Alvin Kamara

NegativeRole29:07

JJ Zachariason describes Alvin Kamara as not a very effective back at this point; Kamara saw more ground work than Travis Etienne in week one, but the Saints backfield is a tough situation to buy into overall. If Etienne is out, Kamara could be a dart throw, but effectiveness remains a concern.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

PositiveProjection105:25

JJ Zachariason pushed back against the narrative that Baker Mayfield is 'cooked,' suggesting skepticism about negative projections for the Buccaneers quarterback heading into the Vikings-Buccaneers matchup in Week 3.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

NegativeInjury21:42

JJ Zachariason shares personal experience in a 14-team league where he drafted Brock Bowers in his top three rounds but has not been able to play him in a single week yet due to injury, and expects this to continue into the current week; Zachariason also mentions Bowers in a separate guillotine league context where Bowers was part of his roster alongside Saquon Barkley and DJ Moore.

Insight page
PositiveInjury23:26

Limited in practice but JJ Zachariason is comfortable playing him this week; cites Graziano's report that Brock Bowers' knee is more likely than not to play in week three; Zachariason would only play McBride and Kincaid over Bowers at tight end.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection47:52

Bryce Young is ranked QB 14 this week versus consensus QB 17 (pre-Thursday night football). JJ Zachariason is bullish on Young, citing sixth-best drop-back third-and-fantasy-points efficiency; favorable matchup against Browns' poor pressure rate; Panthers' first-place pace and first-place pass rate over expected; and recent solid performance against Atlanta defense. The Panthers-Browns game projects as higher-scoring than consensus expectations.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeRole33:54

Bell is an interesting stash in Miami's wide receiver room; his route share could jump, but the team is slow-playing his development. Can't confidently play anyone outside of Hill in that offense right now.

Insight page

Chris Brooks

NegativeRole9:15

Chris Brooks is characterized as a pass-protection specialist who can catch the ball out of the backfield, but not a primary ball carrier in the Packers offense.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveValue0:00

Alave's market valuation was significantly lower than Garrett Wilson's despite nearly identical peripherals; on a per-route-run basis, Alave was actually better. JJ Zachariason went hard on this discrepancy, suggesting Alave was undervalued relative to Wilson in the market.

Insight page
PositiveValue5:18

JJ Zachariason highlighted a market inefficiency where Chris Alave was undervalued relative to Garrett Wilson despite nearly identical peripherals; Alave actually produced better on a per-route-run basis, making him a value target when the market favored Wilson.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveProjection10:07

Christian Watson is projected at over 18 PPR points per game with a crazy ceiling every week; he's benefiting from the Packers' increased pass rate and Jaden Reed's injury funneling targets to him, and he's being positioned as a league winner.

Insight page
PositiveRole23:22

JJ Zachariason credits Christian Watson as coming to his rescue in a 14-team league where his top three draft picks (Puka Nakua, Brock Bowers, Malik Nabers) have all been unavailable due to injury; Watson has provided value as a fill-in option.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeProjection43:03

JJ Zachariason identifies Chuba Hubbard as undervalued in the market based on comp analysis: 90% chance to finish as a top-24 running back, 30% chance of RB1 finish, and 90% chance of RB2 finish. His top-10 comps average over 13 PPR points per game, making him more of a buy than a sell despite questions about his talent level. Note: analysis does not account for Jonathan Brooks' injury status.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeInjury24:00

JJ Zachariason mentions DJ Moore as part of his roster in a late-round guillotine league alongside Brock Bowers and Saquon Barkley; Zachariason thought he was out of contention with this roster composition but was rescued by other league members' worse situations.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveMatchup24:21

JJ Zachariason identifies Dalton Schultz as one of the guys he would be playing this week as a fill-in option given the injuries at receiver.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeMatchup65:05

JJ Zachariason identified Devante Adams as a player of fantasy interest in the Rams-Broncos matchup, curious to see if he can have an encore performance with the Rams against Denver.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeProjection45:24

JJ Zachariason views David Montgomery as interesting based on early-season performance: strong week one output but backfield share wasn't exceptional. His 52% snap share aligns with his comp list, and several comps with sub-55% snap shares performed well in their respective seasons, suggesting Montgomery's outcome should be solid despite moderate backfield involvement.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveRole51:07

Zachariason notes Denzel Boston has been great to start the season and had him as an add on 15 transactions two weeks in a row. However, Boston's role is more volatile than it appears; as a perimeter guy, he gets higher air yards but less consistent opportunity than slot receivers like Concepcion.

Insight page
PositiveRole52:10

JJ Zachariason says Boston's role is good and you need him on your fantasy roster, but it's more volatile than typical perimeter receivers; he'll get spiked weeks with higher air-yard totals and touchdown upside (scored in weeks 1 and 2), though the volatility means lower floor than more consistent slot guys like Concepcion.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup53:00

JJ Zachariason estimates a 60-40 chance that Concepcion has a better fantasy day than Boston this week, despite Boston's higher weekly ceiling; Boston's week 1 touchdown came in a garbage-time environment, while last week was more neutral, suggesting matchup and game script volatility.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveValue12:15

Drake London with Michael Penix under center has fantasy points per route run since 2024 that is only worse than Puka Nakua's, making him comfortably a top-five wide receiver in that pairing; JJ Zachariason had him as a buy and expects him to see a big jump in rankings after this week despite skepticism about Penix's long-term performance.

Insight page

Emmett Johnson

PositiveRole9:21

Zachariason notes there has been good coach speak around Emmett Johnson this week suggesting increased run, and Johnson has looked the part so far. Additionally, if Kenneth Walker goes down, Johnson is positioned to see significant volume increase.

Insight page
PositiveValue49:12

JJ Zachariason ranks Emmett Johnson as RB 34 (consensus RB 41) heading into a matchup against Miami, which ranks dead last in adjusted points allowed to running backs. Kansas City is a big favorite, suggesting favorable game script. Zachariason expresses strong regret that Minnesota did not draft Johnson on day three, noting he was a clear value pick with favorable data and an Aaron Jones comp in the zap model.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeValue0:00

The market significantly favored Garrett Wilson over Chris Alave despite their peripherals being nearly identical, with Alave actually showing better per-route-run efficiency. This market preference created a valuation gap.

Insight page
NegativeValue5:18

Garrett Wilson was significantly overvalued by the market relative to Chris Alave; despite nearly identical peripherals and Alave's superior per-route-run production, the market priced Wilson substantially higher.

Insight page
PositiveUsage25:18

Would be fed targets if 80 Mitchell is out; the Jets have no depth at wide receiver outside of Wilson, making him a primary target if Mitchell cannot play.

Insight page

Isaiah Williams

PositiveRole25:06

Will be next up at tight end for the Saints with Mason Taylor out; benefits from the depth chart opportunity.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeInjury29:48

JJ Zachariason notes that JK Dobbins is injured again in the Broncos backfield, creating uncertainty about the running back rotation. The injury is not season-ending, but it opens the door for Jonah Coleman to potentially see work if both Dobbins and RJ Harvey are unavailable.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveRole23:22

JJ Zachariason credits Jalen Coker as coming to his rescue in a 14-team league where his top three draft picks (Puka Nakua, Brock Bowers, Malik Nabers) have all been unavailable due to injury; Coker has provided value as a fill-in option.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup24:30

JJ Zachariason mentions Jalen Coker as a sneaky, super deep play this week; notes he was not participating earlier in the week but was in uniform catching punts, suggesting he's likely to play.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeValue32:43

JJ Zachariason picked up Winston off waivers in a super flex league despite not needing him, noting that no one had bid on him; he overbid on both Mariota and Winston after injuries hit the league.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

PositiveInjury10:07

Jaden Reed suffered an injury that removes him from the Packers offense, funneling his target share to Tucker Craft, Christian Watson, and Matthew Golden.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeMatchup65:01

JJ Zachariason highlighted Jalen Waddle as a player of fantasy interest in the Rams-Broncos matchup, noting intrigue around the Rams' offensive weapons and wanting to see how the backfield looks for Denver in this game.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveProjection33:33

If Rico Dowdle is out, Warren becomes a fringe RB1 play; he's expected to catch many passes against the Bengals. Dowdle didn't practice, trending toward Warren seeing increased volume.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

NegativeValue29:34

JJ Zachariason advises against burning a top waiver priority on Jonah Coleman early in the season, despite the Broncos backfield injuries to JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey. Coleman's thesis is that he can outpace his ADP, but the Broncos deploy their backfield with multiple contributors; unless both Dobbins and Harvey suffer season-ending injuries, Coleman will not be a true RB2. Coleman is nice to have on the bench and will have a role this year, but his ceiling is limited in a committee.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeRole20:55

JJ Zachariason mentions Jonathan Brooks among running backs (alongside Rico Dowdle and Jordan Mason) in the context of early-season injury discussions and the debate around zero RB strategy; no specific projection or stance is articulated for Brooks individually.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeProjection12:08

Jordan Love did not play well in the game but was still very usable in fantasy football, suggesting his supporting cast (Watson, Golden, Craft) can produce fantasy points regardless of his performance quality.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

NegativeRole20:55

JJ Zachariason mentions Jordan Mason among running backs (alongside Jonathan Brooks and Rico Dowdle) in the context of early-season injury discussions and the debate around zero RB strategy; no specific projection or stance is articulated for Mason individually.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeProjection9:30

Josh Jacobs is unlikely to significantly improve the Packers' run game despite being added to the roster. The offensive line is the primary limiting factor, and Jacobs at this stage of his career won't make a massive difference. While he would help, he's not elite enough to overcome the line's deficiencies.

Insight page
NegativeRole9:54

JJ Zachariason argues that Josh Jacobs, despite being a talented running back, is not elite enough to overcome the Packers' offensive line limitations; while he would help the run game, he won't make a massive difference to it.

Insight page

Kenyon Sadiq

PositiveRole25:23

Very interesting this week with Mason Taylor out; becomes a more viable option in the Saints offense due to the tight end depth chart opportunity.

Insight page
NegativeRole55:15

JJ Zachariason mentions Kenyon Sadiq as the third rookie tight end being discussed, noting he didn't have an obvious tight end to throw into the conversation and was factoring in the Mason Taylor situation, suggesting Sadiq is in consideration for tight end discussions but context is incomplete in this segment.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection12:15

Kyle Pitts was terrible from a fantasy perspective in the game with Michael Penix under center and has seen worse numbers with Penix compared to his performance with other quarterbacks.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeProjection45:24

JJ Zachariason's comp analysis of Luther Burden shows mixed outcomes: none of his top-10 comps finish as WR1, three finish as WR2, and one is Travis Hunter (2023, who did not finish well). However, the comp list includes positive comparisons like Amari Cooper (2023, top-20) and Cooper Kupp (2020, top-20), suggesting moderate upside potential despite the lack of elite WR1 finishes.

Insight page
NegativeProjection45:28

Early-season comp analysis shows Luther Burden's historical comparables finished with mixed results: three comps were top-20 wide receivers, including Amari Cooper (2023) and Cooper Kupp (2020), but others like Travis Hunter (last year) did not finish well. Against ADP expectation, Burden's average finish essentially matches where he was drafted, suggesting he can meet consensus expectations despite the mixed comp outcomes.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeInjury21:42

JJ Zachariason shares personal experience in a 14-team league where he drafted Malik Nabers in his top three rounds but has not been able to play him in a single week yet due to injury, and expects this to continue into the current week.

Insight page

Marcus Mariota

NegativeValue33:03

JJ Zachariason overbid on Mariota in super flex leagues, spending 15 extra dollars expecting league interest; the overbid occurred amid multiple injuries across the league.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeProjection6:30

Lloyd was ranked as a dart throw in JJ Zachariason's draft guide, initially kept in due to Josh Jacobs uncertainty. In hindsight, Zachariason wishes he had ranked Lloyd lower (10th round instead of 7th-8th round). Lloyd has looked stiff early in the season, possibly due to hamstring issues, and lacks the explosiveness expected from his prospect profile despite having good speed and speed score metrics.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

NegativeInjury25:03

Will be out this week; his absence opens up opportunities for other tight ends in the Saints offense.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveBreakout10:07

Matthew Golden is projected at over 18 PPR points per game and is being positioned as a league winner; JJ Zachariason reacted strongly to him after week one because the Packers are throwing the ball more, the defense looked poor, and Reed's injury is funneling even more looks to him.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

PositiveRole12:15

Michael Penix returned to the Falcons and showed improvement as the game progressed; he ran more under-center plays, which JJ Zachariason believes may indicate offensive coordinator Zach Robinson's limitations and suggest better offensive efficiency going forward.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeInjury21:21

JJ Zachariason notes that Nico Collins is currently down with an injury; Zachariason uses Collins as an example of a wide receiver injury where backup elevation is not automatic in fantasy, contrasting this with running back injuries where backup volume becomes more predictable and valuable.

Insight page
NegativeInjury24:11

Flagged by JJ Zachariason as a player to monitor this week due to injury concerns; recommends avoiding if you have him on your roster.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeProjection46:31

Parker Washington's early-season comp analysis is disappointing; none of his top 10 comparables finished top 12, and only 40% of the 12 comparable wide receivers finished top 24. However, JJ Zachariason notes he is more bullish on Parker Washington in rest-of-season ranks than this comp list suggests, indicating potential divergence between early-season comp data and his forward-looking assessment.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeInjury21:42

JJ Zachariason mentions Puka Nakua as a wide receiver whose injury elevates teammate value (Terrence Ferguson implied); Zachariason also shares personal experience in a 14-team league where he drafted Puka Nakua in his top three rounds but has not been able to play him in a single week yet due to injury, and expects this to continue into the current week.

Insight page
NegativeInjury24:18

Ruled out this week; JJ Zachariason flags him as a player to avoid if you have him on your roster this week.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeProjection44:01

JJ Zachariason's comp analysis anchored to Rice's WR12 ADP shows weak underlying support: only 10% chance to finish as a top-12 wide receiver despite the ADP anchor. His comp list is concerning, featuring WR73, WR63, and WR48 finishes with average PPR points per game under 12. While Mike Evans (2020, 2022) provides one positive comp as a top-12 finisher, the majority of Rice's comps (including Chris Hogan 2018, a fourth-round pick who was an awful pick) suggest downside risk.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveRole21:42

JJ Zachariason identifies Rashad Bateman as a player fantasy managers care about now following injuries to teammates (Odell Beckham Jr. or Terrence Ferguson implied); Bateman is presented as an example of a wide receiver whose value increases with teammate injury, though Zachariason emphasizes this is less predictable than running back backup elevation.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup24:21

JJ Zachariason identifies Rashad Bateman as one of the guys he would be playing this week as a fill-in option given the injuries at receiver.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeRole20:55

JJ Zachariason mentions Rico Dowdle among running backs (alongside Jonathan Brooks and Jordan Mason) in the context of early-season injury discussions and the debate around zero RB strategy; no specific projection or stance is articulated for Dowdle individually.

Insight page
NegativeInjury33:33

Dowdle didn't practice this week, trending toward being out; his absence would elevate Jalen Warren to fringe RB1 status.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeInjury29:54

JJ Zachariason reports that RJ Harvey is already hurt in the Broncos backfield, creating a scenario where Jonah Coleman could see increased work. However, the injury is not season-ending, and Harvey is expected to return, limiting Coleman's long-term ceiling.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

PositiveProjection46:16

Roma Odunze's early-season comp analysis is not rosy; he has only seen a 12% target share so far this year, and none of his historical comparables have finished top 24 or top 12 based on early-season data, suggesting limited upside relative to typical wide receiver production benchmarks.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeUsage23:54

Limited in practice; JJ Zachariason expects him to play but notes a downside concern: his route share is lower than expected, with Will Shipley being used in pass protection and receiving situations, which could limit Barkley's target share.

Insight page
NegativeInjury24:00

JJ Zachariason mentions Saquon Barkley as part of his roster in a late-round guillotine league alongside Brock Bowers and DJ Moore; Zachariason thought he was out of contention with this roster composition but was rescued by other league members' worse situations.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

NegativeInjury26:18

Banged up right now; status uncertain as the Eagles backfield deals with multiple injuries.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveMatchup24:21

JJ Zachariason identifies Terrence Ferguson as one of the guys he would be playing this week as a fill-in option given the injuries at receiver.

Insight page
NegativeInjury24:30

JJ Zachariason mentions Terrence Ferguson as a player to monitor this week if you have him on your roster, in the context of discussing wide receiver injuries and their impact on fantasy lineups.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeInjury27:23

Limited in practice; the Saints running back room has been chaotic to start the season with multiple injury concerns.

Insight page
NegativeRole27:54

JJ Zachariason notes that Travis Etienne has not secured a bell cow workload in the Saints offense and will not be an RB1 despite preseason expectations; his snap rate and overall usage are not significantly different from his Jacksonville tenure, where he was ineffective despite good volume and blocking. Alvin Kamara saw more ground work than Etienne in week one, signaling a committee approach.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeProjection30:59

Travis Kelce scored a touchdown, which was followed by a broadcast pan to Taylor Swift, generating social media memes. This is a cultural moment rather than a fantasy insight, but it reflects Kelce's continued scoring ability.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveProjection10:07

Tucker Craft is receiving funneled targets from the Packers' increased pass rate and Jaden Reed's injury; he is projected at over 18 PPR points per game and is being positioned as a league winner.

Insight page

Tyreek Hill

PositiveRole33:54

Hill is the only Miami wide receiver you can confidently play right now; the rest of the receiver room is unreliable.

Insight page

Will Shipley

PositiveRole26:08

Being used in pass protection and receiving situations for the Eagles; this increased role comes at the expense of Saquon Barkley's target share, suggesting Shipley is getting more offensive opportunities.

Insight page

Xavier Hutchinson

NegativeRole21:21

JJ Zachariason uses Xavier Hutchinson as an example of a backup wide receiver who does not automatically become a must-start fantasy option when Nico Collins is injured, illustrating that wide receiver backup elevation is less predictable than running back backup elevation.

Insight page

Zay Jones

NegativeInjury24:11

Flagged by JJ Zachariason as a player to monitor this week due to injury concerns; recommends avoiding if you have him on your roster.

Insight page
NegativeInjury24:30

JJ Zachariason mentions Zay Jones as a player to monitor this week if you have him on your roster, in the context of discussing wide receiver injuries and their impact on fantasy lineups.

1:20Without further ado, here's this week's episode. Welcome in, welcome in to Late Round Fantasy Football Show.
1:26David Kitchen here alongside JJ. Zachary Sin, JJ, how are you?
1:29I'm good. I'm good. It's a backwards hat day.
1:32So those of you in chat, I set the line.
1:35Forward hat was plus 360. Backwards hat was plus 160.
1:38No hat was minus 140. Somebody needs to run the analytics and see what is most common on these shows.
1:45It's got to be no hat, right? No hat's got to be the most common for me.
1:50I don't know. It's actually... We'd have to separate data buckets in-season and off-season.
1:55Yeah. But you think in-season is backwards more? It's possible.
1:58I'm not sure. I don't know if I have it.
2:01I don't know if there's any... Maybe it's flip-flopped.
2:04I don't know if there's any difference. I will say that I've probably worn a forward hat like five times on stream.
2:11It doesn't have... Because the way my head is shaped, it's hard for me to get a forward hat going.
2:17But the one Super Bowl hat that we got when we were in San Francisco back in February is a forward...
2:24It can be a forward-facing hat for me. I forgot about my...
2:28It's somewhere... I've got all the hats just stuffed in a little nook.
2:32Yeah. So... I can't imagine going to a job where I had to wear...
2:36Like, I could not wear a hat. Roy says the guy wearing the hat probably shouldn't set the line.
2:42I don't know, man. I mean, the sportsbook sets the lines, you know?
2:47Very... They just don't know the outcomes. Very PM approach is what someone said.
2:51Beans, green tomatoes, you win. Too easy. Welcome in, though, everyone.
2:55We're excited to have you in. We're excited to talk about week three.
2:59We'll talk also about some Thursday night football reactions.
3:02I know some people are thinking we're back and other people are thinking, what have I done to my fantasy team?
3:08So we'll talk about that. But right now, JJ, want to just mention to people, we have our rankings.
3:14We have our Discord. We have now our member Q&A.
3:18And this week, we started putting the member Q&A that we have on Tuesday nights that you're...
3:23When you're on the show, answering member questions, now we're transcribing those and putting them in the Discord on Wednesday morning for those that want to scroll through.
3:32Yes. I mean, look, those live stream Q&As, I'm not saying...
3:35This is not hyperbole. I think I answer 150 questions a week on those.
3:40So if you are a member, you're already seeing that.
3:43There are times where I, as a solo person doing that, get frustrated because the same questions pop up or they're asking questions that the rankings can answer.
3:52But that's beside the point. You guys get to...
3:55One of the things that members love is when I go on rants and when I...
4:00Not tilt, necessarily. It's more of like... Sometimes it is tilting.
4:03Sometimes the members enjoy the tilt. Yes. Yeah. Yes.
4:06And it's become more of a bit than anything else.
4:09But a lot of it, though, there is at least one or two instances every single live stream where I rant about
4:16a topic that just organically pops up. And I say, okay, this past week, I ranted about trades.
4:22And I do it once a year, probably like four times a year, where people often are like, hey, who should I trade this sell candidate for?
4:31And the answer is find a team that needs that kind of position, that kind of player.
4:36Because every valuation is going to be a little bit different.
4:40But yeah, it's a good time every Tuesday, eight o'clock.
4:43We have a good time. Yeah. And people in the chat saying it's passion.
4:47Passion. We don't say rants. We say passion. I will say a lot of people...
4:52I've gotten this for years and years. This kind of criticism, critique, whatever you want to call it.
4:58That my voice can be annoying. And that people can't listen to the Lay Around Podcast.
5:03Because of that, it feels like they're getting yelled at.
5:06Right? Some people feel that way. Guys, this is just the way that I was made.
5:11And then also, I am passionate about this stuff.
5:14And I think that you're doing a solo show.
5:17You need to bring a little bit of extra fire to the table.
5:21But also, genuinely, this is the way that I...
5:24When I am having a conversation that's heated and interesting.
5:27And we're trying to... I mean, I get energized by it.
5:31You know? And I don't... I love this stuff.
5:34I love digging into it. I love presenting the information.
5:37I love talking through it. I love the back and forth that we have in Discord.
5:42All of that. And that comes out in me getting...
5:45I mean, sometimes my voice cracks on the solo shows.
5:48But that happens. That's just all part of the enthusiasm for it.
5:52That's right. If you want to see the behind the scenes, you'll see the Discord chats.
5:57We have a channel for the news and rumors.
6:00That's what I have a lot on my screen.
6:03The news and rumors channel. But we always have a live game chat as well.
6:08The membership, it is well worth it, in my opinion.
6:11Mufasa says, Nah, the Alave vs. Wilson rant from JJ will live in infamy.
6:15I had a rant a couple years ago, a few years ago, where it was the...
6:20It was when Chris Alave and Garrett Wilson were so far different within the market.
6:25The market just loved Garrett Wilson. When their peripherals were almost identical.
6:29If not, Alave was better on a per-route-run basis.
6:32And I remember... I went pretty hard in the paint for that one.
6:36Which sometimes happens. Sometimes you got to lean into it a little bit.
6:40All right. We have a ton to talk about.
6:43I mean, if you weren't affected by injuries at all in week two, just go ahead and play the lottery.
6:49And just know that it might be coming for you in week three.
6:53So let's go ahead and get into it. It's this week's news.
6:57Today's fantasy news! All right, JJ. Let's start. Because we have a lot to talk about.
7:02Let's start with last night's Thursday night football game.
7:05Obviously, the Falcons blow out the Packers at home.
7:08What are we doing here if you're the Packers fan?
7:11That was like an exact... I read the lips of a guy who's like, What are we doing here after they miss the third or fourth?
7:20Yeah. I love whenever they cut to the commercial and they just do the slow-mo of the fans.
7:25The best is when they just are clearly saying the F word or something and they just didn't realize it whenever they slow-moed it.
7:33There's a new meme where the lady is feeling her pulse.
7:37Yeah. To see if she's in such disbelief there at the game.
7:40We're going to see that for a while. Yeah.
7:43So last night's game, to me, was really encouraging from a fantasy perspective because I think that a lot of us were
7:50already at the point where we're like, Okay, the Packers' backfield is kind of dead.
7:55I don't even think that we've gotten a fair shake of seeing what these backs are necessarily capable of.
8:01The offensive line has just been so bad. They have gotten zero room to do that much and they themselves haven't been
8:08good to create that on their own. So I think that the guys that they have on that team right now are players that are not creators.
8:17They're not above average running backs. They're mostly average.
8:20And Marshawn Lloyd, if I go back to my thinking in the preseason and the draft guide and stuff, I had him
8:27as a dart throw in the draft guide because I wrote him up before everything really went down with Josh Jacobs.
8:33And I kind of kept him in there just because things were going down with the Jacobs situation.
8:39We didn't really know what was going on. And then I just eventually just said, Hey, check where I have him ranked.
8:46And in hindsight, I wish that I had ranked him lower than I did.
8:50I didn't really get him that much, but I still wish that I was like, Hey, 10th round instead of, you know,
8:57eighth round or whatever it was, you know, for, for Marshawn Lloyd or seven, even seventh round.
9:03But with Lloyd, you know, from a prospect profile standpoint, he had a lot of speed and a good speed score.
9:10And like, he has that explosiveness. I think that he just looked really, really stiff so far this season.
9:16And maybe it has to do with like the hammies and the work that he's done there.
9:21That's been a problem. I think for Marshawn Lloyd, Caleb Johnson, I think is just looks so average.
9:27I mean, just so ordinary when I watch him.
9:30And then obviously Chris Brooks is Chris Brooks. He's more of just like a good pass protector can catch the ball in the backfield.
9:37I don't think Josh Jacobs is walking through that door and saving this run game.
9:42The, the, the offensive line matters significantly for running backs, whether we want to believe that or not, it does.
9:48It's a thing. And you have to be Uber elite in order for it to not be meaningful.
9:54And so I don't think that Josh Jacobs at this point, his career is going to like make this significant difference to that.
10:01I mean, he would help, but not make this like massive difference to the run game.
10:07So I say this, that it was a good game for fantasy football because we now don't have Jaden Reed.
10:13We have a Packers team that is far higher in pass rate over expected than they've been over the last couple of years.
10:20And now all of those targets are being funneled to three people to Tucker craft and to, to a lesser extent, Tucker
10:27craft, but Christian Watson and Matthew golden right now, they're expected points per game.
10:32PPR points per game is over 18 Matthew golden and Christian Watson.
10:36And those guys are looking like league winners wherever.
10:38I mean, golden looks great. Christian Watson has a crazy ceiling every week.
10:43You know, and he's been, you know, he obviously got the, the end zone look, you know, early on in that game.
10:50And then we're like, Oh, is he going to do?
10:53And then all of a sudden the, the offense opens up because all they had to do is throw the ball.
10:59And they both just dominated. So like both of them should, and this is where like after week one, I was reacting so strongly to Matthew golden.
11:08And it was because of this, because we were seeing this team throw the ball more and the defense didn't look very good.
11:15And you could just kind of see this starting to, to happen.
11:19And then I think the Jaden Reed injuries, just funneling those looks to them even more, you know, cause you have sky more essentially replacing Jaden Reed.
11:28So from a fantasy perspective, Jordan love didn't even look good last night.
11:32And he was very usable in fantasy football, right?
11:35Like it just didn't matter. And then on the other side, you get Michael Penix back.
11:40And I mean, I guess I shouldn't say it was all encouraging for fantasy.
11:44Cause Kyle pits was terrible last night. Oh, fantasy perspective.
11:48He was the only one though in that offense.
11:50Yeah. And I ran some numbers. I tweeted the one about Drake London, Drake London.
11:55You know, I talked about this on the 15 transaction show earlier this week when I'm, I had London as a buy
12:02and, uh, Drake London with Michael Penix under center, his fantasy points per route run since 24, 24 is only worse than Puka Nakua's.
12:10I mean, he is literally comfortably a top five wide receiver with Michael Penix under center.
12:15Will I rank him as a top five wide receiver after this week?
12:19I think that he's in the fringe. I think that he's going to see a big jump because there's, you know, there's
12:26this skepticism of like, what is this really going to look like?
12:30Is Michael Penix going to, he looked bad in the first quarter, Michael Penix, and then he kind of settled in and he looked really good.
12:38The other thing too, is that that offense, he, he ran a lot more under center.
12:43And I'm starting to think that Zach Robinson just might not be it after what we saw last year.
12:49And then now we're, we're seeing Michael Penix perform.
12:52It's only a one game sample seeing Michael Penix without him now.
12:56And then Robinson being in Tampa Bay and Tampa Bay's offense, looking like what it looks like.
13:01It's like you start to make those connections. Sometimes you're like, wait a second, wait a second.
13:07What if something's going on here? Cause they did not let Michael Penix play under center very frequently at all last year.
13:14So I think there's a lot of good there.
13:17Kyle pits has seen worse numbers with Michael Penix.
13:20I think that's probably a result of Drake London, just seeing better numbers with Michael Penix.
13:25Then Bijan Robinson is just, I mean, he's the clear RB two in fantasy football right now.
13:30I still prefer Jameer Gibbs gives us seeing a better backfield chair than, than Robinson is.
13:35And I still trust the lions offense more than I do the Falcons offense, but Bijan's the RB two in fantasy.
13:42Michael Penix being back is huge, huge for this office, huge for Drake London.
13:46And then I mean, I, I, I, Drake London is a wide receiver one rest of season.
13:52Did he look slow to you on? Everyone's saying that number one, the corner, I think the corner ran like a four,
13:59two something for like, so, so there's that, but also guys, Drake London's like six, four, six, five, he's a big, he's a big player.
14:07And he's not, and he's not a, you know, they're using him in the slot too, which is really nice.
14:13So like we wanted that to continue year over year, but London's not, you know, speed search.
14:19This is exactly why speed is an overrated metric at wide receiver and why there's inverse correlation when you layer on draft capital.
14:26Yeah. Ran a four, five, four. So yeah, not, not a speedster, but he's a big body.
14:31And he, he produced last night. You could get it even money over five and a half catches last night.
14:38And he just, he crushed that. I mean, he was getting those screens at first and then just, they finally opened things up.
14:45Yeah. Yes, exactly. All right. Let's move on to the injuries that we have that we're dealing with.
14:51It was a brutal week for quarterbacks and wide receivers in week two.
14:55Obviously we had, you know, Kayla Williams and Jaden Daniels, and then Jackson dart.
14:59Dart was the one that we thought might not be as bad.
15:03It turns out it's the worst. He's going to miss the season.
15:07And then no IR for Jaden or Caleb. However, Caleb Williams backup is concussed right now.
15:12Tyson patient is, is concussed. They say he's in the building and reading this from our, from Courtney Cronin.
15:18We'll see if he's part of the protocol where he's able to do some work on the practice field today.
15:24So we're not sure what this bears passing games and look like.
15:28And that's just perfect. JJ. Yeah. It's really hard to trust anyone right now in the passing attack.
15:34After what we saw last week, obviously Khalif Raymond's getting a lot more run.
15:38Listen to the 10 trends episode to get a little bit more detail on all of that.
15:44If Tyson Bajan starts, you know, you could maybe see Luther burden as like a wide receiver three type.
15:50I can't remember exactly where I have these guys ranked this week, but Bajan did look at Luther burden quite a bit and burden.
15:58This is according to fantasy points data, but burden has been a first read quite frequently in that offense.
16:04And he has a good separation score according to their metrics as well.
16:08So I, you know, we'll see. I don't think that we should be overly enthusiastic about starting these guys right now.
16:14I do think that the bears game scripts have been weird to start the season and like the way that week one
16:21went down, you know, the weird, like the tertiary guys all got touchdowns.
16:26It just was a strange game in general. Then obviously last week was in the rain and they played a good Minnesota
16:33defense and they blitz Caleb Williams a lot. So I'm not, I'm trying not to overreact about what's going on with these
16:40guys, but I do think that it's reasonable to just be like, Hey, if I have, you know, if you drafted Jalen
16:47Coker late, you're obviously playing Jalen Coker over all those pass catchers, you know?
16:51And even like you might be sitting there being like, I need floor.
16:55I need just some production. And you might want to get a Don Tavian wix or Devon veille or something like that, you know?
17:03So, um, yeah, where I'm at right now is I'm just being cautious with that whole offense in general.
17:09Okay. As far as the commander's offense with, uh, with Jaden, no chig, a con quo, uh, probably more than likely for the commanders.
17:17No Jaden got Marcus Omar. Oh, Marcus Mariota and James Winston now in the year 2026 JJ.
17:22Yeah. Look, Marcus Mariota. There, there are definitely worse backups out there for sure.
17:26Um, I, it's just Seattle. Like it's going to be really tough to trust a lot of the guys there.
17:33The one thing that I'll say about with chig being out and just the way that this offense has operated to start
17:40the season, they're running 11 personnel, at a fairly high rate to start the year, the, the commanders are.
17:46And so I would expect that to continue simply because, you know, they're eighth in the league right now and 11 personnel use.
17:53So I would, I would expect that to continue without chig, you know, and maybe Antonio Williams gets a little bit more run.
18:01I still want to see them kind of move these guys inside out more with digs and, and Williams and, um, you
18:08know, get them, uh, moving around the field. But yeah, I mean like Marcus Mariota is not the, the worst backup or biggest downgrade you can find.
18:16Unfortunately, it sounds like Jane Daniels could be back sooner than we expected and he's not being put on IR.
18:23So that's good. Right. Yeah. If you, especially if you saw that replay, all right, uh, here are some players that were placed on IR this week.
18:31You got, uh, Jonathan Brooks, Alec Pierce, David and Joku.
18:34Uh, they were placed on IR, placed on IR JJ.
18:38And then we'll talk about three big receivers that could miss this week.
18:42Yeah. The, the Jonathan Brooks thing really opens up, you know, obviously Chuba Hubbard was seeing a good backfield share already.
18:48Yeah. Uh, but the idea was that Brooks would slowly, you know, dig into that a little bit more because I don't
18:55think, I still don't think that Chuba Hubbard's like an amazing talent, but I think that right now he's probably still undervalued by the market.
19:03Chuba is just based on, you know, the fact that Brooks can't stay healthy.
19:08We have a very small sample now of, of him.
19:11Like, like every time he gets this opportunity, something happens.
19:14And so I think we got to just lean into this idea that Chuba Hubbard is going to be a bell cow this year.
19:22And I don't think that the market has necessarily done that quite as much as it should.
19:27So that's kind of interesting. The Alec Pierce thing.
19:30I talked about Josh Downs earlier this week as a buy.
19:34I know that this is one of the situations where you're like, Oh, well, everyone knows that he's a buy.
19:40I'm saying, no, I think that I like him more than where other people have him.
19:45I know that my rank rest of season rankings versus consensus had them like six or seven wide receiver spots higher.
19:52So I like Josh Downs rest of season. And then obviously with David and Joku and Charlie Kolar was not on IR,
19:59which was surprising, but it's a good matchup for Rondé Gadsden this week.
20:03I think that you should be throwing that dart, at least have them on your bench, because there's always a chance that
20:10if the offense just happens to work a little bit better and Gadsden's involved in some way that they just kind of
20:17move on with that in that fashion moving forward.
20:20So I do think Gadsden should be rostered in the majority of leagues right now.
20:25Yeah. They got to do something different there. The chargers do.
20:28So maybe he is a big part of that.
20:31All right. Puka, Zay, Nico all could miss this week before we get to talking about that.
20:36I want to bring up Mr. Levitan, Adam Levitan's tweet.
20:40He says, who has heard it quarterback wide receiver tight end.
20:43Puka, Nakua, Nico, Brock, AJ Brown, Zay Flowers, Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, Jackson, Dar, Jaden Reed, Kyler Murray, Jordan Tyson, Alec Pierce,
20:50Michael Pittman, Sam Darnold, Dejan Shribling, Ricky Pierce, all Jaden Higgins, Dallas Goddard, Jacoby Lane.
20:55Who has heard it running back? That's the med committee backs.
20:58Jonathan Brooks, Rico, dad, or Jordan Mason. Yeah. I've seen a lot.
21:02Look, I'm far from a zero RB bro. I don't think that, you know, you can read the draft guide.
21:09I talked about, you know, every year I talk about going with early round running backs because that's where the league winners come from, you know, every year.
21:17With that being said, I do think that like people victory lapping anything in general, but like, especially a zero RB being
21:24the, the wrong approach this year and doing that after two weeks, you're missing the point of what zero RB really is,
21:31which is the fact that when a wide receiver gets hurt, right?
21:35It doesn't, it doesn't, you don't automatically elevate the backup wide receiver to be a starter in your fantasy league.
21:42You know, Nico Collins is down right now and no one is sitting there being like, Oh, I got to absolutely play Keishon booty.
21:49I got to absolutely play Xavier Hutchinson. Now, obviously there are going to be spots where they have good matchups.
21:56And I'll talk about that later. And, you know, Rashad Bateman is someone that we care about now without say flowers or,
22:03you know, Terrence Ferguson, we care about without Puka Nakua.
22:06I'm not saying that that doesn't exist. I'm just saying that it's a lot more predictable slash valuable when a running back goes down.
22:14And then all of a sudden we can get that projectable volume from the backup running back.
22:19So it's two weeks and yeah, there's going to be more wide receiver injuries in total than there will be running back injuries.
22:26Cause there's more wide receivers in general out there.
22:29Right. So, you know, you, you can, you can pick and choose, you know, wide receivers that are hurt.
22:35Um, but I do think that we're also in a, in a situation where the game's a little bit different than it used to be.
22:43Um, you know, you, you have smaller defenses, maybe that's playing some sort of a role.
22:48Yeah. I think after last year, I kind of was like, you know, I don't know if we're going to see like massive, massive recalibration with running back.
22:57Injury right now, but I also don't think that right now is the time that we should be saying confidently that this
23:04is the way it's going to go no matter what, after just two weeks of football.
23:09So I think it's just an interesting thing to keep in mind as you're, you know, looking at injuries and getting very
23:16tilted, uh, with the players you have, like I'm in a local league and it's a 14 teamer.
23:22I'm somehow two and O, but I drafted my, my top three rounds.
23:26It's a 14 team, like homely. And my team is, I started Puka Nakua, Brock Bowers, Malik neighbors in this, in this league.
23:33I haven't played a single week with all three of them in my lineup yet, you know?
23:39And so, and it's not going to happen this week either.
23:42Um, and so fortunately I have Jalen Coker and Christian Watson to the rescue, but, um, yeah, I mean like, like I
23:49know that there are people out there that are struggling because of these injuries.
23:54That's just part of fantasy football. Yeah. Last week in the, uh, late round, uh, guillotine league, I had Bowers, Barkley, DJ
24:01Moore, and I thought I was out. I thought I was out of it.
24:05Well, bless Aaron's heart in the chat. He was even out of it worse than I was.
24:11And he was stuck with Puka Nakua at the end.
24:14And then Puka was ruled out and he tried to get, I forget if it was Whittington or whoever it was.
24:21Mumfeld. Yeah. Yeah. Held a pit. Yeah. So it did not, it could always be worse.
24:26Uh, basically is what we're saying, but you do have to think about things.
24:30If you have Puka, if you have Zay, if you have Nico this week.
24:35Yeah. I mean, it's, uh, Terrence Ferguson, Dalton Schultz, really honest.
24:38And Rashad Bateman. Like those are, those are the guys that I would be playing, but I will talk later.
24:45There's a couple of guys that I'm interested in, uh, or one in particular that I think could be a really, really
24:52sneaky, super, super deep play this week. Okay. You mentioned, uh, playing Jalen Coker.
24:56He was not participating earlier this week. He was in uniform catching punts today.
25:00So let's just assume JJ, hopefully that he plays.
25:03I just wanted to put it out there. Yeah.
25:06I'm hoping he, I'm, I'm thinking he's going to go.
25:09Yeah. It's an issue. Now this one though, 80 Mitchell hurt his finger in practice.
25:14I saw rich, meaning saying that it's definitely an injury to monitor.
25:18Had it taped. Um, they also have Mason Taylor going to be out this week as well.
25:23Yeah. I mean, Isaiah Williams will be next up at what they don't have like any wide receivers outside of, I mean,
25:30they have no depth at the position. So I'm someone was placed on, uh, IR, uh, I think, or Arian Smith was placed.
25:38Yeah. Which I, you know, I still don't know if that even counts as a wide receiver, but anyway, uh, yeah, I
25:45mean like, like Garrett Wilson would be fed if 80 Mitchell's out.
25:49And then obviously with Mason Taylor out, Kenyon Sadiq is very interesting this week.
25:53Okay. Let's talk about some players that have been limited in practice.
25:57Say Kwan limited. I think, I think take one's going to go.
26:01Yeah. Yeah. I mean, he came back for that second, uh, that that second half versus the Titans just didn't play well.
26:08And for like, yeah, for like a play, right?
26:11Yeah. For a couple of plays and then got taken out, but we were also kind of surprised about the, um, the usage.
26:18You mentioned it in the, the, the dated, not the dated.
26:21Yeah. Two weeks ago, I talked about his route share being lower than what I expected.
26:26And it is like, they're using Will Shipley and pass pro and in these receiving situations.
26:32And so I do think that's kind of like the downside with Barkley right now is I wonder what the target share
26:39is going to look like for him. But you know, take Bigsby is banged up right now too.
26:44So we will see what happens with all of that.
26:47And Will Shipley is technically banged up as well.
26:50I mean, the whole backfield is a mess, but I do think that sake one's going to end up going.
26:57And if he, if he goes, he's a good play.
27:00Okay. Brock Bowers also has been limited. How comfortable are you in playing him this week?
27:05If he is available to play. I'd probably only play McBride and Kincaid over Brock.
27:10But it's, it feels so good to say Dalton Kincaid there feels so good.
27:14But no, I was actually looking for Brock Bowers updates today.
27:18And I just saw a random tweet that grassy it's, you know, an underdog tweet and Graziano.
27:23The quote is Graziano senses that Brock Bowers knee is more likely than not to play in week three.
27:29Right? So the, but the way that you read that you're like, wait, he's not going to play in week three whenever you first see it likely.
27:38Yeah. Yeah. So, so I do think Bowers is going to go this week.
27:42Okay. Uh, and then Travis, a Chan, um, is also been limited.
27:46That running back room for the saints has been so weird to start the season.
27:51Yeah. I like, it's true. It has been weird.
27:54It seems like the, there's been so many, like I see clips of the age, like the saints backfield and about the
28:01saints backfield constantly, but like realistically, I'm not massively surprised.
28:04Cause his, his overall like snap rate and stuff like that.
28:07Isn't like tremendously different than what he saw in Jacksonville.
28:11And he wasn't that effective in Jacksonville last year.
28:13He just was getting the right kind of volume in the right kind of offense.
28:18And, uh, he was getting good blocking too. He had really good, like yards before contact type numbers and stuff as well.
28:25I'm not saying that, like I saw this coming to this degree, but it's, it is, you know, it was interesting that,
28:32that Alvin Kamara saw more work than him on the ground last week.
28:36Like that's certainly weird. I just am trying to just look at this as the ebbs and flows of like one game samples and stuff happens.
28:45And of course we, we react to how that backfield is, has looked.
28:49And we react to the fact that, uh, you know, Travis, a chance is, is not seeing a bell cow workload.
28:56So if you had hopes that he was going to be an RB one, he's not gonna be an RB one in this office.
29:03It's just not going to happen the way that things have gone.
29:07If he's out, um, you can maybe throw the dart at Kamara.
29:11He's just not a very effective back at this point.
29:14Yeah. I mean, it's a, it's a tough, it's a tough situation to really buy into in general.
29:20Yeah, exactly. Um, what about the Broncos running back room?
29:23Because it seems like all those guys are getting better.
29:26Maybe Jonah Coleman though, is not going to play.
29:29We had like short lived run with him. This is the downside of early week waivers.
29:34You know, it's waivers should be on Wednesday night.
29:37I agree. Yeah. Then, then, you know, Tuesday to Wednesday, which is frequent with like Yahoo and ESPN and such and sleeper.
29:44Um, but yeah, I mean like, it's crazy that we were sitting here being like, Oh, JK Dobbins is hurt again.
29:51Oh, RJ Harvey's already hurt. Maybe he won't play.
29:54It's going to be the Jonah Coleman show. And some people burn their number one waiver priority on that.
30:00And although I did talk about that on the live stream, which is something that, you know, if you guys had that
30:07question, I was not really in favor of burning that top waiver priority on Coleman like this early, just because I think
30:14like the, the thesis with Coleman is that he can really outpace his ADP and where he was drafted.
30:20But given the way that they generally deploy that backfield, unless you get multiple injuries there with Harvey and Dobbins, which yes,
30:27we were pacing that, but they weren't, they weren't like season ending, you know, it was like, maybe you get Coleman this
30:34week, you know, um, that's the way that Coleman would really hit.
30:37But if one of them is still active, they're going to be involved in that, in that offense to some degree.
30:44Um, so Coleman's nice to have you at least got them on your bench.
30:49I think that he's going to have a role this year.
30:52I just don't know until both injuries happen that you'd see him as like a true, like RB two type, you know,
30:59when Travis Kelsey just like score that touchdown, they pan to Taylor Swift and she was going, my husband.
31:05Now there's like all these memes. I saw one that was like my wife, when she sees me getting up at 3.
31:12A.M. To, uh, to claim whoever wasn't claimed on a way.
31:16If you guys have ever, like I'll wake up sometimes at like three or four.
31:20Cause like, you know, I have a monitor up and my son like hops or something like that and wakes me up.
31:27And then I, I check. And if you go league by league, they all, it's all sporadic.
31:33Like, yeah, like one league has run their fab waivers and then one hasn't.
31:37And then you're, you're going through it. And so like, it's, it's a very, like we, I want to know the tech behind that.
31:45Like, I want to know why it can't sleepers.
31:48The most efficient. Yeah. But, but sleepers also like they kind of default to the two, the 3.
31:54A.M. Eastern 2. A.M. Uh, yeah. Central time. But they get it all done immediately.
31:58Like I'm in three Yahoo leagues this year. Right.
32:01Yeah. And on, in those leagues, one of them ran when I woke up at like three 30 on, on Wednesday morning,
32:08you know, Tuesday to Wednesday, and then two of them hadn't run yet, you know?
32:13And it's like, well, I want, I want, I want all of them to run so that I can go through and
32:20just see what, what free agents are out there.
32:23Um, it's the ultimate ball knower type thing. Cause I, I was even, uh, my daughter had her tonsils out this week.
32:30So we're on like the newborn schedule. She's getting like Tylenol or, or Motrin every three hours.
32:35And so I woke up to give her her 3 a.m.
32:39Motrin, uh, And I'm like, Oh, I need to like check my waivers.
32:43And sure enough, no one had bid in a super flex league in my home league on Jameis Winston.
32:49And I was like, I don't even need him, but I'm going to do it.
32:54Yeah, of course. Just because, just because I want them to know that, uh, I'm out here hustling more than they are.
33:01And my super flex leagues, I learned that I overbid on both Mariota and Jameis after I was like, surely people are
33:08going to want to buy into this. And then, yeah, with all the injuries that are going on, like 15 extra dollars and they needed to.
33:16Okay. Um, let's talk about, you know, the Broncos running back getting better for the most part.
33:22See, there's running back room. I'm just not really sure what to do with this.
33:26I did pick up a Heidenreich, uh, at one point this week.
33:30if, if Rico Dowdle is out this week, Jalen Warren is a fringe RB one play.
33:35He's going to catch so many passes against the Bengals.
33:38So I'm, but he's also been banged up this week.
33:42Yeah, but I, it sounds like he would be, he would be going more than Dowdle.
33:47Uh, Warren to me would be a really, really strong play if Dowdle's out.
33:51And I, I'm pretty sure Dowdle didn't practice today.
33:54So it's, it's trending towards that, that way. Okay.
33:57Uh, Chris Douglas is out. Are we going to ring the bell?
34:01Because Chris Bell is looking like he's Caleb Douglas.
34:04Caleb Douglas. Yeah. Um, I can't trust anyone right now in that Miami wide receiver room.
34:09So I would just say, kind of stay away.
34:12Um, yeah, I do think that Bella is still an interesting stash.
34:15So you can go that direction and see if his route share does jump, but they are slow playing that.
34:22So I don't think you can really confidently play anyone outside of HN on that team right now.
34:27Do you think. That Willis would have performed better with this offensive line than love has because he can run.
34:34Oh, I mean, I don't think love has really been like that, that bad.
34:38Yeah. Just like he can't escape. And there's, yeah, there's not that much going on.
34:43No, I, I, I'm not going to go down that path.
34:47No, I'm not, I'm not doing that. No more Coleman for bills.
34:50Practice. This actually changed today. I just saw a tweet that more was at practice.
34:55Um, key on Coleman. I have not seen an update about him, but thoughts on trusting DJ more this week.
35:02Well, I also, so if he plays, I'm, I'm fine with playing him.
35:06It's a great matchup against the chargers. They've been horrible defensively.
35:09If both of these guys are out, Josh Palmer would be the play.
35:13And then Skylar bell is like a stash just because, you know, rookie unknown to be interesting.
35:19Also Brock Bowers was not seen practicing today. FYI.
35:22So when we talked about Brock, now it's a little bit more up in the air.
35:27Just tap me in the, uh, in the late round discord.
35:30So yeah. So be, be, be aware about that, that there is a chance that he doesn't go this week.
35:37The Raiders have been so frustrating with their reporting on this.
35:40I mean, just so this has been a W for the Twitter docs FYI, because they were like, there's no way he's coming back in like week two.
35:49And now he might not be back until week four.
35:52We'll see. Okay. Um, we, the only other thing we have left to talk about is Dallas Goddard out.
35:58We, you know, what are we doing there at a tight end?
36:02Cause they don't have Eli Stowers, Eli Stowers. They don't, they, they did sign though.
36:07Um, yeah, they're going after Zach Ertz. So that's, that's a thing.
36:11No, I mean, like, I think that we might like, they've actually run 11, a lot of 11 personnel too.
36:17They're actually second in the league right now behind only, or yeah, behind only Tampa Bay and 11 personnel usage.
36:23So I think as long as Devante Smith is healthy and active, which right now is a little bit up in the
36:30air, but it is, they, they play later in the week.
36:34So it's, it's, you know, they play Monday night.
36:37So it's a little bit different in terms of, um, you know, practice reports and stuff.
36:42This is more of a Thursday than Friday for them right now.
36:46But yeah, I mean, I'm expecting a lot of 11 personnel.
36:49Maybe we get a little bit. McKay lemon out of the slot without Goddard.
36:54That first play where he caught that pass. I think it actually counted as a rush.
36:59So it wasn't a pass, but it was for negative five yards after the negative five yards that he got.
37:05It's been, it's been a rough start for McKay lemon.
37:08It's been, but there were some encouraging signs. I talked about that on the mailbag episode today.
37:14Every player in the league has a scouting report, strengths, weaknesses, history, tendencies.
37:18But what if somebody built a scouting report on you?

38:56Call 1-800-526-7736 to learn more or visit TremphayaRadio.com. Today's data.
38:59All right. Today's data is more fun than anything else, okay?
39:03I don't want people to take this super, super seriously, but when I start to mess around with stuff, I want to
39:10share it on this part of the show and just have some fun with it.
39:15Because I think it's like, I just think I'm curious about it, and I think you guys will be too.
39:21So essentially, I built a comp tool to look at first two-week production at wide receiver and running back.
39:27And it finds comparables from players that have played since 2016.
39:30And at wide receiver, it's looking at things like, and these are all inputs that I know are relatively predictive, but this isn't a model or anything.
39:39I didn't sit here to try to find the most predictive balance of all of these traits or anything like that.
39:46I literally built this in 20 minutes. This is just something that I was just curious about, interested in.
39:52I think me and Gadula are going to do more and more of this kind of stuff over the next X number of months.
39:59But this is just something I want to share with you guys.
40:03So I have comps where I'm looking at things like week one to two points per game, week one to two target
40:10share, week one to two for wide receivers. I'm looking at slot versus out wide.
40:15I'm looking at their target share, route share. I think I said that.
40:19But regardless, I'm looking at very basic inputs for these wide receivers.
40:23And then running back, I'm looking at snap share, route share, team rush share, all that kind of stuff.
40:29And I'm finding comps to see through the first two weeks, are there any other players who match up really well with this?
40:36And by the way, I'm also layering in ADP onto this, because obviously there's still predictive value with ADP this time of year.
40:44Someone in chat said, were your test monkeys? Yes, basically.
40:47I'm just throwing it out to you guys, and then you guys can react however you want to react.
40:53It's just a fun thing. So I have like eight players, seven players, I think, that I'm going to walk through here
41:00and just show you what the comp stuff is saying.
41:03So first, Jalen Coker. With Jalen Coker, if you look at his top 10 comps, the average points per game in PPR leagues is 13.2.
41:11His top match is John Brown from 2019, who went up scoring 14.7 PPR points per game.
41:17Hollywood Brown is his second one, who is also a top 20 wide receiver.
41:21You look at his comps all the way down the list, and there's a lot of, I mean, it's a lot of good.
41:28Like you're looking at a very firm, high-end wide receiver three, low-end wide receiver two for Jalen Coker.
41:34He has a 10% chance of these comps to be a top 12 wide receiver, 50% chance to be a top 24 wide receiver.
41:42So, so far, so very good for Jalen Coker.
41:45Next one. Bashal Tootin. I think this one's interesting for obvious reasons.
41:48Oh yeah, by the way, there's one later where there's a comp that someone was like, this guy's not even real.
41:55I don't remember this guy having this ADP, but I'll bring it up when we get there.
42:00So Bashal, because I shared some of this in Discord earlier today.
42:04Okay. So Bashal Tootin, and by the way, all of the snap shares and target shares and route shares are just based on averages of the two games.
42:13It's not looking at their actual, you know, aggregate of the two games, just averaging the two numbers together, just to make this easier.
42:21So Bashal Tootin has a 20% chance, according to this, to be an RB1 this year and a 50% chance to be an RB2, which is solid, right?
42:30His top comp, though, is Marshawn Lynch, who in 2018, when he was with Vegas, he finishes the RB59.
42:36But right after that, Isaiah Pacheco, back in 2023, RB13.
42:39The one that's really interesting is David Montgomery's second year in 2020.
42:43He was the RB6. That's one of his comps.
42:46So the comp list for Tootin is very much volatile.
42:49You get some guys that are like RB4s, but then you get some RB1s in here and high-end RB2s.
42:55So it's very, I'd say overall, it's bullish for Bashal Tootin based on his first two weeks.
43:00Next, Chuba Hubbard. This is another reason why I think the market is a little bit undervalued with him, is that 90%
43:07chance to finish as a top 24 running back.
43:10Now, this comp stuff does not recognize that Jonathan Brooks got hurt and then he might be back later in the season, whatever the case may be.
43:19But there's a lot of favorable stuff for Chuba Hubbard.
43:22His average points per game based on his top 10 comps is over 13.
43:2630% chance, like I said, of an RB1, 90% of an RB2.
43:30So his comps are really strong. So he's probably more of a buy than a sell, even though I don't think the
43:37talent is that obscene with Chuba Hubbard. Next, we have Rasheed Rice.
43:41Rasheed Rice has a 10%. Now, listen, this is anchored to ADP.
43:45So when I say that he has a 10% chance, so one out of the 10 finishes a top 12 wide receiver,
43:52it doesn't mean that this is likely or that he's playing that way, that he should be able to finish that way.
43:59It's just that this is anchored to ADP. And the ADP source I'm using, he was wide receiver 12.
44:05And Mike Evans in 2020, in 2022, started slow and then finished that way as a top 12 wide receiver.
44:11But Rasheed Rice's comps suck. I mean, wide receiver 73, wide receiver 63, wide receiver 48.
44:17Like there's, there's a lot of like scary stuff on here where his, his comps have average under 12 PPR points per game.
44:24So keep that in mind. Next one. I'm going to go through these kind of quick.
44:29Yeah. David Montgomery is next. I think he's interesting because he had a really good week one, but his, his, you know,
44:36backfield share wasn't that obscene, but you know, it's a pretty solid outcome for David Montgomery based on his first couple of outings and his backfield share.
44:45His snap share is still 52% and the comps are all aligned with that.
44:49But some of these guys that had like sub 55% snap shares in his accomplice performed really well in that season.
44:56So I think Montgomery based on this would be fine.
44:59Um, I guess I didn't, I skipped over the, uh, the Chris Hogan comp.
45:03That was, yeah, that was, yeah. For Rasheed Rice, Chris Hogan, 2018.
45:07He was like a fourth round pick and people completely forgot that that was a thing for new England when he was playing for new England.
45:15But yeah, he was a fourth round pick and he was a terrible pick.
45:20Awful pick. All right. I do have Luther burden and Roma duns a here.
45:24Okay. Luther burden. None of his top 10 comps finishes a wide receiver.
45:28One, three of them finishes a wide receiver. Two, one of them was Travis Hunter last year, which is kind of funny
45:36who obviously did not finish the all that well.
45:38Um, and then, you know, you get some good ones in there though.
45:43You got Amari Cooper in 2023. He was top 20.
45:46You had a Cooper cup in 2020 was top 20.
45:49So it's not like the, you know, Stefan digs in 2025 last year who was, who ended up finishing relatively well.
45:56Um, so it's, it's, you know, not the most bullish outcome for Luther burden for obvious reasons, but versus ADP expectation is
46:03average is basically the same essentially saying that like where you drafted Luther burden, he can match that expectation.
46:09Roma duns a is not as rosy, uh, not that Luther burdens was rosy, but a duns a is not, he's only
46:16seen like a 12% target share so far this year.
46:19And none of his comps have finished top 24 or top 12 based on this data.
46:24So I thought that was interesting. And then the last one is Parker Washington, who honestly was, didn't, doesn't look nearly as
46:31good as I thought he was going to look.
46:34Yeah. Um, 0% in the top 12, none of the, none of the top 10 comps finishes top 12.
46:4012 wide receivers, 40% of them were top 24.
46:43I'm more bullish than what this stuff is saying.
46:46Uh, especially cause last week we had a better, we had better peripherals than what we had in week one, just cause
46:53it was a more neutral to negative game script for Jacksonville, but that does it.
46:57I mean, it's, it's, it's an interesting thing. We're going to do more work on this kind of stuff and come up
47:04with some cool, maybe some tools or whatever to be able to like find these easier.
47:09We'll see. But it's a, a very like fun thing to look at, you know, this early on in the season to
47:16see what we've seen historically this early on in the season.
47:20And to remember that when you have a perfect match or a close match with someone, it doesn't guarantee, you know, great
47:27production or poor production rest of season. If you have seen JJ's rest of season ranks, you know that he is more
47:34bullish on Parker Washington than this comp list. That's all I'm going to say.
47:38All right. So let's get on JJ to the main event.
47:42The late round main event. Let's look at players.
47:45I like more than consensus this week, as we do each week.
47:49First is Bryce young. Yeah. I'm a QB 14 this week.
47:52Consensus as I'm a QB 17. This is, this is pre Thursday night football.
47:57So that'll change. If you remove the court, well, I guess if you remove Jordan love from that list, it could change, but Bryce is balling out, man.
48:06Sixth and he is drop back third and fantasy points for drop back.
48:10The Panthers have a good pressure rate matchup in this one where the Browns have been kind of poor getting to the quarterback.
48:17The Panthers have been good at stopping, uh, you know, pressure happening.
48:21Um, you know, we saw him perform last week and said Atlanta defense that played pretty well against green Bay, all things considered.
48:28So I think that's another favorable data point at least, but this game in general, I'm, I'm kind of interested in, like
48:35I immediately, I don't bet that much, but I immediately bet the over whenever it opened earlier this week because the Panthers
48:42are first in pace, neutral pace to start the year.
48:45The Browns are 14th. The Panthers are first in pass rate over expected, which leads to more plays and more scoring and such.
48:53The Browns are fifth. So I think this could be a higher scoring than what we're generally expecting.
48:58But you know, sometimes when I feel that way, I have egg on my face on Monday.
49:04Maybe you'll want to put it in the, uh, the quad box, uh, coming up.
49:09Definitely not. Next we've got the running back and image Johnson.
49:12Yeah, there weren't many obvious running backs for me to go to this.
49:16There weren't many obvious players for me to go to this week, to be honest with you.
49:22Um, but Emmett Johnson, I haven't met RB 34, which is kind of crazy.
49:26Uh, consensus RB 41, but Miami is just the matchup for a backup running back where they're dead last and adjusted points
49:33allowed to running back so far this year. Kansas city is a big, big favorite.
49:38We should see a good game script for them.
49:41Um, there's been good coach speak around Emmett Johnson this week.
49:44Maybe we get a little bit more run from him and bottom line is he's looked the part so far and my gosh kitchen.
49:52I am so mad, so mad that we did not.
49:55So I'm going to say this every single week that we did not get Emmett Johnson to Minnesota.
50:01Yeah. I'm so mad. Especially. Yeah. Especially because like we talked about it on discord while the draft was going on.
50:08Emmett Johnson was such a clear, good day three pick.
50:11There was so much favorable data for Emmett Johnson and Minnesota sitting there twiddling their thumbs with Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason
50:18and Emmett Johnson, one of his comps in the zap model, speaking of getting enthusiastic and, and, uh, you know, getting excited about this stuff.
50:26Yeah. Yeah. The passion Emmett Johnson, one of his comps was Aaron Jones in the zap model.
50:31It was a perfect, perfect pick for Minnesota and they skip him and then they get the Mon Clayborne and is 185 pounds.
50:38You know, I hope it on the demon Clayborne.
50:41Hopefully we get some Clayborne this weekend now because he's a fun player at least, but Emmett Johnson is a good player.
50:48There's a difference there. Yeah. Yeah. He looks good.
50:51And, uh, like you said, there's coach speak around it.
50:54And also the more that Kenneth Walker is out there playing, if he does go down, Oh yeah.
51:00Johnson is just going to go to the moon.
51:03All right. Next we've got the second rookie and you've got Casey Concepcion.
51:07I know that Denzel Bob Denzel Boston's deservedly getting a lot of love.
51:11He's been great to start the season. Um, you know, I had him as a, this two weeks in a row that
51:18I had Boston as an ad on 15 transactions, but, uh, Concepcion has led the Browns by a healthy margin and targets
51:25per out run so far this year. He's played a lot in the slot.
51:30So he's not getting as much run as Denzel Boston is.
51:33Cause if they go into 12 conception is not playing as much, but Carolina is eight so far in percentage of points
51:40allowed to wide receivers going to the slot. So you look at all the points going to wide receivers against Carolina, the
51:47high, the eighth highest percentage of any team is going, is then going to the slot, which is where Concepcion plays.
51:54So I think this environment's not that bad. You know, I haven't ranked a wide receiver 42 versus consensus wide receiver 48.
52:01So this isn't like that big of a stand or anything like that, but I'm not going to be surprised if Concepcion outscores Denzel Boston this week.
52:10That's kind of my, cause the way like Boston's role, it's good.
52:13Like, again, you should be at you, you need Boston on your fantasy roster, but it's a more volatile role than I
52:20talked about this with Zane a little bit on, on the perspectives episode where when you get these perimeter guys, we're going
52:27to have higher a dots, you know, you're going to get these spiked weeks for sure.
52:33Like they can hit, you know, Denzel Boston week one has the touchdown, you know, obviously last week he had the touchdown,
52:40but the week one, one was even more garbagey, you know, at least last week was in a more neutral environment.
52:46Um, but like the players like Concepcion, it might take a second for them to get more routes because they're mostly slot
52:53guys, but they're the players that are running the types of routes that can score a lot of fantasy points and because
53:00you're just going to get peppered per route run.
53:03Like we're seeing right now with Concepcion, there's more volatility to a guy like Denzel Boston.
53:08There's probably a higher weekly ceiling, but this week I wouldn't be like shocked if Concepcion has the better day.
53:15I mean, I don't think it's, you know, like a hundred to zero or anything like that.
53:20I think there's like a 60, 40 chance that that ends up happening.
53:24Every player in the league has a scouting report, strengths, weaknesses, history, tendencies.
53:28But what if somebody built a scouting report on you?

55:06Call 1-800-526-7736 to learn more or visit TremphayaRadio.com. Last but not least, especially if you are a truther like I am, the third rookie, Kenyon Sadiq.
55:15We're running it back, baby. I don't know what the...
55:18Like, I didn't really have an obvious tight end to throw here.
55:22And I was factoring in the Mason Taylor thing a little bit more probably than consensus.
55:27That could be playing a role here. But no Mason Taylor.
55:30Kenyon Sadiq... I mean, AD Mitchell is questionable. Kenyon Sadiq against Detroit.
55:34That's a top three matchup for tight ends by adjusted points allowed.
55:38He's seen roughly a 20% targets per outrun rate.
55:41You know, small sample without Mason Taylor last week.
55:44He had a 67% route share. The Jets are probably going to have to be pass heavy in this game.
55:50This could be the breakout for Kenyon Sadiq. If it's not the breakout, I mean, I don't think we just give up necessarily.
55:57But I am very intrigued by what we can see from Sadiq this week.
56:02All right. Now let's move to bold predictions, starting with Jalen Knoll being a top 36 wide receiver.
56:08This one's pretty... It's a pretty bold take. Yes, very bold.
56:11Yeah. No one's thinking about Jalen Knoll. Understandably so.
56:14He had a 60% route share last week. It's not super high.
56:18They're still using him as mostly a slot player.
56:2170% slot rate. But Indianapolis through two games has been really bad defensively.
56:25And they've been especially bad against the slot so far this year.
56:29And so I do think that there's a chance that Knoll, even unlimited action...
56:33Like, I said this on the Sleeper Show. Xavier Hutchinson is probably the safer projection.
56:38The safer play here. If you want to go with him, fine.
56:42Go with him. And he'll probably be the guy who hits.
56:45And then I'm going to be frustrated because I called out Jalen Knoll instead of Xavier Hutchinson.
56:51But I just think Jalen Knoll is a really not bad player.
56:54And I want to lean into that a little bit here.
56:58And he has big playability, which is what could get him into wide receiver three status this week.
57:04I almost wanted to put Rashid Shaheed, though, here, too.
57:07He has a really good matchup against Washington. But I decided again...
57:11So if you want a third bold prediction, there's the third one that Rashid Shaheed could also be a top 36 wide receiver.
57:18Another guy that people are not even thinking about right now.
57:21I want him to be a thing, though. I really hope he's a thing.
57:26Especially speaking of once. I want Tony Pollard as an RB1 to be a thing this week, JJ.
57:32I mean, I don't because I faded Tony Pollard hard this year.
57:35I have no Tony Pollard. So if he ends up blowing up, which I do think he could this week, my teams won't be happy, at least.
57:44I do think he could be an RB1 this week, though.
57:48Pollard's consensus rank right now is RB28. That's why this is a bold take.
57:52The Giants have allowed a top 10 success rate on the ground to running backs.
57:57The Titans are surprisingly top 10 in success rate at running back themselves.
58:01The Giants are top 5 as an opponent in adjusted points allowed.
58:05And Pollard has not been terrible to start the year.
58:08Among 20-plus attempt running backs, he's 7th in adjusted yards after contact per attempt.
58:12And he's 7th in success rate. So I am going to say that Tony Pollard this week is an RB1.
58:19I just want the Titans to just show something.
58:22Show something. Although Cam Ward did have two rushing touchdowns.
58:25So there's that. All right. This is where we get to the look-ahead waiver wire.
58:30Again, this is to save you money. This is the Black Friday, the Prime Day, whatever it is.
58:35You're saving money by getting these guys now and not having to pay later, JJ.
58:40Yeah. So next week, CJ Stroud gets Dallas. If he's still out there, you can pick him up.
58:46Daniel Jones gets Washington next week. So those are the two quarterbacks on the look-ahead waiver wire.
58:51I threw Zach Charbonnet on here because there's a chance that he's returning.
58:55These guys are starting to return from IR, right?
58:58And so that's a sneaky one for sure. Week after.
59:01But Charbonnet is still out there in like half of leagues.
59:05I think that's a little bit interesting. Woody Marks, who's had a basically 50-50 split from a snap share perspective.
59:11You can add him. Tyler Algier gets the Giants next week.
59:15So you can add him. Emmitt Johnson, already talked about him.
59:18And then DeMond Claiborne because Aaron Jones is banged up.
59:22And we might get a little bit more run from Claiborne.
59:25I would prefer Claiborne to DJ Dallas, even though DJ Dallas is a better median projection.
59:30We know what DJ Dallas is. We don't know what DeMond Claiborne is.
59:34I'd rather the mystery box of the speedster in Claiborne than going with a guy like DJ Dallas.
59:40Okay. You've got Makai Lemon now. Yeah. We just talked about him.
59:44Yeah. Yeah. I mean, no Goddard. And Tuckker also.
59:47Yeah. Makai Lemon has had fine route shares. And without Goddard, I think it's interesting.
59:51It's a good matchup this week. Dontavian Wicks, you can go with him as well.
59:56We've talked about him relentlessly over the last three weeks.
59:59Trey Tucker, I think, is probably one of the most undervalued players in fantasy right now.
60:05I should have had him as an ad on 15 transactions in hindsight.
60:09He's getting a lot of run. And he is seeing an obscene number of percent of his routes with only two or
60:16fewer wide receivers on the field, which is a very good indicator of getting a higher targets per out run rate and higher target share then.
60:24So Trey Tucker is a pretty interesting player to just have on your route.
60:28I'm in a deep league where I'm starting him this week.
60:32So I don't think that he's that bad of a play.
60:35A.D. Mitchell this week, obviously, we like him. But if someone drops him for whatever reason, they get Chicago next week.
60:42Malik Washington, maybe, with all the injuries to Miami.
60:45Ted Hurst, who I talked about on the 10 Trends episode, he actually has pretty good peripherals.
60:50You know, speaking of a Denzel Boston-y type role, outside perimeter X, highly volatile type role.
60:56That's Ted Hurst, right? And if that Buccaneers offense just clicks a little bit more, he could be more valuable in fantasy.
61:03And then Jacob Cowling has a dart throw with all the injuries and stuff going on with the San Francisco 49ers pass catching room.
61:10And then at tight end, Bretton Strange next week at Cincinnati.
61:14That's a good matchup. Aranda Gadsden should get more run this week.
61:18So you want to add him before anything were to happen.
61:21And then Terrence Ferguson and Kenyon Sadiq. You can look at them with openings with Nakua and now A.D.
61:27Mitchell, but also Mason Taylor being out for Sadiq.
61:30We'll see what happens with Mitchell. At defense, I wanted to call out Baltimore.
61:34They're still rostered in like 60% of Yahoo leagues, but people might be dropping Baltimore this week because they get Dallas.
61:41But after this week, they get Tennessee. No offense.
61:44They get Tennessee. Then Atlanta. Atlanta after last night looks a little bit more difficult of a matchup than we initially thought.
61:51And then Cleveland after that. I think you could realistically play Baltimore for three straight games after this Dallas game this week.
61:58So keep them in mind. The next week's streaming defenses are really tough for the record.
62:03Very, very difficult. So looking at only the percent roster numbers and guys like defenses that are that are rostered in low number of leagues.
62:11The Cardinals get the Giants. Kind of interesting. The Colts get the Commanders.
62:15Kind of interesting. But the Colts defense has been bad.
62:18And then the Browns get the Steelers. I mean, that's how rough it is at for defensive streamers next week.
62:25But those are at least the ones that I can pick out.
62:29Yeah, we're talking about the look ahead where we are.
62:32But also another factor that we've got coming in, JJ, is a couple weeks.
62:36We're going to start by weeks. And players on buys, teams on buys.
62:40So you're going to have to start looking ahead for those.
62:44Okay. All right. Let's wrap this up, JJ. All right.
62:47As a reminder, like, subscribe, comment, sign up for the newsletter.
62:51We got the people are loving the matchups newsletter that Brandon Gadula is doing in the middle of the week.

63:04So you're going to get a free newsletter in your inbox four times per week.
63:09It's free to subscribe. Go to late round dot com for that.
63:13But JJ, now it's time to pick our quad box.
63:16Just recapping what we did last week. I don't know.
63:19We might have jinxed some things right here. If you look, the three major quarterback injuries were the three games that we picked.
63:26The Giants, the Bears, and the Vikings, and then Washington versus Dallas.
63:30Jacksonville and Denver. That was a snoozer. Yeah, we did a bad job last week.
63:35Yes, we got it. We got to pick it up this week.
63:39Week one was good, though. We did a pretty good job week one.
63:43We actually crushed week one from like a fantasy perspective.
63:46Week one was solid. You want to start? Yeah, I think there's an obvious one to go to first.
63:52I think it's Baltimore and Dallas. Yeah, I was wondering if you're going to use your Brazilian accent for this.
63:58No, I don't. I don't have a Brazilian accent.
64:01Yeah, people might not know that this game is in Rio.
64:05This is the Rio game. Yes, it's the Rio game.
64:08Yeah. So it's the afternoon game. Not a night game, but it is the afternoon game.
64:13All right. I'm going to go with Jets at Lions.
64:16Oh, my gosh. What are you doing? Yeah. No, we talked about Sadiq.
64:20Talk about I. I wonder if the Jets might be just a little bit for real.
64:25If their offense might be for real. I mean, they played like garbage against the Packers last week.
64:31So and we saw the back. They started out OK, but the Lions, we have all these all these fantasy assets.
64:38I'm going to be invested. There's interesting pieces from fantasy perspective here.
64:42All right. So you're going to go. You're going to go New York Jets versus the Lions.
64:47Yeah. All right. I'm going to go with this next one.
64:51I think I'm going to go Rams Broncos. OK, because I think there's a lot of intrigue from the standpoint of just
64:58players that we care about in fantasy. You got Jalen Waddle.
65:01You want to see what the backfield looks like for Denver.
65:05Let's see if T for can can, you know, have an encore and say with Devante Adams.
65:10I think it's going to be an interesting matchup.
65:13OK, I'm going to change my Jets in Detroit to Chargers and Bills.
65:17OK, that's a good one. Yeah. Because I want to see if the Chargers are legit.
65:22And obviously we know about the Bills. And then my fourth game is going to be the Vikings at Bucks.
65:29Really? Yeah. Kyler's back. And I just like people are saying that Baker's cooked.
65:33I don't know that. I think I think my my my pick would have been New England and Jacksonville.
65:39Yeah. That was the only other pick that I had.
65:42Yeah. Up there. But some of these games are going to be lopsided games like also like the Titans and Giants.
65:49Not, you know, not exactly fantasy friendly. Maybe the Cardinals at 49ers.
65:53You could see some garbage time and some interesting plays there.
65:56Brock Brady's been crushing it. But yeah. All right.
65:59That's our quad box. Final thoughts, JJ. No, I mean, I'm excited for week three.
66:04I think that the fantasy season's gone pretty well so far.
66:07And I'm hoping that that things keep rolling. Awesome.
66:10Well, we appreciate everyone for tuning in. We appreciate all the comments, all the likes, all the subscribes that we have.
66:17And I just know that there might be some people that have been experiencing pain these first few weeks.
66:23There are some oh and two teams out there.
66:26Don't give up. Don't give up. Now is the time where you put your hand down.
66:31You're getting those trenches, JJ, and you dig yourself out.
66:34So that's my motivation to you. Let's have a great week three.
