0:16Ringer Fantasy Football Show, my name is Danny Heifetz and I am joined by Danny Kaelin, Craig Corralbeck, and today we are
0:23going over wide receivers, rankings, sleepers, tiers, and of course at the end, as always, at the beginning of the week, quarterback hotness rankings.
0:30We're broaching the top 10 today, DK. Oh man, is that right?
0:34It's getting close. This is exciting. We're doing 12-9 today.
0:37Which when you say it is not really a good hook to stay around.
0:41Well, we're now getting into the top 10. The top 3rd hottest quarterbacks.
0:45Top 3rd hottest quarterbacks in the NFL. And again, we're coming to you all preseason fantasy season.
0:50We're going to go to four episodes a week toward the end of August so we can help you prep for your
0:57drafts and everything, and we keep having episodes into the season.
1:00So once you do your draft, stick with us either because we can help you or also we keep being stupid during
1:07the season in addition to before it. You guys want to just jump into the receiver position?
1:12Yeah, it's juicy. Got a lot to cover. It is juicy.
1:15We have a ton of receivers. There are way more than tight ends or quarterbacks, so we have to tweak this a little bit.
1:23But I want to start by just talking about the overall wide receiver position because it's actually a pretty interesting season.
1:29Because I don't know if you guys have any thoughts on receivers because I found some amazing numbers from Rich Rebar.
1:36Like generally? I have general thoughts on wide receivers this year.
1:39One, this is probably common with every year, but once again, it feels like wide receivers in a great spot.
1:45And almost every single one of these elite options is in the prime of their career.
1:50I counted how many receivers there were in the rankings until I got to one that was over 30 years old.
1:56And it's Devontae Adams who's ranked, we had him 20th.
1:59Who led the NFL in touchdowns last year even though he didn't play the final three weeks.
2:04Yes. Everyone else in the top 20 is under 30 years old.
2:08It is as deep as ever. And it's always a position I tell myself I can wait on because there's so many options.
2:15And then I'm staring at Jamar Chase or Drake London and I get excited and I bid and then I take one of those guys.
2:23But you can probably get Mike Evans, T. Higgins, and Roma Dunze in rounds four, five, and six.
2:28And then you can get a great quarterback, a great tight end, and a great running back and really round out your team.
2:35So it's not breaking any ground to say that quarterback looks really deep this year.
2:40But man, there's a lot of guys that are just smack dab in the middle of their prime.
2:45There's a lot of really good players. But I do want to note, Rich Rebar wrote this fantastic article for Warren Sharpe's
2:52website, Sharp Football, that I will reference a lot today because Warren's site's great, but Rich had some amazing stats.
2:58But I'm just going to read you this anecdote from Rich's stat about this overview of the receiver position.
3:04Wide receiver, talking about last season, 2025. Wide receivers in 2025 collected the fewest receiving yards in a season since 2003.
3:10Collected. 2003? I also like collected. Collected yards. Collected's funny.
3:13We're running the ball more. More tight ends in the field.
3:16I don't know. Well, that's the thing. So exactly.
3:19Teams, I mean, a third of snaps last year were two tight end sets.
3:23So it continues. The wide receiver position received the fewest targets and fewest receptions per game since 2001.
3:29And then even accounting for the league wide drop in passing volume because teams were running a little bit more.
3:35That the wide receiver position still received its lowest target share and lowest share of receptions, yards, and touchdowns across the NFL since 2017.
3:42It's so facto. 2025 was the worst fantasy season for the receiver position this millennium in terms of output.
3:48While the position accounted for the lowest share of receiving points scored across the league in every other year since 2000 except for 2017.
3:55So it's like the worst or second worst year for wide receivers in that basically since fantasy football has been on the internet.
4:02I would also add to that that the last two years specifically running back has been incredibly healthy and wide receiver has been incredibly banged up.
4:10Yes. Which is not usually how it is. So if you wanted to zag a little bit and kind of get away
4:17from leaning on a first round running back and going after big wide receivers, math and, you know, regression, injury regression to
4:24the mean would suggest that running backs aren't going to be as healthy this year as they have been.
4:29I agree. And DK, I'm curious if you think of that because that is the biggest picture thing.
4:35Like we're going to go in some granular to some players.
4:38But the big picture thing is in the past receivers kind of moved up the board in a lot of drafts because
4:45like all these running backs, they freaking get hurt all the time and there's timeshares anyway.
4:50This season, no matter what site you're on, people are including us are probably going to be telling you take running backs
4:57early, like take a bunch of running backs early, like receivers.
5:00They're not getting as much production as they have in the past.
5:04More two tight end sets, like Craig saying, which we can get more into like what's actually happened to the receiver position.
5:10But people are kind of going back to like the boomer era of like just take three running backs for the first three picks.
5:18And I'm curious what you think of that. Just I don't know how you look at the receiver position this year, DK.
5:24I mean, I think coming into the year, I was just thinking running back is going to be a higher priority, especially
5:31if you're in a two receiver league. If you're in a three receiver league, it changes the math a little bit.
5:37You have to kind of work a little bit harder at getting guys before you hit the cliff at the receiver position.
5:44But in general standard two receiver leagues, I think I'm still probably going to prioritize running back just a little bit because there are so many receivers.
5:52But man, those stats from Rebar are very interesting.
5:55That's kind of crazy. That almost makes me rethink my whole strategy going into the year.
6:00It does. And I think he had another take on it that almost reminded me of the economy in a way.
6:06And his point was basically that the rich receivers in terms of targets and stats are getting richer.
6:12And then the upper middle class kind of gets squeezed at receiver.
6:15And the stat he had was basically, I'm paraphrasing a little, but basically from 2000 to 2020, there was a receiver got
6:2230% of the targets in his team's offense like once a year.
6:26Like there was one receiver a year that got 30% of his team's targets.
6:30That was a huge deal, like one a year.
6:33And then last year there were four guys. Yeah.
6:35And the point being that like more offenses, which we could go into scheme and all these things that are happening, but
6:42basically more offenses are finding ways to get one guy a ton of volume, like JSN last year for the Seahawks or Pukadakua.
6:49Like some guys are just getting a ton of stuff.
6:52But then for everyone else, the I don't want to middle class.
6:56I don't know. It feels weird to call someone like T Higgins, a middle class receiver.
7:01That feels inaccurate, but there is a flattening effect on this like next tier down receivers.
7:06And we could talk today about where you want to draw the line either in real life or fantasy, but there is a big flattening effect.
7:13And the point, and we can get to this in a few minutes, but when I sent you guys this, I sent
7:20you guys this doc with all these receiver tiers.
7:23And because I kind of drew them my first draft based on our rankings.
7:27And then we kind of hash it out here on the show.
7:31This really is like us hashing it out. And I sent you guys my tier four receivers.
7:36I had like 20 names. Right. And I'm curious what you guys' first reaction to that was because I had T Higgins,
7:43Christian Watson, Devontae Smith, the Mecca, Buka. I don't know how to like tier those guys apart.
7:48You know what I mean? Like there are so many players that have these like giant range of outcomes, but it does
7:55feel flatter in the middle where there are players you can get in the third round at receiver that don't feel completely
8:01different to me than guys you can get three or four rounds later.
8:05And I do feel that more, especially with everything happening in the league, especially with like, there are guys that play all the time.
8:12And then there's like a real drop off, honestly, with the guys that aren't on the field all the time.
8:19And there's like the elite of elites. Then there are guys that are in two receiver sets.
8:24And then there are guys that rotate in because the NFL isn't doing three receiver sets all the time anymore.
8:30And I really felt like the tiering of it.
8:33I think the other thing that's interesting about this that I was thinking while you were talking is there's a handful of
8:39guys that I think people are really excited about, very clearly talented receivers.
8:43But there's a whole tier of guys who are basically deep threats, you know, players that rely on explosive plays and touchdowns to get their fantasy points.
8:51Jamison Williams, Christian Watson. I'm trying to think of a couple other guys here.
8:56Luther Purtis. T. Higgins. Yeah, Brian Thomas is another great one.
8:59It's like Nico Collins is another one. It's just there's so many guys that are reliant on big plays.
9:05When you say big play, just because there's that Rasheed Rice is getting the ball a lot of scrimmage and needs big plays and touchdowns.
9:12But then you got like a guy like Luther Byrd and who's not actually getting thrown the ball in the end zone.
9:19He needs like near scrimmage. And then there's a point Christian Watson's or Nico's were getting the ball 25 yards downfield.
9:25Yeah. Do you care about the difference or? It's just a matter of like how risky or how much risk you're willing
9:32to take on and how much variance you're willing to take on.
9:36Because like guy like Jamison Williams is a perfect example in my mind where one of the most talented players, you can
9:42see it every time he touches the football. I think Luther Byrd is very similar.
9:47It's like, man, he just moves differently than everyone on the field.
9:51So explosive. But Jamison Williams, one of the least reliable players is the DK Metcalf style of player where you're going to get these big, exciting plays.
9:59And in a lot of games, he's going to be kind of invisible.
10:03And so it's like riding the ups and downs of that throughout a season is kind of tough.
10:08How willing are you going to be to do that?
10:11And I think there's a lot of guys like that this season for whatever reason.
10:16Let's dive in. We can. And then as we go, though, I'm going to ask you guys a question.
10:22I want to follow up that thing on DK about just the idea of variance and high variance players.
10:28But with that said, tier one, I looked at this as players that you could just take as the number one receiver this year.
10:35Or even honestly, if you want to do number one pick, and I don't think it would be like insane.
10:41And I think this tier for us is Jamar Chase on the Bengals, Jackson Smith and Jake on the Seahawks, and Puka Nikua for the Rams.
10:49And again, generally a tier, it's kind of like, if you drafted these guys in any order, I wouldn't look at you like you had six heads.
10:57It's not that simple, but that's basically, we wouldn't really be surprised.
11:01My question to start is, Craig, how confident are you that Jamar Chase should be the first person drafted?
11:06First receiver drafted this year? Well, as we know, it is an even year, so very confident in taking Jamar Chase.
11:13No, he's a guy who I feel like every year I'm like, I really want Jamar Chase, and then I end up never getting him.
11:20But I think he's like still just the best wide receiver in the NFL, and when the Bengals are cooking, there's no one like him.
11:28He still has the best wide receiver season of the decade, other than that one Cooper Cup year.
11:34It is Jamar Chase in 2024, when he had 1,700 yards and 17 touchdowns and 127 catches.
11:39So, I feel that if Joe Burrow's on the field, he is the number one guy you want, and I wouldn't want anybody else.
11:46I'm looking at this top tier, Heifetz, and the top three guys, Chase, JSN, Puka.
11:51Chase, to me, checks all the boxes. I think he's the best receiver, period, in the NFL.
11:56I agree. Just like from a talent, explosiveness, skill set, run after the catch, he does everything.
12:01I still think you nailed your pre-draft scouting report on this podcast of Jamar Chase, which you said to me, and it
12:08stuck with me, and it's so true. He combines a lot of elements of Larry Fitzgerald and Danquan Bolden.
12:13Like, he has a lot of both. He's just so powerful.
12:17Yeah. Powerful, fast, elusive, great hands, and the other boxes that he checks, plays with a quarterback that absolutely adores him.
12:23They've been playing together since college. They have an incredible connection.
12:26We know this offense is going to be high-volume passing.
12:29He's also been durable. He's been durable, knock on wood.
12:33And yeah, so he checks to me all the boxes.
12:36That being said, the other two guys in this tier, JSN, had an incredible season last year.
12:41Incredible season. But he doesn't check as many boxes.
12:43New play caller on the offense. The Darnold thing, he's clearly not like a Joe Burrow-level quarterback.
12:49So maybe he's a step down from that. And then Pukunokua, with the offseason that he's had where he was in the
12:55news for anti-Semitic comments, then he went to rehab.
12:58You know, like a crazy offseason for him. I don't know how much we can play that into next year.
13:04But he's also paired with an incredible quarterback who wants to feed him the Rock.
13:09He also plays football like he's a stuntman. He's just getting his ass kicked every game in a way that everyone's receivers are.
13:16He plays like he's in the movie Jackass. Yeah.
13:18He's a jackass. He's a jackass receiver. He plays on and off the field.
13:23Puka Nakua has very little sense of self-preservation. I think.
13:26Stevo. Stevo. We should call him that. So here's my thing.
13:29With this tier, I don't think there's an argument I would be able to make to have JSN over Jamar Chase.
13:35Just because, you know what I mean? Jamar Chase is a better player.
13:39He's done it more. He has the same continuity.
13:42Same court. Puka Nakua. It's like if Puka Nakua instead of.
13:46I mean, you didn't even. I mean, again, like I joked like a couple months ago, like give me the among the elite guys.
13:53Give me the guy that wasn't accused of like biting a woman.
13:56And then his lawyer was like, that's just horsing around.
14:00You know what I mean? Like, is that a crazy offseason going to rehab?
14:04Having said that, if Puka Nakua had just been like saving puppies from burning orphanages or whatever all offseason and just like,
14:10I don't know, got the Nobel Peace Prize. And you told me all these peace prize.
14:15Yeah. If Puka Nakua got the FIFA Peace Prize and we were like, all these guys will play the full season.
14:22Wouldn't we all take Puka Nakua with the first pick?
14:25He was the wide receiver one last year. That's Scott Barrett.
14:28Our friend Scott Barrett at Fantasy Points had this great stat that blew my mind.
14:33He told me the other day it was Puka Nakua or Jamar Chase has only outscored Sean McVay's number one receiver for the Rams once since COVID.
14:41Yeah. Like generally speaking, the McVay top receiver has just always beaten Jamar Chase.
14:45And that kind of blew my mind. And again, it goes back to the Matthew Barry rule from like 25 years ago.
14:52If you can't win your league in your first round, but you can lose it.
14:56Taking the only guy in the first round that went to rehab this offseason is a little concerning.
15:02But I still do think Puka's ceiling this year is actually breaking the receiving record.
15:06Yeah. And so it eats at me that we have him third instead of JSN.
15:11Part of me does want to move Puka up over JSN.
15:14But I think it's just this is the top tier.
15:17Yeah. I agree. I think having him second is fine.
15:20There's just a little bit more risk with Puka than with Jamar Chase it feels like.
15:25Even though I guess, I don't know, quarterback health.
15:28At this point, Burrow's missing more games than Stafford is these days.
15:32Right. Right. I don't know. Yeah. Okay. So we don't need to linger on those guys.
15:37They're great. It's if you want safety, it's not Puka.
15:40But if you want to like Talladega Knights it, it's Puka.
15:43So with that said, the second tier here, we have what I call first round caliber receivers, which are a Monroe St.
15:50Brown for Detroit, who I think is the James Cook of receivers.
15:53Just consistently fantastic. He's the S&P 500. Can't go broke making a profit.
15:57And then it's CeeDee Lamb for Dallas and Justin Jefferson for the Vikings, who both had two of the worst seasons their
16:04entire careers, are both like way better considered in real life than in fantasy.
16:08We're sorry, way better in real life than they were in fantasy last season.
16:12Right. And then for different reasons, just really fell off.
16:15Starting with CeeDee, CeeDee is weird to me because he just didn't have a good year.
16:20He has his worst season since his rookie year.
16:23He didn't hit 1,100 yards. Three touchdowns all season for CeeDee Lamb.
16:27Justin Jefferson and CeeDee Lamb combined for five touchdowns last year.
16:30Like that alone is pretty crazy. Wild. Wild. CeeDee is the guy that I'm just more confident will bounce back and be incredible because he started really well.
16:39He had 100 yards in each of the first two weeks.
16:42And then he had a high ankle sprain immediately in week three.
16:46And then he missed a month. And then George Pickens exploded over the stretch.
16:50And we've always talked about high ankle sprains are like the most underrated injury along with turf toe where it's high ankle
16:57sprains are career altering injuries if they're really severe and not treated enough.
17:00And CeeDee looked better as he got back. But I don't know.
17:04A full – I just look at CeeDee and this other stat that Rich Rebar had that blew my mind is there's this like fantasy points.
17:12There's expected fantasy points based on everything happening on the field.
17:15And like how many would an average player have in this?
17:19George Pickens was third in the NFL in fantasy points over expectation.
17:22And then CeeDee Lamb is 214th. And so I'm like, okay, well, that generally is a stat that evens out based on talent and health.
17:30And so I don't know. I think I like CeeDee a lot better than Pickens this year.
17:35Yeah, I mean CeeDee's another one of those guys that he's done it in the past.
17:40We've seen it happen. It's not a projection necessarily.
17:43He just was hurt all of last year. Like that is the most obvious reason for why he struggled.
17:49I think Pickens is still going to get his.
17:51But I think CeeDee it's going to even out much closer to, you know, what you kind of expect coming into last season.
17:58Yeah, I think Justin Jefferson has the most risk.
18:01It's obvious because you still, I mean, Kyler Murray's an upgrade from J.J.
18:05McCarthy in the disaster that was last year for Minnesota.
18:08But like technically we don't know. I mean, as much as we'd like to believe the Kyler thing will be okay, we don't know.
18:15It's not like Dak Prescott or Jared Goff throw into a monitor on CeeDee Lamb.
18:20So there's just a little bit more risk factored in.
18:23But I think this is the correct tier. Maybe you could add A.J.
18:27Brown to this tier. But I think this is the perfect like guy you get at the end of the first round.
18:34Yeah. Anything else to Justin Jefferson? I think he's a locked in first rounder.
18:38Just to remind you, Justin Jefferson down the stretch because he was your first round pick.
18:43Justin Jefferson, I think maybe the most disappointing player last year.
18:46From week 10 on, Justin Jefferson was not in the top 60 receivers in fantasy football.
18:51He was outscored from week 10 on by Isaac Tesla and Detroit and Ryan Flournoy on the Cowboys.
18:56Like literally not a top 60 player. So I mean, but yeah, I think you have a bad taste in your mouth about that.
19:04But like if you look at what he's done for the rest of his career, it's hard.
19:09It's it's it's crazy. He was truthfully one of the most prolific receivers through four seasons that we've ever seen in the NFL.
19:16J.J. McCarthy and Max Brosmer did him no favors down the stretch.
19:20So I think Kyler Murray. Even Carson Wentz had Justin Jefferson playing fine.
19:23Okay. Just a reminder real quick in the four season.
19:27So he has been healthy. Justin Jefferson's been healthy five out of the last six seasons.
19:31So he's missed what he's missed time in one season, basically.
19:35And in the four years, in four to five years, he's had a target rate over 28%.
19:40So he demands targets each and every year. In those four years where he had that high of a target rate, he
19:47averaged 105 catches, 1500 yards and eight touchdowns. So I mean, not that not that that necessarily is a perfect projection for
19:53what we can expect this year, but I'm just like, he's too good.
19:57I don't want to bet against him, even if he has a question at quarterback.
20:02He might be the best receiver in the NFL.
20:05Yeah. So then I have this next tier here, which I've just called second ish round receivers for fantasy.
20:10I don't know what else to call it, but we have Nico Collins for the Texans, Drake London for the Falcons, Rasheed
20:17Rice for the Chiefs, which I have no idea what to do with him.
20:21AJ Brown for the Patriots and George Pickens for the Cowboys.
20:25Can I can I explain or can I describe the feeling of drafting these guys?
20:29Please. It's something always goes wrong during the season, but they're awesome.
20:33It's always like things are going really well for like 10 weeks and then something goes wrong.
20:38It can it can vary whether it's like CJ Stroud takes a shit on the field or there's a hamstring pull or some weird shit happens.
20:46But I feel like every single one of these guys over the last three years, they all have chunks of being really elite.
20:53It's like Rasheed Rice for 10 weeks is really elite.
20:56Drake London was like the wide receiver one last year for half the season.
21:00Nico Collins on like per game basis is like incredible, but there's always like hamstrings or things getting in the way.
21:07Neither are the Range Rovers of the NFL. They look cool.
21:10Yeah, they're sleek. They're fast. And then you're like, how much is this to fix this?
21:15It's a status symbol to have one in your lineup with that boy.
21:19The reliability. I don't know. The way you tell me the button to open the front door window is broken and now
21:25you want like nine hundred dollars and it's going to take a week.
21:29What are you talking about? Nico, I think, is one of the more interesting ones here because like I mentioned before, he's kind of a big play merchant.
21:38He relies on those big plays among 50 among receivers with 50 targets last year.
21:42He was fourth in yards per touch, 15 and a half yards per touch.
21:47And that puts him in a category of like Alec Pierce, Christian Watson, J-Mo, Jordan Addison, Pickens, Terry McLaurin.
21:53These are like the guys. Terry McLaurin is a guy we said for years is like it feels like a miracle when
21:59he catches a football just because he has a higher degree of difficulty in the way that he's used in the offense.
22:06I think the one thing the quarterback sucked that was the quarterback, you know, CJ Stroud is all over the place and
22:13couple that with the fact they drafted two receivers last year.
22:16They might get tank Dell back this year. I love and respect to tank Dell.
22:20I'll worry about that one. Okay. How about this?
22:23I'm just worried a little bit about Jaden Higgins, Jalen Noel, who both looked really good as rookies and could have a increased like role in the offense.
22:32You come in, you have a real running back down, David Montgomery.
22:35Maybe the run game is a little bit stronger.
22:38Um, I'm just like Nico feels to me, even though I think he's a great receiver, he feels a little it's a,
22:45it's nerve wracking to pick him just because it's like, it's going to be all over the place.
22:50In real life. I think Nico Collins might be the most underrated receiver in the NFL.
22:55Like when he's actually healthy and firing, like he's very similar to AJ Brown.
22:59Yeah. Like he's just an incredible dominant outside receiver, but I agree.
23:03It's one of those where if the Texans kind of look bad on offense and it's just ugly to watch, you're like,
23:10oh my God, you feel dumb for taking him when it's like the upside in this round.
23:15Like all these problems that's Craig pointed. I like the Range Rover thing.
23:19Like it is, you feel dumb if you miss in this range.
23:23Cause like, this does feel like the crux of fantasies.
23:26You kind of have to nail your second round pick this year.
23:29Cause there is such high upsides. Uh, but no, Nico is there.
23:33I feel similar about Drake London where, I mean, Nico, Drake, London, AJ Brown are all similar where they're like really big, really tall outside.
23:40Receivers that can play all over that are pretty physically dominant.
23:44They're alphas. Yeah. They're alphas, but Drake, I mean, Drake London scares me cause he was playing his absolute either easily the best football of his career.
23:52And then he hurt his knee, which the PCL and Jates where Brock Bowers had, it's a stability thing.
23:58But Drake London feels so quarterback dependent to me where Drake London with Michael Penix is awesome.
24:03Cause Michael Penix is not like a Stafford, but Michael Penix is throwing the ball downfield.
24:08Like he is throwing, he's pushing the ball deep gunslinger.
24:11Um, and he's very much like throwing alley oops to Drake London.
24:15And then like, it's weird to measure cause he got hurt and then Kirk Cousins came in.
24:20But like, if two is playing, I'm less convinced that Tua works with Drake London.
24:24Maybe that I'm overthinking it, but like I, now I feel similar to why I have Jameer Gibbs first and B.
24:31John Robinson second, where I'm my tiebreaker is. I don't want to be playing the Michael Penix recovering from ACL surgery or
24:37Tua this year on a, like a minimum deal.
24:40Like, I don't know. It's just, they're stylistically such different quarterbacks.
24:43And I don't know what happens when the offense goes snip, snap, snip, snap.
24:48That's my favorite Drake London. You know what I mean?
24:51I agree. I mean, my very complicated equation of quarterback plus coordinator plus volume.
24:55The only one who checks the box really outside of her, she writes, who has other stuff going on is AJ Brown.
25:02Where I'm like, I trust the quarterback. I trust the coordinator and I trust the volume.
25:07AJ Brown's my favorite player in fantasy football this year.
25:10AJ Brown. I think everyone's overthinking it. I, I, I, last year he was not injured.
25:14He was very upset with the offense, which again, I had 3,300 passing yards last year.
25:19Jalen Hurts getting the ball. I think everyone is overthinking how, like, whether he was hurt or just like what went wrong there.
25:26I think people are underrating how big of an upgrade Drake may is as a quarterback over Jalen Hurts at every part of the field.
25:34And I think people are really underrating, as Craig just said, how much better Josh McDaniels is an offensive coordinator than what was going on last year.
25:42And like, those are all the things that tend to raise the boats in ways that like you, you're like, oh yeah, better quarterback and better coordinator.
25:50And he's insanely motivated. He's like on a war path, basically.
25:54I, I, to, to, I mean, to prove everyone like, you know, what happened here.
25:58I, I don't know. I, I, to me, AJ Brown leaps off the page and I'm sure, I feel like I'm going to get him everywhere.
26:06Cause a lot of people has them as like a third round pick.
26:10And I think AJ Brown is very easy to be in the middle of the second round.
26:15I agree. There's more question marks about everybody else other than AJ Brown.
26:19I mean, Pickens in theory is, is rock solid, but he's George Pickens.
26:23He's the number two on the team. Right. There's a little bit more going on there, but Rice, London and Collins, I
26:30can raise questions with all those guys. AJ Brown.
26:33I'm kind of like, you could argue he should be with CeeDee Lamb and Justin Jefferson in a monorah, but I get why he's not.
26:40He's on a new team. There's technically more unknowns, but I'm closer to him being to them than with these guys.
26:47These, these five guys, Nico, Drake, Rice, AJ Brown, Pickens are all, I would say, even though Pickens is like the number
26:53two, he's kind of the alpha style wise in terms of getting downfield, mossing people at the catch point, all that stuff.
27:00The guy that kind of stands out here as a different style of players, Rashid Rice.
27:05And I remember we talked about Rashid Rice during the middle of last year.
27:09At some point, I think we were just kind of discussing it.
27:13I don't know if he's actually good. He just gets the ball in space and can run really fast.
27:19And it was nice to see our friends at Reception Perception.
27:22Matt Harmon did a write up on him recently.
27:25And it was basically the stats backup sort of our impression on that.
27:29Rice was in space, according to Reception Perception, in space on 77% of his catches.
27:33So he is Andy Reid is fucking just doing work for, for Rashid Rice.
27:37It's an extension of the running game. His average depth of target is like bottom five in the NFL.
27:43It's next to guys like Greg Doran. Like Rashid Rice's average depth of target is next to guys who are like five
27:50foot eight or just not in the NFL. And it's because the Chiefs couldn't run the ball.
27:55And so instead, they would just basically run block and get Rashid Rice the ball immediately and just hope that he could do something.
28:02It was in breakers and screens and things of that nature.
28:06Debo-esque. Yeah. Yeah. It's like if Debo had to rehab his knee in jail because he violated probation.
28:11Is he out of jail? He is. Yeah, I think so.
28:15He's out. So, yes, I think the fact that he's sort of an Andy Reid merchant and really relies on the scheme.
28:21I mean, look, this is what the numbers say.
28:24I'm not like making this up. This is according to the Reception Perception tracking.
28:28He was bad against press. He's bad against man.
28:31He doesn't separate. He's just he's really good at catching the ball and running after the catch.
28:36And Debo is a great example. But to that point, the reason, right, I don't know where to rank him is that Rashid Rice.
28:43I don't know if outside of Devonta Adams from the Rams.
28:47I don't know if any teams are more committed to getting someone the ball at the goal line than the Chiefs are to Rashid Rice, especially last year.
28:55They couldn't run. That might change because they have Ken Walker.
28:59But when Rashid Rice came back, it was like Andy Reid had just been like needed a cigarette.
29:04Like it was just he had been waiting all year to just get Rashid Rice the ball at the one yard line.
29:11It's crazy how much they forced it to him.
29:14I don't know why, but I've ended up having Rashid Rice on my team, I think, every year on one of my two leagues.
29:21And it is a wonderful experience when you have him on your team and he's on the field.
29:26Yeah. It seems like every three plays they are getting him the ball when they're in the red zone.
29:32They're like designing runs for him. Like if he is healthy and playing, he will be a top 10 guy.
29:38And again, hasn't been on the field a lot.
29:41He's had crazy knee injuries. He's had concussions. He's had suspensions.
29:44He's been a kid. I mean, he's facing a lot of allegations of domestic violence.
29:49He went to probation separately because he violated probation.
29:52Like there's just a weird, Rashid Rice is a weird mix of has made incredible mark on the field, but also kind of has not.
29:59And then also the amount of things going off.
30:02Like it's hard. It's hard. He's such a Chiefs receiver.
30:05Like he checks every single box of skill players on the Chiefs in one person.
30:10Yeah. I mean, it's so fun. I don't know.
30:12Also like they didn't once they didn't do anything like they it's just still Xavier worthy and Travis Kelsey and Taequann Thornton and Rashid Rice.
30:20I think Thornton's good, but I agree that it's just that honestly, this Chiefs room reminds me a lot of the Giants
30:27where it's it's because Matt Nagy went to the Giants.
30:30I mean, the receivers, not the Kansas City Chiefs, obviously, but I'm like, wow, this this is a group of players that
30:36I feel is unprepared to play like three receiver sets.
30:39Yeah. You know what I mean? Like how are they going to block?
30:43Like you're like Xavier worthy can't block. I love Taequann Thornton, but I don't know.
30:48And it's like, OK, it's just weird. Things get really interesting in the next year.
30:52I feel like the first three tiers are very clean and I agree with them.
30:57And then it gets murky. So I made so I just took our rankings that we had done and I chopped them up a little.
31:05I tweaked a couple of things. But so I said, yeah, so the first year is Jamar Chase, JSN, Puka.
31:11And then it's like the next year of CeeDee Lamb, Justin Jefferson, Amon Ross, St.
31:15Brown, easy. Then that tier we just talked about, Nico Collins, Drake London, Rashid Rice, AJ Brown, George Pickens.
31:21I sent you guys this next year and I actually had to give you a note where I was like, just so you know, this tier is huge.
31:30And I but I have no idea to cut it.
31:33And I put in this tier 16 people, which we certainly never done.
31:37And when you looked at it, well, I'm curious, what was your immediate reaction when you looked at how big the freaking tier was?
31:44Did you think I was dumb or were you like, I see why you couldn't cut it?
31:49No, I mean, I kind of see why. I guess you could really like split hairs and try and split this up.
31:56But it is all guys that have talent and are in interesting situations, but are either the number two receiver on their
32:02team or on a low volume team or just like a really messy receiver.
32:07So I don't there's I guess there's a world in which you could put Tet and Olave into the higher.
32:13So Tet and McMillan and Olave, I wouldn't mind putting them in the tier above.
32:17But after that, you get into, you know, it's pretty murky from there.
32:21So I can see why you just kind of group these guys all together.
32:25The way I thought of it in a way was if someone in your draft and maybe this is a good dividing line of why I divide.
32:34I didn't do Olave and Tet and Olave McMillan is the tier above this.
32:38If someone in your league took that like Ashton Gentry or Marion Hampton and instead they someone took those receivers above Ashton Gentry.
32:45You're like, OK, these guys should be like, that's a mistake.
32:48You should not have done that. But then this I mean, I don't even know Craig.
32:53Should I just read all these names? I mean, I feel is that going to be a gobbledygook to people?
32:59I don't know what to do. I think read all the names and then we can pick the guys that we find
33:06to be the most interesting that we like. So this next tier, which I felt like if you went running back, running
33:13back and then whatever happened, I don't know. And then you're like, well, my number one receiver is this, but I'm good elsewhere.
33:20You'd be like, OK. And it's Ted Oroa McMillan for the Panthers.
33:23Chris Olave for the Saints. Tee Higgins on the Bengals.
33:26Devontae Smith and the Eagles. Lad McConkie for the Chargers.
33:29Emeka Abuka for the Buccaneers. Malik Nabors for the Giants.
33:32I got to move him all the way. He's out of here.
33:36Malik Nabors is done. But Garrett Wilson for the Jets.
33:39Devontae Adams for the Rams. Zay Flowers for the Ravens.
33:42I'm still going. Jalen Waddell for the Broncos, who I didn't know what to do.
33:47Luther Burden for the Bears. Terry McLaurin in Washington, which I felt weird not having him here.
33:52Mike Evans for the 49ers. Jameis Williams for the Lions.
33:55And then Christian Watson for the Packers stuck in here because I felt weird not having Christian Watson in a tier with Garrett Wilson.
34:02So maybe that's too big. And again, I'm not saying all these guys you should take in the third round.
34:08But I look at it. I'm like, these guys do have somewhat similar profiles, if not necessarily similar styles.
34:14Who stands out the most here? I feel like Luther Burden is kind of a sore thumb in this group, maybe.
34:20I agree. We're projecting quite a lot here. I think Luther Burden and Roma Dunze need to be in the same tier,
34:27whether that means we drop Burden or raise a Dunze.
34:30But I think they need to be in the same tier.
34:34I agree. I would say DJ Moore and Roma Dunze should both be in this tier.
34:38I think DJ Moore and the Bills should be in this tier, even though he had a bad real-life season.
34:44I think DJ Moore as a fantasy player should absolutely be.
34:48I would move both of them up, make it an 18-person tier, which sounds crazy.
34:52But I think it gets to the point, Rich Rebar, from that article I was saying in the beginning of like a
34:59lot of the mega target guys are at the top.
35:02And then there's this flattening effect on, for the most part, not everyone.
35:06Most of these guys are on the field in all one or two receiver sets and they're starting.
35:12And they're either, as DK said, a number one receiver or like a high end number two on varying qualities of offenses.
35:18But I feel like the person I wanted to ask you about, Craig, was Devontae Smith and the Eagles, because we've talked so much about AJ Brown.
35:26But now you have Devontae Smith, who's a number one, a Heisman winning receiver for the first time in 30 years when he won it.
35:34And then you've got a number one. He was like the top 12 draft pick who was incredible in a Super Bowl
35:41and has been great, but has been in a low volume passing game.
35:45And now it's like, OK, I've talked a lot about AJ Brown, but what are we, how do you view Devontae Smith?
35:51And it's kind of funny that like he maybe was the best wide receiver in the history of college football.
35:57And he's now like the number one wide receiver on his team.
36:01And no one seems to really care or is talking about it that much.
36:05And there's, you could really like just be like, don't overthink it.
36:09He's now the number one. He passes. It's like, I think Devontae Smith is great when you watch him throughout his entire career in the NFL.
36:17To me, I'm like, this guy's good. He's been the number two in a low volume offense.
36:22But every time he has the opportunity, I feel like it's worked out.
36:26And the numbers back it up. If you look at since 2022, Devontae Smith has run 187 routes without AJ Brown on the field.
36:33On those 187 routes, he's basically been a top eight wide receiver in like every metric.
36:38Yards per route run, targets per route run, expected fantasy points.
36:42He's been a top eight. And then when AJ Brown's on the field, he's like the wide receiver 25, which is kind of what he's usually.
36:50So I'm like, could you just stop right there?
36:52It's like, sure. I guess Makai Lemon's there. And there's other things going on.
36:57Things have shifted a little bit. Dontavian Wicks is in Philly, things like that.
37:01But it might be as simple as just like AJ Brown is gone.
37:05When AJ Brown has not been on the field, Devontae Smith has been a top 10 wide receiver.
37:10Is that it? That resonates a lot with me.
37:13Yeah. I feel like, yeah, he might be one of the best values in fantasy right now at receiver just because there's
37:20bad vibes, bad sort of impression around Jalen Hurts as a passer.
37:23AJ Brown forcing his way out. Just can't stand being in that passing offense anymore.
37:28And everything you just said, I agree with him.
37:31I think, you know, talent wise, Devontae Smith is as good as anybody.
37:35He's just so incredible. He's one of those rare alien style receivers.
37:38His arms are like freakishly long, very smooth mover.
37:41He's literally called a Slim Reaper or Slim Batman because no one wanted to be Robin.
37:46Isn't Durant Slim Reaper or no? Yeah, but well, he's also slim and Durant was really good when he was at Bama.
37:52So I think they call him Slim Reaper too.
37:55Maybe I'm making that up. But anyways, yeah. Devontae Smith, I like this one a lot.
38:00I think people are going to be looking past him because of the team he plays for.
38:05So this is my question for you. Durant did not go to Bama.
38:09No, he was in Texas. No, I'm saying when Devontae Smith was at Bama, Durant was good in the NBA is what I meant.
38:17Yeah. I could have been clearer. 37-year-old Durant did not overlap with 27-year-old Devontae Smith.
38:21But so, DK, if I told you at the end of the season, Jalen Hurts has once again adapted to a new
38:28offensive coordinator and we should feel a little guilty for doubting this guy.
38:32And the Eagles offense is not elite, but it's perfectly serviceable.
38:35There's no question about Jalen Hurts. But that Devontae Smith has been the absolute star of this system.
38:41He's like an absolute top-tier guy. And you're like, oh, yeah.
38:44He's probably in the tier below. Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson.
38:47He's like – Devontae Smith is like the CeeDee Lamb of the Eagles.
38:51He's fantastic. He's fantastic. Or I'm like, yeah, the Eagles offense looks really bad.
38:55Jalen – Eagles fans want to replace Hurts and Devontae Smith has been incredibly frustrating.
39:00Which path do you think it is? Because I keep wondering about the talent here being outrageous and we're ignoring.
39:06Yeah. I mean, I think it's more likely to be the second one, the latter of that.
39:11But I do think if the offensive line can kind of get back to where it was and be healthy this year,
39:18the Eagles could surprise a lot of people. I think they've been a team that kind of goes where the offensive line goes.
39:25Like if their offensive line is humming, then they're pretty much unstoppable.
39:29The two big variables that it's hard to answer how big of an impact it's going to have is what does Sean
39:35Mannion bring as offensive coordinator for this team? And two, what is the loss of offensive line coach Stowlin?
39:41What's his name? Jeff Stowlin. What does that do for the offensive line?
39:45Because he's been recognized as one of the great offensive line coaches.
39:49He's a massive force multiplier for the Eagles over the last few years.
39:53And Sirianni, he hates Sirianni so much. He decides to just leave.
39:56So I don't know. I think these are two big variables that are hard to quantify going into the season and what
40:03it's going to mean for their offense. But if the offensive line does have talent, maybe Stowlin isn't actually as important as we think.
40:10And if they can stay healthy, then this offense could be a lot better than we think it will be going in.
40:17We're going to spend a lot of time talking about these 20 wide receivers this season.
40:22I think figuring out who you really want to support and promote will make a huge difference.
40:27Because five of these guys are going to pop and five won't.
40:31And the remaining 10 will probably deliver exactly where you think.
40:34And the answer to me, it's just the whole exercise makes me feel that if I can't get – so this exercise
40:41I think reflects poorly to me on the George Pickens, Nico Collins, Drake London group because I'd rather just take a running
40:47back in that group like a Derrick Henry, O'Meara Hampton, Ashton Gentry, Chase Brown.
40:52I'd rather just have running backs because there are so many receivers.
40:55Like I'd rather have all these guys – I even like Romandre Stevenson, but I'd rather have these guys than David Montgomery's Romandre Stevenson.
41:03Another person right in this group that I want to ask you, like Emeka Buka for the Buccaneers who had, I think,
41:09top five in receiving yards the first five weeks of the season, his first five games of his career.
41:15And then he had that quad injury and fell off.
41:18But now it's like Mike Evans is gone in Tampa and Chris Godwin is recovering from another injury.
41:24And I'm like, Emeka Buka is also a great player in this tier.
41:28That I wouldn't be shocked at all if he popped off.
41:31Yeah, Heifetz, you said A.J. Brown is your favorite player this year.
41:35I think Emeka Buka is mine. I think he is one of the best bets to be this year's Jackson Smith and Jigba.
41:42I go back to quarterback plus coordinator plus volume.
41:44Mike Evans is gone. Now he is surrounded by Jalen McMillan and 30-year-old Chris Godwin who's had a lot of injuries.
41:51And they brought in like Ted Hurst who they drafted.
41:54But they also brought in a new offensive coordinator, Zach Robinson, who was in Atlanta last year.
41:59And I think the big difference – a lot of what we talked about at the top of the pod was like
42:06wide receiver yards are down, passing is down. And a lot of that is because there's more tight ends on the field
42:12and there's just less wide receivers on the field.
42:15And Ryan Heath at Fantasy Points has been doing a great job writing about this, about like the impact of two wide
42:22receiver sets, how important it is when there's just two wide receivers on the field versus three and how many more fantasy
42:28points you score when there's just two guys versus three guys.
42:32The odds of you getting a target goes way up.
42:35And basically what the Bucs did last year was there was always three guys on the field.
42:40And what Zach Robinson does in Atlanta – did in Atlanta and was going to do in Tampa Bay, there's going to
42:47be two guys on the field a lot. And not only that, the way they're talking about using a Bucs up compared
42:53to how they used a Bucs up last year is that they're going to be using him in this Cooper Cup style role.
43:00Zach Robinson was in L.A. with the Rams and Zach Robinson has mentioned it saying like he's going to be the Z role in this offense.
43:08It's the Cooper Cup role. And the amount of preparation and work a Bucs is putting in, like he walked into the
43:15NFL and was immediately just like a professional. He had two touchdowns his first game.
43:19And the first five games of the season before he got hurt, he was in like elite territory.
43:25I can throw a couple of stats at you, one from Ryan Heath.
43:29The most PPR fantasy points over a wide receiver's first five games this century, Puka Nakua, Randy Moss, Emeka Ibuka.
43:35That's in the 21st century. Damn. More than Malik Davis.
43:38Say that again. Say the next two guys too.
43:41Most PPR fantasy points over a wide receiver's first five career games this century.
43:45Puka Nakua, Randy Moss, Emeka Ibuka, Malik Neighbors, and Jamar Chase.
43:48So that is, fuck, that's actually insane. And that's an important thing though, because here's the thing.
43:54That's not an arbitrary cutoff you picked. Emeka Ibuka, I think a lot of people are underrating him because he played through
44:00a quad injury because the Buccaneers said, I'm not going to pretend to know why he played through it, but while Emeka
44:07Ibuka played through a quad injury that was clearly hampering him, the Buccaneers' offensive line was just destroyed.
44:12Like the box were just dropping alignment like flies, and Baker started playing through injuries.
44:17And so Emeka Ibuka kind of had the Amari Cooper where you're playing through injuries, so people underrate your performance and start being like, what's wrong with you?
44:25But it's like, well, they're hurt, and they're trying to play hurt for their team to some Todd Bowles, and everyone doesn't
44:32lose their job, and they make the playoffs. So in a weird way, I mean, just I'll pick on Yahoo because we
44:39know a lot of the people who work there, and they won't get mad at us.
44:44Emeka Ibuka is like outside the top 50. Yeah.
44:46I'm like, if Emeka Ibuka had not gotten hurt last year, I'm like, Emeka Ibuka would be a third-round pick at worst.
44:53And so in a funny way, I know I made fun of you for this last week, DK, but Emeka Ibuka is
45:00a rookie you can buy the dip on because you're like, as Craig, as you always say, I've seen enough.
45:06Like we saw enough from Emeka Ibuka in the first five weeks that he's a legit NFL player.
45:11He's getting this role. If anything, him playing through an injury is like punishing him.
45:16I completely agree. He's like a screen. If you get A.J.
45:19Brown and Emeka Ibuka this year, like I will die.
45:22I'll die peacefully. And like, I just believe in how they will use him this year will be so much more advantageous for him than last year.
45:31He ran 529 routes last season. He was in motion on 29 of them.
45:3529 of the 529 routes he ran, he was in motion.
45:38Like, they were not using him like the star of the offense, and now he's going to be.
45:44With Mike Evans gone and with the way Zach Robinson worked with two wide receiver sets and with using him in this
45:50like Cooper Cup style role, like I would not be surprised if he's like wide receiver six.
45:55Like, I will be reaching for him this year.
45:58So, DK, is there anyone in this tier that makes you feel the way Emeka Ibuka makes Craig feel, the six to midnight, if you will?
46:06Hmm. Well, Craig, once again, has done an amazing job of convincing me that I need to get Emeka Ibuka in every one of my drafts.
46:14So, thank you for that. Not the ringer fantasy drafts, right?
46:17I think you're dead on. I don't think any of these guys give me that feeling because I think the rest of
46:24them are kind of, there's just like big question marks with everybody.
46:28Garrett Wilson's the Jets offense. I'm just like, if Garrett Wilson has his breakout 1,500-yard season, good for him.
46:34Yeah. He won't be with me. There's a world in which you could talk about McConkie in the same way that you
46:40talk about Ibuka in this new look offense for the Chargers and the Mike McDaniel offense.
46:45And I think he's very good. Like, that, to me, is the bottom line.
46:49Like, I think Ladd McConkie's a really good player and has a chance in this new offense and with a good quarterback
46:56to really take a big jump after having a sophomore slump.
46:59And then, like, the rest of these guys are all over the place.
47:03The guy I want to talk about, though, that I don't know where to land on is Zay Flowers.
47:09I know you guys are kind of down on him.
47:12I think the... He's the one who I always look at.
47:15I'm, like, surprised at how high he is on every ranking other than touchdowns.
47:20No, I'm talking about Zay Flowers. Oh, yes. Like, Zay Flowers last year, quietly sixth in scrimmage yards among receivers.
47:26He had over 12... He had almost 1,300 scrimmage yards, which was, you know, among the elites at the position.
47:32However, he was 32nd in touchdowns, tied with such greats as Trey Tucker, Tez Johnson, Torrey Horton, Marquise Brown, and Isaac Teslaw, among others.
47:39He's just not used when they get anywhere near the end zone.
47:43He's the Kenneth Walker of receivers. They just, like, ignore him after they get inside the 20-yard line.
47:48Rich Rebar, to that point, Rich Rebar, again, in short football, it a great stat.
47:53Zay Flowers has 18 end zone targets in three years.
47:56So he's averaging... He gets one end zone target a week.
47:59Yeah. Sorry, every three weeks. Yeah. And when he does have an opportunity to score, he fumbles it.
48:05Or run sideways. He just runs sideways. It's like he just...
48:08He's not... He thinks he's like Tyree Kill, but he's not.
48:11So just run north-south. I will say, I've been so frustrated with Zay Flowers last year that I'm a little worried that
48:18he's my, like, the high-fits person that high-fits hates.
48:21Maybe. I'm a little worried that Zay Flowers is, like, the guy this year we should have.
48:26I feel the same way. Strongly, I don't want him.
48:29I can't believe he's only 25 years old. I feel like he's been in my life for a decade.
48:35He's only played three seasons. Kyle Pitts has played two more seasons than Zay Flowers.
48:39It's crazy. And critically, like, who else is gonna...
48:42I mean, we don't use this often, but, like, who else is gonna be the big volume guy in this offense?
48:49I mean, it's him and Mark Andrews, probably. I mean, I don't think...
48:53Bateman's never proven to be a high-volume guy. Elijah Serrat, who's the rookie that got at Indiana, he led the NFL...
48:59He led all of college football in touchdown passes last year.
49:02He's a classic, like, not that athletic, but he's big, understands space.
49:06He's the back-shoulder guy with Mendoza. He was, like, almost like what Aaron Rodgers wishes Alan Lazard had been.
49:12You know what I mean? And so... But I'm not convinced he's gonna be on the field.
49:17You know what I mean? Like, I just... I don't know.
49:20I don't... Like, right now, it's a question as to whether he'll even be on the field as a rookie.
49:26And so, I don't know. To me, the Zay Flowers one stands out as, like, a guy that we could be too
49:33low on because of what he did in terms of volume.
49:36He had 86 catches for 1,211 yards last year.
49:39And we're not... We've barely talked about him at all.
49:42And if this offense improves under Declan Doyle, like, maybe Declan Doyle is this big variable that all of a sudden the
49:49Ravens offense is really humming again and Lamar looks back...
49:52Looks more like Lamar. I mean, two years ago, Lamar threw 41 touchdowns.
49:56So, didn't he? Like, he... Like, there is a world in which this stat that is holding us back, touchdowns, which has
50:02always been kind of a high-variance stat. Stat holding us back.
50:06The year that Lamar threw 41 touchdowns, Zay had four.
50:09Well, sure. Who had all the touchdowns then? Who stole them?
50:12Everybody else. Well, that's funny. We have no... Who scored those touchdowns?
50:16No one knows. No one knows who scored all those fucking touchdowns from Lamar.
50:20I actually don't fucking know. I'm looking that up.
50:23Who scored? No one has any idea who caught that team.
50:26I don't know. 11. Yeah, look it up. What was it?
50:302024? 2024. No one... I don't know if anyone did.
50:33It might have just been... It might be like a ghost kitchen.
50:36Just ghost receivers. Okay, here's the people who caught the touchdowns.
50:40You'll never believe it when I tell you. Mark Andrews did have 11.
50:44Rashad Bateman had nine. Isaiah Likely had six. There's no way you can convince me Rashad Bateman had nine touchdowns.
50:50Isaiah Likely had six. Justice Hill caught three. Derrick Henry two.
50:53Nelson Aguilar two. And then, work your way down.
50:56Even when you look at these numbers, you're like, does this add to 44?
51:0011, 9, 6, 4? There's no way this gets to 41.
51:032, 2. Like, that's not 44. 41, but yeah.
51:06Patrick Ricard had one. Patrick Ricard, Charlie Kohler, Tylan Wallace.
51:09Tylan Wallace. Devontez Walker. Hell, Aguilar had one. Derrick Henry caught two.
51:13Derrick Henry caught half as many touchdowns as Zay Flowers.
51:16Same season, Derrick Henry. My point is, it's a high variance stat.
51:19Maybe this will be the year that Zay Flowers breaks.
51:22Sure. I, I feel that way about Zay Flowers as Chris Olave, where I'm like, all the underlying stuff suggests that maybe he's much better than you'll consider.
51:31And I kind of don't want them. But, Olave, I just am still, I'm unmoved by him as a football player.
51:37But, the only, I'm unmoved. He doesn't stir your loins.
51:40Is there anyone else in this tier you want to talk about?
51:44Like, I agree with DK that my version of Ibuka in this tier, like, Lad McConkie is, if he can stay healthy,
51:51like, I'm like, yeah, he's already hurt, which bothers me.
51:54But, I just love Christian Watson. I was blown away by his ACL recovery and I, how good he looked.
52:00I actually kind of think he might have been played better than he ever has when he came back from ACL nine months on the dot.
52:08And I don't think that's a coincidence. Like, he'd be doing all this work.
52:12We always joke about the Alvin Kamara leg weight thing where Kamara weighed his legs and they were different.
52:18And they do that to kind of help your hamstrings because they're hamstring training.
52:22And Watson had so many hamstring injuries that he was going to this place in Wisconsin and kind of getting his hamstrings measured.
52:29And I think that helped his ACL recovery because, you know, the fear with the ACL recovery is the compensatory issues.
52:35You pull your hamstring after you come back from an ACL tear and try to play professional football again.
52:41It happens all the time. And I think Watson's recovery was aided because he had already done all this work and had all this data on his hamstrings.
52:50All this to say, when you look at how explosive Christian Watson was when he came back and how he transformed the
52:56Packers offense and then they get lose Romeo Dobbs and free agents to the Patriots and then Dante even Wicks gets traded
53:03to the Packers or sorry, to the Eagles. The Packers just have a, they have a skill set.
53:09There's no rotation anymore in Green Bay. It is, they have Christian Watson and Matthew Gold in the first rounder and Jaden Reed.
53:16Those are the three receivers and they have their tight ends.
53:19It's Tucker Craft. It's honestly, it's John Fitzpatrick, the tight end guy and Luke Busgrave.
53:24And like that's their team. That's their offense. I, Watson to me is the guy that like, if you're like, who's here
53:30shockingly could be a top five receiver in fantasy a month then.
53:34I'm like, I don't know. All Watson does is fucking score touchdowns.
53:38I, I agree. It's remarkable. He tore his ACL in January, came back week eight, kind of just looked great immediately, which was remarkable.
53:45Dude, also the, some of the numbers about when Watson's like actually like playing a lot on the field, he's so good.
53:52Well, when he, in, in games or he has above a 75% route share, he averages over 17 fantasy points a game,
53:58which puts him at wide receiver six. Like when the guy's on the field and he's running routes, it usually works out.
54:05And he checks my box, the boxes of quarterback plus coordinator plus volume now, if we believe in the volume.
54:11And all this, what does this mean for people?
54:14I think what it means is if you're in a two receiver league and it doesn't shake out that you can get
54:20like Jamar Chase or Puka, I, you know, maybe you do want Justin Jefferson because as you're saying, there's so few guys
54:27but it's like, I think at least the way I'm looking at it is I don't mind getting two or three great
54:34running backs to start because to your point, like there are so many guys we're excited about that you can get a
54:41Buka and Christian Watson and a lot of these guys.
54:44I don't know. You can, you can get these fourth or fifth round receivers or I don't know.
54:49They seem incredibly valuable to me this year. When do you guys want to talk about Luther Burden?
54:54I, you want to do that now or later?
54:57Let's do it. Let's do it now. Go for it.
55:00What are we waiting for? Heifetz is, I'm overly excited.
55:03I love Luther Burden and I know Heifetz is going to come in and be Mr.
55:08Rational and be like, this is overhyped, you know, whatever, maybe better real life than fantasy.
55:13That's all fine and I'm willing to acknowledge that but like, there's one guy every year you're just like, I'm going to
55:20be irrational about him, you know what I mean?
55:22Like, had a couple drinks at the bar, it's 1 a.m., lights are low.
55:27I'm watching tape, I'm watching highlights on ESPN and I'm like, this guy's fucking got it, you know?
55:32Like, my God, the eye test is just electric and what if he's just a Monroe St.
55:37Brown but even more explosive with Ben Jones? He's way more explosive than a Monroe.
55:42But better. Yeah. He's Jameson Williams. He's Jameson Williams I think more than he is No, but he's way thicker and like,
55:49more durable I feel like and more powerful than Jameson Williams who to me is like a snake weaving through the field.
55:55I feel like Luther Burden is like, has more oomph to him but, um, He's an insane ludicrous athlete.
56:01DK, you always talk about guys being five stars for a reason.
56:05Luther Burden is like a true five star caliber.
56:07The people in the fantasy community talk about like yards per route run and, and I'm, it's probably overhyped and you can
56:14say like, okay, cool, you picked the one stat but he is like, second, like all time on rookie yards per route.
56:21It's like Odell Beckham, him. Like, of people who just like, him.
56:25Like, you gotta just call him, just call him him.
56:28Him Burden. And then if you read like, Ben Johnson who I think is actually like pretty savvy with the media and
56:34kind of knows how to manipulate it. Ben Johnson just, I feel like, has his shit together but the stuff he's saying
56:41about Luther Burden, like, he's, he literally said he's a problem.
56:44He was like, I'm going to be a problem.
56:47He was like, the way he's approached this off season, he's been electric, he's been extremely coachable and like, DJ Moore's gone.
56:54So I like Roma Dunsley as well and I think Roma Dunsley has been very underrated but I'm just like, fuck, what
57:00if Luther Burden is the guy, you know? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
57:04Luther Burden, he was also drafted by the current regime or at least the current coach and so that could be a
57:10big difference because I remember like when they drafted him too, like Ben Johnson was so stoked.
57:16I don't disagree with anything you're saying. Poor little he's the horny place guy.
57:20It's like bonk. Yeah, it's like a bonk. It's like, all right, I get it.
57:24You're six to midnight for Luther Burden. Here's my issue.
57:27Everyone agrees with you and it's more than priced in.
57:31Like, I agree. If Luther Burden was going 80, if he was a seventh round pick in drafts, I'd be like, that's
57:37the sexiest seventh round receiver I've ever seen in my life.
57:41The problem is you have to pick the people on the board with Luther Burden are like Ted Aroa McMillan who's like
57:47maybe just a dominant number one receiver that's like could outperform Drake London or Nico Collins this year.
57:53Like Ted Aroa McMillan is an unbelievable player top six in that same draft who I don't know.
57:58Like DK, you're a draft expert here. You scout all these guys.
58:02I'm like, how much better can Luther Burden really do than Ted Aroa McMillan who had a thousand yards and seven touchdowns
58:09in his rookie year despite and then the Panthers offense got way better as the season went and then the Panthers which
58:15we have memory hold really almost beat the Rams in the playoffs.
58:19Like the Panthers were really close to beating the Rams in the playoffs.
58:23I don't know. That's my issue. I'm like, the idea of taking Burden over Ted McBillan makes me nuts.
58:29Most of the guys in this tier except for I guess Emeka, Buka and J-Mo have like done it multiple years and then we got Luther Burden.
58:37I think that's the only thing. He's going over Lamar Jackson.
58:40You have to you have to skate where the puck is going as we like to say and you know maybe this
58:47is the year that Luther Burden really breaks out.
58:50I could see it. No more DJ Moore. No more rotation at receiver.
58:54It's going to be Luther Burden. It's going to be Roman Dunsay and whoever else is on the field.
58:59There are two tight ends but and that could be by the way it could be a really good thing going back
59:06to what Craig said where maybe they just run a lot of two tight end sets with Komet and Colson Loveland and
59:13then you get more volume into Luther Burden and Roman Dunsay and it's like we're all happy.
59:18So I don't know. There is this chance that he actually outplays this spot.
59:22We don't have him rigged high enough. He's so good.
59:25Okay but where's he going next year in this world?
59:28Like what does he do? What does he do?
59:31I don't want to be against Luther Burden. I'm just like Sounds like you do.
59:36You don't know the rules of hockey but if you skate too far ahead to where the puck's going it's actually called icing and it's a penalty.
59:44Yeah look I agree it's a bummer. It's a bummer how hyped people are about him because you're right.
59:50He's very high in the rankings and I'm not going to reach for him because reaching beyond where he already is is like a double reach.
59:57So yeah it's like if he comes to me A double reach.
60:01I will accept him with open arms. But like to be honest with you like if I'm staring at Garrett Wilson or
60:08Luther Burden Terry McLaurin or Luther Burden even though I kind of like Terry McLaurin this year.
60:13I don't know Malik Neighbors DJ Moore Jameson Williams I'm like I'm fine with taking Luther Burden.
60:18I got a name for you. How about Colston Loveland the tight end of the Bears if it's Loveland and Burden how
60:25confident are you Luther Burden will be better than Colston Loveland and Loveland will be doing at a tight end.
60:31I just want to be on the Bears. He just doesn't care.
60:35Yeah. I like the Bears. I do too. It breaks my heart.
60:38I feel like you know I've the last thing in the world that I want to do is be anti-Bears.
60:44I just feel like everyone is pro-Bears and so it's just everyone's priced in a manner that I don't know I just
60:51look I look at Roma Dunze who I'm like well he's like two rounds behind Loveland and Burden and I just feel
60:58like he's probably going to have a better season.
61:00Yeah. He's got the foot thing though I think is the main issue with everyone.
61:05Yeah. So to get into that a little bit so one in the same way that Abuka kind of exploded for the
61:12first month of the season and Abuka was doing the same thing.
61:15First four weeks before he kind of hurt his foot and things got weird first four weeks wide receiver three Yeah.
61:22Like was crushing it and looked awesome and looked like that weird rookie season was over and then he had this foot
61:28injury which I can quote him talking about it this offseason.
61:32He said quote it's not from a standpoint that I'm like always in pain but the way my foot broke there's calluses
61:38in there that creates a different type of foot structure with those bones.
61:42different things that kind of shift things around so my new normal was kind of what I'm going to do and I
61:49don't think that's anything that's going to prohibit me or keep me from making plays.
61:54I'm gonna move Luther Burden up. I know everybody was like oh the new normal is scary.
61:59I don't have much in common with football players but I do I too have a different type of foot structure and
62:06Roma Dunse is running out here in four E wide shoes.
62:09What's the brand you use? Brooks? Brooks baby. Yeah.
62:12Free ad. Shout out my Brooke beasts that everyone stopped making everyone stopped making well yeah the beast.
62:17You guys see the Heifetz fours are out the beast.
62:20I have friends doctors shoe salesmen all people have been like you gotta every time I try to wear other shoes when
62:27Heifetz goes to put on his shoes he looks like he's getting a horseshoe on they have to stick a thing in
62:33Craig do you remember the shoes they used to put backseat ball in they're out of business they were called Ecteos they
62:40had ankle braces built into the shoes you gotta buy all the dead stock they were like moon boots yeah they had
62:47a clearance sale I bought like six because I was like no one's ever gonna make this product but no I dude
62:54I have the flattest foot you've ever you could ever see it's just like a chalk outline it's like my did you
63:00ever swim as a child I bet you can swim so fast I actually could swim it's like the old wooden sandals
63:07that like Jesus walked on that's what Heifetz is dealing with Heifetz lowkey kind of has a Michael Phelps body long arms
63:14and huge flipper feet exactly the same almost exactly the same except for he's more buoyant my party trick during ringer pickup
63:20when I wasn't fouling the shit out of everyone was if I chased people down on fast breaks my clopping like Clydesdale
63:27clopping footsteps the footsteps people would hear were so loud it was like the object in mirror seems closer than it appears
63:34like I remember Richie Bozik could never make a layup on me fast because he always thought I was right behind him
63:40and I was like barely halfway there he quite literally heard footsteps yeah Heifetz invented that they're just like so loud it's
63:47like front row IMAX business decision anyway so the Roman Dense thing scares me remember when Aaron Donald was coming down the
63:54pike oh my god oh my god that's what it's like my favorite ever was also the the pass oh my god
64:00I forget which left tackle it was for the Packers maybe it was Jordan Morgan I forget who it was but then
64:07Miles Garrett beat him in two seconds like a quarter of a second Jordan run run Jordan it's like fucking when Richie
64:14had a fast break I saw Heifetz picking up steam like the fucking guy in Happy Gilmore yeah I was like run
64:21Richie also because I want to take out your legs on the layup so that you fall and just kind of send
64:27a message he's not above giving you a like a like a career ending injury yeah if you're gonna foul him make
64:34sure they miss you know it so bothers me when they foul and don't miss I'm like just hit him harder yeah
64:41anyway I'm concerned about Luther I'm concerned about Roma Dunzee's foot now but it might be fine and DJ Moore's gone and
64:47Roma Dunzee is just like one of the two relevant wide receivers on the team and he might end up being great
64:54I don't know we have or burden in Loveland and Dunzee are all awesome and this becomes hard to predict it's like
65:01the Lions like the Lions or the Lions everybody was just kind of good you could just draft them all like it
65:07might be like that that's the thing yeah that's what I'm saying okay okay we should probably move on to the next
65:14tier yeah although I'm moving DJ Moore up in this the next tier is one person it's Malik Neighbors who I think
65:21is good enough to he could be a tier two guy I think he's probably gonna miss the beginning of the season
65:27I think he's gonna miss the first month maybe more of the season I'm concerned about him I'm concerned about like Neighbors
65:34returning to immediate form and so unless you guys disagree if Malik Neighbors is missing the first four to six weeks or
65:41whatever I'm not taking him above any of these people I don't want Neighbors coming off an injury with what does not
65:48look like a Christian Watson esque recovery from this ACL meniscus issue I'm not taking Neighbors over Christian Watson or Mike Evans
65:54or Burden or Abuka or Devante Smith or Dunzee it's just not the situation I want and then Neighbors I would take
66:01between the next guys I would take the upside so I think that's where I'm going to move him way down I
66:08think a six round pick someone else can take him and hold him but then this next tier here we have which
66:14I kind of thought of this that I have as requires some sort of faith in this player like big upside but
66:21it's Alec Pierce on the Colts Carnell Tate on the Titans who's obviously top four pick but he's a rookie Jordan Tyson
66:28on the Saints who's a rookie already a little banged up Corleton Sutton on the Broncos now that the Broncos have Jalen
66:34Waddell DK Metcalf on the Steelers which is Aaron Rodgers reuniting with Mike McCarthy a decade later Michael Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr.
66:41on the Cardinals I will go to my deathbed at making sure we have Michael Wilson higher than Marvin Harrison this year
66:48I have some thoughts on that Ricky Parasol on the Niners Brian Thomas and Parker Washington on the Jaguars back to back
66:55because we don't know what to do with them Quentin Johnson on the Chargers Jordan Addison in the Vikings and Chris Godwin
67:01in the Bucks I think all those guys we could quibble with it but I'm happy to move some guys out of
67:08this tier if you don't like them but DK hit me with your Michael Wilson take this is less of a take
67:15and more of just a like look at the numbers and tell me that this doesn't worry you type of deal because
67:22Heifetz might just ignore this and hand wave it and that's fine but in the five games where Marvin Harrison did not
67:28play last year Michael Wilson averaged 21 points per game he had a 32% target rate he averaged nine catches on 13
67:35targets almost 14 targets and had 119 yards per game those are the five games he was number one receiver in the
67:42NFL in the five games in which Marvin Harrison was not playing in the other 12 games in which Marvin Harrison did
67:48play he averaged six points per game he had a 14% target rate two and a half receptions per game on five
67:55targets and 34 yards per game what the fuck do we do with this guy did you guys see the photo of
68:02how big Marvin Harrison got he's bigger he looks like AJ Brown so big receivers don't need that kind of strength I
68:08don't look at DK Metcalf look at AJ Brown it's fine I think he looks insecure because he sucks he looks like
68:15the after in Captain America he's so pissed at how Heifetz is talking about him that he's been lifting just like listening
68:22he's like I'll get even bigger I'll do it again the goofy meme I'll do it again again his arms you don't
68:28catch football with your fucking biceps I don't understand maybe he'll try it has been kind of an issue him getting out
68:35muscle at the catch point maybe he does actually need to get stronger but that's my concern is that to me it
68:42adds to the perception that he is getting out physical that he can't get open and they're like well he's a physical
68:49power guy he needs it but you're adding this kind of muscle I don't know I don't think that's necessarily a good
68:55sign that he's getting I mean look it's not bad that he's getting ripped but I'm concerned that he's getting ripped because
69:02I think it underlies a concern in the process are you saying that in this tier of guys that Heifetz just listed
69:09out if you had to pick one I probably would of guys that I think could be in the top 10 I'd
69:15probably pick Brian Thomas over Marvin Harrison and that's probably it yeah because just based on pedigree based on like name and
69:22where he went in the draft and I think he was talented like coming out like I'm not going to just completely
69:29deny that he looked like he he was awesome in college and I think he could get back to that point but
69:35it is a big projection I don't think Michael Wilson's going to be a top 10 receiver this Brian Thomas to me
69:42was he was like what the fourth best receiver in fantasy two years ago and then they miscast him and he had
69:49an injury and it was a little bit of it was just a bad situation he said he was in pain every
69:55time he ran and you saw it and I'm like he's the most obvious bounce back guy to me Brian Thomas I
70:02just like the idea that he's going to be a seventh round draft pick because people hate I don't know it's it's
70:09to me he's just purely out of principle like you bet on those people over you know Jordan Addison but the other
70:16yeah I mean there's Parker Washington I don't know I like him a lot in real life but he led the team
70:22in receiving yards after Brian Thomas got hurt but I don't know if I want to bet on him I think he'll
70:29be a useful fantasy player not a superstar in fantasy yeah I have Quentin Johnson if you're listening to us talk about
70:36Lad McConkie and the charges and you're like well he's always hurt let me tell you something if Lad McConkie misses time
70:42Quentin Johnson on crossers on a Mike McDaniel offense he did improve catching the football this year my biggest ick is receivers
70:49who cannot catch the football he's not elite at it but Quentin Johnson did improve I think he's an average catcher he
70:56received the ball letter he's a below average catcher but he did improve which is it's important to not be the worst
71:02in the league at something he was terrible I do think that is a player who on a weekly basis if Lad
71:09is missing time I think Quentin Johnson also leaps off the page this stat I know look this isn't probably he had
71:16the same amount of touchdowns last season as Jamar Chase like what dude I'm telling you man there was a stretch where
71:22he was doing it like every week he didn't even play a full season last year he had 14 he had 14
71:29games he had 8 touchdowns which is the same as Jamar there's something to again coming back to the principles where we
71:36have to remind ourselves you see the names on the page and you're like okay but who are the quarterback who the
71:43play callers how do we feel about the offense and we're talking about I don't love the Cardinals this year maybe that's
71:49stupid of me but I we're talking about Brian Thomas where we love Trevor Lawrence and we love Liam Cohen we're talking
71:56about Quentin Johnson where we love Justin Herbert we like Mike McDaniel and the other guy is Ricky Pirasol where it's Brock
72:03Purdy and Kyle Shanahan and Mike Evans who always miss his time and I think Ricky Pirasol he's missed a lot usually
72:09goes well he's had five games or he's had more than five targets but he's averaging 92 yards a game when he
72:16does that once again I feel like I've been mentioning a lot of guys who had a great first month and then
72:23got hurt that was also Ricky Pirasol first three season I totally agree and this is again coming back to like why
72:29I feel really I think you do want dudes from this tier as well because you're not going to be able to
72:36get everyone from this top one but I mean if you can round out your receiver room with Ricky Pirasol and then
72:43whoever Fletcher but I would love to get Ricky Pirasol and Ryan Thomas I have a signing for 30 million a year
72:49he's the first one on this list why is he so high I am getting I rubbed the wrong way by his
72:56contract I don't know the Alec Pierce sweepstakes pissed me off is it because he's a white receiver yeah maybe I just
73:03kind of like to be honest the guy who I'm kind of curious about is Josh Downs on the top of the
73:10I I didn't know what to do with him either who I'm like yeah Michael Pittman's gone and I feel like everyone
73:16was talking about last year how actually secretly good Josh Downs is and it didn't really work out but I'm kind of
73:23like he wasn't on the field enough now yeah and now I'm like well Michael Pittman's gone Alec Pierce is hurt Josh
73:30Downs is fucking good I like where your heads at Josh Downs quick how old do you think he is 25 26
73:3624 he turns 25 soon he's the he's the Jaden Reed of the Colts he's a guy who every time he touches
73:43the ball something good happens you just know he's good but then they don't play him they haven't played him on two
73:50receiver sets and I think that's going to change this year just like Jane Reed and guess what he's about not playing
73:56in three receiver sets again rich rebar incredible stat Jane Reed who's been in the NFL for how three years I think
74:03he's actually played three seasons Jaden Reed in his career has run eight routes from one or two receiver sets he's just
74:10been the third guy but I do think that will change because I don't think it's going to be Christian Watson and
74:16Matthew Golden and like a hundred percent of the two receiver sets of the Packers I think Jaden Reed is going to
74:23be rotating in way more but yeah he's been a purely slot receiver because he's he's a smaller guy Jaden Reed is
74:30I mean he's bigger than Josh if what you say is true Heifetz and they do rotate him in on two receiver
74:37sets like he's ranked way too low I love Jaden Reed he's a good example of it should be more than a
74:43tiebreaker if you randomly love a designing and trying to get him the football because they trust him to execute and finish
74:50block and I love that about him and I think last year he also good quarterback and the scheme is good exactly
74:57and yeah play caller quarterback volume it's the kind of season I don't mind betting on in this tier where you're like
75:03Jaden Reed is going one Jacoby Myers and the Jaguars who's just like the rug that makes the room fit together for
75:10the Jacksonville offense and kind of almost allows everyone to play the roles that succeeds Makai Lemon on the Eagles who I
75:17of shout out Sam he was oh yeah I don't listen to you guys talk about fantasy anymore I just like hanging
75:23out with you guys but like Heifetz recommended Matthew Golden and completely fucked me well fuck me too yeah Matthew Golden is
75:30it's worse than being dead to me like Xavier Worthy is right next to him Xavier Worthy is dead to me Matthew
75:37Golden is worse where he made like he had one game where he's good he's gonna be good still yeah Xavier Worthy
75:43is just like not my type I just I'm just not interested when you spend so much time being like well it's
75:50not just that he's really fast and small and not big enough at the NFL level and then like running into Travis
75:57Kelsey on your first touch of the season hurt you for the whole year I yeah I honestly it's just Andy reach
76:04has been looking for this new to Sean Jackson Tyree kill forever and like me cool hardman Xavier where the only speed
76:10guys just chasing the past and it's like it's actually kind of sad it's not going to I he's a speed stir
76:17I didn't see any of that really translate to deep perceptions in college like he was way more of a catch and
76:24run run after the catch like basically the way that they use Rasheed Rice in this offense like get him in space
76:30and let him run after the catch it was hard because he had a broken hand in Texas and the quarterbacks at
76:37Texas had iffy deep balls it was Quinn Ewers I think was constantly just like under throwing him and whatnot and so
76:44it made it yeah it was like Kenny track and honestly it's a real Matthew Goldenworthy you're next to each other for
76:50this like that reason guess what throwing deep the last like two years yeah it's been weird so anyways that's my the
76:57only theory I have on worthy is if in where he could be drastically underrated here is is if they just use
77:04him in the Rasheed Rice role which probably won't happen the only other person for this tier that might be underrated is
77:10Jalen Coker for the Panthers is good this next year though which is clearly guys who might not get drafted are like
77:17the last guy on your roster which again philosophically I always go upside and someone I can cut or could be great
77:24you know is there anyone here because it's those kind of guys or Khalil Shakira or the Bills and Romeo Dobbs or
77:30the Patriots where like veterans who make you feel safer for having had them but maybe not will transform your season which
77:37do you guys lean toward the end of the draft and who's the person that stands out to you here I like
77:44Antonio Williams in this group does this like a potential sleeper just because he could end up being the number two receiver
77:51on the rookie receiver drafted by Washington we'll keep rookie receiver second half of the year maybe keep an eye out for
77:57that and then if you're really like if you want a floor play guy like you just want to if you have
78:04high variance receivers I think Khalil Shakir can be that for you like plug him in he'll get you nine or ten
78:11points that's not necessarily going to win you a league but if you miss on the first wave of receivers he could
78:17be a guy and then yeah I mean the rest of these guys are pretty super super high variance like Casey Concepcion
78:24I love but he's on Cleveland not really sure how that offense is going to look I know A.D.
78:30Mitchell has been getting a lot of buzz this offseason we'll see how that goes that is my guy in this like
78:36yeah talking about high upside you're like no one doubt A.D.
78:40Mitchell's an incredibly talented guy that was drafted in the second round that teams are just again he did the ditch the
78:47ball at the one yard line thing you know what I mean where he celebrated too early but he's a playmaker that
78:53is an explosive incredible he's an incredible athlete and as DK's moves different he does he's an incredible separator and look if
79:00I'm going to bet on the jet Geno Smith's second tenure on the jets 12 years do it with like my last pick A.D.
79:07Mitchell instead of Garrett Wilson with my fourth pick but if the jets are good and you believe in the jets I think A.D.
79:15Mitchell is the guy on all this group outside of maybe Stefan Diggs signing somewhere and being great I'd be least surprised by A.D.
79:22Mitchell just 70th receiver I've capitulated if you guys disagree I don't know I just think there's no way he's not going
79:29to play over he cannot play over Parker Washington or Jacoby Myers to Brian Thomas now if there's an injury maybe that's
79:35the obvious answer what in a corner you know he's recovering from an LCL injury to his knee so the problem is
79:42are you going to play offense defense and rehab when offense defense didn't work last year he's gonna play defense this is
79:49not an inspiring list I mean I might look at like Casey Guns M.C.
79:53on his first-round wide receiver you can get him outside the top 150 maybe you're taking shots like that Jalen Naylor Cleveland
80:00Browns we have a legal obligation to remind you Jalen Naylor on the Raiders they don't really have a number one wide
80:06receiver but Jalen McMillan on the Bucks might be the number two on that team these are dart throws yeah I like
80:13that one I think he's good we complain so much about a dynasty trade this year with Jalen McMillan that the way
80:20the universe works Jalen McMillan will probably be pretty good but yeah overall I think the answer so just looking back now
80:26after having done this and Brandon I you please but after having done this now does it change anything about what we
80:33said in the beginning of a receiver strategy because I'm still at the point where I want a lot of those middle
80:40class guys and just throw darts and try to get lucky and get and hopefully you know Ibuka Christian Watson are one
80:46of those guys you get the breakout ascending guy but I I want that middle class but I don't feel like I
80:53need two receivers in the first three downs or something I don't feel that way at all I agree I think like
81:00round four five six you can go receiver receiver receiver and be fine DK yeah I agree with that but also having
81:06Jamar Chase is awesome so I might do that if you can get the elite guys that are getting like you know
81:13that are just could truly lead the NFL in one of those categories are getting like a third of their offense then
81:20yes but other than them I agree it's not feels like yeah if you're going off of last year this is just
81:27I didn't do the research on this I'm just like going off the top of my head but like it feels like
81:33the best players players to pick last year were guys like Jason where you got him a little bit later and he
81:40had this elite breakout Jason pickings handful of other guys where no one was really expecting that much and then they just
81:47were absolutely just dominating and there's fewer I think we'll talk about it in the running backs but I think after you
81:53get outside the top however many running backs it's like a hellscape but if every if every fantasy people seem to fantasy
82:00analyst seems to agree that this is the right strategy is the actual answer in a 10 team league if you have
82:07the 10th pick to get like huh CD Lamb and Justin Jefferson are here that's weird and you take both of them
82:13and then while everyone else is taking all these receivers that you don't know the difference between then you I think that
82:20is a key point that is worth keeping in mind is the receivers have been way more injured than running backs for
82:27two years in a row it's been very unlikely yeah yeah we're getting like we're still getting like 16 games out of
82:33McCaffrey 16 games out of Derrick Henry stuff that is you know Saquon Saquon it's yeah the levy might break good point
82:40okay let's get to the real rankings here yeah fuck yeah our next installment of the hot quarterback rankings baby yeah for
82:47those who don't know we asked all seven of the women who listened to our show to rank the hot quarterbacks hottest
82:54quarterbacks in the NFL and they did rank them top 32 top 40 everything so hundreds of the seven sent in their
83:00spreadsheets they sent in comments they sent in you know editorial on on why they like these guys whatever it's great so
83:07to remind you about some of the people did not make the list the people who just missed the cut from all
83:14this are like Jared Goff Fernando Mendoza Kirk Cousins Drake May they missed 16 the players we've revealed so far 16th was
83:20Jackson Dart aka the NFL's hottest fuck boy Dart number 15 was Tyler Shuck of the Saints Wonder Bread looking ass number
83:2714 was Jaden Daniels highly underrated great hair great smile emanating aura skinny though very skinny 13 was Brock Purdy who Craig
83:34ranked 8th and DK had 32nd I was being a little too 10th yeah okay 30th is out of control out of
83:40control but okay beauty is in the eye of the beholder Craig wow you know we're gonna have to revisit it's probably
83:47because he probably is fearing that there's a DK in theory could this list list or not is he on this list
83:54or is he 27th I don't know you think yes or no I think no I think yes ooh well there's only
84:00one way to find out is is this pick is he number 12 do you think he is no he's not not
84:07God damn it Bryce Young quarterback for the Carolina Panthers is your 12th hottest quarterback for the 2026 season he to me
84:14he's the cutie patootie not Brock he and a wittle wittle boy but so mean there was a real differentiation on people
84:21who knew how tall he was so someone said top three based on looks alone and I like the phrase unexpectedly dreamy
84:27look at he looks good he's got the monotone suit with shirt looks good he's nice looking and despite great smile someone
84:34did you show the Mina Kimes photo because that one's kind of infamous so but a few of the comments of Bryce
84:41Young cutie patootie for now but he has an amazing smile and could be aging like a fine wine his baby face
84:47will serve him well in pretty good handsome I was say comparing him against other quarterbacks he's short the average man he's
84:54the average height and so this is another example of how women notice things that I do not this one Bryce Young
85:01very hot but needs to shave his chin cushion or just commit to a beard chin cushion he's got the chin cushion
85:07so this was a big mark that I think held more so than the height what women were upset and why Bryce
85:14Young is not higher because I do think just the headshot is very high on this list women kept bringing this up
85:21hot but marred by poor grooming decisions and then someone else summarized this very well Bryce Young excellent smile strong hairline great
85:27cheekbones kind disposition Bryce not quite a goatee just a puff of hair exclusively covering their chin why do men grow this
85:34why do they think it looks good it needs to connect to some other part of your facial hair couple thoughts couple
85:41thoughts one I chin strap and that's like a real thing is a nice buffer in between that can he not grow
85:48the rest of it looks like he's got stubble there looks like he could grow it yeah I won't tell you where
85:54these people are ranked if they're on the rankings or not but no for I had Bryce Young 8th on my list
86:01where did you guys he was I had top 10 11th for me you had him 13 oh did I yeah I'm
86:08okay with that well it's the 12th so yeah everyone else so we were pretty much matters to me that all these
86:14other guys are like 6'6 and he's 5'10 like I docked him for that if everyone was equal height I should think
86:21Bryce Young is very high on this list yeah but I as I am 5'10 and being around men who's 6'5 is
86:28incredibly intimidating from this perspective and so that I kept that in mind like he's my height and I know how I
86:34feel around 6'5 guys speaking of which I need to remind people if you're tall if you're listening 6'5 the funniest thing
86:41you can do at a party is tell other men you're 6'2 because they start freaking out no way you gotta be
86:48like 6'8 no I'm 6'2 so you're like I'm 6'6 feet and you're like no you must be 5'9 and then they
86:54just flip so anyway all right number 11 on the hot quarterback rankings I just realized something about this group number 11
87:01is drumroll Matthew Stafford quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams Wow I don't know about this Craig doesn't like Stafford he's not
87:08a Stafford guy I don't know he's 11 on this list he's 11th on his quarterback I feel like he's higher or
87:15lower he's ruggedly handsome I think he should be lower so it's the daddy energy it's the girl dad energy the daddy
87:21energy yeah there you go look at girl dad energy good and also if you're listening put this on Netflix right now
87:28let's be clear put us put us on Netflix you can actually we have photos of these guys up Stafford okay I
87:35couldn't believe how many people put this comment in Stafford looks kind of like a handsome Elon Musk oh my god more
87:41than three people said that is that a compliment or don't know that can't be good to me doesn't sound good but
87:48okay I love this one I have heard that women like Matt Stafford but I could go to any gas station in
87:55my hometown and find a man who looks exactly like him okay which maybe that's the appeal yeah but did they have
88:01200 million dollars that's there you go so this out of every player we've had I was most shocked the quantity of
88:08people I can't tell you how much women commented on Matt Stafford's teeth I mean he has veneers it's very clear but
88:15I'm saying more women mentioned his veneers than did not mention them like it read to the comments well if this guy's
88:2111th I need to hear why he's so hot I need the comments to tell me why so the comments definitely eligible
88:28for daddy status but somehow still just a cute boy after all this time Stafford in his younger days definitely a no
88:35but he's aged well he has that salt and pepper dilf thing going yeah yeah he's got the right look he's ruggedly
88:41handsome someone said Stafford looks like a country music star but not in a republican way oh that's really good he does
88:48kind of have Blake Shelton energy he does like yeah just I don't really yeah you listen to him for 10 years
88:55and realize you don't know anything about him somehow the if he someone said if Stafford wore a hat I would do
89:02it sober yeah I agree he looks much better than a hat uh one of the backwards cap yes that that backwards
89:08cap is the best look for him that's he's got a good chin and he's got the big teeth so when the
89:15hat's on it's working the big teeth I can't tell you chompers so literally someone said mega chompers someone said would be
89:22higher without the veneers yeah what do his old teeth look like you don't want to know I'm looking at where did
89:28his old teeth go baby horses probably normal uh yeah it's good that he got these yeah so Natalie from I want
89:35to shout out Natalie from Chicago yes in the pick Natalie from Chicago wrote Stafford full head of salt and pepper hair
89:42stubble girl that energy cannot distract from the fact that he's some of the most egregious veneers I've ever seen famous people
89:48please stop messing with your mouth I beg you I couldn't believe how many women brought this up Stafford Stafford is aging
89:55in the same way that Tom Brady aged where you look at pictures of Brady when he was young he's like baby
90:02fat kind of like yeah yes probably drinks too much or whatever and and then now Brady looks like a fucking male
90:08model I think yeah I think Stafford he's like way better looking now than he was like I agree with that I
90:15mean you look at year one Stafford and he looks like the funny guy in the frat yeah and now it's like
90:22he figured out the facial hair situation perfectly he's got a great kind of stubbly beard good chin looks great in a
90:29hat and I did the teeth and the hair like look him right there with the beanie looks great but I think
90:35just like on the street no hat he's 11 feels high but okay I thought that was high it's it's the higher
90:42I've got him I've got him pretty high I've got him seven seven oh my god I'm middle class of quarterbacks of
90:49this list are not great all right who's 10 who's 10 the 10th hottest quarterback entering the NFL season Baker Mayfield for
90:55the Tampa Bay Buccaneers see see this guy's all fucking aura it's all it's all energy it's all behavior based you know
91:02we talked about anchoring last last episode where if you see the wrong picture of Baker Mayfield the first time it's fucking
91:09over but if you see him in a good a good picture yeah like to me there's no quarterback in the NFL
91:15that has a higher wider range of what he looks like in any given photo yeah also you want to talk about
91:22great beard like really figured out the beard oh yes yeah he's got good beard yes the beard the aura thing Craig
91:29it's all vibes in aura he's top 10 for me just because he's fucking cool and he and you feel that that
91:35really is the answer what it comes down to is people are literally the answer is basically a range of seems like
91:42he'd be a great hang or a great date or a great night yeah it's basically the uh like he i want
91:49to go out and hang out on his boat yeah that's so weird someone did say that actually the guys want to
91:56hang out with him and girls want to go on a date with him like i feel like he has that energy
92:02where he satisfies both so on that note i want to shout out maddie who i believe was the only or at
92:09least the first we did have hundreds of these maddie i believe was the only one she had baker mayfield first wow
92:16and maddie said is this his actual wife maddie said baker's the hottest quarterback there's the physical he has great thighs and
92:22overall kind of ruggedness i like baker's tony soprano inspired shirts to me baker has this intangible that really sets him apart
92:29baker mayfield is the guy you dated in college that was charismatic but would every once in a while end up at
92:36the drunk tank yeah i don't know if that's toxic for me see baker mayfield you know how there's like uh the
92:42comedian that spawned a thousand whatever like frauds well hyphens what's the expression you always say oh one great comedian inspires ten
92:49thousand bad comedians yeah to me this is like we are actually giving people bad advice by telling you that baker mayfield's
92:56hot because so many people are going to try and emulate what baker mayfield's like thing but you can't fake the aura
93:02and confidence and swagger that he has it's who he is like to me he's the guy that like in the fraternity
93:09and college where they're they're all douches baker's the one that's like secretly nice when you sit next to him in class
93:16so someone said short king but great smile and i feel like he'd ask me a lot of questions on our first
93:23date where did we have baker and even in short king what is he like six feet yeah six feet yeah five
93:29yeah fake we didn't we had baker eighth yeah so one woman put baker 20th with a hat and then 25th without
93:36a hat okay i thought was so funny the other one i dude someone wrote baker mayfield bad boy has lived a
93:43little gives a jesse pinkman douchebag boyfriend kind of little and then she wrote baker should get tattoos like baker could wear
93:49like you know like the guys used to tuck the cigarettes inside their sleeve like baker could get away with that he
93:56has like the greaser energy he should have that with a tribal tattoo he's got like the all right all right all
94:03right yeah he could have been in dazed and confused he could have been in the outsiders he's i would say like
94:09traditionally he's not like the hottest guy in the world but everything else around him works and then also i think that
94:16he has this devoted husband father thing going on like he's like you know he's kind of like he's the reformed i
94:23can fix him like he got you know he's like grown up once again the comedian that spawned a thousand bad comedians
94:29now i i want you to look at this photo and i want i want to read this comment to you because
94:36there's one photo comment about baker that just broke me i don't know why this hit me so hard but it says
94:43baker mayfield looks like he's from boston okay and i don't know why where is he from baker is from texas austin
94:50texas every quarterback i believe literally a quarter of all quarterbacks are from texas i like that homie from dallas stafford from
94:56austin or dallas like they're all from kyler's and they're all from the same four-hour circle in texas baker mayfield you know
95:03who he kind of looks like is and i don't know the name of the actor he's the guy who's in the
95:10avengers he's like the winter soldier or bucky yeah bucky oh you're talking about sebastian stan yes he kind of looks like
95:16that guy yeah i see that anyway he to me is uh the fact that he was like playing scout team defensive
95:23end for the panthers at one point safety but yeah and whatever he was playing defense on the scout team i think
95:30he looks good he looks better with longer hair i feel like the bigger beard more hair on him works he also
95:36looks it works with the headband specifically not even just the hat i feel like the headband plays with baker it is
95:43weird he doesn't have tattoos in my mind's eye baker has tattoos he's got a lot of shit on his head complimentary
95:50yeah right you like that you love that yeah uh all right you guys ready it's not shit on your head performative
95:56it's shit on your head he it's actually useful that's true yeah are you guys ready for number nine we're single digits
96:03now the ninth hottest quarterback in the nfl season are you ready say trevor lawrence don't completing our run of four consecutive
96:10number one draft picks a quarterback it is caleb williams oh okay for the bears four straight number one quarterbacks caleb williams
96:17ninth hottest quarterback so we got him in this range we have him 11th the consensus with caleb is basically incredible skincare
96:23routine very secure in his masculinity great for sure sure yeah i think that's all very fair he has a kind of
96:30a gen z quality to him not a devil make hair not afraid to wear a dress you know he has a
96:37harry styles freeness to him right right that that works and is rare in an athlete i that not everyone can get
96:43away with that you know he owns it which i thought someone summarized really well with the only comment on caleb williams
96:50being scrumptious that would killed me yeah oh my god someone just said i know that caleb williams smells amazing i know
96:57it yeah that's that's really funny yeah he's playing he's putting on cologne before the game so funny that's just polite craig
97:03yeah uh i do think i think when he has shorter hair tighter beard looks good yeah sometimes the beard can get
97:10unruly you know and that only works for a certain type i feel like when he keeps that beard kind of manicured
97:17looks good i kind of i think uh he has a somewhat similar vibe to baker mayfield where it's like the the
97:23devil may care like fuck you i am who i am he's comfortable yeah in his own skin right or as someone
97:30summed it up really well uh caleb williams way more hot now that the bears are pretty good well you know what
97:37turns out winning matters now it's kind of working that's uh so what we're learning a little bit here is that aura
97:44plays big time aura plays yeah it's it is it's your your vibe attracts your tribe i think that is uh what
97:50we're learning yeah i mean baker and and caleb are nice looking guys but also the the aura and the comfortability they
97:57have within themselves they feel like elevates them yeah so any any so caleb williams baker mayfield matt stafford and brace young
98:04that's 9 10 11 12 it is four consecutive number one picks not that that matters uh i well it kind of
98:10does matter you know like the idea that they're hot the number one pick in the draft it is interesting i kind
98:17of want to go back and just look at every quarterback class and just rank them by hotness and see how often
98:24the number the first quarterback taken was also the hottest quarterback so did i tell you guys that some oh wait someone
98:30emailed in this theory i'm so i'll pull up the whole oh yes i found it okay this is from matt oh
98:37i didn't read this to you guys this is perfect m bone matt wrote an email i don't eat breakfast because i'm
98:44not in grade school that's fuck you matt all right damn that's actually a great answer kind of respect but yeah so
98:50funny what about when you're on vacation you gotta eat breakfast on vacation it's the best breakfast vacation for fun breakfast for
98:57fun breakfast on vacation to me is great because you're just like on a beach vacation uh he's drinking whatever like if
99:04you're in the woods if you're in the snow like waking up like i feel like when i'm in a hotel my
99:11calories don't count i'm having pancakes bacon eggs it's great yeah uh i'll yeah i do you guys you know what jackie
99:17needs something to eat for breakfast she doesn't know what breakfast the if the women listening if the seven want to email
99:24in what is she kind of like what is she looking to accomplish it's you know it's tough because she doesn't love
99:31um doesn't love yogurt you know granola it's like a whole thing if you don't does she want to start healthy or
99:37she just like i just want something good we prefer and she's not into eggs right now oh i was gonna say
99:44because skippy makes a egg in a basket which is just a a piece of bread on the skillet with a hole
99:51in the middle oh yeah again and then you can pop the egg and like the yolk was all over the bread
99:57so she's not like a like like a greek yogurt with some fruit and honey we can but that requires like always
100:04having good fruit and yogurt every morning and then we don't when mornings we don't have that it's just like if we
100:11don't have the fresh fruit it's it's we don't know what about like bowl of healthy healthy cereal with banana what is
100:17a healthy cereal well healthier cereal i would say cereal can't really that earnest question i grape nuts healthier cereal that doesn't
100:24taste good and you have to add fruit to make it taste good okay got it grape nuts is so funny i
100:31haven't had a grape nut since i was like in grade school like i eat i like cereal just because i like
100:38eating cereal more than i needed to taste good which i don't know if that makes any sense like i buy like
100:44i forget what even the brand is called it's called like nature's path whatever and i basically buy just like it's like
100:51corn flakes that have no flavor and they're just crunchy dump sugar on that shit trail mix that i'm picking around to
100:58eat m&ms yeah it's just crunchy and then i add like banana or blueberries or whatever and milk and i just like
101:04eating it it's fun to eat it's like popcorn i like eating it you do love popcorn you're a big pop craig
101:11by the way calvin is obsessed with popcorn he drank like a whole bag of popcorn this weekend it's great i might
101:18get into pop i think you started that by the way you got him into it craig wow oh yeah we had
101:24popcorn we shared popcorn on that ferry in yeah you like you you're the one who started his uh it's like uh
101:31the first one's free but now you got him hooked well i gotta get you a i gotta get you a whirly
101:38pop to make popcorn at home well i that's i mean calvin also started smoking cigarettes and ripping tequila that was that
101:44was my influence so yeah yeah yeah craig's not the only bad influences so anyway so matt's email i got him a
101:51log into brazzers has he used that yet brazzers no not yet it's on his little tablet as we were eating popcorn
101:58i gave him a log into brazzers it was a lifetime fucking login i said i whispered you'll thank me later you
102:05gave him a gift card to pay for it so it's not tied to anything i had a friend who will not
102:11name in high school that would like take all these gift cards he got from his grandparents and use porn like pay
102:18use the gift cards on porn because then his parents wouldn't find out wow it's like it's like having a burner phone
102:25yeah it was burner money what were the gift cards earmarked for though it was like an american express gift card oh
102:31oh yeah like a visa american express his grandparents would give it to him and he would just he was just like
102:38that's hilarious is i wonder if that goes back to the first person who buys you the gift card that'd be funny
102:45and an email you haven't checked the money on an amex you don't get to try it's like 2010 they're not tracking
102:51that down it's like dudes back in the day on like a work trip would stay in a hotel and like pay
102:58for hbo for the night tv yeah so you could get like skinamax or whatever the fuck they were showing it's like
103:05on the bill no no no i was doing it to watch boxing all right anyway matt's email yeah do you even
103:11care anymore yeah hit me hit me okay he said since we have started ranking hot quarterbacks i wanted to hit you
103:18guys with a long running theory i have about brothers in sports the more handsome brother is almost always the better athlete
103:25interesting and this is not groundbreaking it makes sense i think they got more girls in high school they were more popular
103:32what's truly done founding is that this basically bats about 97 percent and he says let's look at some examples the better
103:38looking brother is the better athlete blake griffin over taylor griffin set steph curry is better than seth seth curry cory seager
103:45is better looking than kyle seager yadier is by far the best looking of the molinas clay way better than michael thompson
103:52is that his brother no his brother is uh michael thompson's his dad clay's brother's trace i think he has two brothers
103:58though trace and oh yeah trace and michael i think it's michael jr oh michael oh is he really wait trace thompson's
104:05a baseball player yeah he played for the dodgers for a little bit clay thompson's brother played baseball i didn't know rob
104:12gronkowski's the best looking of the gronks drew is the best looking holiday i didn't know any brother michael is better than
104:18jonte porter that's true stefan digg's better looking than trayvon that's true justin upton's better looking than bj upton that's definitely true
104:25aaron is better looking than austin nola chris long is better looking than kyle long it's definitely true i'm sorry to kyle
104:32long and then shannon sharps better looking than sterling sharp and he says i'd venture to say payton's better looking than eli
104:38but that's that's that's kind of a hard one hey uh and then you can notable exceptions derrick carr versus david carr
104:45but will but david carr even you know injuries really the exception that proves the rule i do there might be something
104:52to this i would say brooke lopez is better looking than robin lopez definitely this all just comes down to the old
104:59eight old age old adage look good feel good play good is it that or is it that the better athlete makes
105:05more money and then pays to have superior plastic surgery and skincare routines what about the watt brothers jj watt is pretty
105:12good looking i don't know would he is he better than tj derrick definitely the third best brother and the third best
105:19looking that's fair i think tj watt is the best looking watt okay that is that might be true i think it
105:25is derrick and tj or sorry i mean it's um jj is got initials tj watts better looking than jj but they're
105:32both like really good they're both very good yeah um trevor lawrence has an older brother named chase lawrence really is kind
105:39of like uh it's like a hippie vibes to him i don't know wow chase lawrence did he play football i feel
105:45like they both have to be athletes uh oh my god no and he's quite a bit shorter oh interesting i'm fascinated
105:52by the whole trevor lawrence thing i think that's the big question that's the most unanswerable question of this ranking is what
105:59it does trevor lawrence make it in the top eight or is he like 25th i think he i think we're past
106:05the point he's out you think he's out that would be my guess i'm thinking of who's remaining though we have like
106:12burrow hurts josh allen justin herbert dac we have shador we have have we said bo nix's name yet no bo nix
106:19is uh honorable mention honorable mention right trevor lawrence we have jordan love is not mentioned he might make it i bet
106:25um patrick mahomes yeah you have like mahomes and stroud and gino and you have michael pennix tua tua yeah fascinating this
106:32is the best this is the favorite thing that craig has ever done i think it's great i'm having a blast fascinating
106:39we'll end it there although i do want to just mention thank you to people emailed in about cricket and the way
106:46gretzky of cricket and a lot of people told us about grain gretzky and there's this whole guy don bradford i don't
106:52know if we have time to do this today but don bradford was really good at cricket so thank you to everyone
106:59who sent in the don bradford the wayne gretzky of cricket it's basically like you know ted williams hit 400 as a
107:06batting average in baseball for a season don brad was don bradman sorry don bradman basically it's like if he hit 500
107:12in baseball for his entire career that's done in australia the person i want to shout out is redacted who i don't
107:19know if they want me to share their name or not but redacted pointed out to me that there is a lamina
107:26mall of cricket which is more interesting like an 18 year old there's a 17 year old in cricket has become the
107:32best cricket player well interesting and uh i don't know i don't know more than that but shout out why would someone
107:39want to not tell their name for that fact just because okay i can't be known as the guy knows anything about
107:46cricket um i just didn't confirm i would say that on the show um real quick before we move on i wanted
107:52to also shout out curran a young fan of the show i met in portland i was at a park and he
107:59was skateboarding there and he came over and said hi and he said his dad and him listened to the show watch
108:06the show nice that's very cool uh so shout out curran and your dad shout out curran did you did you shred
108:13with him oh man i wish did you skate did you used to skateboard i did skateboard when i was like in
108:19middle school um if i tried now it would be pretty brutal i can see you skateboarding like have you ever skateboard
108:26sure if he wants to yeah the kids still skateboard yeah for sure curran in fact skateboards i was thinking about skateboarding
108:33the other day because tony hawk has this great bit on instagram where apparently tony hawk might be the most famous person
108:39in the world is not recognized or like if you fame to like tony hawk says every time he goes through um
108:46tsa you know when you have to give them your license either at the gate agent whatever they see the name and
108:53tony hawk is always like there was like anthony hawk you're like man it's like tony hawk i wonder what that guy's
108:59up to and they just hand him the id back and he's always like he's right here and this happens to him
109:06every time he flies we need to come up with a list of the of the the very famous people who have
109:13incredible names that fit what they do and it's not a fake name yeah nominative determinant it's true it's like it would
109:19be a stage name for skateboarder you'd be like tony hawk so you can't do better than that stage name like tiger
109:26woods yes tiger woods is a great one that's like probably number one but like vin diesel yeah not his name like
109:33tom cruise that's not his name that's so true like thomas we grew up in a name era where tony hawk and
109:40tiger woods were dominating i'm like like like megan fox is her actual name is that right that's just like what how
109:46you can't beat that no way yes send us examples this is good people who yeah like bruce willis is what was
109:53his real name walter something uh bruce willis yes it's not bruce it's walter oh oh it's walter bruce walter bruce walter
110:00bruce but you're right the actual name is like tony hawk tiger woods walt willis walt willis kind of would play yeah
110:06sure um i think breaking bad helped walter come back i don't know what walter was doing before as a name yeah
110:13but like tony hawk being his name yeah it's crazy tiger woods as the best golfer ever is crazy tony hawk did
110:20a great job too of like marketing his his name as one of he started a skateboard brand i think it was
110:26birdhouse and that went really big and that was just obviously like a play on his name i do have to say
110:33a lot of people are probably screaming that tiger woods his name is not tiger it's elger no i know it's elger
110:40but but he was always tiger as a kid wasn't yeah i do believe they called that his whole life so that
110:46counts like if he had wasn't like he didn't name himself that when he got famous yeah right yeah he didn't like
110:53when he got into sag or whatever change his name okay so email us if you have other examples of this just
111:00perfect name people oh that's a good one wayne gretzky because it can't there are a lot of people whose name now
111:07sounds good like michael jordan is a perfectly exact name but it's because he's michael jordan that it almost sounds cooler than
111:13it well that's that's like it reminds me in uh i can't remember which one it is one of the back to
111:20the future movies where they go to the old west michael j fox uses the name clint eastwood when he's in the
111:27old west and they're all like clint eastwood that's a fucking terrible name oh that's the third one right i haven't seen
111:33i think so yeah yeah and i just remember thinking that was so funny because it is so true it's like clint
111:40eastwood is so iconic as like for all the westerns and dirty harry yeah clint eastwood that's a stupid name okay thank

112:54the artist but i don't know for sure if i could oh i couldn't sing you the song right now you sing
113:00it for me okay here's how it starts listen to the track bitch that's how the song starts can confirm what's the
113:07name of the song no hands no hands you can imagine what they're discussing uh yeah i there's a lot of things
113:14that come to mind this is a great song um yeah is this great great chorus it also features um roscoe dash
113:20and wallace girl you got me yeah okay yeah yeah yeah yeah this is a great song yeah really i think that's
113:27the first and last time i've ever heard of moscato i really had that thought my honeymoon the office moscato i'm like
113:34like the waka flocka song yeah what is i just oh it's bad i don't drink it the lyrics are so good
113:40okay the first lyric after the chorus is all that ass in your jeans like those jacks oh is it your jeans
113:47i think it maybe online it says your but i think it is though i think they're wrong i'm just gonna my
113:54memory says no way i so i saw waka flocker in concert in like twenty seventeen first of all easily the drunkest
114:01i've ever seen an artist come out on stage it was unbelievable his fucking name is waka flocka flame this dude the
114:07i've never been more afraid of a mosh pit than i was at these that he had going at this like walk
114:14dude i saw a guy break his leg at a waka flocka mosh pit damn and um he was having a great
114:21time and um we were and then i was scared and then uh god what what what a time great call that
114:27song is just yeah it's it's just one of those songs you know i this is a great call yeah i don't
114:34even know like because his name is so unique i feel like he's famous but i i don't i couldn't name another
114:41song that he sings or raps i don't know anything else that he's ever done i just know no hands bangs but
114:47you've seen him you've seen the video of him doing the backing tracks for the bow right yes yes bow bow bow
114:54bow bow bow and actually once you know that once you think about it you can't unhear the bows in the song
115:01it like yes it's like bow bow every ad-lib in a rap song is so much less cool when you think about
115:07them just having to do that though like little wayne's probably just blowing smoke into the thing for like an hour and
115:14you're like yeah it's not as that's one of the lines of this song is i had to i had to beat
115:21my dick since 1996 uh so good craig this is a great one because i actually didn't realize it was that old
115:282010 yeah that also surprises me yeah i feel like it's still going people are still listening to this dude like 08
115:34to 2011 was just so it's funny sometimes when you get to when you get to were you in college at that
115:41time craig no i was in high school oh high school okay uh sometimes when i play music at a party if
115:48you ever end up playing music or dj at a party like i feel like sometimes i'll go to spotify and i'll
115:54type in um songs that uh white people like yeah and it's pretty it's pretty incredibly consistent there's songs that white women
116:01like and i'll just like put that on and the first one usually is no hands oh really but it is very
116:08consistently the first song that comes up oh that's interesting uh i like that they say all i want to do is
116:14sit back and watch you move and i'll proceed to throw this cash i've always like the formality of that line and
116:21i'll proceed to throw this cash collecting receiving yards yeah you proceed to throw cash that was our this is the job
116:28with the gun in the strip club all i could look at was the fucking how much money he had put on
116:34the floor just couldn't believe how much money there wow cam says walk a flock of flame dropped a new single literally
116:41one hour ago get the fuck out while we were recording this show there was a new waka song oh my god
116:48what is it called i believe it's called hard liquor wow i can't while we were recording well that's interesting he has
116:55he has almost a million subscribers this only has 600 views we're the first oh my god it is fresh yeah uh
117:01craig yeah that that whole like the chorus or whatever is so iconic yeah girl it's called the belt got me in
117:08a trance okay the belt dj turn me up ladies it's your jam come on craig next week is there gonna be
117:15another millennial banger you bet your ass there is we'll keep fucking going until the wheels fall off the month of july
117:21is millennial banger month and then we'll do something else i'm gonna be honest i'm enjoying the hell out of this i
117:28don't have to think of anything i've i've like exhausted six years worth of songs yeah um this is great also you
117:35kind of cheated because now you're doing songs only but yeah well dk never named one millennial banger in six years so
117:41i had to fucking untrue who is the artist that convinced craig to pull the plug you guys this is bullshit because
117:48you guys were the ones that talked me into you kept giving me shit every time i told a famous band you're
117:55like you're like oh britney spears you said taylor swift 10 times and craig yeah you would just say like adele or
118:01katie perry like jay-z or beyonce you said katie perry a lot katie perry millennial banger millennial teenage dream all-time album millennial
118:08banger all right katie perry you guys got mad at me when i was playing the hits all right now craig gets
