Aaron Rodgers

NegativeRole72:51

The hosts suggest Aaron Rodgers as a candidate for a 'hot potato' league mechanic where managers are forced to trade him to other teams weekly, jokingly calling it 'immunization'.

Insight page

Carson Beck

PositiveBreakout58:45

Carson Beck looked comfortable and calm in the Hall of Fame game, showing good velocity on deep shots and dispelling concerns about his previous elbow injury.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeInjury44:03

Christian McCaffrey is dealing with general tightness and sitting out practice, though the hosts suggest limited practice is actually beneficial for him at this stage.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveValue8:56

Colston Loveland is viewed as a high-ceiling asset in the Bears' offense, with some projections suggesting he could lead the team in receiving. However, Danny Heifetz notes that his current ADP—going before Lamar Jackson—is scarily high, leaving little room for further growth in value.

Insight page

Cyrus Allen

NegativeSleeper80:25

Cyrus Allen is generating buzz in Chiefs camp as a potential separator in an offense that lacks consistent route runners. While he has shown twitch and the ability to get over the top of defenses, there is skepticism regarding his fantasy viability given the Chiefs' history of hyping late-round receivers who fail to materialize. He is a deep sleeper at best, not a priority draft target.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout73:10

Denzel Boston is a standout rookie in Browns training camp, showing strong route running, contested catch ability, and play strength. Despite concerns regarding Deshaun Watson's recent performance and injury history, Boston is viewed as having high dynasty value and a ceiling comparable to Nico Collins. He is considered a more viable redraft target than Jacoby Lane due to his potential to develop into a true number one receiver.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeValue74:21

Craig selected Drake Maye with his first pick in a 32-team guillotine league, citing the importance of securing a quarterback in that format.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

PositiveProjection74:24

Craig notes that he has Emeka Egbuka ranked much higher than other available players in his draft, expressing a strong preference for him this season.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeProjection75:25

DK expresses regret for not drafting Garrett Wilson, noting that despite his previous criticisms, Wilson is a candidate to win Offensive Player of the Year.

Insight page

Haynes King

PositiveSleeper61:42

Haynes King is an undrafted free agent gaining dynasty buzz, with reports suggesting the Panthers view him as a Taysom Hill-type utility player.

Insight page

Isiah Pacheco

NegativeInjury28:46

Isaiah Pacheco is dealing with an MCL sprain that will cause him to miss approximately a month of practice. His absence leaves the Lions thin at the running back position behind Jameer Gibbs.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeInjury44:03

J.K. Dobbins is dealing with a soft tissue injury, adding to his history of durability concerns; he has not played more than 13 games in a season since 2020.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveUsage33:20

Jahmyr Gibbs is considered the clear RB1 for the Lions, with the team lacking a reliable backup option if he were to miss time, forcing them to potentially look at free agents like James Conner.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveSleeper78:18

Jalen Coker is emerging as the bonafide number two receiver for the Panthers. He is praised for his efficiency metrics and is considered a more established, polished player than Xavier Legette. He is a strong late-round target who could become a fantasy starter by mid-season.

Insight page

James Conner

PositiveValue34:00

James Conner is suggested as a perfect fit for the Lions' backfield given their lack of depth behind Jahmyr Gibbs, with the hosts noting he fits the 'David Montgomery' style of play.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeProjection40:03

The loss of Laremy Tunsil at left tackle creates concern for Jayden Daniels' outlook, potentially causing him to slip in rankings behind quarterbacks like Joe Burrow or Justin Herbert, though his mobility may provide a slight fantasy floor boost under pressure.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveSleeper50:28

Jonah Coleman is highlighted as a top value pick who could emerge as the starting running back for the Broncos, offering goal-line size and third-down receiving ability in Sean Payton's offense.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeValue48:17

The hosts criticize the new Buffalo Bills alternate uniforms, noting that even Josh Allen looked 'lame' wearing them in promotional material.

Insight page

Kenny Pickett

NegativeDepth Chart64:07

Kenny Pickett is now with the Cardinals, marking his fourth team in a short period, including stints with the Steelers, Eagles, and Browns.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeInjury1:43

Luther Burden suffered a groin strain that will likely keep him out for the remainder of training camp, though he is expected to be healthy by the start of the season. While he was seen walking without a limp, the injury creates concerns regarding potential re-injury during the season, particularly when cutting on grass. The missed practice time in Ben Johnson's complex offense could also impact his early-season production.

Insight page
NegativeValue5:44

Due to the groin injury and missed practice time, Danny Heifetz and Craig Horlbeck are considering moving Luther Burden down in their rankings, potentially from a fourth-round value to a fifth-round player. They are hesitant to drop him too far, however, as he is expected to be ready for Week 1.

Insight page
NegativeInjury76:02

Luther Burden III is dealing with an injury that has him sidelined, with the hosts noting he is currently a 'giant bruise' and out for a month.

Insight page

Oronde Gadsden

PositiveValue89:54

Aronde Gadsden is a recommended late-round dart throw for fantasy managers. Despite a recent dip in ADP, his potential usage in a Mike McDaniel-led offense—similar to how Johnny Smith or Darren Waller were utilized—makes him a high-upside option if he secures a significant snap share.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

PositiveValue20:36

Danny Kelly prefers drafting Rome Odunze over Luther Burden at their current price points, citing the latter's groin injury. Despite a lingering foot issue, there is optimism that Odunze will be a primary beneficiary of the Bears' high-volume passing attack.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveValue87:18

Stefan Diggs is a major riser in ADP following his move to Washington. Despite concerns about the offensive line, Diggs remains a top-10 receiver in yards per route run and first downs per route run. He is considered a high-value target in drafts who still possesses elite talent.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeValue75:03

The hosts discuss drafting Tee Higgins, noting the Bengals' historical struggles in the first two weeks of the season, which might make him a waiver wire target later.

Insight page

Will Levis

NegativeBust66:15

Will Levis is highlighted for an embarrassing practice clip where he slipped and fell while trying to roll out, which the hosts compared to poor college football play.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeValue42:41

DK ultimately selects Zay Flowers in his draft after debating between him and Jaylen Waddle.

0:00Football Show. My name is Danny Heifetz and I'm joined by Danny Kelly and Craig Horlbeck and today we're going over training
0:06camp risers, training camp fallers, and training camp entries because at the beginning it was just the 49ers getting hurt but Deacon
0:13now the other 31 teams are also getting hurt.
0:16It is an absolute bloodbath out there guys. Just bath of blood.
0:19Get me to September. Please. Yeah. Yeah. Greg your beloved Luther Burden all your favorite players get hurt every year.
0:25We're gonna get into Craig's anguish and again risers fallers all the quarterback battles that aren't really quarterback battles but first we're gonna take a quick break.
0:33This episode is presented by Verizon. Let me tell you all about Verizon's new simplicity plan.
0:38You get one plan, one price, just $30 a line per month even for a single line.
0:43So while everyone is running four trade analyzers before offering a backup tight end, Verizon said one plan, one price.
0:49Sometimes the simplest move is the best one like the simplicity plan.
0:52Head to verizon.com today for new customers $30 per line includes auto pay and switch discount.
0:57Additional taxes, fees, and terms apply. Unlimited data is restricted to on-device smartphone usage, domestic data roaming at 2G speed.
1:03Craig, your favorite player every year gets hurt in August and I don't know why, but Luther Burden hurt his groin and
1:09I feel like your groin is also injured, Craig.
1:12I have sympathy pain with Luther Burden. There's a kick to the groin, yeah.
1:16Yeah, this is legitimately devastating. Look, people thought it could have been a lot worse.
1:21People were fearing ligaments torn out for half the year, out for the whole season.
1:25It's a groin strain. It appears as though he's going to miss basically the rest of training camp and he'll be healthy
1:32in about a month, which is right around when the season starts.
1:35It's a mess. It's a mess. The Luther Burden rocket ship was almost at the moon and I was like convinced this
1:42guy was the next to Monroe St. Brown or better, to be honest.
1:45And look, I think this docks him a little bit.
1:48This obviously stinks. Like him not being able to get an entire month of training camp with the team is a problem.
1:55You know, the online, the Twitter doctors are saying fear of re-injury based on this strain, not terrible.
2:00He was also walking around today, today, Monday at practice without a limp.
2:04The people were saying that was a great sign this early on.
2:08So I'm holding out hope. But yeah, this is not great.
2:11I don't like this at all, just because the groin injury feels like one that you're just so liable to re-injure as
2:17you go through the year, especially late in the year when it's colder and you're trying to cut and change direction and
2:24do types of things that receivers really need to do.
2:27Like he's walking around fine. That's great. But when he when he's cutting on like a soft grass and it really like
2:33I don't know, that just really worries me. You don't love to see injuries like this in preseason, especially when he was just going so well.
2:41It's been a it's been a really messy camp.
2:44Everyone's getting banged up. You know, this is a good time to talk about when you should do your draft.
2:50I should say briefly before we get to the rest of the injuries, like as late as possible.
2:55Yes, literally like the week of the season, I would do your draft like like September 6, 7, 8, 9th.
3:01Like that range is it feels weird to do it right before the season.
3:05You get antsy. I used to do drafts in like mid-August back in the day in high school and stuff like that.
3:11And I remember we did a draft and a guy in my league took Jamal Charles and the next day Jamal Charles tore his ACL.
3:19And it's like you just don't want you don't want that.
3:22So you need to be drafting the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday before the season starts.
3:26So you don't have to deal with shit like this.
3:29So. I guess you're taking it well. It could be worse.
3:32It could be worse. He might play in week one.
3:35You're acting like Luther Burden's dead. He might play in week one.
3:39He might practice Wednesday before the season. So how much are we moving him down then?
3:44If you seem quite upset. Well, I have him ridiculously high.
3:47So I'll probably have to lower him to a level closer to the two of you.
3:52I'm not docking him a whole lot. I might dock him half a round.
3:56Something like that. Nothing crazy. So where are the players that you're taking Luther Burden around?
4:00Right now I have Luther Burden going around like Mike Evans, Devontae Adams.
4:04Range. Like a fourth round player. Yes. Like a fourth round player.
4:08Maybe he becomes a fifth round player and we'll see how he progresses as we get closer to the season.
4:14For me. I feel like you can't push him down too.
4:17You can't push him down too far because then once you push him down like two rounds, then you're hitting a group
4:23of receivers that are just the range of scenarios with these guys are so, so wide.
4:28I mean, we're talking about like Jordan Tyson, Carnell Tate, two rookies, DK Metcalf, Parker Washington.
4:33So I think it's, I think it is fair to like move him down with maybe one round just based on the fear of him having a setback.
4:41But he, I mean, if he is set to probably start the season and play, then we'll, we'll be okay.
4:47This just sucks. This stuff matters. Like I think if he plays week one, if this isn't going to limit the amount
4:54of snaps he plays, I don't think if he's healthy, but I just think the connection and being there in this complicated
5:00Ben Johnson offense for a month, like not being there matters.
5:03And I, I, I do think there's a chance that it could limit the way he starts the season from a production standpoint.
5:10Um, but if he's healthy, it's like, you know, you're, you're, if it's August 25th and you're heading into your draft and
5:17Luther burden is back at practice and healthy, like you're, you're drafting him.
5:20You're not really changing your opinions on him. It just, it's just kind of a bummer from a development standpoint.
5:26Hyphens, are you, are you moving Roma Dunsay and more, maybe more importantly, Colston Loveland up because of this, or do you
5:33just kind of leave them and see how this all goes?
5:36I don't know if there's room for Colson Loveland to go up.
5:40I feel like Colson Loveland's already as high. He's going around like before Lamar Jackson.
5:44I don't know how much higher Colson Loveland can go.
5:47I think the, my question with the bears is while we're talking about it, bears injuries.
5:52So the safety Kobe Bryant is also out. So they signed him from your Seahawks DK and he was essential to the
5:58Seahawks defense in the Superbowl win and then signed for three years and 40 million in Chicago.
6:03And now Kobe Bryant's out eight to 10 weeks and the bears had like one healthy safety left who had played an NFL staff.
6:10So they had to go inside Xavier Woods, who's I think 31 years old.
6:14And I bring that up because 31, 31 and unsigned on August 8th.
6:18And the NFL is pretty bad. And so 31 and unsigned.
6:22So think about that. You know what? Like the bear should play me at safety.
6:26I kind of actually do. I dare I enforce her.
6:29More like dangerous. He's like Jamal Adams. I just sit there and tell everyone what to do.
6:34I don't know if I could make it as a safety.
6:37Heifetz is the new Terry Tate office linebacker. They should redo that with Heifetz.
6:41I heard Larry Fitzgerald talking about Cam Chancellor. I don't know if this is an old clip or a new one, but I watched a video of it.
6:50I was like, man, that makes me miss Cam Chancellor so much because he's just that's Heifetz lurking over the middle, just trying to take somebody's head off.
6:58There's no easy catches over the middle of the field.
7:01That's all Heifetz right there. But your point's well taken, Heifetz.
7:04Are you basically saying that the Bears are a sneaky candidate to be the shootout team of the year?
7:10Yes. I think that we've kind of we all know the Bengals and the Cowboys are these like high octane offenses with terrible defenses.
7:17And I'm like, well, the Bears secondary is supposed to be the strength of the team.
7:22And now if Kobe Bryant's out, but I mean, more than two, I mean, it sounds like he might be out for
7:28the first half of the season, maybe talking about they have rookie Dylan Tienemann, who we like him out of Oregon.
7:34He's a rookie safety and safety is a really complicated position in the NFL nowadays.
7:39And then, you know, everyone's coming back from injury.
7:41Kyler Gordon's delayed from a calf strain. And it's like, that's the strength of the team.
7:46I think the Bears have one of the worst four front sevens in the NFL.
7:50They don't have a great pass rush. I don't think they have a great interior and the linebacking.
7:56It's not ideal. So I don't know. I look at this Bears defense and I'm like, I don't know.
8:01I feel like all the other teams in the NFC North are going to be able to move the ball on the Bears.
8:08And I'm wondering if they're a team that wants to run, but they're actually going to end up throwing quite a bit.
8:15And there's a world after all this debate about Luther Burden and Loveland and Roma Dunsley.
8:19I wonder if the Bears throw so much that all of them end up being good picks.
8:24I was going to say a lot of this, a lot of the preseason narrative so far has been you either love
8:31Burden or you love Odunze and you can't love both.
8:34You know what I mean? Like, how dare you?
8:37You could never love both of these guys. What if both of them are really good this year?
8:42And you could love land. Colson loved land. I'm really sorry about that.
8:46I'll never do that again. I wish I could tackle you right now.
8:50I'll never do that again. But I had the anchorman, I love lamp in my head for I love land.
8:55And I had to go for it. You know what's funny?
8:59The Bears are actually quite thin at receiver. Like once you get past Burden and Dunsley, it's like they have a rookie, Zavian Thomas.
9:06You have like Khalif, Raymond, Scotty Miller. If Roma Dunsley's got a foot issue that he's not dealing with every day and
9:12Luther Burden with his groin, it is a little bit thin.
9:16I mean, if one of those guys goes down.
9:18Jaday Walker is going to be scoring huge points.
9:21The line between there's a couple of guys like, oh, yeah, they've returned punts like Scotty Miller and Khalif Raymond.
9:27And then it is off a cliff into people that are like NPCs.
9:31I learned today that Scotty Miller is on the Bears now.
9:34Oh, nice. I unfortunately look. I'm all in on the Bears.
9:37Oh, nice. But I don't know why, but for some reason, this training camp, more than in past years, there are certain
9:44guys that are receiving a lot of hype that I'm just believing.
9:47And I don't know. Like, I believe all of the Luther Burden stuff wholeheartedly this year.
9:52There's other guys that we'll get into that I kind of believe.
9:55But like even the Colston Loveland hype, it's I know you balk a little bit about how high he's going in drafts.
10:02But like, I kind of just believe Colston Loveland is going to be a huge part of this offense.
10:07That's going to be really good. And it's going to work out.
10:11I do believe that the that these three guys, Adunze Burden and Loveland are all kind of going to work out on the Bears.
10:18I want to love Colston Loveland. I just balk a little when it's like, OK, if you use your third pick on
10:25him and that starts to scare me a little because suddenly just like Shrek, don't look down.
10:30Like there's a long lot away from the drop and not that much higher he can go when you're talking about a third round pick.
10:37But overall, yeah, the Bears offense, Colston Loveland could be the leading receiver on the team.
10:42You know what I mean? Like Colston Loveland, I believe all the ceiling and everything.
10:46I like the Bears. That's the thing. I hate the idea that I become anti.
10:51I love the Bears. My concern is just. Well, no, I do wonder if the defense is going to be so bad
10:57that at the volume, we'll just make up for everything.
11:00The Bears. I don't know. DK, what do you what do you what do you make of everything?
11:05Because I do think that the other thing that's not being talked about enough is that the Pope was named from Chicago
11:12and then the Bears went on the most miraculous run you've ever seen.
11:16And yeah, will that continue? That's not absolutely not being talked about enough.
11:20I don't know. I think it is one of those things where there's a lot of moving pieces in this offense.
11:26We don't know exactly how it's going to shake out in terms of like target rate and everything.
11:31I want to trust. I'm kind of I lean to be with more with Craig here where I just want to trust
11:38Ben Johnson and the fact that he's going to get a lot of this offense.
11:42And I think there is a strong chance that it's just concentrated between those three Luther Burden, the Roma do and say Colson Loveland.
11:49I do worry a little bit like if you remember a few years ago, Sam LaPorta had like an outstanding rookie season
11:56and then he kind of the next year fell down the higher like the latter hierarchy in terms of targets and everything.
12:02And Jameson Williams as he emerged, we've talked about how Jameson Williams and Luther Burden went to the same high school like
12:09they're somewhat similar type of players, really electric speed, get the ball in space.
12:13So first traps there is, I think of the guys I am with high fits here on the contrary that I think
12:19Colson Loveland is probably priced like very near his ceiling.
12:22There is a chance he outplays it, of course, and they're throwing out the name Travis Kelsey.
12:27I saw a report today that they think he's like their Travis Kelsey.
12:31I'm like, OK, we'll see how that goes. But but yeah, overall, I think you're right.
12:36Colson Loveland is scarily priced. I probably am most in on Roma dunes a now just because of Luther Burden's groin injury.
12:42I think, you know, I still believe in the talent with him.
12:46You're number one. Your oldest rule since I've known you is you don't like receivers with foot injuries.
12:51That's my mantra. The first thing you've ever said to me about fantasy football.
12:55Yeah, but he told me that it's fine. And I'm choosing to believe that it's fine.
13:00All right. I can't I can't figure out when these guys are going to get hurt or not.
13:05You know, Roma dunes a has a foot injury.
13:08And meanwhile, Luther Burden's tearing his groin off his bone.
13:11So am I the highest on Luther Burden now on this show?
13:14Am I now the highest person on him? You you you physically cannot be higher than I am.
13:20The question for you two is right now, if you had to draft Roma dunes a or Luther Burden, who's who you drafting first DK?
13:27Right now, I'd probably take a dunes a. I'd I'd take Burden there.
13:31We have them ranked pretty close, right? I do think the Bears are going to throw a lot this season.
13:37We we have so many ridiculous turnovers last year that if the Bears when they don't lead the NFL in turnovers and
13:43they have this like bad front seven with an injured secondary, they're just going to not be able to stop anybody.
13:50Don't forget the Bears Packers playoff game. Ben Johnson went for a fourth down.
13:54I want to say six times and everyone was like, oh, it's analytics.
13:58I'm like, it was because the defense sucked like he was factoring that in.
14:02That's I don't think they're going to be that much better this year.
14:06So I'm just saying. So for this injury, we had Luther Burden wide receiver.
14:10Twenty three, a dunes a wide receiver. Twenty six.
14:12You're saying that shouldn't change. Heifetz. No, I'm holding on that.
14:16I think. Okay. Not a ton. Hold. Yeah. Hold.
14:18He's going to play in week one. Probably the other receivers.
14:21We even mentioned Caleb Williams permafrost. We didn't mention permafrost that whole conversation.
14:25The other thing I want to mention. So the Lions have some injuries, too.
14:29So I want to start with the line center.
14:32Cade Mays broke his wrist. He's out eight to ten weeks.
14:35I think this is a big deal. I mean, the Lions were abysmal with their center play last year.
14:41It really undid the entire line season was how bad the interior offensive line was.
14:45So now they signed Cade Mays to fix their offensive line and free agency.
14:50Now he's hurt. So they're going to have to move Juice Scruggs or Ben Bart.
14:54Some guard is going to have to play center now.
14:57And I don't think anyone's concerned enough about this to be like, oh, Jameer Gibbs isn't our number one overall player anymore.
15:03However, at this point, I feel officially obligated to tell people that Jameer Gibbs, our number one ranked overall fantasy football player
15:10at running back, has kind of a bad offensive line.
15:13It's like I feel officially crazy. It's crazy how quickly these offensive lines can unravel.
15:17I mean, it was like two years ago. The Lions had an absolutely dominant offensive line and they had kind of a cascading effect where injuries guys leaving.
15:26And now they have Penny Sewell, who's one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL moving positions.
15:31He's going from right tackle to left tackle. There's so many just, you know, variables here.
15:36Blake Miller, Blake Miller, the right tackle is a rookie.
15:39So the other thing, I think there's a little concern for Jameer Gibbs.
15:42Ultimately, he's still going to get a ton of volume.
15:45I think this lowers maybe his ceiling just a little bit in terms of how many touchdowns he's going to have.
15:52To me, the real worry is the passing game, because I think Jared Goff, among all quarter, maybe the most sensitive to interior pressure of any quarterback.
16:00I think the numbers kind of bear that out, like in terms of playing his EPA pass with pressure versus not is
16:06like one of the highest deltas of any quarterback in the NFL.
16:10We've seen him. I mean, he just can't move.
16:12He can't throw off platform when he's playing in rhythm.
16:15It's it's awesome. I mean, it's like firewood. I just love can't move about a professional football player.
16:20Well, everything's relative. Yeah, he is as old school as it gets from a park and bark perspective.
16:26Jared Goff. Yeah, so that that's worrisome. That's not going to make me move on there.
16:31I was saying down in a lot or or much at all, but it does worry me a little bit.
16:36The overall output of this offense could could be dramatically.
16:39You said it lowers Gibbs's ceiling. It also lowers the floor.
16:43I mean, week six. I mean, Jameer Gibbs didn't have like some amazing end to the season last year in the Lions.
16:49I mean, dude, week 16. Jameer Gibbs had two yards, two yards rushing.
16:53And then Christmas versus the Vikings. The Vikings just blitzed the absolute crap of the Lions interior line because the center Graham Glasgow was out.
17:00They had no idea what's going on on Christmas.
17:03I think that was game was on Christmas, right?
17:06Yeah. And Christmas morning. And they just kept having Gibbs go ahead, stay in and block, dude.
17:11And they just kept rocking Gibbs and pass protection.
17:13And yeah, I'm like, I'm a little concerned, honestly.
17:16So it's OK. Here's the good news with Gibbs.
17:19He's not going to come off the field ever because his backup just got hurt.
17:23Isaiah Pacheco. So this is also weird about the Lions.
17:26So Isaiah Pacheco. So David Montgomery gets traded to Houston and Isaiah Pacheco sprains his MCL.
17:31So they're like, oh, he'll be able to play week one.
17:34But now Isaiah Pacheco is going to miss like Luther Byrd in a month of practice.
17:39Here's the weird thing. So Jameer Gibbs is our number one player.
17:42And he just signed a big contract extension. He's going to get a huge workload.
17:47But let's just say Jameer Gibbs gets hurt. And Isaiah Pacheco is hurt.
17:51The Lions don't really have a third string running back.
17:54Like at all. The Lions third string running back is Sione Vachy, who was like a safety at Utah.
17:59He has more tackles than carries in college football.
18:02And Sione Vachy played one snap at running back last year.
18:05He's a special teamer. And then every other player on the Lions at running back are like also like NPCs, people you've
18:12never heard of undrafted free agents that like are clawing to be special You don't know much about Kyle Robichaux.
18:17Kyle Robichaux. Old Robichaux. Yeah. Oh, no. Sorry. It's not Kyle.
18:21It's Kyle. Okay. Kyle. It's Kyle. There's no L in there.
18:24Jabari Small. Ironically. They have a guy named Jabari Small and Jacob Saylor.
18:28You old Saylor, you. None of these players are real.
18:31Yeah. I do think. They're going to trade for someone.
18:34Yeah. I can't tell if this is a weak beginning of fantasy drafts.
18:38I can't tell if Jameer Gibbs and Bijon Robinson are not as good as other past years were like.
18:43Or at least what you thought going into the season when it was like Saquon was the clear 101 or McCaffrey was the clear 101.
18:51Gibbs has the offensive line worries. Although Dan Campbell recently at a press conference was basically saying like, we are going to
18:57give Jameer Gibbs the ball as much as humanly possible and we are going to push him to his physical limits.
19:03They have no choice. Which is very Dan Campbell.
19:06But he was like, this guy's not coming off the field.
19:09He's going to get a million touches every single game.
19:12And we want to make him a Hall of Famer.
19:15So that's great. But the offensive lines are their own concerns there.
19:19And then you have Bijon who's like, I think the Falcons have an okay offensive line.
19:23But the quarterback play and the offensive situation there is like a little bit weird too.
19:28And then you go down the line and you have Christian McCaffrey on, you know, next to the substation in the Niners.
19:35And he's 30 years old. And it's like, there are definite risks with each of the top three running backs going in drafts.
19:41Yeah. No, it's, I mean, not that it's ever a perfect situation, but it's just weird.
19:46And again, Jameer Gibbs has the most touchdowns of any player ever through three seasons.
19:50Like there's a reason he's first. He's literally got the most touchdowns ever.
19:54But I'm mostly just fascinated from the Lions perspective.
19:57Now that Pacheco's hurt, they got to sign someone.
20:00Because again, let's say Jameer Gibbs is doing, forget he gets hurt.
20:03If Jameer Gibbs is to tie his shoes and then comes out for the practice, the running back subbing into the first
20:10team with the Lions that has to play with the starters is Jabari small.
20:14Like that's, what are you talking about? Kai Robichaux.
20:16Kai Robichaux. For a month, they have to sign somebody.
20:19I think you got to go Velcro shoes, right?
20:22You can't risk having untied shoes. That's a good point.
20:25No, there you go. That's really why Gibbs is the number one, though.
20:29It's the Falcons have another option for Bijan. Like, you know, the Lions just burned the boats.
20:34The Lions are like, there is only forward. They'll have to just pick somebody up on waivers or make a trade.
20:40I feel like this is ridiculous. Okay. Yeah. Go get like James Conner.
20:44Yeah. Honestly. Yeah. Honestly. James Conner would be perfect.
20:47It's right. Yeah. It's a perfect. He's such a David Montgomery ass player.
20:50They should get James Conner. Okay. Other injuries that happened.
20:53And so Washington, I, we, we really are in Yiddish.
20:56It's called a kind of her, but we just give jinxes out left, right, and center.
21:01I believe one of the last things we were discussing in our episode, the most last time we recorded was how Washington's offensive line was sneaky underrated.
21:09And D.K. said Laramie Tunsil is one of the best left tackles.
21:13Anyway, he tore his triceps almost immediately after we published that episode.
21:16So Laramie Tunsil is out most, if not all of this season at left tackle, which means they're good.
21:22How do you tear your triceps, by the way?
21:24That injury always happens. It's like once a year, some guy tears their triceps and he tore both.
21:30How do you do that? No, I think it's just one.
21:33I think it's one side. Hard work. Yeah, I don't think he tore both triceps.
21:37I don't think he, I think he tore, like one triceps is still, your left triceps, they kind of call you triceps, right?
21:44Right. I think it's, I think it, yes. I think it's.
21:47Oh, it's just because I see. He only tore one side.
21:51Because he's having triceps surgery, but that's just on one arm.
21:54I've never thought about that. Your left arm, it's not really a tricep.
21:58It's triceps, right? Is it a bicep? I don't know.
22:01Is it biceps or bicep? For whatever reason, I feel like people call it a bicep.
22:05Yeah. But triceps, I feel like now I'm thinking.
22:08It's plural for some reason. I think triceps for, the singular of triceps is triceps.
22:13I love English. What about bicep? Let me check.
22:15I'm guessing it's the same. Just add one. Hilarious if it wasn't.
22:19Yeah. The singular form is biceps. Oh, so. I think it's because the biceps, because there's two.
22:24So it's like even the one you're referring to two.
22:27So really, there's no scenario in which we should say, like, flex your bicep.
22:31That's not, you can't say that. Not correctly. Okay.
22:33Well, actually, I guess we don't know how many of the seps Laramie Tunsil tore.
22:38He could have tore one of the three triceps.
22:41He's just walking around with, like, both his arms in full body cast or full cast or whatever.
22:46Immobile. Yeah, he's not going to play. This is not great.
22:49So, yeah, they Brandon Coleman, who actually did start his rookie year at left tackle in 2024.
22:54Good enough. They did make the NFC championship game, but bad enough that they didn't immediately replace them with Laramie Tunsil.
23:00So, yeah, all that stuff we were saying one episode ago about how much we were excited for Jim Daniels and Terry McLaurin in the running game.
23:08DK, how's that feeling now? Less good. I feel like when you have an offensive line like Washington where there's kind of,
23:15like, a bunch of new pieces to it or at least some moving parts to it, having just a foundational piece at left tackle is so gigantic.
23:23I mean, think about the difference between over the years what we've seen with Trent Williams on the 49ers offensive line.
23:29How much their offense as a whole suffers when Trent Williams goes out.
23:33Where did he come from? I forget. Washington. Right.
23:36Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That was a unique thing.
23:38But, yeah. The most, yes, extremely unique. He had a tumor on his head that Washington made a playthrough.
23:44True. Um, but I do think, yeah, having a top tier left tackle go out is going to make a big difference with your offensive line.
23:51I don't care, like, what offense line you are.
23:54It does make a big difference. It looks like the reports are basically that he's going to be out to the playoffs.
24:01If Washington makes the playoffs, he could be back.
24:03Brutal. He might miss the entire regular season. We have Jaden Daniels fourth overall.
24:07Or, sorry, fourth as our quarterback in the quarterback rankings.
24:10Does this make you guys want to lower him?
24:13A little bit, yeah. I will say, from a fantasy-only point of view, maybe it means he scrambles more.
24:19Which, if you were looking for a silver. How do we make money off this?
24:23Yeah, it's like, well, he'll be under duress more, so he'll have to run more, which is a positive.
24:29His body will be in a constant state of flux.
24:32I don't think this, I think, maybe he drops down, maybe he slips below Burrow or Herbert or however you feel about that.
24:38I don't think he changes tiers, I guess I would say.
24:42Yeah, I agree with that. It's funny, because I know we keep saying wait on quarterback this year, and I want to.
24:48And then I see, like, Jaden Daniels going around, like, Roma Dunsday.
24:52And I'm like, come on. Or Jaden Daniels around.
24:54I don't know. It's like, are you really? I mean, Garrett Wilson.
24:58Are you going to take Garrett Wilson over Jaden Daniels?
25:01Garrett Wilson is the perfect example for that exercise, because no matter who you say other than Garrett Wilson, I'm going to take that guy, usually.
25:09How low can we go? Garrett Wilson or Tucker Craft?
25:11Tucker Craft. Ooh, Tucker Craft was kind of George Kittle-esque last year.
25:15Back in practice now. Are we actually moving anyone down, or we're just nervous?
25:19Same tier. I might move him below guys like Burrow and Herbert, maybe.
25:23What about Diggs and Terry McLaurin? Diggs we ended up putting actually kind of where Mekhi Lemon was, and I think this is a way better pick.
25:31Look at what happened in L.A. last year. Like, Herbert's tackles went down, albeit it was both.
25:36But the Chargers and Herbert was significantly worse, both in real life and in fantasy football, without their top tackles.
25:42So, we're kind of joking about this. But, I mean, I think the fact that Jaden's really mobile to obviously, like, kind
25:48of protect himself against some of the liability that losing your left tackle has.
25:53But, I don't know. It can't go too understated how important it is when your left tackle goes down.
25:58Yeah. Yeah. And that's the same reason I brought the Lions in the center.
26:02Now we're half kidding. But I'm like, well, the last time the Lions lost their center, they scored 10 points in a game.
26:09Yeah. And they looked pathetic the entire time. I, yeah, I am concerned by it.
26:14It makes me feel a little better that Brandon Coleman's played, and he's not just some, like, you know, random backup going in.
26:20What the Chargers had was a mess, yeah. But, no, it's not great.
26:24Because think about how much time there is now for Brandon Coleman to get hurt.
26:29God. Yeah. True. Other – I think we'll dock everyone a little bit.
26:32But the other one I want – a couple other injuries that happened right now, we have no details on whatsoever.
26:39But, DK, you texted me. We started – right before we started recording, you said both Christian McCaffrey and J.K.
26:45for the Niners. J.K. Dobbins for the Broncos both got hurt.
26:48Dobbins gets hurt all the time. And then McCaffrey, did he get fed to the substation?
26:52Or what happened? He's sitting out practice Monday due to tightness.
26:56Tightness. Tightness, we don't know where? No specific tightness, just tightness.
26:59Just general tightness. Tightness, yes. That's fine. You know what?
27:02It's Christian. He should barely be practicing anyway. The less he practices, honestly, the better.
27:06I agree. Especially over that goddamn substation, which looms larger every single day.
27:10Yeah, can they go somewhere cool? The Cowboys go to, like, Oxnard, California and practice on the beach.
27:16The Chargers are going to get the fuck out of the substation.
27:19Craig, they are looking at moving their practice facility.
27:22Did I tell you guys that Carolina's practice facility is also by a substation?
27:26Carolina's practicing right across the street from the substation.
27:29Wait, are you serious? Yeah. I've been meaning to tell you guys this for a week.
27:33I went on Google Maps. I'm convinced. Did a lot of work.
27:37The Panthers are across the street from the substation.
27:39And I don't think it says Giants as the Niners won, but the Panthers are, like, the other most injured team.
27:46Like, they lost Nick Scorton, who's, like, basically their second best pass rusher to an ACL immediately.
27:51Chris Brazell, the third-run receiver towards ACL. They've had some other injuries.
27:54But it's probably mostly a bit. But it is – I did do the Google Street View investigation, and they are directly across from the substation.
28:02We should – one day on the show, we should do, like, stupid conspiracy theories you kind of secretly believe.
28:08We should – because – Well, I feel like everybody's got one.
28:11I'm not a conspiracy theory person, but I also know that if you picked 20, like, one of them's true of the top 20.
28:18You know what I mean? And, like, I – again, I don't think my microwave does anything to me, but I don't,
28:25like, standing in front of it when it's on.
28:28Yeah, yeah. I just don't – I feel weird, and I'm sure that I'm wrong about that, but I – I've seen what happens to stuff in there.
28:36You know? You can see it through the window.
28:39Is this window protecting me from that? Would you hit the button?
28:42Do you, like, try to get out of the way?
28:45The door – it's not like the door seals particularly tightly.
28:48I don't hang out right next to the microwave when it's ready.
28:52No. I feel weird. Like, in my kitchen, I don't want to – if I'm doing something – like, on the stove
28:58in particular, like, I don't want to be right in front of it.
29:02Craig's wearing, like, one of those lead aprons that you'd use when you go get x-rays.
29:07X-ray aprons? Yeah. I mean, just the fact that when you're talking about microwaving something, you say nuke it is, like, you know, a little scary.
29:15There's some red flags. There's some red flags there.
29:17Yeah, just nuke your spaghetti. It's like, Jesus Christ.
29:20I don't know if my balls should be standing close to this.
29:23Imagine all these players in the substation. They're worried about their balls.
29:27I will say it's – I wanted to make fun of everyone at first for believing this, but they actually – the
29:33Niners will have to move the practice facility because at this point, whether or not it's true, it'll never be debunked to the players.
29:41The players are going to get hurt there again and think that it was normal.
29:45There's just something so funny about, like, the owners who are going to have to spend however much money to do this.
29:51Like, it is kind of just a PR move.
29:54It's like, hey, it's probably not a thing, but, like, everyone thinks it's a thing, so you got to just build a new practice facility.
30:02That way, they should do something like that that covers up the substation because it's just the ugliest thing I've ever seen in my life.
30:09It's like – like, if your kid keeps complaining that there's monsters in the closet, even if there aren't, at a certain
30:15point, you're going to have to address the closet situation.
30:18Like, clean it out or something. But, yeah, we'll have to sacrifice something.
30:22Okay, so McCaffrey's tightness. Do we know what J.K.
30:25Dobbins' injury is for Broncos? I get it. I've been saying this.
30:28I think Jonah Coleman is, like, the single best value to draft position there is in fantasy right now because Jonah Coleman,
30:35the rookie out of Washington, is not being drafted.
30:38I just think he will be the player who replaces J.K.
30:41Dobbins, and it's not R.J. Harvey. I think R.J.
30:43Harvey is Darren Sproles, and I think Jonah Coleman will be the starting running back for the Broncos.
30:49And I don't know what happened to Dobbins today, but he's never played more than 13 games.
30:54Peyton said soft tissue injury, so it's not a structural thing.
30:57But, again, you don't love to see injuries at this point in the preseason.
31:01Again, Dobbins, again, I actually, J.K. Dobbins is a sneaky candidate for if we did the, oh, if he never got hurt,
31:08how good he could have been all-stars. Like, Dobbins is a sneaky great candidate because he had a terrible injury.
31:14He is an amazing, amazing college running back. He was probably going to have an amazing NFL career.
31:19So I hate to be mean about it, but it's like, Dobbins, yeah, he started one game in 2020, but he played 15.
31:26But since COVID, he literally hasn't played more than 13 games.
31:29Like, Jonah Coleman will be on the field this year, and he's the mix of, he has the size for goal and
31:35stuff, and he has the ability to block and catch.
31:38And it's like, he could get a, when you can get goal line touchdown carries and also third down dump offs in
31:45a Sean Payton offense, I don't know. And he's not being drafted.
31:48I just think it's a mistake. So. What do you make of the R.J.
31:53Harvey thing? We haven't talked about him hardly at all.
31:56I think he's Darren Sproles. I think he's the most overrated player in fantasy.
32:00He's just going to be in a rotation. Yeah.
32:02I mean, if you look at every Sean Payton offense, I think since he's ever been a play caller, there's no running
32:09back who's gotten over, I think, 230 or 240 carries.
32:12Like, it's just, no one gets featured as the lead guy.
32:15So you can hope and pray that R.J. Harvey turns into, like, Alvin Kamara or something, but no one's going to be getting 280 carries in the offense.
32:23That's not how Sean Payton operates. And none of the guys on the team are capable of that, I feel like.
32:29I'd rather have Coleman with the last pick of a draft or Adam Off-Wavers than R.J.
32:34Harvey. I think to that point, Craig, I just don't think R.J.
32:38Harvey is going to have his huge role, but he's going to be drafted near, you know.
32:43Yeah, we have R.J. Harvey around 100th. I mean, the upside for Harvey is, like, if he becomes, like, whatever, he splits
32:49carries on first and second down and is the third down guy and they really feature him in the passing game.
32:55That is often how you find upside in fantasy football is, like, it's usually the guys who catch passes late in drafts.
33:02Like, those are the dudes you should be targeting.
33:05And R.J. Harvey at least provides that upside. He does.
33:08It's true. And again, Bo Nix had the, I think, had the most pass attempts last year.

33:43Scan QR code for more info. I just wanted to mention that Kirk Cousins fought Max Crosby.
33:48Who do you guys, who would you guys bet on in a fight?
33:52Kirk Cousins or Max Crosby? With the Raiders. Who do you think would win?
33:56Kirk Cousins was on Team America World Police. So I don't know.
34:00I think I still might take the guy who's way bigger, way stronger, way faster, way more reach.
34:05That guy, Max Crosby. Two more X's in his name.
34:08Way more X's in his name. What does Kirk have going for him?
34:12Kirk is, what, 38 years old and has a torn Achilles.
34:15He does have like four kids, though. Maybe some dad strength factored in there.
34:19More to live for, perhaps, from a family perspective.
34:22Maybe he'd really go for it. More to live for.
34:25You know? He's got four kids to raise. I feel like, does having more to live for make you worse or better at fighting, though?
34:32That's a great question. That's a great question. It depends if you're trapped in a corner.
34:37Well, right now, Heifetz versus DK. Heifetz doesn't have any kids.
34:40DK does. Also, Max Crosby has the child. Max Crosby has one child.
34:44Well, he's got one. Kirk's got how many? Oh, I think Kirk only has two.
34:48Eh, no kidding. I thought he had four for some reason.
34:52There's twice as much. He does feel like a four-kid guy.
34:55That's like when Phil Rivers came back and everyone realized that he extended his, like, health insurance for his family for, like, five more years.
35:02For the eight kids left, he is still under 20.
35:05Dude, that adds up, man. It's expensive. It does.
35:08No. Max Crosby's, like, minus 3,000 to win that fight.
35:11Vegas would not take bets on it. Max Crosby's going to pick him up and drop him onto his knee like fucking Bane in Batman.
35:18Just break Kirk Cousins' back. All right. We've been negative for long enough.
35:22I want to be positive about training camp. All right.
35:25Let's talk about Carson motherfucking Beck. This was an absolute sensation over the weekend.
35:29The Hall of Fame game? The Hall of Fame game was crazy.
35:33It was, the ending was insanely entertaining. This was maybe the best preseason football anyone's ever seen.
35:38Both offenses were crisp. First of all, let's talk about Carson Beck.
35:41Okay. I watched this game. Okay. Carson Beck looked actually really good.
35:45People were legitimately excited about Carson Beck. I will say there's a lot of concerns about his elbow coming back from that injury.
35:51He had kind of a noodle arm last year.
35:54His arm looked fine in this game. He connected on two deep shots, and I thought there was plenty of velocity on the ball.
36:01That was great. He looks super calm, collected. I will say, not a lot of recognizable names on the Panthers' defense playing in this game.
36:09I don't think that anyone was doing anything special in terms of disguising coverages and things of that nature.
36:14Trying to mix things up and get to the quarterback.
36:17I think the real takeaway from the Hall of Fame game, though, if you're actually looking for one, was the Cardinals offense looked different.
36:24A lot different in this game than it did last year.
36:28A lot of under center, a lot of under center play action.
36:31The Cardinals last year did not use under center play action hardly at all.
36:35They were trailing in almost every game, so that was probably a big part of it.
36:40But they were a high pass rate, high straight drop back team.
36:43And I think that's going to change a lot this year.
36:47They're going to be like play action, run the ball, be balanced.
36:50Maybe this isn't breaking any news, but that to me was kind of the big thing I noticed about this game.
36:56And I thought Carson Beck fit into that really well.
36:59Now, is there any takeaways from the Carson Beck thing?
37:02I might have more takeaways if Haynes King hadn't looked even more awesome.
37:06And he's an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech.
37:09Panthers. Dude, he had the game winning play. Yeah, I mean, this is a guy.
37:14Here's a guy. Collinsworth was in midseason for him, by the way.
37:17Here's a guy who. I love that they made Collinsworth do this.
37:21And Collinsworth, it's preseason for him too. I think this was genuine.
37:24He fucking loves football. They can't even for one moment break character and be like, yeah, it's the preseason.
37:30None of this matters. I think it is important to remind you right now.
37:34Preseason football is so different than regular season football.
37:37We've gotten that out of the way. That said, I mean, Haynes King, man.
37:416'2", 2'12", runs a 4'4", 6". We got Adam Schefter on McAfee talking about how the Panthers see him as a Taysom Hill type of player.
37:48I'm in, man. I'm adding him on Dynasty Leagues.
37:51He was the hot Dynasty ad this week. This is pathetic out of Dan Kelly.
37:56I'm disgusted. I'm disgusted with you. Craig is disgusted.
37:58You've watched four quarters of Panthers, Cardinals, Hall of Fame game football, and he's talking about adding guys in Dynasty.
38:04I was watching the final drive again this morning for Haynes King, and I think I recognized one Cardinals defensive name.
38:10He's watching tape on the Hall of Fame game.
38:13He's going back for more. He didn't have enough.
38:16I think my takeaway with Carson Beck is that he looked like he's played a lot of football, and he did look comfortable.
38:22He looks like a guy who's played like 50 or 60 college games, and I thought it kind of looked the part.
38:29Whether or not anybody on the field is going to be on a roster in a month, but I don't know.
38:35I thought he passed the eye test from a comfortability standpoint.
38:38It's better than him being really bad. Yeah, of course.
38:41That's a good point. That is true. I didn't see that.
38:45But he did look good. He did look good.
38:47I'll just never forget Kenny Pickett's preseason when he— Kenny Pickett was in this game, by the way.
38:53Exactly. For the Carolina Panthers. Exactly, DK. Is this his fourth team?
38:56How many teams has Kenny Pickett been on? Steelers, Browns, Eagles, now Panthers.
39:00How many teams has he been on? That's a great question.
39:03I have no idea. Four is, I believe, the correct number.
39:06He has played four. There were segments going on on ESPN saying— He was on the Eagles.
39:11Kenny Pickett is the next guy. Yeah, he was on the Eagles.
39:15And then he was on the Raiders. Oh, he was on the Raiders.
39:19So this is 15. Wasn't he on the Browns?
39:21No. Pittsburgh, Philly, Raiders, and now the Cardinals. Well, no.
39:24He wasn't on the Browns. He didn't play for the Browns because the Browns ditched him in like four months.
39:30The Browns got him in March and got rid of him in like August or something.
39:35But he was on the practice squad. Yeah, he was on the Browns.
39:39Yes. He just didn't play. He just didn't play.
39:42Okay. So the point is preseason is stupid. But also we have to glean like 10% of it that matters.
39:47All right. Let's get something that really, really matters a lot, which is all the hype out of preseason for random players.
39:54That really does matter. This is training camp hype, not even preseason hype.
39:58The first guy we have to talk about is Jacoby Lane, the receiver for the Ravens out of USC.
40:03The Ravens went and got two receivers. Elijah Surratt, Indiana, who led the college football touchdowns, and then Jacoby Lane from USC,
40:10who is basically just catches everything thrown his way.
40:13And DK, I feel like the book on Jacoby Lane coming out of college was can't separate, but can't not catch a football.
40:19Right. Yeah. Give us the scouting report. He's a big guy, right?
40:23He's like 6'4", 200. Yeah. And if you call that big, he's tall and very long.
40:28He has great length. He's like 80 foot or 80 inch wingspan.
40:31He has huge hands, 10 and a half inch hands.
40:34And he's fast. He ran like a 4'4". So he has the length and the speed combo that is definitely intriguing.
40:40I think coming out, though, the reason he wasn't ranked much higher for most people is just kind of one dimensional.
40:47Didn't separate a ton. Kind of still learning how to route people up.
40:50But man, he can dominate at a catch point.
40:53He's got a huge catch radius, which is like basically...
40:56I think it's... There's a chance here that he just is one of those guys that kind of got lost in the wash.
41:03But fits well with the offense that the Ravens want to run.
41:06And I think, you know, with Lamar, chuck it up to him.
41:10Let him come down with it. I saw Jameson Hensley who covers the Ravens.
41:14He's 27 years covering the Ravens. I'm not sure I've seen a rookie as have a training camp quite like wide receiver Jacoby Lane.
41:21To me, that gets my attention because you see a lot of hype every year.
41:25It also speaks to the Ravens. He's had one pro ball receiver in 27 years.
41:30The best receiver I've seen. Best training camp for a rookie I've ever seen.
41:34I don't know. You can't go a day without hearing his name, though.
41:38I will say that. He's maybe the star of training camp across the field.
41:42Jacoby Lane, he has... His ball skills, like his ability to catch the football coming out of college was better than a 9 out of 10.
41:50It's like T. Higgins-esque almost. When I was watching him, I was like, you know, at least at the catch point, the
41:56way he kind of spins and gets his feet down.
41:59He's very flexible and good body control in the air.
42:02I don't know. There's something there. But yeah, I can't believe the hype.
42:06I mean, it's pretty crazy so far. I think they end up starting for them.
42:10I do not think Jacoby Lane is anything for redraft or anything for this season.
42:15I think that he's a good example of a player that like, honestly, kind of reminds me a little bit of Isaac
42:21Tesla, his rookie year, where it's like he's going to do some absolutely crazy shit.
42:26And Jacoby Lane will probably end up like number one on SportsCenter, but he's not going to be in fantasy.
42:32The difference, though, is like Isaac Tesla was behind Amon Ross St.
42:35Brown and Jamison Williams and Sam Laporta. And the team had Jameer Gibbs, who's also catching a ton of passes.
42:41The Ravens have Zay Flowers and Rashad Bateman and Mark Andrews.
42:44Yeah. Yeah. Huge difference. It's a much lower barrier to entry here for Jacoby Lane.
42:49He's kind of like, you know how Ken Walker would do all the work and get to the goal line and Zach Charbonnet would score?
42:56Yeah. It's going to be Zay Flowers. Zay Flowers are going to just get to the Ravens to like the four and
43:03then they're going to like hand the ball to Derrick Henry.
43:06He'll get stuffed twice. And then on third down, they're just going to throw some crazy ball to Jacoby Lane and he's
43:12going to catch it for a touchdown. So you guys- One catch for six yards and a touchdown every week.
43:18Do you guys think Jacoby Lane is worth drafting and redraft?
43:22At any point. No. In a 12 team? No, not at all.
43:25Probably not. I think I'd have to see it and be like, maybe he's a waver ad.
43:30I don't think he's the kind of player that's going to come out.
43:34He's not like an Ibuka where Emeka Ibuka starts hot because he's like very polished and competent across all these ways.
43:40I think Lane, I think he's perfect for training camp.
43:43He's a perfect player to stand at a training camp.
43:46What does that mean for you guys with like the Browns players in fantasy?
43:50Because Denzel Boston, the rookie receiver again at Washington, who we all liked.
43:54Again, I keep thinking of him as a six foot four punt returner, which is just not a thing.
44:00He's agile. He's good in contested space. He's been like the standout rookie in training camp separating.
44:05But he is playing with Deshaun Watson. And I'm like, do you want Denzel Boston and fool yourself in the siren song of a receiver with a guy?
44:13Watson, the last time we saw him two Achilles tears ago was horrible.
44:17And now he's torn his Achilles twice since then as quarterback and has barely played football in like a couple of years.
44:23Do you actually do you want? Do you want Boston?
44:26Do you want Harold Fannin? Do you like want these players in your team?
44:30DK? Um, I don't know. Probably not. I definitely want Denzel Boston and dynasty and Fannin and dynasty.
44:36Um, but this year, let me ask you this hype.
44:39It's because I don't, I think I lean. I'd rather have Deshaun Watson starting from fantasy point of view in terms of
44:45like who, which quarterback is going to give this offense a little bit higher ceiling.
44:50I think it's still probably Deshaun Watson. I think they'd just run such a limited offense with Shutter Sanders.
44:55We saw what it looked like last year. Everything's just dump offs and get rid of the ball.
45:00And I don't know, and tons of sacks. And I, I just, I think even though the last one we saw Watson
45:07was really, really poor, if there is a chance that he can kind of shake off some of the rust and get
45:13somewhat closer to what he was, you know, prior to, um, when he was with the Houston Texans, I think that would
45:20give the offense much better, like upside and fancy Denzel Boston, um, you know, Quinch on jutkins, all some of these guys that were.
45:27A little bit scared to draft right now. Would you rather draft Denzel Boston and redraft this year?
45:32Oh yeah. Because of my priors. Yeah. Mainly. Even though the Ravens offense is probably going to be way better.
45:38I think Denzel Boston could actually be like a number one receiver in the NFL.
45:43Like, I mean, Denzel Boston could be like his ceilings, like Nico Collins.
45:47Like traditionally. Yeah. Traditionally speaking, he fits the profile much more as a true number one.
45:51Um, and so everything you've heard about him in camp is he's been outstanding.
45:55I mean, running routes, uh, winning at the catch point play strength.
45:59I think that's the one thing that Jacoby lane might not have is like the play strength aspect of it, where you're
46:05fighting through coverage and fighting, um, through contact to the catch point and all that stuff.
46:10So, um, that's Denzel Boston is just, he's a beast.
46:13So it's cool to see the hype that he's had again, the quarterback situation sucks, but I think I still would rather take that.
46:20Jacoby lane is a good player. I'm not trying to like be negative, but I do think it's funny.
46:26The quote from Jamison Henley was doing a lot of work where he's like in 27 years, I've never seen a rookie of the camp like this.
46:34I'm not, I wasn't kidding before. Zay flowers is the only pro bowl receiver in the history of the Ravens.
46:40They've never had good players. Like it's it's the Andre Hopkins wasn't practicing a ton there.
46:44They had to give Zay flowers $30 million a year.
46:47Just saying, I don't know. He's good though. Uh, the other guy that's high.
46:52So Denzel Boston, I will move them up in a rankings.
46:55I do. It's just too bad. He's in the Browns.
46:58The other Jalen Coker for the Panthers. I mean, he's a way more established player than these other guys.
47:03Like, you know, he's, I feel like. Cause Jalen Coker, he was undrafted right now.
47:08He's just like the bonafide number two receiver for the Panthers.
47:11They gave him an 11 million a year contract extension.
47:14Uh, he's having a good camp, but he's just a good player.
47:18Like he's just gonna have a long, I feel like Jalen Coker is gonna have like a decade long NFL career.
47:24Yeah. He's the Panthers version of Parker Washington. Where it's like the, the, like the low in the draft guy.
47:30That's like doing, does all the work, the underlying metrics.
47:33Everybody loves them. You can't, if you go on Twitter and type in Jalen Coker's name, like it's, it's just tweet after
47:39tweet about all these underlying metrics about how great Jalen Coker is from an efficiency standpoint.
47:44I mean, I think he's definitely better than Xavier Legat.
47:47So it's like you have him and Ted Oro and McMillan.
47:50Are the two guys in this offense. And if you believe in the Panthers to follow the pickup on the momentum of
47:57last year, Jalen Coker didn't play the whole season.
47:59Um, a guy who's like probably, you know, could be somebody that you're starting in your fantasy season halfway through the, halfway through the year.
48:07Yeah. Yeah. Uh, and Coker, and again, he's in a different class.
48:10I mean, that's a player we actually, I actually think you could play and it's fine.
48:15Um, also going like extremely late drafts right now.
48:17It's still early, but yeah. Did the last person we haven't talked about has been hyped up crazy is Cyrus Allen, the receiver for the chiefs.
48:25Yeah. We've not, I barely know who this person is.
48:28Here's a mid round pick. I think he was a fifth rounder.
48:32He, he's another guy that when you look at kind of his profile and what he did in college, he started out
48:38at Louisiana tech to play two seasons there, transferred to Texas A&M didn't really do a whole lot.
48:43And then transferred to Cincinnati and played one year at Cincinnati.
48:47Didn't put up elite numbers, but he did score 13 touchdowns, which was I think third in the FBS.
48:52Um, so, but like when you watch his tape, he's got some twitch to him.
48:57He can really get offline and separate guys from guys quickly.
49:00Um, shaking coverage and, and getting open and getting over the top of a defense.
49:04Like that's the kind of stuff you see, but then the other underlying stuff, all the stats, I'm like, not really sure what to make of this guy.
49:13And that was kind of what happened with the NFL too.
49:16I think the NFL wasn't really sure what to make of them.
49:19Um, but I will say, and this is something that Matt Harmon's brought up a bunch is like, he might be the
49:26only guy in the, in the chiefs offense who can actually separate well from coverage.
49:30Like for she rice, good at separating against zone Xavier worthy.
49:34Can't stay healthy. If he's a big time separator, either he to me was more of like a run after the catch guy, get him in space guy.
49:42There's this, there's a world in which Cyrus Allen is the guy who can separate for this offense.
49:47And, um, the word out of the camp so far, our Breer said that's very much part of the offensive plan for the chiefs.
49:54Um, he's back on the field. He got hurt briefly, but he's back on the field.
49:59I kind of lean that I'm sort of believing this, that he could be a legit sort of sleeper and fantasy just
50:06because of the way that the other two, the other main guys in the, in the receiving core for the chiefs are, um, hurt.
50:13And, you know, where she rice went off the field the other day, banged up.
50:17He never really looked all that explosive to start with.
50:20He's coming off a knee injury that he was rehabbing in jail.
50:24Um, and again, I'll never, I'll never, I'll never get over that.
50:27That little tidbit is fascinating. Um, but I do think, you know, they need someone who can separate and create on their
50:34own versus like trying to scheme guys up on every single play.
50:37Um, so that, that is what's fascinating about him.
50:40Again, I wouldn't like reach too high on him because he's a fifth round rookie.
50:44Um, but I do find that pretty interesting. It feels like the chiefs always have a guy like, I feel like the
50:51chiefs are very good at at manufacturing this narrative in the off season, that there's this like gem wet receiver that they're sitting on.
50:58You know what I mean? I, I, it's like, I forget who all the names have been.
51:03It's like Justin Ross and Noah Gray. There's always these, uh, these like late round sleeper guys that are, that are popping
51:09off in training camp that never materialized for Kansas city.
51:12Yes. I, I gotta tell you, I, I look at everyone fawning over Cyrus Allen the way, like you ever watch people do like salvia.
51:20I've watched somebody do salvia in person. I don't watch people doing salvia.
51:24My friend did salvia one time and I watched him do it in, in his living room.
51:29How long did it last? He just sat there watching.
51:32Not very long. Well, the drug, it's like a couple minutes.
51:35It's not long at all. That's that. I mean, that's how I feel watching Cyrus Allen in 10 days.
51:40No one's going to be able to remember. Salvia Allen.
51:43Um, I don't know. Salvia. I'm just like, it's one of those players where I'm like, it's a nice story.
51:49I hope he makes, he's going to make the team, but I think it speaks more to how much the chiefs skill
51:56player infrastructure has been allowed to rot. It would be, that's a really neat thing to say, but like, I don't know.
52:02I just, she writes, I think it speaks more to the problems that chiefs have that he's immediately dominant and maybe I'm wrong.
52:09Maybe Cyrus Allen has a lengthy and healthy NFL career, but I'm like, yeah, I don't think he's going to be a factor.
52:16Well, maybe for the real life chiefs, but not fantasy.
52:19I tend to agree. All right. So, uh, everything trending in your algorithms is stupid and dumb.
52:24Is that, is that where we're at? Don't believe training camp pipe.
52:27No, it's usually stupid. Okay. This segment is brought to you by chat GPT, the ringer fantasy football AI sponsor.
52:33So looking at the biggest risers and fallers in average draft position over the last week.
52:38So the biggest risers are Stefan Diggs, obviously, cause he's signed with Washington.
52:42Jaden blue. Who's the backup running back for Dallas.
52:44Jacoby lane, the catch wizard for Baltimore. Marshawn Lloyd is back up running back for the Packers.
52:49Debo Samuel. Cause he went back to the Niners and the biggest followers over the last week are Antonio Williams, who again,
52:56rookie in Washington, but they signed Diggs. Aranda Gadsden for the chargers.
53:00Cause you know, he might not play all the tight end snaps.
53:03Kalen black running back, uh, from Indiana and then Kenyon Sadiq running back, uh, running back tight end from the jets, uh,
53:10tight end from Oregon and went to the jets.
53:12And then Emmitt Johnson, who's running a backup running back down the chiefs.
53:16DK, any of these guys stand out to you either as a positive for the rises or someone to avoid on the fall.
53:23I mean, I think if you're talking about guys that you're.
53:26That believe the hype and believe why they're rising Stefan Diggs to me is the one.
53:31Um, I mean, we mentioned that the offense could suffer with the loss of, uh, Laramie Tunsil, but still, I think Stefan
53:37Diggs has a chance to be a real factor in fantasy.
53:41And so this one feels the realist to me and the guy that I probably the most likely to, to go after in a draft.
53:48To me, I think the fact that a Rondae Gadsden is a faller makes me want to draft him more.
53:54Like, I think if you can get him as the last pick in your draft, I think it's a worthy dart throw.
54:00I really do. Like what my, what Mike McDaniel has been able to do with guys like Johnny Smith, Darren Waller at the tight end position in Miami.
54:09A Rondae Gadsden was really good as rookie year.
54:11I mean, he had like over 600 yards. And if he ends up being a guy who was on the field for
54:18more than 75% of the snaps, could be a legitimate player in fantasy.
54:22I agree with both of you. I think Stefan Diggs is a really good value, even with Laramie Tunsil's injury at left tackle.
54:28I just think Diggs, again, being top 10 in yards per route run and top 10 in first downs per route run
54:35as a receiver and then entering this Washington offense.
54:38He just, I am, he, I think Diggs is, he's just a really, he's still got it, man.
54:43He's still a good player. And so I think he's not going to, you're going to be able to get Diggs at a huge value.

55:09Okay. Other news. Craig, you flagged that the Rams and 49ers have different Australia plans for travel.
55:14I am fascinated by this. So week one, the Niners and Rams are playing in Australia.
55:18They have completely different travel plans. One, the Niners are going to get there a week early and try to acclimate.
55:25And the Rams are going to fly in like the day before the game and just kind of ride the adrenaline, play
55:31and get right back on the plane. They're not going to go to sleep at all.
55:36They're just going to go right to the game.
55:38Just, they're just going to rip monster energies and play through the game.
55:42This is what the Rams did last year. They went to London.
55:46They did the same thing. They arrived the morning of the game.
55:49They beat the Jags 35 to seven and then they left.
55:53That's crazy. They arrived the morning of? I think I missed that.
55:56This was from Dan Graziano's report in ESPN from last week.
55:59Because they're basically like trying to acclimate over the week is too difficult.
56:03And so you might as well just avoid it altogether and just basically show up, play a game and then leave, which
56:10I just think is kind of fascinating. I don't know.
56:13What do you guys think about that? Like as you guys have traveled a lot, like, do you feel like day five
56:19into the vacation is going to be a little bit more.
56:22You feel better or day one? Because I almost feel like day one is the worst day.
56:27Yeah. Day one to me is the absolute worst.
56:30I feel like. But I guess if you're really gaming it, you have these nice planes.
56:35You can try to like. Yeah. It's private. Different than how we're flying.
56:39Yes. But like I went to Italy last year with Liz and like the first day was the hardest day of my life.
56:45Like I couldn't keep my eyes. I couldn't walk down the street.
56:49I felt like I was going to die. I mean, being sleep deprived is like being drunk.
56:54I don't understand. But maybe you play better when you're drunk.
56:57That's like beer pong. Yeah. Plenty of players play drunk.
57:00They play. Marshall Lynch famously would take multiple. Plenty of guys take shots before games.
57:05So maybe. I don't know if that means he was drunk, but he took a shot.
57:09I mean, it probably takes a lot for Marshall Lynch to get drunk.
57:13Fair enough. But I think it's weird. I went to Stockholm and I ended up staying jet lag the whole time because the Knicks played a game.
57:21One of the finals at two 50 in the morning.
57:24Yeah. So I, I, we, I just felt like I stayed jet lag the whole time, but Australia is a different animal.
57:31I mean, it's kind of insane. I mean, what, how different is Australia?
57:3412 hours behind. No, they're ahead. Yeah. Or ahead.
57:37Whatever. Yes. Well, it's, it's like basically the longest flight you can take from LA to Sydney.
57:42I mean, I learned that in inception, obviously. It's right.
57:45It's like a 16, 17 hour flight. Um, what I found the most fascinating from 17 hours ahead of Los Angeles.
57:51It's, it's five. So right now, I don't know if we want to tell what time it is exactly here, but it's 12 o'clock.
57:58What are you hiding it? What do you, it's noon.
58:01It's noon. It's noon Pacific right now. I forget when we're, I don't know.
58:05Why do I care? Anyway, it's noon here. I don't know if we want to reveal for the Rams and 49ers.
58:12It's noon o'clock in Sydney. It's tomorrow morning at five 20.
58:15Yeah, dude. I thought the most. I can never wrap my mind around that Australia.
58:19It's Tuesday. It's tomorrow morning. That's so weird. That's why the game for them, for us, it's Wednesday.
58:25For them, it's Thursday though. Or no, sorry. For us, it's Thursday.
58:28For them, it's Friday when they play. But I thought one of the most interesting parts of this whole thing was, this is still from his report.
58:36The Rams had people from their organization fly from LA to Melbourne and back to track when and how much they felt the effects of the jet lag.
58:44They had jet lag scouts. That's amazing. Oh, that's a funny job.
58:48Can you imagine like, what are you doing this week?
58:51I got to go to Melbourne and back because I got to see how shitty I feel for Sean McVay.
58:57And you're like leaving the same day. Someone got to stay in Australia for five days and the other one had to
59:03fly back on the, just fly there and get back on the plane after eight hours.
59:08They had to like work out. Like they flew to Melbourne, like did a really intense workout and then flew back.
59:14Probably. And they had to do a whole, they probably had to track it.
59:18Here's my question. You fly the two guys out there, the two people.
59:22Yeah. How do you think they decided who got to do the five day Australian vacation and who got to just like
59:29get back on the plane the same day? Straw straws.
59:32Straws. Straws. Yeah. Who has more tenure there? I want to know if there's any shot in hell that somebody who did that is listening to this episode.
59:40I'm fascinated by this experiment. Please email us. I want to know what you did.
59:44Like what the math was behind it. I'm just fascinated by the whole thing.
59:49I would like to know some people if they have, what is it called?
59:53Like tricks or tips for traveling internationally where you're going and where you're getting massive amount of jet lag.
59:58How do you beat jet lag? And I want to know the Australians.
60:02See if all the Australians listening. I want to know what they think about this plan and which plans better.
60:08Although I think these short answers, the Niners are crushing it because they're getting as far away from the substation as they can for as long as possible.
60:16They're literally there. Is there a point on earth further from the substation than Melbourne?
60:21Yeah. They are getting out of Dodge as quickly as they possibly can.
60:25If you think about it, like the way the Rams are doing this, they're getting close to a substation.
60:30They're getting close to the electromagnetic field that's in space when they're flying on an airplane.
60:35Yeah. But we've learned. Is there an electromagnetic field in space?
60:38No, I don't know. I feel like you can.
60:41I feel like when you're flying, isn't there like more risk of getting radiation from space or something like that?
60:47I feel like flying a lot is not very good for you.
60:50There's more radiation the further you get from the ground.
60:53What the fuck are you guys talking about? There's radiation.
60:56Dude, our boy Brian Johnston, the guy who wants to live forever, he was talking about, he went to, I think, Australia recently.
61:03And he was talking about how terrible the flight is for your biometrics.
61:07Like it's really bad for your body. Like when you fly in a plane, you are exposed to more radiation because you
61:13are closer to like the atmosphere is thinner up there.
61:16Right. The cosmic radiation is stronger the higher up you are.
61:20It's basically like being next to the 49ers substation.
61:22Right. Although. I don't doubt either of you, but how do both of you know this?
61:27We. How do you know anything? You hear it once and then you believe it.
61:31Airplanes, you're on radio. You're getting radiation. Well, it's not from the plane.
61:35It's from the atmosphere. It's from it's cosmic radiation.
61:38It's not the plane giving you radiation. Yeah. I saw the core with Aaron Eckhart.
61:42Right. I know about the solar winds or whatever.
61:45But then, you know, or whatever. DK. It's through.
61:48Astronauts live super long. So maybe it is good for you.
61:51Do they? Yeah. Maybe. Is that just because they're type A freaks who are good at everything?
61:56I looked into this. We did a movie on the rewatchables.
61:59Freak complimentary. Dude, like Buzz Aldrin's still alive. Right.
62:02Two of the guys from Apollo 13 just died a couple years ago in their 90s.
62:06All these guys, all these astronauts live super long.
62:09Maybe that they were actually replaced by aliens when they went to space and that's not actually them.
62:14That's the conspiracy. How do they do that if they didn't go to space, DK?
62:19Just pretend death. I did the research and the reason why it seems that astronauts live so long is actually way less cool than you think.
62:27I thought it was like special magic space dust that kept them alive as they were touched by the aliens.
62:32But in reality, it's that one, to be an astronaut, you need to be like 0.001% on the health scale.
62:38You need to be like incredibly healthy. And two, astronauts are, I didn't know this, that they get checkups on a yearly
62:45basis to monitor their health through their entire lives.
62:48So why? No, but like I- Because they're studying the effects of space.
62:51Yes, they're studying the effects of space travel. So it's like the second these guys have anything, it's like nipped in the
62:58bud and then they live for it. So. Why were you looking this up?
63:02Oh, because you watched a movie? What movie? It's a rewatchables that's coming that I don't want to spoil.
63:08Okay. Well, it's okay. DK already revealed what time it is.
63:11So, I mean, we already kind of let it out.
63:14I don't know why I cared about that. I can't reveal what time it is.
63:18I don't know if we want to let people know what time it is.
63:22Yeah. We don't want people to know where we are at any given time, you know?
63:27The other thing I wanted to talk about is the Bills have their alternate uniforms, the City Connects, and it's Nickel City,
63:34which is a great name for the Bills alternates.
63:36But the jerseys themselves are just kind of gray.
63:39I don't mean this in a hyperbolic sense. I think these are the worst NFL jerseys I've ever seen.
63:45These are an abomination. I don't know. I get it.
63:47Nickel is gray. But, like, gray is the worst NFL jersey color.
63:51Bar none. It's crazy that they did this because I think these Bills uniforms, we can try to throw the graphic up
63:58on Netflix or Spotify if you're watching or just Google the Bills.
64:01These look like Mac uniforms. They look like the default team in a montage.
64:05Am I wrong? What uniforms, DK? Like a team from the Mac.
64:09I don't know. Oh, my God. They do. Yeah.
64:11It looks like a movie couldn't get NFL rights, so they had to create their own fake team.
64:17Yeah. They're, like, in any given Sunday, like, montage or something.
64:20Yeah. This is a fake team. This looks like some fucking XFL shit.
64:24I can't believe it. Let's try it out for this team.
64:27Yeah, exactly. I saw Josh Allen and he's running out.
64:30I don't know what that was. Was that a real video?
64:33He was, like, in a stadium filled with fans.
64:36But I don't know how that was possible. But, um...
64:39Craig, there's a 250 slide thing on the website for the Bills I'm looking at.
64:43I don't know if I'm going to look at all 250 of these uniforms.
64:47They have 200... You mean the slide of 250 photos of these uniforms?
64:51There's 250 pictures in this slide reel or whatever.
64:54Like, I just don't... It's, like, what if we made a grout fit a uniform?
64:58Like, it's just all gray. It's horrible. It looks like they're in sweats.
65:02And also, the helmets are terrible. At some point, the people designing these uniforms started playing scared.
65:07I know. What did you say? Grout fit? You ever heard of a grout fit?
65:12No, I don't know what that is. It's like when you wear, like, a gray sweatshirt and gray sweats together.
65:18A grout fit? Yeah. Okay. I honestly, like, this might sound arrogant, but, like, I think I could fix the jersey situation in a day.
65:25Yeah, what are you doing with this? I feel like I could just pick every jersey and make them good.
65:31And I would go back. Just look at all the iterations of past Bills jerseys.
65:35I'll just tell you which ones you should pick and iterate off of, and we'd be golden.
65:40It's not that hard. These are so bad. These are terrible.
65:44What's also annoying is it's annoying when they screw up teams that have awesome throwback uniforms.
65:48Sure, yeah. Yeah. Like, the Bills with, like, and the Bills have worn them before, but, like, just the white with just the red buffalo is great.
65:56I totally agree. And I know you, I get this whole thing's a racket where it's like you're just creating more new jerseys to, like, sell them probably.
66:04But. Make them cool. Make them cool. Buy them.
66:07Josh Allen looked lame. I've never said that in my life.
66:10He just got second. He just got second in the hottest thing and he looked bad.
66:15I winced when I saw him. We talked a week ago that Will Levis said there's not 32 quarterbacks better than me.
66:22I'm sending you this. Did you guys see this video?
66:25Will Levis managed to Levis from the practice? He managed to, like, do another really embarrassing Will Levis thing.
66:30Oh. Somehow. Somehow. I did see this. He slipped and fell trying to roll out.
66:35It was great. Okay, I'm watching now. He tries to roll out to the right.
66:39Uh-oh. Doesn't see anybody. Oh, dear. And he fell down.
66:42I don't know if you guys have ever seen my little series on Twitter where it's like, you know, if I was
66:49pretending to be a quarterback and it's just, like, the worst plays I've ever seen in college football.
66:54That looks like this. Yeah. Poor guy. Okay. Emails.
66:56Emails. Many people sent us this, but did you see there was a list going around of the best names in college football?
67:03Oh, no. There's a lot of good ones, though.
67:06There are some incredible. There are always incredible names to college football.
67:09Obviously. Current college. These are players for this season.
67:12Oh, cool. Obviously, we love the old-timey baseball names, but these are 2026 college football players.
67:17Lunch Winfield. Lunch. His name's Lunch. Lunch sounds like an old-timey name.
67:20Yeah, I was going to say. He sounds like he's on the White Sox in 1892.
67:25This is a guy who one time in his first year said, hey, do you guys want to go to lunch?
67:31And then they just called him lunch for the rest of his life.
67:35They're like, lunch? She's a quarterback. Quarterback named Lunch, no less.
67:38When's Lunch? Memphis is a quarterback named Air Noland.
67:41Air Noland. His name's Air. Okay. Is that his real given name?
67:45I don't know. I'm not going to ask that for any of these guys.
67:49Army has a running back named God's Power. Okay.
67:51This guy's on his way to being a general.
67:54I was going to say, I can't figure out which name is more likely to be fake.
67:59God's or Power? General God's Power. No, his first name's God's Power.
68:03His last name's, I believe, Nuawe, but his first name is God's Power.
68:06Oh, his first name's God's Power. That's actually weirdly more believable.
68:10Yeah. There are also running backs this year named Gravy, Turbo, and Tuna.
68:14Gravy. Those are all great. And Tiger. Tuna Altair is maybe my favorite.
68:17Stand for Turbo, Richard, Gravy, Johnson. There is a receiver.
68:20Gravy, Johnson. Dude, Gravy, Johnson. Gravy, Johnson. Of course, it had to be Johnson.
68:24Gravy, Johnson. It's a tight end named Ocean Brabs.
68:27Ocean spelled like ocean? Yes. Exactly. Like ocean. Yeah.
68:30Ocean Brabs. Oklahoma's got a tight end named Rocky Beers.
68:33Whoa. Come on. Holy shit. Rocky Beers? That's the most frat star name of all time.
68:37Wow. Rocky Beers. That's funny. UTEP is a tight end named Cash Cheeks.
68:41Oh, no. That's a stripper name if I've ever heard one.
68:45I guess. Cash Cheeks being a tight end. Oh, it's tight end.
68:48You'd think there's something there. We got a linebacker named Fat Forest.
68:52That's the best one. That's the best one right there.
68:55F-A-T? F-A-T-T. F-A-T-T. Oh, that means it's like a real name, which is even cooler.
68:59Fat Forest. Two T's, two R's. Fat Forest. Man.
69:02Chance Gamble. Okay. That's like a freaking Austin Powers name.
69:05Now you're just fucking me. Chance Gamble. D-I-C Hopkins.
69:07D-I-C. And one of... Not to be confused with DeColdest.
69:10No, not DeColdest. D-I-C. And then also my favorite, Ellis Ellis Jr.
69:14Sure. Ellis Ellis. My top three, Rocky Beers, Cash Cheeks, and Fat Forest.
69:18Those are awesome names. Fat Forest is unbelievable. I love Terrence Salami.
69:21Terrence Salami and... I love King Large. King Large.
69:24And Gravy Johnson is good too. Favor Bait. I don't know what to do with that.
69:29Favor Bait. Okay. People also emailed in with Bill's idea about grenades.
69:32Oh, right. I'm going to tell you off the jump.
69:35I don't know if anyone really nailed it. Okay.
69:38Oh. Okay. We got work to do. I don't think it's any emailer's fault.
69:42There's something there. Yeah. But again, if you didn't listen to the last episode, Bill...
69:46How would you explain it, Craig? Bill basically wants that...
69:49The idea was like a grenade. You want to be able to saddle somebody else's team with a bad quarterback for one week during the season.
69:57Can you sabotage someone? Yeah. So people, many people, including Bobby Evans, many people emailed it and pretty quickly nailed down one
70:03part of it, which we somehow did not, which was, you need to roster the bad player on your team and then
70:10you have to hold them and then you have to use it on other people.
70:14Yeah. Which somehow we did not decide, but that's definitely the answer.
70:18Just a point of reference here. Do we... When you're using your grenade on another player, do you like the rule that
70:24it has to be the player, the person that you're playing that week?
70:28Or do you like the chaos thing of you just throw a grenade at someone else who's in a different matchup?
70:34I kind of like the latter. I think it'd be funnier if you're like...
70:39Well... I'm like fucking over Craig, even though he's playing Heifetz this week.
70:42Right. Because if it's like week 13 and you and I are battling to make the playoffs, that makes sense.
70:48Yeah. My question is, could everybody just team up on one guy?
70:52Like, could everybody in the league just give Heifetz a different grenade for 13 straight weeks?
70:57Yes, actually. That would be loud. I like to live in a world where that's possible.
71:01Heifetz is just starting Carson Beck and Deshaun Watson every week?
71:05Wow. I didn't think about it that way. It's a little dangerous.
71:08So here's the thing. People have emailed in. I think there has to be...
71:12It can't be one for each position. Quarterback, running back.
71:15It's got to be quarterback, right? Here's the issue.
71:18If it's super flex, all the quarterbacks are going to be rostered.
71:21Unless you think it's just a bad backup each week.
71:24Well, it's got to be somebody who's starting that isn't rostered.
71:28You can't just... It's boring if it's just you're throwing a player who doesn't play onto another's team, right?
71:33That's the thing. It has to be a quarterback who's playing.
71:36Right. Which you can't... They have to be starting.
71:39And you can't guarantee that happens. Like, if Carson Beck becomes the starter, somebody might add him legitimately, just in case.
71:45And then... That's the thing. That is the flaws.
71:48I think if it was not super flex, it'd be doable.
71:51Yeah. Okay. So no super flex grenades. I think it's a tough thing to do in tandem with super flex.
71:57Because most quarterbacks are rostered. The only idea I heard that I thought tickled me enough to be...
72:02It was an email from Evan. Evan! Ebone. This is not perfect, but there's something here.
72:07Okay. Evan said that for Bill's exercise of grenade quarterback, I propose a hot potato trade exercise with one person in particular.
72:14Tyler Shuck. He says, I think you guys should tinker with the idea of getting shucked.
72:18We're shucking your friends. Okay. I've been shucked him.
72:21And basically, every week, someone can just foist Tyler Shuck onto someone in a 1v1.
72:25You just trade him to someone. What if he's good?
72:28And then you have to play him, and then you have to move on from every week.
72:33So it's the sisterhood of the traveling Tyler Shuck.
72:36And you're shucking someone every week. I like that.
72:39I mean, the name shucking is great, but I do think he might be...
72:43I feel like it has to be like Geno or somebody else that is a little bit more...
72:48Like, Tyler Shuck might just be like the QB9 this year.
72:51I agree. If he was worse, it'd be perfect.
72:54He's just good enough that it might be positive, but getting shucked is so good.
72:59We can't say getting genoed. You have to get shucked.
73:02I mean, what if it's Aaron Rodgers and then you're immunized?
73:05Pass Rodgers around every week. Yeah, you're inoculating each team.
73:08Each roster gets inoculated with Aaron Rodgers. That could work.
73:11A brief immunization. Yeah, that's not bad. A week-long shot in the arm.
73:14And then every week it's a booster. All right, that's...
73:17That's not bad. A week-long shot in the arm.
73:20That's pretty good, Craig. So, the way Evan said it could work is basically you would send Shuck or Aaron Rodgers, and
73:27then you have to play him at quarterback. Like, you have to play Rodgers that week.
73:31And then you have to move on from him the next week.
73:35You have to send him to somebody else every week.
73:38Rodgers kind of fits this perfectly. Rodgers would be really good for the bit.
73:42That would be good. Ah, there's something there. Okay.
73:45That might be something there. Let's noodle on that.
73:47And the last thing I want to say before we get out of here is, Craig, we're doing...
73:53Join our Discord. Bring a fantasy football show. We have Discord.
73:56Get in there if you like Discord. We currently have...
73:59There's a 32-team guillotine league. It's absolutely preposterous. Two teams are getting...
74:02So, a guillotine league is, like, usually, I think, 16 teams, and someone gets chopped every week.
74:07Right. Oh, shit, I'm on the clock. Yeah, you're OGC.
74:10I was going to say, you're on the clock.
74:13Are you going to pick? It's 32 teams. It's insane.
74:16I've never done anything like this. Is Luther Burton still out there, Craig?
74:20You bet your fucking ass he is. I think you better take him.
74:24You're going to make your pick? Craig took Drake...
74:26You took Drake May with your first pick, and I was like, oh, that's interesting.
74:31Were you just afraid you wouldn't get a quarterback?
74:33Yes. I did guillotine for the first time last year, and I realized how important it is to have a good quarterback.
74:40Well, yeah. Luther Burton is there, but so is Abuka, who I have ranked much higher, and I really like Abuka this year.
74:47Craig, come on. What are we doing here? This is your guy.
74:50All right. Maybe Burton will come back around when 14 picks him now.
74:54Yeah. That was... Who gives a shit? Fuck it.
74:57So did you not want Tee Higgins? Tee Higgins right there.
75:00Who cares? That's my whole philosophy. I'm in a 32-team guillotine league.
75:03I'll have a little fun, for Christ's sake. Well, you technically have Tee Higgins ranked higher.
75:08No. My team will suck. Whatever. I'll be out week three.
75:11I literally also kind of want Tee Higgins, but I do keep thinking about how the Bengals have not been good in
75:18the first two weeks of the season in like five years.
75:21Right. You're going to pick him up on the waiver wire in week six.
75:25That's true. If you're still alive. Who can we make Heifetz take?
75:29I'm taking Tee Higgins. Oh, I already made my pick.
75:32Oh, that means I'm on the clock. I should have done it.
75:35I should have took Garrett Wilson a bit, because I shit-talked him so much.
75:40He's probably going to win Offensive Player of the Year.
75:42DK, you have to take Zay Flowers. What if I'm out?
75:46No, you have to take Waddle. You should take Waddle.
75:49Yeah, you got to take Waddle. I thought I was going to take Jaden Daniels.
75:53I regret not doing a bit. Now I feel dumb.
75:56Yeah, that was lame. Oh, I should have taken Scadaboo.
75:59Damn it. Is Jaden Daniels aligned with the bit enough?
76:02Absolutely not. I think you have to take Zay Flowers or Waddle.
76:05Or Scadaboo. Oh, God. Take Aaron Rodgers. I don't like any of these.
76:09Come on. All right, I'm taking Zay Flowers. My God, really?
76:13Did he just get hurt? Why did you guys tell me this?
76:16He's a giant bruise. I just took a guy who was out for a month.
76:21We all made our picks already. Oh, man. Whatever, dude.
76:24All right, I forgot. Who did I pick first?
76:26You know. Oh, I picked CD Lamb. So now I have two receivers.
76:30All right. Yikes. Thank you, DK. Thank you, Craig.
76:33Thank you, everyone in the Discord. Join the Discord.
76:35Email us from your fancy football at gmail.com. We want Australians.
76:39Tell us about us traveling to and from Australia.
76:41Jet lag, science, whatever. And then. Yeah, email us about whatever.
76:44Stick with us. Rankings are fancy football dot the rear dot com.
76:48Who's on millennial bangers duty today? I think it's Greg.
76:51Thank you. I'm always on call. Okay. Thank you, DK.
76:54Thank you, Craig. Thank you, Cam. Thank you, Nikhil.
76:57Thank you, Austin. Thank you, Abu. Thank you, Carlos.
76:59Thank you, everyone. Thank you, Lord. Lord. All right.
77:02We're going to go with. We haven't really mentioned a whole lot of T-Pain, who is the goat.
77:07Wow. But I don't want to go. There's Bartender.
77:10There's Buy You a Drink. Classics. Sure. But I want to dig a little deeper than that.
77:15There's a song called All The Above by Mayno from 2009 featuring T-Pain.
77:19Banger. Absolute banger. This does not ring a bell.
77:21I'm going to have to listen to this. Fire that up.
77:25It's like a symphony of T-Pain. It's so good.
77:27I feel like I'm in church when I listen to it.
77:31Oh, yeah. What's the song called? I know the song, Craig.
77:34It's called All The Above. Whoa. Which is kind of what he's also doing on I Just Had Sex.
77:39It's great. This does sound like Lonely Island. It's a symphony, dude.
77:43This sounds exactly like the beginning to I Just Had Sex.
77:46Yeah. I feel like I'm levitating. It's like the same thing.
77:49I feel like I'm levitating. I Just Had Sex, though, is Akon, not T-Pain.
77:54You have a T-Pain on there, isn't he? But listen to the beginning of I Just Had Sex.
77:59It's like identical. It's like the same thing. I Just Had Sex, also banger.
78:03But All The Above, dude, they don't make them like that.
78:06I don't think I've heard this in like 10 years.
78:09Yeah. So good. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. All The Above.
78:12All The Above. Whoa. It's good. Tell me, what do you see?
78:15See when you're looking at me? Me. That's great.
78:18I'm looking at the YouTube video of this, and the first comment is, this is literally one of the greatest rap songs ever written.
78:25Dude, it's good. It's really good. I don't know what to tell you.
78:29T-Pain's a legend. T-Pain is so savvy, dude. T-Pain can sing.
78:32That's the funny thing. He has a great voice.
78:35He just was smart and savvy and figured out how to make the autotune thing work.
78:40And he's killing it. T-Pain has one of the best Tiny Desks.
78:43Yeah. He's just sitting there singing acapella. He's just like, let me buy you a drink at Tiny Desk.
78:49It's amazing. He's great. Good Instagram lives. Okay. T-Pain was, I think, he was at the Ringer doing something with Mal and Jason for Talk to Thrones.
78:57I think my second week of work at the Ringer.
79:00I was an intern. Oh, wow. I didn't know that.
79:03And I had to do an Instagram story for the Ringer account.
79:06And it was one of the first 30 things I had to do with this company was someone was like, you have
79:13to go talk to T-Pain right now. And I was like, and I think I went up to him and I felt like Cousin Greg.
79:20And I was like, so do I? Excuse me, Mr.
79:23Payne? Mr. Payne? Mr. I can't call him T.
79:26That's Mr. Payne. Can I? He was like the nicest guy, but I felt so stupid.
79:30I think I said Mr. T-Pain. I think that's what I went up for.
79:35I think it went. Could you? Because I don't want to be like, I'm like 22.
79:39What am I going to do? Just say, hey, T-Pain, get over it.
79:43It is tricky. I don't know what you hate.
79:46You're not going to be like, hey, T-Pain. Yeah.
79:48Why not? T-Pain, T-Pain. Like Mr. You know, I don't know.
79:52How do you formally address T-Pain? I think I called him Mr.
79:55Payne or Mr. T-Pain. You can't call him Mr.
79:58T. That's for sure. Mr. Payne works. No, you can't call him T.
80:02There are certain names. Like, how do you formally address Jay-Z?
80:05Would you go Mr. Carter? Honestly, I think you got to go Hove.
80:09You have to call Hove. You have to. I would love to see you hit him with a Hove.
80:14What's up, man? I also think you got to do that, Hybit.
80:18How would you? Well, you know how I talked to Jerry Jones.
80:22Nice to see you again. I know, right? There you go.
80:25Then you turn around on him. He's trying to rack his brain as who you are.
80:30There you go. Nightmare scenario. Jay-Z and Beyonce. Are you going Hove and Miss Knowles?
80:34Like, what are you doing? You get like a syllable out and then the largest bodyguards you've ever seen are tossing you out.
80:41Like Messi's security guards are just launching you back into the stone age.
80:45Have you ever seen how big Messi's bodyguards are?
80:47No. Yeah. Google Messi bodyguards. I think it's familiar.
80:50They're like Johnny Bravo. They're the biggest guys you've ever seen.
80:53Well, compared to Messi. Sorry, that was low-hanging fruit.
80:56That was also low-hanging fruit. Oh, maybe you're right.
80:58Maybe I've only seen him next to Messi. Maybe he's not that big.
81:02Damn, you're right. I probably just saw him next to Messi and just thought he was like 6'8".
81:08He's just normal size. It's like the Odyssey thing.
81:10Yeah, exactly. He just looks like a giant. Yeah.
81:13Oh, my God. Okay. Anyway, all the above, T-Pain.
81:16Listen to that. It'll be on the playlist that we share at the end of the month.
81:21I added it. I don't know why that's funny.
81:23I just like it. You're saving it till the end of the month.
81:27Well, I got to compile it and then I'll release it.
81:30We can't release it now. Careful, TK. You can't reveal what time it is.
