1:09For the Ringer Fantasy Football Show, my name is Danny Heifetz, and I am joined by Danny Kelly and Craig Horlbeck for
1:16our first episode from our regular studio setup since I got married.
1:19It's been like a couple weeks. The Giants completely imploded while I unplugged from the NFL.
1:24So we're going to get to that in a minute.
1:27Although you're listening to this. Go Knicks. Yeah, go Knicks.
1:30Incredible. You're listening to this June 1st or whenever we put this episode up.
1:34We are recording it May 26th. The Knicks swept.
1:37So the Knicks have not played since. So there you go.
1:40Which one do you want to explain the stupid thing we're doing here with potential record breakers?
1:45But it's actually not stupid. I love it. I can do that.
1:48Yeah, we looked at some of the all time legendary seasons in fantasy football.
1:53LaDainian Tomlinson, you know, basically records that feel like they're unbreakable, but maybe actually not are not unbreakable, especially now that we're
1:59going to 17, 17 game season, maybe 18 game season eventually.
2:02But yeah, we're going to look at those and then try and figure out who has the best shot to break those records in 2026 and why.
2:10And maybe some dark horse options in those. Yeah, it's like looking at the ceiling plays for guys this year.
2:16If any of if we you know, because sometimes not necessarily the best pick in fantasy is the one that you think could break a record.
2:24It's kind of like risk reward. So we'll get into that.
2:27Yeah, it's like if someone came back from the future and was like, hey, someone's going to run for 2000 yards this year.
2:34Who is it going to be? And it almost clarifies like the upside of a lot of the players and upsets what matters.
2:41So I want to start though. Well, actually, I guess we should start with the Giants imploding.
2:46Is this really last week tonight? Since people are going to listen to this in June, it happened like a week or two ago at this point.
2:53But Heifetz is riding too high off of this marriage thing after getting married.
2:58Heifetz got married. Yeah, Aaron Rodgers signed with the Steelers the night of Heifetz's wedding.
3:02And then Jackson Dart introduces Donald Trump and Abdul Carter is tweeting about it.
3:06And it's been great. And also, amid all that, Joe Shane, the Cuck chair GM got extended, a contract extension.
3:12Get an even bigger chair. It's like a Barker lounger.
3:15Roy Robertson here. Exactly. It's a nice chair. He got a nice chair now for the corner.
3:20Their defensive tackle, the other defensive tackle, not Dexter Lawrence, who started all 17 games last year, tore his Achilles.
3:26And then it came out that Malik Nabors got a cleanup procedure on his knee where he tore his ACL last year and his meniscus.
3:33And then he got a cleanup procedure and they hope he's back for week one, which is totally different than like the beginning of training camp.
3:41That all happened in like a five day period.
3:43Ultimately, like we're laughing about the Joe Shane thing.
3:46Like the Jackson Dart Trump thing is a funny storyline that's going to dominate headlines for a little while.
3:52But the Malik Nabors news is actually by far the most impactful, don't you think?
3:56Like there's a chance this guy is never the same as what he was as a rookie.
4:01Jesus! I mean, I'm just saying I'm saying what everyone else is also waiting.
4:05Right. Like his knee is kind of fucked up.
4:08That's why he's had had has had these setbacks.
4:11Now, Adam Schefter is like, I don't know what I'm hearing.
4:14It's not great. Here's what I'm hearing. Here's the question.
4:17Heifetz, are you regret? Are you already regretting Arvel Reese at five?
4:20Should you have taken a wide receiver now that if you don't have Malik Nabors, you're going to be trotting out this
4:27season with Darius Slayton for the ninth season in a row and Calvin Austin?
4:31I don't know if Darius Slayton's going to play.
4:33He had abdominal muscle surgery. He might not have been ready.
4:37Maybe Calvin Austin and Darnell Mooney. I, you know, it's funny that you know who else?
4:41You know who was upset about the Arvel Reese pick?
4:44Malik Nabors, who bitched about it on a Bleach Report live stream when the Giants took Arvel Reese at five.
4:50He's like, we have our, we have Abdul Carter for that spot, which different position.
4:55Then they took. What position is he going to play?
4:58Then they took Marino at 10 and he's like, I can't believe we didn't take Caleb Downs.
5:03And I'm like, shut the fuck up, Malik. God damn it.
5:06Stop complaining. Quit killing the vibes. Fuck man. So, so Heifetz, if you, if you had to quickly power rank the, the,
5:12the worst vibes news out of the Giants in the last two weeks, what's number one?
5:17Uh, in the moment, it was kind of wild to see dart come out and like introduce Trump.
5:22And then Abdul Carter is like beefing with him on Twitter.
5:25And it's one of those where, wow. You're going to get political.
5:29Really? The neighbors cleanup surgery is not worse. No, that's, that's where I'm going.
5:33I'm saying that's the larger story. Obviously it also like everyone understands that like people disagree with them and everyone will move on from the dark thing.
5:41Like it doesn't actually matter. I don't think he, I will say though, like his nickname might last forever.
5:47We're calling him J six now. It's JD six.
5:49Uh, by the way, Abdul Carter tweeted after, after like, after saying this whole thing on Twitter about, I was like, what the hell, man?
5:57I thought this was a E or AI. He's like, what was that?
6:00A E. I don't know where that came from.
6:03AI. You ever hear Boris Johnson say AI? He's like, I, I was like, he's the running.
6:08He just says, I, I reads it, reads it.
6:11Um, then, and then Carter came back and said, don't worry.
6:14JD six. And I are good. We talked the media.
6:17You guys are out of control. It's like, you tweeted it.
6:20Justin Timberlake in the social network. Just like J six.
6:23He's like, you guys got to calm down. Fucking media ran wild with this.
6:27Like you literally tweeted. I thought this was AI.
6:30This sucks. It's like, what are we supposed to do?
6:33Is it the Eric Andre meme where he's like, he shoots the guys killed Hannibal.
6:37I, he literally shoots him and he goes, who killed Hannibal?
6:40But that was also the dark thing too. It's like one of the, it's, it's not, it's obviously wading into politics.
6:47It's not, it's a political version of what Baker Mayfield did all the progressive commercials after one season where it's like Jackson Dart.
6:53Like you had like a couple of good months.
6:56You couldn't stay healthy. Wading into politics when it, I mean, there's a difference between voting for Trump and like introducing him.
7:03Oh, I thought you were making a pun like progressives versus conservatives.
7:06No, that would have been funny. Like Baker Mayfield did a progressive commercial.
7:10Oh, there we go. That's a good point. And Dart is doing a conservative commercial.
7:14That would have been good. I wish I was smart enough for that.
7:18No, I just like, I don't know. It's like, it is quite, I don't know any player just kind of doing that.
7:25Like it, it is, you are the idea that you're like, I can't believe my teammates didn't react to this well.
7:31It's like a little bit like naive. Like it's an incredibly divisive human being and you go out there on stage and introduce him.
7:38That is the divisive. This may or may not be the point.
7:41But I think the story that will actually, it's not, no one's, it will literally be more of a meme online with
7:48scataboo and dart that it will be impactful to the season.
7:51The Mike neighbors knee issue is that will actually affect the giant season to Craig's point about, or is Darnell Mooney going to be starting for this team?
7:59Because not to get too in the weeds with knee injuries, not like I'm a fricking doctor, but when you have ACL,
8:06basically they wait two weeks for the swelling to go down to do the surgery.
8:10But when you have a meniscus that also delays the surgery and also delays the recovery.
8:15So when you're like, Oh, ACL meniscus, it's kind of just a line people read.
8:19And then you forget to even include it. They're like, he tore his ACL.
8:23He had a full Malik neighbors had a full meniscus repair as well.
8:27So he didn't get the surgery till almost Halloween.
8:30And then the fact that he's getting a cleanup in May is that mean what it was.
8:35It was to repair lingering stiffness, which you can fill in your own jokes there.
8:39But yeah, that's not good. Especially when four hours, consult your doctor after four months, if it's still stiff, consult your doctor.
8:46And I guess that's what they had to do.
8:48But like, yeah, his, what is Malik neighbors whole thing going back to when he was a prospect man moves different.
8:55Yeah. So now there's, I think Harbaugh was saying they're hoping he can be ready to go by the beginning of the season.
9:01Like it's always these updates where the timeline has moved so far back from what you were expecting that it gets really worried.
9:08I mean, now, I mean, you're looking at Malik neighbors who might not be ready.
9:12And even if he is ready, might not be fully himself.
9:16Week one, you have Kim Scadaboo coming off a really brutal injury to his foot ankle.
9:20Don't worry. Kim Scadaboo said he would run for three Jicarious and have 2000 yards.
9:25Right. You have Dart who got hurt every other game because he's making reckless decisions on the field and off the field
9:31now, perhaps a little bit in the media. This is, I, are the giants already, is it already over?
9:37All the way back. I feel like, I feel like they were the Patriots.
9:41Everyone a month ago would have been like, who's the Patriots of this season that people would have bet the New York Giants.
9:48It's we're recording this on May 26. I think it's already over.
9:51The Patriots, the team that'll burn really bright and then get blown out and like just fizzle out and personal failure.
9:57No, I, there's a lot of big personalities in this team.
10:01Yeah. I mean, you know what I mean? Malik neighbors is, I mean, he was tweeting about coaches throwing games sometimes during
10:07the lions law overtime game that the giants played.
10:10And then like deleted it immediately. Malik neighbors tweets and live streams.
10:13Cam Scadaboo is always live streaming saying dumb shit.
10:16Like Abdul Carter tweets a lot. All you guys are really online.
10:20I still think athletes and everything now with athletes and what they say.
10:23It's just what I always go back to Michael Irvin stabbed the guy in the neck during training camp.
10:29And then no one even found out for years.
10:32The bulls didn't have the internet. Yeah, exactly. Imagine if Michael Jordan had a fucking burner.
10:36Can you imagine? Like, Oh my God. He's tweeting out like the bulls are a traveling cocaine circus or whatever and it's fucking burner.
10:43Um, but no, it's just, it's a giants of a lot, but I don't know.
10:48I'm concerned. The defensive tackles Lawrence and Roy Robertson Harris being gone like Thanos snap.
10:52And then Malik neighbors having the issue. Yeah. I'm a little concerned.
10:56Question for you. High hits. Does the fact that the Knicks went are going to the finals smooth all this out?
11:02Like tell, I wanted a hundred percent. Yes. Let's get some positivity going here.
11:06They sucked all the good vibes from the giants.
11:09I don't give a fuck. I first of all, we can actually talk about this.
11:13Now the giants are dead, but who cares? The Knicks might win the finals.
11:17So the NBA, we can actually talk about this because the finals are June 3rd, Wednesday, and this is going to come up Monday.
11:24I will say the, we recorded this Tuesday last night, the Knicks beat the brakes off the Cavs.
11:30I have to say, I don't, I look, we'll see if the Knicks win the finals, whether they do or not.
11:36I don't know if I've ever rooted for a team that has ever had as good of a stretch as they just did like that.
11:43They, they, they have the Knicks just had the best point differential of any 11 game stretch in the history of the NBA regular season or playoffs.
11:51I understand that the East is a little weaker, but they did it during the playoffs, which is crazy.
11:57And they actually, I've never rooted for a team that absolutely broke the will of every team.
12:02They played for three rounds in a row. They were up 50 points on the Hawks in the first half, which had never been done.
12:09Like they just absolutely obliterated the Sixers and they made the Cavs quit in every single game.
12:14I've never, I actually was so happy watching the Knicks play.
12:17We'll see what happens in the finals, but like they have stolen the will to compete from every team they played.
12:23It's fucking sick. They've won 11 straight. They, and their only two losses were by one point each to Atlanta.
12:29Yes. So they've literally, they've, they're only losses that have been by combined two points and their wins are like by 600 or something.
12:36If you add it all up, the Knicks are cool because not only is like the celebrity row at Knicks games right now at MSG is so sick.
12:44It's like Stiller and Chalamet and Spike Lee vibes are great there.
12:48And the Knicks themselves. I just feel like the Knicks are so likable.
12:52And I, the Carmelo Knicks, when they were kind of making a run, they were not that likable of a team.
12:58This team is like the only team in the NBA that feels like a college team.
13:03I know there's the whole Villanova thing, but like even outside of that, the way they play, MSG just feels old school.
13:09I feel like I'm watching Oracle 15 years ago.
13:12It's just fucking awesome. And everyone seems like they're on the same page.
13:16They know their roles. It's just great vibes. Craig, I was going to say the same thing.
13:21As someone who is not plugged into the NBA at all, like watching the crowd reactions to things that the Knicks do.
13:27I'm like, damn, this is old 90s NBA where the just the feeling in the stadiums was electric.
13:32Obviously, maybe it still is, but whatever. That's just how it felt to me.
13:37I was like, damn, this is like nostalgic watching the Knicks.
13:40And like Jalen Brunson is an amazing player. Like the things he does.
13:44I don't know. It's just a lot of fun to watch.
13:47This is coming from someone who doesn't really know anything about the NBA.
13:51The Knicks. I love the Knicks too, because it is a reversion to almost a pre free agency era NBA where it's
13:57almost a reversion back to its chemistry and culture over this mercenary era of like, we'll just go and get that.
14:03No offense, Craig, but the Durant to the Warriors and the idea we'll get a big three and everything.
14:09And then to have, I mean, look, honestly, Josh Hart and Brunson, they have the podcast called roommates.
14:14You watch the press conferences and you see why they're succeeding where it's like, they actually are friends and there's no like
14:21work awkwardness, like the culture and like putting Towns into the culture of the Nova thing where they won a championship.
14:27You've seen Carl Anthony Towns have this like seriousness that frankly kind of lacked.
14:31I don't know. They're fucking awesome to watch. I love everyone.
14:34I think loves this. But when a New York team is scrappy, I think that's kind of like everyone's favorite kind of
14:41team to watch when you have an awesome offense that also is like out physical.
14:45Like you're just more physical and you kind of want rebounds more than everyone.
14:49That's kind of the most fun team to root for.
14:52And yeah, they might get waxed in the finals.
14:55But if you're ever going to ask for a shot when you get a sweep and you get nine days off and
15:01the Thunder and Spurs are beating the shit out of each other, then yeah, it's the Knicks might win the championship like that.
15:08I never thought I'd say that my entire life.
15:11Also don't pretend like if the best player in the NBA was like, what can I sign with the Knicks that the Knicks wouldn't be like, yep.
15:19Like you'd be like, they would never sign Kevin Durant in his prime.
15:22Yeah, but Craig's like, how dare you? That was a stray.
15:26I'm not going to let that. I don't even need to respond because everyone knows who they feel.
15:31It's like, I'm just saying. Like everyone. I'm not saying it's cool that it happened, but like, don't pretend as if pick
15:37Jokic next year is like, can I go to the Knicks that the Knicks would be like, it's not the right fit.
15:44No, of course not. But like put it this way.
15:47I don't put an asterisk on like the Warriors titles, but when other people put half of one, I'm like, I don't even argue.
15:54I'm like, yeah, it was weird. That was weird that that happened.
15:57Can they also get an asterisk on the 2020 2016 loss or no, that's not an asterisk.
16:02We didn't have to rant. Yeah. The asterisk is you blew it.
16:06You know what? DK doesn't give a fuck. Because Draymond got suspended.
16:09There's no. Draymond has ruined all benefit of the doubt.
16:12No, that's that one. Absolutely not. That was just bubbling.
16:15Heifetz. Stefan Bogut incredibly injured. Okay. Yeah, no, we don't have to talk about that.
16:20Okay. With that said, anything else? Sorry. We just spent 10.
16:23DK's out here saying Malik Davis will never be the fucking same.
16:26And you're upset that I talked about your team that won three titles nine years ago.
16:31Anyway, with that said, not a dynasty, the record breakers.
16:34I want to go through this. Six finals in eight years.
16:37No, they won four of them. It's what you, why did you say three?
16:41You didn't even mention the fourth 2022 means nothing to you.
16:45Okay. That's the best one. Durant list. Why is that the best one?
16:49Uh, anyway, that's one. Cause Steph won an MVP.
16:51That's why the cemented the dynasty in my opinion.
16:54It's a dynasty. The, I want to go through this and I do like this exercise.
16:59Cause I think that we talk a lot about upside and it mattering, but I do think you're done with the giants.
17:05We're off the giants. You tell me, is there anything else?
17:08Oh, I guess to your point, I do think it probably helped.
17:12I do think the giant stuff would be a bigger deal.
17:15If the Knicks had been eliminated. Yeah. If they'd not made the playoffs, the Knicks being in the finals has absorbed everything.
17:21Uh, cause there's no Nets fans. It's like New York has two hockey, two basketball, two baseball, two football.
17:27Like the one roots for the fucking Nets, man.
17:30Let me ask you this. The New York giants win total seven and a half.
17:34How do you feel about that right now? I think that the rush to crown next year's Patriots has been really overrated for a variety of reasons.
17:42I feel like I'm going to pick them to finish last in the NFC East.
17:46The now. Yeah. Cause of which one neighbors. I mean, neighbors is a big deal.
17:51The interior defensive line. And now I'm just kind of like, oh, I think this offense might struggle much more than I,
17:57I thought it would be okay enough. And dart would progress in his second year enough to make this offense exciting and, and decent.
18:04And now I'm like, oh, this might be a real growing pain season.
18:08Once again, just because of the lack of health on the offensive side of the ball.
18:13I'm it's not hard. Look, obviously the giants could be good.
18:16Cause I think Jackson's are it's good. And even with the mobility, he can play from the pocket.
18:21And I'm convinced of that. Yeah. It's not hard to envision next off season saying, well, you know, Todd, John Harbaugh really
18:28wanted Todd Monk and to be the offensive coordinator.
18:31And Todd Monk and led to Lamar's best seasons of his career and MVP awards.
18:35And then Todd Monk and got the Browns job.
18:38And so they had to kind of scramble and hire Matt Nagy.
18:41And then they brought Greg Roman back and Greg Roman.
18:44You know what I mean? Greg Roman, Matt Nagy is the offensive staff.
18:48Brian Callahan. Should we be shocked that 2026 didn't go well with Malik neighbors coming off this injury?
18:53I mean, it's not weird to me to think that the giants would be overrated.
18:58I also think the idea of, well, who's this year's Patriots?
19:01And I'm like, this is the same thing to me as we need a Debo Samuel in this year's draft, or we need a McCaffrey.
19:08You mean the thing that doesn't happen very often?
19:11Like the Patriots, they could be this year's Patriots.
19:13The team that goes from worst place to has the easiest schedule in the NFL and makes a super bowl.
19:19Like that doesn't fucking happen all the time. Well, I don't think it's like 12 games.
19:24I think it's more like, I mean, every year there is usually like, I don't know the commanders the year before that, like there is usually every year.
19:32There usually is a team that like over exceeds expectations by four wins.
19:36That does usually happen once every year or two.
19:39DK, what do you think? Because when I look at the giants, I just keep thinking about how everyone's like padding and
19:45the giants on the back for the Dexter Lawrence trade.
19:48And I'm like, okay, well, I think they gave up a top five defensive lineman in the NFL for Maui Noah, who
19:55I like, but also like that will be bad in 2026 before it's good later.
19:59He's also starting out at guard. Yeah. I'm like, they traded defensive tackle for a guard who is a herniated disc.
20:05I don't think that's a good September move. I lean the under on seven.
20:09What was it? Seven and a half. Yeah. I lean the under.
20:13Sorry. It's I love that. It's may under. Sorry.
20:16Vibes are horrific right now. We'll see how that changes going forward.
20:19Also the schedule, the Cowboys week one, then they play the Rams and then the Titans, which is versus Brian Dable, which
20:26if you lose to that one, that, that, that one's kind of tough.
20:29And then the Cardinals are in week four, which God, if they better beat the fucking Cardinals, but like, um, yeah, I
20:36think the Harbaugh factor and like what, how big of an impact that makes is the thing that I'm grappling with.
20:42And I'm not sure on, it's one of those where everyone's everyone agrees that it's a great move, but, and no one
20:48ever, including us really mentioned how much the Ravens fans were fine to let John Harbaugh go.
20:53So yeah, which is, we'll see. We'll see if he can prove them wrong.
20:58This episode is brought to you by Hulu praised as Hulu's fresh spin on crime comedy.

21:45I want to get to this record breaker thing, which again, it's just the idea that like someone came back and told
21:52us that this record is going to get broken this year and we'd be shocked.
21:56And I want to start with a record that we almost talk about.
22:00Don't talk about enough in a player that I think doesn't get his flowers, if you will, which is LaDainian Tomlinson who I'm curious what you think, Craig.
22:08I think LaDainian Tomlinson is the single best player from my childhood with the ratio is completely off and how much he's discussed.
22:15LaDainian Tomlinson is the best running back of my youth period.
22:18And then Adrian Peterson replaced him. But I feel like you hear about Adrian Peterson all the time.
22:23You hear about Barry Sanders, even Walter Payton. Tomlinson just gets erased, even though he averaged a touchdown a game for like nine years.
22:30A hundred percent agree. He is the reason I think I fell in love with fantasy football was LT.
22:36He, I had a, the first jersey I ever bought, which makes no sense was a number 21 Chargers jersey just because.
22:43Really? Yeah. Cause he was just like the fucking coolest.
22:45He was throwing touchdowns, catching touchdowns and running touchdowns all in the same game.
22:50I mean. Great touchdown celebration. Iconic. Yeah. The visor.
22:52Yeah. The visor. He looked awesome. I think he's why I think 21 is the coolest running back number.
22:58Um, that 2006 season, let's go through it. He had 455 fantasy points, which if you, it's easier to understand what that
23:04means in terms of fantasy points per game, 28, 20 points per game.
23:08LT was putting up on a, he ran for 1800 yards, 28 touchdowns.
23:12He, he, he had another 500 yards receiving. He caught three touchdowns and then he threw two more.
23:17So we have 33 total touchdowns that season. That's fucking crazy.
23:20Yeah. I mean, there was no more guarantee inside the red zone than LT will score in some fashion.
23:26He averaged over two touchdowns a game. Yeah. Think about it.
23:29Think about how many people in that year had him and didn't win their fantasy league, like 12%.
23:35Yeah. Like how could you not win with that guy on your team?
23:38This is the one that's going to be the hardest to break.
23:42Like the, like, honestly, that's really the answer DK.
23:45What you just said, which is, I don't know if there will ever be a season like this, where the gap between
23:51the dating Tomlinson and the next best player is like, you basically were automatically in the finals.
23:56If you draft the dating Tomlinson, like the league was over with the first pick.
24:00No, one's really even gotten close. That's the thing.
24:03Like it would be, it, it pretty much has to be a running back.
24:07If you look at, uh, I went through and I looked at like the best fantasy performances, removing quarterbacks over the last
24:14like 20 years, uh, the, the top 18, 17 of them are running backs.
24:18The only, the only one is Cooper cup who is seventh, um, which is extremely impressive.
24:23So it would have to be a running back.
24:25And it really has to be a blend of like, they're clearly the best player on the team.
24:30They have a great situation that red zone. There's like no one else, but them.
24:35I mean like Jonathan Taylor was on a tear a little bit last year, but even he was not on an LT pace.
24:42I don't know what we'd have to see if like, you know, David Montgomery's gone and Detroit for like Jameer Gibbs to just become an absolute maniac.
24:50But I almost think like the, the, the, the lions pass too much.
24:53And it, it, it's just remarkable that somebody like LT was able to do this in a season.
24:59It doesn't make 33 touchdowns is ludicrous. The crazy thing about his season actually had 31 touchdowns on not throwing.
25:05Right. Right. Um, and that came the year after Sean Alexander set the record for most touchdowns ever, which was 28 at the time.
25:12This used to be a thing when Craig and I were kids and DK, you were older.
25:17Like it, this was the record that fell every year.
25:20It was the rushing touchdown record. It was priest Holmes did it.
25:23And then it was Sean. And then you got 2003 and then Sean Alexander did it.
25:28And then let Danny Tomlinson did it and then just put it away.
25:32But like that record was in pace every year and you heard about it every week.
25:36And it wasn't like hyperbole. Like you actually would count up a running back whether they could do it and you kept
25:43track and then they would break the record, which I just feel like doesn't happen anymore.
25:47Well, that was the golden age. I mean, if you look at it, I'm looking at the records now.
25:53I have it's in priest Holmes did in 2002 and 2003.
25:56That's so cool. Set new records for most touchdowns.
25:59Marshall Falk had the record in 2000 for 26 total touchdowns.
26:02So yeah, it was, it was like the early two thousands were the true golden age, especially like in fantasy of running
26:09backs where they're just scoring a ton of touchdowns.
26:11Teams are not using any other guys. Quarterbacks didn't run.
26:14Like the problem is, Derek Henry is a name that I put would have thought of as the guy who could break this.
26:21But I'm like, even just, even though Lamar is not, doesn't run quite the same as he used to.
26:27Like just because of that, I don't think Derek Henry is going to have, could get to 28 touchdowns.
26:32Also Derek Henry doesn't catch any passes. It's really unique that LT was able to run that many and still be like
26:39really good in the LT had a season with a hundred catches.
26:42I believe like he fucking could do everything. It's insane.
26:45And it's all, and the thing about Derek Henry doing it is the truth is Derek Henry is not a great short
26:52yardage back, which is the funniest part. Is he really like, Oh yeah, we got into that.
26:57We've talked about that, but like Saddam's statue, get him before the head of steam.
27:01It's like Saddam Hussein statue, just toppling just like the dictator statue.
27:05If there's one yard to gain, like I would rather give the ball to 20 other guys.
27:10It's honestly, Derek Henry has so much in common with LeBron James.
27:13He's not like the greatest of all time in this sport, but the way that they age is incredible.
27:19They're clearly different. Like Derek Henry could go on and on and the jokes about LeBron going on forever.
27:24And yet if you had a free throw to win a game, like I actually wouldn't pick LeBron.
27:30I might pick four or five other players on his team every year other than LeBron.
27:34And Derek Henry is the same way. I'm like, I don't know if I want him to do this right now, but
27:41I will say, I think the more likely thing I'm bringing them the Daneen Thomas and the total fantasy points, which I
27:47don't know if we'll ever be broken, is the Eric Dickerson has the rushing yards record still for it's like 2,105 yards.
27:54Saquon kind of could have gotten a couple years ago in 17 games and he didn't really go for it.
28:00Nine guys have hit 2000, which if you're being honest, 2000 yards is almost the number hitting two K's cool.
28:05And then the record record would be cool, but it's almost like gravy.
28:09And I was the list of guys who could hit 2000 yards feels robust.
28:13Like there are a lot of guys that could do it.
28:17We're in a good spot right now with running backs.
28:20I think you could realistically say that Jameer Gibbs, B.
28:22John Robinson, especially now that Algier and David Montgomery are gone.
28:26Jameer Gibbs, B. John Robinson, Derek Henry, Saquon McCaffrey, Jonathan Taylor.
28:29I think all those guys could hit 2000 and I wouldn't be shocked.
28:33You could probably even add a couple more, but I think those are like the first tier.
28:38You know, it's so funny. I was going through the list.
28:41DK. I don't know if you want to stump for the old guys.
28:45I was going through the list here and I was like, Derek Henry had the 11th most rushing yards in a season ever.
28:52Two years ago. I know like he had 19.
28:54He almost Derek Henry almost at 2000 yards a second time in 2024.
28:58He is the perfect example of a modern era running back who gets used like an old school era running back in
29:04terms of just they're not afraid to feed him the rock at all.
29:08I mean, I looked at just the past five years in terms of running back carries per game and Derek Henry owns the top two.
29:16Obviously, he averaged 27 carries a game in 2021 20 almost 22 carries a game in 2022.
29:21He also is number nine and number 18 on that list.
29:24Last year, he averaged 18 carries a game. I think if you look at what the only the only issue with Henry
29:30that I see right now is that he's on the same team as Lamar Jackson, who's going to run a lot.
29:37But if they decide not to run him or try and switch the way that they're going to play him and basically
29:43he's not part of the designed run game quite as much anymore.
29:47I feel like Henry has a really good shot at this because he's the proven volume, the proven durability at volume, the
29:53breakaway speed, the type of offense that you want to be in his backups right now are Justice Hill and Rasheed Ali.
29:59Like they're not going to give heavy carries to those guys.
30:03Those guys, I think, are change of pace guys at best.
30:06So Derek Henry to me looks like one of the favorites.
30:09I think if you're leaning towards anyone else in this list, it would be Jonathan Taylor, which I know is not like really breaking news.
30:17Yeah, because same deal. They're in a they're in an offense that wants to be balanced.
30:21They want the run game to be the foundation of what they're doing.
30:25They're going to do. They're going to go into the season looking to protect Daniel Jones and Daniel Jones doesn't run nearly as much as Lamar Jackson.
30:33And I mean, Taylor 20 22 carries per game almost in 2024 20 carries per game in 2021 19 carries per game last year.
30:40So he's up there 18 to 20 21 carries per game.
30:43And he again has almost no competition. It feels like you think Giddens and Seth McGowan.
30:48The way I look at it is like you almost have to build your way up to get there.
30:54And it's like Jonathan Taylor led the league in carries last year and they did.
30:58They did have like 500 more yards this next year than like last year after.
31:02Well, I just their their offense fell apart. Yeah, through week 10.
31:06He was on pace for 1900 yards and he was and he was again the fact that Taylor didn't reach 20 touch.
31:12He was going to be the first running back to get to 20 touchdowns never mind 30 and like forever.
31:18But I guess I it's just a Rorschach test and how you look at the Colts.
31:23I just look at the Colts as a team declining.
31:26I don't think they're going to be as good as they were in September and October of last year.
31:32And I do think that Colts team probably peaked with Jonathan Taylor having 50 fantasy points running like honestly, like 20 24
31:38sake one and get the three touchdowns game. Yeah, like he was having he had three hot he had three hat tricks
31:44in the first half of the season. That probably won't happen again.
31:48I look at it more as like skating where the puck is heading.
31:52Be John Robinson or Jameer Gibbs, and I love Jameer Gibbs.
31:55But even though I have Gibbs still rank kind of first for fantasy season, but we've talked about 2000 rushing yards.
32:01I kind of think it'd be be John and I look at B.
32:05John Robinson is a guy like they have Brian Rob.
32:08They have Brian Robinson, which is going to be annoying all season to have to be Robinson's.
32:13Yeah, but I kind of just think if B.
32:16John gets 80 plus percent of the carries. I wouldn't really be shocked because he has like everything you need at a
32:22running back and I wouldn't be shocked to be John at 2000.
32:26Like I could just see him just kind of go for it because I could he could have multiple 200 yard games.
32:32Who's the dark horse? I think there were Henry at 31.
32:35Oh, Jen G. He's an interesting one since he felt like a offense.
32:39Yeah, I'm looking at James Cook. I know that he led the NFL in rushing last year, but like in that offense.
32:46They don't again. They don't have a ton of competition.
32:49Can he just do a Chris Johnson styles 2000 yard season and surprise everyone James Cook leading the NFL in rushing yards?
32:55And we're like wouldn't even consider him probably does make him.
32:58He has to be the dark horse. You just you honestly need a lot of carries like the problem is it's just
33:05rare that these guys are getting more than like 300 carries these days.
33:09There was four players last year who had over 300 carries when you're looking at all these all time seasons.
33:14These guys had like 340 370 390 like they are getting almost 100 more carries than everyone nowadays, even though they're playing an extra game now.
33:22So you really have to cut that. That's why Jenty to me you have to game it out and think like who
33:29could truly get 320 340 360 carries this season?
33:31I mean the final say just to say one the year that he had 2000 yards and the Eagles made the Super Bowl won the Super Bowl.
33:39Sick one had 60 carries in the final two games like literally at 29 for 150 and then he had 31 carries
33:46for 167 and then like for the final week of the season.
33:49Like James Cook led the league in rushing last year 1620 yards, but he only had 309 carries.
33:54So it's like he was running for over five yards a clip, but you just need more carries to get to he needed 400 more yards.
34:02So that kind of leads into the next conversation here, which is the receiving yards record, which is Calvin Johnson with a thousand nine hundred to 64.
34:10And he did that 20. I mean, I think first of all the leaderboard.
34:14I think it's where we're gonna like who could do this next?
34:18Well, the top two players on the list are Matt Stafford guys.
34:21It's Calvin Johnson 2012 Cooper Cup 20 2021 triple crown.
34:24So it's like Puka to go is probably the answer if Stafford's got the top two marks ever for receiving yards.
34:30It's also pretty crazy if you flip it to the coaching.
34:34If you look at five of the 10 best fantasy performances of the last 15 years.
34:38So the five of the top 10 of the last 15 years have come from Sean McVay or Kyle Shanahan.
34:44Yeah, yeah, there's a thing about there's thousands of thousands and five of the top 10 are Kyle Shanahan and Sean.
34:50Well, if you hold that list, you can add even more because if you count Kevin O'Connell from that tree, that's a Justin Jefferson season or two.
34:58And if you count Clint. No, he's not there.
35:01Jefferson is not. No, I'm saying of the last 15 years.
35:04Oh, wow. OK, it's quite remarkable. I receive. Well, the receiving one's funny because it's been a shift because I mean, Jackson.
35:11It sounds I know it sounds insane to me like who could break the receiving yard.
35:15Well, I mean, Jackson Smith and Jigba was like 150 off last year.
35:19Like he had the eighth most yards ever in his season.
35:22Tyree Hill was close a couple of years ago.
35:25He was sniffing around eight of the top 16 marks ever for receiving yards or by active players, which I think is interesting.
35:32Like literally half of the top 16 receiving yards ever are active players.
35:36And then but what's interesting about it is it started with what we were saying about rushing guys like volume where it's like Calvin Johnson.
35:43He had like 770 routes the year that he had the most receiving yards ever.
35:47And like that happens. But then like Tyree Kill kind of came close on like 500 routes.
35:52Tyree Kill, like the efficiency's gotten crazy. And that's what's happened.
35:56So Jackson Smith and Jigba and basically yards per route run is going up as more tight ends are on the field, which is a whole thing.
36:03But basically Puka Nakua and Jackson Smith and Jigba basically when you're passing and there's multiple tight ends on the field, you're getting bigger plays out of it.
36:12And so that's kind of what's happening. And so this one actually I think is the of all the things we're talking about.
36:18I think a 2000 yard receiver is the most possible.
36:21And I think it's the typical people. I think it's Puka if he gets has his head on straight.
36:27JSN or honestly, Jamar Chase. I actually those are the guys that I think if you told me one of these fell,
36:33I think one of those guys would get 2000 yards before these other records happen.
36:38Yeah, for me, the Puka Nakua one is just sort of obvious.
36:41It's a combination of Sean McVay, who is a proven kingmaker and Matt Stafford, who is a proven kingmaker.
36:47Just the way that those two guys, the way that they play the game and coach the game like we know with McVay, he's he likes trusts.
36:55If he trusts someone, he's going to feed that person.
36:58It's going to be a funnel offense through that person.
37:01We saw that for years with Kyron Williams. We see that with Cooper Cup.
37:05We see that with all the receivers. In addition to the fact on the Rams, the Hivitz, you kind of poked at
37:11this a little bit, but it was with the two tight end and three tight end sort of formation stuff that the Rams are doing.
37:19When you have two tight, if you have two receivers out there, that those two guys are more likely to get the
37:25ball at a higher rate because they're not there's not competition from the slot receiver or whoever.
37:30So it's just they're going to feed Puka Nakua.
37:33He's going to be a huge part of this offense, obviously.
37:36And then if Devontae Adams gets hurt, I mean, all bets are off.
37:40Puka Nakua could have an all-time season out receiver.
37:43There was a great piece in fantasypoints.com about the upside of drafting wide receivers on teams that primarily run two wide receiver sets versus three.
37:50And just the raw numbers of target volume when there are just two wide receivers in the field versus two.
37:56I recommend. I think it was Ryan Heath, but I could be wrong.
38:00Go check that out. But I do agree. Puka, despite the offseason problems, probably by low.
38:04Like if you actually look at last year, Jackson Smith and Jigba did lead the league in receiving yards, but Puka led
38:11the league in receiving yards per game. He missed a game.
38:14Puka is the all-time NFL leader in receiving yards per game.
38:17Right now. Literally all time. He averaged 107 last year, which would have paced for over 1800 yards.
38:23So it probably is him would be first pick.
38:25I think you always have to throw in Jamar Chase.
38:28He had 1700 yards two years ago. I fucking love him.
38:31He should probably be my 101. It's an even year for the Bengals, so we know that's going to be big.
38:38And then I feel like Justin Jefferson with Kyler Murray, there's like an outside chance that like, you know, DeAndre Hopkins' first year with Kyler was huge.
38:45It was like the best year of DeAndre's career, like 1500 yards.
38:49There's a world in which that works, and it's just like three flies up with Kyler Murray and Justin Jefferson.
38:55Those would probably be my top three. JSN, I'm a little worried that with the Kubiak exit.
39:00I totally agree. And I think it's worth knocking JSN a notch below just because when you're nitpicking at the best players,
39:06like, well, one of them lost their play car and one still has Sean McVay or one still is, you know what I mean?
39:13That is a difference. The Puka thing, what do you think?
39:17I feel like Puka almost is like the receiver version of me of Christian McCaffrey in that I've talked about this a
39:23lot, but Christian McCaffrey, I do think, is the most boom-bust player of all time.
39:28Like, he's basically won you your league or made you the finals three or four of the last eight years, and the
39:34other four years he ruined your season. Puka feels like he could be that this year where it's like he could get
39:40hurt because he has no sense of self-preservation. Stafford could hurt his back, and clearly the Rams are worried about Stafford's back
39:47a little because they took Ty Simpson. Like, there's, but, and obviously Puka's having a bizarre offseason and, like, maybe he's not so locked in.
39:54But every week that Puka plays locked in and everyone's healthy, he's probably the number one receiver in all of fantasy football,
40:01like, every single week and could break all these records.
40:04And so, if you are like, well, the only, I don't care about a last place punishment, I just want to win my league.
40:11You could argue that Puka should be the first pick.
40:14Yeah. 1964 feels very breakable. I'm surprised it hasn't been broken.
40:17Yeah. I think it will, that's why I talk about it a lot.
40:21I think players want, again, Tyreek Hill really kind of had a better season than Calvin Johnson did a couple years ago.
40:27Like, in 2023, Tyreek Hill averaged almost 50% more yards per route than Calvin Johnson did.
40:32But the Dolphins were winning by so much that they just stopped past, the Dolphins had the fewest pass attempts in the fourth quarter that year.
40:40But the Lions had the most that season because the Lions were always losing, which is also part of it where you're
40:46like, well, who's going to be losing? It needs to play.
40:49That's where I'm like the Bengals or the Cowboys.
40:52There's shootouts. Yeah. And I look, I mean, the next one here, we have Peyton Manning, like basically passing touchdowns, passing yards,
40:58which is both the 2013 Broncos with Peyton Manning.
41:01And that one I look at is maybe that one's in range where it's like, what if Dallas's defense sucks and Dak Prescott is on another level?
41:09You know what I mean? Or the Bengals. Like, what if Joe Burrow and Chase and Higgins, like Burrow and Dak are
41:15the only ones where I'm kind of like, maybe those guys could make it, but I don't know.
41:21Okay. Okay. Before we move on though, from Calvin Johnson and the, like the receiving yards record, I want to just take
41:27a moment to talk about Calvin Johnson because I think he's the coolest player I ever saw play football.
41:33Yeah. An alien. He Megatron. And he is, for how good he was, not that famous.
41:38Right. Yeah. Kind of like the Barry Sanders of receivers, honestly.
41:41The best I've ever saw with my own two eyes.
41:44And then he just retired. Well, and kind of like Tim Duncan, he just kind of disappeared.
41:49He's not really do, he doesn't do media. He's not like on ESPN.
41:53You don't really see a lot of Calvin Johnson, which I think is, even like just his last name being Johnson.
41:59Dude, there was that TikTok that was like the funniest thing I've seen in a long time and is a really difficult
42:05example of the place where we are in the world right now.
42:09This kid was watching highlights of Staffer on the Lions and he kept throwing touchdowns at Calvin Johnson.
42:14His kid was like, yo, who is 81? He was like, what?
42:17Earnestly. He like zoomed in. He's like, Johnson? Who is this guy?
42:21This guy's huge. This guy catches everything. This guy's pretty good.
42:24I'm like, holy shit. Are we at the point where young kids don't know who Calvin Johnson was?
42:30Fuck. Yes, we are, Craig. Calvin Johnson's literally like the word prototype.
42:33I think of Calvin Johnson. Just not even like receiver.
42:36I just think of prototype. Calvin Johnson's the prototype for the word prototype.
42:40What is your guys' version of that to your parents, you think?
42:43Where you're like, what's his name? Newman? And he was in movies?
42:47Oh, do you know he makes Oreos now? Paul Newman has Newmanos or whatever.
42:51Yeah, they're organic. And my friends are telling me they're better than Oreos.
42:55Oh. I don't believe that. I mean either. He said that Oreos will taste like sunscreen once you have a Newmano.
43:01Oh, man. Oh, God. And I was like, okay.
43:04I don't think that's true. I tried the Newman's own Fig Newtons.
43:07They're not as good as the real thing. You're saying, but Craig's your version of like, what is the thing that's insulting
43:14to, because it's not like Jordan's worse than LeBron.
43:16Like that doesn't count. It's the second best. It's like, who's like, you didn't even know who this guy was.
43:22I think for me, it would be like someone like Lawrence Taylor or something.
43:26If you go back and you're like, because I can't.
43:29I don't. I didn't watch Lawrence Taylor games growing up.
43:32Like really. And if I went back and I didn't really like know who he is, I think I'd be like, wow, this guy was really good.
43:40Holy shit. Or the guy from the Packers, the edge rusher who did the hump move.
43:45And I'm blanking on it. Reggie White. Yeah. Reggie White would be another one that I'm like, damn, this guy is freaking good.
43:52Who is this guy? I think the answer probably now, the answer probably now is like, I feel like Gen Z.
43:58Do they know who Joe Montana is? Because Joe Montana was Tom Brady before Tom Brady.
44:02By the way, we were doing a crossword puzzle, Skippy and I.
44:06And the question was, where is Tony Montana from?
44:09And Skippy thought it was Joe Montana that we were talking about.
44:12Okay. And I was like, it's Cuba. And she's like, he's from Cuba.
44:16I didn't. So my version of that is I always confuse Fred Durst and Robert Durst.
44:21Oh, okay. Which always makes it really awkward. No matter what conversation.
44:24Very different vibes. How often are you talking about Fred or Robert Durst?
44:28When the jinx was on? All the time. What's your lasting impression of, do you have one play in mind for Calvin Johnson?
44:35Because for me, unfortunately, I hate to say this.
44:37It's that play. He caught the ball and then ran into the net and they called it a no catch.
44:43And it was like this big controversy of the catch rule.
44:47It was like, that was bad. That's my, my, unfortunately, one of my lasting memories of Calvin Johnson is just him running
44:53into the, the, the net that goes behind the crossbar or like, you know, the kicker or whatever.
44:58That, that Lions fans hate that one. I think there was, he had a hail, not a hail Mary.
45:04He had a catch against the Bengals where I think there were, it kind of looked like what DeAndre Hopkins hail Mary
45:10became with the hail Mary where Calvin Johnson basically like was quadruple covered in the end zone.
45:15And he just caught it all over, like over four different, like the entire Bengals secondary.
45:20And I was watching it live and I had him on my fantasy team that year.
45:25And I remember like, it was like the, I don't think I can die.
45:29Like, I actually, I don't know if I have this job, if I didn't have Calvin Johnson on my fantasy team.
45:35And like, like when I was like, you know, 2012, a screenshot of Calvin Johnson lighting up wide and there's two saints guys just directly.
45:42Oh, that's an all time screenshot. He's true. And he looks like their older brother.
45:47He's going to win that rep too, for sure.
45:49Oh yeah. That is amazing. Yeah. It's, it's too bad because I think when Benyama has stolen all attempts at hyperbole forever
45:56between NB and Otani, I don't really like parody.
45:59Yeah. Yeah. It's, but Calvin, it felt like he was Wemby before Wemby.
46:02And he ran like a four, three at that size.
46:05Just the biggest freak of all time. Yeah. He, he was, he was basically the, what if the tallest player in football
46:12was the fastest and also like the most coordinated and strong and smooth.
46:16All right. He was, yeah, it's everything you say about prime LeBron was kind of applied to Calvin, but then his, but then you also Google his fingers.
46:24He's modern day Bo Jackson. Yeah. God. Oh, the lions.
46:27Okay. Anything else on any other Calvin or while we're at it, anything else about Tomlinson or any of the other guys who discussed any of those?
46:35Do yourself a favor and go watch that video of that kid, not knowing who Calvin John is.
46:40Who is 81? Who is this guy? Email us the best version of that.
46:44I want to know what something, our version of like, we're like, who is that guy?
46:49Yeah. It's probably Jerry Rice. Like if you're watching old 49er games, you're like, who is this guy?
46:54But he's there. Like, you know, he's very famous though.
46:57When the Niners have games, he's like always on the sideline.
47:00I feel like, I don't know. He's on TV all the time.
47:04Yeah. I feel like he's, I don't know. I feel like, like, I don't know.
47:08I think, I mean, you could argue it's Tim Duncan.
47:11Dude, it probably is Tim Duncan. They're like, who's that guy whispering to Popovich during the Spurs games?
47:17Yeah. Who's that guy with an old guy? Yeah.
47:19But Duncan was the antithesis of flashy though. He was the most, he was like bank shots.
47:24Yeah. The only thing I think of with Tim Duncan is bank shots.
47:28Yeah. But like, you're like, who's that guy? You're like, oh, Tim Duncan who won five titles.
47:33He won two MVPs. I think, you know, one shy of Jordan.
47:37Oh, so boring. I mean, maybe for kids. I mean, it's tough when you just start going back in time.
47:42Duncan's a good one. Duncan's a good cause he's on TV and people.
47:46And also he didn't play with the dreadlocks. So he looks genuinely differently now.
47:50So you're probably like, who is that guy? Yeah.
47:53Duncan's probably the answer. Okay. The next one here, we're talking about again, if you kind of, someone came from the future
47:59and was like, this record got broken. We're like, who would have done it?
48:04And it's the Peyton Manning 2013 season with the Broncos where he had 55 touchdown passes and almost 5,500 passing yards.
48:10How'd that go in the Superbowl by the way?
48:12Yeah, you go. What do you think? Dead last?
48:15No, yeah, yeah. He had a good season, man.
48:18The Seahawks having two different Superbowls that kind of from the jump were just like, just destroyed everyone.
48:23Dominant. The two of the more boring Superbowls on, if you're not a Seahawks fan.
48:27The only way you can enjoy a football game, which is if your team just starts dominating immediately.
48:33Kind of like the Knicks. The Knicks isn't fun to watch because I don't want to pull my hair out the entire game.
48:39But even then, even when your team is killing the other team, it's still not that fun because there's 1% of you
48:46that's like, if we lost, this would be the worst.
48:49Yeah, the Falcons ruined it. I literally was, I was about to start posting on like Blue Sky about this Knicks game.
48:55And I was like, oh, what if they blew up by 20?
48:59Anyway, before we even talk about who could do it this year, I want to just mention Peyton Manning.
49:04This 2013 season, the thing that always just like stops my tracks is the idea that the Colts cut Peyton Manning because
49:11he had this neck injury to draft Andrew Luck because they got the first pick when Peyton Manning missed the year.
49:17And then at the outcome of all that was Andrew Luck functionally played like 29 or 30 total games after Peyton Manning retired.
49:24Like Peyton Manning retired and Andrew Luck basically had two seasons after Peyton Manning retired, which always just blows my mind considering
49:30Andrew Luck was basically as good as we thought he'd be.
49:34And he barely outplayed Peyton Manning time-wise. It's funny to look at the Manning season when he, 55 touchdowns, he was 37
49:40years old and second place most touchdowns thrown in NFL history is Mahomes in his first NFL season.
49:45Which just like that's so fucking funny that Mahomes was 23 through for 50 and then Manning at 37 through for 55.
49:52I already, I think, overlook the fact that Mahomes in his first season as a starter just threw for the second most touchdowns ever.
49:59This is why I'm over and over and I will, if I am wrong, I'm wrong.
50:04But this is why I think Brady might be serious about Fernando Mendoza not playing his first season because Patrick Mahomes will
50:10be one of the first people to tell you he wouldn't have thrown 50 touchdowns and played as a fucking rookie.
50:16Like, you know what I mean? He came up, but no, the Mahomes entry, I remember like that was my first season
50:23working at the Ringer or I guess, well, no, actually, I guess I'm wrong.
50:27But like, I just remember when everyone started talking about Mahomes, I was like, come on, he can't keep this up.
50:33This has never happened before. I mean, of course.
50:36The answer, the answer is, is if anybody can somehow beat 55 touchdowns, it's probably Burrow or Dak, right?
50:41It's these like high octane offenses with bad defenses.
50:44Burrow's thrown 43 before. You have great wide receivers.
50:46These guys are not running like it's probably, and maybe Stafford.
50:50It's probably Burrow, Dak and Stafford. Yeah. Well, I mean, Stafford, if you look at last year, did you know, did you realize this?
50:57I don't know if I realized this, that Stafford's 46 touchdowns last year is the sixth most ever.
51:02Number six on the list. The other guys are Peyton Manning in 2013, Patrick Mahomes, as we mentioned, Tom Brady in 2007,
51:09Peyton Manning again in 2004, Rodgers in 2020, and then Breeze and Stafford at 46.
51:13That MVP aged well already. Oh my God. It aged like wine.
51:16Incredibly well. Incredibly well. Kind of like, yeah. I'm looking at this list though.
51:21And to me, the thing that kind of stands out is for the Manning year and for the Mahomes year, it was
51:27like off and then the Brady year. So the three guys that have thrown 50 touchdowns, it was like offenses that the NFL just wasn't ready for.
51:35Offenses that they just had no answer for. And, you know, with Manning, it was a lot of like spread stuff.
51:41And he just had an incredible skill player collection of talent.
51:44I mean, it was Demarius Thomas, Eric Decker, Wes Welker, and Julius Thomas.
51:48Yeah. And obviously with Mahomes, it was like, we just haven't really ever seen the type of offense they were running.
51:54With Brady, the 2007 offense was legendary. Heifetz, you could get a snipe in there if you want.
52:00How'd that Super Bowl go? I've heard this. It's funny that all, when is the, if you go down this list of
52:06passing touchdowns, when did somebody actually win the Super Bowl?
52:09Manning, no. Mahomes, no. Brady, no. Mostly because the offense, defense was championships.
52:13And so if you're throwing that much, it's probably because your defense isn't awesome because you're not really icing games.
52:19And that's why I do think those three teams are Rams, Bengals, Cowboys, because I think those are the only three teams
52:25that fit into the Venn diagram of could they conceivably do it with the quarterback and talent?
52:30Yes. Would they actually do it if they could?
52:33Because like even some teams, there's too much like the Bills.
52:36Maybe would Josh Allen maybe is capable of that maybe in his best year, but the Bills running is too much of their identity to even try.
52:44Whereas like the Bears, Ben Johnson, even if Caleb Williams became Aaron Rodgers, he wouldn't want to.
52:49Like the Bears want to run too much. I think the Bengals, Cowboys and Rams, like again, Sean McVay basically decided Devontae
52:56Adams was the goal linebacker last year. Like a lot of those are one yard touchdowns, like 13 one yard touchdowns.
53:02So I do think those three teams would try.
53:04I think the question is who's going to have the shittiest defense.
53:08I think the Bengals. That's what I was just looking at, Pfeiffer.
53:11I was literally just looking up. Who has the worst defense that could have a good offense?
53:16Dallas. Yeah. Dallas is kind of number one on that list.
53:20Cincinnati, as you mentioned. Washington, but that's not probably going to happen.
53:23Um, I could see the Bengals doing, I think the Bengals are going to win that division.
53:28I was starting to look at the schedule and looking at everything.
53:32I kind of think the Bengals are going to win the AFC North.
53:36I could see the Bengals winning a lot of games.
53:38It's an even year. I also think Dallas is also the kind of team that could take a leap for the not
53:45just sexy version of like Pickens and CD, but the offensive line is so young and a unit like that can take a big step forward very quickly.
53:53If everyone develops together and like if the Dallas offensive line, you suddenly look up and you're like, wait, is that a top five offensive line?
54:01When's Dallas offensive line? When did that get better than Philly?
54:04But if that were to happen, then yeah, I could, I could see Dallas having, I could see Dak having a crazy,
54:11crazy year, but probably not 55 touchdowns, but I don't know.
54:14I think Cowboys and Bengals are, could be that mix of offense and fucking scary.
54:18The Giants are not better than Dallas. Okay. Anything else on nostalgia?
54:22Peyton Manning. Manning really got mogged by Brady. That was a great year by Manning.
54:26I remember watching that offensive just being in awe.
54:29It was so much fun to watch. And it still holds like still the highest scoring team ever.
54:34I think Peyton came out and threw seven touchdowns in week one.
54:38Yeah. I mean, they've just diced people up. It was crazy.
54:41And again, he couldn't, we choked about this the other day.
54:44Peyton couldn't really throw that well. Like it was all, it was like, it was all what he was doing before the snap.
54:51That was the cool part of it. Worst part of his game.
54:54You know, it's just like identifying matchups and picking it apart.
54:58Yeah. Literally like by far the worst part of his game was throwing footballs.
55:02Yeah. It was kind of, it was a weird group too.
55:05It was like, I feel like all the guys, other than Wes Welker, I guess Demary Thomas was pretty good, but it's
55:11like Eric Decker had a weird career. Julius Thomas had a weird career.
55:15Even like the running backs, like no Sean Moreno.
55:18Was he the running back on that team? CJ Anderson?
55:21Who was it? It was weird. It was like, none of those guys were truly elite.
55:25You know, they were all good players, but it was all just like Manning fucking playing chess out there.
55:31Four guys with 10 plus touchdowns. And then Adam, Adam Gase gets the head coach job for the Jets.
55:37Cause he's like, I helped Peyton with, on that assignment.
55:40Was he the OC on that? I don't think he did very much.
55:43Yeah. I don't think he did very much, Adam.
55:46Okay. Um, the next one here, we just said, we put, we want to put rushing yards by a quarterback.
55:52Cause it feels different. Lamar Jackson at 2019, which DK, that was basically the first thing we ever did this podcast was
55:58you banged the drum for people to draft Lamar Jackson.
56:01Yeah. All season 2019. And Lamar then runs for 1200 yards, which just to put that in, I mean, first of Lamar 2019, won the MVP unanimously.
56:09Youngest unanimous MVP. I think since Jim Brown, also Lamar literally averaged the most fantasy points per game of any quarterback in any season, like ever for 2019.
56:18And, um, he went as like, what, he was a 10th, 11th, 12th round fantasy pick.
56:22So it was probably one of the best fantasy picks ever, but just to put the 1200 yards in context, no one got halfway there last year.
56:30Josh Allen had the most rushing yards for quarterbacks last year.
56:33He had like five, almost 580, which is not halfway to what Lamar actually did.
56:38So I, this, it is just Lamar himself who could do this and like maybe Malik Willis, but even that's kind of a theory.
56:45Yeah. I think Malik Willis is like a really interesting and fun sleeper for fantasy this year.
56:50I think he has the potential to just be a elite, elite fantasy player because of his running and he's really fast,
56:56really explosive and they don't have that many weapons in the passing game.
57:00So he might end up running a ton. I think we're kind of overlooking Jane Daniels a little bit here.
57:06Um, he feels like to me, a buy low or whatever the, um, post-type sleeper designation here, just because when he was
57:13a rookie, 891 rushing yards as a rookie, which I'm gonna look that up here.
57:17That's seventh most ever. Um, the guys, well, I'm looking at Mike Vick.
57:21So here's, here's, oh yeah, you're right. Seventh going back all the way, you know, if we're going to 19, whatever the
57:27sixties, it was Lamar Jackson as the most. He had 1200 yards, Justin Fields randomly in 2022.
57:32Second most, he had 1143 yards, Mike Vick, then two Lamar seasons, another Mike Vick season.
57:37And then Jane Daniels as a rookie, 891 rushing yards.
57:40I looked at that season and he had 148 rushes, rush attempts, which is second only to Jalen Hurts.
57:45And Jalen Hurts was rushing is very different than, than Jane Daniels.
57:49Um, but Jane Daniels had a league high 75 scrambles, which I think could be a variable that is important here.
57:55Jaden Daniels is also the argument to me to make fantasy have half PPR, half point per first down.
58:01Because when you watch Jane Daniels play, every time he runs, he's getting a goddamn first.
58:05It's like, it's just demoralizing for the defense. Yeah.
58:08Um, and he had 25 more scrambles than the second best quarterback that year, which was Bo Nix.
58:13And I think that's just a part of his game.
58:16You know what I mean? He, if he doesn't see something, he's going to take off, lean on his speed and get a first down.
58:24He had 65 design runs that year, which is a lot.
58:27But again, that 75 scrambles, I think there's an outside shot that Jane Daniels, even though they don't really want him to
58:33be running a lot, is going to be running a lot because he scrambles so much.
58:38Um, and so he's the guy that I would be looking at here.
58:42I think Malik Willis is, is obviously going to be a good fantasy pick because you don't have to spend a ton to get him.
58:49But I think Daniels, Jane Daniels clearly has more upside.
58:52If I DK, if I told you that last rookie season, Jane Daniels was basically the peak of his career.
58:58And it's like, actually kind of like RG three 2.0.
59:01And he's just not going to be able to be that good again, be that clutch, stay healthy.
59:06Or this is the cheapest you'll be able to get you in the end for five years.
59:11And he's actually, is that good? Which would you pick?
59:14I lean the latter. I lean the, you know, I think this, he has potential to get back to where he closer
59:21to where he was as a rookie. I think last year was just kind of a, you know, perfect storm of things
59:27that could go wrong and they all, and everything did go wrong.
59:31I think he, we saw what, what he was as a rookie was incredible.
59:35Um, so I still think he has that in him.
59:38And it did not feel fluky. Like when you watched him as a rookie, he, he felt, he felt mature and he
59:44felt like he, he was meant for big moments and was super comfortable in them.
59:49So I, whatever happened last year, I think is an aberration.
59:52I'm much more comfortable that he is the guy we saw his rookie year.
59:56The easy comparison is to look at like CJ Stroud's rookie year and then be like, oh, and he hasn't played as well since.
60:03Stroud's rookie year was overrated because he had a crazy touchdown interception ratio where a lot of picks were getting dropped.
60:09It was kind of ugly outside of like three games.
60:12Cause Jaden Daniels was unbelievable. He was borderline perfect.
60:15Yeah. He looked like the best numbers. He looked like again, yeah.
60:1820 of 23 on fourth down, but also just the walk-offs over and over and over again.
60:23I was the level of play was so much higher.
60:26The accuracy and everything. I do think he'll get back.
60:29And again, we were worried about the injuries coming out of college because again, he ran like came scatable with a blindfold basically.
60:36But like the injury that played Jaden Daniels got hurt on.
60:39I don't think it was reckless. It was a fluke.
60:42God damn play. He put his God damn arm down a brace himself.
60:46And it like, like, I don't know. I don't look at that as yeah.
60:50I actually thought his rookie or Jaden Daniels. When he gets hurt, he slender flame.
60:55Like the worst he's played was when he got, I think he bruised his ribs against the Panthers or something.
61:00And then he wasn't really the same for a couple of weeks.
61:04But I actually thought he protected himself as rookie or like a lot better than I thought he would, to be honest.
61:10So I think quarterback's interesting because you got Josh, you got Lamar, Drake, May, Jaden, whatever you want to do with Jalen Hurts.
61:17Dart. Dart. And like, I really do. Caleb Williams and Trevor Lawrence.
61:21And I'm like, I kind of would be happy with any of those guys.
61:25And then I almost think Malik Willis has to be ninth or tenth solely because I'm like, I don't know.
61:31He's the fastest quarterback. And I feel like there's 10 pocket.
61:34Bo Nick. I don't know if Bo Nick counts as mobile off an ankle injury.
61:38But like, there's like 10 pocket passes I can make the case for.
61:42And I kind of like Burrow and Dak are in there somewhere.
61:46But then it's like Purdy and Jared Goff and Stafford even.
61:49I don't know. I don't know what to do with those guys.
61:52Like when you have Burrow, Dak, Stafford, those are pocket passes worth it.
61:56But the Brock Purdy, Jordan Love, all these other pocket passes, Jared Goff.
62:00I'm like, when all those guys are like replacement level quarterbacks, I'm like, I don't.
62:05I'm just purely going for upside. Yeah. I'm like, I'll just take whatever fucking random pocket passer falls to me is like.
62:11Can I throw out Jackson Dart as a possibility to break the rushing record?
62:15Ooh. All right. 1,200 yards. Jackson Dart. His main stretch, which was like, whatever.
62:19Week 4 to 15, I'm looking at. He was averaging like 50 to 60 rushing yards a game, which is on average.
62:26That's like 900 for on a 17 game pace.
62:28And like the way the offense is kind of set up, his recklessness, his willingness to scramble.
62:33Maybe, maybe a very long shot Dart throw. Oh.
62:36Dart is the kind of quarterback I do think we should rank higher than other people solely because like, yeah, I don't
62:42know if he could get to 1,200, but like, I think you're right about the base math there.
62:48Like I could see also, you could see Dart having like 800 yards, 700 and like 11 touchdowns in his best possible season.
62:54He's going to be one of those guys. Remember we were talking about Aaron Jones a couple years ago where we were
63:01like, when he actually is starting and playing, like he'll be a top 10 running back, but nobody wants to rank him that way.
63:08I feel like when Jackson Dart plays in a game, he will be a top 10 quarterback.
63:13Yeah. Statistically in fantasy. It is. If you just, and also in fantasy, when you just look, the other reason to rank
63:19Dart high, if you just look at like, you just rank the top 13 quarterbacks.
63:24The point being that when you're in a 12 team league, one of those guys is not a starting quarterback.
63:30It's kind of insane to think how good the high quality, like the 12, like Kyler Murray in Minnesota is probably not
63:36going to be a starting quarterback in fantasy. It's kind of crazy.
63:40Like it's a high bar. Super flex. Yeah. Also DK, that list you read where Jaden Daniels is sevens all time rushing yards by a quarterback.
63:47Eighth is Russell Wilson. I know Russell Wilson at 849 yards.
63:51Pretty crazy. Russ almost needs to retire kind of like Aaron Rodgers so that we can go back to appreciating how incredible he was a long time ago.
63:59Russell was my favorite player to watch in like 2017 when he was doing everything.
64:03He was the most unbelievable player on a play to play basis.
64:07Oh, 100%, man. There's a reason I think Seattle fans still adore the guy, even though like the ending was a kind
64:13of, I don't know what the word is, not acrimonious, but it wasn't like the best way that the two people parted.
64:20But to me, Russell Wilson, early career Russell Wilson.
64:22I mean, you forget that he ran like a four or five and he was built like a running back and he
64:29was part of that there in that era. There was like Kaepernick, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson, a handful of other guys that
64:35were like pioneering sort of the rebirth of the read option.
64:39And man, I remember Russell Wilson when the Seahawks broke out their read option stuff for the first real time.
64:44I think this was like halfway through. I want to say the 2012 season and they're playing the Bears and like legitimately
64:51Wilson was just faking out Brian Urlacher and like, like breaking his ankles.
64:55And I was like, there's something different about this guy because like late in the season, they started doing that and then they started blowing guys out.
65:03They started blowing teams out like 50 to like seven to finish off the season.
65:07They were one of the hottest teams in the NFL to finish off the season.
65:12It was a big part because they started embracing the read option with Marshawn Lynch and the two guys together, Russell Wilson
65:18and Marshawn, just like the perfect combination for the read option because Marshawn was so good at basically taking a ball from
65:24the high post and like driving to the hoop.
65:27He had like the, the really sudden movement and like shake ability that you don't really see from running backs.
65:33He was not a downhill guy. He was, I'll make guys miss.
65:36And I was just perfect for the read option.
65:39So sorry, I'm reminiscing here, but like, that was so fun.
65:42That, that era was so exciting and it wasn't just Russ.
65:46It was like all the guys running all those read option looks and like everyone, all the old heads in the NFL were like, Oh, this won't last.
65:54But like, meanwhile, it was just like tearing up the NFL.
65:57You should have pulled out a cigarette, lit it up.
66:00Tomlin. I know. Fuck. That was good. You guys want to just name some guys from back in the day?
66:06Hell yeah, dude. Antoine Randall L. Frank Gore. Oh, you're going Steelers.
66:09Willie Parker. Willie Colon. Willie Parker. Rashad Mendenhall. Ahmad Bradshaw.
66:12Ooh, I loved him. He was the best. I love, dude.
66:16He, we don't talk about, he scored a touchdown by accident with his butt.
66:20Oh, I remember that. To win a Superbowl. Oh man.
66:23Also Derek Ward, the forgotten thousand yard rusher on the 2007 giant.
66:26So I said 3000 yard rushers in 2007. Lavernius Coles.
66:29Oh man. Good one. Good one. Santana Moss. Nice.
66:32Marcel Reese. Jericho Cottery. Oh. Jericho. Great. DeBricka Shaw Ferguson.
66:35DeBricka Shaw. Yeah. Where's going? Jets. Did you, I think DeBricka Shaw was the reason that Key and Peele's skit was invented.
66:41I think he was. I want to say I saw an interview with them and they were, and he was like the inspiration for that whole thing.
66:49I think he was. That's good. You got a names?
66:52Oh, we're going to keep going. I kind of, I actually.
66:55Joe Jura vicious. Oh, good one. That name is sick.
66:58That name is incredible. Joe Jura vicious. He sounds like a rapper.
67:02He's the size of a man who should be named Joe Jura vicious.
67:06Yeah. Peerless Price was also a great name. Peerless.
67:08Peerless. Plaxico Burress. Burress? Burress. How did you, how did you say his last name?
67:13Burress. Burress. Burress. Peerless. Giants were like undefeated when he shot himself in the leg, which that part gets left out that
67:19they were like, I still remember that literally. They should have gone back to back.
67:24They should have won again. Oh no. Had not lost the game basically.
67:27God. Also Steve Smith, the other one. Yeah. He had a good moment.
67:31He had a moment. Oh yeah. Yeah. Also, I have to shout out Victor Cruz who is, you know, a deep, deep cut, but also not.
67:39Guy that became a social media star. Like Victor Cruz was the one who's going to the Met Gala and like, that
67:45was not a thing for football players. And then Odell kind of just like, as they say in the rewatchables, like market corrected him.
67:52But Cruz did all that, got her. And then Odell kind of like took his life.
67:57Why did Cruz, one of my all-time favorite fantasy players.
68:00He was so, I had him that big year.
68:03He was the best. Dude, the Giants have had some really like aesthetically fun receivers.
68:07I was just thinking about Hakeem Nix. He was awesome too, man.
68:11You guys have, you've had some really good receivers over the years.
68:14Caught a Hail Mary in like the playoffs. Yeah.
68:17He was awesome. Like the division around Hakeem Nix just caught a halftime Hail Mary for a touchdown.
68:22So what are the most, I would say, Craig, you're bringing up, um, Victor Cruz.
68:26Miles Austin is the other kind of guy that came out.
68:30Oh yes. Just fantasy. Like, oh, who's this guy?
68:32Oh my God. What the hell? This is, is this real?
68:36This is real. Yeah. Miles Austin was annoying. I feel like I always drafted him the wrong fucking year.
68:41He's never right. He got paid, but yeah, that was annoying.
68:44Well, the other one, like I think on that note is, uh, Edelman and Welker.
68:49Hmm. Sure. Like that was also real. Like, I mean, even when Edelman kind of came up, it was like a meme.
68:55It was like just another white receiver. And then it was like the idea that he would be a Super Bowl MVP.
69:02It was kind of like hilarious. Remember Vincent Jackson?
69:04Oh, he was great. Who was Mike Evans kind of before Mike Evans?
69:08Was. Yeah. He was awesome. RIP. Did he die?
69:11He did. Unfortunately. Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah.
69:13Oh, that's very sad. We're, we're getting older. Dude.
69:16Also, while I was looking up the rushing leader list, Jamal Lewis just randomly having like 2,100 yards is on Jamal Lewis.
69:23Peyton Hillis? Peyton Hillis. Peyton Hillis. Peyton Hillis on the cover of Madden?
69:26Oh, what could go wrong? The Bodie McBoatface of Madden covers.
69:30I can't believe they let us vote on that.
69:32That was so dumb. Ooh, Terrell Pryor? Dude, Peyton Hillis has 28, Peyton Hillis has 2,800 career rushing yards.
69:38Dude. Wow. That'll never happen again. One hit wonder.
69:41That's crazy. They let people vote once and they're like, white running back.
69:44I don't care if he's on Cleveland. The Terrell Pryor is a Hall of Fame like ahead of his time guy.
69:51Like Terrell Pryor now would just like, he could just.
69:53He had a thousand yards receiving one year. And then I remember he had the longest touchdown run of any quarterback ever.
70:00Well, he did a read option. 99 yard. I remember it was against the Steelers and he did a read option.
70:06And the Steelers were like, we haven't seen this in decades.
70:09Tomlin's like, we, yeah, we look forward to eliminating it.
70:12Terrell Pryor being told in the middle of his NFL career that you have to be a receiver and then actually getting 1200 yards is fucking crazy.
70:20I know. It's actually insane. Do you know how good of an athlete you have to be?
70:25It's not even like at the combine. They're like, listen, so I'm like, they tried to make him a quarterback.
70:31And then he pivoted in the middle of his career.
70:34Like that's impossible to ask of somebody. And then he, yeah.
70:37Honestly, he only stopped because he hurt his ankle.
70:40Like that really was what derailed him more than anything.
70:43He had, God, it's so funny. Look up guys like that because they're.
70:47I'm like trying to find his receiving. He had a thousand, not 1200.
70:51He had a thousand yards in 2016. But like, then he hurt his ankle.
70:55But like, that's crazy to be a thousand yard receiver at 27.
70:58When he had, he had one, he had two, he had two catches in his career.
71:03And then they're like, you're a receiver. And then he had a thousand yards.
71:07He's like, all right. Team player. Who is his quarterback that year?
71:112016. Fucking like Cody Kessler. Yeah. Cody Kessler, Josh McCown, Robert Griffin.
71:14I was so concerned. I knew that. I wish I knew other things than that.
71:18Cody Kessler. I also always, there's also, there's also, there's other guys like that you kind of thought would be good.
71:25It sucked. Like I always loved Troy Smith, the random Heisman owner from Ohio state.
71:29He's not. Oh yeah. He was small. Not really a guy, but yeah.
71:33Good players. Fun game. Maybe that'll be a thing.
71:36Maybe that's a, that's maybe a deep off season one, but I would love to do the ahead of their time team
71:42guys that would have been, they were kind of like too early.
71:46Terrell Pryor is like, like Warwick done. Yeah. Wow.
71:48Yeah. There was a lot of those guys. I like that.
71:51Okay. Email us if you have more examples like Terrell Pryor.

72:44See you this summer. A couple emails to get out of here.
72:48Sure. Yeah. I lied. It's like three or four.
72:50First, I want to do an email here from Scott.
72:53Scotty. Scotty. Our last episode, we talked about like holiday games and we talked, we were complaining about how many holiday games
73:00there were during, you know, family time. And Scott wrote in with the subject line, anti-holiday game sentiment is happy family privilege.
73:06Sure. Which I thought was so funny. He said, I was listening to the schedule draft today.
73:11Got to the part where you're all complaining about having a Christmas Eve game.
73:15He's like, I don't get along with my family.
73:18Scott says, I'm a queer guy. Scott says, I'm a queer guy from a conservative family.
73:23Our get togethers always end in misery. And the one and only thing we can all do together without turning to a
73:29bitter shouting match about which uncle skipped the lesbian wedding is watching sports shoulder to shoulder.
73:34And he says, I welcome as many holiday games as possible.
73:37And you two with the happy families can handle a few games a year so that people like me with unhappy families
73:43don't have to talk to each other. I thought that was awesome.
73:47I think that's true. I mean, it's objectively very true.
73:50Yeah, very fair. It reminded me of something else, which I have honed in my adulthood, which is there are also board game families.
73:57Board game families are also happy families. Like, let me tell you something.
74:01If someone loves board games, they love their family.
74:03If the family doesn't like board games, then they've already broken up, you know, because they played board games together.
74:09My family, not a board game family. Every time we play Uno, we get in a fight.
74:14No, but that's the point, though. Uno. You play Uno and you get in a fight.
74:19That's like the only game we play. You play Uno and you get in a fight.
74:24Oh, I love Uno. Uno? How do you get in a fight playing Uno?
74:28What? It's not hard. DK, I feel like Uno is very famously, like, the most argumentative.
74:33Yeah. Dude, when you start fucking laying draw twos and draw fours on the guy next to you.
74:38You're, like, targeting. Someone's like, oh, really? You had nothing else?
74:41Show me your cards. Really? I witnessed. I was once the fifth wheel on a couple's Uno game.
74:46And I actually thought we were in the roof of an apartment in Palms, Craig.
74:51And I literally thought both couples were going to break up playing Uno.
74:55I was literally watching. Imagine being here for one couple fight.
74:58Both couples were having very serious arguments. Uno. If my family plays Uno, my brother and I have to sit across from one another.
75:05We cannot be next to each other. DK, I feel like Uno's famous for being the most aggressive argument game.
75:11I did not know that. Email us your Uno stories.
75:14I bet some fucking marriages have ended and people don't talk to siblings anymore over Uno.
75:18One of the craziest Uno stories. My family's game is Apples to Apples.
75:22You guys know that game where it's, like, you have cards and they have descriptive words on them?
75:28I have, like, I'm, like, world class at being really bad at that game.
75:32I'm maybe the worst player at Apples to Apples I've ever seen in my life.
75:36Name seven James Bonds. I don't know what that means about me.
75:40Maybe I just, like, can't read people whatsoever. I don't know.
75:43But, yeah, it's tough. Scott makes a good point.
75:45I will say, you know what else? A football game, dude, if you're at, like, a party and you don't really know
75:52that many people, like, it's, like, your wife's friend.
75:55Something to do. Dude, if there's a game on and you can just kind of stand with the other guys who don't
76:01really know anybody and just look forward but still talk to each other while watching football.
76:06All the end ones. The best. Yeah, Stafford having a good season.
76:09Yeah. All the plus ones that are there that don't know each other.
76:13Who are you a fan of? Cowboys. You're like, okay.
76:16Oh, yeah. Not bad. You know, they're looking pretty good.
76:19Pickens. Good. Yeah. Good season. Yeah. Offense, you know, Dak.
76:22Dak CD. Pickens. You just name guys. Yeah, you just keep naming guys.
76:26Jake Ferguson's not bad. Kind of a new one.
76:28Yeah. All right. I want. Email us, you know, stories.
76:31This one's from Emily. Emily. Craig asked. I don't remember which episode this was.
76:35He wanted examples of people who talk in real life in YouTube voice, if there are any.
76:40Oh. Because he said there's nobody. Emily writes in.
76:43My breakfast was two eggs, a whole wheat English muffin, turkey bacon, and coffee with Chobani creamer.
76:48Emily writes. I am a wife. One of the seven.
76:51Hell yeah. The seven. Seven. It's like the Van Buren voice.
76:54It's like seven. It's like. Pray to the seven.
76:57We're basking in the light. Emily says. I wanted to respond to your statement in your last episode that no one in
77:03real life speaks with a YouTube voice. What about Sean McVay?
77:07Hmm. All high energy, no rest, high pitch, rush cadence.
77:10Am I wrong? McVay's a blend. He's not full YouTube because he it's it's it's like such hardcore coach speak.
77:15But I know what she means. Yeah. Oh, 100%.
77:18If Sean McVay read Mr. Beast YouTube intros like it would kind of work.
77:22Yes. Yes. But McVay, his thing is that even when he's not coaching, he still speaks in coach speak.
77:28Like he is always kind of like that. Like if he was describing his breakfast in an email to us, it would
77:34be like real like he'd be breaking down every little tiny ingredient and two eggs, whole wheat English muffin placed it on on the plate.
77:42You know? Yeah. He'd be like two eggs. You want to get your protein?
77:46And I love that whole wheat. Whole wheat is a lot better than white with white bread.
77:51The turkey bacon. I'm trying to be a little bit healthier with the turkey bacon.
77:55That's going to give me more energy to get out there with my guys.
77:59And coach, you got to have coffee to start your day.
78:02Okay. You got like his like vein in his neck is starting to bulge out.
78:07It's always bulging. Yeah. That man has so much blood.
78:10It's crazy. Okay. And also Emily did end it with I'm 39.
78:13I live in Tennessee. A chode is a short white penis.
78:17So that was, you know, thank you for having me.
78:20Regional and generational. This one's from Brennan. Brennan. B-bone.
78:22Brennan has a... Nah, I won't say it. You know what I'm saying?
78:26You didn't know that joke? Brennan has a mangina.
78:29Oh, wow. What's that from? Stepbrothers. Come on. Oh, yeah.
78:32Brennan has a mangina. Everyone starts singing. Brennan. Tough for Brennan.
78:35Brennan writes, nut kicks ruin lives. Okay. Obviously, we've been talking about the guy who was going to get kicked in the nuts, went back on it.
78:43Then we had the ER. Well, his wife made him go back on it.
78:47Yeah, that's true. Well, he can make his own decisions.
78:50He's blaming his wife. No, he can't. His wife made him.
78:53Hi, but you're married now. Come on. You should know.
78:56It's both progressive. I can't. My wife said I can't.
78:59Yeah, I get it. Brennan says breakfast. It was bacon, egg and cheese.
79:03Shout out to my buddy and fellow listener Colin for making the bacon, egg and cheese.
79:07Okay, cool. Never had that happen. Hell yeah, Colin.
79:10Brennan writes about all this discourse. What happens to get kicked in the nuts?
79:14I got to tell you. 1981, my father-in-law was at a college party and decided to kick his best friend in the balls as hard as he could.
79:22The damage caused was so severe that they had to take him straight to the hospital.
79:27He had a reconstructive surgery done that night to repair the damage, mostly in his gooch.
79:32And over the next five years, the friend had to get 12 surgeries to clear scar tissue.
79:37And it's been 45 years and his friend said he's never fully recovered.
79:41My God. See, this is what I'm saying. We don't need to be hitting people in the nuts.
79:46I can't believe more of these stories don't exist.
79:49Maybe they do. Well, I was going to say, I feel like it's so prevalent when you watch cartoons or TV or
79:55anything that things get kicked in the nuts that I'm like, I don't realize this is really dangerous.
80:00I see why we're constantly walking around afraid of it.
80:03Yeah. I also like, was there a reason this guy kicked his friend or he just kind of thought it was funny?
80:10I think he just thought it was funny. Yeah.
80:12How could you ever repay him? My goodness. Donate your own testicles to him.
80:17Okay. I want to do. Have you ever done a testicle transplant?
80:20Interesting. Is that a thing that's possible? How would that work?
80:23Could I have given Lance one of mine? Gene, genealogy, luckily speaking.
80:27That's a word. That's a word. Genealogically. That seems like the easy part.
80:31Is that possible? Is that whose baby is that now?
80:34What? What? Who are you? Who's this? Can you transplant?
80:37I got to tell you, I can't believe we could do that.
80:40I know. Transplants are crazy. Yeah. You could just have someone else's heart inside you.
80:44Unbelievable. We figured that out. That's wild. That's how I feel when people argue about certain medical things.
80:50I'm like, you know, my ninth grade biology teacher, he had a heart defect when he was a child.
80:55And so he put a part of a pig heart in his heart and he lived.
81:00Yeah. And I'm like, I don't know. These people kind of know what they're doing.
81:04But anyway. Are people complaining about surgeons? Wait. What do you mean?
81:08No. Other things. Oh. Like the return of measles.
81:11Yeah. Which I thought was a made up. We figured this out long ago.
81:15Yeah. I thought that shit was. That's my version of.
81:18I've never heard of fucking Calvin Johnson. I thought mumps and measles were fake when I was growing up.
81:23I thought it was in Charlie the Chocolate Factory.
81:26It's like the boogeyman is to scare you. Yeah.
81:29I literally like Oompa Loompas. Anyway, I want to talk about this email from Turner.
81:33Turner. Tebow. Lives lived. And I want to talk about Charlie Pride.
81:37So Turner's breakfast was three Advil and two blueberries, which is wild to have more pills than fruit.
81:42Two blueberries. Two blueberries. The fuck is even the point of two blueberries?
81:46I feel like he had all five of them in his hand.
81:49He swallowed them all. Two blueberries. Did you have it in your little pill box?
81:54It's like fruit. I just keep them together. So hung over.
81:57Is this like a normal morning thing? Yeah. Two blueberries.
82:00That's also like, is it like. He's like, I can't have an empty stomach when I take these.
82:05Honestly, you're probably right. Actually, that probably is it.
82:08Which that's not what they mean. Turner writes, I was listening to the country singer Charlie Pride this morning and I was
82:14prompted to do a little reading on the man.
82:17So Charlie Pride Pride. This is going to be a mix of his email.
82:21And then I actually. I don't even know who that is.
82:24Do you know? Oh, yeah. Famous country singer. Oh, I don't know him.
82:28Country musical. Well, I'll tell you who he is.
82:31Charlie Pride bought a guitar for $10 from the Sears catalog when he was 14 years old.
82:36Because Charlie Pride's dad liked watching the Grand Ole Opry.
82:39And Charlie Pride went on to be the first black man invited to play at the Grand Ole Opry.
82:44His 29 different number one country records are second only to Elvis Presley.
82:48And he was the biggest country star in the world in the South right after and during segregation.
82:53So, I mean, think about what that took. First black artist to make the Country Music Hall of Fame, et cetera, et cetera.
83:00Turns out before that, Charlie Pride was a two-time all-star Negro League pitcher in the minor leagues.
83:05He was trying to make it. He played against Hank Aaron and Willie Mays.
83:09Wow. And then he got drafted to the military, had to do service, won a military baseball championship in the military.
83:15Which is, I don't have quibbles with this comparison, but Turner writes it's like if Jimmy Butler quit basketball because he got
83:22drafted and then became the biggest country star in the world.
83:25Which I think is a little different. But this did make me want to look into Charlie Pride.
83:30And his Wikipedia is incredible. Charlie Pride did want to become a baseball player.
83:34He pitched for the Memphis Red Sox in 1952 in the Negro American League.
83:391953, he signs a contract with the Boise Yankees, which is the farm team of the New York Yankees.
83:44But he has an arm injury. He's a pitcher.
83:47He loses the mustard on his fastball. And then he goes on.
83:50And then that season, he was traded to the Birmingham Black Barons for a team bus.
83:55Oh, my God. What? Come on. Charlie Pride, the Charlie Pride, was traded with this other guy, Jesse Mitchell.
84:01They were traded to the Birmingham Black Barons for a bus.
84:04Jesus Christ. And Charlie Pride wrote in his autobiography, I think I'm the only person who's been traded for a motor vehicle to play Major League Baseball.
84:12Oh, that's tough. A bus? A bus. So that's incredible.
84:15It keeps going. That's an incredible factoid. Teams did not have much money back then.
84:19No. It's incredible. The guy got traded for bats the other day.
84:23But so then Charlie Pride was discharged. He tried to make the Mets, the Angels, the Reds.
84:28He couldn't make it. So he gets laid off by the Timber Jacks.
84:31So he goes to work construction in Helena, Montana.
84:34This is 1960. And he gets recruited to play for this local semi-pro baseball team.
84:39Are you ready? Okay. The East Helena Smelterites. The Smelterites?
84:41Smelter? I barely even knew her. You may wonder where this is going.
84:45The team manager was literally a smelter team. They were a smelter business in Montana.
84:50I can't pronounce it in the company. They also played baseball.
84:53They kept 18 jobs open at the smelter plant for baseball players so they could do shifts nine and nine and they could always have a baseball team.
85:01And then so Charlie Pride was a smelter and by day dodged.
85:05I don't know. They call it the smelting term is slag, which I think is lava.
85:09Metal lava. Right. Like the orange metal, liquid metal.
85:12You would have to dodge that while working all day.
85:15And then you can dodge a slag. You can dodge a ball.
85:19Yes. And he hit 400. He hit 444 in the smelter league.
85:22444. Damn. And then he was so good at singing.
85:25He was on his game. Then they asked him to start singing the national anthem before the games because they liked his voice.
85:32And then his career started. He was singing and then playing in the games?
85:36He sang it? Yes. And then they're like, you're good at this singing thing.
85:40This is like a movie. This is like a parody movie.
85:43It is like a parody. It's like Forrest Gump shit.
85:46It's like walk hard. He gets traded for a bus.
85:49Goes and works in the smelter. Traded for a bus.
85:52The start singing the national anthem. Smelting to get cold.
85:55Basically, I don't know if it's cold or smelt, whatever, but it's 2400 degrees, the substance that they're moving with a shovel, apparently.
86:02I don't really understand it. But anyway, I just couldn't believe it.
86:05OSHA would be all over that these days. Charlie Bryant.
86:08And then someone's like, Craig, what did you do in your 20s?
86:12I'm like, well, I kind of just sat in my room, podcasted, went to some bars.
86:16Oh, man. So the Guinness, they used to have the glasses and you could try to drink a little to get it by the G.
86:24Right, right, right. Legendary. I split a couple hundred Gs.
86:27Legendary. It's a hobby of mine. What a life.
86:29Man. He's up there. That's a good one. When my grandpa turned 27, he went to Vietnam.
86:34When I turned 27, I built a birdhouse with my mom.
86:38Okay. The other thing, a thousand people tagged this in this.
86:41I want one of you two to read it.
86:43I don't care which. Can you guys read us about the players who played on the Cleveland Spiders in the 1890s?
86:50I feel like we've talked about the Cleveland Spiders before, but this team is up there.
86:54We have not seen these names because I was going through it and I was flattered.
86:59No, I didn't recognize them. I didn't. I want one of you.
87:03I would have remembered this, I feel like. So these guys, do we have the exact year?
87:08I have the roster. Is this? I'll send it to you right here.
87:11Late 1800s? It's 1880 whatever to 18. It's a bunch.
87:14It's like their best players. Okay. I have it here.
87:17So we have. We have. Which one do I want to pick?
87:21This is insane. Every single one of them is a banger.
87:24This is crazy. No skips, Craig. Every single one.
87:27No skips. Literally no skips. This is like the Katy Perry album, Teenage Dream.
87:31Just banger after banger after banger. Icebox Chamberlain. Of course.
87:34That's the coolest thing ever. Icebox. Icebox is sick.
87:36Oh, man. Cupid Childs. That's a weird name. I don't know if I like that one.
87:41Different time. Pretzels Getson. Pretzels. That's too good. Pretzels.
87:44We have Mortimer Hogan. Not a lot of Mortimers anymore.
87:47They need to bring back Mortimer. Mort. What up, Mort?
87:50We got this. I'm going to name two guys here.
87:53This sounds like they star in a buddy cop comedy together.
87:56We got Cowboy Jones and Sport McAllister. That's like, I found it.
87:59If you found out the emu's real name in the limu emu.
88:03Cowboy Jones. Oh, we got Chippy Magar. Cowboy Sport and Chippy.
88:06Back to back to back. Magar is somehow funnier than Chippy.
88:09We got Cinders O'Brien. Cinders. Yep. We got Crazy Schmidt.
88:12Crazy Schmidt is so good. None of these guys had real names.
88:16Because usually they will... It's like one or two guys on the team get a nickname.
88:21Is Crazy replacing his first name? Or are they just kind of calling him Crazy Schmidt?
88:25They just call him Crazy Schmidt. I don't know.
88:28This name is odd. Louis Sock Alexis. What? Louis Sock Alexis.
88:31It is the word sock and the name Alexis together.
88:34I'm not sure. We have what appears to be brothers.
88:37Patsy and Pussy Tabo. Pussy. Patsy and Pussy Tabo.
88:40They sound like they're in Ocean's Eleven. I hope they're twins.
88:43We have Jim Toy. Jim Toy. And then we have...
88:46It just keeps getting better. It's just T-O-Y too.
88:48It's not anything more. We have Highball Wilson. We have Rasty Wright.
88:52Rasty. And to bring it on home, we got Peekaboo Veach.
88:55Every single one of these guys probably has an unbelievable Wikipedia page.
88:59I know. I'm trying to find the actual baseball reference for this.
89:02Oh, my God. I feel like even if I Google Crazy Schmidt, is that even going to come up?
89:08Peekaboo Veach. I'm on the Wikipedia right now. Crazy Schmidt's name was Fred.
89:12But he was crazy. He was a pitcher and I think he sucked.
89:15His win and loss record was 7-36. So crazy Schmidt.
89:187-36. Hey. This is like a Jameis Winston stat.
89:21He's 7-30. They didn't have enough guys. Couldn't hit the strike zone to save his life, but he was crazy.
89:27It's the enforcer. Oh, man. I'm looking at some other players on this team, Craig.
89:31They also had a guy named Harry Cauliflower. Harry Cauliflower.
89:34I need to read about the Tebow brothers. Pussy.
89:37I'm on Pussy Tebow's Wikipedia right now. Tell me more.
89:40Oh, so Pussy was the younger brother of Patsy.
89:43And then they also had a George. What the fuck does that work?
89:46What would you rather be? Pussy or Patsy? It's got to be George Patsy Pussy in that order, right?
89:52I would rather be Patsy, Craig. Or you own Pussy, you know?
89:55You kind of make it fucking cool. It's like a boy named Sue type deal, yeah.
90:00Had to be strong. There's also a guy named Dick Harley.
90:03Did you already say him? No. There's some fucking all-timers on this team.
90:07I got to figure out what's going on with Pretzels.
90:10Pretzels gets him. Pretzels gets him. Pretzels is unbelievable.
90:13Is it as simple as he likes pretzels? No, no, no.
90:16He was able to throw a double curve following the curves of a pretzel.
90:20Oh, my God. That's kind of cool, actually. This was a cartoon baseball team.
90:24Yeah, what do you mean double pretzel? I think he could throw a curve in other direction.
90:29Oh. They just hadn't invented a slider yet. They didn't know what the word was.
90:34Man, all-time team. Icebox, Chamberlain, Pretzels. Pussy and crazy.
90:36Patsy and pussy is an incredible combo for brothers.
90:39Why don't we have names like this anymore? By the way, Cy Young was on the 1897 Cleveland Spiders.
90:45Cy Young. Wow. So this is a real baseball team.
90:48Oh, my God. Also, Charlie Brown was on that team.
90:50Charlie Brown? So maybe it actually was a cartoon.
90:53Charlie Brown? I still haven't figured it out yet.
90:56Dude, there's an article from 1886 from the magazine Scientific American, and it's about Pretzel's curveball.
91:00What does it say? It's just a diagram of how he throws it, and I don't really get it.
91:06It's been lost to time. All right. Chippy McGar.
91:09Anyway. Thank you, everyone, for emailing us. Email us more.
91:12If you had to pick one name. This podcast will now feature the three of us with names from this list.
91:18What are you picking? Fucking Peek-A-Boo Beach is so fucking funny.
91:21Peek-A-Boo Beach. Peek-A-Boo Beach. Icebox. Icebox Chamberlain. Icebox Chamberlain is so funny.
91:25Sport McAllister. I gotta go with Sport. Sport over Juggerp.
91:28Over Juggerp. Sport McAllister. Cub Buck, Juggerp. No, from this list, though, I mean, if I host a podcast, my name is Sport McAllister.
91:35Jim Toy. That is like Dodgeball 2. Dude, Pussy and Toy being next to each other is also just like that.
91:41Welcome to the Ringer Fantasy Football Show. I'm Sport McAllister, and I'm joined by Pretzels Getson and Crazy Schmidt.
91:46I'm joined by Pretzels Getson and Crazy Schmidt. Shit, that's good.
91:50Coming up later, we're having the Tabo brothers on.
91:52Patsy and Pussy will be here to break down the MLB season that's coming up.
91:57We'll close that with Icebox Chamberlain. He's going to talk to us about the NBA season.
92:01Oh, my God. There's not even like one normal one that would like balance all this out.
92:06The most normal name on this list, I guess, is Jim Toy.
92:10And Jake Virtue. Jake Virtue. He's like the most normal person here.
92:13Jake Virtue. Mike Goodfellow's kind of normal. And also, it's- Cinder's O'Brien.
92:17Cinder's is amazing. I actually, I'm changing my answer.
92:20I want to be Crazy Schmidt. Crazy Schmidt. I love Crazy Schmidt.
92:23Cowboy Jones. Because it's one of those, why do they call you crazy?
92:27It's like, you don't want to find out. Why do they call you Peekaboo Veach?
92:31You don't want to find out. God. Thank you, everyone who tagged us on this.
92:36Thank you, everyone, for emailing. I want to know.
92:38Yeah. Tell us other stories about getting kicked in the balls.
92:42I don't really know if we have better ones.
92:44Okay, wait. Hold on. Uno fights. Oh, God. What else?
92:47Have we looked at Cowboy Jones' Wikipedia picture yet?
92:50Because this is, I think, the craziest one I've ever seen.
92:53This looks like a cutout that was pasted into a magazine.
92:56This looks like. Oh, my God. That's insane. This looks like he's in a comic strip in 1901.
93:02Yeah. I don't even know where that came from.
93:04He went to the Colorado School of Mines. No.
93:07No. He went to the Colorado School of Mines.
93:10His nickname was Bronco. Cowboy Bronco Jones? He's from Golden, Colorado.
93:13Of course. He died in Inglewood when he was 83.
93:16He became the mayor of Golden, Colorado. He probably brought Coors to Colorado.
93:20He probably did. It's just so funny. This fucking guy probably drank beers his whole life, smoked cigarettes, and ate red meat every day.
93:27He lived to be 83. It's really intimidating to see 83 died in 1958.
93:31Yeah. In Inglewood. Man. Oh, my. I just found a picture of him when he was 83, Craig.
93:36Yeah? Visions of Al Davis. Oh, I see this.
93:39He's holding a pack of eggs with a cup of coffee, like a stud.
93:43Looks like he's in a rodeo or something. I mean, his fucking name's Cowboy Jones.
93:47Well, that makes sense. And text. So I don't remember.
93:50Why's he got a cowboy hat on? I don't remember where text came from.
93:54Checks out. Oh, my God. We got Dallas. He was from Detroit.
93:58Oh, you know what, DK? I think the guy you're looking up is not Cowboy Jones.
94:02Okay. There's another Cowboy Jones. I think this is a jockey.
94:06Okay. Well, that also makes sense. He would still wear a cowboy hat.
94:10The other Cowboy Jones. Probably a lot of Cowboy Joneses.
94:12I mean, I could see it being popular. I can't find a photo of our guy.
94:17What's Cowboy Jones's real name? I forget already. Albert.
94:20Albert? Hold on. I just had it. Albert Edward Cowboy Bronco Jones.
94:23Oh, he also got Bronco. Yeah. Double nickname. Okay.
94:26Yeah. There's not a lot of photos of this guy.
94:29There are zero. It is literally just this weird cutout drawing.
94:32There's a Cowboy Jones carpet cleaning company in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
94:35He probably started that. I love this photo. It's the only photo.
94:39It's the only photo that exists of this guy.
94:41It's like a weird. There's like stuff behind him.
94:44It's not a photo. It's like a map. Yeah.
94:47It looks like he's on a map. Like when you see Golden Colorado, there's a picture of him.
94:52But his shirt looks like it says Portland on it.
94:55Yeah. He played for Portland. That's why. Oh, but it's like, why would that be?
94:59Okay. He played for, I don't know. Where is this?
95:02He played for Portland? Did he play for Portland?
95:05He didn't even play for Portland. What? Who is this guy?
95:08Why? Why? Oh, here's a picture from his baseball reference page.
95:11He might've played for the Portland Giants, the minor league team, briefly.
95:15But why the fuck is that the photo of him?
95:18Anyway. Wait a second. So Patsy Thibault was the manager of the Cleveland Spiders for like a long time.
95:23Okay. I think he was a player manager. Is the nickname Pussy still around?
95:27Because I know there was a guy named Pussy on the Sopranos.
95:31Yeah. That was a long time ago. Email in if you go by Pussy in daily life.
95:36Was it he Big Pussy? Yeah. Yes, he was.
95:39It's like, I mean. His name was Sal. Sal Big Pussy.
95:42I forget his last name. Email in if you go by Pussy.
95:45That's Cousin Big Pussy, Sal, to you. Unbelievable. Okay.
95:48All right. I think we should have the show now.
95:51All right. Oh, my God. What a wormhole. Okay.
95:54Thank you, DK. Thank you, Craig. Thank you, Cam.
95:56Thank you, Abu. Thank you, Austin. Thank you, Carlos.
95:59Thank you, everyone for listening. Thank you, everyone for emailing.
96:02Emailing us will always take more names. Thank you, everyone for listening.
96:05Thank you, Lord. Lord. Thank you, Robin. Nice. Okay.
96:08Nice. Show me love. I don't know the whole song.
96:11Pick me up. It's like Dancing on My Own.
96:14It's the big one. Dancing on My Own is the one I know.
96:17Dancing on My Own. Yeah. What are you singing?
96:20Show Me Love. Are we thinking of the same Robin here?
96:23Ours has a Y. Yes. So she has some big hits.
96:27Pitchfork had Dancing on My Own is the number one song of the 21st century.
96:31What? What? Yeah. The number what song? One. First.
96:34Number one. I'm just the messenger. I mean, it does bang.
96:37Your honor, it does bang. The number one song.
96:39Literally first, yes. Okay. What's your number one song then if you're so smart?
96:44If you have the best taste ever. Why don't you name seven ones then instead?
96:48I don't know. Something like by fucking the Rolling Stones or I guess it was the 21st century.
96:53Yeah. Yeah. 21st century. That makes more sense. So once again, please.
96:57What is the best song of the 21st century?
96:59Oh God. LMFAO. Party Rock. Yeah. Party Anthem. What is that one?
97:03Party Rock Anthem. Yeah. Yeah. That is correct. That is the best song.
97:07That's the only answer I would have accepted. Yeah.
97:09That's a good one. I can't even picture the song.
97:12Sing it. I should have played that. Party Rock Anthem?
97:15No. Dancing on My Own. I keep dancing on my own.
97:19I'm in the corner watching you kiss her. Whoa.
97:21This came out. DK was definitely like DK was definitely like married or whatever, like in a relationship.
97:27And the song came out. This is like a real like 2 a.m.
97:30in the bar. You're sweaty and drunk screaming this song.
97:33I can't say I've clocked it yet. Not knowing this song is the divide of when you stopped going out.
97:39Yeah. Who named this the number one song of the century?
97:42Rolling Stone? I'm making sure I'm right, but I think Pitchfork.
97:46Oh no, I'm wrong. They had it third of the 2010s.
97:49Oh, okay. So it was a little wrong. They had Robin Third.
97:52They had Oblivion by Grimes too. And they had All Right by Kendrick Lamar, number one.
97:57And the other ones are, they had what? Formation by Beyonce Fourth, Thinking About You by Frank Ocean 5.
98:03And then obviously there's like 95 other songs. Yeah, I'm realizing I don't know the 2010s very well.
98:08Not my era. Robin released a new album this year called Sexistential.
98:12You should listen to it. Ooh. Oh, wow. Sounds good.
98:14No, it's- Sounds erotic. Yeah. It's not for me.
98:17It's because the music's bad or because you're married in Washington?
98:20No. All- It's just not for me. Diplomatic. Listen to it on your own.
98:24Robin's like out here like probably excited to be thanked on our show.
98:28And then we're just like, who's that? We don't like your new album.
98:32I love Robin. She's a great artist. Yeah, shout out Robin.
98:35She is. Amazing song. Dancing on Your Own? Come on.
98:38DK, listen to it. I'll check it out. DK, go to a club tonight.
98:42Okay. Pay the DJ $20 to pay that song.
98:45Okay. Play that song and you'll have a great time.
98:48Have a four loco. Yeah, yeah. And you'll live like it's 2010.
98:52DK's going to have like a bunch of- He's going to have three whiskeys during his night and just like listen to
98:58it and text us at like midnight and be like, this is a good song.
99:02Yeah, yeah. This is good. This holds up. Well, right.
99:05I already did the thank you. I guess I should just end the show now.
99:10You've done a lot of repeat thank yous these days.
99:13I'm rusty. Yeah. Losing track. That's what we call you.
99:16Rusty Heifetz. It's losing my, Rusty Heifetz. I'm losing my muster and my fastball like Charlie Fry.
99:21Rusty's a cool name. I like Rusty. Rusty is good.
99:24Pretzels. Rusty, I, Brad Pittman. Yeah, 2000, yeah. Ocean's 11th.
99:26Rusty's sick. Rusty's good. And you got Rusty Cole.
99:29Rusty Cole. He goes, he doesn't even do Rusty.
99:32It's just Rust. Rust, which is crazy. Rust is weird.
99:35I like it. Rusty's a deer. I like abnormally shortened names.
99:38There are some of my favorite names. Give me an example.
99:41Oh, like Rand instead of Randy or Randall. You like Rand?
99:44Sure. Who goes by Rand as a first name?
99:47Rand Paul. Yeah. I mean, maybe that's not the best example in the world.
99:51TK loves that name. TK loves Rand Paul's name.
99:54TK loves Rand Paul. Oh. I like, I do like less commonly shortened names.
99:58Yeah, like for Jeremy, like you call them Jer.
100:01Jer. 100%. That's good. You don't have to dilly dally on the second syllable and the second and only other syllable.
