Ashton Jeanty

NegativeInjury1:41

Ashton Jeanty suffered an ankle injury at practice that caused significant alarm, though it was later clarified as a sprain. The source notes that if it is a high ankle sprain, it could sap his explosiveness for the first half of the season, similar to past cases like CeeDee Lamb or Saquon Barkley, and recommends dropping him significantly in rankings if that diagnosis is confirmed.

Insight page
NegativeValue5:13

Due to the ankle injury, the source suggests moving Jeanty from a late first-round pick to the mid-to-late second round. Even with a low ankle sprain, he is now ranked behind top-tier running backs like Chase Brown, Derrick Henry, and Kenneth Walker, and sits in a tier with players like Brock Bowers and Nico Collins.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeValue41:38

Brian Thomas Jr. is viewed as a high-variance player similar to Rome Odunze, but his outlook is complicated by the presence of Parker Washington and Zay Jones in the Jaguars' offense. While he had a productive 1,400-yard season previously, the source notes he is currently being drafted in the 7th round and suggests splitting the difference on his value given the increased competition for targets.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveValue28:00

The source views Bucky Irving as a potential value play, suggesting his disappointing 2025 season was largely due to injury and a decimated offensive line. With Tristan Wirfs returning, the source believes Irving could return to his rookie-year form as a lead back, making him a worthwhile bet at his current ADP despite concerns about backfield competition.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeValue56:51

Deebo Samuel is currently being drafted as the WR51, which the source argues prices in the risk of him being 'washed' or injury-prone. While his usage as a wingback/gadget player remains consistent, his reliance on yards-after-catch and injury history are concerns, but his current ADP makes him a viable late-round target.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout66:09

Denzel Boston is receiving rave reviews for his performance during the preseason.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeBust60:06

Deshaun Watson is described as having the 'yips' and playing poorly, with the source noting he is the worst quarterback in Browns history. Despite being named the starter, the source advises against drafting any Browns players due to the toxic team environment and poor offensive outlook.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveProjection58:32

The source expresses optimism regarding George Kittle, suggesting he is a great pick this year and predicting he will play by Week 2, potentially recovering from his Achilles injury better than typical expectations.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveBreakout66:16

Harold Fannin is noted as having one of the better rookie tight end seasons in Emory, though the source currently advises against drafting him due to the overall Browns team situation.

Insight page

Jalen McMillan

PositiveSleeper50:16

Jalen McMillan is a deep sleeper who showed immense promise as a rookie, including a streak of five games with a touchdown. Despite a severe neck injury, he returned to show flashes of talent. With Mike Evans gone and Chris Godwin dealing with injury history, the source believes McMillan could emerge as the Buccaneers' number two or even number one target by October.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveSleeper46:09

Juwan Johnson is identified as a major sleeper, as he finished third in receiving yards among tight ends last year despite only scoring three touchdowns. With Taysom Hill's role in the passing game diminished and the Saints' tight end rotation expected to stabilize, the source believes Johnson has top-8 tight end upside and is a perfect target for those waiting on the position.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeBust40:25

While acknowledging Luther Burden is an electric talent, the source warns he may be one of the worst-priced players in fantasy. The hype is based entirely on Ben Johnson's praise and potential rather than proven NFL production, leading the source to suggest that investors should prioritize proven players like Rome Odunze instead.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveValue17:52

The source argues that Marvin Harrison Jr. is an undervalued bet at his eighth-round ADP. Despite concerns about the Cardinals' offense and schedule, the source highlights that Jacoby Brissett is a competent quarterback who could support Harrison in garbage-time scenarios, noting that Harrison saw significant targets in their limited time together last season.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout24:55

Despite a disappointing start to his career, the source views Marvin Harrison Jr. as an interesting post-hype sleeper in the eighth round. The reasoning includes a full offseason to build chemistry with Jacoby Brissett and a shift in the Cardinals' offense under Michael LeFleur toward more in-breaking and crossing routes, which better suit his skillset than the deep outside routes he ran previously.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveBreakout32:28

The source highlights Matthew Golden as a post-hype sleeper who is now slated to start in the role vacated by Romeo Doubs. Despite a quiet rookie season, Golden is noted for his explosive speed and first-round pedigree. The source argues that his increased snap share in a Matt LaFleur offense makes him a strong late-round dart throw.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveSleeper14:58

Mike Washington Jr. has impressed in the preseason with explosive runs. While he is a clear handcuff to Ashton Jeanty, the source notes he is a more exciting, explosive player than Tyler Allgeier, though he may struggle with efficiency if he faces frequent contact in the backfield. He is currently viewed as a 10th-round target.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveUsage42:44

Parker Washington is highlighted as a player who has earned significant trust from Trevor Lawrence, particularly on off-schedule plays. The source notes that Washington is currently being drafted ahead of Brian Thomas Jr. and has become a beloved figure in the Jaguars' offense, making him a viable late-round target.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveBreakout66:11

Quinchon Judkins has looked great in the preseason while returning from a significant injury.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveSleeper20:30

The source identifies RJ Harvey as a high-upside sleeper in the ninth round, noting his 12-touchdown rookie season and heavy involvement in the passing game (47 catches). Despite competition from J.K. Dobbins and Jonah Coleman, the source argues Harvey is the primary pass-catching back in a Sean Payton offense and could benefit from a more favorable defensive environment this year.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

PositiveValue39:59

The source identifies Rome Odunze as a prototypical buy-low candidate, noting that his struggles last year were largely due to a foot injury rather than talent. Despite concerns about his boom-bust profile and Caleb Williams' downfield passing, the source argues that at his current round 6-7 ADP, he is one of the most talented players available. The source highlights that the Bears' offense ran through him early last season before his injury, making him a better bet than unproven hype candidates.

Insight page

Ryan Flournoy

PositiveSleeper52:39

Ryan Flournoy is identified as a rare 'receiver handcuff' in the Cowboys' offense. The source notes that he has received significant praise in camp and has proven he can step up as a starter when primary receivers are sidelined. He is a strong candidate for the final spot on a fantasy bench.

0:38So yeah, that is live on Netflix, 11 in Pacific, 2 p.m.
0:41Eastern. Check it out, it's gonna be fun. We're doing the draft room punishments thing.
0:45We're gonna make them way worse this year. Sal's gonna come on later, we'll talk about that.
0:49And, we have a live show on Thursday, August 27th.

0:56It'll be very fun. Tickets in the description of this episode, or you can go to ringer.com slash events.
1:01All right, we're in person next two weeks. We're gonna go through sleepers and Ashen Gente, injuring his ankle in a moment.
1:07But first, we're gonna take a quick break. This episode is presented by Verizon.
1:11Let me tell you all about Verizon's new simplicity plan.
1:14You get one plan, one price, just $30 a line per month, even for a single line.
1:18So, while everyone is running for trade analyzers before offering a backup tight end, Verizon said, one plan, one price.
1:24Sometimes the simplest move is the best one, like the simplicity plan.
1:27Head to Verizon.com today. For new customers, $30 per line includes auto pay and switch discount.
1:31Additional taxes, fees, and terms apply. Unlimited data is restricted to on-device smartphone usage.
1:35Domestic data roaming at 2G speed. All right, we're gonna go over post-type sleepers, deep sleepers.
1:39But first, Ashen Gente, hurt his ankle at practice on Sunday.
1:42Danny Kelly, this sucks for a lot of reasons.
1:44There was a five-hour window we thought Gente was really hurt, but that's maybe a lesson in perhaps why social media is not just immediately to be believed.
1:52There was a lot of catastrophizing online. I thought this man's leg fell off and then 12 hours later it's like, it
1:58appears to be just a normal ankle injury and he's gonna be all right.
2:01Like, what the fuck? What's going on online? The report that came out, and this is not like anyone was making things
2:07up, like the team got together after the injury, stopped practice, they gathered everyone together, people were weeping.
2:12They were on a knee praying for this man.
2:14He sprained his ankle. The internet now with stuff like this, because for a lot of reasons, it's just literally a game of telephone.
2:21You're like, Ashen Gente's hurt. It's like, I heard Gente's hurt.
2:24I heard everyone's crying. I heard people gather up.
2:26He's out for the season. They medevaced. He was in a helicopter.
2:29And then Schefter's like, his ankle sprained. And I'm like, okay.
2:32Sprained ankle just sounds so benign. I've never seen a false alarm injury quite like this.
2:37I know, this is up there. There was like a five-hour point where he was falling down.
2:41People were sharing screen grabs where he was going in the 11th round.
2:44I know, it's funny now that people got Ashen Gente in the 11th round.
2:48They're gonna win the league. Well, that thing is, people just be like, oh, he's hurt.
2:52I got to stay out for the season. And they're like, we need to go back to a morning edition and a late edition of a newspaper.
3:00It used to be a morning one, late one, that's it.
3:03We need to go back. I'm nostalgic for those days.
3:05Cronkite. Yeah. Let's bring him back. An hour a day, it's all I need.
3:09Good night and good luck. We have to figure out- Actually, that wasn't Cronkite, but whatever.
3:13I wouldn't know. We have to figure out where we're gonna rank Ashen Gente now.
3:17And Mike Washington Jr., his backup. And also Dylan Laube, who's like kind of the passing down back guy.
3:22And here's the problem. Adam Schefter said it's an ankle sprain for Ashen Gente, not a long-term injury.
3:27I feel like long-term injury in Adam Schefter parlance is like, he didn't break his ankle.
3:31He's not out for the season. It's not a surge at the end of the year.
3:36Like, I think even if it was a high ankle sprain, Adam Schefter would be saying it's not a long-term injury.
3:41So the question is, like, is it a low ankle sprain, which Ashen Gente might be practicing again within seven days or
3:47ten days if it's a low ankle sprain. And he'll probably be fine for week one.
3:51But if it's a high ankle sprain, now Ashen Gente might miss week one, might miss week two, might have his explosiveness
3:57really taken from him for the entire first half of the season, look like a different lesser player if it's a high ankle sprain.
4:04And be the worst case of like, you're gonna play him and he won't really be that good.
4:08So that's the difference between Ashen Gente dropping from like our 12th player to like maybe 18th if he's a low ankle sprain or 20th.
4:15And if he's a high ankle sprain, we're gonna drop him like rounds and maybe two or three, four rounds.
4:20And so we need to figure out what we're gonna do.
4:23But let's just say for a second, we find out it's a low ankle sprain.
4:27Do you guys agree with me? I think Ashen Gente, we should put him like 18th to 20th, which is basically he behind the top 10 running backs.
4:35He's now falls to the bottom of the tier of O'Meara and Hampton behind Chase Brown in the Bengals, behind Derek Henry
4:41on the Ravens, behind Ken Walker on the Chiefs.
4:43Hampton? Yeah, I think he's the bottom of those running backs because he's hurt and he's already strike two because strike one
4:49is that the Raiders are not expected to be a high scoring team.
4:52Right, right. And the other guys are. So I think if he's a low ankle sprain, now it's like it's Gente versus
4:58Brock Bowers, Gente versus, you know, Nico Collins, Drake, London, AJ Brown, Trey McBride.
5:02Like, does that sound roughly correct to you guys?
5:04Yeah, I think because we have limited information right now, if you're drafting tonight or tomorrow, something like that, I do think
5:10you have to play it a little safe and push him from a late first rounder to a second rounder.
5:15So I agree. There's kind of like a top 12 running backs in our opinion that kind of, we feel like you need to get two of.
5:23I think he remains in that tier. He's just at the bottom of it.
5:26So yeah, we had him going at the end of the first.
5:30Now he should go like mid second, mid to late second.
5:32And then obviously, that's to me even if it's like a low ankle sprain because I get nervous.
5:37If it's a high ankle sprain and he might miss a couple weeks or up to a month or something like that,
5:43he's significantly falling just because the chances of him coming back to full health with a high ankle sprain.
5:48We've seen what happened to guys like CeeDee Lamb last year.
5:51It's really, really difficult. If you guys find DK, if it's a high ankle sprain and he's expected to come back week
5:57two to four, where are you putting him? That's a really good question.
6:00I'm dropping him down. I mean, look, this is kind of what we're dealing with with Jeremiah Love, who has a high ankle sprain.
6:07And he dropped in our rankings at least a round, maybe two rounds.
6:10He's now a fourth rounder for us. He was a third rounder.
6:13So, I don't know, down... Is he in that range?
6:16The Jeremiah Love range? Yes, I think so. And I think that it's hard because the Jeremiah Love thing is pretty similar because they're both on bad teams.
6:24We don't know how the run game is going to look.
6:26I think that Clint Kubiak is going to elevate this run game and elevate this offense overall.
6:31But you still have massive questions. This was already question marks for Ashen Gente.
6:35Some people thought maybe he's even too high based on just the team environment.
6:38And now you add in this injury, you add in the fact that he's probably going to be sapped of some of
6:44his explosiveness when he does get back. May never look like himself this season at all.
6:49Which happens all the time. I think you have to drop him.
6:52You have to drop him down. Again. I don't know exactly where, but like, are you taking Javante Williams over him now?
6:58If it is a high ankle sprain? I think, realistically, I'm taking the receivers in those range now.
7:02Like, we probably would rank him behind Javante Williams if it's a high ankle sprain.
7:06Just because again, things like that, they can be managed during the season, but they're not necessarily healing.
7:11Like, you're playing in NFL season. CeeDee Lamb is a great example of this.
7:15The beginning of week three, CeeDee Lamb came out red hot last year.
7:18And then the beginning of week three, first quarter, he gets a high ankle sprain.
7:22Wasn't really himself for like a couple months and ended up having his worst season statistically since he was a rookie.
7:28But like, I mean, Odell Beckham had a high ankle sprain.
7:31It was never the same. Saquon Barkley lost like basically a year of his career to a high ankle sprain.
7:36Michael Thomas had a high ankle sprain and barely played football ever again.
7:40That's a higher grade high ankle sprain and there was surgery stuff.
7:43But like, even a low grade affects you for months.
7:46And I think if it's a high ankle, I'm like, I just don't want to take him.
7:50So I would, I think we should put Gentie in a place, frankly, where you don't take him.
7:55I think he's below like Luther Burton. I think he's like a fringe top 50 player of Ashton Gentie has a high ankle sprain.
8:01Because again, it's like the moment you have him, you, if he misses games, then he comes back and then he might just not be himself.
8:08He's not going to play as much. It's just like the kind of thing you never want to be in that situation.
8:14And the other problem with high ankle sprain is it's not like, well, in two months, he'll be better.
8:19It's not quite that simple. Yeah. And there's a risk of re-injury.
8:22It's just, I do think like fourth, fifth round, I think is reasonable if he has a high ankle sprain.
8:28I mean, you're not going to, you're not going to be happy with him on your team.
8:32It's going to be kind of an annoying run with him.
8:35Literally. And the other problem with high ankle, and again, it's explode.
8:38It saps your explosiveness. It's kind of like the space gym.
8:41It takes what makes you special. And if there's any re-aggravation of it, then it's like, now he has to miss a lot of time.
8:48So I just don't want to deal with that on my team.
8:51I just generally speaking, if you have healthy players or hurt players, I kind of just don't want to accrue injured players on my team.
8:58We should talk about Mike Washington now, the backup, the rookie who has really popped for the Raiders, who has really popped
9:04in preseason and has busted a couple of huge runs.
9:06A guy who kind of was- He busted him?
9:09He busted some runs. He made his runs bust.
9:11But kind of a weird guy coming out of college.
9:14He's like, big guy, super fast 40, but like a lot of the underlying metrics around him were that maybe he's not like the best pure runner.
9:21Yeah. And now, with this Gentie injury and what we've kind of seen already, the little glimpses of the Kubiak scheme and
9:27Mike Washington, what he's done, looking super explosive. They have Dylan Lobby.
9:30Lob? How do you say it? I think it's Lobby.
9:33But what do I know? The way that they pronounce it on the game broadcast yesterday or whenever was crazy.
9:38It was like, they made it like four syllables.
9:40I can't even remember how they said it. Lobby?
9:43Lobby. Lobby-wee. Is Mike Washington now a surefire person that you should 100% draft?
9:46Is he like an official handcuffed draft pick? I think he has to be, at least until we have the diagnosis.
9:52Because if Ashton JT has a high ankle, Mike Washington's going to play a lot and probably get early down.
9:57I don't know if the Raiders' backfield will be so fun because you're going to have Dylan Lobby, whatever, taking the third down passing work probably.
10:04And Mike Washington's probably early down goal line guy.
10:07Sometimes the backup running back on a bad offense is never as good as you think it's going to be.
10:12No, honestly I think Mike Washington's really similar to Tyler Algier where you're going to be a lot of similar early down
10:18playing work for the Algiers on the Cardinals now.
10:20And he's probably going to be lead guy with Jeremiah Love Hurt to begin the season.
10:24But you're not really excited to put him in your lineup.
10:27Mike Washington's like a way more exciting player to watch probably.
10:30Well, he's way more explosive, yeah. He's going to break off big runs but probably get hit in the backfield a lot too.
10:36But doesn't do what Algier does, which is all the little things that coaches love, which is like what Nate was talking
10:42about last week, not fumbling, all these things. So I'm like, I would take him probably in that range, but I wouldn't
10:48be, I don't, I'm not, I feel like Mike Washington is probably going to go high in drafts because people know about JT.
10:54Yeah. I think he should be right around there.
10:57Like Dalton Kincaid, Isaiah Likely, 120th player for us, which is like, you know, 10th router in a 12-team league.
11:02Yeah, that's right about where I have him. I do think he should be drafted for sure, but maybe you don't need to reach crazy for him.
11:09If it comes out that JT has a horrible high ankle and he's going to miss like a month or a month
11:15and a half, then it's a different situation probably.
11:17And I think JT probably needs to be, I think he's like, I think we move him down to like top 30
11:23because I think, I don't know, I'm curious what you guys think.
11:26I feel like we need to build in a little risk that it's high ankle.
11:30Like even if we think it's a low ankle sprain and he's back immediately, I think it's- Well, I thought he lost his foot.
11:37Yeah. So high ankle's kind of a four out of 10.
11:40And that's the thing. So I feel like he should be around Josh Allen, like right, probably Josh Allen ahead of him,
11:46Chris Olave, George Pickens, Trey McBride ahead of him, Malik Nabors has its own conversation.
11:50Yeah, there's kind of a big gap in running backs.
11:52He probably slots in there. And then it's like Devontae Smith, Ladd McConkie, Ted Aroa McMillan, Tee Higgins, Kyron Williams, like right around those tier of guys.
11:59I think JT goes somewhere in there. Yeah, I agree.
12:02And then if he ends up confirmed having a low ankle, we would move him up probably 10 spots and have him
12:08more in that range around Brock Bowers, A, Chan Hampton, and just be like, okay, he's now at the bottom of the
12:14elite tier of second round running backs. Yeah. But he's hard to get that.
12:18Third to fourth round, depending on the news. So check out what the definition is or the diagnosis.
12:22Thank God he's, knock on wood, gonna be fine.
12:25Okay. All right, let's get to post-type sleepers. I think it is a worthwhile exercise where this happens a lot in every sport.
12:31This actually just happened in baseball where Jordan Walker won the home run derby and everyone had kind of given up on Jordan Walker.
12:37He's like a top five prospect. He's supposed to be amazing.
12:40He came into the majors and wasn't very good.
12:43Well, he was actually really bad. He was one of the worst players.
12:46I picked him up on my major league or on our fantasy baseball team.
12:50He's been great. And then this year. I didn't make the playoffs though.
12:53Oh yeah. Cal Raleigh. Yeah, Cal Raleigh was your first play.
12:56I did not realize that we were only doing a five team playoff, so I didn't make it either.
13:01Yeah, I kept waiting for you to learn that.
13:04Yeah, you didn't know that. Five? That's ridiculous. We don't do six?
13:07Who? We kept saying you were gonna make the playoffs, so I'm like, you didn't do the one team has a five?
13:13Well, you guys were all mathematically eliminated and I was not.
13:16And I assumed that's because I was in sixth and sixth made it.
13:19He's like sitting back just like, ah. What the fuck?
13:22Who does five out of 12? Who does five?
13:24Dude, who's the commissioner of this league? Did we vote on that?
13:27I don't know. Who's the commissioner? That's crazy. I'm gonna light up that group chat.
13:31I've won five straight. You didn't? I'm aware. I'm just granting the will of the people.
13:36He probably tweaked that last week when he knew I was gonna make it.
13:39Oh, actually, that's sick. I'm just gonna cut Craig out.
13:42But the point being that Jordan Walker then has had an amazing first half of the season, wins home run derby, everyone's like, oh, he's amazing.
13:49And then he's like, he's 23! It's recent. Players bail too quickly.
13:52It's like they put all their eggs in one basket.
13:55If it doesn't work out, they move on to the next shiny thing.
13:58Mm-hmm. When sometimes it can take a year or there were other circumstances- That used to be the norm!
14:03That went into play, of course. Yeah. There's a reason that it's don't judge a draft class after three years.
14:09So we wanted to go through some players that we, some players we like, some players we've written off, some players are Marvin Harrison Jr.
14:15and we basically have sworn to being dead to us forever.
14:18But we wanted to just have an objective lens on players that are basically the cheapest they've ever been, but it wouldn't
14:24really be weird if they were just really good all of a sudden, and we wanted to go through which of these
14:30post-type- They're all post-hype, and we wanted to kind of be like, which of these are post-type sleepers?
14:35You know, it's guys with either high draft capital that haven't really worked out early on in their career, or guys who
14:40had a great rookie year and then a bad sophomore year and are now coming back for their third year.
14:46Yeah, and you're like, well, I guess this person was really hyped at one point.
14:50I don't know why we're shocked, and so I think we have to start this one with Marvin Harrison Jr.
14:55from the Cardinals. Maserati Marv! Where, you know, I suppose we've been, I have been closed off to the possibility of him
15:01being good, and we wanted to just- You're fixated on the idea that his name is what got him drafted fourth overall.
15:07It's part of it. Which is absolutely not true.
15:09Oh, that's not true. What do you mean absolutely not true?
15:12It is certainly a factor. Okay, maybe absolute is hard to say, but it was maybe- It inflated his value.
15:17I think it- Maybe a tiny bit. He was a really good prospect.
15:21As simple as Malik Nabors probably would have just gone higher if he was named Fred.
15:25But still Marvin Harrison. Marvin Harrison was a very good prospect.
15:28I will stand firm on that one. So why has he not been as good as everyone unanimously said?
15:33I think a number of factors. Number one, I think he got in his own head.
15:37I think he's been, his confidence has been shot, which I think is a big variable for any person- I think he's talking about shots and the Harrisons.
15:45Sure, okay. You said it. His confidence has been eroded.
15:48And I think that has mattered. I don't think Kyler Murray was a great fit for him or the offense that they
15:53ran him in, the routes that they were having him do.
15:56He wasn't necessarily very good where he's just basically, you know, running deep routes on the outside, having to win at the catch point.
16:03That hasn't been his forte so far. He's bulked up in the offseason.
16:06I don't know if that's going to help or not.
16:09I keep bulking up. He's bulked up even more.
16:11It is an insane, the way he is bulked up- He looks like a bodybuilder.
16:15It is not the way other receivers try to improve their bodies in the offseason.
16:19I do think there's something subconscious about it. He does need to get stronger at the catch point.
16:24It's like every time he starts thinking about people talking shit, he's like, I gotta go lift.
16:29Yeah. I'm gonna lift this out. But I do think there's several variables that could make it for a big post-type sleeper bump this season.
16:35Number one, a full offseason. Well, I guess he did kind of miss time with Jacoby Brissett with the holdout.
16:41But a full offseason with Jacoby Brissett getting on the same page as him.
16:44Kyler's gone. I think he fits into the offense that Michael LeFleur is bringing, where he's running more in-breaking routes, deep digs, crossing routes, over routes.
16:51We saw that in college. I think that was kind of his bread and butter.
16:55I think he'll have an opportunity to do that a lot more.
16:58I think they'll move him around the offense a little bit more this year with Michael Wilson.
17:03I think also what you're talking about, and I think the quiet part out loud with this is, was he a bad fit with Kyler Murray?
17:10Yes. That, I think for sure. Especially with the way that Kyler Murray likes to...
17:14It's kind of like what we saw. I mean, Kyler Murray definitely leaned on Trey McBride, but he couldn't find him to
17:20save his life in the red zone. I feel like there's a little bit of that where Kyler Murray just didn't really
17:26mesh well with what the way that they were utilizing Marvin Harrison the first couple of years.
17:30So I think there's a couple of variables here.
17:32I still think he's a good player, probably never going to live up to what we thought he would be coming into
17:38the league or what some people thought he would be.
17:41As this generational prospect, basically the second coming of his dad, which was a super high volume, do everything receiver.
17:46I don't know if he's going to be better.
17:49I mean, his dad had the record for most catches in a season.
17:52But I mean, think about that. Like what he, what would Marvin Harrison have been if Peyton Manning wasn't his quarterback?
17:58Who knows? You know what I mean? Like these things matter.
18:01The environment does matter. And I think the environment for him this year will be better.
18:05I think the offense will be a better fit.
18:07And so I'm, I'm, I think at cost, he's a pretty interesting bet.
18:11He's going in the eighth round. Yeah. I think there's a lot of upside there to outplay what he, where he's going.
18:17I don't disagree with him that like on paper, you have to admit that there is upside there taking him in the
18:22eighth round and die with his pedigree. I am every year.
18:25There's always one player that I hate that he seems to do really well.
18:29And I fully understand that there's a world where the Cardinals are just as bad as last year.
18:34They throw actually a lot because they don't want to do as much passing, but they have to because they're behind constantly.
18:40They have the hardest schedule. Yeah. And that Jacoby Brissett and ends up actually just throwing a ton of passes to Marvin Harrison Jr.
18:46And a better offense. And so, yeah. And like, when I look, I'm like Parker, like Parker Washington is going ahead of
18:52Marvin Harrison Jr., which I think if you'd said that to someone 12 months ago, they're, they'd be like, wow.
18:57Like who do you think sees more targets this year?
19:00That's the thing. That's why I think it's important to this episode.
19:03It's like a reality check. And I'm like, yeah, at some point, maybe there's just like a level of principle of like Marvin Harrison Jr.
19:10Just solely on like, like he should probably be drafted ahead of like Rico Dowdle and Jalen Warren on the Steelers.
19:15Like at some point, my bias is probably getting in the way.
19:19You can, you can talk yourself into the fact that Brissett, even though the Cardinals are going to be terrible, Brissett is
19:24kind of like a perfect garbage time fantasy quarterback.
19:27He's just going to fling the ball. He's competent.
19:29Last year, he had 23 touchdowns and eight picks.
19:32And if you look at- 200 passes in a month, pass attempts in a month.
19:36Yeah, he threw for like 3,000 yards, 23 touchdowns, eight interceptions.
19:39And if you look at like the last five games with Marvin Harrison and Brissett, like he was targeting him a lot.
19:44There were some pop weeks. Yeah. And so you're like, if you trust that this LaFleur office is going to be better
19:50scheme wise, they're going to be down the entire season and they're just going to throw it a ton.
19:55I don't know. It's not that crazy. The player I keep looking at, I'm like, I bet Marvin Harrison Jr.
20:01will have a better season than like Cardinal Tate.
20:03Yeah. Who's going ahead of him. I think that really is the thing.
20:07Yes. I agree with that. I think he probably would.
20:09The risk there is that I guess it's possible Cardinal Tate just becomes CeeDee Lamb and then it's like, wow, you missed out on that.
20:16You probably know Marvin Harrison Jr. is not CeeDee Lamb, but weirdly you could argue that the floor is hot, could be
20:22higher for Marvin Harrison versus Cardinal Tate. Because the Titans could be a disaster and Cam Ward might be really bad.
20:27We don't know. Right. Yeah. I think you're totally right.
20:30The next guy I want to bring up is, I don't know if he fully counts as a post-type sleeper because he
20:36like, he wasn't bad last year, but I do think that everyone's overlooked him.
20:40I mean, he scored 12 touchdowns, but everyone's overlooked him and has kind of decided like, hey, this didn't work.
20:45Which is RJ Harvey, the running back on the Broncos, who was a rookie last year.
20:49He had 12 touchdowns as a rookie, which is kind of insane.
20:52I didn't know who you were talking about. I thought you had someone else.
20:56Oh, I thought you were talking about RJ Harvey.
20:5812 touchdowns as a rookie. He caught 47 passes.
21:01He had 900 total yards. It was probably a little underwhelming as a runner.
21:05Some of his like, his yards per carry were low, but you can always find stats to support whatever.
21:10That's a claim you want to make. Like, he also faced the sixth highest eight-man boxes in the NFL last year, RJ Harvey.
21:16But my point is, is like, they brought back J.K.
21:18Dobbins and then they drafted Jonah Coleman, who DK described as the thinking man's Cam Scadaboo coming out of the draft this
21:24year, who has had a great camp and has looked really good in preseason.
21:28Yeah. And Sean Payton pulled him quickly out of the game because he was like, I've seen all I need to see.
21:34Jonah Coleman's good. And he looks good. He looks like an NFL running back.
21:38Yeah. So now it's like, all right, this is a three headed thing with Harvey, with Dobbins and with Coleman.
21:43But I guess, you know, you talk all the time about how you thought RJ, like everyone thinks RJ Harvey's Alvin Kamara and the Sean Payton offense.
21:50He's actually Darren Sproles. People are sick of me saying that, but I do want to say it's not a guess.
21:56Someone told me that it works for the Broncos.
21:58That's why I say it so much. It's like, it's...
22:01Why didn't you say that before? Yeah. Well, I'm just, I'm just saying, I know people are tired of me saying it,
22:07but having said that, what if he's better? I can't believe he averaged, he averaged 10.8 points per game last...
22:12I don't remember him being a factor. A lot of it was inflated by touchdowns.
22:16Yeah. He was the RB 27 in points. In pre-season week two, just this past week, and he caught like a 30
22:22yard touchdown wheel route from Bo Nix. Yeah. He's clearly a gifted wide receiver.
22:25He played every snap on the first drive and he had three touches on the first six snaps.
22:30Like, he was heavily, heavily involved in the, you know, one of the keys in fantasy is like, if you can find
22:36the guy late in drafts who catches a ton of passes, he had 47 as a rookie.
22:41Like, if he catches 70 passes this year, he is one of the best picks you can make in the ninth round, which is where he's going.
22:48This is the classic example to me. Heifetz, we've made this reference to where, you know, the meme where Woody's getting thrown in the garbage, you know?
22:55And it's like a new toy. We've got this new guy, Jonah Coleman.
22:58We can't wait for him to get on the field.
23:01He looks great. Guess what? RJ Harvey's still taking all the snaps ahead of him in the pre-season.
23:06Guess what? J.K. Dobbins currently not healthy. So, and Coleman seems to be more of the J.K.
23:10Dobbins insurance. Right. Not the RJ. Right. RJ Harvey's role might remain unchanged.
23:14And it's probably, no matter what, it's going to be a two-headed backfield.
23:17Like Sean Payton's always had with Mark Ingram and Kamara.
23:20And, you know, I don't believe any Sean Payton running back has ever had over 200 carries or 250 carries.
23:25So it's going to be a split, but it's what kind of valuable touches are you getting?
23:30And Harvey might get the good ones. Right. And I understand because I've probably been like very, not anti-Harvey, but like I
23:36probably have diminished him in the process of propping up Jonah Coleman.
23:39Wait. Oh my God. I'm literally joking as I'm saying it.
23:42Literally joking on my own words here. But that's the thing is Harvey makes me choke on my own words again, which happens sometimes.
23:48I admit that like the Broncos are a scary team to be against for all the reasons.
23:53I mean, Bo Nix had the most, sorry, Dak had the most completions, but Bo Nix had the most pass attempts last year.
23:59And if the Denver defense ends up being good or also they had a lot of turnovers too, if they end up
24:05in a little more shootouts, like don't forget last year in that process, they had all those comeback wins.
24:10Right. They had a lot of one score wins.
24:12And I'm like, I, I am a little afraid that RJ Harvey could just be an incredible player.
24:17Cause yeah, if Dobbins goes down. Yeah. Like if there, yeah, like he's going to get hurt.
24:22And that's the thing is I haven't said that other part of it is, and again, watch Jicky Dobbins play the whole
24:27season now because I've said it so many times, but it is weird to think that RJ.
24:32RJ Harvey is slated to have a lot of playing time on one of the best teams in the NFL.
24:37And the guy ahead of him is the most injured player in the NFL since COVID.
24:41And he has a lot more upside than like, he's going to reach Corey Krosky merit for Washington.
24:46And I'm like, there is so much more upside than him or, or like, you know, in RJ Harvey that like, you
24:52know, Rashad White or someone like that. It's a, it checks a lot of the boxes of like the late round running
24:58back criteria, which is ambiguous backfields guys who catch passes, good offenses with good play callers.
25:02And he also scored 12 touchdowns as a rookie.
25:05So he clearly is somebody who is good in the red zone and has an eye for the end zone.
25:10And so you're kind of just like, yeah, I, worst cases, I guess he's just the same thing he was last year,
25:16but I don't really see it getting worse. Where do we want to put him?
25:20Cause we have RJ Harvey kind of around Blake Corum.
25:22It's like a 34th running back. We have him around, like we have to John Stribble pretty high ahead of Michael Pittman,
25:28but we have him behind Courtland Sutton also in Broncos.
25:31I get, I would see the argument for taking RJ Harvey ahead of like Josh Downs on the Colts.
25:36I think you could convince me to your point ahead of maybe Chuba Hubbard on the Panthers where it's like, you know,
25:42I would take him over Rico Dowdle. That's the, we have not talked about those guys at all, but I'm like, yeah,
25:48it's like RJ Harvey over Jill and Warren. And I think I'd probably take a shot on him over Tony Pollard, to be honest.
25:54And racking up receivers in that range. I feel like the upside is higher.
25:58Yeah. You're just on a good offense. Yeah. That's the other thing is like, you can kind of rack up those receivers.
26:04And then like when even like a Marvin Harrison Jr.
26:06Carnell Tate is gone. And then there's like DK Metcalf with Rogers is left and Jaden Reed on the Packers and Josh Downs at the Colts.
26:13Diggs with Washington, all these kinds of weird receivers.
26:16I like Diggs, but Cortland Sutton and Denver, like Jordan Addison and the Vikings.
26:19It's a weird range of receivers. And if you've loaded up on four guys by then, then like you might be able to grab an RG Harvey.
26:27You made a good point too, with the stacked boxes thing, like with Jalen Waddell in the mix, there's a chance they
26:32can't stack the box against Denver quite as much this year.
26:35You know what I mean? And he gets more opportunity to rip off big plays.
26:39So he had 57% of the teams inside the five yard line carries, which is higher than I would imagine for a
26:45guy who, you know, like Heifetz has said is kind of more of a smaller scat back type of guy.
26:51He's still getting inside the five yard, five yard line carries.
26:53So yeah, we're probably overlooking him. To me, he feels like the classic example of the guy fantasy people want to get
26:59out of the way, but then just doesn't get out of the way.
27:03Well, see, I feel like most people like him.
27:05I feel like I'm contrarian for not being in love with RG Harvey.
27:09I think this year the hype has disappeared. I think it's all Jonah Coleman.
27:12And it's like, oh, now this is a three headed thing.
27:15RG Harvey didn't work out. Now he's just like a, like a one B.
27:19I feel like a bubble with me. I mean, he's the RB 32 and it's going in the ninth round.
27:24Yeah. Cause it's funny. You think about a guy like Tony Pollard, who's on the Titans.
27:29The Titans scored 24 touchdowns last year. RG Harvey had 12 on his own.
27:32The Titans scored 24. The Broncos scored double 45.
27:35Like you're just getting, you're just getting more juice.
27:37You're in the right areas. Like the last thing you want to do with your, with your late round dart throws is
27:43like getting a guy on a team that doesn't sniff the end zone.
27:46That's the thing. It's like, well, he won't score 12 again.
27:49I'm like, yeah, but you do want someone who's in the red zone a lot with Sean Payton.
27:54Another guy that I wanted to talk about that I think is perfect for this exercise of a post-type sleeper is Bucky
28:00Irving, who was not hyped coming to his rookie year.
28:03Amazing as a rookie. Terrible 2025. One of the five most disappointing players last year.
28:07And now Bucky Irving is just kind of... And then Kenny Gainwell showed up to Tampa.
28:11Steelers MVP. That's right. I think so. Team leader in catches.
28:14Kenny Gainwell. Yeah. Kenny Gainwell. He gains well. I think there's a chance that we're completely overlooking Bucky Irving.
28:19This is more of like a... It's less of like I feel very strongly that Bucky Irving is going to be awesome
28:25and, you know, be one of the best picks in fantasy and more just like a probability play that...
28:30What if the Bucky Irving we saw his rookie year, it just comes back because he's not hurt?
28:35You know what I mean? What if he comes back because the offensive line isn't decimated by injury?
28:39You know what I mean? So these are the kind of bets you can make where he's going in the draft.
28:45He's going around where R.J. Harvey is going, which is like ninth or tenth round or whatever it is.
28:50And so to me... Well, it depends where you are.
28:53Bucky, he's going a lot... Pretty decently higher than that some places, like top 60 player.
28:57Okay. Yeah. Sorry. I was a little confused on that one.
29:00But yes, I think regardless the bet is he just returns to form after not being injured all season.
29:05And what we saw from him as a rookie was tons of broken tackles, very elusive, lots of pass catching.
29:10He came out of nowhere and immediately looked like one of the better running backs.
29:14Yeah, he was their lead back. And now the bet is, or I guess like the thought is, he's going to lose
29:20his job inside the red zone, which he kind of did last year, to Sean Tucker, who is kind of just a hammer.
29:26Who's still there. Who's still there. And then Kenny Gainwell, who to me, the Kenny Gainwell thing is less of a concern
29:32just because he's so similar to Rashad White. Rashad White went to Washington.
29:36He's a very similar player. I still think there will be a rotation.
29:39I think there will be, you know, he's going to be, Gainwell's going to get plenty of opportunities in the passing game.
29:45But I do think if Bucky is healthy this year, there's a chance he's just their lead back again and returns to
29:51form and is going to pay off where he's going.
29:53He's RB21 in ADP. And, you know, again, he was really, really good his rookie year.
29:58And I think it was just an injury situation last year that he kind of like fell off.
30:02I'm just afraid of him because I think I like where he's at.
30:06And I think he's actually appropriately priced. He's the first.
30:09I think the players we've discussed are like really worth considering going higher for.
30:12And Irving, I'm like, I just, I think the fear is that Liam Cohen was the engine of the offense, rushing the
30:18ball for the Bucs two years ago. And then the Jaguars last year.
30:22And that it's, that's where the success came from.
30:24And I think that the possibility of getting the lead back, I'm like, it's kind of, I mean, he's near Quinshawn Judkins.
30:30We don't like, I mean, Cleveland, I'm not into that, but I'd rather have Ramondra Stevens and Jadarian Price in Seattle.
30:35I kind of like that better on a team with a great defense, even Trevion Henderson.
30:40I, I, I don't, the running backs, Travis H.
30:42And for the saints, now that, um, Camara's hurt.
30:45I'm like, man, Travis H. And it's going to get more, I think more third down work despite the acquisition of what Zemir White at running back.
30:52I'm also worried about it. So I kind of just like those running backs more.
30:56And if I'm being honest, I think it's like an intellectual justification for, I don't know, that guy gave me the ick.
31:02I'm like, I just got the ick last year from Bucky.
31:04And I, the other guys around him just seem more exciting to me on better teams.
31:09And I don't know. But to, to DK's point, Bucky Irving is not going to be a sought after player in drafts.
31:15Like there's a chance Travis Etienne on New Orleans is like, Ooh, new team saints are by low or saints are kind
31:20of like a sleeper offense this year. Camara's hurt.
31:23I do think Bucky Irving has no juice right now.
31:26And you will be able to, I doubt he will start to rise.
31:29If anything, he will probably fall. And so in that regard, if you want to bet on honestly, just like natural regression
31:35and trust your eyes that this guy, his rookie season was fucking good.
31:38And he'll just be sitting there. You can get him for cheap and he'll be the third running back on your team.
31:44And you never know. Maybe he'll, he'll turn into the same guy we saw two years ago.
31:49Right. I think the offensive line thing is you can't overstate it.
31:52I mean, they just lost half their offensive line.
31:54Yeah. And Tristan Wurst is one of the most impactful left tackles in the league.
31:58He's really, really good player. I think that could like stabilize their offense completely.
32:02I mean, we saw what happened with Baker Mayfield last year.
32:05His performance fell off a cliff as well. I think it's all kind of just all connected to injuries.
32:10And to me, if they can, you know, if they can regress, like positively regress, just not be completely decimated by injuries.
32:16That's where Bucky Irving can kind of come back and shine.
32:19And I think that's kind of the bet I'd be willing to make at that spot.
32:23Who you got? The next thing I want to just ask again, I think these, guys are definitely post hype.
32:28And then I want to figure out if we're the sleepers.
32:31Sure. You know, some people in this show were really into Matthew Golden this year.
32:35I know. Last year. I can't. Yeah. Hmm. So it was a bad pick by you.
32:40It was not me, by the way. He was really into Matthew Golden.
32:43Saying bad things about me. First rounder for the Packers last year.
32:46And he didn't play as much. And then, you know, ended up getting like a little bit of injury situation, but mostly just didn't crack the rotation.
32:53And I think it was really annoying was he just then finally did something in the playoffs and looked really good, actually, in the loss to the Bears.
33:01Justin have wrote me in. But then Romeo Dobbs leaves.
33:03Donteven Wicks is traded to the Eagles. And so Matthew Golden is just going to start in Romeo Dobbs' role.
33:09He's probably not quite as technically precise necessarily as like Romeo Dobbs and all the little things, but he's much faster and
33:15has way more potential to be explosive. So I think Matthew Golden, he's not super.
33:19He's going as like an 11th round pick, basically, like, you know, it depends on some leagues where he might go higher.
33:24But for the most part, I think regular people aren't very excited about Matthew Golden because he's a second year player, didn't really do anything, wasn't that famous.
33:32I do wonder, though, if he is Romeo Dobbs with like a way more explosive element, if he's a good example of a second year hype receiver.
33:39Like if Quentin Johnson can come back from Quentin Johnson-ness.
33:42And anyone can. That's kind of what I'm asking.
33:44From Quentin Johnson-ness. Because Golden's going later this year than he was last year, even though now he's starting.
33:49He has QJ syndrome. QJ syndrome. And so that's kind of, that's a player that stuck out to me as like, I'm afraid to do that right again.
33:57But it is funny to think that last year the concern was, well, how's he going to play?
34:01And this year I'm like, they're like, nope, he's starting as like starting X receiver in Green Bay and he's going like
34:07closer to Romeo Dobbs than where he was last year.
34:10It's a great name to point out. It does nothing for me when I see Matthew Golden's name.
34:15But that is probably exactly why we're having this conversation because you're right.
34:18He's going to start. And if you want to start looking at the environment around him, it's pretty good.
34:23He's a first round pick that's coached by Matt LaFleur with Jordan Love.
34:27Also, it's not like the other two receivers on his team are not super injury prone.
34:31I mean, Christian Watson and Jaden Reed, when's the last time they put together a full season?
34:36That is super fair. Tucker Craft's going to be on a pitch count.
34:39Going to be on a pitch count. You know, I didn't think about it, but the Packers are a little bit like the Niners in that way.
34:46In that like Tucker Craft off an ACL, like Kittle off an Achilles, and that Jaden Reed.
34:51Josh Jacobs might get suspended for all we know.
34:53Like there is a lot going on. These guys could miss a lot of time.
34:57I don't think Jacobs will be suspended, but you're right.
35:00I mean, Jaden Reed had a foot surgery during his broken collarbone surgery.
35:03Like they did it the same week. These are just smart dart throws.
35:07It's just like once you get this late, no one knows anything.
35:10Yeah. You should just have a list of like 10 to 15 names that you've, whether you heard us talk about it
35:16or whoever, you're like, this makes sense to me.
35:18And I'm going to, I'm going to star their name.
35:21So if they're there, I'm going to take a shot because whatever situation is worth betting on.
35:25The, the, like the, the most basic stat that you can look at here.
35:29And sometimes it just really is this simple is last year.
35:3240 time. So fast. He was very, he is electric.
35:35And I think the other thing to remember, I didn't finish my, I cut him off.
35:39He just powered through that. It's sometimes it's as simple as snaps.
35:42Like he's going to play way more snaps this year.
35:45Last year he played like 50% of the snaps for this team.
35:48And with the dubs gone, dubs played or Dobbs played 78% of the snaps.
35:52And if he's just out there 80 to 85% of the time, he is going to get more volume and it's going to, it's going to pay off.
35:59And I think he still is that guy who was a first round pick.
36:03There's a reason he was a first round pick.
36:05He was making some really great plays late in his career for Texas.
36:09And I think we'll see more of that. Just have more of the opportunity to get into the flow of the offense.
36:15Last year, it felt like he was coming in cold off the bench and just didn't really.
36:19God forbid it takes a year. Yeah. You know, I think it comes down to this is that I think he has
36:25the floor because of him starting every week of like a Michael Pittman, not maybe not necessarily in the touchdown department and
36:31that he'll be the worst case is rock. Matthew Gold's a roster clogger because he's going to play.
36:36He will have stats kind of like Romeo Dobbs or you're like, you know, if I have to play him, but he's
36:41not going to win you, you know, league probably for like Michael Pittman.
36:45Whereas Matthew Gold's upside is yet to your point.
36:47Like if he ends up actually being able to command targets, he hasn't done that a ton, but I just think he's a, he's very cheap.
36:54I mean, he's going behind Tyler Algier. It's a dark throw.
36:57Before the football season begins, every team is undefeated.
37:00Every fan believes this could be the year. The year their team wins the division, makes the playoffs, lifts the trophy.
37:05And with FanDuel, you can bet on any of it from who will win it all and division winners to season win totals and playoff futures.
37:12FanDuel has all the ways to bet on the season before it even begins.
37:16Easiest bet. The Broncos are 20 to one to win the Superbowl.
37:19I don't really understand that because the Broncos made the AFC championship game last year, should have won, but Bo Nix got
37:25injured and then kept the entire team. And now they're 20 to one.
37:28That doesn't really make any sense to me because the Broncos probably are going to have the second best defense in the AFC.
37:34I just, how do the Broncos have the same Superbowl odds as the Packers?
37:38That doesn't make any sense. Like the Packers would be really weird if they made the Superbowl or at least surprising.
37:44The Broncos, it would be super normal. So the Broncos at 20 to one, it just feels mispriced.

37:59Another player I wanted to ask you guys about was Roma Dunze for the Bears.
38:03Less of a dart throw, going a little bit higher in drafts, but I think he's another prototypical buy low.
38:09Like this is a classic case of, you can kind of write off what happened last year for a lot of reasons
38:15that aren't really associated with Roma Dunze. Like many things.
38:17One, he hurt his foot and he's been dealing with that.
38:20Still dealing with it now. Although, I feel like he had that quote saying, my God, this is the new normal.
38:26My foot's different now. He's been practicing fully week after week and everything seems fine.
38:30He literally and figuratively walked that quote back, by the way.
38:33Oh yeah, you're right. He did be like, that's not what I meant.
38:36Yes, of course. It's shocking. People took one line and blew it out of proportion.
38:40You know, all the teammates surrounded him when he said it.
38:43Well, like in the same way that I have been hyping up Emeka Abuka about, man, the first month of the season last year.
38:49Oh yeah, yeah. He was nuts. He was so good.
38:52Roma Dunze was the same way. Roma Dunze was the number three wide receiver in fantasy.
38:56Sorry, who is it? Woma Dunze. Roma Dunze. Woma Dunze was the YWESIVA FWI for the first four weeks of the season last year.
39:03WOSIVA three. Like he was the best guy on the Bears.
39:06And in the same Abuka comparison, I was like, and now Mike Evans is gone.
39:10I'm like, well, now DJ Moore's gone. Luther Burden's got a groin injury.
39:13And you just have Roma Dunze who's healthier, who's a third year guy, who's a top 10 pick, who a lot of people think is a great player.
39:21Yeah. And some of the stuff with him was like, the types of passes that he gets compared to what Luther Burden
39:26and Colson Loveland get are high variance. Rome is getting like the downfield stuff.
39:30So like things that Caleb struggled a little bit more with last year.
39:34So it is a little bit more like boom bust of it.
39:37But I don't know. Talent alone, like this guy's going in like round six or seven.
39:41You're probably not going to get a more talented player in this round.
39:45I think if you're doing the devil's advocate thing with, because, you know, there's a ton of hype around Luther Burden.
39:50I think it is valid hype. But, you know, people are talking about how, oh, Ben Johnson has said the most exciting things about Luther Burden.
39:57He's like basically his son. He's so excited about him.
40:00And then he never says jack shit about Roma Dunze.
40:02And people are like, that tells me everything I need to know.
40:06Like the offense is going to run through Luther Burden.
40:08But the offense literally ran through Roma Dunze last year until he got hurt.
40:12And so it's like that to me, it's like, OK, maybe we've actually should go by what we've seen versus like the
40:18exciting idea of what Luther Burden could be. Because Luther Burden, I mean, for all the hype around him, he's probably he
40:24could end up being one of the least like the worst priced players in fantasy based on.
40:28Mike Clay at ESPN said Luther Burden was the most mispriced player he's ever seen.
40:32Because we haven't seen it. It's all it's all based on the idea and what things that Ben Johnson is saying.
40:38By the way, I believe I believe all these things for the record that like I think he really is.
40:43Ben Johnson really is excited about Luther Burden. And Luther Burden is an electric talent.
40:47So I believe those things. But we've kind of built him up into this thing.
40:51And by the way, we wanted to do a thing.
40:54Where did he go in the draft? He was like a top 10 pick.
40:58Yeah, he was like eighth. So I don't know.
41:00They had to restrain Ryan Poles the gym from trading up for him.
41:03They're like, bro, we have one more pick in the next five rounds.
41:07He was ninth. But still like, yeah, and he was one of them.
41:10I love that. I was like, he was eighth.
41:13He's like, ninth. Come on, Craig. Fucking idiot. So it's not as good.
41:16Moron. Pretty good. Well, I just wanted to be factually.
41:19Sure. Yeah, yeah. Your joke was factually incorrect. Yeah.
41:21The guy's a dying to love. This is the definition of a bylaw to me, Roma Dunze.
41:26Yeah. It's like, do you like Luther Burden? What if I gave you the same thing for half off?
41:31We're dancing around a thesis here, which is because here's the thing.
41:34You know who else you could throw in a bucket here is Brian Thomas Jr.
41:38from the Jaguars, who is going right around. Like Brian Thomas Jr.
41:41is also going in the range of Roma Dunze.
41:44And there is something of, if you just believe in the 2024 wide receiver class, you could end up in a world
41:49where you get Marvin Harrison Jr., Roma Dunze, and Brian Thomas.
41:52Well, the only difference is that the year that Brian Thomas went nuts, Jacoby Myers, Parker Washington, and Travis Hunter weren't a thing.
41:58Yeah, exactly. And now there's like a lot of new things going on.
42:02But I totally agree with you. Yeah, but last year he was like the 15th pick.
42:06And so I'm like, and he's going 75th. And so just out of principle, yeah, Parker Washington's there.
42:11Jacoby Myers is there. Totally. And they are important in luck.
42:14Their offense and outplayed him. But I do just sometimes, you just do sentences.
42:18Yeah, he had 1,400 yards. Like last year he was a second rounder, and now he's like a seventh rounder.
42:23Probably split the difference. That's kind of the thing.
42:25I think there's an emotional aspect here too. Yes.
42:28Because he ruined a lot of people's seasons last year.
42:30He was the biggest miss of the year maybe.
42:33To like hyping him up necessarily. But do you feel confident that he has a decent shot of being pretty good this year?
42:39I wish there had been more camp hype, and it freaks me out that Parker Washington's getting so much.
42:44To be honest, I thought coming into this season, I wrote in my notes at the end of the year, don't believe what anyone says about Travis Hunter.
42:51I was like, Parker Washington will start for this team.
42:54And I thought that people were going to be doing the dance that, well, Travis Hunter might play.
42:59And I'm like, Parker Washington can't come off the field.
43:02And it's been the other way where it's like, Parker Washington is just beloved.
43:05And everything with Trevor Lawrence, as soon as the play ends off schedule and Trevor Lawrence is scrambling, he's finding Parker Washington.
43:11And so now Parker Washington is going ahead of Brian Thomas, which makes sense to a point.
43:16But I'm like, man, I don't want to lean too much on the draft talent.
43:20But Brian Thomas was a first-round pick. Parker Washington, was he even drafted?
43:23I think a sixth-rounder, I think. Yeah, he's a sixth-rounder.
43:26And I'm like, yeah, but he just fits perfectly in this bucket to me.
43:29The irony is that unlike Marvin Harrison or Roman Dunze, he's actually – he was a top-five receiver in fantasy two years ago.
43:36Yeah, and like Rome, he's a little bit more high variance, right?
43:39Like he's – down-the-field stuff is kind of where he thrives.
43:42And so you're probably going to get an up-and-down season out of him.
43:45But I think I'm buying it. I don't know.
43:48At that cost too, yeah. The quotes out of camp with him are that – they've basically figured out and landed on
43:53what his role is supposed to be and that it's working and that he's like come with a great mentality this year.
43:59He looks good. The drops are gone. Like it seems like the talent we saw in year one is real.
44:05And so I'm buying that they just figured out what his role is supposed to be and maybe it's not 140 targets
44:10a year guy, but that he can still be really valuable at the right position.
44:14Okay, so let's say it's the seventh round in a draft.
44:17Let's say you've had two running backs and you have four receivers or two running – I don't know.
44:22Make up whatever. Okay. Two running backs. You have 10 running backs.
44:26You have 10 running backs. And you can pick – and all on the board are Marvin Harrison Jr.
44:31You decide for whatever reason you want a receiver.
44:33And you're looking at Marvin Harrison Jr., Roma Dunze, Brian Thomas, and Parker Washington.
44:37Who are you actually taking? Who are you actually selecting with your pick?
44:40Wait. Rome, Parker, Brian Thomas. Who? And who else?
44:43Marvin Harrison Jr., Roma Dunze, Brian Thomas, and then Parker Washington.
44:46I'd probably take Rome first. I think so too, yeah.
44:48And then I would probably take Parker Washington. Yeah.
44:51That's where my head went to. I think is – I think I would probably take – funnily enough, I'd probably take Marvin last on that group.
44:58Well, I don't know. I think the Brian Thomas Jr.
45:01and Marvin Harrison arguments are pretty similar. It's like he got hurt – well, Brian Thomas got hurt and he was like – he lost his confidence.
45:08He's like drops like crazy. I think he got it in his own head.
45:11And other surrounding talent. And then it started to like snowball on him a little bit.
45:16And I think that Marvin Harrison had kind of a similar deal.
45:19The Bears and Jags are very similar. You have two offensive – the best two offensive candidates from last year.
45:24Number one picks that are crazy talented and were hyped like Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence that did not play well early in
45:30their careers that played really well last year with Jacoby Myers, Parker, Thomas, and then you have like Burden, Colson Loveland.
45:36Like there are pretty similar profiles overall like a split backfield.
45:39So, yeah. Okay. Another – are there any other post-hype guys you wanted to hit?
45:43No, I think those are the right ones. We can get into some deeper sleepers now.
45:47These guys are not post-hype. These are truly like closer to last pick in the draft.
45:51That could be like a secret gem of the season type stuff.
45:54Very possible that these guys are going to be on the waiver wire all year and will be irrelevant.
45:59But we think that they have a shot to be like a surprise starting player on your roster.
46:04Who wants to start? I can go first. This is a guy that we haven't really talked about and I wanted to
46:10make sure we have this on the record because I think he could have a better season than anyone is expecting.
46:16In fact, he had a way better season last year than I think anyone realizes.
46:20In fact, like when I'm looking at his stats, I'm like, I don't – this is crazy that this happened.
46:25I didn't realize this. He was third in receiving yards among tight ends last year.
46:29Who? Juwan Johnson. Yeah, you didn't say his name.
46:31I was like building the suspense. Oh, okay. I was doing that intentionally.
46:35The two guys that had more receiving yards than Juwan Johnson last year are Trey McBride and Kyle Pitts.
46:40There's no way that's true. That is – wow, Kyle Pitts being number two also.
46:44But Juwan Johnson, third most yards from tight ends.
46:46Yeah, among tight ends. And so he had – Wow.
46:49And it's funny because right now he's in ADP, he's the tight end 17, 158th overall.
46:53So he's last round pick. One of the more under-discussed forgotten tight ends who has been starting for like three straight years.
46:59One of the quietest 100 target seasons in history.
47:01He had 102 targets last year, 77 catches, 889 yards.
47:04And really the thing that held him down and kept him from being really more fantasy relevant is he only had three touchdowns.
47:10And to me it's like touchdowns are so variant.
47:13There's so much variance with touchdowns. But Taysom Hill, the Saints also kind of had like a weird rotation at tight end
47:18even though Taysom Hill wasn't playing technically tight end.
47:21He was part of that rotation. He scored a bunch of touchdowns.
47:24He's finally gone. He was in there throwing passes and running the ball like a bunch of times.
47:29It was – last year it was Johnson, Foster, Moreau, Taysom Hill, Jack Stoll all got like major playing time.
47:34So it was kind of a weird rotation. This year we could just see more of Juwan Johnson.
47:39They did sign Fant in the offseason. And they drafted a kid.
47:42Yeah. Oscar Delp. But he's a blocking tight end.
47:44I think Oscar Delp at Georgia – I think he's going to be way more of like he's a competent blocker and
47:50he's going to just allow them to play in two and three tight end sets.
47:54I just don't know if they'll see the field that much to be honest.
47:58I think rookie tight ends never matter as much as people think.
48:01There's a reason we're amazed by Tyler Warren and Sam Laporta and Kyle Pitts is because it doesn't happen.
48:06But I think that this is a great pick, DK, because Juwan Johnson is the type of tight end like Kyle Pitts,
48:12like Harold Fannin, where he is a receiver. He's a receiving tight end that is blocked somewhat competently enough.
48:17But with Jordan Tyson, the rookie receiver they drafted six this year with the hamstring injury, it's probably two months, but like who knows.
48:24I mean in the past all these injuries that he's had to come back from, it's a really slow process with the hamstring injury.
48:30And he said three – Jordan Tyson was drafted eighth.
48:33Jordan Tyson was drafted eighth. Fuck. You know, as soon as I said it, I was like, that sounds wrong.
48:38That sounds right. Fuck. Well, you know what? Because six and eight are kind of round in my head.
48:43Yeah. They're like round. Yeah, like six is just kind of missing that little piece.
48:47Yeah, yeah. We get it. Fuck. Anyway, Juwan Johnson, I think – in all seriousness, I think this is an actual sleeper pick.
48:53Like sometimes you're like sleeper and people – What is that?
48:56This is perfect because I think this is the exact thing people want with sleepers where no one's going to take Juwan Johnson.
49:02He's probably going to go after defenses and kickers.
49:05But this is as good a pick to end up as a top eight tight end through the first six weeks of
49:10the season as anybody because he's probably going to be the number two receiver on the Saints.
49:15It's probably going to be Chris Olave as like the number one.
49:18And then Juwan Johnson is probably going to beat out Devon Vele as like the leader on the Saints and catches targets, yards, touchdowns, everything.
49:25He's a great red zone target. And I totally agree, Dick.
49:28I think this is a perfect player and like what a lot of people think of Rondae Gadsden is for the Chargers.
49:34Juwan Johnson is like if you're waiting on tight end, this is the perfect target.
49:38He's going like 50 spots after Travis Kelsey, 60 spots after Travis Kelsey.
49:41I'm like, you have the same year as Travis Kelsey.
49:44Yeah, easily. It's just one of those guys that for whatever reason, no one buys into him.
49:48He's just been completely overlooked. And I think a lot of people want to replace him.
49:53You know what I mean? In terms of whoever's going to be the next big pick.
49:57He might be the least famous starting tight end in the league.
50:00Yeah. Yeah. So I think that's a great thing.
50:02If he plays marginally more snaps this year because of that four-man rotation that they had last year, I think he could
50:08end up being a top seven, top eight tight end and you can get him in your last round.
50:13Craig, who's a sleeper that you have that's a deeper sleeper?
50:16So this guy's very deep. This guy's going 185th, which basically means he's not being drafted.
50:20Jalen McMillan, the wide receiver on the Bucs, is a guy coming into his third year.
50:25He was on Washington with Roman Dunzey. Jalen Polk.
50:27Yeah. He was like the big three-headed monster in Washington.
50:30They were all great. Polk retired. I can't believe retired this year.
50:33Polk retired. McMillan, as a rookie on Tampa, was really good and closed the season amazingly.
50:37He was like one of the waiver wire gems.
50:40Probably like got you through the playoffs if you added him.
50:43He had five straight games with a touchdown to end his rookie season.
50:46He had eight touchdowns as a rookie. He had seven touchdowns in his last five games.
50:50He was amazing. And I thought he just looked really good.
50:53And then next camp, he had a horrible neck injury, fractured three vertebrae, and people were wondering if he'd ever play football again.
50:59Kind of remarkably came back last year and played four games to close the season.
51:03One of those games, he had over 100 yards.
51:06And so they took Ted Hurst, I think it was in the third round, a wide receiver.
51:10Mike Evans is gone. And I kind of just look at somebody who I've seen do it in the NFL, who I
51:16think passes the eye test, and is surrounded by Chris Godwin, who's over 30 years old and has had two bad injuries.
51:22You have Emeka Bukamata turf toe, and Mike Evans is gone, and the other guy's a rookie.
51:26I'm like, I don't know. Is there a world in which Jalen McMillan is like the number two receiver on this team in October?
51:33I think that's possible. There's a world in which he's the number one receiver in terms of targets.
51:38Yeah, I can absolutely see this. I think it's a great one.
51:41I agree. He's a good player. I think the injury is really the only concern here in terms of, you know, how
51:47often he's going to be out there. Right now he's dealing with like a knee thing, but he's not.
51:52He's like practicing pretty much. Yeah. I really like this.
51:54And the proven connection with Baker. Yeah. So, yeah, I'm into this.
51:58It's like the last player on your bench kind of stash, right?
52:01Okay. And even if it's not that, even if it's like a guy who quietly has like a pretty good snap rate
52:07week one, and you want to add him up waivers, like he's the type of guy to bet on, even if his
52:13numbers aren't great, even if he has three catches for 25 yards, but if he plays a ton or something like that, somebody to keep your eye on.
52:20Last player on your bench rankings. Would you rather have like Jalen McMillan for the Buccaneers, Pat Bryant for the Broncos, who
52:26I think is, you know, I mean, Sean Payton compared to Michael Thomas and the Saints are rebuilt, or the Broncos are redoing the 2016 Saints offense.
52:33Would you rather have Pat Bryant who might not play early?
52:36You could have Ryan Flournoy, he's the third receiver in the Cowboys.
52:39I think Debo Samuel's going too high to be in that contention, but like, would you rather have McMillan than like random guys like that?
52:46Random guys that I have selected to talk about today.
52:48Just pick them totally at random. It's a good question.
52:51I'm a little bit more dubious about Pat Bryant.
52:53I don't know. I just feel like there's more up for grabs in Tampa.
52:57Like I feel like Jalen McMillan could capture a little bit more of the work.
53:01Pat Bryant with Sutton and with Waddle and with Harvey and like the million receivers that they have there, even if he likes Pat Bryant, I don't know.
53:09I'm a little more scared about that. Ryan Flournoy in Dallas is like the surefire number three.
53:13He's like a six-round pick. No, he was actually, he went eighth.
53:16Wrong. He was the sixth-round pick. He was the eighth overall pick.
53:20He went to Southeast Missouri State. Go Red Hawks.
53:22Totally. But he's just like one of the more under the radar, just everything out of camp is people fucking love this guy.
53:28He had 200-yard games last year. Whenever Pickens or Lamb went down, he just like stepped up and was a legitimate starting receiver.
53:34And you could make the case that if any team could support three wide receivers in fantasy, it's either the Bengals or the Cowboys.
53:41You saw it with the Bengals with Tyler Boyd, who was like legitimately relevant for a couple of years.
53:46Small chance that could be Flournoy. And also if one of those two guys gets hurt, he's like immediately a starting receiver.
53:52Yeah. My only question is when you actually do your leagues is do you have a receiver as that last pick?
53:57Because I feel like for me, I just end up picking a running back in case someone gets hurt or there's some issue.
54:03Yeah, you probably go more handcuffed. Although Flournoy is the very rare receiver handcuff.
54:07Yeah. That's true. Deacon, do you have any other deep sleepers you want to throw out there?
54:11I want to throw out Debo. Debo Samuel. Yeah?
54:14Yeah. Back on the Niners. You know, it's funny.
54:16We always joke about players that when you see them in New Jersey, you'll be like, oh, Mike Evans on the Niners.
54:22And like Debo on the Niners at this point might be weirder to me than Mike Evans on the Niners.
54:27I think Debo is one of those guys. You get one or two of these every year where like random fake pictures
54:33on the internet give you like of him looking fat.
54:36Like I think it was from a few years ago.
54:39It was circulating where he had like a big belly, but he's looking pretty trim in shape.
54:43He quietly had almost 100 targets last year. Kind of like erased that from my memory.
54:47He's like one of like three players that people care about what his belly looks like.
54:52Yeah. It's funny. Dude, that's because he can't. Yeah.
54:54Well, he's built on breaking tackles and running after the catch.
54:57And I think when he got a little bit bigger and people were worried about his overall elusiveness, that is a real concern.
55:03But have there ever been conversations like seriously where the Niners are like Debo Samuel showed up out of shape or no?
55:09Like are those actual concerns or do we just perceive that he has a belly and he's actually just in shape?
55:15Oh man, injuries have really been more of an issue for him.
55:18But regardless, get that out of the way. He's trim.
55:20You think he looks trim? He looks trim. But if you look at the way that he's been utilized, especially last year,
55:26like recent seasons, he's not a regular wide receiver.
55:29He's basically a wingback. That's what the 49ers made him an all pro when he was basically doing this position.
55:34Kyle Shanahan thought up ways to use him where he became an all pro.
55:38And I think with Christian McCaffrey there, he's going to get less carries in the backfield as he did that one great year that he had.
55:45But he's still a get the ball out quickly.
55:47Let him do his thing. Last year, among players with 50 targets, there was three players that had lower air yards per target.
55:53So basically used in the exact same way as him.
55:56The three players were Khalil Shakir, Rasheed Rice, and Malik Washington.
55:59So like get the ball in his hands. Let him do his thing.
56:02It's cheap. It's a PPR scam. I get it.
56:05But this is fantasy. I think he's the type of guy who could be sort of with stripling sort of the red herring.
56:11He's doing so great in training camp. He's doing so great in preseason.
56:14And then when the real games start, the team just kind of decides to let the veteran have a little bit more
56:20touches and do more stuff in the offense. They're not really like they don't need to go out there and have Debo
56:26Samuel catch seven passes in a preseason game. Right.
56:28Like they know what he can do. And so I'm just looking at him late rounds.
56:33You know, he's going really, really. He's a wide receiver 51 in ADP with your last pick of the draft.
56:38A guy who's Shanahan knows pretty knows like the offense is perfect for him in terms of any offense in the NFL.
56:44You can pick. I'm picking this offense in terms of getting getting him the football.
56:48And he's still last year. He still averaged over six yards in yak per reception.
56:52So it's not like he's totally washed. I think it's like he's really just been battling injuries over the years.
56:57I think to your point, I do think he's washed, but he's priced as if he's washed.
57:02So I don't think it matters if he's washed because what you're saying is if he's not.
57:06Sure, that's priced in. Like that's the thing is any negative thing I could say about Debo's priced in because I agree.
57:12Like I think George Kittle is a great pick this year.
57:15I think George Kittle will play in week two and actually have like a way better Achilles injury than you generally see.
57:21I think Dijon Stribling is going to break the Kyle Shanahan mold and be like a really impactful rookie.
57:26A lot of guys redshirt for Shanahan as a rookie receiver.
57:29I believe in Stribling hype and I kind of weirdly stupidly think Mike Evans state might still healthy.
57:34Now, if all those three things sound stupid, then you're absolutely right because there's a world where Kittle, oh yeah, not great off the Achilles.
57:40Mike Evans pulls his hamstring at some point and then Dijon Stribling, oh yeah, he's a rookie.
57:45He's not going to have a huge impact for Kyle Shanahan this year.
57:48Then you're right, DK. Then maybe Debo ends up being an amazing pick.
57:52It's like, I mean, he's, you know, going around like, you know, backup tight ends.
57:56Like you don't need a ton to go wrong or the substation to eat one of the players.
58:00For this to pay off. So it is everything you're saying.
58:03I think it does make a lot of sense.
58:06Okay. We're going to bring Sal on in a minute, but first just want to talk about the Cleveland Browns debacle.
58:11Other loser from preseason week two, just Cleveland in general.
58:14I mean, just the run out of the Cleveland Browns this weekend.
58:17So Shadur Sanders goes out and he's the captain for the week, misses the coin toss during the game.
58:22They have a defensive end, Terry's Achilles during the game and he's out for the season.
58:26Deshaun Watson plays so badly. He gets booed during the preseason game.
58:30And then afterward, Deshaun Watson has the, like one of the most damaging press conferences to a fan base before a season begins that I can like remember.
58:37And we have the audio because maybe you've heard it, but if not, it's really worth hearing that Deshaun exchanged at length.
58:43So we have the audio. I believe we can play that.
58:46I have no reaction. I think the biggest thing is, I think you guys know too.
58:50And I think the whole world knows it has nothing to do about the performance.
58:54It's a little bit personal than that. So I think that's a disrespectful thing.
58:58So yeah, I mean, I'm going to keep whatever I feel with me and my family internally on how I feel about that.
59:04And yeah, just move on. But don't you think, Deshaun, that winning and playing better would eliminate some of that booing?
59:10Last time I played on this field, I tore my Achilles.
59:13And that same fan base, they cheered when I got hurt.
59:15So does that have to do with anything about performance?
59:18When a person gets hurt, especially for your own city, and they cheer.
59:22Does that make you regret coming here? No, I don't regret anything in my life.
59:26You know, I've been in the world putting me through situations for a reason.
59:29So I don't regret anything at all. But, you know, I had different thoughts on how it was going to be.
59:35But, you know, it is what it is. You know, sometimes, you know, the tables turn.
59:39And I'm patient enough because I'm a child of God to, you know, wait for that time to change.
59:44So I'm not tripping on it. I'm not tripping on it.
59:47The funny thing about that is, like, obviously there's a million reasons to not like him off the field.
59:52But if there's one thing I know about, like, American fans is they can overlook horrible shit if you play well.
59:58Right, right. Like, so him kind of specifying that it's not about performance.
60:01Well, it shouldn't be about performance. But what we know about, like, you know, culture is that oftentimes people overlook things when somebody's playing well.
60:08It's like, buddy, you are also playing like absolute shit.
60:11In the second half of a preseason game. Yes.
60:13It's like, yeah, maybe they booed you when you tore your Achilles because you're not a good person.
60:18But they also booed you because you were awful.
60:20Yeah. Poor Canelo's dos. I think my takeaway from this is he's one of the least self-aware people in the world.
60:26I'm starting to wonder about this guy. I don't know.
60:28He doesn't regret anything in his life? Okay. That wasn't the question.
60:32Not a single letter? Yeah. No regrets. Just, well, the other, there was so many about it.
60:36So then Mary Kay Cabot, who covers the Browns, then asked him like, hey, Deshaun.
60:40Oh, sorry. Oh, forget that. Todd Monk and then the head coach then named Deshaun Watson the starter today.
60:45We're recording this Monday morning Pacific time. And like then, so Deshaun Watson, after all this, then gets named the starter after
60:51basically being angry at the fans for being upset about, you know, the more than two dozen lawsuits against him.
60:56In addition to just being literally the first six games he was the Browns starter a couple years ago.
61:01He's the worst quarterback in the history of the Browns.
61:04Which, just say that one more time. Worst quarterback ever in Browns history.
61:08Like the combination of all that. And he also had the biggest contract ever given in NFL history.
61:12The only five-year guaranteed. All fully, yeah, fully guaranteed.
61:15It's like, it's bingo of why they would boo.
61:17It is. It's like they gave up their entire, all their picks and all their money for the worst quarterback ever who
61:23is also the most reviled person in the league.
61:25Yes. And so he actually has just given another statement after being named a starter where he apologized for his comments.
61:31It's human nature. I'm emotional. Putting a lot of time in the last two years.
61:35He's basically like, I've put my time, I've like dedicated time and money and resources and effort to like be a part of the community.
61:42And so I was hurt. You can tell, well, there's so much to go into this.
61:46Obviously he feels he's done nothing wrong about any of this.
61:49Obviously he's been stewing about being booed when he got hurt a couple years ago for the whole time.
61:54The other part about this that's so funny to me is they were like, so do you feel like the Browns, if
62:00you win the job, a lot of the early games are road games.
62:03Do you think that could help you? He's like, yeah, man, I guess I'm going to play 17 road games this year.
62:09And he's like, I'm going to play 17 road games.
62:12And the Browns' first two games are road. And I think that's what the Browns have basically decided naming him the starter
62:18is like, he's going to work remote. Like Shador, Shador's going to do the home games.
62:22He's going to zoom in for the home game.
62:24He's just like, hey guys. God, that's hilarious. Like the fact that they're factoring in.
62:28You guys get them on the weekends. It's like they're divorced.
62:31They're factoring in the fact they're playing on the road the first two games and naming him the starter is hilarious.
62:37You know, the timing of that was odd, naming him right after that.
62:40Like what is Monken doing? The whole thing's crazy.
62:43I think that was the plan the whole time.
62:45And then Deshaun probably messed it up by doing all this.
62:48And I thought it was interesting that several beat writers for the team after the game were like, you have to kind of cut him now.
62:55I was like, I mean, after all this, like that was what makes you cut him.
62:59I feel like that's probably not going to happen.
63:01I was going to say, you've come this far.
63:04Him being mad at the fans is like probably not.
63:06Never mind the fact that because some cap stuff, again, he's got the only guaranteed contract in NFL history that was like an NBA contract, five-year deal.
63:14And the consequence of rolling it back is the cost of cutting Deshaun Watson would be, I believe, $120 million.
63:19So more than Tua is getting paid. More than Kyler is getting paid.
63:22More than the Dolphins are spending on their entire active roster, basically.
63:26Yeah. Like it's not – literally there's not enough cap space in the league combined, basically, at this point to cut Deshaun Watson outright.
63:32It's a pretty brutal look for Shadour, honestly. Yeah.
63:34You know. Do you want to talk about that?
63:37Like how did – did you guys watch the game?
63:39Was Shadour not going out to the coin toss?
63:42No, Shadour not – like the fact that – Not winning this competition.
63:45Deshaun having like a terrible preseason, having the worst press conference of all time and immediately gets named the starter.
63:51Is there – it is – and it goes back to Jerry Judy on Instagram Live and be like, who do you want to play?
63:57And he goes like four. And he was like, oh, someone asked how old my daughter was.
64:02That's why I said four. I'm like, wow, that's a bad lie.
64:05But yeah, no. Also, Deshaun Watson has the yips.
64:07He can't play. I don't – how much of it's football?
64:10How much of it's like they want to fail in the beginning and then they can bench Deshaun?
64:15I don't understand. Like from a management standpoint, like if you're the coach or the GM or whatever, it's easier to go
64:21from Watson, have him fail and then go to Shadour than from first Shadour to go in there, not play well, and then go back to Watson.
64:28I think it is. It's like harder to sell that to people, I guess.
64:32But – It's true. I mean like Shadour didn't do anything in particular to I think win this competition outright either.
64:38You know what I mean? Like in this game, this last game, he was late on a lot of throws.
64:43To me, it's just like you watch him play.
64:45He's got these big pockets and he just sits there and doesn't do anything with it.
64:49And so, yeah, I mean there's people that are going to think this is like – like they're setting Shadour up to fail or whatever.
64:56Or this is like a conspiracy against Shadour. Like that's not – No, I think it's the other way where I think
65:02it's – Unfortunately, this is just a tale of two bad quarterbacks.
65:05They're just – they're bad. They're both bad. No, I think it's what you said the first time where I think you
65:11were right when you're like – at some point it is a management question.
65:15Shadour on the bench is like people have something to root for.
65:18I want to bench Deshaun. If the season starts 0-5 and Shadour sucks, then you're like, all right, guys.
65:23At least we have – Deshaun Watson is going to come in now.
65:26Like you're setting up Shadour to be the hero and kind of swing in later.
65:30I do think that's actually the answer because you can't go through a whole season where Shadour sucks already.
65:36Like if Shadour is going to suck, at least do it when people are like, oh, at least thank God the Deshaun thing is over.
65:42I do think that's what it is. And for fantasy purposes, I know we keep saying it, but now I really don't want any Browns.
65:49I don't want Harold Fannin. I don't want any of these people.
65:52This is the worst vibes entering a season I can – like in a minute.
65:56Even by Cleveland standards, this is bad. It sucks because if you watch these young players and their offense, the skill players are really exciting.
66:03Like they have some of the most exciting young skill players.
66:06They've drafted well. Yeah, they have – so obviously Casey Concepcioni's looked good.
66:09Denzel Boston getting rave reviews. Quinchon Judkins, everything we've seen from him has been great.
66:13He's coming back from a big injury, but he's looked really good.
66:16Harold Fannin, one of the better rookie tight end seasons in Emory.
66:19I would even add in Dylan Sampson. Dylan Sampson looks good.
66:22They're a fantasy team because the quarterbacks are garbage and the offensive line, they have like Spencer Fano as a good rookie.
66:28And like the offensive line is a mess as well.
66:31It is just like the misfit toys from other bad offensive lines.
66:34So I don't want any Browns and then I think you can acquire them later.
66:38And maybe if Shadour comes in the middle of the season, they'll be good.
66:42I don't want them. Okay. Now we get to be joined by Cousin Sal and he's going to berate us over the

67:19Sal, we're going to be doing our Ringer Fantasy Football League live draft on Netflix, 11 a.m.
67:24Pacific Friday. And you... Yeah. You have volunteered to be the enforcer of our punishments because the challenge we ran into is
67:30that we can't convince or force any of our bosses to do these punishments.
67:33And you think that we were bitches about it last year and cowarded it out with the punishments.
67:38I love the premise of picking your own punishments to avoid other punishments, right?
67:42You utilize the punishments as a draft. By the way, I want to make this quick because I know Craig has me on a 15-minute...
67:49I heard him off camera saying, we don't want Sal.
67:51He's something about... Sometimes these conversations can get weird.
67:54Like, so... Sorry, a fucking producer of 60 minutes here.
67:56I will make it quick. I will get out of your hair, Craig.
68:00I know you got... Tight 15. Oh, we ramble so much and this shows me a two-hour show.
68:05All I was saying is I wanted to keep this a reasonable amount.
68:08I gotcha. Hot mic situation. I already set us back here.
68:11Yeah, I got it. All right. No, but I love this wrinkle to it.
68:15And by the way, I'm on 15 leagues. I've won over 30 years.
68:18I've won almost all of them. This is the only reason I love this league is the punishment value, but they have to be...
68:25So essentially, you could pick your punishment instead of a player and you have to at some point, right?
68:30You guys want to explain that? There's an extra round in the draft.
68:33So you would... That's right. There's 17 rounds in the draft.
68:36You would draft 16 players and then the 17th round or whenever you want, at some point, you can pick from a
68:42pool of, let's say, 12 punishments that are in a bowl and you're like, you know what?
68:46The last thing I want to do is eat two cold cans of soup.
68:50Yeah. So I'm just going to draft a different punishment in the 12th round.
68:54So just in case I get last, I don't have to do the soup thing.
68:58But what happened was we picked them mild enough.
69:00And again, Craig, you came in last and you got no coffee for a week and we were idiots because like you can't really film not drinking coffee.
69:08It was dumb. I hate that. And we kept thinking about how funny it would be if Bill or Mallory couldn't drink coffee and then Craig got it.
69:15And the problem was it ended... Everyone took it last like defenses and kickers.
69:19And your point was we need to make them so bad that you would consider making it like a third round pick.
69:25Right. Yeah. Jamar chase or eat two cans of cold soup.
69:28Yes, exactly. But it has to be worse. So now, but since you're volunteering to basically make this like a, you know,
69:33a punisher situation where you're going to publicly shame them.
69:36And since Craig has us on a shot clock, because, you know, I like the 60 Minutes producer.
69:41I'm going to read you now some of the punishments that we're thinking.
69:44You like the current 60 Minutes producer? That's a bold take.
69:47Well, you know, well, the old one's up for hire now.
69:50So I think, you know, okay. Ones that I think we want to keep and I want to run these by Sal
69:56so that, you know, we'll make sure that these are doable.
69:59We want to do eat two cold cans of soup.
70:02We're going to run it back and we live stream it.
70:05But this time the winner chooses the soup. Okay.
70:07That's fine. That's good. Chicken corn chowder. Can I cut in?
70:10I want to ask Sal a question. Okay. Do you think every punishment should be the same level of intensity?
70:15Or do you think it should vary and there should be a couple at the top that are horrible that you want
70:21to avoid and it kind of trickles down to more reasonable?
70:24I think they should all be, oh, I do not want to do that.
70:28That's your initial reaction. And then there should be three or four that there's no way I'm doing that.
70:33And so that you're, you're forced to avoid those four and make a pick earlier than you would have.
70:38I think that stacks it well. Okay. So I would say the soup one is mid range unpleasant, but right.
70:43I'm not going to die doing it and I wouldn't be completely embarrassed, but God, I like it.
70:48Well, a lesser one. Last year we had, we choose your phone background and your case for a week.
70:53I think that needs to be 11 weeks. And then the one person each week from the league gets to pick it every week.
70:59Everyone gets their own week for a week. I, I, I wouldn't suggest we even punt that one.
71:04Okay. Phone background is pretty, pretty weak. Okay. So we'll go, I think we keep eyebrow slits like vanilla ice.
71:10That's good. That one's great. And if you have like caterpillars like me, then it's a disaster.
71:14I want Heifetz to do that one. Right. The one that I think we wouldn't have done last year that I think
71:20we need to bring back is Sal, we discussed this on the gambling show.
71:24Joey Chestnut, you have to beat Joey Chestnut's hot dog record over the course of a week.
71:28You have a full week to eat more hot dogs than Joey Chestnut did this year.
71:32I might draft that in the third round. I might take that first overall.
71:36Or like take a different one. 77 hot dogs.
71:39Yes. So it's 11 per day. Yes. Do it.
71:41And by the way, you don't want to do that.
71:44No way you're going to do that. Then you, you pick something else.
71:47Like that's the perfect top tier echelon there. I would go with that.
71:51This does all hinge on Sal being able to enforce this because, because if Bill Simmons gets last place, he's not eating 77 hot dogs in a week.
71:58He's just not. So how are we, what are we going to do?
72:01Well then, because he has to then pick something else.
72:04That's the beauty of this, right? Like he doesn't have to get stuck with that, right?
72:08If he picks a lesser, what he would consider punishment, I think.
72:12I think that's the, that's your way out of this.
72:14Yeah. All right. And Sal, and you're going to, you're going to like lead the charge in the public.
72:19You're basically, you're going to be Clemenza. You're going to basically like, you're going to be the enforcer here if someone doesn't want to actually do it.
72:26Well, first of all, I want to get, what was the, you ran these by Simmons ahead of time last year and
72:32then you presented them to everybody else on the draft.
72:35Yeah. I will help you present these and push these through if they're, if they're up to snuff.
72:40We'll help her. In that case, I want to bring back the 24 hours in a waffle house because we killed that
72:46because Danny Kelly was like, I have a child.
72:48I won't do it. And now the answer is then fucking pick something else earlier.
72:52Right. Is it my fault we didn't do that?
72:54That's true, Danny. We thought no, no one would do that.
72:57No one with kids. You and Sean Fentasy were like, nope.
73:00And we were like, all right. All right. Well, I'm fine.
73:03How about this? Give up your kids. Give up your kids for three months.
73:07And then you could, then you don't have that excuse.
73:10Yeah. Is there one, the waffle house thing. I like it.
73:13It's, it's kind of popular now. I understand it's, it has to be a 24 hour joint.
73:17If we're going to pick a place similar to the waffle house.
73:20Roscoe. Some people don't have waffle houses in their area.
73:23But what else is open 24 hours? 7-11. 7-11?
73:25No, that would be 7-11. Shakey's? In LA, like Mel's Diners.
73:28Mel's Diner open 24 hours? Yeah. Yeah. I think there are like diners.
73:32Yeah. Okay. I do like the idea. I think like three of them or four of them should be eating challenges.
73:37I like next year's draft. You have, this is from Eddie.
73:40Next year's draft, you have to dress as the hungry caterpillar and eat everything he ate in the book at the draft next year.
73:47What? I like that one. It's pretty good. Big caterpillar costume.
73:50What did he eat? I forget. It's not, it's a bunch of weird fruit and sauces.
73:54It's weird. Okay. We can, we can mix with it.
73:56Um, I like this one. I like bean weekend.
73:59You have to eat only beans for the whole weekend.
74:02Okay. I mean, Craig just sat up. Um, it's kind of typical for me, but yeah, I would do that.
74:07Uh, this one's not as bad, but basically the idea is we should just have a humiliating YouTube shorter or just like
74:13an Instagram reel they have to make, but we pin it at the top of every social media channel at the ringer
74:19about how bad they are and they have to like humiliate something like that.
74:22Yeah. Uh, the other ones I like, Sal, you said, listen to the Pat McAfee.
74:26The album uninterrupted for 12 hour loop during an NFL Sunday.
74:29Yeah. During a Sunday, maybe even just the early games and, um, yeah.
74:33You know, and, uh, celebration for Colts, his Colts.
74:35Yeah. Yeah. Black site. Like torture. That's it. Getting waterboarded by Pat McAfee's music.
74:39Jesus. Uh, last year we were going to wear a Jersey of winners choosing.
74:43I think it should be for four straight shows.
74:45The Jersey is a good one. Yeah. I like that a lot.
74:48Yeah. That's another, it could be a McAfee thing.
74:50Yes. These should all be McAfee related. That's actually kind of good.
74:54It should be the Pat McAfee punishment hour. All McAfee related.
74:57If Simmons has to wear a Pat McAfee or Aaron Hernandez Jersey, like, which is he choosing at that point?
75:02Uh, for four podcasts. I think we have to keep piercing.
75:05Oh. And you have to get a piercing. Yeah.
75:07You have to get a piercing. Oh, of any kind.
75:10That's pretty good. Okay. That's full. You're committing. And then.
75:13And I would say you have to, you have to show the piercing on a, on a podcast.
75:17Sure. Right. Last. Yeah. I think your belly button.
75:20Yeah. These have to be visual. Absolutely. And then the other, we had last year, must attend a concert chosen by the
75:26winners, which could be like the Wiggles, like two hours away or something.
75:29Or Pat McAfee. Or Pat McAfee doing a concert.
75:31Is he going on tour? Yeah. Probably. He's probably going to headline stage coach next year.
75:36I would bet. I also reminded, I was reminded last year that one of them was Bill just had eaten olive anchovy
75:42pizza, which is actually served at restaurants. And that was a punishment last year.
75:45Olive anchovy? Yeah. Yeah. It was olives and anchovies.
75:48And I'm like, that's fine. He won't do it because it has carbs.
75:51But other, like normal people, I think would consider that.
75:54That one's too bland. Just middle of the road.
75:56So we will finalize this list. And Sal, we'll make sure it's.
75:59Well, let me, I have some, I have some recommendations here.
76:02Yes. Okay. So I think like, I think I said it last week, Danny, sneak a paintball gun into the Super Bowl,
76:08you know, as you're going through security or something maybe more severe, like a knife or a machete or something.
76:14But yeah, something that could land you in jail, I think is always good.
76:17Sure. I saw something similar to this. Wear the same shirt throughout the NFL playoffs.
76:21And it's only like 35 days. But anytime a game is on or any day a game is being played, you have
76:27to wear that same shirt without washing it, of course.
76:30Ooh. So I think that's good. Disgusting. How about this?
76:32Do a headstand in back of a Waymo from your house to the local Starbucks.
76:36Okay. That's actually really good. That's actually really good.
76:39I have to come to LA for that. Yeah.
76:41That's really good. Can you see Van doing that?
76:44I mean, to Tate Frazier, this would be great.
76:46And you probably couldn't wear a seatbelt doing that.
76:48So Bill will be fine with it. Oh, yeah.
76:51Exactly. Oh, that's right. Simmons. Sign me up. Simmons is going to draft that one.
76:55Yeah. Bill's punishment is just sit normally in the car with a seatbelt on.
76:59You see him breaks out in hives. Yeah. Oh, okay.
77:01This is good. Sit next to Enos Kanter at a women's studies class at UCLA.
77:05Wait, you didn't hear the back part of that.
77:08In a women's studies? Where was this? Yeah. That might be hard to arrange.
77:11Or attend the bachelor party thrown by Jed York.
77:14I don't know. A lot of these are going to take.
77:17Is that the punishment or is that the reward for the winner?
77:20No kidding. We got to figure it out. Yeah.
77:22So I think you're on the right track. I'd add a couple.
77:25I'd take a couple away. Do you think we need buy-in from all 12 people?
77:29Or do we just kind of bully our way?
77:32Push these through. Again, that's why you draft one early.
77:34Sal's point was the problem last year is we sought too much agreement and feedback from everyone.
77:39And when people were like, hell no. Yes. We listened to them.
77:42And Sal's point was it should only be ones that people were like, hell no.
77:46It should be the entire thing. Right. Yeah. Yeah.
77:49Yeah. Yeah. It's got to make you squirm. All of them.
77:51For sure. This thing's a mess because there's no, there's no, I know you talked about it, but there's no prize for the winner.
77:58There's the, the punishments for the loser is really the only anything.
78:01He's right. Right. So the last thing I wanted to talk about, Sal, is you hate that, how we do the last,
78:07decide last place, which we have a toilet bowl that's happening concurrently with the playoffs.
78:11And you thought it should just be regular season standings.
78:14And I like the toilet bowl better because it keeps people engaged and doesn't encourage everyone to check out for the final month of the season.
78:20Because I was like eighth place, but I made the toilet bowl and then I ended up losing.
78:25So I got last at the, which even though I got last, I do agree.
78:29It's fun to keep the season going because otherwise the people who don't make the playoffs are done week 13.
78:35Okay. But wouldn't you have as a, if the punishment went to the person who, um, who had the worst record or
78:40the least amount of points, wouldn't that give them incentive to step it up the last few weeks of the regular season is when you really need it.
78:48Who cares about this playoff part that most of the teams aren't involved in.
78:52And so they're, they're actually interested when you need them to be interested a and B what about the guy who goes
78:57eight and seven and it's like third most points and gets stuck in this cockamamie losers bracket and has to look at that.
79:04That's not fair. Right. You know, it's not at all.
79:06I agree. Yeah. Right. You weren't the worst team was, wasn't it fantasy?
79:10Who was the worst team? Like that's, that's the group chat because he was so mad about the format and then found
79:16out that he wasn't going to come in last.
79:18Yeah. I was like eight. Yeah. Um, also what we could do is, is we could force the loser to have to
79:24complete their punishment during the fantasy playoffs. Ooh. Oh yeah.
79:27Kind of like coinciding with fantasy playoffs. They have to do the punishment.
79:30It's a good, yeah. It's a good compromise. Okay.
79:32That is a good compromise. I like that. It won't work for some of these where the winner chooses the punishment, but
79:38yes, I do in general like that. That also brings into play like New Year's Eve, you know?
79:43Christmas. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's Christmas morning. You have to eat beans only on Christmas day.
79:47Only bean. Right. Yeah. And only bean Christmas. Sounds good.
79:50Kiss your father on the mouth when the ball drops.
79:53Yeah. I like that. Yeah. Like Tom Brady. Oh my God.
79:56Dude, Sal, thank you so much. Yeah. I got it.
79:58Craig, is that okay? Honestly, what else? This is pretty short.
80:01I feel like we can keep going here, but what else?
80:04I would never do that to you. We don't have any more punishments?
80:07I feel like we added more. I had like six.
80:10I could send you more and I'll send these to you all day, but should we get together Wednesday or through email or something and finalize it?
80:17Whatever list you want. We don't want to dox your email, but your email is hilarious.
80:22We're not going to dox it, but your email is just like, it's unbelievable.
80:25How so? We were just telling the guys who had to send you the Zoom link what your email was and the
80:31verizon.net really shook everybody to their core. Oh, really?
80:34You know how it is with emails. Like my wife has hot mail.
80:37You don't want to, if you change it, it's screwed everywhere.
80:40Everything you do. Also Verizon is- Way too long for me.
80:43Verizon is sponsoring this live draft, so it's perfect.
80:45That's true. Oh yeah, what's wrong with you, Craig?
80:48Great email account and I'm sure a great email service.
80:50Yeah, yeah. There's one other part we didn't discuss was that, do you think there should just be 12 punishments to choose
80:56from or should there be a larger pool of like 20 horrible ones?
81:00Look, if they're all horrible, like you say, then do 50.
81:03I don't care. But if it is, there is a benefit, I think, to just keeping it at 12.
81:08You know what's kind of interesting is- Oh, I have to stay away from these five.
81:12I did- If there's one easy punishment, like if there's one that's like, you know, whatever, you can't eat meat for a
81:18week, is there a chance that one coward takes it in the second round?
81:21Yes. If everything else is terrible, it almost would be kind of fun to have like a- Yeah.
81:26You know, a softball in there just to see what people do with it.
81:30I think you're right. Who's the coward? Yeah. The coward pick.
81:33I, yeah, I think you're right. We should do that.
81:36That's easy. I haven't done that since I was like eight months old, probably.
81:39Not to eat meat for a week. I don't know.
81:42The real version we might have to get to is that you were able to draft forcing someone else to do the punishment.
81:48Like the thing you'd use, like Sal would use a first round pick on is I want Bill to do this.
81:54Like I want to pick if Bill comes in last, he has to make the punishment.
81:58Yeah. Right, right, right. Oh, that's good too. Can you force the worst?
82:01Like that's the thing. Maybe we should allow that.
82:04If you're willing to give up a round to give someone else a punishment, more power to you, right?
82:09Oh my God. Yeah. That's excellent. But then what if everybody's given Bill a punishment?
82:13Well, no. Once it's given, it's done. If you don't use the pick, you don't like the first round.
82:18It's the poison pill. Like instead of Jamar Chase, you're going to take.
82:21Oh, I see. Bill comes in last. He has to use 77 hot dogs in a week.
82:26That's my first round pick. No one else can give Bill a punishment anymore.
82:30Correct. And then you lose that round's pick. You don't see the player.
82:33So you're really sacrificing a lot to give Bill that punishment.
82:36Gotcha. Okay. I'll have to think that too. We have to think about it.
82:40I like the way you're thinking. Just pros and cons.
82:42We don't have nearly enough time to think about it on this show.
82:46I got to go. You're running way long, Sal.
82:48We're getting up. That's not what it meant. I knew he was even listening to us when I said it.
82:54I was like, oh, we can't go 45 minutes.
82:56I don't know. That's debatable. That's debatable. You could just hear Sal laughing.
82:59I heard him checking in. Whatever. I love you guys.
83:02This is going to be fun. I'm excited for this.
83:05Awesome. Thank you, Sal. We'll see you Friday, August 28th, 11 a.m.
83:08Pacific, at 2 p.m. Eastern, 1 p.m. Central, et cetera.
83:11And yeah, thank you. See you then. We'll see if we can get a seatbelt.
83:15We'll strap it in. We'll see if we can pull one.
83:18Yes. I'm going to take mine off now, and I'm going to bring it to the live draft.
83:22It's going to be fun. He has to wear a seatbelt during pods.
83:26It's a whole time. I'm having to strap in across his shoulder at home on a pod.
83:30Get like one of those big gaming chairs. Yeah.
83:33You can put like a five-point harness on it.
83:35Wow. That's pretty good. Like a child. Oh, great.
83:37All right. Thank you, Sal. He's primed to be pulled over, though.
83:41We really – we should – I mean – We got to bolo out.
83:44We got to get this – yeah, we got a cop to pull him over.
83:48It's going to be fun. All right. All right, fellas.
83:51Love you. Thank you, Sal. Good times. Okay. Thank you to Cousin Sal.
83:55Thank you, DK. Thank you, Craig. Thank you. There are too many people in the booth.
83:59I don't even know who's in there anymore, but I think – I want to say CT, Cam, Nikhil, Austin, Chris, Jack.
84:05Yeah, CT, the whole gang here at Sycamore. LA, everybody, baby.
84:08Thank you. Yeah, shout out to the Sycamore squad.
84:10And our rankings are at fantasyfootball.themarer.com. Everyone, thank you there.
84:13But mostly, thank you, Lord. Lord. All right. Continuing.
84:15Millennial bangers summary is almost over. DK? I'm going to go.
84:18Okay. To our good friend Ludacris. Oh. Blueberry Yum Yum.
84:21Are you guys familiar with this song? Not off the top of my head.
84:24You're going to slow it down just a little bit.
84:27I do not know Blueberry Yum Yum. You guys don't know Blueberry Yum Yum?
84:31I don't want to slow down too much. No, it's not a slow song by any means.
84:35I can't believe you guys don't know this song.
84:38You know what sucks now is now that we're in person, I can't play it in my ears right now.
84:43And we can't play it out loud because we get sued.
84:46I do have... It's funny he's bringing up Ludacris because yesterday in our hotel, I turned on the TV.
84:51You saw Ludacris? Ludacris is there. He's my... No.
84:53Ludacris was hawking vitamin, multivitamin tablets. How dare you?
84:56In a commercial. And I felt really old. It was a big paper cut.
84:59Hawking. How dare you? Look, when Emmett Smith starts selling the diapers or whatever, I'm like, okay, well, he's old.
85:05Yeah, like Joe Montana doing Skechers. Yeah, exactly. I'm like...
85:07It's so funny. Dude, I remember my mom's face when Springsteen was on the cover of AARP and she was like, fuck.
85:13What's the... God, Jamie Lee Curtis doing that yogurt, Activia.
85:16Yeah. That's the one. You know? But yeah, Ludacris with the selling the multivitamin.
85:20What is the song that you think of when I say the word ludacris?
85:23Get Back. Oh, that's a good one. Yeah. I think that is it.
85:27I also just think of him going from... What's the one where he says, backseat windows up, that's the way I locked up.
85:33You could say it. To what? Fuck. There you go.
85:36No, for me it's Act of Fool. Act of Fool for...
85:39And then, yeah. He hit some bangers. And Move Bitch Get Out The Way.
85:42Oh, Move Bitch Get Out The Way. And Act of Fool.
85:45Which I love it. I was like, what's the name of that song?
85:49That song is called Move Bitch. Yeah, it's called...
85:51It's in fact called... Oh, that's so good. Don't make them like I used to.
85:55How does your Blueberry Yum Yum song go? Blueberry yum yum and let's get higher.
85:59It's pretty good. I don't know that. Get your light as well.
86:02I don't recall. Let's get higher. Okay. Okay. I feel like that was...
86:06It was earlier. It's 2004. Yeah, that's right on the cusp.
86:09So it's like a little earlier for you guys.
86:11That's all right. But for my... The last song I did was 04.
86:15For my little mini generation, I feel like this was a huge song.
86:18I feel like we're getting deep cutty. We are, just a little bit.
86:21But you can throw out like... Let's just change it straight up to Move Bitch.
86:25Move! Yeah. That song. Or Get Back. Move Bitch.
86:28Get out the way. Jackie doesn't love rap. And so sometimes I'll try to play it for her.
86:33What the fuck is he saying? Well, I'll try to play it for her and I'm like, hey, yeah, this is a classic.
86:39And it's like, Move Bitch! And I'm like, you know, I get why maybe you don't love this song.
86:44Literally two nights ago, Saturday night, me and my wife and two friends, we just drove around LA after dinner just blasting millennial bangers from the playlist.
86:51It's so fun. That music is just so fun.
86:53Like all of us were like, man, they really don't make music like this anymore.
86:57Like it is so just like happy and great.
87:00Everything was better when we were young. It's true.
87:02That's right. Ludacris also... I love the lyrics of this Move Bitch song.
87:06Ludacris also in Fast and Furious 2 being the guy who puts nitrous in their cars.
87:10And then Fast and Furious 3, he hacks the Pentagon.
87:13Yeah, fuck yeah. It's like all time come up for Ludacris.
87:15Ludacris revealed that the 2001 hit song Move Bitch was inspired by the everyday frustration of sitting in traffic while behind the wheel of his car.
87:22So relatable. That... Do you think he was literally sitting on like La Brea trying to turn on his head?
87:28Move Bitch! And he was like, oh, wait. He's like, get out the way!
87:31Yes. I do think that's what happened. He called his manager.
87:34I got something. I got something. Wait till you hear this!
87:37I've been thinking about busting you upside your motherfucking forehead.
87:40I love that. Also, wasn't... It's funny how many things are inspired by traffic.
87:44Wasn't the good place inspired by traffic? Wasn't Mike Schur in traffic?
87:47Yes. It was a... It was like a guy turning left.
87:50He's like, I'm in hell. So someone ran the yellow and became red.
87:53It's like how two people turn left on the yellow when it goes red.
87:57And you really shouldn't squeeze anymore. Sometimes you can squeeze a third.
88:00The third person that ran the red light onto a left.
88:03And he remembers thinking, who is that person? Or it might have even been like the fourth.
88:08Yeah. It was like the third or fourth person to run a red light making a left.
88:12He's like, who's that person? What is their life like?
88:15And they're going to hell. Yeah. Yeah. Like, where do all those people go?
88:19I was like, well, that person's day-like. Yeah. Okay.
88:21Oh, no. We already did thank yous. Right. Oh, I could have ended it right there.
88:25Bye-bye. I blew it. Yeah. No, we're on a tight timeline.
88:28Tight timeline. Sal really just took up too much time.
88:31That's the problem. Yeah. Thank you. 800-327-5050 for 24-7 support in Massachusetts or call 1-877-8-HOPE-NY or text hope and why in New York.
