1:21favorite picks in Dynasty Startup Drafts And today, we're gonna talk about ours Jakob Sanderson, Ryan Heath here With our favorite picks
1:29right now at ADP Through the first six rounds of Dynasty Startup Drafts I'm excited, these guys are excited Hope you're excited
1:37to dive in Dynasty Points starts right now Hello everybody, welcome back to Dynasty Points Whether you're listening on Spotify Or watching
1:46on the Dynasty YouTube channel here For FantasyPoints.com Jacob Sanderson, Ryan Heath I'm your host, Thomas Tipple Back in the saddle this
1:54week With an exciting episode Our favorite picks And we weren't going to force conversations about players We weren't really interested in
2:02So, we agree on some of these So, we're gonna do deep dive those players A little bit more Than some of
2:10the others But, we've said before It's really hard to miss in round one Yet, over the last couple years We've had
2:18some misses In round one And, as I mentioned today Not going to the seventh round So, if your favorite player Is
2:26from the seventh round and beyond Don't worry It's just not Happening this week We are going to dive in To the
2:35later rounds So, CJ Stroud You are marked safe today Let's talk about round one Jacob, I'm gonna kick this over to
2:43you For the first First player we're gonna talk about today Someone that Last year was my favorite player To jump this
2:51high In startup drafts And here he is And yet, still Negativity coming For Caleb Williams Yeah, coming in Just at the
2:59tail end of round one Is my pick And it's Caleb Williams You'll get a theme Throughout today's program Of me picking
3:07a lot of members Of the Chicago Bears As some of my favorite picks After years of sparring With Bears fans online
3:15And really To me, you can look at Caleb Williams 2025 season I think one of two ways There are some folks
3:23Certainly some folks That are On this YouTube channel That will say You know If you look under the hood Caleb Williams
3:32Did not play as well As his reputation Elevated him As such Last season And I think that That is completely reasonable
3:40He definitely left A lot of plays On the field You look at his Catchable throw rate Not as strong Completion percentage
3:48Over expectation Was extremely low Especially compared To the separation Of his receivers All that stuff Is totally reasonable I just look
3:56at this And I think Wow You know Here's a guy Who had all the Pedigree in the world One of the
4:04greater Quarterback prospects We've seen in recent years And at least last year I saw more than enough To be like Okay
4:12At very least This guy can be An average NFL starting quarterback On town I'm not worried About the floor Dropping out
4:21But I also think There is still A remaining ceiling For him To ascend much farther It would not be That surprising
4:29If a Really high Pedigree quarterback Took a few years To reach his Ultimate ceiling Heck We just saw Trevor Lawrence In
4:37like year six Finally take a Massive leap Last year And yet Despite all of These issues And imperfections He was still
4:45able To turn in a Very strong fantasy Season He was still able To pilot a very Dangerous offense And that's also
4:53In just his first Year with Ben Johnson And with basically Luther Burden And Colston Loveland Being full-time Players for about Half
5:01a season Or arguably Luther Burden Almost never Being a full-time Player Going into this Year I think that Their skill Group
5:09is going To take another Step with those Two excellent Second-year players Becoming more of a Focal point in the Offense I
5:18think you're Going to see a Step from Caleb Just as naturally As his third Year in the NFL And another year
5:26With Ben Johnson And I think that It's pretty plausible That he has as Good of a chance As anyone To be
5:34the 101 Or the 102 Next year While just Remaining kind of What he was last Year I still think he Probably
5:42is able To put up mid QB1 to low QB1 level stats And at worst Fall back into The early to Mid
5:50second round So I think there's A higher upside here From a value And it's always nice Of course if you're In
5:58a super flex Dynasty startup To just lock in That quarterback In round one And it takes some Of the pressure Off
6:07from trying To chase the position Throughout the rest Of the draft Yeah like I said You and I We shared Picks
6:15and selections For this one Fewer rushing yards Sure I can get there But Obviously Rushing touchdowns Was Something nice To see
6:23And then you Look at As I pull it up Here Some of the games I mean he has Sealing Undoubtedly has
6:31Sealing Second year In this offense I mean Near 40 points There In week 9 He can go Absolutely insane Didn't have
6:39all Of his weapons Healthy A complex system That he had to Learn in I'm all in on this I said last
6:47year I don't think Caleb Williams And Drake May Deserved to be As far apart As they are I think Caleb Williams
6:55Kind of Closes the gap On Drake May This year At least a little Bit I'm with you High upside Pick here
7:04In Caleb He's also my Favorite Pick here At the 111 Stay tuned For the Picks we don't Like Because There's correlation
7:12There Trust me Ryan who do you Got Yeah First I'll say I don't hate The Caleb Williams selection From both of
7:20You I have Caleb Among quarterbacks Ranked a little Behind this But I think Generally the Quarterbacks are Really good at The
7:28turn here So I'm Kind of just Into all of Them Like I Really believe In the Lamar Jackson Bounce back For
7:36example He's someone That I'm Higher on At the turn There So That's just Kind of Where I'm Coming from I kind
7:44of Just like All the Quarterback Options Here But my Pick For my Favorite In round One Is actually Brock Bowers And
7:53the Reason for That is He just Went Between Scoring And age He Just strikes Me as Kind of The One of
8:01The best Profiles That you Can get Here And yeah Consistently Going at the End of the First round In If you
8:09Just Take away The three Games That he Was playing With a Brace On his Leg Last year He Averaged 19.2 Tight
8:17end Premium Points Of course We're talking Tight end Premium 19.2 Tight end Premium Points That's More than Every wide Receiver In
8:25the NFL Except for Those Top three Guys Jamar Chase Puka JSN That go Ahead Of him Bowers Is between Like one
8:33And three Years Younger Than all Of those Guys And he Did it On one Of the Worst Offenses In the NFL
8:41Last year Getting A massive Upgrade At Offensive Play Caller With Clint Kubiak Who we Have seen Unlock Incredible Efficiency Even In
8:50Lower Volume Passing Offenses For the Seahawks For the Saints With Derek Carr So Quite Excited About That The Raiders Get Colton
8:58Miller Back On the Offensive Line That Should Should Help Things It's Just Like The Arrow Is Pointing Up Environmentally For Bowers
9:06In pretty Much Every Way And It's Just Hard For me To Say Like Why Are We Not Totally All In Like
9:14Insanely Excited About This Player When He Proved All That He Did Last Year And It Just Only Looks Like It Can
9:22Get Better Is Kind Of Where I'm At So He'd Be My Pick In Round One Round One Is Pretty Tough This
9:30Year We've Talked About This On Previous Shows That Just The Overall Dynasty Value Of Every Player Is Kind Of Down Like
9:39A lot Of These Studs Are Starting To Age But Bowers Sticks Out To Me I I Like The Pick I Don't
9:47Love The Strategy But Boy I Can't Wait To Get Into That That Is Going To Be An Exciting Episode When We
9:55Get Into It Let's Talk Round Two Because All Three Of Us Have Different Players This Might Be The Only Round Where
10:03All Three Of Us Have A Unique Player Here So Jacob We'll Go To You You're Going Early Here In The Second
10:11Round Yeah I Am Because I Didn't Even Mention This But Picking A Player In Round One Was So Difficult Because I
10:19Have The First Eight Players Are Ranked More Or Less Like Exactly How I Have Them Tiered And Then My Ninth And
10:27Tenth Players Are Not In Round One So I Couldn't Pick Them So I Had To Go Ahead And Pick Them In
10:36Round Two And So I'm Going Start With Astro Gentty Here Who Is My Pick In The Second Round I Have Him
10:44Ranked In I Didn't See A Whole Lot Of That Frankly During His Actual Draft Year That Felt Like A Lot Of
10:52People Retconning To What They Think Of Him After His Rookie Year I Certainly Don't Have That Opinion I Thought He Was
11:00An Absolutely Elite Prospect Coming Out Of College And I Don't View Him In Any More Negative Of A Light After First
11:08Year I Was Shocked By Exactly How Incompetent The Raiders Would Be I Expected More Of Chip Kelly I Expected More Of
11:16Geno Smith I Expected Their Two Productive Offensive Linemen To Not Miss Over Half The Season And Whenever I Watched The Raiders
11:24Which Was Honestly A Lot Against My Better Judgment I Continually Found Myself Being Visually Impressed By Ashton Gent In Games Where
11:33I Would Check The Stat And See That He Averaged 2.8 Yards Per Carry So I Just Don't Have Concerns Really About
11:41Him Outside Of Maybe An Elite Extreme Upper Gear Explosiveness Which I Think We Already Knew About Him Coming In Beyond That
11:49I Still Think He Showed An Excellent 3 Down Profile As A Runner He Still Looks Like An Absolutely Phenomenal Tackle Breaker
11:57And I Don't Expect The Raiders To Be Amazing On Offense This Year But I Do Expect To See A Lot More
12:05Competence They Go When They Add Tyler Linderbaum You You'd Expect Them To Get Better Health From Powers Johnson And Colton Miller
12:13And To Have Top Five Running Back Season This Year And If He Does People Are Going To Look Back And Say
12:22Hey You Know He Finished Within A Couple Points Of Robinson And Gent He's Two Years Younger Why Is He Yeah Looks
12:30Like We're Getting A Massive Value Stats So That That's Like A Great Call To Me But My Guy In Round Two
12:38Is Malik Neighbors We've Gone Too Far Folks I Get It In Terms Of He Had A Relatively Complicated ACL Injury We
12:46Don't Know How Early He's Going To Get On The Field In 2026 We Don't Know How Up To Speed He's Actually
12:54Going To Be When He Is But This Guy This Is Dynasty Guys We Don't It's Okay If Malik Neighbors Is Not
13:02On The Field Or Not Fully Himself For The First Six To Eight Weeks Of The 2026 Season Number One He's A
13:10Great Way To Kind Of To Tank In A Startup In This Year Right Trade Out Around One Drop Malik Neighbors In
13:19Round Two Sounds Awesome At My First Immediate Target Just Based On Value Right Now He's Just Had A Completely Elite Rookie
13:27Season Like We Have Almost Just Forgotten Or Don't Give It Enough Credit Now But Over The Past Five Seasons Malik Neighbors
13:35His Rookie Year 19 Expected Fantasy Points Per Game That Is More Than Any Other Rookie Wide Receiver Over The Past Five
13:43Years The Closest Is Puka At 16.1 Same Thing By Fantasy Points Per Game Same Thing By Basically Any Volume Or Efficiency
13:51Stat You Want To Pick Neighbors Had The Most Insanely Elite Rookie Season He Continued To Be And We Aren't Thinking Of
13:59Malik Neighbors As Just So Clearly A Round One Dynasty Startup Value If Not Like A Top Half Of Round One Dynasty
14:08Startup Value So Yeah It's Pretty Crazy To Me That You Can Just Draft Him Well Into Round Two Right Now Based
14:16On This ADP I Think We Are All Way Too Much Prisoners Of The Moment I Certainly Am When I'm Drafting My
14:24Redraft Teams But Yeah When It Comes To Dynasty I Think You Have To Have A Longer Time Horizon For These Elite
14:32Talents And That Will Kind Of Be A Theme Of Some Of My Favorite Picks Here On This Show I Love This
14:40Pick I've Said This A Couple Times This Off Season I Think On This Program As Well But I Wager That If
14:48Malik Neighbors Did Not Suffer That ACL Injury I Think He Would Be The Consensus 101 In Dynasty Right Now I Really
14:56Do Because He Was Already Valued On The Level Of Or Even A Little Bit Ahead Of Jamar Chase At The Time
15:05Of That Injury And If He Had A Season That I I Expect He Would Have Had Last Year Especially With Jackson
15:13Dart Having A Superstar I Totally Agree I I Best Ball Worried About The Injury But If I Can Offset That In
15:21A Format Where I I'm Pretty Sure Whether It Happens This Year Next Year Sometime He's Going To Get Back To Being
15:29That Top Five Dynasty Asset That Just Feels Like Putting Some Money Into A Nice Investment Account Not Taking A You As
15:37Early As Week Eight Week Ten When He Gets On The Field I Don't Remember It's Been A Long Time Since We've
15:45Seen Malik Neighbors On The Field When That Happens There Is A What Have You Done For Me Lately In The Dynasty
15:54Market And You Can Capitalize On That It's Like Rookie Picks Right You Can Trade Them Because You Don't Need Them Right
16:02Now But The Moment That Draft Gets Closer And Closer The More You're Going Want And Anticipate Needing Those Draft Picks Same
16:10Thing With Neighbors The Second He Major Value Picks I Love It My Favorite Pick Comes At The End Of The Second
16:18Round Talking About Another Wide Receiver Ryan You Hit On This With Malik Neighbors The Aging Elite Wide Receivers Not Named Puka
16:26Nakua And Not Named JSN Drake London Is Here 24 Years Old He's Got A Nice Shiny New Contract And He Has
16:34Broken Out We Used To Joke On The Market Report We Used To Call Them Little Points London Because Every Week You'd
16:42See 10 11 And Then 12 But All Of A Sudden It Kind Of Turned You See 30 Points 20 Plus Points
16:51The Knock On Drake London Is Unfortunately Health He Misses Time And Especially Like I Mentioned Just Broke Out 150 Plus Targets
16:59If You Remember At The End Of Two Years Ago 17 And A Half Plus Points In Championship Game Then He Goes
17:07Absolutely Insane Week 18 Goes Off Shows Insane Ceiling But Even Earlier That Year We Had A Streak 17 18 Then 10
17:1517 He Is Never Sinking You And He Provides You That Elite Top Tier Upside But Then Why Is He In The
17:23Late Second Round Well Like I Mentioned He Gets Hurt A Lot He Gets Hurt A Lot And Maybe His Quarterback Room
17:31Is The Worst In The League To A Point Where The Atlanta Falcons Make Their Yearly Worst Tweet Of The Off Season
17:40When They And It Shows Tua And Penix But That Can Change Really Quick And We've Seen That In The NFL All
17:48Of A Sun A New Quarterback Comes In The Right Coordinator Comes In And Things Look Up You Have An Elite Talent
17:56Wide Receiver With Elite Production Who's Broken Out Who's Got The Second It's All Right There For You In Drake London At
18:04The 211 And I Think There Is A Massive Drop Off I Think There Is A Huge Tear Break After Drake London
18:12If You Don't Go Elite Wide Receiver Or Elite Tight End First You Have The Opportunity To Net That Elite Wide Receiver
18:20At The Second Round And I Just Don't Think That Exists On The Board After This He's My Favorite Pick In The
18:28Second Round We Are Just Hoping For A Quarterback Please Please Just Get Us One I Think That's A Great Pick I
18:37Have Him In My Rankings Just One Spot Ahead Of That Exact Grouping Of Amon Ra And Seedy And Justin Jefferson To
18:45Me The Gap In Projection This Year Is Not That High It's Probably A Point Or So Per Game And You're Getting
18:53Multiple Years Younger From That Group Multiple Years More Insulation Before You're Going To See A Value Drop Off I'm Totally With
19:01You I'm A Huge Fan Of Drake London At That Cost What's Odd To Me Right He's Sitting At 24 Point He
19:09Hasn't Moved This Is Exactly The Same Cost For Receiver Who Now We've Seen Two Different Seasons Of Him Putting Up Massive
19:17Points So Drake London My Favorite Pick As We Head Let's Go To Your First Pick In The Third Round Yeah You put the pressure on me here.
19:28Um Look I I know we're going already at the early portion of the round.
19:33Tom mentioned Earlier Some Fears And We'll get into this when we talk about our least favorite picks about going Early Tight
19:41end especially up in the first round. Um To me I'm willing to take a gamble that Colston Loveland can provide a
19:50similar outlook to your team As Brock Powers and Trey McBride.
19:54And I can then get him at a range where I can already lock in a quarterback in one of those First
20:02two round picks and a skill position player at running back or wide receiver.
20:07And I can go and add that tight end where it's causing a little bit less stress to my roster construction.
20:15I know it's a gamble that he's going to be all the way up at this level because we haven't fully seen it.
20:23But I feel Better about Loveland making that leap Than I have about any other tight end with the exception of I
20:31suppose Brock Bowers when he was first coming out of college.
20:36Just for the combination of Loveland's absolutely elite pedigree.
20:39This was a player that was my favorite in the entire draft class last year in 2025.
20:45Had absurd per route rates as a college profile in Michigan.
20:49And then we saw last year slow start but down the finish including most notably to me in their playoff game against Green Bay.
20:58Was just clearly the guy that they saw as their most featured offensive weapon.
21:03People have been trying to map on roles you know from the old Ben Johnson offenses in Detroit to what they're going to do in Chicago.
21:13I expect this to be as close to a full-time 12 personnel team as possible where Loveland is going to be to
21:21me the closest thing to the Aminra St. Brown role.
21:25He I think is their most reliable intermediate wide receiver or tight end.
21:30We've seen them similar to what his team did at Michigan be entirely willing to play him isolated out on the edge
21:38against defensive backs and let him go and win one-on-one in gotta-have-it situations.
21:43He can do that. He's one of the only tight ends with probably the only guy who I would say is better
21:51at it than him is Brock Bowers who can win in those true wide receiver ways.
21:57And he also has enough blocking juice that I think he can have the versatility to line up on the line of
22:05scrimmage and potentially get some of those favorable opportunities up the seam against linebackers.
22:10So you know compared to Burden who's we'll talk about probably later is a high volatility high ceiling but has some holes in his game.
22:19Rome who I think has an established floor but I've just never really seen the ceiling traits with him.
22:26Loveland's the guy I want to bet on as the focal point of this offense.
22:32The focal point of this passing game and I think could provide a lot of scarcity at the tight end position versus some of the other names.
22:42So I want to take the shot on him in a range where I'm hopeful you know that I'm taking a guy
22:50that can get up into that round one two range of value and production from round three.
22:56Loveland's the type of profile I want to bet on.
23:00Yeah. I completely agree. Yeah. Sorry. I completely agree.
23:03He was also my favorite in this round for a lot of the same reasons.
23:09He's just the one that I'm the most confident is going to have the most featured full-time role in this new look Bears offense.
23:18I've been trying to kind of engage with like the counter arguments to Loveland lately just because I feel like I've been
23:26echo chambering myself talking to you a lot. Jacob talking to lots of Loveland lovers.
23:32Probably the best one I've heard was from Scott Barrett, which was basically that if you just put the Bears rates of
23:40trailing on their snaps that like they're trailing on the scoreboard versus Loveland's like route rates by week.
23:46It was basically he didn't start playing a full-time role until the Bears were constantly trailing and they were in these shootouts.
23:55So I think there's something to that in terms of how do you project the Bears offense out?
24:01Are there actually enough targets to go around for like multiple of these guys to hit?
24:07Thinking back to like the pass rates that Ben Johnson has shown us with the Lions in the past when they've had like these more dominant offenses.
24:17I don't necessarily know that everyone on the Bears is going to hit.
24:22I think that's like an argument kind of towards that.
24:26But yeah, to me, Loveland is still the one I feel the best about that the one that I think gets fed first effectively.
24:35So yeah, he's my favorite in round three as well.
24:38I will just say that I hate round three.
24:42I feel like most of the picks in round three are kind of rough.
24:47I had a little bit of trouble picking another favorite other than Loveland.
24:52I just kind of had to go back to the well.
24:56Yeah, round three of startups is not like it just feels very precarious kind of elsewhere to me.
25:02As I look at the third round of draft boards, I have to keep reminding people to throw out their pre-draft quarterback evaluations.
25:11Just throw them out. Because Bo Nix has done nothing but excel for fantasy football since getting the starting gig with one
25:19of the best play callers in the NFL who has gotten insane production from bums previously in his tenure in New Orleans.
25:27And Bo Nix was electric. They were the one seed last year.
25:32You want security. I think there's a pairing here that's going to be around in Denver for quite a while.
25:39They just traded for one of my favorite wide receivers to draft this year that we're not going to talk about today in Jalen Waddell.
25:48He's an absolute master with play action. They're not afraid to drop back and throw it.
25:54He led the league in dropbacks and passing attempts last year.
25:58And he has been a top 10 fantasy quarterback in both of his seasons since being in the league.
26:05And remember, this is a project quarterback. This was not a quarterback that was supposed to show up and take over and be electric right out the gate.
26:16And yet he has been. And you can get him in the third round.
26:21If you're somebody like Jacob, who has a little bit of a little bit, a little bit of reserve, you know, a
26:29little bit of a reservation about Lamar Jackson and coming back and being hurt.
26:34And you want a rushing quarterback with a big arm.
26:38Bo Nix is waiting for you in the third round.
26:42I don't think it's going to take much for him to take off next season.
26:47I love Bo Nix in the third round. Yeah, I'm inclined to agree.
26:52The only reason I didn't have Nix as my guy is I think that the guy you can get in round four is better.
27:01And I just have him ranked ahead. But yeah, I largely agree just with the bull case for Nix.
27:08The Broncos have shown that they are cool with being like a high drop back, high volume passing offense.
27:15The new play caller, Davis Webb, it sounds like part of the reason that they're bringing him in is just because he
27:23is physically faster at getting the call in, which apparently Bo Nix was kind of annoyed at Sean Payton at multiple different
27:31times last year for being too slow to do that.
27:35So we can see the pace of play going up more overall plays, more overall drop backs.
27:41Yeah, I'm super into it. It's like the perfect kind of elite play caller in the most literal possible meaning of play caller.
27:50Like, yes, he's just better at calling the place.
27:53Better at getting it from the sheet to his mouth and into the headset than Sean Payton is what I've gathered from my play caller research.
28:03So, yeah, I'm into it. I'm into the Bo Nix bull case for fantasy.
28:08And like it's there's a similar thing with Caleb where if he just gets a little bit better as a quarterback, like
28:16I think there's even more of like a fantasy ceiling and like a value ceiling as well.
28:23If he does take a step forward, which wouldn't be like the craziest thing in year three.
28:29Now that he has Jalen Waddell as well. I also think there's something to where if you look at the other quarterbacks going around Bo Nix.
28:38So Trevor Lawrence, Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts. I don't see those players make you to the third round that often.
28:46So I could have taken Jalen Hurts here, which I've talked about before on this podcast.
28:52We could have gone Patrick Mahomes, which he's bounced back.
28:56The enemy is back. Maybe he can regain form.
28:59And Trevor Lawrence actually broke out. I don't see those players get left behind as often as I see Bo Nix because
29:07they don't think he's, quote, a good NFL quarterback.
29:11I cannot stress to you how much I don't care about that.
29:15We've seen that conversation with Kayla Williams, and he's now around one pick.
29:20I think Bo Nix would have a hard time getting to round one territory, but I don't see him losing value anytime soon.
29:28He's not as young. He is already 26. I think that's fine.
29:33Not really worried about age at quarterback. He's just the quarterback that I actually see the most land in the third round.
29:41He's my favorite pick there. Round four, Jacob. This is a player that's close to my heart.
29:47I love him. I think he's been undervalued for years.
29:51A little bit of question marks with his quarterback after this weekend, but we'll let the league figure that out.
29:59But Garrett Wilson is unreal. Yeah, I have Garrett Wilson ranked up in the early third.
30:04He comes in here in the mid to late fourth.
30:08And look, we've been doing the Garrett Wilson thing for a while.
30:13I acknowledge that where we've been, you know, hoping that the quarterback play would improve or hoping that he would get all the opportunities.
30:21And I can fully acknowledge that he's never really scored quite at the level that you want for the cost that you're paying in previous years.
30:31But I do think he's arguably set up as well this year as he has been going into any year since maybe
30:39the Aaron Rodgers before Aaron Rodgers immediately tore his Achilles that first season.
30:44Where I think you can at least talk yourself into some hope for competence on the offensive line if we get progression from the two round one tackles.
30:54Geno Smith, we mentioned how disappointing he was on the Raiders last year.
30:59I still think if you can give him a little bit of time in the pocket, he remains an accurate thrower of the football.
31:08And he's never going to have the same level of sack scramble rates as Justin Fields.
31:14So I think that there's a possibility for him to be a reasonable quarterback for a fantasy wide receiver in Garrett Wilson,
31:22even if he doesn't get back to the level that he had in Seattle.
31:27And, you know, I think maybe the reason why Garrett Wilson's price has come down this year in all formats compared to
31:36previous is just some level of people getting exhausted with Garrett Wilson year after year.
31:41And some level perhaps of people seeing, oh, there's a lot more target competition here.
31:47I mean, there's better target competition in the Jets now than there was, you know, last year when their wide receiver two was like John Mechie or whoever.
31:57But I'm bearish on how much of a massive impact Kenyon Sadiq, Omar Cooper Jr.
32:03are going to come in and have a year one to take away from Garrett Wilson.
32:09I still see him as a pretty locked and loaded 25% target share guy on pure talent.
32:15And I look at him kind of similarly to how I looked at Chris Alave last year, who now goes ahead of
32:23him as just a guy that people are kind of annoyed with not getting the results of commensurate with the talent, but
32:31who it felt like one of these years, it's almost inevitable that eventually it's going to come together.
32:38And we had the big season from Alave last year.
32:42I think it's possible we get that from Wilson this year in a slightly better environment.
32:48And I think he's just ultimately the best player on pure talent available in this round that's not, you know, like 30 years old.
32:56So I ultimately go with him here pretty easily.
33:00We had the breakout year too. Wasn't last year, it was the year before where he finished as the top 10 receiver,
33:08was a top six fantasy wide receiver before he got hurt last year.
33:13And that was with Justin Fields. And we know the limitations that he has.
33:18So I'm, you do not have to convince me to, to love Garrett Wilson.
33:23I am, I'm all the way there. Probably, probably too much.
33:27Ryan? Yeah. I like the Garrett Wilson call. My favorite in round four though, is going to be Brock Purdy.
33:35I'm almost just tired of giving this take. It feels like I've been giving this take for the entirety of my time
33:43on Dynasty Points, the entirety of my time at fantasypoints.com.
33:46I'm like, there has never been a moment that I can remember where I've been like, yeah, honestly, everyone else, the market is too high on Purdy.
33:56Or even that they are properly valuing what Brock Purdy brings as a fantasy producer.
34:02It's just never happened. I guess it's never going to happen.
34:06But until that day, I'm just pretty happy taking him in redraft in every single format where his cost is always far
34:14below the production that you get out of him.
34:18He came back from injury, averaged over 30 fantasy points per game in the fantasy playoffs last year.
34:24I don't know what else you could possibly want.
34:28He, over the past several years, is top five in fantasy points per dropback, fantasy points per game, EPA per dropback.
34:35Like, every single quarterback stat that is actually predictive of fantasy scoring at the position, he is top five in with the
34:44Josh Allens and the Lamar Jacksons and the Drake Mays of the world, effectively.
34:49So I don't know, like, what has to happen, but I'm just convinced as long as he is with Kyle Shanahan in
34:57this offense, like, he is just going to continue putting up far too many fantasy points for where he is always getting drafted.
35:05I have him ranked ahead of Bo Nix straight up, where I think they're similarly disrespected, but Purdy has honestly done kind
35:14of the elite production for longer stretches of time.
35:17So, yeah, gimme Brock Purdy is the best pick in round four.
35:21Like, yeah, it's a good thing I haven't done, like, a ton of startups this offseason because I just would have taken
35:29Purdy in every single one and my exposure would be completely insane.
35:34So, yeah, Purdy all the way right now. I'm glad you picked Brock Purdy because I did too.
35:41He's also my favorite pick in the fourth round, and though you might have Bo Nix, you know, ranked behind him straight
35:49up, the best part is he's in a position where you could reasonably two-tap your starting quarterbacks in the third and fourth
35:57round and end up with insane upside at the position.
36:01I think you're selling short what he did when he came back just a little bit.
36:07We're talking league winners. Well, that was Brock Purdy.
36:1028.2, 30.9, 36.9 fantasy points last year through the playoffs.
36:14An insane god-tier run. And yet, 401 feels like the highest he's really ever going to go because there is the, again, he's not really good at football.
36:24There's a pattern here. There are Caleb Williams, Bo Nix, Brock Purdy.
36:28They may not be that good at real-life football to some, but in the fantasy streets, that doesn't matter.
36:35The price is right. The players are in the right offenses.
36:40That's all we need. And if you're thinking, well, in five years, Shanahan could be gone.
36:45We're not playing Dynasty five years down the road.
36:49Not even with quarterback. There's no such thing as safety at the quarterback position.
36:54It's a myth. It's a lie. It's not real.
36:57Things change quick. So why not take the value when you can?
37:02I love Brock Purdy at the 401. Let's talk now into the fifth round.
37:07Jacob, I love the fifth round. It always feels like, again, a make-or-break type round.
37:12And I'm just getting a pattern every two rounds from you.
37:17And there's no need to break it. Yeah, I have two options of Bears to take in round five.
37:24I think anyone who's listened to this program before probably knows which direction I'll go between them.
37:30So yeah, I'll take my third Bear here. I was really close.
37:34I almost took Jordan Tyson in this range. And I swapped it at the last minute.
37:40Stay on brand. I'll go ahead and take Luther Burden just for the brand equity.
37:46I mean, it would be blasphemous if I came on this program after all this time and didn't take Luther Burden as
37:54my favorite pick of the fifth round. You know, it's funny because I feel like Burden is the guy that, like, I've spent more airtime on.
38:04So I think I'm more seen as a Burden guy.
38:07I am a Burden guy. I'm a bigger Loveland guy.
38:11He's the one that I have the most conviction in.
38:15But I think when you look at this fifth round, it's a really interesting set of profiles where there's a couple safer assets.
38:23There's a couple older, riskier assets. The profiles that I'm most drawn to, and Burden's certainly not the only one.
38:31I think you guys have another interesting one that you're going to talk about, are the young players who I think are the big swings.
38:40And, you know, I'll freely admit that Burden has a pretty low floor relative to some of the other guys in this range.
38:48But I think his ceiling includes outcomes of being a very close number two to Loveland or even being the number one
38:57in an offense that I seriously want to target.
39:00I view his college profile as being incredibly strong from a numbers perspective.
39:05I saw everything I needed to see, at least in spurts, on tape last year in terms of a guy who can
39:13separate at every level of the field. A guy who's remarkably dangerous after the catch.
39:18And a guy who was able to take advantage of his opportunities in an offense that I want to target.
39:26I'm not worried about the role this year. DJ Moore is gone.
39:30Even Amadei Zaccheaus is gone. I think there'll be a maturation process, familiarizing himself with the offense over the course of the offseason.
39:39And it should be pretty condensed around Rome and Burden and Loveland in the passing game.
39:45I continue to be pretty unimpressed by Adunze. I think Burden just has more juice in every capacity.
39:51And so that's the wide receiver, along with their tight end, of course, that I want to be betting on.
39:59And he's ultimately my pick here in round five, just from the context of trying to make a big swing.
40:06And I really do see him as the highest ceiling player, for my personal opinion, within this round.
40:13Yeah, we talk a lot about the last thing kind of a player does, or for fantasy managers anyway.
40:20In week 17, he went absolutely insane. He was a league-winning type player.
40:25He had that kind of week. And it's really hard to ignore that.
40:30And, well, as Scott Barrett once said, it's upside.
40:33That wins championships. And one of the reasons I'm in on Luther Burden at this price is because I don't think even
40:41if he doesn't hit round two status, he doesn't come out and put up the Aminra numbers people are copying and pasting
40:49into his projections across the fantasy world. I feel like with the quality of receiver that you can take later, this is
40:57a perfect upside swing, in my opinion. He doesn't have to completely pay off for you right away because of, well, T.
41:06Higgins, Jameson Williams, Jalen Waddell, etc. There's this other veteran wide receivers that could kind of make that difference up for you.
41:14So why not take a swing? Yeah, I like it.
41:17I'm definitely not against Burden here. I like a lot of the young wide receiver bets here, whether it's Lan McConkie, Jordan
41:26Tyson, Makai Lemon, I think is even a strong value here in this round.
41:31So all of these upside swings I can more or less get on board with.
41:36But I wanted to go a slightly different direction in round five.
41:41Quinshon Judkins is someone that really intrigues me compared to kind of all the other running backs that are going in this general range.
41:50He's a year younger than Travion Henderson. He's multiple years younger than every other running back that goes in round four, round five.
41:58I am not really that in on Judkins this year just because of some slight injury uncertainty.
42:05I don't think the Browns are going to be very good.
42:09And I think you need like a I don't know that Judkins has a three down profile with Dylan Sampson to be
42:17like a total league winner in like managed redraft.
42:20Right. So he's he's not really the archetype I target in those formats.
42:25But in Dynasty, where he is locked in as this team's workhorse for the entirety of his rookie contract, he's younger than
42:33every other running back that goes around him. I think he's pretty good at football.
42:39I was the stats don't really look amazing, but I was fairly impressed just with how he looked on the screen last year.
42:47You get Todd Munkin coming in. So there are kind of two pads for the Browns this year, and I think both
42:55of them kind of work either way for Judkins.
42:59Either the offense is just better than we expect it to be.
43:03And in that case, Judkins is massively outperforming this cost, and he is an instant value in in Dynasty.
43:10Or the Browns are terrible again. Judkins has more or less a similar role.
43:15Maybe he comes on kind of later in the season and starts looking better and healthier.
43:21And the Browns are drafting near the top of the 2027 NFL draft.
43:26Munkin takes whatever quarterback that he actually wants to run his offense.
43:30And we're into the 2027 offseason. And we're saying, wow, this Browns offense could actually be decent.
43:37Maybe they're at like a more like an eight and a half win total projection somewhere around there.
43:43And suddenly we're interested in a young workhorse running back on this team.
43:48So kind of either way, you sort of win with Judkins in Dynasty.
43:53Like he's a guy that I'm going to want on rosters, I'm guessing, right now next offseason.
43:59So I may as well draft him in a startup this offseason, especially if you go with that kind of Malik Neighbors
44:08tankier one type of plan that I mentioned earlier.
44:11I think Judkins is maybe the only running back that really easily fits into that outside of like the top three elites
44:19whose value I don't think is going anywhere anytime soon either.
44:23But yeah, Judkins like at the running back position, if you're looking to make a multiple years out type of bet, I think he's perfect for it.
44:33And I think the price is totally right in round five here.
44:38Yeah, Judkins was my pick as well. He was electric to start the year.
44:43He looked every bit of the type of prospect we thought he was.
44:4816 and a half, 21 and a half, 14 point quarterback changes, though, directly correlated with his absolute decline in efficiency.
44:55He became a touchdown or bust week seven, the three touchdowns, only 84 yards.
45:01But he that's how he had to grind his way to 26 points.
45:05And I think that just shows that he has upside even with below league average quarterback play.
45:12And regardless of how you feel in any what way with quarterback play on the Browns, statistically speaking at every level, it was below league average at best.
45:22And I like you said, I don't think it's going to change this year, even if it is Watson or Shador plays through the year halfway through.
45:32However, they make their bed. I like Munkin and what he can do with a running game.
45:38And. Quinn, John, Jacob was catching passes towards the back end of the year.
45:44He's not a running back that has to come off the field.
45:48I think he beat out Dylan Simpson once. They can do it again and do it.
45:54Definitively enough for it to really. Put him in line to be one of those next work horse type running backs, which
46:02we've seen do pretty well in Cleveland historically. So I love the pick.
46:07He was also my favorite pick here and get him a little cheaper than I think you're going to see over the next couple of years, especially.
46:17Especially with the RB revolution. In the NFL, I love the Quinn Sean pick.
46:22I think it's awesome. Let's go. To round six, Jacob.
46:26Round six. I'm going to go with day flowers.
46:29He is a wide receiver who I just think is really underestimated in the market from a talent perspective.
46:36Largely because for whatever reason, at least in the previous iteration of the Ravens offense, he was not allowed to score touchdowns.
46:44But he's coming off a season as a full time player of 2.57 yards per out run.
46:51That's an elite mark. That's two consecutive seasons where he's been above 2.2.
46:55And the target competition isn't getting any better. It's arguably getting worse.
47:00They lose Isaiah likely. Mark Andrews is another year older.
47:04And really, the rest of their wide receiver room is going to be rounded up probably by some combination of Rashad Bateman, Devontez Walker, and two mid-round rookies.
47:14So I think it's an excellent opportunity for Zay Flowers to consolidate as many targets as humanly possible.
47:21There's some upside for how this offense could change potentially, and especially in the red zone under Declan Doyle.
47:28And with the Ravens, we've seen now the last two years Zay Flowers has run less than 500 routes.
47:35That's really been the main thing holding him back from being a fantasy wide receiver one despite these elite peripherals.
47:42You go back to his rookie season. He ran over 100 more routes in his rookie season than he ran in year two or year three.
47:52The Ravens have just had this odd circumstance where certain years the defense takes a step back, they get in some crazy
48:00games, and all of a sudden Lamar throws 600 passes.
48:04And in the next two years, either Lamar gets hurt or the defense is dominant and they go back to being his run-heavy team.
48:13I don't think it's out of the range of possibilities that through circumstances being unforeseen, all of a sudden that route total
48:21gets up from 480 up to 560 or 570.
48:24And you start to play out what Flowers is capable of doing, scaling up with an increase in team pass volume, whether
48:32that's by choice from Declan Doyle or because of a Henry injury or defense sucking or whatever it is.
48:39Those kind of things can happen. Flowers all of a sudden vaults into being the guy with real mid-level wide receiver one upside.
48:48You also have the benefit, I think at some point, either this offseason or in-season or next offseason, someone is giving Zay Flowers like $35 million per year.
48:58That extra little round boost in Dynasty. So I'm a big fan of Flowers.
49:03I think he's one of the most underrated players in the NFL.
49:08I think he's underrated by the Dynasty market here going around six.
49:12Yeah, Zay Flowers did the one thing I have been begging him to do for years, which is run up the field.
49:20One of the things you've noticed, Zay Flowers from last year, he actually stopped running backwards the first few steps after a
49:28catch and really started to turn on the Jets.
49:32And you might worry about upside with Zay Flowers, even though, yes, the consistency not really there.
49:38Lamar Jackson playing hurt last year. He played with some bums last year as well.
49:44I shouldn't say that. That's pro bowler Tyler Huntley we're talking about here.
49:49But you saw it in week 18 when they needed that game.
49:53Lamar Jackson comes back healthy. Zay Flowers has a massive week 18, which, no, doesn't help us for fantasy.
50:00And I understand that. But week 16 against the Super Bowl bound New England Patriots, he absolutely went off as well.
50:08There is upside with Zay Flowers. Should he find the end zone a little bit more?
50:14I'm with you. I'm talking about a guy who outscored or was at least in the same realm as CeeDee Lamb and Garrett Wilson and Tee Higgins.
50:24And I mean, even Brock Bowers last year at 14 and a half points per game.
50:30He's gotten better every year. I think he's just an absolute steal at cost here.
50:35And we at the Market Report have been hammering this for a while.
50:40I am in lockstep. Ryan, who do you like?
50:43Yeah, I had Zay Flowers as my favorite here as well.
50:47He's just the player with the biggest difference in just where I have him ranked versus where he goes in startups, like kind of anywhere in this range.
50:58So, yeah, I'll hop on the wagon. In terms of like specific Zay Flowers takes, this year is interesting with Declan Doyle coming in.
51:07I agree with what Jacob said on the red zone stuff, but also just with the efficiency and the potential for this
51:15offense to kind of get brought even further forward, like into the future of the NFL.
51:21Lamar Jackson's play action rate fell to 20th among all active quarterbacks last year, which is absurd.
51:27Lamar Jackson is the most efficient play action quarterback in the league for fairly obvious reasons.
51:33Whenever you're sharing a backfield with Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson, that's like nightmare math.
51:39Zay Flowers leads all qualifying wide receivers in yards per hour run on play action over the past two seasons.
51:46So literally all Doyle has to come in and do is run as much play action as Ben Johnson has done each
51:54of the past handful of years, as much as they ran in Denver when Doyle was with Sean Payton two years ago.
52:02If he just gets up to like that top of the league and play action again, I just expect this Ravens offense
52:10to, again, be the most absurdly efficient in the league.
52:14Flowers being a huge part of that. So, yeah, I'm also pretty in on him this year.
52:20I'm in on him just generally as a kind of a stable dynasty asset.
52:26Like his per route data has gotten better every single year that he's been in the league.
52:32Yeah, I'm just pretty impressed with him. And I think he's just a guy that people are kind of tired of or
52:40he doesn't like have that same sparkle and shine to him as he did a year or two ago when he was new and exciting.
52:49Now he's just kind of had the somewhat sort of like breakout year where he was technically a top 12 wide receiver last year.
52:58And I just think he can go even higher than that.
53:02So, yeah, give me Zay Flowers here. I think a lot of it because Zay Flowers is also my favorite pick in the round.
53:11We kind of all grouped up on this one.
53:15He's paying for the sins of Harbaugh, right? People tie the success of the playoffs with the Ravens and Lamar Jackson and
53:23his struggling and him being hurt, which was, Jacob, your big fear with Lamar Jackson moving forward.
53:29But statistically speaking, Lamar Jackson has been one of the most efficient passers in football since 2019.
53:35And yes, this new offense can be scary and it's timing and it's rhythm based.
53:41But all signs point to Zay Flowers. This team is going to funnel through Zay Flowers.
53:47I think even though this is year one of the extension that they gave Mark Andrews, I think that writing has been on the wall for a while.
53:57No likely. I'm not doing Rashad Bateman in the big two six.
54:02I can't do it and you can't make me.
54:05They've got a bunch of rookies and some middling tier players around him.
54:10There has been some rumblings if you're worried. Some rumblings about adding another veteran receiver.
54:15I think DeAndre Hopkins did a whole lot to really diminish Zay Flowers.
54:20I don't think there's really anyone coming through that door in Baltimore that can really affect him.
54:26I think there's an opportunity if you draft right.
54:30You end up with three, four wide receiver runs ones here in the first six rounds.
54:36I love Zay Flowers here. Phenomenal pick. That does it for our favorite players through the first six rounds.
54:43We'll be back with some of our favorite sleepers and post round six players here next week.
54:49So you're going to be locked in for that.
54:52For Jacob, for Ryan, I'm your host Tommy T.
54:56We'll see you guys next time. Remember that clear eyes and full hearts can never lose.
55:02And that your best days are always bent tilting.
