Aaron Jones

PositiveValue36:54

Had 80% snap share despite knee injury during game and returning from it. Usage very encouraging in terms of backfield expected fantasy points share; one of highest marks of week. Priced up to 5,900 from 5,100 last week. Lack of passing game involvement limited box score last week in gross, ugly game with no plays run from inside 10-yard line. Now showing 10% ownership, making him worthy pivot off Jalen Warren. Buccaneers are running back target funnel with top three in targets receiving yards per game allowed to running backs. Best way to take advantage of Vikings game even if gross.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveProjection60:00

St. Brown remains an elite play with no changes to his role; he continues to lead the NFL in red zone targets and end zone targets, making him a top stacking partner for the Lions. Trevor Lawrence prefers him over Jamison Williams as the second-best Lions stack option (after Jameer Gibbs) due to his consistent elite role and touchdown upside.

Insight page
NegativeValue71:30

Trevor Lawrence prefers Chris Olave over Amon-Ra St. Brown at their respective DFS salaries and ownership levels, viewing Olave as the better play.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeRole19:00

Breece Hall is mentioned as a potential stacking option with Geno Smith if A.D. Mitchell sits out due to his finger injury; he would be part of a cleaner Jets stack with Garrett Wilson and running backs.

Insight page
NegativeRole40:07

Concerns about usage in trailing game scripts. Braylon Allen playing significant third-down snaps and getting goal-line vultures. Jets almost exclusively in neutral or leading game scripts, having trailed on only 5% of snaps. Hall top 12 in expected fantasy points per game among running backs, but easier to achieve when not in trailing scripts. Seen basically same workload as Bucky Irving but getting vultured more by Braylon Allen at goal line. Not as impressive as Irving when adjusting for team plays and game script. Fine as piece of Geno Smith double stack but not interested outside that context.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveRole5:00

Brock Bowers is likely to return in some capacity this week for the Raiders; the Raiders are already one of the most efficient teams in the NFL in 12 personnel, and the Saints have struggled to defend that so far this year; Bowers' return is cited as a reason the Raiders offense is underrated and can push the Saints into a shootout, creating upside for Tyler Shuck.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

NegativeProjection12:21

Brock Purdy is one of the best fantasy quarterbacks in the game with rushing upside and an electric offense; he has averaged 22.7 DraftKings points over his last 10 games (top three mark on the slate) and is priced at $6,500; however, the 49ers are huge favorites against Arizona, so there is uncertainty about how much he will be throwing it; the speaker characterizes him as a 'good play' rather than a great play on this slate.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection26:49

Playing significantly better than any point in his career. Panthers top five in pass rate over expectation and top in seconds per play; one of fastest-paced teams now after near-bottom last season under Dave Canales. New play caller Brad Idzik has changed offensive approach. Panthers continued aggressive passing even when benching Cooper Rush and playing Jack Strand in second half vs. Falcons, contrasting with last year's run-heavy approach. Both receivers project well for stacking. Strong interest in Bryce Young doubles.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeProjection38:30

Will pop eventually but concerns about overall Buccaneers offense against Ryan Flores' defense. Baker Mayfield's splits against pressure and blitz are rough; Mayfield hasn't played well last couple weeks. Buccaneers bottom five in EPA per drop back and top five in EPA per rush, creating angle where they lean into run game. Offensive line playing well and Bucky playing well with great workload. Less appealing than Aaron Jones or Chuba Hubbard but could be Bucky week.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveValue61:16

Lamb is at 14% ownership, which feels light given his elite role. He leads all position players in XFP per team play—a better per-play role than Jameer Gibbs and Jonathan Taylor. The schematic matchup is favorable: the Ravens play a ton of two-high looks, and Lamb has a 31% target share against two-high versus George Pickens' 10%. Historically, Lamb has been the best wide receiver on a per-route basis into two-high looks, even over last season's data. At his current ownership and price, he represents strong value.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveValue71:30

Trevor Lawrence considers Chris Olave at $7,200 DFS salary an insanely good play and severely underpriced; since Rashid Shaheed's trade last year, Olave has been top-three in every wide receiver metric including expected fantasy points per game and Draft Kings fantasy points per game, with improved yards-per-route-run efficiency this year; Lawrence prefers Olave over Amon-Ra St. Brown, JSN, and Justin Jefferson at their respective salaries and ownership levels.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeProjection33:30

Scored short-yardage touchdown at end of third quarter but played only one snap in fourth quarter last week despite amazing usage through three quarters. Still posted over 20 expected fantasy points through three quarters and can absolutely nuke even if game isn't close. Fair to dock him slightly relative to other amazing plays given blowout risk, but remains strong option within 49ers stack or with Trey McBride as bring-back if game stays closer.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveRole35:50

With Jonathan Brooks out, gets full workload. Panthers historically run quite a bit despite new offensive coordinator Brad Idzik's aggressive passing approach. Panthers throwing much more than in past, but Hubbard still positioned to get bulk of carries. Strong play at 6,100 against Cleveland as alternative pay-down option at running back position.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveProjection4:45

Despite being a long-time skeptic due to poor per-route data, DJ Moore has emerged as a potentially insanely valuable downfield role in the Bills offense when accounting for plays called back from penalties. When including no-plays in the data suite, Moore sits at 26% target per route rate—matching Chris Olave and Christian Watson this year and better than any point in his career, even with the Panthers. He ranks top 12 in air yards per game despite running only 12 routes in week 2, indicating elite downfield volume and opportunity. If he plays (he was questionable with non-contact jersey status), he represents strong DFS value.

Insight page
PositiveValue77:52

Despite only running 12 routes in week 2, DJ Moore is positioned as a potentially insanely valuable downfield role in the Bills offense; the source emphasizes interest if he's playing, suggesting undervalued upside given his route volume and offensive context.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveValue10:30

Dak Prescott is preferred over Lamar Jackson because his price has come up and ownership will stay down; he played amazingly last week and the Cowboys are in the highest over-under game on the slate, which is rightfully so because 'every Cowboys game just turns into a shootout'; the speaker is mainly afraid to play Dak when ownership is higher because there are not many ways to stack him and it always feels optimal to go Dak and CD Lamb.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveValue78:27

Dalton Kincaid is explicitly called out as 'one of my favorite plays on the slate' by the source; positioned as a strong DFS play, particularly given that wide receivers are question marks in the Bills offense.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

NegativeValue78:43

Dalton Schultz carries 16% projected ownership in week 3 DFS after seeing high target volume in week 2; positioned as chalk tight end alongside Mark Andrews and Travis Kelsey.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeUsage50:04

Montgomery is at 2% ownership and $6,000 against the Colts, who have a weak defense. However, the Texans employ an unusual drive-based rotation with Woody Marks rather than traditional situational splits: Montgomery plays 60-67% of drives but receives no goal-line work if those drives stall, while Marks gets all high-value touches on his drives. This makes Montgomery highly volatile week-to-week; he scored three touchdowns in week one when his drives reached the end zone, but was ineffective in week two when Marks' drives were the productive ones. He remains playable in large field DFS if you accept the unpredictability, but this backfield structure makes him unreliable for best ball.

Insight page

Emmett Johnson

PositiveValue47:27

Johnson is a high-efficiency running back (top-two in efficiency metrics alongside Ken Walker) who Andy Reid has explicitly stated will get more snaps this week. At a low salary with the Chiefs as double-digit favorites over Miami, Johnson represents a classic game-script play for large field DFS tournaments. If the Chiefs build a lead, Johnson should see increased volume, and there is no cheaper running back option on the slate that Trevor Lawrence is excited to play. This is positioned as a contrarian, high-upside play in 150-lineup GPPs.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveRole19:00

Garrett Wilson is identified as a good stacking partner with Geno Smith; he is slightly behind A.D. Mitchell in air yards but ahead in XFP per game usage so far this year; if A.D. Mitchell sits out due to his finger injury, Garrett Wilson becomes the primary stacking option with Geno Smith.

Insight page

Geno Smith

NegativeProjection14:03

Geno Smith is very cheap at $4,900 and is easily stackable; the argument to play him is that the Jets have barely been trailing for any snaps this year, which should theoretically increase pass rate; however, the speaker is 'slightly less interested in Geno' and notes that 'it's Geno Smith' as a limiting factor; if A.D. Mitchell sits out, Geno becomes cleaner to stack with Garrett Wilson and running backs like Breece Hall or Kenyon Sadiq.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeMatchup61:16

Pickens is at 10% target share against two-high looks versus Lamb's 31%, making the schematic matchup less favorable for him. However, he has a history of outperforming schematic expectations; he went for seven receptions, 100+ yards, and a touchdown against the Chargers last year despite similar two-high looks. While Pickens is not the preferred stack option, he remains a reasonable play in stacks given the lack of better alternatives (Javante Williams and Jake Ferguson have higher targets per route against two-high but don't generate tournament wins). Trevor Lawrence is begrudgingly playing him in stacks.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveMatchup69:01

Against cover three defenses, Chase has averaged 26 DraftKings points per game over the last three years (10 games where Bengals faced over a third cover three), which is five more points per game than any other wide receiver in that span; his targets per route run rate jumps to 39% against cover three, and he has multiple 40-point games in these spots. The Steelers have played cover three on at least a third of their dropbacks in 15 of their last 19 games, creating an ideal schematic matchup. Additionally, both Bengals and Steelers offenses are top five in pass rate over expectation, suggesting the game environment could be high-scoring if the Steelers' offense clicks.

Insight page
PositiveValue70:01

Despite the Bengals-Steelers matchup not appearing to be a great spot on its face, the schematic considerations and game environment make Chase one of the speaker's favorite wide receiver plays on the slate; he is positioned to 'nuke' even outside of the specific cover three considerations, and the speaker expresses conviction in the play relative to ownership.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup77:25

Jamar Chase faces Steelers defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, who has been one of the most cover three heavy DCs in the NFL, playing it on at least a third of his dropbacks in 15 of his last 19 games. Over ten games in the last three years where the Bengals have faced over a third cover three, Chase averages 26 DraftKings points per game with multiple 40-point performances. At 8,100 salary with single-digit ownership, this is described as an awesome spot for Chase in DFS.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveMatchup65:15

Coker is at $5,500 against the Browns, who play a man-heavy, cover-one-heavy defense that the new defensive coordinator has committed to continuing. This is a major schematic spot: Coker averages 2.7 yards per route against cover-one since entering the league, ranking top-12 among all wide receivers (including his part-time rookie season). He ranks top-6 in XFP per team play and has averaged over 20 DraftKings fantasy points per game over his last three games (including playoffs). At $500 cheaper than Ted Arroyd McMillan with more end-zone work, Coker is the preferred play in this elite schematic matchup.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection70:28

The speaker questions whether JSN (Jalen Hurts' teammate) will continue scoring two to three touchdowns every single game and whether he will continue averaging eight yards per route run, suggesting skepticism about the sustainability of recent scoring rates.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeValue20:18

Jameis Winston at $4,000 is tempting because there are many pay-up options on the slate (Jameer Gibbs at $8,800, top wide receivers); when Winston has played above a 90% snap share over the last three seasons, he averages 22 DraftKings fantasy points per game (leads the NFL in that split for passing yards per game and catchable air yards per game); the speaker acknowledges Winston 'looked absolutely cooked and awful on Monday Night Football' but frames the interceptions as part of the package that creates drop-back volume and catchable air yards; weather (nor'easter expected in the Northeast) is a concern, but if it cooperates, the speaker wants to have min-price Jameis Winston at 3% projected ownership.

Insight page
PositiveValue22:44

Leads NFL in passing yards per game and catchable air yards per game over the split; drops back frequently and forces it downfield. At minimum price with 3% projected ownership, offers strong value despite Monday Night Football performance. Interceptions are part of the package that creates drop back volume and catchable air yards. Can be played naked due to min price, though has good stacking options with somewhat priced-up receivers.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveRole34:30

Favorite between Cook and Derek Henry. Has seen much better role in passing game this year; route share and target share both increased. Too-heavy schematic matchup against Chargers increases targets per out run for running backs. Ty Johnson likely back this week and was taking away routes previously, creating some uncertainty, but Bills wanted Cook more involved in passing game going into season. Averages over 25 DraftKings points per game in games Bills win by touchdown or more since last year. Has intrigue even in competitive shootout-type game.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeProjection58:56

Williams is underperforming his expected fantasy points by the most of any wide receiver (negative 8.8 fantasy points over expectation) due to a 25% drop rate this year. While the Lions face the Jets, who allow the lowest receiving yards per game on deep balls (27.5 yards per game, 20+ yards downfield) going back to the start of last season, Williams' execution issues and role disadvantage versus Sam Laporta make him a fade. Historically, Laporta has out-targeted Williams and maintained a better role in every game and split they've both played.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection13:33

Jared Goff is a top-three quarterback in home favorite spots, and that is what the Lions are getting this week; the speaker is interested in playing both sides of the Lions-Seahawks game but sees Goff as the preferred option.

Insight page

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

NegativeValue70:51

Trevor Lawrence prefers JSN more in closer games and played him last week with success, but questions whether to pay $8,600 for him in DFS; considers Jameer Gibbs a better value at that salary tier, though acknowledges JSN is a player you can't rule out.

Insight page
NegativeValue77:28

Jaxon Smith-Njigba (JSN) is priced highest among wide receivers at the top of the DFS salary board with 12% projected ownership.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeRole30:41

Had 100% snap share in fourth quarter after Rico Dowdle left last week; Dowdle confirmed out for this game. Projects as top point-per-dollar value at running back. Rushing matchup not great, but through air offers strong appeal. Bengals funnel everything underneath, second most receiving yards per game allowed within 10 yards of line of scrimmage. Bengals also allow most fantasy points per game through air to running backs. Betting on passing volume from Aaron Rodgers. 19% ownership reasonable given role uncertainty and offense's disappointing performance through two weeks.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveProjection5:52

Josh Allen is ranked not far behind Tyler Shuck as a favorite quarterback play; the Bills have come out much more aggressively this year, ranking top six in pass rate over expectation and pace; Allen has strong schematic matchup upside against the Chargers because he is willing to force the ball downfield against cover four and ranks top three in deep throw rate against that shell, which the Chargers play frequently.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeValue71:30

Trevor Lawrence prefers Chris Olave over Justin Jefferson at their respective DFS salaries and ownership levels, viewing Olave as the better play.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeProjection30:00

Insanely explosive player who can break a slate in three quarters. Dolphins allow most yards after contact per attempt to opposing running backs since start of last year. Walker currently leads all running backs in total yards after contact with 189 yards, 80 more than next closest (Derrick Henry). Chiefs are massive favorites, creating risk of limited fourth-quarter touches like Christian McCaffrey last week, but Walker's explosiveness and efficiency make him a total smash spot. 25% ownership feels light.

Insight page

Kenyon Sadiq

NegativeRole19:00

Kenyon Sadiq is mentioned as a potential stacking option with Geno Smith if A.D. Mitchell sits out due to his finger injury; he would be part of a cleaner Jets stack with Garrett Wilson and running backs.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

NegativeValue78:18

The source explicitly states 'you can probably miss me with' Keyon Coleman, indicating disinterest regardless of context; this is a fade recommendation for DFS purposes.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeMatchup25:05

Kevin O'Connell quarterback cheat code has produced 18-20 DraftKings points per game for most Vikings QBs, but Kyler faces schematic concerns. Ranks 42nd of 45 qualifying QBs in fantasy points per drop back against the blitz over past three years; scrambles even less against blitz. Todd Bowles' Buccaneers are a top blitz-rate defense. Game environment also concerning as both Vikings and Buccaneers playing slower this year.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeMatchup9:45

Lamar Jackson is a given play against Dallas in Brazil with questionable field conditions; the Cowboys have allowed the most scramble yards per game and top two scramble yards per carry to opposing quarterbacks since the start of last season, giving Jackson additional rushing upside; however, the speaker has trouble getting to him on a slate where Josh Allen is $500 cheaper and has shown higher ceiling upside so far this year; field conditions and potential Zay Flowers hamstring injury recovery on poor turf are additional concerns.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeValue78:43

Mark Andrews is listed at 18% projected ownership among chalk tight ends in week 3 DFS; positioned as part of the high-ownership tier alongside Dalton Schultz (16%) and Travis Kelsey (15%).

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveRole10:21

Parker Washington is projecting to be the highest-owned wide receiver on the slate, and the speaker says this ownership is 'well earned' and 'well deserved based on the role'; he is a good stacking partner with Trevor Lawrence, and the speaker notes that 'there's kind of nobody else on this Jaguars team that I want to stack with Lawrence,' making the skinny stack easy.

Insight page
NegativeValue53:27

Washington is at 19% ownership and $6,000, but Trevor Lawrence maintains conviction despite rising ownership because the role remains elite. He leads the team in targets over his last six games, ranks top-12 among all players in XFP per team play (a list dominated by CeeDee Lamb, JSN, and bell-cow running backs), and was one yard away from 22+ DraftKings points last week. The Liam Cohen slot cheat code is too strong to fade, and at $7,600-$8,000 he should be priced higher. While New England is not an ideal matchup overall, Washington should avoid Christian Gonzalez and maintain his elite role.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeProjection6:42

Patrick Mahomes is ranked third among the top three chalk quarterbacks; he projects well and has goal-line upside from 'little stupid pop passes that count as passing touchdowns,' but he is not as strong a play as Tyler Shuck or Josh Allen in terms of upside at the price; the speaker is less excited about Mahomes against Miami when the Chiefs have Kenneth Walker and Emmitt Johnson available.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeValue45:11

Judkins has increased route participation to career highs over his last four games, with target share rising to 14.5% (top-six among all running backs last year) from just 6% previously, driven by Dylan Sampson's injury absence. At 7% ownership and $5,500 salary, he offers salary relief on a slate where the Panthers have been a poor rushing defense (DeAndre Swift and Kyle Monongai ran all over them in week one). The Browns-Panthers matchup is close enough to avoid negative game script, making Judkins playable in large field tournaments despite the Browns' offensive struggles.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

NegativeValue64:00

Bateman is at 12% ownership and $4,700 with his role dependent on Zay Flowers' status. He had a strong game last week when Lamar Jackson indicated he would get more involved, but he has not consistently produced when Flowers is out. Trevor Lawrence is hesitant to play into his 12% ownership and notes the price has risen, making it feel less attractive this week. The role was present last week, but Trevor Lawrence lacks strong conviction on him.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveRole60:00

Laporta is the preferred Lions tight end stack option over Jamison Williams due to his consistent role advantage. Historically, Laporta has out-targeted Williams and maintained a better role in every game and split they've both played. This pattern has continued into the current season, making him the second-best Lions stacking partner after Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveValue74:40

At $5k, Tucker is a game-stack value play as a bring-back option to Ashton Jenty in Raiders stacks. He's the only Raiders wide receiver with a full-time route share and stays on field in 12 personnel, which the Raiders are expected to deploy more with Brock Bowers back. Tucker has been getting downfield usage consistent with Clint Kubiak's deep play-action scheme that made JSN special last year; he leads the team in air yard share and has shown big-play upside. Not projected to score well for the price in cash games, but offers schematic upside in tournament stacks.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

NegativeProjection0:54

Trevor Lawrence put up only 7 Fantasy Points in Week 2 despite the show's built lineup having mostly good plays; the speaker notes Lawrence leads all quarterbacks in DraftKings points per game over his last 10 games but expresses concern about the Week 3 matchup against the Patriots, citing slow pace from both teams and play volume concerns with the Patriots' spread-out offense without A.J. Brown.

Insight page

Trey McBride

NegativeValue81:01

Trey McBride is priced at $6,700 with 9% projected ownership in week 3 DFS; the source notes that McBride is a recurring discussion point each week, suggesting consistent relevance as a play option.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeBust80:40

Xavier Worthy scares the source because much of his projection is built around designed work and end-zone targets, which can be taken away quickly—as happened to Rashi Rice. The source's concern is that Worthy's role is fragile and dependent on scheme elements that may not sustain.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury9:45

Zay Flowers' availability is uncertain due to a hamstring injury; the speaker considers whether his return would increase interest in Lamar Jackson, but concludes that even if Flowers plays, the field conditions in Brazil are a concern—specifically whether the Ravens would risk him on poor turf given his recent hamstring injury and the potential for re-injury; Flowers' status does not significantly factor into the speaker's interest level in Lamar Jackson.

0:00What's up, Fantasy Boys? This is Week 3 of Outside The Box, where we're going to be going position by position, starting
0:07with quarterbacks, then running backs, receivers, tight ends. And we're going to be talking about some of the chalk, talking about whether
0:15we're going to want to play the chalk. But the premise of the show generally is we're going to be finding some
0:22more outside-the-box plays for DraftKings tournaments that we like.
0:25I'll be asking Ryan about some of his favors, maybe throwing some names at him that I'm interested in as we go.
0:33So while you're coming into the video, please like the video.
0:36Of course, subscribe to this channel. This is a pretty new channel at Fantasy Points, a new DFS and Best Ball channel.
0:44Would love to have you join us going forward, so please make sure you are subscribed.
0:49Ryan, Week 2, as far as our built lineups on the show, not so great.
0:54We did not do so well with Trevor Lawrence putting up 7 Fantasy Points for us.
0:59We had some things go right. That one, like most of the plays in it were pretty good.
1:05But yeah, we got to get back on the horse this week after kind of a disappointing Week 2.
1:12Yeah, I'm ready to get back on the horse.
1:15We said at the top of that show, hey, Week 2 has been historically at least one of my worst weeks of DFS ever.
1:23That was not necessarily any different here in 2026.
1:26But we're starting to get to the point where we've got a couple games of data now.
1:32Still not a ton, but I think our edge is going to be growing just as we get more and more data
1:39to analyze these matchups, to analyze this usage. That's where we really excel at Fantasy Points.
1:44So I'm very confident going into this week that we have some nice unique angles here to get an edge.
1:51Especially with the upgraded data suite. I feel like it just feeds us more and more data.
1:57I mean, the way it handles it so quickly, we're just going to have a bigger and bigger data edge using the
2:04new data suite 2.0, which I should remind people, you can use promo code DFS to get 10% off any package at Fantasy Points.
2:12That includes the data suite package. If you want access to the data suite, or if you just want content that is
2:20powered by the data suite, a lot of great content behind the paywall at Fantasy Points.
2:25Just use promo code DFS for 10% off. And included, by the way, in that content would be the Scott Barrett, Johnny Proctor show on Sunday mornings.
2:34Fantastic show. Would highly recommend checking that one out behind the paywall in the Fantasy Points Discord.
2:40Ryan, we're going to start here at quarterback as usual.
2:43We don't really have any chocolate quarterbacks. We don't need to spend a ton of time poking holes in the chalk.
2:50But we do have, you know, we have three up there, 8% and above.
2:55So I guess I'll just ask you about those three.
2:58Do you have any big stands that you love one of these three or fades out of Patrick Mahomes, Tyler Shuck, and Josh Allen?
3:06I don't think any of them are clear fades.
3:09I think all of these are pretty strong plays.
3:12The one I want to talk about the most is going to be Tyler Shuck.
3:17I wrote Shuck up in the Everything Report this week.
3:21That's what Graham Barfield and I write for the site every single week, going over usage from the previous games, looking at
3:28kind of overall team trends that are important to be aware of.
3:32What we've seen from the Saints, of course, the last two weeks and just since Shuck took over is they are garbage time gods.
3:40And it's maybe unfair to even call it garbage time because, hey, they forced overtime in week one.
3:46They won in week two. It's really just fourth quarter comeback mode.
3:50The Saints are insane. They're a complete fantasy football cheat code.
3:54I likened it to Blake Bortles back in 2015 for anyone who was around playing fantasy then.
4:00That Jaguars team just led the NFL in fourth quarter comebacks.
4:03Bortles was a top five fantasy quarterback. Tyler Shuck is almost like if Blake Bortles also was the team's goal linebacker because
4:11Kendra Miller was a healthy scratch in week two after he was the goal linebacker.
4:16Back in week one, Shuck was the one getting the most rushing volume inside the 10.
4:21That's what we saw at the end of last year as well when the Saints were unhappy with their backfield.
4:28And it seems they're unhappy with the Travis H and Alvin Kamara split that's going.
4:33It's just completely unserious. So really what they're saying to us is the Saints are just going to wait until the fourth quarter.
4:41They're going to lead all teams in yards per play in the fourth quarter.
4:45Just become this insanely explosive offense. Kellen Moore is going to tire out defenses with a league high plays per game mark
4:53as he's been doing for most of his career.
4:56But it really just is coming to a head here with the Saints team.
5:01So my kind of overall angle for Shuck and for this game is it's a low total.
5:06But the Raiders offense, I think, is somewhat underrated.
5:09We saw them put up 26, 27 points over each of the last two weeks.
5:14One of those was against the Miami Dolphins. But of course, they were also strong against the Chargers.
5:20They are getting Brock Bowers back likely in some capacity this week.
5:24They are already one of the most efficient teams in the NFL in 12 personnel.
5:29The Saints have struggled to defend that so far this year.
5:33So my angle is I really think the Saints and especially Ashton Gentry can show up to this matchup.
5:40And I think they can push the Saints. And if they do, then it's fantasy football fireworks for Tyler Shuck, as we've seen.
5:47So he's probably going to be one of my favorite quarterback plays on the slate.
5:52Josh Allen, not far behind, to be fair. The Bills have come out a lot more aggressively this year.
5:59They rank top six in pass rate over expectation in seconds per play in terms of pace.
6:04They are much faster than we've seen over the previous two seasons when it was Sean McDermott as the head coach probably
6:12tamping down on the offense a little saying, let's slow it down, keep the defense off the field.
6:18That's not been the case for Josh Allen and the Bills so far this season.
6:23They have looked amazing, been insanely explosive. It's a strong schematic matchup for Allen because he has been willing to force the
6:30ball downfield against cover four, which is kind of a tendency thing for quarterbacks.
6:35Not all of them will do it. But Allen is totally fine taking shots against it.
6:40He's top three in deep throw rate against that shell, which the Chargers play a ton of.
6:46So I really like Allen and the Bills passing game.
6:49We'll talk about the receivers later probably as well.
6:52Mahomes is like fine to me. I don't think he's as good of a play as Tyler Shuck or Josh Allen in terms of upside at the price.
7:02But hey, he projects really well. There are different ways to stack him up.
7:07We've seen Mahomes be really greedy at the goal line over his career.
7:11Just the little stupid pop passes that count as passing touchdowns can definitely be in play.
7:16So yeah, I think all these guys are fairly strong.
7:20Yeah. Funny on a week that quarterback ownership is the most kind of spread out is oddly just when I feel the
7:27best about the top few plays by ownership projection.
7:30Yeah, I think it kind of makes sense just because none of them are actually chalky.
7:35Like they are the chalkiest. But like you said, it's just super flat.
7:40So you're getting the best plays at not much more ownership than the second tier of plays.
7:45Yeah. Tyler Shuck. That's such a tough one for me because you tell me that Tyler Shuck is tied for the most
7:53ownership on a slate in week three. And my instinct is like I want to fade that.
7:59But also like it's there. They're at home in a dome.
8:02They have played at the fastest rate in the NFL so far this year.
8:07It's only a three point spread like there is a lot to like about Tyler Shuck.
8:12And I think you're right that like the Raiders can probably keep this game close, especially if Brock Bowers is available.
8:19And again, it's not, you know, the chalkiest quarterback at 15 percent ownership.
8:24It's that nine percent ownership because that is because I think that there are a lot of like pretty good quarterback plays on the slate.
8:32So they don't separate by by that much to me from some of the other quarterback plays.
8:38But there are just there's so many good ones.
8:41I have no real issue with Tyler Shuck being nine percent for the reasons that you've said.
8:47It has not been the best matchup so far.
8:50We have I know you you're a big proponent of not paying a ton of attention to defensive metrics this early in
8:57the year, which I think is probably wise. But so far on the year, I mean, the the Raiders have allowed 24th most fantasy points per game.
9:06They're tied for 21st most most per drop back.
9:09And then in terms of EPA per pass allowed, they're 22nd out of 32.
9:14So it's been, you know, kind of a tough matchup so far.
9:18But I mean, if the Saints are going to play at the same pace going forward that they've played at so far
9:25and at home in the in the dome, I think.
9:29Yeah, tough, tough to argue with Shuck, Josh Allen.
9:32I mean, I think all you need for for Josh Allen to go off is the Chargers to put up some kind of a fight.
9:40So I think if I if I go to Josh Allen, I'll probably want a bring back from the Chargers, which I
9:47think a lot of people aren't going to want to play anybody from the Chargers with the way they've looked so far.
9:55And I think I agree with you that Mahomes kind of the third on this list for me just because, you know, they're playing Miami.
10:03They did come back to their chucking it ways in terms of pass rate over expectation after they were, you know, bottom half the league in week one.
10:13They were back up towards the top in week two in terms of pass rate over expectation.
10:18But I don't know if they're going to do that against Miami when they have Kenneth Walker and Emmitt Johnson.
10:25So, yeah, less less excited about Mahomes. Yeah, we can talk about the pass catchers, I guess, when we move on to wide receivers and tight ends.
10:34But let's let's start getting into our favorite plays at quarterback outside of those top three.
10:39And, you know, we're pretty in on at least two of the three and I'll probably have some of all three.
10:47But let's let's talk about some of the other top quarterback plays on the slate.
10:52And I think at this point, I mean, there's so many strong options.
10:56I guess I'll let me let me try one.
10:59Yes, I guess just just for the fun of it.
11:02Let me let me try and see if I can find a name that I think you're going to love.
11:09I feel like I mean, we went to Trevor Lawrence last week and I know you're going to love Parker Washington.
11:16So I'm just going to guess that Trevor Lawrence is on your list again.
11:21Yeah, he works is what I'd say. Parker Washington is right now projecting to be the highest owned wide receiver on the slate.
11:28I think that is well earned. That's well deserved based on the role.
11:33I don't think there's anything wrong with that. But yeah, playing him with Lawrence, I think is a nice way to differentiate
11:40a little bit there, especially because there's kind of nobody else on this Jaguars team that I want to stack with Lawrence.
11:48It just kind of makes the skinny stack easy.
11:51But I don't know. It's not probably my favorite game environment.
11:54It's like very hard to extract anything out of the Patriots.
11:58They are just this incredibly spread out offense without A.J.
12:01Brown. I have like play volume concerns here. These have been two of the slower paced teams in the NFL so far this year.
12:09It seems to be kind of what the Patriots want to do when May is struggling.
12:15So, yeah, I'm not like as excited about it.
12:18But hey, Lawrence still leads all quarterbacks in DraftKings points per game over his last 10.
12:23And he's been balling out basically every turn aside from last week against the Broncos on the road, which I know I
12:31was sitting here saying I don't care about the matchup.
12:34He's already smoked the Broncos before. But like, yeah, if the field is going to get somewhat off of Trevor Lawrence because
12:41of that, I think that's decent to just add him into my Parker Washington teams.
12:46But I'm almost thinking of it more like that rather than the other way around.
12:51Yeah, I think that's that's a fair, fair way to play that one.
12:56I do see a couple names on the screen here that I want your opinion on because we're going to Brazil with the Baltimore Dallas game.
13:05And the field conditions are pretty iffy. The team seems concerned about it.
13:09And this is always something that is going to, you know, it's a game environment that I know we're going to love playing Lamar Jackson against Dallas.
13:18Like that's just a given Lamar Jackson should crush against Dallas.
13:22So we're throwing a variable in there with kind of questionable field conditions.
13:26And I'd like to hear your approach to that.
13:29I mean, both these quarterbacks just at 6% could be fireworks, could be kind of a gross game because of the field conditions.
13:37What are you doing with the Baltimore Dallas game?
13:40I think you can argue the field conditions almost either way where it's like, yeah, if players can't get a solid footing
13:47or pivot in the same way that they would on a turf field, a normal field in the United States, then maybe that's defenders falling down.
13:56Maybe that maybe that's players on the offense falling down.
13:59Like I try not to like read into it or think about it that much.
14:04I think the total, the point total is going to encapsulate this fairly well to me, which is it's the highest over under game on the slate.
14:13And I think rightfully so. Every Cowboys game just turns into a shootout.
14:18Dak played amazingly last week. He's priced up now, but that's going to keep the ownership down.
14:23I think it makes sense to go there with Lamar.
14:27I just, I have a little trouble getting to him on a slate where Josh Allen is $500 more and Allen has
14:34been just better so far this year, has shown like the higher bury you upside if I'm paying up at quarterback.
14:41But yeah, I mean, to your point, the Cowboys have allowed the most scramble yards per game, top two and scramble yards
14:49per carry to opposing quarterbacks since the start of last season.
14:52We could see Jackson have a little bit more rushing upside than he might normally in this spot.
14:58So I get it. But yeah, ultimately, there's a lot of quarterbacks I really like.
15:03I don't know that if I'm paying up that Lamar is going to be the name I'm clicking.
15:09I think Dak is a bit better just because of, yeah, just because the price has come up on him.
15:16The ownership is going to stay down. It's always just and this was wrong last week, like Dak nuked.
15:23But I'm mainly afraid to play Dak when the ownership is higher on him because there's just not that many ways to stack him.
15:31It always feels optimal to go Dak CD Pickens.
15:34And it's like hard to get off of that necessarily.
15:37But yeah, when the combined ownership isn't going to be too big, I think Dak is pretty nice.
15:43Does a flowers availability affect your interest in Lamar Jackson at all?
15:47Or is it kind of going to stay the same because he is too close in price to Josh Allen?
15:54Yeah, I think even if they plays, it's maybe that's like the spot I'm most thinking about the field conditions is he's coming off a hamstring injury.
16:03Will they even want to risk him on poor field conditions?
16:07Maybe not. If they do, is that going to increase the potential for re-injury?
16:11I don't know. I'm not a doctor, but I think that's like an angle worth thinking about.
16:17So yeah, I don't know. I don't know that Zay super factors in here.
16:22Of course, it would be nice to have him for the Ravens offense.
16:26But yeah, I don't think it's I don't think it's going to get me more onto them or more interested if he is active.
16:34Brock Purdy also at 6% ownership. And, you know, Brock Purdy, one of the best fantasy quarterbacks in the game.
16:41He has the rushing upside, the electric offense, but they're huge favorites against Arizona.
16:46So don't know how much he's going to be throwing it.
16:49And he is 6,500. So the price is up there as well.
16:53What are we doing with Brock Purdy? Yeah, I mean, second highest implied total on the slate.
16:59He's been great. Even in some of these spots where the 49ers can run the score up 22.7 DraftKings points over his last 10 games.
17:07That's a top three mark on the slate. So he's I don't know.
17:12I feel like I'm having trouble taking hard stances on a lot of these quarterbacks this week.
17:17I think a lot of them just are good plays.
17:21There aren't a lot of great plays. I'd say I think Purdy's like a good play.
17:26I think that that is fair. Like, I think this is that that is my approach this late.
17:32Also, as I'm doing my write up, I'm like, man, I just there's a lot of plays that I'm like, yeah, I
17:40think this is a pretty strong one. Not that many.
17:43There are there are some spots that I can completely X out.
17:47But but there's a lot of players that I that I want to play some which kind of limits the oh, this
17:54is the guy that I really want to take a big stand on because I think there's just so many good plays.
18:02Can you can you find a DTR UX in either of Jared Goff or Gino Smith out or do you think that's
18:09just going to be a game that is worth playing both sides?
18:13No, I think it is worth playing both sides.
18:16I think you always have to be somewhat interested in Jared Goff when he's a home favorite.
18:22He's just a top three quarterback in those spots.
18:25And that's what we're getting from him this week.
18:28Gino, I guess I guess I'm slightly less interested in Gino.
18:32The argument to play him would be that the Jets have barely been trailing for any snaps this year, which is insane.
18:39And that's kind of, you know, kept the pass rate down.
18:43But Gino is very cheap. He's yeah, forty nine hundred.
18:46Incredibly easy to stack or well, maybe not because I think Garrett Wilson is a good stacking partner.
18:52I was excited about A.D. Mitchell and his matchup here with the Lions being this deep funnel defense that are top three
19:00and yards per game allowed on the deep ball, which is just an amazing note for A.D.
19:05Mitchell, of course, and for Gino stacks, et cetera.
19:08Right. A.D. Mitchell leading the team in air yards is slightly ahead of Garrett Wilson, even in XFP per game usage so far this year.
19:17But the A.D. Mitchell, the guy that can't catch the most like notorious wide receiver for dropping the ball, for throwing it
19:24out the back of the end zone and getting traded because of it is going to.
19:29Is he going to be playing with like this giant glove thing on his hand?
19:34That's what he was doing at practice on Thursday and Friday, picked up a finger injury.
19:40Like I'm supposed to play A.D. Mitchell when he has it when he has a hand injury, when he can't when he can't catch like that.
19:49That sounds like an awful idea. So I don't know that like really the A.D.
19:54Mitchell availability and the injury there is is like factoring pretty big into how I'm thinking about the Jets and Jet stacks.
20:01I think it becomes it what I think what's annoying is he's going to play and we're not really going to know
20:08how like how healthy his hands are. So it just makes it a really tough spot if he was either clearly in
20:16or clearly out like it would condense things. It would make it easier.
20:20But yeah, the Jets just like annoy me this week for that reason, basically.
20:25I mean, that was like me with Lad McConkie last week, just like having players like maybe in and if they play, they're probably going to be limited.
20:34And just like, I don't know what to do.
20:37Like it really messes up the situation there. Makes it a lot less clean.
20:42If I mean, if A.D. Mitchell sits, then maybe it does become a bit more clean because then you just know I
20:49want to stack with at least Garrett Wilson and then maybe throw in a Brees Hall or Kenyon Sadiq or something.
20:56But yeah, it's a little bit tough to know what to do there.
21:01Yeah. And I mean, the fact that they have not been trailing at all kind of makes me think that they're going to throw more, right?
21:10Like if they are trailing because they're playing against the Lions, you'd think that they're going to be trailing, in which case
21:17they should throw the ball more theoretically. Yeah. So I have some interest in Geno Smith, but also it's Geno Smith.
21:24So you can't really don't want to go overboard there.
21:27What else? What other quarterbacks are you targeting? Can we can we talk about Jameis Winston, Neil?
21:33I mean, he's been priced. Yeah. Let's talk about Jameis Winston.
21:37What are we doing with with Jameis Winston at 4000 against Tennessee?
21:41Is this the game environment you want to be targeting Jameis Winston?
21:45Are you just throwing him in there naked because he's been priced and you can just play whoever you want?
21:51What what's your approach to Jameis? So there's a lot of really amazing pay up options on this slate.
21:58I want to say first, like Jameer Gibbs, you have to pay up to eighty eight hundred.
22:04All of the kind of top wide receivers project fairly well.
22:07There's like a lot of guys that you'd love to pay up for.
22:12So, yeah, Jameis at the Stoneman at 4K is pretty tempting to me.
22:16I think the big issue is weather, which we don't know about yet as we're recording this.
22:22But there is a big nor'easter expected to hit the northeastern United States this weekend.
22:27We'll have to see what the rain and the wind is like on Sunday morning.
22:32So I'm not going to fully commit to this play yet.
22:35But yeah, Jameis, when he's played above a 90 percent snap share the last three seasons, yeah, is up at 22 DraftKings fantasy points per game.
22:44That's that's pretty good. He leads the NFL over that split in passing yards per game, catchable air yards per game.
22:51He just he just drops back a ton and he forces it downfield.
22:56What do you want me to say? It's Jameis Winston.
22:59I understand he looked absolutely cooked and awful on Monday Night Football, but that's like nothing new for Jameis Winston to me.
23:06That's like almost part of the package and part of the appeal is there are going to be a few awful interceptions
23:14that are going to set up good field position for the opposing offense.
23:18But that's like part of the experience. That's what creates all of this drop back volume, all of these catchable air yards.
23:26So I do think like weather cooperating. I want to I want to have min price Jameis Winston at three percent projected ownership.
23:33That sounds like something I would like to sign up for.
23:37In terms of do you play him naked? I think you can just because he's min price.
23:43But I think we have a pretty a couple pretty good stacking options.
23:47Probably one I would say that's really good. We can talk about them later.
23:52But yeah, he he's someone I have legit interest in.
23:55Yeah. Weather permitting. Yeah. I'm a big proponent of stacking in general.
23:59I do agree with you, though, that like he is an example of something you could play without a stacking partner, in
24:06part because his best stacking partners, I guess, we'll see if you agree with me on who the best are.
24:13But they're kind of expensive, like they're sort of pay up options.
24:17So he could get there with, you know, 16 fantasy points without necessarily anybody else, you know, paying off their salary because
24:25they are somewhat priced up, not like super expensive, but somewhat priced up.
24:29So I think Jameis at two percent now is what we're showing.
24:33Seems pretty good at the min price. I, you know, before seeing any projections, my assumption was that he was going to
24:40be like the cash quarterback just based on like point per dollar.
24:44And that does not appear to be the case.
24:47Looking at me, you see here, fantasy points per dollar.
24:51He's number four on the list. He's not even that high up on the list, which kind of is going to suppress ownership on Jameis.
24:59So, yeah, he's pretty interesting. What else do we have?
25:03I mean, I see Kyler is back. We have him second in terms of fantasy points per dollar.
25:09Are you going there? Are you going to I mean, Bryce Young has been absolutely smoking.
25:14Who are you more open ended? Who do you like of the remaining quarterbacks we haven't talked about?
25:20Those are probably the next two names I was going to bring up.
25:24So we can probably just talk about them and then move on to running back.
25:29Kyler, I want to like he was one of my kind of late round quarterback stands coming into the year.
25:36We didn't really get to see what would happen in week one.
25:40All that basically happened was he threw an interception on the first drive and then got knocked out with a concussion not long after.
25:48So, yeah, just from the the same thesis that I feel like I've talked up on the show already, just the Kevin
25:56O'Connell quarterback cheat code where almost everybody other than J.J.
25:59McCarthy has been able to average between 18 to 20 DraftKings points per game every single time.
26:05Yeah, that's fair enough for Kyler when he's priced this low.
26:08I think I have game environment concerns here. Both of the Vikings and Bucks have been playing slower this year.
26:15So I am a little worried that it's gross in that sense.
26:19Kyler's been absolutely awful against the Blitz. Todd Bowles always one of the top Blitz rate defenses.
26:25Kyler by fantasy points per drop back against the Blitz ranks 42nd of 45 qualifying quarterbacks over the past three years.
26:32So that's pretty rough. He actually scrambles even less against it as well.
26:36So I think that schematic note might kind of keep me off of him some.
26:41Bryce, I'm more interested in. That's partially because he legitimately is playing way better than he ever has to this point in his career.
26:49The Panthers have been much more aggressive, both in attacking downfield and just in throwing the ball in general.
26:56They are top five in pass rate over expectation.
26:59You're the top in seconds per play as well.
27:02One of the faster paced teams now after they were near the bottom of the league in those categories last season.
27:09So they have a new play caller, Brad Idzik.
27:12So there's a chance that that is kind of his touch after he's taken over from Dave Canales and that that continues
27:19here in this spot against the Browns. And I really think that the fact that the Panthers continued to really push the
27:27issue against the Falcons when they were benching Cooper Rush and playing Jack Strand in the second half and being like last
27:34year's Panthers are giving 30 touches to Chuba Hubbard in that game.
27:38And that's not what we saw in week two.
27:41So I think that is pretty legit fun to play Bryce Young doubles.
27:45Both of his receivers project pretty well. We might get to them later, too.
27:50So, yeah, I have probably more interest in Bryce than a Kyler, than a Purdy, even a lot of these guys we've talked up.
27:58But I think Bryce is pretty, pretty interesting. Yeah, we've seen teams have success against Cleveland so far through the air this year.
28:06So it definitely, definitely seems interesting to me, especially it sounds like Jalen Coker is more likely than not to play this
28:13week so we can do fun things with the Panthers once again.
28:17All right, let's move on to running backs and start poking some holes or deciding that we're going to play the chalk at running back.
28:26So at the top of the board, we've got some chalk.
28:29We have Jameer Gibbs at 27%, Kenneth Walker 25%, Jalen Warren 19% without Rico Daudo there.
28:35Let's start with those three. Are you playing these three at or above the field?
28:40Are you fading any big time? What do you think of Gibbs, Walker, and Jalen Warren?
28:45It's going to be hard to do better than Jameer Gibbs on this slate.
28:50It's just an amazing spot for him. He averages close to 32 DraftKings fantasy points per game in wins going back to last season.
28:58Six and a half point favorites the Lions are here.
29:01The Jets are a top two matchup for opposing running backs by fantasy points per game allowed over the same span.
29:08It's really just does your lineup allow you to pay up to Jameer Gibbs is like the only question worth asking to me.
29:16I don't see any sort of usage or matchup based reason to fade him on.
29:21Honestly, yeah, if 27% feels light, I understand it's because of the price and just the way that you can actually get him into lineups.
29:30But I think it's worth trying to for sure building around that, building around Jameis.
29:35So I like Gibbs. Walker, the only hole I can really poke.
29:39And I don't know that I even want to poke this hole because it feels a little ridiculous.
29:45But the Chiefs are massive favorites against the Dolphins.
29:48There is definitely a world where Walker gets no touches in the fourth quarter.
29:52That was what we saw with Christian McCaffrey against the Dolphins last week.
29:57He played only one snap in the fourth quarter, didn't really nuke despite amazing usage through three.
30:02We could pretty easily see that with Walker. The Chiefs absolutely slam the Dolphins out of the stadium like everybody expects them to.
30:10But I mean, it may not matter. Walker is an insanely explosive player.
30:15He can break a slate in three quarters. One hundred percent.
30:18I believe in him to do that. Dolphins are allowing the most yards after contact per attempt to opposing running backs.
30:25Since the start of last year, Walker currently leading all running backs in total yards after contact with 189.
30:32That's 80 more than the next closest running back, which is Derrick Henry.
30:36So just, yeah, total smash spot for Walker. Twenty five percent feels light to me.
30:41I'm going to say that about all. These are just amazing running back plays is kind of where we're at.
30:48I think Jalen Warren certainly I think is maybe where the should you fade conversation starts.
30:53I expect the role to be really strong. I had a one hundred percent snap share in the fourth quarter after Rico Dowdle left last week.
31:02Dowdle is confirmed out for this game. It's kind of hard to give work to Travis Homer or to Eli Heidenreich in terms of creating a projection.
31:11So, yeah, Warren projects as our top point per dollar value.
31:15It's probably not a great rushing matchup necessarily, but through the air in terms of the amount of checkdowns Jalen Warren could be catching from Aaron Rodgers.
31:24I think that's how you kind of talk yourself into the play.
31:28The Bengals really just funnel everything underneath second most receiving yards per game allowed within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage.
31:35So I think you're really with Warren just betting on passing volume.
31:39Bengals also most fantasy points per game allowed through the air to running backs over the same span.
31:45So that's like strong enough to me. But I mean, also, if he's going to be 19 percent and if I'm like
31:53looking for a chalkier running back to poke holes in, it's probably him just because I'm a big Jalen Warren believer.
32:00I like Jalen Warren. I have thought that he should be given a bell cow workload for years.
32:06But but coaches haven't really done that despite a lot of chances.
32:10They might just be forced to this week. But I think like clearly the the explosiveness, the talent based upside, just this
32:17offense being extremely disappointing through two weeks overall is like enough reason to maybe try to.
32:23Yeah, try to pull back a little bit on Warren if you're and I think we'll get to them.
32:29But there are a couple of value running backs that I think are also intriguing pivots kind of in that price range.
32:36Yeah, there are similar to quarterback. Honestly, there's a lot of running back plays that I kind of like and I really
32:44do like all three at the top. Like I think Jalen Warren to me is is really good chalk at his price.
32:51But like you said, there are some other really good cheap options as well that we can get to in terms of the chalky plays.
32:59And we have a number more on the screen that look pretty good here.
33:04We've got, you know, Derek Henry has been scoring touchdowns every week.
33:08Ashton Gentry, the volume remains there. Didn't really get there last week, but the volume is still really good natural bring back
33:16if you want to play some Tyler Shuck stacks.
33:19And then Christian McCaffrey in a game where the Niners are big favorites.
33:23Last week, you know, I I speculated. Actually, I don't even know if I didn't on this show.
33:29I don't think because it was after we finished this show that I got a DM from Scott Barrett saying, hey, Caitlin Black is a Neil last play.
33:38And I was like, oh, you're right. Caitlin Black is a Neil last play.
33:43So I started going there a little bit after this show, but Christian McCaffrey ended up just being the guy that even even late in the game.
33:52They were scoring the short touchdowns with Christian McCaffrey.
33:55So he looks like he has a pretty locked and loaded role still, even with Caitlin Black, Caitlin Black mixing in a bit.
34:03Are you are you? I mean, and James Cook, you know, potential leverage on people wanting to go to the Buffalo passing game.
34:11What what are you doing with these other? We've got more expensive quarter running backs that are getting some ownership here.
34:18You can throw Jonathan Taylor in that mix as well and kind of a tough matchup.
34:23But he's Jonathan Taylor. Are you are you going to these other expensive running backs or are you just kind of leaning into Gibbs and Walker?
34:32I think my favorite is Ashton Jenty very clearly.
34:35What I talked about it a little bit when we brought up Tyler Shuck.
34:40But I just think this Raiders offense is being extremely underrated there.
34:44They're top two in EPA per play and success rate from 12 personnel without having Brock Bowers.
34:49How much do you think their 12 personnel efficiency is going to improve when they get to add one of the best
34:57tight ends in the league to their offense? I think by a lot.
35:01And that that's not just like a drop back formation very often for them.
35:06That's a running game formation. So Jenty, I think, is an amazing play.
35:10He led all running backs and expected fantasy points last week over 30.
35:14It's just been an amazing every down bell cow workload for Jenty.
35:19I really the only complaint you can make is last last week he had three drops.
35:24But hey, that is those aren't sticky that he didn't have drop rate issues at all as a rookie.
35:30I have like no concerns that that's going to continue to follow him.
35:35So yeah, just another giant workload for Jenty and you get him at both a price and ownership discount relative to Jameer Gibbs, Ken Walker.
35:43And again, in a game that I think we could see a lot of plays run.
35:48Yeah, that's pretty strong to me. He's kind of my favorite running back play in this range.
35:54I think everyone else you mentioned also has merit.
35:57I think I prefer McCaffrey if you're going to play Trey McBride as the bring back, just saying that this game will
36:05stay a little bit closer and playing to that angle or McCaffrey like within a 49er stack.
36:10Just because, like, yes, he scored the short yardage touchdown at the end of the third quarter.
36:16But then, yeah, he only played one snap in the fourth.
36:20Still over 20 expected fantasy points through three quarters.
36:23He can absolutely nuke. Even if the even if the game isn't close, he could totally do enough in three quarters.
36:30But it's I think it's fair to dock him a little relative to some of these other amazing plays when we have
36:37so many options to go to for that. Yeah, I don't know.
36:41Derek Henry and James Cook is the same take every week.
36:45You can play them as leverage off of their passing games.
36:49I think if I were to pick a favorite this week, it would probably be Cook between the two of them just
36:56because he has seen a much better role in the passing game this year.
37:01The route shares come way up. The target share has come up some.
37:05It's a too high, heavy schematic matchup against the Chargers, and we see that increase the targets per out run of running backs.
37:13It's a little uncertain because Ty Johnson is likely back this week, and he was the one that had kind of been taking away routes beforehand.
37:21But going into the season, it sounded like the Bills wanted Cook more involved in that way.
37:27So I think even of course, he's great if the Bills just slam them out of the stadium.
37:33Cook over 25 draft points per game in games that the Bills win by a touchdown or more since last year.
37:40But I think even if this is like a more competitive shootout type of game, then Cook has like some intrigue to me as well.
37:49But yeah, I think of them, Gentie is like clearly the favorite.
37:53Yeah, I think Gentie just looks like a really strong option once again, even as the price tag, as we speculated, has continued to rise.
38:01I think it will continue to rise even more, especially if he does what we think he should this week.
38:08But still, yeah, it looks like a very strong option.
38:11Then as we move down the list, I mean, we talked about Carolina, how they have been throwing a lot more with the new offensive coordinator.
38:20And I mean, part of the reason I loved the Carolina backfield during best ball season is that historically they have run quite a bit.
38:28It's been Dave Canales saying, can't wait to prove how much they're going to run it down people's throats.
38:35And they've kind of lived up to that in the past.
38:38And now they're throwing so much. But with Jonathan Brooks out, I think Chuba Hubbard just even more so is just going to get the full workload here.
38:48Is it enough that you want to be playing some Chuba at 6,100 against Cleveland?
38:53Or are you just sticking with the passing game there?
38:56I prefer the passing game. But yeah, Chuba is pretty strong for the reasons that you just laid out.
39:03Not a lot to add there, but I think it makes sense to go there if you're looking for alternatives off of
39:10Jalen Warren as a pay down option at the position for sure.
39:14Aaron Jones was 5,100 last week. I loved it.
39:17He got great workload and barely cracked 100 yards.
39:20So, you know, kind of lucked out to get the 100 yard bonus.
39:24Now he's up to 5,900. And we've seen that he got the workload on the ground, but they didn't really throw to Aaron Jones.
39:32Now he's up to 5,900. Do you have any interest there?
39:36Or is the lack of passing game involvement going to keep your interest low?
39:41I mean, he had an 80% snap share despite having a knee injury during the game and he returned from it.
39:48The usage was really, really encouraging to me in terms of backfield XFP share.
39:53He had one of the highest marks of the week.
39:56It really just was, of course, not popping in the box score because it was a really gross, ugly game.
40:03I believe no plays run from inside the 10 yard line.
40:06So I came into the week thinking that he would be kind of sneaky.
40:11And I think that just has happened because we were unsure about his health status for a lot of the week up to now.
40:19But yeah, now showing it 10%, that is a worthy pivot off of Jalen Warren to me as well.
40:25I mentioned I'm worried about the play volume in this game, but I think even with that in mind, Aaron Jones would
40:33be the best play or the best way to take advantage of that, even if it's kind of gross.
40:39And the Buccaneers are a running back target funnel.
40:42They have their top three in targets receiving yards per game allowed two running backs.
40:47So I think that's enough to me to have some interest.
40:51When you say that Aaron Jones is the way to play it, do you mean for both sides of the game or just for the Vikings?
41:00Because we've got Bucky Irving on the other side with pretty strong workload.
41:04Do you have interest there as well? Probably less than I have in Jones.
41:09Bucky is going to pop eventually one of these games.
41:12Where I worry about from him is just the overall offense against this Ryan Flores defense.
41:18A lot of Baker Mayfield splits against pressure and the Blitz are a little bit rough.
41:23Mayfield has not been playing very well the last couple of weeks.
41:27Of course, Buccaneers, one of the worst turnover margins in the NFL.
41:31They're bottom five in EPA per drop back. They are top five in EPA per rush.
41:36So maybe there's an angle here where they look and say, hey, our only chance of competing here is to lean into the run.
41:44The offensive line is playing really well. Bucky's playing really well.
41:48The workload's been great. I could see it, but I don't know if I fully get there.
41:54I think Aaron Jones, Chuba Hubbard are probably in a bit better of spots.
41:59But I don't know. I'll be kicking myself if this is Bucky week after I've shilled out for him the last couple of weeks.
42:07Yeah, I mean, Vikings just have kind of a tough defense.
42:10So I think that makes sense to maybe get a little bit lower there.
42:15I mean, we talked about the Jets game. We talked about potentially playing some Geno.
42:20Would you include Brees Hall in some Geno stacks or just as, you know, a one-off in some other lineups?
42:27Do you like Brees Hall at all? He concerns me a little bit because, and this is weird and this, like, should
42:34not be happening if I were coaching the New York Jets.
42:38But we've seen Braylon Allen playing a lot of third downs.
42:42And we've seen the Jets, as I mentioned earlier, almost exclusively in neutral or leading game scripts, right?
42:48They've only trailed on 5% of their snaps. Hall is top 12 in expected fantasy points per game among running backs.
42:55But that's a lot easier to do when you aren't in these trailing game scripts.
43:00He's seen basically the same workload as Bucky Irving.
43:03But he, if you count the plays called back, he's getting vultured by Braylon Allen at the goal line a little bit more.
43:10He's not, yeah, in terms of adjusting for team plays for game script, it's not quite as impressive as Irving to me.
43:18So I think if you were playing Geno and wanted a piece of a double stack, Hall would be fine.
43:24Just to bet on, like, Geno, Garrett, Brees Hall.
43:28But outside of that, I don't think I'm that interested.
43:31I'm just mostly not sure what the usage will look like in a trailing game script.
43:36Yeah, I mean, of course, it should be Brees Hall playing 85% of the snaps and being one of the top targets
43:44on the team and getting everything around the line of scrimmage if it was me making the decisions.
43:50But I don't know. I'm extremely bitter at the Jets coaching staff and have been for the past several years with Brees Hall.
43:57I mean, they're not great. They're not using their stars quite to the extent that we would like them to.
44:04Let me just open it up to you because I've got some other names that I have some interest in that I could throw at you.
44:13But I want to know if you have any other big favorites at running back that we haven't talked about yet.
44:20One name I'll bring up. And then I want to ask you about a name, Neil, once I'm done talking about mine.
44:27Quinchan Judkins is intriguing to me. He's all the way down at 5,500.
44:32The thing with Judkins is, yes, the efficiency has been awful.
44:35He's been at 2.3 yards per carry so far this year.
44:39Hasn't really been efficient on this Browns team really since October of his rookie season.
44:44It's been extremely rough sailing. But yeah, he's priced down.
44:47He's cheaper than all these running backs that we have talked about.
44:51Gets a matchup against the Panthers who have allowed the most rushing fantasy points per game to opposing running backs going back to the start of last season.
45:01We have seen Judkins' receiving role actually come up over the last four weeks.
45:06His last four games played, so going back to the final two of last season.
45:11In those four games, those have been his four highest route participation rates in his entire career.
45:16The target share in that span has come up to 14.5%.
45:20That would have ranked top six among all running backs last year.
45:24Up from just 6% in all his previous games.
45:27So the reason this is happening is because Dylan Sampson has not been playing for most of this span.
45:33He played like a couple of snaps in week one and then immediately left with an injury.
45:39Has not played in any of those other games I mentioned.
45:43So we can see the workload increasing. It hasn't necessarily mattered for fantasy because the Browns have been a complete joke of an offense throughout all of this.
45:52But this might be the spot. It's a close enough spread.
45:56As I mentioned, it's a great rushing matchup. We saw DeAndre Swift and Kyle Monongai absolutely run all over the Panthers in week one.
46:04Yeah, for 7%, 5,500 on a slate where we want to save salary.
46:08I think that's pretty interesting to me. Just giving a little less game script sensitivity.
46:13Possibly just one of the better rushing matchups. That's pretty fun.
46:17I don't know. What do you think? And you tell me what you think and then I'll ask you about the guy I want to ask you about.
46:27Yeah, I listed Quinchon Judkins as he'll be in my player pool in a 150 set.
46:32Not a target for me if I'm only playing 20 lineups.
46:36Just because we have so many strong running back plays.
46:39So there is opportunity cost in playing him. But like I said, I agree with you.
46:44This is the spot to play him because the Panthers have been pretty bad against running backs because he's been more involved in the passing game.
46:53And it's also like a game at home, like you said, with a close spread.
46:58So if it's ever going to hit, he's got enough volume that if they can keep it close, they should run enough
47:05and he should be a strong play. So I'm with you on Quinchon Judkins being playable in large field tournaments.
47:12Awesome. So the guy I wanted to ask you about, Neil, is, and this is the most Neil-ass play that I could come up with this week.
47:21Emmitt Johnson. Are we playing Emmitt Johnson in a game script where the Chiefs could be leading by 30 points in the fourth quarter?
47:29Andy Reid talked about getting more snaps for Emmitt Johnson this week.
47:33He has played out of his mind. It's like him and Ken Walker is the top two in every running back efficiency metric.
47:41Why not for Emmitt Johnson? I love it. Yeah, that is a great Neil-ass play.
47:46And then I wrote up the Chiefs. Similar to last week, I wrote up the Chiefs.
47:51I did not include Emmitt Johnson in my initial write-up.
47:55But you're absolutely right that that is very much a Neil-ass play.
47:59Just they're, what, double? I mean, double-digit favorites, even in Miami.
48:03They're trying to get him more involved anyway. They're probably looking for ways to save Kenneth Walker's legs a little bit after,
48:10especially week one, that crazy high usage. Chiefs could absolutely roll here.
48:14And if they do, yeah, it would make a lot of sense for them to lean on Emmitt Johnson more this week.
48:21And I don't think we have anybody else lower in price than Emmitt Johnson that we're excited to play.
48:28So yeah, no, I love that call. Obviously not in 20.
48:31Like if you're playing 20 lineups, I'm probably not targeting Emmitt Johnson.
48:35But in a 150 set, I think he does make some sense to mix in there with some, you know, if you're
48:43trying to get to some chalkier spend-ups, some stacks where you're paying up a little bit, I think he makes some sense in large field GPPs.
48:52Love it. Love to see. I mean, Scott just posted this week the meme of you becoming the sensei.
48:58And now I feel like you're doing the same thing to me.
49:02Just throwing my plays at me. So I'm not at all because I was in our projections meeting behind the scenes look
49:09with Scott earlier today and Emmitt Johnson came up.
49:12And I think he said first, like, Neil's going to bring up Emmitt Johnson.
49:17I'm like, I was thinking the same thing. I will tell him you said this and that it's a Neil-ass play.
49:24Yeah, I didn't think I would have to give you the name, Neil.
49:29I was expecting you to bring it up. I'm disappointed in myself, frankly, that Scott's coming up with, and they've been like
49:36great Neil-ass plays too, like absolutely fit exactly the type of play that I love to play in Millie Maker type settings.
49:43That's really funny. Yeah, I think that's good at running back unless you had anyone else you wanted to ask me about.
49:51But yeah, there's just so there's so many good plays at the top.
49:55It's like really hard to get super crazy different, I think.
49:59Yeah. So let me just throw one name at you because we've seen two games from him.
50:04He crushed in one of them and then was terrible in the second game.
50:09Now David Montgomery coming in at 2% ownership at 6,000 in a matchup with the Colts that I think Houston could just
50:17absolutely like the Colts have a really bad defense.
50:20So I think Montgomery could have success here. I think he's going to be very hit or miss week to week.
50:27But like if you tell me that Dave Montgomery has three touchdowns in this game, like he did week one, obviously he's not it's not likely to happen.
50:36But like seems like this is a spot where he could do it.
50:40So I'm like sort of interested in David Montgomery at 2% ownership against the Colts.
50:45Do you do is that too crazy for you?
50:48I don't think it's crazy. He wasn't on my list.
50:52But to your point about him being kind of volatile, the Texans are doing this really weird and annoying thing with their running back usage this year.
51:01I had completely missed it after week one, but it was very apparent after after week two, rather than playing Montgomery and Woody Marks in different situations.
51:10So you would think, OK, David Montgomery should be the primary runner, probably the goal line back, right?
51:16Like typical David Montgomery roles. Woody Marks a bit better of a receiving back.
51:21That's not at all how they've deployed them so far this year.
51:25In week two, they play they alternated drives so they would each have a drive to themselves and each of them just
51:32played a 100% running back snap share on their specific drives.
51:36So rather than rotating these guys in and putting Monty in at the goal line, what they've just done is said, hey,
51:43Montgomery is going to play 60% of the drives or two thirds of the drives.
51:48But if those are the drives that don't get to the end zone, he is SOL.
51:54Like he's not going to get the high value touches.
51:57He's not coming on at the goal line for Woody Marks.
52:01If his drives happen to be the ones that advance down the field, that was what we saw in week two.
52:08It just happened to be all of Marks' drives that the Texans actually were able to move the ball.
52:14I kind of like that. I kind of like that.
52:17It was the exact opposite in week one. Of course, it just happened that Monty was in when the Texans made it to the goal line.
52:26And yeah, that happens again. I could see another multi-touchdown game when everybody's kind of off of it and thinking that this backfield sucks.
52:34I do think the backfield sucks. This is super annoying for fantasy.
52:38It makes it very unpredictable. But yeah, I can see the appeal there if you're in like a 150 set of lineups
52:46and getting some David Montgomery exposure because of that.
52:49As a Montgomery best ball ball, I kind of hate that because he was obviously the more expensive than Woody Marks.
52:56And the reason that I was a ball was the coach speak being like, he's going to elevate the whole offense.
53:03They made it sound like they're going to give him 25 touches a game.
53:08And that's clearly not in the cards. But week to week, you know, that could certainly work out in DFS.
53:14So at 2%, yeah, I'm pretty into it for large field DFS tournaments.
53:19But we can move on to wide receivers. And we'll again start looking at the top.
53:24And we've already talked about Parker Washington a bit.
53:27He is the highest ownership on the slate. Is this, I know you're a Parker Washington fan, but is 19% too high for you?
53:35I don't know if there's such a thing as too high for me with Parker Washington.
53:40He was one yard away. He went down at the one yard line, one yard away from over 22 DraftKings points.
53:47Last week, he was just like one more yard away from the bonus.
53:52So very easily could have had another massive game.
53:55The usage has been awesome. He is still top 12 among all players in XFP per team play, which is extremely impressive for a wide receiver.
54:04That list is mostly like CeeDee Lamb, JSN and Bell Cow running backs.
54:08And then it's Parker Washington there in the top 12.
54:11So that's really bullish. He's led the team in targets over each of his last six games.
54:17Yeah, I don't know. I guess finally we've all come around to Parker Washington and accepted him.
54:23And now he has ownership and he's priced at 6K.
54:26But like I'm going to keep playing him. I don't see a reason not to.
54:31The role is too good. The Liam Cohen slot cheat code is too good.
54:36Yeah, I don't know. I just repeat myself on Parker Washington every single week.
54:41But I'm not coming off of it because of ownership this week.
54:45Yeah, it seems like the ownership and the price are catching up.
54:49But like they're catching up kind of slowly. So you can still take advantage of it.
54:54His elite role. Because like this is what he should be.
54:58You know, $7,600 receiver, $8,000 receiver probably. And the ownership probably not catching up quite as much as it should.
55:04Now it is not like an ideal matchup with New England overall.
55:08But also we do have, you know, he's not going to be seeing Christian Gonzalez.
55:13So potentially does have a strong individual matchup because he's not going to see Christian Gonzalez as much.
55:20Should we pull up the wide receivers graphically? I know you had something that you wanted to show us regarding wide receivers in the data suite.
55:28So if Trae can pull that up for us, let's take a look at that.
55:33Yeah, so this is Data Suite 2.0, which you guys can get access to if you go to fantasypoints.com.
55:40Use promo code DFS for 10% off. Yeah, I just wanted to show everyone a quick tool, something that I do in the data suite to pull stats.
55:49So we are in the advanced receiving table here, which is a table that's returned from data suite 1.0.
55:55But as you might be able to tell, you can do some cool new stuff with it.
56:01So what I've done here is I have receiving yards per game with a depth of target of less than or equal
56:0910 to 10 yards here in the first column.
56:12I was able to move the columns around. This column normally would not be here right at the start of the table.
56:19I can add conditional formatting. So you get like the nice pretty rainbow to show which numbers are highest.
56:25And this is a saved snapshot from when I had the filters showing the depth of target under 10 yards, right?
56:32So that's what I've got here right next to it.
56:36Just to compare side by side, I have receiving yards per game of 20 or more yards downfield on those throws with
56:43a depth of target of 20 plus. I can sort by this as well.
56:48I can compare it side by side to the shallow throws.
56:52So when I say this team is an underneath funnel, this team is a deep funnel, I can just pull it up
56:59so easily in the data suite right here. And again, it's a saved snapshot.
57:04Here I can clear it. I'm not going to do that.
57:07But yeah, you can just right click on any column to save any sort of snapshot that keeps your filters even after you change them.
57:16So I can have these side by side here.
57:19I mentioned earlier in the show that the Lions have been a deep funnel.
57:23Yeah. And you can just see it right here.
57:26They're the most receiving yards per game allowed on the deep ball.
57:30And they are, if we sort here, they're towards the bottom within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage.
57:37Yeah. Bottom five here as we scroll down. So that's just one kind of quick trick, fun little thing that you can do with data suite 2.0.
57:46Again, use promo code DFS for 10% off any package over at fantasypoints.com if you are interested in that.
57:52Love that. That's another, I mean, last week you showed us the on-off splits for different players.
57:58And I've been using that constantly after you showed that last week.
58:02So maybe this is something I'll be adding. I feel like with the data suite 2.0, every single week I'm going to
58:09be adding new things to my repertoire as far as like what am I going to look at for each individual game, each individual player.
58:18Yeah, there's just, there's so much there and it's really, really useful stuff.
58:22One team that I did not see towards the top there, unfortunately, in terms of allowing the deep throw is Detroit.
58:29And I bring that up because I was going to say, I want your opinion not only on Almanar St.
58:36Brown, but also Jamison Williams, who has not really gotten there yet, but the role has been, you know, fairly good for Jamo.
58:44So he's going to come in at lower ownership.
58:47So looking at Detroit, and again, it's not the best matchup if you're looking at, you know, depth of target beyond 20.
58:54But, you know, is this a week that we think Jamo could get there?
58:59What's your level of interest in the Detroit receivers?
59:02Yeah, as you said, just 27.5 receiving yards per game, 20 or more yards downfield.
59:07That's the lowest in the NFL going back to the start of last season.
59:12With the Jets, it's a little questionable how much stock I put into that right now for a couple of reasons.
59:19One, Aaron Glenn was not calling this defense throughout the entirety of last year.
59:23Also, like the Sauce Gardner got traded midway through the season.
59:27Like, it's like not as clean of a sample for the Jets right now, just in terms of matchups, as you might get for other teams.
59:36But yeah, I think that's a good note in terms of Jamison Williams right now is underperforming his expected fantasy points, his
59:43volume by the most of any wide receiver. It's a negative 8.8 fantasy point over expectation mark.
59:49And a lot of it is his own fault.
59:52He has a 25% drop rate this year. So, yeah, I don't know.
59:56I think if I'm doubling Lions, I think Aminrah St.
60:00Brown, clearly an amazing play, as he just kind of always is.
60:04Nothing's really changed there. Still leading the NFL in red zone targets, end zone targets, one of the top guys there.
60:11So, like, I think it's Aminrah and then probably Sam Laporta for me is going to be my second favorite Lions stacking
60:18partner outside of, like, Jameer Gibbs, I guess. So, yeah, that would probably be my approach is to just leave Jamo out of it.
60:26And I was saying this before the season. We have seen that throughout their careers, Sam Laporta has just out-targeted Jamison Williams, had a better role than him.
60:36Basically, every game, every split you can look at where they've both been playing.
60:40Yeah, I think that's just right. I think that's the way to approach it going forward.
60:46I think you actually talked about that on my podcast.
60:49It affected me in best ball. I didn't draft a ton of Jameau with Laporta.
60:54If I got Jameau, I avoided taking Laporta. And so far, I think that that is correct.
61:00It continues to work out that way. One team that I did see allowing a lot of long fantasy points through larger than 20 ADOT is the Ravens.
61:09So we've got George Pickens, we've got CeeDee Lamb, and we've got weird field conditions.
61:14So I don't know if that's going to affect things there.
61:18But what's your level of interest in the Cowboys receivers?
61:21Since you talked about liking Dakabet, do you have a preference between Lamb and Pickens?
61:26You're going to be playing both. Looks like Lamb is 14% here.
61:30Tell me about your interest there. Yeah, 14% actually feels light to me for CeeDee Lamb.
61:36I mentioned XFP per team play as a stat earlier that Parker Washington was top 12.
61:41CeeDee Lamb leads all position players in that stat.
61:44He has got, on a per-play basis, he's gotten a better role than Jameer Gibbs, than Jonathan Taylor, than all these bell cow running backs.
61:52That's legitimately pretty exciting to me. The schematic matchup is likely in Lamb's favor as well.
61:58The Ravens have played a ton of two high this year.
62:02Jesse Minner played a ton of two high with the Chargers over the previous two years.
62:07That seems to be part of his defense's schematic tendency that we can expect to be pretty consistent.
62:13And CeeDee has a much higher target share against two high looks than Pickens does.
62:18It's 31% to 10% this year. Not quite as wide last year, but it really has been CeeDee on a per-route basis
62:25that has been the best into these two high looks.
62:29Even over, yeah, overall of last season. So, I say that, and CeeDee's a great play for all of those reasons.
62:36Pickens has also, like, made me eat my words on that exact take before.
62:40I was, I'm sure I was saying the exact same thing when the Cowboys played Jesse Minner with the Chargers last year.
62:48And Pickens went for seven receptions over 100 yards and a touchdown.
62:52It was like a squeaky wheel game. He, like, hadn't scored a touchdown in a few weeks back then.
62:58There was, like, a squeaky wheel narrative going into the week.
63:02And he just outperformed, like, the schematic matchup where Pickens has always been much worse against two high looks.
63:08That's not super out of character for an X wide receiver that's locked to the boundary.
63:14That's just sort of what those looks tend to do.
63:17So, that makes me, like, a little less bullish on Pickens.
63:21But at the same time, it's kind of, who else are you going to play?
63:26I mean, technically, Javante Williams, Jake Ferguson have higher targets per outrun against two high than Pickens does going back to the start of last year.
63:35But that doesn't, like, get me going. That doesn't win you a tournament, probably.
63:39So, yeah, I think as a one-off, clearly Seedy is where I'm going.
63:44And I'm just kind of begrudgingly playing Pickens, I guess, in the stacks.
63:48Nice. Yeah, I think both seem like pretty reasonable plays, especially if you are playing some stacks there.
63:54Would you ever bring back in those stacks? I see Rashad Bateman coming in at 12% ownership.
64:00Obviously, this is going to be dependent on Zay Flowers' status.
64:03But we saw Bateman kind of go off last week.
64:07And he has not really always gone off with Flowers out.
64:10But last week, you know, Lamar kind of talked about how Bateman was going to get going.
64:16And then he did. So, are you going to be playing any Bateman at 4,700, 12% ownership?
64:22I mean, I think it's fine. The role was there last week.
64:26And as you mentioned, it really hasn't been in a lot of these spots.
64:31Yeah, I don't know. He burned me last week for not playing him.
64:35But if there's ownership, that's like a player I get nervous about playing into ownership, I guess, is what I'd say.
64:42Rashad Bateman. But I don't know. I don't have, like, that great of thoughts on him, honestly.
64:48I haven't given it that much consideration. I think that.
64:51I mean, the price has come up. It feels a little bit gross to go there this week.
64:57But, yeah, I had to throw him out there since we're talking about that game.
65:02You talked about liking Price Young. Do you have a clear preference between Jalen Coker and Ted Arroyd McMillan?
65:09Coker's at 5,500. McMillan's 6,000. They're both getting 10% ownership.
65:12Are you just double stacking with both of them?
65:15How are you playing it? So, assuming health, which maybe we'll get an update on Sunday morning, assuming Coker is healthy and
65:22a full go and everything, I prefer him. This was one of the bigger schematic spots that stood out to me this
65:30week, which is the Browns play this very man-heavy, cover-one-heavy defense.
65:33I wasn't sure that that was going to continue into this year with a new defensive coordinator, but he said that it
65:41would, and it has through two games, so I'm willing to trust it.
65:45But, Jalen Coker, against cover one since he's entered the league, averages 2.7 yards per outrun.
65:51That ranks top 12 among all wide receivers, and that split includes his rookie season when he was a part-time player, not
65:58nearly as involved in the offense as he is now.
66:01It's time for the Cokeheads. This is it. It's an amazing schematic matchup for him.
66:06He also ranks top 6 among all players in XFP per team play.
66:11He's up at over 20 DraftKings fantasy points per game over his last 3, including the playoffs.
66:16Coker's just awesome. I think this is a legitimate 1A, 1B between him and Tedrow and McMillan.
66:22I think both of them are awesome players. But Coker at 500 cheaper when he has seen a bit more work around
66:30the end zone so far this year, I think is pretty intriguing.
66:34But, yeah, honestly, I want to play both of them.
66:37TMAC also, going back to college, has always had really positive splits against man coverage.
66:4224% boost to his targets per outrun against cover one.
66:45So, I just think it's a really natural double stack like we were talking about earlier.
66:51But even taking one-offs for these guys feel really good to me for the pace reasons, the pass rate reasons as well that we mentioned earlier.
66:59And, yeah, I mean, if Coker's out or limited, then I think TMAC, if that's like the news we get Sunday morning
67:07that, like, oh, Coker's going to give it a go.
67:10Anything that's not, like, glowingly, oh, he's full go.
67:13Then I think TMAC is one of the best plays on the slate from that perspective just because he's, I think he's a better player than Coker.
67:22He's in just as good of a spot. Can absolutely take advantage of that.
67:27So, yeah, this is like one to watch on Sunday morning, but both of these guys I have a ton of interest in.
67:35I think I should just kind of open it up to you at this point because we, I mean, we talked about
67:42quarterbacks earlier and then we can get back into, I'm trying to think if there are any other quarterbacks that you loved
67:49that we need to talk about the stacking. But I think I'd kind of just like the open-ended throw it back to you.
67:57Who are the other wide receivers that, you know, you're targeting if you're just playing, you know, three entries or who are
68:05the ones you're targeting to make sure you have in your player pool no matter what.
68:10Producer Trey, can you sort by a salary and scroll up to the top for me really quick?
68:16So, we've got here at the top, it's JSN priced up the most of anyone, 12% projected ownership.
68:22We have Amun Ross, CeeDee Lamb also showing double-digit ownership.
68:25Jamar Chase is just sitting here at 8,100, single-digit ownership.
68:29I have a hard time believing that's even going to be the case.
68:33But if he is the lowest owned of all of these high-end wide receivers, I'm going to play Chase in my three maxes.
68:41Because I think this is an awesome, awesome spot for him.
68:45We have seen the Steelers defensive coordinator is Patrick Graham.
68:48He was with the Raiders last year. He's been one of the most cover three heavy DCs in the NFL.
68:55He's played it on at least a third of his dropbacks in 15 out of his last 19 games.
69:01Just very consistent, right? It's not often that we get this good of a spot for Jamar Chase.
69:07Ten games over the last three years where the Bengals have faced over a third cover three.
69:13Chase averages 26 DraftKings points per game in those spots.
69:16He has multiple 40 burgers. It's five more points per game than any other wide receiver over that span.
69:22And we see his targets per route run go up to 39%.
69:27A 39% target per route run rate. Against cover three.
69:30Dating back to last season. He just gets spammed the ball over and over against it.
69:35It comes out of T Higgins and Chase Brown's receiving workload.
69:39And I think it's a little bit of like an underrated game environment as well.
69:44Like Bengals and Steelers offenses certainly haven't lived up to expectations so far this year.
69:49But both are top five in pass rate over expectation.
69:52If things just kind of click for the Steelers.
69:55If they push it all. I could see this game getting out of hand pretty easily.
70:01And yeah Chase is just always live to nuke.
70:04Even outside of any of these like schematic considerations.
70:07That yeah if that's his ownership. He's one of my favorite wide receiver plays on the slate.
70:13Yeah it's interesting because like you know looking at it on its face does not appear to be a great matchup.
70:20With Pittsburgh. But yeah maybe maybe more interesting than it appears on its face.
70:24Love love that type of play. Who else are you?
70:28I mean you just not nothing. It's a JSN.
70:31Do you think he's going to continue scoring what two three touchdowns every single game?
70:36Is that just inevitable? Yeah as JSN going to continue averaging like eight yards per out run.
70:41I don't know if that's even real but it probably is with JSN.
70:46And I mean maybe yeah he's a player you can never rule out very clearly.
70:51My take has always been I prefer him more in the closer games.
70:55That was one of my biggest stats from last week.
70:59And we we played JSN last week and it certainly worked out last week.
71:03Not that the game even needed to stay close for it too.
71:07But yeah I mean I think he's solid but just it's just a little tough.
71:12Like are you going to pay 8600 for JSN?
71:15Are you going to pay 88 for Jameer Gibbs?
71:18I think I'm going to come on the Jameer Gibbs side of that equation most of the time.
71:24But yeah certainly a player that's like scary to be under the field on at any given point.
71:30Chris Olave just why why won't they price him up Neil?
71:34Why is he still only 7200? Can you do you have any do you have like a line to draft kings to get this answer for us?
71:43Because I it's keeping me up at night. Yeah I do I do notice people at draft kings.
71:49Maybe maybe I'll I'll DM and see if I can get an answer to why they won't price up Chris Olave.
71:56Yeah he's just an insanely good play. It it's to the point where Olave is never priced to where he should be
72:04where since Rashid Shaheed got traded last year. He's just been top three but in every wide receiver metric expected fancy points per game.
72:12Draft kings fantasy points per game even his yard per out run efficiency is like up this year.
72:18It's not just an empty volume scam. It's like actually kind of working.
72:22So yeah he's an awesome play and he's one that I feel like we forget about every week because he's an awesome play every single week.
72:31And sometimes I don't get enough of him for that reason.
72:35But yeah I think he's great and is like up there with it with any of these other more expensive receivers.
72:42I think he's a better play than at like at salary and ownership.
72:46Give me Olave over St. Brown. Give me Olave over JSN.
72:50Give me Olave over Justin Jefferson. All of those guys.
72:53So yeah I think he's really strong. Yeah so you're buying into the Saints stacks and we talked about Shuck already.
73:00Kind of natural to get to Olave as primary stacking partner there as well.
73:05Who else is on your list of must plays?
73:08Let me think. I don't know that I have a ton more guys.
73:12We already talked about Aidy Mitchell a good bit which I think is just not that he's a must play.
73:19But just in the sense that I wish I could have a stronger opinion on him.
73:24Aidy Mitchell famously gave me TMJ. Which for those who don't know it's like a jaw condition from like clenching your jaw too much.
73:32It's like from stress. At the end of 2024 we went all in on Aidy Mitchell at like as a site at Fantasy Points.
73:40In our projections, in our content and everything. And I believe that was the week that he threw the touchdown out of the back of the end zone.
73:50Rather than just holding it and scoring it and scoring.
73:53He just threw it away at the one yard line.
73:57And ever since then I've said I have had like my jaw issue.
74:01My TMJ issue. I had to get up fitted for a mouth guard.
74:05So like every time I get jaw pain I just think of Aidy Mitchell.
74:10Yeah he projects as an awesome point per dollar value.
74:13We just talked about the matchup angles and everything.
74:16But yeah am I playing him as a one off?
74:20Probably not. With the club hand you got to keep in mind with Aidy Mitchell.
74:25Yeah the club hand. The wide receiver that already can't catch.
74:28Yeah it's rough there. Yeah I don't know. You can ask me about guys if there's anyone else you have in mind.
74:36But I think we've done a decent job here at wide receiver.
74:40I see Trey Tucker mentioned in your article. Is Trey Tucker a target of yours?
74:45He is for game stacks. Also I wrote up my article when I wasn't exactly sure where ownership was going to land.
74:52It looks like the Saints stacks aren't going to be too popular.
74:56But I do think if you're trying to get different in those.
75:00Then Tucker at least makes some sense. He's not going to project super well for the price.
75:06He's 5k. So yeah this is only as like a bring back for the Raiders.
75:11If you don't want to play Ashton Jenty. Or can't fit him for whatever reason.
75:16But yeah really the idea is Trey Tucker should be.
75:19And he has been the only Raiders wide receiver.
75:23With anything close to a full time route share.
75:26He's the one staying on the field when they go into 12 personnel.
75:30Which I expect them to do a lot more this week with Brock Bowers back.
75:35Tucker has been the one getting the downfield usage.
75:38We talk about this Clint Kubiak deep play action cheat code.
75:42That was part of what made JSN so special last year.
75:45Clearly JSN has been fine even without it. But yeah like you could squint and see Tucker getting used on these deep balls.
75:53As like an impoverished man's JSN. Just kind of benefiting from what Kubiak likes to do offensively.
75:59We've seen the big play upside from him. Leads the team in area yard share.
76:04It's a strong schematic matchup for Trey Tucker. But yeah at 5k again probably only a game stack thing for me.
76:11But I think he's interesting if you're playing a bunch of Tyler Shuck.
76:15All right I think that the one final spot that we need to hit on is.
76:21We talked about Josh Allen and the bills. We have DJ Moore is questionable still.
76:26And he was in a red non-contact jersey at practice today.
76:29And then we have Keon Coleman also questionable. So it's a big maybe we don't need to talk about it in depth.
76:37Because it is we don't really know what the situation is going to be yet.
76:42For the bills. But if assuming everybody plays. Is it just DJ Moore you're going to?
76:47If DJ Moore is out. Is it Kolo Shakir?
76:50Or are you just going to Dalton and Kate in that case?
76:54Do you have interest in any of the bills wide receivers?
76:58I have interest in Moore if he plays. I'm a DJ Moore hater.
77:02I have been for a few years. All of his per route data has been absolutely terrible.
77:08For like most of the last couple of seasons.
77:11I was a skeptic coming into the year. But it's a little hard to argue with.
77:16When you include all of the plays called back from penalties.
77:20So in the data suite 2.0. We have a nice filter for that.
77:24Where you can just include all no plays in your data.
77:28And when you do that. DJ Moore is up at a 26% target per outrun rate.
77:33That would be the same as Chris Olave and Christian Watson this year.
77:38Which is extremely strong. Better than we've seen from him really at any point.
77:43Even going back to when he was with the Panthers.
77:46When I was a DJ Moore fan. And he ranks top 12 in air yards per game.
77:52If you include all of those no plays that were called back.
77:56Despite only running 12 routes in week 2. So this is a potentially insanely valuable downfield role for DJ Moore.
78:02In this Bills offense that we just spent a bunch of time talking up.
78:07So yeah. I think you have to have interest if he's playing.
78:11Keyon Coleman you can probably miss me with. Kind of regardless.
78:15Yeah. Not someone I'm interested in there. But I.
78:18But we'll get to tight end. I feel like I have more tight end takes than any.
78:24Than at any position this week. But yeah. Dalton.
78:27Spoiler. Dalton Kincaid is one of my favorite plays on the slate.
78:31Okay. I kind of thought that might be the case.
78:34Since yeah. The wide receivers kind of question marks.
78:37Dalton Kincaid does not feel like a question mark.
78:40Let's move on to tight ends. Talk about the chalk.
78:43And then we have Mark Andrews. At the top.
78:4618% projected ownership. Dalton Schultz. 16% after he saw a billion targets last week.
78:51Travis Kelsey. 15%. So let's start with those three.
78:54Because they're kind of separating. In terms of ownership.
78:57Are you going to be playing the olds. The old tight ends.
79:01At the top in ownership this week. I think the best play on here.
79:06Is Travis Kelsey. We skipped over the Chiefs wide receivers.
79:09But I can kind of talk about it all right now.
79:13Kelsey to me. Has by far the best matchup.
79:16Against the Dolphins. This week. Because they have gone extremely blitz heavy.
79:20Over their first two games. I went on kind of a rant.
79:24In advanced matchups. Talking about. How that's been different.
79:27In part from what Jeff Halfley. Has historically done.
79:30On early downs. But he's always blitzed a lot.
79:33On later downs. The Chiefs dropped back a ton.
79:36Anyway. On early downs. Like. I think it could continue.
79:39To where. They just have one of the highest.
79:42Blitz rates again. In week three. And if that's the case.
79:46Then. Travis Kelsey's yards per out run. Goes up over three.
79:50Against the blitz. Even going back to the start of last season.
79:54Only Trey McBride. Sees a higher target share. Than Kelsey.
79:57Against the blitz. Among all tight ends. We've seen Kelsey's role.
80:01Really be the one. To benefit the most. From this kind of new look.
80:06Chiefs offense. Where. Rather than wasting. All of these.
80:09Screen targets. On Rashi Rice. They are now. Running the ball more.
80:13Using. Doing some screen targets. To Ken Walker. Doing some unsuccessful.
80:16Ons to Xavier Worthy. Largely. And. In terms of just a straight drop back.
80:21Like actual. Receiver. First read. Target share. And everything.
80:24Travis Kelsey has just been the one. To step into the void.
80:28Left by Rashi Rice. Kelsey's first read. Target share.
80:31Up to 25.5%. This year. It was down below 20% last year.
80:35He's. Yeah. He's so underpriced. I think if. If I'm going to a Chiefs.
80:40To a Chiefs receiver. This week. It's Kelsey. Worthy scares me.
80:44Just in that. So much of his projection. Is around.
80:47The designed work. It's around the. Work. Around the end zone.
80:51And everything. And that. I feel like. That can get taken away.
80:55So quickly. Like it got taken away. From Rashi Rice.
80:58So quickly. Yeah. Worthy with ownership. Worries me. Kelsey.
81:01Really doesn't. So yeah. Of any of these. Chalky tight ends.
81:05If I'm playing one. I'm playing him. Okay. And you're.
81:08So he's your favorite. Of the. Okay. Of that top three.
81:12I mean. Trey McBride. 6,700. 9% ownership. I feel like we always have to talk about.
81:17Trey McBride. Is he just. In every week play.
81:20At this point. Until he gets to like 8,000.
81:23Or are you fading. The. The price there. I mean.
81:27Yeah. Basically. There's nothing new to say about Trey McBride.
81:30You just play him every week. Until he's too expensive.
81:33Easy game. All right. I think that is enough to say about.
81:37Trey McBride. Because yeah. He's only. He's only 6,700.
81:40Still somehow. You talked about. Dalton Kincaid. But let me just open it up to you.
81:46Who are your favorite. Tight end plays. Since you have.
81:49It sounds like several. That you like quite a bit.
81:52Who else do you like at tight end? Dalton Kincaid.
81:56I'll start with him. Against two high looks. So I think I mentioned earlier.
82:00The Chargers. Play a lot of two high looks.
82:04Dalton Kincaid. Averages. A 31% target. Per outrun rate.
82:07That's the second most of any wide receiver. Behind only Amon Ross St.
82:11Brown. Over the past three seasons. This guy. Is an efficiency breaker.
82:15He's a model breaker. He's a math breaker. Every week.
82:18We. Like. Do our initial run of projections. And every week.
82:22It's just like. Hey. Dalton Kincaid's too low. Because.
82:25The projection model thinks that he shouldn't have. A three yard per outrun.
82:29But like he should. And he just does. And he has.
82:33For so long. This year. He. The bet hit.
82:36Really. He just. Is playing enough routes now. Where.
82:39Over his last nine games. Above a 50% route share.
82:42He averages 16. DraftKings fantasy points. He's gone over 19.
82:46In four of those nine. That's the same as Trey McBride.
82:50Who is 1200. Less expensive than. I. I just love.
82:53Dalton Kincaid. As a play. It's. Happens. In terms of the bills.
82:57Wide receivers playing. That could. Shift things. But. Yeah.
83:00Right now. Showing 5%. That's one of my favorite plays on the slate.
83:04Dalton Kincaid. You can put. You play him. As a single stack with Josh Allen.
83:09You can just play Dalton Kincaid. To me. That's worth it.
83:13He's priced up relative to tight ends. But. Yeah.
83:16If you think of him as a wide receiver.
83:19At 5500. That's. What? Like the wide receiver. 20.
83:22Or something. Somewhere around that. That. That's super worth it to me.
83:26So. Yeah. Awesome. Smash spot. For Dalton Kincaid. Isaiah likely.
83:29Is my favorite. Jameis Winston stacking partner. I was a skeptic.
83:33On. Likely. Coming into the year. But he. He has just.
83:37Shown. Or at least the Giants. Have just shown us.
83:40That this is what they want. His role to be.
83:4433%. First read target share. This year. Second best behind.
83:47Only Trey McBride. At the position. Close to 17.
83:50Expected. Fantasy points per game. That would be. Ninth best.
83:53Among slate. Eligible wide receivers. He's priced as the wide receiver.
83:5736. So likely. Another guy. Kind of. Expensive relative.
84:00To the tight ends. But relative to wide receivers.
84:03On this slate. Not really. The volume has been awesome.
84:06Yeah. If you're playing. A giant. With. Jameis Winston.
84:09With Malik neighbors. Kind of banged up. Potentially being.
84:12More of a decoy. That's not like. Totally confirmed.
84:16But it seems possible. He. Left. Last week's game.
84:19With a. Dislocated shoulder. He's had shoulder. Injuries. Going back to college.
84:23Of course. Still. Coming back from. His ACL injury.
84:26His average separation. Score metrics. Have been way down.
84:29Over the first two weeks. Which is somewhat expected.
84:32As he. Works his way back. So. Not totally clear.
84:35Whether Malik neighbors. Is. At full health. Is just a decoy.
84:39This week. That I think that just means. We continue to hammer.
84:43Isaiah likely. At least in those. Jameis stacks. Probably last tight end.
84:47I. Want to make sure. I bring up. Is a Rondé Gadsen.
84:51It's finally time. People are not excited enough. About.
84:54A Rondé Gadsen. I. 3,500. That pretty much. Takes every other.
84:57Punt tight end. Off of my board. This week.
85:01Because I would just. Rather play. A Rondé Gadsen.
85:04In every circumstance. Ran a route on. 90% of the charges.
85:07Dropbacks. In. The fourth quarter. Last week. After David Njoku.
85:11After Charlie Kohler. Left. If the role is even.
85:14Close to that. He's an absolute smash. Gadsen averaged.
85:1716 and a half. DraftKings fantasy points. Per game.
85:20In games above. A 75% route share. As a rookie.
85:23We have seen. Mike McDaniel. His. Kind of cure.
85:26To. An offense. That's struggling. Every single year. Has been.
85:29I'm going to scheme up. A bunch of touches.
85:32For my. Pass catching. Only tight end. We're going to.
85:36Abandon the run game. We're going to abandon. Trying to block everybody.
85:40We're just going to. Do this. PPR scam. To Darren Waller.
85:44And John. Smith. Those two guys. Are. Top five.
85:47Tight end. Over their last. 17. Healthy games. With McDaniel.
85:50And he's just going to be. Forced to play.
85:53Gadsden this week. So. Yeah. Give me all. The Ronda.
85:56Gadsden. At 3,500. Lad. McConkie. Also a decent play.
85:59I think you mentioned. Earlier. That you weren't sure.
86:02In terms of what to do. With Chargers. Bringbacks.
86:05I think it's really clear. I think Gadsden's an awesome play.
86:09And I think Lad. Is. At least worth the risk.
86:12In terms of. Him. Just getting back to the role.
86:16We saw in week one. I. The Chargers. Are still.
86:19Like a top 10 offense. With Lad. On the field.
86:22A top. Or a bottom. Three offense. With Lad.
86:25Off the field. I. He. Was. In week two.
86:29Wearing a flak jacket. But he practiced fully. All week.
86:32I think it's back to wheels up. For Lad.
86:35McConkie. So. Those two guys. Are awesome to me.
86:38Really love that game. I think it's a great game.
86:41To stack up. Very sad. For the. The Kohler.
86:44Kohler Express. Is fully derailed. At this point. Not on.
86:48Not on IR. I guess. So we do have that going for us.
86:52But. Yeah. The Gadsden people. How they're going to get there.
86:56With both Kohler. And Njoku. Being hurt right now.
86:59Yeah. I think Gadsden. Really strong play. At 4% ownership.
87:023,500. Tough to argue with that. What do you think?
87:05Are we ready to. Start making some lineups? Yeah.
87:08Unless there's anyone else you want to. Ask about or bring up.
87:13That. Those were the guys on my mind. At tight end.
87:16So. Yeah. We can. We can build a lineup.
87:19Yeah. I'm going to take a quick look at.
87:22See if there's any other. Tight ends that I.
87:25Need to hear about. I mean. Jawan Johnson. At 3,700.
87:29I think you can certainly include him. In. In.
87:32Tyler Shuck. Stacks. But I. I guess. One other name that I.
87:36I'd like your opinion on. Pat Frymouth. Because. Because we have.
87:39Continued to see. Tight ends against Cincinnati. Don't. Schultz last week.
87:43Against Cincinnati. It's been as long as I've been alive.
87:46Tight ends against Cincinnati. It feels like it shouldn't be a thing anymore.
87:51Because the defense is. Is better. But. Are we just going to continue to do tight end.
87:56Against Cincinnati. Frymouth does not actually project that well.
88:00But. But I want to throw that name out there.
88:03I am. I love Frymouth. I think he's also an amazing play.
88:07Glad you brought him up. Yeah. He's. So far.
88:10His role this year. Has been like. Fringe. Top 10.
88:13Tight end. By. Expected fantasy points. Targets per game.
88:16All. All of the usage data. He's priced slightly below that.
88:20As the tight end 14. But. Yeah. As you bring up.
88:24I think. It's happening again. With the Bengals. I think it's still the case.
88:28That. They are. The best defense to play tight ends against.
88:32By a significant margin. Since. The start of last year.
88:3520.7. DraftKings fantasy points per game. Allowed to tight ends.
88:39That's. 19% more. Than any other defense. In any other season.
88:43Since 2021. At least. I. It's. Just. Seems to be the case.
88:47Yeah. Dalton Schultz last week. Even Kate Auton was.
88:50More involved than Kate Auton. Probably should be. Against the Bengals in week one.
88:54I think that's just what we're getting. I. So yeah.
88:58Fryermuth has. An amazing matchup. We talked about the Bengals being an underneath funnel.
89:02Two with Jalen Warren. That's another note going into Pat Fryermuth's favor.
89:06Yeah. I mean. Give me anyone to play other than DK freaking Metcalf on this team.
89:12And I'm going to get somewhat interested. So. Yeah.
89:15He's. Patty Fry's cheap enough. Kind of. Kind of a fun.
89:18Mini stack. You could do with Jamar Chase. Maybe.
89:21Yeah. He's. He's good. I like him a lot.
89:24Okay. Yeah. The one other name that I see on the list here.
89:29Just because. Because Mason Taylor is out. Then you.
89:32Are you willing to play any Kenyan Sadiq? Or is it.
89:36Is it too early in his career? Are they not going to give him enough run this week?
89:42Yeah. I. I don't have any confidence in the role.
89:45Really. So I'm probably good on Sadiq. All right.
89:48Let's. Let's make some lineups. Let's do it. And I'll.
89:51Uh. Would you like the first honor of choosing the stack that we start with?
89:56The first lineup or the second lineup? Uh. Let's do the first one.
90:01I really want to do a Josh Allen lineup with Dalton Kincaid.
90:05And we can work out how to do, how to build the rest of it from there.
90:10Okay. And then you already mentioned that you like lad McConkie.
90:14You like around. So get around to Gadsden as potential bring backs.
90:18But, uh, let's, let's hold off on those for now.
90:22Um. So let me throw a running back in here.
90:25And we're, I mean, we're already, we're spending a lot of money with Josh Allen and Dalton Kincaid.
90:31So I feel like we probably need to save a little bit at running back.
90:36Um. I think I'm, I'm sounds like I'm maybe a little bit more into him than you are going to Jalen Warren
90:43and he is questionable, but it sounds like he's good to go.
90:47Um, I'm going to throw Jalen Warren in there because you, you had some interest at least.
90:53Right. Yeah. Yeah. Like the, the only holes I'm poking it is like he he's chalk and it's Jalen Warren is kind
91:01of what it comes down to when, yeah, when not like a top five talent running back in the league is one
91:08of the top three chalkiest on a bad offense.
91:11It's easy to say, but like, yeah, it's a good play.
91:15The volume is going to be there more than likely.
91:18All right. Who do you want to add to this one?
91:22Um, well, if we're doing Jalen Warren, we have.
91:25We have over 5k left per player. Um, let's just add lad to this one.
91:30And then, um, if we're paying down at running back, like I, I think the other, like choose your own adventure of
91:37this is, is like, and maybe tell me if this is stupid or if you think this is genius, it is just
91:45doing double tight end, uh, Kincaid Gadsden. And then you, and then you could probably even pay up to running backs in
91:52a Josh Allen lineup, which, which sounds fun. But I think this is also really strong and works, but yeah, it's just like two pads to take.
92:01Yeah. I mean, definitely viable. I think it is.
92:04Yeah. Neither, neither stupid nor genius to go double tight.
92:07I feel like people forever tried to like say, Oh, you can't play double tight end.
92:13Like it's a bad process, whatever. And I always kind of disagree with that.
92:17And I feel like the, the Sims and recent what's been winning recently has been a lot of double tight end.
92:25Uh, so that's certainly a way that we could go, but let's, let's see if we can make this work first.
92:32Um, and let me see if I can find any cheap wide receivers, uh, that we talked about.
92:38I feel like we, we didn't talk about any that are like super cheap that I remember outside of like Rashad Bateman,
92:45who you seem kind of iffy on. Um, yeah, so maybe do you have a name in here that you like?
92:52I'm trying to, I swear I had a cheap wide receiver that I really liked and it's escaping me right now.
92:59Let me scroll through my notes and try to, and try to help you out.
93:04Is this somebody that we talked about? I don't believe so.
93:08And we probably didn't talk about him because I just forgot about him.
93:12Um, well, while you're doing that, I think I'm just going to throw in Parker Washington because we, we agree that he is just too cheap at 6,000.
93:22He's not going to see the Christian Gonzalez coverage.
93:25Um, and he's, you know, yeah, again, relatively cheap.
93:28We still have 47 25 left for play per player with a wide receiver spot, running back spot flex and defense left to go.
93:36Yeah. I like that. Um, yeah, damn, I guess my, uh, yeah, we didn't really talk about cheap wide receivers much.
93:43Um, I think the one I have the most interest in is I, I guess oddly enough, and maybe against my better
93:50judgment is the Browns guys, which we didn't talk about at all.
93:54Uh, but like Denzel Boston at 4,500 Casey Concepcion, even at 4,300, uh, in pro probably like a less favorable downfield role.
94:02But the, the first read targets have been there right with Boston.
94:06I've been running more routes than Jerry Judy in week two Concepcion.
94:10Uh, one of the prospects that I, and a lot of people at fantasy points were some of the highest on.
94:17So I, I do kind of like doing it.
94:20And we're, I mean, I'm big on Jalen Coker, Ted McMillan to do doing a mini there could be fun, uh, with
94:27like Coker plus Denzel Boston, uh, or, or any version of that kind of.
94:32All right. Well, let's see. Um, we could see if we can make that work.
94:37It's going to be tough because we'll need a really cheap running back, I think.
94:42Uh, so we could throw in for now. I'm going to try it.
94:46Let's try Coker is 5,500. And then if we throw in, you say Denzel Boston, 4,500.
94:52Yeah. Where's Boston? Oh, there he is. Um, and then if we do, let me see what we can do as far as like throwing in a defense.
95:01Um, and we, we have not talked about defenses at all, but let's see.
95:06We could try like a little bit rough at the bottom for defense.
95:10It is. Okay. We could do Tennessee against Jamis Titans against Jamis seems like a pretty decent spot.
95:16Perfect. Yeah. Uh, and then we have 6,500 for our final, uh, could do Brees Hall, Bucky Irving.
95:22Chuba. Do you, uh, particularly like any of those options?
95:26Um, not particularly. Chuba would be the favorite, but that's, I don't, I don't know how great that is with Coker and Boston.
95:33Yeah. I, so I have one more cheap wide receiver that we could try.
95:38Um, I don't know what to get us to.
95:41And, and I don't, I'm not in love with the play, but I'm like sort of four large field GPP is interested in Jalen Noel.
95:49Um, just from the perspective of the Colts have been really bad about wide receivers, but they've been especially bad against, it's
95:57really just really bad against slot receivers. Like slot receivers have absolutely crushed against, uh, the Colts so far this year.
96:04And Jalen Noel, uh, running the most from the slot.
96:07So I like, I have some interest there, but he, like his role isn't good enough that like, obviously they, they faced a flowers in the slot.
96:16They faced the chiefs, uh, running multiple receivers, uh, in the slot, but could do that.
96:22But, uh, I don't know. It's let's see. Uh, super Neil last play love that you brought him up.
96:28Uh, I wrote Jalen Noel's name in my notes earlier this week and I deleted him because I thought it was too
96:35thin because I'm not necessarily writing for, uh, yeah.
96:38Like super large field, 150 max stuff. But I, I mean, I, yeah, sure.
96:43What's his price. It's there. Is it under third?
96:46I want to say 3,700. Let's see. Yeah. I mean, Nico Collins confirmed out Jalen Noel's routes came up some, it's still,
96:54it wasn't to the point where I was like, okay, full-time player, we can like bank on it.
97:00But if you want to put them in a lineup, I'm not going to be mad about it.
97:06Jalen, I think Jalen Noel's awesome. Uh, it gets us to Kenneth Walker at the second running spot.
97:12Sure. Do it. Let's. Yeah. All right. You've convinced me now.
97:15Yeah. Kenneth Walker. I mean, it's a little bit thin.
97:19Like he does not have an amazing role or anything, but again, they've just, they've, uh, slot receiver is absolutely dominant against the Colts so far this year.
97:28Um, so yeah. All right. And it gets Kenneth Walker.
97:31Love that. So let's, let's roll with this. I think this works.
97:35Josh Allen with the Dalton Kincaid bring back of lad McConkey.
97:39Then we've got Jalen Warren, Kenneth Walker, Parker, Washington, Jalen Coker.
97:43We'd no longer have the one V one with Coker.
97:46Um, but then we have Jalen Noel and the Titans defense uses the full salary.
97:51Let's roll with it. Oh, check in location. Is it going to work?
97:56Oh no. It usually does. I think it's not going to let you submit that million dollar lineup.
98:02Neil. There we go. It worked. It worked. It's letting us, it's letting us win the Millie.
98:07All right, let's do, let's do one more. Um, and now I will, let's see what stack do I want to start with?
98:15Could go golf. Could go, let's just do that.
98:18Let's just do Bryce Young double stack. Love it.
98:21Um, T Matt Coker. Different. So now we're going a lot cheaper.
98:25Yeah. Let's do. Let's do the Jamar chase Pat fryer move mini.
98:29Nice. Okay. And then we can, yeah, probably eat chalk at running back or whatever you want to do.
98:36But yeah. Yeah. Uh, well let's, I'll throw in a defense here just so we get a better idea of what we're actually dealing with.
98:44Um, money wise. Let's see. We could go Tampa against Kyler.
98:48Um, what else? I'm like part, I'm sort of interested in playing Dallas or Baltimore defense just because it could be such
98:55a slot fest, but I also think those, those, uh, offenses are so good that, you know, don't feel super strongly about that.
99:03Could just go Carolina against Cleveland again. I mean, Carolina worked out pretty well last week.
99:08Yeah. What's are the Vikings price like all the way up?
99:12I was only at 3,100 there. Yeah. Vikings versus Tampa is also pretty good.
99:17Should we just do that? We do Vikings and Aaron Jones.
99:20Undo Vikings and Aaron could do. Yes. Yeah. Let's do that.
99:24That sounds great. Yeah. Save us some money at running back.
99:28And then. Yep. So now we could play an expensive running back.
99:32And then, I mean, if we play Gibbs, we only have 3,200 left.
99:36So that's not ideal. Um, but if we play more of a mid price running back, we can play a decent flex.
99:43What are you thinking? Uh, what's genti 71. So that'd be 49.
99:47Uh, I don't know if that's enough. Uh, do you want to see our options at flex at 49?
99:54Let's see. QJ. Uh, these wide receiver prices. It's only week three, man.
99:58But it's gotten, it's gotten rough. Yeah. Bateman likely is there.
100:02Like he's there. Um, Devon Ville is, I think in the 4k range.
100:06He's 4,400. Leads all wide receivers and routes. Um, I don't think he's that good, but if it's, uh, just a, yeah.
100:14If, if the saints are going to run a shitload of plays like they do every week, it could benefit.
100:20I don't, yeah. I don't know that I love him.
100:24I mean, then you get up to Walker or Taylor too.
100:27Like, yeah. Um, yeah. I, I, you can take V lay out if you don't like that play.
100:33I feel like I, I, that one feels gross to me, but we could throw Gadsden in here.
100:40See, see what that gets us to. Okay. I like that.
100:43That gets us up to double tight end action.
100:46McCaffrey. Yeah. I mean, if, if you don't love it, we can do something else.
100:51Can we, can we pay down at 300 at defense and get Gibbs or, or no, how much?
100:57It wouldn't be Gibbs. 200 more. Let's see if we play Gibbs, then we're down to 2,800 at defense.
101:04Uh, so that could be, I mean, bills against, uh, at home against Justin Herbert and that bad charges offense, uh, Baltimore against Dallas.
101:12Plus if you want to lean into the slot fest there, Tampa against Kyler.
101:16Tampa against Kyler feels pretty good to me. Yeah.
101:20I don't hate that. And then we have two.
101:23Yeah. That's a beauty. We have Aaron Jones. We can't play Tampa.
101:27Oh, that is true. I mean, we can, it's still, it's still loud.
101:31Uh, but if you say so, also we, we, uh, we played Aaron Jones thinking we're going to play the Vikings defense.
101:38So we could, if we wanted to get up to, uh, the bring back of, I don't know, Chuba wouldn't be a
101:46bring back, but he add onto the stack there.
101:49Um, or David Montgomery. I don't know, but I think it's fine to play box defense against Aaron Jones.
101:55Okay. I, I, that's like in my head, that's like thing you don't do in DFS, but you're the millionaire and I'm not.
102:03So let's do it. Let's do it. I like it.
102:06I mean, it's not my, like, again, usually hand building.
102:10It's not something I try to do, but, uh, it is something like using Sims more and more.
102:16I'm like, yeah, I think that's probably fine. All right, cool.
102:19Let's run it. I love, I love, I love this lineup then.
102:23Uh, Trey, Trey throughout. We could have done Titans in the nor'easter.
102:27That's actually a good idea too. Titans against, against, uh, which I guess we did that with our last one, right?
102:34Against Jameis Winston. Yep. Yeah. So there you go.
102:37Sounds like a good play as, as good of a play as I think Jameis is, uh, the Titans defense also sounds pretty good to me.
102:46Yeah. I like that. So this one, we went Bryce Young with Jalen Coker, Teddero at McMillan, no bring backs.
102:53But we have Jameer Gibbs, Aaron Jones, uh, Jamar Chase, many with Pat Friermuth, both Aranda Gadsden and the Bucks defense.
103:00So there you go. I think those are, those are two strong lineups for the Millie maker.
103:06We're going to get out of here. Ryan, uh, what, what else do you have, uh, that people should look out for?
103:13Yeah. You can go and read advanced matchups right now on fantasypoints.com.

103:53And I will of course have my, uh, Sunday night football article behind the paywall at fantasy points.
