0:00Hello and welcome to Episode 1015 of the official Establish The Run podcast.
0:04My name is Adam Levitan and I have heard the complaints.
0:08The people are upset that the show they could not fathom living without, Market Monday, has not run in the last two weeks.
0:15So, as men of the people, we thought we would do a buy or sell kind of show here today on some
0:22of the more controversial players for the 2026 fantasy football season.
0:25Joining me today for this exercise are three young men you know and love, Evan Silva, former and current king of the Twitter streets.
0:33How's it going? It's going great. It's going great.
0:36One of my most viewed and liked tweets of this run-up was just me quote-tweeting Silva's tweet saying that he's back.
0:43Incredible. First tweet back goes viral. Anyways, does it feel good to be back, Evan, amongst the people on Twitter?
0:49I'm honestly asking. Nothing has changed. Also joining us today, the king of the season-long bros, John Daigle.
0:55How's it going today? Everything being updated around the clock every single day.
0:59As Silva said, nothing has changed. Mark Dankenbring, one of the leads on our projections team.
1:04Mark, how's it going? It's going great. I mean, talking ball with Daigle, Silva, and Levitan.
1:09What could get better than that? All right. On today's show, we are going to hit 15 of the toughest players for us to rank this year.
1:18Some are recent risers. Some are recent fallers. Some are guys getting buzzed right now.
1:22The goal here is for this to be like a Market Monday, except with four of us, and hitting on a lot
1:29of guys that we have not talked about already this offseason.
1:33Please note, for ADP for this exercise, we are using Yahoo Redraft XRank.
1:37That is the way that the rankings are set up in the Yahoo app.
1:42By the way, if you have DraftKit, you've read, hopefully, the exploiting articles for Yahoo, ESPN, and Sleeper.
1:47If you have a choice, you should want to draft on ESPN or Sleeper, not Yahoo, if you have a choice.
1:54Anyways, speaking of drafts, if you have your league draft coming up, I'm obviously biased, but I could not fathom doing it without the ETR draft kit.
2:03At a minimum, you know we put an incredible amount of thought and effort into every single spot.
2:08We haven't missed a single injury or coach quote or depth chart change.
2:12For me, just having rankings I know that are extremely solid and up to date is a huge part of the battle.
2:19And then everything else we have in draft kit, which is frankly a ton, is gravy.
2:24So head to establishtherun.com, check out the draft kit.
2:27Again, that's the draft kit on establishtherun.com. All right, let's get into it here, boys.
2:32Going to do this in ADP order. First name on the list is Kyron Williams.
2:37Current ADP on Yahoo. I'm sorry, current default rank on Yahoo is 27 overall.
2:41I know Silva argued this one on man versus machine.
2:45So I'm actually going to mark first on the inputs here on Kyron Williams.
2:49Because the first thing that people say when they say, oh, Kyron goes too high is you guys don't realize Blake Corum is going to play a ton.
2:58So Mark, maybe you can talk to people about how much Blake Corum were giving in the projections and how that's affecting Kyron.
3:05Absolutely. Yeah. And I think another claim is that Blake Corum started to take more from Kyron Williams as the season went along.
3:13So, you know, on week seven on from last season, Kyron had a 60 to 40 advantage in carries over Blake Corum.
3:20We actually have that tightened up in the season long projections.
3:23We're closer to like a 55-45 split just kind of baking in that Corum could eat more into Kyron Williams this season.
3:30But for me, you know, I'm still fine drafting Kyron Williams in the third round, which is that 27th overall ADP.
3:37And it comes down to the high value touches.
3:40So Kyron pretty much doubled up Corum in the red zone last year when it came to carries.
3:45Kyron had 51 carries inside the 20. Blake Corum, 26.
3:48Inside the 10-yard line, it was Kyron 30 carries.
3:51Corum, 16. And inside the 5-yard line, it was Kyron 18 carries.
3:55And Corum, 9. So very consistently, Kyron is getting, you know, essentially double the high value touches inside the red zone there.
4:02And then when you look at targets, it's even more skewed towards Kyron.
4:06And this includes the playoffs, but Kyron had 60 targets last season.
4:10Blake Corum had 19. Kyron had 350 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns.
4:14Blake Corum had 73 receiving yards and 0 touchdowns.
4:17So when it comes down to Kyron in terms of the high value touches, I think we're well factoring in the split here.
4:24And Kyron is certainly someone, you know, we expect the Rams to be a high-scoring top 5 offense in the NFL this season.
4:31So if Kyron's getting the touches inside the 5-yard line as well as the receiving work, I'm totally fine investing in that fantasy profile.
4:39Yeah, I mean, Rams projected to score the most points in the NFL along with the Bills and the Lions there in the top 3.
4:47The thing for me, Daigle, has been I take Brees a lot over Kyron.
4:51And I can see looking back at that and being like, I can't believe, because I think Brees is a better player.
4:58And I think Brees' role was better, both of them.
5:02But I can see looking back at that in Week 8 and being like, I can't believe that I was taking a
5:09Jets running back over the Rams feature back. So, Daigle, where are you at on Kyron here at 27 overall?
5:15Historically, Sean McVay has leaned on one running back.
5:18But it's like Mark said, before the team's bye, Kyron was at 74% of the team's backfield touches.
5:24Got eaten into after that for a 60% touch share, including the postseason, when they returned from their bye.
5:30Not to mention, to me, it's just a hard bet at that second, third-round turn because of the outlook of the offense.
5:37We expect them to score points. But when you talk about Brees Hall and the receiving backs, those are still the bets
5:44I want to make on receiving profiles. Whereas this Rams offense, and even historically under Sean McVay, but even the last two
5:51years, has finished dead last in running back target rate.
5:54They just have other options to go to. And so that's why Kyron Corum don't really get targets overall that match the
6:01other guys who are being drafted in their range.
6:04So it's still a hard pill for me to swallow in that territory.
6:08All right. Silva, I'll give you the final word here on Kyron at 27.
6:12Yeah, also a very hard pill for me to swallow, Kyron Williams, that early.
6:17I think that the pendulum will continue to move in Blake Corum's direction.
6:21The Rams need explosive plays on offense. Devontae Adams is not an explosive player anymore.
6:26You see that they just traded for Tutu Atwell, who can only do one thing, run fast in a straight line.
6:32That's why you see them hyping up Terrence Ferguson, who has some big play ability, some explosive potential as a vertical tight end.
6:40Blake Corum is explosive. His explosive run rate last year was almost 16%.
6:44Kyron Williams was 9% last year. So I think that the pendulum will continue to swing.
6:49I think that we will see a 50-50 split.
6:52And I understand that the high-value touches have gone to Kyron Williams in the past.
6:57Who's to say for sure that that will continue into 2026?
7:00I think at the end of the day, Kyron Williams is the clear favorite for high-value touches.
7:05But Blake Corum is pretty damn good and brings a dimension to the Rams offense that Kyron Williams does not.
7:12Yeah. Kyron Williams feels old to me. He's only 26 and just turned 26 yesterday, by the way.
7:18And the thing, you know, I agree with you.
7:20To me, it would make sense to give Corum more and more and more.
7:25This guy has fumbled. Kyron has. He hasn't played that well.
7:28His underlying efficiency isn't that great. And McVay just keeps going back to him.
7:33Kyron scored 15, 16, and 13 touchdowns each of the last three seasons.
7:37And the Rams are going to be among the league leaders in touchdowns.
7:41So, you know, I think from a math perspective, it's really hard not to get there on Kyron kind of in the third round.
7:49On a Vives perspective, it's really hard. And yeah, you know, it's tough.
7:53There's a lot of really good plays in that range that you can take over Kyron if you don't feel good about it.
8:00Let's go to guy number two. Trey McBride, 30 overall.
8:03All Jocelyn Brissett, of course, has been named the starter.
8:07Brissett was very, very good for Trey McBride. I do want to get a Carson Beck take from Silva because I'm so
8:14confident we're going to see Carson Beck at the end of the season.
8:18Not because I think Brissett's going to play terrible, which he might.
8:22But like their schedule at this is their opening schedule at Chargers versus Seahawks at Niners at Giants versus Lions at Rams
8:29versus Broncos at Cowboys at Seahawks versus Rams at Chiefs.
8:32If after their first 11 games, if the Cardinals are 3-8, I would consider that a win.
8:37Like I would actually consider that they're actually playing well relative to their talent.
8:42If they can go 4-7 in their first 11 games, that would be a smash.
8:46So like if their most likely outcome is 2-9 or something like that after the first 11 games, you're going to see Beck for the money week.
8:55So Evan, I'm curious what you think about Beck and then any other McBride at 30 overall thoughts.
9:01I would describe Carson Beck as a weak-armed pocket sloth.
9:04Carson Beck spent six years in college playing in the SEC, playing for Miami, like playing for national championships.
9:10I mean, a ton of starts under his belt.
9:13And he went in the third round of the NFL draft to the dumbest organization in the NFL.
9:18I don't have any kind of faith in Carson Beck being any kind of an answer.
9:24And I would view him as a detriment to the entirety of the Cardinal skill position player core whenever he gets under center.
9:31Okay. If that's the case, and you know, my non-ball, you know, non-prospect bro take was like, is he really worse than Kobe Brissett?
9:39Maybe he is. You know, if he's as bad as Silva says, you know, maybe it's the end of season schedule.
9:45The last like four weeks does get softer for the Cardinals, which has made me leave the light on a little bit.
9:52One point I wanted to make about McBride, Daigle, is that if you look at tight end ADP in a lot of
9:59these applets, we are closer in rank to Bowers, Loveland, and McBride than we are on Warren, Laporta, Kraft, Finn.
10:06In other words, we're in line on those elite tight ends, and we're way behind on our rank on that next tier.
10:13In other words, I would say that these guys are better bets.
10:16I just don't know that I want to make the Trey McBride bet, Daigle.
10:21So any thoughts on this one? I think the bet we are making at this dipping ADP is Colston Loveland over Trey McBride.
10:28That has suddenly become the discussion as the margin has gotten wider between Brock Bowers and McBride.
10:34And if that's the case, you just look at the offenses.
10:37One head coach we know nothing about, if not don't trust, after he ran Jeremiah into the ground in his first preseason game.
10:44The other coach was interviewed and said he literally wants to have an historic offense that has leads the league in scoring.
10:51So I want to bet on Colston Loveland, who remember over those last five games when he became a full-time starter, he
10:58matched Trey McBride's full season target share. I want to bet on that offense with that horrible defense that is forced to
11:05then keep their foot on the gas on the other side of the ball with Caleb Williams instead of Trey McBride in the same range.
11:13I agree with you. However, yeah, the ADP is getting closer here.
11:17So like 30 overall McBride, as I said, 38 on Loveland.
11:21There is only an eight-pick gap now in ADP between these guys.
11:25Do you still have that feeling, Daigle, that you prefer Loveland at 38 over McBride at 30?
11:30Yes, and I believe both Silva and I have Colston Loveland ranked over Trey McBride in a vacuum.
11:36Recall, because everyone talks about the volume too, the 40 pass attempts per game that Jacoby Brissett averaged last year, that's a
11:43number that's only been accomplished 10 times in the last decade, a 3% outcome.
11:47And only Tom Brady's Buccaneers have been able to sustain that volume.
11:51So now when we're talking about unsustainable volume with these individuals, Jacoby Brissett, Trey McBride, Marvin Harrison, Michael Wilson, like you have
11:58to think then it's the overall efficiencies also dragged down from Brissett and Carson Beck.
12:03Thus, I'm just really worried for McBride at cost still, even at this ADP.
12:07All right. Let's go to our... The Cardinals last year were number one in the NFL in pass attempts and number five in sacks.
12:15They were dropping back at an insane rate. And then this offseason, the Cardinals go and use the number three pick on
12:22Jeremiah Love, a running back, and also sign Tyler Algier to a pretty decent deal, a running back.
12:28Mike LaFleur does not want to play the way that the Cardinals played last year, like not even close to that.
12:34I can speak for the Spreadsheet Socialists and Mark's team here when I say that we are factoring, like in our projection,
12:41we are not projecting to them to drop back nearly as many times as last year.
12:46Like, I don't know where we have them. I do feel kind of bad for the Spreadsheet Socialists today.
12:52They are under attack. It's early. It's early. I will say on the Cardinals, I think they're pretty interesting in-season trade targets for season-long leagues.
13:00Like, I don't necessarily want to leave my drafts with Cardinals players, but you mentioned just such a brutal schedule.
13:07And then in the fantasy playoffs, they do get the Jets, Saints, and Raiders.
13:11So I think if they're off to slow starts, you could probably get them at a discount compared to their draft day value.
13:18And then the fantasy playoffs do set up really well for them, despite whoever is playing quarterback.
13:24Yeah. All right. Let's go to player number three.
13:27I want to do two guys here, both Chiefs wide receivers, Rasheed Rice and Cyrus Allen.
13:32A default rank here is 36 on Rasheed Rice, 182 on Cyrus Allen.
13:36Silva, I want to start with Rasheed Rice. There have been, I guess I would say, bad vibes around Rasheed this preseason.
13:43He's out of jail, but there's all these videos of him maybe not running like himself, not separating from defensive backs in practice.
13:50I didn't really care about that. He doesn't separate from defensive backs in the games anyways.
13:55He runs a three-yard crossing route, catches the ball, and keeps running.
13:59So I've kind of been in knots about Rasheed Rice.
14:02I haven't been taking him a lot. I prefer other guys there.
14:06But Silva, where are you at on Rasheed Rice, 36 overall?
14:10Yeah. Concerned about his health. Concerned that the move that the Chiefs made to go give Kenneth Walker a bunch of money, that works directly against Rasheed Rice.
14:19I think that the pass volume will be down.
14:21And I also think that Kenneth Walker will just take a lot of those touches around the line of scrimmage that were being funneled to Rasheed Rice.
14:30This is not a good situation for Rasheed Rice at this point.
14:34And don't trust his knee. I mean, it sounds like he's been outplayed by Cyrus Allen, who you mentioned at the top.
14:41So love Kenneth Walker this year. Don't really want it.
14:44He's on the shy away list. Rasheed Rice is on the shy away list.
14:48Yeah, by the way, for anyone with draft kit, Rasheed Rice is on it.
14:53You can check out Silva's shy away list that went up a few days ago.
14:58This range, Mark, Rasheed Rice, Neighbors, Devonta Smith, McConkie, Zay Flowers.
15:01There are a lot of guys. So like I've been trying to nitpick because there's a lot of guys I like in there.
15:09And when I start nitpicking, I feel like I can nitpick on Rasheed Rice the hardest.
15:14So what do you think about him here? He is sinking, though.
15:17I mean, like I said, he's down to 36 overall.
15:21No doubt. And his target per outrun metrics talk.
15:23I'll give some spreadsheet socialist stats here. I mean, last year it was 32% target per outrun.
15:29That was fourth in the NFL. You know, it's around guys like Puka Nakua, Jackson Smith and Jigba.
15:35The previous season, he also got hurt, but it was at 35% there.
15:39So he is one of the league's elite target earners over the last couple of seasons.
15:44So he's kind of a guy like if you could guarantee that he was healthy and out of legal trouble over the
15:51course of the season, I do think like the third round is a pretty interesting spot because he could very well end
15:58up being a top five fantasy wide receiver. I certainly like him more in PPR formats than half PPR formats due to that target volume potential.
16:06And it's also a spot when, man, you're like, yeah, Cyrus Allen really the camp standout for the Chiefs.
16:12That's a pretty sorry place for the Chiefs receiving core to be in.
16:16You know, aging Travis Kelsey. Xavier Worthy is largely unproven still to this point.
16:21So I do think the path to targets is there.
16:24But again, I do question the health rehabbing in jail.
16:27Never a good thing for Rasheed Rice. And you have to worry about, you know, just the head on his shoulders as well.
16:34There's just so many wide receivers in this range.
16:37And one of the nits that I can pick, Daigle, is this offense just wasn't that good when it was running through Rasheed Rice.
16:45And so if I was one of the coaches, I'd be like, you know what, man?
16:50Maybe we don't need to throw the ball to Rasheed Rice 10, 12 times a game.
16:55But that's not going to be our best way to score.
16:59Daigle, any final thoughts on Rasheed Rice here? That's pretty much the argument I've been making against Patrick Mahomes this offseason.
17:05And that everyone forgot two years prior to last season, he was the QB 14 and QB 11 as a streamable option in points per game.
17:14And last year then surged higher because he averaged over five rushing points per game.
17:18It was a new career high for him. The difference is he's now coming back from a torn ACL he suffered in December.
17:26So it's really hard to then take on Patrick Mahomes, in my opinion, in his territory where he goes and drafts.
17:32Same for Rasheed Rice because all of those receivers you mentioned, I've done enough home leagues too now where I've seen Rice
17:39drafted over Olave and Nico Collins at times. And so that's also really tough.
17:44Cyrus Allen is the guy everyone's really interested in.
17:47A 20% target share and 12 touchdowns is a late breakout in his final year in Cincinnati.
17:52His ADP at least is in that range where everyone's drafting backup quarterbacks, backup tight ends.
17:57So I could see you taking that on and stashing him.
18:01And worst case scenario, you look at it as if all those players in like the last five rounds are probably going to get cut anyways.
18:09Yeah. From your roster, not from their roster. Yeah, for sure.
18:12Silva, we haven't gotten your Cyrus Allen take. Do you have any interest in a late round flyer on Cyrus Allen?
18:19No, I don't. I don't think so. I mean, I don't.
18:23Have you guys been drafting him at all? I mean, he's been going much higher.
18:27He's going too high for me in the best ball stuff.
18:31In redraft, it would take a very deep bench, I think, for me to draft him.
18:36I don't know, Mark, what do you think about taking Cyrus Allen in redraft?
18:40No, I mean, ultimately, he's 5'11", 183 pounds. Like, I don't really see him being targeted much in the red zone at all.
18:48I think the deep threats are going to be Taequann Thornton and Xavier Worthy.
18:52So I'm not really sure where Cyrus Allen fits in terms of fantasy value.
18:57You know, can he be an outlet for Patrick Mahomes throughout the season?
19:01Potentially. But I just don't see it really returning much fantasy value in terms of touchdowns and or total targets.
19:07All right. Let's go to player number four. Silva, this is one that I wanted to put on here because we have
19:14not talked about him a lot this offseason. That is DJ Moore checking in at 48 in the Yahoo default ranks.
19:21DJ Moore is 29 years old and Ben Johnson didn't want him, you know?
19:25And to me, that's been like enough to be underweight.
19:29On the other hand, Silva, I've heard this film bro take that I'm curious if you buy.
19:34Basically, the film bro take is DJ Moore is not a precise route runner.
19:38We saw that last season. He's a freelancer. He stops routes.
19:42And that was just turbo tilting to Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams.
19:46In Buffalo, Josh Allen is a wild man. He plays off script.
19:50He wants his receivers to play off script also.
19:52So that's like the film bro narrative bull case on DJ Moore.
19:56Silva, where are you at on DJM? You said that his ADP on Yahoo is 48.
20:0148, correct. I have DJ Moore at 52. Okay.
20:04So I'm just kind of lukewarm on him. I mean, the Bills pass catcher that I want at this point who I'm
20:11really pushing my chips in on is Dalton Kincaid.
20:14I'll draft DJ Moore every once in a while if he falls past his ADP.
20:19But the guy who I'm willing to go out and target in drafts is Dalton Kincaid, not DJ Moore.
20:25And I do think that DJ Moore sort of on the back nine of his career.
20:30Ben Johnson identified that. Is there a sharper offensive mind in the NFL than Ben Johnson?
20:35I don't really think so. So I think that that's an indicator as well.
20:39The Bears traded him away. Yeah. And like he goes in a range where there's if you want wide receiver there, and
20:46I often burden, Jamison Williams, Devante Adams, Terry McLaurin over DJ Moore.
20:50And it's not that I hate DJ Moore. It's just like, I like those guys a bit better.
20:56Diggling thoughts on this DJ Moore price. It's the same argument, just in a different range that I've been making against Ted Aroa McMillan and Garrett Wilson.
21:05It all makes sense, but I still have them at the bottom of that tier just for their surrounding environments.
21:11I'll even reach for Christian Watson, your flag plant Levitan over DJ Moore because he's in a similar range.
21:17So I like DJ Moore, but I just don't get much of him for that reason.
21:22All right. Let's go to player five. It is Rome Adunze checking in with a default rank of 51 overall.
21:29You know, it's not really the foot issue that has me off Adunze.
21:33It's more that I think he's going to be running the less valuable routes, right?
21:37Like Loveland and burden to me are the ones that are running the more valuable routes, especially when you think about Caleb, the accuracy issues.
21:45Everybody's like, look at the catchable ball rate at room.
21:49Well, maybe Caleb is not that accurate down the field.
21:52You know what I mean? So I don't want to rule out Rome, but he is not the guy that Ben Johnson brought in.
21:59You know, he brought in Burden and Loveland. He inherited Adunze.
22:03So Silva, where are you at on Rome Adunze here at 51?
22:07At 51? Yep. I'm below ADP on him, but I do think that there are scenarios where all of these Bears pass catchers smash.
22:14Andy Andre Swift. I mean, Ben Johnson, I know it's just coach speak, but Ben Johnson talking about wanting to set the
22:21all-time record for scoring, that's hot, man. You know, and we saw all the drastic improvements that Caleb Williams made in his
22:28second season and his first under Ben Johnson. This is the second year in the system.
22:33Luther Burden, baller. Colston Loveland, baller. You know, DeAndre Swift has like, he's had a strange kind of career.
22:39Like he keeps getting better sort of later into his career.
22:43You don't always see that with a running back.
22:46He's a better running back now than he was earlier in his career, like by a long shot.
22:52And Romo Dunze can be a touchdown guy. I think that that's how Romo Dunze gets there is if he scores like double-digit touchdowns.
22:59He's built for that. So I feel fine drafting.
23:02I've been getting him. I'm surprised that his ADP is considerably like around and a half higher than where I have him
23:09because I've been getting him a decent amount. But I won't take him at 51, though.
23:14Yeah. His redraft ADP is a little bit higher than his best ball ADP.
23:19Mark, we are well behind in our Yahoo ranks.
23:21We're at 71 overall on a Dunze against a 51 ADP.
23:25Thoughts on that? It's a spot where my heart really wants to be in on Romo Dunze.
23:30And again, like the upside of the concentration of targets in this Bears offense.
23:35But it's really hard to not make him like the third fiddle in terms of target share behind Luther Burden and Colson Loveland there.
23:42And then as well, too, like the math really struggles to get there because in Romo Dunze's career, he's only caught 102 of 203 targets.
23:50You know, that's essentially a 50% catch rate. It's just really hard to be a consistent fantasy producer with that catch rate
23:57over the course of a couple seasons. So you're betting on Caleb Williams becoming less erratic, which certainly could happen.
24:04And then I also think, you know, my biggest fear is just that Luther Burden or Colson Loveland go down.
24:10And then I really think the volume for Romo Dunze could get pretty massive there.
24:15So the contingent upside, I do think, is pretty high.
24:18And again, I want to be in on the Bears offense, but it's just a struggle there, just given Rome's efficiency throughout his career.
24:26Yeah. This is one where I'm just going to be like, if Rome beats me, he beats me, man.
24:32Like I've made my bets on Burden and Loveland and sometimes in life you got to gamble, you know?
24:38And I think Burden and Loveland are the better bets.
24:41Okay. Even at cost. Okay. Player six, Bucky Irving, 58 overall in the default ranks.
24:46This is one that I think is a really good example of how the fantasy landscape has changed over the last few years.
24:53Like people were so aware of the Gainwell threat on passing downs.
24:57They were so aware of the Sean Tucker threat at the goal line.
25:01So aware of Bucky's weird shoulder thing from last year that maybe he actually got undervalued.
25:06In other words, like everybody finds all the holes now to poke in these guys.
25:11And maybe we just lost, you know, the forest for the trees or whatever the saying is on Bucky because he has
25:18had a really nice month in terms of the way things have broken for him.
25:23So Silva, we haven't revisited Bucky in a while.
25:26What do you think about him here at 58?
25:28I mean, I have taken a position on Bucky Irving to where I am, you know, against him.
25:34We talked about him on man versus machine. Kenneth Gainwell to me is a really quarterback and coach friendly player who the
25:41Bucs gave a decent amount of money to. And it was, I think it was two years.
25:47It was two years, $14 million with $10 million guaranteed.
25:50I mean, that's pretty good money for an RB.
25:53So we know that Bucky Irving is going to get hurt in that direction from a pass catching standpoint because that is Kenneth Gainwell's strength.
26:01Now, the Sean Tucker thing is huge because we've got Pewter Report, which is like an online magazine, does a great job covering the Buccaneers.
26:09I mean, I consider them a very reliable source.
26:11They've really stated multiple times that they think there's a possibility that Sean Tucker gets cut, which the Bucs could do because he has no guaranteed money.
26:20He has a one-year, $3.5 million restricted free agent tender that contains zero guaranteed money.
26:25They can just cut him and he goes away.
26:28That would be really big because Sean Tucker, I think, had nine carries inside the five-yard line last year and Bucky had zero.
26:35Now, you know, the Bucky supporters say, oh, that could be because Bucky Irving was dealing with a shoulder injury.
26:41And that does make sense. But, I mean, I'm getting nervous about Bucky Irving.
26:46Like, I'm not going to lie to you. I haven't really started to draft him or anything like that because I still
26:53think at the end of the day, Gainwell could play just as many snaps as Bucky Irving.
26:58But if Bucky Irving gets the goal line role behind what Brandon Thorne has ranked as a top three offensive line in
27:05the NFL, Bucky Irving could score 10 touchdowns and shove it right down my throat.
27:10Yeah. I mean, relative to the other running backs in this range, and I like Swift and I like ETN, they go a little bit earlier.
27:18But I don't really like a lot of the running backs that go in this range, you know.
27:24I've been underweight a little bit on Tootin, and so I've been taking Bucky over him.
27:29So I've been getting more and more Bucky lately here, Daigle.
27:33We've also made a move in the ETR ranks and projections, just giving Bucky a little bit more of the goal line stuff, which has boosted his rank.
27:41What do you think about the recent rise of Bucky Irving?
27:45Typically, I've been checked out here of Bucky Irving and waiting till Jalen Warren, usually in like the next round or towards the end.
27:53But Bucky Irving, if he does continue to sink, it's at least a name I'll begin pondering a lot more.
27:59To this point, again, I haven't drafted him much.
28:02When he returned from injury from week 13 on, he was running a route on a third of the Bucks dropbacks.
28:09I would imagine that's why they signed Kenneth Gainwell to still take on that role.
28:13But it's like Silva said, if we also now think that Sean Tucker is going to get cut, and we'll know that
28:20in a few days here, Rashad White and Sean Tucker combined for 17 carries inside the five compared to Bucky zero last year.
28:28So now there's no equity to go elsewhere except to Bucky, and that's how he hits his ceiling or at the very least outscores his ADP.
28:36So I'm definitely going to heading into home leagues this weekend.
28:39I'm going to consider it a little more than I did prior.
28:43One of the reasons I've been trying to make the Bucky bet a little bit more is just the offensive environment for
28:50the Bucks could be very, very good. Like they could be a very good offense and get into a ton of shootouts.
28:57Baker is playing like a wild man. You know, I can see that breaking right for Bucky.
29:03Bucky, I'm not convinced on this Sean Tucker stuff yet, but we'll see.
29:07I mean, there's a lot of smoke there around Sean Tucker not having the best cam.
29:12Mark, anything to add here on Bucky before we move on?
29:15Well, I was with Silva. Like, you know, I made the high value touch argument for Kyron earlier in this whole summer.
29:22Essentially, I'd kind of been fading Bucky for the opposite reasons.
29:26You know, I didn't see much of a path to goal line work or consistent pass game work.
29:32And again, as we get closer to the season, I think I've flipped my stance there a little bit.
29:38And we'll just reiterate the Sean Tucker move is massive here.
29:41Two years ago in Bucky's rookie season, he had outcarried Rashad White 12 to 4 inside the 5-yard line.
29:47So it's not like he hasn't had that role in the past.
29:51You know, just had a couple more roadblocks last year.
29:54But I would definitely favor Bucky Irving over Kenneth Gainwell when it comes to inside the 5 or inside the 10 rush attempts.
30:01So if that's clear, then yeah, I'm going to be drafting Bucky pretty aggressively in the 5th round as we, you know, get closer to the season here.
30:10Okay. Let's take a couple more running backs in this range I want to hit on because I do think it's an
30:17important range for people that don't get running backs early.
30:2159 overall is Bayshell Tootin. I don't know, Silva.
30:23I've just been so uncomfortable on this spot, like, all offseason.
30:27And I think the reason I've been so uncomfortable on Jacksonville backfield is because I kind of see Tootin as a talent bet.
30:34If Bayshell Tootin is as good as the prospect bros say, he should, over the course of the season, run absolute circles around Chris Rodriguez.
30:42But he's still a day three NFL draft pick who wasn't that impressive last year.
30:47And so, like, the prospect bros, it's a big leap here at 59 overall because if he's not good enough, he's not
30:54going to run circles around Chris Rodriguez and expand that role.
30:57So, Silva, where you at now on Tootin 59 overall?
31:01I think we're going right back to the high-value touches stuff because Chris Rodriguez is going to get the ball in short yardage and goal line.
31:09And LaQuint Allen remains a threat in passing situations.
31:12So, what that would leave Bayshall Tootin with is a bunch of, you know, theoretically potential, you know, explosive potential between the 20s.
31:19And that might be fun to watch on TV.
31:22That's not going to get you a whole lot of fantasy points.
31:26Yeah. And also, there is the distinct possibility that Bayshall Tootin just isn't very good as a fourth-round pick who didn't even
31:33get to 400 yards from scrimmage as a rookie.
31:36I think there was, like, an assumption among a lot of people that when the Jaguars let Travis Etienne go, it was
31:43because, like, they were like, oh, so we're just going to give, you know, we're going to give this backfield to Bayshall Tootin.
31:50Bayshall Tootin has not earned that either. Liam Cohen had some sort of concerning comments about Bayshall Tootin.
31:56We want to see him take another step. You know, that's not the kind of comment that I like to hear about
32:03a running back who's supposedly, like, up and coming.
32:06I want to hear a little bit more confidence.
32:08Liam Cohen was talking about Bayshall Tootin confidently in the spring.
32:12And I think that his tune has changed a little bit as training camp has gone on.
32:17And Chris Rodriguez has been getting a ton of first-team reps.
32:21Yeah. The thing I'm most confident in is that Chris Rodriguez will be the goal linebacker.
32:26But, you know, it depends on how the flow of the game is going.
32:30But let's say there's a timeout. They have the ball at the 1.
32:35I think they're going to Chris Rodriguez. I don't want to overstate the LaQuinn Allen role.
32:40In other words, like, he might not catch a lot of passes when you're in there just to pass protect on 3rd and 10 anyways.
32:48You know, so, like, Tootin catching the ball in early downs, much like R.J.
32:52Harvey does, much like Kenneth Walker can do. I think that's in the range of possibilities.
32:57But, yeah, I mean, the concern for me is just he's not going to get the goal line.
33:03And is he good enough to separate in terms of number of carries?
33:07Mark, any final thoughts here on Jaguars and Tootin at 59?
33:11Yeah, I want to echo that. I don't think the target share is really going to be there for Basial Tootin either.
33:18You know, the Jags were 25th in running back target share last season.
33:22We talk about them as having one of the deepest wide receiver rooms in the NFL.
33:27They invested in the tight end position this offseason.
33:30Brenton Strange missed some time last year. You know, he's coming into this season healthy.
33:34So, I think there's a lot of malice to feed in this offense in the passing game.
33:40I don't necessarily see the path to Basial Tootin high-value touches.
33:43And the Jags are also the 30th-ranked offensive line by Brandon Thorne.
33:47You know, I think Chris Rodriguez brought in to be a higher success rate, kind of get those four or five-yard carries.
33:54And Basial Tootin is going to be more of a boom-bust runner.
33:58Is the boom in the range of outcomes? Of course.
34:01But I think in this range, you know, I definitely want to bet on Bucky Irving a little bit more.
34:07Jadarian Price, the next guy we're going to talk about.
34:11I just feel a little bit better investing in those two guys and their paths to fantasy relevance.
34:16By the way, Mark and Evan both mentioned Thorne's O-line rankings.
34:20Thorne did push an update. And yes, if you have DraftKid, you can see the updates that Thorne is making.
34:26He pushed an update for the Chargers losing Tyler Bia-dash.
34:29And I'll just say it's not good. It's not good how far the Chargers fell.
34:34So, I can let you guys... I haven't seen it.
34:37Yeah, he just pushed it yesterday. Oh, God. Yeah, it's not the best.
34:42All right. No, I'm not going to say... If you want to see exactly where they are, buy the Silva.
34:48Okay, fine. Still go buy the DraftKid. Buy the DraftKid, Silva.
34:51Let's go to player number eight. It is Jadarian Price, who Mark just mentioned, at 62 overall.
34:57They did shut down Jadarian Price for the rest of the preseason because...
35:01I don't really know why. He was banged up a little bit, but he's practicing in full.
35:06I actually kind of thought it was a vote of confidence for him more than anything.
35:11They know that they need him. If you watched Hard Knocks, you can see what their initial impressions were of Jadarian Price.
35:18And they are very, very strong. So, this range here, again, Bucky, 58.
35:23Tootin, 59. Price, 62. I think it's important to get right, Silva, where you at on Jadarian Price, 62 overall.
35:29Dank, were you hinting that you're kind of high on Jadarian Price?
35:33Well, I think in this range of backs, yeah.
35:36Like, at 62, you know, we're in the sixth round.
35:39At that point, there's really... I think there's a big tear break at, like, the end of the fifth, end of the sixth round.
35:46So, I have ended up taking Jadarian Price. I can make a case for it if you want me to.
35:53I'm at 57 on him. But, man, I haven't really gotten him barely at all.
35:58I guess it's probably because, like, in a lot of drafts, there's going to be a Jadarian Price big-time believer.
36:04I worry about his high-value touches, again. Charbonnet, I guess, has been making really good progress in his return.
36:10And we know that the Seahawks love that dude.
36:13They think he's the best pass-blocking running back in the NFL.
36:16He was getting goal-line short yardage over Kenneth Walker last year.
36:20And I think that Holani, George Holani, will hold down the fort until whenever Zach Charbonnet is ready.
36:26So, I just worry about the high-value touches. I believe in Jadarian Price.
36:30I think he's good. But I don't know that he's good enough to overcome getting pulled in passing situations and very potentially in scoring position.
36:38I mean, the one thing I feel best about, similar to the Searod role, is Holani will have that passing-down role.
36:44Doesn't mean it's a valuable role. Doesn't mean it's that big a negative for Price.
36:49But Holani will have the passing-down role. And then once Charbonnet gets back, he will.
36:54I do think Charbonnet is going to start on Pup.
36:57There were some rumors originally that Charbonnet might avoid Pup.
37:00I think he will start the season on Pup and miss the first four games for sure.
37:06And then try to push for, like, a late October, early November kind of return.
37:10Mark, any more thoughts here on Jadarian Price? Yeah, we had news today, too, that Emmanuel Wilson could very well end up
37:17on short-term IR with a hamstring injury. So when you look at the Seahawks' backfield, it's Jadarian Price versus George Holani.
37:24And sure, Holani played down the stretch for the Seahawks last year, came back from injury, played in the Conference Championship and
37:31the Super Bowl, and is certainly valued by the Seahawks.
37:34But I think just in terms of, like, am I worried about Jadarian Price competing with George Holani for touches?
37:41No, I'm not Jadarian Price first-round pick here for the Seahawks.
37:44And I think you're going to get a month-plus of Jadarian Price being the bell cow in this offense if he, you know, shows out and plays well.
37:53Like, I think he will go into the Kenneth Walker-Zach Charbonnet split role, you know, where he's the Walker this season.
38:00And he's going right now as the RB 26 in drafts.
38:03Last year, Kenneth Walker finished as the RB 28.
38:06So I think you're almost getting, like, a free roll of Jadarian Price for the first month-plus.
38:12If he can play well, you know, have fantasy success early on, then he could potentially earn more of a split than Kenneth Walker.
38:19But I do agree. Charbonnet is a thorn in the side, like, as he comes back.
38:24But just given the price that he's at, you know, no pun intended here on Jadarian, I think it's a good bet in fantasy.
38:32I think he's going to be a great early season start.
38:35And then, you know, who knows what happens with Charbonnet, too, as he comes back from the ACL.
38:41There can be compensation injuries. It's not just, like, guaranteed that Charbonnet is going to come back, hit the ground running as,
38:48you know, a fully productive back that he had last year.
38:52Well, part of the bet, too, Daigle, is let's just say Jadarian Price is awesome and just goes and blows the door
38:59off for the first month or the first six weeks.
39:02And they're like, oh, my God, we have to give this guy 15, 16, 17 touches a game no matter what.
39:09You know, that seems unlikely considering the way they handled Kenneth Walker, but maybe more of the success rate stuff with Walker won't be there with Price.
39:17Daigle, any final thoughts on Jadarian Price? As the individual on the show who has been down on Jadarian Price this entire
39:24process, I would also be ignorant to just completely ignore the fact that there's nowhere else to go with touches now that
39:31Emmanuel Wilson could open the season on PUP2. So, you get a pretty much, as they talk about in the FFPC leagues,
39:38like a free look on Thursday night. You get that with Jadarian Price for basically six games.
39:44So, sure, like, in this range, he's become much more palatable.
39:47Okay. Daigle, Tootin or Jadarian Price for you? Tootin still.
39:50Oh, see, we can't have the Tootin Hive coming after us.
39:54We have to have someone on here to say something positive about Tootin.
39:58The Tootin Hive will be all over us. All the points, you didn't come to be on Tootin, so I was holding, I was biting my tongue.
40:06All the points everyone made is completely fair, but it's a wide range of outcomes.
40:11Even the not having goal line carries, do I believe he's going to have goal line carries?
40:17No. But also, he finished sixth in success rate among all running backs last year because Liam Cohen just saw him, Tootin,
40:24punch four of six carries from inside the five in for scores.
40:27Like, he is more than capable. He's already proven of having that role, too.
40:32Not to mention, if we remove last year and just get a big picture view of his college profile, he still had
40:39a double-digit target share for his entire career. So, again, why Windrub Outcomes here?
40:43But as an athlete, a bet on talent, I still want Tootin overpriced personally.
40:48All right. Let's go to player number nine. It is our old friend, the Marvin Harrison one.
40:53Mazda Marvin Harrison at 68. I wanted to make sure I brought this up because I've actually been drafting some Mazda this
41:00year, and I didn't want, I wanted to get on the record here before I win something big, which I'm going to win.
41:08I better win something big this year with Marvin Harrison.
41:11I want people to be like, you said you were completely out on the Nepo baby, Marvin Harrison.
41:16I have been taking him at this falling cost here, Mark.
41:20The Nepo baby. I take Marvin Harrison. When he gets into the 70s, I actually think he's, like, a decent bet there.
41:27One of the reasons it was so easy for me to have 0% last year was because he was going to the third round.
41:35Like, the bar to clear in the third round is way different than the bar you're clearing in the 70s.
41:41And so, yes, like, for a player with this kind of prospect profile in college, we have not seen it in the NFL.
41:48But in the 70s, it's something that I've been willing to take a bet on.
41:53So, Mark, any thoughts on the current Mazda price?
41:56Well, yeah, when you say we haven't seen it in the NFL, it's just because of the extremely high expectations for Marvin Harrison.
42:03And, like, looking this offseason, you know, doing research for the Establish, the Edge pods, I was pretty blown away by what
42:10Martin Harrison has actually done in the NFL to this point.
42:14Through his two seasons, he has a 21% target per outrun, 7.9 yards per target.
42:19And he has scored 12 touchdowns on 189 targets, which is a 6.3% touchdown rate, which is quite good for wide receivers.
42:26So, he has not lived up to, you know, the top 10 draft pick that he was selected as in the NFL.
42:33But I do think he is, you know, a decent NFL wide receiver.
42:37And I mentioned in the – I think there's a pretty big tear break at the end of the fifth round, into the sixth round.
42:45So, Marv is not necessarily a guy that I've been drafting a whole lot of.
42:49I don't think the upside is necessarily there. I mentioned, you know, I don't want to invest in this Cardinals offense in general.
42:57So, no, I'm not out here claiming like I think it's going to be a breakout season for Marv.
43:03But I do think he's been a better NFL player than most people would expect or think.
43:08Yeah. It's funny. That's exactly what Matt Harmon said when we had him on the show.
43:13And you use data to back it up. And he's, you know, watching the dudes run their routes.
43:19And he turns it into metrics. But that's the exact same thing that Matt Harmon says.
43:24He has a reputation that he's just like this massive, colossal bust.
43:28And he hasn't been that bad. And at the end, like I'm lukewarm on him.
43:33Like I don't even know where to go with him.
43:36I don't really draft him like at all. But it's interesting that those two opinions are the exact same.
43:42Yours, Dank, and Harmon's. He had, okay, he didn't have a single 100-yard game last season.
43:47Marvin Harrison's son didn't. And in his rookie year, he had one half against the Rams where he went completely nuclear.
43:54So, you know, I'm not going to say that he's been good or anywhere near it in the NFL.
44:00I'm more relying on the prospect profile as a reason to take him in the 70s.
44:05Like, you know. Marvin Harrison's son. Marvin Harrison's son you can claim has been good in the NFL.
44:11I have two eyes. He has not been good in the NFL.
44:14Okay. All right. Go to player number 10. This is one that I would have been hitting on Market Monday.
44:21Same with Bucky and a bunch of these other guys.
44:24But it is Travion Henderson who has lost all of his steam here lately and is really sinking now.
44:30I mean, this is at 69 on Yahoo. Would not shock me if by the time people are drafting this weekend, Travion
44:37Henderson is going in the 70s or the 80s.
44:40Silva, are you interested now in catching perhaps the falling knife on Travion Henderson?
44:44Abso-friggin-lutely. Absolutely. And I thought that Daigle actually had the best summation of Travion Henderson that I've heard the entire offseason.
44:51It's like, we're not going to start Travion Henderson in week one, you know.
44:55But we're going to bet on the talent here as a player who was drafted within the 30s and had a, I
45:02mean, a very productive, from a box score standpoint, rookie season, very productive.
45:07But we're just going to bet on the talent and we're not going to count on him as our week one starter.
45:14But there's a good chance. I mean, he has like league winning upside.
45:18Like, let's not forget, you know, what this guy is capable of.
45:21I mean, he is a big time home run hitter.
45:25He can catch passes. He was an awesome pass blocker in college.
45:28I know that that doesn't always translate. It hasn't translated here.
45:32But he's got a huge, huge ceiling. The concern, I think, Daigle, is the preseason reports have all been Ramondre's ahead, Ramondre's
45:39ahead, Ramondre's ahead, Ramondre's outplaying him, Ramondre's outplaying him.
45:42It's been like relentless. I mean, even Thorman, who I consider very rational, Thorman is like, Travion Henderson's the worst pick on the board.
45:49I was like, Thorman, take it easy. I don't think he's the worst pick on the board where I do think, like, I was uncomfortable in the 50s.
45:58I'm a little uncomfortable in the early 60s. Once you get into the 70s and 80s, you can start to do the
46:05thing that Daigle said where, okay, fine. In the 70s, 80s, he's not going to be a starter for me.
46:12In the 50s and 60s, I want you to be a starter for me out of the gate.
46:17So anyways, Daigle, thoughts on Travion Henderson here? I still think he's a great pick with the highest ceiling possible of all the backup running backs.
46:26You can't ever cut him because the moment you cut him, every other manager in your league will try to pick him
46:33up because they also know his ceiling. And there are just so many things that happen.
46:38The NFL season is such a long one that I still think it's a great pick, honestly.
46:43And you stash him. Again, you're probably not starting him in week one against Seattle.
46:48But that's fine because we know the upside he has even on our benches.
46:52All right. Let's go to... I was in a draft last night, an FFPC main event with JJ, Rebar, Thorman, and Davis Maddox.
47:00And Travion Henderson made it to one pick before us at the 6-7 turn.
47:04And that's a sort of running back heavy format.
47:07I mean, there's a lot of boomers in there.
47:10And Travion Henderson lasted to the pick right before us at the 6-7 turn.
47:14We were going to take him, by the way.
47:17And Thorman was on board. So there is a certain point at which Pat Thorman is willing to take Travion Henderson.
47:24But you're right. I mean, his ADP has collapsed.
47:27Yeah. And the FFPC drafts, for anybody who doesn't know, you can start four running backs if you want because there's two flex spots.
47:35So that makes running backs more valuable in those kind of formats for sure.
47:39Let's go to player number 11. Also in the Marvin Harrison range, a wide receiver is a tough one for me, Brian Thomas Jr.
47:47here at 73 overall. The market reacted a little bit to the news that I thought was important that Brian Thomas plays
47:54X and Travis Hunter has been practicing exclusively at X.
47:57I thought that was an important note, but he hasn't dropped that much here, Evan.
48:02What do you think about Brian Thomas Jr. here at 73?
48:05I'm just, I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it.
48:08The only pass catcher for the Jaguars that I'm looking at at this point is Parker Washington.
48:14And he always goes a little, often goes a little bit before I'm willing to take him.
48:19There's four receivers here in play. There's two tight ends here in play.
48:23I mean, there's three running backs here in play.
48:26Like a lot of different personnel package diversity potential for Liam Cohen.
48:30And I just, I don't think there's going to be a guy that we can rely on whatsoever week to week with the exception potentially of Parker Washington.
48:39I just, I'm not interested in Brian Thomas this year, especially in the 70s.
48:43Mark, any thoughts for you on BTJ here at 73?
48:46I agree. BTJ is a sell for me. I think one of the biggest stats that I can toss out here for Brian Thomas Jr.
48:54illuminating like the difference between his rookie season and his sophomore season is in his rookie season, he had 400 more yards
49:01and yards after the catch than he did in his sophomore season.
49:05And last year, you know, he was kind of relegated to more of a deep threat role.
49:11His ADOT jumped three yards compared to his rookie season.
49:14And the Jaguars over the last 12 games had the third highest average depth of target in the NFL.
49:20So they were trying to push the ball down the field.
49:23Brian Thomas Jr. could still not produce in that role.
49:27I just think the layup targets and touches for BTJ are not going to be there in this offense.
49:33They tried him out in that role early on in the season and he floundered.
49:37You know, there was those targets across the middle where he like short-armed it against the Bengals and it turned into an interception.
49:45And then he was just relegated to a deep threat down the stretch of the season.
49:50And so I don't really see the volume case there for BTJ.
49:54Sure, is the talent there? Yes, I think it is.
49:57You know, I'm still a believer that he's a freak athlete and it could be there with elevated volume.
50:03But I just don't necessarily see the path to more than like four or five targets per game.
50:09Yeah, and this role in the NFL continues to be a role that is valuable to teams but maybe not valuable to fantasy.
50:16Guys who run very deep. Tactical value. Yeah. Not box score value.
50:20Exactly. And I know you guys talked about that a ton on the ETE pods.
50:24But, you know, guys like Alec Pierce or Xavier Worthy or Brian Thomas are worth more to their teams than they are in fantasy.
50:32Daigle, any final thoughts on Brian Thomas Jr.? I put this note in our team previews under the Jaguars for subs.
50:39And it's that the Jaguars this year opened up against the Browns, Broncos, Patriots, Eagles, Bengals, and Texans before their week seven bye.
50:46All of those defenses have shadow corners and allowed collectively 41.5 yards per game to opposing wide receiver ones.
50:52My take that I've heard no one else say, I think Brian Thomas is getting dropped in week seven over the Jags
50:59bye because he's basically unusable to that point. So I think you just swoop in and week seven will reiterate it when
51:06it comes around to that time and season and try to trade low for the Jaguars and even pick up Brian Thomas then.
51:13These are the kind of season-long bro takes that I am here for.
51:18Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Okay.
51:20Let's go to player 12. One of the most controversial players of this fantasy season has been Jonathan Brooks.
51:26Looks like the ADP or the default rank is going to settle in in the 70s here.
51:32It's at 76 on Yahoo. At one point, you could get him at 130 or 140.
51:37His preseason Silva, he's looked healthy. You know, he's been practicing.
51:40The knee seems like it's fine. He has not been productive in preseason games.
51:45I don't know that that matters at all. Meanwhile, Chuba Hubbard, the reason that one of the reasons the ADP spiked so
51:52hard was Chuba Hubbard pulled his hamstring. Sounds like Chuba should be back for week one though.
51:57So Silva, 76 overall here on Jonathan Brooks. What do you think?
52:01Nah, wave. I mean, I think that regardless of what happens, how, you know, maybe the Panthers surprise a little bit offensively
52:08or you think they're going to be terrible. Like I think it's going to be a two-way committee on a team that
52:15isn't going to score very many points. Like Chuba Hubbard is not going to go away.
52:20Jonathan Brooks could end up out touching him, but Chuba Hubbard is going to be involved.
52:25He's a team captain. He's going to be in their pass protection.
52:29I don't want either of them. Yeah. I know Daigle is one of the Jonathan Brooks.
52:34I love it when I'm in a draft and other people take them because that means that somebody else is dropping to me.
52:42Yeah. I mean, this range here, Daigle, you get Jonathan Brooks in this range.
52:46You get Rico Datil. You get Jalen Warren. You get Tony Pollard.
52:50And now you're starting to get Travion Henderson in this range here.
52:54Also, I know you've been in Jonathan Brooks Bowl this offseason.
52:57Where are you at right now? Final ADP is probably going to be in the 70s.
53:02I still think he's a fine pick here. Travion and Jalen Warren, I have higher personally.
53:07But when we talk about the outlooks to having a ceiling in this range, Jonathan Brooks, we still believe is going to
53:14be at the very least the receiving back in Carolina.
53:18The three games he overlapped with Chuba Hubbard, a very small sample back in 2024.
53:22He was targeted on 30% of his routes, not to mention the Panthers are opening at least week one, probably longer than that without both their starting tackles.
53:31So it's just a really bad range for Chuba Hubbard because the early down carries really aren't probably going to be successful
53:38or efficient in Carolina to begin the year. So I still think Jonathan Brooks is a good pick.
53:44All right. Fine pick. Mark, any final thoughts on Brooks before we move on?
53:48Nope. All right. Let's go to player number 13, Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt.
53:52This has been a late riser and one that I also would have covered on Market Monday because Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt was going in the 120s.
54:00I'm seeing a Yahoo default rank now of 86 on Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt.
54:04I think one of the reasons he's been rising is, I'm not exaggerating, camp videos of him catching the football.
54:10Like, and this guy has had no pass catching role anywhere.
54:14There are videos out there of him catching the ball in camp.
54:17I don't think that matters at all, but I do think it's affected his ADP.
54:22Silva, where are you at on JCM at 86?
54:25I think that Rashad White is going to out-snap Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt on the season.
54:29Definitely. That doesn't mean that Rashad White is going to kill in fantasy or anything like that, but I think that he's
54:36going to end up really hurting Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt's fantasy value.
54:40And Rashad White, in Tampa Bay, one of the reasons that the Bucs like to play Rashad White because he's so good
54:47in pass protection, and the commanders are going to need that, especially after losing Laramie Tunsil.
54:52I think that Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt was one of the biggest losers from the Laramie Tunsil injury.
54:57Yeah. I know we made some moves in the projections, Mark, after the Tunsil injury.
55:02I do think Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt is just like a very good runner in the right setups.
55:07How many right setups are you going to get with this offensive line on this commander's team?
55:12And then if they're bad, you're going to be in real trouble because we know they're going to play Rashad White.
55:19So the ADP has gotten away from us a bit here.
55:22I actually thought he was a really good click at like 120, 110.
55:2686 is a bit tougher for me, Mark. Where are you at on JCM?
55:31I'm in the same boat in that the price now seems a little too rich in the 80s.
55:37You know, I've gone back and forth multiple times just on the path to high-value touches.
55:42I'm not a buyer in the off-season narrative that he's going to catch more passes.
55:46You know, Daniels has close to a 13% scramble rate in his career.
55:51He's going to scramble rather than dumping it off to JCM.
55:54You know, I think Rashad White is going to be in more of the obvious pass-down situations.
56:00I will say like Jerome Ford being out for the season, you know, there's another body down that JCM could maybe get into more pass game scripts.
56:08Jeremy McNichols is also injured and it may seem like throwaway names on Ford and McNichols, but they were legitimate, you know,
56:15roadblocks to JCM playing more pass-down snaps. So, man, it's tough.
56:19You know, I expect Rashad White to be the goal lineback and then I don't expect JCM to catch many passes.
56:25So in the 80s, you know, that's just a price that's a little too rich for me right now.
56:31Yeah, agreed. Dagle, anything on JCM before we move on?
56:35The Lammy Tums' injury certainly hurt because I've been on merit all offseason.
56:39Still an explosive player. His rate of 10-yard carries finished between B.
56:42John Robinson and Derek Henry last year. Naturally, we do just want to bet on sophomore running backs who are starting.
56:49But, yeah, the receiving outlook probably looks like it got worse since they need the pass pro.
56:55All right. Did you guys hear Dagle call Jacory Krosky merit merit?
56:58Yeah, they're – Yeah, I've never heard him called merit before.
57:02Bill, JCM, Jacory Krosky merit never merit. I was on a roll.
57:06So that's a first. I didn't stop. I didn't stop.
57:09I was just on a roll. They're close personal friends.
57:12And also, for those who don't know, after Dagle's pronunciation, they're Troy Merritt, Journeyman Golfer, and Jacory Krosky Merritt are actually brothers.
57:19So little known fact. Okay. Two left. Player 14, Casey Concepcion.
57:23This was a request for us to talk about from ETR CEO Taylor Cabe, who, by the way, has his auction draft this weekend.
57:30And a lot of our content is just so that Taylor can be prepared for his specific auction draft.
57:36You may have seen we've beefed up our auction coverage.
57:39That is because Taylor himself plays auction drafts. So anyway.
57:43Stop everything. Taylor's draft is coming up. Stop everything.
57:46Taylor has a draft tomorrow. We need to talk about Casey Concepcion.
57:49At one point, Casey Concepcion was going in the 130s.
57:53Now we're at 105 on Casey Concepcion default rank.
57:55So I know you've gotten higher Concepcion lately and lower Denzel Boston.
57:59How do you feel about this price on Concepcion 105 overall?
58:03Dude, I just did a show right before this with Pat Corrine and Eric Bimefor.
58:07And we went back in. You know how I talk about sometimes there was like this Roto-Viz article that talked about wide
58:14receivers with like really strong returner stuff. You know, yeah.
58:18The YouTube commenters get on my ass. Oh, Josh Cribs?
58:21Devin Hester? Yeah, what about like Odell Beckham and Antonio Brown and, you know, Des Bryant?
58:26Tyree Kill. Tyree Kill. I mean, the list goes on and on.
58:30It's not that all return guys become great receivers.
58:33It's that it's a positive indicator when you have a receiver and you look back at their resume and they were killer on returns in college.
58:41Casey Concepcion was the best return man in the nation last year.
58:45Okay? He won some award for that too, by the way.
58:48And we went back and we looked at the articles.
58:51John Moore did it on Roto-Viz in 2015. It's an incredible article, man.
58:56I mean, and it's so prescient. Yeah, it was the first guy.
58:59It was highlighting Antonio Brown. And Wes Welker was in the title.
59:03But, like, I'm all in on Casey Concepcion. I mean, I moved him up to where he's – I mean, if you
59:10were using my rankings, you were going to get Casey Concepcion.
59:14I think he's – and also, if you look – all right, so I love that the Browns are just – they're not messing around.
59:22They're going to play the kids. Denzel Boston is going to start.
59:25Casey Concepcion is going to start. Denzel Boston, his college profile did not indicate – it was not indicative of a player
59:32who's going to be a high-volume player in the NFL.
59:36And I think that Casey Concepcion is going to run the high-percentage stuff.
59:40And that's the way that you get him the ball because he's so good with the ball in his hands, which is
59:47reflected in how awesome of a return man that he was in college.
59:51And with this shoddy quarterback play that we have in Cleveland, we want the guy who's going to be running the high-percentage stuff.
59:58And that's going to be Casey Concepcion. All in on Casey Concepcion.
60:02I want to get him in every single draft until September 13th.
60:06Okay. Let me tell you, Silva, what the pushback is going to be on this.
60:11It is going to be that the quarterback play in Cleveland is so bad that there is not a ceiling here.
60:17And you combine bad quarterback play. And by the way, Penix – Penix.
60:21Shadur and Deshaun Watson were like last and second-to-last in EPA per play last year.
60:26They were like the stone-cold worst. And then you also throw in Cleveland weather in December is just absolutely awful.
60:33What is the ceiling on Casey Concepcion given those two factors?
60:36It's going to be the pushback. I get what you're saying, and I don't really disagree.
60:41But I just question what the ceiling is in this environment.
60:45Any – I don't care. I'm drafting him. Go ahead, Dagle.
60:48In drafts, when you hammer out that great wall of wide receivers between rounds three through six, three through seven, a lot
60:55of the times you only need to tack on one more because you're asking yourself in draft, like what is the path
61:02then for this late receiver to actually start in this lineup at some point since I've used the elite capital already at that position.
61:10And that's why I think a lot of people in your league will be shocked or confused why you draft Deshaun Stribbling and Casey Concepcion so high.
61:18But those are the guys we talk about that have that ceiling that actually then can step in as your wide receiver two or three in a pinch.
61:27Not only that, but I don't pay much attention to preseason.
61:31I ignore a lot of it. But Concepcion against the Bears when the starters were out there getting an end around at the 10-yard line.
61:39A guy that rushed for 430 yards and two touchdowns in college.
61:43Like then Todd Munkin comes out after the game and says, we are going to do whatever we can to get him the ball.
61:50Yeah. It's not the same kind of player, but it really reminds me of Jaden Reed's rookie year, how they saw it.
61:57And they were like, we're going to get this guy on the field no matter what, because he's one of our most explosive players.
62:05So I definitely want to draft those two rookies in particular everywhere.
62:09And I like betting against Jerry Judy and betting on a first-round rookie and betting on Todd Munkin.
62:14Like, I like that. This price is getting to a spot where you would have to take Concepcion in the same range as Stribbling, Matthew Golden, Makai Lemon.
62:23Like, I definitely take Stribbling and Golden over Concepcion for me.
62:27Not that I hate Concepcion. It's gotten expensive. Mark, any final thoughts here on Concepcion?
62:32I wish Joe Flacco still played for the Cleveland Browns.
62:35That could be a saving grace. Man, it is really tough to see the path to consistent quarterback play for them.
62:41But I think Concepcion, I think the volume and talent is going to be there for him.
62:47So if he can eke out four to six touchdowns across the season, I think he's going to smash at that ADP.
62:54But the Browns are implied for the lowest team total across the entire season.
62:58So that's the tougher path. But again, he's going to get the opportunity.
63:02He has the talents. I'm willing to bet on that in the 10th round.
63:07Silva, Matthew Golden or Concepcion straight up? Concepcion. All right.
63:10I agree. I like both. I do like both.
63:13Last one here has been a very late rise.
63:16It is for deep league people. Jacoby Lane is just smashing at Ravens camp.
63:20He is up to 189 in the Yahoo default ranks.
63:23He got some more wind in his sails than Jacoby Lane when a story came out that Rashad Bateman had a domestic violence issue.
63:31That story has since been recanted. I don't know that Rashad Bateman is going to face anything off of this.
63:37At this point, I kind of doubt that he will.
63:41In other words, Jacoby Lane is going to have to beat out Rashad Bateman for that wide receiver two job, which maybe he already has.
63:49You know, I mean, it's possible. Maybe he already has.
63:52Silva, any latest thoughts here on a late flyer on Jacoby Lane?
63:56Yeah, I drafted him for the first time last night.
63:59You know, a big tall. He's six. He's almost six foot five, 200 pounds, a big clasher.
64:04I heard Derek Klassen on the athletic podcast compare him to T Higgins.
64:08You know, Jamison Hensley, who's covered the Ravens for 27 years.
64:12My Sleepers article is going up tonight. And Jacoby Lane is, I think, the last guy on there.
64:18Jamison Hensley has covered the Ravens for 27 years.
64:20He said that he's never seen a player have that kind of a training camp that Jacoby Lane has.
64:26Now, we said that on August 8th. And we're, you know, several weeks past that.
64:31So I don't know if he's necessarily continued that.
64:34But Rashad Bateman did not have a good season last year.
64:38Apparently was not having a good training camp. So, you know, and Declan Doyle.
64:42Like, you know, if Declan Doyle turns around Lamar Jackson, Declan Doyle will be the youngest NFL head coach in league history next February.
64:50And I think that he should open everything to competition.
64:53And, yeah, I think that we see in week one, I don't know that Jacoby Lane starts.
64:58But I think we'll see him get snaps. And maybe they'll ramp him up as the season progresses.
65:04Agreed. I mean, if he keeps playing like this, he's going to beat out Rashad Bateman.
65:09I more question what is the wide receiver two in Baltimore actually worth.
65:13I will say this. I'm like workshopping a take that Harbaugh is kind of like the game has passed by Boomer.
65:20And this new Declan Doyle thing could actually like really ignite the Ravens.
65:24Like that's at least in the range of outcomes for me.
65:28Mark, any more thoughts here on Jacoby Lane as a late flyer in deeper formats?
65:32Yeah, I initially had him listed as sell on my sheet here.
65:36But I think Silva swayed me a little bit.
65:39You know, I will just say like the pass volume in Baltimore is a huge negative.
65:44Over the last four seasons, they finished 32nd, 31st, 30th, and 28th in total pass attempts.
65:49So I do think he has to beat out Rashad Bateman.
65:53But, you know, there's a case that Mark Andrews is washed.
65:56And I certainly think like Jacoby Lane, where he goes in drafts is totally fine to tack on at the end and
66:03see how the first couple weeks of the season goes.
66:06You know, if this preseason hype translates at all, I think he's a worthy kind of late round stash the more I think about it.
66:14And I do think this is going to be a big bounce back season for Lamar Jackson, given how last year went.
66:21And so I kind of want to bet on that, you know, combination being fantasy fruitful.
66:26The Ravens ran over 100 fewer plays from 11 personnel than the next closest team.
66:31Even if that changes a bit, then we're talking about getting Jacoby Lane on the field more often.
66:37And remember, this team just lost Isaiah likely to a competent tight end too.
66:41So there's there's a wider path to him playing a lot more at a range and redraft where, again, these are the
66:48shots we take because most of these players are going to be cut or streamers.
66:53Anyhow, there's a wide range just to him getting on the field.
66:57That's a positive. All right. We have covered 15 players here today.
67:01Hopefully that helps you guys get set for your final drafts.
67:04By the way, we were recording this on Thursday, August 27th.
67:08As you were recording, Josh Jacobs news did come down that he has been charged not with a felony or misdemeanors.
67:14But obviously we're working on all information there and rankings are always updated for news like this.
67:20All right. Good luck in your drafts. Get out there.
67:23Dominate. Take no prisoners. I'm not going to do the whole don't drink and don't smoke bid again, but don't drink and don't smoke.
67:31You win and then you party. You dominate. You dominate.
67:34And then you party. With the ETR draft kit.
67:37Actually, not the draft kit. The bundle. You need the bundle.
67:40For Silva. For Daigle. For Mark. Producer Ryan. Producer Luke.
67:43I am Adam. Good luck. Everybody. Everybody. Everybody.
