Blake Corum

PositiveUsage0:15

In his last 11 games starting from week seven, Corum was on pace for 179 carries, 912 yards, and eight touchdowns with 40% of the running back carries, showing strong efficiency and volume.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:15

Compared to Kyle Monongai, Corum was more efficient with similar volume; both were on pace for eight rushing touchdowns, but Corum had better yards per carry despite Monongai getting more receiving work.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeUsage0:11

Hubbard had 134 carries in 2025 with a longest carry of just 14 yards, indicating limited explosive plays in the running game.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:13

Hubbard is highly valued by the Panthers coaching staff as a high-character guy and will get plenty of opportunities even if Jonathan Brooks gets healthy, maintaining a strong role in the offense.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveValue0:14

In full PPR, Dobbins was RB18 per game in 2024 and RB27 per game in 2025, his worst format, yet he's RB38 in ADP, suggesting a potential discount based on recent performance.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeInjury0:05

Brooks is coming off consecutive ACL tears in the same knee and sat out a full season after the injury, raising durability concerns despite the opportunity in Carolina.

Insight page

Kyle Monangai

PositiveUsage0:15

In his last 11 games with DeAndre Swift, Monongai was on pace for 187 carries, eight rushing touchdowns, and 17 catches with 44% of running back carries, showing strong dual-threat potential.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:16

Monongai is preferred over Blake Corum by a slight margin because his track record in a drive-by-drive rotation with DeAndre Swift makes workload more predictable, and Swift is a better partner than Kyron Williams.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveRole0:17

Williams did not lose his role on important touches like passing down work and goal line opportunities, maintaining a stronger commitment from the Rams compared to the Bears' approach with their backfield.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

PositiveProjection0:20

Daniel Popper of The Athletic believes Omarion Hampton could be one of the best running backs in the NFL if he stays healthy.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

PositiveRole0:20

Quentin Johnston is expected to benefit from the Chargers offense because of his YAC skills, according to multiple reporters including Daniel Popper of The Athletic.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveUsage0:10

Stevenson and Travion Henderson both averaged 4.4 yards per carry over 18 games together, but Stevenson had eight goal line carries compared to Henderson's one, suggesting a potential edge in scoring opportunities.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:24

The Patriots showed a clear preference for Stevenson over Travion Henderson at the end of last season through the playoffs and Super Bowl, suggesting this trend will continue barring injury.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveProjection0:20

Nick Cosmider of The Athletic thinks R.J. Harvey could make a big jump in year two if he's more efficient running between the tackles, though the article doesn't paint an overly optimistic picture.

Insight page
NegativeRole0:23

Harvey's path to success is limited by Jonah Coleman's presence in the backfield; even if J.K. Dobbins misses time, Coleman will likely get rushing opportunities, reducing Harvey's upside.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveProjection0:11

Pollard has finished between RB22 and RB30 per game in all formats three straight seasons and is currently RB28 in PPR ADP. He averaged 100 rushing yards per game in his last five games of the season.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveRole0:21

Marks will play on third down for the Texans and could have an expanded role after Dario Gumbawale left the team; both players had exactly nine targets and six catches on third down last year.

0:00This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. What a play!
0:04Can you believe this? He had no idea. It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
0:10Off to the races! And he stays on his feet!
0:14He's just gonna go the distance! Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
0:20Hey, July 6th. Welcome to Fantasy Football Today. Hope you all had an amazing July 4th weekend.
0:26And 250! Yeah! And Jamie is very patriotic today, sporting red, white and blue and...
0:32Big game night. Big game tonight. Big game. Yeah, you're talking about my tennis match at 8 o'clock that I will be missing the soccer game.
0:41What? Yeah. What? Bummer, I know. Bummer. Bummer. Yeah.
0:45You didn't cancel it? I can't cancel it. What do you mean cancel?
0:50Of course you can. No, it's a league match.
0:53So what? I can't cancel. What kind of league is this?
0:57Belgium? Yeah. Anyway, I was suspended for tonight's match, but the commissioner called up and made a plea and I'm back in.
1:05Anyway, yeah, really excited for soccer. Really excited to talk about this group of running backs because last year in round 7
1:14through 9 you had really, you know, Caleb Johnson and Jordan Mason.
1:18Actually, it's a pretty good group. You had Tyrone Tracy Jr., Caleb Johnson, Jalen Warren, good pick, Travis Etienne, amazing pick, Jordan
1:26Mason, not a bad pick, Ja'Cory Krosky Merritt had his moments, Cam Skadaboo, great pick, and J.K.
1:33Dobbins, really good pick. So very solid, strong group.
1:36Usually round 7 through 9 I would say over the last 9 years or so I have the data better at wide
1:44receiver than running back in terms of guys that just like pop.
1:49You had Chris Olave, for example, last year. But still, we can get some good players at the running back position.
1:57You are, of course, going to get some really bad players too.
2:01But Dave, when you look at the group we're talking about today, round 7 through 9, fantasy pros overall PPR ADP.
2:09The running backs are Pollard, Chuba Hubbard, Ramondre Stevenson, R.J.
2:13Harvey, then round 7. Kenneth Gainwell and Rico Dowdle in round 8.
2:17And then you got a lot of backups. Menongai, Jonathan Brooks, Blake Corum, Rashad White, and J.K.
2:24Dobbins. Not all of them are backups. In round 9, what should your running back position look like before you get to this group?
2:33Well, if you like the names in this group and you could see yourself starting three plus members of this group, then
2:41maybe you should be open to a hero RB strategy.
2:45But if you're like me and you look at this group and you don't see too much upside, you're going to want
2:53to get a couple of running backs before you hit round 7.
2:58This is a group where I'm looking for my RB3 and other depth pieces potentially.
3:03Actually, I'm looking for guys when I'm drafting in round 7 through 9, who's got a floor of 10 PPR points per game?
3:12I don't think that's asking for too much from a running back.
3:16Obviously, if it's PPR, you want somebody who's going to catch the ball a little bit.
3:22That'll help you get to that floor. But obviously, the ones that have ceilings attached to them, you look at Pollard, you look at Chuba.
3:32You can make the case for a couple of other running backs in this group.
3:37If they've got the ceiling of 12 to 13 PPR points per game and that floor, of course, you're going to go after them first.
3:47Ceiling of 12 to 13? Yeah, I don't think you're going to get many running backs that did what Travis Etienne did last year.
3:56There might be one in this group. Somebody's on the clock, I heard.
4:01I don't know how many of these guys. You can make the case for a couple of these guys, but I don't
4:09think there's a lot of high ceiling running backs in round 7 through 9.
4:14And just, you know, I think Dave said 12 to 13 PPR points per game.
4:20That's where RJ Harvey was, 12.3. But he, of course, was backloaded when Dobbins got hurt.
4:26Dobbins was 11.6 PPR points per game, but he only had one catch per game.
4:32Tony Pollard, 11.3 PPR fantasy points per game. And that's going to make you somewhere around RB 26-ish, let's just say.
4:39Where's Krosky Merritt in round 6? No, he's on this – oh, oh, where is – he was on last year's list, sorry.
4:48Right now he's going 127th, so he's round 11.
4:51That's crazy. Rashad White's going ahead of Krosky Merritt.
4:55Yes. Krosky Merritt's going 98th on CBS. Yes. That's just past round 8.
5:00Jamie, when you look at this group, who's got the highest ceiling?
5:04And obviously there's a big difference between the running backs going in round 7 and the ones going in round 9, but who's got the highest non-injury ceiling?
5:15Non-injury to a teammate ceiling? I would guess it's either Pollard or Hubbard.
5:20If they both hit to their potential of what we've seen them.
5:24Pollard has been great at times, and if you just look at the last five games of last season, that's a pretty
5:32good running back that you're getting in round 7.
5:36And then Chuba – I mean, I know there's a lot of Jonathan Brooks hype.
5:41I get it. You know, there's certainly an opportunity for him to, you know, lead the position and win the job and
5:50be the best running back in Carolina, but he is coming off consecutive ACL tears in the same knee and sitting out
5:58of full season, you know, after doing that. So I think if you just look at – I think still the Carolina
6:06offensive line is very underrated and has an opportunity to be one of the better running offenses in the NFL if Hubbard
6:14or Brooks or both can take advantage of it.
6:18Yeah, interesting you said that. PFF had them the last two years as a top seven run-blocking team, Carolina.
6:25ESPN had them 10th two years ago, but 28th last year.
6:29So weird. They were fourth according to PFF in run-blocking and 28th according to ESPN.
6:35But yes, Carolina could be a very good offensive line in that regard, and Chuba Hubbard is RB 29 and ADP.
6:43Okay, so we'll get – again, the names are Pollard, Hubbard, Stevenson, Harvey, Gainwell, Dowdle, Monongai, Brooks, Corum, Rashad White, and Dobbins.
6:51Get back to that in a moment. We have a lot of other podcasts that you'll find interesting, including some soccer podcasts.
6:59Go to cbssports.com slash podcasts. Get the full list.
7:03Obviously, that includes FFT Dynasty. It includes Beyond the Box Score.
7:07It includes Fantasy Baseball Today, Eye on College Basketball.
7:10Call it what you want, which is a soccer podcast, the early edge for your gambling needs.
7:16Inside College Basketball Now. You know, cover three for college football.
7:21Pushing the pile for the NFL. Great stuff. And of course, with the first pick, in case Ryan Wilson's listening.
7:28I don't want to offend him. We did hear a sound – Who does Ryan do the podcast with?
7:35Let's see if you know. Oh, come on. And I ran.
7:39There you go. JV. They posted their 2027 draft prospects at running back on Instagram.
7:45And I texted both of them because ran as a gator.
7:49And they have Baugh as the number one running back for 2027.
7:54And I said, Oh, you just did this because you're a homer.
7:58And they were just thrilled to get the attention.
8:01So give them more publicity. They deserve it. And, Jamie, we heard a sound on your computer earlier because you made a draft pick.
8:10Is today the official start of fantasy football? Scott Fishbowl, baby.
8:15Yeah. You excited to finally meet Scott in person?
8:18Yes. I'm going to meet Scott in person in Philadelphia this week.
8:23By the way, if you're a listener of the show and you live in Philadelphia, I don't know, DM me or tweet at me or something.
8:32Or email me. Email me. FantasyFootballAtCBSI.com. It's fine. And Dan Schneier and I will be there.
8:38Are you picking him up? I am picking him up.
8:42Yes! The conference is Wednesday and Thursday. I don't know how much free time we'll have.
8:48But we'll be there. And we're going to meet a lot of people from the fantasy industry, including Scott Fish.
8:56But Scott Fishbowl has started. It's sort of the unofficial launch of the fantasy football season.
9:02Crazy scoring in this league. But who did you take second overall?
9:06I took Gibbs. A lot of internal debate because Jamar Chase was first of Josh Allen, Jameer Gibbs, and Puka Nakua.
9:14But I'm just going to stick with the guy I think is going to be the best player in fantasy this year and that's Jameer Gibbs.
9:24Okay. And it's a super flex league. That's why Jamie was considering Josh Allen.
9:29There's also a lot of bonuses for big plays, including more bonuses for receiving big plays.
9:35And then tight ends have a lot of bonuses as well.
9:39Can I answer Jeff's question in the chat? JeffSills134.
9:43Will Dan be ready? No, the other one. Because you guys are the two biggest mushes I've ever met in my life.
9:51Adam and I were just sailing along maybe the best record in the league, certainly top three.
9:57And Adam's like, man, our team's great. I haven't done anything.
10:01It's just fantastic. And I think we've lost like six of seven since.
10:06And then Dave texted me after we got to first place.
10:10He was like, oh, we're doing great. This is awesome.
10:14And we've lost two in a row. Yeah, Jamie shares the team with me and with Dave, except I don't do anything.
10:22And Dave... I barely do anything. Yeah, so... No, Dave's a very active participant.
10:28Adam is a minority owner. A slightly minority owner.
10:31All right. Jamie shamed me for... I didn't really steal it, but jokingly stealing the term water cooler stats.
10:38So now we have group chat stats. Jamie, these are stats that you're going to text your fantasy football group chat because they're so interesting.
10:47Okay. Uh, Ramondre Stevenson and Travion Henderson played 18 games together, including the playoffs.
10:53In those 18 games, they both averaged 4.4 yards per carry.
10:57Stevenson, though, had eight goal line carries and Henderson had one.
11:01Uh, Tony Pollard has finished between RB22 and RB30 per game in all formats three straight seasons.
11:07Right now he's RB28 in PPR ADP. He also averaged 100 rushing yards per game on the nose in his last five games of the season.
11:17Uh, this one is amazing. Chuba Hubbard had 134 carries in 2025.
11:22Without looking at my notes, what was his longest carry?
11:25How many yards for Chuba Hubbard? 134 carries. His longest carry went for how many yards?
11:3114. 11. Screw you, Dave. You looked at my notes.
11:35I did. 14 yards. That's terrible. It's not good.
11:39Uh, you know what else is a good, I don't know if it's his fault, but Dave Canales, his track record, he's
11:47got three years as a coordinator or a head coach.
11:51His teams, Dave Canales, his teams have never finished higher than 20th in scoring or 22nd in plays.
11:57So, if you're gonna have a committee, you know, you need a high, I don't know if it's gonna be committee, but
12:06if you're gonna have a committee and someone's gonna be successful, think about the Bears and the Rams, right?
12:13You need a high-scoring team that runs a lot of plays.
12:17We're not best. No. He's kind of built into their ADP, right?
12:21Because you're not drafting either one of these guys to be a starter.
12:26I do find it interesting, though, what the personnel moves that they made by letting Rico Dowdle go and not really addressing the position.
12:35So, either they're really confident in Chuba, really confident in Brooks that he's gonna, you know, be healthy and, you know, play
12:44to the level of what they thought he was when they drafted him, or both.
12:49And hopefully that the committee is strong enough to be successful.
12:53They love Chuba. Like, as far as, like, locker room presence, high-character guy, like, he embodies what the Panthers coaching staff wants their players to be.
13:03And so, he's gonna get plenty of opportunities, and even if Jonathan Brooks gets through training camp and he looks good and
13:11all that stuff, Chuba's gonna have a role. I'm, as to the Canales stat that you gave, he's not calling the plays anymore this year.
13:21He's handing it over to his buddy Brad Idzik, and he is the, he is the play caller that I am most
13:29worried about because there isn't a track record with him.
13:33He, he doesn't come from any kind of super special tree.
13:37That's the thing. It's still Canales' offense on top of it.
13:41So, it's somebody else calling from Canales' playbook. I'm nervous about what it's gonna mean for Carolina and their chances to take a step forward offensively.
13:51And then you talked about the offensive line. I don't know if their best tackle's gonna even play this year.
13:58True, Iki Aquano, yeah. This is a funny comment that I didn't get until just now.
14:04Will Dan see the group chat stats? Probably not.
14:08All right. Isn't Heath the one that's usually left off?
14:11What's that? Isn't Heath the one that's usually left off?
14:15Heath gets left off the group chats, Dan just ignores them.
14:19Yeah. A few more group chat stats. In full PPR, J.K.
14:23Dobbins was RB18 per game in 2024 and 27 per game in 2025.
14:28By the way, full PPR, his worst format last year.
14:32He's RB38 in ADP, so based on the last two years, it looks like a discount.
14:38But the next group chat stat, beware of that statistic because Rashad White was RB10 per game in 2023 and RB21 per game in 2024.
14:47And last year, Rashad White was RB45 per game.
14:51These are all players we're going to talk about today.
14:55Dobbins, Rashad White, Chuba Hubbard, and Brooks. And then finally, how about just a comparison?
15:00I think so coincidental almost. Blake Corum and Kyle Monongai, they both started getting more work in week seven.
15:07They're going almost back to back in ADP right now, Corum and Monongai.
15:12Corum played 11 games from week seven through 18.
15:16Monongai played 12 games, but one of those 12 was with DeAndre Swift.
15:21So he played without Swift. So they both played 11 games with the other guy in the backfield.
15:27And Corum in his last 11 games was on pace for 179 carries, 179 carries, 912 yards, eight touchdowns.
15:34He had 40% of the running back carries. That's Corum.
15:38179 carry pace, 40% of the running back carries.
15:42Monongai, his last 11 games with DeAndre Swift, on pace for 187 carries.
15:46That's eight more. 99 fewer yards, and also eight rushing touchdowns.
15:51They both were on pace for eight rushing touchdowns.
15:54He had 44% of the running back carry. So their stats were so similar except Corum was more efficient.
16:01Monongai, though, was on pace for 17 catches. Corum was only on pace for eight catches.
16:07Monongai at least was used a little bit in the passing game.
16:12But, man, they were so similar. And both of their teams averaged 25 or more running back carries per game in those
16:2011 games, which is going to be at or near the top of the league.
16:25So do you guys have a preference between Corum and Monongai?
16:30Because they were pretty damn similar last year. Monongai by a nose simply because I think we've already seen him work in
16:38a drive by drive rotation with DeAndre Swift. It makes it a lot harder to predict who's going to do what from
16:46game to game, but it makes it easier to predict just how much work a guy is going to get.
16:54And I'd rather have the running back behind DeAndre Swift than the running back behind Kyron Williams.
17:00Williams has the better track record over the last few years, but it's that close.
17:06And if you want to say that the Rams offense is a little bit better than the Bears and therefore you'd rather have Corum, I get it.
17:16I mean, this is the definition of the Spider-Man meme because everything is almost identical.
17:21It's like if an injury were to happen to either one, there's top 10 upside for the other guy.
17:29They both, like you said, started getting work at the same time.
17:33They both have opportunities to still be successful even if the other guy is healthy.
17:39I think the biggest difference is for me, and I agree with Dave, it's a non-guy slightly, they're back to back in
17:47my rankings though, is Kyron Williams did not lose his role on the important touches, which was passing down work and goal line opportunities.
17:56I could see DeAndre Swift maybe losing those chances if Ben Johnson wants to go a different direction.
18:03Plus, the commitment to Kyron Williams is a little bit stronger based on where these two guys are in their respective franchises.
18:11I think just looking at the two players, Monongai could potentially steal the job if he gets off to a good start and Swift struggles.
18:20I don't expect that to happen. That's not remotely close to how I have it ranked.
18:26I think Kyron Williams would have to completely fall on his face or get injured and then Blake Horn runs away with
18:35the job before he loses any opportunities. Do either of these guys in either of your minds have 10 PPR point per
18:43game potential as long as their co-starter or starter ahead of them, however you want to phrase the veteran backs stay healthy.
18:51Yeah. Yeah, I think that would be probably close to the ceiling.
18:56There'll be some really good weeks, but looking at Mononga's game log from, you know, he scored 19 points in week 13,
19:04then 8.7, 3.3, 12.3, 7.7, 5.9, then we get to the playoffs.
19:08Jamie, I just want to say one thing. Actually, in those last 11 games, Corum and Kyron Williams both had eight goal line carries.
19:17Yeah, but what I'm saying is Kyron didn't lose the job.
19:22He didn't lose the job, but I think it was the same thing with the Bears.
19:28Those guys split that role pretty evenly in both.
19:31It is unbelievable how similar the profiles are of these two running So maybe if you drafted Swift or you drafted Kyron, it might influence your decision.
19:41But we're going to take a break and give you some news and notes on the Chargers and some other teams, and
19:49then we'll dive into these running backs a little bit more when we come back.
19:55All right, news and notes. Not much, still the quiet time of the year right now, but Daniel Popper of The Athletic
20:03thinks he called Ladd McConkie the number one option in the passing offense.
20:08He also said that Quentin Johnston's going to benefit from this offense because of his yak skills.
20:15That's the second Chargers reporter or writer who wrote that, but he favors McConkie over Quentin Johnston, Daniel Popper.
20:22He also said that Omarion Hampton could be one of the best running backs in the NFL if he stays healthy.
20:30Okay, Nick. Agreed. Co-signed. Cool. Yeah. It's funny because I believe he was pretty low on Quentin Johnston once upon a time.
20:38Like America? Yeah, exactly. I shouldn't say that because I could be wrong about that and I shouldn't have scratched that.
20:46Just in case I'm wrong, I don't want to misspeak for someone Nick Cosmider of the Athletic thinks that RJ Harvey could
20:54make a big jump in year two if he's more efficient running in between the tackles.
21:00But I read the article. I didn't really think it was so painting an optimistic picture for RJ Harvey.
21:07Cosign. Woody Marks is going to play on third down.
21:11He split with Dario Gumbawale last year. Gumbawale is not on the Texans now.
21:16So Marks could have an expanded role on third down.
21:20Both of those players had exactly nine targets and exactly six catches on third down last year.
21:26And the Athletic reports that Kirk Cousins took all of the Raiders' first team reps in camp recently.
21:33We had a question from the chat. Who do we think had the most hot dogs this past weekend?
21:40Oh, come on. Was it you? Well, it wasn't, but I'm pretty sure everybody would guess me.
21:47I think I was talking up hot dogs, though, on the show.
21:51I can't remember. I have this new recipe I wanted to try, and I tried it, and it was really good.
21:59Yeah? Yes, I boiled them in beer. My brother-in-law told me to boil it in beer.
22:05So I had a 12-ounce can of Modelo. You don't want like an IPA apparently.
22:11I don't even know what that is. Is this the closest you've ever gotten to getting drunk?
22:17Yes. So I was like 12 ounces of beer, but I did like 7 eighths water and then one can of beer.
22:25Boiled the hot dogs for like two minutes. I don't have a grill.
22:30Then you're supposed to put them on the grill.
22:34I put them on the stove for like a minute.
22:37Then turn off the boiling water, throw the hot dogs back in, let them sit there for a little bit and then eat them.
22:46That's pretty good. It's pretty good. So I had two hot dogs.
22:51Did I win? You had more than me. Two hot dogs and a sausage.
22:56USA. I'm going to guess Heath probably won them.
22:59I don't think he eats hot dogs. No? I'm going to text him.
23:04All right. Round 7 through 9. What'd you say?
23:08I think he's a 4th of July hot dog guy.
23:11I think he's more of a pulled pork guy.
23:15Right. Right. Right. He's more refined than that when it comes to his meats.
23:20All right. Round 7 through 9. Let's start with the four running backs in round 7.
23:26Jamie, it's Pollard, Chuba Hubbard, Raman Stevenson, and RJ Harvey.
23:30Is that how you have them ranked? Pollard, Hubbard, Stevenson, Harvey?
23:34For those guys, yes. No, yeah, yes. I think so.
23:38I go back and forth to Pollard and Hubbard.
23:41But yes, Stevenson, I do not have Harvey in this with these other three guys, though.
23:47I think Harvey, I have Dobbins over Harvey. I'd rather take the chance on Dobbins staying healthy forever along years.
23:55I just think Jonah Coleman's presence is going to be a problem for Harvey if Dobbins misses time.
24:01Harvey should lead the backfield in receptions, but I just don't see the same path to success for him unless both guys
24:10get hurt because I just think we're going to see Coleman getting those rushing opportunities even if Dobbins misses time.
24:17But Pollard and Hubbard are great picks in round seven.
24:21Stevenson is fine in this range. You know, this is just one of those scenarios with Stevenson where he may end up
24:29being better than Trevion Henderson once again. I think we're all hoping that Henderson is the better of the two because he's so much more explosive.
24:39But obviously what we saw at the end of last season into the playoffs through the Super Bowl, the Patriots were definitely
24:47in the Ramondre Stevenson camp and I don't see that changing dramatically barring an injury.
24:53Dave, again, it's Pollard, Hubbard, Ramondre, Harvey. How do you rank them?
24:57Chuba's first. I'm with Jamie though. I go back and forth between Chuba and Pollard.
25:03I think they're both going to end up splitting.
25:06I just think that Chuba maybe just has a little bit of an edge.
25:12I do think back to 2024 and what he was able to do and I've looked at Pollard's last three seasons and some of them have been okay.
25:22He's gotten a lot of work each of those three years, at least 16 touches per game in each of those seasons
25:30and I don't think he's any better than 13.1 PPR points per game, which candidly for round six or round seven, that's
25:39pretty dang good, but last year he was not very good.
25:43He had two games last year where he was awesome and other than that it was just nothing doing.
25:50I don't have Harvey or Stevenson on the same tier.
25:54For now in full PPR, I do have Harvey over Stevenson.
25:58I am not a big fan of Ramondre because I water cooler the stats out from his last three regular season games
26:06and the dude didn't even average 10 PPR points per game for the majority of the regular season.
26:13If not for a garbage time touchdown, the playoffs he wouldn't have had good numbers for the postseason either.
26:20You're talking about Ramondre? Ramondre is actually last on this list in full PPR.
26:25Behind Harvey? Behind Harvey. That's not an endorsement of Harvey either.
26:29It's more of me worried about Ramondre Stevenson having a very low ceiling.
26:34Oh, man. I texted you over the weekend. I did all this Ramondre research and it was just so boring.
26:42But it was also kind of fascinating. He had a really good year and he finishes RB22 per game.
26:49He did that with only nine touchdowns in 14 games.
26:53And what I think is most interesting here is that we know what Travion did in the three games that Henderson missed.
27:01But right before Henderson got hurt, he was starting to have a huge role.
27:06That was weeks five through seven and he played over 70% of the snaps Ramondre did in all three games.
27:14So like the first four weeks everything was pretty even between the two guys.
27:19Weeks five through seven Ramondre Stevenson dominated the snaps, not necessarily the touches, but he dominated the snaps and then he got hurt.
27:28And then after that it was pretty even again.
27:31And in the playoffs, I think it was pretty even with a slight, slight favor to Ramondre.
27:37I think it's funny when you look at what these coaches tend to do in the playoffs, look at the Rams, you
27:46look at the Bears, you look at the Patriots, they tend to go back to their veteran running backs a little bit more.
27:54Of course, that doesn't mean it's going to happen again the following regular season, but he was starting to really dominate that role.
28:03I don't know, does that even matter, Jamie? Or does the way the rest of the season played out matter more, which was a fairly even split?
28:13Again, I think that when you look at the Patriots backfield, there's hope and there's reality.
28:19And the hope is Trevion Henderson can be the focal point.
28:23I don't think if they're both healthy, that we're going to get a significant split in playing time because they clearly trust
28:31Stevenson to do a lot of things. And I think that will continue.
28:36But when you look at the two play, obviously, you know, we talk about this a lot, Adam, this is where, you
28:45know, your eyes have to tell you that one player is much more explosive than the other.
28:51So if you watch the Patriots and you watch Henderson, you know what he's capable of doing, then that's the type of guy you want to see.
29:01You want to see him in a featured role and okay, yeah, he may not take the two or three yard run,
29:09but there's 50 yard run potential there on almost every play.
29:14And so hopefully that's the next evolution and can be a little bit better in pass protection so that gets him more
29:22involved in the passing game and can benefit from a better passing attack because now A.J.
29:28Brown and Romeo Dobbs are there and that's a huge upgrade in the receiving court.
29:33So I would rather take the chance on Henderson.
29:37Now I'm, I don't know where Dave is and Heath comes out on this, but like I'm not going all in on Henderson.
29:45He's not a top 24 guy for me. He's just barely ahead of Stevenson because the reality is that as long as
29:54Stevenson's healthy, he's going to get work. And if the workload, there was only two games last year when both were healthy
30:02where Stevenson played less snaps than Henderson or Henderson played more snaps than Stevenson.
30:07And so clearly there is at least a 50-50 split going on here.
30:12Still probably a 60-40 split in favor of Stevenson.
30:15And what level of goal line opportunities continue to go his way, important playing time, snaps, pass blocking, all those things continue
30:24to go his way because he's more trusted by the coaches.
30:28And so Henderson needs those injuries or needs an injury to become a potential top 10 guy.
30:34So again, you're, you're taking the chance like best ball.
30:38It's Trevion Henderson without question. Redraft, it's closer. Uh, but again, I would just take the chance on the upside of what Henderson can be.
30:47So I think Stevenson round seven is a little early for me, but I think Stevenson is still in this range of of guys.
30:56I would take him over Harvey just because I don't really trust RJ Harvey this one.
31:02I gotta say, I personally I don't see myself drafting Ramondre Stevenson.
31:07The only thing, the only thing that makes me want to draft him is that he had again, in the 18 games
31:15that they played together, Stevenson and Henderson. He had eight of the nine goal line carries between the two of them.
31:23And that is enticing from a team that should have a pretty good offense, but I don't buy how efficient he was as a receiver.
31:32That was insane. He's not going to do that again.
31:36But as you've noted time and time again, Patriot schedule is much harder.
31:41Probably going to be more offensive snaps, probably going to be more passing opportunities.
31:46And I think we see some chances for Ramondre Stevenson to not be as efficient, but have a little bit more volume.
31:55Well, yes, I see your point. On the other hand, his target Perrault run rate was a lot higher when Stefan Diggs
32:03was off the field compared to when he was on the field.
32:07And I think AJ Brown is going to be on the field a lot more than Stefan Diggs was.
32:15But also, I think Travion Henderson, when he came out of college, his reputation was he's a great pass blocker.
32:22Obviously, it didn't play out that way last year, but I just think another year in the system, I think Henderson's going
32:30to take some of that role away from Ramondre Stevenson.
32:34It looks like a split, and then we all can acknowledge that Travion has more explosive playmaking ability, more upside.
32:42I just don't know. I think it had to be round nine.
32:46Like you said, too early for you, Jamie, I think it had to be round nine for me, building your team.
32:54comes down to what did you start with and what do you need?
32:59If you go with a hero RB approach and you took that one running back in the first or second round and
33:07you're taking a out out to the best running back in their back field or anybody in round nine, especially if it's
33:15Monongah, Coram, Brooks, one of those guys that could be huge if they get that starting opportunity.
33:22I think it depends on your build. If you take two running backs early, taking Ramondre Stevenson as your third running back probably doesn't make much sense.
33:32But if you do the hero or RB build, this is the range where you're taking somebody I mentioned it was kind
33:40of an even split after Stevenson got back from injury, but I think I'm sort of underselling Henderson's role because he came
33:48back in week 12 he didn't really play that much.
33:52So weeks 13 through 18, Travion Henderson had 21 more carries than Ramondre.
33:57Some of that was they blew out a couple of teams by 28 or more points in consecutive weeks and Travion had
34:05some of the work later in the game but not really.
34:09He just got more carries. It was really weird and Stevenson got more catches.
34:15All right, so there's that and then I guess the last question I'd have for the Patriots backfield is Dave I talked
34:23about you want to have a successful guy in a split situation.
34:27You need a team that's going to run a lot of plays run up have a ton of running back carries like
34:36the Rams and the Bears last year. Could the Patriots fit that mold?
34:41I think they'd be a half notch behind that mold, but a lot of that's baked into how I believe in Drake
34:49May and what he's capable of doing and the additions, Jamie brought it up, AJ Brown, Romeo Dobbs being added to that
34:57receiving core, tack on the schedule being tougher. There could be a lot of game scripts that are great for Drake May
35:05and AJ Brown and even Romeo Dobbs a little bit and maybe not as good for the running backs.
35:13I don't know how comfortable I am with Trevion Henderson being ranked as a top 60 player for me, but I do
35:21expect him to take a step forward in terms of workload.
35:25If he has a clean training camp, and I'm sort of banking on this, I guess, with my rankings, then I could
35:33see him leading the way and Ramadre still owning the goal line, which is important, but not necessarily doing as much in the passing game.
35:43Let's face it, Trevion had some really bad moments last year, and they really brought him along slowly.
35:49We talked to Damian Harris about it, and he said that doing the little things is a big deal in Joshua Daniels'
35:58offense, and Trevion didn't do a good job on the little things, and that's why Ramadre played more.
36:04And those last three games for Ramadre totally spiked his fantasy production.
36:09If you look at those first 11 games or so that he played, he had three touchdowns.
36:15He averaged two and a half targets per game, and I don't want to get stuck with that in round seven.
36:23I'm with Jamie. There's no way I'm taking Ramadre Stevenson where his ADP is right now.
36:29What separates Chuba Hubbard from Tony Pollard, if anything?
36:33His backfield mate has torn his ACL in the same knee in consecutive seasons, and we just don't know how ready he's
36:41going to be, and we know the coaching staff loves him.
36:45That's the start. The continuation is that Brian Dable's track record generally is using multiple running backs until he has one that
36:53he's in love with, I don't know if Tony Pollard is going to be the one that he's in love with, which
37:01means we're going to continue to see Pollard and Spears split.
37:06It could lead to Pollard being pretty decent. He could have that goal line role, obviously.
37:12I don't know if he's going to work a lot of passing downs.
37:16I think he's just going to be okay, and I think Chuba is a little bit more upside unless slash until Jonathan
37:25Brooks really shows that he's A, durable, and B, just as explosive as he was when he played at Texas.
37:32Jamie, same question. What separates Chuba Hubbard and Tony Pollard?
37:36Really, for me, it's the potential of three guys versus two because I think the addition of Singleton could be a little
37:44bit of a problem for Pollard, whereas as Dave said, Hubbard is basically operating as the featured guy with the potential and the hope.
37:53And listen, I think we all would love to see Jonathan Brooks come out, be the dynamic running back that he was
38:02in Texas, and show that he's 100% healthy, but that's such a huge if.
38:07And so, you know, this is one of the biggest storylines to follow in training camp.
38:13You know, he's certainly a player that could see a huge spike in ADP.
38:18Like, if he looks explosive and you're getting more and more positive reports, like, the drumbeat is already there, you know, based
38:26on what we've heard out of minicamp and just this entire offseason.
38:31And so, if we get to camp and it's Brooks and Hubbard are splitting the first down reps and Brooks just looks
38:39so much more dynamic and so much more explosive, like, it's easy to take Pollard over Hubbard at that point.
38:47You know, again, Pollard quietly finished the season very strong, you know, despite the fact that the team was not playing very well.
38:55Cam Ward started to look better. Tony Pollard started to look better.
39:00You have an upgraded offensive coach. You certainly have an upgraded receiving core.
39:05And Pollard, I think, still has the potential for one more good season where he can surprise some people.
39:12So, I don't think he's like, and I think these two guys fall in the category, but I'll just lump them both together.
39:20I don't know if either of these two guys could be Javante Williams of just, hey, opportunity is there because the offense
39:29I don't think is as dynamic in these two teams as it is in Dallas.
39:34But I favor the offensive line for the Panthers.
39:38I favor the situation slightly for Hubbard, again, just because even though Singleton really hasn't gotten a lot of hype, they did
39:46draft a running back, whereas, again, Carolina let somebody walk and didn't necessarily make a huge attempt to replace them.
39:53So Spears isn't really so much a concern because I don't know, he'll definitely play and he obviously is going to take
40:02some playing time away from Pollard, but he's had such a hard time staying healthy and I just don't know if he's
40:10the type of player that's going to ruin Tony Pollard.
40:14Jonathan Brooks can absolutely crush Chuba Hubbard. Sure, yeah, and I think with Pollard, I mentioned he's finished between 22 and 30 per game the last three years.
40:24Two of those have been with Tennessee and there is, I think, you know, 2024 especially, 2024, 13.9 carries when Tajay Spears
40:33was healthy, 13.9 per game when Spears was healthy, 19.3 without Spears being healthy, whether that was missing a game or barely playing.
40:412025, it wasn't quite as dramatic, it was 16.4 carries without Spears or with him playing 25% or less of the snaps
40:49and 14.5 carries per game with Spears. That is a pretty big deal.
40:54If that's going to continue, I don't really think Pollard has big upside.
40:59I still think he could hit at RB28 and ADP, but if you look at the last five games of the year
41:07when he averaged 100 rushing yards per game, Tony Pollard was getting 71% of the running back carries.
41:14He's not going to play on passing downs that much, so he probably needs to really dominate the carries, and 71% would
41:22be pretty close to that, and then obviously you just need their offense to improve and get some more goal line carries.
41:31He's been kind of like Breeze Hall in that regard.
41:35He just hasn't had a lot of chances to score.
41:38All right, so I guess those are some questions you'll have to ask yourself.
41:44Will the Titans offense be good enough, and will he hopefully we'll get some reporting on it?
41:50Will he really start to just be the true lead running back and not even be in a 65-35 kind of split?
41:58Probably needs a bigger split than that. And if you've heard us over the last 20 minutes or so talking about these
42:06running backs and you're squeamish to draft any of them, congratulations.
42:11You're an early RB drafter. Yeah, you should be.
42:14I mean, looking at how often running backs drafted in the first two to three rounds, specifically two rounds, finish top 12.
42:22I don't really think you should go without a running back in the first three rounds personally.
42:29I shouldn't say that, but I think it's easier to find a wide receiver late than a running back personally.
42:36At least I think that's what the stats would tell us.
42:40That group of receivers that we're starting to see in rounds three, four, and five are solid.
42:47Yeah, you like it, right? They're obviously not top five caliber players unless a lot of things go right, but I think
42:55just looking at it like where the running back tier drops off is pretty startling.
43:01You know who I'm really starting to like by the way when we'll go to break after this?
43:07Really starting to like Travis ETN, Achan. Starting to feel it.
43:11You should be. Well, not everybody feels that way.
43:15Eh. See? All right, topic for another day. It's going to be a good offense.
43:20Back on Fantasy Football Today. Two running backs going in round eight, Kenneth Gainwell and Rico Dowdle.
43:27Dowdle is the new Gainwell in some ways. Sort of.
43:31Who do you like better, Dave? Gainwell or Dowdle?
43:34This is PPR that we're talking, by the way, but you can say any format.
43:40Dowdle. Rico Dowdle. Why? Because I think he's got potential to still catch passes and won't be to the same level as Kenneth Gainwell.
43:49I love the connection that he's got to Mike McCarthy in Pittsburgh.
43:53Jalen Warren and he should split carries. It could be annoying.
43:57It could be just like how it is in Chicago between Swift and Mononga.
44:02But we've seen him play well. We've seen him lead all fantasy running backs in a given week at times.
44:10And the Steelers, I still think they've got a solid offensive line.
44:14I think they're going to lean on both running backs.
44:18I would say it's probably going to happen where Jalen Warren plays more on passing down Sanrico Doudle, but they've both seen
44:27similar target per game averages over the last two seasons.
44:30And so I think there's some potential for Doudle to win at the goal line, still catch the ball a decent amount,
44:39still play a decent amount, and have a solid if not startable role for fantasy managers.
44:45Jamie? Bucky Irving? I'll take Bucky over these guys.
44:48I don't want to overvalue Kenneth Gainwell after what he did last year.
44:53There is the chance that Doudle could be the best running back in Pittsburgh.
44:58I think for Gainwell to have that opportunity, it would take Bucky Irving getting hurt.
45:04To me, Gainwell and Rashad White are very similar type of gambles.
45:08In that in PPR, they're probably going to catch a lot of passes.
45:13There is the chance because of the guys they're playing behind Irving more so injury than Krosky Merrick, but there's chances for
45:21those guys to be the best running backs on their team.
45:25In the case of Doudle, he could be because of what Dave alluded to, the connection to McCarthy, the fact that Jalen Warren doesn't have the track record.
45:36I think he was fine last year, but doesn't have the track record of being a featured guy.
45:43Doudle can come in and be that first and second down option.
45:47You saw it with game last year, and I think will be the case with Aaron Rodgers is that there's going to
45:56be a lot of passes to the running back.
45:59I don't know if Doudle necessarily wins that role per se or has those opportunities compared to Jalen Warren.
46:06If Doudle doesn't have that, then he could be a trap back because he's going to probably need a lot of touchdowns
46:14to return value even in round seven. Again, you're taking the gamble on that he's got the chance to be the best running back in Pittsburgh.
46:24I think if you're just hoping for a 60-plus catch season for Kenneth Gainwell, then you're drafting him ahead of Doudle until we get to camp.
46:34If Bucky Irving continues to struggle with the shoulder injury and we get again 1A, 1B, that now becomes 1 and 1A,
46:42or even Gainwell is better than Bucky Irving. Then there's easily you're going to take Gainwell over Doudle.
46:49This Pittsburgh backfield is another big storyline in terms of who's going to be the lead running back and probably more importantly
46:57who's going to play on pass downs. If Rico Doudle gets that role and if he pushes Jalen Moore into the side
47:05because of the McCarthy relationship, then it's easily Doudle and there's not even a question.
47:11I would be shocked if that happened. This is a crazy take.
47:16I'd rather have Kyle Mononga or Blake Corum than either Gainwell or Doudle even though if there are no injuries to Bucky
47:24or Warren or Swift or let's just say any running backs ever in football.
47:29The difference in ADP is like one round. Yeah, sorry, I'm trying to articulate this.
47:35If the running backs don't get injured, I feel like Gainwell and Doudle should be going ahead of Corum and Mononga because
47:43those guys have the chance to catch passes and starter and the guys in Chicago and Los Angeles if they get hurt,
47:51I think Mononga and Corum would be a lot better than Gainwell and Doudle.
47:56Do you agree with that? Especially Gainwell because Sean Tucker is still there.
48:01It's possible Doudle could be awesome in Pittsburgh if Warren were out because he'd catch a ton of passes.
48:08Thoughts on that? Who's got the most injury upside?
48:12Again, that comes down to how you build your team and how you draft.
48:17If you're taking who's got league winning upside, you're 100% right.
48:21If Mononga or Corum ever get those starting opportunities, as I said before, there's top 15 potential for either one of those two guys.
48:30It's very difficult to see that on those offenses.
48:34That being said, if there's not an injury, then Gainwell is going from what he did in Pittsburgh last year.
48:41He did run the ball well too. He was just catching passes.
48:46When he got the chance to be a rusher, we saw the ability that Philly was hoping to see once upon a time.
48:54Doudle coming off a offense with who they're sharing with, who knows how this is all going to play out.
49:02They may do nothing for you for 10 games and maybe two or three they're absolutely those league winning type of guys.
49:10I can be awesome as we saw in his rookie season.
49:14He could be an absolute fall on his face bust as we saw last year at times.
49:21Gainwell could be the best running back in Tampa Bay.
49:24I would still take Gainwell over Mononghi and Quorum.
49:28I certainly understand if that's the way you want to draft and take the upside of what Mononghi or Quorum can be.
49:36It's weird to 16.2 or more PPR fantasy points in six of his last eight games last year.
49:43Jalen Warren played in all those games. He was basically a league winner.
49:48Now Rico Dowdle goes to Pittsburgh probably will play a different role because so much of that was receptions.
49:55But also I touchdowns six catches for 35 yards he scored 31.4 fantasy points.
50:00So maybe Rico Dowdle has huge upside and maybe Jalen Warren has huge upside if one of the guys in that Pittsburgh
50:08backfield gets hurt or maybe Caleb Johnson spoils the party or something.
50:13I just think it's a mistake to assume that everything is going to stay status quo in Pittsburgh when so much has changed in Pittsburgh.
50:22Arthur Smith is gone. Mike McCarthy is here. Michael Pittman Jr.
50:26is there. Jeremy Bernard is there. There was a report this past week about Pat Friermuth having a role in the passing game.
50:35This is going to change a little bit. Yeah, Heidenreich is there too.
50:40He's fun. I don't know how many weeks he'll be active.
50:44He was compared to Randall Cobb on draft day.
50:47That can tell you how Mike McCarthy thinks about Heidenreich.
50:51There are a lot of moving parts that are going to change how that offense operates.
50:57I pass blockers at their position and who is going to be better.
51:02Which two players? Warren and Game 1. Two of the highest.
51:06Jalen Warren and Kenneth Game 1. Game 1 will sign with Pittsburgh.
51:11Jalen Warren is a very good pass protector. I don't know where Rico Dowdle comes out in that.
51:17I don't think he's a guy. I think in the last two years Dowdle has been a lot better than Warren one
51:26year according to PFF and Warren has been a lot better than Dowdle one year.
51:31They both have played on third down. I lean toward Warren as the third down back.
51:37kind of makes sense to me. But Dowdle has a case.
51:41Are Gainwell and Dowdle all that different than Rashad White who is five running backs after them?
51:48They're 32 and 33. Rashad White is running back 37 being drafted in round nine.
51:53Jamie are are Gainwell and all that different from Rashad White?
51:58No, I think Gainwell and White again, another Spider-Man type of player.
52:02You do have some uncertainty about the lead running back.
52:06Probably feel a little bit more comfortable with his resume is.
52:10But Ja'Kory Krosky Merritt is not going to be the passing downs guy.
52:15Rashad White is going to be the guy they use in that regard.
52:20He's got three seasons on his resume of 50 plus catches.
52:24So playing in an offense right now that has Terry McCorn and maybe Chico Conquo and maybe this and maybe that and
52:32a lot of question marks in terms of the pass catchers like Rashad White does have an opportunity to definitely play a
52:40role in the passing game and can easily overtake Krosky Merritt if he struggles.
52:46Now you look at the way that plays on first and second down so the only way I say that is because
52:54it keeps Rashad White in this range and allows you to take somebody that still has huge potential now again we get
53:02to camp and it's Rashad White playing on first second down he's also working in passing downs he's going to be a
53:10three down back blah blah blah like this is going to drive up his ADP understandably so and probably put him in
53:19the round six range so I think just in the case of Rashad White Kenneth Gamewell Rico Dowdle I move this was
53:27something that I think was an easy pairing and was discussed the minute we got to the end of the season and
53:35it was okay they're not going to bring back Rashad White he's going to and go to Stefan Diggs who's got ties
53:43to the area went to Maryland that's the rumor you're hearing now I don't even think that impacts Rashad White I I'm
53:52a little surprised to see Brooks in this range right now does that feel a little premature to you guys we'll get
54:00to Dobbins in a second does that feel a little premature to you it does yep it's based on upside which is
54:08and a lot of dudes who sucked and so there's a pretty decent chance that you're going to draft somebody who sucks
54:17in this range therefore looking at the upside that Jonathan Brooks offers of course that's tantalizing we don't know if it's even
54:25going to be remotely close to happening because we don't know what he's going to look like by the time training camp
54:33rolls around so it's just pure speculation at this point and there isn't a ton of upside with J.K.
54:40Dobbins who averaged 11.6 PPR points per game and 10.5 non PPR points per game last year he's a touchdown reliant running
54:48back he's not going to work on passing downs but when he's played he's been pretty good and I would imagine that
54:57he's going to be the lead back for Denver until much upside but probably doesn't have too much downside either you're going
55:05to gravitate toward him in this range and Dobbins is a guy you might take a little earlier in non or half
55:13PPR than you are in Chuba Hubbard longest run last year was 14 yards so that's why you're looking at Brooks and
55:21again chance to be the lead guy there with as much as Dave said they like Chuba Hubbard they're not cutting Chuba
55:30Hubbard he could still be the same locker room guy he doesn't need to get the work to be a good teammate
55:38and a good player if Jonathan Brooks is the guy Jonathan Brooks going to play I don't know what happened to Chuba
55:46Hubbard last year he did have an injury fairly early in the season maybe he just wasn't healthy coming back not just
55:55that but Chuba Hubbard in 2024 he was 106 carries and 51 catches he was a full time workhorse running back what
56:03did you say about him last year that I didn't draft him in any leagues because you thought he was just a
56:11guy I did I and my point on Chuba Hubbard was they signed Rico Dowdle they drafted Jonathan Brooks they drafted Brooks
56:19in 24 yeah they did all these things that suggested to me that they the fact that Jonathan Brooks is his backup
56:28and I don't even know how good Jonathan Brooks is he barely played in college and he's got like 15 carries in
56:36the NFL or something like that and two torn ACLs Chuba Hubbard could just fall into 330 touches or something like that
56:44and just blow away everybody in Travis is little he could I haven't been the big burger dynasty league so I'm hoping
56:52but before he got hurt there wasn't a game where Chuba didn't have any less than 9.6 PPR points per game so
57:01he got off to a solid start he had a couple of good games and a couple of just okay games after
57:09he came back from injury he had one game with more than 9.6 PPR points it was 20 points it was this
57:17off season they must know that Chuba is healthy and they're ready to say he's the back stop at running back we
57:25know we've got Brooks he's got upside but we've got Chuba and he can handle the rock if need be see you
57:34say that though I almost feel it's the more Brooks than Chuba because they know what they have in Chuba they don't
57:42know what they have in Brooks they have what they hope they think is a stud in Brooks which is why they
57:50drafted him in round two in 2024 and if that guy is healthy and if that guy can do what he's capable
57:58of Chuba Hubbard is going to have a similar situation to what he had last year if not sit on the bench
58:07a lot more yeah and I think all of this whole conversation is to me kind of relevant for Ted Earl McMillan
58:15because I think I think the Panthers want to or they might trust him for just that role but give him the
58:23Sean Tucker treatment but Donald would do that 15 20 times a game you know at times I'm saying do they end
58:32up bit about him but sure Jamie I don't think you talked about Dobbins you like him better than Harvey yeah I
58:40again I think that Harvey is in a spot where he scored a lot of touchdowns last year 12 touchdowns last year
58:48the bulk of that came after Dobbins was hurt in week 10 and I'm sure if you Sean Payton you're hoping that
58:56Dobbins is Mark Ingram and Harvey is tackles and so it almost is like if you want a piece of the Broncos
59:05backfield maybe just wait until the end option that we saw last year if there's a Dobbins injury and that's really what
59:13made his season last season but asterisk if training camp goes and there's some positive reports about Harvey being more efficient as
59:21a runner this goes back to the report you referenced earlier Adam yeah then that would encourage me on Harvey and to
59:29take him over Dobbins but for now I'm not going to the commanders there's a report that they're trying to get Krosky
59:38Merritt to bulk up and that's usually not something that we like seeing in the fantasy world we don't want our running
59:46backs getting bigger we want them to be lean or at least as whatever size they are when they're at their fastest
59:54and if he puts on too much weight and isn't as fast as he once was that could be problematic for Krosky
60:02Merritt White fits into the gap scheme runs that Anthony Lynn prefers that's who's been on the coaching staff for Washington for
60:11a while and Krosky Merritt is better in zone and so if they're going to do a mix of those two then
60:19you might see White more in situations in gap scheme runs where he's way more efficient way more explosive and you don't
60:27think of those two from Krosky Merritt White is one of the running backs I'm looking at trying to put on my
60:35bench in PPR leagues and I had some injury issues but by the end it was K Tron Allen who was doing
60:44better things and Allen was the one who I thought was better at the senior bowl and probably slightly better prospect but
60:52it's day three draft capital for both of them yeah so at this point I'm not drafting either one in redraft they're
61:00gonna be names you pick up off the waiver if they get an day three picks um gosh Ramondre definitely was I
61:09think Gainwell definitely was Harvey was round two that was that was undrafted right Rashad White was who signed him again who
61:17signed him McCarthy McCarthy oh right so check but yeah these guys these guys have made pretty good careers some of them
61:25as being day three picks uh all right oh I don't think I asked you this but fourth round for Pollard 128th
61:33overall by Dallas who's your favorite of these five running backs going in round nine Monongai Brooks Corum Rashad White J.K.
61:41Dobbins Brooks Wow okay I think I have Dobbins ranked the highest of the bunch okay oh no I'm sorry I have
61:49Dobbins right guys right all right certainly does not have the most upside um can I just share a an update on
61:58Dan listen to this your thoughts on this etiquette here so we're going to Philadelphia together I live like two and a
62:06half hours away he asked me if I would pick him up on the way which would add about 20 minutes to
62:14my trip basically cut it in half though and like an hour and a half would be without Dan an hour and
62:23a half would be with Dan so I decided to pick him up now good etiquette from Dan he is going to
62:31go to his parents house which is more on the way for me apparently um and cut down on some driving time
62:39but if you say to someone hey you've got like a two and a half two hour 40 minute drive I'm halfway
62:47there can you pick me up on the way isn't the most obvious thing to do to say I will drive the
62:56second leg I will drive the rest of the way like why would I drive him I should drive to him and
63:04he should drive me well if you weren't picking up Dan you driving the whole way yeah and you were planning on
63:12driving anyway yeah and you offered to pick him up no he asked me if I would pick him up so pick
63:20him up would imply you driving yeah but he I'll drive but I think he should have offered it's like when you
63:29go out to dinner no we should not offer to drive what's wrong with you what are you talking about oh I
63:37wish we had done this earlier we get a YouTube poll going I you I wouldn't make you drive two and a
63:45half hours I would tell you to pick me up and then I drive I don't know what if he drives your
63:53I think it's a really jam packed schedule I don't think we're going to have time I think you got to run
64:02the Rocky steps he's not allowed to run the Rocky steps he's never seen the three Benadryls and a gummy really I
