Aaron Jones

NegativeDepth Chart0:34

On bye week 6. Dave Richard recommends selling high on Aaron Jones if possible, expecting a committee situation once Jordan Mason returns from thumb injury. Jones has earned lead-back role but may need rest weeks once Mason is fully healthy; currently playing at high level but not in great health.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveProjection0:38

Ranked at the top spot (RB1) in week 6 running back rankings.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveRole5:45

True workhorse running back for the Jets with 24 rush attempts and four targets in recent game; despite tough matchup against Patriots, his high volume and role make him a start recommendation regardless of matchup quality or offensive strength.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveRole41:56

Available as a starting option for Week 6; source notes he is part of a roster with Ollie Gordon and Emmanuel Wilson, and can 'survive the bye week,' suggesting he is a viable start.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

PositiveProjection34:58

Brenton Strange is ranked as a top-12 tight end for week six and is a start recommendation. He is available as a waiver wire pickup for those losing tight ends to bye weeks (Detroit, Cincinnati, Miami, Minnesota). Strange has been playing well and has the opportunity to continue performing in week six.

Insight page
PositiveProjection36:27

In full PPR leagues, Strange is a top 10 tight end play this week. He has recorded eight targets and seven catches over the last two straight weeks; he's a check-down option for Trevor Lawrence, who will be under pressure against the Texans with Jacksonville's banged-up offensive line, forcing quick releases to his trusted targets.

Insight page
PositiveProjection39:23

Brenton Strange is recommended as a start for Week 6, positioned among the top tight end options for the week.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeRole36:38

Brian Thomas has become an afterthought in the Jacksonville offense over the last two weeks, with targets and involvement shifting to Parker Washington and Brenton Strange.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeValue42:17

Recommended to trade away (along with Woody Marks) for Chris Olave and Omarian Hampton; source frames the trade as 'basically Bucky for Olave,' suggesting Irving is the primary asset being given up.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeRole20:20

His play style creates uncertainty for Bears pass-catchers: he holds the ball, runs around, and either plays Superman or throws it away, meaning the receiver a play is designed for often doesn't get the ball. This unpredictability makes it difficult to trust any Bears wide receiver as a top-24 option. Chuba Hubbard. You hopes Williams watched Case Keenum's tape from the first game and learned to get the ball out on time, but remains concerned about his tendency to extend plays.

Insight page
NegativeProjection25:41

Williams is expected to return in Week 6 against Atlanta after missing three games with a hamstring injury; he is ranked as a top-12 quarterback but carries high variance—capable of scoring 45 fantasy points or 12 with neither being surprising; the Atlanta defense has been better than expected, creating some apprehension about his ceiling, and he is not expected to run as much as earlier in the season.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveMatchup18:06

Despite a disappointing Week 5 game, Tate is a start against the Colts in Week 6. The speaker expects a competitive game and notes that six receivers have scored at least 11 PPR points against Indianapolis this year, setting that as the floor for Tate. As the leader in targets for the Titans, Tate has a shot at reaching north of 15 PPR points and should be booked as a top 24 wide receiver.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeProjection0:27

On bye week 6; not playing to the level expected. Dave Richard suggests trading for him would require a third or fourth round pick equivalent (like Mike Evans in full PPR), indicating diminished expectations from draft capital invested.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeRole41:11

Not recommended as a start for Week 6; source suggests dropping Godwin in favor of other options like Luther Burden or Bernard in a no-DJ-Moore scenario.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeInjury19:19

Mispracticed with an illness on Wednesday in Week 6 preparation; health status is a concern to monitor. If Olave cannot play, Rashid Rice's value would skyrocket.

Insight page
PositiveRole42:02

Recommended as a start for Week 6; source expresses strong agreement on starting Olave.

Insight page
PositiveValue42:17

Recommended acquisition in a trade; source strongly endorses receiving Chris Olave (along with Omarian Hampton) in exchange for Woody Marks and Bucky Irving, framing it as 'basically Bucky for Olave.'

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeProjection5:36

Listed as a desperation option in the lower-end running back rankings, with touchdown dependency as the primary path to fantasy relevance.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveDepth Chart0:38

Returning from bye week; ranked in top 12 running backs for week 6.

Insight page

Colby Parkinson

NegativeRole37:08

Colby Parkinson has returned to the Rams lineup, but Tyler Higby has remained involved in the offense despite his return, maintaining target share and production.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveMatchup21:36

Loveland is positioned as a potential beneficiary of the Falcons' weakness against pass catchers; the Falcons have allowed a pair of wide receivers to score 11+ PPR points in four straight games, and the speaker believes Loveland and Raymond are the most likely to capitalize on this matchup.

Insight page

Courtland Sutton

PositiveValue41:37

Recommended acquisition in a trade; source endorses receiving Cortland Sutton (along with Jameer Gibbs and Emeka Buka) in exchange for Ramondre Stevenson and Buka Nakua.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeInjury0:44

Dealing with knee and hip injuries but practiced in full on Wednesday. Heath Cummings projects him as RB1 if Kyle Monongai is out; high-end RB2 if Monongai plays; high-end flex if Monongai returns. Swift was sharing carries in an every-other-drive situation last week during a blowout.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveProjection39:44

Dallas Goddert has top-five tight end upside for Week 6 with a much better matchup against the Panthers. He received nine targets last week, demonstrating high involvement. Harold Fanny Jr. and Sam Laporta combined for 15 catches, 135 yards, and three touchdowns in their last two games before the bye against the Panthers, suggesting favorable conditions. Goddert should be the number one or number two target option for the Eagles depending on Devontae Smith's status.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveMatchup16:46

Kincaid is a tight end worth considering in Week 6 against the Raiders, who are among the worst teams at defending tight ends. This matchup presents an opportunity for Kincaid to produce.

Insight page
PositiveRole17:26

Kincaid is a sit for Week 6 despite a favorable matchup against the Raiders; Josh Allen wants to get him involved again, but he currently lacks opportunity because defenses aren't focused on other Bills receivers. Kincaid's efficiency is high, but his target volume remains suppressed. The source suggests DJ Moore's return could help by forcing defenses to respect other options.

Insight page
NegativeBust37:36

Kincaid has been a major disappointment since week two. A fumble in week three created a trust issue with Josh Allen that has persisted over the last two weeks. Despite a favorable matchup against the Raiders—who have allowed at least 9.8 full PPR points to every tight end they've faced, including some with only four or fewer targets—there is uncertainty about whether Kincaid will regain Allen's confidence. He's been moved behind Tyler Higby in rankings.

Insight page

Darius Cooper

PositiveRole17:42

Cooper scores touchdowns and could be needed if Devontae Smith sits out again, making him a potential flex option in the 37-48 ranking range.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeInjury42:20

Injury status uncertain; source notes 'we don't know when David Montgomery is going to come back,' suggesting his return timeline is unclear and may impact the value of trading away Bucky Irving.

Insight page

Dawson Knox

NegativeUsage38:10

Dawson Knox received more targets than Dalton Kincaid in the previous week, positioning him as a potential touchdown option for the Bills against the Raiders. The source notes that one of Bill's tight ends could score, but uncertainty remains about which one.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeRole39:37

Devontae Smith's status affects Dallas Goddert's target share for Week 6; if Smith is unavailable, Goddert becomes the number one target option for the Eagles, otherwise he's number two at worst.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveUsage9:00

Wilson is getting 20 total touches each of the last two weeks and should continue to see heavy workload. The Broncos' running back has scored at least 12 PPR points or more in every game this season, and the Broncos defense is banged up mostly on the secondary, creating opportunities for Wilson.

Insight page
NegativeValue9:16

This could be a sell-high window for Emmanuel Wilson, as Zach Charbonnet could return in week seven, which would likely reduce Wilson's workload and opportunity.

Insight page
PositiveRole41:56

Available as a starting option for Week 6; source notes he is part of a roster with Breece Hall and Ollie Gordon, suggesting he is a viable start.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

PositiveProjection34:47

Hunter Henry is mentioned as a viable tight end replacement option for week six, available on waivers. He has been playing well or has the opportunity to continue playing well in week six and is ranked among the top options at the position.

Insight page
PositiveProjection35:02

Hunter Henry is projected to potentially score double digits and ranks in the top 12 tight end conversation based on his average upside. His production has correlated with Drake May's improvement in weeks four and five; May leans on Henry in third-down situations and overall. Henry is the most consistent flex option for the Patriots aside from Ramondre Stevenson.

Insight page
NegativeProjection36:50

Hunter Henry is Heath's ranked tight end in the 13–24 tier, positioned as a backup option for those who need to pivot from consensus tight end recommendations.

Insight page

Isaiah Davis

NegativeRole6:00

Saw limited touches in recent Jets game, with Braylon Allen dominating the backfield with 24 rush attempts, indicating Davis is not the primary back.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeRole5:56

After Sean Payton took over play-calling duties last week, Dobbins had his best game of the season while R.J. Harvey had arguably his worst. Chuba Hubbard. You expects Dobbins to get more work going forward as Payton leans into his veteran, potentially taking work off Harvey's plate. Against Seattle, if the Broncos are trailing (a likely possibility), Dobbins will see less work and Harvey more. If forced to start one of them, Dobbins is preferred, hoping for a touchdown.

Insight page

Jaleel McLaughlin

PositiveRole10:19

Jaleel McLaughlin is liked as a flex option and maybe even a high-end flex, particularly given the injury situation in Cleveland that may create opportunity for him.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveProjection19:29

Practiced in full and expected to be 100% healthy after quad injury. In his first two healthy games, he averaged 14.6 PPR points and 9 targets per game. The Eagles secondary, ranked fifth in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers, has already allowed six receivers to score 15.5+ PPR points. Coker should be considered a number-two fantasy wide receiver for Week 6.

Insight page
PositiveRole42:02

Recommended as a start alongside Chris Olave for Week 6; source expresses agreement on this pairing.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeRole42:07

Currently owned in a roster with Tyler Shuck; source discusses whether to drop Jalen Wright to add Jaden Daniels, suggesting Hurts is the primary QB but context indicates consideration of alternatives.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

PositiveProjection26:48

Winston is highlighted as a preferred start option for Week 6; Chuba Hubbard. You saw strong performance in the second half of the previous week and upgraded him from a sit recommendation, indicating confidence in his upcoming matchup.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveMatchup10:01

James Cook scored the Rams' first running back touchdown of the season last week, demonstrating his elite status compared to backup running backs like Tyler Algieri and Jeremiah Love.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection25:03

Goff is identified as a must-start quarterback in Week 6, indicating strong fantasy expectations for the matchup.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveValue42:07

Recommended waiver wire acquisition; source suggests spending 'somewhere in the neighborhood of 15%' of FAAB budget to add Jaden Daniels, indicating he is a worthwhile target.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeProjection22:12

The speaker is sitting Waddle in tonight's game due to ongoing frustration with his performance; even with Pat Bryant out last week and Sean Payton taking over play-calling, Waddle hasn't improved, and Bo Nix is not playing well. Against Seattle, Waddle should still start in three-receiver leagues due to roster scarcity, but if he has another bad game, confidence will drop significantly even in three-receiver formats.

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

NegativeRole42:07

Recommended to drop in favor of adding Jaden Daniels on waivers; source suggests he is expendable.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury9:46

Love has a nagging ankle injury and the Cardinals may sit him. The team has pass protection concerns and doesn't want to trust him in those situations, making him a sit recommendation despite being started in 75% of CBS leagues.

Insight page
NegativeProjection10:01

Love is ranked 24th in consensus, reflecting low confidence in his week 6 outlook. Despite being started in 75% of CBS leagues, the speaker would rather start Marshawn Lloyd, indicating a significant gap between market expectation and expert recommendation.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

PositiveProjection25:03

Burrow is identified as a must-start quarterback in Week 6, indicating strong fantasy expectations for the matchup.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

NegativeInjury0:34

Dealing with thumb injury; expected to return in week 7. Once healthy, will return to committee role with Aaron Jones, likely reducing Jones's workload.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

PositiveRole17:42

Raymond could be a big part of the Bears offense with Caleb Williams back under center, making him a potential flex option in the 37-48 ranking range.

Insight page
PositiveRole20:20

Numbers have been poor the last two weeks; he hasn't been on the field for Chicago. With Caleb Williams back against Atlanta, Raymond will face pressure, making it difficult to trust him as a must-start wide receiver. His role and target share remain uncertain given Williams' play style.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup21:36

Raymond is the speaker's preferred pick to exploit the Falcons' pattern of allowing two pass catchers to score 11+ PPR points in four straight games; positioned as a starter in three-receiver leagues and potentially two-receiver leagues.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveDepth Chart0:38

Returning from bye week; ranked in top 12 running backs for week 6.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveMatchup16:28

Coleman is favored over Khalil Shakir in Week 6 against the Raiders due to a much easier matchup; the speaker expects coverage on Coleman to be significantly less tough than what the Bills faced against the Rams. The Raiders allowed multiple downfield touchdowns and short throws to the Patriots receiving core and showed a weak pass rush, which should benefit Coleman in the flex range.

Insight page
NegativeRole41:11

Not recommended as a start for Week 6 in a no-DJ-Moore scenario; source prefers Luther Burden and Bernard as alternatives.

Insight page

Khalil Shakir

NegativeMatchup16:28

Shakir had the better game in Week 5 against the Rams with a couple of catches taken away due to penalties. He is a potential option in the flex range against the Raiders, though Coleman is preferred this week due to expected easier coverage.

Insight page

Kyle Monangai

NegativeInjury0:48

Dealing with toe injury; status uncertain for week 6. If he plays, DeAndre Swift becomes a high-end RB2 or flex rather than RB1.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeMatchup40:19

Kyle Pitts should not be started in Week 6 despite his best game of the season last week (five catches, 42 yards, one touchdown). The Bears rank third in fewest fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends and have done a very good job against the position this season. Michael Penix's health status remains uncertain, adding to the risk. Pitts is more of a stash than a start.

Insight page
NegativeRole40:38

Not recommended as a start this week; described as 'still more of a stash' given uncertainty around Penix's health and availability, suggesting limited offensive opportunity.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveValue25:05

Kyler Murray is recommended as a streaming option for Week 7 onward due to a fantastic upcoming schedule; the Vikings face Indianapolis (Colts) in Week 7 and Detroit thereafter, creating multiple high-upside matchups for streaming purposes.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeRole19:59

Recommended as a sit for Week 6. Concern centers on target share volatility with Caleb Williams back under center; in the first two games with Williams, Burden received limited targets. Williams' tendency to hold the ball, run around, and either play Superman or throw it away means the receiver a play is designed for often doesn't get the ball, making it difficult to trust Burden as a top-24 fantasy wide receiver. Prefer to treat him as a 10 PPR point receiver rather than a must-start.

Insight page
PositiveRole41:11

Recommended start for Week 6 over Keon Coleman, Chris Godwin, and Coleman Keon in a scenario with no DJ Moore; source prefers Burden as the play among these options.

Insight page

Malik Willis

NegativeProjection25:25

Willis has been disappointing through the first five weeks of the season; potential improvement depends on receiving corps health, specifically the availability of Caleb Douglas, Chris Bell, and Malik Washington playing simultaneously.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

PositiveProjection6:30

Dave's start recommendation: Packers' most utilized running back overall and near the goal line; capable of catching passes; expected to see 12 touches in a high-scoring game against Cowboys; Cowboys' defense is bottom-seven in rushing metrics (4.6 yards per carry, 27 missed tackles), susceptible to ground touchdowns from six yards or closer; positioned as low-end RB2 with touchdown upside.

Insight page
NegativeBust7:00

Heath's sit recommendation: Despite 12 touches per game (11 last week, 12 the week before), Lloyd's efficiency is poor at 2.8 yards per carry; touchdown-dependent for fantasy viability—without a touchdown, 12 touches yields only ~10 fantasy points; part of a three-back committee with Pierre Strong and Caleb Johnson, not a true workhorse.

Insight page
NegativeProjection7:49

Lloyd is a top 30 back and flex option, but his production has been heavily touchdown-dependent; he hasn't topped 50 total yards yet this season and has had a game with multiple catches that was 'ugly.' His value hinges on scoring, as without a touchdown last week, the excitement level would be minimal. The speaker notes that if he doesn't score, you're getting a miserable stat line.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup8:28

Lloyd has an opportunity this week given the matchup; the Packers' offensive line is getting better and may get healthier, which is a plus in his favor. The speaker suggests there's a start-sit disagreement on Lloyd, with some willingness to start him despite the concerns.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

NegativeRole25:47

Michael Penix has been getting more involved with Kyle Pitts over the last two weeks, but his health status remains uncertain heading into Week 6. This uncertainty affects the upside of Falcons pass catchers.

Insight page
NegativeInjury25:47

Penix Jr. is expected to play in Week 6 against Chicago despite a rib injury, indicating he will be available for fantasy purposes.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeRole35:21

Michael Pittman is unavailable for the Colts, but the speaker notes he doesn't really matter for fantasy purposes in this matchup.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

PositiveBreakout0:34

Described as a nice surprise for fantasy managers; has been performing well during the bye week period.

Insight page
PositiveRole41:56

Available as a starting option for Week 6; source notes he is part of a roster with Breece Hall and Emmanuel Wilson, suggesting he is a viable start.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

PositiveValue42:17

Recommended acquisition in a trade; source endorses receiving Omarian Hampton (along with Chris Olave) in exchange for Woody Marks and Bucky Irving.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveRole36:19

Parker Washington has become a primary target for Trevor Lawrence over the last two weeks, alongside Brenton Strange. With Jacksonville's offensive line banged up and the Texans expected to bring pressure, Lawrence will need to get the ball out quickly, and Washington is one of his trusted check-down options.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

PositiveProjection39:23

Pat Freiermuth is recommended as a start for Week 6, positioned among the top tight end options for the week.

Insight page

Pierre Strong Jr.

NegativeRole7:35

Took on significant passing-down work in recent Packers game, indicating role competition with Marshawn Lloyd in the backfield.

Insight page
NegativeUsage7:49

Pierre Strong took a lot of the passing down work last week for the Packers, contributing to a three-back committee situation that has been problematic for Packers running backs this season.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeRole37:06

Puka Nacua has returned to the Rams lineup, but Tyler Higby has remained involved in the offense despite her return, maintaining target share and production.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeInjury8:23

Status is pending; the team is waiting to find out what Judkins' injury status will be. Dylan Sampson is also eligible to return from injury.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveRole39:20

Ramondre Stevenson is the primary flex option for the Patriots, with Hunter Henry being the most consistent secondary flex option aside from him.

Insight page
NegativeValue41:37

Source suggests trading away Ramondre Stevenson (along with Buka Nakua) to acquire Jameer Gibbs, Emeka Buka, and Cortland Sutton; the trade is framed as favorable for the receiving side.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeRole6:41

After Sean Payton took over play-calling last week, Harvey had arguably his worst game of the season. He played 35% of snaps (down from prior weeks), ran a similar number of routes but wasn't targeted at all. Chuba Hubbard. You is not optimistic about Harvey, noting it's hard to trust him. If forced to start him in PPR, the hope is he catches four or five passes. If the Broncos trail Seattle (likely), Harvey will see more work, but Chuba Hubbard. You still doesn't feel confident starting either Denver back.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

NegativeRole35:24

Roman Wilson is unavailable for the Packers. Aaron Rodgers is throwing 38 times per game, which supports volume for remaining receivers.

Insight page

Roschon Johnson

NegativeRole0:23

Could be considered a desperation flex if Kyle Monongai is out. Had five catches last week, though all came during a blowout situation, limiting the sample size reliability.

Insight page
PositiveRole21:36

Johnson is positioned as a starter in two-receiver leagues based on the Falcons' matchup weakness against pass catchers; the speaker is optimistic about his role in the Chicago offense against Atlanta.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury0:00

Practicing on Wednesday in Philadelphia ahead of Week 6, indicating continued recovery from injury.

Insight page
NegativeInjury8:32

Barkley practiced on Wednesday in Philadelphia, signaling potential return or continued availability.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

NegativeMatchup33:47

Trevor Lawrence faces a very tough matchup against the Texans in week six. Historically, he does not perform well against this defense: in ten career meetings, he has only two games over 20 fantasy points, one of which came in the D'Amico Ryans era. Additionally, Jacksonville's left tackle will not play this game, forcing Lawrence to face Will Anderson and Daniel Hunter without his top pass protection. He is not a number one quarterback for week six.

Insight page

Ty Johnson

PositiveUsage5:30

In two of the last three weeks, Johnson has recorded over 50 yards receiving with four catches, positioning him as a potential PPR option in desperation situations at the lower end of the running back rankings.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

PositiveProjection34:10

Tyler Higbee is mentioned as a viable tight end replacement option for week six, available on waivers. He has been playing well or has the opportunity to continue playing well in week six and is ranked among the top options at the position.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeValue42:17

Recommended to trade away (along with Bucky Irving) for Chris Olave and Omarian Hampton; source endorses the trade as favorable for the receiving side.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveValue17:42

Worthy's value will increase if Rashee Rice is unavailable, making him a more attractive option in the flex range.

0:00Big show for you here on Fantasy Football Today.
0:02Got a fun game for you Thursday night between the Broncos and the Seahawks and a lot of players that are dealing with injuries.
0:08Four teams on a bye, a lot to cover, lots to get to with our rankings.
0:12I'm Jamie Eisenberg, that's Dave Richard, that's Heath Cummings.
0:15We're going to start what we always do at our running back rankings.
0:18But first, I want to let you know these are the players that you're not going to be able to start this
0:23week because these are the running backs who are on a bye for week number six.
0:27You got some big name guys, no Jameer Gibbs, no Chase Brown, obviously not playing to the level that he's been expected to play at.
0:34Aaron Jones, we'll see what happens coming back in week seven when Jordan Mason's healthy with the thumb injury and Ollie Gordon's
0:39been a nice surprise for fantasy managers. Dave, what would you be looking to trade for to acquire Chase Brown at this point?
0:45What level of player? I mean, it would still have to be a pretty good player.
0:49The people that drafted Chase Brown are still expecting or at least hoping for good things from him.
0:54Probably somebody that's the equivalent to what would be a third or a fourth round pick.
0:58If you look on the trade chart, Mike Evans is pretty close in full PPR.
1:01So somebody like that. You selling high on Aaron Jones?
1:04If you can, yes. Because I think that when Jordan Mason's back, this will be a committee again.
1:08Jones has earned the right to be the lead back in that committee.
1:12But I wouldn't be surprised once Jordan Mason's worked all the way back if Aaron Jones needs to take a week off at some point.
1:18He's been really used a lot and he's not in great health right now.
1:21Looks like the old Aaron Jones, but certainly playing at a very high level going into their bye week.
1:26Again, make sure those players not in your starting lineups.
1:29These are the players that you should have in your starting lineup as we take a look at our running back rankings, one through 12.
1:35And again, some shuffling because not having Jameer Gibbs there.
1:38So Bijan Robinson at the top spot, Kenneth Walker back off of his bye.
1:41Same with Chuba Hubbard. You see them in the top 12 here.
1:44But DeAndre Swift, we have this sort of still conversation going on with the Bears backfield.
1:48Now Swift dealing with a couple of injuries, knee and hip, practiced in full on Wednesday.
1:52Kyle Monongai still dealing with the toe injury. Heath, when you look at the Bears backfield, let's assume that there is no Monongai.
1:58And then give me the scenario if Monongai plays.
2:00But how are we approaching DeAndre Swift in regards to being the featured act versus maybe sharing once again?
2:05Well, and he was kind of sharing last week.
2:07It was still in every other drive situation. It's just they were getting blown out.
2:11And so they didn't have any rush attempts to account for.
2:14But I think we're going to start DeAndre Swift no matter who the second back is in this situation.
2:19He'll be an RB1 if there's no Monongai. He'll be a high end RB2 if Monongai's back.
2:23If Monongai's back, he's a high end flex. And I think if Monongai's out, Roshon Johnson's someone you could look at as a desperation flex this week.
2:30Did have five catches last week. So that's something that maybe he can work on.
2:33But all those catches did come in the blowout situation.
2:36So just something to keep in mind there. Let's take a look at the running back rankings 13 through 24.
2:41Again, this is where some of the questions come into play.
2:44And a lot of fantasy managers questioning about what to do with Ashton Gentry.
2:47So Dave, we got the ESPN report on Wednesday suggesting that the Raiders have had internal conversations about sitting Gentry because of
2:53the ankle and foot injuries that he's been playing through.
2:55Clint Kubiak comes out and speaks to the media and says he's playing practices in full.
2:59How confident are you in Ashton Gentry right now?
3:02I am confident that he will play. I am not confident that he will have great rushing efficiency.
3:06And that's saying something because this Bill's run defense has not been particularly good.
3:10We got a good look at them on Monday night, rather, against the Rams.
3:13And it wasn't that great. They weren't good against running backs on the ground or through the air.
3:18And all of Gentry's best production for fantasy has come through the air.
3:21You're hoping for checkdowns. You're hoping for wheel routes to help him and angle routes to help him put up numbers.
3:26I think he's an OK number two fantasy running back, not a top 12 guy.
3:30Yeah, the Bills are number two in most fantasy points allowed to the position.
3:33So hopefully there's a bounce back spot. If I'm Ashton Gentry, I want to play in this matchup as well just to
3:39see if he can work, get some of the numbers.
3:41No rushing touchdowns yet for him on the season.
3:44Only two receiving touchdowns so far this year. All right, let's take a look at the running back rankings, 25 through 36.
3:49And again, we have a game tonight between Denver and Seattle.
3:52And here's where you see the Broncos running back start to come into play.
3:56J.K. Dobbins and R.J. Harvey. Heath, how are you approaching Denver's backfield?
3:59Because last week, Sean Payton takes over play calling duties.
4:01And it was Dobbins having his best game of the season and R.J.
4:04Harvey having arguably his worst. I do not want to start these guys against Seattle.
4:08If I have to start one of them, it'd be Dobbins just hoping for a touchdown.
4:12We did see R.J. Harvey play 35% of the snaps, which was a little bit down.
4:16He still ran a similar number of routes. He wasn't targeted at all.
4:19They were trying to actually throw the ball a little bit more downfield.
4:23It's hard to trust with Harvey. I have one PPR league where I have to start him, and you're hoping that he catches four or five passes.
4:30Not as optimistic about him as I was going into last week.
4:33I'll take Harvey, but it's really close between the two of them.
4:36And like Heath, I don't really feel like starting either one of them.
4:39I do think the way the game unfolded last week opened the door for J.K.
4:43Dobbins to get more work and for Sean Payton to lean into his veteran and take some of the work off of R.J.
4:48Harvey's plate. If they're trailing against Seattle, which is a very likely possibility, you're going to see more Harvey.
4:53You're going to see less Dobbins. That's the only reason why I'd say to start Harvey, and it's got to be full PPR.
4:59All right, so a lot of different injury situations that we're keeping an eye on here.
5:03We have the Cleveland situation. We're waiting to find out what Quinchon Judkins' status is going to be.
5:07Dylan Sampson also eligible to return. We also have the situation in Philadelphia with Nosequan Barkley practicing on Wednesday.
5:12We'll talk about Damian Pierce in a second. Let's get to one last list of rankings here.
5:17You're going to hear us say when we start to talk about the starts and sits, really the running back start list ends about running back 17, 18.
5:24It gets pretty ugly after that. So when you get to this point in the rank list, it's really a lot of desperation plays.
5:30Ty Johnson, for example, two of the last three weeks he's been over 50 yards receiving with four catches, so maybe he can help you in PPR.
5:36You're hoping for a touchdown for Chris Rodriguez. We'll see how some of this all unfolds, but this is really a lot
5:42of desperation options if you're at this point in the rankings.
5:45Let's get to the starts and sits. Keith, you've got a guy on this list that is in a not easy matchup,
5:50but getting a lot of work in Braylon Allen.
5:52Yeah, that kind of tells you where we're at at running back.
5:55I don't generally want to start running backs, and I don't expect to catch a lot of passes against the Patriots, but
6:01Braylon Allen is kind of the – he's not quite the only back for the Jets.
6:05We actually saw Isaiah Davis touch the ball, but in that game it was, I think, 24 rush attempts for Braylon Allen.
6:11He didn't do much in the passing game, but he did have four targets.
6:14So this is a true workhorse running back, and it really doesn't matter the matchup or the quality of the offense.
6:19If you're a true workhorse, you are starting this week.
6:22Start Braylon Allen. Yeah, hopefully it's another strong game for him.
6:25And to be fair, tough matchup, at least in the one sense that the Browns had not allowed a touchdown to a running back at all.
6:31He was the first one to find the end zone against Cleveland in Week 5.
6:35All right, we've got a MarShawn Lloyd debate, which I always like when we have different opinions on this.
6:40So, Dave, you are starting Marshawn Lloyd. Heath, you are sitting Marshawn Lloyd.
6:43Let's discuss one of the most talked-about running backs all season.
6:46Yeah, this is going to be a barn burner, Jamie.
6:48Look, I don't want to start Marshawn Lloyd for style points.
6:51He's not great when it comes to efficiency, but this is the Packers' most utilized running back, both overall and when they're near the goal line.
6:58He's capable of catching passes, and I think this is going to be a high-scoring game.
7:02So, I'm going to want players in this game to have a chance to get some touchdowns.
7:06We know he's done that. Every touchdown the Cowboys have allowed to a running back on the ground has come from six
7:11yards or closer, so certainly they're susceptible there. And this is one of the defenses that is bottom seven in so many
7:17rushing metrics, 4.6 yards per carry, 27 missed tackles this year.
7:20Even somebody like Marshawn Lloyd can get a couple of missed tackles on his way into the end zone.
7:24I don't love him. He's a low-end number two running back for me, but he's somebody that I would count on for
7:3012 touches, and you hope he finds the end zone.
7:33Yeah, 12 touches, I think, is probably exactly right.
7:35He had 11 last week. He had 12 the week before that.
7:38The problem is when you're averaging 2.8 yards per carry, 12 touches doesn't go very well in terms of fantasy points.
7:43He was good last week because he scored two touchdowns.
7:46If he would have scored one touchdown, it would have been about 10 fantasy points.
7:49That's how bad this season has been for the Packers running backs.
7:52It's not a committee situation. It's a three-back situation.
7:55Pierre Strong took a lot of the passing down work last week, and I don't know why.
7:59Caleb Johnson was phased out earlier in the game, but then was the guy who was kind of putting the game away or working in garbage time.
8:06It was garbage time. It was 31-7 without all this carries.
8:08He's been a life better rusher than Marshawn Lloyd has been so far this season.
8:12I just don't have any... You might have to start Marshawn Lloyd.
8:15I don't want to make anybody... Right! Like, that's where we started.
8:18He's still a top 30 back. He's still a flex for me.
8:21But I really think if he'd only scored one touchdown last week, we wouldn't be very excited about him.
8:26Well, I think we're all in agreement. If he doesn't score, you're probably getting a miserable stat line.
8:31Probably. But we can say that about 20 different running backs.
8:33Oh, well... Not this miserable. It's 35 yards. Yeah, he hasn't...
8:36I mean, you've said it multiple times. He hasn't topped 50 yards, 50 total yards yet this season.
8:41He's had a game with multiple catches, and it's just been ugly.
8:44So hopefully he does score, and there's an opportunity here given the matchup.
8:47Obviously, I have... And his offensive line's getting better for the Pack.
8:50It is getting better. It might get healthier. So that's a plus in his favor as well.
8:54All right, so there's a start-sit disagreement there on Marshall and Lloyd.
8:57For me, I'm going to go with Emmanuel Wilson tonight.
9:00Love the fact that he's getting 20 total touches each of the last two weeks.
9:04I think that will continue. And the Broncos, every game so far this season, the running back has scored at least 12 PPR points or more.
9:10So Emmanuel Wilson should be in your lineup. Hopefully he takes advantage of this Broncos defense, which is banged up mostly on
9:16the secondary, but still opportunities here for Wilson to get a heavy workload once again.
9:19One more week maybe. So this could be your sell-high window for Emmanuel Wilson.
9:23Zach Charbonnet could return in week seven. We kind of touched on that a little bit here.
9:27You like Harvey better than Lloyd. For me, I'm going to sit Jeremiah Love.
9:31The Cardinals may sit Jeremiah Love. We don't know exactly what's happening there because of his nagging ankle injury, the pass protection
9:36issues right now going on, that they don't want to trust him in those situations.
9:40So if you want to go just take advantage of it right now, go pick up Tyler Algieri.
9:45He's available in about 20% of leagues still on CBS Sports.
9:47I don't know if you want to start him against the Rams.
9:50Last week, first time the Rams allowed a touchdown to a running back.
9:54It was James Cook. He's obviously a much better player at this point than both Love and Tyler Algier.
9:58It's just tough to trust him. Again, you'll see him ranked 24th for all of us.
10:02That's the consensus ranking. It's not a lot of confidence right now based on where Jeremiah Love is.
10:07I can't believe he's being started in like 75% of CBS.
10:10Look at the – Again. We just had a Marshall and Lloyd debate.
10:13Injuries. Yeah, I know. Injuries. But I'd rather start him than Love.
10:16Yeah, I'd rather start Love. I'd rather start Lloyd.
10:18But I get – talent-wise, you'd much rather have Jeremiah.
10:21Oh, of course. I think he saw the blueprint.
10:23If I complain and seem like I'm unhappy, I get traded because that's what happened with Marvin Harrison.
10:28All right, some sleeper running backs for you. So, Heath, touching on the injury situation in Cleveland, you like Jaleel McLaughlin as a flex?
10:34As a flex and maybe even a high-end flex.
10:36I'm not super excited about what he's going to do as a rusher in this game.
10:40If Quinshawn Judkins is out, they brought in Audrick Estimator.
10:42They'll probably chop up the rushing duties. But it's kind of been a little bit underreported.
10:46Deshaun Watson's thrown to his running backs a lot this year, like a 23% target share.
10:50I do think McLaughlin would be the guy to do that work for the most part.
10:54So, a good PPR flex, a mediocre half-PPR flex.
10:57I mean, look, you're going to hear me say it about Damian Pierce.
11:00Guys that get opportunities to get a lot of work, and it might be Jaleel McLaughlin getting a lot of work in
11:05Cleveland, you want to at least have that opportunity to use him as a flex if you need them for this week.
11:11Dave, Roshon Johnson, again, five catches last week. That's the main thing.
11:14And he said it already, just the fact that they were rotating drives in Chicago.
11:18And they didn't do much in the second half because they were getting buried on the scoreboard.
11:22Not sure that's going to be the case this week.
11:25Caleb Williams is also back. So, a running back who's going to be part-time has a chance to pick up a couple of receptions.
11:31It's a desperation play at running back. But if DeAndre Swift ends up missing practice at some point this week, Roshon Johnson
11:36might have a clear path to being the lead back.
11:39So, don't mind stashing him for now. 100%. Great call.
11:41And we'll see what happens with the Eagles backfield with Saquon Barkley.
11:44Missed practice on Wednesday. Did not play in week five in London in the game there against Jacksonville.
11:49And Damian Pierce came on for an injured Will Shipley.
11:51Had 11 carries. Had a couple catches. Did nothing really with it.
11:5414 yards on the ground and minus two yards through the air.
11:57But this is a much easier matchup against Carolina.
12:00They are number five in most fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs.
12:03And four guys so far this season. 11 PPR points or more.
12:06So, that could be the floor for Damian Pierce.
12:08Not a very talented runner. We could see Carson Steele getting work as well.
12:12So, something to keep an eye on there. But Damian Pierce does have potentially top 20 upside if, in fact, he does start for Saquon Barkley.
12:18All right. That's going to do it for our running back conversation.
12:21We're going to take a break right now. We'll come back.
12:24Get into some wide receiver talk. You want to talk about the players who are missing this week.
12:28Get ready because it's not pretty. You're going to have to do some creative things with your lineup here.
12:33We'll talk about that next on Fantasy Football Today.

12:54Terms and conditions apply. Welcome back to Fantasy Football Today.
12:57We're talking about wide receiver rankings here for week number six.
12:59And let's show you the players who are not going to play in week six because they are on a buy.
13:05And this is just a who's who of some of the best wide receivers in the NFL and some of the best fantasy wide receivers for this year.
13:12So you have the top two guys for Detroit, the top two guys for Cincinnati.
13:15Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and he's favorite player of all time, Malik Washington.
13:19So I'm curious to see who your sleeper is going to be because for the last three weeks or two weeks at
13:24least for sure, maybe three weeks, you've gone with Malik Washington.
13:27I'm going to find somebody who'll score you 11.5 fantasy points.
13:30I love it. I can't wait to hear who it is.
13:33All right, let's show you the rankings here. And again, some changes because you don't have a lot of those elite receivers.
13:38So here's the list, one through 12. And we did get some good news.
13:42We are getting some good news from an injury front, specifically the guy at number three, CeeDee Lamb, left week five with
13:47a quad injury, practiced in full on Wednesday. So we're good to go.
13:50But what we saw in that game last week in the loss against Tampa Bay was George Pickens was an absolute monster.
13:56Which version of Lamb and Pickens are we getting in this week's game, Dave, against Green Bay?
14:00It wouldn't surprise me if you got the best of both of them because this should be a track meet going back and forth down the field.
14:07And yeah, the Packers secondary has some really good talent.
14:10It's really more at safety than is a corner.
14:12I would expect CeeDee Lamb to probably be right back in that double-digit target range.
14:16And for George Pickens to maybe get three targets downfield that he can cash in on, what I'm really curious to see
14:21is what happens in the red zone. Because if CeeDee Lamb is his old self, he's going to be the one getting targets there and not George Pickens.
14:28I might have Pickens a little bit too high in my rankings.
14:31Listen, they're both great players. And, you know, we saw this kind of happen last year.
14:35Lamb got hurt with the ankle injury, missed essentially four games, three official games.
14:39And Pickens was still very good. He just took off in those three games when Lamb was out.
14:43All right, let's show you the rankings, 13 through 24.
14:46And there's a guy that is currently ranked for us consensus-wise but may have to come out of the rankings.
14:51And that's Rashe Rice. So he's dealing with this hamstring injury that knocked him out of week four.
14:55They had their bye in week five. And Rice still not practicing.
14:58Not a very encouraging sign. So, Heath, what's the expectation for Rice if he plays?
15:02And obviously the bigger question, if Rice is out, because there's no Tyguan Thornton, who had a huge game against the Raiders,
15:08do you like Xavier Worthy against some Cyrus Allen buzz?
15:10Like, what's the plan here for the Chiefs and fantasy managers?
15:13With that list of wide receivers you showed on a bye, if Rashe Rice is playing for the Chiefs, Rashe Rice is
15:18in your fantasy lineup, probably as a wide receiver two, not a wide receiver one.
15:22But you should start him. If he's out, then I get more excited about Xavier Worthy as a number three wide receiver.
15:28Probably, it's really tough to tell that his targets have been much closer to the line of scrimmage so far this season
15:33than they have been in the past. With Thornton gone, they may need to put him in that field stretcher role.
15:39There's been quite a bit of talk in Kansas City about Cyrus Allen feeling like he's going to get more opportunities starting this week.
15:45And so, he may be a deep stash. We'll see some more Jalen Royals.
15:48Hopefully, Travis Kelsey sees his target share rebound as well.
15:51And just keep in mind with Cyrus Allen, Thornton is gone.
15:53They bring up Justin Watson. We've been talking about Tyreek Hill as a potential replacement.
15:57That does not seem eminent at all at this point.
16:00So, Cyrus Allen may have some long-term appeal. You know, it could be a guy that you want to stash.
16:05Maybe somebody you'll talk about on Beat the Waver Wire when you discuss that with Adam.
16:09Or something on our Fantasy Football Tech Express show.
16:11You can find that on YouTube. All right. So, let's show you the rankings 25 through 36.
16:15And, again, there are still some bad news scenarios that we're dealing with here.
16:19One in particular is in Buffalo. DJ Moore did not practice on Wednesday.
16:22They have their bye in Week 7. So, it would not be surprising if Moore misses one more game dealing with that shoulder injury.
16:28You see Keon Coleman here at 35. Khalil Shakir also a potential option for you.
16:32Shakir had the better game in Week 5 against the Rams.
16:35And, again, there are a couple of catches that were taken away due to penalties.
16:38So, Dave, how do we feel about Coleman and Shakir in a much better matchup against the Raiders?
16:43I think they're worth talking about in that flex range.
16:45And this week I like Coleman more because I don't think the coverage on him is going to be nearly as tough
16:51as what we saw against the Rams. And look at what the Raiders allowed last week to the Patriots receiving core.
16:56A couple of downfield touchdowns to Kyle Williams. A couple of shorter throws to Efton Chisholm, to Mario Douglas.
17:01Romeo Dobbs was in the mix a little. So, we know that this secondary is a little bit weak.
17:06But the thing that really stood out to me was how bad their pass rush was against the Patriots.
17:11And the Patriots had their rookie left tackle playing for the majority of that game.
17:14Josh Allen should be able to do whatever he wants.
17:17And maybe, just maybe, they tilt their pass-run ratio a little bit in this game to take some pressure off of James Cook, who's had a fumbling issue.
17:24That would open the door for Coleman, then Shakir.
17:26And don't forget about Dalton Kincaid. I know we're talking receivers.
17:29But a tight end that you could consider as well.
17:31Raiders are among the worst teams at defending tight ends.
17:34So, hopefully, it's an opportunity for Kincaid as well.
17:36Let's show you the rankings 37 through 48. Again, you might be in some desperate situations.
17:40So, you need a few of these guys here.
17:42So, Xavier Worthy, his value, as Heath alluded to, will bump up if Rice is not there.
17:47Dave's going to tell you about Efton Chisholm and maybe his opportunities to help the Patriots if there is no A.J.
17:52Brown coming back. We could see Kalief Raymond be a big part of this Bears offense with Caleb Williams back under center.
17:58And Darius Cooper, look, he scores touchdowns. So, he might be needed if, in fact, Devontae Smith sits once again.
18:03All right, let's talk about some starts and sits at the position.
18:06Dave, you like Carnell Tate. It was a disappointing game for him last week, but a much easier matchup this week taking on the Colts.
18:12Yeah, a nightmare. So, I'm just kind of trying to delete that from my brain and focus on what we saw from
18:17Tate two weeks ago, three weeks ago. Those were double-digit PPR points, a monster game two weeks ago on monster target volume.
18:23And I actually think this is going to be a competitive game against the Colts.
18:27Six receivers have at least 11 PPR points against Indy this year.
18:30That's the floor for Carnell Tate. And I think he's got a shot at jumping up toward that ceiling, getting north of
18:3515 PPR points as the leader in targets for the Titans.
18:38Book him as a top 24 wide receiver. And look, if you're desperate, again, Wondell Robinson has scored 11 PPR points or
18:44more in three straight games with two touchdowns over that span.
18:46He's actually been the more productive Titans receiver. Not as high, but more productive in terms of more consistent.
18:51Heath, Devon Vele, a guy you're going right back to again.
18:54Bad game last week against the Vikings, but really everything was bad for the Saints last week.
18:58Yeah, that's kind of the point. He has at least six targets in every game, including last week when Tyler Schuch only threw 25 passes.
19:04He didn't throw 25 passes because they were successful running the ball.
19:07It was because they only ran like 40 plays because they couldn't stay on the field against the Vikings.
19:12I do not think they'll have any trouble staying on the field against the Giants' defense.
19:16Vele should bounce back and be a top 24 wide receiver.
19:19Yeah, I hope so. I hope Chris Olave is healthy too.
19:22So he mispracticed with an illness on Wednesday. Something to keep an eye on there.
19:26That value would skyrocket if for whatever reason Olave can't play in week six.
19:29I'm going right back to Jalen Coker, practice in full.
19:32Thankfully he's going to be 100% healthy. He was awesome before he suffered this quad injury.
19:3614.6 PPR points each of his first two healthy games.
19:38Nine targets in each of those two games. And this Eagles secondary, well, we expect them to be great.
19:43They have not been. Fifth in terms of most fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers.
19:47Six guys already have scored at least 15.5 PPR points or more against Philadelphia.
19:50Jalen Coker, Terrell McMillan, both guys should be awesome.
19:53But Coker should be considered a number two fantasy wide receiver for this week.
19:56Let's talk about some guys to sit. So Dave, you're sitting Luther Burden.
19:59Heath, you're sitting Romo Doonze. Why do you guys hate the Bears so much?
20:03I'm worried about what the target share will look like with Caleb Williams back under center.
20:07Because you remember how it was in those first two games.
20:10Burden got a little bit. Odoonze got a little bit.
20:12Colson Loveland barely got any. And Kalief Raymond was the guy who was just always in the right place at the right time for Caleb Williams.
20:19And Williams, just a phenomenal talent. But his biggest, I can't say weakness because it's also a strength, Jamie.
20:24But the thing that he does all the time is calls a play, takes the snap, has the ball, holds it, holds
20:29it, starts running, holds it some more. And then he tries to play Superman or he throws it away.
20:34And the receiver that a play is designed for often doesn't get the ball.
20:37So it makes me nervous to trust Burden or Odoonze, for that matter, as a top 24 fantasy wide receiver.
20:42It could be that one or both of them do well.
20:45I'd rather just kind of take my chances with them in that range of a 10 PPR point receiver.
20:50And I'd almost say the same thing about Kalief Raymond.
20:53I know the numbers have been bad the last two weeks for Raymond, who hasn't been on the field for Chicago.
20:58It's been Caleb Williams. And now that he's back against Atlanta, he'll be pressured.
21:01It makes me nervous to go and say that any of these wide receivers are must-start players.
21:06I'm a little bit hopeful that Caleb watched the Case Keenum tape from the first game and saw how easy playing quarterback
21:11can be if you just get the ball out on time and has a hamstring injury that he's recuperating and wants to not run around so much.
21:18I am terrified of Roma Doonze. He has one game this season with more than three catches.
21:22He has one game this season with double-digit fantasy points.
21:25He hasn't scored a touchdown yet. In the two games he played with Caleb Williams, he had seven targets combined.
21:30It wasn't good for Luther Burden either. It was a lot better than that.
21:33And so I'm really worried about Burden. Or Doonze.
21:36I don't want to start a Doonze in a three-wide receiver league if I can avoid it.
21:40It's a fun stat for this week, and we'll see which two pass catchers it applies to.
21:44But the Falcons have allowed a pair of wide receivers in four straight games.
21:48We've only played five. In four straight games to get 11 PPR points or more.
21:51Now that could be Raymond and Loveland. It could be on Doonze.
21:54If I had to pick, I think I'd actually pick Raymond and Loveland.
21:58Raymond and Burden. It very well could be. We'll see how this all sort of shakes out.
22:02I'm just going to be a little more optimistic and say both guys should be starters in three-receiver leagues.
22:07And Burden, for me, would be a starter in two-receiver leagues.
22:09I'm going to sit Jalen Waddell in tonight's game.
22:12It's just been very frustrating to watch how this has unfolded for him.
22:15And even with Pat Bryant not playing last week, didn't really help.
22:18Sean Payton taking over play-calling duties didn't really help.
22:20Bo Nix is not playing very well right now.
22:23And then, oh, by the way, here comes Seattle.
22:25So I think if you're just looking at Jalen Waddell right now, still should be started in three-receiver leagues because of all the players who are missing.
22:32If this is another bad game for him, you're not dropping him, but you're probably not starting him with any semblance of
22:37confidence, even in three-receiver leagues moving forward. We've got some fun sleepers for you here to get to.
22:42Dave, you like Efton Chisholm III. Again, as you alluded to, Jeremy Bernard, two touchdowns last week.
22:46Kyle Williams had a touchdown last week. Romeo Dobbs did nothing.
22:49But Chisholm has been sort of a steady factor for them the last two games without Matt Collins.
22:53This is me pretending to be Heath talking about a guy that can get 11 or 12 PPR points at wide receiver.
22:59And that's Chisholm. He's done that each of the last two weeks.
23:02He needs A.J. Brown to stay away. If A.J.
23:04Brown plays, then I don't know how much Chisholm is going to play.
23:07And you could cut Chisholm in that case. But we saw his route share go up to 80%.
23:12Or, I'm sorry, his snap share went up to 80%.
23:14His route share was in the 70% range. And he's a man-to-man coverage beater.
23:18And I think Drake May likes throwing to him because he's done it a couple times.
23:22And Chisholm has gone all out to catch all those passes.
23:25So, I'm going to say he's like a borderline number three type of wide receiver.
23:28But he's got that same type of expectation as what I'm thinking for Burden and Kalief Raymond in Chicago.
23:33He can get around 11 PPR points. I took the low-hanging fruit and took Jeremy Bernard.
23:37Heath, I thought it was interesting. How much money have you spent on him in fab?
23:41Thousands of dollars, yes. Because I have a few leagues where they have $1,000 worth of fab.
23:45About 25% to 30% in most of my leagues.
23:48I'm very optimistic about this wide receiver two role in the Pittsburgh offense.
23:51It's going to be fun. And we saw it last week.
23:54Career high, you know, performance for him. Not that they're saying much was his fifth game in his NFL career.
23:59But six catches for 80 yards, nine targets. They lose Roman Wilson with a finger injury.
24:03Michael Pittman's on IR with a foot injury. There's a lot to love about the situation for Jeremy Bernard.
24:08The matchup's going to be interesting because Tampa Bay, for the most part, has done well against opposing wide receivers.
24:13I think this is going to be still a chance for Bernard to have a big performance here.
24:17And Aaron Rodgers sort of maneuvers through the Todd Bowles blitzing and finds ways to get this kid open.
24:22And I think it's going to be the start of something fun for him.
24:25I don't think this is going to disappear even when Wilson and potentially Michael Pittman comes back.
24:30All right, we're going to take a break. We come back and talk about some quarterbacks.
24:34Got some fun potential start sits debates for you as well.
24:37Interesting to hear why Dave is sitting. Tyler Shuck.
24:39We'll talk about that next here on FFT. Welcome back to Fantasy Football today.
24:42We're talking about quarterbacks now. And again, some big name quarterbacks are on a buy.
24:46We'll show you that list in a minute. But we're going to give you some rankings to determine if you want to
24:52start guys like Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, Jameis Winston, over maybe even Trevor Lawrence, who's an MVP candidate right now in reality.
24:57But this is fantasy. And let's show you the guys who are not going to play in week six because they're on a buy.
25:03Two must-start quarterbacks in Jared Goff and Joe Burrow.
25:05And another guy, if you want to beat the waiver wire, the schedule coming up for the Vikings is fantastic.
25:10So look for week seven for about a three, four game stretch.
25:13Kyler Murray can be very good. You see his opponent in week seven is going to be the Indianapolis Colts.
25:19So that's a great opportunity against Detroit after that.
25:21So Kyler Murray may be a good streaming option for you if you want to stash him.
25:25And then Malik Willis just, you know, disappointing so far.
25:28Through the first five weeks of the season, maybe things change for him if he gets a healthy receiving court because we
25:33get to see what this looks like with Caleb Douglas, Chris Bell, and Malik Washington all playing at the same time.
25:38All right, let's show you the rankings one through 12.
25:41And we got some good news with Caleb Williams practicing in full.
25:44He is expected to return for this week's game against Atlanta.
25:47He's also going to be facing Michael Penix Jr., who's going to play despite the rib injury.
25:51Heath, when you look at Caleb Williams, he had a great game in week one, disappointing game in week two.
25:56He did play the majority of that game against Minnesota.
25:58It wasn't bad weather, the Vikings, etc. What are our expectations for maybe Williams working his way back after missing the last three games with a hamstring injury?
26:06I think he's one of those guys that it's hard to have expectations for because the ceiling, it's not that much different
26:11than Justin Fields when he was in Chicago. Like, he could go score 45 fantasy points.
26:15He could also score 12. Neither one would be that surprising.
26:18I don't expect him to run quite as much.
26:20This Atlanta defense has been better than we expected it to be.
26:23So I'm a little apprehensive. He's definitely a top 12 quarterback.
26:26I struggle a lot with him and Mahomes and a guy I'm going to talk about in the start in just a
26:31minute that I never thought I'd be talking about.
26:34Yeah, that's a good one. We're going to highlight a lot of the older quarterbacks here in a second.
26:38Let's show you the list 13 through 24. And we all sort of have a number two quarterback I think that we
26:44like a little bit better than the others in terms of where the consensus is.
26:48So for Dave, it's Jameis Winston. He's going to tell you why he likes him as a start.
26:52I love what I saw in the second half last week.
26:55And I originally had him as a sit last week.
26:58And after that first half, I was like, see, he's a sit.
27:01And then he went out. Oh, you had him as a start last week?
27:04No, I had him as a sit last week.
27:06Jameis? Yeah, I moved him into the sit last week.
27:09Oh, and this show you had him as a start last week.
27:12Yeah, I changed it up. But I'm not going to change it this time.
27:15We'll see. No, no, no. I'm committed to Jameis Winston for one more week.
27:19And we've seen it now. It's two straight weeks.
27:21Favorable matchups. He's come through. It doesn't necessarily look pretty.
27:24And it doesn't necessarily happen at the start of a game.
27:26But by the time he got in the second half, the Giants played with tempo against the Commanders.
27:31Commanders could not keep up with Malik Nabors and Isaiah Likely.
27:34And who was throwing them the ball? It was Jameis Winston.
27:37And now he's going up against New Orleans. We just saw Kyler Murray do a great job against the Saints.
27:42Their pass rush isn't going to be able to get to Jameis Winston either.
27:45I don't love him as like a top five type of quarterback.
27:48But I think he makes the cut as a top 12 quarterback.
27:51Look for him to have a shot at three touchdowns again.
27:54They let him throw 50 passes last week. 52, I think.
27:57Because they fell behind early against Washington. And Washington's actually got a good run defense.
28:00They couldn't run the ball at all. I don't think the Saints have a very good run defense.
28:05Do you think this coaching staff, if they can run the ball and have a lead early, are going to unleash Jameis?
28:10Or do they want to just keep him hemmed in for as long as they can and then only let go if they have to?
28:17They are way more open to not hemming him in and letting Jameis be the face of the offense now.
28:22Because their run game, you mentioned it, it hasn't been good.
28:25We haven't seen Cam Skadbu play with good efficiency from week to week to week.
28:28And now he's fumbling on top of it. That's a huge problem.
28:31So I think Jameis takes ownership of this offense until further notice.
28:34Good luck, Giants fans. Well, for this week, it's great.
28:37Next week against Houston, I don't know. We'll see.
28:39We'll see how that goes. I mean, it wasn't pretty in the first half.
28:43I think they needed Jameis. So I don't know if they want to exactly turn things over to him.
28:47But we'll see how things go there. Jordan Love is going to have an opportunity here for a great game.
28:52He takes on this Dallas defense, which we know is not good.
28:55Every quarterback group except for Jalen Daniels, 24 or more fantasy points.
28:58I say that because of the Washington game in week two when both Jaden Daniels and Marcus Mariota scored 27 fantasy points.
29:04Love coming off his best game of the season.
29:06He's our start of the week for this week.
29:09Has top five upside. Hopefully just continues to rely on his top two receivers.
29:12Maybe Tucker Craft gets going a little bit as well.
29:15And as the run game has shown us, it's not exactly something that's reliable.
29:18So Jordan Love has a huge opportunity in front of him.
29:21All right. So, Heath, we talked about a few of these, you know, makeshift situations that you may have a quarterback here.
29:26Kirk Cousins, though, he's been very good for the majority of the season.
29:30Last week was bad. Is he going to bounce back against Buffalo in week six?
29:33I think he will bounce back. I don't know what year it is, honestly.
29:37Kirk Cousins has 12 touchdown passes in five games.
29:39He's having 7.4 yards per carry. And the Bills are the AFC Lions.
29:42Like, great offense. They're going to score a bunch of points.
29:45They're not going to let you just settle into a run-heavy game because you have to keep up with them.
29:50And also, they can't stop anybody. I don't think there's any chance they're stopping Brock Bowers.
29:54Kirk Cousins is just going to throw it to him over and over and over again.
29:58He's a top-12 quarterback for me. And honestly, he might be top nine by the end of the day.
30:03I was asked, well, what happens if Fernando Mendoza comes in in the fourth quarter?
30:07Because the Bills, you can almost see it that they're going to have a lead and the Raiders are going to be chasing points.
30:13If it's like last week, Cousins might not play in the fourth quarter.
30:16And that would be something that would scare me off a little bit.
30:19I don't know. I think the Raiders will be able to put up points against this Bills defense because they're so bad.
30:25And it was road game last week. It is back-to-back road games for the Bills.
30:29They are staying on the West Coast. But still, we could see a situation where they hang in this game enough.
30:34And I'm sure a big reason why, as we alluded to with Ashton Gentry, he's not running the ball very well.
30:39Kirk Cousins has been carrying the offense. All right.
30:42Let's talk about some sick quarterbacks that we're looking at here.
30:44Heath Jacoby-Bersett was awesome last week against Detroit. Not going to be so awesome against the Rams this week.
30:49There's a little bit of a difference between the Detroit Lions' pass defense and the Los Angeles Rams.
30:54Just a little bit. This is a guy that I'm worried is going to get sat down in the very near future.
30:59It's very possible. Because he's been awesome in terms of producing fantasy points in garbage time, which is what he did for
31:0512 games last year and went 1-11. And he's got one win so far this year.
31:09And it's really ugly. And Trey McBride's getting frustrated.
31:11And I think this Rams defense is so good that this could just be it's gross early like it has been.
31:16And then he doesn't ever get to garbage time.
31:19Because, all right, let's see what the rookie can do.
31:21If he's frustrated by this, at least he's Carson Beck.
31:24I mean, that might be even worse. But, yeah, hopefully Trey McBride is against it.
31:27You know, I do wonder. Because he was frustrated.
31:30And Jacoby said, you know, I had to show him.
31:32Like, they're just double-teaming you every time. And I can't force it in there.
31:36People will laugh at this. I wonder if Marvin Harrison Jr., while he wasn't helping the team in terms of catching passes,
31:41was at least making it more difficult. Oh, the threat.
31:44For sure. Yeah, absolutely. As opposed to, I don't know.
31:46How many double teams was Marvin Harrison? It's not about double teams.
31:49It's taking the safety with him. The safety at the game.
31:52But there was one guy that was going to go with him either way.
31:55And that's what we saw. Yes, but now the safeties are cheating up because they don't have to worry about Kendrick Bourne's not doing that.
32:02Yeah, Bourne's got a different role for sure. They're playing in a bubble.
32:05Right. He's faster, but I don't know. They're playing in a bubble.
32:08They've got to throw deep in order to threaten.
32:10It definitely changed some things. All right, you're sitting Tyler Shuck.
32:13I'm curious about this one. New York's defense has blitzed at the second highest rate ever since Brian Burns went down.
32:18And we just saw what happened to Tyler Shuck last week when he was blitzed like crazy.
32:23So he's going to face the exact same scenario.
32:25And before you say, well, it's Minnesota's pass rush, they're amazing.
32:28It's true. This giant's pass rush has been great as well.
32:30They got to Jaden Daniels a ton last week.
32:33I know Jaden Daniels ran for a ton of yards.
32:35Tyler Shuck isn't running anymore. He did for two of his first three games.
32:39And in his last two games, remember, he's got this banged up left hand.
32:42I don't think he wants to aggravate that injury.
32:45He's not running as much. And this giant's defense has actually started to play a little bit better.
32:49I'm nervous that Tyler Shuck can put together a good game.
32:52So he's out of my top 12. The only thing that I think to sort of counter your other point about Jameis,
32:57if Jameis is throwing a lot, so is this guy.
33:00And if this guy's throwing a lot, he's going to get production against his defense.
33:04I'm not sure if he will. I mean, it's kind of been a track record.
33:07I mean, I'm not sure if Jameis will either.
33:10It's been the track record for Shuck his entire tenure under Kellen Moore.
33:13I guess I'm just, the two things that stick out to me from last week.
33:17Number one, they ran the ball way more than I thought that they would.
33:20And Heath is right. They didn't have the ball a lot.
33:2343 plays in the game. They'll have more than that this week.
33:26And number two, they didn't play with urgency until the fourth quarter for New Orleans.
33:30And that just worries me a little bit. It's been the entire season, though.
33:33Yeah. But you'd expect them to have a lot of quick game passing against the pass rush.
33:38They didn't do it. But Tyler Shuck's efficiency is terrible when he's pressured.
33:41All right. So we'll see how things go for Shuck.
33:43You see, Heath and I are a little bit more inclined to start.
33:47Shuck, Dave, is going to sit him this week.
33:49I'm going to sit Trevor Lawrence, if you possibly can.
33:51He's had three very good games, two disappointing ones.
33:54This is a very tough matchup for him. Historically, does not do well against the Texans.
33:58Ten meetings in his career against this defense. Two games over 20 fantasy points.
34:01One of those in the D'Amico Ryan's era. And now their left tackle not going to play in this game.
34:06So taking on Will Anderson and Daniel Hunter, not exactly the easiest setup for Trevor Lawrence.
34:10So not a number one quarterback for week six.
34:12All right. We're going to take a break. We come back and get into the tight end rankings.
34:17Similar to the quarterbacks. You had a lot of replacement options that you could have picked up this week off waivers like Kirk Cousins, Aaron Rodgers, Jameis Winston.
34:24You got some of the same thing at the tight end spot.
34:27We'll talk about Brenton Strange. We'll talk about Pat Fryermuth, Tyler Higbee.
34:30That's next on FFT. Welcome back to Fantasy Football Today.
34:33We're talking tight ends, showing you some rankings, giving you some starts, some sits, some sleepers, and unfortunately talking about some of
34:38the tight ends that you're going to miss this week because of the bye.
34:42Really only one true must-start guy. So if you want to take a look at the four tight ends we're missing this
34:47week, again, Detroit, Cincinnati, Miami, Minnesota, LaPorta. Heath, you're going to be okay?
34:50You got enough tight end replacements to cover your LaPorta shares?
34:53You know, I got one, and I'm going to talk about him as a starter in just a minute.
34:58Yes, that's a good one. And Pat Fryermuth, you also could pick up Brenton Strange, Tyler Higbee.
35:02Hunter Henry. These guys have all been playing well or have the opportunity to continue playing well in week six, and we'll show you where they rank.
35:09Right now, as we take a look at the list one through 12, did any of these guys crack the top 12?
35:15And sure enough, there's two of them, Brenton Strange and Pat Fryermuth.
35:18So you guys both have them as starts. Let's just start right there.
35:21So Dave, for you, it's Strange. Heath, for you, it's Fryermuth.
35:24Dave, you can start because Strange. Oh, no. Heath, you get to go first because Fryermuth is a little bit higher.
35:29And only because of my ranking of him. But he's lined up outside or in the slot for about 60% of his snaps.
35:35He's basically another one of these tight ends playing wide receiver most of the time.
35:38The fact that they don't have Michael Pittman, well, he doesn't really matter anyway.
35:42They don't have Roman Wilson. And Aaron Rodgers is throwing 38 times per game.
35:46Tampa Bay's had a little bit of trouble with tight ends, even tight ends that are playing in the slot.
35:51And so I think we're going to see probably six targets from him.
35:54What I know we're going to see is when they get down near the red zone, he's the guy that Aaron Rodgers trusts.
36:00He's a top eight tight end for me this week.
36:02I'm starting him almost as often as I'm starting Jeremy Bernard.
36:05I don't mind that call. I think in full PPR, I would take Brenton Strange over him because we've seen it now two straight weeks.
36:11Eight targets, seven catches. And Brenton Strange, while he might not be an inside the 10-yard line guy like Fryermuth is for
36:17Rodgers, he's a check down guy for Trevor Lawrence.
36:19And Trevor Lawrence is going to be under a lot of pressure in this game.
36:23The offensive line is banged up for Jacksonville. You know the Texans are going to bring heat.
36:27And it means that Trevor Lawrence needs to get the ball out quick.
36:30Who does he trust there? Parker Washington, obviously. And over the last two weeks, it's been strange.
36:35So in full PPR leagues, I love him as a top 10 tight end.
36:38I thought it was just going to be, hey, they're playing the Bengals.
36:41Brenton Strange, good. Then last week against the Eagles, still good.
36:44Like you said, targets have been there. It's the role more than anything else.
36:48And if there's anything, Jacoby Myers, Brian Thomas, they've become afterthoughts.
36:50It's been Parker Washington and Strange so far. So hopefully that continues.
36:53I'll show you the rank list, 13 through 24.
36:56And we have some backups similar to the quarterbacks that we're sort of pivoting to if you have to find somebody that
37:01we don't always agree on from a consensus standpoint.
37:03So Heath, your guy is Hunter Henry once again.
37:06Dave, you've got an interesting one here in Dalton Kincaid.
37:08For me, it's Tyler Higby. I'll just sort of tie in Higby and the other two guys here.
37:13Higby, three straight games with 11 PPR points or more.
37:15Was a little bit concerned when Puga came back.
37:18He was still involved. A little bit concerned last week when Colby Parkinson came back.
37:21He's still involved. The target share versus the volume is a big conversation here because 50 pass attempts each of the last three weeks for Matthew Stafford.
37:28That's helped Tyler Higby. But I still think that we're going to see the Rams throw enough, especially in this matchup against the Cardinals.
37:34Fifth most fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends.
37:36I still like Higby as a streaming option. But Strange and Fryer-Muth in a little bit better spot.
37:41Dave, take me through Dalton Kincaid because he's been such a disappointment since week two.
37:45Oh, it's been terrible. And in week three, he had that fumble.
37:48And that was a big deal. And I think that there was a trust issue there over the last two weeks.
37:53And now we just don't know if we can confidently start Dalton Kincaid.
37:56And I moved Higby ahead of him in my rankings.
37:59But he's still somebody that I would consider starting because look at what the Raiders have allowed to tight ends so far this season.
38:05Jawan Johnson, Noah Fant, Hunter Henry, Eli Raritan, Orande Gadsden.
38:07All of them at least 9.8 full PPR points.
38:10And some of these guys had only four or fewer targets against the Raiders.
38:13So I think it's a favorable matchup. You're just hoping that Kincaid gets back into the good graces of Josh Allen.
38:18He's a sit for you. Yeah. I would imagine one of Bill's tight ends could be good or score a touchdown.
38:24Will it be Dalton Kincaid? It could be Knox.
38:26Because Dawson Knox had more targets than Dalton Kincaid did last week.
38:29I said this on the podcast this morning. And I think that maybe it would help Dalton Kincaid if DJ Moore is back.
38:35Because I think right now everybody knows how efficient Kincaid has been.
38:38Josh Allen's talking about wanting to get him involved again.
38:40And he just can't right now because there's not anybody else that the defense is worried about.
38:45Interesting thought there. And what about Hunter Henry? How is he going to do for a third straight game?
38:49Maybe double digits and people. I don't think anybody ever knows how Hunter Henry is going to do.
38:54But the average of what Hunter Henry could possibly do puts him in the top 12 conversation.
38:58Drake May looks like he's back to being a good quarterback who throws the ball to guys that are wearing the same colored shirt that he does now.
39:05And so that's a positive for Hunter Henry. He's generally someone that May will lean on in those third down situations.
39:10That's what's been happening over the last two weeks.
39:13And I don't know if it's just third down situations.
39:15I think it might just be overall. But Hunter Henry's numbers have come up in weeks four and five.
39:20Drake May's numbers have gone up in weeks four and weeks five.
39:23There's a correlation there. Yeah, I said this on the show this morning.
39:26Like there's Chisholm. There's Douglas. There's Romeo Dobbs. Kyle Williams.
39:29If you're ranking the flex options for the Patriots aside from Ramondre Stevenson, Hunter Henry should be at the top of the
39:34list just because he's been the most consistent of this group.
39:37Just looking at the starts, we already got Pat Fryermuth and Brenton Strange.
39:40For me, Dallas Goddard last week was great. Nine targets, not the production, just in terms of the involvement.
39:45And now he has a much better matchup against the Panthers.
39:48Their last two games before their bye week, Harold Fanny Jr., Sam Laporta combined 15 catches, 135 yards, three touchdowns.
39:53Dallas Goddard may be the number one guy in terms of targets once again, if there's no Devontae Smith, but certainly number two at worst.
39:59So Dallas Goddard has top five upside. Certainly should be back in your lineups for week six.
40:03All right. Some guys that were sitting this week already talked about Dalton Kincaid.
40:07Dave Colson, love him even with Caleb Williams back.
40:09No trust. No trust. Four targets in two games with Caleb Williams.
40:12So that's pretty easy. And there's still a lot of optimists out there, Jamie.
40:16He's 48% active in CBS Fantasy Leagues. I don't know why it's that high.
40:19The hope. I guess the hope. You know, same thing with Kyle Pitts.
40:23Last week we saw his best game of the season and it was great.
40:26Look, he got five catches, 42 yards, a touchdown.
40:28Michael Penix starting to get more involved the last two weeks.
40:31Bears are number three and fewest fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends.
40:34They've done a very good job so far against the position this season.
40:38And I just don't think you go right back to Kyle Pitts.
40:41Penix is going to play, but who knows how healthy he is.
40:44So still more of a stash, but not somebody I think that you want to start.
40:48All right. We're going to take a break right now.
40:50When we come back, going to get into your questions.
40:53That's all we're going to talk about in our next segment.
40:56So send them to us on social media using the hashtag AskFFT.
40:59We'll help you with those fantasy dilemmas for week six.
41:01Welcome back to Fantasy Football Today. It's time for your questions.
41:04Thank you for sending them to us on social media using the hashtag AskFFT.
41:07All right. Here we go. Luther Burden, Coleman, Keon Coleman, or Chris Godwin?
41:11Who are we starting? Let's assume no DJ Moore.
41:13Well, he also said... Oh, could pick up Bernard off-way.
41:15I would rather start Bernard than any of these guys.
41:18I would pick up Bernard, drop Godwin, start Burden this week.
41:21That's exactly what I would do as well. All right.
41:23Next question. All right. Was offered Jameer Gibbs, Emeka, Buka, and Cortland Sutton from my Ramondre Stevenson and Buka Nakua.
41:28What? Also has Devante and Pickens. A lot of names here.
41:31Both two and three facing each other this week.
41:33So would you take Gibbs, Abuka, and Sutton for giving up Ramondre and Buka?
41:37Yeah. I mean, it's a lot, but you have to give up a lot to get Jameer Gibbs on your fantasy team.
41:42Assuming that I had two other running backs that I could start, yes.
41:46I kind of feel like you're trading Ramondre and Buka for Jameer Gibbs.
41:49Hopefully, Emeka, Buka becomes something. Yep. I would do the trade for sure.
41:52All right. Next question. He's got Brees Hall, Ollie Gordon, Emmanuel Wilson, for whatever it's worth.
41:56He can even survive the bye week there. I think we're all in agreement on this one.
42:00We're starting Chris Olave with Jalen Coker. Yeah. We're there.
42:03Yep. Next one. Have Jalen Hurts and Tyler Shuck dropping Jalen Wright for Jaden Daniels?
42:07How much fat would you spend on Jaden Daniels, assuming you can still make this move?
42:11Somewhere in the neighborhood of 15%. I think that's fair.
42:13Yep. One more. Would you trade Woody Marks and Bucky Irving for Chris Olave and Omarian Hampton?
42:17Yes. I would, too. Yeah. You got to do that.
42:20It's basically Bucky for Olave. We don't know when David Montgomery is going to come back, but a great trade for you.
