1:39Terms apply. This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
1:42What a play! It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
1:45Off to the races, and he stays at his feet.
1:48So here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
1:51We are into Fantasy Week 3. Let's go. Hope we have some 2-0.
1:55You guys have any undefeated teams still? Several. Oh, wow.
1:58Amazing. Really? No. All right. Yeah, we're into Week 3.
2:01I think the real question is how many winless teams do we have?
2:05Oh. And I got a couple. One league I'm tanking.
2:08Both of my dynasty leagues. One I'm trying to tank.
2:11The other one I'm not. I'm winless in both.
2:14Yeah. And I've got one other redraft league where I've started 0-2.
2:18That's it. That's pretty good. I think I have two.
2:21Out of 14, not bad. Maybe three winless redraft teams.
2:24Yeah, it's no good. Quarterbacks coming back. Michael Penix Jr., Kyler Murray are coming back.
2:28But we, of course, have more quarterbacks who are injured, like Jackson Dart last night.
2:33However, with Jackson Dart, with Caleb Williams, we don't have season-ending injuries.
2:36We still don't know with Jaden Daniels. We had a lot of running back injuries last week, which usually means a good waiver wire week.
2:44However, these running back injuries might be very short-term.
2:46So it's a little bit of a tricky week when it comes to waiver wire priority.
2:51Jamie, what does it look like? Who are the top three players to get for Week 3?
2:56The top three for me are Jonah Coleman, Bryce Young, and Dalton Schultz.
3:00I think you're looking at – there's an opportunity here.
3:03You said it. We may get J.K. Dobbins back and R.J.
3:07Harvey back. But what if we don't? And Coleman looked good in his performance against Jackson.
3:11He wasn't a really good run defense. I was glad that he was involved in the passing game.
3:17If one of the two are out, I still think that you can use Coleman as a flex.
3:22And if both are out, then I think he's a must-start running back even against the Rams.
3:27Bryce Young has been awesome through the first two games this season.
3:31But it's now seven of his last ten games going back to last year over 20 fantasy points.
3:36Again, kind of coincides with Jalen Colker's emergence. And then Dalton Schultz just coming off this amazing performance.
3:42But it's now 22 targets in two games, one of them without Nico Collins.
3:46We don't know if Collins is going to return.
3:49And he did very well in two games against the Colts last year.
3:53So those three, assuming that the Broncos' backfield is depleted, would all be must-starts for me if, again, Coleman is the starter for Denver.
4:00Jonah Coleman, Bryce Young, Dalton Schultz. And, you know, if you add Coleman and then both Harvey and Dobbins play this week,
4:06are you going to stick with him? You know, just say, this is a guy I want to have because, look, Dobbins is always hurt.
4:14And maybe Harvey just stays the third down back.
4:17I would say if you add him and those guys return, go look at J.K.
4:21Dobbins' player page. Go to where it says career.
4:24Go look at how many games he has missed.
4:26And then know that he's already dealing with a hamstring injury.
4:30So I love J.K. Dobbins. I'd love to see him stay healthy.
4:33He said in the preseason when he had the minor injury, I forget what it was, that he wasn't going to let – I think it was ankle.
4:42He came back right away to practice. Sounds like he's going to return this week in some capacity.
4:47But it's just unfortunately what his history has been.
4:50And Jonah Coleman may be the future of this Broncos' backfield.
4:53And they're coming off a win where he had a big part in it.
4:57So I wouldn't be surprised if he now has worked his way into a bigger part of the rotation.
5:03If everybody's healthy and may end up playing more than one of the two, I think if it was going to be
5:10any of them, it would be Harvey. Okay, Dave.
5:12So Jamie's top three priorities this week are Jonah Coleman, Bryce Young, and Dalton Schultz.
5:17One thing about Bryce Young, maybe you'll start him against Cleveland this week.
5:21I don't think it's clear what kind of matchup that is.
5:24Trevor Lawrence lit them up. And then Baker Mayfield struggled, but Baker's not really playing that well.
5:29But then he's got Detroit the following week, which looks like one of the best matchups for quarterbacks.
5:35Then he has a bye. Then he's at Philadelphia.
5:37So I guess what I'm saying is with Bryce Young, maybe in the next four weeks, there's only one matchup that you really want to start him in.
5:46However, I'm not really approaching it that way. He's playing so well.
5:49I want to see where this goes. You don't have to start him immediately, but I feel like he's the kind of
5:56guy that you want on your team because he might legitimately be breaking out.
6:00Normally, I wouldn't put a quarterback in the top three unless it was overwhelmingly obvious.
6:05You can make an argument that it is for Bryce Young.
6:08We just lost three starters. We're down Caleb Williams, Jane Daniels, and Jackson Dart.
6:12There's three managers in every league looking for a quarterback right now.
6:16And so if he's not a priority for every league where he's still available, which it's not that many leagues, I don't know what you're doing.
6:24All right, Dave, who are your top three priorities this week?
6:27First of all, I think it's a get what you need week.
6:31In a vacuum, Coleman is my number one. I would put Schultz second, and I would put Denzel Boston third.
6:37And it's not to slight Bryce Young. This is not me saying that Bryce Young is going to be bad.
6:43If you lost Kayla Williams or Jackson Dart, you better go get Bryce Young.
6:47But this is going to be three teams in every league that need a quarterback if they don't already have a backup quarterback.
6:54And there's probably going to be another quarterback on the waiver wire that could be not as good as Bryce Young.
7:00I think they're staying power with Bryce Young. But I don't think you have to make him a priority unless you have
7:07to, unless your quarterback situation is dire. Then, of course, you're going to put Bryce Young at the top of the list.
7:13If your tight end situation is dire, you're going to put Dalton Schultz at the top of the list.
7:19If your receiver situation is dire, you will put Denzel Boston as one of the top wide receivers on your list.
7:25But if you don't have a dire situation, then I think what Jamie said about Jonah Coleman is good.
7:31And he's somebody who you want to roll the dice on.
7:34You're going to make the commitment for a couple of weeks.
7:38I know when I drafted him, you remember how crazy I was over Jonah a month ago?
7:43When I drafted him, I wanted to commit to him for a month just to see what would happen.
7:48There was a lot of really good stuff that he did in week two.
7:53There was some bad stuff he did in week two as well.
7:56And you think about Sean Payton and what his track record is with running backs.
8:01He doesn't put it all on one guy's plate.
8:03And so I worry about Jonah Coleman being a mega breakout.
8:07And I don't think it's going to happen as long as Dobbins is healthy and eventually R.J.
8:12Harvey will come back. So no matter what the situation, unless it's legitimately what we saw in week two, where it's Dobbins
8:18is out, Harvey is out, that's when we'll see Coleman getting a ton of work.
8:23But short of that, you're going to see Coleman split.
8:26That being said, if we're just taking a roster spot and we're going to see what we get with somebody, we're going
8:32to do a little investing, then Coleman's the guy.
8:35So what is your thought? Let's say Dobbins is out.
8:38And I think Dobbins is going to play this week.
8:41But you're picking up Coleman right now because we know the history of J.K.
8:45Dobbins. So in your opinion, if Dobbins at some point suffers a longer-term injury, what is the split looking like between Coleman and R.J.
8:53Harvey? Coleman running downs, Harvey passing downs. Coleman at the goal line.
8:56Okay. Jamie, you agree with that? Mostly. I think they'll mix and match a little bit, not as like the Rams or Bears type situation.
9:04But I still think Harvey will get enough work on first and second down to be somewhat relevant.
9:09And Coleman will catch passes probably on first and second down as well.
9:13So I don't think they go completely away from Harvey in terms of using him as a rushing downs guy because they've
9:20done it already this season with Dobbins. Let me double check.
9:23Let me double check one thing on Harvey. Give me 30 seconds.
9:27I want to see what his success rate is inside the five.
9:30Okay. I just want to say because I can foresee it.
9:33We're sitting here leading with Jonah Coleman and people are going to pick him up and they're going to go, I can't believe you told me.
9:41It really is a long-term thing. But there's also like no guarantee that Dobbins and Harvey are going to play this week.
9:48And, you know, you'd have a starting running back.
9:51But it's kind of also just because we know this.
9:54This is why we liked him in the preseason.
9:56Now he's got this opportunity here potentially. All right.
9:59So there's that. Dalton Schultz, Jamie. Does it bother you at all that Dalton Schultz has done a lot of his work this year?
10:06I don't necessarily want to call it garbage time, but trailing in the fourth quarter.
10:11For example, this past week he had eight catches for 72 yards on nine targets and a 45% target share in the fourth quarter alone against Cincinnati.
10:19And so much of it was Cincinnati had a 20-6 lead the entire time in the fourth quarter.
10:24And they just let him catch these short balls.
10:27And C.J. Stroud so far, like we don't expect the Texans to be 0-2 and trailing all the time.
10:33C.J. Stroud so far has 58 pass attempts in the first three quarters of two games.
10:3758 pass attempts in six quarters. And in the fourth quarter of the two games he has 35 pass attempts.
10:43So with Schultz, are you, you know, do we think maybe it's overinflated because of these game scripts that are sort of unexpected for Houston?
10:51I mean, I'm not expecting him to average 11 targets per game.
10:55So, no, I'm not expecting him to, you know, do what he's been doing.
10:59And so however you want to, you know, categorize or separate it, you know, from, you know, when he's getting it done.
11:05The thing that I think, you know, you're just looking at the week three game, you know the Colts are going to
11:12come out and score on the first drive because that's what they've done.
11:16Yeah. You know, so they'll probably be trailing again if they don't get the ball.
11:20But this Texas defense has clearly not played to the same level.
11:24You know, facing Josh Allen and Joe Burrow back-to-back weeks is much different than facing Daniel Jones.
11:29So we'll see what they do in week three.
11:32I just think you look at Dalton Schultz right now.
11:35If Nico Collins plays, you dial back expectations. If Nico Collins is out, you're still looking at somebody who we said when
11:41Jaden Higgins was injured, this is going to be the guy who's second on the team of targets.
11:47We love that scenario. So there's a lot of passing going on right now in Houston that we didn't expect.
11:53There's a bad defense in Houston right now or struggling defense in Houston that we didn't expect.
11:58Again, I think that has to do with who they played.
12:01So we'll see. But I still think you're just looking at Schultz.
12:05And when you get to, like Dave said, you got Colston Loveland struggling.
12:09You have a maybe scenario of Kyle Pitts bouncing back.
12:12But still, we don't know what it's going to look like with Michael Penix.
12:16We have maybe Brock Bowers coming back. We have maybe this, maybe that.
12:20Tucker Craft, whatever. Some of these tight ends who are struggling.
12:23It feels pretty good to look at Dalton Schultz and getting those opportunities coming off this monster game.
12:29And now facing a Colts team that just got beat up by Travis Kelsey.
12:33So I think there's an opportunity here for Schultz to be a top ten today.
12:37Okay, last question here. We're going to move on here.
12:40But Jonah Coleman, Bryce Young, Dalton Schultz, Denzel Boston, they're all rostered in about 50% to 60% of leagues.
12:46So for the people who have been listening for 10 minutes and going, well, I can't get any of these guys.
12:52Who are some names of players that are much more available?
12:56And yes, we will do this later. We'll do this later.
12:59But just a few names here that we should prioritize for the people who are going, I can't get any of these guys.
13:06Dave? Jamie? No, you got it. Jamie, sorry. No, I mean, there's two obvious running backs in Tank Bigsby and Manuel Wilson
13:12just with the injuries that you're looking at there with potentially Saquon Barkley being out and potentially Jadarian Price being out.
13:19Now, similar to the Broncos, it sounds like those two guys are going to potentially, or the starting running backs there are going to potentially play.
13:27I think when you go to quarterback, you know, if you want to go very deep, you're looking at Michael Penix, you
13:33know, playing for the first time this season. And hopefully he takes advantage of the weapons that are available to him.
13:39You have now Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston. We know that they both have a good history of helping fantasy managers when put in this situation.
13:47So hopefully those guys take advantage of it. Geno Smith and CJ Stroud both have great matchups this week if you just
13:54want to go on a week-to-week basis. And Geno's schedule coming up is very favorable as well.
13:59So, you know, there's quarterbacks that can help you in the dire situation that a lot of fantasy managers are in with those three guys being out.
14:07Receiver, there's, you know, plenty of guys. You know, Dontavian Wicks, Adonai Mitchell both coming off strong starts this season.
14:13You know, both, or at least in week two in the case for Adonai Mitchell.
14:18So there are receivers that can help you. We'll talk about a lot of others as well.
14:23And then at tight end, you know, you have similar to Geno Smith.
14:27Like Kenya Sadiq's matchup is as good as it gets.
14:30Arande Gadsden's got a great situation. Now Pat Fryermuth has an unbelievable history against Cincinnati Bengals.
14:34Ten games he's played them in his career. He's averaging 14.6 PPR points against them.
14:39And of those eight games, he's scored at least 11 PPR points or more.
14:43So he just beats up on the Bengals. Helps with their problems that we've seen over the last several years and them struggling.
14:50So there's lots of different ways you can go with this.
14:53And, you know, I agree with Dave. Denzel Boston's the number one receiver.
14:57The reason I didn't put a receiver there is just because there's so many options that kind of, you know, sliding scale, you know, from Boston.
15:05But like Boston and Tucker to me are almost identical in terms of what they're capable of doing and have done so
15:12far, at least coming off week two. So like I think it's almost in your best interest.
15:17Like you could play defense as well, you know, by picking up Schultz or a quarterback to block one of your opponents
15:23from getting what could be a starting option for the rest of the season.
15:28Okay. Well, that was basically the segment. There's a few other names definitely to throw out a little bit later.
15:34I mean, talk about that. We're not doing it later.
15:37Hey, real quick. Real quick. This is a strike against Jonah Coleman after all.
15:41So 56% success right inside the five last year for RJ Harvey.
15:44Five of his seven rushing touchdowns came from inside the five.
15:48I wonder if he's the default goal line guy in a world where Dobbins is out.
15:53Harvey is active. Coleman is active. And that obviously takes some of the upside away from Jonah Coleman.
15:58Okay. Just to let you know, Tuesdays and Thursdays, we're on CBS Sports Network.
16:02Not every Tuesday and Thursday, but we will always record a show.
16:06And whether it's on CBS Sports Network or not, like today, it's not on CBS Sports Network.
16:11It will always air on HQ in the afternoon at 1 or 2 p.m.
16:15Eastern. Do you guys know? I always forget. I think 2 o'clock Eastern.
16:192 o'clock on HQ every time we're on. Yeah.
16:22And we're not on. It's usually noon on CBS Sports Network.
16:25But even if we're not on CBS Sports Network Tuesdays or Thursdays, that show will air on HQ at 2 p.m.
16:31Eastern. So that'll be today. And also you can catch those at YouTube.com slash Fantasy Football Today, which is where we also
16:38have now set records in two consecutive Sundays, our most viewed Sunday morning shows to date.
16:43And we're having a lot of fun. So we start at 11 a.m.
16:47We go for two hours and we answer so many starter sick questions, probably a couple hundred.
16:52I don't even know. Probably more. It's crazy. And it's a lot of fun.
16:56So join us. YouTube.com slash Fantasy Football Today every Sunday morning.
16:59Before we go to break, how much fab are we spending today, Dave?
17:03It really depends on how badly you need the quarterback, the tight end, the receiver, the running back.
17:09But I don't think I'd be in for any more than like 10% on any of these guys.
17:14Maybe you could talk me into 15% on Coleman if you just want to take the chance on the upside.
17:20But I don't think that this is just like last week to me where I don't think this is a break the bank week for anybody.
17:28I'm pretty tempted with Bryce Young. I mean, he just not break the bank.
17:32What's your quarterback situation? Yeah. Even if I have a good quarterback situation, like I would spend.
17:37Yeah, I think 10% on Bryce Young if I had a quarterback situation.
17:41If I didn't, I think, you know, 20 to 30 might might work for me.
17:46Is that crazy? Okay. I mean, it clearly depends on you might have to do a little work here to see who
17:52else in your league desperately needs a quarterback this week.
17:55There's three managers in every league that needs quarterback.
17:58Assuming they don't have a backup already. Yes. Right.
18:01And it's a yeah, it's a rough week. So.
18:03All right. Yeah. Okay. Jamie in the column, he actually puts all of the all of his fab recommendations in there, which is very cool.
18:11So you can read the column at CBS sports dot com slash fantasy.
18:15And we'll take a quick break. And when we come back, if we have time, I'll sneak in a quick fantasy cops.
18:21And also, oh, Gino Smith and CJ Stroud have great schedules coming up.
18:25And so that's not just great for them. But obviously, think about all the pass catchers on their teams.
18:31Gino Smith has the Lions and the Bears up next.
18:34Stroud has the Colts, the Cowboys and the Titans up next.
18:37Love it. We'll be right back on fantasy football today.

19:26Taxes and fees may apply. Building a winning fantasy football team takes so much more than just picking the biggest names.
19:32You need strategy, preparation, determination, and of course, a little bit of grit when things don't go according to plan.
19:38It's the same way in football. A quarterback has to throw and run.
19:42A running back has to run and read the routes.
19:45It takes so much more than one skill to succeed.
19:48Just like Nationwide. Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company.
19:52They're one of America's largest financial services companies too.
19:55So whether you're thinking about your insurance or financial needs, remember, Nationwide is on your side.

20:05But I hit a point where I realized just trusting a pretty label wasn't enough.
20:10I needed actual verification. That's why I made the switch to Momentus Signature Spec Creatine.
20:15Instead of chasing flavor trends, Momentus set a brand new benchmark by producing their creatine in a pharmaceutical facility with reverse osmosis water purification.

20:51Livemomentus.com, promo code FFT. Welcome back. Should we do a quick fantasy caps?
20:55Of course. Yes, yes. All right. We got a longtime listener, first-time emailer.
20:59This is from Chris. Going into week two on Monday night, I was up by five points.
21:04My opponent had Puka Nakua. As you know, he was scratched.
21:08There was another league member who had Malik neighbors, and no matter what, he already lost week two.
21:13Both teams decided to trade one another and said in the fantasy group chat there was a part two coming to this trade after week two was over.
21:21Remind you, these two members are family. And even though I got extremely lucky with Malik neighbors scoring 1.1 fantasy points, I wound up getting the win.
21:30Is this collusion? Should this be illegal when an entire trade cannot be finalized on the day of the transaction?
21:36This is definitely collusion. Well, I mean, it's collusion if there's a second part, right?
21:40There's no collusion. Which they admitted to. Well, they haven't done it yet, though.
21:44It's not collusion if they hold on to the players for a considerable amount of time.
21:49Right. If they make a trade back this week, then it's collusion.
21:53I don't know that the second part is necessarily trading the players back, but I don't know.
21:58What if the second part is just like... Well, if they let the trade stand for the rest of the season, it's clearly not collusion.
22:05They've made a trade. That's normal fantasy football stuff.
22:08Yeah. They literally went to the fantasy group chat and was like, Yay, guys, we're just going to trade back after a week.
22:15No, no, no, no, no. Clarify. They did not say they were going to trade.
22:19They did not say they were going to trade back.
22:22They said there was a second part. That could mean two running backs being added to the deal.
22:28Right? So that's why... This is a gray area here.
22:31Yeah. I think until we know what part two is, we can't really adjudicate.
22:35I think you really have to put a rule...
22:38And I obviously don't do this because I never see this happen in my leagues.
22:42But if this kind of stuff happens, there needs to be a rule in your league where if you trade a player
22:49to a team, you can't trade those players back for like three weeks or something like that.
22:54There's got to be a period of time where those players are kept on the team.
22:59I don't know if that really helped. That's a tough one.
23:02So what are we thinking in general? Let this one stand for you?
23:06I think we need to know what part two is and hopefully get that answer before Friday.
23:11So email whoever wrote you back and say, we have the official Fantasy Cops on Friday and we can answer that question when we get to it.
23:19All right. Quick shout out to our boy June, another longtime listener.
23:23He was eliminated from his guillotine league when Matthew Stafford took three kneel downs at the end of the game.
23:29That's amazing. News and notes. We had an R guillotine league and I don't know if Sam's on the stream or not,
23:35but it was Sam and Marone came down to Kyron Williams.
23:39I think it was Kyron Williams. Sam definitely had Cam Scadaboo and I think Sam ended up losing.
23:44Yep. Lost by one point. Yeah. Just brutal. So I'm on a text chain with Marone and he's sweating it out.
23:50It's just, it was both you guys just had rough weeks and sorry, Sam.
23:55Yeah. I lost Nico Collins too, obviously going into it.
23:58So that, that, that's 75.9 to 74.3. Oh, that's a tough way to go.
24:02All right. Jackson dart knee injury sprained MCL that, you know, could be maybe one of those four to six weeks or weekers.
24:09We'll see Jaden Daniels week. Uh, we still don't have a timeline here with his elbow injury.
24:14Dan Quinn did say expected to return to return this season, but now they're exploring more things here.
24:19Caleb Williams week to week with a hamstring injury has not been ruled out for Monday night football against the Eagles.
24:26I really hope he plays. Look forward to that game.
24:29Sam Sam Darnold expected a practice on Wednesday. He could play at Washington.
24:33He's another guy you can get on the waiver wire.
24:36If he plays at Washington, uh, Kyler Murray is going to start this week at Tampa Bay.
24:41So I guess you guys would just rather have Bryce young than Kyler Murray rest of season at this point.
24:47Uh, I have Kyler second on the list, but yeah, I think at this point looking at what Bryce young has done, I would lean toward Bryce.
24:55Michael Penix jr. Is going to start on Thursday at green Bay at running back.
24:59Jonathan Brooks is going to miss some time. He re aggravated his groin injury.
25:03If you drafted Chuba Hubbard, congratulations. JK Dobbins has a hamstring injury.
25:07So does RJ Harvey Dobbins. It seems like they're expecting him to be ready for week three against the Rams.
25:13Rico Dowdle. Not sure about this one. He left with a toe injury gets the Bengals this week.
25:19Jalen Warren, tremendous usage after Dowdle left the game and Saquon Barkley has a stinger kind of weird.
25:24We haven't really heard anything on this one here.
25:27Uh, we'll keep an eye on Saquon Barkley and what it means for tank Bigsby and all that a question.
25:33If tanks, if, if Saquon Barkley were out and, and JK Dobbins were out, uh, who would you rather have this week
25:39tank Bigsby against the bears or Jonah Coleman against the Rams?
25:43Coleman. Do we know if RJ Harvey is out too?
25:46No, but Tyler Bidet took that Harvey role. Let's say he's out.
25:49Let's say he's out. Then it's Coleman over Bigsby.
25:52Cause we know Bigsby is going to wraps, excuse me, with, uh, will Shipley.
25:56Yeah. He's the downs guy. Bigsby, the running downs guy.
25:59All right. Wide receiver news. Nico Collins may miss another game.
26:02Zay flowers could play this week at Dallas. That'd be awesome.
26:06Oh, that game's in Brazil. Right. Um, is that right?
26:09Yes. Yeah. But, uh, Oh, does that mean we have an early game on Sunday?
26:13No, four 30. Okay. Cause when we have early games, our, our Sunday show is starts at nine 30 anyway, or eight 30.
26:20Yeah. Okay. Well, we'll tell you about that. I think next week, uh, Michael Pittman status is unclear.
26:25Mike Evans looks like he's going to play, but they're going to monitor him.
26:30He's almost certainly going to miss practice on. Well, I wouldn't say that Mike Evans is going to be on the injury report.
26:37Uh, Jaden Reed. We don't know. Caleb Douglas left with an ankle injury.
26:41The Colts signed out, uh, sang Darius Slayton. Alec Pierce is going to miss several weeks.
26:45If not more. I mean, he could miss the season at this point right now.
26:50He's going to try to avoid surgery. Alec Pierce, but he's going to miss some time.
26:55Um, Jalen McMillan. This I thought was so interesting that Ted Hearst just completely played over Jalen McMillan.
27:00Jalen McMillan barely played what they said. McMillan is not fully healthy yet, but he's getting closer.
27:05So we'll see what that split looks like. Cause I think Hearst in 8% of leagues is a good pick for pickup
27:12for deep leagues, but not if McMillan's going to get more play.
27:15And Malik neighbors has this shoulder issue. His shoulder popped out.
27:19They popped it back in. We'll see if he's able to play.
27:22I assume he would. He returned. And had one horrible cat, one catch for one yard, uh, against the Rams.
27:28It gets the Titans this week. Dallas Goddard sprained MCL.
27:31He's going to miss time. Hopefully goes on IR for your roster spot.
27:35Um, and Zach Ertz was signed. He is 35 years old, but he did average about 10 points per game in each
27:42of his last two seasons with Washington. That's not bad.
27:45Um, Brock Bowers will practice this week, hopefully back.
27:48And David Njoku and Charlie Kohler are both on IR.
27:51So we do have some deep league tight ends that are interesting.
27:54Uh, and then we've got a lot of offensive line stuff here.
27:58Giants really horrible night in terms of injuries, including left tackle, Andrew Thomas, Patriots, right tackle, um, Mike on when, who long-term injury.
28:05Is he officially out for the year? Not yet.
28:07I think so. All right. Not officially. Top three at each position.
28:11Jamie, who are the top three quarterbacks to get?
28:14Yeah. You mentioned two quarterbacks already. Bryce Young would be one.
28:17And then Kyler Murray would be two. And I go back and forth between Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota as the third one.
28:24You know, if you need somebody for a one-week situation or maybe a little longer, you can go with CJ Stroud or
28:30Geno Smith just based on their schedules. But we've seen what Jameis and Mariota have done when given opportunities to start as recently as the last two seasons.
28:39And so I think there's lots of upside there, especially if Malik Nabors is healthy for the Giants.
28:44So depending on what you're looking at, what you need, you know, if you feel more comfortable with Stroud or with Geno
28:51Smith, I'm certainly fine putting those guys ahead of Jameis and Mariota.
28:54But the top two for me are locked in and Bryce Young and Kyler Murray.
28:59I agree with the top two. No love for Jacoby Brissett.
29:02He's up there. You know, I mean, it's been a little frustrating so far to start the season that he threw the
29:09ball 37 times and got you 18 fantasy points in week one.
29:13Very disappointing game against Seattle in week two. We know the schedule is not getting very easy as it moves along.
29:19This is easier in week three than it was last week.
29:22But I think just there's just as much upside with Jameis and Mariota as we've seen similar to Brissett as he came in last year.
29:30You know, if you start to look at some of the sample sizes for those guys and then when you look at
29:36the schedules for Stroud and for Geno, I think you can make arguments that those guys are in just as good a situation.
29:43So as we know, as we've already talked about, there's lots of managers that need quarterbacks right now.
29:49So if Jacoby is in the top three for you or maybe even number one, just based on what he did last year.
29:55Sure. Go ahead. Okay. All right, Dave, who are your top three running backs?
30:00Coleman's number one. Bigsby's number two. If we're working on the assumption that Saquon Barkley is not going to play this week
30:06and maybe you even stash Bigsby because Saquon hasn't looked like Saquon so far this season.
30:11And then Emmitt Johnson's number three. And that's more of a stash play.
30:15You're seeing the guy who's the backup to Kenneth Walker III looking good on limited reps.
30:20They're talking about giving him more reps, which makes sense.
30:23They've given so much work to Kenneth Walker through the first two weeks that they've got to take some work off of him.
30:30I know that sounds terrible to people that have Walker, but he's still going to get over 20 touches a game.
30:36Johnson would be third for me. So give me Coleman one, Bigsby two, Johnson three.
30:41If you don't want to worry about the Eagle situation, because it could be very short-lived, then Emmitt Johnson would jump to number two.
30:48Gosh, I hate when we don't know a running back status when we're making our waiver claims.
30:53I just hate it. It's an argument for pushing your waiver night to Wednesday night instead of Tuesday night.
30:59But it's really frustrating here. We won't know with the Eagles if you're going on that assumption because they play Monday.
31:05Well, they won't get a practice report, but we might get a report.
31:09What about Saquon Barkley? And just keep an eye on, and I agree with Dave on the first two.
31:14I would actually just, and Emmitt Johnson's awesome. So if you're just taking a long-term approach, that's true.
31:20That's the rest of the season deal. He might be number two easily if you just want to avoid it.
31:26But Emmanuel Wilson, if there's no Daedarian Price, clearly the Seahawks told you who their backup guy is right now.
31:32So Wilson coming off 21 carries has got an opportunity to take on a Washington defense that might be horrible.
31:38So I think Wilson is in the discussion for the top three.
31:42Just one thing about the Eagles situation is it's probably not going to be all Bigsby because we saw Will Shipley play a lot.
31:49He's another one. Like if you are in a deeper league and you can't get Bigsby because Bigsby was drafted in a
31:55lot of deep leagues already, like take a flyer on Shipley and maybe he has another seven for 24 and a couple catches.
32:02And especially if it's a full game situation for the Eagles taking on a bad Bears defense.
32:07All right. And I forgot to mention the Daedarian Price news.
32:11He has a chest injury, but it doesn't seem like it's a big or is a shoulder.
32:16I forget what it was. He left the game with what was classified as a chest injury.
32:21And then Mike McDonald said it's more of a shoulder.
32:24So we'll see. But this is where it's tricky.
32:27Like you said, we have all three of the main injuries sound like they're not serious.
32:31But you also are talking about we don't know how Price will play through pain and what the Seahawks will do.
32:38We don't know what Barclays situation is right now.
32:40We do know that Dobbins has a terrible injury history, but it sounds positive.
32:45So you just have to be a little bit cautious with your fab.
32:49You may end up spending too much on somebody that doesn't help you immediately.
32:53Okay. Wide receivers. Jamie, who are your top three wide receivers?
32:56So Denzel Boston, I agree with Dave, but I really struggled with between him and Trey Tucker just because I think there's opportunities for both to be successful.
33:04And you saw what we were hoping for for Trey Tucker in week two when he had five catches for 119 yards and a touchdown on seven targets.
33:13So there's plenty of upside there. Boston is the much higher ceiling if things hit for him.
33:18It's just you don't want to chase the fluky touchdowns.
33:21And that's the thing that's a little concerning. But Deshaun Watson is playing much better than anybody expected.
33:26Boston is showing that he's a playmaker. And I hope this continues.
33:30I just don't know if like the when you see the touchdowns, the garbage time one week one against Jacksonville, and then
33:37he's bouncing off defenders against Tampa Bay. Like you just don't want to overestimate what he can do rest of season.
33:43But there's just so much to love about what he and Concepcion can eventually become.
33:47I put Rashad Bateman third. We do expect Zay Flowers to come back.
33:51But you've heard me say this now for basically two weeks since Jacoby Lane's injury is that there's two guys missing.
33:58So whether Flowers returns or not, Lane is not coming back anytime soon.
34:01And Bateman, very small sample size, but it's now eight games going back to 2024 with at least five targets.
34:08He did it again in week three where he gets you 15.8 PPR points or more in now six of those eight games.
34:14So there's just an opportunity here for Bateman. If Flowers is out, must start wide receiver against the Cowboys.
34:20If Flowers is in, I think he's still a starter in three receiver league.
34:24So you can go Adnan Mitchell. You can go Dontavian Wicks.
34:28There's just a lot of different players in this position that you can sort of say all sort of fall in line as number three receivers.
34:35I just think when you look at Boston and Tucker's situation, it shouldn't change anything.
34:40Bateman's situation could change. Mitchell's situation could change when Omar Cooper's back.
34:44Obviously, Dontavian Wicks now has a plus because Goddard's out.
34:47We don't know what they'll do with Zach Ertz.
34:49But maybe Makai Lemon starts to get a little bit more runs.
34:53So there's lots of different guys. I mean, we'll talk about it when we get to the position.
34:58But I think for me, it's the top two locked in and then Rashad Bateman right now is third.
35:04I agree with the top two locked in. When Brock Bowers is back, I wonder what that means for Trey Tucker and
35:11whether or not we can count on him as anything more than like a low-end boomer bus flex.
35:16I think there's staying power with Denzel Boston. He had a 94% route rate in week two.
35:21It's like 97% in week one. So we know right away he's a full-time player for the Browns.
35:27Seven targets in week two. That's huge. He had one ball go right through his hands.
35:31I kind of wish that that wasn't the case.
35:34But I do think that he's going to be a good contributor as long as Deshaun Watson is the quarterback.
35:40And I don't worry about the play and the almost touchdown where the ball went.
35:45I think it was right through his hands. It was really close.
35:48It could have been knocked away. I don't remember off the top of my head.
35:53But the bottom line is I think that there's staying power.
35:56I think that there's room for him to get you like five for 60 every week.
36:01And that's a number three receiver. If you had to pick right now for both of you, if you had to pick
36:07right now, who would you say is the best rookie wide receiver rest of season?
36:12Forget about what they did in the first two weeks.
36:15How can I forget about what they did over the first two weeks?
36:19No, no, no. You don't get that production. Yeah.
36:21I cannot say Cornell Tate. No, I think it's either Boston or Tyson because if Tyson comes back the way that this New Orleans offense has been operating.
36:30In fact, if that dude's out there and you've got IR spots, stash city.
36:34You just wonder though if Valey's done enough to make that a problem.
36:38I'm going to say Malachi Fields. I'm going to say Denzel Boston.
36:42Yeah, I've been impressed too. It could always go super south with Deshaun Watson, obviously.
36:46But yeah, I'm glad you brought up that almost touchdown because the touchdown he had was completely fluky.
36:52That was ridiculous. So he actually, hold on. He had the ball and it looks like it got knocked away.
36:58Okay. I don't think it was a drop. Yeah, it's fine.
37:01And you know. He wasn't credited. He plays all the time.
37:04Yeah, but it's tough. It's a good question, Jamie.
37:07He did not drop. Dave, who are your top three tight ends?
37:10Schultz is number one. That's easy. Just too much target volume.
37:14Check down guy. He's almost running one of two routes every single play.
37:18And whenever they're up against zone coverage, he's going to get a lot.
37:22I put Gadsden second because without Njoku there, without Kohler there, it seems like he's going to have the opportunity to play a lot for the Chargers.
37:30And I don't know. I think that Justin Herbert could use a short area target.
37:34I put Fryermuth third. And it's not with a lot of confidence.
37:38I just like the matchup this week. And if you're getting him, you're streaming him.
37:42So Schultz one. Huge staying power, especially in PPR.
37:45Gadsden, Fryermuth two and three. Yeah. The only thing I'll change to that is my God, Terrence Ferguson finally got involved last night and he looked awesome.
37:53And Puga Nakua may not play in week two, but this was expected to be the third option in this passing game.
38:00And Stafford finally looked like Stafford again. And the Rams back in America look like the Rams again.
38:05Yeah. So give me Terrence Ferguson. He might be, you know, if you want to talk about deep league options, like hello.
38:12He's double in 80% of leagues. Yeah. I mean, just an absolute stud as we talked about in the off season, if
38:18he ever got the opportunity and if they were going to move on.
38:22Remember, there was the talk of them moving on from Devante Adams at one point.
38:27Like this was a guy we were very excited about and you finally got to see it last night.
38:32So Ferguson. You'd put him ahead of Gadsden and Fryermuth?
38:35Without question. Okay. Unless you tell me right now Puga's coming back, but we just don't know.
38:41Yeah. I mean, Puga was warming up, right? He was questionable the whole way.
38:45Yeah. But I don't, I don't think that you're not going to get this from Ferguson, but I think there's opportunity still
38:51for Ferguson to get plenty of chance. Remember Colby Parkinson was a streaming tight end by the end of the season.
38:58This kid is much more athletic and productive than, or has a chance to be more productive than Colby Parkinson.
39:04He was. And I think what I would say is this, right?
39:07Like Terrence Ferguson probably has more long-term potential. Pat Fryermuth has a 13.5% target share in each of his first two games.
39:14They're just, they've thrown 79 passes in two games.
39:17That's not great. But you know, this is what I, okay.
39:20Long-winded way of saying, if you maybe want to pick up Ferguson, you can't get Schultz, get Ferguson.
39:25If you think that there will still be options on the waiver wire, like Pat Fryermuth, like O'Ronday Gass, and maybe guys,
39:32maybe people just won't pick them up. There might be other options.
39:36Like I, TJ Hawkinson's playing the Buccaneers. They look like they're absolutely horrible against tight ends.
39:40Darren Waller. I'm telling you. Hunter Henry. I mean, I'm surprised Hunter Henry's not on this list, by the way.
39:46He's, he's on the list. It's like, if you're talking matchups, it's Kenya Sadiq, if you want to trust.
39:52Yeah. But I mean, Sadiq's got. Look what the Lions have done.
39:56They made Noah Fant look like a star. They made Juwan Johnson look like Juwan Johnson.
40:00And then Dalton Kincaid just absolutely obliterated them. I know.
40:03Let me tell you about. Like he's, he's too much of a reach for me.
40:08I think I could see it happening. He's very much a reach.
40:12But if you're just playing matchups, like it's Friar Muth and it's, it's a Sadiq.
40:16Right. So the, the, the case for Ferguson is simply this.
40:19If there is no Puka Nakua, we saw it last night, 72% route rate, nine targets.
40:24That's awesome. Yes. Buy into that week. One Puka's on the field.
40:28He had a 45% route rate. He had one target week one.
40:31Yeah. Maybe you do. But the route rate though, that's the difference.
40:35They didn't use them a lot. And maybe that was just because they were trailing in the game.
40:40I'm not exactly sure what goes into it. We could research that if you wanted to, but the bottom line is that
40:47as long as Puka's out, yeah, I'm with you on Ferguson.
40:50And that makes them a priority until we know if Puka's back.
40:54And if Puka's back, then maybe you pivot off of Ferguson.
40:57Okay. So to recap, Bryce Young, Kyler Murray, and then Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota.
41:02Those were the top three quarterbacks for Jamie at running back.
41:05Dave went Jonah Coleman, tank Bigsby, Emmett Johnson, a wide receiver.
41:08Jamie said Denzel Boston, Trey Tucker, Rashad Bateman. Yep.
41:11At tight end, Dave said Dalton Schultz, Arande Gadsden, Pat Friermuth.
41:14But you just heard a spirited case for Terrence Ferguson.
41:17Yeah. Ferguson makes sense ahead of Gadsden and Friermuth.
41:20Okay. So Schultz, Ferguson, Gadsden, Friermuth. And now it's time for coverage you can count on sponsored by Nationwide.
41:26And just like your fantasy roster is more than just your offensive starters, Nationwide is a great insurance company and one of
41:32America's largest financial services companies as well. So don't forget about the defensive side of the ball.
41:37And remember, Nationwide is on your side. And Jamie, the DST that we want on our side this week is?
41:44It's really more the offense that you want on your side.
41:47And the offense that you want on your side is the Dolphins offense.
41:51And so any team that's playing the Dolphins offense, you want to play that defense against them.
41:56So this week it's the Chiefs. They're available in about 43% of leagues.
42:00They didn't look great against the Colts. They look much better clearly in week one.
42:04I think we'll see this Chiefs defense and Steve Spagnuolo blitz the snot out of Malik Willis.
42:09And Malik Willis through two weeks has really struggled when he's been blitzed.
42:13Makes sense to just trust any defense that's playing against the Dolphins because now they're down Caleb Douglas potentially.
42:19So this passing game could look even worse. Willis hasn't exactly been turnover prone, so that's a good thing.
42:25But I think he's going to get hit quite a bit.
42:28And there's obviously the opportunity for him to have some turnovers on a weekly basis.
42:32So the Chiefs are a top three DST for week number three.
42:36They also get the Raiders the following week, which may or may not be a good matchup, but it's probably not a bad matchup.
42:43And that was coverage you can count on sponsored by Nationwide.
42:47Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company.
42:50They're one of America's largest financial companies too. Take your game to the next level with Nationwide for your insurance and financial needs.
42:57Nationwide is on your side. Nationwide Investment Services Corporation, member FINRA, Columbus, Ohio.
43:00By the way, Jamie also likes the Packers against the Falcons, even with Michael Penix.
43:05The Bengals at Pittsburgh. The defense is playing pretty well.
43:08And the Giants hopefully get Brian Burns back. Giants against the Titans this week.
43:12Dave, do you have another DST or any thoughts on the DSTs?
43:16I like the Giants and Bengals for sure. What about the Bills against the Chargers?
43:20Just the way that the Chargers have looked so wonky.
43:23Do you even consider Buffalo to get a couple of sacks and turnovers in the game?
43:28Yeah, it's not bad. It's not a great week for DSTs.
43:31You know, the Packers really is just like, what version of Penix are we going to see?
43:36Hopefully it's a good one. So I always get a little curious how some of these teams, especially starting the season, so
43:43the Packers back-to-back road games, Dolphins even back-to-back road games.
43:46You know, they're finally coming home. So does that sort of give them a little bit of juice, you know, just being
43:53back in their building, especially being on the road?
43:55Dolphins stayed out west for both of their games to start the season after playing the Raiders and the 49ers.
44:01So not that means you're getting away from the Chiefs by any stretch.
44:05But, you know, going back home is always a little bit of a good option.
44:10Somebody mentioned the Panthers. Yeah, you can go with the Panthers as well, coming off a strong defensive performance and taking on the Browns.
44:17But the Browns, I think, got to give them some credit.
44:20They've looked much better than I think anybody expected.
44:23They've started slow in their first two games. And then especially last week, they started to put it all together, at least through the air.
44:31By the way, great news for the Chargers. They lost their left guard for a while.
44:35So awesome stuff there. Which one? What's that? Which one?
44:38Not Pipkins? No. Coyote, Coyote, Owasika. Yeah. I'm sorry.
44:41I have absolutely no idea how to pronounce it.
44:44That is not good news. Okay. We'll be right back with deep league, shallow leagues.
44:48I guess we'll recap last night's game. Devontae Adams.
44:51Wow. We'll be right back on Fantasy Football today.
44:54I recently took a trip to Memphis for the FFT Draftathon.
44:57While we were there, we also got to experience a little bit of what makes Memphis so special, including some of the food the city is famous for.
45:05We had Memphis-style barbecue with pulled pork, ribs, and all the classic sides.
45:09It was an incredible trip, especially getting to spend time with everyone involved, enjoy some great local food, and support a cause
45:16that means so much to all of us. And while I was away enjoying the trip, my place back home was just sitting empty.
45:23It got me thinking. If you're going to be away anyway, why not put that space to use?
45:29While you're traveling or taking off for a long weekend, you could list your space on Airbnb and earn some extra cash while you're gone.
45:36And when big events come to your city, like a major game, concert, festival, or convention, travelers are looking for places to stay.
45:43Listing your space on Airbnb can be a way to welcome those visitors to your city while putting your space to work
45:50and earning some extra cash that you can put toward your next trip.
45:53Your home might be worth more than you think.
45:56Find out how much at airbnb.com slash host. Support for today's show comes from Square, the platform behind so many of the local businesses we all love.
46:04Whenever I go to my local sports bar on the weekend, it's packed.
46:08The energy is electric and the line moves like lightning because they use Square.
46:12I just tap my phone, grab my wings, and even earn loyalty points without missing a single play.
46:18It's just so seamlessly put together. But Square is way more than just a slick register.
46:23It's an all-in-one system that lets business owners take payments, manage inventory, handle staff payroll, and track sales from one easy dashboard.
46:29Whether you run a bustling sports bar, a bike shop, or a boutique, Square simplifies the daily grind without requiring an IT team or hidden fees.

46:57Get started today. Jamie, as we take a look at the shallow leagues, there's some really good names.
47:03A couple guys in particular that it's like, well, I guess you throw Shuck in there as well.
47:08Guys who are rostered in about 75% of CBS leagues that I think would be just like, oh man, pick them up immediately.
47:15I'm not going to say them yet. Who do you think are the shallow league guys that would make Jonah Coleman look like garbage on the waiver wire?
47:24Number one, and it's not close, is Josh Downs.
47:26You mentioned Alec Pierce and his injury and Downs.
47:29Seven for 72, nine targets. They add Darius Slayton.
47:32I don't think that impacts Downs. You also have a looming suspension for Keenan Allen that could happen at some point this season.
47:39So Downs looks like the number one receiver and at least number two in terms of targets, maybe number one moving forward.
47:45So Downs would be first. Chuck would definitely be on that list.
47:49Juwan Johnson would absolutely be on that list based on what he's accomplished.
47:53I got one more. I'm trying to think if there's a running back one.
47:57Yeah. Rashad White. Yes. Rashad White. Yeah. You know, I, I jumped the gun in saying that he did not look great
48:04in week one and looked much better. And the guy that I think we were all hoping to see in week two,
48:10mostly from a reception standpoint, you know, clearly being one of the go-to guys in the passing game.
48:16So hopefully that continues, you know, Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt's going to have games.
48:19I think when they're playing with a lead or have an opportunity to, who knows how that'll, you know, go moving forward without Jayden Daniels in there.
48:27So Rashad White's a great call. Yeah. Yeah. Shuck is available in half of Yahoo leagues.
48:32Yeah. Rashad White is too. Yeah. 56% rostered. We're Shuck here.
48:35Shuck is already rostered too high on sleeper, but if, if he's out there, then do you like him or do you like Bryce Young?
48:43I kind of like Shuck. I, yeah, I, I think there's probably a little bit more upside with Shuck just, you know,
48:49I, and I don't know if that's fair to say that to Bryce Young, just what he's done the first two games.
48:56But I think like you said before, Dave, once they get Jordan Tyson back, then this could be one of the best
49:03receiving cores in the, in the league. If they like continues to do this, I did skip kickers.
49:08I apologize. Kickers that Jamie has on the waiver wire, trace Mack against Atlanta, Spencer Schrader against Houston, Ryan Fitzgerald at Cleveland and will Lutz against the Rams.
49:17Those are some kickers to look at. If you could tell me in 15 seconds, what goes into your kicker waiver wire,
49:23uh, picks, uh, recent performance environment and projected score.
49:26Some performance. Okay. Good stuff. Good to know. Uh, and later in the year, obviously we'll factor weather in with kickers as well.
49:33Well, Dave, we waste, you wasted a lot of my time today.
49:36What are we doing here? Talking about Jonah Coleman and Rashad white.
49:40You know what? I've got nothing out of this show because none of these guys are available in my league.
49:46Who are some of the deeply guys that we need to know?
49:50Even if you want to repeat some that Jamie mentioned earlier.
49:53Sure. So these are going to be players that are available in less than 40% of CBS sports leagues.
49:59Jacoby Brissett is the top quarterback for me. You can certainly look at Marcus Mariota as well.
50:04I don't love the matchup for Mariota this week, but we know that he's going to be the starter for the commanders
50:10for the next several weeks, maybe even months based on what happened to Jaden Daniels.
50:15I Gino Smith would probably be next best. And he's available in about 80% of CBS sports leagues.
50:20So that's pretty good running backs. Do I say his name, Adam?
50:24Do I say it after we talked about him yesterday?
50:27We haven't brought his name up yet once. Who is this?
50:30Caleb Johnson. Oh yeah. Yeah. Packers. Okay. So how about some positive things about Caleb?
50:35He played as many snaps as Lloyd. He remains.
50:37Uh, uh, okay. Well that's, he played as many snaps pretty positive.
50:41No, he had some good runs, but it's, he really only gets yardage when the offensive line is blocking.
50:47He's not a creator and he's not a burner.
50:49And I don't know how good of a pass catcher he is.
50:53And I, he's available in over 90% of leagues.
50:56If you're desperate for a running back that might see eight touches and probably not work at the goal line and definitely will not work on passing downs.
51:04Uh, that's my ringing endorsement for, for Caleb Johnson.
51:07And I have to say his name first because all the other running backs that we've talked about today, save for Emmanuel
51:13Wilson are rostered in 40% plus of CBS sports league.
51:16So yeah, of course, Wilson would be the guy available 95% plus.
51:20If Jadarian price was out, you could always start your week by adding Emmanuel Wilson and then, uh, changing it off to
51:27Caleb Johnson or Keaton Mitchell or Devin Singletary. I'm, I'm going to throw up just going over these names.
51:32At what point do you think Josh Jacobs is back?
51:35And I know we don't know the answer to that.
51:38Week seven. Week seven. Oh, you're, you're making decisions as if Jacobs will be back in week seven, basically week seven at Detroit.
51:45Okay. The alternative would be week nine at new England, somewhere in there.
51:49You'll have him for the second half of the year.
51:52This is my assumption. It's not based on obviously any news.
51:55Nothing's come out. He remains on the commissioner's exemplus.
51:58I suppose that there's a chance that he stays on it for the entire year, but just the track record of players
52:05that have had the transgressions that he's had along with the no contest plea that he made suggests he's trying to get
52:11his, his season back at some point. Yeah. Okay.
52:14So Dave, give me like two or three deep league wide receivers that you'd prioritize.
52:19Aiden's a great one because he's available in over 60% of CBS sports leagues.
52:23Adonai Mitchell's another one who had double digit targets in week two.
52:26And I think the jets will be, I think the jets are going to throw the ball a good amount this year,
52:33maybe a little bit more than we gave him credit for.
52:36They didn't have to do it so much in week one.
52:40They definitely didn't. We too absolutely well in week three.
52:43And there's been about Adonai Mitchell with Geno Smith since August.
52:46So I would put him on the list. I would also put Xavier Hutchinson on the list and then going to tight ends.
52:53We talked about, I'm already Terrence Ferguson, Ronda Gadsden, Pat Friermuth.
52:56Those would be the three. Okay. Yeah. I actually think that deep league wide receivers are pretty appealing, you know, for deep
53:03league wide receivers, but I'm thinking in my leagues, you know, three receiver PPR leagues, Xavier Hutchinson nearly had a 40 yard touchdown catch CJ Stroud missed them.
53:11And, and I, you know, it seems like Nico's going to miss another game.
53:15It's just my kind of gut from reading the tea leaves.
53:19And if Hutchinson had caught that ball, you know, he's 7% roster.
53:22He's probably up to 30% this week. He wouldn't be top two though.
53:26He would not be top two. If he had caught that ball, who would, who would be?
53:31Well, I mean, Denzel Boston and Trey. No, I'm talking about the deep league guys.
53:36Just no, no, no. He, he, he would be a good short term ad because I don't think anybody's interested in starting Hutchinson.
53:43No, when Nico's back, but he's got the Colts, right?
53:46And the Colts just at their past defense so far against a flowers at 150 yards and a half.
53:51And then you had Xavier worthy Jalen Royals with a touchdown.
53:55You had 80 yards for Taequann Thornton, you know, is so like, it's just, it's a, it's a good enough sample size
54:01when Nico Collins has been out small, but three games over the last two years.
54:06And he has six targets or more in all three of those.
54:09The weird one though, was Jared Wayne, like getting seven targets and a bunch of, they like him.
54:15Yep. Okay. And there's also, and then there's one more, there's one more Kalief Raymond is like the only consistent bears pass
54:21catcher through two weeks of the season. And Tyson Bayesian though.
54:25That's the thing. Yeah. I think Tyson Bayesian is actually going to keep this offense on time and that might actually work against Kalief Raymond.
54:32But if you want some, he's low on the list.
54:35Like every other receiver we've named should be ahead of Kalief Raymond last week.
54:39One more injury replacement because he played well in week two would be Keon Coleman.
54:44He's 4% rostered and had six catches and you know, he's on the field a lot.
54:49So we'll see in against a bad charter defense.
54:51Absolutely. And then there's Kendrick Bourne who, well, whatever.
54:54I kind of like Kendrick Bourne in that deep league format and Ted Hurst, I think is interesting.
55:00But again, I was a little disappointed. I guess the McMillan thing still lingers, but Ted Hurst could have had a pretty big game.
55:07Caleb Baker Mayfield just did not play well. And keep an eye on another just deeply guys.
55:12Jeremy Bernard is had eight targets against the Patriots.
55:15That was a tough matchup. We don't know when Pittman's coming back and Bernard may get an opportunity to maybe supplant Pittman
55:21as a number two receiver there in Pittsburgh. Need some Purell.
55:24Am I right? Thank you. Thank you. Rams 28 Giants six.
55:28Yeah. Jimmy J said, Aaron Judge hurt. Jackson Dart hurt.
55:31This is how it goes. At least you had the Knicks.
55:34And that is how I feel because you guys don't care, but my college football team is also extremely injured right now.
55:41But the Giants last night, oh, I mean, Dart, then neighbors, Andrew Thomas late in the game.
55:46Andrew Thomas looked like crap the whole game, I thought.
55:49And then Brian Burns, horrible game for the Giants.
55:52Hopefully they get back on track. Their schedule is so much easier.
55:55Tennessee, Arizona at Washington, New Orleans are the next four games.
55:58Gosh, wouldn't it be great if Jackson Dart were available for these games?
56:02There's, there's, uh, there's so much like revenge game narratives between the Giants and the Titans with coaches and players on both sides.
56:09Yeah. Yeah. And what do you think about neighbors, Jamie one catch and you know, he was okay against Dallas, but horrible in this game.
56:17Do you have long-term concerns for neighbors? Not really.
56:19I, you know, I, I got a little excited when Jameis came in because we know what Jameis typically does for wide
56:26receivers and then immediately neighbors gets hurt. So we just don't know the extent of what he's dealing with.
56:32Hopefully it'll be a hundred percent. You know, you go back to the comments he made prior to week one about if
56:38he's not feeling a hundred percent, is he going to play?
56:42So you wonder if the shoulder is bothering him, if he's going to go out there.
56:47I love the fact that he came back into the game if he's not a hundred percent.
56:52So that's clearly encouraging, but look, the Giants offense just looked lost last night.
56:56You know, Scadaboo couldn't really do anything. It's just frustrating that he keeps coming off the field so much.
57:02Um, like what, what was your, uh, what was your, your question?
57:05More touchdowns or catches Sunday night for Scadaboo and Corum, they both had one or I'm sorry, Corum had one and Scadaboo had four.
57:12Yeah. It's good to see at least. Yeah. I just look, he's going to have games like this where, you know, when
57:19he's facing a good run defense, I think the Rams are going to have a good run defense.
57:24It's not going to be ideal for him. So I think he just kind of just throw this game out because dark
57:31getting hurt so early in the game, just kind of probably put them in a, in a little bit of a shell shock mode.
57:38And then the Rams just did whatever they wanted to almost offensively.
57:42So great to see the Rams play at this level again.
57:45I guess really the only frustrating thing is which version of Devante Adams we're going to get when Puka Nakua is back.
57:52So this is probably a sell high window for sure for him.
57:55Yes. Will Ferguson continue to be involved when Puka is back and Kyron's got to stop fumbling.
58:00I'm glad they continue to go to him right after the fumble, but this is now, I think he fumbled both, both games.
58:07Yeah. Um, you don't want to see that. Uh, they just kept possession.
58:11He got it back, you know, but Kyron getting the ball punched out twice.
58:15It's, it's, uh, something he's got to clearly work on.
58:18So scatter who played 59% of the snaps, which isn't really that bad.
58:22It was annoying when Harris was in, in like a goal to go situation, but scatter was inside of two minutes.
58:29So I don't know if scatter who would have ever been in there.
58:33No, he wasn't there. Cause he was in there on like the first play or he was in there on one of
58:39those plays and then they just took him out for Najee Harris or maybe they took out Harris for scat, whatever it was stupid.
58:46It was interesting that it wasn't single Terry cause usually single Terry is their hurry up back.
58:51Yeah. Well, it wasn't hurry up though, because it was like, they got the ball after the fumble at the 10 yard line.
58:58So yeah. Uh, yeah, I'm going to throw out some names here for Adams here because I understand the sell high, but
59:05we also saw what he can do. He's still a really good player.
59:09Even at his age, those catches he made were amazing.
59:12Uh, Devante Adams or lad McConkie rest of season lad.
59:15I just don't know how injured the ribs are for him.
59:18Like, and the chargers look so lost. I might go Adams Adams or, uh, Travis, a Chan Adams.
59:24I would lean Adams Adams or Bucky Irving Bucky.
59:26That one's close. I'll take Bucky. Also Adams or scatter boo Adams.
59:30I was drafted. I'll take, um, I think I'll take scatter boo.
59:34All right. Drop-o meter time. Zero to 10. Brian Thomas, jr.
59:37Five. Marshawn. Seven and 10 team leagues. Maybe four and 12 team leagues.
59:41Yeah. I mean, the, the, he's starting to make a pretty compelling case for worst guy on your bench.
59:46Uh, Marshawn Lloyd for three. Oh gosh. I'm higher than that.
59:50They might have just like a three headed crap monster for three more weeks.
59:54Um, four more weeks. Chris Rodriguez. Nine, seven. He's a handcuff.
59:57Yeah. He's a handcuff. Jordan love. I think Jordan loves in a bounce back.
60:01I do too. Would you drop him for Bryce young or Tyler shuck?
60:05Yes. Uh, those I would consider, but you know, I, I think the minute that you dropped Jordan love, he's getting picked
60:12up in every league because of the three teams that are looking for quarterbacks now.
60:16Quentin Johnston. I get my week. Chris Godwin. Two.
60:19I told you it was a Joe boo week.
60:22It's a 10 and non PPR and in half PPR and full PPR.
60:26It's like an eight. He put the boo in Joe boo.
60:29He, he looks okay. He doesn't look completely washed up to me.
60:33My, I think Baker may, like he was open a bunch of times.
60:37Chris Godwin Baker Mayfield. I was thinking about the song.
60:40I'm only happy when it rains by garbage. Uh, Baker Mayfield is only happy when he is running around like a maniac,
60:46throwing the ball a hundred yards downfield. Like just take guys stay in the pocket.
60:51Yeah. Yeah. Just take what the defense is giving you.
60:54Like stop overcomplicating things. Chris Godwin is open, but they're facing Minnesota this week.
60:58So even if God, even if you want to hold Godwin, it's going to be another bad.
61:03I can't start him and feel good about it.
61:06All right. Back to the waiver wire, Tyler Shuck, Bryce young.
61:09I don't know. Did you say who you prefer?
61:12I think you did, but I forgot. I said, Chuck, Chuck, but it's close.
61:16All right. Bryce young is number one. If Chuck is not available, then it's Kyler Murray and then Jameis Winston versus Mariota.
61:23I don't know. I think I'd probably go Mariota because I feel like Daniels would be out longer, but it's close between the two.
61:30Um, I feel like you're streaming either way. And so if you're streaming either way, you'll start the quarterback taking on Tennessee this week.
61:37I'm thinking more of two QB leagues. If you're looking for more long time, Oh, there, these aren't one QB leagues unless
61:44you're stuck, you know, like Dave keeps saying, which is true that every manager in your league or majority of manager leagues have two quarterbacks already.
61:51Like these are the guys you're picking from. So, you know, it's whatever, you know, whatever sample size you want to use for, for both of them.
62:00It's going back to 2024. It's, uh, Jameis with the Browns and his, uh, nine games, 19.3 fantasy points or more than five of those.
62:07Mariota started eight games last season and scored 20 fantasy points or more than four of them.
62:12So it's almost like identical. Uh, how they'll do it is different.
62:16Mariota in not all four of the games, we scored 20 or more fancy points, but in four of the eight starts,
62:22he got you 40 rushing yards or more. And Jameis, we know it was going to have a lot of spike games.
62:29You know, I think you'd feel a little bit better about Jameis cause he played so much last night if he had
62:36a better game, but that was really, I think just a by-product of the Rams just being a great defense.
62:42Like you said, Adam, we get, we get the Titans this week.
62:45This should be one of those games where Jameis goes off.
62:48It's Titans, Cardinals, commanders, saints. I'm going to, I'm going to guarantee it for me.
62:53I'm going to guarantee it ready. And I'll grow another beard.
62:56If I'm wrong, Jameis Winston is going to have at least one 30 point game in the next four weeks.
63:02No, 20, 26. He will hit 26 in at least one of those games.
63:07No, I think you're right. I think 30 works.
63:09Oh, by the way, I owe you a dollar.
63:12Uh, Dan did see Scarface. We never, we never circled back.
63:15Yeah, because Dan, like, uh, I'm not going to get into why I knew he would see Scarface.
63:21I'll tell you off the air. Um, CJ Stroud and Gino Smith have good matchups this week.
63:26Assuming Nico Collins out. Who do you like better?
63:28CJ Stroud or Gino Smith this week? Gino Stroud.
63:31Yeah. I'm sorry. Nico's out. Yeah. Yeah. Gino. All right.
63:34We got Jacoby Brissett. We got Michael Penix, Sam Darnold at Washington this week.
63:38If he's back to Sean Watson, he's running a little bit, 22 yards last week, 38 yards in week one.
63:44Um, these are his first 20 point game, by the way, since week three of 2024.
63:49Wow. And Tyson Bajan is a two QB league guy as well, but he may have a, might have a brief run.
63:56Uh, you know, I would say what about Kirk cousins?
63:59There's just so many guys like Kirk cousins could be okay against new Orleans.
64:03He was, he's been solid so far. Um, I'd rather start for set.
64:07All right. Running backs, running backs here. Uh, Mike Washington jr.
64:10And Woody Marks, Tyler Algier. These are shallow league guys.
64:13Plus Rashad white would be the best shallow league guy.
64:16If you saw Jonah Coleman and Rashad white on your waiver wire, who are you getting?
64:21What do I need? Right. Do I need a running back this week?
64:25It's Rashad white for sure. If I need somebody that's like longterm it's Coleman, unless we know for sure that Dobbins is going to miss this week.
64:33I think I would pick Coleman because of both those guys are on my waiver wire.
64:38That means the waiver wire is kind of plentiful for backup backs.
64:41And so I'd rather just roll the dice on Coleman, hoping that he's the guy this week.
64:47And if I'm wrong, then I cut them at some point and I pick up a different running back before Sunday.
64:53The Eagles are at the bears Monday. The Seahawks are at Washington and Washington has been pretty good against the run so far to be fair.
65:01Uh, if both Saquon Barkley and Jadarian price were out, how would you rank tank?
65:05Bigsby will ship Lee, Emmanuel Wilson, Jamie, I would go tank.
65:08Bigsby, Emmanuel Wilson will ship Lee. Okay. There's also Emmett Johnson.
65:12There's Alvin Kamara who had five catches might just get you some PPR points.
65:16Tajay Spears. So many yards though. Tajay Spears stinks.
65:19Um, but he's on this list because he's 50% rostered and he plays and Caleb Johnson.
65:23Uh, yeah, Dave talked about him and then there's DJ Dallas.
65:27Who's another option. Uh, that's another injury. Just keep an eye on Aaron Jones did leave briefly in the fourth quarter with
65:33any injury and it looked like DJ Dallas got his foot stepped on.
65:37And then immediately Aaron Jones came back in and Dallas is not listed on the injury report.
65:42I just wonder if it was like, Hey, I don't care what you're dealing with.
65:47Go back. And then he got absolutely blasted where his helmet came flying off.
65:51Um, I just hope Aaron Jones is fine. Cause he ran really well.
65:55I'm going to reach you to some wide receivers that are available in shallower leagues.
66:00And how many of them do you prefer to Denzel Boston?
66:03Uh, do you prefer Casey Concepcion? No. Boston. Let's say Boston.
66:06Romeo Dobbs or Denzel Boston? No. Boston. Boston. Uh, Xavier Worthy or Denzel Boston?
66:10Boston. Boston. Boston. Josh Downs or Denzel Boston? Downs.
66:13Downs, Downs. Devon Vele or Denzel Boston? Vele. I think I'd go Vele for now.
66:18Denzel Boston or Trey Tucker? Boston. It's both, but Boston.
66:21Yeah, it is close. Tucker, man. Every time he's had a game like this, he's followed it up with a dud in his career.
66:28Three games. And this was his fourth game with 80 or more yards.
66:32And the previous three games, he had five catches for 41 yards.
66:35He had one catch for 58 yards and a touchdown on one target.
66:39And he had two catches for 13 yards on two targets.
66:42He's so inconsistent, but it's maddening because this guy is blazing speed.
66:46Uh, Rashad Bateman. Yeah. Unfortunately, Zay, unfortunately for Bateman, Zay Flowers looking trending in the right direction.
66:51Uh, for Bateman, they talked about using him differently and 25% slot rate by far a career high, 8.7% motion rate by far a career high.
66:59And those were things that existed in week one as well.
67:02It wasn't just week two and now he gets Dallas.
67:05So maybe he could be something, you know, this year, but yeah, we know how it is with the Ravens.
67:11Uh, Adonai Mitchell, like zero to 10 on the add-o-meter for Adonai Mitchell.
67:15Five? Six. Would you drop Chris Godwin for him?
67:18No. Is it a non-PPR league? No. Is it a half PPR league?
67:22Sure. Yes. Dontavian Wicks, zero to 10. Five? Five.
67:25If DJ Moore were out this week, where would Keon Coleman be ranked?
67:28Uh, 0.0. Oh. I can't do that. I know.
67:31I know. He'd be up there. He'd be a borderline number three receiver.
67:3538, 39-ish range. Yep. Okay. Keenan Allen got an opportunity here with, uh, Alec Pierce out.
67:40Kalief Raymond. Kalief Raymond was a yard away from having a touchdown.
67:43I think Caleb Williams was a little late on the throw and if he throws it on time or maybe he just
67:50couldn't throw it on time, whatever, that's a touchdown for Kalief Raymond.
67:54Go away, Kalief Raymond. That's so funny. Xavier Hutchinson already made the case for him.
67:58Um, Hutchinson or Malik Washington? Who'd you pick up for this week?
68:02Hutchinson for this week. I think Malik Washington is just going to be what he is, which is eight PPR points.
68:08He'll get you. Yeah. Maybe like a 10, 11 week point week.
68:12It's just what happens now with Caleb Douglas if he misses the game.
68:16And I like, I like Kendrick Bourne a bit just because, um, you're not going to get 95 passing yards most weeks
68:22from Jacoby Brissett and Bent Bourne's on the field.
68:25He's their slot guy. And he had 15.5 points in week one.
68:29He had a terrible week too, but they all had terrible week twos against Seattle.
68:33Uh, Jeremy Bernard, what's that? Not Trey McQuarrie. Well, even he like, yes, he scored, but he had amazing 43 yards on 10 targets or something.
68:41Um, all right. And then, okay. All right. Let's go to the tight ends.
68:45Juwan Johnson, Jake Ferguson, Dalton Schultz, Jamie, how would you rank them if they were all available or you could drop one,
68:52you know, for Schultz, Juwan Johnson, Jake Ferguson, Dalton Schultz, uh, Schultz, Juwan Johnson, Jake Ferguson.
68:56I'd rather still have Terrence Ferguson than Jake Ferguson.
68:59Dave agrees on Schultz, Juwan Johnson, Jake Ferguson, it seems.
69:02And then there's Terrence Ferguson who we agreed should be number two on this list.
69:07Pat Frymuth, Jamie talked about his great history against the Bengals.
69:10Six touchdowns in those 10 games too. That's amazing.
69:13Hunter Henry, you know, if you're, if you're struggling at tight end, Hunter Henry's a guy you can pick up.
69:19He ran, I think he led the team in route participation.
69:22He led the team in targets. Now you see only, but yes, but he don't, but Drake may only threw 22 passes.
69:29Yeah. Listen, this is what we said going into the week that you can say Dobbs or Rom or Demario Douglas or Matt Collins, right?
69:36These guys, it was going to be Hunter Henry is the one that was the preferred option.
69:41Same thing with the Texans. It was the tight end is the one that has the best opportunity.
69:47And both those situations came to fruition. Yeah. It wasn't a big game because the game script, I mean, they had a defensive touchdown.
69:54They barely had a throw, but the next two games for the Patriots are the Jaguars on the road and then the bills on the road.
70:02So, you know, you could get six, seven targets maybe for Hunter Henry, Darren Waller caught two touchdowns.
70:07Remember he had one called back in week one at Cleveland this week, Rondae Gadsden.
70:12You think Gadsden could be awesome. I mean, what an opportunity here for Gadsden.
70:16He was really good last year with, you know, five targets is usually the number I'll look for.
70:21And I think it was eight games, six of those, he had 10 PPR points or more.
70:26So when he got chances, he was productive. It's just a, A, do you want to trust the Chargers right now?
70:33Which is just so hard to buy into with, with these guys and be like the bills for the most part have
70:39been very good at defending tight ends. So will this be one of those games where he just doesn't do very much and you get frustrated with him?
70:48He's still worth exploring though. If you have some tight end concerns.
70:51And then there's Kenyon Sadiq who has a great matchup at Detroit and he's at Chicago and Zach not great matchup, the
70:58best matchup, the best matchup so far. Uh, yeah.
71:01Yeah. No, it's, it's true. I mean, they're 10 plus half PPR points or more to three tight ends in two games.
71:07They've played four tight ends. If you throw in Dawson Knox and all four have scored touchdowns.
71:12So yeah, it's amazing. And Mason Taylor's hurt. Uh, any interest in TJ Hawkinson?
71:16Cause Tampa Bay is also, but Tampa Bay is giving up the second most fantasy points to tight ends.
71:22Hawkinson's a touchdown or a buzz. You know, I think when you look at Hawkinson and Brenton strange and those types of
71:29guys, like if they score, you'll be happy with starting them.
71:32It's kind of the same thing with Jake Ferguson.
71:35He would two catches for seven yards in week one.
71:38Then he comes back and has four catches and two of them are touchdowns.
71:42And so now all of a sudden he's looks like a potential starting option.
71:46So just don't chase those situations if you don't have to, but could easily do have, have one of those games.
71:52Yes. And we haven't seen what, what Hawkinson looks like with Kyler Murray.
71:56Anthony's asking Gadsden or Loveland and I would for week three, and I would expand it to say how many of those
72:03waiver wire tight ends would you start over Colson Loveland this week?
72:07Loveland's 18th for me this week. Schultz for sure over Loveland.
72:10Ferguson would be over Loveland if we knew Nakua would be out.
72:14I'd like to hear some of those names that you've got ahead of Loveland.
72:18Um, I have Hunter Henry ahead of him. I have, uh, it's a pretty good week for tight ends.
72:23Juwan Johnson ahead of him. Um, I'm trying to think like, where's the, I'm thinking of my, my tight ends in the teens.
72:30Um, let me see if I can give you some Andrews over him.
72:34Yeah. I'm with you there. Pitts. Yeah, for sure.
72:37With Jake Ferguson. I do have Jake Ferguson over Loveland this week.
72:41Harold Fannin Jr. I do have Harold Fannin over Loveland.
72:44Darren Waller. Uh, I don't think I have Waller over him.
72:47Okay. Trying to get an idea. And Fryermuth. Definitely Fryermuth.
72:50Wow. DST's chiefs. That matchup is just too dreamy.
72:53Chiefs against the Dolphins. That's great. That's at, is that at the Dolphins?
72:56It has to be at the Dolphins, right? It is.
72:59Yeah. Packers against Atlanta. Bengals at Pittsburgh. Giants against Tennessee.
73:02And the kickers again are Trey Smack, Spencer Schrader, Ryan Fitzgerald, and Will Lutz.
73:07And a comment from the chat. Did Heath hit Adam in the eye?
73:11No. I have no idea what happened to my eye.
73:14But it's a little messed up right now. It hurts like hell.
73:17So I'm questionable. Wash your hands when you go to the bathroom.
73:21Disgusting. It was disgusting when you said it off the air and it's disgusting on the air.
73:26But why do I have to wash my hands?
