Aaron Jones

NegativeInjury23:42

The Vikings are worried about Aaron Jones's current injury status.

Insight page
NegativeInjury24:37

The outlook for Aaron Jones is concerning, leading to a retraction of his status as a recommended starter.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

NegativeInjury25:34

Alec Pierce is expected to be placed on IR, but fantasy managers should wait before attempting to move him to an IR roster spot.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

NegativeBust21:43

Heath Cummings advises avoiding Mayfield against the Vikings, citing poor offensive line play, Mayfield holding the ball too long, and a difficult matchup against Brian Flores' defense.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeUsage58:52

Square advises patience with Brian Thomas Jr., noting his target-per-route-run rate increased to 35% in Week 2, despite a difficult schedule.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveInjury25:48

Brock Bowers is expected to play.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeBust26:49

Jamie Eisenberg warns that Irving is a 'trap back' who lacks heavy involvement in the passing game and faces a tough Patriots run defense that has allowed very few rushing touchdowns to running backs.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

NegativeInjury25:20

Caleb Douglas missed practice.

Insight page

Case Keenum

NegativeDepth Chart22:32

Case Keenum could start on Monday night if Tyson Bajan is unable to clear concussion protocol.

Insight page

Chigoziem Okonkwo

NegativeInjury25:50

Chigoziem Okonkwo missed practice again.

Insight page

Chris Bell

PositiveInjury25:22

Chris Bell is dealing with a knee injury; he has seen minimal target volume this season.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveRole8:15

Jamie Eisenberg views Hubbard as a must-start RB1, noting that with Brooks out, the backfield job is his. Despite a tough matchup against the Browns' run defense, Hubbard's high snap share and involvement in a productive offense make him a top-11 play.

Insight page

Colby Parkinson

NegativeInjury25:53

Colby Parkinson missed practice.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeBust25:07

Jamie Eisenberg advises against starting Loveland, noting his poor performance through two weeks and the transition to a backup quarterback against a tough Eagles defense.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveInjury25:30

DJ Moore was limited in practice but reported feeling good.

Insight page
NegativeUsage46:52

Square notes DJ Moore's reduced route participation in Week 2 was likely due to injury and game script, and maintains he is a must-start in three-receiver leagues if healthy.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveValue4:06

Heath Cummings ranks Schultz as his TE2, noting that he is a strong start based on current projections and recent usage, specifically highlighting his high target volume in Week 2.

Insight page
PositiveUsage67:13

Schultz is considered a must-start option for the Texans, as he currently ranks second among all tight ends in targets and is coming off a productive performance.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeBust32:42

Despite concerns about tough matchups, Davante Adams remains a must-start. However, the analysts suggest they would consider sitting him if Puka Nacua were active, highlighting the reliance on volume and health.

Insight page
NegativeProjection77:14

Adams is a nervous start for the analysts, with his ranking fluctuating based on Puka Nacua's status. If Nacua is out, Adams is a top-12 play, but he faces a tough shadow matchup against Patrick Surtain II.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeValue30:51

David Montgomery is considered a start in half PPR formats over Josh Downs, though he is coming off a disappointing 24-yard performance in week two.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveValue42:32

Square ranks Deebo Samuel one spot ahead of Denzel Boston, noting that if Mike Evans is out, Samuel becomes an easy start.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveUsage30:45

Derrick Henry is highlighted as a productive back against the Colts' poor defense, having already recorded over 114 rushing yards against them this season.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveBust48:30

Jamie Eisenberg advises avoiding DK Metcalf if possible, citing the strength of the Bengals' improved defense and Metcalf's recent struggles, despite his strong underlying metrics (WR17 in target share, WR12 in air yard share).

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeProjection47:06

Heath Cummings ranks Drake Maye 14th among quarterbacks, suggesting managers should start Tyler Shuck, Bryce Young, Trevor Lawrence, Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, or Brock Purdy over him, though he is hesitant to recommend benching him for Geno Smith or Jameis Winston.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveSleeper24:12

Emmanuel Wilson is available in many leagues and is worth considering for potential volume.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper24:12

Emmanuel Wilson is available in many leagues and is worth adding as a speculative roster stash due to the potential for increased volume or a starting role.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

PositiveValue55:58

Square suggests Hunter Henry should be rostered in more leagues, projecting him for around 10 fantasy points due to his target share in the absence of A.J. Brown.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeInjury23:06

J.K. Dobbins was limited in practice.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveBreakout17:46

Heath Cummings is very high on Coker, ranking him as his WR13. He praises the Panthers' offensive scheme under Brad Idzik for generating downfield passing opportunities, making Coker a must-start.

Insight page
PositiveValue41:50

Square prefers Jalen Coker over Bryce Young and James Winston for Week 3, and explicitly recommends starting Coker over DJ Moore.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeBust41:56

Square advises against starting James Winston, noting that people are overvaluing his past performance and he is currently in a tier with players like Travis and Devon Achane.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeRole31:16

Jameson Williams is a recommended start in three-receiver leagues. While he saw nine targets at home recently, his fantasy output remains volatile due to Jared Goff's pressure-related struggles, making him a boom-or-bust WR3 option.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout73:56

The analysts are confident in a breakout game for Williams, noting that he is a top-30 wide receiver who has been unlucky with drops and should be started despite a couple of quiet games.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection73:17

Both Heath Cummings and Jamie Eisenberg are bullish on Goff, ranking him as a top-five quarterback for the week against a Lions defense that has struggled significantly against the pass.

Insight page

Jaxson Dart

NegativeInjury22:28

Jaxson Dart is out for the season.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveUsage16:21

Heath Cummings likes Warren as a top-24 running back, noting that his role in the passing game is essential because the Steelers have poor run-blocking. He expects Warren to catch multiple passes against a Bengals defense that allows many receptions to running backs.

Insight page
PositiveRole64:04

Heath Cummings views Warren as a high-end RB2 if Rico Dowdle is out, and a mid-to-low-end RB2 if Dowdle plays. He is considered a strong PPR flex option regardless, with the expectation that he will be utilized heavily in the passing game against the Bengals.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

NegativeProjection61:24

Square notes Joe Burrow is still a starter but not a top-five option, citing concerns over his back injury and the Steelers' pass rush.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

NegativeInjury23:08

Jonah Coleman missed practice with an ankle injury; his status for Thursday is worth monitoring.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeInjury23:20

Jonathan Brooks is on injured reserve.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue30:51

Dave Montgomery recommends starting Josh Downs in full PPR formats, and he is preferred over David Montgomery in half PPR leagues.

Insight page
PositiveRole69:53

Downs is viewed as a borderline WR2/WR3 and the primary receiver Daniel Jones will lean on. He is expected to be productive, especially given his performance after Alec Pierce went down, and is a preferred start over several other fringe options.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeBust49:06

Square and the panel view Justin Herbert as a sit for Week 3, citing poor performance, bad matchups, and the difficulty of a West Coast team traveling to Buffalo for a 1 p.m. game.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveUsage30:45

Kenneth Walker is noted for his success against the Colts' defense, having surpassed 114 rushing yards in his matchup against them.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

NegativeInjury25:33

Keon Coleman missed practice.

Insight page

Kyle Monangai

NegativeInjury23:11

Kyle Monongai was not seen at practice and is considered banged up ahead of their Monday game.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveUsage76:28

Despite being ranked lower than his preseason projection and having a low touch count relative to his fantasy rank, Williams remains an easy start due to his consistent touchdown production.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveInjury25:15

Ladd McConkey practiced in full, which is a positive development.

Insight page
PositiveRole46:52

Jamie Eisenberg confirms that as long as Ladd McConkey is healthy and practicing in full, he should be considered a must-start player.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeBust23:22

Heath Cummings advises sitting Burden against the Eagles, citing the combination of a backup quarterback (Case Keenum) and a difficult defensive matchup.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeInjury25:19

Malik Nabers was limited in practice.

Insight page

Malik Washington

PositiveSleeper83:48

With Caleb Douglas injured and Chris Bell potentially limited, Washington is identified as a deep sleeper who could provide double-digit fantasy points given his 26% target share.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeInjury25:12

Michael Pittman was limited in practice.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury25:28

Mike Evans missed practice, which was expected.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

PositiveMatchup11:22

Jamie Eisenberg recommends Freiermuth as a great starting option against the Bengals, citing his historical success against them (six touchdowns in his last 10 games) and the Steelers' high pass volume.

Insight page
PositiveUsage65:11

Jamie Eisenberg ranks Freiermuth 14th among tight ends, citing his strong history against the Bengals and the fact that he remains highly involved in the Steelers' offense, unlike Darnell Washington who has seen his usage decline.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeInjury25:03

Puka Nacua missed practice due to an injury that is not a hernia or a long-term issue, but the team is exercising caution.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

PositiveBust51:27

Square describes Quentin Johnston's start as horrible, noting he is one of two wide receivers with at least 10 targets and a catchable target rate below 70%.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeValue42:22

Square ranks Quinchon Judkins as a preferred start over Travion Henderson and Jeremiah Love, despite acknowledging the risk of being wrong.

Insight page
PositiveValue45:32

Heath Cummings identifies Judkins as his favorite flex option among Browns players for the matchup against Carolina, noting the Panthers' defense allows 6.3 yards per carry to running backs, making Judkins a viable start over Patriots running backs.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeValue33:21

Rashee Rice is viewed as a starter in three-receiver leagues but not in two-receiver formats. There is a significant discrepancy in his ranking, with Sportsline ranking him 4th while other analysts place him between 20th and 32nd.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveUsage9:56

Jamie Eisenberg highlights Bateman as a strong start, especially if Zay Flowers is out. Bateman has shown high efficiency, scoring at least 15 PPR points whenever he receives five targets, and is expected to see significant volume in a potential shootout.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeMatchup22:27

Heath Cummings advises sitting Stevenson against the Jaguars, noting that the Patriots' backfield usage is uncertain and the Jaguars' run defense is strong, making it difficult to trust him as a starter.

Insight page
NegativeUsage53:40

Square notes Rhamondre Stevenson has looked sluggish and lost snaps to Trevion, but expects him to retain passing-down work, giving him a slight edge.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeInjury23:19

Rico Dowdle is currently day-to-day.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

NegativeUsage54:24

Square highlights that Romeo Dobbs had a very low average route depth in Week 2, ranking 82nd among wide receivers, despite a high ADOT.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeInjury22:51

Sam Darnold was limited in practice but has a chance to play this week against Washington.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury24:57

There is currently no update regarding the injury status of Saquon Barkley.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeBust62:47

Square mentions that Tee Higgins did not look good in his last game, despite a big statistical output, and is currently being treated as a 'meh' fantasy asset.

Insight page
NegativeUsage62:47

Despite a productive outing with 5 catches for 95 yards on 10 targets, the analysts expressed concern that Higgins did not look good on film, noting he appeared wide open on plays over the middle but lacked his usual sharpness. While they remain committed to starting him, they are monitoring the situation closely.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

NegativeInjury25:52

Terrence Ferguson was limited in practice.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeBust28:53

Jamie Eisenberg expresses low confidence in McLaurin against the Seahawks, noting the offense's struggles, a beat-up offensive line, and the difficulty of the matchup against a strong Seattle defense.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeInjury22:56

Travis Etienne is dealing with a hamstring injury.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveUsage82:35

Kelce is considered a must-start, with recent data showing he is faster than he has been in years and currently leads all wide receivers and tight ends in yards after catch.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

NegativeBust57:36

Square advises lowering expectations for Trevor Lawrence, noting he is a low-end starter at best against a tough Patriots defense.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeRole27:08

There is concern that Tucker Kraft may be forced to block too much due to offensive line injuries, though the team has made reinforcements.

Insight page

Xavier Hutchinson

PositiveSleeper67:29

Hutchinson is highlighted as a potential sleeper start if Nico Collins is out. He has shown a strong target floor in games without Collins, and the analysts believe he has significant upside against a weak Colts defense.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury12:34

Heath Cummings expresses concern regarding Flowers' status due to his absence from practice, noting that if he misses practice on Thursday, his outlook for the week will be downgraded.

Insight page
NegativeInjury25:18

Zay Flowers missed practice.

2:14Get started today. This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
2:18What a play! Can you believe this? Can I know again?
2:21It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
2:27He's just going to go the distance. Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
2:32Packers and Falcons are going to kick things off tonight to get week three underway.
2:37Welcome to Fantasy Football Today. Ooh, a little rhyme for you to start the show.
2:42Good morning, Heath. How's Fantasy Football going for you through two weeks?
2:46I'm thankful for Dalton Schultz. Wasn't a great week one.
2:49I've got Dalton Schultz on about half my teams, though, so it was a much better week two.
2:55And, you know, I'm just—it'd be nice if Zay Flowers had come back.
2:59Yeah, not well for some people. Is that why you have Dalton Schultz ranked as your number two tight end?
3:06Are you trying to will it into existence? No, no.
3:09It's just where he comes out in the projections.
3:12And I think—listen, if you look at the—the only one that I would say that based on what's happened this year, you
3:19would say is definitely ahead of him is Dalton Kincaid.
3:22Isaiah likely is going to be playing with a backup quarterback that looked completely incompetent.
3:27Sam LaFord is— Not Trey McBride? Trey McBride's number one.
3:30Oh, you're saying— I said ahead of Schultz, who's at two.
3:34Oh, who's—okay. And if Brock Bowers gets a full practice in, then I'll put him up to a full—but I just—I remember Brock Bowers not at 100%.
3:43And so I'm being a little cautious with him.
3:46All right. So today we're going to talk about players we love, players we're avoiding.
3:50And the eight games we're previewing today, Carolina at Cleveland, Chargers at Bills.
3:55Can the Chargers get right? Something that's a little encouraging is that each of the two quarterbacks who have faced the Bills have thrown 38 passes.
4:03Justin Herbert has 27 pass attempts in both games so far, so hopefully we can get more pass attempts for Herbert.
4:10Patriots are at the Jaguars. Drake may another sit.
4:13Cincinnati's at Pittsburgh. I watched all of the routes for DK Metcalf against Cincinnati last year, and I'll tell you what I found.
4:20Houston at Indianapolis. Jets at Lions. Rams at Broncos.
4:23Kansas City at Miami. So it's AFC Home Games plus Jets at Lions.
4:27Good morning, Jamie. Good morning. All right. Let's get into players we love, brought to you by Stitch Fix.
4:33If you're like me and clothes shopping isn't your thing, well, Stitch Fix has you covered.
4:39Get styled today at stitchfix.com slash football. Three players we love.
4:42Jamie's got Chuba Hubbard at Cleveland, Rashad Bateman in Brazil against the Cowboys, and Pat Fryermuth against Cincinnati.
4:48And I love like, you know, it's not like just layups here.
4:52Some bowl calls. All right. Let's talk about Chuba Hubbard.
4:55Yeah, Chuba's probably a layup, you know, with Brooks being out.
4:59Although the Browns run defense has actually been better than I think people realize.
5:03They haven't given up a touchdown to a running back yet so far in two games.
5:08And hopefully Chuba will be the first one to do it.
5:12But it's basically, you know, the job is his.
5:15I don't think A.J. Dillon or if they end up signing Austin Eckler or anybody else they have on the roster is
5:22going to take him off the field for significant stretches.
5:25He's been playing so much already with Brooks Healthy.
5:28So you've got an 88 total yard game from Basial Tootin.
5:32You've got an 89 total yard game against Cleveland last week from Bucky Irving.
5:36And so I think that's kind of the floor for Chuba Hubbard around nine PPR points if things go bad.
5:43But he's just been so good in this offense.
5:46This offense is playing so well. For me, Chuba's a number one running back this week.
5:51And I continue to move him up, you know, closer to the top 10 right now.
5:56He's 11. For Bateman, look, it's going to depend on, you know, where he slots in on the Zay Flowers injury front.
6:03I'm nervous that Flowers is going to play this week.
6:06So Bateman, if Flowers is out, is a top 20 receiver for me.
6:11If Flowers is in, he's still a number three receiver that I would start with a lot of confidence.
6:17Again, it's a small sample size over the last two seed or since 2024.
6:21But basically, anytime he gets five targets, he scores at least 15 PPR points.
6:26And I think he'll get five targets. And what I'm hoping is going to be a shootout.
6:31So excited to see Rashad Bateman. If Flowers plays, just to see what we get until Jacoby Lane is back.
6:38But if Flowers is out, you saw what he's capable of doing last week.
6:42Just had a monster game against Saints. And then for Pat Fryermuth, you heard me say it on Tuesday with the Waver Wire Show.
6:50Just a great history here against the Bengals. In his last 10 games against them, six touchdowns, he averages over 14 PPR points per game.
6:58And some huge performances in that stretch. So we saw two versions of the Bengals against tight ends.
7:04One was decent against Kay Dotton. I think that's more about Kay Dotton.
7:08We saw last week Dalton Schultz get uber targeted.
7:11And he was amazing. I don't think we're getting either of those two.
7:15I think we're getting somewhere in between. But I think that Fryermuth this week is a great starting option.
7:22Somebody asked me yesterday, would you start Fryermuth over Colston Loveland?
7:25And yes, I would. We've got almost 80 pass attempts for the Steelers in two games.
7:30And looking at that Bengals defense, probably going to be tough to run on them.
7:35And hopefully the Bengals offense shows up as well.
7:38Heath, when we look at Rashad Bateman here, you've got him much lower at 47.
7:43Jamie at 25. Dave in the middle at 35.
7:46So let's talk about that real quick. Yeah, I think we had a little talk yesterday about whether we should be ranking Zay Flowers or not.
7:54Because he missed last week. He didn't show up at practice.
7:58And we always have this difficult battle between the coach talked optimistically.
8:02But he's not at practice. And it was Wednesday.
8:05So if he's not at practice on Thursday, I will move Bateman up.
8:09If Zay Flowers doesn't play, I will probably have Bateman right around wide receiver 30.
8:14But if Zay Flowers is fine and was just taking Wednesday off and is himself, then I think he's going to have
8:21a 30% target share like he has for all of last year.
8:25And even better in week one. And I think Derek Henry is probably going to run for 500 yards against the Cowboys.
8:32So I'm not sure there's room for a second wide receiver.
8:35500. All right. I've got a couple of Henry leagues.
8:39I'll start him, I guess. How about some players you love?
8:42You got Tyler Shuck against the Raiders. Jalen Warren against the Bengals.
8:46And Jalen Coker. Two Jalens spelled differently. Fun fact.
8:49Jalen Coker at Cleveland. And there's other ways to spell Jalen.
8:53But I couldn't find any that I wanted to start this week.
8:57Yeah. Tyler Shuck is currently QB 7 in my projections for the week.
9:01So I've got him ahead of Joe Burrow, ahead of Trevor Lawrence, ahead of Matthew Stafford, ahead of Drake May, ahead of Justin Herbert.
9:09A lot of guys that we drafted ahead of Tyler Shuck.
9:12It's just a pretty fantastic situation when you can't run the ball and you play fast.
9:17And so you're going to get 35 to 40 pass attempts per game.
9:21I think the only concern that I would have is that the Raiders don't score enough to put them in a hole early.
9:29But even then, I'm not sure that they have an effective enough running game to be able to do anything other than throw the ball a lot.
9:38All right. So that's Tyler Shuck and some big names that Heath would start Tyler Shuck over.
9:43Jalen Warren. So the Bengals run defense has been so good.
9:47What do you think about Warren, though, in this matchup?
9:50So another guy that is very iffy for this week is Rico Dowdle.
9:54And I will like Warren as a top 24 running back, whether Dowdle plays or not, because Warren's been better.
10:01But if Dowdle's out, then I think Warren is right there in that Chuba Hubbard conversation.
10:06And yeah, it's a hard defense to run against.
10:09So are the Browns. But we know what Warren's involvement is in the passing game.
10:14The Bengals have already seen 15 running back receptions against them.
10:17That's the most in the NFL through two weeks.
10:20This team, you want to talk about a team that can't run the ball.
10:25It's the Steelers. They have one of the worst run blocking grades so far through two weeks.
10:30So the passes to Jalen Warren are becoming the Steelers run game.
10:34He might catch six passes in this game. And they were bad against pass catching running backs last year.
10:40Cincinnati, they gave up like the fourth most receiving yards per game to running backs in 2025.
10:46And the last player on your love list is Jalen Coker at Cleveland.
10:50And I think most people are planning on starting him, especially in a three wide receiver league.
10:55But just to highlight how much I love him, he's currently wide receiver 13.
11:00Ted Rowe McMillan is wide receiver 12. I love everything about what Brad Idzik, did I say that right, is doing with this Carolina Panthers offense.
11:08Lots of passes, lots of downfield passes. And both McMillan and Coker are must starts.
11:13Just watch the ankle because he's still battling an ankle injury, but he was battling last week at practice.
11:19Didn't seem to slow him down too much. And yet you are the low guy on Bryce Young, which is weird.
11:26Not super low, but you have him 12th, whereas Dave and Jamie have him 9th right now.
11:32So any thoughts on that? No. 9 through 12 is pretty much just like throw him in a bag, shake it up, spill him out.
11:40Fair enough. All right, to recap, Jamie loves Chuba Hubbard and Heath loves Jalen Coker.
11:45And Bryce Young is a top 12 quarterback. So I guess this is a test.
11:50This is a little bit of a test that Cleveland for Carolina.
11:53Let's see how it goes. Listen, he drops back.
11:56He throws deep downfield. You need good pass protection for that.
12:00We want to see. I want to see what happens if the pass protection breaks down.
12:05So far, it's been pretty good. Jamie also loves Rashad Bateman and Pat Friermuth.
12:10Heath has Tyler Shuck and Jalen Warren. And thank you to Stitch Fix for sponsoring today's Players We Love.

12:46youtube.com slash fantasyfootball today, Sunday morning, 11 to 1 Eastern.
12:49Start and sit. Start and sit. I mean, we had so many questions, so many viewers last week.
12:55It was awesome. Let's keep breaking records. Players to avoid.
12:58He's got Baker Mayfield against the Vikings. Ramondre Stevenson at Jacksonville and Luther Burden against Philadelphia.
13:03Talk about Baker, and then I'll tee up for the next two.
13:07Okay. Yeah. I think this whole operation in Tampa Bay looks like they didn't quite figure out the offense and what they want to do in training camp.
13:16Baker's holding on to the ball. Guys aren't getting open.
13:19The line's not been playing well. Here comes Brian Flores.
13:23Stay very far away. Because you need to add a different quarterback, that's fine.
13:27Ramondre Stevenson at Jacksonville, that's a sit for you.
13:30Does that extend to Travion Henderson? And then Luther Burden against the Eagles, that's a sit for you.
13:36Does that extend to everyone else in the passing game, basically, for the Bears?
13:40Yes, and yes. It's a good Jacksonville run defense.
13:43Maybe at times a great Jacksonville run defense. I don't think we can be confident about who is going to have the
13:50most rush attempts for the Patriots this week. Stevenson will do the work in the passing game, but I'm not sure that
13:58rolls enough to make him a starter. I wouldn't want to start Henderson either.
14:02Listen, I think there's a chance without Caleb Williams that we actually see the Luther Burden and Colston Loveland target volume that we would like to see.
14:11Unfortunately, it's Case Keenum, and unfortunately, it's the Eagles defense.
14:14So we're not going to take that chance here.
14:17But I do expect the offense to play more on schedule and the guys that we liked in this game to maybe get the opportunities.
14:25It's just a terrible matchup and a terrible quarterback.
14:28Yeah, I mean, he hasn't always been a terrible quarterback.
14:31We'll talk about this game tomorrow. There's some times where Case Keenum does okay, but he's not Cooper Rush.
14:37Sorry, Cooper Rush. I keep picking on Cooper Rush.
14:40Well, no, it's not, except what is he now?
14:43It's 50, some 53. I think there's a chance it is Cooper Rush at this point in his career.
14:49Yeah, Cooper Rush once upon a time was a bad too.
14:53Jamie, you know, Heath talked about that Jacksonville run defense, but I don't know if there's a better run defense than the Patriots run defense.
15:01And you've got Bejal Tootin as a player to avoid, Terry McLaurin against Seattle, Colston Loveland against the Eagles.
15:07Yeah, Loveland's just kind of an extension of what Heath was talking about.
15:11Clearly, the start of the year has not been great as well.
15:15So you heard me say I would start Pat Frymouth over Loveland.
15:19I saw Loveland dropped in one of my 10-team half PPR leagues last night.
15:24I was a little surprised by that. Pick him up!
15:27I have Bowers, so I probably won't. But, you know, it's shallow benches.
15:31That's why somebody dropped him. So it's just one of those things where, you know, if you're stuck and you can't carry
15:38multiple tight ends, you know, due to injuries because a lot of fantasy managers are dealing with that, you're going to see
15:45a level on some waiver wires, which is unfortunate.
15:48But I'm hoping, kind of like what you said, like, I'd like to see just Case Keenum target these guys and then let's see what they do.
15:57It's not so much about just Caleb missing. It's just the fact that these guys have not been great so far through
16:04two weeks, and now you're throwing a backup quarterback, as Heath said, against the Eagles.
16:09For Basial Tootin, look, he's been good so far.
16:12He's been a little frustrating so far as well.
16:15If you don't get the direct snap touchdown last week, which we saw the next time they were down there, it was Chris Rodriguez against Denver.
16:23Like, we're looking at two kind of mediocre games for a guy that's not heavily involved in the passing game, so we know what that means.
16:32That's typically a trap back. You're talking about, you said it, the Patriots run defense.
16:37With Milton Williams on the field, they've allowed only two rushing touchdowns to running backs in their last 14 games.
16:43His last 14 games, excuse me, not their last 14 games.
16:47His last 14 games. So that's not great for a guy that if he does not score and is not heavily involved
16:54in the passing game, you know, I reference this a lot.
16:57You know, Pete Prisco is tied into the Jaguars as possible.
17:01He posted something on X yesterday. Like, they need to get him more touches.
17:05I think we all agree. It would be fun to see if he had more work.
17:11This is just not the game, I think, to trust him.
17:14Now, a lot of fantasy managers are going to be stuck because of injuries to start him.
17:20I think it's just you're looking at it. You see we're all kind of in the same ranking range of low-end, number-two running back, or high-end flex.
17:28So not a complete must-sit, but just somebody I'd be a little bit concerned about.
17:33And then in the case of Terry McLaurin, he actually has a pretty good history with Marcus Mariota, at least last year.
17:40I think in the five games they played together, three of them, he scored at least 14.
17:46And a half PPR points or more. So not terrible.
17:49But you are still talking about Mariota against the Seattle defense.
17:53The Seahawks defense has been just great. I think they're going to make things real uncomfortable.
17:58I'm shocked when he – I don't know if that's a correct ranking by Sportsline, but 60 is telling.
18:04Stefan Diggs has obviously been better. You like that he had nine targets last week.
18:09That was against Dallas. We saw what it was in week one.
18:13It wasn't pretty for McLaurin. So just off to a slow start.
18:17Wouldn't surprise me if he has a decent day, but just barely a starter in three receiver leagues for me.
18:23Or just a starter in three – What about Diggs?
18:26Diggs I have one spot higher. So it's kind of just – I think when you look at the Bears, the commanders,
18:34it's a little bit different with the Giants because you know the history of Jameis and Williams with at least his past – Jameis Winston.
18:42Why do I keep saying Jameis? Yeah, no, I do it too.
18:46Jameis Winston and what he typically does for receivers.
18:48So I'm a little bit more hopeful for Malik Neighbors and Isaiah Likely mostly.
18:53And a lot of it has to do with their playing the Titans this week.
18:58But it's kind of just a little bit of a wait and see because it's Mariota and a new offense.
19:04And that offensive line is beat up once again, even worse than it was coming into the season.
19:10So I just don't have a lot of confidence in McLaurin and Diggs right now.
19:15I mean, come on. Jacoby Reset just threw for 95 yards against Seattle.
19:19Yeah, that's a good point. I mean, they're just so good.
19:23So yeah, McLaurin hasn't done enough. Totally with you there.
19:26All right. And yeah, for Tootin, man, he's only got 28 of the 47 running back carries.
19:32That needs to change. But it's a really tough matchup.
19:35All right. We'll get you news and notes in a minute here.
19:39But Sunday, it's an NFL on CBS doubleheader. First, Joe Burrow and the unbeaten Bengals take on Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers.
19:46And then for the first time ever, the NFL is in Rio as Lamar Jackson and the Ravens square off with Dak Prescott and the Cowboys.
19:54Live from Maracana Stadium in Brazil. The action kicks off at noon Eastern with the NFL today.
20:00See you Sunday with the NFL on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
20:04Plus, man, I forgot how wild that Bengals-Steelers game was last year.
20:08Pat Fryermuth having a massive game and it was like super late touchdowns.
20:12It was a wild game. I think it was a Thursday nighter.
20:16It was one of the games of the year, actually.
20:19Okay. Quick break. News and notes. One question for each game.

21:17You need strategy, preparation, determination, and of course, a little bit of grit when things don't go according to plan.
21:23It's the same way in football. A quarterback has to throw and run.
21:27A running back has to run and read the routes.
21:30It takes so much more than one skill to succeed.

22:32Tyson Bajan has a concussion case Keenum could start.
22:35That's a Monday night game. And listening to Scott Turner talk with Dave yesterday, he said, usually when people exhibit the concussion
22:42symptoms after the game, it's harder for them to clear the concussion protocol in time to play that week, which is what happened with Tyson Bajan.
22:51And Sam Darnold practiced. He was limited. He's got a chance to play this week at Washington.
22:56Travis A. Chan has a hamstring injury. That is Travis A.
23:00Chan. I do think someone suggested calling him Travis E.
23:03And that is not a bad idea. The Broncos.
23:06We got Dobbins and Harvey Limited. And we have Jonah Coleman missing practice with an ankle injury.
23:11Let's see if he practices on Thursday. Kyle Monongai was not seen at practice.
23:16They didn't release a report they play on Monday.
23:19But Monongai, a little banged up. Rico Dowdle day-to-day.
23:22Jonathan Brooks on IR. Are both Titans running backs missed practice?
23:25Heath, is there a player to get in the Titans backfield at the Giants?
23:30I wouldn't react too much to Wednesday. I guess it'd be Singleton.
23:34Yeah. It just said they're both sore. You know, so that was really one that didn't concern me.
23:39It's a lot of other backfields that concern me.
23:42Yeah. Are we worried about Aaron Jones? He's got this injury.
23:46Yes. Yeah. I mean, the Vikings are worried about Aaron Jones.
23:49Yeah. I had all these bids in to drop to Mon Clayborne.
23:53And then I canceled, canceled, canceled, canceled. And I don't know it'd be him.
23:58It could be DJ Dallas too. I picked up DJ Dallas in like 20 of my 28 leagues.
24:04It's, you know, it was free. And, you know, if you have a roster spot to play with, I would recommend doing something along those lines.
24:12Emmanuel Wilson's also out there in a bunch of leagues too.
24:16It sounds like price is going to be fine.
24:19But look, there's anytime you're going to get somebody that has the chance for starting job or volume, why would you not take a chance?
24:27It could be Jerome Ford probably. I mean, he's on their practice squad and he's got, you know, the most experience of this group.
24:35So they're going to elevate somebody, it sounds like.
24:37But it does not seem good for Aaron Jones.
24:40Actually, I sent in, you know, for anybody that, you know, pays attention to our site, which we appreciate.
24:47So we split up, start, sit into positions. And then the whole column comes out later in the day.
24:53And I had to retract Aaron Jones because I had him as a starter.
24:57Okay. And still no update on Saquon Barkley. Jadarian Price was limited though, which is a good sign.
25:03At wide receiver, Puka Nakua mispracticed. They're being cautious of him.
25:07They said it's not a hernia. It's not a long-term thing, but he did not practice.
25:12They faced Denver on Sunday night. Michael Pittman was limited.
25:15Ladd McConkie practiced in full, which we love to see.
25:18Zay Flowers mispracticed. Malik Neighbors was limited. Caleb Douglas mispracticed.
25:22And Chris Bell has a knee injury too. He only has one or two targets this year, I think.
25:28Mike Evans mispracticed, which was no surprise. DJ Moore was limited and said he felt good.
25:33Keon Coleman mispracticed. And Alec Pierce is actually not on IR yet if you're waiting as I speak right now.
25:39He is going to be put on IR. But if you're trying to put Alec Pierce in an IR spot, you have to wait a little longer.
25:48Tight end news. Brock Bowers expected to play. Chigo Conquo mispracticed again.
25:52Terrence Ferguson was limited. Colby Parkinson mispracticed. Offensive line, Andrew Thomas doesn't have a serious injury, thankfully.
25:57I think he was limited yesterday for the Giants.
26:00The Lions should be getting two starters back. I think that's a huge storyline for them against the Jets.
26:07Washington guard Sam Cosme is in the concussion protocol.
26:09Chargers left tackle Rashawn Slater was limited. That we can't have him miss time.
26:14The Packers are going to be without two starting offensive linemen tonight.
26:18We previewed that game yesterday. We're hoping that they come through, but that's not good.
26:23And Baltimore left tackle Ronnie Stanley has been kind of in and out of the games.
26:28He missed practice yesterday. I'm a little bit concerned tonight that Tucker Craft has to block too much.
26:34There was actually a story that came out that they considered playing him on the offensive line.
26:39Their offensive line was bad when it was healthy, and it's not even kind of healthy.
26:44And so, just a little bit concerned. I think, though, just to that point, the story was because their three backups were forced to play.
26:53So, that's why they were getting concerned about maybe having to use crap.
26:57They have clearly made reinforcements for tonight. So, they should be okay in that regard, unless just disaster happens.
27:03Yeah, and even with all that, the Jets really...
27:06I don't think the Jets blitz a lot, so that's one thing.
27:10But they really didn't get a lot of pressure against the Packers.
27:14So, that's good for the Lions, if the Jets can't get pressure.
27:17So, that's in our preview slate today. Let's do it.
27:21One question for each game. Carolina at Cleveland. Heath, who is the best flex of all the Cleveland Browns options?
27:27So, I think it's the Browns, but they actually have some kind of appealing flex options.
27:32And my favorite is Quinchon Judkins. I think we'll find out more about whether this Panthers defense is a really bad defense,
27:40an average defense, a kind of bad defense. But I'm optimistic that Judkins...
27:44I think the Panthers are currently giving up the most yards per carry.
27:48And Quinchon Judkins may have the fewest yards per carry.
27:51So, it's the immovable object against the whatever. But I think Judkins is a decent flex.
27:566.3 yards per carry allowed by the Panthers to running backs.
28:00That would be DeAndre... So misleading, though. DeAndre Swift, Menongai, and Bijan, and Brian Robinson all have done well on double-digit carries.
28:07All right. We'll see. Would you start Quinchon Judkins or a Patriots running back?
28:12Judkins for me. Judkins. Okay. How about, Jamie, Chargers at Bills go right back to Lad McConkie?
28:17Absolutely. Yeah. As long as he's healthy, he should be a must-star guy.
28:21Any practice in full. Oh, that's good stuff. Heath, Patriots are at the Jaguars.
28:26Who would you start over Drake May? Where do you have Drake?
28:30Well, I guess you have him 14th. And who would you start over him?
28:34So, I would start... The two guys you didn't draft as starters are Tyler Shuck and Bryce Young.
28:40Okay. I don't love Lawrence, but I'd start Lawrence and Burrow and Mahomes and Purdy, obviously.
28:45But I think Purdy is one you have to say because a lot of people drafted May as their starter and may have had Purdy as their backup.
28:54He wasn't always drafted as a starter. How about Geno Smith and Jameis Winston and anyone like that over Drake May?
29:01No. Okay. I'm very close. I mean, Geno's matchup is so good.
29:05Yeah. And he's had a better fantasy start to the season than Drake May.
29:10Jamie, Cincinnati's at Pittsburgh. Starter sit DK Metcalf. Starter in three receiver leagues, but barely.
29:14You know, the targets have been great. 19 targets in two games.
29:18I just think this Bengals defense is much better than people gave it credit for coming into the season.
29:25They made a lot of great additions. And DK just looks like he's struggling right now.
29:30So, I would prefer to avoid him if you can.
29:33He was shadowed... He was shadowed in both games by DJ Turner last year.
29:37And he struggled in both games. Yeah. He... 9.9 PPR points or less in both games.
29:43Yeah. My personal opinion is that he actually was kind of a handful for Turner.
29:48Sometimes you get open. Quarterbacks don't see you. That happens.
29:51But... Guys, I think teams aren't really going to throw at Turner that much.
29:55Not to say that he's like Christian Gonzalez. Like Christian Gonzalez smothered Metcalf last week.
30:00But Roger still threw him a few times. He did.
30:03And he dropped one. I think... I think Metcalf is like one of those guys that it just kind of depends on...
30:11How long of a leash do you want to give him?
30:14Because the underlying metrics is wide receiver 17 in target share and wide receiver 12 in air yard share.
30:20And it's a team that's throwing the ball 40 times a game.
30:24Like if... I know. If he hadn't been so awful, we wouldn't even be having a discussion.
30:30But he's been awful. And so... Yeah. I don't know.
30:33And yeah. Like... It was predictable that he would struggle against Gonzalez.
30:37We'll see what he does against Turner. But the Colts...
30:40The Colts are so bad defensively. Right? I mean, they faced the Ravens and the Chiefs.
30:45They've been so bad defensively. They allowed 114 or more rushing yards to both Derrick Henry and Kenneth Walker.
30:51All right. Dave Montgomery is Josh Downs. He says Downs in full PPR.
30:56What about half PPR? It would probably be Montgomery.
30:58Jamie made that comment. It's so misleading on the Panthers.
31:02And I was wondering, like, what's more misleading? Saying a team has been so bad against the run against Bijan and Swift
31:09and Mononghi or against Ken Walker and Derrick Henry?
31:12Those teams have just had a terrible, terrible run to start the season.
31:16Yeah. Jets are at the Lions. Starter's at Jamison Williams, Jamie.
31:20Starter and three receiver leagues. You know, you got to be hopeful with the last time they were at home, nine targets.
31:27Hopefully that's the case again. I don't think Dan Campbell wants to stick it to Aaron Glenn, but it wouldn't be surprising
31:34if, you know, he just wants to get the offense.
31:37Continue to keep the offense going because his defense is bad.
31:41So I wouldn't be surprised if it's a shootout.
31:44I do think the Lions offense is... Our defense is as bad as we thought it was going to be.
31:50And so you just got to hope that he connects with Goff because you illustrated this going into week two.
31:56There have been chances for him to make plays.
31:59Goff has not thrown it to him. Goff has not hit him because he's been under pressure.
32:05As you just said, not a lot of pressure coming from the Jets.
32:09So I think he said this earlier in the week when you brought it up.
32:14Like, he's just the perfect number three wide receiver, like we said, going into the season.
32:19There are going to be weeks where he just blows up.
32:23This could easily be one of them. There's going to be weeks, like we saw the first two weeks, where he just does not deliver.
32:31Hopefully we just don't get, you know, another one of those duds because then we're going to get a lot of frustration from him.
32:39Jamison Williams or Josh Downs? Downs. I've got Williams, I think.
32:42Rams at Broncos. Is Devontae Adams actually a sit this week?
32:46No. No chance. Are you certain about that? Yeah.
32:49Even with that potential, you can't. Like, just think about the injuries we're dealing with.
32:53Like, how are you sitting Devontae Adams? No, I know, I know.
32:57You know, I can make this parallel of David Montgomery had three touchdowns in week one against the Bills.
33:04And then he was started in more than 90% of leagues.
33:07And I had a bad feeling about him in week two.
33:11And he had 24 total yards. He was a total dud.
33:14You know, matchups matter. Devontae Adams wasn't great in tough matchups last year.
33:18Would you consider sitting him if Puka Nakua played?
33:21Yes. Yes. Okay. Kansas City's at Miami. Starter sit, Rasheed Rice.
33:25Jamie's said this like six times already on the show.
33:28He's a starter in three wide receiver leagues and not in two.
33:32But it looks like I'm the low guy on Rice this week.
33:36He said this about Rice or about just people?
33:39No, about different wide receivers on the show already.
33:42Like Jameson Williams. And like, I think he's... Wow.
33:45Sportsline loves him. Fourth. But that's the thing is like usually when I'm a ways away from Dave and Jamie, Sportsline's with me.
33:52So that's interesting. Okay. 20th for Jamie. 25th for Heath.
33:5532nd for... Or 25th for Dave. 32nd for Heath.
33:58Fourth for Sportsline on Rasheed Rice. I thought he looked better last week.
34:03And hopefully that's a sign of things to come.
34:05This just feels like a game. And you know, you say it's a trap game.
34:10Chiefs are coming off two amazing games. And by trap game, I mean like they win like a stupid game that they should...
34:18You know, the 10 and a half point favorites.
34:21You know, that they don't destroy them like we all are expecting them to do.
34:26But if there is a get right spot, this is a get right spot for Rice.
34:31I know the Dolphins numbers are good against opposing wide receivers.
34:34It's because nobody has challenged them yet. And the Chiefs may not.
34:38You know, so it's just one of those games.
34:41Like this could easily be Ken Walker, Emma Johnson.
34:44Defense does its job and you go home and don't worry about it.
34:48Um, I just don't think the Dolphins have anything that can stop Kansas City.
34:53So if this is get Rice going, this is an easy week to get Rice going.
34:58And we'll get into the games now a little bit more in depth.
35:02And we'll start with Carolina at Cleveland. And I didn't give this stat, but Chuba Hubbard had 15 or more touches in six games last season.
35:11And he scored 17.9 or more PPR fantasy points in four of those six games because he scores a lot of touchdowns
35:18when he gets a lot of touches. And you go back to 2024 when he got a lot of touches.
35:24He was he was great. He was top 12.
35:27So that's why Jamie loves. That's one of the reasons why Jamie loves Chuba Hubbard.
35:32As far as Bryce Young goes, Jamie ninth, Dave ninth, Heath twelfth.
35:36We like him again. I want to see what happens if he faces a team with a pass rush.
35:42So far, it's been the Falcons who actually, I guess, have a somewhat of a pass rush according to the numbers and the bears.
35:50Um, all right, I'll come back to it. We'll come back to Bryce.
35:54I'm sure we have some Bryce Young questions. He's now 90% rostered.
35:58I'll wait for them in the chat. I won't Chuba Hubbard, you know, 18th for Heath 11th for Jamie.
36:04You still like him, Heath, but I guess do you have any concerns?
36:08No, I guess if if we're talking about him as an RB one, my concern would be that Jonathan Brooks really hasn't
36:15done anything yet, even when he was healthy and he wasn't playing that much and he wasn't getting that many touches.
36:22And Chuba was still not getting 15 touches per game.
36:25Um, so I, I, I think you're starting him undoubtedly.
36:29Yeah. Gotcha. They've been just a very pass heavy team.
36:32It's, uh, it's, I love it, but it hasn't been great in terms of touches for Chuba Hubbard.
36:38He does have three touchdowns in two games though.
36:41Um, to Chuba Hubbard or Devon H and Hubbard H and Devon, Carolina wide receivers are both.
36:46Must start guys. Um, with Jalen Coker being 19th for Jamie 22nd for Dave and 13th for Heath.
36:52Yeah. So we're going to start them. Cleveland's defense was good last week.
36:56It was bad in week one, really bad against the Jaguars.
37:00It was good against the Buccaneers. We'll see. This is really, this is a really interesting matchup just to see what these two sides are.
37:08It's so interesting. It is right. Yeah. Yeah. I just didn't think cause I watched, I talked about Baker quite a bit
37:15earlier in, and last week and I didn't really see it as like Cleveland was making Tampa look bad.
37:21They just were bad. So maybe, maybe that'll prove wrong, but I, that didn't change my opinion on the Browns defense too much.
37:29I think they're probably pretty close to average. They're going to be awful against really good offenses and fine against really bad offenses.
37:36Yeah. No, I think that's a good point. Um, any interest in Darren Waller?
37:41Not really. He's not a bad stash candidate. If you have an open roster spot, I mean, he should have three touchdowns through two games.
37:49That's hard to overlook, especially if we're talking half or non PPR.
37:53So if at any point, and you know, we kept waiting for this last year with the dolphins, then he got hurt again.
38:00If at any point they start to increase his workload, then maybe we get more production, but that just doesn't seem to
38:07be the case, nor do they have to do that.
38:10All right. So Heath, you, first of all, you have the Sean Watson 15th, which might be a little surprising.
38:17I was just, uh, you know, I'm, I'm getting on the Adam Azer fan club.
38:22Um, I know he's been one of your favorite, favorite players in the NFL for the last decade.
38:28Oh, and, um, he's averaging, uh, averaging 30 rush yards per game.
38:31I don't think this Carolina defense is one that you need to stay away from.
38:36I'm encouraged by what the rookie wide receivers look like.
38:40And I think Carolina is going to put up a, this is one where I'm, the projections are probably disagreeing with Vegas
38:47just a little bit because I, I think that 42 and a half over under is way too low.
38:53Hmm. Okay. Uh, Carolina's defense was solid last year.
38:56They were middle of the pack. They were, they've, they arguably have faced the best offense in football and week one in
39:03the bears and the worst offense in football. No, I'm not stopping it at all.
39:08I could say the, yes, the bear. Yeah. I'm sorry that the bears struggled in rain and wind against the Minnesota Vikings in week two.
39:16They, they scored 59 points in week one. They might have the best offense in football.
39:21I don't know how we could even dispute that.
39:24They might have the best offense in football. Okay.
39:27All right. Uh, he, uh, he, he is the high guy on Watson.
39:31Jamie and Dave have him like 22nd. Judkins is a number two running back.
39:36He's right around 24th for everyone, but you did hear the case made by Heath.
39:40And we talked about it earlier this week. He's pretty involved in the passing game, which is really encouraging.
39:47Uh, he had five catches last week and in terms of Denzel Boston, I can't imagine people are starting conception, but Jamie,
39:54what would you say about Denzel Boston this week?
39:57I had number three receiver, you know, like, you know, you guys just said Watson's playing much better than we anticipated.
40:03And Boston's a big reason why, you know, so you can nitpick and say garbage time touchdown week one against Jacksonville, bounce
40:11off defenders and week two against Tampa Bay. He's making plays.
40:14And, you know, that's what we love to see from rookie wide receivers early in the season.
40:20Cause we know they just continue to progress as the year goes on.
40:24So hopefully the Panthers often shows up. Hopefully the Browns are chasing points.
40:28Hopefully Boston continues to see right around six targets per game.
40:32And there's always that chance for, you know, a huge blow up type of production.
40:36So I don't think you should say must start yet.
40:40Certainly must roster at this point. And hopefully we just continue to get, you know, production from him.
40:46Uh, cause we need it at the receiver spot.
40:48Jamison Williams or Denzel Boston? Still Jamo. Um, let's see.
40:52Bejal Tootin, Quinchon Judkins, that group of running backs that are right.
40:56Or Denzel Boston? The running backs. I still got the running backs.
40:59All right. Harold Fannin Jr. Starter said he wasn't bad last week.
41:0310.4 fantasy points. Almost it. Uh, for what it's worth, this is the team that has shut down Colston Loveland and Kyle Pitts.
41:11Well, yeah, that's true. Um, but Cole Komet caught a touchdown.
41:14Hey, that's true. Yeah. Um, yeah. All right. Let's read.
41:18Let's see what the chat is saying here. You guys would start Dalton Schultz and Juwan Johnson, those waiver wire guys over Fannin.
41:25Coker or Higgins? Coker. No, Higgins. Waller or Gadsden?
41:28Gadsden. This is one. I had Gadsden really high earlier in the week and then all of a sudden Charlie Kohler is not going on IR.
41:36And so I don't, um, I think Charlie Kohler is out, but not going on IR.
41:42So he's having surgery. It's going to be Gadsden.
41:45Okay. He's hoping to beat the four week timeline.
41:47Okay. Gadsden. Gadsden. Coker or Josh Downs? Uh, yes.
41:50Um, I like both this week. I go Coker.
41:53Coker. Bryce Young or James or James Winston. Bryce.
41:56Bryce Young. I don't. It sounds like people are like just forgetting the last game for JMO and or James and James
42:03Winston and just think he's going to be what he was a few years or I guess last year, but I don't
42:10want to start James James Winston at all. James Winston and James and Williams are almost Travis and Devon HN at this point.
42:18Younger Kyler Murray. Yeah. Younger Stroud. Yeah. Young. Corum or Judkins PPR.
42:22Judkins. Judkins. Here's a tough one. Younger Shuck. Shuck.
42:25Shuck. Judkins or Travion Henderson. Judkins, but we could look stupid for that one.
42:29Judkins. You already look stupid. Debo or Denzel Boston.
42:32FBPR. Uh, I think I moved Debo one spot ahead of Boston, but that's close.
42:37Especially if, uh, if Evans is out, it's easy Debo.
42:40So that's, that's the, the distinguishing thing for me.
42:43And pick two here. Quinch on Judkins, Basil Tootin or Jeremiah Love.
42:47Uh, Judkins and Tootin. Sit Love. Sit that, whatever you just did.
42:51Go back. I mean, if you're going to sing it, why don't you just play it?
42:56Because I don't know. Matthew Golden or Denzel Boston.
42:59Because you want to sing. Yeah. Hey guys. Um, I got my guitar.
43:03Uh, Golden. Golden. All right. That's it for this game.
43:06And Carolina's DST is, uh, not in the top 12.
43:10So we're not buying into it this week. Chargers at Bills.
43:13But we're going to take a break. And then we'll see if the Chargers offense can show up.
43:19We know the Bills offense will. We'll be right back on Fantasy Football today.
43:24I have a good friend who's almost done with his GLP One journey.
43:28And one major lesson he learned is that when you're in a calorie deficit, nutrients per calorie matter more than anything.
43:35Why struggle with digestion or feeling sluggish when you can make life simple?
43:39That's where Gruen's comes in. Gruen's delivers a convenient, comprehensive formula in one delicious daily pack of gummy bears.
43:45And this isn't a multivitamin, a greens gummy, or a prebiotic.
43:49It's all of those things and then some at a fraction of the price.
43:53And bonus, my friend says they taste great. And since taking them, I can see that his energy is up.
44:00He says his gut health feels on track thanks to 6 grams of prebiotic fiber.
44:04And the ingredients are amazing for supporting beauty, immunity, and hair strength.
44:08So if weight loss is the goal, it's all about nutrients per calorie.
44:13And Gruen's has everything needed to help. Save up to 52% off with code FFT at Gruen's.co.
44:18That's code FFT at G-R-U-N-S dot co. Football season is here and my routine has completely fallen apart.
44:24But my busy schedule isn't waiting for me to catch up.
44:27I was desperate to start eating real food again without spending hours in the kitchen.

45:15That's code FFT50 off at factormeals.com. FFT50 off at factormeals.com.
45:18See website for more details. Chargers at Bills. Oh, this should have been such a battle of 2-0 teams that were just firing on all cylinders.
45:26We had another tight end have more than six targets against the Bills.
45:31That has happened twice so far with Dalton Schultz and Sam Laporta.
45:35It did not happen once in 2025. So that's interesting.
45:38But Gadsden, you know, Gadsden, five or more targets in nine games last year, Heath, and he scored double-digit PPR fantasy points in six of them.
45:46So I think you want to make the case for Gadsden.
45:50Yeah, I don't know where the rank is going to show on the screen that my ranking is because I've moved Gadsden all over the place this week.
45:59But I think he is definitely in the streaming conversation.
46:02This team has thrown more than 20% of their passes to their tight ends.
46:07And while they didn't really like him, it seems like at camp, they don't have anybody left to play over him.
46:13So he should be on the field quite a bit on passing downs at least.
46:18And they're certainly not going to have him blocking.
46:21So I think I'd rather start him over Harold Fannin.
46:24Okay. And yeah, over Harold Fannin. Over Colson Loveland?
46:27Yes. Okay. All right. And then, Jamie, I wanted to bring this up.
46:32DJ Moore ran 81% of the routes in week one, but he only had a 50% route participation rate last week in the first quarter.
46:40He got hurt in the second quarter. I was watching and I was so frustrated by it.
46:45He does not play in 13 personnel. That's Keon Coleman, who is injured, by the way.
46:50And coming into this game with an injury, it looks like he's trending in the right direction.
46:56Do you think DJ Moore is a must start this week?
46:59He's a definite starter in three receiver leagues. I think you got to start him in two receiver leagues if he's healthy, just based on the upside.
47:08I don't really worry about what happened in the first quarter before a guy got hurt because you never know how the
47:15script is going to go and what they're trying to do in the start of the game and then how things change.
47:22They're not keeping DJ Moore off the field. That would just be dumb.
47:27So I think Heath brought this up or Dave brought this up.
47:31He went into week two a little bit banged up also.
47:34So that could have had something to do with it for what happened after week one.
47:39So as long as DJ Moore plays, he practiced yesterday in a non-contact jersey.
47:44So like you said, trending in the right direction, I'm starting DJ Moore.
47:48If you had this decision to make, would you start Jalen Coker or DJ Moore?
47:53Coker. I would start Coker. Do we take this Chargers defense seriously?
47:57Obviously, it hasn't really been that good, but it was pretty elite by the end of last year.
48:03I mean, we just think the Bills are going to light them up.
48:07Light them up. I mean, the Bills lit up the Texans with, I don't want to say minimal trouble, but they lit up the Texans.
48:15Yeah, they killed them. They beat up the Lions, but I think a lot of teams are going to beat up the Lions.
48:22I don't think the Chargers are playing very well right now.
48:26And the biggest difference, at least from what you can attribute it to, is maybe coordinator change.
48:31So it's just, yeah. The four main Bills that you drafted as starters are probably going to, or if you want to
48:39throw Kinkade in there, but I would. The four main Bills should be started.
48:43So Alan, Cook, Moore, and Kinkade. And I think if Moore is out, then you can take shots on either Coleman or Shakir.
48:51Right. Right. And again, Coleman mispracticed yesterday. Every time that guy has something that's positive, just something bad happens.
48:57I feel so terrible for him. Like if Moore was out, he looked really good.
49:02He did. Yeah, he had a good game. He played a ton when Moore left.
49:06Starters at Justin Herbert, Heath. So I've got him as a sit.
49:10I think we all have him as a sit.
49:13I'm the lowest on him. I think he's currently at 17 or 18.
49:17I, if you are basing your rankings and projections on what has happened so far and what Vegas expects to happen in
49:25this game, it's hard to be excited about starting Justin Herbert.
49:28I do think narrative wise, the Bills have given up huge numbers to two quarterbacks.
49:33The Chargers are 0-2 back against the wall. This should be a really good Justin Herbert game.
49:39I don't like the West Coast team traveling to Buffalo for a 1 p.m.
49:43game. I'm staying away. Jamie, you have him seven spots higher because Heath has Herbert 20th.
49:48You have him 13th. He's 18th now. 18th, sorry.
49:51Yeah. But still five spots higher. So Heath just did make a pretty good case for him.
49:57You know, all those things factoring in here? Of course.
50:00Yeah, I mean, this is, I think, several players.
50:03You know, you have him. You have Rashi Rice.
50:06You have, you know, these guys that were drafted as starting options that are just struggling or terrible right now.
50:12And Herbert looks bad. You know, everything that I thought was going to happen with the tackles being back and Mike McDaniel being there has gone completely poof.
50:21You know, it's just terrible. It's terrible for the way that things have gone.
50:26Now, that being said, I thought he played much better in week one when Ladin McConkie was on the field.
50:32Hopefully getting McConkie back because it was disjoint a little bit last week from a practice standpoint.
50:38But this is an opportunity. This is a get right game.
50:41And, you know, it's funny to say that because they just played the Cardinals and the Raiders and he looked bad.
50:48And you would think that those were the two layups looking at what the schedule looks like.
50:54So, this would be the scenario of he comes out, plays well.
50:58You look at the Caleb Williams, Jaden Daniels, Jackson Dart manager, and whoever they picked up.
51:03And if that guy stinks, you try and trade Justin Herbert if you have a good backup quarterback because then they're playing Seattle in week four.
51:11So, it's probably not going to be great for him in week four.
51:15So, this is the spot that he has to play well.
51:19Otherwise, you've got to consider cutting. And if you need like a number three receiver or a flex or something, who's better?
51:26Let's say DJ Moore plays. Khalil Shakir or Quentin Johnston?
51:29I'd still take a chance on Johnston over Shakir, but that's where we are.
51:34Probably Shakir for me. Gosh, Quentin Johnston. Ugh, just so bad.
51:37Been a whole slew of reasons why he hasn't really caught any passes.
51:42I mean, he's got 13 targets and he has three catches.
51:45We've got a drop. We've got off-target throws. We've got deflected passes.
51:49We've got good coverage. We've got this and that.
51:52It's been a horrible start. He is one of two wide receivers this season to have at least 10 targets and a catchable target rate below 70%.
52:01Yeah, geez. The other one's Malachi Fields. It's not entirely on Herbert because two of those balls were batted down at the
52:08line of scrimmage, although that could be on Herbert.
52:11Well, of course it's not entirely on Herbert. No, it never is.
52:15Yes. Am I sitting Quentin Johnston for either Trey Tucker or Dontavian Wicks, asks Tofu.
52:20Yes. Tucker. Okay. All right. And then Dalton Kincaid is a top five tight end.
52:24Top three, I think, for Dave and Jamie. Would you start him over Brock Bowers this week if you had both?
52:31Yes. Yeah. All right. Let's read some questions here and we'll move on.
52:35Quentin Johnston or Ramondre Stevenson? PPR. Ramondre. Yep. Omari and Hampton or Cam Scadaboo?
52:40Hampton. That one is back-to-back for me, but Hampton.
52:43Herbert or Kyler? Herbert. Kyler for me. Gadsden or Loveland?
52:46We said Gadsden. How do you rank the Bills past catchers?
52:50I guess give me scenarios in DJ Moore and out.
52:53Heath. Kincaid, Moore, Shakir. Kincaid, Shakir, Coleman. I would go Coleman over Shakir if Moore's out.
52:58I'd go Shakir over Coleman if Moore's in. Gotcha.
53:01Herbert or Love? Love. Love. Hampton or Bucky Irving?
53:04Ooh, good question. Hampton. Yeah. Bucky. All right. Bucky with that tough matchup.
53:08Dalton Schultz or Dalton Kincaid? Kincaid. Schultz. All right.
53:11Herbert or Goff? Goff. Goff. I'm finished with this game.
53:14Are we starting a DST in this game? No.
53:17Okay. New England is at Jacksonville. And Drake May is about 15th in the rankings.
53:22If you want to hear who we're starting Drake May over, please go back to one question for each game.
53:29So far, Jacksonville has held Deshaun Watson and Bo Nix to right around 16 fantasy points and six point per passing touchdown leagues.
53:36Which running back do you like better for the Patriots, Jamie?
53:40I have them back-to-back. Ramondre one spot ahead. This was a rare occurrence where Trevion played more snaps than Ramondre.
53:46Another fumble for Ramondre. So this is one of those games where we'll see how they approach these guys and do they
53:53decide to make the switch of finally giving Trevion more chances because Ramondre has looked sluggish through the first two weeks.
54:00But my guess is that Ramondre will still play on passing downs and that's going to give him an edge, I think, in this game.
54:08It's tough to run on Jacksonville. So I know Jonah Coleman had a positive fantasy game last week, but this is a really good run defense.
54:17So if you can avoid them, try to avoid them.
54:20All right. Patriots wide receivers. Romeo Dobbs is still not cracking the top 30.
54:2436th, I think, for Jamie. 43rd, 42nd for Heath and Dave.
54:28That's Romeo Dobbs. Kind of a weird number on him.
54:31In week two, there were 87 wide receivers who ran at least 20 routes.
54:36Romeo Dobbs ranked 82nd in average route depth. Very, very low average route depth for Romeo Dobbs.
54:41But he was 9th in ADOT. He had a couple of plays where Drake May scrambled and he got behind the defense.
54:48I think it was – one of them was definitely like that and they hit him for a big play.
54:55But he wasn't a downfield guy. It was just kind of weird.
54:59All right. So would you start Denzel Boston over Romeo Dobbs?
55:02Yep. Yeah. Trey Tucker over Romeo Dobbs? Yep. Yep.
55:05Okay. It's interesting, you know, with Bauer's back and – okay.
55:09He's just been awful. Well, he had 80 yards last week.
55:12But – I think he had 90. 96. Yeah.
55:15But it was on four targets. Yeah. But only 22 pass times for me.
55:20He's a good depth player on your team right now.
55:23If you're stuck at receiver, I think you can start him in three receiver leagues.
55:28Like I'd start him over DK Metcalf. He's, you know, just as productive in one game as Metcalf has been basically in two.
55:35So I think you're looking at tough matchup. It's not easy for him.
55:39I just think he bounced back last week for what – how bad he was in week one and is going to
55:47probably get more opportunities this week because I wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots chasing points.
55:52And Hunter Henry. I kind of – I don't know why I thought he'd be a little higher.
55:58But, Heath, you've got him 11th, I think, Hunter Henry.
56:01So that's Jamie 16th, Dave 19th, 11th for you on Hunter Henry who led the team in targets last week.
56:07Yeah. And I don't – I'm not excited about Hunter Henry, but I think he's probably going to score around 10 fantasy points.
56:15Yeah. I love a lot of these, like, replacement tight ends this week.
56:19So Fryer Muth, you've heard me say this a billion times, like I love his matchup against Cincinnati.
56:25I think Terrence Ferguson's got a huge opportunity once again if Puka's out as we expect.
56:30You have Arana Gadsden who we, you know, just spoke about.
56:34So Henry's in that mix for sure, you know.
56:36And so if you are expecting a better performance than what we saw last week, which I think is certainly possible, he
56:44should be rostered in a little bit more leagues than he is because there's going to be opportunities for him to continue
56:51to, if not lead the team in targets, be close to it because of A.J.
56:56Brown being out. 57% rostered Hunter Henry. And who's your favorite, like, of those guys?
57:00Gadsden and who else did you say? Henry. Ferguson, for me, with Puka out, if Puka's in, it would be Fryer Muth.
57:08Heath, do you think the Jaguars are going to score a lot on the Patriots?
57:12What kind of game do you think we're going to get from the Jaguars?
57:17I'm not super optimistic about them scoring a lot.
57:20I think it's probably a game where they're somewhere between 21 and 27.
57:24Yeah. Over-under is, what, 45 and a half? So their implied total is 24.
57:29That sounds about right. I should have asked this question.
57:32Drake May or Trevor Lawrence? Who's the best quarterback in this game?
57:36Lawrence. But I don't really love either one. Yeah, I mean, Trevor Lawrence had a tough matchup last week, and he struggled.
57:4317 of 29 for 189 yards. He scored 6.2 fantasy points at Denver.
57:47Patriots are good, man. They have a really good defense.
57:50Their coverage on the Steelers guys was unbelievable. There was just no one open.
57:55This is a different animal, though. Is Parker Washington the only must-start for the Jaguars?
58:00Is he even a must-start? Yeah, of course. Yeah.
58:03Okay. He's not going. He'll avoid Gonzalez, so that's a positive.
58:06I think you just look at it like Lawrence had his nine-game streak of 23 fantasy points or more snapped against Denver.
58:13Great call by Heath. He was, I think, the lowest on Lawrence.
58:17They've allowed, the Patriots have only allowed one quarterback in their last nine regular season games to have multiple touchdowns, and that was Josh Allen.
58:25Now, they played a lot of crappy quarterbacks during that stretch, so take that into account.
58:31But I think you just look at Lawrence and lower your expectations.
58:34So low-end starter at best. And behind Tyler Shuck and Bryce Young and those guys.
58:39Gino Smith or Trevor Lawrence? What did you say, ahead of?
58:43Behind, behind them. Oh, behind you. Lawrence for me.
58:46Lawrence or Gino? Yeah, I'm not there with Gino yet.
58:49Okay. So Parker Washington is a must-start. Brian Thomas Jr.
58:52is not. But I will say this about Brian Thomas Jr.
58:56before you give up on him. He is getting targeted.
58:59He only had three targets in week one, but he missed some time in that game, and he had a 24.1% target per outrun rate with Trevor Lawrence.
59:08In week two, it was 35%. And he ran 75% of the routes, basically.
59:13So, you know, I think maybe, I don't know.
59:16Maybe be patient, but like we always say with him, the schedule sucks.
59:20It's pretty clear who Lawrence is favoring right now in the pass game.
59:24Yeah. It's the guys we want to see, you know, because Myers is not getting targets.
59:29Strange is not getting targets. Travis Hunter is barely playing on offense.
59:33The running backs are not involved in the passing game.
59:36So I think you got to be confident to some degree about Brian Thomas.
59:41Like you said, once we get past this brutal stretch of games for him, but you got to be patient.
59:47He's such a downfield guy. It's just, it's like all chunk plays basically with him.
59:52And sometimes he doesn't catch them. Are we trying to get away from the Patriots DST?
59:57Are we cool starting them? I would try to get away from him if you can.
60:03Would you pick up the Chiefs over the Patriots?
60:05Easily. I would. What's the Patriots? Who are the Patriots?
60:09I always hate dropping good tight end, good defenses because of one bad matchup.
60:13They got the bills next week. Yeah. So I think you can drop them.
60:18Okay. But then they have the Raiders and the Jets.
60:21But yeah. All right. Let's get some questions from the chat for this game.
60:26Parker Washington or Christian Watson? Washington. Yep. Hunter Henry or Kyle Pitts?
60:29Pitts. I'm going Henry. Young or Lawrence? Remember the last time Pitts played on Thursday night game?
60:35Yes. Best game ever for a tight end. We're going Bryce Young over Trevor Lawrence.
60:40Or Andre Stevenson or Matthew Golden in PPR? Golden.
60:43Yep. Bejel Tootin or Josh Downs in half PPR?
60:46Downs. Tootin. I skipped Tootin. Sorry. We talked about him earlier.
60:49He was a player Jamie wanted to avoid. Please listen to that portion of it.
60:54He's like a borderline number two running back. Just a really terrible matchup.
60:58Drake May or Kyler Murray? Kyler. I've got my...
61:01Parker Washington or Jalen Coker? Parker. Very close, but Parker.
61:04Hunter Henry, Mark Andrews, Harold Fannin. Pick one. Andrews.
61:07Andrews if no Zay. Henry if Zay plays. Stevenson or Tootin?
61:11I'd go Stevenson. Tootin. Bejel Tootin, Terry McLaurin, Rashad Bateman.
61:14Who do you pick? Bateman. Even if Flowers plays?
61:17Bateman. Bateman if Flowers plays. Or is Alec Tootin if Flowers plays.
61:21His real feelings came out there. Cincinnati's at Pittsburgh.
61:24Joe Burrow. Any concerns about Burrow? He's got like 36 fantasy points in two games.
61:29I mean, he's getting lucky that all these quarterbacks are injured and Drake May sucks.
61:34Otherwise, I think we'd be very frustrated about Joe Burrow and our shares in him.
61:38But you know the potential. Got you two touchdowns last week against Houston.
61:43Hopefully, that's something that we continue to see. I don't love the fact that he's still bothered by this back injury that Zach Taylor said he was sore.
61:52And the Steelers defense, we know at times, could be one of the best in football creating pressure.
61:58So he's still a starter, but he's not a top five guy.
62:01We should have done a better job of preparing people for this.
62:05This is what the Bengals do the first couple weeks of the season.
62:10It's true. They've been bad. Either they lose? Yes.
62:12Yeah. So I just kind of expect them to get it together.
62:16I'd start him over Lawrence. I'd start him over Bryce Young.
62:20I'd start him over Drake May. You're going to start him.
62:24You'd start him over Tyler Shuck. I would start Shuck over him.
62:27That's what I thought. Jamie, how do you go Shuck, Bryce Young, Joe Burrow?
62:32Burrow, Shuck, Young. Okay. Start Chase Brown. Mostly because I'm not making a transaction to pick up somebody else if I have Burrow.
62:39Fair. Yeah. You know what? I felt the same exact way.
62:43It's a guy who has some Burrow shares. Start Jamar Chase.
62:47T. Higgins is basically where you drafted him. What?
62:49What? Just like, eh. What, Higgins? Yeah, he just, eh.
62:53I got to tell you, man, I know this is going to sound crazy, and I don't know the reason for it,
63:00and I was talking to Dave about it. I don't know if he'd want me to share this, but I'm going to share it.
63:08We both kind of came to the same conclusion.
63:10T. Higgins did not look good last week. I know he had a big game.
63:15He was just like wide open on some plays over the middle.
63:19It was weird. He just didn't look good. I'm not really treating that as anything.
63:24But my radar, my antenna's up a little bit there.
63:27I'm still starting Higgins everywhere. He's one of my favorites.
63:31It's funny you say that, because they did something that nobody has done in two years.
63:36It's true. They did. 26 games, I think it was.
63:39They scored. Both of them scored more than 12 points.
63:42Yeah. So if that's him looking good, I'll take that.
63:45I know. He had five catches for 95 yards on 10 targets.
63:49It doesn't really matter, but let's, I guess I'm just curious what the heck is going on there.
63:55Don't start Kosicki. Don't start Rodgers. All right. Heath talked about Jalen Warren earlier as a player he loves, but let's just do it one more time.
64:04Heath, Warren with and without Rico Dowdle. How do you feel about him against a team that so far is one of
64:11the best run defenses in football against Bucky Irving?
64:14And well, Bucky, you know, it was fine, but killed Montgomery and Woody Marks.
64:19But anyway, yeah. Go ahead. Yeah. I think that Warren will be good in the way that Bucky was, which is catching a lot of passes.
64:27So he is a high end RB to if Rico's out.
64:31He's a mid to low end RB to if Rico plays.
64:34If Rico plays, he's a PPR flex. I think you also look at it.
64:39It's not just what Bucky did in the past games, but Woody Marks did in the past game last week too.
64:45So, you know, both those guys kind of gave you the blueprint.
64:49I think of how running backs are gonna have to win against this Bengals defense.
64:54Is Jalen Warren a better start than DK Metcalf?
64:57Yes. With or without Rico Dowdle? Yes. Do you think DK Metcalf cracks double digit fantasy points in this game?
65:04Right around there? Yep. Okay. Michael Pittman, if he plays, we're gonna sit him.
65:08We gotta see something there. And then Friermuth. Jamie, you got him 14th.
65:12You're the high guy on Friermuth. You've talked about it.
65:16Great history. Team struggled. This team struggled. Great history against the Bengals.
65:19This team struggled against the tight end last week.
65:22And Friermuth is still pretty involved in the offense.
65:25And Darnell Washington really isn't. Like Darnell Washington kind of had some games last year.
65:30And they had John New Smith as well. Where they were mixing in.
65:34It's not really happening that much so far. Let's see if we have questions about this game.
65:40It's pretty good. It's not really a question. Well, I don't know if Sam started or not.
65:45Or Thomas did. But Yoshivas is out with a thumb injury.
65:49And does that help Kaseki? It's worth keeping an eye on.
65:52I don't know if anybody's gonna start Kaseki. You shouldn't.
65:56But if he has another big game, that would be two of three.
66:00And now their third receiver's not there. I guess so.
66:03I mean, Yoshivas. How many targets does Yoshivas have?
66:06It's just, you know, he'll be, I'm sure, on the field more.
66:10He has four. Uh, Bengals or Steelers DST? Bengals.
66:13I think I have the Steelers just a little bit higher.
66:16Burrow or Purdy? Purdy. Uh, T Higgins or JMO?
66:19T. T. Chase Brown or Javante? Chase. Yep. Bengals or Patriots DST?
66:23Bengals. Uh, I think I have the Patriots are.
66:26Moving on. Let's go to Houston at Indianapolis. Although I should say that Pittsburgh's DST is 11th for Dave, 9th for Heath, and 14th for Jamie.
66:35So you don't have to get away from them.
66:38They're, they look like a pretty good defense even without Joey Porter Jr.
66:42All right. Houston at Indianapolis. Um, let's see. They also played Cooper Rush.
66:46They did play Cooper Rush and they played Drake May.
66:49Yeah, they were. It's true. I don't really know what to make of their defense.
66:54I could see the Bengals light lighting them up.
66:57Light them up. Uh, CJ Stroud. Light. What do you think about the Texans against this Colts team?
67:03Do we have, uh, some sleepers on this team?
67:06Because I'm assuming Nico's not going to play at this point.
67:09It's, it's just so hard to say which is the best receiver.
67:13Obviously Dalton Schultz has become, I don't know, for everybody a must-start guy.
67:17We haven't ranked that way. So coming off the game that he had and being second at the position of targets, it's
67:25hard to say he's not a must-start option. Um, I still like Xavier Hutchinson.
67:29It's been the best of the receivers. Just based on the three-game sample size of the last two years of no Nico Collins.
67:36The targets that he's got six or more targets and just had nine targets.
67:41So didn't connect last week against Cincinnati. But this Colts defense is so bad.
67:46There's, there's chances for him to make plays here.
67:48But, you know, when you had, uh, Wayne with seven targets and Booty was involved and, and the other way to spell Jalen, Jalen Knoll was involved also.
67:58Woody Marks out of the backfield. Like, there's just so many guys that are being used here.
68:03So I, I think if you're, if you're looking at it, like this could be a surprise start for CJ Stroud.
68:10Like I had to pick up CJ Stroud in one league where I lost Jane Daniels.
68:15So I'm hopeful the matchup will be in his favor as it has been for the first two quarterbacks that have faced this defense.
68:23I just don't know if this is going to be a David Montgomery three touchdown game again, because it wouldn't surprise me if it is.
68:31We've talked about, I haven't asked you this already.
68:34We've talked about Bejal Tootin, Ramondre Stevenson, Quinshawn Judkins.
68:37These guys are borderline RB twos. Is David Montgomery ahead of them?
68:41Yes. Uh, he's right in the mix for me.
68:44Okay. Uh, it is very encouraging. They had five catches in two games too.
68:48Yeah. And they're, they're splitting third down work, both games evenly.
68:52Woody marks and David Montgomery pretty evenly. Anyway, Colts defense has been terrible.
68:56We'll see if that was a matchup thing or not.
68:59Dalton Schultz is a guy you're going to start Hutchinson.
69:02Like, you know, as of yesterday, he was 7% rostered.
69:06And that's definitely a guy that if I'm looking at my roster on Sunday and I'm just, I hate my wide receiver.
69:13I really need someone. I've got Zay flowers and he's ruled out or something like that.
69:18I do think Hutchinson can be good. He gets, he gets targeted.
69:22And again, he should, he should have had, he got open for a 40 yard touchdown and CJ Stroud missed him.
69:29Uh, in the end zone. We, we have a lot of like potential game time decisions looming or Friday decisions that we're
69:36going to, you know, have to keep an eye on Travis.
69:39Achan now could be banged up. Mike Evans, um, Aaron Jones.
69:43Like I just think it'd be a good flex.
69:46Tyler Warren or Dalton Schultz? Schultz. Yeah. Okay. Start Jonathan Taylor.
69:49And how much do you like Josh Downs this week, Jamie?
69:53Um, he's right around 20th for me. I'm, you know, excited to see him as the lead guy.
69:59You know, we saw it in the chiefs game after out Pierce went down nine targets, seven catches, 72 yards.
70:05He's going to, you know, do a variety of things for this team.
70:09We'll see what Darius Slayton role is. We'll see how Keenan Allen, you know, we had six, five or six targets last week.
70:17Uh, didn't do much with it, but this is the guy I think that we're going to see Daniel Jones lean on.
70:24And I think he's going to be productive when he's been healthy.
70:28He's been a very good, you know, sort of borderline number two, number three fantasy receiver.
70:33And this is his best opportunity to succeed. So, uh, the Texans secondary has not played up to par.
70:39I don't know if that's just because of who they played, you know, Josh Allen and Joe Burrow.
70:45So it's a little bit concerning that, you know, Daniel Jones hasn't been great.
70:50I thought he did a good job, just didn't have the stats to back it up, but did a good job last week against the chiefs.
70:58So if they can move the ball, I think Josh down is going to be a reason why.
71:04Okay. Let's see if we have any Josh downs questions in the chat.
71:08Josh downs are, Oh, I asked Josh downs or David Montgomery earlier.
71:12It could be a format thing. Um, I hope we got Warren or Kittle, uh, Warren, but that could change if Evans is out.
71:20Warren this week and rest of season, Josh downs or Luther burden.
71:24If I have to make it like an absolute, it would be Josh downs.
71:28I'll say downs definitely for this week. Schultz or Tucker craft Schultz.
71:32Yep. Montgomery or Malik neighbors. Wow. Uh, I want to say Montgomery.
71:36Yeah, I think so. Montgomery or Javante Williams. Uh, Javante buzz gloves.
71:40Javante. Would you start Josh downs over Brock Bowers, a Mecca, a Buka or Jalen Waddle?
71:45Definitely over a Buka. Not the other two. I have downs.
71:49Just buying those guys. Okay. Kyler Murray or CJ Stroud.
71:52Uh, I think I have them back to back.
71:55Murray right now. Kyler. And we got three games left.
71:58Here we go. Jets are at the lions. Jets 22nd in pressure rate.
72:02So far, lions should be getting two starting offensive linemen back this week.
72:06We'll start with the jets. Start Brees Hall. Start Garrett Wilson.
72:10Adonai Mitchell or. Xavier Hutchinson of Neagle Collins is out.
72:13Mitchell. Adonai Mitchell or a Mecca Buka. Buka. Not there yet.
72:17Okay. Adonai Mitchell or Ramondre Stevenson and Bejal Tootin and Quinchon Judkins.
72:21Those guys. Not there yet. Yeah. Okay. So those guys start Mitchell over like DK Metcalf and Quinchon Judkins.
72:27And obviously Marvin Harrison. Like there's, there are certainly players that you drafted that you can start Mitchell over.
72:33I would only start him of all those names.
72:36Um, Harrison would be the only one I would start him over.
72:40I start him over Brian Thomas too. Gino Smith.
72:43Look, the lions have been one of the worst defenses in football.
72:47There's no question. They've allowed three touchdown passes in each of their first two games.
72:51Um, Gino Smith is 18th for Jamie 21st for Dave.
72:55And I don't think in the top 24 for Heath, it's a risk.
72:59Obviously he's, he hasn't played poorly, but he hasn't put up big numbers yet.
73:03Um, didn't have to in week one. And, you know, against the, I still think a decent defense last week in the
73:11weather, in the weather was 17 fantasy points. It was overtime, but, um, there, there, this is a great DFS play.
73:17It's a great super flex to quarterback play. And if you missed, because everybody in your league had backup quarterbacks and you
73:24lost Daniels and you lost Dart and you lost, uh, Caleb, like, this is not a bad, I'll play the matchups and see how it goes.
73:33Like, or love Jared golf this week, Heath. Um, so I would say love he's, he's QB five for me.
73:39He's right in a range with a bunch of guys from like five through eight, but he's, I'm not starting Tyler shock over him.
73:47So. Okay. We're bullish on Jared golf. Both Heath and Jamie have him top five, start Gibbs, start St.
73:53Brown. We talked a lot about Jamison Williams earlier.
73:56I, I think, I guess I'll call my shot here.
73:59I, I think he's gonna have a big game.
74:02Um, it's just, you know, nobody's on a buy.
74:05So being a top 30 wide receiver, I think it's still, it's pretty good.
74:10And he's top 30 for everyone. Uh, eventually he's going to have a big game.
74:15I said that I feel confident in, I, it should have been week one.
74:19He had a couple of drops or otherwise would have huge game.
74:23Just listen. great example. I have Trey Tucker in several leagues.
74:27He was on my, in my starting lineup over Debo Samuel and the Scott fishbowl in week one.
74:33I started Debo in week two and Trey, and Trey Tucker blew up.
74:37The JMO is exactly like he's a better version, but you can't sit Jamison Williams because he's had a bad gamer or two.
74:44Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Uh, and Sam Laporta is a top five tight end jets for what it's worth.
74:50Did a good job against Tucker craft last week, two catches for 15 yards, but Laporta is rolling a little bit here.
74:57He's been around 50 yards, both games. He's caught, caught a touchdown in week two.
75:02Um, all right, real quick. See if we have any questions here, golfer, Justin Herbert, we're going golf, sit one of these
75:09guys, Adonai Mitchell, Ramondre Stevenson, Xavier Hutchinson, Hutchinson, Hutchinson, Adonai Mitchell, Denzel Boston, Romo Dunze.
75:14Who do you like? Boston. Boston. Would you start Jared golf over Brock Purdy or Bryce young?
75:19Over Bryce, not pretty pretty golf young. Yep. Adonai Mitchell, Luther burden, bait man, wicks or Godwin.
75:25I'd go Mitchell. I'm sorry. I go bait. Excuse me.
75:28I would go bait. Bateman. If Zay is out, Jared golfer, Jalen hurts golf golf.
75:33Jamo or neighbors neighbors for now. Yeah. Rams or Broncos Rams.
75:37Tough one here. Tough one. Kyron Williams is the number 11 running back in fantasy.
75:42But he is 23rd among running back in touches.
75:44He is a scoring touchdowns. Thank goodness. Also should know Bo Nix has eight carries in two games.
75:50That's not bad. Four of them were kneel downs and one of them, he recovered his own fumble.
75:56So right now, Bo Nix only has three actual carries in two games.
76:00Like to see a little bit more work in the run game for Bo Nix.
76:05Okay. I started to sit Matthew Stafford, Jamie. Low end starter in that.
76:09Behind Chuck, behind Bryce Young. Right in the same range as like Herbert for me.
76:14Yeah, it's tough. Much, much more difficult matchup. Light years worse than last week against the Giants.
76:20And as of now, we're not expecting Puka Nakua to play.
76:23Is Kyron Williams just an easy start? Or are we missing a big picture here, Heath?
76:28Easy start. I think he's an easy start because we start two running backs.
76:33He's not, he is ranked lower for me than he was in the preseason.
76:38And, um, like the Denver defense run defense hasn't been good, but I don't think they're as bad as they were week one.
76:45And so he's, he started with an RB two.
76:48He has one more carry than Blake Corum this season.
76:51So, but you know what he does? He scores.
76:54He's a, he's a touchdown producer Denver so far actually bad against the run.
76:59Uh, most of that though, Ken Walker in week one where they just forgot how to play football and, uh, Chuba Hubbard or Kyron Williams.
77:07Chuba. Chuba. All right. Devante Adams. What are you, where are you going to rank him with and without Puka Nakua?
77:14You showed the rankings earlier. That's without Puka. So 12 for me, I think it was 10th for Heath.
77:20I'm not mistaken. Um, if Puka plays, he's probably like 18, 19.
77:24I was going to say 20. All right. Um, I'm nervous.
77:27I'm going to start him. I haven't been so many leads.
77:31I'm starting Devante Adams, but I'm nervous. God, it'd be great if he can come through here.
77:36Uh, but it doesn't sound like Puka is playing though.
77:39I know, but I, but again, like he's going to get shadowed by Sertan and it's going to be tough.
77:46Sertan is good. He's the best. He is the best of the best last year.
77:51Denver held. Now, some of these names are good.
77:54Some aren't McConkie, Michael Pittman, T Higgins, Jamar chase, AJ Brown, Rasheed rice, Garrett Wilson, Jacoby Myers, Brian Thomas, jr.
78:00All of them scored fewer than 10 fantasy points in PPR.
78:04It's it happens. Um, if, if, Puka is out, Terrence Ferguson is where Heath?
78:08Uh, right around 12 at tight end for me, Jamie, same, same.
78:12Okay. If Puka is in Terrence Ferguson is stash on the bench.
78:16Yeah. All right. Let's see what the roster ship is for Terrence Ferguson.
78:20Uh, 25%. If Puka is out, would you start Terrence or Jake Ferguson?
78:24Terrence. You're going to sit Bo Nix. I assume.
78:27Yep. Yes. Start Jalen Waddle. Number two is here.
78:30Yep. Uh, Waddle or Adams? Adams. Adams. Waddle if, uh, Puka plays.
78:34I'll probably have Adams and Waddle back to back if Puka plays.
78:38What movie is Adams college in? I don't know.
78:41Adams college. Yeah. They play football. We've got the football team there.
78:45It's Booger and Ogre and all of the revenge of the nerds.
78:49Um, how are we, how are we looking at the Broncos?
78:52Oh, you think Dan's seen revenge of the nerds?
78:55No chance. Yeah, I'm with you. I'm not sure he's heard of it.
78:59Um, JK Dobbins, RJ Harvey, uh, Jonah Coleman. Two of them were limited.
79:04One mispractice. Heath, what the hell are we doing with the Denver running backs this week?
79:09Uh, if Dobbins is active, then he is the best Broncos running back.
79:13I, we're projecting to play right now. He's right around RB 30 for me.
79:18So he's a flex behind Ramondre Stevenson, who we don't really want to start either.
79:22Remember in week one, they didn't have their, their sleep and we, and they didn't have Aaron Donald.
79:28We saw the Rams run. The Rams all defensive line was just a absolute nightmare last week.
79:34And didn't even have miles Garrett. It's going to be a tough team to run on.
79:39I think. Um, and Sid Evan Ingram. What are we doing with the DSTs in this game?
79:45Jamie, I would just start them, you know, much more encouraged by the Rams because I think Bo Nix is going to struggle with this defense.
79:53He played better than I anticipated last week against Jacksonville's defense, but still not great.
79:58So I just think you start them. All right.
80:01Waddle, by the way, kind of a weird note on him.
80:04He had a 65% slot rate in week one down to 26% in week.
80:09And week two, that was, uh, I don't, I don't get the usage there.
80:13Kansas city's at Miami. This is our last game.
80:16Heath, I think pretty easy game here. Start Walker.
80:19We talked about Rasheed Rice. Go back to one question for each game.
80:23If you want the Rasheed Rice analysis, he's a start, but maybe a reluctant one.
80:28Um, especially for Heath Mahomes. He's plenty like, wow, did he look great on, on a Sunday night?
80:34However, how, what's the concern level of him just not needing to do anything here and, and not putting up numbers.
80:41I'm pretty low, just because I think they'll probably score four touchdowns before he comes out of the game.
80:47Two of them. Like there's, they're still doing some of the inside the 10, um, Andy Reed stuff.
80:53And I think it like Ken Walker's awesome. He's a top four or five running back rest of season, but for the
81:00benefit of Patrick Mahomes and maybe Rasheed Rice and Travis Kelsey, I think it might matter a little bit that they got
81:07stuffed at the goal line a couple of times last week because that offense prefers to do crazy stuff inside the 10,
81:14as opposed to just hand it off. And now they have license to.
81:18So how about the Bryce young and Tyler Shuck versus Patrick Mahomes?
81:22Mom. Uh, yeah. Jerry. Look, the dolphins allowed three touchdowns to Kirk cousins.
81:27They allowed three total touchdowns to Brock Purdy. Purdy was at one point, I don't know what he finished.
81:33We was 20, 22, um, throwing the ball like this defense stinks.
81:37This team is so bad. Yeah, they are. Patrick Mahomes last year, he had four games where he played and they won
81:44by 14 or more of more than 14 points.
81:47And he threw 37, 37, 35 and 34 passes.
81:50But this year he threw only 27 passes in week one.
81:53He still had a good game though. That's enough.
81:56I hope so. I think so. No, I think he, you know, it's early for this, but it wouldn't surprise me based
82:03on some of the things, the narratives that came out, especially from him, if he's hunting the MVP and this is a pad, your stats game.
82:12So can you win MVP and come back player of the year in the same year?
82:17Um, it's him. So sure. Uh, and no wide receiver has more than five targets against the dolphins yet.
82:23That's something to keep in mind just because it's reason to be concerned about rice really is.
82:28But I think this is potential get right game.
82:31Now, Travis Kelsey appears to be a must start at this point.
82:35Although, you know, week one was kind of lucky, but he was amazing in week two.
82:40And I saw a stat yesterday on ESPN.com that his, his like, he's running his routes in terms of miles per hour.
82:48Travis Kelsey, he's faster now than he's been in like two or three years.
82:52Yeah. He's got in wedding shape and it didn't stop.
82:55Yeah. There you go. I, they said there was, they said on the broadcast and I don't, I haven't been able to perfectly verify this.
83:03The chief's released some things that he now is the all time leader in yards after catch.
83:09Yes, he is. And they said on the broadcast, he currently leads all wide receivers and tight ends in yards after catch this season.
83:17Well, yeah, that makes sense. Yeah. That huge play.
83:20Yeah. Right. That's wild. Um, okay. Devon H and are there any running backs?
83:24any scenarios where you can see yourself sitting Devon H in this week?
83:28Chuba and right. I'm not. Okay. Yeah. He's pretty much going to be a start.
83:33Anyone else for the dolphins? No, Douglas is injured.
83:36You know, we'll see what, how many fantasy managers drop him or have to drop him because of being an end of bench guy.
83:44Malik Willis has not been good. Like sleeper, deep sleeper, wide receiver.
83:48Um, I think Malik Washington has a 26% target share already.
83:51Now. Caleb Douglas is out. Chris bell may not be healthy.
83:55Malik Washington might get you double digit fantasy points.
83:58He's definitely in that Xavier Hutchinson range of guys.
84:01Start the chiefs DST and have yourself a wonderful Thursday folks.
84:04Enjoy the game tonight. We will talk to you for, uh, Dave and I'll do beat the waiver wire in a little
84:11bit and we'll talk to you on third Friday on Friday.
84:15The starters. He almost did it. He almost did it.
84:18He home games. Talk to you later. See ya.
