Ashton Jeanty

NegativeInjury5:16

Ashton Jeanty suffered an ankle sprain in practice. While it appears to avoid a worst-case scenario, the severity is unknown, leading to significant uncertainty regarding his availability for the start of the season.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection21:46

Jamie moved Purdy ahead of Stafford, Goff, and Dart in his rankings, citing the return of Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle as key factors that provide Purdy with an elite group of weapons.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveInjury17:32

Christian McCaffrey is back to practice after a planned training camp absence designed to ramp him up for the regular season.

Insight page
PositiveValue22:12

Jamie moved McCaffrey up one spot in his rankings (from 11th to 10th) due to his return to practice and health status.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveValue5:46

DJ Moore has seen his ADP rise by four spots, indicating increased market confidence.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue49:46

DeAndre Swift is a target in the early fourth round, with some analysts considering him in the third round due to his high usage and role.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveValue43:11

Dalton Kincaid is a strong value in the TE10-12 range due to his efficiency as the NFL's top yards-per-route-run tight end last year; he has stayed healthy in camp and is improving as a blocker, which could lead to a 75-80% snap share.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveValue39:46

Heath moved Schultz up to the round 10 range, noting he is a perfect floor-play tight end to pair with injury-prone options, especially with Jaden Higgins injured.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveValue5:43

David Montgomery has risen five spots in CBS ADP. Despite concerns about a potential split with Woody Marks, he is expected to retain goal-line work and remains a target for double-digit touchdown potential.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

PositiveValue38:16

Heath ranks Achane between RB12 and RB14, noting he is a round-three pick with a higher floor than Ashton Jeanty or Josh Jacobs.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeProjection25:10

Deshaun Watson has been named the starter, but analysts have set an over-under of only 2.5 games for him, citing poor preseason performance.

Insight page

Dylan Laube

NegativeDepth Chart15:31

Dylan Laube is identified as the backup behind Mike Washington in a running back room described as lacking depth.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

PositiveValue106:18

Emeka Egbuka is falling in rankings due to a toe injury, but the source views him as a mid-round three pick if 100% healthy, noting he would take him ahead of Zay Flowers and Garrett Wilson in that scenario.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveRole21:21

Jamie moved Kittle up to tight end nine now that he has been cleared to practice, placing him ahead of Fannin and Kelsey.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveUsage45:02

Isaiah Likely is expected to be the number two target on the Giants behind Malik Neighbors, and potentially the number one target if Neighbors misses time, based on consistent positive reports from Giants beat writers.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeRole108:30

The source is skeptical about J.K. Dobbins repeating last year's performance, suggesting the team will mix in RJ Harvey more, though Dobbins is still considered a viable option in his current draft range.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeValue60:04

Jadarian Price is a late round 5/early round 6 pick whose value is tied to Zach Charbonnet's health; if Charbonnet returns early, Price's role will be significantly diminished.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveValue3:56

Heath Cummings selected Jahmyr Gibbs with the first overall pick in the FFT Open draft, signaling high confidence in his value.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveSleeper41:00

Heath moved Coker up into round nine, noting he is seeing increased slot usage and outscored teammates in the final five games of last season.

Insight page
PositiveUsage41:44

Jalen Coker is expected to dominate targets alongside McMillan in a concentrated passing offense; he outscored McMillan and Ted Rowe by 5 PPR points per game over the final five games of last season.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveBreakout24:12

Jamie moved Williams up in his rankings, ahead of Rome Odunze and Christian Watson, due to the Sam LaPorta injury; Williams showed significantly better production without LaPorta last season.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveValue5:48

Jonathan Brooks has climbed nine spots in ADP and is currently being drafted 68th overall on NFC over the last six days.

Insight page
PositiveValue62:27

Jonathan Brooks is rising in ADP, currently sitting at 68th overall on NFC, making him a target earlier than his previous 88th overall ranking.

Insight page
NegativeValue103:03

Jonathan Brooks is rising in ADP to 68th overall on NFC, but the source expresses concern that the hype has gone too far; while Chuba Hubbard's injury provides an opportunity, the outlook remains similar to the start of the summer, and the source would not draft him in the 60s.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue31:16

Jamie moved Downs up into the late 30s/high 40s range, identifying him as the best Colts receiver to draft despite the presence of Keenan Allen.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeValue10:41

If Josh Jacobs is confirmed to avoid suspension, he is considered a safer draft pick than Ashton Jeanty given the current injury uncertainty surrounding Jeanty.

Insight page

Kaelon Black

PositiveDepth Chart23:13

Jamie gives Kalon Black a slight edge as the primary backup to McCaffrey over Jordan James because Black returned to practice sooner, though the team will likely use both players if McCaffrey is injured.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeDepth Chart110:27

Keaton Mitchell appears to be the number two running back for the Chargers, though he recently missed practice.

Insight page

Kyle Monangai

NegativeValue49:12

Kyle Monongai has dropped to a round 9-10 pick because he may not be healthy for Week 1 and faces competition from Blake Corum, Jonathan Brooks, and RJ Harvey.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

PositiveValue109:16

Makai Lemon is falling in ADP due to injury, currently at 130th overall, which the source identifies as good value, though they personally rank him slightly lower at 114th.

Insight page

Malik Davis

PositiveDepth Chart110:42

John Mishota of The Athletic projects that Malik Davis will start the season as the Dallas Cowboys' number two running back.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

PositiveDepth Chart25:48

Michael Penix Jr. has been cleared to practice in full. Analysts believe he will eventually become the Falcons' starting quarterback.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury18:06

Mike Evans is dealing with a precautionary quad injury, but expectations remain that he will be ready for Week 1.

Insight page
NegativeValue56:06

Mike Evans is a risky pick in round 5 due to recurring injuries and target competition, but he remains a potential 1,000-yard, 10-touchdown candidate if healthy; he is a better value in round 6.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveBreakout7:06

Mike Washington has impressed in the preseason, leading to expectations of a larger-than-anticipated backfield split. If Ashton Jeanty were to miss significant time, Washington would be a primary beneficiary.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeUsage109:40

Parker Washington has returned to practice, and while the source drafted him, they remain skeptical of the surrounding hype and are not fully convinced of his fantasy value.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveValue23:34

Quinshawn Judkins is preferred over David Montgomery by the analysts, with higher upside for receptions and overall production.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveUsage108:16

RJ Harvey has worked exclusively with the first team in preseason, playing nearly every snap before Jonah Coleman enters, making him a value at his falling ADP of 87th overall.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

NegativeInjury25:24

Heath has not moved LaPorta in his rankings, noting that the injury appears to be a minor hip bruise rather than a significant ligament or muscular issue.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveUsage110:46

The Rams are reportedly looking to get second-year tight end Terrence Ferguson more involved in the offense.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveValue107:33

Tyler Warren has fallen to 59th overall in ADP, which the source considers a value opportunity, noting that the Keenan Allen signing might be an overblown reason for his drop despite Allen's target-earning history.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeBust48:29

Tyrone Tracy has fallen out of the top 10 rounds for Heath because he lacks the floor and upside of other handcuff running backs like Marshawn Lloyd or Tyler Allgeier; he may not have a significant role if Najee Harris is utilized.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveUsage21:42

Woody Marks is expected to play more on passing downs than David Montgomery. Analysts believe his current ADP is too low.

2:21He's just gonna go the distance! Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
2:26And it's a big day here in the FFT world.
2:30Welcome to the show. It is Monday, August 24th.
2:32Adam Azer and Heath Cummings. Jamie Eisenberg joining us shortly.
2:36FFT Open underway. Heath Cummings had the first pick in the Heath Cummings division and he took?
2:41Jameer Gibbs. Jameer Gibbs. Very good. I have the eighth pick.
2:45I'm hoping to make two picks today. Slow drafts for the 36 divisions.
2:49Now, not all of them have started because we still have 10 spots.
2:53I believe we only have 10 spots left, Heath.
2:5610 spots. That is fantastic. Fantastic. I think we're gonna do it.
2:59I think we're gonna sell it out and raise $99,000 for St.
3:03Jude Children's Hospital. So some of the leagues will start Thursday if we haven't sold them because Wednesday night is our draft-a-thon show.
3:11I'll tell you more about that later. But also, why am I in a good mood?
3:16Because it looks like, don't know yet, looks like Ashton Gentry avoided a worst-case scenario.
3:20Calling it an ankle sprain. But we haven't heard from the team yet.
3:25But yesterday, there was definitely concern that this was a very long-term injury for Ashton Gentry.
3:30The Browns named a starting quarterback. We already put the over-under on two and a half games of him being the starting quarterback.
3:37But we'll get to that. And today, risers and fallers, not only in the rankings, but looking at CBS ADP.
3:43We'll take a look at David Montgomery up five spots.
3:46DJ Moore up four spots in ADP. Jonathan Brooks up nine spots.
3:50And he's actually going 68th on NFC average draft position over the last six days.
3:55We'll tell you which players are falling as well.
3:58Heath, give me your reaction to the Ashton Gentry news.
4:01He goes down in practice yesterday. Dave Richard was at the practice.
4:05And I think there's a general sense of surprise that it wasn't worse than what's being called a sprained ankle right now.
4:12And we don't know how bad the sprain is.
4:15So I think we've hopefully dodged the season-ending bullet.
4:18We don't know if we've dodged the missing the start of the year.
4:22I, late last night, had moved it to Ashton Gentry at the 3-4 turn.
4:26Mike Washington I drafted in round eight of a draft that was going on last night.
4:31This morning, I have really struggled with Gentry against basically everyone in round three.
4:36So definitely not. I moved him behind Derrick Henry, behind Saquon Barkley, behind all those running backs that might go in round two.
4:43Right now, I have him at the 2-3 turn.
4:46Mike Washington at the 9-10 turn. This is still a fluid situation.
4:50And either one of those guys could still be moved during the show.
4:54Yeah, listen, if you're in the FFT Open and your spot comes up and you're thinking about taking Gentry, I would wait three hours.
5:01I would take the clock the entire time. If we get to the 2-3 turn in my league after I just took
5:08Jameer Gibbs first and Ashton Gentry is available, I will use every second of the clock.
5:13That's six hours you have there. I guess technically, no, I think it would probably just auto-pick me after a three.
5:20Well, you could take two hours, 59 minutes, make a pick, and then we'll take another three.
5:26I hope that doesn't happen. Jamie, where are you at on the Raiders running backs right now?
5:31Almost the same spot Heath is. I think the 2-3 turn makes sense.
5:35He's in round three for me, but that's the spot after all the other running backs we had in the top 12.
5:42I do think that, like Heath said, we just don't have all the information yet.
5:47We don't know if it's a high ankle sprain.
5:50We don't know if he fractured anything in his ankle.
5:53We just don't have all the details. It sucks that Dave's not going to be there again.
5:58He was at the practice yesterday when he got hurt, Dave Richard.
6:02Hopefully, we get some more information and fantasy managers can react.
6:06The drafts last night, like Heath, I'm sure, alluded to were wild.
6:09I had somebody text me that he still went 13th overall.
6:13I saw some drafts where they were back-to-back, Washington and Gente.
6:16It's just one of those things where timing of drafts matter and why we try to have you wait as long as possible.
6:24We'll see. We'll see. I hope it's great news.
6:26We got good news. I hope it's great news that it's a mild ankle sprain or not a significant high ankle sprain
6:33that he's not going to miss a lot of time in the regular season.
6:38Yeah. So, we have a question. If you knew Josh Jacobs were not getting suspended, would you take Jacobs or Gente?
6:45Jacobs. I mean, again, not knowing the Gente length of injury right now, it's close.
6:49So, I guess just to be smart, you'd lean or be safe.
6:53I guess you lean Jacobs. Yeah. And then you just mentioned this comes from Autumn Voyage.
6:58Ankle sprain did a number on Jonathan Taylor. I'm worried about a four to six week.
7:03And him and Gentry not being as explosive for a while, even after that.
7:08But Jamie just said that that was a high ankle sprain for Jonathan Taylor.
7:12And he missed three games. And I've kind of gone over.
7:16Yeah. I don't remember all the details. I feel like he wasn't as good, but also his yards per carry was like
7:234.7 yards per carry after the high ankle sprain.
7:26And I think it was 4.8 before. CeeDee Lamb had a high ankle sprain in week three last year.
7:32He came back and he was great. So, but this is not, from what we've heard, not a high ankle.
7:38Well, I wouldn't say that. Just we haven't heard that it is a high ankle sprain.
7:43We have no information right now. I think the things you got to factor in with Gente, which you were clearly factoring
7:50in before, and now you're throwing an injury on top of it.
7:54Their projected win total is five and a half.
7:57They have among the worst schedules in the NFL.
8:00They still don't have their quarterback situation settled, which isn't necessarily a bad thing because they seem to be comfortable and confident
8:07with where both guys are in terms of Kirk Cousins and Mendoza.
8:10But we know it's still a limited offensive skill, limited offensive weaponry on this roster.
8:15So there were things that were working against him to begin with, and now you're just throwing in the biggest thing, which is this injury.
8:23So when, again, when you're comparing him to Josh Jacobs at this point or Kyron Williams, those guys that are going in
8:30early to mid-round three, Javante Williams, you can certainly pass on Gente and take those other guys.
8:35I think it's just easy at this point to all the other top 12 running backs to just say, okay, I'm taking
8:42all those guys, Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, Ken Walker, just keep working your way up.
8:47They're just in a much better spot right now just under the circumstances.
8:51Okay, two more questions. Go ahead. No, I think the way that Washington has popped in the preseason, and I kind of
8:58thought he was a little underrated before this all happened.
9:01Like, I don't think we are getting a Ken Walker, Zach Charbonnet.
9:05People like to use that reference because of Kubiak.
9:08I don't think we're getting that type of split because I don't think Washington's going to take those high-value touches that Charbonnet took.
9:15But I do think it's likely that we see a bigger split than people were expecting between these two running backs.
9:22So last question. Someone asked who the backup is behind Mike Washington, and this is a bad running back room at this point.
9:29That's one of the great appeals of Mike Washington as a backup is Dylan Laube.
9:34Dylan Laube. I think the one thing to even factor in if Jente does miss time, Darugumawale is going to probably play on third downs.
9:42And so that's the one sort of wrinkle to all this is that I think Washington benefits the most without question.
9:49But is there another guy? For me, I would anticipate it being Ogumawale.
9:53But I also think that if this is significant and we may not have dodged a bullet, then you're going to hear
10:00James Conner, Trey Benson, somebody that's on the bottom of somebody's roster.
10:04Dylan McLaughlin, for example, if the Broncos want to trade in division.
10:08Somebody. Isaac Garendo. You could get some name that we know may not be better than Washington.
10:13May be better than Washington. Going into Las Vegas and ruining that potential handcuff option right now.
10:18So there's still a lot of moving parts to this just to keep in mind.
10:23Okay. Just last question. The Raiders makes a ton of sense.
10:27Exactly. Last question. Let's just say, just to get your idea of how good he could be, if this were a season-ending
10:34injury, or Ashton Gentry won the lottery and retired, where would you rank Mike Washington?
10:38Or draft him? Right around Basial Toot and Jadarian Price.
10:41So like 26, 27. That's exactly what I was going to say.
10:45Okay. All right. Moving on. We've got Mike Evans leaving with a quad injury, but it was called precautionary, of course.
10:52Great stuff. But the better news is that Christian McCaffrey's back.
10:55And not only is Christian McCaffrey back, so is Jordan James.
10:59But Christian McCaffrey said that this was the plan all along, was to sit him during training camp and to ramp him
11:06up as he got closer to this season. So when we get into risers and followers, which will be soon, the guys
11:13will tell you why Christian McCaffrey is a riser.
11:16Dijon Stribling is a riser. Dijon Stribling is day-to-day with a shoulder injury.
11:20He practiced in a non-contact jersey. So I don't think that's a problem there.
11:24Mike Miyako, who covers the 49ers for NBC Sports Bay Area, he thinks that they could keep George Kittle out for week
11:31one, but he expects Mike Evans week one. But I think he may have said that before.
11:37Yeah, he did say that before this little precautionary quad injury for Mike Evans.
11:41Which one? Yeah. ESPN's Jordan Renan said that Najee Harris was signed under the premise that he's going to be a significant contributor.
11:48Which, not to take a shot at the right or anything, but it's like a little vague.
11:54I don't know exactly what that means. I do think it's good that Cam Scadaboo did not play against the Dolphins, and
12:01Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary did, and Tyrone Tracy fumbled.
12:04You know what Scadaboo's ADP is? No. 34.8. Oh, my goodness.
12:08That's incredibly atrocious. Yeah, that's very high. Let me see where it is on NFC over the last week.
12:14Scadaboo. Oh, I have it toggled to wide receivers.
12:16Sorry. Yeah, over the last week on these higher stake leagues, Cam Scadaboo is going as RB19.
12:22He's going 50th, but these are very wide receiver heavy leagues, so the running backs fall.
12:27But RB19, how does that sound to you guys for Scadaboo?
12:30It's a little too soon, but still the range for him, though.
12:34I just think when you see him on our site, he's ahead of Jamonte Williams.
12:39He's ahead of Travis A. Chan. He's ahead of Swift.
12:42Like, no way I could do that. Right. Okay.
12:45A few more news items here. We've got some quarterback news.
12:49Also, Rashad Bateman, turns out, was arrested in June on family violence charges.
12:53So that's been under wraps for a while, but we'll see if he's going to face a suspension.
12:58Rashad Bateman. A report, Heath, from Jonathan M. Alexander in the Houston Chronicle.
13:02It says, David Montgomery and Woody Marks could have close to a 50-50 split.
13:07Your thoughts? Yeah, I don't think it will be like the 50-50.
13:11I don't think it will be a 50-50 split, first off.
13:14I've been higher on Marks, lower on Montgomery for most of the summer.
13:18I don't think this is like a Kyron Corum or Swift Mononghi thing where they're necessarily sharing dry or splitting drives.
13:25I think Montgomery is still going to get all the goal line work, and you're still hoping for him to pay off at ADP by scoring double-digit touchdowns.
13:34I think Woody Marks is probably going to play more on passing downs than Montgomery.
13:39I think Montgomery's ADP is too high. I think Woody Marks' ADP is too low, and they'll hopefully come together a little bit.
13:46But as I looked at the notes, I noticed that David Montgomery's ADP is getting higher, not lower.
13:52Yeah, he's up to 51st on CBS. He's also 51st on NFC in that time frame the last six weeks.
13:58CBS, you know, we have... The one thing I don't love about ADP data is that, you know, I can't really set a date range on most websites.
14:07So it's got ADP from all over the place.
14:10That's why on NFC, you know, you can look at a certain date range.
14:14But Dave Montgomery ahead of Quinshawn Judkins on both websites, CBS and NFC ADP over the last six days.
14:20Is that Jamie? Heath, Jamie first. Montgomery or Judkins?
14:23Right now, Judkins, but they're back-to-back for me. You know, again, I think when you talk about the profile for both guys,
14:30you're expecting, you're hoping for touchdowns to probably be the saving grace here because you probably aren't going to get a ton of receptions.
14:38I think Judkins probably has a better chance to do that.
14:41But that said, the win total, the opportunities, if they were closer in age, I think it would be easier.
14:48Montgomery's probably in a better spot. So that's a move that I've been kicking back and forth.
14:53And Scadaboo, to be honest with you, too, because of this whole mess of how many players are there.
14:59So my rankings right now are Scadaboo, Judkins, Montgomery in that order.
15:03And I feel like Montgomery's in a better spot than both those guys.
15:07Heath? Heath's third for me. Judkins, Scadaboo, Montgomery for me.
15:10All right. Get to the quarterback notes here. And Cleveland named Deshaun Watson, their starting quarterback.
15:15I don't think they were watching preseason week two.
15:18He was so bad. The amount of self-control it took for me to not boo when you said that.
15:24No, it's awful. But I think the speculation I've seen on Twitter is just that it's a lot easier to bench Watson
15:31and go to Sanders than it is the other way around.
15:35I've set two and a half starts as the over-under for Deshaun Watson.
15:39It's also easier to lose with Deshaun Watson and set yourself up for what you're trying to do, which is 2027.
15:45Patrick Mahomes expects to be ready for week one.
15:48And Michael Penix Jr. has been cleared to practice in full.
15:52Do you guys think Michael Penix Jr. will eventually become the starting quarterback for the Falcons?
15:57Yes. I don't know, but it's one of the reasons that I've not been concerned about Drake London and Tua's performance.
16:04It's because if Tua is as bad as he was in the preseason game, then he's got Penix and he's already been awesome with Penix.
16:11Yep. All right. Our Draftazons show is Wednesday night, 5 to 8 p.m.

20:34Let's get into risers and fallers brought to you by Whoop, the wearable device that gives you personalized insights into your sleep
20:41recovery, your strain, and how daily choices may be influencing your overall well-being.
20:46Jamie's got his Whoop on today, right? Let me see that.
20:49There it is. Oh, Heath has his too. Look at that.
20:52Love it. Is it great? It's awesome. Great. Fantastic.
20:55That's great. If you want to learn more, head to whoop, whoop.com today.
20:59All right, Jamie, send in a list of risers.
21:02I think Heath agrees with a lot of them, but let's find out.
21:06All right, you got Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey.
21:09Let's start with those 49ers. Purdy and McCaffrey as risers, Jamie.
21:13Yeah, I think I might have left off Kittle, but Kittle also a riser now that he's been cleared to play or cleared to practice.
21:21I think, you know, for me, I was kind of in this conundrum of Purdy, Stafford, Goff, and Dart.
21:27Prior to all the 49ers news, I had Purdy last of that quartet and Dart first, and I basically just flipped them.
21:34So I left Stafford and Goff in the middle and put Purdy ahead of it.
21:39I just think that Kittle being cleared, hopefully Evans will be okay, what's dribbling has shown, and now McCaffrey's back.
21:45Like, that gives Purdy just an amazing group of weapons, and hopefully he'll still be as successful as he was last year.
21:52I know you like to bring up this a lot, which is fair that, you know, he feasted on some of the
21:59worst defenses last year, but he's also been pretty solid throughout the course of his career and very steady.
22:05So they're all in the same tier for me.
22:08I just have Purdy at the top. Yeah, and where's McCaffrey now?
22:12So McCaffrey just moved to a cold spot, just the fact that he was cleared.
22:16He was 12th, or I think he was 11th, but now he's 10th, so maybe one spot.
22:22But just being healthy and then just moving some running backs around, you know, with the genti news, you know, dropping him down.
22:29So shuffled those guys in the second tier for me.
22:32Taylor's still at the top. Cook is now fourth.
22:35Chase Brown fifth. McCaffrey sixth. All right. We've got Woody Marks.
22:39Kittle's now tight end nine. Okay. Kittle's tight end nine.
22:42So that puts him ahead of who? Ahead of Fannin and Kelsey.
22:46He was behind those two. Heath, where are you on Kittle?
22:49I need to move him up, but I don't think he's going to get into my top 10, or top 10.
22:56Not in my top 12. Just right around 13 is most likely where he lands.
23:00I will have a tight end riser that you disagree with just a little bit later in the show.
23:07Oh, okay. I'm very excited. Mike Washington Jr. Ariser.
23:09That's obvious. And we talked about him earlier. Kalon Black.
23:13Clear handcuff for you, Jamie, to McCaffrey? No, not the clear handcuff because Jordan James also returned yesterday.
23:18So we'll see how this unfolds. James was the projected backup before he suffered the rib injury.
23:24And then Kalon Black dealt with the knee injury.
23:27Black came back first. He, by all accounts, has looked good.
23:30We'll see how this sort of plays itself out.
23:33My guess is that they'll use both guys if there is an injury to McCaffrey.
23:38And then whoever is the better of the two, they'll stick with kind of like what they've done in the past.
23:44You know, Raheem Mostert wasn't expected to be the backup a few years ago when he took over for Elijah Mitchell.
23:51Garendo eventually outplayed or eventually took over for Jordan Mason when he got injured.
23:55So they'll use multiple guys, I think, until they figure out which one's better.
24:00But right now, give a slight edge to Kalon Black.
24:03So the fact that he's back healthy and practicing sooner than James gives him a slight advantage.
24:08Talk about Jamison Williams, why he's a riser for you.
24:12The Laporta injury? The Laporta injury, yeah. I mean, you know, again, you saw what happened last year.
24:17We don't know the extent of how long Laporta's going to be out.
24:21They're downplaying it, which is encouraging. But still, you know, for a guy that, if you recall at the time, the back injury was expected to be minor.
24:30And then they shut him down for the rest of the season.
24:34So I think it was just kind of like, again, sort of reshuffling.
24:38So I originally had Evans ahead of Jamison. I moved Evans behind Jamison and just moved Jamison.
24:44Right now, prior to yesterday or prior to this news, he was behind Romo Dunze and Christian Watson.
24:49I just moved ahead of those guys again. All in a very similar draft range prior to this.
24:55Just bumping him up with the potential of, oh, God, if Laporta misses any time, Jamison's numbers were significantly better without Laporta last year.
25:03Significantly more targets, just a bigger piece. And by all accounts, he's having a great training camp.
25:08So, you know, hopefully Jamison, you know, the best thing about this is I think they all could be special.
25:14And that's the fun thing about the Lions offense.
25:17I think I had Jamison pretty close to where Jamie's moved him.
25:21So I agree with where he's got him ranked.
25:24I just, can we please have a little bit more information?
25:28I saw somebody in the chat said, what Laporta injury?
25:31It's like, it does sound like he got hit in the hip, which could still be really painful and could be really
25:38bad if it was like the exact wrong place to get hit.
25:41But I feel a little better about that than he tweaked something in his hip and he has some ligament or muscular issue there.
25:49It does sound like it may just be like a bruise.
25:53So I haven't moved Laporta yet. I'm hopeful that we get some more clarification this week, though, because I think I've now
26:00drafted him in every one of my drafts that count so far.
26:03And to be fair, I have not moved Laporta at all either.
26:07I think it's more the what could Jamison be if there is no Laporta?
26:12Like that would be probably 10 spots higher than where he is right now.
26:16Well, where is Laporta for you guys? Because on CBS, he's one of the biggest fallers.
26:21Obviously, most of the fallers are injured players. He's down seven spots to 78th overall.
26:26Same ADP as Tucker Craft for Sam Laporta. And 99th on NFC for Sam Laporta over the last six days.
26:32That's tight end eight. So, I mean, 99th, yeah, we'd be doing cartwheels if we can get Sam Laporta 99th.
26:39We don't even know if he's going to miss a game.
26:42But how about 78th? Heath, is that still good for you?
26:46So I took him in round seven of my draft last night right about there.
26:50I still have him ranked about a round and a half above there.
26:55But I just don't have to worry about it because I can wait for Sam Laporta to be drafted.
27:01And last night, Kyle Pitts and – or I mean, sorry.
27:04I can wait for Tyler Warren to be drafted.
27:07Last night, Kyle Pitts and Tucker Craft went ahead of him as well.
27:11I think he's a 5'6 turn guy for me.
27:14Most places you will see, most rank lists you will see, most draft rooms you will see, will have Pitts ahead of Laporta for sure at this point.
27:23And almost certainly have Craft in the same range if not higher as well.
27:27So people are concerned about Laporta. I mean, look, you got burned by him last year.
27:32And now he's dealing with an injury as well.
27:35So it's understandable like when you're stacking him up to those guys.
27:39If I see him behind Fanon, like that's where I'm doing cartwheels.
27:43Because I would much rather have Laporta and still at this point rather have Laporta over Kittle.
27:48Some people will disagree with us on that as well.
27:51There's still plenty of upside for what Laporta is.
27:54Like Keith said, it's not anything that's a significant injury.
27:57And that's why Jameson was moved up more of a contingency.
28:01Laporta hasn't moved from either. And I think if we want to raise more money for St.
28:06Jude, I think a cartwheel contest amongst the FFT staff would have been pretty appealing.
28:11Tell Claire to put it on the list for next year.
28:15Do you think you'd be more competitive than you were at Tennis?
28:18You know, that's not fair. Do I get to finish the cartwheel competition?
28:22See my strategy throw? I'm so glad you said that.
28:26I guess I'm giving you credit. I 100% put in your position would have not acknowledged that I lost.
28:32Your entire game plan was lose set one, don't expend too much energy, win set two, win the tiebreaker because Dan's puking up pizza.
28:39And you had to quit after three games in set two.
28:43You didn't lose. This is a travesty. Oh, it's postponed.
28:46You guys should finish the match up in New Jersey, go to his home court, whatever.
28:51But you didn't lose. The match got postponed. The match got postponed.
28:55Oh, that's true. He wouldn't win because Dan wouldn't be tired.
28:58Right. But this is like a rain out in the fourth inning.
29:02And we're calling the game and giving the team that was ahead the win.
29:07It's complete nonsense. And I would not have accepted it.
29:10Can I ask you a question? No, I did.
29:13No, you didn't. You bitched and moaned the entire post-game rant.
29:16No, I said I probably would have lost, but I would have liked to have seen my strategy play out.
29:23You were more gracious than I would have been.
29:25And to be fair, I said you were going to win.
29:29You know, watching that, you had just broken his serve.
29:32I thought you were going to, to what he said, I thought you were going to execute your plan because he was a sweaty, burping mess.
29:40Yeah, man. Throwing his racket. And the best thing that happened Friday was he tried to be gracious.
29:46And then when I said that, that you were going to win, he freaked out again.
29:51Yeah. Yeah. My tennis, the tennis pro, Brad, remember he had him on last year?
29:56He called me and he's like, how are you feeling?
29:59I said, motivated. And he said, good. We're going to get him next year.
30:03No. No, and I think it's a mark on Dan's character that he accepted the victory.
30:09He deserved. I mean, look, he probably was going to win still.
30:12I wasn't playing well enough and, you know, but yeah, obviously I want to see it play out.
30:18But he's, you know, he's got a lot of excuses.
30:21He's got a lot of excuses. He's already playing the indigestion card in the first set.
30:26So, yeah, it's always going to be an excuse with him.
30:30He said that we sabotaged him on purpose, that we took him to the pizza place that he liked initially and then
30:37didn't like after he started vomiting his mouth. All right.
30:40Other risers and fallers here. Josh, you hear the burping while you're watching it?
30:44No. Oh, wait. I know what I was going to ask.
30:48What did you set the line at for games for you to win?
30:52Yeah. I think it was nine and a half.
30:55Nine and a half. Wow. You thought I was going to win.
30:59I expected you to win. I thought you were going to win the second set.
31:04And I still think you I still maintain you would have.
31:07I love it. I love the confidence. All right.
31:10Josh Downs, Jamie, a riser for you. Yeah, I think you heard me say after the Keenan Allen signing that I was
31:17just going to avoid all of it. And really, the Alec Pierce injury just continues to linger and linger and linger.
31:24So I can't get away from Josh Downs being the best Colts receiver.
31:28So all I did was basically put Downs where I had Pierce, which is in the late 30s, high 40s.
31:34It's still a situation I would prefer to avoid because I think Keenan Allen is the destroyer of all good things for fantasy the last few years.
31:43But if you're going to draft a Colts receiver first, it's got to be Downs.
31:47Do you feel that way about Tyler Warren as well, that Keenan Allen is going to destroy him?
31:53Not to the same level, no. Okay. Would you draft Sam Laporta or Josh Downs right now?
31:58I would draft Sam Laporta. Sam Laporta. And I do think it's interesting that like that whole group of tight ends, like
32:05we hit Sam Laporta's falling because he's got the hip, maybe hip point or hip bruise, something like that.
32:11We've got Tucker Craft and George Kittle coming off of the major injuries.
32:16And then it's kind of gone under the radar because the Colts are downplaying it.
32:20But Tyler Warren's got a groin injury, right? Yeah.
32:23It's supposed to be back this week, hopefully. But yes, he does.
32:27The tight end news that we got last week was that Warren and Laporta's injuries were minor, which is, you know, again, I haven't moved either one.
32:36I remember a month ago when Alec Pierce was a week away.
32:39Yeah. I remember in March when they signed up to the big deal.
32:44George Kittle's a riser and Dijon Stribling. I mean, he's making me nervous about my Mike Evans love.
32:49And so is Mike Evans. But I mean, he looks so good.
32:53I think the all 22 is insanely good just from the very few routes that he ran in preseason week two.
33:00He got open on almost all of them. And he's killing guys out there.
33:04Stribling, I mean, should he be a top 100 pick at this point?
33:08On the cusp, if not, if he's not there ready.
33:11I mean, he's getting overdrafted, which is, you know, something that happens with these preseason guys that have a lot of buzz
33:18plus good performance plus injuries around them. But again, you know, he hasn't been doing this with Evans and Kittle and Debo and Christian McCaffrey on the field.
33:27And that's something to take into account. That said, if you're betting on somebody being an injury replacement at this point, this
33:34is as good a bet as you can make because Evans continues to get banged up.
33:39But Christian Kirk may not make the final roster.
33:42Kittle, as Heath just alluded to, coming off a very significant injury, as we know.
33:47And McCaffrey's 30 coming off two huge seasons. So this could be the guy for Brock Purdy.
33:52I'm curious to see when the final ADP will be in a couple of weeks of the rookies.
33:58Because I still think Cardinal Tate will be the first rookie receiver drafted.
34:02But the competition for number two right now, I think, is between Stribling and Casey Concepcion, where I think everybody thought it
34:09was going to be Jordan Tyson and Makai Lemon.
34:12And so, like, in this redraft, obviously. But, like, which of the two, you know, guys, Concepcion being a first-round pick, so it kind of makes some sense.
34:21But, like, Stribling's been such a significant riser, it's hard to overlook what he could be.
34:26You know, again, you don't want to overvalue it because it is preseason and it is, you know, without all those other guys.
34:33But just the opportunities are fantastic. And, like, I don't think it probably means anything.
34:38And I know I'm going to say this name and everybody's probably going to laugh at me.
34:44But I do think that we've also had a couple of reports that at practice, Demarcus Robinson's still practicing ahead of Stribling with the once.
34:52Well, I'm pretty sure that... Was that Grant Cohn?
34:54No. Wait. Was Stribling off the field in three receiver sets?
34:58He may have been. I think in the preseason Week 2 game, I think Debo Samuel and Demarcus Robinson were the outside receivers.
35:05And three receiver sets Stribling was playing. However, I mean, I just feel like Stribling will overtake Demarcus Robinson.
35:11And I think even Matt Mayako in that interview with Rich Eisen said the starters are going to be Mike Evans and Dejan Stribling and Debo Samuel.
35:20I think he said that. But, man, I wish I was more certain than that.
35:25There's also a report yesterday. I mean, it's so hard to gauge these guys because, like, there was a report that said
35:32Jacob Cowling was playing over Debo Samuel. You know, so, like, I don't know what they're...
35:37how they'll line up. It just feels as if, like, they're doing everything possible to get Stribling prepared to play all three spots.
35:44And if there's an injury that occurs, he's going to be the one that benefits the most while also playing alongside those guys.
35:51You know, so I think just when you're talking about it, like, when I see him in round six and round seven,
35:58okay, that's a little bit of a reach because there are other great players going around.
36:03I'm like, there's no way I'm taking Stribling over Chris Godwin, for example.
36:07But I think, like, that's the range that he's starting to creep into, which is ridiculous.
36:12I still would take Cardinal Tate over him despite the fact that Tate's quarterback looks awful right now.
36:18And Purdy is clearly in a better spot. That being said, it's just a very crowded receiving core for the 49ers.
36:25And if everybody's healthy, he's going to be probably left out or at least left out to a degree where you're drafting him in a spot that's unrealistic.
36:34And I'm going to update my rookie rankings for those people that have their rookie drafts the last couple weekends.
36:40But I would still definitely 100% take Mikhail Lemon ahead of him.
36:44But you wouldn't take Omar Cooper ahead of him.
36:47No, I think I'll have Stribling ahead of Cooper.
36:50He's got to be a first-round pick at this point.
36:53Yeah. I mean, he was. Go ahead. Denzel Boston.
36:56I'll probably still have Boston ahead of him. So that's a great one, though.
37:00Well, here's his average draft position. Here's Stribling and some other wide receivers, their average draft position on NFC.
37:06We have PPR leagues over the last six days.
37:09So you got Josh Downs at 39. Pittman at 40.
37:12Wondell Robinson's wide receiver 41. Jaden Reed is 42.
37:15Dijon Stribling is 43. These are all top 100 picks.
37:18Casey Concepcion is 44. Alec Pierce is 45. Yeah.
37:21So, you know, what do you think about Downs, Pittman, Wondell, Jaden Reed, Stribling, Concepcion, Alec Pierce, Stefan Diggs, Matthew Gold, and Jordan Addison?
37:29Big group there. But Stribling's ADP amongst this group.
37:32So I would take all those guys over Stribling.
37:34They're fair comps in several of these, but I think if you're taking Stribling this high, you know, this is NFC?
37:41Yeah. So it's not taking into account like any potential keeper leagues.
37:45I think you're banking on the guys that are on the roster with him, not just Evans, but the guys on the roster with him missing time.
37:53And if they do, then he could significantly benefit.
37:56So if the substation works its evil magic, you know, Stribling could be a potential starter in 3-0-0 leagues.
38:02Okay. That brings us to the Fallers here. Oh, actually, no.
38:06Heath's Risers. Travis Achan, Dalton Schultz, Jalen Coker, and Dalton Kincaid.
38:09So let's talk about Achan. Yeah, I kind of focused because Jamie sent in a good list.
38:15I kind of focused on the guys that had moved since last week's preseason game.
38:20So some of these were in the period of time when there weren't any games on Tuesday and Wednesday.
38:26I think I talked a little bit about Achan last week.
38:29He is either RB13 or RB14, somewhere between 12 and 14 for me, actually, depending on Josh Jacobs and Ashton Gentey.
38:36He was a guy I was pretty worried about with the Kamara situation.
38:40And I am just even more skeptical that Alvin Kamara will be good enough to have any kind of role at all in this offense.
38:48So he's a round three pick for me now.
38:51I think I said that last week, maybe. But if you're wanting to take a running back in round three, I would
38:58take it's either going to be Gentey, Jacobs, or Achan.
39:01And it's probably going to depend on your risk tolerance.
39:04I think Achan has a higher floor than both of those guys right now.
39:08Dalton Schultz. Do you? Oh, well, hold on. Do you not have Jeremiah Love in round three at this point?
39:15I do not. Okay. Same. All right. And what's they traded for a running back?
39:20The Saints? Yeah. Big trade. You can see. No.
39:22I can't wait for this name. They traded for Zemir White.
39:26Oh, okay. No, I didn't see that. Wasn't he just signed like two weeks ago?
39:31Yes. Great move. But whoever pulled that out. Was that the 49ers?
39:3449ers, yeah. For Deion Jones. That's some elite fantasy football.
39:38That's like Acer trading to the extreme. All right.
39:41It's all the Chultz. I think we talked about this maybe at the very end of last week, but he was the
39:47biggest mover for me with the Jaden Higgins injury.
39:50He had, I think, 107 targets last year on a team that threw the ball 150 times to Christian Kirk and Jaden Higgins.
39:58And I wish it was Tank Dell, but something has really set him back and he hasn't practiced for like a week.
40:05And the beat writers have pretty much already started talking like there's no way he plays week one.
40:10Jalen Noel has hasn't Noel hasn't gotten to the point to where he's ready to be a full participant yet.
40:17There's a chance that Dalton Schultz is just this clear.
40:20I mean, he was the number two target last year, but he could have 110, 115 targets in this offense just because
40:27there's nobody besides Nico to throw to. I did move Nico up a couple of spots in my top 200.
40:33He's a clear round two pick now, but Schultz is up into that round 10 range for me.
40:39Okay. Jalen Coker and Dalton Kincaid. One more thing I wanted to say about Schultz is I think he is the absolutely
40:46perfect guy to pair with one of these injury questionable tight ends.
40:50If you're worried, your guy might not be a hundred percent for week one or might have some sort of setback.
40:56Schultz is the floor tight end that I'm targeting in that scenario.
41:00Um, Jalen Coker. I I'm encouraged by the fact that they're not just trying to play Ted Rowe McMillan more in the slot.
41:08They're also playing Jalen Coker more in the slot.
41:10I think like he's the guy who had the spectacular finish to last year that everyone's kind of ignored still, uh, like
41:17Parker Washington's now a borderline top 24 wide receiver and Michael Wilson.
41:21People are more excited about, it seems like than Jalen Coker, but I moved Jalen Coker up into round nine.
41:28I think he's a really good fourth wide receiver for you.
41:31Uh, Stribling or Coker. I would take Coker. Jamie Stribling or Coker.
41:35Um, I think that's kind of where I have it.
41:38I think I have Coker and then Stribling, but they're very close.
41:42Okay. Uh, man, it's a, it's a lot of really good and exciting wide receivers.
41:47Uh, maybe that's not the right word. Um, enticing wide receivers, you know, when you get to that point, all the names
41:54we said, Josh Downs and Jalen Coker and John Stribling and Jordan Addison and both Packers guys, not name watching.
42:00Exactly. And that deciding who to take, maybe it depends on your roster.
42:04I don't think Jocoby Myers in that range. Now I don't think Coker has the upside of some of those guys, right?
42:11I mean, well, you say that, but the last five games of the season last year, he outscored Ted Rowe and McMillan
42:18by five PPR points per game, including the playoffs.
42:21And this feels like while not a great passing offense, you're going to get concentrated targets, you know?
42:27So McMillan and Coker should dominate targets for this team, you know, with we get being the third option and the running
42:34backs, we'll see if they're significantly involved in the passing game.
42:37So the pass volume, not great, but opportunities, significant.
42:40And so, you know, Coker was kind of a darling for fantasy analysts last year, kind of the same thing again this year.
42:47Last year, he missed the first six games of the season and then that ramp up period and then it looked like
42:54the guy I think everybody was hoping to see.
42:57So I don't know if I would say there's not enough upside, but you can make a case, sir, that the other
43:04guys, you know, because of the teams that they're on are better.
43:08Yeah. Okay. Um, oh, I don't get, I don't get it with Kincaid.
43:12I mean, look at where he's going in NFC, uh, over the last six days.
43:17He's tight end 10. He's going ahead of Isaiah likely Travis Kelsey and Dallas Goddard.
43:22He is my tight end 11. So he's one.
43:24Well, um, and it's just like, it's really easy to understand why, especially.
43:29When you're talking about these, these leagues where they really are emphasizing upside and trying to beat maybe 2,500 teams instead of trying to beat 11.
43:37Dalton Kincaid was the most efficient tight end pass catcher in the NFL last year, led, led all tight ends in yards per route run.
43:45He has the pedigree from the past. The problem's always been that he can't stay healthy and he can't stay on the field.
43:52And there have been, has been a steady drum beat from Bill's beat writers that he looks better as a blocker.
43:59He's stayed healthy. I'm not sure he's missed a practice.
44:02I'm not sure if that's ever happened in his career, um, in training camp.
44:06And I just think that the, the upside, if Dalton Kincaid all of a sudden turns into a 75, 80% snap share
44:13guy in this with Josh Allen, that the upside is worth taking him in that round or at tight end 10 through 12 range.
44:21Right. But now he has DJ more. So who, who is he?
44:25Who is he ahead of for you? Is he ahead of Kelsey?
44:29Um, he is ahead of Goddard. Goddard. Okay. But not ahead of likely.
44:33Uh, not right now. I'm it's gonna, it's gonna be really funny if Dalton Kincaid has a higher snap share than Isaiah
44:40likely, because if you told me that, if he told me that was going to happen, I pro I would have him ahead of likely.
44:48Cause he has a better quarterback. He's in a better offense.
44:51Um, yeah, I don't think it's outrageous to take him ahead of likely.
44:55Yeah. Well, neighbors hasn't played yet, obviously, but just, you know, not disagreeing with Heath, but neighbors hasn't played yet.
45:02But every single time I read a giants report, it's they keep throwing to Isaiah likely, likely, likely, likely, you know, I
45:09think he's clearly going to, well, I think he'll be the number two target on the giants with, with Nate when neighbors comes back.
45:16And if neighbors is out anytime, he'll be the number one guy.
45:20I think you don't think that Kincaid could be number two on the bills.
45:24Not, I mean, I think it'll be shit. Yeah.
45:27I don't suppose. I don't think that DJ Moore is going to demand the same target share as Malik neighbors either.
45:34Uh, yeah, like a healthy neighbors. No, I don't know what to expect from neighbors.
45:39I don't know. I don't think he's going to be like a 10 target guy.
45:43If he were, he's going too late in round three.
45:47All right. So the thing that that's in his favor right now is you got both secure and Keon Coleman dealing with injuries.
45:54And so that could help. Plus they're trying to improve his work as a blocker, keep him on the field.
46:00Yeah. All right. Let's get, uh, let's get to some fallers, but we'll, first we'll take a break.
46:06When we come back, we'll tell you why Ty.
46:09Well, I think you probably know why Tyrone Tracy is falling, but Jackson Dart is also falling in the rankings.

48:04USPS Ground Advantage. We mean business. That little football promo we just ran on YouTube really fired me up.
48:10Let's go. First time you see it? I think so.
48:13That was awesome. I'm really excited for football now.
48:16Okay. Tyrone Tracy and Kyle Monongai are two followers for Heath, perhaps for different reasons.
48:21What do we got? Yeah, it's funny. I had Tyrone Tracy as a follower and had dropped him out of the first 10 rounds.
48:29And then as I'm looking at my rankings this morning, I'm like, there's this huge group.
48:34And there's different levels to this. But the Marshawn Lloyds, the Tyler Algiers, the Jonah Colmans, the Braylon Allens, like all these handcuffed running backs.
48:42I don't want to take Tyrone Tracy ahead of any of those guys.
48:46I'm no longer sure that he has a higher floor than those guys, which I thought he would definitely have.
48:52And I don't think he has anywhere close to the same upside as those guys.
48:57It's possible he doesn't even have a role if Najee Harris is what we thought he was going to be.
49:03I'm not sure you need to draft Tyrone Tracy, but if you do, I wouldn't do it before round 14.
49:10Yeah, totally feel that. And what about Kyle Monongai?
49:12I just moved him a little bit for now, but I do think like he's behind Blake Corum.
49:18Now I had him ahead of Blake Corum. I'd already moved Jonathan Brooks ahead of both of them.
49:24I've got Bill. I've got RJ Harvey ahead of him.
49:27I think like when you're talking about a backup running back who may not be healthy for week one and may not
49:34be as effective early in the season, we just can't draft that guy to have too high.
49:39So he's, he's like around nine, 10 pick for me now.
49:43And if we look at, did you move DeAndre Swift up?
49:46I'm already quite a bit ahead of consensus on DeAndre Swift.
49:50He's around three, four pick for me, like four, but very, very early in round four.
49:55So I, I haven't, I moved him up for about two hours last night.
49:59Um, Oh, it's Jenti. Jenti was behind him. So let me, all right, just real quick.
50:05Give me a, give me a round for Swift.
50:07Four. Four. He just said. Yeah. I thought so too, but I, I thought that's what he said.
50:13Jamie, give me a round for, for, uh, Swift.
50:16Exactly where Heath is. I would consider him in round three, but round four.
50:20Okay. So that I saw this comment distracted me.
50:23Sorry. Uh, Moonzo man says, I am out on the giants backfield right now.
50:28Is that an overreaction? I mean, I'm out on it.
50:31If I have to take Scadaboo in round three, because I don't really want to target any of the backup guys.
50:38Like I have Scadaboo in early round five, you know, so like I, I'm, I'm probably not going to get much of Scadaboo.
50:45Uh, Tracy was the one that I was drafting the most of because of where his ADP was, or at least his
50:52draft value was, you know, the, the last few weeks, uh, prior to the missed block, you know, poor play call, whatever,
50:59you know, you, however you want to define it where he got dart where dark, I hurt.
51:04I don't think it's all on Tracy and then the fumble, but also look, they, they signed Najee Harris for a reason,
51:11you know, whether that's to be the third guy or the second guy or maybe even the starter, you know?
51:18So he's, he's in a bad spot. I think he's nailed it.
51:21You know, you're just, you're looking at him as a very late round.
51:26Maybe he could still be the guy. Look, this could be a gente out for X amount of games.
51:32Somebody out for X amount of games. They trade him.
51:35Who? The giants trade Tracy. Oh, Tracy. Oh, I was like, I thought Scadaboo.
51:39No, I think at cost, we are out on the giants backfield.
51:43Yeah. But if he gets to round five, I've been kind of out on Scadaboo all along.
51:48Cause you know, I just afraid of these guys coming off these horrible injuries and he's not a big play guy.
51:55He just scored a lot of touchdowns. And he had a ton of catches on pace for 60 catches in the, in his normal snap share games.
52:04He had two games where he barely played, but normal snap share.
52:07He was on pace for 60 catches based on what we've seen in the preseason.
52:12They are not using him in that role. They are not using him as their third down back right now.
52:19It has been Tyrone Tracy. So I don't think the catches are going to be there.
52:24Plus neighbors wasn't playing last year when he had those 60 catches, although Wondale was, um, but start to get to round five.
52:31Like I said, on, on, um, our pace for 60 catches on pace.
52:35Yeah. If I said on CBS sports network, if the giants look at cam Scadaboo, Tyrone Tracy, Devin Singletary and Najee Harris,
52:42and they don't go, we have got to give the ball to cam Scadaboo a lot.
52:47Then they're idiots. These other guys are not starting NFL running backs.
52:51They're not at least Scadaboo has a chance to be that.
52:54And let's not forget. He was amazing last year.
52:57Now, again, I have been the low guy on him, but I think it might get to the point where people are so down on him.
53:06Like this guy saying I'm out on the giants backfield.
53:09He was so good last year. And Jamie, that transitions to your fallers here because Jackson dart, like I'm in a 14
53:16team, you know, quote unquote experts league, the flex best ball draft.
53:20And it's a four point per passing touchdown league.
53:22And I took dart as my second quarterback. Uh, I think I took Dak Prescott as my first, but nobody seemed to want to take Jackson dart.
53:31Nobody likes him right now. He's a faller for you and I get it, but we have to balance it with the fact that he was so good.
53:40He's not going to be aesthetically pleasing, but he was so good last year.
53:44And he, um, I don't know, is he going to fall too much?
53:48Where do you have Jackson dart? 14, but I was relatively the high guy on him.
53:53I think I had him at 10 or 11.
53:56Um, I think it was 11 prior to this.
53:59So as I said, you know, I just kind of flipped the, the, the two guys around in terms of purdy and, and dart.
54:07And really it's just a matter of like, where's the upside play.
54:11So I think dart still has plenty of upside.
54:14It's just a matter of how many rushing touchdowns will he score?
54:17How much will his rushing production, you know, be limited because the giants want to make sure he's healthy.
54:23Plus, as we've talked about a lot, you know what they seemingly want to be, which I think adding a guy like
54:30Najee Harris speaks to that is ball control, not necessarily have to play in these frenetic comeback situations.
54:36Like we saw last year. I just don't know if dart gets back to that level of play.
54:42So like when we talk about, and I don't want to put this on him, but like, you know, CJ Stroud's regression
54:49from his great rookie season to what he's become, you know, just really the step back as a, as a sophomore.
54:55I think we can see a little bit of that from dart.
54:59I don't think he's going to, you know, fail as much, but, um, when you start to get into those number two
55:06quarterbacks, depending on what rank list you look like, but I think really just more like, you know, staring at ADP, you
55:13know, so my homes is QB 13. So I think with him is where it kind of comes into the conversation.
55:20So my homes, uh, golf, Knicks, Kyler, uh, I think Shuck is, is high for Heath.
55:25Um, you know, some of those guys that have Jordan love, you know, you want to throw them in that conversation, you
55:32know, some of those guys that like, where's the upside play.
55:35I think dart is kind of closer to that group than he is to like Trevor Lawrence, Caleb Williams, you know, those
55:42guys that can really take a step forward in, in 2026.
55:46Okay. And other fallers for Jamie, and we have to also get to the people who are falling in CBS ADP, but
55:53we've got Ashton Gentty, obviously Mike Evans, Alec Pierce, who's injured in Jalen Naylor, not having a good start to his, uh, radar tenure undraftable Jalen Naylor.
56:01Wow. Um, Mike Evans though, what is, what are we doing with him?
56:06So, you know, I, a lot of, you know, some of what I said is just core corresponding moves, but, um, that
56:13group of receivers for me, which was kind of late round five, which was, um, which is Mike Evans, Parker Washington, Jameson Williams, Romo Dunze, Christian Watson.
56:21I just put Evans at the back end of that group.
56:25Just, I mean, how many injuries is he going to fight through, deal with, get frustrated over, um, in this offense right now.
56:32And now you're seeing another player emerging in shriveling and the return of Kittle.
56:36And so I still think there's a ton of upside.
56:40I agree with you. You know, we did the, your, your guys, you're all in guys.
56:45I think that was a fair point you made about what he could be.
56:49It would not shock me if he has the seventh season in his career of a thousand yards receiving and 10 touchdowns
56:56that's on the table for him, but it may not be the totality of his numbers.
57:01It may be, he's projected to do this because of all the games he might miss.
57:06So still could lead the 49ers in target. Still could be the guy for Brock party.
57:11Still could be the Juwan Jennings where he scores nine touchdowns as Jenny's did last year.
57:16Yeah. But it's just getting frustrating to watch all of these things add up for him and knowing that each of the
57:23last two years, he's missed significant time. I think he's going to end up in round six at this point, or at
57:30least if we were drafting today, because you look at NFC ADP, if you're seeing it on the screen here over the
57:37last six days, Mike Evans is 56th overall. That's round five.
57:41He's wide receiver 30, but he's the last wide receiver in round five.
57:45And he just got this hamstring injury and I've seen his ADP on other sites be in round six.
57:51I don't want to take him in round five right now, but round six, I think worth the risk.
57:57That's the thing. Like you got to look at upside here.
58:01Is it worth the risk? So let me ask you, would you take any of the guys after Mike Evans in this list that we're looking at?
58:09Would you take them ahead of Mike Evans? Carnell Tate?
58:12No, no. Marvin Harrison Jr. Yes. That's the back-to-back guys for me.
58:16I would still take Evans. Brian Thomas Jr. No.
58:19Yes. Chris Godwin. No. All right. We'll stop there.
58:22And that's it. Alec Pierce, top 100 pick? No.
58:25No. Okay. Top 120? Yes. Yes. All right. Well, thank you to Whoop for sponsoring this week's Risers and Fallers.

59:00You just go to our CBS ADP and you can see the arrows pointing up or down.
59:06David Montgomery is up five spots to 51st overall.
59:09We talked about him. DJ Moore is up four spots, but he's still only 58th overall on CBS, DJ Moore.
59:15And he's 41st on NFC since August 18th. Again, wide receivers go very early, but he's just after Ted Arold McMillan.
59:22So that means DJ Moore on NFC. He's right after that group of Garrett Wilson and Zay Flowers and Ladd McConkie and Ted Arold McMillan, etc.
59:30I feel like Jamie's there with him, with DJ Moore.
59:33Heath, how about you? I am not where NFC is.
59:36I am ahead of where CBS is. So I think I have him 52nd.
59:41So happy to draft him in round five, not drafting him in round four.
59:45Okay. I said he's up four spots right now.
59:48I'm seeing he's up seven spots. Oh, no, I'm sorry.
59:51I'm looking at non-PPR. Pardon me. So yeah, that was right.
59:55He's up DJ Moore up four spots in ADP.
59:57And that let's go to Jadarian Price, Jamie. He is now kind of where Mike Evans is right at the 5-6 turn.
60:0459th overall. Jadarian Price is up four spots. Do you think, would you take him or Bejal Tootin?
60:10Struggle with those two. Right now I have Tootin ranked ahead.
60:14I think the fact that he's gotten some passing downs work in practice, significant passing down work in practice with LaQuint Allen out is positive.
60:22Look, Price is a gamble really on Zach Charbonnet because if Charbonnet is going to return early in the season, then that's
60:29going to be a problem for Jadarian Price. I think if there's the expectation that we had of Charbonnet missing the first
60:36half of the year, then Price could be awesome and well worth those costs and probably undervalued.
60:41So you know what the Seahawks, I think, still want to be, which is control the clock and lean on their ground game.
60:48And Price is a first-round talent. And hopefully that all matters.
60:52But he's still a guy that shared in college and didn't have a hefty workload, already has been a little bit banged up in camp.
61:00And I know that anytime you hear the name George Helani, it's not about Helani being better than Price.
61:06That's never the issue. It's about another player just being used in the backfield that they might want to give touch to.
61:13And that could easily be Emmanuel Wilson. You know, it doesn't necessarily have to be George Helani.
61:18It just seems like he's the guy that's ahead.
61:21But I just think that Price is, no pun intended, Price right.
61:25You know, he's a good late round five, early round six selection, low-end number two running back.
61:30If you like him, I think the range of running backs that he should be grouped with is like even as high
61:37as like, not an 80 people, like Scadaboo, Judkins, Montgomery, Irving, that group, he belongs in it.
61:43I, yeah, I think I do have Jadarian Price and Mike Evans back to back, but I'm about a round or round
61:50and a half behind on both of them. And I think they're, the similarity they have is that for as long as
61:57Mike Evans is healthy, you're going to have to deal with people victory lapping the fact that you were too low on Mike Evans.
62:04And until Zach Charbonnet comes back, going to have to deal with people victory lapping that I was too low on Jadarian Price.
62:11I just don't like, maybe I'll feel differently and more information will come out about Charbonnet, but the, the talk about him
62:18coming back early in the season has made me more concerned that he's going to be himself in the middle of the season.
62:26And I don't like drafting Price where he's going with the idea that, yeah, he's going to get me off to a
62:33great start, but then the most important part of the fantasy football season, he's going to, at the very least, going to
62:40be losing what Ken Walker lost to Charbonnet last year.
62:43Okay. Fair enough. Because I think that's, people were thinking like, all right, Charbonnet might be back, but what does that mean?
62:50He's coming off a torn ACL in, in January, but you're, I'd like the way you frame that there, that he's making progress.
62:57I just took him in a draft last week when we were together, the draft I was doing Adam.
63:03So yeah, so I took him as my third running back behind James Cook and David Montgomery.
63:09So I, and I think I went Montgomery and Price back to backgrounds.
63:13I also took Jadari and Price last week in a, in a 14 team league.
63:18I took him as my number two running back 65th overall, one spot ahead of Jonathan Brooks.
63:23So Brooks was the next pick and he is also one of our risers.
63:27He's up nine spots to 88th overall, but that's the thing.
63:31Like Jonathan Brooks is not going to go 88th overall.
63:34He's going to go earlier than that now. And over the last six days on NFC, he's 68th overall in the draft.
63:41I just mentioned, he went 66th overall. So Heath, you like Jonathan Brooks, Jalen Warren or Amandre Stevenson.
63:47That's kind of where he's going right now. What do you think?
63:51I hate how this has transpired because I loved, loved, loved Jonathan Brooks all summer.
63:55And I'm afraid that the steam has gone a little bit too far.
63:59Um, so I, I've got him ahead of where his 80 piece currently is, but I would not take him in the sixties.
64:07Um, so I'm, I'm still a little bit lower.
64:10Like Chuba's injury is giving Brooks an opportunity, but I still think we're kind of looking at the same thing at the
64:17start of the season that we probably were. So we had this, you know, weird situation unfold last night with Ashton Gentry
64:24with not knowing any information and people doing drafts.
64:26And it's going to continue to happen over the next couple of weeks of, oh, look, I got Jonathan Brooks in round six.
64:34Oh no. Chuba Hubbard back at practice the next day.
64:37Oh, look, I got Darian Price in round six.
64:40Oh no. Zach Charbonnet is going to play in week four.
64:43Or I got Luther Burden in round whatever, or I got Roland Duns in round whatever.
64:48Luther Burden's back already. You know, like these injuries are going to change a lot of the scenarios and a lot of
64:55the landscapes of some of these teams and some of these players positively or negatively.
65:00Like you're going to get some good values. You know, I think Jeremiah Love could fall to a spot where it's like, I can't pass him up.
65:09And then, oh yeah, look, he's playing week one.
65:12So I may not have to start him week one, but by week four, he's, he's great.
65:17Like, you know, so you just have to understand, like when you're taking some of these guys that are, are in undefined
65:24scenarios still because of injured teammates, it could really alter what the season long look like season long outlook looks like.
65:31Okay. And you, you got like such a Simpsons quote in there, like kind of with your, oh no, but I can't remember what it is.
65:39Like, I can't say it. Damn it. It was when Homer fakes his death.
65:43Um, anyway, uh, that's Jonathan Brooks. Okay. So Jonathan Brooks, you see him here behind the Broncos guys.
65:49I think it's easy to take him ahead of them.
65:52Yep. But yeah. Who else? Uh, Rico Dowdle or Jonathan Brooks?
65:56Brooks. It's Dowdle for me. Travion Henderson or Brooks?
65:59Brooks for me. Henderson for me. One of the things about Brooks is like, he hasn't really played that much in the
66:05preseason, but no, the Panthers first team offense hasn't looked that great.
66:09So I still don't know what kind of rusher he is coming off these injuries.
66:14Uh, fallers and CBS rankings, a Mecca Buka is down five spots.
66:18He's now 43rd overall, still ahead of Lamar Jackson and Tedderall McMillan, but 43rd overall for, for a Mecca Buka.
66:24I think he's trending in the right direction for week one with the toe injury.
66:29Uh, Heath, when would you take a Mecca Buka?
66:32I've got him at 37. So early round four is right where I would take him.
66:37If you had him, like if you thought a Mecca Buka was going to be this year's breakout wide receiver and ahead
66:44of everybody, you know, Zay Flowers and McMillan and Wilson, blah, blah, blah.
66:48That range I keep talking about. Do we, are we comfortable enough putting him back there with, in terms of the injury
66:55or we still have to be cautious with a Buka?
66:58Yeah. I don't know why you'd put Zay Flowers and Garrett Wilson in the same group, but that's where they are.
67:05That's why. In ADP. I think, I think you're probably going to get a little discount just because of the, the, the
67:12red cross or the white cross with the red outline.
67:15So late round three. A Buka 100% healthy would be a mid round three pick and I would take him ahead of Flowers and Garrett Wilson.
67:23Right. But that's the thing. Like, do we know if he's a hundred percent right now?
67:28He should go after those guys. Okay. Uh, Tyler Warren down eight spots to 59th overall.
67:33Again, this is where you can start taking advantage of the little red, you know, plus or cross, whatever it is that
67:40the injured sign, because I don't think Tyler Warren should be going 59th overall.
67:45He's 57th. He could have fallen. He could have fallen a little bit due to the Keenan Allen signing.
67:51Maybe. Um, because Allen does work in the same area of the field as Warren and whether we like it or not,
67:58he's continued to earn targets at a pretty high rate the last two years.
68:02Do, does anybody on the team not work in that same area?
68:06The guy who's hurt. Right. Exactly. Um, what else we got?
68:10Uh, Sam Laporta down to 78th. We talked about him earlier and RJ Harvey is down 10 spots to 87th overall.
68:16You know, RJ Harvey has basically worked exclusively with the first team in the two preseason games.
68:22Like he's plays pretty much every snap and then they bring in Jonah Coleman.
68:26I don't, I don't think I want to draft JK Dobbins.
68:30I don't think it's going to be the same as last year.
68:33I kind of feel like they're going to mix in Harvey more than they did.
68:38JK Dobbins might, might be Jadarian price. In what regard?
68:41He could be as good as him. Yeah. He gets you off to a very good start.
68:47He's a clear lead back and then price loses it because Charbonnet comes back and Dobbins.
68:52I don't want to say it. I still don't mind Dobbins.
68:55I think he's in that range of running backs where it's, it's still fine.
69:00But should he go ahead of RJ Harvey? Should Dobbins go ahead of RJ Harvey?
69:05Yeah. I have Dobbins just ahead of Harvey, but I have Harvey ahead of his ADP.
69:10Okay. And he's falling in ADP right now to 87th.
69:13And Makai Lemon is down 12 spots to 130th overall.
69:16Again, he's injured, but that's pretty good value. If you can get Makai Lemon at 120th, he is going 109th on NFC.
69:23Should, should we take Makai Lemon 109th? No, I've got him 114th.
69:27Okay. I have more news and notes and preseason thoughts.
69:30I'm going to save it for tomorrow. Also get a lot of good questions here.
69:35Just in case anything's relevant to. I did all the big news earlier, but sure.
69:40Parker Washington returned to practice. Jacoby Myers is still.
69:42So yeah, but it, but nobody was like changing anything.
69:46Can I just, I know you're trying to get out of here, but I will say I last night in my draft
69:53for the first time this off season, I drafted cars, Parker Washington.
69:56Um, and I did it just before Christian Watson and Marvin Harrison Jr.
70:00And I felt stupid for the next hour. And so I just really hope you guys are right.
70:06Not you guys, but like the world and the Parker Washington hype.
70:10Cause I, I'm still not there, but I didn't want to have zero Parker.
70:14Washington teams. Nick Chubb retired Cleveland defensive end. Alex, right.
70:18Is out for the season with a torn Achilles.
70:21That's not good. Chargers running back. Keaton Mitchell seems to be the number two running back on the team.
70:27He missed practice. Torrey Horton with the Seahawks. He's out indefinitely with an undisclosed injury.
70:31Very vague there. Jake Bobo is more of a special teams guy.
70:35He's out for the season. Houston signs a Jones, John Mishota of the athletics thinks that of the athletic thinks that Malik
70:42Davis will start the season as Dallas is number two running back.
70:46And the Rams are seemingly looking to get Terrence Ferguson, their second year tight end more involved.
70:51That is good to see. We have to talk about Cam Ward and how bad this Titans offense has looked.
70:58I mean, this is the team that is going starters against backups and sucking in the preseason.
71:03It's bad. We'll talk about that tomorrow. Plus more on fantasy football today.
71:07Thanks for watching and listening. Everybody. We'll talk to you tomorrow.
