0:00If you look at the last eight games that Jaylen Coker and Tater Tot McMillan have played together, it brings me no
0:05pleasure to report this as someone who's really not been a huge Coker guy, but Coker has mugged him targets per route
0:11run. Actually has the higher average depth of target, which I don't think you would expect either. Like in my mind, Adam, Jaylen Coker is just kind of like
0:18a slot, you know, you give him the screens. He's kind of like the He would be the the Luther Burden or whatever,
0:25and then Tet would be like a good version of Rome if you can imagine a good version of Romeo Doubs, you could
0:30say, you know, playing a little bit closer to the line of scrimmage. The pricing discrepancy on DraftKings remains $6,100 Jaylen Coker, $7,100
0:39Tet. Do you think that we should scale up the expected share of touchdowns for Coker? Cuz that's been one of the
0:46interesting things is like all the scramble drill, like Bryce kind of like making stuff happen, those tend to be Coker plays and not T-Mac plays.
0:56>> Yeah, I mean I think it makes sense if there's like a wide gap between them on volume right now, but um
1:02yeah, like I don't think it's it's not like we've seen McMillan, you know, dominating red zone targets or anything. Um >> [snorts]
1:10>> We have them pretty close right now, 27 on McMillan, 22 on Coker. Like that's pretty much in line with how target share is being projected,
1:18which I think is fine.
1:19>> Yeah. Yeah, I and I actually think it is relatively interesting to like it would maybe not relatively interesting, relatively important in the in the
1:29context of the week because there is just not too much value out there. Like you're going to see as you get through
1:36the slate, you're like, "Man, if I can get a guy who's like 2.8x his salary or whatever in terms of the fantasy points,
1:43that's going to project pretty strong."
1:45And And I would actually think that Coker is going to end up getting relatively owned in this slate. On the Buccaneers side of the game, I mean, I
1:53guess the only thing is is there room to mark up Bucky Irving anymore? It was like 62 snaps last week to eight. Sean
2:01Tucker did not play last week. He might end up playing this week. And we haven't even seen I guess maybe the more
2:07interesting thing is we haven't even really seen Gainwell play too much in the passing game. They've actually given more of that stuff than I would have
2:13anticipated. And again, not a slate with a ton of value. So like a few small tweaks like if we got Bucky to 65% of
2:21the rushes and 9% of the targets, that all of a sudden does actually probably probably have him looking like one of the better values of
2:29the slate.
2:30>> Yeah, I mean I think obviously Sean Tucker matters a lot. But I think you and I had talked about it on the show
2:35like a few weeks ago that back when Tucker was not being involved like Irving's efficiency isn't necessarily there, but he's just absolutely
2:45dominating touches over Kenny Gainwell.
2:48You know, last week you had 19 carries for Irving to two for Gainwell. If you go back to the you know, first three weeks of the
2:56season it was 15 to three, 17 to two.
2:58Week one was eight to five. That was I guess more in line with like what people expected coming into the season. But
3:04it's really turned into one of those situations where like it doesn't feel comfortable to just throw 65% at Bucky Irving. But based on what the Bucks are
3:13doing, I don't really think there's anything else you can do. And then like you said also, it's not even like Gainwell is dominating
3:19targets or route participation. Like his highest route participation of the season was week five at 42%. Last week was his lowest at 15%. That coincided
3:29with Bucky's highest at 62%. Like he's running as many if not more routes than Gainwell every single week and he's dominating touches.
3:36>> Yeah. And it's not like it's not a great match up. It's it's not like a negative match up. Also sounds like Baker is
3:42going to start this week. He returned to practice today literally as we're recording this. I just saw a video of him out throwing around. So that is
3:50I mean one you're going to have just a greater amount of drop backs turning into pass attempts for the team because Baker's
3:57just going to be much less likely to scramble than Jaylen Daniels is and also you would just expect the team to be a
4:02little bit better. You know, first first, you know, it's it's been sort of entertaining to see the Jaylen Daniels bit play out in real time but Baker is
4:11certainly much better than him. So I I think right now I would be trending towards Bucky yeah being closer like 65% of the rushes 8 9
4:1910% of the targets cuz the Gainwell has really gone down. Now >> That's what we have by the way if you
4:27were >> Yes, I just I just refreshed so >> And yet to your point about Mayfield too like I I pulled it up while you were
4:33talking but if you look at the target share for the Bucks running backs like 28% combined week one it was 25 to Irvin
4:4224-ish combined week two 25% combined week three and then you get 7% combined week four 24 week five nine last week
4:52you should expect more targets for Bucky with Mayfield.
4:57>> Yeah, 100% This is going to be the most annoying thing for the run the Sims team to figure out this week but where is the
5:04ball going to go when the San Francisco 49ers drop back to pass. So after Mike Evans left injured last week no 49ers
5:13wide receiver caught a pass. Brandon Cooks didn't catch pass Watkins, Calloway, Malik Turner none of these guys Christian Kirk was close he had
5:22returned to practice last week was close to returning. I mean Christian Kirk is probably the best target earning receiver of those guys they're they're
5:29not going to have any of their top four guys so no Demarcus Robinson, no Stribling, no Debo, no Mike Evans for
5:36this game against Atlanta. Worth noting this is also like a dome game with a super high total so it's actually pretty
5:43important to figure this out.
5:46I mean I can't see projecting Brandin Cooks for a crazy role. Obviously, Kittle is going to project insane.
5:53McCaffrey is going to project insane in this spot. My gut instinct is 15, 16, 17% something like that for Christian Kirk in his first game back
6:04assuming we get a good report about like, "Oh, he's good to go. Like, they're going to try and play him full
6:09snaps or whatever." If they If we get the opposite report like, "Kirk is going to be active, but they're going to watch
6:14his reps or whatever." then maybe uh diminish it then that. But, I I'm looking at this thing. I think Christian Kirk is going to be like a really,
6:22really good play against Atlanta.
6:24>> I don't know. Um my concerns are one that he didn't come back last week. Like, he wasn't ready to come back last week.
6:33Makes me kind of question how big of a role will he have his first week back.
6:37Like, is he actually going to be one of these guys that just comes off IR and immediately steps into like a starting
6:41type role or is he going to be eased in a little bit? And then the other is they need to replace Evans I mean, they need
6:49to replace all their routes obviously.
6:50But, like like for every receiver on their team. But, for like Evans specifically, you're talking about a lot of like outside routes and Cooks being
6:57his direct backup essentially. Like, you had Watkins start and play alongside Evans last game. Um but, in the second half with Evans out, you had 80% I just
7:07lost him. You had 80% route participation for Cooks. You had 80% I think for Watkins. Uh like you said, you know, no receptions I don't think. But,
7:16um I think there's a pretty good chance that it's like Cooks and Watkins running a bunch of routes with like Kirk in the slot,
7:26you know, running like 50% or something like that in his first game back.
7:30>> Right. I mean, the pushback that I would provide on that is Cooks is just not going to be a target earner, whereas I
7:39actually would anticipate Kirk being I mean, it's actually I had completely forgotten this until I started looking at my redraft stuff for this week. Christian
7:47Kirk had a 30 ball for the Texans in the playoffs last year.
7:52Like the last time we saw Christian Kirk on a football field, he absolutely lit up a team in the postseason. Like I I
7:58mean, you know, whereas like the most recent iterations of Brandon Cooks we've seen is him just, you know, looking like Dez Bryant in a in a Ravens jersey. Just
8:06like, you know, totally doing totally doing nothing out there. And an additional reason to be in on Kirk and why I think he might sim quite well is
8:14because Kittle and CMC are going to pull massive massive massive massive massive ownership.
8:20Maybe even a little bit less Kittle actually. We'll talk about that with with Gibbs a little bit later, but I I
8:25would say right now getting to Sunday morning, if we if we get a real good if we get a real good report on Kirk, I I'm
8:35going to do my run with him at like a 16% target share and take a lot of that away from Brandon Cooks cuz
8:43in in these situations in the past historically what Shanahan does is he just funnels the ball to his best players. Like a good good coach, right?
8:52Kyle Shanahan, great coach.
8:54So we've had, you know, random but we also have had random Richie James and like Kendrick Bourne games. Remember the Richie James 11 for 185 game against the
9:03Packers? To me, that's Kirk. That's not Cooks. It's like, okay, get him on like a lot of crossers, some more horizontal
9:10stuff. Whereas like Cooks to me, he's like the D-Rob. Like he's like the okay, maybe he catches a 47-yarder maybe he
9:18doesn't.
9:19>> Yeah. I mean, I think also and you you alluded to it, too. The most likely answer here is probably you should just
9:24be playing more George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey. Like they're going to get the ball more. Um even if you look at last game over over the course
9:31of the entire game, not even just looking at the second half with Evans out, 28% target share for Kittle, his highest of the year. 35% for McCaffrey,
9:38his highest of the year. They were just spamming the ball to McCaffrey all game.
9:41Um you know, he's somebody that McCaffrey, you know, you would expect to benefit with Deebo out anyway, just as being like the
9:47underneath target. Um you could certainly just see a lot more emphasis on Kittle as well.
9:54Um so yeah, like I think I'm with you.
9:55Like the practice reports on Kirk, I think mean a lot here, because anything that you can get And the thing is like Shanahan's
10:01probably not really going to give you much, but anything you can get with confidence as far as just like how healthy is Kirk, how much
10:09can he play like conditioning-wise and all of that. Um because yeah, like if you if you tell me that he runs
10:15similar route, like, you know, 60% of routes even to like Cooks' 80%, I'd rather have Kirk. Um it's just like is Kirk going to be out there, you know,
10:24oh yeah, he's in on third down and that's it. Or is it going to be like, oh, he's actually like running all the slot routes.
10:32>> I I would say if he's active and playing, it's it's likely going to be as a full-time role. He will replace Jacob
10:40Cowing is what's going to happen. So he'll only he'll only really play in like 11, but that is fine. That I think
10:47that I think for for the price and the role, I think it's fine.
10:50>> Yeah, I don't know. Like if he's I mean Cowing runs like 40% of routes. Like if that's what Kirk's doing, I would rather
10:55just not have any of the Niners receivers and have a ton of Kittle and a ton of McCaffrey.
11:01>> Yeah. Yeah, that's valid. Uh all right, really nothing to talk about on the Cincinnati side. I I guess maybe slightly like is would you want to trim
11:10Chase Brown back from this coming off their bye week. We did see him replaced after a fumble. My sense is 59% of the
11:17rushes, 14% of the targets. That's that's kind of just the Chase Brown projection. I I wouldn't really want to do too much with him there.
11:24>> Yeah, I think I think that's fine. Like it's not like he's you know, a rookie or somebody that you're expecting to really lose much.
11:30>> Well, you know what? Actually, on the side of this game, I I thought we could breeze past this, but Rashod Bateman's
11:36probably not going to play with this shoulder injury. James Robinson Lane came back and saw the second most targets on the team last week. Part of
11:42Mark Andrews just cannot earn any targets.
11:45I It looks like Lamar is not going to practice today, so it's probably going to be Huntley. But, I mean, $3,400 James
11:52Robinson Lane, J.K. Dobbins is $9,800 on this slate and projects I think he's five points higher than every other player on this slate right now. So,
12:01again, if you're if you're not a Christian Kirk guy, can I can I sell you on getting James Robinson Lane up to 16%
12:07of the targets? Like, would that make him interesting to you?
12:10>> Yeah. Um and I mean, I think he's an interesting one, too, just because like you're not grabbing some obscure guy
12:15that they weren't trying to give a role and then like projecting him for a role.
12:18He was very involved week one before he got hurt. And then he came back last week, he was involved. Um I think that,
12:25you know, again, obviously the Ravens wide receiver two is never like super appealing, but um yeah, I do think he actually is capable of earning
12:35targets and I do think he's ahead of, you know, if if we're assuming Bateman's not going to play, I certainly think
12:40Lane's ahead of every other wide receiver that isn't Zay Flowers.
12:44>> Yes. Yeah. I I would be inclined, if no Bateman, yeah, to to think I mean, it's a it's a pretty good role like
12:54Bengals are little bit of a little bit of a like a a decent run defense. And then another interesting one, I guess,
13:00is So, Hayden Hurst is injured. Mark Andrews played a ton the two games Hayden Hurst injured his hands two games ago.
13:09Josh Oliver had the second most It was tied with James Robinson Lane for the second most targets on the team last
13:14week. I mean, I don't think I could get to him being playable, but that is just something to note that the last two
13:20games the Andrews target share has gone down and the Oliver target share has gone I think Oliver scored last week, too, I believe.
13:27>> Yeah, he did. Um yeah, he's I I kind of like noted him I don't know when the Ravens next uh
13:33primetime game is, but I had kind of been keeping an eye on Quevos. Like uh route participation's gone up 3 weeks in
13:38a row. He got in the end zone last week.
13:40They're actually throwing to him a little bit when he is on the field.
13:43>> Yeah. I So, I mean, if you're doing first touchdown bets or anything like that, uh check do do a little price
13:49check on Josh Quevos.
13:52Miami I mean, I guess a continual debate between how much do you slide from Jaylen Wright to Ali Gordon? How do you
13:58count for the in-game variance there?
14:00Sounds like Caleb Douglas is going to be back from his ankle injury this week. He had been significantly eating into Malik
14:09Washington. And I actually just want to make this point because the last game the Dolphins played, I kept getting infinity Malik Washington in my runs in
14:17in my sim runs. So, I would like to bump him down from 24% to about 21% and go I like I just enough that enough that we
14:28are not getting Malik Washington as the the primary cheap receiver.
14:33>> Yeah, I I think the really the issue with Malik Washington like I think the target share is fine. It's that it's so
14:39difficult to actually project the Dolphins offense to like get as few yards as they're going to get because like Washington for this he hasn't had a
14:50target share below 22 22% this year.
14:52He's been above 27% for 3 weeks out of five. So, like from projecting how often he's going to get the ball, I think it's fine even with
15:02with Douglas back, but like it's just a matter of targets on the Dolphins are worth so much less than targets on like any other
15:09functioning NFL team.
15:11>> Yeah. Yeah. That that works.
15:13>> So, like it's a situation like there's not a lot of situations where like I am particularly inclined to just change
15:20numbers until what I want to happen happens. Um, he is one where like I could just do it.
15:26>> are we too high on the Dolphins passing offense in terms of efficiency? Are we giving them like 5.8 YPA when it should
15:35be like 5.2 YPA?
15:38>> My I mean, my guess is probably because any sort of like regressing to any sort of averages you do is going to pull up
15:45>> regression is making them look way better than they actually are on the >> Yeah, exactly.
15:49>> Yeah. Yeah.
15:51Um, so I would I would I would encourage >> why it's a spot where like I would really if if you're getting a lot of
15:55Malik Washington and you don't want Malik Washington, just keep lowering the number until you're getting less Malik Washington. Like there's not many
16:02situations where I ever recommend doing that. Um, this is one where it's just such an unusually
16:12bad offense that I'd be fine with it.
16:14>> Yeah.
16:15Uh, just trying to see is there anything interesting? I guess the Jets situation.
16:20So, Breece Hall not practicing today, which means that we are setting up for another insane Braelon Allen chalk week.
16:28What would be your distribution based on the last couple weeks of Braelon versus Isaiah Davis. And then AD Mitchell got in a limited practice
16:36today, but we are also coming off of an Amari Cooper Jr. like huge breakout game.
16:43That that actually to me, your job I I think is going to be is going to be tough this week figuring out what the
16:48right numbers for those guys are because the last game that AD played, he had 11 targets, Garrett Wilson had six. That
16:55was before the Kony Ealy Siddique breakout game and that was before the Amari Cooper Jr. breakout game with Amari Cooper Jr. inactive. This is and
17:03like obviously the overall pass rate for this team is really really low.
17:08I mean, they dude, the the Jets are going to have like multiple 13-play drives where they don't throw a pass in
17:14this game, I think.
17:15>> Yeah.
17:15My so start starting with the running backs like I think you're still just projecting a ton of volume to Allen. We did see seven
17:23carries last week for Davis to Allen's 17. That's more of like a normal running back one running back two split as
17:29opposed to what they were doing before where they were pretending they only had one running back on the team. Um but I
17:34still think, you know, what right right now we have it at Now we have Breece Hall in right now so that isn't helping. Um yeah, I mean
17:42something in like the 65 70 75% range probably for Allen, I would think. Um as far as the receivers, the one good thing
17:48that I think will make life a little bit easier is that the Jets have run such a concentrated group of guys
17:55out there in terms of route participation. Like the two weeks AD Mitchell was active, he ran 77 and 74% of the routes.
18:03Uh then he's you know been inactive.
18:05But you've had Isaiah Williams running 65 to 90% from weeks one through five.
18:09Then last week with Cooper back, he dropped down to 9%. Like they haven't really been using four wide receivers.
18:16Period. So I think you can actually just say, "Okay, Garrett Wilson's going to run virtually every single route." And then AD Mitchell's probably you know
18:25probably going to be in like that 80% range. And Omar Cooper's probably going to just also be in like the 80-ish
18:31percent range. And then you can just like take everything away from every other wide receiver.
18:36>> Yeah, I would imagine the Tim Patrick Jr. snaps go to zero. This has been very disappointing to me, but Kony Ealy on
18:42Siddique after the big breakout game against the Lions came back and then Mason So Mason Taylor was out in that game against the Lions and they just
18:50firmly reinstalled Mason Taylor as the primary tight end. Siddique mostly played in 12 personnel and kind of like in the slot, which I guess I mean, you
18:59know, he's a raw tight end. He only he played, you know, Pac-12 is Oregon in the Pac- Oregon's not. They're in the Big 10.
19:05>> ACC now or something.
19:06>> Yeah, I don't know. I can't I'm I'm not even I'm not I'm actually just unwilling to engage with with college football
19:12realignment. The conferences are whatever they were when I was 15 and I'm not changing my mind about that.
19:17>> the ACC in my brain.
19:19>> Correct. Um All right. Well, that is good there. I I want to play Omar Cooper Jr. My sense is
19:28he won't he won't project well enough.
19:32>> So, I mean, he'll project higher than he does right now, I think, because like Tim Patrick will go down, Isaiah
19:38Williams go down, Omar Cooper will come up.
19:41Malik Nabers will disappear entirely.
19:44>> I mean, the Jets or the the Dolphins just give it up to everyone. Here's here's an interesting one.
19:49Will our stuff have Gino as playable at 5100? I I would think the pass rate will not get there. Like, we won't have them
19:57>> every week, so >> We have them for a 44% rush rate and a 39% rush touchdown ratio. My my sense is
20:05both those numbers in this specific matchup are are a little light.
20:08>> Yeah, I think that I mean, they're yeah, they're inclined to run. They're likely to be playing with the lead.
20:15Yeah, I mean, this is one of those where like you could even have like a first half where you're looking at your Gino
20:19stacks and you're like, "Oh, these are these look great." And then they throw like three passes in the second half.
20:23>> Yeah. Yeah.
20:26I wish I wish that they were inclined to throw the ball around the yard cuz this game >> It'd actually be a fun offense.
20:32>> They would be.
20:33Breaking news here on the program and this is the way we have it projected, but J.J. McCarthy will officially start this game for the New York Giants.
20:40They're 10 and a half point dogs on the road against Houston coming off these two massive games for Malik Nabers and
20:47Isaiah Likely. They're I wonder are do they have the two highest combined target shares of like top two weapons on an offense? They they got to be pretty
20:55pretty close. It's got to be real close.
20:58What do you do from an efficiency standpoint for McCarthy just overall given how bad he's been? And then further Offen playing so good last week. Like he
21:08played he played so good last week. What do you what do you do with that?
21:13>> So I mean and like I mean everything with him is a small sample, too, because like any the only real data you have on
21:18McCarthy is from, you know, the disaster that you had in Minnesota. Fortunately, like it was already Jameis, so you weren't talking about like, you know,
21:27you're you're not coming off of like Yeah, you're not figuring out how to go from like Brock Purdy to J.J. McCarthy
21:31in terms of efficiency. Um so I mean I think just generally he's you're expecting him to be inefficient, but also just be peppering
21:41two guys and two guys only essentially.
21:45>> True, which I I mean I don't think there's any scenario where I would play McCarthy.
21:51Um the the thing that I want to do this week is I would like to play Malik Nabers because his price has not risen to where his output
22:01has been. Like not even close. It's >> Yeah, he's still got the discount for sure.
22:06>> I mean he's still got some stench on him there. And then freaking Likely, if Likely was a receiver, his true price
22:12would be like $7,200 or something. Like it's it's it's actually wild how productive he has been. I I mean last week and I want to say last week if
22:24he was a wide receiver in our stuff, he would have been projected as a top 10 wide receiver as a $4,800
22:29tight end. I'm probably marginally more likely to play Likely than Nabers just because he's cheaper.
22:37>> Yeah.
22:38>> that's literally it. Like literally he's >> price.
22:41>> Yeah.
22:41>> Yeah. Um you know, absolutely I mean we we've mentioned, you know, the double tight end builds just being so cheap
22:46right now. Like he's somebody that if you're playing him at the flex, it's not even like you're playing two tight ends
22:50really. You're playing, you know, a wide receiver at flex. Um are you not on McCarthy because of the matchup or >> It's really to me just
23:00if the Giants get their way, they won't let him throw the ball 40 times. Like if if this game is even close at all, they
23:08will not let him do that. And I mean, I watched him massacre. I just watched him kill Justin Jefferson last year. Just every
23:19game. Like he was ruining he was ruining this man's life. And I am hesitant enough from that to not buy what I saw from him in you
23:28know, basically like mop-up duty. Like the the Saints the Saints had their backup offense in when McCarthy came in.
23:34Now it's actually funny they had to put their starters back in because McCarthy racked up points so quickly. However, I I just have seen I I know it is small
23:43sample stuff, but I have seen some very very very bad football from J.J. McCarthy.
23:51>> No, I I agree with all of that. My only pushback is like even while he was playing absolutely horribly in
23:57Minnesota. I don't remember the numbers now I I tried to pull up but I couldn't.
24:01But he had like three games with like 20 plus fantasy points in that >> He did. He also I was going to say his
24:08his last little run, McCarthy's last little run, like I want to say like his last four games against the for for the
24:15Vikings after he came back from being injured were actually not terrible last year.
24:22So in 2025 his final four games, you know, 163 and three, 250 and two in a win against Dallas. I want to say he got
24:30injured in this game.
24:32Um it was mostly this stretch right here that people remember him being terrible at Detroit, uh Baltimore, Chicago, Green Bay is where he was just like giga giga
24:42ass.
24:42>> Yeah, cuz I looked it up during like best ball draft cuz I was like I I don't think he's good. I don't think he needs
24:47to be good. Like if he finds a way to get on the field, he's he does score fantasy points because of his legs and
24:54being behind because he sucks. Um so like if he gets on the field he does score fantasy points. Obviously not really the match up that you would want
25:01to, but I don't know, 4,800 like that is it's interesting to me in the like it's not likely it's not very likely to go
25:08right because he's not good. Like you said, we saw him kill Justin Jefferson, but like just in the sense of a condensed stack where everybody can
25:17act is actually like capable of scoring a bunch of fantasy points. Like McCarthy, Neighbors likely is very, very cheap relative to what like an actual
25:26good McCarthy Neighbors likely game produces.
25:30>> Yeah. You know what? I think looking at those games from last year does have me talked in a little bit and just like
25:36playing a smidgen of Neighbors or at least allowing it, but in terms of the inputs, I do think there's got to be
25:42some nuking here. I mean, I guess we should talk about the the running back situation. Although I actually don't never mind it's actually not really that
25:49interesting cuz there's no way you could massage these projections to get any of Scarbrough Tracy or Singletary as as playable. I mean, maybe I guess for like
25:58prop betting and stuff. Sounds like Tracy will probably have a little bit of an expanded role. I mean, they just hate
26:04Cam Scarbrough. I I don't exactly know why, but they I wouldn't anticipate a larger role for Scarbrough coming anytime soon.
26:12>> Really?
26:12>> Yeah, I mean the the only way I think that you should bother guessing at like trying to squeeze any sort of good game
26:18out of that backfield is like if somehow Singletary's inactive or something.
26:23>> But they wouldn't even they wouldn't even do it cuz they they waived Naus cuz >> yeah, like they're they're not going to
26:28Yeah, they're not going to do it, but like if somehow they're just like, "Oh, yeah, we have two running backs."
26:32>> Here's how they could do it. Another team cuts or waives a running back and they or they claim another running back
26:37from a practice squad. Like I don't know. Like let's say Zamir White is on a practice squad and they have to
26:44cuz when you claim a guy from a practice squad, they have to be on your active roster for at least 3 weeks. So maybe
26:50that's how you could buy hook or by crook and then you could talk yourself into Tracy. Like maybe like super super
26:55large field stuff like DK Milly, you could do Tracy I guess I don't know. Not not really for me. Indianapolis against
27:02Minnesota.
27:04Sounds like Tyler Warren has a has a good chance to be back. I mean Keenan Allen is looking like the best points
27:10per dollar wide receiver of of this late right now based on how much he mogged downs. I mean it's it it's so
27:19Josh Downs stuff. I mean I've been right about everything in fantasy football this year just like all my calls just like literally 10 out of 10. Josh Downs
27:27sucking with a 95% route rate. I I truly would have never thought this was in the range. I I you you could have given me
27:3510,000 simulations of the season and him just actively being bad playing every down. I would have just been like well that's not going to happen. Like if
27:43anything maybe like Laquon Treadwell is used over him in heavy personnel so his routes are 65% or whatever. But how how
27:51is he this bad playing every down?
27:54>> Yeah, if you had told me that 6 weeks in his like lowest route participation was 80 plus percent I'd have been drafting
27:58him in what like the 6th round or something?
28:00>> Yes. Yeah, I I just I don't get this at all and I guess it I guess it is just Keenan is he's like a vampire dude.
28:10He just he just sucks.
28:11>> Daniel Jones just blows but >> Well, Daniel Jones is awful. But like so I mean Daniel Jones is playing awful
28:17like literally like losing to the Titans level bad. But Josh Downs had an interception bounce off his hands last week. Like would have
28:26just easily completed the first down and kept the drive going and he just let it bobble off his hands and land
28:33with the defender. It was it was terrible. I I I hate that [ __ ] So you really you really do. You really do
28:40hate to see it. I don't know. And then if Warren does not play in this game, I mean what what's going to what's the
28:47upper bound of what Keenan's target share could be? 25, 26%?
28:51>> Hit 29 last week.
28:55>> That is so dark, dude. That is I go I mean, is it going to be thank thankfully DraftKings is protecting me
29:02from myself a little bit? Like if Keenan's price had risen to 5300 and Downs had gotten nuked to 40 like if
29:08their prices had swapped, I I'd be like, well, how bad can it be? $4800 Josh Downs, I'm all the way back in, you know, but so
29:16thankfully I'm getting protected here a little bit. Viking stuff, Jordan Mason is going to be back this week, so it's I
29:23think it's just going to look really similar to what it did in week one.
29:26We're going to give all the early down and goal line stuff to Jordan Mason. The big difference there being the Vikings are like the worst backfield
29:36for expected fantasy points for back for running backs. They they don't really throw to the running back. Kyler's done it a little bit, but they also don't run
29:44inside the red zone at all. Um they they still dating back to last year, I believe have 11 rushes inside the 10-yard line dating
29:53all the way back to last last week one, which is crazy. And then Jordan Addison should be trending back this week. Um
30:01I don't know. I mean, I kind of want to play Kyler this week just because the Colts defense is this bad.
30:05>> Yeah, I've also been playing Kyler a lot. Um so don't don't need extra reasons there.
30:12Um but yeah, I mean Mason being back obviously will should take the $6200 Aaron Jones, make him relatively unappealing.
30:21>> Yeah, I'm out I'm out on that. I mean, 5300 >> Especially cuz they've been they've been like dying to cut his work back, too.
30:25It's kind of like the Jaylen Warren situation. Like they've just been like, we want to stop giving him this many carries. Like I expect him to just go
30:32straight back to a time share.
30:34>> Yeah. Yeah. Uh Is there any Oh, I mean, Hockenson back this week. Hockenson priced at 4500.
30:41Like how much of that volume is real? You know, I I'm I'm very very I'm very very curious how Hawkinson is going to shake out in the
30:50projections. He's always the guy that projections like more than I do.
30:55>> Yeah. Um Yeah, and it's it's tricky cuz like you had Jefferson hurt, then you had Addison hurt, and Hawkinson hurt. Um I assume he
31:02settles in that like 17-18 percent target range.
31:04>> Yeah.
31:05Yeah.
31:06Anything else here? Not really. I I mean, okay, Cleveland, this is one where if the news breaks in like such a way,
31:14it actually could end up being really relevant because they are playing the Titans, and we know they want to run the
31:20air out of the ball. So, let's say this is the situation.
31:24Judkins does not play.
31:27Samson does play. The backfield is Jaleel Estime and Samson. Jaleel played 65% of the snaps last week. Estime played the rest of them. Jaleel played
31:37all the long down and distance stuff, but Estime got all the short yardage stuff. How on earth do you project that
31:42backfield? Samson, Jaleel, and Estime.
31:46>> Yeah, it's really gross cuz with Samson, you run into the same issue that I have with Christian Kirk, where he wasn't
31:51healthy enough to get activated last week. So, is he really just going to like step into a huge role here?
31:56Um and then like you said, you got basically a a split in carries for McLaughlin and Estime. McLaughlin was running way more routes, but if Samson's
32:04back, a lot of those probably are going to Samson.
32:08Um It's really gross. Like, they're all cheap.
32:14>> They're all cheap. And I mean, obviously, if they were playing some good team, you wouldn't care. But, it's a slate that is compressed in terms of
32:22value, and it is a slate that has Puka really expensive, Gibbs really expensive, and those guys are projected better than everyone else by a lot. So,
32:30you want to look for ways to get those two guys together. It also it doesn't have a a of mid-tier value really
32:36outside of Braylon or Breese at the running back spot. Jalil, actually I saw Jalil get played a little bit last week,
32:42which I would have never done. Um I I estimate is one of those guys I can't I can't really quit.
32:48I'm estimate 4,200.
32:51Could estimate Could estimate score twice in in this game?
32:57Maybe.
33:00>> My my initial My thought basically especially if all three are active, but but realistically even if it's just the two of them
33:07is probably I would just like not even want to bother with it in like smaller field, you know, single entry, three max stuff.
33:15I can just not deal with it. And then if I'm playing like 150 in like a milli maker lotto or something, and I just end
33:22up with like a dart throw here or there in lineups where like I'm paying up for, you know, Puka and whatever else, and
33:29just hope that I like land on the right one in the right lineup, like fine, but I don't think, especially if all three are active, I
33:36don't think there's a lot you're going to be able to do that is going to make any of them actually project well enough
33:41that they show up outside of your, you know, 100,000, 200,000 entry lottos.
33:48>> Yes. Yeah.
33:50I mean, he does strike me as a fairly good um lotto play. Now, on the Titans side, we got to get this this Carnell Tate
33:59target share. This has got to get like 26, 27, 28% I think for Carnell Tate.
34:05>> He is really the He is really the only read there. Like the the Wan'Dale stuff Wan'Dale is another one of those guys
34:14that creeps in to the sim stuff, and I'm just like, okay, well, he's an easy nuke for me. There's no There There's like no
34:20ceiling for Wan'Dale in a given week because maybe if Ward was better at completing passes, he was 11 for 22 for
34:28I think 121 yards last week was his final stat line.
34:33Like if Ward could complete 65% of his passes, maybe you could you could run some Wandale. Where I guess maybe worth
34:41noting, Iomana did take over for Ridley last week. So if you want a $3,000 guy who could score a touchdown, you know, I think we have this projected
34:50correctly here with Iomana over Ridley.
34:53But Tate at 5100 and like a fine match up against the Browns.
34:59I [clears throat] think we we probably should get him to like 25% minimum, I think.
35:05>> Yeah, and probably higher. He's 25 for the season, but he's been at 25 or higher four out of six weeks. He's been north of 30 two of
35:15the last three.
35:17You run into the efficiency issues, obviously, but um Yeah, I mean especially at price like at 5100, >> [clears throat] >> I'll I'll give up some some efficiency
35:26and some floor for just somebody that's going to get targeted as often as K'Neal Tate is. And I agree with you on Robinson. Like he's
35:34almost in that like Malik Washington vein where it's like, yeah, he does actually get targeted a pretty good amount. He's at like 21% for the season,
35:40but he's somebody that kind of has to PPR scam to get there and his quarterback can't complete enough passes for him to do that.
35:46>> Like literally could not complete the amount of passes needed to to get him there. It's it's so the whole Titans
35:52thing is is so dark. So Denver Arizona, Jonah Coleman is eligible to return soon. So this backfield could get shaken up in in a pretty significant way.
36:03Dobbins is like absolutely mugging Harvey and and Badie. I mean it's been really clear Sean Payton taking over the play calling. Like his top top priority
36:13for Sean Payton taking over the play calling was we got to get the ball to JK Dobbins more.
36:17It's crazy to see JK Dobbins project for 13 with a 3% target share, but I think it's probably right. And freaking Waddle
36:25man Waddle's going to be one of these weeks. I don't know when it's going to happen, but eventually Waddle will have
36:30one of these games. I mean, he did have what he had eight for 130, I think, in in week two, something like that. Like,
36:36he did have a smash.
36:38I think our projection looks about right here. I think Waddle 14 points, 24% target share, 64% catch rate. I I think
36:45that looks about right. This is This is going to be one that people are mad at the Sims about. They're going to be
36:50like, "Enough Waddle." Like, I don't I don't need it. I don't want it. Like, nuke him. And and he's going to come in
36:55at 9% owned and like I mean, I don't know if he's going to be a smash. And it's he's really, really
37:03frustrating, but the like the routes have been fine. It's all been fine for Waddle. The the production just has not been there.
37:10>> Yeah. And I I kind of think a lot of it is probably Bo Nix. Like, if you look at the variance in his targets, like, so
37:16he's at 19% average for the season, but he and he had one week at 20. Other than that, though, he's been at 26 and 32.
37:25And then he's also been at 11, 11, and 14. Like, it's just like, which which week is it going to be? Is it going to be the one where Bo
37:33Nix just goes out there and and and peppers him? Or is it going to be the one where Bo Nix just forgets he exists?
37:38And I don't know that there's a whole lot of rhyme or reason to it. Um the other problem, too, cuz like you could
37:43argue that 24% is a bit high given that his average for the season is 19. Um but he has still exceeded it, you know, two
37:49out of six weeks. But then the other problem you're going to run into is if you start taking targets away from
37:54Jaylen Waddle, where are they going?
37:55Because Courtland Sutton is a dust. You can't just like bump him to 21% to take it from Waddle. Uh they're not throwing
38:02to any of their other receivers that much. It's just that so much of it is Bo Nix playing like Bo Nix.
38:10>> He has the He has the the lowest average depth of target of any quarterback of all time this season. I'm truly
38:19700 and first out of 701 qualifying seasons since they started doing the next gen stats tracking data.
38:26I mean, it's one of the most insane statistics of all time. If what Ryan Fitzpatrick said he's disrespecting the game of football. I mean, if we can
38:35get him to be a little bit respectful to the game of football, then you could start to see some real production.
38:41>> Yeah. Like I was even looking cuz so like Dobbins the last couple of weeks his target share has actually been up as
38:46well. Um but his routes haven't really gone up. It's just that like Bo Nix is checking down to him more than he
38:50already did.
38:51>> Yes, 100%.
38:53Arizona side of the game, we'll see if we're able to get Jeremiah Love back.
38:59Bam Knight randomly takes half of the stuff like basically what happened is Allgeier kind of stayed in the role he was in already and then Bam Knight took
39:07the Jeremiah Love stuff. Now, part of that was Allgeier was playing very poorly and Bam Knight was just absolutely churning. That's just going
39:14to hot hand type stuff. That that's how coaches call the game. The most annoying thing would be if this turns into a three-way
39:23thing. So, Jeremiah Love comes back and Bam Knight starts getting four rushes and one target a game. I mean, that would just be like devastating for any
39:32fantasy football value to be had here cuz you need this to be going the other way. Ideally, by about week six, seven,
39:38you'd start to see Jeremiah Love icing Tyler Allgeier and taking some of the two-minute drill stuff and taking some of the long down and distance stuff.
39:44That has not happened at all.
39:46I'm hope Here's my hope if you're a Jeremiah Love guy, that he really was like really being bothered by these ankle injuries cuz he's now injured both
39:54his ankles and with a week off, he's feeling like much better. Uh good good to go.
39:59>> I mean, if you want to make like a bull case for Jeremiah Love, it would be what you just said that you know, maybe he
40:06just needed a week and now he's good because if you go back to like the the previous games, week three he had 21
40:12carries to Allgeier's two. Then week four was 14 to eight. That was the game where you had like the weird Tim
40:17benching down the stretch and having the weird like post game whatever. And then it went right back to 12 carries for
40:23Love, three for Algier, one for Knight.
40:27At 5,500 if they were to just say, you know, go back to like, "Oh, well, yeah, no, we're just going to give Love 12 to
40:3115 carries and then Algier is going to get like three." Like that would be really appealing. But at the same time,
40:36coming off of an injury and then also do they reward, you know, how much do they reward Bam Knight in this game with a
40:43handful of carries? Like it's probably really messy, but I would say that there's like at least a window into that sort of game where like you
40:52look back after the slate and you're just like, "Oh, $5,500 Jeremiah Love was, you know, 4% owned and I didn't click him a bunch."
41:02>> I I It's It's not a great match up to think that he could get there like again if this was a more neutral Like if this
41:07was um if this was if they were playing, you know, I don't know, the the 49ers, whoever could good defense but not a great defense, I would say,
41:18"Sure, whatever." I actually, you know what? I guess the fact that Arizona is only five point dogs, maybe that does make it more neutral. Like it's it's a
41:26bad efficiency match up but the fact that they're not going to get absolutely blown out, like again, maybe another guy. 5,500 Jeremiah Love, there's a I
41:33mean, I don't think this is likely.
41:34There's a chance that this is like his career low in DFS salary or whatever.
41:38Like if he comes out and does get 21 rushes and five targets and scores twice in this game, this might be the lowest
41:44his salary ever gets on DraftKings, you know?
41:46>> Right. Which again, like that's pretty unlikely for a variety of reasons. Like one, they might/probably don't even want that to
41:53happen. Uh and then two, you know, still a decent chance that it's not a competitive fourth quarter game and he would get rested anyway.
42:01Like there's a million ways that it doesn't happen. But yeah, it is a price tag that I kind of like look at and just
42:06say, "Yeah, that's kind of interesting."
42:07>> Yeah. Uh okay. And then Michael Wilson.
42:11So Michael Wilson went from a 92% route share with Marvin Harrison Jr. on the field with him and then in the two games
42:17with no Marvin Harrison Jr. has run 80 and 82% of the routes. He's seen his target share decline. Part of that is
42:24the offense is just not been very good.
42:27It wasn't very good before.
42:29I think people got a little over their skis after the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade and just over their skis after two
42:36insane volume games for [clears throat] Michael Wilson.
42:40But the way the Arizona offense works, this was actually one of the problems for why Marvin Harrison Jr. never really broke out is that
42:48Trey McBride is the the first read. So, there's just when you have a 28% target share tight end, there's really an upper
42:55limit to how much a a non-great receiver can get. Now, if Trey McBride was playing alongside Malik Nabers, Nabers could Nabers could have a
43:0530% target share. It would be It would be what likely Nabers are doing. But because Michael Wilson is basically just like a totally fine, competent NFL
43:14receiver, I think it's hard for him to justify these crazy ownerships in the 6,000s every single week.
43:21>> Yeah, he's one of my favorite guys to just play when he's not popular and then not play when he is because
43:26um he his ceiling in terms of opportunities is as high as like anybody. So, when he's low owned at this salary, it's just like,
43:33yeah, give me him. I don't really care if it's the match-up or, you know, whatever. Whatever reason people are off him, I don't care. I'll take him. But
43:39then his average and like his floor is so much lower than a lot of other guys because of a combination of the offense
43:48as a whole and McBride being there. I mean, every week they have like a 19-point total. It's not like he's on an
43:54offense that generally scores tons of points. So, like he's probably I mean, I've no way of knowing this, but I would
43:59guess that really ever since he broke out last year I've probably been more like my exposures have probably been more negatively correlated to the field on
44:07Mike Williams than like anybody else.
44:09>> Yeah, 100%.
44:11Next game is I mean, talk about again another impossible spot to figure out. The Los Angeles Rams against the Raiders. So, no
44:21Devante Adams, no Terrance Ferguson, Kyren saw a real reduction in his target share in a game last week for the first
44:29time. It'd been the highest target share of his career. And I actually talked about this with Jacob, which is the running backs for the Rams having
44:36such a high target share when historically the Rams throw to running backs at a really low rate is a symptom of Ferguson not being available. But
44:43now, not only is Ferguson not available, but what Adams isn't available, Mumfield had the best game amongst the wide receivers in the game that Puka missed.
44:51He had four for 92 and one against Denver. Tutu Atwell was a healthy scratch in their last game.
44:57Historically, Whittington has been Puka's backup. I think Mumfield is probably Adams' backup.
45:05They have not played Max Claire at all.
45:08They took him in the second round.
45:09They've literally not played him at all.
45:10I mean, honestly, the the answer here is that Higbee is like a total jam, like an 18% target share guy. But it's also so
45:17funny. Tyler Higbee sucks. He's been on the Rams for like eight years. He's been around forever. He he had that one run.
45:24There was a year Higbee was drafted as a top 10 tight end in fantasy football. Um which was obvi- and part of that is he
45:30also coincided with the Cooper Kupp era when there was very like tight end was just not going to eat that much when
45:36when Cooper Kupp was at the peak of his powers, but I don't know, man. What do you Cuz one of these Rams guys probably
45:42is going to grade out pretty well, whether it be Mumfield, whether it be Whittington. I I don't know what's going on here.
45:47>> Yeah. My guess is it's Mumfield that gets more.
45:52>> That's my >> Like like I mean, everybody obviously gets more, but like my guess is that Mumfield is on the field more than Whittington. Um
46:00Um, is a very, I think, loosely educated guess uh, that I plan on digging into more, but I think that's if I remember correctly, that's what we
46:07saw last year, too.
46:09Um, was Mumfield getting on the field more. And then, like with Adams, and it was >> actually, in the game, it's very funny
46:18the way these things work. The game that Puka missed last year was actually the game that Tutu Atwell broke out. It was the
46:26first game It was the first game he ran over like 10% of the routes or whatever, and that's what Puka being out in that
46:31London game is what led to the switch being flipped for them doing all the 12 and 13 personnel. Before that, they were doing
46:39the normal stuff. Yeah. And last year, Mumfield was the Adams backup. I'm pulling up the uh I'm going to pull up
46:45the routes.
46:46>> So, you There were three games last year, week 16, 17, 18, that Adams missed, Puka was in. Um, most of the
46:52relevant guys were in. Higbee missed a couple of them. Uh, but Mumfield snaps was 46, 66, 48. Winningham was at 16, 20, and then I think he got hurt,
47:02zero.
47:02>> This was the routes in the two games that Puka missed. 89% for Adams, 71% for Mumfield, 54% for Xavier Smith, who I
47:09believe they waived uh Tutu Atwell.
47:12Yeah, I think C.J. Daniels is probably going to be active as well, Tutu Atwell.
47:16And then, these were the tight end routes in those games. 54% for Higbee.
47:20Ferguson got injured in the middle of that game. Davis-Allen barely played.
47:23Colby Parkinson barely played. Uh, I know a lot of people drafted Colby Parkinson in Best Ball, but it's it's clear that they
47:31basically Davis-Allen and Colby Parkinson play the same position, and then Higbee and Ferguson play the same position in the offense. And I I
47:39actually think Parkinson had a good game last week. I think he had like six targets or something.
47:42>> He ran 50% of routes. It was the second highest of the season since week one.
47:46>> I wouldn't be I'd be in on Higbee, not Parkinson, I think.
47:50>> Yeah, unless you got some like massive ownership discrepancy, and still >> Well, I think he will. I think Higbee Higbee will be like 25% owned this week.
48:00May- maybe more, honestly.
48:02>> And I mean still probably on a full slate. I would just like if I if I am not playing Higbee, I'd probably just
48:06like find other things. Um but yeah, I mean Parkinson's route percentage could go up. One other interesting thing that really messes with guessing what they're
48:13going to do at wide receiver, too.
48:15So, Tutu Atwell was inactive last week.
48:18Week 5, he ran 53% of routes. They were talking on the broadcast about how Sean McVay wanted to use Tutu Atwell more
48:26because now that they're they're running, you know, the jumbo personnel 13 uh you know, 13 personnel so often, um they need somebody to stretch the field more
48:34and that's they think Tutu Atwell is great at that, blah blah blah. That coincides with him being out there all the time and then he's inactive. So,
48:39like I assume he's active this week with Adams out. And again, I'm guessing that Mumfield is the the backup to Adams, but
48:46like I don't know. Does Tutu Atwell just suddenly run like 65%?
48:52>> I don't think so. I think I think I think I think Tutu's I think Tutu's best best football is probably is probably
48:58past.
48:58>> It was it was bizarre where it was just like, oh well, it seems like they're actively going to use him. Oh, never
49:02mind. Now this week he's he's not even active.
49:05>> Yeah. Yeah, 100%. Then, the final game here, 53 and a half total, just absolutely massive, but huge wrinkle thrown, which is
49:16what rush share do you give Josh Jacobs back? It's his first game back. He's been like obviously working out and staying fit, but has not been allowed to
49:24practice with the team.
49:26The wrinkle on top of that is does having a real running back shift them away from this crazy pass rate over
49:32expectation cuz their running game is the worst in the NFL. They're they're literally worse than the dolphins.
49:37They're like one of the worst of all time.
49:40Can we get like are their their projected rush rate right now 37%?
49:45I mean, I'm sure in in Michael LaFleur's or Matt LaFleur's mind, I mean, he'd like probably like to be 50% rush rate.
49:52Golden and Watson are going to be like uh yeah, 43% base projected ownership for Matthew Golden on DraftKings and and I think that is probably right about
50:01correct.
50:02The Jacobs stuff could really mess with that.
50:06>> Yeah, so And yeah, and like even thinking through it. So like on the one hand, you know, yeah, he hasn't been practicing and I
50:13assume he's, you know, at least somewhat limited. Like I assume may maybe maybe I'm wrong, but I assume you're not going
50:18to immediately get the like 75% rushing share for Josh Jacobs right out of the gate.
50:23Maybe you will, but um it's also it's not like Lloyd or Strong have been any good. So like they should want to
50:31use Jacobs as much as they physically can use Jacobs. But then also you have the line being bad. Like how much of
50:36them how much of their rush rate is a function of Lloyd, Strong, Caleb Johnson not being effective and how which, you
50:43know, obviously can change with Josh Jacobs and how much of it is a function of we just can't run behind these guys,
50:48which isn't necessarily going to change with Josh Jacobs.
50:52>> 100%. Yeah, 100 100%. I mean I think that probably MarShawn Lloyd was so bad that we do see Jacobs get like a
51:0160-65% rush share, maybe even a little bit higher if he feels good in game. What I don't think you'll get from him is I
51:07think probably they'll have Pierre Strong plays the passing down back.
51:11>> Pierre Strong becomes Chris Brooks probably.
51:13>> Yeah, Pierre Strong becomes Chris Brooks is is basically what's going to happen there. And then do you have any thoughts
51:18on Golden, Watson, uh Savion Williams who came back and basically was just Jayden Reed and Tucker Kraft. Kraft lagging very far
51:27behind his career efficiency and target share stuff, but he's also coming back from an ACL. He also frankly th- this version of Golden and Watson,
51:36these guys are so good. The like Golden is playing out of his mind in terms of getting open, which is like way better
51:44than Romeo Doubs had ever played. This this stuff that um that Golden is doing.
51:50>> Yeah, I think on especially in larger field stuff, I think Skyy Moore on Williams is actually interesting because I was really with Skyy Moore hurt, I was
51:58really interested to see what they would do. Like the game he got hurt, Bo Melton stepped into that role. And then you
52:03have Skyy Moore on coming back from IR last week and was like, "Okay, are they going to ease him in or are they just
52:07going to throw him into the fire?" He ran like 56% of routes. Those routes are clearly there. Like they don't have a
52:12wide receiver three. Um Skyy Moore had stepped in and was running you know 50-ish percent of routes and now it looks like that's going to be Skyy Moore
52:18on. So like he's not somebody that you know I think you know he's he's certainly one of these guys that you get all season long
52:24where he like yeah he's 3K, his point per hour projection will be okay, but like chances are you're not going to
52:29actually want a lot of him. Um but given the game environment and the price, I do think he at least is pretty clearly the
52:36wide receiver three based on usage we saw last week.
52:39>> Yeah. Yeah. Anything interesting for you on Detroit side? I mean like I I think Detroit Detroit has to be when when when you guys are going
52:50through the projections every week, Detroit's got to be the easiest team to project. It's got to be hey exactly what they've done for the last 30 games,
52:57that's that's what they're going to do this game.
52:59>> Yeah, I I love getting to Detroit. It's getting to every team on a bye week feels good and then getting to Detroit
53:04feels good cuz it's like oh I don't have to do anything here. It's the same as last week.
53:07>> Yeah, 100%. Uh all right everyone, that is arguing inputs for week seven. Like the video, subscribe to the channel, and
53:15Jacob and I will be back thinking about DFS tomorrow.
