Aaron Jones

NegativeUsage33:00

Aaron Jones hit the Bears for over 100 yards in Week 2, demonstrating that the Bears run defense can be exploited by elite running backs.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeUsage24:00

Kamara got a bunch of touches in Week 2 and was picked up on waivers as a potential contributor; however, there is uncertainty about his role and production going forward, with the speaker noting he is not expected to be good but could have value in tough spots.

Insight page

Austin Ekeler

NegativeDepth Chart69:00

Austin Ekeler is visiting the Panthers, suggesting potential interest in joining the team and potentially competing for touches in the backfield with Chuba Hubbard.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveProjection32:00

Bijan Robinson delivered an 'otherworldly' performance with 194 receiving yards, showcasing his elite deceleration and ability to stop and change direction—described as 'the best in the NFL at that.' Winks notes Robinson's standout trait is his ability to brake and redirect, combined with enough power to break arm tackles. His smooth, fluid cutting ability and physicality make him a ceiling-level talent; Winks calls this 'the ceiling for him' and 'just a huge, huge game.'

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection46:06

Bo Nix had a bounce-back opportunity last week against Jacksonville but posted only 15 fantasy points in an okay performance. Matt Harmon is looking for something similar from Drake May this week, suggesting limited upside expectations for Nix-level production against this defense.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveValue66:38

Matt Harmon expresses strong interest in Braylon Allen as a desperation flex option in Week 3, stating he would put Allen in his lineup if he had him on his team given the scarcity of viable options at the position.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper105:18

Allen needs to be rostered everywhere as a handcuff to Breece Hall. If Hall goes down, Allen is set up to get significant opportunity in the Jets offense with its strong offensive line construction. Matt Harmon would be putting Allen in his lineup this week if he had him on his team, calling the desperation flex value compelling given current circumstances.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveMatchup64:06

Lions defense gave up 100 scrimmage yards to Travis Henry and Kendra Miller in Week 1 and 139 yards to James Cook in Week 2; Breece Hall has looked very good this year and is producing well against a vulnerable Lions run defense.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup103:46

Hall faces a Lions defense that has given up 100+ scrimmage yards to Travis Henry and Kendra Miller in Week 1 and 139 yards to James Cook in Week 2. Hall has looked very good this year and is producing well while also catching the ball; the Jets offense was built around him and Garrett Wilson.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

PositiveProjection22:00

Brian Robinson posted 194 receiving yards in the Falcons' win over Green Bay, delivering a solid fantasy performance alongside Bijan Robinson. Boone notes 'if you drafted B. Robinson over B. Robinson on accident, you're all right tonight,' indicating both Robinsons produced strong stat lines in the same game.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection47:18

Bryce Young has a higher projected team total than Drake May's Patriots (Panthers at 22.5 vs. Jacksonville at 21.5), suggesting potentially better passing volume and touchdown opportunities despite not having a top-four quarterback season like May's 2024 performance.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

NegativeMatchup48:23

CJ Stroud faces a favorable matchup against the Indianapolis Colts defense in Week 3, though the speaker notes concern about Stroud's lack of receiving weapons; the Colts defense presents an opportunity despite the Texans' limited passing options.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeRole35:03

Lamb's presence in the Cowboys offense affects Pickens' production; when Lamb is on the field, Pickens operates as a low-end WR1/high-end WR2 rather than the high-end WR1 he was when Lamb was sidelined last year.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveProjection19:48

Olave is part of a strong receiving core alongside Christian Watson and Drake London; he is expected to contribute as a high-end receiver for the season.

Insight page
NegativeRole59:06

Chris Olave is the primary passing option for the Saints offense, ahead of Ville Lafleur and Juwan Johnson in the receiving hierarchy.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveProjection19:10

Watson had a great night in Week 2 and is projected to have a great season; he showed wide receiver 16 fantasy points per game last year over a long stretch and is now taking that to another level.

Insight page
PositiveValue55:00

Christian Watson posted 96 yards and a touchdown in a quiet performance that Winks calls 'one of the best picks in fantasy' in the sixth-to-eighth round range. Winks argues Watson could be a top-10 WR rest-of-season because he now combines top-12 usage with elite efficiency; he was previously a 'model breaker' in usage-to-points ratio. Winks calls this 'a league altering selection' and notes Watson has maintained elite production (WR16 PPG last year) while taking it 'to even another level' in 2025. Despite the quiet stat line, Winks emphasizes Watson's consistency and tape quality.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveValue19:14

Hubbard was a strong draft pick that provided immediate value; the speaker regrets not making the Chuba Hubbard pick in their expert league, noting that acquiring him would have made their team unstoppable.

Insight page
PositiveValue67:27

Matt Harmon ranks Chuba Hubbard as the best fantasy pick through two weeks of the season, potentially the best fantasy pick of the year; he's produced three touchdowns in two games (two as a pass catcher) with 13-14 touches per game against weak defenses (Bears, Falcons). With Jonathan Brooks out 6-8 weeks on IR, Hubbard has no competition for touches in the backfield. This week he faces the Browns in a game where Carolina is favored on the road, setting up a positive game script.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeProjection60:00

Boone notes he 'almost cried' when placing Colston Loveland in his tight end rankings this week, questioning how to justify having him in the top 12. Boone cites a bad matchup and poor performance as reasons for the downgrade, indicating Loveland is not a viable fantasy option at this stage of the season.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveValue67:27

Matt Harmon identifies Dalton Kincaid as probably a really good fantasy pick through two weeks of the season, ranking him second only to Chuba Hubbard in terms of early-season value.

Insight page

Darius Cooper

NegativeRole60:14

Darius Cooper was involved in the Saints offense last week and is part of the receiving rotation.

Insight page

Darius Slayton

PositiveMatchup60:50

Facing a banged-up Bears defense; Matt Harmon expects Slayton to have another big game and is willing to play him, though he views Wicks as the higher upside play in this matchup.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveProjection49:59

Devante Adams delivered a vintage performance on Monday night with 10 targets caught for all of them, earning praise from Matt Harmon for a phenomenal game; however, Harmon notes the Rams' passing attack lacks proven depth beyond Adams, positioning Terrence Ferguson as the clear number-two option.

Insight page

De'Veon Smith

NegativeInjury60:14

Devon Smith's status is uncertain heading into Week 3; Harmon notes the team will monitor his availability throughout the week.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeMatchup28:03

Achan is running back 24 in points per game through two weeks and faces the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3; he is part of Josh's list of disappointing running backs that could turn around their season.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveProjection57:44

Matt Harmon projects Debo Samuel as a top-tier fantasy option with high touchdown probability in a 49ers offense projected for 28+ points weekly; expects red zone involvement via Kyle Shanahan's creative play-calling and notes Debo will likely score before Mike Evans given Evans' injury status and the 49ers' offensive firepower.

Insight page
PositiveRole58:00

Debo Samuel has a huge role in the 49ers offense with multiple scoring paths: targets, carries out of the backfield, and red zone opportunities; Harmon notes the 49ers have no other choice but to lean on him heavily given injuries to other receivers.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeMatchup47:05

Deshaun Watson has only one touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars defense, indicating the defense's strength in limiting passing production.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveProjection60:41

Eagles' use of six-lineman sets and emphasis on running game with limited route concepts should help DeVonta Smith alongside Dontavian Wicks.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveProjection19:48

Drake London is part of a strong receiving core alongside Christian Watson and Chris Olave; he is expected to come on and contribute as the season progresses.

Insight page
PositiveProjection22:00

Drake London earned a 40% target share in Thursday's win with Michael Pennix returning from ACL injury, matching his 34% average from 12 prior games with Pennix. Hayden Winks projects London could move up 20 spots in overall rankings from around the third round back into the early second round, firmly establishing him as an every-week WR1 regardless of matchup because Pennix 'just wants to throw the ball to him.' London was WR3 overall in those 12 games with Pennix before the injury.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeProjection44:22

May opened the season as QB 27–25 against top-two EPA/DVOA defenses (Seattle, Pittsburgh), and faces Jacksonville with only a 21.5-point team total and without AJ Brown. Despite a strong rookie floor (never below QB 17 in 85%+ snap games) and QB 3 finish last year with only one sub-14 fantasy point game all season, May has posted weak performances in weeks 1–2, suggesting a lower floor than previously thought. Matt Harmon projects him as QB 14 for week 3 with limited confidence in a bounce-back against Jacksonville.

Insight page
NegativeProjection47:24

Matt Harmon ranks Drake Maye outside the top two quarterback spots this week despite his top-four QB season last year, citing the need to reset based on recent performance rather than past production; Harmon has Kyler Murray and two other passing offenses ahead of him in his rankings, suggesting skepticism about Maye's ability to maintain last year's elite pace.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

NegativeMatchup35:03

Egbuka is wide receiver 34 through two weeks and faces the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3; he was talked up heading into the season but has not panned out as expected so far.

Insight page
PositiveValue42:00

Matt Harmon charted Agbuka playing well in his Z receiver role aligned with his skill set; despite lack of production so far, Harmon advises to buy low before the eruption game occurs. Week three matchup against Vikings and Brian Flores defense is not ideal, but week four against Packers presents a much better opportunity for the breakout.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup43:08

Week three matchup against Brian Flores' Vikings defense is problematic; Flores will confuse pre- and post-snap reads, send blitzers and extra pass rushers from multiple angles. Combined with Baker Mayfield playing erratically and the left guard allowing pressure from twists and stunts, this creates a recipe for disaster for Agbuka this week.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveMatchup60:50

Lions have allowed 41 and 30 points in first two weeks; Wilson is a core Jets option to play in this matchup with shootout potential.

Insight page
PositiveRole104:09

Wilson is back in fringe low-end WR1 territory as the Jets offense was built around him and Breece Hall. The offense has shown interesting pieces and Wilson is a core part of that construction.

Insight page

Geno Smith

NegativeProjection48:43

Gino Smith is mentioned as an intriguing Week 3 streaming option compared to Drake Maye, suggesting he merits consideration in the quarterback decision-making process for the week.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup63:00

Matt Harmon is in on Gino Smith this week despite market projections (Jets 20.5 vs. Lions 27); he sees shootout potential with Aaron Glenn's knowledge of how to attack the Lions defense, though his co-host is hesitant to go that far.

Insight page
NegativeProjection67:00

Matt Harmon indicates uncertainty about whether Geno Smith will be in his lineup for Week 3, suggesting he may pick up and drop multiple quarterbacks in rapid succession before finalizing his decision.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup105:11

Smith faces a Lions defense missing three defensive backs (Brian Branch, Kirby Joseph, Avante Maddox) and has allowed a league-high five touchdowns against the blitz so far this season. Smith is 14 of 19 completing passes in two games versus the blitz, and the Jets can protect against Detroit's top-13 pass rush. Matt Harmon is 'Jets curious' about this matchup.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveProjection35:03

Pickens is wide receiver 52 through two weeks but is expected to bounce back; last year he produced like a high-end WR1 when CeeDee Lamb was out and a low-end WR1/high-end WR2 when Lamb returned; this is a slow start and he belongs in that range; Week 3 against Baltimore is a high-scoring game matchup that should help him get back on track.

Insight page
NegativeBust36:27

Pickens has regressed to the mean after running hot last year; through two weeks he has 6 targets/3 catches/28 yards and 8 targets/6 receptions/40 yards; he is running cold and there is concern that he may have been drafted too high given the long sample size of him and CeeDee Lamb together, suggesting he should have been drafted closer to Tee Higgins' range.

Insight page

Jahan Dotson

PositiveUsage65:00

Jahan Dotson was the second-leading target getter for Atlanta with only three targets, a massive drop-off from Drake London's 10 targets. Winks notes this target distribution (10 to 3 to 2–3 for everyone else) is 'staggering' but consistent with Michael Pennix's historical usage patterns, where he heavily favors Drake London.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeProjection38:08

Jameis Winston is starting for the Titans in Week 3 against the Giants, who are favored by 3 points despite Tennessee getting a backup quarterback. Winston needs to show he has something left to give in both football and fantasy football this week.

Insight page
NegativeRole39:00

Winston is starting for the Giants in Week 3 against the Titans; if he has anything left to give in fantasy football, he needs to show it this week.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeMatchup35:03

Williams is wide receiver 58 through two weeks and faces the New York Jets in Week 3; he was talked up heading into the season but has not panned out as expected so far.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeMatchup28:03

Warren is running back 29 in points per game through two weeks and faces the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3; he is part of Josh's list of disappointing running backs that could turn around their season.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveValue23:00

Taylor was drafted early and is part of a strong foundation for a fantasy team; the speaker is very happy with the Taylor pick despite struggles at running back depth.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeInjury67:27

Jonathan Brooks has been placed on injured reserve and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks, opening up the backfield for Chuba Hubbard to operate without competition for touches.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

NegativeInjury59:06

Jordan Tyson is out, which has elevated Ville Lafleur's snap rate to 93-92% of Saints dropbacks; Tyson's return timeline is unknown and will impact the Saints' receiving hierarchy when he returns.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeInjury40:00

Josh Jacobs' return timeline remains unclear due to a pending video release decision by local police. Boone notes Jacobs 'has no shot behind this offensive line' even when he returns; the Packers' OL is 'already a disaster' and lost Zach Bacabuele, their best tackle. Boone advises: 'if you can trade Josh Jacobs away, I would think about doing that.' The Packers ran for only 17 yards on eight carries, and Boone sees this as 'an unserious run game, even when Josh Jacobs comes back.'

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

NegativeRole59:06

Juwan Johnson is tied with Ville Lafleur as the second passing option in the Saints offense behind Chris Olave.

Insight page

Kenyon Sadiq

PositiveSleeper104:24

Sadiq is available in 84% of Yahoo leagues and is a sneaky tight end option who was taken early in the draft with strong pedigree. He scored a touchdown in Week 1 and with Mason Taylor now week-to-week, Sadiq will get even more opportunity. He missed time before the season due to injury but is expected to ramp up and become a fantasy factor sooner rather than later.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection50:00

Kyle Pitts is 'totally droppable' in Boone's view because Drake London's return and Michael Pennix's presence eliminate his fantasy value. Boone notes that in 14 games with Drake London since 2025, Pitts was TE17 in usage; in games without London, he was TE1. Now that London is healthy and Pennix is back, Pitts is not a fantasy asset. Boone ranks Pitts as TE20 rest-of-season, noting 'Pennix is just going to be staring down Drake London the whole time.'

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection47:27

Matt Harmon ranks Kyler Murray ahead of Drake Maye this week and expresses confidence in his performance, noting that Murray should be solid as long as he stays healthy; Harmon acknowledges the risk of betting on players to rebound but likes what he's seen from Murray's offense.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

PositiveRole61:22

Despite playing more snaps last week, Lemon is not getting the target opportunities; Wicks is receiving the targets instead, and Lemon is viewed as a mid-to-late season player at best due to training camp injury.

Insight page
NegativeBreakout61:32

Lemon suffered an injury in OTAs/training camp, which historically means rookie receivers won't hit the ground running early in the season; he's more of a mid-to-late season player rather than an early-season contributor.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveMatchup38:50

Titans pass defense has allowed league-high 80.6% completion rate to wide receivers and ranks 31st in yards per target to receivers; they've allowed five different receivers to post 70+ yards or a touchdown in two games. Nabers would be a top-10 receiver in ideal circumstances against this vulnerable secondary.

Insight page
NegativeInjury39:03

Popped out his right shoulder on an innocuous play in Week 2 and popped it back in on the sideline; had shoulder issues in college. Matt Harmon is taking a cautious approach and has ranked him WR19 instead of his normal range due to injury concern. Risk of season-ending injury if he gets banged up again, which could lead to early rest or shutdown.

Insight page
PositiveRole40:41

Jameis Winston's arrival and John Harbaugh's conservative coaching philosophy may limit Nabers' target volume. Harbaugh doesn't want to live in high-variance, turnover-prone territory, which could lead to a run-heavy approach rather than airing it out. Week 2 momentum was completely lost after a promising Week 1 debut.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeRole19:53

Lloyd was started in the RB2 spot for the first two weeks but benched in Week 3; the Packers rushing attack has not provided the value that was expected, and Lloyd has not been a reliable fantasy contributor.

Insight page
NegativeBust35:00

Marshawn Lloyd struggled in Thursday's loss to Atlanta, and Boone is 'ready to drop' him. Boone cites the Packers' offensive line as a 'huge problem' and notes the run game 'has nothing.' Lloyd's lack of athleticism and inability to elevate the run game, combined with the offensive line's struggles, make him droppable in Boone's view. The Packers ran the ball only eight times for 17 yards, and Boone sees no fantasy value from the backfield until Josh Jacobs returns.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveProjection40:00

Matthew Golden posted 100 receiving yards and a touchdown in his 'coming out party' performance, with Winks ranking him as a low-end WR2 for the week. Winks argues Golden could be ranked as WR16–WR20 rest-of-season because his usage through three weeks is 'easily in the top 10' and possibly higher. Golden showed standout traits despite some drops and miscommunications, including a back-shoulder catch over the corner and a tight-area touchdown grab. Winks notes the volume will be there and the matchups are favorable (Buccaneers next week, then banged-up Bears secondary).

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury58:08

Mike Evans is banged up and unavailable, reducing his fantasy relevance; Harmon notes the Buccaneers' receiving corps is depleted with Marcus Robinson also hurt, forcing the team to rely more heavily on other options.

Insight page

Nicholas Singleton

NegativeBust48:32

Nicholas Singleton is referenced as a cautionary example of a player who was briefly on rosters before being dropped, used humorously to illustrate the volatility and risk of holding certain players.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeInjury49:15

Puka Nakua is not progressing in his rehabilitation according to Sean McVay, creating uncertainty about his availability; if Nakua misses time, Terrence Ferguson would move into the number-two receiver role for the Rams.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveMatchup28:03

Judkins is running back 33 in points per game through two weeks but faces the Carolina Panthers in Week 3, who are allowing the most fantasy points to running backs; the first two matchups against Jacksonville and Tampa Bay were historically tough run defenses, but this is a buy-low opportunity with significant upside potential.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout29:20

Judkins is a surprise smash of Week 3 despite poor recent production (12 carries for 21 yards, 1.8 yards per carry last week) and being held below 50 rushing yards in 8 of his past 12 games; the matchup against Carolina's weak rush defense (allowing 6.3 yards per attempt) combined with a limited practice report (personal issue, not injury) makes this the week to see if he can unlock his potential.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveMatchup31:40

Barkley is facing the Chicago Bears on Monday night in Week 3 after leaving Week 2 with a stinger; he is practicing and intending to play, and the Bears are allowing 2 yards before contact per attempt (second-worst in NFL), which should provide lanes for Barkley to produce at a high level similar to his Week 1 performance.

Insight page
PositiveProjection32:00

Barkley's talent has not diminished; he showed elite juking and filling at the first and second level in Week 1 when given lanes; the Eagles offense is passing more and the offensive line is gelling, which should support a strong season for Barkley.

Insight page
PositiveProjection61:02

Eagles' use of six-lineman sets to help the running game provides another reason to be excited about Barkley's turnaround this season.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

NegativeDepth Chart33:00

Tank Bigsby was expected to miss practice in Week 3 due to injury concerns, but Saquon Barkley ended up being the one practicing and projected to play; there was confusion around the backfield injury status heading into the week.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveProjection49:22

Matt Harmon has moved Terrence Ferguson to tight end 13 in his rankings and made him his bold prediction for Week 3, projecting Ferguson to finish as a top-three fantasy tight end; Harmon cites Ferguson's nine targets last week (seven more than the third-place receiver), noting he caught six of them for 54 yards and a touchdown, with significant upside remaining given the Rams' lack of proven depth at receiver beyond Devante Adams.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeMatchup35:03

McLaurin is wide receiver 76 through two weeks and faces the Seattle Seahawks in Week 3; he was talked up heading into the season but has not panned out as expected so far.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeInjury24:00

Etienne was reported as limited in practice, which affected Kamara's waiver wire value and usage outlook for Week 3.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeProjection50:00

Tucker Craft had a poor performance with two miserable drops and does not look like himself post-injury. Boone notes Craft 'does not look the same necessarily' coming off injury and suggests moving him down in rest-of-season rankings from a potential top-5 TE to 'mid to low end tight end one.' Winks adds that Craft's regression is multi-faceted: he was already regressing in yards-after-catch efficiency before the injury, and now the injury compounds the issue. Additionally, Craft has gone from being 'one of the best run blockers' to not knowing 'where he's even going,' which is hurting the Packers' run game. With Matthew Golden getting double-digit targets, it will be 'really hard for craft to pay off for fantasy.'

0:00Big show for you today is the Yahoo Fantasy Forecast is presented by Toyota, the official automotive partner of the NFL.
0:06All season long, Toyota is celebrating the passion, traditions, and unforgettable moments that make football America's obsession from fantasy football to every kickoff, rivalry, and Sunday ritual.
0:14And we have a lot to get to today.
0:16First and foremost, our guy Matt Harmon is sitting this one out, so I am handling hosting duties.
0:21And that starts with Hayden Winks and I recapping the Falcons win over the Packers on Thursday night.
0:27Who saw that coming? Great performance from Atlanta in that one.
0:30Lots of big fantasy stat lines to go over.
0:32Then Josh Norris jumps on with me to talk through his biggest Week 3 questions, and we'll be opening up the mailbag and answering your questions as well.
0:40A lot of running back situations up in the air, and we'll help you sort through those.
0:45I mean, some people are saying this is the greatest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Forecast ever.
0:50Others are saying they miss the soothing sounds of Harmon's voice.
0:53Either way, we are getting you ready for Week 3, so let's get to it.
0:57What's going on, everybody? Welcome to the Yahoo Fantasy Forecast Nightcap.
1:01I'm Justin Boone, stepping into the host chair here for our guy Matt Harmon, who is somehow taking an early bye week.
1:07I don't know what that's all about. Even producer Colin is off tonight, so apparently I didn't get the memo that today
1:13was the day that everybody was going to take off.
1:16But fortunately, we got an amazing crew here at Yahoo.
1:19JB leading the way behind the scenes and joining me to do the recap, like he always is for these Thursday night recaps, the man himself, Hayden Winks.
1:27Hayden, what's going on, dude? Speaking of takeoff, how about Drake London taking off for 194 yards?
1:32B. John Robinson, 194 yards. And I'll throw out a little Matthew Golden 100 yards while we're at it.
1:37But yeah, pretty fascinating game here. Glad we can watch the Falcons and not, you know, just smack our head into the
1:43wall because I believe they're in prime time for a couple weeks in a row from here.
1:48It's like getting this performance was very timely. They are.
1:51And it was kind of funny because for most of this game, I was getting ready to do this show and I
1:57was going to be like, well, it wasn't the Lions-Bills game from last week.
2:01And this is unfortunate. We had to kind of get through this one.
2:05And yet in the end, like most of the fantasy assets came through in this game.
2:10There were a couple that didn't and we'll get to those.
2:13But overall, some really big fantasy performances. I think we have to start with the Falcon side, though.
2:18We have to start with the more positive stuff.
2:21And what a difference. Like to watch this team struggle through the first two weeks and all due respect.
2:26I mean, I don't know how much respect that they're owed after the performances that they had.
2:31But Cooper Rush and Jack Strand, they tried. The fans were looking for Stranding it out there.
2:36He was not the answer. Michael Panix Jr. is the answer.
2:39It looks like he is a competent quarterback. He can keep the trains on track here.
2:43And really, he made this offense look completely different than it has looked the first two weeks.
2:48Well, with Michael Panix, he was never going to be like running around too much, which I think his return from the
2:55ACL construction makes a little bit more sense to me because he's always just going to throw the ball to Drake London.
3:01And that's the best part about Drake or about Michael Panix.
3:04There is 12 games between Panix and Drake London heading into this one.
3:08He had a 34% target share in those games.
3:10And then tonight, he has a 40% target share.
3:13Well, guess what? Good things happen when they throw the ball to Drake London.
3:17There was not enough throwing the ball to Drake London in the first two weeks.
3:21So the fact that we get another 40% target share for Drake London, he was the wide receiver three on average in
3:27those 12 games with Michael Panix coming into this one.
3:30So I would say Drake London, I'm not sure what the rest of the season rankings were looking like for Drake London heading into this one.
3:38I mean, we could probably move him up 20 spots in overall rankings, probably from like the third round back into the early parts of the second round.
3:46So I think of all the winners in this game, obviously Bijan goes crazy.
3:50To me, the big winner is Drake London, where he's firmly back into the every week wide receiver one.
3:55Doesn't matter the matchup because Michael Panix just wants to throw the ball to him.
3:59And it took a little while in this game to get that connection going.
4:03Like in the first quarter, it was pretty rough.
4:06They were trying to ease Panix back in. They were leaning on the running game.
4:10They were throwing a lot of short passes, a lot of screen stuff.
4:14I was a little bit worried in the first quarter.
4:17I'm not going to lie. And then eventually you could tell Panix got a little more comfortable out there and they started pushing the ball downfield.
4:24And it really was just all Drake London all the time.
4:27I'm glad you brought up the stat because yeah, last year before Panix got hurt, London was the wide receiver three overall
4:34behind, I think just JSN and Puka. Like he showed us over a pretty long stretch last season that he has almost elite potential for fantasy.
4:41And I don't know if I'm going to move him up that high in the rest of season rankings, but definitely belongs in the top 10, top 12.
4:49Again, he has that kind of upside and it's great to see.
4:52We know Bajon Robinson is fantastic. We don't want to spend too much time on him, but like this guy, just otherworldly.
4:59There's like a few players, like just in my lifetime watching football, there's a few players where you see them on the
5:05field and they just kind of seem like they're moving different than everybody else.
5:09He's kind of that guy right now. Like he is just completely moving different when he cuts.
5:14It's just so smooth and fluid and making plays, but also has some physicality, can meet those defenders, can push the pile
5:20a little bit, just a great player. Everybody, if you took them second overall and you felt bad about not getting Jameer
5:26Gibbs, which on the teams where I ended up with Robinson, yeah, I felt bad I didn't get Jameer Gibbs.
5:32But man, this is the kind of upside that he has.
5:35This is the ceiling for him. Just a huge, huge game from Bajon Robinson and the other B.
5:40Robinson, Brian Robinson. Yeah, why not? Pretty good stat line from him too.
5:44Yes, definitely. So yeah, if you drafted B. Robinson over B.
5:47Robinson on accident, you're all right tonight. But with Bajon, the standout trait, it's his deceleration, which sounds kind of funky, but
5:54his ability to stop and then take off from that point, that is what makes him so special.
5:59Like there's other players like Jameer Gibbs, for example, could get to the corner a little bit better than Bajon Robinson.
6:05But in terms of like you have to hit the brakes and then change direction, he's the best in the NFL at that.
6:11And that is the standout trait for him. They didn't even have to get him going that crazy in the receiving game
6:18in this one because every single time he touched the ball, he was making a guy miss initially.
6:23He has just like just enough power to kind of break a couple arm tackles too.
6:27But it is really that deceleration. And I would say this game, watching the Falcons running backs and then the Packers running
6:34backs, it was one of the most staggering differences in pure running back talent.
6:38If you were just a scout watching these two, it was night and day.
6:42Marshawn Lloyd, when he stops and then when he has to change directions, that takes a while for him.
6:47And he does it with zero consistency. And then Caleb Johnson just doesn't have the athleticism.
6:52Just pure watching the game, that was as staggering of talent at running back that I could possibly remember.
6:57Shall we shift over to the Packers a little bit?
7:00I mean, it's an easy transition to talk about that backfield in Green Bay.
7:04I had some hope. I think you did too, that maybe this could be a game where Caleb Johnson gets something going.
7:10Like last week, it was eight for 32. Seemed like he brought a little something in that game.
7:15The coaches mentioned that he gave them a little bit of a spark.
7:19I thought this would be the kind of contest.
7:22And this is the part that I got wrong tonight.
7:24A lot of the projections and rankings turned out okay because there were so many points and because there were so many yards put up and touchdowns.
7:32The one thing that I got wrong was how this game was going to play out.
7:37I thought the Packers were going to control things.
7:39I thought there'd be an opportunity for them to get this running game going.
7:43And that offensive line is a huge problem overall.
7:46The run game has nothing, like you're saying, right?
7:48Like the backs aren't elevating things. The offensive line is struggling out there.
7:52I don't know. Like, I just think none of these backs are going to step up.
7:57I think that's the problem now. I'm ready to drop Marshawn Lloyd.
8:00I don't know that Caleb Johnson is going to get enough work to be the answer there.
8:05And I do think he has the most juice in the backfield.
8:08And yet, I just don't think he's going to get enough volume.
8:12Maybe he doesn't know the playbook well enough. I'm not sure what it is, Hayden.
8:16But there's no fantasy value coming from this backfield until maybe Josh Jacobs comes back.
8:20And we don't know when and if that's going to happen.
8:24You could drop all the Packers running backs. And then for Josh Jacobs, we got the news about, you know, the ceiling of the video.
8:31And that makes it more likely that that video could come out.
8:34It kind of comes down to the local police department if they want to release that.
8:39But it's a gray area, so we don't know when Josh Jacobs is going to be returning.
8:44I would say this about Jacobs. He has no shot behind this offensive line.
8:48Like this Packers offensive line going into the season was already a disaster.
8:51Then they lose Zach Bacabuele, their best tackle. And the interior, they're still like trying out guys and see who's going to be in the starting lineup.
8:59Aaron Banks wasn't available. They ran the ball eight times and it went for 17 yards.
9:04Jordan Love dropped back 54 times. He only got sacked once.
9:07But because it was such a predictable offense, Jordan Love is retreating over and over again.
9:11And like the fact that he only took one sack in this night is like goes to show like that.
9:17He's just like trying out there. But this is also against the Falcons backups at edge rusher, defensive tackle, cornerback one.
9:23There is backups everywhere. I think that the play that really just stood out to me is that fourth and one attempt.
9:29They're trying to stay in this game. They're down in the red zone and they can't even have the confidence to run the ball up the middle.
9:37They obviously do play action. Jordan Love goes out to the right side, pretty much throws the ball away.
9:42This is the Falcons backup running or backup edge rushers backup everywhere.
9:46And you can't run the ball for one yard when you need it.
9:50Like that to me is just a huge, huge negative signal.
9:53Like this team is nowhere near the playoff picture in this division.
9:56This is going to be an unserious run game, even when Josh Jacobs comes back.
10:00So if you can trade Josh Jacobs away, I would think about doing that.
10:04The good news is when they drop drop back, it's going to two guys only.
10:09So I think that's like the only saving grace here.
10:12But the Packers as a serious team in 2026, it is way over solely because the offensive line.
10:17Yeah. And you mentioned it. The receivers are the saving grace for fantasy five for 100 and a touchdown for golden seven
10:23for 96 and a touchdown for Watson. Jaden Reed being out of the picture here, possibly for the rest of the season.
10:29Of course, that helps consolidate things. But both these guys are showing have shown before this game that they had a chance
10:36to be really good for fantasy this year. This is kind of golden's like coming out party, if you will.
10:41And he's somebody that I had ranked in the wide receiver to range this week.
10:46Watson, I had up as a low end wide receiver one.
10:49And we can kind of make the case that that's where those guys belong.
10:53I think rest of season. Yeah. Boom. Where would you rank Matthew golden rest of season?
10:57Because I think you can make the argument that he's like wide receiver 16 because the usage is going to be easily
11:04in the top 10 through the first three weeks.
11:06It might even be higher than that after I run my model there.
11:10And he's obviously he's making some struggles like he has a couple drops there.
11:14Like there's a couple of miscommunications where Jordan love wants to throw in the back shoulder and he's running upfield.
11:20He's an inexperienced player. But when you're that fast and he's making those plays in the air like that ball over his
11:26shoulder where he stacked the corner and then also had to make an adjustment down the field.
11:31That was a really special moment for Matthew golden.
11:33I also thought the touchdown where that was like the ball was thrown maybe a yard or two behind him.
11:39And he's still able to make that grab in tight areas.
11:42Like to me, those are standout plays. It's not the perfect game for Matthew golden.
11:46But like there is like some standout traits and the volume is going to be there.
11:51So like, would you be like, would it be that crazy to call him with the wide receiver 16 wide receiver 20 rest of the year?
11:58There's other factors too, right? Like you think about some of the other guys in that range, like a Malik neighbors, you
12:05know, not having his quarterback now and dealing with an injury and the concerns.
12:09I mean, you know, the possibility that if the season goes sells for the giants and if neighbors is dealing with that
12:15shoulder injury, still do they shut him down at some point?
12:18That kind of thing. Mike Evans dealing with injury DJ more like there's a bunch of guys in that range that might
12:24not be able to hold their spot and might come down a little bit.
12:28And yeah, I think you can make a case that he's sort of mid to low end wide receiver to the volume through three weeks is fantastic.
12:36And then you look at the matchups coming up, right?
12:39We're talking about how bad the run game is.
12:42And I don't love the matchup for the run game going against the bucks next week, but I do love the matchup for the passing attack.
12:49And after that, they get the banged up bears secondary.
12:52Like there's going to be big games for these Packers receivers.
12:55It's going to continue. And that's going to be one great thing.
12:58I mean, Tucker craft, not really seeing it from him yet.
13:02I mean, he got like one kind of fluky catch that ended up in his hands by chance.
13:07You know, he got some passes thrown his way, but doesn't really look the same necessarily in my mind coming off the
13:13injury and all the volume is going to the receivers at this point.
13:17So he's somebody that I think we'll have to think about moving down a little bit in terms of rest of season
13:23rankings, maybe more of a mid to low end tight end one, as opposed to a guy that had a chance to
13:29be in the top five, perhaps as it gets healthier, as the season goes along, if this team has to lean on
13:35the passing attack this much, but having golden out there as someone that's getting double digit targets, it's going to make it
13:42really hard for craft to pay off for fantasy.
13:44The Tucker craft was going to be difficult call this year because he was so awesome after the catch.
13:50But it was like to the point where it was definitely going to regress even before the injury.
13:55Then you tack on the injury and now you're like kind of regressing this like multiple ways.
14:00And then this season, Tucker craft like he had two miserable drops in this one.
14:04It just does not look like himself. We have not seen like the huge yards after the catch one.
14:09There's a couple of plays in like week one where he was wide open, but we have not seen like the signature Tucker craft.
14:16What's been so crazy to me is part of the reason why they've been so bad running the ball is Tucker craft
14:23has gone from like one of the best run blockers to this year.
14:26It just like does not know where he's even going.
14:29It's like, it's weird. What's happening with Tucker. I do not recognize this player.
14:33I do think what you just said, though, does make a lot of sense in the second half of this year.
14:39Once he does ramp all the way back up and feels like himself, he's playing all the snaps right now.
14:45It's just like feeling like himself. There could be enough pass volume where he's still going to go crazy.
14:50But at the same time, I know we're both doing rankings.
14:53Tight end rankings right now is difficult. Like there is like 16 guys I want to squeeze into the top 12.
14:59Like the difference between like tight end five and tight end 18 right now is pretty narrow.
15:04And I think that if you did have somebody else that you felt more comfortable with over Tucker craft right now, like
15:11I would understand having him be on your bench.
15:13I think it's just like a really deep position right now.
15:16I mean, I almost cried when I saw where I ended up putting Colston Loveland in my rankings this week.
15:22But it's like, how can you justify having him in the top 12 right now?
15:26Like it's that the matchup's bad. He's been bad.
15:29Anyway, that's a conversation for another day. What about the tight end on the other side?
15:33I mean, we just talked about Tucker craft. I'm not surprised that all that Kyle Pitts isn't producing.
15:39I think Kyle Pitts is totally droppable. And you brought up the stats there for Drake London last season when Pennix was out there.
15:45Kyle Pitts, it was a tale of two seasons.
15:48When Drake London was on the field, he was not really usable for fantasy.
15:52And then when Drake London got hurt, all of a sudden Kyle Pitts became like the number one fantasy tight end for a little bit.
15:59And that's the thing that people remember coming off last year.
16:02But now Drake London is clearly healthy. Pennix is back.
16:05And Kyle Pitts is somebody that I'm just not that excited about in fantasy.
16:09Yeah, I had the numbers 14 games with Drake London since 2025.
16:13He's a tight end 17 in usage. And then the other games, he was like the tight end one.
16:18So he's he's almost like the insurance to Drake London.
16:21So it's almost like if you have Drake London, like you can pick up Kyle Pitts and have him on your bench.
16:27But otherwise, I didn't even think about Kyle Pitts this week.
16:30I think he's my tight end 20 in rankings.
16:33It's just the reality when Pennix is just going to be staring down Drake London the whole time.
16:38That's just where the ball is going to go.
16:41And they just they're OK living this style. The next leading target getter in Atlanta was Jahan Dotson with three targets.
16:47It goes from 10 to three. And then everyone else has two, three, 10 to three.
16:51That is that staggering stuff. And it's actually not that staggering because this is what happened for like two months in a row with Michael Pennix previously.
16:59I'm trying to pull it up now, I believe.
17:01Correct me if I'm wrong or maybe you don't know.
17:04I think you and I are playing each other and not the expert league that we have for Yahoo, but we have another.
17:11I think you and I are in. I'm pretty sure you and I.
17:15Yes, I'm playing against August Turtlenecks in that. And we both had guys going in this game, right?
17:20You if I can pull it up here, you had Drake London.
17:23Congratulations. I had Watson and Tucker Kraft. So not a great outing for Kraft.
17:27But yeah, kind of a draw. We're both with huge projections.
17:30129 for you, 125 for me. So that's going to be a pretty good matchup to watch.
17:35And I need that win, man. I've started kind of rough in that league, even though my team is fantastic.
17:41I'm so happy with my team. But bad luck so far for me in that one.
17:45And anything else from this game that you want to talk about?
17:49Any other notes that you had that you wanted to bring up here?
17:53Yeah, I got one last thing. I just Christian Watson.
17:55That's a 796 for one. You know, he's going to go down as one of the best picks in fantasy.
18:01Like that kind of area around six, seven, eight.
18:04I know like we're all in different style leagues there.
18:07But that range of wide receivers like he was going next to like Marvin Harrison, like players are like being straight up dropped.
18:13And he's not only just been a slight win there.
18:16I think the rest of season rankings like he would have a case to be a top 10 wide receiver.
18:22He's always been a model breaker in terms of like his usage versus how many points he scores.
18:27Well, now he's getting like top 12 usage on top of that.
18:30So he's an excellent football player. Everyone else is worried about the injuries there.
18:34If Christian Watson stays healthy after what he did last year in the same calendar year after tearing his ACL and what
18:41he did in 2025 and what he's done in three weeks and like what he looks like on tape to me, like
18:47this to me is like a league altering selection, especially the wide or the running backs early on.
18:52Those guys are crushing it right now. And then you needed to find wide receiver production elsewhere.
18:57Christian Watson is absolutely on that list. I just want to give a big shout out to him because this felt like
19:03a quiet 96 yards in a touchdown game from him.
19:06And that's just kind of been the MO for like the last couple of months.
19:10Yeah. Last year he showed it over a very long stretch there, wide receiver 16 and fantasy points per game.
19:16And now we're seeing him take that to even another level.
19:19It's fantastic. And it hurts Hayden because we talked about on the running back ranking show this week, you and I, that I drafted very well.
19:27I thought at the top of my draft in our expert league, and I just didn't come away with an RB two and it is killing me.
19:34Now, if I had made that Chuba Hubbard pick that you ended up getting, my team would be unstoppable in that league.
19:41So sad. Yeah. Yeah. I might have to. Yeah.
19:43Well, Christian Watson for Chuba Hubbard. I might have to move one of my great wide receivers.
19:48We start three and I have Watson, Olave and Drake London, who now is coming on here.
19:53So that receiving core is great. And yet I was starting Marshawn Lloyd the first two weeks in my RB two spot.
19:59I was wise enough to put them on my bench this week though, but regardless, great, great night for Watson.
20:05I think it's going to be a great season for Watson.
20:08Not too much positive to say for the Packers in terms of their rushing attack.
20:12We thought there might be value there. I was wrong about that.
20:16And the Falcons now seem like they have come alive here.
20:19Hayden. Very interesting. Even though there's only a couple of guys we're going to consider for fantasy there, it's going to be
20:25very exciting to watch the Falcons play here over the next couple weeks.
20:29That's it for you. That's all you got. No other notes.
20:32That's it. All right. Then that will do it for us here after a big win for the Falcons.
20:37Hope everybody got off to a hot start in their fantasy matchups like Hayden and I did in that office league.
20:43If you didn't, don't worry. You have Sunday. You have Monday.
20:47There's lots of time to make a comeback here.
20:49Big thanks to Hayden for riding along with me on this one.
20:53It's fun doing these night recap shows. I hope I get a chance to do these again, but that is all for
20:59us tonight and we will see you next time.
21:01Okay. That does it for the Thursday night talk.
21:04Now let's jump into my conversation with Josh Norris and the rest of the week three preview.
21:09Let's get into it. What is up everybody? Welcome to the Yahoo fantasy forecast, which is presented by Toyota, the official automotive partner of the NFL.
21:16All season long. Toyota is celebrating the passion traditions and unforgettable moments that make football America's obsession from fantasy football to every kickoff rivalry and Sunday ritual.
21:24And if one of your weekly rituals involves listening to Matt Harmon on our preview shows, I do have some bad news for you.
21:31No Harmon today. I am in the captain's seat for this one, but don't worry.
21:35It is still a hell of a day to talk ball and joining me to do just that Mr.
21:41Josh Norris, who I am seeing a lot of this week.
21:44This is the second of three shows that we're doing over just a span of a few days here, Josh.
21:49Hopefully by the end of the week, we are not sick of each other, but that is not possible, right?
21:55How you doing, man? Boon, I want to check in on you.
21:59Actually, I want to take a moment here because, you know, I looked yesterday at around 1230 PM Eastern and I saw
22:05you had a bit of a meltdown in our expert league.
22:08And I'll talk through this with the audience here.
22:111230 PM. Boone drops Chris Bell for Nick Singleton.
22:13241 PM. I love it. Boone drops Alvin Kamara for Daman Claiborne.
22:16440 PM. Boone drops Nick Singleton for Alvin Kamara.
22:19Boone, what is going on in your life? Are you just having a crisis being 0-2 in this league?
22:24Josh, well, a couple of things. There are a few things here.
22:28I'm going to even add one more insane thing that I did over the last 24 hours in fantasy, which normally I never do.
22:35And that is, I accepted a trade in dynasty where I thought I was the other team and it was an analyst
22:41league and I thought I was getting a great deal.
22:44And I just saw it while I was working.
22:46I clicked accept. And then I noticed, wait a minute.
22:49I have that guy on that team. Fortunately, when you're in an analyst league, everybody's pretty cool.
22:54I immediately messaged the owner. He was like, yeah, yeah, that's fine.
22:58We'll trade it back. So we're all good there.
23:00I didn't make a complete club on that one.
23:03So this one is, you know how desperate I am at running back in this league.
23:07We talked about it on the running back ranking show yesterday, right?
23:11I absolutely screwed up the middle rounds early in the draft.
23:14Very happy. I got Jonathan Taylor early. My receiving core is incredible.
23:17Incredible. Christian Watson, Chris Olave. I think Drake London's going to get back on track here.
23:22Those picks are all great. My running back two spot.
23:25I bought into the Marshawn Lloyd thing. That is not really working out so far.
23:29I think we're gonna have a question in the mailbag later about Marshawn Lloyd and that Packers backfield.
23:34So we will talk about that a little bit later in the show, but I am trying to find anything I can at running back.
23:41And that means I have to go crazy on the waiver wire because we don't have a FOB budget.
23:47So I can't just be aggressive and outbid everyone.
23:49I got to be really fast on the waiver wire against all the other analysts.
23:54And I got to get these guys. And in my mind, what happened?
23:57Everything changed. I dropped Kamara at a point when it was like, it's Alvin Kamara.
24:02He's not going to be good. I know he's not going to be good.
24:06I just know that he got a bunch of touches last week.
24:09So maybe I could use him potentially in a tough spot.
24:12And then like an hour later, we find out that Travis Achan is actually limited in practice.
24:17And now it's like, well, maybe Kamara will get even more work this week.
24:21Who knows? So it's awful, Josh. It's an awful situation for my running back two spot.
24:26That is why all of this occurred. And I'm glad you brought it up because it's quite funny.
24:31Yeah. I mean, it's always a good thing when you have to spend 2000 words explaining yourself on three transactions.
24:36Look, and you said you're desperate running back. So you have to try things out.
24:41Well, you only had Nick Singleton on your roster for four hours.
24:44So did you get a taste? And you're like, no, I'm good.
24:48And I do apologize, Boone. I called you 0-2 in this league.
24:51You are 0-1-1 infamously in this league because of that.
24:54And that is all your fault. That one tie.
24:56By the way, in this league, Boone, awful outcome.
24:59I have Saquon Barkley, Ken Walker III, and Brees Hall.
25:02So I don't feel your running back pain at all.
25:05Yes. How are your other positions doing? Are you all right at receivers?
25:08Are you all right? Tight end. You're doing okay.
25:11I'm good, man. I think I heard you at one point this week talk about your quarterback situation.
25:16I think you're a Drake May guy. But again, someone else that we're going to talk about a little bit later on this show.
25:23But Josh, this time of year, I do think is so important because it takes a few weeks and we're seeing there.
25:29I'm trying to figure out how this picture is going to look this season, how some of these backfields are going to unfold.
25:36And after one week, the picture is pretty blurry at this point, right?
25:40After one week, you only get kind of shapes and images potentially, but you don't really have a clear picture of how it's going to work out.
25:47After two weeks, it starts to come a little more in focus.
25:51We're figuring it out a little more. I always feel like after three, four weeks, that's when the picture becomes much more clear.
25:57That's when a lot of metrics become a lot more predictive.
26:00That's when I feel a lot better about my rankings the rest of the way.
26:05So we're still in like the early phases. We have two weeks.
26:08Week one, there could be outliers. Two weeks, still a very small sample size.
26:12But once we get through this, once we get to like October and beyond, then we kind of have a good idea
26:18of how the rest of the season is going to play out.
26:22And he could kind of just react to injuries and things that pop up along the way.
26:27But again, we still have to figure a lot of this stuff out.
26:30And that's why you are here today, Josh. That's why we're going to talk about some of these key situations.
26:36We're going to try to provide some clarity for fantasy managers.
26:39And on today's show, we're going to start it up as usual with Josh's six pack of fantasy questions surrounding the week three slate.
26:46Then I'm going to take over for Harmon and I'm going to highlight the three games that no one cares about.
26:52I'm not exactly looking forward to that, but we're going to have some fun with it.
26:57And then we are going to actually hit the mailbag and answer your questions here.
27:01And there were a lot of great questions that came in.
27:04We're going to be focusing on running backs for that segment.
27:07So we're going to answer a bunch of those questions in the Toyota fantasy hotline.
27:12So let's get to it here, Josh. Welcome to Josh's six pack of questions.
27:16Oh, how I missed it. I missed that so much.
27:18We had that all last year. It was always funny to me every single time that it continues to be.
27:24But Josh, the floor is yours, man. What is our first big question headed into week three?
27:29Well, it kind of goes into your intro and these first two questions are linked here a little bit.
27:34So the first one is which of these disappointing running backs kickstarts their season in week three.
27:39Okay. Here's the list. Saquon Barkley, Quinshon Judkins, who is the running back 33 so far in points per game against the Carolina Panthers.
27:46Devon Achan running back 24 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
27:49Jalen Warren running back 29 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
27:52And Jadarian Price running back 39. So Boone, since I'm your guest, I will allow you to pick the first name.
27:58Who do you think is going to turn around their season in week three for everyone that drafted them?
28:03I think when you crafted this question, you probably figured who I was going to pick here.
28:08And that is Quinchan Judkins. Yeah. We talked about him on the running back ranking show.
28:12If people didn't listen to that one, go to Josh and Hayden's channel.
28:16Go check that out. We did that episode yesterday.
28:19Tons of good tidbits in that one from everybody.
28:21We knew going into the season that the first two matchups were going to be very tough for Judkins.
28:27We also knew that he plays for the Cleveland Browns and you know, you got to be worried about this offense in general.
28:33But I was interested. I said before the season, I thought there was some potential that this Browns offense could maybe be a little bit better.
28:41And we're seeing at least some early signs of hope, Josh, that these young receivers are coming in, giving them a little more in the passing game.
28:48And yeah, they had to get through these two really tough matchups.
28:52The Jags run defense, the Bucks run defenses, you know, historically good, very tough to go against.
28:57But now we're going to get an opportunity this week against the Panthers to see what he can do.
29:02The Panthers given up the most fantasy points to running back.
29:05So he's the guy that I am going with here.
29:08He's a guy that I'm actually willing to go out.
29:11And if I can get him very cheap, I'm going to go out and buy low on him because I think there's
29:17a lot more to be unearthed with him this season.
29:20Fantasy was. Yeah, I think he's the surprise smash of week three.
29:24And it's a surprise because, you know, he had 12 carries for 21 yards last week against the Bucks, 1.8 yards per carry.
29:30That was in a win. And we don't think the Browns are going to win many games.
29:35And we know that we want to play running backs in wins.
29:38He also has been held below 50 yards in rushing in eight of his past 12 games.
29:43He has the lowest success rate in the NFL by a running back this season.
29:48So, Boone, I guess I'm asking us together, why are we in on Quinn John Jenkins?
29:52You laid out your points. They're totally valid. And for me, it's as simple as the matchup.
29:57Like Carolina's rush defense is not the Bucks or the Jaguars.
30:00Obviously, the Bucks have beat Ava. The Jaguars are big, long and strong all across our defensive front.
30:05And in fact, they're actually allowing the highest rush yards per attempt at 6.3.
30:09That's facing DeAndre Swift, Kamenungai and Bajon Robinson so far.
30:12So, yes, we got this news that Quinn John Jenkins is limited in practice today.
30:16It's just a personal issue. It doesn't seem like it's an injury.
30:20So, yeah, Boone, we should look back on this.
30:22My one fear is if it doesn't hit for Quinn John this week, when is it going to hit?
30:28Because this is the situation where there are two and a half point underdogs.
30:32And if Deshaun plays turnover free football, it should be the environment for Quinn John to do very well.
30:37And if he doesn't, then we have some real concerns to talk about.
30:41Yeah, if he doesn't in this game, then he just becomes a touchdown or bust RB3 the rest of the way.
30:47And you really don't feel good about having him in your lineup.
30:50So that would be very unfortunate. I will also mention like last year, we saw the talent last year.
30:56But last year, prior to the first injury, not the second gruesome injury, the first injury when he hurt his shoulder, his
31:02numbers before that, he was incredibly efficient. He was producing like a high end RB2.
31:06So there's a chance that he's shown, at least for a short stretch, he has that potential.
31:11He belongs in the NFL. He belongs as a starter.
31:14He can be a very good player. But yeah, this is the week where we really need to see it happen.
31:20So that was my first pick from your group here.
31:23Who are you picking second? Oh, I got to talk about Saquon.
31:26And maybe this is coping or, you know, defending my bags here.
31:30But look, I need this game against the Chicago Bears defense on Monday night on Saquon Barkley's resume.
31:35I have to have it. And Boone, we know that he left in the first play of this past week against the Titans with a stinger.
31:42He is practicing today. And Jeff McLean has reported that Saquon Barkley is intending to play a Monday night football, which is
31:49fantastic because the Bears are allowing two yards before contact per attempt right now to opposing running backs.
31:54The second worst mark in the NFL, if this offensive line left guard and center can work as a unit together and
32:00they give Saquon Barkley two yards before contact, he is going to have a monster day.
32:05I do not think the talent of Saquon has diminished.
32:07We saw it in the opener when he was given lanes, juking out safeties, filling at the first and second level and all that type of stuff.
32:15It's just he needs that sliver of space a bit more often.
32:19Like last week would not have been a blow up spot for him, Boone, but at least he would have gotten the
32:25goal line touchdown that Tank Bigsby did. In fact, I would say that Saquon playing in that game was worse than him
32:31not playing for us as fancy wise, because I would have just taken the zero and plug someone else in that starting lineup, you know.
32:38But again, I believe Saquon is going to have still a strong season in that offensive lines can get better and gel
32:45together and the Eagles aren't going to stop running the football.
32:48And it starts here in week three against the Chicago Bears.
32:51And I don't think that we should take a lot away from that Bears game last week with the rain and the
32:57quarterback injuries and all that sort of stuff that happened.
33:00But we just saw Aaron Jones hit them up for over 100 yards, right?
33:04You're telling me Saquon Barkley can't do something similar.
33:07And then we also have, we were talking about it before the show, Josh, this weird rug pull situation where Saquon got
33:13banged up last week and we kind of expected it seemed like there was a good chance he was still going to play in this game.
33:20But I was telling people just in case if Tank Bigsby's out there in your league, go pick him up, make sure he's rostered.
33:27And then we get to practice here and it's actually Tank Bigsby who's missing practice and it's Saquon who's out there and
33:33projected to be fine and play in the game.
33:36There's been a couple of situations like that this week, the Broncos backfield, which is another one that we have a question
33:42on a bit later that we'll talk about. But getting mixed injury information coming out of Sunday and then we get to
33:49the early part of the week, which I think we should actually consider moving the waiver.
33:53I know some leagues do this to Wednesday night instead of Tuesday night because you have at least a little bit of injury information.
34:00Wouldn't really help with the Eagles one though, because this is their first practice of the week.
34:05Still, it would be nice to have that first day of injury information.
34:09I'm with you. I think there's a lot more for Barkley here.
34:12I like what we've seen from the Eagles passing attack.
34:15I think that bodes well for this offense as the year goes along.
34:19So yes, I do believe this is coping for you for sure, because I feel like every time I've talked to you,
34:25you've mentioned Saquon Barkley at some point. I've tried to make the case for him, but I think you are right.
34:31I think we're going to see something better moving forward from Barkley as long as he can stay healthy and sounds like he is here.
34:38Is there anyone else you want to talk about from this list?
34:41Nope, not at all. I'll just say if people move waivers to Thursdays, that would also save you from yourself for making
34:48three pointless free agent moves in your leagues more often.
34:51So I'm all for that, saving you from yourself, like we talked about at the top of the show.
34:56Next, let's do this version with wide receiver spoon.
34:59All right. So Emeka Egbuka through two weeks is wide receiver 34.
35:02He faced the Vikings this week. George Pickens, wide receiver 52 against the Baltimore Ravens.
35:06Jamison Williams, wide receiver 58, face the Jets. Malik Neighbors, wide receiver 60.
35:10And they hit the Tennessee Titans. And then Terry McLaurin, wide receiver 76 versus the Seattle Seahawks.
35:15So five names there. I talked up a bunch of them this summer.
35:19And Boone, none of them have panned out how we wanted to so far.
35:23I mean, George Pickens is the obvious choice. I'll take the low hanging here.
35:27And I know that the matchup is tough. It's a tough one.
35:30The expectations last year got thrown out of whack because when CeeDee Lamb was sidelined, he was one thing.
35:35And when CeeDee Lamb came back, he was another.
35:38And it wasn't completely two different worlds. It was just he was producing like the number one overall fantasy receiver without CeeDee Lamb.
35:45And then he was more of a low end wide receiver, one high end wide receiver, two when Lamb came back.
35:51I believe it was from week seven on. So he's still, in my mind, in that range.
35:55He belongs in that range. This is going to be a high scoring game.
35:59One of the highest projected point totals on the week, if not the highest.
36:03So he's going to be fine. There's some issues with the offensive line and Tyler Smith being out.
36:09And I think it'll help eventually when he comes back.
36:11But still, this is just a slow start for Pickens.
36:14I'm willing to write it off as that. I think he's going to get back to it.
36:19If it doesn't happen this week, it's going to happen very soon.
36:23But I think there's a good shot that we'll see him bounce back in this game.
36:27How about you? So for Pickens, he is six targets, three catches, 28 yards, and then most recently eight targets, six receptions and 40 yards.
36:34The thing about him is he is the player that is regressing back to the average.
36:39Like last year, he scored way above expectation. He was running incredibly hot based on the targets that he was getting.
36:45This year, he is doing the exact opposite. He is running cold.
36:48And some of that goes back to week one, you know, where he had a handful of drops and then also like some penalties on top of it.
36:56So I guess my concern is we're now in a pretty long sample size of him and CeeDee Lamb being together.
37:02Right? I mean, look at this. His producers are on top of it.
37:06Joel Smith is on top of it. Like, I think there was a case to be made heading into the season, especially
37:12how they were drafted, that the Cowboys had quote unquote two wide receiver ones.
37:16I'm starting to wonder, Boone, if maybe, maybe George Pickens should have been drafted closer where Tee Higgins was selected.
37:22And you have like a true wide receiver one, wide receiver two versus again, you know, George Pickens being on that two, three turn.
37:29I agree with that. Like, I think Tee Higgins is sort of a mid range wide receiver two in my mind.
37:35And I agree. It does seem like Pickens was a little too high.
37:39Again, that speaks to what I was saying about.
37:41I think people last year got a little confused with how well he produced when CeeDee Lamb was out and how that
37:47kind of inflated his totals for the year. Where when CeeDee Lamb was back, he was just more of that, you know,
37:54low end kind of fringe, low end wide receiver one, high end wide receiver two.
37:58And Tee Higgins is not far off that. So I do agree with that aspect of it.
38:03But the Cowboys, this is a fast paced offense.
38:05This is an offense that's passing more than most teams.
38:08The opportunities are going to be there. The guy's extremely talented.
38:11I just I'm not that worried about Pickens compared to like some of the other names on this list.
38:17I have like genuine concern about. OK, I'll talk to the league neighbors then.
38:21I mean, this is a game. We know Jameis Winston is coming in.
38:25But despite that, the Giants are still three point favorites here.
38:28OK, like what must that feel like if you're a Titans fan that you get a backup quarterback in week three and
38:34you are three point underdogs against them? Anyways, if Jameis Winston has anything left to give, not just in football, but especially
38:40in fantasy football, he needs to show it this week.
38:43Right. Yeah. And if he does show it this week, the Malik neighbors is the one that's going to be the biggest beneficiary of that Tennessee so far.
38:51Their past defense has allowed a league high 80.6 completion rate on throws to wide receivers.
38:5631st in yards per target to wide receivers so far.
38:59Elante Taylor, who they are playing on the outside, is not an outside corner.
39:03They're putting like a square peg in a round hole like my eight month old is trying to learn how to develop,
39:09you know, his hands and functions and all that type of stuff.
39:12Um, the one issue with Malik neighbors is that he popped out his right shoulder on like a very innocuous play and
39:19then popped it back in on the sideline. This didn't have issues like so far in his college career, but excuse me,
39:25in his NFL career, but it was a big deal in college.
39:28So that's on my radar. And hopefully he gets through this game and scores a bunch of fancy points, but boom, it's
39:35also one of those that, you know, with the quarterback going down, it's, it's on my radar that like towards the end of the season.
39:42And if neighbors isn't a hundred percent, maybe they just, you know, wind him down and into season a bit early.
39:48The injury is why I'm taking a bit of a cautious approach.
39:51Like I haven't ranked right now. I believe wide receiver 19.
39:54So that's a lot lower than Malik neighbors normally would be.
39:57And if he was completely healthy and like you said, Jameis Winston was doing his usual Jameis Winston thing.
40:03He would pepper him with targets. And this is a great matchup.
40:06The Titans defense, like you said, it's one we're targeting.
40:09They've let five different wide receivers this year, put up over 70 yards and or a touchdown against them in two games.
40:15I mean, like they are just hemorrhaging points to receivers.
40:18So neighbors under ideal circumstances would be easily inside my top 10.
40:22But I'm with you that that shoulder injury is scary.
40:24Now, if he gets banged up in a game, whether it's in this game or whether it's as the season goes along,
40:31he is now always at a much higher risk of just kind of throwing in the towel, taking the rest of the week off.
40:38Or potentially at some point taking the rest of the season off.
40:41And that absolutely scares me. Such a talented player.
40:44But man, just an awful run out for him in terms of his health and then kind of what's happened around him.
40:50Yeah. And I am a bit nervous about how Harbaugh is going to want to work with Jameis Winston.
40:55He doesn't want to live in this high variance, turnover worthy play department, right?
40:59An environment. So that leaves me a bit of concern that they'll just want to run the ball, play defense, win in the margins versus airing it out.
41:07I mean, I don't expect him to air it out.
41:10But even if, you know, it's just a normal passing game, right?
41:14Malik neighbors week one, Boone, I thought it was really promising.
41:17I understand it was on like a smaller number of snaps, but at least he finished the game.
41:22He was on the field. You could talk yourself into a couple of those catches.
41:26He could stay on his feet in the future and win after the catch.
41:30And then week two happens. And like all momentum is just rug pull to use your term away from Malik neighbors here.
41:36So I do wonder if we get back to some of that optimism that we saw in week one, albeit with Jameis at quarterback.
41:43I don't know if you want to talk about any of these other receivers.
41:47I do have one that I want to discuss a little bit here because I think it's important.
41:52And that's Emeka Buka. Hasn't been great so far, like you said, with all of these receivers, but I'm playing the role of Harmon today.
42:00So you know what I said, I'm going to go check out reception perception.
42:04I'm going to see what Matt Harmon says about this one.
42:07And he actually charted them this week. He wrote a little bit about him.
42:11And the breakdown here for Abuka for him is that he's playing well.
42:14He's in that Z receiver role. We know Zach Robinson talked about that before the season.
42:19That's where his skills are kind of lined up to play.
42:22So all of that is good. The production hasn't really been there yet.
42:26Harmon's advice though, and this is why I wanted to bring it up.
42:30Buy low before the eruption game occurs. He thinks it's going to come.
42:33Now I think that's the right call. I don't know if this is going to be the eruption game for him, right?
42:40Cause you're going against the Vikings this week. You have an offense that seems just discombobulated to begin with.
42:45And I think that's, what's kind of holding him back at the moment.
42:49And now you're going to put them up against Brian Flores.
42:52I don't really love that for him, but they get the Packers in week four.
42:56I think that's a much better matchup. Maybe that's where it'll happen.
43:00Regardless. I do think Abuka is a buy low and I'm with Harmon there.
43:04And I wanted to bring that up. Yeah. The question was about week three.
43:08I do not think week three is the time for Emek Agbuka, right?
43:11Like Baker has been playing like a chicken with his head cut off.
43:15And now you're facing Brian Flores, who's going to confuse you pre post snap, send blitzers, extra pass rushers from multiple different angles.
43:22That's a recipe for disaster for how Baker is playing at this moment.
43:25So maybe a switch flips and he decides that, you know what, I'm going to stay a bit patient and actually like
43:32go with the flow of the offense. Uh, and if that's the case, and the other part of this is their left
43:38guard is allowing so many, you know, pressure looks from twists and stunts and gains and all that kind of stuff up front.
43:44So I'm a bit nervous for Emek Agbuka this week, but I agree with you at some point that should click.
43:50And that might happen in week four. We discussed this as we're going through the running back rankings on that show yesterday,
43:57along the way, we're talking about week three, but you're kind of trying to, like I mentioned at the beginning, like you're
44:03trying to figure out how it's going to look down the road, how we can take advantage of values.
44:08And we mentioned on that show, a few guys who were by lows, who maybe even the matchup in week three, isn't
44:15great, but that's a way that you might be able to pry them away from their manager because the manager is going to look on Yahoo.
44:22They're going to see that matchup. They might see the red next to the name, right.
44:27And be scared of it. And then you can actually get them away versus next week.
44:31If they're going against green Bay, everyone's talking about them at that point.
44:35It can be a little harder to get those trades done.
44:38So that's why I still like to point it out, even though, of course, today we are focused on week three here.
44:44Speaking of three, do we want to move to question three, Josh?
44:48Let's do it. And I poked fun at you about the expert league.
44:52I'll now turn the mirror on myself. I drafted Drake May in that league as quarterback three.
44:56Should he already be benched in fancy lineups? It's a simple question.
45:00I mean, Boone, he's opened the season as the quarterback 27 and the quarterback 25.
45:04That was against Seattle and Pittsburgh. So I think it kind of goes back to the question of, hey, those two defenses
45:10actually rank like the top two in terms of defensive EPA so far this season and DVOA.
45:15But is it going to get any better this week for Drake May, especially without AJ Brown, who was supposed to, you
45:22know, take this offense to the next level as they face the Jacksonville Jaguars and only have a team total of 21 and a half points right now?
45:30Yeah, the story with May, if you go back to like his rookie season, right, he had nine outings where he played
45:36at least 85 percent of the snaps. He never finished lower than QB 17 in those games as a rookie.
45:42And he showed us that he had this incredible floor.
45:44The rushing was there. There's a variety of reasons for it.
45:48Then last year he comes out and we know he was the QB three and fantasy points per game behind Josh Allen and Brock Purdy.
45:55Um, but he also was great last year. Josh, do you know how many times Drake May scored less than 14 fantasy points throughout the entire season?
46:02No, I don't inform. It was only once, only once all year was he below 14 fantasy points.
46:08And that's incredible, right? Like that is so good.
46:10That's almost never giving you like that weak losing performance.
46:13Um, and yet this year, the first two games, those are weak losing performances, right?
46:17You're not getting much from your quarterback position. So that's very scary to me.
46:21Could he come out? I mean, I thought there was a chance that Bo Nix was going to have kind of that
46:28bounce back, get right game last week, uh, you know, going into that matchup and it didn't really happen.
46:33Like it was an okay game where he had like 15 fantasy points.
46:37I'm kind of looking at something like that for, for Drake May.
46:40I have him right now as QB 14. And I don't have a lot of faith that this is going to be
46:46the spot where he all of a sudden blows back up.
46:50He's showing us now that he apparently has a lower floor than I thought.
46:54Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like the tight window extended play throws that he was so awesome at last season are just not hitting as well.
47:00And on top of it, they just lost their right guard and Mike on Winu as well.
47:05Um, and as you said, Bo Nix and Deshaun Watson have only had one touchdown a piece against this Jaguars defense.
47:11Uh, I guess the followup question to this is the two popular names, Tyler Shuck, Bryce Young, both have higher projected team totals.
47:18Uh, the Panthers a point more. And then if we look at the new Orleans saints, uh, it's about a point and
47:24a half more at 23 and a quarter. Are we already at that spot with those passing offenses?
47:29Those guys throwing for a lot of yards and a lot of touchdowns that we should take the risk.
47:35Even if they, you know, didn't have the top four quarterback season that Drake may did last year, we should totally reset already.
47:41I in my rankings have them in the two spots right ahead of him and I'll do one better.
47:47I even have Kyler Murray ahead of him in my rankings this week.
47:50Um, which again, we're taking a chance on all of those things because we know when players show us what they are
47:57that, you know, past fantasy production is one of the most predictive things out there.
48:01So if Drake may all of a sudden snaps back and has a great game, could he get things back on track?
48:07Yes, of course. But I like what we've seen from those offenses.
48:11And I think Kyler is going to be pretty good as long as he gets back and he can stay healthy.
48:17Yeah. Unfortunately it's for me, CJ Stroud or Drake may, and we know CJ has no one to throw to, but they
48:23do face the Indianapolis Colts in that defense. So that's my conundrum in this league, but that's, that's enough about me.
48:29Should we go to number four? It could, it could be worse.
48:32You could have Nicholas Singleton on your team for about an hour or whatever it was.
48:37Yeah. Why don't you just drop your quarterback and, and, and, and freak out and I'll just pick him up.
48:43How about that? We can make that work. You know, Gino Smith is out there too.
48:47Like Gino versus Drake may for week three, I think is an intriguing one as well, but maybe we'll get into that question a bit later on.
48:55Okay. Number four, after Terrence Ferguson's Monday night football performance and who can a cool, uh, quote, not progressing in his rehabilitation to get back on the field.
49:03That's directly from Sean McVay. Where does Terrence Ferguson rank for you among tight ends if, and when Pukunukua misses?
49:09And then the follow-up is, is he just an overall flex candidate?
49:12If you already have a good starting tight end on your roster?
49:15Absolutely love this question. I'm glad you threw it in there because I don't think we've talked enough about Terrence Ferguson this week.
49:22Maybe you have on your shows. I haven't really gotten a chance to do it too much here.
49:27Um, I have two things on it. One, I have moved him up to tight end 13.
49:32So just kind of on that fringe, you know, and I think he could have a much better week and I don't want to spoil.
49:39We do a group piece every week on Fridays where we have a bold prediction for the week.
49:44Ferguson is actually my bold prediction this week, Josh.
49:47And the bold prediction is that he is going to be a top three fantasy tight end in week three.
49:53And we saw him get nine targets last week.
49:55That was seven more than the third place person in that office.
49:59Of course, Devante Adams, 10 targets caught all of them.
50:01Just time machine dialed up the vintage performance. You know, all his accolades, all his flowers go to him.
50:07Devante had a phenomenal game, but they really don't have much else proven in terms of this passing attack and it is
50:13Terrence Ferguson and 54 yards and a score was a good game in that one.
50:17I think there's an even higher ceiling here for him.
50:20I mean, like I said, nine targets, he caught six of them could have been a lot bigger of a day for him there.
50:27So they don't have that proven number three. He is that guy who's stepping up into the number two spot.
50:33And I'm really excited, man. Like one of the things that I think we talked about on Sunday morning on fantasy football
50:39live was that whenever last year, either Puka or Adams were out of the lineup, we saw Ferguson score a touchdown.
50:45What happened a week last week? That's exactly what happened.
50:48He scores a touchdown in that game. So this guy's very talented.
50:51Is it possible, Josh, that like, and it depends how long Puka's out for, like, they're not really talking very positively about it for this week.
50:59And this could be an injury that could linger.
51:01Could he be like what we had hoped Colston Loveland was going to be?
51:05Like, could he all of a sudden be this guy that steps up and ends up having like a top five kind
51:12of season or even, you know, just being a mid range tight end one for fantasy would be a huge win for Ferguson.
51:18Yeah, it's possible. I think Harmon put it as some of his route running and then attacking the football and all that
51:25type of stuff kind of looks like Bambi on ice.
51:27Like he's not quite as fluid or in control of his limbs as Colston Loveland is, who maybe is like the evolved version.
51:34But the target competition is very different. And, you know, his quarterback and Terrence Ferguson is not missing multiple games here.
51:40This projection is just insulting, I think, to what T Ferg is going to bring to the table in week three.
51:46I'm guessing that Puka is probably not factored in here.
51:49There's no way that that's the projection if Puka Nakua's got a zero.
51:53Yes. I will say the matchup on paper is difficult, right?
51:56It's against the Denver Broncos. But the usage has improved as you outlined.
51:59Like seven of his nine targets last week were in the slot, including his touchdown.
52:04The Rams did play 13 personnel on 53% of their snaps without Nakua.
52:07They ran 13 personnel on 31% of their pass plays.
52:10And he actually ran more routes in 11 personnel last week than he did his entire rookie season.
52:15And Boone, I asked that flex question because like if Titan, by the way, is the most deep position in fantasy football right now.
52:22And I don't think I've ever been able to say that.
52:25So if you drafted like Travis Kelsey or if you drafted Dawn Kincaid and you at the end of your draft selected
52:32Terrence Ferguson or you picked him up after week one when he had a dud and someone else dropped him panic move.
52:38I think now more than ever, Titan should be in consideration for flex spots because of, you know, the cycle that we're
52:44in with the NFL with more heavier personnel sets.
52:47That is decreasing the quality and especially the quantity of receivers on the field and receivers that are available to us in fantasy football.
52:54And the heavier personnel looks then means when they pass out of those, then the tight end like here with the Rams
53:00becomes the second or third best pass catcher on the team.
53:03So we have eliminated like the Cole Beasley types in the NFL and in fantasy football.
53:08And now we're getting the Juwan Johnson's or the Terrence Ferguson's, for example, of pure receiving tight ends that are the second
53:14or third best pass catcher on teams that throw the football well or throw it a lot.
53:19And in that regard, I do want to start moving forward instead of like the wide receiver 36.
53:24Hey, plug in or even like the running back 30, plug in a tight end and see what happens.
53:29That's where I was going to go with it.
53:32The running backs are kind of a similar situation with so many teams deploying like committees or tandems and some of these
53:38teams not having great offenses and it really lowers the projection for those guys.
53:42And all of a sudden you start to look at either deeper receivers or potentially tight ends this year.
53:48And yeah, I feel like every season, Josh, before the year, it normally goes the same every year.
53:53We say, man, tight end, so deep, tight end is so deep.
53:56And then the season starts and you realize actually there's like seven or eight good tight ends and then the rest is just a complete crapshoot.
54:04But this is the first year in a while that I can remember where we're like, man, there are a ton of
54:10guys at that position who are producing, who you could see 50 yards and a touchdown week in and week out.
54:16And yeah, I think that's a really good call.
54:19And there are some teams though in the past, I have not had a lot of success putting a tight end in the flex.
54:25I normally never want to do it. This is a year where I have actually gone that route and I think it's totally viable.
54:32Okay. That's all I've got here. Should we move on?
54:35Let's keep going. Yeah. We, we got one coming up that I'm very excited to debate and let, you know, a change that I made based on it.
54:43But anyway, maybe it's the next one coming up.
54:46Okay. Next question. We got to rank these flex options for the ranker himself, Justin Boone.
54:50Okay. So the names I'm posing to you and a lot of these have been pickups over the first two weeks of the season.
54:57So I think that there'll be, you know, notable names for our audience here.
55:01Devon Bellay, Saints wide receiver against the Las Vegas Raiders this week.
55:05Debo Samuel versus the Arizona Cardinals. Dontavian Wicks at the Chicago Bears.
55:08And then Trevon Henderson, who missed week one, came back in week two, but faces a tough rushing defense in Jacksonville.
55:14So, so often we obviously do running back ranking shows and wide receivers, but maybe the biggest conundrum are the pure flex spots.
55:21And you have to decide between wide receivers and running back.
55:24So Boone help the people. What's your list here?
55:26Yeah. Sunday morning. We handle a lot of those on fantasy football live.
55:30People can send their questions in there and we, we answer those.
55:33So this is the one where I saw this question in the rundown for the show.
55:38It made me go take a look at my rankings and it made me question where I had these guys.
55:44And I moved Trevon Henderson to the bottom of this list.
55:47I had him second. I have now moved him to the bottom based on that matchup.
55:51And based on the fact that I don't think that last week was a sign of him just completely taking over this backfield.
55:58I think they're going to reset. They're going to come back this week.
56:02They're going to use both of those backs. And when last year they were in tough matchups, like very tough defenses, especially tough run defense.
56:09If you think about the playoffs, they tended to just lean on Ramondre.
56:13They tended to just kind of go with the guy they trust.
56:16Now coming off a week where he's fumbling the way that he did, maybe they don't have quite as much trust in
56:22him at the moment, but I think they're going to give him a chance to get this back to being sort of
56:29that committee with both of them involved. I don't necessarily think that last week was a sign that all of a sudden
56:35Travion Henderson has taken over this backfield. So for me, because of that Jaguars matchup and how scary that defense is against
56:41the run, it's moved him down to the bottom.
56:44So the other three, I would listen to an argument.
56:47Okay, so he's number four. He is number four.
56:49So I would listen to an argument for any order that you wanted to put the three receivers in.
56:55I have it. Debo, Dontavian Wicks, and Devon Vele, but I could see all of these guys coming through this week.
57:01So I think, and depending on, you know, the Devontae Smith injury, if he misses, I'm kind of viewing this practice for
57:07the Eagles as, you know, your typical Wednesday one.
57:09So it's not a big deal if they miss.
57:12And so if Devontae misses tomorrow, then it's a bigger deal because that's Monday night football.
57:17I think I agree with you. I think I'm going to go Debo number one because, I mean, this 49ers team is projected for 28 points.
57:24He went from running a route on 53% of dropbacks in week one up to 80% last week with, you know, Mike
57:30Evans being mostly a full-time player, but some, you know, snaps he takes off.
57:34And then the Demarcus Robinson injury, Debo Samuel is all the way back to being a full-time player for this team.
57:40We know in week one, he got like three targets out of the backfield.
57:44And I think if they score 28 points, there's a good chance that Debo Samuel has one of those touchdowns.
57:50You know, I mean the, the draw a play on a napkin stuff that Cal Shady can do with him in the
57:56red zone always seems to appear in matchups from this tree.
57:59And, you know, I think he's going to take one to, to Mike before let's put it that way.
58:05Yeah. He's like a frisky wide receiver three for fantasy.
58:08I didn't expect that he had a lot left in the tank and there's an element of like, they don't have any other choice.
58:14Like Mike Evans has been a little banged up here to Marcus Robinson's hurt.
58:18You know, I'm so sorry that the strip club is closed here for a couple.
58:23Months. Hopefully we can reopen that later in the season, but it would have hit so good.
58:28I know. I know. It really looks good off the start, but what can we do?
58:32We have to adapt and I'm keeping them at IR spots.
58:35I haven't dropped them anywhere. We'll see if he can do something down the stretch, but for the time being, Debo has
58:42a huge role in this offense in an offense.
58:44That's going to be projected for a very big point total every single week.
58:48So yeah, he's got a great shot to score a touchdown.
58:51He's got a great shot to get targets and some carries out of the backfield potentially.
58:56So he, in my mind, he's got to be the top guy here.
59:00And like I said, for me, that's a wide receiver three in terms of rankings.
59:04And then I think I would put Ville next.
59:06I mean, he has at least five catches in four of his past five games going back to last season.
59:12And we know now without Jordan Tyson, he's playing 93 and 92% of the dropbacks to open the year.
59:18The Saints and the Raiders. I mean, it kind of depends on if the Raiders want to try to like grind this
59:24one out or if they're going to hit some of those explosive plays like they did last week to shorten some of
59:30their drives and score some long touchdowns. That's very difficult to do against a Brandon Staley defense.
59:35So I think that's part of the reason why the Saints are only projected for 23 and a quarter points like the
59:41the total for this game is quite low at just 43 and a half points.
59:46But I still think Ville is an integral part of this passing attack.
59:49And I think he is the borderline second passing option, obviously behind Chris Olave, but kind of tied with Juwan Johnson here.
59:56So I would rank Ville second. To me, this is volume versus like upside, in my opinion.
60:00Right. Ville has the volume. That's the fast paced offense.
60:03You know, he has that role, at least until Jordan Tyson comes back.
60:07We don't know when that's going to be. So he's like a pretty solid play.
60:11If you want to play it safe, you go with him.
60:14And again, like you said there at the beginning of this, we don't know about Devon Smith.
60:19Like we'll keep an eye on that all week long and we'll see that situation.
60:24Um, which did play a little bit less last week and you would expect that as the weeks go along that McKay
60:30Lemon might take on a bigger role. I think they got Darius Cooper involved last week.
60:34That's the one is more like that. Yeah. That's kind of like a weird aspect of it.
60:39He's more of like that wide receiver for flex play, like more a little boomer busty.
60:44I know he's boomed in the first two weeks, but really why he's getting the nod for me is the matchup.
60:50He's going against that banged up bears defense. And I think they'll be able to get over the top against them.
60:56And I think he's probably going to have another big player too in this game.
61:00So I'm more than willing to play him. But again, it's upside in my mind is with Wicks, but the safer play is probably Valey.
61:07Yeah. Since I'm so invested in the Eagles this year because of Saquon, I was asking a bunch of Eagles reporters this
61:14week just about how they can fix things. And they mentioned that Darius Cooper is playing because he's the best blocking wide receiver on the team.
61:21Now, some of the snaps last week were for Wicks, but they believe that his snaps moving forward might actually take away
61:27from Makai Lemon because, you know, the production that Wicks is putting out there versus Lemon is noticeably different.
61:33And Darius Cooper then can be closer to the formation and kind of worked as a pseudo tight end.
61:38Also, they have no tight ends that are healthy.
61:41I mean, they just signed Zach Ertz. And they mentioned that they might run more six offensive linemen sets.
61:46And if there's six offensive linemen in the field and they pass out those looks too, that's, I think, entirely favorable for
61:52someone like Wicks as well, because there might only be really two route concepts out there on the field.
61:58So the more the Eagles do to help their running game and then pass out of those sets, the more it can help Devontae Smith and Dontavian Wicks.
62:06Yeah. I figured when you brought up the extra lineman thing that we'd be talking more about Barkley there, that it's just
62:12another reason to get excited about Barkley's turnaround for sure here.
62:15Yeah. Yeah. I'm with you. I really like Makai Lemon, but even though I said he played a little more last week,
62:22yeah, the opportunity, the targets are still going Wicks way.
62:24He's not really getting it yet. And he was always going to be, when we saw what happened, we've seen this with other rookie receivers before.
62:32If there's an injury that occurs in training camp, or in his case, OTAs and training camp, there's no chance that they're
62:38going to hit the ground running early in the season.
62:41Right? So we'll see if he can get it going eventually, but he's more of like a mid-season or later season player.
62:47I still believe in the player. All right. Last question.
62:50The Lions have allowed 41 and 30 points so far this year.
62:54So simple one. Can the Jets keep up? Like, should we play all of our Jets, you know, fantasy options, not just
63:00Garrett Wilson and Brees Hall, but one night Adnay Mitchell and, and even Gino Smith.
63:04Now the markets would say otherwise here. Boone. I mean, they are only projected for 20 and a half points compared to the Lions 27.
63:11So they are again, projecting for many, many fewer points in the 40 and the 30 that the Lions have given up so far.
63:18Look, I don't like to go against, you know, let's say the computers and all that type of stuff.
63:24But I kind of feel like there's some shootout potential here, especially with like Aaron Glenn knowing exactly the buttons to press against this defense.
63:31So I'm in on Adnay Mitchell and Gino Smith this week.
63:34What about you? I don't know if I have the stones to play Gino Smith, like your decision there with Drake May.
63:40I don't know if I can go that far with it, but yeah, I'm, I'm interested in this Jets offense this week.
63:46And moving forward, we talked about Brees Hall on the running back show yesterday.
63:50Like this is a defense that gave up a hundred scrimmage yards to Travis H.
63:55And Kendra Miller in week one, 139 yards to James Cook last week.
63:58Brees has looked very good this year. He's producing pretty well.
64:02And he's even catching the ball like that. It's just great.
64:05They talked before the season that this offense was going to be built around him, built around Garrett Wilson.
64:10They didn't really talk of Ady Mitchell as much though.
64:13Beat reporters were mentioning that Ady Mitchell and Gino Smith were having this connection and we're seeing it come through.
64:19So I'm willing to play all those guys. And I think somebody that is so sneaky right now that you could put in your lineup.
64:26You don't have to, because there's so many good tight ends, but Kenyon Sadiq is a guy that I think we're going
64:32to see a lot more from as the season goes along as a player that was taken early in the draft has that pedigree.
64:39He's available in 84% of Yahoo leagues. And with Mason Taylor now week to week, he's going to get even more of an opportunity.
64:46And when we talk about rookies dealing with injuries before the season, he was one of those guys.
64:51He missed a bunch of time. So we knew it was kind of going to be a slow ramp up for him.
64:57I was excited in week one to see him score a touchdown, to see him use them the way that they did.
65:04So he's somebody that I think is going to be a fantasy factor before the year's out.
65:08And it's probably going to be sooner rather than later.
65:11Yeah. And the lines are missing three other defensive backs.
65:14Brian Branch, Kirby Joseph might not play this year.
65:17They just put Avante Maddox on into reserve as well.
65:20Look, I think that the Jets can protect against the lines pass rush, which has been top 13, really in both categories
65:26in terms of pressures and pressure rate and all that type of stuff, especially with Aidan Hutchinson.
65:31I really think Geno Smith can have a day here.
65:34Rich Rebar brought up in his worksheet that Detroit has allowed a league high five touchdowns against the Blitz so far this season when they have blitzed.
65:41And in two games versus the Blitz, Geno is 14 of 19 in completing his passes.
65:46So a lot of people are Cardinals curious. I've been Jets curious.
65:49And I think that's going to bear out successfully and fruitfully for me moving forward.
65:54I agree with you. I think there's a lot of opportunity for this offense and a team that people have just been
66:00down on for so long and for good reason.
66:02And all of a sudden, there's some very interesting pieces here.
66:06Garrett Wilson back in that fringe low end wide receiver one territory.
66:09Aidy Mitchell's wide receiver three flex. Like he does have that connection.
66:12That was not a lie with Geno Smith and he's producing and this is a great matchup for him.
66:18So definitely feel good about playing him and Braylon Allen, somebody that needs to be rostered everywhere because I don't want to see it happen.
66:25There's got to be some wood here. I can knock on Josh.
66:28But if we see Brees Hall go down, Braylon Allen is set up to get back in there and really do something
66:35in this offense with the way it's constructed behind that offensive line.
66:38And he's got a little bit of value as like a desperation flex.
66:42Heck, in the office league, I wish I had Braylon Allen.
66:45I'd be putting Braylon Allen probably in my lineup this week, Josh, if I had him on my team.
66:50That's how bad things are at the moment here.
66:53But are we going to see Geno Smith in your lineup or are we going to have to wait until Sunday to find that out?
67:00I might pick up three quarterbacks and drop all three of them in a four hour span.
67:05So I'm just going to keep you guessing. I'm going to keep you on your toes, Boone.
67:10And by the way, you saying there needs to be some wood for me to knock on when your entire background is
67:16just a wall of a former tree is quite a hilarious visual for me.
67:20The question is more whether I could reach it or not.
67:23And I reached it just fine here. But we're going to have to break when we come back here.
67:29I'm going to be teeing up the games that no one wants to watch this week.
67:33And hear me out. I am going to tell you why these games could make a difference for your fantasy matchups this week and for your fantasy season.
67:41And then we're going to be answering your fantasy questions a little bit later.
67:45You don't want to miss that. So stick around.
67:48All right. We are back with Josh Norris. And it is that time.
67:51Welcome to no one's games of the week. Kind of sounded like Josh yawning.
67:55Was that you that they got the sound bite there?
67:58It was a little bit. It sounded like you.
68:01Remember, everybody, this is a segment for the sickos here, right?
68:04We're going to talk about the three worst games on the slate, at least in my opinion.
68:09And I'm going to explain to you why I think you should care about them for fantasy.
68:14And Josh, this first matchup, man, like before the season, I think people would have dismissed it.
68:19Now it actually has some really fun elements here.
68:21Panthers. You're just missing it right now. I am not yet.
68:24I am not yet. Come on. These are two teams that for a while have not been great.
68:29I know this because, Josh, my wife is actually a Carolina Panthers fan, of course.
68:34Wow. She's a huge cat lover. She saw their logo.
68:37She wanted their merchandise. So we have one Carolina Panthers fan in my house and one Bills fan.
68:42But on the Panthers side here, we should give a lot of credit to their OC, Brad Isik, right?
68:47Like he took over play calling duties. This offense is absolutely humming.
68:51Really, really exciting through two weeks. We have to provide the caveat that they've played the Bears defense, the Falcons defense.
68:57That makes things a little bit easier, but they did what they were supposed to do and some in those games, right?
69:0337 points, 31 points. We talked about Chuba Hubbard on the running back ranking show.
69:07I think he's probably the best pick in fantasy so far through two weeks.
69:11Could go down as the best fantasy pick of the year here.
69:15Dalton Kincaid, probably also a really good one. But Chuba Hubbard, in my mind, number one.
69:19And that was even before Jonathan Brooks ends up getting injured, hits IR.
69:23He's out for six to eight weeks here. But Hubbard, three touchdowns in two games, two touchdowns as a pass catcher.
69:29This week, now he's getting the Browns. This should be a competitive game or a very positive game script for the Panthers.
69:35Carolina's favorite on the road here. I mean, we're walking a bit of a fine line with Hubbard because the 13 touches, 14 touches per game here.
69:43He's still getting it done. And you have to feel really good because he has no target, no competition for touches in that backfield.
69:50But Austin Eckler's in there for a visit, Josh.
69:52Like, A.J. Dillon is in this backfield right now and set up to be the number two.
69:57Like, this is Hubbard's backfield. Great fantasy play. We know with the passing game, Tedderall McMillan, Jalen Coker, both these guys have
70:03been phenomenal through the first two weeks. Darren Waller is back to being a streaming option for fantasy.
70:09This guy caught two touchdowns last week. Caught a touchdown in the opener.
70:12It was called back on a penalty. Otherwise, people are probably even more excited about him.
70:17And then it comes down to Bryce Young, who we mentioned earlier is a guy that I have up ahead of somebody like Drake May.
70:24I think is that borderline low-end QB1 this week.
70:27Somebody you could certainly play in fantasy. Thrown for a ton of touchdowns.
70:30Looking great. Man, Josh. Like, this is one of the most exciting offenses right now from a fantasy perspective.
70:36Then why insult them and call them a game that no one cares about?
70:40How dare you do this to the Carolina Panthers?
70:42One of the best offenses in the NFL through two weeks.
70:45One of the best stories in the NFL. Trust me, I have the receipts of how many people wrote off Bryce Young.
70:52Some might even work for this network. And one might even be my co-host.
70:56And look what he's done. Look at what the improvement is.
70:59You know? He's no longer too small. No longer he can't play.
71:02He is seeing the field because he actually does that, despite what people think of he can't read the middle of the field.
71:09And his anticipation and arm to these downfield passing attacks.
71:12Brad Idzik has taken everything up a notch. They are, you know, being a bit quicker to get to the line so
71:18he can work through motions and sets and change it if he needs to and see what the defense does.
71:24Other times, like for the Chuba Hubbard touchdown last week, it was a quick snap on fourth down at the goal line.
71:30That's entirely new here. Plus, again, pedal to the metal in week one, series one versus waiting until week 11 of last year of throwing down the field.
71:38I guess my big question here when we look at the matchup is that the Browns run the most man coverage in the NFL.
71:45Many of the big completions that we saw last week to Jalen Coker and especially T-Mac were versus zone coverage.
71:51That's how they could manipulate it with their movement and the routes and the concepts to find, like, these big voids in that area.
71:57So they'll have to win in the tight windows this week.
72:01And that's a bit of a different animal. They saw that in week one against the Chicago Bears.
72:06It was a bunch of double moves, and that's how Coker, you know, got the long touchdown and then another toe drag near the goal line.
72:13And so that's what I'm watching for here with the Panthers offense versus the Browns defense.
72:18And I think this is just making sure, Josh, that, like, everyone is aware just how good the Panthers have been, that this is not the old Panthers.
72:26This is the new Panthers. And I also think when it comes to the Browns, like the Browns have basically just had
72:32a spot locked in in this segment for I don't know how many years now, ever since it started, probably.
72:38Like, the Browns just have to be in here.
72:40And yet the Browns, I know Harmon's talked about being Cardinals curious.
72:44You talked about being Jets curious earlier. I'm kind of Browns curious.
72:47And I said this before the season that because they were getting those rookie receivers, that there's, like, a legitimate chance with Todd Monk in there.
72:55We could see this team pass more. They don't need great quarterback play.
72:58They just need, like, average quarterback play. I'm not sure we're quite there yet.
73:02Yes, it's mostly on two big plays, but those still count.
73:05We're not taking those away from him. That's the kind of receiver that he is.
73:10Touchdown scoring, making big plays downfield. He can do that.
73:13Casey Concepcion, he isn't getting quite as much playing time, but he's not that far off in routes run.
73:18And I think there's a lot more to be unlocked here for him.
73:22We haven't seen the big plays come yet, but he's still got a ton of talent and he's going to figure it out.
73:28And they're going to continue to use him more.
73:31I wonder if this team gets rid of Jerry Judy at some point.
73:35Like, does Jerry Judy really need to be a part of this whole thing when you have these two receivers?
73:40You have Harold Fannin Jr. at tight end. Quinjohn Judkins, we had that conversation earlier, but I got a lot of hope for him as well.
73:48And even if it doesn't work out for fantasy, there's an element of, like, hate watching this game, Josh, where if it
73:54goes bad, this is the Browns home opener. If Deshaun Watson comes out here and has a bad game, this crowd is
74:00going to turn on him very quickly. And that could be, like, weirdly entertaining to watch as well.
74:05I'll be honest, Boone. I would love Deshaun Watson to pull a Cooper Rush here and fumble on his first snap and
74:12throw an interception on his fourth snap. I would love to see it.
74:15I want to see the reaction. I want to see the chaos.
74:19Unfortunately, the line that the markets are giving here at just two and a half is on my radar a little bit.
74:25Like, I kind of think that, again, the markets believe that the Browns have a fantastic chance of winning this game.
74:31Look, the Panthers have missed 24 tackles on defense so far this season.
74:35That goes into the Quinjohn Judkins conversation that we had earlier.
74:38Also, if Casey Concepcion gets the ball after the catch, we know he can make moves and run.
74:43And Denzel Boston, to your point, has broken a few and that's how he scored his touchdowns.
74:48And then to Denzel Boston, on the outside, he's going to face off against J.C.
74:52Horn and Mike Jackson, who were very good last season, but really haven't been tested as much so far this year on, like, in-phase plays.
74:59And Boston, as you said, the wide receiver 19 and 10 to open the season.
75:04So it's on my radar. And the Panthers defense was miserable in week one and then very good in week two.
75:10So who are they? Like, what is the truth here?
75:13And if Deshaun Watson plays turnover free football, I think the Cleveland Browns win this game.
75:17I put it in there because I felt like it needed to be mentioned that we had to make the case for
75:23it because those are two teams that for a long time have occupied space here.
75:28But this is an interesting game for fantasy. It certainly is, as is the second game that I'm going to bring up here.
75:34Titans at Giants. The Brian Dable revenge game here, Josh.
75:37And let's start with the Giants. I think there's so much.
75:40Exactly. There's so much more to talk about on the Giants side.
75:44We'll leave Dable for a minute from now. With the Jackson Dart injury completely takes the wind out of the sails here for the Giants.
75:51We mentioned earlier, we were talking about neighbors, how this could still work out with the Titans defense.
75:56Really that secondary getting crushed by receivers. Jameis Winston, if he can hold his own here, we could see them put up some points.
76:03We could see them really come through if neighbors can stay healthy.
76:06And then there's my guy, Cam Scadaboo, right? Can Cam Scadaboo continue to produce?
76:10They played last week four different running backs, but we saw him get more involved in the passing game.
76:16He had four targets after having zero in week one.
76:18And there's a chance. You think about this coaching staff.
76:21You think about what they have, the quarterback situation now.
76:24Could they potentially lean on Scadaboo more moving forward?
76:27It's possible. I'm trying to stay excited about this Giants offense.
76:30Josh, is there any reason to still be excited here?
76:33Are you kind of losing hope now with Jackson Dart out of the picture?
76:37Because that's another thing here, right? When these teams have these significant injuries to stars, especially a quarterback, you lose some of that playoff potential.
76:44You know, everybody before the season tries to dream of being a Super Bowl winner.
76:48With Jackson Dart out of the picture, I think they probably realize that's not going to happen now.
76:53And how does that impact them a week later?
76:56I'll just reiterate that I think this game and the game plan is going to tell us a lot in-house of what they think of Jameis Winston.
77:04That if the contract that they gave him was just, hey, he's the glue guy.
77:08We don't really want him to start. Or if it's, hey, actually, he's one of the better second quarterbacks in the league.
77:14And when he goes in there, we're still going to throw the football a lot.
77:18Like, again, they are favorites in this game against a secondary that you should be able to throw on.
77:24Everyone is going to throw on the Tennessee Titans.
77:26They're going to be difficult to run on because of Simmons and company up front.
77:31And so what do they do? Do they say, actually, we're going to attack the strength of the Titans defense and just
77:37run the ball, play ball control, play defense, win the margins?
77:40Or are we going to actually live in this awkwardness, difficult gray area of, hey, is Jameis Winston going to hit his
77:46back foot and fire it on time to who the open receiver is?
77:50Or is he going to run around, throw it up for grabs against double coverage like he did in Monday Night Football?
77:56So it's going to tell me a lot of what they view of Jameis.
78:00And if, if, Boone, the rumors and the buzz gets a little bit louder that like Tom Palacero and company and Adam
78:07Schefter already mentioning that the Giants might trade for a quarterback here.
78:10That would be interesting. Before we move on to the Titans here, your thoughts on Isaiah Likely?
78:15Do you still think he's in that mix? Like after week one, it looked like he was going to be that almost Dalton Kincaid level breakout guy.
78:23You still have hope for him or are we bumping him way down?
78:26Well, the thing is, if they play ball control and if they run the ball, he's not going to be on the field nearly as much.
78:34Like he's back there for all the dropbacks. But then you have like Theo Johnson and Chris Manhurts and Patrick Ricard and
78:40all these other names that are just much better blockers.
78:43So I know we got the nine targets last week, but what?
78:46It went for like 33 yards. So obviously the opportunities there and in week one, it was all about the red zone production that he had.
78:54And he was a go to player for them in that area.
78:57I just have a feeling they're going to be in the red zone less often moving forward.
79:02Fair enough. And then on the Titans side, I think I want to talk about the Giants first because I remember last
79:08year when Harmon and I did this segment and it was the Titans every single week to the point where if I
79:15remember correctly, we might have like banned them at one point because it was just too obvious every single week.
79:20And I was hopeful this year, man. I was hopeful.
79:23Carnal Tate's there, like maybe with day ball there, you get more out of this offense and Cam Ward starts to develop.
79:30And yeah, he did some things last week. But right now, Josh, like from a fantasy perspective, this is the hardest one to make a case for.
79:37And I know in last week's game, they fought against the Eagles.
79:41They almost pulled off the upset in that one.
79:43But from a fantasy perspective, is there anybody in this offense that you really feel confident starting?
79:48You can't start the receivers. Carnal Tate's just somebody that you're maybe still keeping on your bench.
79:53Wando Robinson is doing nothing at the moment. Gunnar Helm, I think we knew that wasn't really going to work out.
79:59He was sort of a deep sleeper. That's not happening.
80:02There's just not much. And then in the backfield right now, we have Tajay Spears missing the first two practices of the week.
80:08They called it soreness yesterday. I'm not sure if there's an update on that yet today.
80:13Tony Pollard missed the first practice, but he's back out there today.
80:16This could be a spot against the Giants where maybe Tony Pollard can get into your lineup as like an RB3 flex type.
80:23But you just can't feel great having a Titan in your lineup at all for fantasy at the moment.
80:28Is it fair to say that the best Tennessee Titans asset in fantasy football is their defense for week three?
80:34Look, points for defenses, it doesn't matter about point totals.
80:37It's all about sacks and turnovers. So if you can generate pressure on Jameis Winston, if you get a fumble, a pick
80:43six, an interception, I mean, it wouldn't shock me at all, Boone, if we look back on this and the highest point
80:50getter from the Titans in week three is their defense.
80:52Well, we know who's not going to have a good game for them.
80:56And that's Nick Singleton, because he's not on my roster anymore in the expert league.
81:00Right. So there's no chance just now. Tajay Spears will be out and he'll get garbage time work.
81:06And he did have, he got one series last week.
81:08So they did work him in a little bit.
81:11We'll keep an eye on the injury to Spears and see if Nick Singleton, somebody that maybe later in the season, I
81:17always kind of talked about him as a guy that if they fall out of the playoff picture, which they're going to,
81:24maybe they want to find out what they have in their day three rookie back.
81:28And maybe they give him a chance there, but at the moment, even I'm struggling here to find a lot of positives to say about the Titans.
81:36Let's talk about the last one. Seahawks at commanders, normally defending Super Bowl champions would not make this spot, but this is
81:42a game that man, this matchup could be rough.
81:4440 and a half projected point total on this one, which is on the lower side.
81:49We don't know yet if Sam Darnold is going to be back or if it's going to be Drew Locke versus Marcus Mariota.
81:56Um, another one where before the season, you would have figured that, you know, this would be a game where we could get some fantasy fireworks.
82:03I'm not so sure anymore. Darnold limited in practice to start the week.
82:07Jadarian Price, George Helani also limited with injuries. We have no guarantee that price is going to play in this one.
82:13Even if he does, Emmanuel Wilson might get leaned on a little more because there's really no reason to overwork price.
82:19If he's not a hundred percent in a game that you would think that they'll be able to control with their defense
82:25and just being the, the much better team. And Jaden Daniels not being out there to, to be that wild card for Washington.
82:32Um, man, I mean, Wilson, I guess could be sneaky, you know, over 90 rushing yards last week.
82:37I mean, JSN is the guy that just makes this offense worth watching weekend and week out.
82:42And one of the best fantasy assets out there and congrats to everybody that drafted him because he looks phenomenal through two weeks.
82:48Josh. I will say, I think that fourth quarter last week for Seahawks was a bit of a sliding doors moment for
82:54Jadarian Price in that he got banged up with about two minutes to go in the third quarter.
83:00Uh, only played one more snap and no more carries after that.
83:03Emmanuel Wilson got 14 carries. Okay. And looked very good on them.
83:06Uh, I think Jadarian Price would have gotten like six or eight or even 10 of those.
83:11And that would have been sweet, not just for my fancy lineups, but that would have been sweet to see him get
83:18that because he's an explosive play machine. Um, and unfortunately on those Emmanuel Wilson looked quite good.
83:22And it's like to this point now where George Helani is way off in the distance.
83:27And now we're back to Jadarian Price and Emmanuel Wilson.
83:30And now Price has, you know, the shoulders last chest thing.
83:33And he's practicing on like a limited basis this week.
83:36It sounds like he's going to play, but we're not so sure.
83:39And then Emmanuel Wilson, while he got stuffed at times at the goal line, it certainly seems like he's earned enough favor to continue this running back split.
83:47So again, I just want to point out that like this game that we play can be so fickle and it can
83:54be so frustrating that just one injury has kept us away from like another 10 carries.
83:58I think for Jadarian Price and maybe a touchdown and some explosives on top of that.
84:03Um, but yeah, just quickly on the commanders here, Boone, I think right now they're two and 12 in their last 14 games.
84:09If my math is correct, two and 12 in their last 14 games, and they're going to have Marcus Mariota starting at quarterback.
84:16Um, is this the end of like the Dan Quinn era as we know it?
84:20Yeah, I think it definitely is. I mean, you just, you look at this team and I mentioned it with the giants, right?
84:27When you lose that star quarterback, the wind's coming out of your sails.
84:30And I think with Jaden Daniels for a second year in a row here, suffering an injury, and now they're going to
84:37have to battle through this, even though Marcus Mario can give you 60, 70% of what Daniels does.
84:42And we've seen this offense still have some fantasy value in the past when he's out there.
84:47And we've seen him even actually be like a decent fantasy streamer, depending on the matchup, because he's going to run a
84:53little bit and they have some decent weapons. And yet this matchup being the first one out of the gate after the injury going against the Seahawks defense.
85:01No, thank you. Like I'm not playing these running backs.
85:04Um, Stefan digs was somebody that was coming on a little bit.
85:07You got to look at him now as a very, very risky flex option.
85:11Terry McLaurin. I saw Terry McLaurin. I know we, we mentioned him earlier.
85:15I saw him get dropped in a league and I admit initially when I saw him hit the waiver wire, I was stunned.
85:21I was like, Oh my God, Terry McLaurin. And then I paused for a second.
85:26I was like, yeah, that's about right. Like, I don't even know that I'm going to go try to get him right.
85:32Like what would be the point other than a potential trade to somewhere else?
85:36And I don't think because of his contract, that's going to happen.
85:39So man, it's not looking good for Washington. We'll get some matchups here, potentially coming up where you could feel a little
85:46bit better about sneaking some of these guys into your lineup, but going against the Seahawks defense, that is not one of them.
85:52No, it's, it's definitely not. Um, I serve the producers.
85:55I keep going back and forth here. Uh, speaking of a quarterback going against an opposite defense.
86:00In this game last year for Sam Darnold, he threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns against the commanders.
86:05However, we know that Durante Jones is the new coordinator for the commanders.
86:09He comes from the Brian Flores tree. And obviously Sam Darnold was a part of the Vikings with Brian Flores there.
86:15So I kind of wonder if he knows the buttons and levers to pull to maybe get Sam Darnold off injury and
86:21off missing a week, uh, kind of off his spot and off his rocker a little bit.
86:26Obviously like the spread in this game is outrageous at seven and a half points.
86:31And so the Seahawks should smash this one. But, uh, that is just something I'm going to be looking out for that.
86:37We barely saw Sam Darnold in week one. And now he's coming back to a coordinator that should know some areas that of are some of his weaknesses.
86:45Yeah. And just in terms of where I'm ranking these guys, um, the ones that you're going to want to play anyway,
86:51of course, just send, but in terms of the backfield for the Seahawks, uh, generic price.
86:56If he plays, I'll have him down in like the high end RB three range and it would be higher.
87:01It would be RB two given the matchup if it weren't for the health situation, but obviously that's going to be a problem, I think.
87:09And then Emmanuel Wilson certainly can get into your lineup here as like an RB three flex type.
87:14We expect him to get the goal line work.
87:16And like we just discussed there, he's a guy that's probably going to get more carries than he would have based on
87:23the injury and based on what he did with his touches last week.
87:26So keep that in mind. Those guys could actually get in your lineup this week in a game that man, before the
87:33season, when you think about, you know, the Seahawks, what they did last year and the commanders with new coordinator and their quarterback.
87:39And now it's just a whole different story. And that's unfortunately how it goes.
87:43Sometimes we have one more break to take though.
87:46Do not go away. We're taking your questions in the Toyota mailbag right after this.
87:50We are back and welcome to the fantasy hotline presented by Toyota, the official automotive partner of the NFL.
87:55And this week, the tectonic plates of the running back landscape have been moving.
87:59They've been shifting. Some of it is like the usual early season changes.
88:03Some of it's based on injuries. So we asked which running back are you worried about putting in your fantasy lineup for week three?
88:10And I feel like we got almost every running back bench.
88:13We've got so many messages back. I really appreciate those questions.
88:16The first one here, Josh at shadow picks HQ worried about Monty.
88:20The Texans O-line is something else. Traffic cones can block better shots fired there against the Texans offensive line.
88:25David Montgomery. How are you feeling about David Montgomery being in people's lineups this week, Josh?
88:30So this is one of those where week one, he scores three touchdowns.
88:33And to me, it was a bit of a deodorant that when you go back and actually watch the Texans tape, it did not look great.
88:41Like they weren't moving people. The yards for carry were not awesome.
88:44The yards for contact were not great either. And then that bore itself out in week two against Dexter Lawrence and company
88:51and that Bengals defense where he was just stuffed repeatedly at the line of scrimmage.
88:55And by the way, he is still splitting snaps about 55, 45% with what he marks.
88:59Now he gets the Indianapolis Colts this week. Dave Montgomery still owns 85% of the red zone carries for the Houston Texans.
89:06And also the Colts are allowing 5.3 rushing yards per attempt, the second worst in the NFL.
89:11So while Boone, I have full season concerns about what this Houston Texans offensive line is at this moment.
89:16I don't think that's going to play itself out here in week three.
89:20And I think Dave Montgomery is a solid start in your flex lineups.
89:23I agree. And I think you can't judge based on the Bengals last week, like Dexter Lawrence.
89:28They've completely changed that defense from what it was last year when it was like the defense we were targeting with fantasy running backs.
89:35That's not the case anymore. I think that has become a very tough matchup now.
89:39So he's coming off of one of his worst games of the year.
89:43I'm with you. Like this is still a 50, 50 backfield.
89:46It's like legitimately like, I think it was like 51, 49, one week and 51, 49 the next week, the other way.
89:53So both these guys are getting work, but I haven't really seen anything from Woody Marks.
89:57That's going to tell me that he's going to take on a bigger workload as we go.
90:02So Montgomery in my mind is still the play.
90:05Here's the guy, like you pointed out, that's going to get the touchdowns.
90:08And I think this is going to stay this way most weeks where he's kind of that low end RB2 kind of flex play high end RB3.
90:16And Woody Marks is just a very risky flex play.
90:19He's way down and you know, the RB3 mix.
90:21So I'm with you there and I don't know that there's much else to add there.
90:26So we will move on to the next one here, Josh at ring that wild.
90:30I think we're going to pronounce that Judkins, who we've already talked about, of course, but we can go over it quick here.
90:37Seems like Cleveland is going to need Watson. Watson, they probably mean there to throw the deep passes every game if they are going to win.
90:44So Judkins, I think we're both feeling pretty positive about him here.
90:48Josh, like we talked about earlier, right after coming off two bad matchups, but now going into this one, this is his chance to really explode.
90:55This is his chance. This is his audition to be fancy relevant all season long.
90:59Uh, I meant to say this about Judkins earlier going back and watching his rookie stuff.
91:04I thought he was the best rookie running back in the NFL as a ball carrier.
91:09And, you know, then he has the, the rough injury and that can always sap some of your explosiveness and just some
91:15of your like game to game skills. Um, I'm not sure if I've seen that yet because he hasn't really got an opportunity to showcase any of that.
91:23So, so maybe we get our real answer here in week three, Carolina, the Steelers, the jets, he's got the Titans coming
91:29up a little over a month from now. Like there there's games.
91:33This is the time to do it. You know, this is the time.
91:36Yeah. There's a runway now where he's had these two games and going back to something we talked about on an episode
91:43this summer, Josh, we did some bold predictions. And just to give people an idea of how strongly I felt about Judkins
91:49coming off the rookie season, and it ties into what you just said about the talent and how good he did look when he was healthy last year.
91:57One of my bold predictions was that Judkins, even in this Browns offense was going to be a top 15 fantasy back.
92:03And I still think that's possible, but it all comes down to this game.
92:07There was a lot of pressure for that bold prediction on this game right here.
92:11And I'm feeling confident. I think I have them right now, low end RB two range.
92:16So I think we're going to see a usable week out of him.
92:20I would play him in your lineup in this one at Julian underscore Wambolt.
92:24What are your thoughts on Scadaboo with dart done for the year?
92:27I'm not sure what to think since the offense will be worse off.
92:31Wondering if you should try and trade him before he digs himself a hole he can't climb out of.
92:36Also, my condolences, Boone, we're thinking about you. Well, that's really nice.
92:40I didn't read this one in advance. I didn't know there was going to be condolences in there, but thank you.
92:46My father-in-law passed away the first weekend of the NFL season.
92:49That's why I wasn't on shows last week. So thank you.
92:52I got a ton of nice messages from people out there, from people that we work with.
92:57And Josh, thank you to you. I know you stepped up and did some shows without me during that stretch.
93:03So everybody was very supportive and very nice. Thank you to everyone for that.
93:07But we're back to my boy Scadaboo here, who we've talked about already on the show.
93:11Any other thoughts you want to add on him here, Josh?
93:14Are you willing to play him this week despite all the changes?
93:18So just to lean into this question, question for you.
93:21Rest of season, would you rather have, and they're back-to-back at running back 21-22 in points per game.
93:26Would you rather have Cam Scadaboo or Basial Tootin rest of season?
93:29I'm still going with Scadaboo. I'm still going with Scadaboo.
93:32We haven't seen Basial Tootin have any role really in the receiving game.
93:36He's not putting up. And could it develop? Could he eventually get that?
93:39Yes. Is he in an offense that we have a lot more faith in?
93:43Yes. Do I think it's going to continue to be kind of a committee there?
93:48Because both of these backfields have been a committee, but at least we've seen signs that Scadaboo is getting more work in the receiving game last week.
93:55And like I said, I think they might just have to build the offense around now him and neighbors for however long neighbors is healthy.
94:02So Scadaboo gets a slight edge. You feel like it's Tootin, I'm guessing, based on the fact that you asked that question?
94:09No. I mean, the Tootin stuff is, I mean, he looks awesome.
94:12And I think he's, you know, stacking weeks, which is really important in this backfield that included Chris Rodriguez.
94:18My concern with them is this Jaguars offensive line, like against good defenses can look good, but against average and especially bad
94:24ones, I think can get pushed and pressed in the backfield and all that type of stuff.
94:29So I would still go Scadaboo. Okay. One more for you in this one.
94:33Would you either have Cam Scadaboo or Jeremiah Love rest of season?
94:36Because Jeremiah Love was drafted a couple rounds ahead of Scadaboo.
94:39Yeah. I'm going Jeremiah Love all the way. And again, not to keep referencing the running back ranking show that we did
94:46yesterday, but I talked about guys that we identified as by Lowe's.
94:49Jeremiah Love was one of those guys, another rookie who dealt with an injury coming into the season, you know, getting into
94:55kind of more of a tandem there early in the year with Algier.
94:59I only expect that he will get more work the further he gets removed from that injury.
95:04And we've just seen a history of running backs that are taken that high finish very well in their fantasy seasons as a rookie.
95:11So yeah, I'm taking him all the way here.
95:13It would be a little more interesting if Dart was still out there.
95:17I think that would be make it a little bit closer, but no, it's Jeremiah Love in my mind.
95:22Okay. Got it. All right. We will move on to the next one here at Kara M.
95:27Here's hopefully I pronounced that anywhere near close to right.
95:30ETH. ETN, ETN, which is HN now. I can't understand why they would pay him big bucks only to put him in a three-way committee.
95:37I don't think anyone can understand that one, Josh.
95:40How do you feel about him potentially being in your lineup?
95:43We've seen him limited the first day of practice.
95:46I saw before we got onto the show that he is practicing today.
95:49I haven't seen what his designation is. We don't know if he's going to play this week or not.
95:55If he is out there, would you be willing to play him after week one being in a three-man committee and then
96:01week two being in a different three-man committee? Heck no.
96:04I mean, absolutely not. You have to now be at this point with Travis Achan where he runs and leads us backfield
96:10and everything and then understand to yourself, okay, I couldn't have predicted that based on the first two weeks and now I can start him the next week.
96:18Look, I went back and watched that game last week and there were three plays of pony personnel where he and Alvin
96:24Kamara were on the field at the same time.
96:27They used Travis Achan as a decoy play action or going the opposite direction and then threw the ball to Alvin Kamara to the opposite side.
96:34And then there were two pitches to Achan in the backfield that he kind of muffed and fumbled both.
96:40And so both went for like five to seven yard losses and like no team wants to go from first and 10 to second and 17.
96:47So to be honest, he hasn't done anything to earn more opportunities than what we saw in week one and week two.
96:54So so at all. So, yeah, I mean, this contract makes zero sense.
96:57And when you compare it to like the Ken Walker contract and the money being very, very similar and the impact of
97:04the two players, it's been a disastrous move so far, even if the Saints have been impressive offensively.
97:09Seeing him limited in practice to start the week is the only thing that's like, okay, has he been dealing with an injury that we don't know about?
97:17Did he pick something up along the way? Is that the reason like CJ Donaldson being a part of this three man committee is shocking to me?
97:24And who knows this week? It could be a whole different trio, right?
97:28It could be him, Kamara, and then Kendra Miller isn't a healthy scratch in the CJ Donaldson's on the sidelines.
97:34And we continue again with another three man committee.
97:36So I would try to avoid it at all costs.
97:39I have him down like around RB 30 right now.
97:42I could see myself moving him down even further, even if we get word that he's going to be healthy here.
97:48Josh, we've got a few more. We can keep moving through here.
97:52Another one we can go through quick at D Clark 139.
97:55Jadarian Price, we've talked about. I have Emmanuel Wilson or Chris Rodriguez.
97:58I know pretty bleak. Jadarian Price, we went over how I'm approaching these guys.
98:02He's more of that high end RB3, but we're going to have to monitor the injury.
98:07If we're picking between Wilson and Rodriguez, it's definitely Wilson in my mind because of Price's situation, because they are favored so big in that game.
98:14Chris Rodriguez really hasn't done much at all. We know neither of these guys are going to do much in the receiving game.
98:21But yeah, he's certainly somebody that you can drop.
98:23And he was on my drop list that I have at the bottom of my waiver wire article on Monday as well.
98:30Anything to add there, Josh? I would rank it.
98:32Yeah, I would rank it Jadarian Price than Emmanuel Wilson.
98:35Agreed. But, you know, I think this is an environment where you could not play both.
98:40But like if you have one of these backs on your team, then both are flex options because they're, you know, 24 points projected here.
98:47Favorites by seven and a half. And like that environment to me means, you know, carries.
98:51And then maybe Emmanuel Wilson gets a short yardage touchdown and Jadarian Price gets a bucket of yards for you.
98:57And maybe he takes a long touchdown to the house.
99:00But I would still rank it slightly ahead Jadarian Price over Emmanuel Wilson.
99:04But it wouldn't shock me at all if we, you know, in the Sunday night recap, if we have Emmanuel Wilson outscoring JP this week.
99:11We got one here about tonight's game and I will be doing the Thursday night recap show with Hayden later this evening when that game concludes.
99:18At Dan wins, Caleb Johnson seems intriguing this week.
99:21What if no Warren slash Dowdle is third RB worth starting?
99:24Josh, your thoughts there trying to figure out what's going on in that question.
99:28I think Jalen Warren is going to play. So I would play Jalen Warren ahead of Caleb Johnson.
99:33However, just on the Caleb point, he should be probably rostered in every league out there.
99:38Again, all the conversations that we're having from like running back 26 and beyond is a nightmare at this point.
99:43And I think Caleb Johnson snaps are going to exponentially increase this week.
99:47And he's still going to be a zero in the passing game.
99:50But as a runner, he actually has some juice compared to Marshawn Lynch, who fumbled last week and didn't see another snap.
99:57So, Boone, a speculative ad of Caleb Johnson and then we'll see what happens against the Falcons defense would be a really
100:03smart play for everyone watching right now. I absolutely agree.
100:06I think Caleb Johnson up into potentially like the RB3 range for me this week.
100:10And obviously, if you're listening on Friday to the show or if you're listening over the weekend, yes, you know exactly how this went.
100:17You know, if Caleb Johnson was a hero in the Thursday night game or if we're still just super frustrated with that
100:23backfield and haven't gotten much from it. I know I am obviously very frustrated because I took Marshawn Lloyd in a few
100:30spots and that is not going well for me so far here.
100:33Josh, at Marty Zavica, what to do with the Pats running back?
100:36Start both, start neither, meh. Man, I would say in this matchup, it's a start neither.
100:41What about you? Yeah, I'm trying my best to start neither of these guys.
100:45I have them ranked way down, sort of like mid-range RB3.
100:48We saw last week, like Trayvon Henderson, if there is a hole for him, he can hit it.
100:53He can make that big play. Will there be many of those against the Jags defense?
100:58I highly doubt it. These guys are great against the run.
101:01This offense too, like we talk about the Buccaneers offense kind of being discombobulated.
101:05Like the Patriots offense just has not had a lot to hang their hat on so far this year.
101:10They don't look like the same smooth operating system that they were last year.
101:14A little bit worried about them at the moment.
101:17And this is not the matchup, I think, to start these backs against them.
101:21And also there's a possibility with Romandre, we see another fumble.
101:24And man, the leash could be even shorter this week.
101:27He could go right to the bench. So I would not feel comfortable putting him out there.
101:32Henderson is just sort of like this boomer bus play.
101:35You hope that he can hit one big, whether it's a big run like he had last week, whether it's a pass,
101:41which we've seen him do as a receiver, making big plays down the field.
101:45But again, against the Jags, those plays just end up being very few and far between.
101:50Yep, 100%. I mean, the amount of snaps that Hindo got over Romandre last week, like Mike Vrabel is one of these
101:56coaches that punishes you when you fumble versus, let's say Sean McVay.
101:59As soon as Kyron Williams fumbled last week on Monday Night Football, he was in the next series and was continuing to be there at their 1A.
102:07So it's always fascinating to me to see how these teams play the probabilities of a second fumble from these players versus
102:13the ones that, you know, just go ahead and sit them because they think it's going to be, you know, a punishment or an insult.
102:20Whereas obviously Romandre doesn't want to fumble. And in fact, he probably would fumble less the next time he was out there for ball security reasons.
102:28So anyways, I just want to get it off my chest.
102:31All right, we're digging deep into the mailbag. This is the last one here, Josh, at Combustible LMN.
102:36I'm thinking real hard about flexing one of the Broncos running backs over Marv.
102:40Marvin Herfman Jr., obviously. Joko seems legit, but will Dobbins take back his role?
102:44Who knows? Well, first of all, yes, you want to play anybody that you can over Marv.
102:49Marv is not somebody that you want in your fantasy lineup, and you probably don't want him even on your roster at the moment.
102:56But I referred to this yesterday, this Broncos backfield situation as like a choose your own adventure, because we really don't know
103:02how this is going to work out. Dobbins went from being a guy that we thought had a hamstring injury last week
103:08to somebody that they're saying it's just cramps, and he's going to be fine to play in this game.
103:14Harvey missed last week with a hamstring injury. He's back at practice.
103:17We don't know if he's going to play in this game.
103:20And then Coleman, who was a player I talked about in the waiver wire article, I was advising everyone to pick him up.
103:27I still think that's the right play because I think eventually he's going to have a big role in this backfield, but
103:33he picked up an ankle injury and he's not practicing.
103:36So we have no idea how this is going to play out for the week.
103:40And I don't even feel that confident if it is Dobbins getting the start because he hasn't really done much through two games here, Josh.
103:47Yeah, so we have a slightly different view on this.
103:50I'm nervous that none of these Broncos running backs are ever going to matter unless it gets siloed into only one of them playing.
103:57Because that's what worked for RJ Harvey last year, right?
104:00In that six, seven, eight game stretch that he had.
104:03It's why he was so pivotal for us because he got the work between the 20s.
104:07Then he also got the passing down work. And then most importantly, he got the cool plays in the red zone.
104:13But like, let's say RJ Harvey in this hamstring, whatever it is, kind of lingers.
104:18Well, then you have JK Dobbins still getting the stuff between the 20s.
104:21Then Jonah Coleman getting some passing down work along with Tyler Bidet.
104:25And then we don't know who gets the red zone stuff, right?
104:28And then if it's Jonah Coleman and RJ Harvey, then Harvey gets the passing down work.
104:33He also still gets the red zone play scripted for him.
104:36And then Jonah Coleman just gets the work kind of between the 20s.
104:40So, again, to me, it kind of has to only be one of these running backs for it to really matter in the end.
104:47To the person who answered this question, if your conundrum is between the Broncos running backs and Marvin Harrison Jr., you might just want to stimulate to 2027.
104:55I apologize. I love it. I mean, what you described there with all the different possibilities, that's exactly, I feel like, what I said.
105:01It's a choose-your-own-adventure. We will follow it as the week goes along.
105:05We'll figure out which back is going to get the start.
105:08It is probably going to be Dobbins. And, yes, I would play him over Marv.
105:12And, hopefully, you can maybe find something on the waiver wire.
105:15Even one of those receivers, like one of those deeper receivers that just has a shot at a big play in a
105:22big game, you might want to think about playing them instead.
105:25All right. That is it for the mailbag. Tons of great questions.
105:28Thank you for those. And, remember, if you have a lineup dilemma, a trade debate, or a league controversy, the Fantasy Hotline is open all season long.
105:36So, send us your toughest questions. And, we might just feature them on an upcoming episode.
105:41And, that is going to do it for us today.
105:43Thanks to our friends over at Toyota, the official automotive partner of the NFL.
105:47We're here all season long celebrating the passion, traditions, and unforgettable moments that make football America's obsession.
105:52This was a great show, Josh. Always bringing the knowledge.
105:55It's been really fun being on a bunch of shows with you this week.
105:59And, we are not done. We are going to be together on Sunday again.
106:03And, a reminder to everybody out there as well, a very special lineup for you on NFL Sundays.
106:08A fantasy football live in the morning. And, spoiler, there will be no Harmon on that show either.
106:13So, it's going to be Josh, Hayden, and myself getting you ready for the slate.
106:18Then, it's Josh and Hayden on the recap show with Ray Garvin joining the boys.
106:22And, then Harmon's going to be back very late in the day.
106:25He will be doing the solo Sunday night football recap.
106:28There's also the Football 301 live stream with Hayden and Nate Tice after the Sunday night football.
106:33So, when you wake up Sunday morning, we're going to have every angle of the game covered for you.
106:39We'll have that on this audio feed as well.
106:41So, so much content. I hope you are enjoying it all.
106:44But, until then, we are out.
