Brock Bowers

PositiveUsage51:00

Brock Bowers is established as the primary target in the Raiders' offense, with the team likely funneling targets his way.

Insight page

Cam Ward

NegativeProjection39:40

Jackson Dart expresses concern over Cam Ward's decision-making, noting a propensity to do "really stupid shit" on the field. Dart is hesitant to draft any Titans players until Ward demonstrates better performance in the second week of the preseason.

Insight page
NegativeProjection55:33

Cam Ward's preseason performance was worrisome, characterized by inaccuracy, forcing balls into coverage, and a league-low 2.6 air yards per attempt. While Jackson Dart notes it is only preseason, Ward's mechanics and decision-making made the game look difficult compared to other young quarterbacks.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

NegativeProjection58:57

Carnell Tate is seeing his draft stock dip after a quiet preseason debut where he recorded zero catches on two targets. Despite being a high draft pick, the analysts are hesitant to draft him, with some admitting they actively avoid him in mock drafts in favor of other options.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeInjury62:19

Chuba Hubbard is dealing with a hamstring injury, which creates an immediate opportunity for Jonathan Brooks to take over the Panthers' backfield.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeInjury29:04

DJ Moore looked excellent in preseason action, showing elite connection and playmaking ability, but he suffered an ankle injury that is feared to be a high ankle sprain. Despite coaching staff optimism, the injury creates significant uncertainty.

Insight page
PositiveValue32:35

DJ Moore is considered one of the most underrated players in fantasy; he is a proven WR1 capable of 1,200-yard, 9-touchdown seasons. Despite two years of perceived disappointment, he is the clear WR1 for the Bills and is being drafted at a reasonable cost. The analysts prefer him over rookie prospects like Rome Odunze, Jameson Williams, and Luther Burden.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeBust44:26

Deshaun Watson is described as indecisive, discombobulated, and lacking juice, with a "weird" arm. His poor performance is negatively impacting the fantasy outlook for all Browns skill players, leading to a recommendation to avoid drafting them.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeProjection41:55

Drake London is being moved down in rankings, potentially outside the top 20, due to concerns about Tua Tagovailoa's inability to push the ball downfield or to the sidelines. While Michael Penix starting could potentially help London, the current quarterback situation makes him a risky fantasy asset.

Insight page

Drew Allar

PositiveBreakout72:38

Drew Aller displayed impressive physical tools and accuracy in his preseason outing, though he remains a developmental project who needs to be rebuilt to handle NFL-level reads.

Insight page

George Holani

PositiveUsage59:54

George Holani is a strong candidate to lead the Seahawks in snaps and touches in Week 1 due to injuries to Jadarian Price and Zach Charbonnet, and his familiarity with the offense.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveBreakout44:25

Harold Fannin is considered a good player, but his fantasy value is negatively impacted by the Browns' quarterback situation.

Insight page

Jack Bech

PositiveSleeper48:28

Jack Betch is identified as a potential breakout candidate for the Raiders. After a disappointing rookie year where he was used incorrectly as an X receiver, he is now being utilized in the slot and Z positions, which better suits his skill set as a big-bodied receiver who beats zone coverage.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeInjury58:53

Jadarian Price is dealing with lower body soreness, which puts his Week 1 availability and workload in jeopardy, potentially allowing George Holani to seize the starting role.

Insight page

Jalen Nailor

NegativeRole58:14

Jalen Naylor is currently operating as the X receiver for the Raiders, which creates a domino effect that pushes Jack Bash into the slot role.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection33:29

Jackson Dart is more excited about James Cook than ever before after watching the Bills' offense during the preseason game.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury13:37

Jeremiah Love suffered a high ankle sprain in preseason week one. Despite his explosive, Adrian Peterson-like talent, the injury and the Cardinals' poor team outlook make him a player to avoid in drafts. High ankle sprains are notoriously difficult for running backs to recover from in the same season.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveBreakout62:10

Jonathan Brooks is a high-upside target in late rounds; despite ACL recovery concerns, he is a talented prospect in a Panthers offense that historically funnels touches to a single running back.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

NegativeInjury46:46

Jordan Tyson is dealing with a recurring right hamstring injury that has no clear recovery timetable. Given his history of re-injury and the team's 'collection mode' status, the analysts are moving him down their boards significantly, with some suggesting he is a 'do not draft' candidate due to the high risk of re-injury.

Insight page

Khalil Shakir

PositiveSleeper33:32

Khalil Shakir is identified as a strong sleeper candidate to target later in fantasy drafts.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveUsage44:03

Kyle Pitts is highlighted as a potential fantasy standout because he is the only player on the Falcons offense capable of getting open quickly, which is necessary given the team's quarterback limitations.

Insight page

Malachi Fields

PositiveBreakout7:10

Malachi Fields is highlighted as a strong complement to Malik Neighbors. He showed promise with an impressive off-script touchdown catch from Jackson Dart during the preseason.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

PositiveDepth Chart40:57

Michael Penix is viewed as a potential threat to take the starting job from Tua Tagovailoa sooner than expected due to Tua's physical limitations and poor decision-making. Penix appears to be feeling physically good and could potentially make Drake London a more viable fantasy asset if he starts.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveSleeper49:56

Mike Washington Jr. is a big, fast running back who showed explosive potential in the preseason. He is considered a deep flyer for fantasy rosters.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper57:43

Mike Washington is a deep-league flyer who could see increased usage if Gente's role is limited by a rotation-heavy scheme similar to the one Kubiak used for Kenneth Walker and Charbonnet.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveBreakout44:25

Quinchon Judkins is noted as a good player on the Browns, though his fantasy outlook is bleak due to the team's quarterback play.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveUsage39:43

Tony Pollard looked like he had juice again during the preseason opener, showing the form that previously led to jokes about him being the best player in the NFL. He and Tajay Spears both looked good, and the Titans' offense scored on their first drive.

Insight page

Tua Tagovailoa

NegativeBust40:30

Tua Tagovailoa is viewed as a major loser of the preseason after a poor performance where he fumbled a snap and missed a check-down. He is described as immobile, helpless against interior pressure, and lacking the processing ability of veteran quarterbacks, leading to concerns that Michael Penix could take the starting job.

Insight page

Ty Simpson

NegativeProjection68:50

Ty Simpson looked competent and efficient in his preseason performance, but his production was heavily reliant on play-action bootlegs and short, wide-open check-downs rather than elite arm talent.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeRole6:46

Tyron Tracy struggled with pass protection in preseason week one, missing a basic block that led to Jackson Dart getting hit. He is viewed as lacking the size for goal-line work and the reliability for pass-down work.

Insight page

Wan'Dale Robinson

PositiveValue62:01

Jackson Dart prefers drafting Wan'Dale Robinson late over targeting Carnell Tate in the current draft environment.

0:55The Ringer Fantasy Football Show. My name is Danny Heifetz, and I'm joined by Danny Kelly and Craig Horlbeck, and we are
1:01going over the winners and losers of preseason week one because Danny Kelly football is back!
1:06Kind of. Somewhat football. A little. It's akin to football, yeah.
1:09It feels back. It feels back. You see Kyler Murray for like 10 snaps.
1:13You see Joe Burrow for like 7 plays, and you get a little, like it's a tease.
1:18Yeah, Joe Burrow got sacked on the opening pass, and Jackson Dart's in the blue tent, so it kind of feels like we're back.
1:25Jackson Dart. Don't even get me started on Jackson.
1:27Okay, I actually, I was not planning on this.
1:30We're going to start with Jackson Dart because I'm so mad.
1:33All I needed was him to stay out of the blue tent.
1:36We are going to take a quick break, and then we're going to talk about winners and losers, but also, we have
1:43the Ringer Fantasy Football League this year. Netflix live draft on Friday, August 28th at 11 a.m.
1:48Pacific. Did I get that right? That is correct.
1:50This is year two of the Ringer Fantasy Football League.
1:53It'll be us, Bill, Sean, Chris, Mal, David Chang this year, Cousin Sal, Joe House, Tate Frazier.
1:58I think I'm getting it. Van Lathan. We'll be doing a live draft on Netflix.

2:06That'll be fun. Okay, that'll be, so check us out Friday, August 28th.
2:10We're going to talk about Jackson Dart and all the preseason week one winners and losers, but first, quick break.
2:16This episode is presented by Verizon. Let me tell you all about Verizon's new simplicity plan.
2:20You get one plan, one price, just $30 a line per month, even for a single line.
2:25So while everyone is running four trade analyzers before offering a backup tight end, Verizon said, one plan, one price.
2:31Sometimes the simplest move is the best one, like the simplicity plan.
2:35Head to Verizon.com today. For new customers, $30 per line includes auto pay and switch discount.
2:39Additional taxes, fees, and terms apply. Unlimited data is restricted to on-device smartphone usage, domestic data roaming at 2G speed.
2:45All right, I'm sorry to start with the giants, but Craig, you brought it up.
2:49Well, what's funny is, did you see the quotes from Dart after?
2:53I kind of, I didn't know what to think of it when he was like, I don't know why I'm going to the blue tent so much.
3:00Jesus Christ, I just got tackled. Everybody relaxed. Maybe it's because he was laying there like he was dead for a solid like four seconds.
3:08Maybe that. I think he's averaging a blue tent every two games.
3:11I believe he has 10 games and five tents.
3:14It's 43% of his starts he got blue tented.
3:16It's unbelievable. I think Jackson Dart thinks it's a conspiracy.
3:19He's like, they just want to put me in the tent, man.
3:22And I'm like, no, imagine being the concussion spotter that has to decide that, that like you didn't send him to the tent at this point.
3:30Do you think the tent's going to get sponsored soon?
3:33Like the Cedars-Sinai blue tent? That's a good God.
3:35That's good. Kaiser Permanente. Kaiser Permanente. There we go.
3:38Oh, man. This writes itself. It really does. Wow.
3:40Dude, that's good. Someone write that down. I'm glad I said what you just said, though, because I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
3:47Him complaining about going to the tent. The dude laid there like he's like motionless for several seconds.
3:53What do you expect, man? Well, he doesn't remember it, DK.
3:56Jesus. He probably got knocked out. He has no recollection.
3:59Why do you expect him to know that? I mean, he did get drilled.
4:03He got drilled. Well, I actually do think the takeaway from that one is Tyron Tracy just whiffed on that block.
4:09And that's as basic as pass protection gets. That's like high school football.
4:12Line we go left, running back goes right. It's the simplest version of it.
4:16And the irony is Tyron Tracy was a receiving running back.
4:19He's a receiver in college, but he's not big enough to do goal line work and he's not going to do pass down work.
4:26And my takeaway from it was it was cool that Jackson Dart came back.
4:30Amazing off script throw to Malachi Fields, the rookie out of Notre Dame in the end zone.
4:35Awesome. Love Malachi Fields as a compliment to Malik Neighbors.
4:38But my takeaway watching the Giants was Scadabu is back and he's underrated in drafts because I don't know how he got
4:44his strength back, but he's totally normal and he's already a value.
4:48Let's just start with them. We've halfway done it.
4:50I would say that a winner is absolutely Cam Scadabu.
4:53I want that crazy bastard on my team. He looks healthy.
4:56He's playing. Like I think the crazy, he's fucking playing in preseason week one.
5:00The guy broke his leg not that long ago.
5:03His ankle was turned 180 degrees. He's playing. He's doing backflips and Tyron Tracy on the very first, in the very first
5:09quarter, almost got Jackson Dart knocked out of the game.
5:12Like Scadabu is going to be a thing. They're working out Najee Harris this week.
5:17Scadabu was an extremely productive fantasy running back as a rookie in like the four games he played with Jackson Dart.
5:23Like if the two of those guys are on the field, which I know is a massive caveat, he's going to be
5:29good and he's going to be underrated. I agree.
5:31And also, it's funny because preseason, some of it doesn't matter at all, but that's what coaches care about.
5:37Missing a block that's like you learned seven years ago how to do and getting the quarterback crushed is what coaches care about.
5:43I think Scadabu, again, the Pat Corrine rule, he needs a path to seven touchdowns or 45 catches.
5:49Scadabu's got both. And just because he's big and white and runs into telephone poles as a kid, people like he's just
5:55and he broke his leg and did two different places and missed the black backflip.
5:59I think he's kind of an underrated guy. So we have Scadabu right now ranked as like, man, I think we're low on him.
6:06We have him 55th. I think we got to move him up like around and a half.
6:11I think he should be like a top 40, like maybe top 40 player.
6:15I'll remind people right now that last year he played basically six healthy games, four with Jackson Dart, two with Russell Wilson.
6:21In those six games, he was the RB seven.
6:24He was averaging 17 fantasy points per game and he was getting 19 touches a game.
6:28Yeah. That's a lot. Yeah. I think, yeah, I agree.
6:31Craig. Wait, hold on. Let's stick on this though.
6:34Would you say Jackson Dart was a winner? Uh, what is DK?
6:37What's the old German word for getting hit so hard that you have to get medically checked and coming in and just immediately throwing a touchdown?
6:45Like, right off. Don't come. But I know I was like worried because then they brought in James Winston.
6:50I thought he I thought his day was done.
6:53And then it was like, whoa, he's back in throwing a touchdown.
6:56It was great. I don't know. I don't think he's a winner necessarily, especially after the stuff he said after the game.
7:03I just feel like the only thing we needed from Dart was to not get concussion checked and he immediately got hit.
7:09So I would say no, not a winner, technically, even though that was a cool throw.
7:14Yeah. Jackson Dart's interesting because there were reports that he's been like messy in camp or whatever.
7:18I do think he's a real gamer. Like, I do think he's it's kind of like a cliche to say, but I
7:25do feel like when Jackson Dart gets on the field, he is legitimately better than he is in practice.
7:30And I'm not sure why. But like, I actually think under the bright lights, he plays better.
7:35He also is a lack of self-preservation out of structure stuff to that.
7:39He's really good at. And that's why he's good at fantasy, because he's scrambling around and doing all that stuff, too.
7:45The touchdown was also going to his offside. It was rolling to his left.
7:49It was an impressive throw. Sue, it was an amazing throw.
7:52Malachi Fields, again, it wasn't so much receiving going on in Notre Dame the last few years.
7:57But I will just say it's nice. Giants have big receivers.
8:00Plaxico Burrus was big. Hakeem Nix was big. It was nice to have a big receiver again opposite neighbors.
8:05If neighbors hits the field again. With that said, we shouldn't have probably started with the Giants.
8:10But Craig, you mentioned Dart, and I just couldn't contain myself.
8:13But Craig, who is your big loser out of preseason week one?
8:17I'm going to go with Jeremiah Love, the rookie running back on the Cardinals.
8:21And I want to discuss this with you guys, because there's a world in which you could say he's maybe a winner,
8:27just based on what we saw from him. But he played a lot.
8:31He got 14 touches, 73 total yards from scrimmage.
8:34And on his 14th and last touch, maybe there would have been more, he injured his ankle, and it now appears as
8:40though he has a high ankle sprain, which is just the last thing you want.
8:44High ankle sprains is one of the most nagging injuries in the NFL.
8:48Sometimes it's enough to derail an entire fantasy season.
8:50We've seen CeeDee Lamb. These guys get hurt in the first month of the season, and you kind of can't recover.
8:56I guess he has a month, and that's nice.
8:59But I want to start with the positives. There was a lot going on on Twitter, and I fully agreed with it,
9:05where everyone was saying that this guy looks like Adrian Peterson.
9:08Yeah. And I got to be honest, I think he did.
9:12The herky-jerky way in which he runs almost kind of looked just aesthetically.
9:15He ran much more kind of, yes, just aesthetically.
9:18Like his size, the way he moved, his kind of violent shaking cuts really look, his like frame, it did look like Adrian Peterson to me.
9:25He looked like he immediately belonged in the NFL, and I was like, wow.
9:29It's tricky because if he hadn't gotten hurt, I almost would have said I would rise him in the rankings a little bit.
9:36Because I'm like, maybe this is a lot of posturing that we've heard from this staff, and they're trying to make their
9:42rookie work hard in the fucking training camp, which is understandable.
9:45And they are going to give him the ball a lot.
9:49Because I thought he looked fantastic. Yeah. I mean, you guys ever notice how sometimes when players change uniforms, it like makes them look either smaller or bigger?
9:57I feel like when Jeremiah Love in the Cardinals uniform, for some reason, he just looks big.
10:02He looks like James Conner out there. He is a big, he's like 6'1".
10:06Like he's a big, he's 6'1", 220. Like he's a tall running back.
10:09But he just looks bigger. He looks larger than life.
10:12But I totally agree, Craig. Like the tweet that I think went kind of viral was like, ball knowers will know exactly who this guy runs like.
10:20And immediately you just, your mind goes to Adrian Peterson, the herky-jerky way that he runs kind of.
10:25And like a lot of really just sharp cuts, really just exaggeratedly sharp cutting.
10:29He caught passes. He was doing everything and just looked like a fully formed running back in the NFL.
10:34Again, high ankle sprain, not great. We have him as our 13th running back.
10:39The guys that we have below him that it's like, okay, so let's factor in the fact that he has the high ankle sprain.
10:45The Cardinals offense, you know, we'll see. Would you really drop him below Heifetz?
10:49So with this ankle sprain, would you drop him below guys like Kyron Williams, Javante Williams, Brees Hall, and Josh Jacobs?
10:55Those are the four running backs we have below him.
10:58Yes or no. I'm not taking Jeremiah Love this year.
11:01Like I'm not going to have Jeremiah Love on my teams.
11:04It's just three strikes, you're out. And again, Jeremiah Love in a vacuum as a player is amazing.
11:09I really think Jeremiah Love is a mix of Reggie Bush, Christian McCaffrey.
11:13I love Jeremiah Love. But three strikes, you're out.
11:16Cardinals are a bad team. Like if you look at the Cardinals schedule, they actually might start 0-11.
11:21That is on the table. They're a bad team.
11:24Jeremiah Love's a rookie. And he has a high ankle sprain.
11:27To your point, CeeDee Lamb last year had a high ankle sprain in week three.
11:31He had the worst season since he was a rookie.
11:34Like a high ankle sprain is a serious injury.
11:36It's a little bit like turf toe where it sounds a lot more whimsical than it is.
11:41High ankle sprain saps your explosiveness. It is like Odell Beckham, Saquon Barkley.
11:45Like all these guys who have bad high ankle sprains don't recover the same year.
11:49It's very difficult. And then if the Cardinals already were going to push Jeremiah Love, they're going to rethink it now.
11:55Because they're going to start 1-9 and they're going to be pushing this rookie who's already missing a month of practice to
12:02then like aggravate a very aggravatable injury that is a high ankle sprain.
12:05I don't see it. And I don't want to deal with it every week.
12:09I don't want to wonder if I should play the injured rookie against the Seahawks or if it's going to be favored by 16.
12:16And I just – so I'm – will I put him below Kyron Williams?
12:20I don't know. I'm going to rank him far enough down that I'll never take him is the truth.
12:26The other thing to talk about here is – well, just to tack on first.
12:30Yeah. You question how many touchdowns they're going to score.
12:33That is the big thing. Does he have a lot of touchdown upside?
12:37I'd say in this offense, probably not. Also, doesn't it help that their first-round pick – or sorry, second-round pick, Chase Besantis,
12:43also tore his MCL or tore his ACL? He's out.
12:46He's out at a Texas A&M. He's out for an extended period of time.
12:50No, he tore his MCL. Chase Besantis is out for the entire season.
12:54And then the third-round pick, Carson Beck, missed this game with a rib injury.
12:58And their fourth-round pick, the defensive lineman, is also out for the season.
13:01So the Cardinals' first four picks in this draft are already hurt.
13:05I just think – and then add in the fact you have – and they might trade these guys or get rid of them before the season starts.
13:13But Algier just signed there. James Conner is still a part of that.
13:16Like, he could siphon off some of the passing game work.
13:20It's just kind of hard to get super excited about Jeremiah Love right now as a fantasy player.
13:25Even though long-term, dynasty-wise, I am more excited than ever about him.
13:28In fact, I probably should have had him higher in all my rankings just because he looked incredible when he was touching the football.
13:35I want to ask you guys a question. My contrarian brain turned on this weekend when everyone was like, the Cardinals are
13:41fucking idiots for giving him 14 touches in the preseason, blah, blah, blah.
13:45I don't know if I believe this, but my contrarian brain was like, why does it matter?
13:50They're not going to fucking win this year anyway.
13:53Like, let him play. You know what I mean?
13:55Like, does it matter that he got hurt? Really?
13:58Not really. I mean, other than selling tickets. What if he tore his ACL?
14:02I mean, it's a fuck that he got hurt.
14:04No, I'm just saying, like, the idea of preserving him for the regular season so he can go 0-11 to start out.
14:11It's like, who gives a fuck? I don't know.
14:13Here's the thing. It's almost surely wrong that I think it doesn't matter.
14:17But, like, my contrarian brain is just basically like, they're not going to win anyway.
14:21Like, why does it matter if they're, like, conserving him for the season?
14:25Marty Drunk, let's have one more. I'm still going to be hungover.
14:28Who cares? Yeah. It's whatever. It's a dumb take.
14:31But, yeah. I feel like they didn't need to play him.
14:34No one would give a shit if he didn't get hurt.
14:37No one's going to be like, I can't believe he got so many touches if Jeremiah Love was not injured.
14:43But, like, also people get mad when they don't play the rookie running backs immediately anyway.
14:48It is a little bit like you can't win with the preseason stuff.
14:51You either don't play people and then you're like, oh, they're rusty at the beginning of the year.
14:57Or you do play them and they're fucking hurt because football is very violent.
15:01The only thing that matters is winning. And also the problem is Michael Fleur is his haircut is unserious.
15:06And so anything he does that goes wrong will be blamed on him.
15:10Also, first of all, for our purposes, you're going to see this a lot here.
15:14It's weird that there is a coach. There are two coaches, brothers.
15:17M LaFleur, whose biggest star on offense is J.
15:20Love. Like, you have the Packers with Matt LaFleur and Jordan Love as the quarterback.
15:24And then Mike LaFleur and Jeremiah Love. So NFL Network had the thing.
15:28M LaFleur says J. Love might miss week one.
15:31And then Packers fans were like, what? Let's keep it on.
15:34We've got M LaFleur and J. Harbaugh right now in the NFL.
15:37It's a problem. Anyway, do you guys disagree? I don't want Jeremiah Love.
15:41I'm going to put him outside the top three.
15:44I don't want him on my team. Like, I don't want my third pick to be a rookie with a high ankle
15:50sprain on the worst team in the NFL. I generally agree with you.
15:54Can we, before we move on to our next winner or loser, can we do a quick name game?
15:59Sure. Jeremiah Love or Josh Jacobs? Let's assume Josh Jacobs plays.
16:02Josh Jacobs. DK? Yeah, probably Josh Jacobs now. Jeremiah Love or Javante Williams?
16:06Neither of the receivers. I'm being honest. It's, it's, I, if I'm not trying to take either, I'm trying to take Ladd McConkie, Emeko Buca, Devontae Smith, T.
16:14Higgins, Chris Alave, George Pickens. That's fair. But like, all those guys.
16:17Jalen Waddle. But let's say it's around later. Like, let's say Javante Williams and Jeremiah Love have now fallen around past where they should.
16:24And you're like, wow, these guys are values. Which one would you take?
16:28Javante, because there's all this stuff that happens to your brain in the offseason.
16:32Your, your brain on offseason is like, Jeremiah Love's so explosive.
16:35Think about the reason. And then it's like the season starts and the Cowboys have the best offense in the NFL and the Cardinals are the worst.
16:43And then you're like, why do I have the running back on the worst team in the NFL?
16:48I want, I wish he had the running back on the best offense.
16:52Yeah. DK, Travis Etienne or Jeremiah Love? Hmm. I think that's where it starts to get close.
16:57This is, I think the area that he should probably like be dropped into.
17:01I would take Love, but he'll be gone by then.
17:04That's the point. Like he'll be gone. Well, we'll see.
17:06I mean, he just has a high angles, right?
17:09There's a chance he drops. You know, we don't know.
17:12I mean, we're going to drop him. To wrap it all up.
17:15It's amazing what the little Q does. A little questionable in the draft room.
17:19It's amazing what that does to people's minds. To tie it up in a little bow here.
17:24Cam Scadaboo or Jeremiah Love? I would take Scadaboo.
17:27Scadaboo. It's a perfect example of how fantasy works.
17:29Scadaboo is, I would, I pretty healthy would take Scadaboo over Love this season.
17:33Yeah. With the high ankle spray now. DK, who's your winner from preseason week one?
17:38Well, this is kind of along the same lines because this was my experience watching the Bills game the other day.
17:44And I turned it on. I watched the replay.
17:46I didn't have any information. I hadn't, like, checked Twitter or whatever.
17:50And I was like, three catches in. DJ Moore.
17:52I'm putting him in the top ten. Like, he is going to go absolutely off this year.
17:57DJ Moore looks awesome. Great connection. Receivers not overall, I assume.
18:00No. Well, I was exaggerating in my own mind is what I'm saying.
18:04Like, basically, I was, like, getting really, really excited about DJ Moore.
18:08So, that was very Buzz Killington of me. Yeah, thanks.
18:10And then he got an injury. The joke you made is factually incorrect.
18:14A guide to dying alone. Yeah. And then, by the way, he did the, like, wave at a guy to come hit
18:20me thing after he caught a pass in the flats.
18:23And he was, like, running after the catch. And he, like, pointed at the defender.
18:28He's like, come on. Let's do this. Easily the best play of the preseason.
18:32Like, preseason? Like, DJ Moore might be back. DJ Moore might be back.
18:35DJ Moore, as a starter, is next level. Yeah.
18:38He's like, the jokers, like, hit me. Speaking of ruining, like, ruining things for no reason, was there a chance that he
18:44was maybe trying to tell one of his guys to block a guy?
18:48Maybe he wasn't actually, like, doing the come on thing.
18:51But anyway. But yeah. So, then he looked great.
18:53I'm like, the Bills offense, obviously, we know this is going to be a high-scoring team.
18:58They kind of have missed a go-to number one receiver, DJ Moore.
19:01I was getting so excited about this based on a very small sample.
19:05And then he gets rolled up on, hurts his ankle.
19:08There is fear that it's a high ankle sprain.
19:11We haven't really heard yet. No, he's fine. Joe Brady, there was a look like a high ankle sprain.
19:16Oh, yeah, coaches are super believable. Yeah. Oh, no.
19:19But when Joe Brady, the coach said he's good to go.
19:22Like Matt LaFleur did with Jeremiah Love, and then it turned out to be a high ankle sprain.
19:27First of all, Mike LaFleur, dangerous because it's a different level.
19:30M LaFleur. Come on. We just went over that.
19:33Come on. I'm never going to not do that.
19:35You're right. I guess I'm just taking his word for it.
19:38But I also think if he said good to go and he has a high ankle sprain, he can't play, it'd be
19:45pretty dumb if he said he's good to go.
19:47And then he just misses practice. I mean, let's let's maybe you're right.
19:51Let's give him the benefit of the doubt. I think it'll be OK.
19:55But that was definitely a bit of a buzzkill from watching the first like couple of series because DJ Moore just looked awesome.
20:01And, you know, Josh Allen was doing his thing.
20:04And I just like got really excited about the Bills offense in general watching this preseason game.
20:09I think James Cook I'm like more excited about than ever.
20:12You know, clear Shakir, I think is going to be a good sleeper later in drafts.
20:17But yeah, the DJ Moore thing was kind of a roller coaster ride.
20:20I don't know what to do with him. I think he's a winner on this, but we got to see about the injury.
20:27As long as it's not a high ankle sprain, I think DJ Moore's a winner.
20:31I think he's maybe the most underrated player in fantasy.
20:34I agree. I mean, it's it's been a long time since the Bills have had like a good wide receiver one.
20:40And maybe DJ Moore is like not a top 10 receiver in the NFL, but he's definitely like a top 30 receiver in the NFL.
20:47And the Bills haven't had that in a really long time.
20:50And DJ Moore is like very capable of having twelve hundred yard, nine touchdown seasons.
20:55Like he's done that on shittier teams. I mean, you talk about name game.
20:59I'd rather have DJ. I mean, DJ Moore. I'd rather have DJ Moore of a Roma Dunzey.
21:04I'd take DJ Moore of a Jameson Williams. I'd take DJ Moore of a Luther Burden.
21:08Yeah, I think I would, too, with all those.
21:11Probably need to move him up. Just waiting on this injury, though, is kind of the big thing.
21:16Yeah, I mean, in Heifetz, you saying that like.
21:18A lot of those guys are very like big hype guys, Jameson Williams, Luther Burden.
21:23I do think you're going to be able to get DJ Moore at a very reasonable cost.
21:28It's because people are afraid to take someone who hasn't been good for two years.
21:32And it just comes down to he's the number one receiver.
21:35They're paying him like a Joe Brady's had years with DJ Moore, where DJ Moore had incredible target shares.
21:41And again, they're giving him a bonanza of money.
21:43And it's just people are afraid to rank him high because he's been disappointing for two years in a row.
21:49But it's just the bills got him to be the guy.
21:52Just again, he's just a flowers, but cheaper and better.
21:55Maybe. OK, maybe we'll bump DJ Moore up my well.
21:58No, I mentioned the Giants. I think Scadabo is a winner and dart loser.
22:02Craig, who else is a winner for you for preseason week one?
22:05Dijon Stribling, the rookie on the Niners, wide receiver, I think is probably one of the biggest winners of camp so far.
22:12And it translated right into preseason. He had seven catches for 63 yards in the first quarter and a half.
22:17Granted, like Mike Evans didn't play. There's really there's not a lot going on in the San Francisco wide receiver room.
22:23But Stribling had a lot of hype this offseason as a guy who was like catching on to things very quickly and looked like a pro out there.
22:31He played all three drives with the starters. They pulled him after a quarter and a half.
22:36And like I said, seven catches, 63 yards. Just like looked really good, had really strong hands.
22:41I came down with a deep ball where he went up and got it, landed, held onto the ball.
22:46Had another one where it looks like he just had like great control of the ball and great body control already.
22:53And, you know, Pearsall is out for the year.
22:55They brought in Debo Samuel. Mike Evans has been banged up, but I think he'll be fine.
23:00But I am starting to wonder, you know, we talk about how hard it is for a rookie to break through the Kyle Shanahan system in year one.
23:08Oh, yeah. I don't know. I think I'm buying this a little bit.
23:12I mean, we haven't ranked incredibly low. I think we have to move.
23:15He's outside the top 130 for us. We will absolutely move him up.
23:19But yeah, I do. I am buying this, I think.
23:22I'm with you. I think if you did, it just really depends on what happens with Debo here.
23:27But I think he I think that Shriveling is the wide receiver two on this team.
23:32I think Mike Evans is going to be the wide receiver one.
23:35I think Shriveling is going to move around, be in the slot in terms of just targets.
23:40He might be the second highest targeted guy in this on this team.
23:44There's also just the Kittle variable, which I'm not 100% sure on.
23:47I think that's why we have Shriveling kind of low right now is there's Debo and Kittle.
23:52And where do they fall into this like sort of puzzle?
23:55Is Kittle going to be back for week one?
23:58They're still talking about Kittle trying to take this trip to Australia.
24:01I think Kittle will absolutely miss the Australia game in week one.
24:05And he's just kind of aiming for it as a competitiveness thing.
24:08But Kittle will play in week two. I'm but I believe.
24:11But as for Shriveling, like everything that he did in this game matched the hype that you're hearing from training camp.
24:17Training camp. He looked great. He was coming back to the football high pointing, like Craig said.
24:22And I really liked that they moved him all around the formation.
24:26Basically, like we need to get you some reps inside at the Z.
24:29We got Mike Evans, who's probably going to be the X for most of the most of the time.
24:35And I think there's a real chance that he has a really good year and we're very much underrating him.
24:41I think it's you have to let go of the bias that I think a lot of people had when he came
24:47when the draft happened, that he was like overdrafted or all that.
24:50Like he just looks everything that he's done as a rookie receiver.
24:54If he was drafted like 30 spots later and people weren't like shocked about his draft position, I think we'd be even more excited about this.
25:01He looks fantastic. Trent Williams was talking on the broadcast because like the stars when they don't play actually are talking.
25:07And he was talking about how amazing strip stripling was.
25:10And then he made the best catch of the game during it.
25:14And Trent Williams is like that. He's like, I can't believe you even fell to us, which I know they always say that.
25:20But it's certainly amazing when the guy's talking about it and then the guy does something spectacular.
25:25I will say, number one, they call him the Strib Club, which is just amazing.
25:29Nice. The Strib Club. Two, I think part of the draft stock thing was there's a graveyard of guys that come out
25:36of Ole Miss and like that style of offense in college.
25:39That's like dumb. The receivers is just like a 90% miss rate.
25:42Unlike the receivers that come out of that style of offense.
25:45It just like doesn't always work necessarily. Sometimes you get A.G.
25:49Browns, but a lot more times you get like guys that like don't really have NFL careers at all.
25:54Who are the other highly drafted guys? You have D.K.
25:57Metcalf and A.J. Brown worked. Who else is like taking the top two rounds?
26:01That was a huge miss. Elijah Moore was one.
26:03Not just Ole Miss. I'm talking about like the family of offense.
26:07Yeah. Oh, sure. Here, I could pull up. There's a list.
26:10There's a list. It's a whole thing. I'll never give up on Elijah Moore.
26:14I still think that guy's good. But Stripling, I think this is a great call.
26:18I agree that he's I think Stripling is the perfect receiver.
26:22If Stripling's your fifth receiver on your team, like your third receiver on your bench, then you're perfect because he's going to play.
26:28And if Stripling doesn't play this season, it implies that Mike Evans and Debo Samuel are perfectly healthy.
26:33But I think for the most part, you're right, D.K.
26:36Kyle Shannon red shirts his receivers. But it's hard to break through the system.
26:40But the system has crumbled down to their level.
26:43So like Stripling's going to play. It's like you can't ignore what he's doing.
26:47They literally can't. They don't have enough bodies healthy.
26:49So I think that. Yeah, I think Stripling is a great pick this year.
26:53There's just upside there. Like we like. Like I said, he's ranked 135 for us.
26:58I think he has to be in the top 100 now.
27:01Like him versus a guy like Michael Pittman to me.
27:04Sure. If you play this season 10 times, maybe seven of the Michael Pittman scores more points and can be a more
27:10reliable, like guaranteed nine or 10 points every game.
27:13But there's a 10, 20 percent chance that Dejan Stripling is like the next guy for San Francisco.
27:18And it's worth taking him in that round because of that.
27:21It's where rankings are funny because I don't know if I'm like in my first blush.
27:25I'm like, do I rank Stripling ahead of Pittman?
27:28But in reality, even when we don't, I'm like, well, I'm just going to skip over Pittman, take all the other positions
27:34around him and then wait and then get Stripling later, which is, you know what I mean?
27:39Which is just that's what's going to end up happening.
27:42So he's just he's going to be way better value.
27:45So I like Stripling. But Craig, unfortunately, blood sacrifice in exchange for Stripling.
27:49You lost, I think, for the fifth episode in a row, one of your favorite players of the season.
27:54I really got to start pitching my enemies on this show because then they'll get hurt.
27:59Like the Grim Reaper meme with Craig? Just every guy at the door?
28:02Yeah. What is it? Abuka got the toe. Jordan Tyson with the hamstring.
28:06Who's the other one? Luther Burden. Luther Burden with the groin.
28:09Yeah. Jordan Tyson hurt his hamstring. This is like the fourth time in like two years he's hurt his hamstring.
28:15Um, we, we, we don't have a timetable really, which is not a good sign.
28:19They're like, there was a quote from Kellen Moore that said, we're still in collection mode, which like doesn't sound great to me.
28:26Um, he, it's his right hamstring and he's basically re-injured it like three times in the last year now.
28:31He, he hurt it, uh, leading up to the draft.
28:34Uh, and then he hurt it again during the draft workout.
28:37And then that took three months to recover from.
28:40And then he was finally healthy for July when camp started.
28:43He had two healthy weeks of camp and then he hurt it again.
28:47And so it's basically taking this guy months, not weeks, months to recover from these hamstring injuries, like three months.
28:53And so, you know, the, you can do the easy math.
28:56Like I don't think he'll, I don't know. This is impossible to say.
28:59We don't know how hard it is, but I, it's, it's horrible.
29:03It's a horrible way to start the season for a guy who always hurts his hamstring.
29:08It's the worst thing you could have asked for.
29:10Can I, can I be Buzz Killington? Nah. Rookie receivers going to hamstring specialists in the middle of August.
29:16And when they're saying the situation looks bleak, I'm out.
29:18He's off my board. Unfortunately, I love Jordan Tyson.
29:21If he's fully healthy, Jordan Tyson is one of my favorite players that you could take this year.
29:26Realistically, I think Jordan Tyson's like going to be the new Christian Watson where Christian Watson had all these hamstring issues.
29:32And all he did was make plays, but, and then it would come off.
29:36But Christian Watson went to the university of Wisconsin has this hamstring center.
29:40I don't know if that it's basically what it is.
29:43It sounds very unserious to say at college is a hamstring center, but it's like, they study it.
29:48And guess what? Christian Watson came back from his ACL.
29:51And one of the reasons he's had such a good ACL recovery and he was so good last year was that he
29:57had done all this work and he didn't have the compensatory issues of the ACL.
30:01Well, Jordan Tyson has something going on here and that's okay because we know more about it, but like there's imbalances.
30:07We joked about it, but Alvin Kamara, do your legs weigh the same?
30:11Like there is an imbalance in one of his legs and he's probably going to have to go to this university of
30:17Wisconsin center or somewhere else that's doing it because I think he needs like a more in-depth thing.
30:23But that's also means I'm not going to have him this year, but maybe it's funny that you mentioned Christian Watson.
30:29That was my comp for Jordan Tyson going into the draft.
30:32Partly because of the concern over injuries, you know, because that was a thing in college.
30:36He was basically hurt every season of his college career, which, you know, can be just bad luck and never show up again.
30:43Or it can be something that's just kind of like going on with your body, all the compensatory stuff.
30:48So can I just read this quote from Christian Watson about his own hamstrings just because it's informative?
30:54He said for me, it was really the asymmetry, but this is Rob Domovsky, the ESPN story.
30:58Christian Watson said for me, it was really the asymmetry between my legs comes from a lot of things.
31:04The issues in my past with the hamstrings, not fully recovering from the strength wise.
31:08And so basically he's just saying like you have to change how you're training to get your legs to symmetrical so that there's not issues.
31:15But I do think Jordan Tyson is something like that.
31:18It's so hard. I'm going to move him like 50 spots down.
31:2250? Yeah, he's a rookie. Dude, they can't even put a timetable on his return in the middle of August for the hamstring issue.
31:29You know it's bad. You know it's bad when like Nick Underhill, who covers the Saints really well, he's great.
31:34But like he tweeted, Jordan Tyson did a light jog to the huddle.
31:38And people are like, nice, nice. Okay. He's jogging.
31:41Like, this is good. I'm like, oh, God. We're so screwed.
31:44Here's the problem with drafting Jordan Tyson. If he comes back to practice, everyone's like, yeah.
31:48And then it's like the moment you're watching him and he limps for even one second, you're like, oh, my God, I'm ruined.
31:55I'll never financially recover from this. He's a rookie.
31:58Don't have injured rookies. I think one of the hardest parts about fantasy football is getting excited about a guy for five months of the offseason.
32:05You watch him get drafted. He goes to the team you like.
32:08It's working out in camp. Clips look great. The quotes are great.
32:12And then he has something like this. And you need to just immediately be like, never mind.
32:17I'll see you next year. It is so hard to do that.
32:20The impatience is really difficult. And like, Luther burden hurting his groin.
32:24Yeah, I should just be like, well, that's probably going to affect him.
32:27And I should probably knock him down a bunch.
32:30And I probably just shouldn't draft him. And so one of the hardest parts about it's really the go home to your
32:36wife is like the most important fantasy lesson is like, yeah, you should like probably not take the sexy guy who's injured
32:43and just take like fucking Terry McLaurin. Well, yeah.
32:45I mean, he's hurt too. But well, I quoted you last year.
32:49But I know what you're saying. Somewhere out there is a Chevy truck.
32:52And the person who drives it, well, that's a Chevy person.
32:55You probably know one. Your buddy. Your sister. Ones who always show up.
32:59They're the first to rise. The last to leave.
33:02They always have that little extra something. And maybe you've got it too.
33:05Chevrolet. Together let's drive. Visit Chevy.com slash trucks to explore the lineup.

33:33Cam Ward is, I think, especially relative to all the other really pretty clean performances from young quarterbacks this last weekend over the last couple of weekends.
33:41Cam Ward's performance was a little bit worrisome to me.
33:44He went 5 of 12 for 57 yards. It was just a weird, it was a weird game for him.
33:49I mean, he just kept kind of like dropping his arm and trying to do these like little side arm throws.
33:55He was really inaccurate. He was forcing the ball into coverage.
33:59Could not establish any report with Carnell Tate. So people are kind of freaking out about that a little bit.
34:04I don't think it's anything to be alarmed about necessarily, but I think especially relative to how some of these other young quarterbacks played this weekend.
34:12It's like, man, I just wish I would have seen a little bit more from Cam Ward.
34:17Yeah. 2.6 air yards per attempt, by the way, this, which is like, whatever, you don't have to dig into preseason.
34:23That's second base. At that point, you're just being a second baseman.
34:26He's he did. That was dead last among all the quarterbacks this weekend.
34:30So like that is just a little bit worrisome to me.
34:33Cam Ward is funny. Cam Ward. The Yankees called up the shortstop George Lombard, who's like a phenomenon because the Yankees previous
34:39shortstop was literally probably the worst player in the history of baseball to get like three full seasons of that back.
34:45God, because it was pathetic. Like Cal Raleigh batter.
34:48Hey, that's me. Craig. Uh, worse, literally the worst on base percentage in a hundred years to have like full-time playing time.
34:54But then the new guy is just, everyone loves him.
34:57And I just was watching Kim Ward. I was like, man, this looks like way hard, way easy.
35:02George Lombard would make all these throws. That's what I was thinking with Kim Ward.
35:06There's football that some players make football look easy.
35:09And then some players make football look very hard.
35:12And like right now, at least for based on this game, like everything just looked hard for the, for Ward.
35:17So that was just a little bit worrisome. I will say, I love the new uniforms though.
35:22They look cool. Kim Ward kind of plays like uncle Rico a little bit from Napoleon Dynamite.
35:27He like drops his arm. He's like back there, just like flinging it, trying to like win a highlight competition.
35:33Yeah. DK, did it make you, I mean, uh, Cardinal Tate, I think got two targets.
35:37Again, he was the fourth overall pick at receiver after all this stuff about, he's Cardinal Tate, an elite receiver prospect goes
35:44fourth in a draft, gets two targets, no catches.
35:46We're, I mean, we already just talked about how we're going to dock Jordan Tyson, another top 10 receiver in the real
35:53life draft this year, maybe off boards. I don't know what to do with him.
35:57Now it's Cardinal Tate. Are you watching the Titans game?
36:00Be like, it's preseason week one, who cares? Or are you watching that?
36:04Like, I don't really want Cardinal Tate to fall into my lap and draft him.
36:08More of the latter. More of the latter. I think, you know, I did a draft this weekend and Cardinal Tate went
36:14for more than I thought he would. I'm like, man, I don't know.
36:18Like obviously long-term really bullish on him, loved him coming out of the draft, but I can't help but kind of be
36:24a little bit worried about what I saw this weekend.
36:27I'm going to move him down because I'm actually have Cardinal Tate higher than you guys.
36:32Cause I like Tate, I like Ward and I'm, I believe in Brian Dable.
36:36And I think the Titans will be better than people think.
36:39Cause I believe in Robert Sala as that coach and Brian Dable as the coordinator.
36:43However, I've, I'm trying to align with what I actually like my actual behavior.
36:47And I find when I'm doing mock drafts, I do the fantasy draft equivalent of like, when you walk by someone and
36:53you kind of like, you don't want to start a conversation.
36:57You know, you don't want to like, every time I could draft Cardinal Tate, I kind of just like, like just walk right by him.
37:04You're like, oh, I'm getting a phone call. I missed it.
37:07Pretend you're on the phone. Yeah. Just like making my way to Parker, Washington or Christian.
37:11Like anybody. I'm just like, I don't want. You're like, oh no, was Cardinal Tate on the board?
37:17Oh, I must've missed that. Damn it. Whoops. Yeah.
37:19I do agree. I'm taking Wanda late. If I'm getting anybody from that.
37:23Has there been, this is nothing really against Cardinal Tate, but like it's kind of crazy that he was the fourth overall pick.
37:30Like, I feel like that, that weight has not carried with him.
37:33I don't view him that way on this Titans team.
37:36It doesn't. Yeah. He doesn't feel as big time as some previous guys that were in that range.
37:41Like Jamar Chase or something. Like Jamar Chase. That's true.
37:44Jamar Chase went for it. You know, the ironies.
37:46You mean Marvin Harrison. You know, the last top five receiver pick that probably was like pretty meh?
37:52Oh, Corey Davis. Corey Davis to the Titans is the last guy where everyone's like, yeah, well, who cares?
37:57I just to be clear, still very much like Cardinal Tate.
38:00I really, really like him. But like Jamar Chase went, I think fifth.
38:04I don't feel the same way about, you know.
38:07No. They're not in the same stratosphere as prospects.
38:09Chase was the best receiver prospect since like Julio Jones.
38:12Like, I mean, and honestly, we're going to talk about him a lot because Jeremiah Smith is going to be the best receiver prospect since Jamar Chase.
38:20So DK, what are the odds that Kim Ward week two preseason?
38:23It looks like great and completes a 40 yard pass to Cardinal Tate.
38:27And you're like, ah, throw everything out. What are the odds that I said last week?
38:3149%. Okay. We're overreacting to preseason week one where the quarterbacks did two drives or whatever.
38:36So I absolutely could change my opinion. The only thing I want to say in the Titans, Tony Pollard looked like he had juice again.
38:43There was a moment where I was watching Pollard.
38:46Yeah. And I was like, is that the guy that we used to joke was the best player in the NFL?
38:52Looked like he was back. I was kind of excited about the run game, to be honest.
38:57Like Tajay Spears looked good. Tony Pollard looked good.
38:59You know, they scored on, they scored on their first drive for what it's worth.
39:04We just did the best values in your draft last week.
39:07And it was kind of like a name brand off brand thing.
39:10You could kind of do Tony Pollard, Jeremiah Love in terms of like the offensive situations and their workload splits.
39:16Like you could make that. You could. Yeah. Tony Pollard, Jeremiah Love.
39:19You could strain and get there. Honestly, it's not bad.
39:22If Cam Ward learned to check down that like, yeah, Pollard, that's actually pretty funny.
39:27Titans, the other team sneakily has poured into the offensive line if they were good.
39:31I'm not going to take Tony Pollard, but that would be cool if he worked out for someone else.
39:36I'd be happy for them. My, any other things on the Titans?
39:40Cam Ward? Are we concerned or not? We have to decide.
39:43We need action. Not yet. Not yet. Maybe a little.
39:46It would help if. I'm concerned. I like their uniforms.
39:49Again, to be clear, their uniforms look cool. Cam Ward just has a propensity to do really stupid shit and it makes me nervous.
39:55You know how the, have you guys seen those?
39:58There's like a lot, I mean, lived experience, but also studies that say that the decision making part of your brain is pretty removed from logic.
40:06Like the emotional part of your brain is the one that makes decisions and logic is like this whole thing that makes
40:12a case and it doesn't actually affect the decision.
40:14I can say all this want about Cam Ward.
40:17It doesn't matter. It's preseason. I don't think I'll take any Titans until I see Cam Ward look good.
40:22Like if he doesn't look good in the second week, I probably won't take him just because my brain's like, eh, I got the ick.
40:30Yeah. Speaking of the ick, my loser, I would say the second biggest loser of the entire preseason so far is Tua Tungo-Vailoa and the Atlanta Falcons.
40:37I'm out on Tua. Was it that bad? So bad.
40:40I'm out on Tua. It was worse than I feared.
40:43I don't think I had the same reaction, but I mean, not like I was excited about it, but I'm excited to hear about this.
40:50Well, he played eight snaps. He fumbled the second snap of the preseason in shotgun like he didn't know it was coming.
40:57And then Michael Penix pointed at him and it was the first meme of the NFL season is Michael Penix.
41:02There's this photo now. Michael Penix is pointing at Tua like, what the fuck is wrong with this guy?
41:08And we're going to use that all year. But I'm trying not to overreact, but I felt it stronger and stronger as
41:14the weekend went that you watch all these other quarterbacks and Tua has none of the mobility or the ability to extend plays that other quarterbacks have.
41:22He's so immobile and is just helpless against interior pressure.
41:25But he has none of the decision making ability of older quarterbacks like as old Stafford or old Roethlisberger or old Aaron Rodgers, like none of the processing.
41:33So he just fucking dirts it. And it's like sad.
41:36It's sad to watch. If you didn't know any better, you'd assume he's like 37.
41:40He's like late career Russ. But it's what Craig said the other day.
41:44It's Tua seconds or less. First read, second read, plays over, doesn't have the arm and defenses know it.
41:49So they're playing up and I'm watching this and I'm like, I'm not taking Drake London in the second round.
41:55I'm not doing it. Now that could burn me because I thought Tua was so bad that Penix could take the job
42:01back a lot quicker than I thought. And so that's why I don't know what to do with the Falcons.
42:07I want to talk to you about it. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I'm like, we've watched Tua for years now.
42:13And I'm like, he's so physically limited. He can't move.
42:15He can't throw. He can't. It's not just the deep balls where we joke, but it's real.
42:20We're tired. He kills fielding punts, but he can't push it past the hashes.
42:24He can't push the ball to the sidelines. So they just play.
42:28And I'm like, I almost think he's so bad that Michael Penix might come in and make Drake London good.
42:33I don't know. But I thought Tua was horrible.
42:36How much weight is this fumble on second down count?
42:39No, it's not just that. It's like he missed a check down on first and 10 on the next drive.
42:45He's a lefty. The guy's out to his left in the flat.
42:48It's a tight end who went like he went in motion.
42:51You know, he's there and he just misses the check down.
42:54He doesn't even throw it. He would have got a first down on first and 10.
42:59And I'm like, you're supposed to be like a seven year NFL vet.
43:03How the fuck are you missing a check down in the preseason?
43:06You guys think I'm faster than Tua? Yes. You think three, three cone drill, me or Tua, your life's on the line.
43:12Who are you picking? Correct. I don't say that much about pro athletes, but I mean, the man had the Bo Jackson hip injury like six years ago.
43:20I lean much more towards Heifetz on this. Look, it's not like Tua.
43:24Tua was that. 2023 was a long time ago.
43:27It's not like Tua, even with Mike McDaniel, offensive guru, was good last year or the year.
43:32Like it was a mess. He was benched. So I don't know why I'm expecting him to be serviceable now.
43:37I totally agree about Drake London. Michael Penix is, I think, has a shot to play week one and appears to be physically feeling really good.
43:45He's actually been very open this offseason about the mental struggles of the injury stuff and how that's the hardest part.
43:51But if Penix plays, Drake London was like the wide receiver two in fantasy.
43:55And if Tua plays, he might be like the wide receiver 32 in fantasy.
43:59What Tua needs to do is so antithetical to him, which is like toss up these deep jump balls.
44:04Yeah, Drake London needs like alley-oops. And Tua can't get the ball there.
44:08No. He throws the arm punt. Can I also remind you guys how bad Tua is?
44:13Throw it up for him. It is. Honestly, he should arm punt everything.
44:16That should be his nickname, arm punt. Wait, I didn't tell you guys I did this.
44:21So when we say that, like, I know this is a new thing now.
44:25It happened to Russell Wilson. Guys get caught by their team, the Broncos.
44:29The Steelers signed them for a veteran minimum. And it's like the other team's paying the bill for you to go away, right?
44:35Yeah. Yeah. We didn't really – just to remind you how bad Tua was playing.
44:40The Dolphins, the amount of money they're taking to get rid of Tua is like so much larger than all the other
44:46record-breaking things that I went – the Dolphins overall, they're $180 million in dead cap.
44:50Did I tell you guys they built an offense with less money than the Dolphins are taking a dead cap this year?
44:57So this is just Tua, Tyree Kill, Bradley Chubb, and the Jalen Waddell dead money.
45:01You can put together for less money Patrick Mahomes, Jamar Chase, Jackson Smith & Jigwood, Trey McBride, Bijan Robinson, Garrett Bowles, left
45:07tackle, Joe Tooney, left guard, Tyler Linderbaum at center, Quinn Miners, the all-pro right guard, and Panay Suelt right tackle.
45:13And that's like $2 million more than the Dolphins are paying for people to not play for their team.
45:18This is why I'm saying when you sign a player for a lot of money, it's actually a good thing.
45:24Because they're a good player and not a bad player.
45:27The Dolphins are paying the same amount of money to not have Tua as the Ravens are to have Lamar Jackson this year.
45:34Yes. And so when the Falcons are going to trot him out, I'm like, I don't want the Falcons.
45:39And Abijan Robinson is still the second guy. I think Kyle Pitts might be incredible in fantasy this year.
45:44Pitts had a couple catches in this game, yeah.
45:47He's the only guy who's going to catch the ball.
45:50He's the only guy who's going to get open in two seconds.
45:53But anyway, I'm moving London down. I'm moving London outside my top 20.
45:57It has nothing to do with him. I don't necessarily disagree with you, by the way.
46:02I was just kind of playing devil's advocate there.
46:04I was just like, damn, was he that bad?
46:07Because he fumbled that snap? But you're right. It was pretty ineffective.
46:10I mean, their first drive was over before it started.
46:13And also worth noting, Falcons James Pierce Jr., the defensive end was suspended eight games for the NFL.
46:18And he led the Falcons in sacks last year.
46:21So it's not a good start. Craig, who else is a loser for you preseason week one?
46:26It's the Browns and it's Deshaun Watson. And it's all the skilled players on the Browns.
46:30I watched, I don't know why, I watched every single snap that Deshaun Watson took in week one of the fucking preseason yesterday.
46:37Craig's watching the All-22, baby. I was. And I can't believe we're doing Deshaun again.
46:41I think Casey Concepcion is good. I think Denzel Boston is good.
46:45I think Quinchon Judkins is good. And I think Harold Fannin is good.
46:48And I think they're all fucked this year because of Deshaun Watson's going to start.
46:53He's terrible. He has no juice. His arm is weird.
46:56He's so indecisive. He looks completely discombobulated out there.
46:58There was a play where all four wide receivers were open on the field.
47:02He's in the middle of the pocket. He throws to none of them and he gets sacked.
47:07And I'm like, I can't believe we're doing this again.
47:10I don't want to draft any Browns this year, despite the fact that I think all of those players are good.
47:16And if you're a Browns fan, I would hold out hope that you guys are going to fucking tank this year, get
47:22a good quarterback next year, and their offense could be good immediately.
47:26Deshaun Watson was by EPA per play. Austin Gale always said the stat that he was the worst quarterback in Browns history by EPA per play.
47:33Browns history. He was the worst quarterback in Browns history through six games.
47:37Then he tore his Achilles twice. And he came back.
47:40And I mean, first of all, Watson hadn't really played in a game in 22 months.
47:44And he looked like, I thought Watson, there were some plays where it was like, okay, like he actually is faster than
47:51I thought off the Achilles and some better plays.
47:53I also thought there were plays where I thought he had the yips, like forgot how to throw a football.
47:59No, that's been, yeah, that's been happening for a while.
48:02That was happening 22 months ago. I mean, that was Achilles twice.
48:05Yeah, that was happening. I feel like the yips were happening before he tore his ACL twice.
48:10Or sorry, Achilles twice. I just think it's a, I think it's a mess.
48:14And I feel bad for Denzel Boston and Concepcion and Fanning because I think all those guys look good.
48:20Does this, does this mean we want to root for Shudder from a fantasy point of view, root for Shudder to start?
48:26I mean, I think the question is obvious. I think Shudder is not good either.
48:30Well, yeah, sure. I'm not saying he is. You know what's worth revisiting?
48:34Remember the time the Browns just sent Joe Flacco to the Bengals in a trade for like move up 20 spots in the sixth round?
48:41My Tomlin does. Joe Flacco on the Browns with Boston Concepcion, Judd.
48:44That would be a real goddamn team. I still don't really like, why isn't Jameis Winston just starting for the Browns?
48:51Like, I don't really get it. I feel like there are some backup quarterbacks where I'm like, they're just better than any quarterback the Browns have right now.
48:59How much are they paying to Sean Watson this year?
49:01$46 million or something. They ended up getting a cap credit.
49:05They were able to get the years he was off insured, which is a whole thing.
49:09Right, right, right. If you pay for an insurance policy and the guy gets hurt every game, you get a cap credit back.
49:16That's like the new thing. So the Jets got like credited the next year for Aaron Rodgers' season that he missed.
49:22Like, it's almost like a credit card charge being undone.
49:25But the Browns, so they kind of bailed them out.
49:27The Achilles actually kind of bailed them out of the Browns of the Watson contract.
49:32But they all still need to play him. And then I think Jimmy Haslam, the owner, wanted Jadour Sanders.
49:37So they're kind of like tied. But yeah, I don't.
49:40I don't know. 31 other teams that want these Browns players.
49:43But I'm like, I honestly don't want to spend 50 hours watching Deshaun Watson this fall.
49:48No. And yeah. But as we were talking about earlier, you got to be patient.
49:52Like, if you're a Browns fan, just convince yourself that there will only be one more bad year.
49:57And then you're going to get a quarterback. And Deshaun will be gone.
50:01And things will be better. Because I do think everyone around him, they all look like good picks.
50:06Dude, Casey Concepcion looked awesome in this game. He did.
50:09He's the man Boston out of Washington. I mean, the University of Washington.
50:13I will say, Austin made a great point to me that the Browns defense also might suck, which you forget about.
50:19But because Carson Schwestinger was defensive rookie of the year.
50:22But they traded away Myles Garrett. And then Jim Schwartz, the defensive coordinator, basically quit because they didn't give him that coaching job.
50:28And so no Myles Garrett, no Jim Schwartz. If the Browns defense is bad, it could be just as bad as like the Cardinals last year.
50:36But they don't have a Jacoby Brissett. Like, they might just get blown the fuck out if the defense is bad.
50:42Because Watson and Shador are not going to be able to come from behind and even rack up garbage time, I don't think.
50:48Yeah. We'll see. I don't want to count on the Browns getting garbage time stats.
50:53I'm kind of just moving all the Browns down.
50:55I do agree, though. Big picture. This skill group is sick.
50:58And I think next year, any quarterback, well, I don't know about any quarterback wanting to land in Cleveland, generally.
51:04But that is a really good skill group. If you're Cleveland, you take quarterback, and I'm not even kidding, I would take six straight offensive linemen.
51:12Yeah. Because everything else in the offense is set.
51:14This is the first time in my, I think, my lifetime, maybe right after they took Baker, I would say I'm buying stock in the Browns.
51:22Yeah. Any other winners or losers I'm forgetting about?
51:24Mendoza? Yeah. I don't have Mendoza as a winner.
51:27So, I mean, so first of all, Mendoza was the first number one pick to throw a touchdown in his preseason debut
51:33since Baker Mayfield like nine years ago, which I don't know how that's possible.
51:37Is that right? That's funny to me. But yeah, Mendoza, he played four drives.
51:41He had like 100 yards and a touchdown. I just thought Mendoza immediately looked like what we thought he would be, which is the arm strength is there.
51:49He was able to immediately throw like outside the hash.
51:52I thought he mentally recovered. He was in the goal line.
51:55He took a sack. He came back. He's like, he's poised.
51:58He's like, he just looks like an adult, looks like a little baby pro and like a little gazelle learning to run.
52:05And again, Mendoza himself said he's, it's, it's not pretty when he runs, but it gets the job done.
52:10He outran a couple of fourth string defensive ends for a couple first downs.
52:14Like he's fast. He, I could do the rollouts.
52:17And I also think the real winner that I think Mendoza is going to be good.
52:21Kirk Cousins played fine too. I think the real winner of this, I think Jack Betch, Betch, I would say his name wrong.
52:28The receiver to TC really disappointing rookie year last year, but the Raiders used him totally wrong.
52:33I think he's the going to be the receiver that emerges after Brock Bowers.
52:37I think he's going to be the big winner of the Raiders offense.
52:40Yeah. It's going to be really interesting because he hadn't, he hadn't made a lot of buzz in camp.
52:46I don't think like they were talking about other guys.
52:49Yeah. Austin had been telling us that he was having a bad camp.
52:52Yeah. But then as Heifetz alluded to, basically last year, they used Besh as an X receiver.
52:57That wasn't really a strength in college. He's like a big, he's a big slot.
53:02Basically, like he's, he's good over the middle field.
53:04He's good at beating zone coverage, less good at beating man to man, getting off press, getting open, doing the alpha receiver stuff.
53:11But there is this world where he can be a really highly productive receiver who can move around.
53:16He's got a big body, big frame, and he's tough.
53:19And that's kind of what we saw in this game was they ran him.
53:23I think they're running him in the slot and at the Z kind of moving him around, getting him off the line.
53:29And that was the role change that could really benefit him.
53:32I think in my big picture thing is maybe this is just me buying into the, the, the trust I have in
53:39Kubiak and in Clint Kubiak and running this offense, but their offense just looked like it made sense.
53:44You know what I mean? Like they just guys were getting open.
53:47They were distributing the football. They're moving down the field.
53:50They scored two touchdowns in their first couple of drives.
53:53Um, and then like Mike Washington ripped off a huge run.
53:56There, there was just like multiple things to get excited about.
53:59And the operation from an offensive point of view just looked competent.
54:03I thought, I thought Mendoza looked like it wasn't too big for him.
54:06He made a couple of nice throws, nothing to get like too excited about, but again, it was just this offense looked professional.
54:13And sometimes you see the, and, and again, this is like going back to what the cam board thing, like why I
54:19was a little bit worried about the cam board thing.
54:22It's just relative to all these other guys that looked really sharp over the weekend.
54:27Um, that is, that's kind of my takeaway from this game was that like, they just look sharp and that, and that's,
54:33that's important because obviously you just got to keep building on that.
54:36And it reminds me a little bit of like last year when Ben Johnson took over for the, for the Browns and
54:43like his big focus was the details, getting the operation, right.
54:46Getting guys where they need to be standing in the right spot, coming out of the huddle and lining up in the right spot.
54:53Like you saw so much of this last year where the Raiders were just a clusterfuck in, in every way.
54:58And, you know, we, we talked about Pete Carroll being the adult in the room and like helping that raising the floor.
55:05That obviously didn't happen, but I do like, I want to go back to the wall on that because I do think Kubiak can do that.
55:12This is his wheelhouse. You know what I mean?
55:15The offense and running it. Great point DK. Cause the biggest leap in offense can make is like what the chiefs did
55:21with my homes, where you went from above average with Alex Smith to elite.
55:25But the second biggest leap you can make is literally the worst in the NFL to competent average.
55:30Like, and that's what the Raiders might be able to do.
55:33And I know we, Ash and Gentry is obviously like a fringe first round pick.
55:38I'm obsessed with Brock Bowers and probably to my detriment.
55:41So like I have him like 18th. They think overall having said that, I just want to note real quick, Mike Washington jr.
55:47The running back they took out of, sorry, he went to three colleges, Arkansas.
55:51I always get confused. He went to three different colleges.
55:54He's one. Yeah. Arkansas dude. He's so big. He's so fast.
55:57And if Ash and Gentry didn't exist, I'd be fucking obsessed with my I know that was like when he landed in,
56:03in Las Vegas, I was like, damn. Cause he could have been something.
56:07He's six to, he runs a four, three, three.
56:10It's like the Winkle of lost twins. Right. He's like, I mean, I love the, love the combination of him and him and Gentry.
56:17I mean, that offense could have some explosive plays on the ground, which is exactly what they need.
56:22But yeah, I think overall just came out, came out of that game feeling more confident and like the Raiders offense could be something this year.
56:29Hi, Vince. You, you mentioned Jack bash before we move on.
56:32Do you think he's a guy he's ranked like one millionth in most people's rankings right now?
56:37Do you think he's worth in a redraft league?
56:4010, 12 teams. You think he should be drafted?
56:4210. No 12. If you are weak at receiver, like, I think he's a good end of bench player because you'll probably
56:49find out pretty quickly if he's going to be really involved in the offense.
56:53Cause they have like, there's no like number two receiver on the Raiders.
56:56Like it's Brock Bowers is the one, even though he's a tight end.
57:00And then there's like Jalen Naylor and Jack bet.
57:03And I'm like, you will probably know within a couple of weeks if Jack bash is going to be featured and defenses
57:09will probably, if they end up being like, we're not going to let anyone, but Bowers, anyone, but Bowers can beat us.
57:15Jack bash might just win with the savvy old white guys sitting in the zone, man.
57:20Kirk cousins finds him like, especially in a full PPR league.
57:23I think Jack bash. Yes. And you cut him for some running back in week two.
57:28That's fine. Yeah. If you take him in the last round of your draft, you're basically getting ahead of waivers week one.
57:34Yes. When he like has six catches week one and then everybody adds him.
57:38You're just getting ahead of that. Exactly. And so I think we'll move him up to draft.
57:43But I think Mike Washington is also a flyer.
57:46If you're in a 12 team league, like, you know, if anything happens to gente, I also think he can mix it.
57:52People might be annoyed. Gente is going to rotate a little, like Kubiak is the guy who played Kenneth Walker and Charbonnet together.
57:58Like this world. Gente plays a little bit less than you think.
58:02And Mike Washington's just a guy who runs a four, three, just playing.
58:06By the way, and shout out to Nathan Yonke for, from PFF who does incredible tracking of all these games and like talks about where guys are playing.
58:14They had Jalen Naylor. The Raiders did playing at the X spot and then had Bess in the slot.
58:19So that is kind of the domino here that could really matter for Bess.
58:23So the other one I want to ask you about DK, we haven't, I have no idea what you think about this,
58:29but I want to ask you a very simple question because the Seahawks have this weird situation.
58:34Zach Charbonnet, they're pretending we'll play in week one.
58:37And I'm like Zach Charbonnet allegedly had ACL surgery.
58:39He was around February 20th, like late February, which is like supposed to be nine months.
58:44So unless he didn't have ACL surgery, like Zach Charbonnet is going to be after Halloween probably.
58:49So then you have Janaren Price is a rookie who they were like, we won't give a huge workload.
58:54You have George Alani. Who's like a, you know, a passing down.
58:58He has some pop, but barely played last year.
59:00And then Emmanuel Wilson, who came over from green Bay, who's hurt.
59:04Who's going to lead? The Seahawks play the first game of the season against the Patriots Wednesday night.
59:09Who will lead the Seahawks in snaps and touches in the first game of the season?
59:14Probably George Alani. I want to say the obvious answer is this Janaren Price.
59:18He's going to come back and they're going to give him a heavy workload.
59:22And that's, you know, the most obvious thing that will happen, but I really do think, and this goes across all teams,
59:28but especially the Seahawks, like they, in the past, if guy misses parts of training camp, like that really hurts him.
59:34Like the train keeps moving down the tracks. Janaren Price is lower body soreness.
59:38This happened. This happened with, uh, what's his face?
59:40Rashad Penny. Like he got hurt in training camp early on.
59:44And then Chris Carson came on and was like the Seahawks leading running back for a year or two.
59:49Or one out for Craig. Rashad Penny. Aztec. Rashad Penny.
59:52Just, he struggled with injuries a lot, but I mean, that's just kind of one example where if you get hurt, I
59:58think Rashad Penny like hurt his hand and in his first preseason.
60:02And then it like came back to like bite him.
60:05He didn't, couldn't get on the field as much.
60:07And Chris, we almost had it with him. There were moments.
60:10We almost, I mean, dude, he looked amazing at times.
60:13Um, but yes, I think, man, if I, if I'm just being rational, I think it's going to be George Alani.
60:19If it's, you mentioned he's a pass catching guy.
60:22I think he's a good runner. Can you remind people who he is?
60:26There might be people who've never heard that name before.
60:28He, he played at Boise state. He's five 11, two Oh five.
60:32Um, I believe he went undrafted and he's been, he's been kicking around with the Seahawks for a while.
60:37It's hard to spell H O L A N I.
60:40If you're trying to search him like George. Yeah, he did.
60:43He played five years at Boise state and he had over 3,500 rushing yards.
60:47He was productive. I think he's a good player.
60:50We need to rank this man. I think he's going to like play most of the snaps in week one.
60:56If, if Jadarian price is healthy, sure. We'll see if he's healthy, but basically Jadarian prices ranked as if he's like the
61:02only Seahawk that will play significance, like snaps until Charbonne comes back.
61:05Meanwhile, there's a chance that like, he just doesn't.
61:08Yeah. I think the Helani has the experience has his, he's been in this offense for a couple of years.
61:14Every time he's gotten on the field, I feel like he flashes even in like real games.
61:19He'll get like a carrier here, carrier to the here and there.
61:22Um, and he always kind of looked good to me and you know, it's obviously just, he's a late round guy or an undrafted for agent.
61:29You don't expect much from him, but basically early on, especially with, with price missing opportunities during the preseason, if price comes
61:36back this next week and gets back on there, it's probably going to be price.
61:40That's why they draft him in the first round.
61:43But I do think there's a world pretty, pretty, pretty good shot that Helani is kind of like the leading guy week one for the Seahawks.
61:50We'll see. Cause he's a, he's another like maybe late round, like last draft pick, just because in case he like pops
61:56in week one or something and you just cut him, the, you want to find out the answer immediately.
62:02Maybe Jadarian prices and healthy. We'll figure that out, but that's in a few weeks.
62:06So we'll see. Um, do you think I want to mention the Panthers?
62:10I don't know. I think Shuba Hubbard's a loser and Jonathan Brooks is a winner.
62:14So the Panthers running back situation, they let Rico Dowddle go.
62:17He's in Pittsburgh. Now Shuba Hubbard pulls his hamstring.
62:20So the healthy running back is Jonathan Brooks, who has nine carries in two NFL seasons.
62:24Torrey's ACL fixes. Torrey the same ACL twice. Came back.
62:27Yeah. He just immediately got hurt. He's barely played in the NFL.
62:31And so on one hand, Jonathan Brooks was an incredible NFL prospect.
62:34He's supposed to have an amazing mental makeup. He's an amazing person.
62:38He's a great athlete. He's an explosive player. DK, what do you do with Jonathan Brooks where he is like going, I
62:44mean, God, his rankings like all over the place.
62:47Calm. You know, he's a ninth rounder in some places.
62:49We're a little lower on Jonathan Brooks than other places.
62:52And he's like the sleeper du jour. And my question is like, are we underrating the upside of like, what if this
62:59great prospect is just the starting running back for Carolina?
63:01Or is everyone else in like fricking la la land?
63:04And we're like, it's a, like, it's about touches.
63:07And the guy who has nine touches in two years probably won't suddenly get a ton of touches.
63:12I don't know what, I don't know if everyone else is in la la land or if we're just kind of like
63:18not seeing the forest of the trees here. Yeah.
63:21I think this Jonathan Brooks is the perfect example of a fantasy pick where you're not trying to get sixth place.
63:27Like you're trying to win and he might not get you anything this year because he gets hurt immediately again.
63:33And that's that. And you kind of, we've seen that happen before, but then you have seasons where, you know, like Javante
63:39Williams last year came, like had multiple injuries, came back and, and managed to stay healthy and kind of looked like what
63:45we were expecting from, from him when he came out of college, because, you know, like Javante Williams was a highly regarded draft prospect.
63:52Like he was a tackle breaker, explosive, can play in the past game.
63:56And he just kept getting hurt and kind of forgot about him, kind of gave up on him.
64:01And then now he's back. I think there is a world in which Jonathan Brooks is, he just manages to stay healthy.
64:07His doctor told him he has a great ACL.
64:10I don't know what to do with that information, but, you know, like if it, if it is actually surgically repaired and
64:16doing well now, I think he could run away.
64:19He could run away with the doctors told them.
64:21Cause I think the doctors are just trying to make them.
64:25I'm not actually putting any stock in that, but like Hubbard is hurt.
64:28He has a hamstring injury, I believe. Right. And that could be like, that's the reason we're worried about, you know, Jeremiah
64:35love getting hurt in the, in the preseason coming back.
64:38And then Jonathan Brooks just runs away with it.
64:40We saw this last year when Rico Dowdle had a couple of big games.
64:44They did the hot hand approach and then just gave Rico Dowdle the lion's share of the carries.
64:49And this is, could happen with Jonathan Brooks. He was a highly talented, you know, guy coming out of college and he's just had a bunch of injuries.
64:57It's also been, he, he tore it not last year.
65:00He tore it the year before that. Right. He tore it at the end of 2024.
65:05I think what happened. Yeah. He came back too early basically.
65:08And he re tore his ACL. They decided to play it smart with him last year.
65:13Did not bring him back at all. Yeah. So it's been like 19 months, I think since he, almost 20 months since he last tore his ACL.
65:20To be honest with you, I think he's exactly the type of guy you should be taking late in drafts.
65:26I don't care. The ACL thing is obviously a huge risk, but like we've seen, there are plenty of stories where, I
65:32mean, Christian Watson came back like less than a year after the ACL and looked great.
65:37Like we are in a different era with that.
65:39I'm, I'm a little bit less concerned about the fact that he's going to get re-injured.
65:44Like the Panthers, Carolina, like Canales has a history of just like having one running back in the game and feeding that running back.
65:51Chuba Hubbard has gotten a lot of touches by himself.
65:54Rico Dotto was getting like 20 touches by himself.
65:56I think there are not many other guys this late in drafts that have the opportunity to have that.
66:02I think Jonathan Brooks is the player I've most changed my mind on over the last few weeks.
66:07I agree. I think Jonathan Brooks is the kind of player you go for, for upside.
66:12And it's like Jonathan Brooks versus like Jordan Mason for the Vikings, where Jordan Mason is just an early down running back
66:18who could get some touchdowns and be a great serviceable flex for you.
66:22Jonathan Brooks is like, yeah, so you could strike out.
66:24You could also hit home run. And it might be a little dumb, but I agree that like, I I've probably been wrong about him this season.
66:32I'm going to move him up a little bit.
66:35I think he's, he's like, he's a top under, he's the kind of guy that when it gets to the 10th round,
66:41like we always see the first round, you can't win your draft usually, but you can lose it in the first round.
66:47Like you have to be able to see the path and I can see the path with him.
66:53There are other running backs where I just, I can't, he just plays literally the path is he just plays.
66:58And it's good. Like Rico Dowdle. There was a month where Rico Dowdle was like the top scoring running back in the, the most guards in the NFL.
67:06Right? Like Rico Dowdle just did that. If Brooks is better again, the Panthers have spent money on their offensive line, like the interior, cause Bryce young short.
67:14So they spent money at guard. They have like invested a tackle.
67:18Like the Panthers have a beefy offensive line. Yeah.
67:20So I, I, yeah, it's, I think Jonathan Brooks is a player that we should actually move up quite a bit.
67:26Maybe like you, I think if he ends up being your fourth running back, you're cooking.
67:31Hmm. Yep. This episode is, this episode is brought to you by 20th century studios.

68:35because a bonk is a guy that might not do anything, but made you a little horny for a second.
68:41Yeah. We're stepping outside of the like, who will be relevant this year in fantasy territory here.
68:46And who wants to go first? Heifetz, you want to talk about Ty Simpson?
68:50DK? I know you have thoughts on Ty Simpson.
68:53We have to talk about Ty Simpson. I'll bonk Heifetz on Ty Simpson.
68:56Ty Simpson. So again, taken by the Rams and then everyone was shocked overall.
69:00Thought McVay was mad. And then McVay was like, I'm actually super stoked.
69:04And I was pretending because I didn't want to upset Stafford.
69:07And then the Rams traded for Miles Garrett. And they're like, it was because of that the whole time.
69:13I thought Ty Simpson looked great. I thought he looked fine.
69:16Completed 21 of 25 passes, 190 yards, two touchdowns, no picks.
69:19He, all right, great. I'll take great back. He looked good because my bar was low.
69:24However, I, I, I, I wish I'd counted this 21 to 25, 190 yards.
69:28I swear 19 of these completions were just play action rollouts.
69:31Everything was a bootleg and the linebackers just bid on every, and he kind of like, it looked cool from like the sideline angle.
69:38And then you'd like watch behind. You're like, these are pretty fucking wide open throws.
69:42His arm was better than I thought. He's got more zip on it than I remembered.
69:47And I, but I did think he looked like the first half at Bama before he got hurt.
69:52Uh, but it wasn't as cool as it looked like.
69:55I agree. Every pass was like a seven yard little thing to a receiver.
69:59Yeah. And I, he did that very competently, but like, yeah, I was not like, wow, I'm, I'm watching the next guy.
70:05I did not feel that way. I'm glad Craig was the voice of reason that I didn't have to be because he looked fine.
70:12Obviously, but I wasn't like, Holy shit. I saw it.
70:15I was like, I saw it. Cause I didn't, I was doing stuff on Saturday.
70:19I didn't watch the game live. I came back and I was like getting notified.
70:23Like Adam Schefter's tweeting about Ty Simpson and like, everyone's freaking out about how fucking awesome he was.
70:28And then I watched the game. I was like, yeah, he played like clean.
70:32And it was, that was an encouraging game. Like, I think it's all positive.
70:36There's, you can't take a negative from that game.
70:39Of course not. He was good, but like, but maybe other than the fact that he's still playing behind sets and Bennett.
70:45I will say that since it Bennett was the one who started this game, by the way, which is hilarious that we kind of like glossed over that.
70:53I mean, I think that's normal as they make ceremonially have to climb.
70:57He's going to hurt. He's got to earn it.
71:00That's fine. Whatever. I get it. But like Craig said, you know, a lot of the throws were underneath sort of like check down options.
71:07I, he averaged like four yards for air yards per attempt in this game.
71:11So he was very clean, very efficient, did a good job running the offense, like complimentary.
71:15He ran the offense. Well, I didn't quite, I wasn't quite, I was like, people were victory laughing.
71:21This game, like, ha ha, I told you Ty Simpsons the truth.
71:24Like, okay, maybe like just wait on that a little bit, but he did, he did look competent and ran the offense.
71:30Well, I will say that he did everything he was supposed to do.
71:34Yeah. And you just have to take that, I guess that face value, but I was not like, holy shit.
71:40His arm is way different than I thought, or like, he's so much faster and bigger than I thought he looked, he looked fine.
71:47Complimentary. I was, he had a couple throws where it was like, he had more arm than I, like just after watching
71:53all these other games, I thought his arm, but having said that was on two throws again.
71:58Yeah. Yeah. I think the first five completions he had literally the first five completions he had were just play action bootlegs
72:04to who to right to my boy, Max, to Max clear the time.
72:08Claire baby. I was more excited about Max clear.
72:11This is a confirmation bias, of course, but I really liked, I really liked Max clear coming out and I was like, damn, Max clear.
72:18He's awesome. He had seven catches in this game.
72:20Is that not the preseason? You're like the quarterback.
72:23These are like wide open. All of it was a confirmation bias.
72:26And then the tight end, he's fully admitted. The guy you like is catching the ball.
72:31You're like, well, I'm just getting ahead of it.
72:33Yeah. Let's continue on this trend of ridiculous over the top, over reactions to fourth quarter performances.
72:38Drew Haller on the Steelers look kind of good.
72:41Yep. I don't know. I love, I love throw into Kate, Caden wedge.
72:45Jen, we wet Jen, Caden, wet Jen. Yeah. I don't know how to pronounce his name.
72:49I just know he's the guy who took the draft pick call on the golf course.
72:54Like legend. Caden made me wet Jen. Sure. Drew Haller, three touchdowns and three drives.
72:58Arm is obviously a fucking nuke when he wants to unleash one.
73:02Love it, Craig. But, you know, I thought he looked like, again, fourth quarter caveat playing against players who might not even
73:08make NFL rosters, but he looks better than I thought he would look.
73:12Everything. You know, it's like the guy was learning how to stand at quarterback two months ago with Mike McCarthy.
73:17And so I'm like, he, I don't know. He looked all right.
73:21Like I, he's got all the physical tools. If Mike McCarthy can mold this man to like, know how to check down
73:27and know how to read a defense, it could work.
73:30How quickly we've moved on from Will Howard. How quickly.
73:33We shook his hand. Nice, nice guy. Drew Aller, you know, in dodgeball, when she comes in, he's like, Oh, hold on folks.
73:39She's got a cannon. I do think it was interesting that after the game, this is again, just total coach speak, but
73:46Mike McCarthy was like, we saw him as a first round prospect when we came out.
73:50And so far he's done nothing to like, or he's done nothing, but validate that.
73:55Mike McCarthy, who also said he watched every game from the 2020 season.
73:58And then Jerry said he was lying in the first moment with the press.
74:02Look, Drew Aller has to be completely broken down to the studs and rebuilt, but the bones are there.
74:08Yeah. Like he was throwing balls with touch. His like rollout touchdowns were nice little flicks.
74:12Like he, he was accurate. I don't know. Yeah.
74:15Could have been worse. Like he was pretty good.
74:18It's the kind of, these are the two quarter.
74:20This is the philosophical. Phil, I don't know how I said that word.
74:24The philosophical question about what McVay did with taking the Rams quarterback.
74:27I think the people, I think, including some of you guys, but some people just bash the idea that the Rams would
74:34take a quarterback in the first round. They're like, you're trying to win super bowls.
74:38What are you doing? I disagree with that. Like wholeheartedly.
74:41I think taking a quarterback is when you don't need one has basically always been a good idea in NFL history.
74:47Like the adding average is like 85%. It's smart.
74:49If you're not taking it before you need it, you're just assuming you'll get it when you need it.
74:55And then like, that's a bad idea. I also think the idea that Stafford, what if Stafford gets hurt?
75:00And then Ty Simpson comes in and plays. Like there's a lot, like look at Washington.
75:05You mean Stetson Bennett? Well, they're back out. I'm just kidding.
75:08I'm fucking, I'm fucking with you. No, I know what you mean.
75:11I'm just fucking, I'm just fucking. That's actually, I'm just fucking playing devil's advocate.
75:15I think the question was, why did Sean McVay choose a, like a guy that's so not like Stafford where Stafford's superpower
75:22is now the IQ, but it's, it's the fricking arm.
75:25It's the ability to make throws. Other people can't make with his IQ as a superpower.
75:29And the curiosity was Ty Simpson's like mobile Kirk cousins, where there's, which it's like Jared Goff.
75:34It's like, that's the guy you got rid of a guy that can do what he, but can't, he's not a collaborator, right?
75:41He's just like a Brock Purdy. Yeah. And like, is there a ceiling on that?
75:45And like the, the, the assumption is you end up with someone more like what the Packers did, but you're in love.
75:51You get a toolsy guy, teach them to play football because the ceiling's there.
75:55Now there's no right or wrong. McVay's also never developed a quarterback if we're being honest, but it's just, I'm just saying,
76:02well, I'm just saying he tried with Goff and they almost won a Superbowl and then he got Stafford.
76:07So it's his first time in a way picking one.
76:10And I drew Aller is kind of what I thought McVay would do, which is take the guy who can fucking rip
76:16it and just teach him football for three. He's got a nuke.
76:20Yeah. Yeah. And I think McCarthy, I think it's smart.
76:23Craig, when's this guy starting? When's this guy starting for the Steelers?
76:26Well, it's going to be Mason Rudolph if Rogers gets hurt, but there's, there's, I'm, I'm keeping my, keep my eye open.
76:32Peaked. Your interest is peaked. Yeah. There's a little something there.
76:35It moved is my official review of your hour.
76:38Sure. Moved a little. DK, anyone, anyone make it move for you a little?
76:42Yeah. It moved a little when I watched Anthony Richardson play.
76:45Oh, it always does. Of course. I've always, I look, I've, I've liked Richardson.
76:49I'm aware of his shortcomings and I've heard the camp reports that he was recently demoted to third string for the Colts,
76:56but this felt like a trade showcase for the Colts.
76:58And Anthony Richardson played pretty well. I thought he did have one fumble, which wasn't great.
77:03It was on a scramble and he got hit from behind and fumbled it.
77:07But, but I mean, overall he looked pretty good.
77:1011 for 14 for 145 yards. Also rushed 53 times, 53 yards and a TD.
77:14Um, but I mean, it was just kind of like the stuff you saw early on in his career where there's like
77:20flashes where this guy has incredible physical talents. If he could put it together and, and kind of just clean up some
77:26of the other issues, it would be incredible, especially from a fantasy point of view, obviously because he can run and he's a, he's a big, strong athlete.
77:35Um, so I don't know, just, it moved a little watching that.
77:38I, I hope I just want him to get traded so he can kind of get an opportunity somewhere else.
77:44I don't expect him to be a starter this year, but it feels like the Colts have sort of moved on from
77:50him and he wants to leave the Colts. And so let's get this thing done.
77:54Let's get, get him somewhere else. I don't understand why the dolphins or Cardinals would have just sent a fifth round pick for this dude.
78:01I also think the Colts giving rid of him is just being tired of him, but I'm like, I don't know.
78:07I do know where he should go is the, is the damn Browns with Munkin.
78:12Seriously. Well, I, I still think the Eagles are going to end up with the Anthony Richardson.
78:17Every player at the back end of the Eagles roster is what we talk about.
78:21You should do in fantasy football, which is they should be some crazy outlier in some kind of way.
78:26Yeah. And like the Eagles just are like, we'll take the most athletic person we've ever heard of, even if they don't know what football means.
78:34And like, I still can never get over that.
78:36Jordan, my lotto, who's now a top five left tackle.
78:39Didn't know what a quarterback was when they drafted him.
78:42And like, now they have more international pathway players.
78:45They have the Johnny day. Like all these are Johnny Wilson's like six, seven.
78:49I seriously think Anthony Richardson will end up on the Eagles.
78:52I do think the interception was his fault. He doesn't throw a catchable ball.
78:56It doesn't believe in the concept. It went through the guy's hand.
78:59Yeah. It's too hard. Come on. Richardson. Give me a break.
79:03Special. It's like, Hey, can I offer you 200 yards passing 50 yards on the ground?
79:07A couple electric plays and two turnovers. No matter what.
79:10Come on. The ball went through the guy's fucking hand.
79:13It always happens. Almost. Always. That is almost. Goal close.
79:16Oh no, no. Hit the receiver in the hands.
79:18That is almost. You guys catch the fucking ball.
79:21It's almost always the receiver's fault. But yes, I heard Anthony Richardson talk about this.
79:25And the same week I heard Tom Brady talk about it.
79:28I heard Tom Brady give a three minute speech on throwing a catchable football.
79:32Okay. The same week I heard Anthony Richardson say, if I hit you in the hand, you're going to catch it.
79:38Like, I don't care. And then I heard Justin Herbert, like a year later, talk about how he thought it was like Richardson.
79:45And he's like, I realized that was wrong. And I can't just throw it that hard all the time.
79:50And I, I just, now I see it with Richards.
79:53I used to feel that way. Did he get like, I hit him in the hands.
79:58And now I'm like, I just keep thinking about Brady said.
80:01And Gronkowski says, it's a catchable football. Richardson does not have a catchable football.
80:05And he doesn't think he needs to throw a catchable football.
80:08And if someone could just fucking convince him to do it, I think he'd be pretty good.
80:13Okay. I didn't come up with the idea. Tom Brady.
80:16So we actually want a noodle arm guy. We actually want a guy that's not going to throw it hard.
80:22No, you need to throw a different. Don't you have to throw a hundred miles an hour.
80:27If you only got to, you know, anyway, my, it moved for me when I saw Adele Beckham in a Giants uniform again.
80:33That was unbelievable. Oh, that's so sad. Okay. Mr.
80:36Aaron Rogers, Mike McCarthy, come back to her. That was on the Giants more recently than Rogers and McCarthy were together.
80:42Did I say it moved when Mike McCarthy walked into the building?
80:45No, it, it, it reverted into my body when I saw it.
80:49God, just the reverse. Yeah. Yeah. You have to do a hernia check on you.
80:53Uh, any rookie risk. I will say, speaking of Steelers though, I thought Jeremy Bernard, Jeremy.
80:58Oh yeah. I wanted to bring him up. Inspiration for a Jeremy argument.
81:01The germ. The germ. The germ. He should go, he should be number zero, patient zero.
81:06He should be patient zero. It's a great call.
81:08If anyone's with the Steelers, tell Jeremy Bernard to be zero and patient zero.
81:12I, I, I loved him. He's exactly like the Bama tape.
81:16I feel like I got like, he's not, he's nothing special, athletically speed sized, like none of that.
81:21And then you watch him play football and he's always running the great routes.
81:25He always catches everything through his way. He always gets open.
81:28He always gets upfield. And I'm like, slippery. He's a slippery bugger.
81:31He is like the fact that, yeah, it's just, we, there's still not a metric for just a certain type of way that a guy can play.
81:39Like he doesn't have any of those special tools.
81:42And yet he made like two guys miss in a phone booth on the corner of the field on his first catch.
81:48I think he was like running up the right.
81:51Two guys came on top of him. He just like split between them.
81:54And that's just feel that some people have or don't have, regardless of how fast they are.
81:59He does look good. Feel. I, I love Jeremy.
82:02I, I, it's weird. I don't, I don't know if I want him for fantasy.
82:06Cause I actually do think you're again, they called him on get Bama.
82:10Cause he was so mature. So I actually do think he's one of the rare rookies that could win Aaron Rogers over.
82:16I would almost never entertain it. DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman are both missing practice this week.
82:21I still don't think I want Jeremy Bernard. He's a waiver ad.
82:24He's not a draft pick, but I do think he was going to have like an 11 year career.
82:30Like everything about Jeremy Bernard is like he's a pro.
82:33I kind of feel like he fits the Aaron Rogers offense.
82:36Well, too, just give him the ball and let him do stuff.
82:39Like his Rogers is trying to get rid of the ball quickly.
82:43Yes. Yeah. I want to get hit. Uh, I think maybe he could be like their Rasheed Rice type kind of guy.
82:49Totally. Yeah. Yeah. The flip side is Jacoby lane.
82:52Who doesn't necessarily, uh, do any of those things.
82:54He's literally on the Ravens. The right, the right, the right, rival don't know how much he's getting open or doing the
83:01Jeremy Bernard things, but he just is one of the most incredible catching players.
83:05We've in a like years. What's the deal here?
83:07Is he going to be good or not? Is he going to be relevant or not?
83:12The work, this is like a month in now of this guy's amazing.
83:15He, he plays a preseason game. He catches a touchdown.
83:18He has like 40 yards. DK. Fart or shark.
83:21I don't know what I mean. Yeah. But the opposite.
83:24Fart or shark positive. I tend to believe it's real.
83:27I think it's so funny. This is such a classic example.
83:30I've been thinking this all preseason and kind of just all off season that it's like we study all these big name
83:36receivers, Carnell Tate, Jordan Tyson, Makai Lemon, and the fucking guys that are making the most noise in training camp.
83:42Jacoby lane. He was like a fourth rounder. Cyrus Allen.
83:45He was a fifth, fifth rounder. Caleb Douglas, who was widely panned as the biggest reach in the entire draft for the Dolphins.
83:51We got John scribbling who everyone made fun of, including me for being that for being taken that high, even though I did like him for the record.
83:59I just thought it was like ridiculous that he went 33 overall.
84:03All these rando dudes from the mid rounds are the ones who are like really, really exciting and legitimately could have huge roles with their teams.
84:10I just think it's, it's such a classic example of what a crapshoot the draft is.
84:15And, you know, situation environment are so important for so many of these guys.
84:19And I just think it's, I just think it's a fascinating thing.
84:22Like I did not think Jacoby lane. I was more excited about Elijah Surratt, who I haven't heard a damn thing about in Ravens.
84:29Not having a good camp. Yeah. Also waffle house.
84:32Maybe that in retrospect, that's a bad nickname. Yeah.
84:34So anyways, Jacoby lane, but he looks awesome. He looks real.
84:37And I think the role that he could play in their offense as a big bodied, go up and get it.
84:43He's such the antithesis of Zay, of Zay flowers, where Zay flowers is kind of, you know, moving all over the field.
84:50He's just really explosive and fast and quick and beating guys, um, after the catch and things like that.
84:55And the Jacoby lane is just like, throw the ball in his direction.
84:59He's going to come down with it. Lane lane is, I think his floor is Isaac to slot for the lions where
85:05he has like, the worst case is Jacoby lane has 10 catches this year and three of them make sports center as touchdowns.
85:12Yeah. Uh, I think his ceiling is that he gets all the touchdowns.
85:16We say Zay flowers doesn't catch. And the Jake Toby lane, maybe has 400 yards this year, but like seven touchdowns.
85:22Uh, I do think he can become a real receiver, but he just, he's not going to get off press.
85:27Like he has to be moved around the line.
85:30And that's the problem is like, who's in motion.
85:32He's not going to get off press coverage, but if they can get them in the slot or if they can just
85:39get them offset somehow or in motion for the snap, um, he's an intriguing player.
85:43Cause I, he's, it's like fly paper. It's, it's just, anything goes his way.
85:47Do you think he should be drafted in like a 12 team redraft league?
85:51Probably not. DK. Probably not just because he's going to be behind Zay flowers, probably Rashad Bateman and probably Mark Andrews.
85:57He's more of a dynasty intrigue for me, which speaking of during this very podcast, I just got a trade offer from
86:03our very own Danny Heifetz in our dynasty league.
86:06I was praying you'd find this. Heifetz is offering me a second round draft pick in 2027 for Jordan Tyson.
86:12I was trying to, I got the idea when you said, yeah, it's so hard to like, just not be in the
86:18moment and give up on a guy. Um, no, I will not accept your late second round pick for Jordan.
86:24I just was sure. I don't know. He could never play.
86:27What's up with this hamster? He's seeing like a third specialist.
86:30What's going on? You're right. I mean, first round talent.
86:33If you want to offer me a first, let's talk.
86:36If I, what would I have to offer you?
86:38He's not going to take it, but I'll talk.
86:41Yeah. Craig and I, I once made, uh, we, we had a negotiation and I offered him, I think four first round picks for Justin Jefferson.
86:48This was last year's trade deadline. Yeah. And I offered him four first round picks and we were going back and forth.
86:55And I was like, I'm not going over four first round picks.
86:58That's like enough. I felt it was fair for just Jefferson.
87:01And then I just went to bed. I was like, let me know what you do.
87:06It set it to like six hours. I went to bed and I just went to bed and I woke up and
87:12I was like, wondering if I would have Justin Jefferson or four first round picks.
87:17I think this team was good. So they're, they would all probably be like late first for at least the first couple of years.
87:23And I was like, I got to say, I'm kind of a sneaky GM.
87:27If you kind of look at my squad, kind of drafted some bangers, Tyler shock tootin.
87:32I've been taking guys in the late rounds that have pop quorum saying lad, I kind of have the eye, but where'd you finish last year?
87:39Fourth from last, which by the way, you two scrubs eliminated from our fantasy baseball league.
87:44Me, I'm in. Well, I wasn't going to mention that I won that dinish the league you're talking about, but since you
87:50called me a baseball scrub, I did win the other league.
87:54I'm just, I just showed up one, like five straight made the playoffs.
87:57You two. Yeah. All right. You guys are in Cabo right now.
88:01Any, any other things with these rookie receivers or preseason that you want to hit?
88:05You guys buying Cyrus Allen on the chiefs? Oh, I'm starting to give in.
88:09I do think that the chiefs actually need a player like him.
88:12Sorry. So again, he's the rookie receivers of fifth rounder DK.
88:16Mm-hmm. I think so. Yeah. I, yeah, he looks legit.
88:18Like every time you see him, every time you see a replay of play that he made at practice or, I mean,
88:25in this game for what it's worth, I think the one catch he had was a screen player, just a quick out,
88:31but, um, but yeah, he just moves different. He's really, really twitchy.
88:35And I think the deal is he can get open against press coverage and man coverage, which they don't really have other guys that can do that.
88:42That Cyrus Allen had a catch this week where he just went up and got that ball.
88:47And you know, all I could think was, man, they don't have anyone who does that anymore.
88:52I agree. He, he, he brings like a, like an athleticism that you don't really see.
88:57Rishi Rice and Xavier Worthy are both talented in their own specific ways, but I wouldn't call either of them like super athletic.
89:03Um, so Rishi Rice is athletic, I guess. Oh yeah.
89:06He's fast. I love that Worthy 40 yard dash record is not athletic, but I, yet somehow I knew.
89:12You know what I mean, right? Like he doesn't have that like five tool athleticism.
89:16Your best take is that Xavier Worthy doesn't look that fast.
89:19He doesn't. He doesn't look like the guy who set the record.
89:22Does it look like the fastest player in history?
89:25No, no, uh, no, all these rookie guys are exciting, but I wouldn't take any of them.
89:30Alki fields, the giants, Caleb Douglas. I wouldn't draft anything.
89:33Cyrus Allen. I, Cyrus Allen's a worthy flyer. Like I would pick him just cause where they could get hurt again instantly.
89:39Cause he's 160 pounds. And so Cyrus Allen's the guy of all these rookies that I would actually, if we're playing the,
89:45uh, confirmation bias Olympics, Jonah Coleman looked legit. On his, on his like whatever four runs that he had.
89:51I was like, damn, I wish so much. I didn't have to be against him.
89:55There's really, it's, there's a very serious chance. The Broncos just have the best record in the NFL.
90:00And Jonah Coleman is the lead running back third down and goal and care running back for them.
90:05He just looks like a real NFL running back.
90:08What Craig was saying basically about Jeremy Bernard, which is that he just has a feel for playing football.
90:13That's how exactly how I feel about Jonah Coleman.
90:16He just looks like a running back. He, he knows how to be patient at times.
90:21He knows how to like, uh, you know, bounce, bounce the run.
90:24If he needs to run through a tackle spin move.
90:27Um, he's just got like functional football ability. I can't explain it, but he just looks so good compared, especially compared to
90:33Harvey, who just didn't really do anything in the game.
90:36So I don't know, kind of getting excited about Jonah Coleman.
90:39All right. Can we get to the real, the real, the real loser of the preseason?
90:44Yes. We buried the lead here. The loser of the preseason is Jaden Daniels.
90:48Can you, okay. I need you to explain this to me.
90:51Like I'm five years old. Cause I haven't, I kind of, this, this story has kind of gone over my head.
90:57I didn't like look into it. Tell me what's happening with Jaden Daniels.
91:01Everyone's memeing him to death. The short version is Jaden Daniels revoked LSU's right to use his name, image and likeness.
91:07Cause they issued number five to a five-star cornerback.
91:09And then also he threw a tantrum. He threw a tantrum.
91:13Okay. And cause they gave his number away to another good player.
91:16And when the, I mean, all you need to know is the New York Mets won a game for one and posted.
91:22We, we kept it away from five out of respect for Jaden Daniels.
91:26Like when the Mets are making fun of you, but I, what actually happened, it turns out, I think a booster for
91:32LSU promised a cornerback, a number, and then that Lane Kivita to go with it.
91:37But here's my question for you guys. Is it more embarrassing if Jaden Daniels was like, I'm mad about that.
91:42I'm going to have my lawyers tell LSU to kick rocks.
91:45Or is it more embarrassing if his mom just did it for him?
91:49I mean, mom, I think so too. Yeah. If I'm Jaden Daniels, cause he tried to blame his team and I'm like,
91:56he should just pretend that it was him. He should just be like, I got really mad.
92:00I care about my Heisman. I think your mom just doing that for you is actually, you're a quarterback of a team.
92:07It's incredibly petty. Let me ask you this. Like what Craig, Craig's like, here's, here comes a good question.
92:12No, I don't know. How, what, what do you have to accomplish in college where your number cannot be used again?
92:18He won a Heisman. Yes. They didn't make the national championship.
92:21They didn't win a national championship. Did they make the semifinals?
92:24They didn't make the playoffs. Like, is that more important than the Heisman or do you need both?
92:30Like what, what needs to happen where you can kind of credibly say my numbers off limits forever?
92:35So forever, to be clear. So LSU doesn't retire jerseys.
92:38I think it's just Billy Cannon. Joe Burrow has not been, it's not retired, but they're not reissuing it again.
92:43Sure. Heisman and when undefeated. It's off limits. I would, most schools, if you want a Heisman, you, you would probably reissue it.
92:50I will say this. LSU, like Penn state has a tradition where, and I think NFL teams should do this.
92:56I think retiring jerseys is actually stupid. They should do what LSU does, which is it becomes an honor.
93:01And it's like, they pass it down. Like Abdul Carter asked for Lawrence Taylor's number.
93:05And everyone's like, you have no respect. It's like, no, number 11 gets passed down at Penn state from like Nevorah.
93:11Yeah. It's an honor. Sure. LeVar Arrington to Nevorah Bowman to like, uh, to Micah Parsons.
93:16It's like, it's a, it's a responsibility. You have to uphold the number.
93:20The Cowboys have that with the receivers with 88.
93:22And it becomes like, you have a group chat and like, you're learning.
93:26It's like a fraternity of it's like, so the LSU has done this number.
93:30I think seven, like Patrick Peterson, like all the best players get a number.
93:34So you had two roads. You create a path where like, Hey, number five, you have to uphold the, the, the, the
93:40legacy of number five, or, um, my lawyers have rescinded your ability to use my picture.
93:45And it's like, it's so pathetic. Oh man. This is like when you like, this is just like the same energy as like wiping the monopoly board.
93:53And when you're losing, when you've like officially run out of money and you're like, I just got off.
93:58Yeah. You see the one there? Like, they're going to remove a side of the building from the Pentagon.
94:04It's out of respect for James. Oh, the square.
94:06Um, I don't know. I feel like I do Craig to answer your question.
94:10I do kind of feel like the Heisman should be enough.
94:13Like winning the Heisman is pretty fucking sick. Um, but that being said, the reacting this way to not to them using
94:20your number is really sad because they don't, they just don't retire numbers.
94:23But I do think like, generally if you ask me, is winning the Heisman enough to get your number retired at a college?
94:30I would say, yeah, I think so. Do you guys think you would care enough about this?
94:35It's, it's really hard to say. I can't fathom that level of athletic accomplishment.
94:39It's, I don't know, to be honest. Yeah. I'd like to think no, but I don't know if I was Jane Daniels.
94:45I don't know. You're not a competitive psycho. I don't know.
94:48I'm not in the NFL. I know what you're saying though, where it's like, but he did win the Heisman.
94:54Like you'd think that just winning the Heisman, and you're like, yeah, you don't get that number.
94:59Is there also, do you think there's more to this story?
95:02Do they, wait, did they ask him how it is?
95:05A five-star recruit who has worn five his whole life, and apparently was promised it by someone.
95:10I don't know if, I think it was a booster, not the coach, but he's like, I've worn five my whole life.
95:16And like, you need a five-star recruit. Do you think Jaden is just upset that he wasn't consulted first?
95:22Like, do you think if they had come to him and they're like, hey, this recruit wants five, how do you feel about it?
95:29We obviously want to come to you first out of respect.
95:32Jaden? Right, right. Yeah. Air quotes Jaden. But do you think had they, had they contacted Jaden and his team, this could
95:38have been approved, but under certain more respectful circumstances?
95:41Maybe. I don't know. I, I, I'm embarrassed for everybody.
95:43If I was the corner, you know what I would do?
95:47I'd be like, Jesus, you can take it. That's even more pathetic.
95:50Yeah. I'd be like, Jesus Christ, you care that much?
95:53Fine. I'll be six. Relax. Do you think the commanders are talking shit behind his back?
95:58Do you think they're showing him the memes and he's in on it?
96:01Or do you think they're all like seeing the memes and like, not like laughing, like, like, and then he walks in
96:08the room and they're hiding their phones. Do you think he's texting his mom?
96:12Like mom, everyone's, everyone's making fun of me. He doesn't have to text her.
96:16She's in the room. He has like a job.
96:18She's dude. She's, it's a known thing. She's never more than 30.
96:22He has like social media child's lock on his phone.
96:24So maybe he doesn't know. Maybe he doesn't know this is happening.
96:28It's true. Otherwise, this is brutal. I mean, all these guys are online all the time.
96:32Like, I don't know how you get through that.
96:35Hopefully being part of the joke or yeah. Or he's just like, dude, my mom's crazy.
96:40Like so annoying. I don't really care. Anyway, let's go play football.
96:43Throw me the ball, please, sir. All right. Other rent, a couple other random things.
96:47This one had hit. First of all, I don't know if you guys saw this, but I don't know who this, how
96:54to say this to man's name, Sierra, right? A cornerback for the bangles and undrafted free agent who made a couple tackles in the bangles preseason debut.
97:01Quit the bangles to pursue an acting opportunity. I did see this.
97:05He, at first I was like, what? And then I saw he went to USC for three of five years.
97:11So LA, and he was actually played LeBron James's son in space jam too, which is not nothing.
97:16What? Yeah. And so he, he couldn't say what the, what the movie was, but he quit to do, he quit to, to, to go do the movie.
97:24Cool. Cool. Cool. I mean, go for it. You know what I mean?
97:28Correct. Pursue your dreams. What movie do you think?
97:30What role would be big enough to just not try to make the corn, the bangles practice squad for me?
97:36No, no, not for someone who's shot. Like, think about the, movies of which you can't remember their names that you've been in.
97:42If this kid had a shot to like, well, I don't know.
97:46Maybe this is probably way too big. I'm trying to think of like, if he could be in like a, like a
97:52bad comic book, Marvel movie as like a top five character, you'd have to do that.
97:57I think like, if he can be like the most irrelevant X-Men and the new X-Men, you have to do it.
98:03I think. Oh, easily. I mean, that's no brainer, right?
98:06Sure. It's longer than an NFL career. Yeah. But if it's like, he's doing Indies and has no leads, I don't know.
98:12I really want to know what it is though.
98:15The, the other thing I had to mention was, you know, it's winners losers, but I also wanted to mention risers and fallers.
98:21And I wanted to just shout out Puka Nuku as a faller.
98:25As then he literally said, he fell through the glass window pane at Michael Rubin's white party.
98:29The problem I have is not that he did it.
98:32You know, it happens to the best of us.
98:35You get a little loose at a party. Windows are actually clear.
98:38So why did this man do Logan Paul's podcast?
98:41Yeah. Is what is his team doing? Having Puka Nuku do Logan Paul's podcast.
98:45Glad you said that. I was shocked because part of it was also like, he went to rehab this year and then he's goes on Logan Paul's show.
98:53And it's like, yeah, I fell through a window pane, you know, like this summer.
98:57I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
99:00I don't know. I guess you can't stop him.
99:02If you wanted to do it, he gets to do it.
99:06But Bill had, Bill had the Tyson zone thing.
99:08They're like, like you would believe any story about Mike Tyson.
99:11And we, I think Puka, we have to induct him into the Tyson zone.
99:15A hundred percent. You can tell me anything happened to him in this offseason.
99:19I would believe it at this point. I just love that he went on Logan Paul's podcast.
99:24His agent's like, Hey man, you've had kind of a wild summer.
99:28Maybe just lay low for a little bit until we get this contract extension worked out.
99:32Oh, you wait, you're going to a Logan, Logan Paul's podcast.
99:35Great. Cool. Cause you always want to be like, what are they thinking?
99:39Went through a door. But Puka is the same thing to me as Kim Scadaboo, where he does something like that.
99:45I'm like, what are you thinking? And then you remember it's like the Simpsons thing with the monkey symbols.
99:51It's like, that's, you know what I mean? Yeah.
99:53Like you go on, if you like look at the show, it's like Logan Paul challenges Puka Nakua to a fight.
99:59I'm like, what are we, what are we doing?
100:02I think lay low. All right. That's my Gen Z.
100:05Cause here's the thing. I feel like, you know, there's like headlines on the internet that like, you're like, who would ever
100:11click on this, but they're like spam texts. And you're like, well, they get sent because boomers click on them.
100:17And you're like, boomers have no idea. And like that, what you just said, that kind of headlines, like a Gen Z.
100:23I had multiple people ask me about the Logan Paul Brady thing being like, did you see that?
100:28Like the slap? That was crazy. Can you believe it?
100:31And I was like, this is all fake. It's all fake.
100:34No, yeah. The, yeah. Brady, who's just been doing press with Michael Rubin for like years now.
100:39Like, I don't think it was like an orchestrated slap.
100:42You could see Logan Paul from a different angle, get his hand in front of it to block it.
100:47He didn't even really get palm to face. No, man.
100:50It's all smoke and mirrors. It's all Hollywood. This segment is brought to you by chat.
100:55GPT, the ringer fantasy football AI sponsor. We looked at the biggest risers and fallers in ADP this week, and I want
101:01to just take you guys through them. So the biggest risers in ADP this week.
101:05So Stefan digs on the commanders, Jacoby lane on the Ravens rookie who catches everything.
101:10And then Marshall Lloyd, who also went to USC, like Jacoby lane, who's the backup running back from the Packers seems to
101:16be beating Chris Brooks out for the backup Packers job.
101:19And Josh Jacobs is a little injured. So Marshall Lloyd has not played a lot cause he's been hurt, but he could
101:25be a guy who rises a lot. Biggest fallers.
101:28Isaac Tesla did not have a good preseason game, had a couple of drops and bobbles that I was, I'm a little upset about Isaac Tesla.
101:35Isaiah Pacheco. Also the lions hurt, hurt his MCL out a month.
101:39Gonna play week one. Not great. And then Jerry Judy for the Browns who is just getting frame mogged by Denzel Boston
101:45in case he can sepcion in Cleveland and has to deal with Deshaun Watson.
101:49Jerry Judy is a, yeah. Jerry Judy has such a weird career.
101:52Jerry Judy, like not long ago, like had a stretcher.
101:55He led the league in NF in receiving yards.
101:58Every time that. Jameis Winston, baby. Jameis. He literally led the NFL in receiving yards for a while.
102:03Every time I get upset about a fantasy pick that I get wrong.
102:07I remember the John Elway took Jerry Judy over Justin Jefferson.
102:10The, the one that jumps out to me most here is probably Marshawn Lloyd.
102:14Uh, he's definitely like a darling in the fantasy communities of people like wish cast him to be good, but he's taking
102:20all the reps right now at the first team.
102:23If Josh Jacobs, I don't know. Do you think Marshawn Lloyd is like one of the better handcuffs, stash picks you can make in drafts?
102:30Kirkland brand. Jonathan Brooks, guy who's barely played football.
102:33That was pretty talented. Yeah. Yeah. I think theoretically he is just because he is looks like the clear cut number two back on that team.
102:40And, you know, came into the NFL. He was highly regarded as a running back coming into the NFL.
102:46I mean, he's super explosive, fast guy with plenty of production, good in the passing game.
102:50So I think theoretically, but again, it's like hard to trust with the injury thing.
102:54Yep. Today's smartest thing this week was brought to you by chat GPT work, a new way to use chat GPT for bigger multi-step projects.
103:02It can help turn stats and research into analysis.
103:04You can review. You still make the call. Put chat GPT to work on your most ambitious ideas and projects.

103:13You guys talk to yourself when you're alone. You know, I don't, but I've heard it's really good for you.
103:19Yeah, I do. Legitimately psychologically. It's like actually very good for you to talk to yourself, especially positive self-talk.
103:24It's fascinating. Fascinating science. You will be good at fantasy football this year.
103:28You will be good at fantasy football. Don't well, don't sob.
103:31Don't weep. Right, right, right. You have to pretend to be calm.
103:35You're tricking your brain into believing something. Craig, I will occasionally talk to myself when I'm alone.
103:39And it is kind of nice. Email us at ring of fantasy football, gmail.com.
103:43If you know about talking to yourself, you're alone, either personal experience or just what's going on with that.
103:49And doggone it. People like you. I mean, look at castaway.
103:52You know what I mean? I think I would need a Wilson within like three days.
103:57I'd have to argue with DK. What's your, what object are you picking?
104:00If we had to do the Wilson object draft.
104:03Well, I mean, that could get dangerous. Nothing for sexual pleasure.
104:06I think you're not going to, I don't need to cut in a hole in the coconut or anything.
104:12Okay. I mean, part of me is like a baseball just because you could toss it.
104:16But you're talking about just as a friend to have to talk to.
104:20It needs to be your friend. That has to be somewhat face looking.
104:24You think? Probably. Volleyball's a good one, especially at the beach.
104:27Did he play with the volleyball? I haven't seen castaway in a while.
104:30Does he like? No, he like placed it next to the fire and just like talk to it and stuff.
104:36There's no bumping and setting and spiking. He's not, he's not playing pepper with it.
104:40What is your question? What, what object would you pick to have to be your Wilson?
104:45It's a perfectly normal question to ask. And to be clear, it can't be a blow up sex doll.
104:51No. Okay. It could be, but you can't have sex with it.
104:54Unless we think, unless we think Tom Cruise is, or Tom Hanks is having sex with Wilson.
104:59I don't, I don't think. How long was he there?
105:02A fucking long time. You get lonely. Four years?
105:04I think Bill thinks he was hooking up with Wilson.
105:07What, how does, how does the mechanics of that work, Craig?
105:10I think there's maybe like a, a backdoor situation.
105:13Okay. A small incision was made. Hmm. Okay. It has to be something that feels human.
105:17Like you're right. A, a, a, a, a circle looks like a head.
105:21You can kind of connect with that. If you chose a baseball bat, it's like, can you really kind of personify a baseball bat?
105:28Maybe not. I don't think you can. I don't know.
105:31Oh, football helmet is interesting. Easy to carry. Cause then you can, then you can put it on and you guys are
105:37like hanging out to get, it's like, you're giving them a piggyback ride.
105:41I'm getting inside your head. Yeah. That's not bad.
105:44Let's spin off this planet. Yeah. Cause like a pair of shoes.
105:47It's like, wait, you're not going to become friends with a pair of shoes.
105:51Obviously. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. All right.
105:54All right. Okay. Thank you. DK. Thank you, Craig.
105:56Thank you to Tom Hanks for your work on cast away.
106:00Thank you. Need a kill. Thank you. Cam. Thank you.
106:02Boo. Thank you. Carlos. Thank you. Austin. Thank you everyone for listening.
106:06Email us. We're going fancy football. Gmail.com. We'll take fantasy questions.
106:09We'll also take, what was the things we asked for?
106:12I wanted whatever I said earlier. Send me that.
106:15And we want fantasy punishments for the ringer fantasy football league, which again, live draft.
106:19In less than two weeks. Do we have time, Craig?
106:2211 a.m. Pacific on Friday, the 28th. 11 a.m.
106:24Pacific on Friday, the 28th. We're going to be doing the ringer fantasy football league draft live on Netflix at tune in at 11 a.m.
106:31Pacific 2 p.m. Eastern. Thank you, Lord. Lord. I got one if you want it.
106:36Let's see it. All right. Millennial Bangers continues. The playlist is now live.
106:39Link in the description of the episode. It's out there.
106:42Check it out. I'm going to keep adding to it.
106:45Today. Boy, do I have a gem for the two of you today.
106:49You've come on the right day. The chef has really cooked up something special just for the two of you.
106:55This is from 2010. This is the song, like a G6 from far East movement and the cataracts.
107:00Oh, yes. Which is up there for maybe the most millennial sounding song ever made.
107:04I fly like a G6. I think it had sounded as much before.
107:08Yeah, yeah. Now I'm feeling so fly like a G6.
107:11The way the, like the actual melody of the song is incredibly 2010.
107:14This song also popularizes a couple terms, or at least puts them into the mainstream.
107:19Slizzard, getting slizzard, which is just a remarkable millennial term.
107:22Sizzurp is in this song, sipping Sizzurp in my ride.
107:24Like three, six mafia. Now I'm feeling so fly like a G6.
107:28Just a really, like this song rattles your, your speakers in the car.
107:32When you, when you got the crew jammed in and you're 17 years old, it's a blast.
107:37This song rips. I remember this song coming on in the car when I was a kid and my mom feeling like she had lost all touch.
107:44I don't know you anymore. I remember it. Yeah.
107:47Popping bottles in the ice, like a blizzard. When we drink, we do it right.
107:51Getting slizzard, sipping Sizzurp in my ride. I mean, this is one of those where my mom listened to Fleetwood Mac and I'm bumping this.
107:58I know. I was going to say, my mom loves like rumors.
108:02Like my parents had Leonard Skinner or not Leonard or Led Zeppelin or whatever.
108:06And then we're talking about like a blizzard popping bottles in the ice, like a blizzard.
108:10Really tortured similes. I feel like this. I thought the same thing when I first heard it.
108:15Tortured similes. I can't explain though. Like if you don't know this song, you have to listen to it.
108:21It sounds so millennial. It sounds so 2010. Is there anything lamer than like a white person saying Sizzurp?
108:26I don't know anything about the cataracts. I don't know who that is.
108:30I thought you were making, I honest to God thought you were making that up when you said that.
108:35No, when they do songs, they go, it's the cataracts.
108:38Is that what you're saying? Hip hop duo. Don't know them.
108:41The cataracts. I assumed the woman singing was in that.
108:44I kind of, I'm not, I think my entire life, I thought this song was made by the people who did party rock.
108:51Oh, LMFAO. I just kind of assumed that they made like a G6 and I'm kind of shocked to learn that they did not.
108:58No, it's, it's Far East movement, which is like a, like a Korean hip hop group.
109:02And then the cataracts, which I'm now seeing are two white dudes from Berkeley.
109:06That tracks. Which checks out. That's kind of, that's exactly right.
109:09Far East movement I remember now. Yeah, Far East movement.
109:12Yeah. Dude, I, the amount of DJs that are big, that are just two white dudes, either from like Sweden or the Bay is.
109:19DJ, really the original podcasters. I know. My, my friend Chris and I were always like the greatest job that two white
109:25dudes can have is the chain smokers. That's just, that's it.
109:29It's the best job in the world. Yeah. Like, you, you travel globally.
109:32You are like huge globally. You're just playing clubs and stadiums and all this shit.
109:37You're like not, you can like go to the store.
109:40No one knows who you are. You probably make so much money.
109:43It's just, it's probably the best. Do you rather be chain smokers or Daft Punk?
109:47I mean, similar, very similar. I don't know. They're both great.
109:50The Daft Punk was like trying to be anonymous.
109:53Chain smokers aren't doing that. And so they probably get a little bit more of the, the, the benefits of fame.
109:59So I guess I would take chain smokers. Daft Punk is like cooler and definitely more like, you know, artsy.
110:05These chains, the guy, I never seen the guys who are the chain smokers.
110:09These are the two most average white looking guys.
110:11Like I would never an ability. I could walk by these guys.
110:15They could be my next door neighbor. I would have no idea.
110:18Yeah. These dudes, they look like they host that TCPN podcast.
110:21Like you, whatever that's called. TPPN. Like they could just be anyone.
110:25Like I'm white, but I feel like if I saw these, I feel like if I was like, those are the chain smokers, it would be like racist.
110:33That's just, that's just a white guy with a beard.
110:36Yeah, dude. They're living the fucking dream. I don't know their names.
110:39I don't know how old they are. They don't even have Wikipedia.
110:43You can't even click their names on Wikipedia. Alex, Paul and Drew Taggart.
110:46They don't even have Wikipedia pages for themselves. Alex and Drew.
110:49That's incredible. Also, you know that when they were kind of come up with a name, they were like, this is available.
110:56Like one of the odds that chain smokers wasn't nabbed in the seventies.
111:00I got, I got like a G6 plane right now in my ears.
111:03Damn. G6. Oh my God. Now do you think, do you think who makes G6 Boeing?
111:08Do you think they gave them a G6? Is that a company or a brand?
111:12I don't know. They 100% got to fly around in a G6.
111:16I'm not really an expert on, private jet. They must have a G6.
111:19They must each have a G6, right? It's an, uh, it's a Gulfstream G650.
111:23Weren't we just talking about Gulfstream? No, that was someone else.
111:26We were talking about Globemasters. Oh, Globemaster. No, uh, my friend texted me.
111:30Yeah. And they, they wanted you to know DK that while Globemaster is a big plane, there are like much larger planes.
111:36And they sent me a photo that makes Globemaster look like a little bitch.
111:41Oh, wow. Okay. Can I show you this photo?
111:43So, so you think there's bigger planes named six?
111:46Uh, wait, I know you, when you see this photo, you'll know you got, look at this photo.
111:51I'm going to send it to you right now.
111:53That's a Globemaster next to a real plane. Oh, geez.
111:56What's this other fucking guy? I would think the Globemaster would be the biggest one.
112:01No. What's this other thing? Fucking Galaxy Master. I know that the plane, it's such a bigger plane.
112:06You guys are going to be here in a week, right?
112:09For a couple of weeks. Do you think we're going to get slizzard any night?
112:13No slizzard? Oh man. I certainly hope so. Craig, do you, can you pack scissor as a carrier?
112:18Do you have to check it? Uh, how many ounces is it?
112:22Well, we're going to need a lot. Less than four, I think.
112:25That's not enough for you. Okay. A carrier version.
112:28I think you should check the scissor and then, yeah.
112:31You guys ever double cupped? No, I have not.
112:33How dare you, sir? I don't, how could you say that?
112:36I don't actually know what it means, but it sounds bad.
112:40I was thinking of two girls, one cup. Oh, hell.
112:42My God, you took it from a five to a 10.
112:46I didn't want people to be unclear on what I was referencing there.
112:49Dude. That was what I was thinking of. I really think that, that women don't, don't know the horrific shit that teen
112:56boys used to watch on their, quite literally. No clue.
112:58Yeah. They have no fucking idea the horrors we have seen.
113:02You know what I mean? Like, I mean, the greatest generation had world war two and we had the internet.
113:07We're on lemon party and we're watching two girls, one cup.
113:11Friends would just send you meat spin links and tell you like, there's a snow day tomorrow.
113:15Oh my God. You guys are rattling them off.
113:18I still, to this day, like once a year, a friend will send a dummy link about some fake news story and
113:24it'll take you to like meat spin. Yeah. It's the things we've seen.
113:28We've seen some shit. Yeah. Like there's a, there's a two girls, one cup, like extended universe of like even more horrific shit.
113:35Extended universe. Yeah, dude. I don't want emails about this.
113:37No one contact us. No dummy links. No contacting us.
113:40What is, what's double cup though? Sorry. Double cup is like, it's Cody scissor lean, lean purple drink.
113:46Got it. Got it. Got it. Got it. Got it.
113:48So not what I was thinking. It's what you think.
113:51Not where, not where my mind went on that one.
113:54I think we're going to have to get you some scissor.
113:57That's what I'm learning. All right. DK is like, I'm not talking about two girls, one cup.
114:02I've never done that. Have you seen that video DK?
114:05I have not. You ever seen kick farts? That was another one.
114:08Now I'm afraid. Cause I don't know what that is.
114:11And that makes me scared. No, I, uh, I, I learned what two girls, one cup was.
114:16And then I didn't, I decided not to watch that.
114:19Well, cause you were too old. Like when you were in high school, you didn't have, you didn't have access to the sicko shit that we could watch.
114:27When did that come out? I feel like it was a thing.
114:31It came out on the internet. Check IMDB. When did it come out?
114:34I think the box office was great. I think it was at can in 04.
114:39When they drop it. Oh my God. This is DK's version of everyone.
114:42When he was in high school, thought Marilyn Manson had taken out a rib.
114:46And we all watched like the fucking crazy videos of the internet.
114:50We were watching real people. Try that. Yeah. Dude.
114:52You know what? One of the enduring legacies of the show is the fact that we talked about porn in the woods.
114:59I still get people talking to me and like bringing up or like tagging me in some story about people finding porn in the woods.
115:06I think my favorite, not the best moment of this pod, but my favorite is after you talking about porn in the
115:12woods for years and insisting that it was real and normal.
115:15Then Craig and I once implied that you had jerked off in the woods and you're like, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa.
115:22How dare you? You were very different, very different concept here.
115:25There's porn. There's porn in the woods that you can just look at.
115:29What is the point of porn? I think it's been collapsed with the internet, to be honest.
115:34Had a thing called the spank bank, Craig. You got to remember it for later.
115:38I had to walk uphill both ways in the snow with the porn in my head.
115:43Well, I would still like to be clear that I was not jerking off in the woods.
115:48All right. That's the line. It's just so funny to me.
115:51Some people probably did. Yeah, dude, I bet. You're walking into the woods to find it.
115:55You don't think a one 14 year old in the history who's found porn in the woods is like, you know what?
116:02No one's around. Speaking of no one's around. Yeah.
116:04I think if DK ever started a band, it would be called porn in the woods.
116:09That should be the name of the thing. It's just a little, like I got to get it quicker.
116:14It's gotta be quicker, more catchy. Oh, you gotta be quicker than that.
116:18Porn woods, wood porn, woods porn. I don't know.
116:21That's that's like, I think porn in the woods place, but yeah, maybe that's just the name of your first album.
116:27Yeah. It was a universal experience. Craig. Goodbye. Everyone must be 21 plus and present in select States for Kansas and affiliation
