26

A.J. Brown

NegativeValue30:01

AJ Brown is a 'name brand' WR8 (ADP 23) who remains a high-volume, elite talent, but carries significant risk due to recurring health issues (hamstrings/knees).

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveValue52:34

DJ Moore is a massive value, currently being drafted in the sixth round despite a statistical profile similar to Zay Flowers, who is a third-round pick. Moore is expected to dominate the target share in the Bills' offense under head coach Joe Brady, who is reportedly obsessed with making Moore the focal point of the passing game.

Insight page
PositiveUsage58:09

DJ Moore is expected to command a massive target rate in the Bears offense; he remains a reliable, high-floor player who is undervalued by the market.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue19:37

D'Andre Swift is a value target in the Bears' offense, functioning as a 'safe' option with league-winning upside should Kyle Mononga miss time.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

PositiveBreakout23:08

Emeka Egbuka is a top target at ADP 40, offering a discount compared to JSN. He is expected to play the 'Z' role (Cooper Kupp's former role) under new play-caller Zach Robinson, with potential for a massive target share in two-WR sets.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

NegativeValue59:16

Harold Fannin is currently the TE6 with an ADP of 67th overall; while he set the Browns rookie catch record last year, he is viewed as a similar profile to Isaiah Likely but at a significantly higher cost.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveSleeper59:16

Isaiah Likely is a high-upside target at TE12 (104th overall) who functions as a receiver in a tight end's body; if he secures a 75% snap share, he has top-six tight end potential and could easily become the Giants' number two target behind Malik Nabers.

Insight page

Jayden Higgins

PositiveSleeper36:42

Jaden Higgins is a massive sleeper at ADP 125 (rounds 11-12). He possesses elite size (6'4"), athleticism, and technical route-running, and is expected to be a key part of the Texans' two and three-receiver sets.

Insight page
PositiveValue38:21

Jaden Higgins is the most mispriced receiver in football, currently being drafted three rounds too late. He is a big, rangy receiver who wins at the catch point and has been a superstar in camp. With the Texans expected to improve their offensive line and push the ball downfield, Higgins is poised to play in two and three-receiver sets, avoiding the rotation issues seen with other depth receivers.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

NegativeDepth Chart57:14

Keon Coleman has been a mess, struggling with practice attendance and work ethic issues that led to him being placed on the inactive list during his rookie season.

Insight page

Khalil Shakir

NegativeRole57:05

Khalil Shakir is a good player who serves primarily as the slot receiver for the Bills, but he is viewed as a complementary piece rather than a primary target.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeUsage12:00

Kyron Williams is a reliable, high-floor fantasy asset who has averaged 15 touchdowns per season over three years and never finished lower than RB11; however, his ceiling is capped by Blake Corham's projected 40% carry share and the Rams' tendency to prioritize passing.

Insight page
NegativeValue19:16

Kyren Williams is currently being drafted around the 40th overall pick, serving as a benchmark for other running backs in good offenses who are considered 'off-brand' versions of him.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

NegativeProjection46:17

Ladd McConkey is being drafted significantly higher than Quentin Johnston, but he has never produced more touchdowns in a single season than Johnston. There is a bold case to be made that Johnston will outscore McConkey this season given their respective roles in the Chargers' offense.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveInjury60:08

There is ongoing uncertainty regarding Malik Nabers' health and his availability for Week 1, which creates a path for Isaiah Likely to emerge as the primary target in the Giants' passing attack.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveValue30:01

Mike Evans is a high-value target at ADP 62. Despite injury concerns, he is a primary target in a high-powered offense with significant red-zone upside, potentially leading the league in touchdowns if healthy.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeValue35:45

Nico Collins is compared to a 'Reese's pumpkin'—a superior version of AJ Brown—but is now being challenged by Jaden Higgins for target share in the Texans' offense.

Insight page
NegativeProjection41:21

While Nico Collins is a top-10 wide receiver, his fantasy ceiling is capped by the Texans' defensive-minded, run-heavy approach. Other players like Marion Hampton, Kenneth Walker, Chase Brown, and Brock Bowers are preferred in the second round because they offer higher potential to beat their current projections.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

NegativeValue11:44

O'Marion Hampton is a talented running back going 16th overall, but he faces a murky three-man backfield situation in Los Angeles that makes his workload unpredictable; he is considered a high-upside but risky asset.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

PositiveValue44:00

Quentin Johnston is a premier value candidate, currently going as WR41 despite showing consistent improvement. If you remove three games where he was hampered by a hamstring injury last year, he performed as the WR19. With Mike McDaniel's offensive scheme and Justin Herbert at quarterback, Johnston is expected to be the team's WR2 and could potentially lead the Chargers in touchdowns.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

PositiveValue4:55

Rasheed Rice is a high-end fantasy asset, functioning as the Chiefs' primary target and a key red-zone weapon; despite a 30-day jail stint and knee rehab, he remains a high-volume producer who finished as the WR5 in points per game last year.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveValue19:05

Ramondre Stevenson is a strong value pick at his 75th overall ADP; he is projected to command 60% of the backfield, with significant league-winning upside if Travion Henderson misses time.

Insight page
PositiveValue19:22

Rhamondre Stevenson is a value pick at ADP 75, projected for 60% of the backfield work. He has league-winning upside if Travion Henderson misses time, making him a safe, high-upside play in a good offense.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

NegativeProjection6:15

Romeo Dobbs is characterized as a player who is more valuable in real-life football than in fantasy football formats.

Insight page

Tank Dell

NegativeUsage40:00

Tank Dell is coming off one of the worst leg injuries in years, and it would be irresponsible for the team to give him a massive workload immediately. He is expected to play a limited role, similar to the caution applied to Jonathan Brooks, making him a risky fantasy asset despite his talent.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeUsage53:23

Zay Flowers is ranked as a top-35 receiver because he dominated the Ravens' wide receiver target share last year, accounting for 62% of all wide receiver yards—the third-highest mark in a decade. His fantasy outlook depends on touchdown variance and Lamar Jackson's health.

0:59Welcome to the Ringer Fantasy Football Show. My name is Danny Heifetz.
1:02I'm joined by Danny Kelly, Craig Horlbeck. And today we are going over the biggest values in fantasy drafts in 2026.
1:08And honestly, we're going to do name brand off brand because I feel like some players are like the premium brand.
1:15And then some players are the name brand. And honestly, sometimes, Craig, it's like just as good.
1:19Yeah, for whatever reason, you know, sometimes the cheaper option is just as good as the regular option.
1:25And for those savvy shoppers out there, they know it.
1:28And that's what we're here to tell you today.
1:30We love a deal. Yeah. DK loves a deal.
1:33There's nothing better than getting a deal, man. DK's a dad.
1:36Dads love deals. It feels so good. Dads love deals.
1:39It's part of our DNA. Everyone loves deals. All right.
1:42We're going to get into the biggest deals, the biggest values in drafts this year.
1:46But first, we're going to take a quick break.
1:49This episode is presented by Verizon. Let me tell you all about Verizon's new simplicity plan.
1:53You get one plan, one price, just $30 a line per month, even for a single line.
1:58So while everyone is running four trade analyzers before offering a backup tight end, Verizon said one plan, one price.
2:04Sometimes the simplest move is the best one, like the simplicity plan.
2:08Head to Verizon.com today. For new customers, $30 per line includes auto pay and switch discount.
2:12Additional taxes, fees, and terms apply. Unlimited data is restricted to on-device smartphone usage.
2:16Domestic data roaming at 2G speed. Okay. We're getting into the biggest values in drafts this year.
2:21DK, right off the bat, who's the biggest value?
2:24All right. Number one. Whole world. And we're going to do name brand, off brand, so you need to apply a brand
2:30and a name brand and an off brand to the two players you're going to bring up.
2:35Well, it doesn't count. We're kicking this thing off.
2:38I'm about to do some acrobatics, some mental acrobatics, guys.
2:41Cirque du Soleil, your favorite athletes in the world.
2:43Stick with me. Contort yourself. This is like going to the circus.
2:47You're going to be – I'm actually – I'm going to wow you with this comparison.
2:51All right. The name brand. I feel kind of stupid doing this.
2:55But anyway, name brand here is Rasheed Rice of the Chiefs.
2:58And the off brand is Wandel Robinson of the Titans.
3:01Rasheed Rice is like – Wow. That's an Owen Wilson wow.
3:04He's like putting – You're coming up to get hot.
3:07Let's just say Rasheed Rice is high grade, like 91 octane.
3:10Wow. Really good unleaded gas in your sports car.
3:13Interesting choice. Making a car Rasheed Rice analogy. Interesting.
3:15I did that on purpose. Okay. And Wandel Robinson is like running your Volvo diesel on vegetable oil.
3:21All right? It's good for the environment. It's good for your soul.
3:24Does it work? I don't know. Seed oil is decaying.
3:27I think it kind of works. I had a friend in college put diesel in someone's gas tank without knowing it didn't work.
3:34I don't know if you're going to go – I don't know what diesel is, to be honest with you.
3:40I know it doesn't work in a Honda Civic.
3:42We learned that the hard way. It's a type of gas.
3:45Somebody put a gun to my head and said, tell me what diesel is.
3:49I'd be like, I don't know. It's different. Talk to your house, little brother.
3:53Anyway, Wandel Robinson, you're not going to go 0-60 in whatever the fast time for 0-60 is.
3:58I don't know what that is. But basically, both are very – actually similar style players as – and look, no offense, Rasheed Rice, low ADOT PPR scams.
4:07Let's just call him what he is. I was looking at the EPA per target for both Wandel Robinson and Rasheed Rice.
4:13It's kind of crazy. Last year, Rasheed Rice was 131st in EPA per target, and Robinson was 138th in EPA per target.
4:19So these are basically just useless, empty calorie touches.
4:22The big difference between the two of them – and I could go through all the stats – the biggest difference is Rasheed Rice scores more touchdowns.
4:30That's about it. Last year, I mean, he gets a little bit more volume, but the targets per game are pretty similar.
4:369.8 to 8.8 in favor of Rasheed Rice. 6.6 catches to 5.8 catches.
4:4071 yards to 63 yards. They're pretty similar. They both are about 10.5 yards per touch.
4:45Wandel Robinson actually was getting targeted much further down the field, shockingly.
4:48He was a running back in college, by the way.
4:51And so basically, yeah, again, the big difference here is Rasheed Rice is a huge part of the red zone package for the Chiefs.
4:58But as we've seen year over year, touchdowns are pretty damn volatile.
5:01And if the Chiefs like trying to give the ball to Kenneth Walker a little bit more this year in the red
5:08zone or whatever, what have you, I think there's a chance that Wandel Robinson could turn out to be a very good value here.
5:15Again, he's just going to get over – he's going to get like 120 targets.
5:19I'm becoming a Wandel Robinson guy somehow, particularly in half PBR, PBR.
5:22I probably want to ignore him in standard leagues.
5:25But yeah, man, I'm putting vegetable oil in my car and I'm going to get – I'm going to be good to the earth on this one.
5:33Is this a thing, vegetable oil in your car?
5:36I don't know. I've not done it. I think people do it.
5:39Really? It's like a natural – you can make natural oil somehow, synthetic oil.
5:43What's going on in the Pacific Northwest? Yeah, seriously.
5:46You're running cars on vegetable oil? What are we talking about?
5:49Buddy, we've got to be ready for the apocalypse at any moment here.
5:53I did see – well, we don't have to get into that.
5:56I was going to talk about something I saw about a guy running his car in Cuba with beer.
6:02But that's neither here nor there. I know, right?
6:04It's a ways to beer. Just walk and drink it.
6:07But I will say – Get a bike. I feel like we've talked a lot about guys that are better in real life than in fantasy.
6:15Like Romeo Dobbs in the Patriots is like better in real life than fantasy.
6:19Alec Pierce, when he's healthy, which he's not, is probably better in real life than fantasy.
6:23This is great because you're saying the truth, which is Rasheed Rice and Wandel Robinson are way better in fantasy than real life.
6:30Yep. Like there actually is like a similarity there to like – yeah, it turns out when every catch is worth a
6:36point, then yeah, those guys are pretty goddamn valuable.
6:39140 targets a year. I think what this touches on, one, I mean the price difference between these two is probably the
6:45biggest of any comparison we'll make this entire episode.
6:48I took a big swing on this one. She rises as a second rounder and Wandel Robinson's like an 11th or 12th rounder.
6:55Wide receiver, 46 in ADP right now. It also taps into, I think, Wandel Robinson.
6:59You know, we mentioned the Titans on Wednesday with our five breakout offenses that nobody sees coming episode.
7:04Wandel Robinson is not going to be somebody that the people in your draft are clamoring for.
7:09Also, he's on the Titans now. I don't know if we actually mentioned that.
7:13Sure, sure, sure. He went with Brian Dable to Tennessee and they gave Wandel Robinson like $17 million a year.
7:19Mm-hmm. Yeah, the only thing here, DK, is Rasheed Rice is the number one option on the Chiefs when he's on the field.
7:26And when they're in the red zone, like, they tailor plays to him.
7:30They're giving him weird end-arounds and rushes and little shuffle passes and screens and slants and things like that.
7:35Wandel Robinson needs to score touchdowns for this to pay off.
7:38Yes. And you think there's a shot that that happens this year?
7:42I think there's a shot. I mean, I looked at – so Rasheed Rice gets more red zone touches on average than Wandel Robinson.
7:49That's been the case at least last year. But I looked at the end zone targets per game.
7:54They're actually identical in terms of end zone targets per game.
7:57So that means the ball is going into the end zone.
8:00I feel like Rasheed Rice gets the ball on the yard line a lot.
8:04Yeah, he's getting, like, handoffs. But I think that is a part of Wandel Robinson's game.
8:09He's not as explosive as Rasheed Rice. I see Craig identified that.
8:12That blew my mind. But Craig's right. It's because you're saying that stat doesn't count the one-yard catch at the one-yard line.
8:19Exactly. Rasheed Rice is, like, catching balls on the two to then score, which doesn't count as an end zone target.
8:25They used to do that little shuffle pass to Kelsey basically up the B gap.
8:29And then now Rasheed Rice just gets that play.
8:32Rasheed Rice is kind of the new Travis Kelsey for the Chiefs.
8:35Do you think that – do you think based on his health and his offseason, though, that he's going to continue to be that guy for them?
8:43And he will be the number one receiver in this offense.
8:46I think he'll be the highest targeted receiver in the offense.
8:50It's such a – I mean, he literally spent 30 days in jail this summer.
8:54And it was coming off. While rehabbing his knee.
8:57While rehabbing his knee. He had his knee in jail.
8:59I would love to know what they told him to do in jail to rehab his knee.
9:04I'm fascinated by that. It's like the Russell Wilson walking up and down the aisle.
9:09Yeah, I'm like, what was he doing? He's just doing quad stretches in jail?
9:13I don't know. I keep thinking about the greatest golf performance of this century, which was not Tiger Woods, but Scotty Scheffler
9:19coming in like top 10 at the PGA Championship when they arrested him that morning.
9:24And Scotty Scheffler always talks about like warming up in jail that morning and how weird that was.
9:29I just do wonder about Rasheed Rice rehabbing his knee in a cell.
9:32And I'm like, yeah, I don't know what he was up to.
9:36But it is – if you look back and you're like, yeah, I took him over Josh Allen and he rehabbed his
9:42knee in jail, you might feel pretty stupid. In my defense of Rasheed Rice on the field only, I don't know why,
9:49but I've had him every year of his career on my fantasy team.
9:53It's just the way it's happened. Every time this dude plays, he is awesome.
9:57Like he produces – Rasheed Rice was the wide receiver – Rasheed Rice was coming off a torn ACL last year, came
10:03halfway through the season, and was just immediately the wide receiver five.
10:06He finished the season in points per game, the wide receiver five, over 15 points per game.
10:11And so while he did get a cleanup surgery and the rehab in prison for – in jail for 30 days is
10:18not great, part of me is like Rasheed Rice probably still just going to be awesome.
10:22That doesn't mean Wondell won't. But I'm kind of like Rasheed Rice probably still going to be really good for Chiefs.
10:28I think the GK's point though, this is not unlike some of these other ones.
10:33It's not an either or. Like Rasheed Rice is like our top 25 player.
10:37It's not talking down the name brand. It's more hyping up the off brand.
10:41Right, right, right. Yeah, exactly. Like Wondell Robinson is going eight rounds later.
10:45You can get both and also you might not get Rasheed Rice and if you're like, wow, I wish I had Rasheed Rice.
10:51Go get yourself a Wondell Robinson, some vegetable oil, which I looked up, DK.
10:55I'm not going to lie. Kind of thought you were nuts.
10:59And I'm reading here that you can run a car in vegetable oil but only if it has a diesel engine and
11:05it's modified for it but it's possible. And it seems like the problem is vegetable oil is closer to $10 a gallon,
11:11which didn't track for me when I first thought of it.
11:15Yeah, but it's better for the environment theoretically, I guess.
11:17Don't put vegetable oil in your car, okay? Okay, that's a good place to end up.
11:22Unless you know how well you're doing. That's smart.
11:25All right, next one here. So again, Wondell Robinson is like our 110th.
11:28He's like a 10th round pick. We're saying, I think we're all talking ourselves into him.
11:33I mean, he might have the most volume of anybody outside the top 100.
11:37Yeah. Craig, who's your first name brand off brand?
11:40I'm going to go name brand. Name brand O'Marion Hampton, the running back for the Chargers.
11:44I'm going to compare it to all. This is a really strained metaphor.
11:48It barely works. To almond milk. And because it's not really name brand off brand, but it kind of is for milk.
11:55But in the off brand, I'm going to go with Kyron Williams, who I think is cow's milk.
12:00And I'll sprinkle in DeAndre Swift as well. But basically, O'Marion Hampton is going 16th overall.
12:04Kyron Williams is going 30th. So kind of twice as far and deep into the draft.
12:09And DeAndre Swift is going 56 overall. So we'll kind of double what Kyron Williams is.
12:14My point is that these are guys in elite offenses with workload concerns.
12:18And recently, Mike McDaniel just talked about the workload split for his running backs in L.A.
12:22and basically was like, sorry, fantasy guys. I'm riding the hot hand.
12:26Hampton's good. Vidal's good. Mitchell's good. I see all three of these guys producing at a very high level.
12:31I have no idea which game it's going to be.
12:34It's all dependent on what I want out of them and what the opponent asks us to do.
12:39And so I think Hampton probably has the most, I don't know, I guess upside because he's probably the most talented of these guys.
12:46But Kyron Williams. He was a first-round pick at running back.
12:49Sure. Kyron Williams. And the reason why it's like almond milk is like, remember when almond milk was like the thing, you know?
12:56And it was like cow's milk's dead. It's over.
12:59Move over cows. It's almonds. It's cashews. So we got someone in Los Angeles.
13:03We got a Seattle person talking about vegetable in cars and you're in Los Angeles talking about when cow's milk was over.
13:09Yeah, absolutely. Just to start. We're on brand, all right?
13:12And now Kyron Williams, I think, is regular milk, which is like, it's tried and true.
13:17It's never going to go away. And I once again think we are doing it again with Kyron Williams or nobody gives
13:23a shit about him, despite the fact that every year he produces.
13:27And I know the Blake Corham thing, Kyron Williams is 25 years old.
13:30He had 1,400 yards last year and 15 touchdowns or in 13 touchdowns.
13:34He's averaging 15 touchdowns per season over his last three years.
13:37And he's never finished lower than RB11 on a season.
13:40I was going to say, Craig, he to me is still just one of the guys you can count on as printing money.
13:47I'm just like, okay. Even with Corham coming on.
13:49I agree. I'm like, okay, Corham's going to take 35% of whatever.
13:53I'm like, he did that for the second half of last year.
13:56Kyron Williams is still productive. It's maybe the best offense in football.
14:00He got 300 touches last year, Kyron Williams. And I'm like, if it ain't broken, the Rams are like the best team in the NFL, maybe.
14:07Top three. And if it ain't broken, I don't know why McVay is just going to stop playing Kyron Williams.
14:13We talk about how touchdowns are volatile year in and year out.
14:17If you look at what happened last year, I think I saw this.
14:20Matt Stafford set an NFL record with 15 one-yard touchdown passes.
14:2415 one-yard touchdown passes. Cam Ward's over-under on the season for all touchdown passes is like 17.
14:29Unless I'm getting punked on Twitter, I saw that stat.
14:31But it feels right because that was like, he basically, every time they got inside the five-yard line, they're just chucking it up to Devontae Adams.
14:39If they don't do that, say just marginally less, five or six more touchdowns available to the running backs, seven or eight
14:45more touchdowns available to the running backs, like Kyron could outplay what he did last year.
14:50And he had 13 touchdowns last year and 300 touches.
14:53And I'm like, it's like, maybe he can't be the number one running back in fantasy, and O'Mearian Hampton could.
14:59Sure. Sometimes you can make a cake with almond milk, and it's better than Cal's milk.
15:03But most of the time it's not. A cake?
15:06Whatever. Whatever ingredient where it's like, you can replace regular milk with almond milk.
15:10It's like, you can, but it's oftentimes not as good.
15:13It's just not the same. It's not the same.
15:16Can I tweak this to someone who's lactose intolerant, and this is my day-to-day life?
15:20Yeah, sure. I think that Cal's milk is B.
15:23John Robinson and Jameer Gibbs. It's what I want, but can no longer have.
15:27Okay. Because I don't have one of the first two picks.
15:30Okay, sure. And I really wish that was the case.
15:33It's like, I just can't eat this. And I think the Cal's milk that they sell that has the lactose stuff mixed
15:39in is maybe the other first-round running backs, but that's not available when I go to a coffee shop.
15:45But I think American Hampton is almond milk in that, like, he's, for all the reasons you said, it's expensive, but bad for the environment.
15:52And when you learn a little more about it, you're like, this is fucked up.
15:56American Hampton, you're like, this is- A lot of water.
15:59A lot of water in the almonds. I didn't know it was all that water in the almonds.
16:04I didn't know it was going to be a three-man backfield when I took American Hampton.
16:09And they make most of America's almonds in California, where American Hampton lives.
16:13It's a three-gallon backfield. That's the problem. Yes. And I- Oh, no, that's pistachios.
16:17There's a crate. No, one day, if anyone remembers, I'll tell you something I learned about pistachios in farming in California.
16:23It doesn't matter. But yeah, American Hampton. Accelerating. A lot of water.
16:26Yeah. It's more interesting than you think. Scintillating. But Kyron Williams, to me, is oat milk.
16:31Because it's like the other option, and it's like the same, right?
16:34Almond milk, oat milk. Oat doesn't take as much water.
16:37But the oat milk sucks, and it's awful, and it's not as fun.
16:41And when I get it, I'm like, well, I'll get the oat milk.
16:45I'll get the Kyron Williams. And I do- I'm serious about it, because it's about the floor.
16:50But the ceiling isn't there. And I think that's the argument.
16:53It's like, it's about whether you want ceiling or floor.
16:56Kyron Williams is like ranked where he is, as you know, a top 40 running- top 40 player.
17:01Because you're like, well, I don't have a running back yet.
17:04And I'm like, ah, I got to take Kyron Williams.
17:07And he's safe, because he's the starting running-up at the Rams.
17:10The knock against Kyron Williams for this year, I think, is that he doesn't have, like, necessarily huge upside to vastly outperform
17:17the slot you're going to take Kyron Williams. Because Blake Corham's going to get 40% of the carries.
17:22Matt Stafford's going to- Devontae Adams is basically the goddamn goal lineback.
17:26And the problem with Matt Stafford for a running back is Matt Stafford's just too busy ripping passes.
17:31Right, DK? Just loves ripping it. Stafford's ripping it.
17:33He doesn't even look. He doesn't even look downfield.
17:36He just rips it. He's a magician. He's closing his eyes.
17:39He's doing tricks on it. Matt Stafford would literally rather throw a pass without looking than check the ball down.
17:45Yeah. Yeah. And so there's no checkdowns, no receiving.
17:48Yeah. He's not fucking checking it. And so that's the issue with Kyron.
17:51You want to talk about no receiving. I mean, Kyron Williams at least catches 30 balls a year.
17:57Blake Corham has caught- Let's do a game. Blake Corham caught eight passes last year.
18:01Yeah, but it's not a big pie that you're working with.
18:04It's like one of those personal pies. You can't split it.
18:07And so my point being, the Kyron Williams being a league winner depends on Blake Corham getting hurt and Kyron Williams getting the whole backfield.
18:15That's the only way that Kyron Williams can go back to a couple years ago.
18:19Fair, fair, fair. Fair, fair. My point is that you can get him twice as late as you can on Marion Hampton.
18:25So you can take a different guy at the 15th overall pick that could be your league winner and then still take
18:32Kyron Williams two rounds later, who will get you the same stats on Marion Hampton probably will.
18:37That is fair. But this leads me right to my next value.
18:40My favorite value. Heifetz was doing that whole thing to set up his thing.
18:44That's fair. I like it. Playing both sides. So I just come out on top.
18:48But my arbitrage is Kyron Williams. Again, Kyron Williams is oat milk.
18:52And you're like, oh, I'll get the milk. But if your upside case is, well, I need the other running back to
18:58get hurt and then it'll be a league winner.
19:01Ramondre Stevenson's black coffee. Just be a man. Just stop getting oat milk.
19:05I'm going to drink this espresso straight and I'm going to sip it like an old Italian man enjoying his day, which
19:11is what I try to do now, which is I have to do the oat milk.
19:16And I know that sounds like a stupid analogy, but what I'm saying is Kyron Williams is like the 40th player.
19:22I know I keep talking about Ramondre Stevenson. He's going 75th.
19:25And I think that Ramondre Stevenson is a similar player where he's going to get 60% of the backfield.
19:31Travion Henderson's going to get 40%. But if Travion Henderson gets hurt, Ramondre Stevenson probably, to me, becomes like a potential league winning player.
19:37You could make the same argument about DeAndre Swift for the Bears where something happens to Kyle Mononga.
19:43They're just cheaper than Kyron Williams. And I think that they all have the same mixture where they're a little cap.
19:49They need the other guy to get hurt and they'll be league winner, but they'll probably be safe and deliver.
19:55But they're in good office. I don't disagree with anything you're saying about Kyron Williams, Craig.
19:59I think it's a Myers – I think fantasy still needs Myers-Briggs.
20:03Well, if you combine the two things we're saying, I don't know who is what milk now.
20:08But it's basically like you can go from a Marion Hampton, who I think – then you can go to Kyron Williams,
20:14who's like an off-brand of a Marion Hampton. And then you can go down to DeAndre Swift, who's an off-brand of Kyron Williams.
20:21And then you can go down to Ramondre Stevenson, who's an off-brand of DeAndre Swift.
20:25It's like a four-tiered list here of guys where it's like good offenses, kind of splitting the workload, and they're being overlooked.
20:31By the way, I just looked up what's the weirdest type of milk.
20:35Platypus milk is apparently the weirdest type of milk.
20:38Is Ramondre Steven platypus milk? No, Ramondre Steven – I'll tell you.
20:41DeAndre Swift's an Americano, which is watered-down black coffee.
20:44He's coffee. And then Ramondre is just straight espresso.
20:46I like Heifetz just bulldozing through. No, no. He's not platypus milk.
20:50He's an Americano. Craig, by the way, platypus – As if that was a normal sentence.
20:55That's a good point. Platypus, platypi. They do – what's the plural of that?
20:59Platypuses. What do you want it to be? What do you want it to be?
21:03Do you know – I like good mother – Platypuses don't have teats.
21:07Milk oozes out through specialized skin patches. Platypuses are the weirdest animals on earth.
21:11Well, can I add – What is a teat if not a specialized skin patch?
21:15Fair enough. Fair enough. Yeah. Who – You got to get your eyes on those warlocks.
21:20Who's drinking platypus milk? I don't think anyone's drinking that guy.
21:23Are you saying they can be milked? Like, I have nipples, Greg.
21:27Can you milk me? Or are you saying people drink it?
21:30Platypus milk. Oh, they do produce it without nipples, so it just – Well, it's in there.
21:35It's on their abdomen. It pools in grooves and fur for their young called puggles.
21:39That's kind of cute. Puggles? Do you know that platypus – I almost did the multiple thing.
21:44Platypus, whatever we're calling the plural. They also are iridescent.
21:47Look up there under like blue light. They're iridescent.
21:49What the hell is going on with this animal?
21:52Look up the platypus blue light. Dude, I mean they basically sweat milk.
21:56It's like a Gatorade commercial, but it's milk. Remember Got Milk?
21:59Yeah. By the way, I think it is platypuses.
22:02Yeah, well – Yeah, it was all we had.
22:04I never left. I never waited. Speaking of which, I want emails from some of our older listeners.
22:09I want to know when milkmen went away. I feel like our parents had milkmen, and I want to know when that stopped.
22:16It's like blockbusters, but no one came and talked about it.
22:19I don't want to disparage those who are lactose intolerant.
22:22I totally get it. Dietary restrictions. I have my own.
22:25I got a weird esophagus thing, so I totally get it.
22:28But I do think – Milk is tried and true.
22:31You know what I mean? Milk, when you're using milk, it's going to taste the best.
22:36I do have that feeling too, Craig. I'm like when I eat something with oat milk, the color is just really –
22:42Like ice cream with oat milk, it's just not as good.
22:45It's like eating porridge or something. It feels like you're eating the food from the ship in the Matrix or something.
22:51It's just like really gray color. I don't like it.
22:54I know. Okay. Uncanny Valley for milk. Craig, who's your next value player for 2026?
22:59All right. I'm going to go for it on this one.
23:02Jackson Smith and Jigba is going to be my name brand, and I'm going to compare him to Los Angeles.
23:08Okay. My off brand is going to be Emeka Ibuka, who I think is San Diego.
23:12Oh, hell yeah. And it's like – it's kind of the same thing, but like maybe you don't have to spend as
23:19much, and there's less people on the beach, and it's the same weather.
23:23And that's kind of my situation where it's like, yeah, Jackson Smith and Jigba, the best.
23:27You're going to have to pick them fifth overall in your draft.
23:31It's going to be a pretty penny. You'll still enjoy it, and it'll be great.
23:35But Emeka Ibuka is going 40th overall, 35 spots past JSN.
23:38And if you kind of look at the two of them – look, obviously, this is about when you can get them.
23:45JSN's still probably going to have a better season than Ibuka.
23:48But you could argue that the situation around Ibuka is just straight up better than JSN's.
23:52I mean, JSN lost their elite play caller. Clint Kubiak's gone.
23:56And they lost an elite running back. A lot of the Seahawks game was around their running game, building to the passing game and helping the passing game.
24:04And so the offense could regress. Like there are legit question marks, I would say, about the Seahawks' offense.
24:09And with Ibuka, you could argue they have a better play caller.
24:13They have a better offensive line. You could argue they have a better quarterback.
24:17And maybe they'll have similar volume. If you look at what Ibuka did last year before he got hurt in week six,
24:23weeks one through five, he was the wide receiver three in points per game, putting up 18 points per game, more than Jackson Smith and Jigba.
24:31And those games, Mike Evans played three of those five games when Ibuka was going nuts.
24:35And now they have a new offensive play caller, Zach Robinson, who came from Atlanta.
24:40And before that, he was in L.A. He was the offensive passing game coordinator when they had Cooper Cup.
24:45And he basically said that Ibuka is going to play the Z role, which is what Cooper Cup played when he was going off on the ramps.
24:53And they're going to run more two wide receiver sets in Tampa.
24:56And everything we've learned from a fantasy data standpoint is that two wide receiver sets is really what you want to focus on.
25:03It's kind of like a skeleton key to unlocking more fantasy points is when there's only two wide receivers in the field.
25:10The odds that the ball is going to your guy is just much higher.
25:14And they're just going to be a heavier target share to Ibuka.
25:17And so Mike Evans obviously is gone now. So this seems kind of obvious to me.
25:22He's probably like my single favorite wide receiver to take in the draft.
25:25And I think there's like a, it's very possible that next year Ibuka is like taking 12th overall, like he's CD lamb.
25:32You get him an extra discount now. Cause he got hurt.
25:35He hurt his toe yesterday. And everyone I mentioned gets hurt.
25:38So I got to tell you, we got to know which toe I hate at this point.
25:43Now they need to tell me turf toe. Cause that doesn't sound good.
25:47If it's turf toe, I'm out. I'm we'll just cut this whole segment because turf toes, the worst turf toe, which I'm glad we're doing the rebranding.
25:55We're going to rebrand turf toe. So we're going to call it foot sprain, minor toe injuries, what they're calling it.
26:01Toe tear. I think a minor toe injury probably means it's not turf toe.
26:05I think you're dead. Right. DK, I'm curious what you think.
26:08I think this is on the money. I am still a huge believer that like the Mecca book was four weeks in.
26:14Everyone's like, Oh my God, that was the single most important pick you could make in fantasy along with Tyler Warren.
26:21Warren kind of tailed off a little. And then obviously Dana Jones got hurt.
26:25A book could just, I still think he played through a quad injury and he didn't want to sit through it because
26:31so many other people on the offense were hurt.
26:34And there was a feeling that they needed, you know, it was all hands on deck.
26:38And I think a book didn't want to just be sitting.
26:41Cause obviously Baker was incredibly hurt as well. Baker was hurt.
26:45Both the tackles were hurt. The bucks, they were just dropping like flies and he played through it.
26:50And like, again, I always talk about Mark Cooper, but sometimes you play through injury and people get mad at you because
26:56you're not playing well, but it's like, well, you're trying to be on the field.
27:01So I think this is a great call. There's yeah, there's some similarities with them and in terms of their college careers
27:07too, in the sense that they were more used in the slot in college and complimentary pieces in their college offenses.
27:13Ohio state. Yeah. At Ohio state. a book is that has the most receiving yards in the history of Ohio state.
27:19Right. And right. And that's, and think about like the guys he played with.
27:23Obviously he played longer there, which is like, it was a big deal, but, um, yeah, I do think he is, he's just a pro receiver.
27:31He was right. Pro ready. When he came into the league, like good route running, really strong hands run after the catch,
27:37strong at the catch point, just like a big, strong dude who can like play all three positions.
27:42I think he got missed cast a little bit last year.
27:46He played, I think like 70% on the outside last year.
27:49Um, so I love the idea of moving him a book.
27:52Yeah. I like the idea of them moving him around, getting him off the line a little bit.
27:57Um, because I don't think necessarily his skillset is super elite.
28:00Beat press and win one-on-one type situations. Um, but he can be a really high volume pass catcher, uh, when he's given
28:07an opportunity to move around and go in motion and be off the line and play in the slot a little bit more.
28:13Um, if they make him the focal point of his office, I mean, we saw with Zach Robinson, uh, this is a,
28:20maybe a stretch, but like Drake London had a massive, uh, target rate as the kind of the, the full point in that offense.
28:27I have that here as well. Drake London last year under Zach Robinson, again, who is now the play caller for Tampa,
28:33who was in Atlanta last year through, through 11 weeks last year, before Drake London got hurt, he was the third best wide receiver in fantasy.
28:41Yeah. So I like this a lot. If he's healthy, obviously that's the big question right now, but he is also one of my main targets.
28:48I think this year in drafts, just because I believe in the talent.
28:52I think if they get both their tackles back, they stay healthy.
28:55They can start pushing the ball down the field a little bit more.
28:59Baker can get back to ripping the passes that he wants to be ripping.
29:03And it's all, it just all works together. You know what I mean?
29:07Like their offense was just broken last year. One final note to I'll leave you guys on about a Buka is this
29:13came from Ryan Heath at fantasy points. The list of wide receivers who had the most PPR fantasy points over a wide
29:20receiver's first five games since the 1990s. This is first five games of your career.
29:24How many fantasy points did you score since the nineties?
29:27Puka Nuku is number one. Randy Moss is number two.
29:30A Buka is number three. Yeah, that's pretty good.
29:33I like that. I like that. So would you take them in the third round?
29:37I think I would take them in the third.
29:40San Diego, baby. San Diego is lovely. Check it out.
29:42If you haven't been best place in America. DK, who's your next value player for 2026?
29:47All right. Heifetz. I know that you're a big AJ Brown guy.
29:51I'm going to do AJ Brown as my name brand player.
29:54Obviously he's very famous. Very big name. My off-brand player, not less famous necessarily, but Mike Evans for the 49ers quite a bit cheaper.
30:01So Mike, AJ Brown right now is wide receiver eight.
30:04According to ADP 23rd. Overall, Mike Evans is the wide receiver.
30:0727, 62nd overall. Basically both are possibly over the hill receivers with terrible hammies and maybe bad backs, but playing in very good offenses.
30:14Do you guys, this might be, this might completely go over your head.
30:18Cause you might not be old enough, but do you remember the sunny delight commercials back in the day where it was
30:24like the kids would open the fridge and be like, wait, what do we got here?
30:29Sunny D? I didn't know it stood for anything.
30:31We got, we got OJ, some purple stuff. Oh, sunny D.
30:34And then they'd get the sunny D and chug it.
30:37Well, you know what? Mike Evans is OJ and purple stuff.
30:40He's, it's going to keep you hydrated. It still tastes good.
30:44It's still, you know what I mean? Stop being a snob.
30:47You don't need sunny D. You don't need the, the name brand shit.
30:51Just drink some OJ. Okay. First of all, did you know sunny D stood for anything?
30:55I've no, I think I didn't. I didn't know a sunny delight, which is kind of a nice name.
31:01Saying sunny delight is like saying Chevrolet instead of Chevy.
31:04That's better though. They should bring it back. Like Miller brought back those old cans.
31:08It was way better with the white cans. Give me a Budweiser, please.
31:12A Budweiser light. Yeah. Sunny delight. Isn't that what it is?
31:15I don't know. Do you guys remember Tang? Did you ever have Tang?
31:19Never had Tang. Astronaut liquid from the eighties. Tang is just a powder that you put water in.
31:24Oh wow. Sunny delight is actually now officially branded sunny D.
31:27Okay. Are they still making it? Showing, showing your ears.
31:30I think so. Is it just super sugary orange juice?
31:33Basically. Oh, it's actually not considered orange juice. It is.
31:36Orange flavored citrus punch. Clearly a legal issue there.
31:38The most American thing of all time. It's like Kraft singles.
31:42It's like, orange cheese, like squares. Don't say it's cheese.
31:45It's not cheese. It's not cheese, Craig. It's like dove soap.
31:48I need to stress that it's not cheese. You can't say it's cheese.
31:51You know those dove bars? Yeah, not soap. Go.
31:54If anyone here listening has a dove bar, go look at one of those packages.
31:58See if you can find the word soap. It's like a bar.
32:02It's a beauty cleaning bar. Yeah. No soap. All right.
32:05Let me, let me throw you real quick. Get back to this Mike Evans versus AJ Brown thing.
32:10Obviously health is paramount here. I don't, I can't predict what's going to happen with the 49ers, even though the substation thing may or not be real.
32:18May or may not. Somebody pointed out very smartly that maybe the reason why the Niners are leaving early to get to
32:24Australia is to get the fuck out of the substation.
32:27They're regulating their electromagnetic. I know we've talked about a lot.
32:30I would like to go to the record. Everyone's like, are the electromagnetic rays hurting the football players?
32:36It's probably the football. Right. Hurting all the football.
32:38Probably the super violent sport they're playing. Anyway, going back three years, because obviously Mike Evans had a down year last year.
32:45He was hurt. He broke his collarbone. I think he had a really bad hamstring injury.
32:49So it was just kind of all over the place.
32:52But if you go back three seasons, PPR, sorry, half PPR points per game, almost identical.
32:57AJ Brown and Mike Evans targets per game. Brown has a slight edge reception per game.
33:01Brown has a slight edge touchdowns. Mike Evans, 27, AJ Brown, 21 yards per touch.
33:06Almost exactly the same. 14 yards per touch. Red zone targets, almost exactly the same.
33:10And end zone targets. Mike Evans is 45 to Brown's 31.
33:13So he hasn't beat there, but I mean, Brown's more of kind of run after the catch guy anyway.
33:19So that's fine. Um, but I do think there's stylistically, they're both going to be beat their guy, get over the top.
33:25Number one target in the offense, high volume, very probably.
33:28Um, and I think they're both very good players and I'm just worried about both from a health point of view.
33:34So I might take the cheaper guy here. Evans is wide receiver 27.
33:38You can get him in the 62nd overall pick.
33:41So I don't know. I, I do still like AJ Brown.
33:44I'm still confident that he's going to have a good year, but like it is a risky pick early that, that early
33:50when you're taking him in the second or early third round.
33:53I mean, look, Mike Evans, there's like a very realistic shot.
33:56He leads the league in touchdowns. Yeah. And that he's Devontae Adams, but on the Niners this year and Ricky Pierce, sells out for the year.
34:04George Kittle recovering from a, an Achilles tear looks great though.
34:07And then you have a rookie into John Stribling.
34:10So if Mike Evans is on the field, I, in the Niners are in the red zone.
34:15He will, he will be scoring. Like, I feel very confident he will get double digit touchdowns if he's on the field.
34:21I mean, the entire, everything with Mike Evans is just, will he play?
34:25But if he plays, I don't, I don't think people have a ton of arguments for him, not having an incredible role on this team.
34:32And I know I said he was 34 the other day, kind of being derogatory, but he is 32 and he's, I
34:39don't know what his biological age is. I know, but I know I, again, Mike Evans and Kyle Shannon, like that is probably going to work.
34:46I mean, we'll see what happens to Kyle Shannon this year.
34:49That's my only concern. He's coaching this weekend. I think Shannon's going to be fine.
34:54I think it's the most important preseason coaching performance of all time.
34:57Like it's unbelievable. We'll see what happens with Shannon.
35:00Obviously I feel like that at this point is the biggest variable with the whole team.
35:04It's just how I see. And again, I don't mean to like belittle, I just taking the cracks that it seriously, like
35:11his symptoms he described are really serious. And again, you have to make a play call.
35:15You have five seconds in the play clock to decide the play.
35:19It's a lot. Okay. DK. I like that one.
35:21And I don't take it too personally as AJ Brown.
35:24I know I'm the big AJ Brown person this year, but I acknowledge that, you know, his knees aren't ceremonial grade as Craig would say.
35:32My, my thing, I had one that was kind of alluding to AJ Brown, not really about AJ Brown, but I, okay.
35:38I think a couple of years ago, I felt the name brand off brand thing.
35:42I felt like AJ Brown was like Reese's cups.
35:45You know what I mean? Like this just pretty well for me.
35:48Perfect. And I feel like a couple of years ago, like 2024 watching Nico Collins, it was like the first time I had a Reese's pumpkin.
35:56And I was like, this is better. What's a Reese's pumpkin?
35:59Is it just a Reese's piece? A Reese's cup shaped like a pumpkin?
36:03The specialty shapes that Reese's does. There's just more peanut, more peanut filling.
36:07Is it, is it different? Is it a different ratio or ingredients or is it just different shape?
36:12Different ratio of chocolate to peanut butter. And I think the shell is thicker, but also there's more peanut butter somehow.
36:18So the Easter eggs and this, the pumpkin double stuff.
36:21It's incredible. It's, yeah. It's like the Oreo before and after the double stuff.
36:25It's like, you can't go back. And the Reese's shapes were so much better, but that's how I felt watching you call
36:31Nico Collins a couple of years ago. I'm like, this is just better AJ Brown.
36:36And it was kind of blew my mind. Now I would say that if Nico Collins is still the Reese's pumpkins or
36:42the Reese's eggs, I think Jaden Higgins on the Texans is now the Trader Joe's peanut butter cups.
36:47Okay. Yeah. Those are good. Yeah. They're amazing. It's like a little different.
36:51They're not, they're slightly healthier. They're closer to a dark chocolate.
36:54Yeah. Peanut butter might be like more natural peanut butter, but they're pretty good.
36:58I I'll eat one if it's in front of me.
37:01I, I know, but when I'm in the supermarket, I can look at the Reese's and I don't buy it anymore.
37:07Cause I just can't do that. But when I'm at Trader Joe's, if I'm walking by this peanut butter cups, I have to like look down.
37:15I walk by and I just like the flesh is weak.
37:18I just, I just want to just grab that box.
37:21I just bought three of them. But my point being, I actually think there is a small chance that within like two
37:27years, Jaden Higgins is just as good, if not better than Nico Collins.
37:31And he is the number two receiver on the Texans.
37:34He is. And I mean this maybe like the single most slept on talent to fame ratio in the entire NFL at any position.
37:41Jaden Higgins has a chance to be like closer to the T Higgins range of who's the best number two receiver in the NFL.
37:48Like how long will T Higgins have that? I think Jaden Higgins will sooner than later be like the best number two receiver in the NFL.
37:55He's currently going outside the top 10 rounds. Jaden Higgins is like the 125th player in fantasy football this year.
38:01You can get Jaden Higgins at round 11, probably round 12.
38:04Nobody even knows who he is. He was the first pick of the second round last year.
38:09He is DK six foot four is NFL speed.
38:12He will. He's NFL size. Most importantly, his NFL athleticism, but really his thing is this skillset, the technique is all there.
38:18And so I think Jaden Higgins has like the ability.
38:21He can get off press. He's not like a big, slow lumbering six foot four guy.
38:26He is able to win at the catch point.
38:29He has all these tools. And I think that the only reason Jaden Higgins is buried is like, oh, tank Dell's back.
38:35Jalen. those guys are going to rotate it in, in the slot.
38:38Jaden Higgins is going to play in two and three receiver sets.
38:42And I think he's the most mispriced receiver. Maybe in all football right now, he should be going like, I think three rounds earlier.
38:49And I don't know. He's flying under the radar.
38:51He's been a superstar at camp. According to the reports that I've seen, like he's been really good.
38:57Dude, not even just according to, according to Nico Collins himself, Nico Collins is basically like this guy could be the next face of the league.
39:04Like the way I, the way he's preparing, like his body, his ability, he's like team, but it's weird.
39:10Cause he's on the team. He's just being nice.
39:12Um, he, he did finish. He tied for the team high and touchdown catches was six last year with Nico Collins.
39:18Pretty good. Five yards and six touchdowns. I mean, obviously in that offense, if they, if they play the way they played
39:25last year, it's going to be hard for Nico or for Jaden Higgins to be like a star in fantasy.
39:31But I think kind of what we were talking about on the last show, if the, if the Texans can even make
39:37it a marginal improvement on the offensive line, give Stroud a little bit more time, they can get back to pushing the
39:43ball down the field a little bit more and making those explosive plays.
39:47I think Higgins has a chance to really kind of go off and be a good value.
39:52Um, yeah. And the two receiver set thing I think is a really important thing here.
39:57He's not going to be rotating. Like we're seeing with Jalen Knoll.
40:00Um, and with tank Dell, if he comes back, I think tank Dell does play outside, but I'm guessing they probably won't put too much on his plate.
40:08Ken, but he's coming back from one of the worst leg injuries in years.
40:12He's not going to just come. It's kind of like Jonathan Brooks in Carolina to me, which is a great story.
40:18And Jonathan Brooks was a great story coming to Texas.
40:21He tore his ACL and then came back and.
40:24Read toward the ACL. And now it's like, Oh, maybe he'll be the lead back for Carolina.
40:29I'm like, I, the guy who's played three games in two years after tearing his ACL in college is probably not going to get like some massive workload.
40:37I feel the same way about tank Dell. Like he's going to play a little, and that's a massive accomplishment to play a little.
40:44I will say Chuba Hubbard did hurt his hamstring today.
40:47And he is week to week. According to the team.
40:50I get that. I just, I think the mistakes some people make are thinking that it's Madden and that, well, you can
40:56just, the guy's healthy and just play him. Like it, I would argue it would be irresponsible for them to just give
41:03him like 80% of touches for Jonathan Brooks coming off.
41:05And I think tank Dell's in the same boat.
41:08Yeah. But I do like this one. Jane Higgins, big rangey tall.
41:12He's good at the catch point. Probably going to score a bunch of touchdowns this year.
41:16If they, again, if their offense kind of takes a little bit of a jump.
41:21So I like this. Hi Vince. Do you think right now we have Nico Collins as the ninth wide receiver on our board.
41:27Do you think that the ascension of Jaden Higgins would hurt Nico Collins?
41:31Or do you find, do you see it as a T Higgins, Jamar chase situation?
41:35I, it's not T Higgins, Jamar chase. Cause the Texans have an amazing defense and the bagels have a terrible one.
41:41So the Texans are probably going to try to play defense, run the ball.
41:45And you know, I, I, I, I, I, I still like, but I, I don't know if I need to move from
41:52that down the receiver rankings, but I want the running backs ahead of him.
41:56My thing with Nico is not that I just look at him.
41:59I like the Texans offense better than like Drake London.
42:02And the other receivers, but the players I prefer over Nico is in the second round.
42:07I would rather have a Marion Hampton on the chargers.
42:10I'd rather have Kenneth Walker on the chiefs. I'd rather have chase Brown on the Bengals.
42:14I'd rather have Brock Bowers on the Raiders because at that point, I'd rather have a tight end.
42:20Cause I think Bowers has a shot to just beat Nico's numbers straight up this season.
42:24That's possible to me. So I think that that's really where I dock Nico is that if he fell to me really
42:31late in the second round, but I'm not like trying to get Nico.
42:34Whereas I, that's why I love Jaden Higgins. I'm like, I kind of want to get him 10 rounds later and see if Jaden Higgins.
42:42Yeah. I'm not saying he's definitely going to be T Higgins, but I'm like, it's, it's a, most receivers that are as
42:48talented as Jaden Higgins with the hype he's getting with that.
42:51When the first pick of the second round just have way more hype than Jaden Higgins is getting like almost always.
42:57They have way more hype. He's it's like people just forgot about him.
43:01I agree. I think this is really smart. I like it a lot.

43:48Any, who is, do you guys have any, who are your other name brand off brands?
43:53So my last one is going to be, my name brand is going to be Brian Thomas, who I'm going to compare to Snickers.
44:00And then he's going 70th overall in drafts. 30 spots later, it's Quentin Johnston for the Chargers.
44:05Well, I'm going to compare to baby Ruth. Ooh, Snickers and baby Ruth have the exact same four ingredients.
44:10Is that true? It's peanuts, caramel, nougat and chocolate.
44:13That's it. Ratios are a little different. Branding is different.
44:16It's the same goddamn four ingredients. Snickers just crushed it on the ratio and on the marketing, honestly.
44:21And it just looks more appetizing. It's big, veiny, a big phallic, veiny Snickers bar.
44:26It is. If that looks appealing to you, then sure.
44:28I just think it's funny that the Snickers is like by far the most realistic, veiny, phallic bar that you can get.
44:35Just the giant vein running down the top of it.
44:38And it's deliberate, you know, they're doing that on purpose.
44:41That's for, that's for you, DK. That's just a triumphant, veiny bastard.
44:44Yeah. Anyway, getting back on the tracks here. Yeah.
44:47So who's, who's the triumphant veiny bastard in this?
44:49Well, I guess on, on its surface, it's Brian Thomas, but I guess I'm making the case that it could be Quentin Johnston.
44:56These are two guys with like elite MVP caliber quarterbacks that, that are in what could be elite, like high octane offenses.
45:02They're both like big play guys right after the catch guys.
45:06Mike McDaniel, the new coordinator in LA has been very complimentary of Quentin Johnston.
45:10He's made some ridiculous comparisons to great players, but it seems like he's having a good off season.
45:15And Quentin Johnston is a very interesting guy because like he was a first round pick.
45:19He came into the league and, and we almost thought he was going to be just not out of the league, but
45:26like, like a complete bust as a first round pick.
45:29And every year he's gotten better and better and better.
45:32And he's had real stretches over the last two seasons where he has been legitimately relevant in fantasy.
45:37Last year, he had three games where he was kind of hampered with a hamstring thing.
45:42If you remove those three games, he was the wide receiver, 19 overall.
45:45This year, he's going as the wide receiver, 41.
45:48And now you have Mike McDaniel, who I don't have to remind people like the 20, what, what he's able to do with the dolphins.
45:55They led the league in yards per game. They were second in points per game.
46:00Tua led the league in passing yards in 2023.
46:02Now he has Justin Herbert. I think Quentin Johnston is going to be the number two guy.
46:07And if they're running more two wide receiver sets, Quentin Johnson is going to be on the field.
46:12I think there's a chance he scores the most touchdowns for the chargers this year.
46:17He, Lad McConkie has never had more touchdowns than Quentin Johnson has in any season.
46:21And if I wanted to be really bold, I would say Quentin Johnson is going to just straight up outscore Lad McConkie.
46:27I won't go that far, but I do think that Brian Thomas, because of what he did his rookie season, he still
46:34has a lot of like, he's like the classic by-low candidate this year.
46:37And Quentin Johnson, I just think people don't really think about him.
46:41I think he still has the stink of the first few seasons and it's baby Ruth.
46:46Just like, no one's thinking about baby Ruth, but it might taste the same.
46:50I can't remember the last time I ate a baby Ruth.
46:53Me neither. I feel like baby Ruth was the first thing I traded away on Halloween.
46:58For sure. Yeah. That and the smarties in the little, I was never going to, I don't even know why it's, is it, is it too much nougat?
47:06I think the chocolate magnate, the chocolate tycoons had a kid named Ruth.
47:09And it was like her favorite. And they just named, they never changed it.
47:13Cause in my head, it was associated with the baseball player, but I believe it has nothing to do with that.
47:20That a hundred percent was, this is me making something up.
47:23A hundred percent was named after Babe Ruth, but they changed it to baby because they didn't want to get sued.
47:29Oh, I think, I don't know. Oh, okay. I just looked it up.
47:33I feel like I remember talking about this. Widespread historical beliefs suggest that the Curtis candy company used, used, uh, the baby Ruth Cleveland.
47:40They used her name as a clever excuse to cash in on the immense fame of Babe Ruth.
47:45Yeah. Wait, they, plausible deniability. Grover Cleveland's daughter, daughter as a legal shield.
47:49Correct. Cause she had died 17 years earlier before they launched the candy.
47:52And they were like, no, it's named after her, not Babe Ruth.
47:56It's kind of dark. Yeah. Well, that's not great.
47:58Savvy though. Right. Oh, so Babe Ruth tried to market his own Ruth's home run candy bar.
48:03And they sued Babe Ruth for trademark infringement. Oh, they sued Babe Ruth.
48:07He's like two can play this game. That's crazy.
48:10They went on offense. I kind of like it.
48:12I do it. Craig, I really like this because I am slowly and surely becoming pro several players that I was very
48:19anti last year and Wanda Robinson and Quinton Johnston.
48:21I think Johnson might be one of the better values in the, in drafts period, just based on the uncertainty of how
48:28the receiver core is going to get split up in, in a offense that we think is going to be pretty good with the Chargers.
48:35Obviously, if Herbert can be protected by these tackles coming back and they can really run a more coherent offense, he's got a flamethrower for an arm.
48:43I just think there's a ton of upside with these guys.
48:46Quinton Johnston, if you go back to the draft, obviously the hands were an issue and that's shown up in the NFL.
48:52It's been a big deal. But the reason people were so excited about him is he is he's six to 210 and
48:59he can run like the wind blows. I mean, he is very fast, explosive.
49:03He's basically like Brian Thomas. I mean, he has that big playability in a big frame.
49:07And I think in a offense with Mike Montana, where they, they kind of get guys in space and design ways to
49:14get them running and kind of catching the ball while they're on the move.
49:18I think that could be huge. So I really like this.
49:21I think he's just going way, way too far apart from Ladd McConkie based on kind of like where they finished last year.
49:28Also, you want to talk about drops? Brian Thomas, twice as many drops as Quinton Johnson last year.
49:33Yeah. Brian Thomas was just in his head last year.
49:36Yeah. For my own purposes. I think, Craig, you could go a step further and do the Ladd McConkie, Quentin Johnson one
49:42if you really want, because I agree with everything you're saying.
49:45Quentin Johnson's skill set is perfect for Mike McDaniel.
49:48Mike McDaniel, like every all the pre snap motion, which Mike McDaniel does more than anyone.
49:53Like he's perfect for that. Just getting guys. The novel idea that Mike McDaniel took 100 years to implement, which was what
49:59if we just had guys running full speed on every play right when the ball was snapped?
50:04What was the sharp? Was it sharp motion? What were they calling it?
50:08I think it's called Canadian football, which I think is where he got the idea from.
50:12Which is just a good thing there. Yeah. I think when you guys are- Yeah, yeah.
50:17They were calling it sharp motion. I Googled it to be sure.
50:21I was like, wait, did I make that up?
50:23I think when you guys are out here in LA in a couple of weeks, we should try Snickers and Baby Ruth's together on air.
50:30I'm in it. And I think our listeners, please email us.
50:34If you think there's stuff, food that's easy to buy, that's like packaged, that you think there's a clear name brand off
50:40brand of, let us know and we'll buy it and try it.
50:43Like if you have your own- Am I about to show a brand on this show?
50:48I can just toss this up, right? I have- It's not- You know, I have something that I got for you.
50:54It's not an ad. It's not an ad. This is not an ad.
50:58I should bring it to LA. I shouldn't show it now, though.
51:01I'm going to bring it. I'm not going to show it.
51:05But if you have your, yeah, if you have your own Baby Ruth Snickers, let us know and we'll see if we can do it.
51:12I'm going to show it because you're not here and then I'm going to show you what I'm going to bring you
51:18and then you can taste it in person. Look what I found.
51:22These are matcha Oreos. Oh my God. From the, they are Chinese.
51:25Matcha Oreos. They're not Japanese? They, it says China on them, so I kind of just assumed.
51:30Very kind of you. Excited to try them. However, I will say, I think matcha flavored things tend to suck and I
51:37only like matcha in like a matcha tea. No, I didn't even want to get it.
51:41No, it's fine. I'm not going to bring it.
51:44He likes to drink his dirt only. He doesn't like to eat his dirt.
51:48I don't like dirt processed. I like it regular.
51:50Coffee's not dirt. He takes his dirt straight up.
51:53Coffee's totally different. Yeah. Leaves versus beans. I like my dirt with ice in it.
51:57Not in a cookie. Yeah. Black coffee tastes great.
52:00Yeah, that's true. I do love black coffee. I actually don't mind it either.
52:04I like coffee. Black bean juice. Love my black bean juice.
52:07What do we do? We do some weird shit as humans.
52:10Coffee is crazy. But I think Quint Johnson is great.
52:13Tea is also weird, by the way. So I have a, tea is, don't even get me started.
52:19The whole like, what's his name? Jason Sudeikis' show.
52:21What's his name? Fucking Ted Lasso. The whole Ted Lasso bit about tea is actually pretty good.
52:26Just spits it out every time he drinks it.
52:29It's so good. So can I give you, I think it's a very similar player to Quint Johnson.
52:34Sure. As my last value guy. The same way that Quint Johnson is low ranked because I think people are mad at
52:40him and kind of disgusted that they may have ever propped him up as a sleeper.
52:45And now people are like a little embarrassed. And so they don't want to push him forward.
52:50I think that DJ Moore is a huge value this year for the same reason.
52:54I like that. Yeah, that makes sense. Because I kind of do feel that way.
52:59I'm like, the way that he was kind of just the body language.
53:02Everybody hated the second round pick trade and it's stupid.
53:05Yeah. Can't spill value without you. And it's like, ew.
53:08And DJ Moore, again, like people are just mad at him.
53:11Craig hates every time I make that joke. Craig hates that one.
53:15I've been making a couple dad jokes lately, so I'll let it say.
53:19Yeah. But I think so. I look at Zay Flowers this year for the Ravens.
53:23He's like a top 35. He's ranked 30th on some platforms.
53:26I think Zay Flowers is like Zyrtec. And then DJ Moore is the store brand that just says like allergy relief.
53:32But if you look at the bottles, it's the same thing.
53:35Same active ingredient. It's the same ingredient. There's literally no difference.
53:39Because if you look at Zay Flowers, like DJ Moore is going three rounds later.
53:43Like Zay Flowers is like a third round pick.
53:46And DJ Moore is like almost a sixth round pick.
53:48But these are kind of shockingly similar overall statistical profiles.
53:51Bills and Ravens, kind of the same team for a while now.
53:55Yeah. You know what I mean? Vibes wise, yes.
53:57In a lot of ways, yeah. Same teams. I mean, mobile quarterback who's won MVPs and can't get it done in the playoffs.
54:04Dominates in the regular season. Ravens, Bills rely heavily.
54:07The rushing element of their quarterback makes the rushing game easier.
54:10James Cook led the NFL in rushing yards last year for Buffalo.
54:13Second was Derrick Henry for the Ravens. Like these are still good teams.
54:17James Cook and Derrick Henry standing next to each other would be funny.
54:21We got to get that. It's like the new Derrick.
54:24Yeah. It's like Derrick Henry and Mark King. It's Derrick Henry and Cook.
54:28But I think what's the other part of the Bills and Ravens that are similar is they have a weird number one
54:34receiver behind a bunch of guys who are pretty mad.
54:37Yeah. Right? It's like Zay Flowers and a bunch of weird guys.
54:40And then D.G. Moore. And so the whole thing with Zay Flowers of why he's ranked so high is that he had
54:47like triple the catches of any of the Ravens receiver last year.
54:50That he's like dominates this receiving game in Baltimore.
54:53They gave him this big contract extension. And it's basically like, OK, if they get a little lucky with touchdowns, Zay Flowers
54:59tackled a lot near the goal line last year and just in his career, famously the UFC championship game.
55:05And if he can score a little more, he's probably going to dominate the target share.
55:09And Lamar was hurt last year. And if Lamar is healthier, Zay Flowers could dominate.
55:14And I'm like, I just feel like the same thing could happen with D.G.
55:18Moore, like very easily. And there was can I read you one stat that really caught my eye?
55:23So Zay Flowers, the FTN Almanac had this. Zay Flowers got 62 percent of all the receiving yards by Ravens receivers last year.
55:3062 percent of all the yards. All the receivers?
55:32All the wide receivers. Yeah. So tight ends don't count.
55:35But still, 62 percent among your receiving group is the third largest mark in a decade.
55:40The only players who got more than 62 percent of the yards for wide receivers on a team are Michael Thomas.
55:462019, the year he got the catcher. Yeah. And D.J.
55:49Moore for the Bears three years ago. Oh, really?
55:51Yes. Interesting. And I'm like, this guy, the Bills.
55:54And I know that wasn't the years with Joe Brady, but Joe Brady was in Carolina as the coordinator when D.J.
56:00Moore was there. D.J. Moore is the head coach of the Bills.
56:04D.J. Moore got a huge contract to go back to the Bills, like a weirdly large extension.
56:09Like just the contract, the structure of his agent knew that Joe Brady, who is the head coach of the Bills now, needs D.J.
56:16Moore. They need him. He wants to work with him.
56:18The head coach is obsessed with having D.J. Moore play the main receiver in this offense.
56:23And I just think that people are sick of him.
56:26But he's going to he's another player who's just way better fantasy than real life.
56:30And he's going to dominate probably fantasy wise. I totally agree with this.
56:34The Bills have been in need of a number one wide receiver since Stefan Diggs left.
56:39And maybe D.J. Moore is not as good as prime Stefan Diggs.
56:42I'm not going to argue that, but he's good enough, I think.
56:46And he's 29 years old. It's a whole motto this year.
56:49He's good enough. He'll do. The second this trade happened, I was like, this is going to work.
56:54And no one's probably going to give a shit about this.
56:57But I think it's probably going to work. If you look at the rest of the receivers, I mean, this is just a kind of a mess.
57:05I do like Khalil Shakir. And I think he is a good player.
57:09He's a good player. He's mainly the slot guy.
57:11Compliment. Yeah. And then Keon Coleman has been a mess.
57:14Obviously, during times last year, he was on the inactive list for like, I don't even know what was happening.
57:20It was like missing practice or not working hard enough or whatever it was.
57:24You got Josh Palmer, who we liked a while ago, but he has not really kind of just panned out.
57:30You never know. He is a role player. Sure.
57:33And then down the list, Nicole Hardman's on this team.
57:36Dante Pettis is on this team. Rookie Skylar Bell.
57:38He was a fourth round rookie. Someone named Stephen Gosnell.
57:41Oh, the Goss. Stephen Gosnell. The Goss. Didn't we stuff you in a garbage can one time?
57:46Yeah. The Goss was. Let's all guess where the Goss went to college.
57:50What do you guys think? Oh, God. Dartmouth, Arkansas.
57:52I'm going to go with North Dakota State. Virginia Tech.
57:55Oh. He is a white guy for what it's worth.
57:58Okay. Trent Shurfield's on this team? I don't know.
58:01This receiver core is a mess. Max Tomczak. Ja'Cory Macklin.
58:04Mack Delaina. Quinton Skinner. Tyrell Shavers. He was good.
58:06I haven't heard of half of these guys. Tyrell Shavers, Aztec.
58:09He tours ECO. Oh, is he? Okay. San Diego State.
58:12He was popping last year a little bit. I know.
58:15He actually did look pretty good. But anyways, the point is, I do agree.
58:19I think DJ Moore's going to get a massive target rate in this offense.
58:23He's a good one. He's still good enough. He's good enough.
58:27All right? And no one's going to be excited to take – he's not going to rise up draft boards.
58:32Is there a world where the players in every round that you kind of just have been really mad at at some point is the best possible team?
58:41It's like the receivers are like Jalen Waddell and DJ Moore.
58:44Quentin Johnson. Quentin Johnson and Kyle Pitts is the tight end.
58:47It really is the water under the bridge draft.
58:50It's like, hey, you got to get over it.
58:52You know what I mean? That's in the past.
58:55Move on. You got to get over it. That's a good category.
58:58You got to get over it, guys. Yeah. That was like eight years ago, asshole.
59:03People don't forget. Quentin Johnson was bad like eight years ago, okay?
59:06You got to get over it, guys. You might have to do that.
59:10You got to get over it. Oh, that's funny.
59:12Okay. DK, any other just huge value players for this year?
59:16Quickly, just comparing two guys here. Harold Fannin for the Browns is the tight end six.
59:20He's going 67th overall. And then Isaiah Likely for the Giants, tight end 12, 104 overall.
59:25So pretty significant drop off from Fannin to Likely.
59:27Is Fannin like an American Apparel t-shirt? And then Isaiah Likely's like Gildan or jerseys or something.
59:32You know, you can get two for eight bucks.
59:35Gildan's good. Comfort Colors. That's another good one. Comfort Colors is kind of like the name brand here.
59:40I've never heard anyone say Gildan out loud, but I knew immediately what you meant.
59:45Oh, really? Yeah. I have some Gildan t-shirts. They're not bad.
59:48I do too, I think. I'm a Comfort Colors guy, personally.
59:51Yeah, I like Comfort Colors. Anyway, look, they're both bad.
59:54Sorry, they're both exciting move tight ends on bad teams or teams that we think are probably going to be bad.
60:00Sorry, Hyvitz. And I think the big question with both of them, and really the only question with both of them is
60:06how much are they going to play? You know, I think Harold Fannin last year, if you look at all the stats, Fannin far outproduced likely last year.
60:14I think there's a reason he's ranked higher. He set the Browns rookie catch record last year.
60:19And Fannin, I don't have anything against Fannin necessarily, but I think you get kind of a similar profile much later in
60:26Likely, where if Likely plays 75% of the snaps, obviously that's a big jump from what he's done in the past.
60:32I think he could be a top six tight end pretty easily.
60:35I think he's got that talent. He's good enough.
60:38He's not got a ton of target competition in the Giants offense is basically neighbors who, and we don't know the full health of neighbors.
60:45And then him, I think he's like, Likely is probably going to be the number two target getter in the team.
60:51Hyvitz, is there anyone else that could be kind of the dark horse for that?
60:56No, I think there's a chance DK that this is the best advice in the entire episode, because it's cheap too.
61:02You don't have to spend a lot on Likely.
61:04First of all, you're dead on about the profile of Harold Fannin and Isaiah Likely.
61:09They're both receivers playing tight end. Kind of like how they're both like 6'3", 6'4".
61:13They're wide receivers that are so athletic that they actually can do what everyone says about tight ends, which is beat all kinds of coverage players.
61:21But to your point, if Malik Nabors has any kind of setback at any point, which again, we've been talking a lot
61:27about whether Malik Nabors will be healthy for week one.
61:30Well, there's 18 weeks he can get injured. And so if Malik Nabors has any kind of setback, Isaiah Likely has a
61:36very, very strong chance to just lead the Giants in catches yards or touchdowns in any given week, which is not something
61:43you can really say about any of the tight ends after a certain point.
61:47Like you just don't feel that that's true. And I think that Isaiah Likely has by far of all the tight ends
61:53that are like your fringe starter, or you could even get as a backup really for Isaiah Likely, by far the easiest
61:59chance to just straight up being the number one option on a team, which is what you want.
62:05And so I think this is fantastic. I also think Isaiah Likely is incredible.
62:09And he's just the Ravens offense. Mark Ganges being there, it held him back.
62:13Like he's the all-time leader in like the toe tap almost touchdown.
62:16God, I know. He just has his feet are just too big.
62:20They need to get him into some like foot binding shoes or something.
62:24Oh, that's good. The only I was going to add that I was going to add the exact same thing.
62:29I do think Likely is a very good player.
62:32I know that it's kind of hard because he's just not a real tight end.
62:36And so offensive play callers kind of have a hard time figuring out how to use these guys.
62:42They don't play them that much. They rotate and they platoon at tight end.
62:46They have blocking tight end come in. And Theo Johnson's still there.
62:49And Chris Mann hurts. There is a chance that he just doesn't play enough to be a real fantasy factor.
62:55I think that is a variable they have to take in.
62:58But if he does, if he does play 75% of snaps, if he's basically a almost every down player, I think he could go off this year.
63:06You're hedging when you're like, well, he might not play it up.
63:09Can I remind you? The contract they gave him is three years for $40 million.
63:14They're paying him $13 million a year. And he's not a blocker.
63:17If you look at the stats for him when Andrews was not in games for the Ravens and over like the four
63:24seasons, he was averaging over 10 points a game.
63:26I think it was, you know, depending on the format that you're playing in, he was a very high scoring tight end.
63:33So, yeah, I mean, I really like likely as a sort of a late high upside tight end dart throw.
63:38Maybe not a dart throw. That's too strong. But yeah, and if he doesn't work out, then you can drop him in two weeks.
63:45Just the Giants receiving core is so bad. And I almost think it's not getting attention because the Dolphins are tanking.
63:51And the Niners receivers were all just eaten in the tragic substation accident.
63:55But like the Giants receiving core, I will see.
63:58There's all these videos of Blake Dabers being. I'm a little dubious still that Blake Dabers will just magically be 100%.
64:04Again, the players behind him are Darius Slayton, who they have been trying to get rid of Darius Slayton for seven years.
64:10Calvin Austin, who's how tall is Calvin? Is he five foot eight?
64:14Yeah, he's tiny. Yeah. Malachi's five seven. Jesus. And then Malachi Fields, who's basically like Mac Hollins, but is a rookie out
64:20of Darnell Mooney and Juju Smith-Schuster and Odell Beckham.
64:23Oh, yeah. Beckham's practicing with the third team. That's Odell's with the third team, which can you imagine being someone drafted free agent just throwing to Odell Beckham?
64:31But yeah, I think this is a great call.
64:33The other thing I want to add just real quick is Fannin and likely both are very much like they both fell
64:40a little bit in the draft because they lack the elite athleticism, elite like, you know, explosive traits.
64:45But they're both kind of like basketball players to me, like guys that can that can post or like catch a high
64:51post pass, spin around, you know, like square guy up and beat him off the dribble.
64:56That's kind of like the athlete I think of them as like it's like the first step.
65:01And smaller schools guy. It's weird if you're a scout to push for a prospect that is not huge at tight end,
65:07but also not elite athleticism and a smaller school.
65:10But they just get open and they'll be guys off the dribble.
65:13I mean, Fannin broke a ton of tackles. He's like duck footed and it actually works for him.
65:19It's like it helps him with his balance. It's kind of like Marshawn Lynch being bow legged.
65:24Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's kind of actually a competitive advantage.
65:27But yeah, it's I think likely is very similar in that way where I always see him catch a catch the pass
65:33square guy up and beat him off the dribble, so to speak.
65:36Like and I just think he's really he's just really good at that in the short and intermediate area.
65:42So of all these who is someone that you did not bring to the table that you've been most convinced by and
65:48actually actually want to move up your rankings after talking today.
65:51Craig, I'll start with you. I think I would go with man.
65:55I think the likely case that DK just made is really good or I would go with Heifetz when you you brought up Jaden Higgins on the Texans.
66:03Those are probably the two I'm the most interested in.
66:06I'm drawn. I'm drawn to Quentin Johnston. I just think especially for the price, just a lot of upside there and in
66:12this offense that we don't really know how it's going to shake out.
66:16I yeah, I agree. I like DK. I like the likely one.
66:20I'm going to move him up and I think Craig's right about Quentin Johnson.
66:24I just think if you believe in the Chargers, but also are a little afraid then get the quit getting Quentin Johnson.
66:30He's just my new Mike Williams. Yeah, yeah, they're all Chargers.
66:33It's Mike Williams Palmer. It's fucking Quentin Johnson. It's almost like you live in Los Angeles.
66:38It's almost like you were the backup quarterback for the Chargers for a couple of years.
66:43Third string, third string. Right, right, right. Third string.
66:45This episode is brought to you by Boar's Head.

67:35And with Fandle, you can bet on any of it.
67:38From who will win it all and division winners to season win totals and playoff futures.
67:43Fandle has all the ways to bet on the season before it even begins.
67:47I kind of love parlaying a bunch of teams I think will make the playoffs.
67:51I feel like the Ravens will make the playoffs and they're underrated because Lamar was hurt.
67:56And they have an easy schedule the first two months.
67:59I like the Bengals because they have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL.
68:03I like the Lions because they have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL.
68:07And I like kind of throwing a bunch of those teams together and getting like eight to one.
68:12I don't feel like it's that much of a risk.
68:15I guess the Chargers are the biggest risk, but I kind of like putting a little crazy, but Chargers, Bengals, Ravens, Lions all together.
68:22And if you believe in the same throw them in too.
68:25So I kind of don't mind them all to make the playoffs.
68:29I also kind of don't hate the Titans. That's that's maybe the craziest team I could see making the playoffs as a as a playoff team.
68:36But I kind of like the parlay of just a bunch of solid teams while making it at the same time.

68:55OK, want to do a couple of emails and get out of here?
68:59Yeah. All right. And just a reminder to everyone.
69:02First of all, we're going to recap all the preseason games that are going to happen over the weekend next week because there is stuff that will happen.
69:10So we'll hit them when all the games have happened.
69:13Emails. So name brand off brand. It seemed appropriate.
69:15This one's from Seth. Seth. That's bone. I heard the call for name brand off brand on a recent pod.
69:21I stumbled across a great one a couple of weeks ago.
69:24Blew my mind. So Seth just didn't eat breakfast?
69:27I don't think he included breakfast. What a joke.
69:30Should I just send a message and not read the email?
69:33What a joke. We'll allow it. We'll allow it.
69:35Craig, did you hear somebody? You can send a message and just not read it.
69:40Somebody asked Harbaugh what he ate for breakfast at his presser the other day.
69:44But the video cut off. What did he have?
69:46Yeah, my video cut off too. Oh, this was the Coach B.
69:50Gandex had this, by the way. And I think he responded it was a banana protein shake.
69:55Nice. I don't know if that's actually what he did or if we were just editorializing there.
70:00Okay. We'll let it slide with Seth this time.
70:02But look, people, we want to know what you're eating.
70:05All right. From now on, we won't read it unless you send the breakfast.
70:09That's right. Want the breakfast? You don't eat breakfast.
70:12We're holding your email hostage. Or maybe Seth's the new listener and he's not familiar with it.
70:17If you are a new listener and you send an email, we'd love to know what you had for breakfast that morning.
70:23We'd love to. We'd love to know. Seth writes, a lot of smart people, like our friend Mina Kimes, are picking the
70:30Broncos as the best team in the AFC. And my question is simple.
70:33Would anyone pick the Broncos to win the Super Bowl if Mike McCarthy was coaching the Broncos?
70:38Probably, yeah. Seth writes, it's hypothetical. Obviously not. No, no.
70:41The answer is no. The answer is obviously no.
70:44Seth writes, what if I told you the Broncos are already being coached by Mike McCarthy?
70:48Because Sean Payton's, for all intents and purposes, the exact same coach as Mike McCarthy.
70:53And the media has just decided that one's a dope and the other's a genius.
70:57But Mike McCarthy's career record. Dope. I like the name a dope.
71:01Someone's a dope. A dope. He's a dope. Mike McCarthy's career.
71:04They both have coached almost the same exact number of games.
71:07Mike McCarthy's record is, he has won 63% of his games and Sean Payton, or sorry, 61%.
71:12Sean Payton's won 63%. And then he says, yeah, but McCarthy's a way, he says, but someone might say McCarthy's a way worse playoff coach when it matters.
71:20Well, it turns out Mike McCarthy's career playoff record is 11 and 11.
71:24And Sean Payton's career playoff record is 10 and 10.
71:27McCarthy's actually won more playoff games. Yeah. Yeah. McCarthy has more playoff wins, does not have bounty gate, is not a dick to everyone.
71:34He's actually quite a nice guy. And both coaches regularly coach high-ranked offenses.
71:37Both have all-time playoff losses. And both were carried to one Super Bowl by a Hall of Fame quarterback.
71:43Breeze versus Rogers. Yeah. Yeah. Mike McCarthy's just off-brand Sean Payton.
71:46Maybe he might even just be one of those off-brands where the big brand makes the same product and markets itself better.
71:53This is good. This is really good. I like this.
71:55Speaking my language, Seth. Typing up big boy Mike.
71:58He's also speaking my language as the premier Sean Payton hater.
72:01It is the HR meme. It's the HR meme.
72:04I think that Mike McCarthy's a nice guy is derogatory because it feels like that's the only reason why the Steelers hired
72:10him is because he's nice and from Pittsburgh. Yeah.
72:13But... And he knows the quarterback. Do you agree with his case?
72:16Seth's case? I'm going to abstain from this because of my previous comments on Sean Payton.
72:21But I do think this is a fun exercise.
72:24It is really fun. Two things I actually believe.
72:26I think Sean Payton is a better coach. And I think that the 28...
72:30The Saints team that got just totally... Just... The rug pulled under them on that pass interference call at the Rams that
72:37is the worst call I've ever seen. That team was amazing.
72:40And probably should have won the Super Bowl. And Payton doesn't get enough credit for that.
72:44I also think Mike McCarthy probably doesn't get the respect because he's...
72:48Honestly, I think people are just mean. I don't know why he's just mean.
72:52It's because there's like funny shots of him on the sideline looking confused.
72:56It's like things like that. I think the real answer is that McCarthy doesn't get the respect.
73:01Like the reason I don't respect McCarthy as much is if you watch the Cowboys playoff games, how...
73:06Like, yeah, it's a good bit to be like, he's 11-11.
73:09Sean Payton's 10-10. But they lose in such stupid ways.
73:12Dude, one Cowboys season ended because Dak Prescott couldn't spike a football in 19 seconds the same time the Chiefs got a field goal of 13 seconds.
73:20That was the same weekend. The other one was a Zeke Elliott's career with the Cowboys the first time ended snapping a ball under center.
73:27Do you remember this? Zeke Elliott lined up as center in a trick play that didn't work?
73:32I think that's the worst play I've ever seen, maybe.
73:35It's like with the Pat McAfee snap. If you factor in like what was that steak, it might be the worst play ever.
73:42I agree with that. The Pat McAfee thing was regular season.
73:45Like in a playoff game with the season on the line, instead of Dak, it was crazy.
73:50And then the other one ended with McCarthy against the Packers.
73:53I think where the Cowboys down 30 to nothing in that game.
73:56So just the quality of the losses has been stunning.
73:59That's the real answer. But it's funny to think about.
74:02Yeah. That's good. This is fun. I like doing this.
74:05It's like player A versus player B comparisons. Yeah.
74:08Do you guys want to name a man or name a child?
74:11What? You heard me. Do you want to? This is we're doing name brand off brand.
74:16Would you like to rebrand a child or rebrand a man?
74:19I don't understand the question and I won't respond to it.
74:22Plater platter. All right. Maybe we'll do both. Okay.
74:25We'll start with this one. This one is from.
74:27Well, I'll tell you who it's from in a second.
74:30We'll go A bone. A bone. Breakfast was Yerba Mate tea with an everything bagel and cream cheese.
74:36Yerba Mate. Yerba Mate. Yeah. Yerba Mate. Yerba Mate.
74:38I guess that's. Don't you give me any fucking shit for reading M-A-T-E.
74:42This is fine. It's fine. Yeah. But have you ever heard it?
74:45You've never heard of it? No, I guess not.
74:48Yerba Mate. I don't know what that is. I read mate as mate and I will not apologize.
74:53Yerba. You've never seen the. You've never had Yerba Mate.
74:56Oh, that yellow can? Yeah. Yeah. I've seen that all the time.
75:00Have I heard it pronounced out loud? I don't.
75:02I clearly not. I don't know what Yerba Mate is.
75:05It's tea. I've seen that can. I can't say I've ever had it and I certainly don't.
75:10Never ordered it. Expect it to say Mate. I'm sorry.
75:13I just. I'm surprised you've never. No one in your world has ever said Yerba Mate.
75:18It's a popular drink, but it's okay. DK? I'm gonna let this one slide.
75:22I don't. I don't. I don't hate it. I don't mind it.
75:25Yeah. DK will never publicly take my side, but.
75:28I mean, he immediately jumped at you. It was like, it's Yerba Mate, which means he also knows.
75:33I knew it was Yerba Mate. I don't know what Yerba Mate is at all, though.
75:38It's tea, apparently. Says Craig. According to Craig, it's tea.
75:40Yeah. Well, that says. It's a very popular drink.
75:43I don't know. This is not some niche product, but anyway.
75:46Nikhil says they have Yerba Mate at the Spotify offices, so we're gonna have to try some.
75:51Yeah, they're in every store. Yeah, I'm not saying it doesn't exist.
75:55That's just, I'm sorry. God forbid I read Yerba Mate.
75:58I don't know. Anyway, email. I can't win, man.
76:00I just thought it was funny. I just thought it was good.
76:04Yerba Mate's good. I like it. Yeah. So the email says, I'm a 32-year-old man out of LA who's about to move to Seattle within the year.
76:12Hell yeah. So I figured now would probably be my last chance for a name rebrand.
76:16He says, my first name's Michael. My middle name is Angel.
76:19And since I was a kid, I have gone by my middle name, Angel.
76:23And I've always wanted to make the switch to Michael or a new variation of my name.
76:28But I can never land on one. And since I'm gonna be introducing myself to a totally new set of people soon
76:35when I move to Seattle, I feel like this is my golden opportunity for a name rebrand.
76:40Rebrand. Please, fellas, help your boy out. Also be a little nicer to my Broncos.
76:44You have an opportunity to restart. Well, so is he asking us to find something kind of within Michael Angel or just a brand new name?
76:52I don't know, but I think this is easy.
76:54If people ask you what your name is, I'm Mike.
76:57And you're just gonna start doing that. I think you should go by Mickey.
77:01Mickey? Fucking full send. Wow. Bring it up. Mickey.
77:04I don't know what he looks like. Can you pull off?
77:07If you can pull off of Mickey, that's my vote.
77:10I don't know what his last name is, but what if he just goes by Mike Angel?
77:15That's cool. That's like a porn director. Mike Angel.
77:17A Mike Angel production. Yeah. Mike Angel. Sounds like a magician.
77:21Yeah. That's sick. We demand to be taken seriously.
77:23Mike Angel. Mike Angel. Oh, that's pretty good. And then people just don't know your last name.
77:28It's Mike Angel. Well, that is it. Yeah. Mike Angel.
77:31Drop the last name. Hyphen. You don't know who you are?
77:34All of it's you. The whole thing is you.
77:37Is Mike also asking us to rename his child or is that a different email?
77:41Oh, that's a different email. I have to do that one too, clearly.
77:45So Mike Angel's the answer. The other one. I vote Mickey.
77:48All right. Mickey's cool. That's cool. I'm with Craig.
77:51Mike Angel. Mike Angel. Last one here is from Logan.
77:54He's not gonna do Mike Angel. Mike Angel is a character in Fast and Furious.
77:58Also, does he go by on hell? On hell?
78:01I don't know. I'm probably on hell horribly. But yeah.
78:03On hell. Like a Spanish. Like a Spanish version.
78:06Right. Mike. So I got thrown off by the mate.
78:09I can't. It's overthinking everything. Mike Angel is gonna have a Yerba mate.
78:13All right. Last one here. Logan says, my name is Logan.
78:16Sorry. Obviously. Jesus. Elbone. Breakfast was a pre-workout for the gym and three hard-boiled eggs after the gym.
78:21This guy's training. Nice. He's cutting. Yeah. That's hardcore.
78:24I love that. Logan says, I wanted to reach out about the rebranding because I may need your services.
78:29To set the stage, my wife and I have two kids, ages four and two.
78:34My wife is currently pregnant with our third child.
78:36We have a predicament. Our first two kids are both boys.
78:39And when we named our first son Denver, we thought it would be cute to keep the theme going.
78:45And we named our second son Dallas. Okay. So Denver and Dallas.
78:48But now we have a third child coming and we cannot figure out another name that works with the cities that start with D.
78:55Ooh, this is fun. Got it. Des Moines. Well, yeah.
78:58Their dad already suggested that. Des Moines. I was joking.
79:01No. Well, that thing is they're like, our family is just hitting us with bits like Des Moines, Detroit, and Delaware.
79:07Detroit would be hilarious. Destin, Dakota, and Dayton. And they want us to name our kids.
79:12Dayton, Dakota. Dakota's not bad. It's not a city, I guess.
79:15You could call him Dak or her. Dak is the lane.
79:18Yeah. Sorry. Is it a boy or a girl?
79:21Do we know? I think it's a boy. Not 100% sure.
79:24I think it's a boy. What would be a good girl name with the D name?
79:29So what? Yeah. But can we find a city that starts with D?
79:33I mean, Dayton sounds like a name. Daytona. Daytona.
79:35Daytona. Daytona. Damascus. Dude, come on. Damascus. That's kind of badass.
79:38Hey, what's up? How you doing, man? What's your name?
79:41Damascus. Dunkirk. That's sick. Dunkirk. You can go by Kirk.
79:44Kirk. Wow. Go by Dunn or Kirk. Oh, my God.
79:47Dunk? Oh, my God. So we got, what are the top four?
79:50Dakota. Daytona. Daytona. Dublin. And Dayton? And Dayton. No one likes Damascus.
79:54Just me. Okay. I mean, I like Damascus, but let's be serious.
79:57Dakota. Daytona. What was the other one? Dublin. Dublin.
80:00And Dayton. Dayton. Okay. So vote on Spotify. Go to Spotify.
80:03You can vote if you scroll down when you're listening to the episode.
80:07Okay. Thank you, DK. Thank you, Craig. Thank you to Logan and your wife for letting us name your child.
80:13Thank you to Mike Angel for taking that suggestion.
80:15Can't wait to meet you in Seattle. Thank you, everyone, for listening and emailing.
80:19Emails, punishments. We need punishments for the Ringer Fantasy Football League.
80:23Thread the needle of something that's funny, but also, like, Bill Simmons won't be in a Waffle House for 24 hours.
80:29So we got to thread the needle here. Thank you, DK.
80:32Thank you, Craig. Thank you, Cam. Thank you, Nikhil.
80:35Thank you, Austin. Thank you, Boo. Thank you, Carlos.
80:37Thank you, everyone, for listening. But most of all, thank you, Lord!
80:41Lord! What? Millennial Bangers Summer continues. We roll on 2008.
80:44You sound like Tom Brady right now. Closer by Neo.
80:46Not the Chainsmokers. The song Closer by Neo is one of the more underrated Millennial Bangers we have.
80:52Ooh. The chorus of this song will vibrate your soul.
80:55Pop that on right now. I'm going to pull this up right now.
80:58It starts a little slow, kind of builds up, and when you get to the chorus, put windows down, summer day, driving
81:05down the highway, you're going to have a blast.
81:07Do you guys not know this song? I'm pulling it up right now.
81:11I'm listening. I've heard it for sure. And I just can't pull myself away.
81:15Banger. Oh, yeah. I've heard this. I like this.
81:18Yeah, yeah. This is kind of an underrated one.
81:20I've never... I don't know this is, like, a super popular one, but I definitely remember it.
81:25The song was a thing. Neo is a thing.
81:28Neo was featured in a lot of big songs.
81:31Neo's in a lot of Pitbull songs. You know, time of, like, give me everything.
81:35That's Neo with Pitbull. There we go. Yeah. Sing that one, Craig.
81:38Neo also is a good name for... That was a good name he chose.
81:42It's N-E-Dash-Yo. It's good. Yerba Mate is his name.
81:45Imagine for a moment if I had said Yerba Mate and it was Yerba Mate.
81:49What would have happened to me? Either way, we would have laughed.
81:53I don't know. Neo's good. Just once, you gotta go, ah, sorry, I said it wrong.
81:58I know. You just can't take an L. Just one time.
82:01You refuse to be like, my bad. You have to be like, technically, I'm right.
82:05I knew that with the players all the time.
82:08I'm sorry about Mike Davis and all the players, but, like, no, you're...
82:11He's like, I refuse to apologize. Oh, my God.
82:14Oh, my God, please. Anyway, tell us about... Sing it, Craig.
82:17I don't know if I could have named this song, but this chorus is iconic.
82:22You know it, right? I mean, it's a really good song, and I added it to the playlist.
82:27Which is coming out at the end of the month.
82:30I know. I will release it. What are you gonna drop the playlist, Craig?
82:34Yeah. I should drop it right now. We're all waiting.
82:37Should I drop it right now? Yeah. How many...
82:39I got 18 songs on it. You know how some artists will drop, like, an entire album randomly on a Wednesday at 8 Pacific?
82:46Yeah, like, remember when, like, Beyonce just dropped a lemonade and no one knew it was coming?
82:51Yeah, I do, actually. That was crazy. That's what Craig's gonna do with this playlist.
82:56Just gonna drop it. Well, I mean, the playlist is already public.
82:59You can probably go find it. But now, it's called Millennial Bangers is the name of the playlist.
83:04It says by Craig. Now it's very easy to find.
83:07I will put it in the episode description. Go listen to Closer by Neo if you don't know it, or if you're like, oh, really?
83:14I like this. It's great. It's got a really heavy, like, beat to it.
83:18And I just can't pull myself away. It's good.
83:21It's like a good car song. Yeah. They all are.
83:24All the Millennial Bangers are great with car speakers.
83:27Do you have any emojis in the title? Because it turns out we're not the first to think of this.
83:32No. I'll just add the link to the thing, to the description.
83:36Cool. Should I add emojis? I kind of hate that.
83:39No. You got the ick just thinking about that.
