A.J. Brown

PositiveValue49:46

The source is bullish on AJ Brown in New England, comparing his situation to George Pickens' breakout potential. Despite concerns about his attitude and physical health last year, the source argues that a better passer in Drake Maye and a superior coordinator in Josh McDaniels make him a strong target.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveValue8:51

The source identifies Chase Brown as a top target and a favorite mid-to-late second-round pick. He is described as tough, reliable, and having no competition for his role, with significant upside in the passing game and a light schedule. The source notes he was the RB2 in fantasy over the final eight games of 2025 when playing with Joe Burrow, suggesting he is undervalued due to a lack of name recognition.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

PositiveValue38:36

The source identifies Chris Rodriguez as the cheapest starting running back in fantasy, currently drafted outside the top 120. He is a tough, tackle-breaking runner with a history under Liam Cohen, making him a perfect sleeper candidate who could handle early-down and red-zone work, though he lacks pass-catching upside.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveValue113:50

The source is very high on Christian Watson, noting he is the WR6 overall in games where he plays over 75% of snaps. With Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks gone, the source considers him a top value, especially on platforms like ESPN where his ranking is low.

Insight page

Cyrus Allen

PositiveSleeper120:57

The source endorses Cyrus Allen as a deep-bench stash, comparing him to Jonah Coleman. While he likely won't start immediately, the source suggests holding him to see if he earns a role in the Chiefs' offense early in the season.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveValue119:00

The source is turning the key on DJ Moore, noting he is the clear number one receiver on a team expected to be top-three in points, yet is available in the sixth or seventh round.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue34:03

The source identifies Swift as a strong value pick at his RB25 ADP, citing his 1,400-yard, 10-touchdown 2025 season and his role in Ben Johnson's elite rushing offense. The source believes he could finish as an RB9 and potentially unlock more upside if his pass-catching volume increases.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveRole52:24

Montgomery is viewed as a high-floor, volume-based play in Houston, with the source comparing his projected usage to Joe Mixon's role in the same offense. He is expected to handle the majority of rushing and passing work.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveBreakout52:32

With AJ Brown gone, Devonta Smith is positioned as a primary focal point in the Eagles' offense. The source highlights his 99th-percentile yards per route run when AJ Brown is off the field and notes the Eagles have the second-easiest passing schedule, making him a strong candidate for a top-10 finish.

Insight page

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

PositiveBreakout92:31

Despite the Seahawks having the lowest pass rate in the NFL last year, Jaxon Smith-Njigba produced well; the source views him as a focal point of the offense and a strong breakout candidate with AJ Brown no longer in the picture.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveSleeper58:55

Coleman is recommended as a deep sleeper and ideal last-round pick. The source praises his vision, balance, and professional running style, noting that Sean Payton has already expressed confidence in his practice performance.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveSleeper40:30

Brooks is highlighted as a premier sleeper, especially on platforms like Sleeper where his ADP (117) is significantly lower than on Yahoo (76). Despite limited career carries, the source views him as a potential starter who could win the job in a run-heavy Panthers offense.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveUsage107:32

The source argues Josh Downs is underrated and poised for a breakout if he plays more in two-receiver sets. Despite the addition of Keenan Allen, the source notes Downs' strong 22% target per route run rate when playing outside last year and believes he is a strong late-round target.

Insight page
NegativeBust110:48

Craig is fading Josh Downs, noting that he failed to break 70 yards in a single game last season despite playing 16 games, and expresses doubt about his fantasy upside.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveRole9:09

The source highlights Kenneth Walker as a key target following his move to the Chiefs. He is expected to benefit from the Chiefs' league-best light box rate and Andy Reid's scheme. The source notes his efficiency in the playoffs (417 yards, 4 TDs in 3 games) and expects him to see increased passing game usage, potentially mirroring Kareem Hunt's high-scoring seasons in KC.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveBreakout98:24

The source is high on Luther Burden, comparing his potential to Amon-Ra St. Brown but with more twitchiness. Despite a minor groin injury, the source views him as a definition of upside and a potential breakout star in a Bears offense expected to pass frequently due to a weak defense.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveProjection46:51

Now with the 49ers, Mike Evans is viewed as a high-upside target who remains an elite end-zone threat. Despite training camp injury concerns, the source believes he will be the primary option alongside Christian McCaffrey and could easily reach double-digit touchdowns, making him a value in the sixth round.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

NegativeValue17:00

The source notes that Marion Hampton has significant buzz and benefits from a strong offensive line, but they are concerned about the Chargers' injury issues (specifically Rashawn Slater) and the potential for a three-man backfield. They ultimately decline to 'turn their key' on him as a top target.

Insight page
PositiveValue30:48

The source notes that high first-round running backs in their second year with coaching changes are historically top-tier draft targets, and Hampton is being drafted very high as a result.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

PositiveSleeper115:56

The source identifies Quentin Johnston as a massive sleeper, noting he was the WR19 in games without injury last year and ranked 11th in red zone targets. He is expected to be a primary touchdown scorer for the Chargers and is a favorite late-round pick.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeRole36:51

The source compares RJ Harvey to Darren Sproles, noting he scored 12 touchdowns last year despite a lack of memorable plays. While some hope he becomes an Alvin Kamara-type player, the source suggests his role is less linear and he is currently being overlooked.

Insight page
NegativeProjection62:11

The source suggests that while some fantasy managers hope for Alvin Kamara-like production from Harvey, he is more accurately compared to Darren Sproles.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

PositiveValue102:14

The source views Rome Odunze as the cheapest way to get exposure to the Bears' offense. Despite concerns about efficiency and a past foot injury, he is seen as the primary beneficiary if Caleb Williams improves on deep crossers and explosive plays.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveValue95:00

The source argues Stefan Diggs is a strong target, noting he remained a top receiver in advanced metrics like targets per route run last year despite coming off an ACL tear at age 32. He is expected to be one of the two primary pass catchers in Washington alongside Terry McLaurin, with potential to outscore the more expensive McLaurin.

Insight page
NegativeBust97:13

Craig expresses skepticism about Stefan Diggs, citing concerns about his age (turning 33 in November), the poor state of the Commanders' offensive line, and negative team vibes, preferring other players available around pick 100.

1:13It also was the opening for fucking Jaws. And Jaws premiered at this theater, and that's where, for some reason, the three
1:19of us get to do a show. So we'll be there, so come join us.
1:23There are some tickets still available. You can go to the link in the description of this episode by tickets.
1:28Come see us, say hi. It'll be a good time in Hollywood.
1:32Craig, we're going to need a bigger boat. There you go.
1:35You've seen it. But, oh. Yeah. Jaws reference, Ifitz.
1:37Oh, yeah, no. Thanks. Jaws dies. Spoiler. I mean, they get him.
1:40They get him. Not before he takes some people out, though, Craig.
1:44True. Yeah, he got his licks in. Chomps him.
1:46All right, we're going to get to our favorite players, but first, we're going to take a quick break.
1:51This episode is presented by Verizon. Let me tell you all about Verizon's new simplicity plan.
1:56You get one plan, one price, just $30 a line per month, even for a single line.
2:00So while everyone is running for trade analyzers before offering a backup tight end, Verizon said, one plan, one price.
2:06Sometimes the simplest move is the best one, like the simplicity plan.
2:09Head to Verizon.com today. For new customers, $30 per line includes auto pay and switch discount.
2:13Additional taxes, fees, and terms apply. Unlimited data is restricted to on-device smartphone usage.
2:17Domestic data roaming at 2G. Okay. We're going to go over our top targets and sleepers for 2026.
2:22And we say top targets and sleepers because these are our favorite players based on everywhere.
2:27So it could be a first rounder. It could be a 14th rounder.
2:30The point is, in every given season, there's like somewhere between 20, 25 players that are true difference makers in drafts.
2:36Like over the course of the season. Less, honestly.
2:38It's maybe even closer to like 10 to 15 that are true kind of like the storyline of the fantasy season.
2:44These guys changed my entire year and brought me to the playoffs.
2:47And what it really comes down to is guys that could just having them on your team, looking at Yahoo's data or
2:53ESPN data or whatever platform you're on. Certain players can double or triple your odds of making the playoffs or winning your championship just by having them.
3:01Like people with that person were twice as likely to make the playoffs.
3:04And so what this is going to be is we're going to try to identify those huge swing home run players.
3:10Based on where they're going. So obviously a 14th rounder is different than a second rounder.
3:15With that said, we're going to do it like Seinfeld style, which is the George Costanza trying to break up with his girlfriend in Seinfeld.
3:21And it's like nuclear submarine. And she's like, we both have to turn our key to break up.
3:26And he's like, turn your key, Mora! Turn your key!
3:29That was Anna Gunn, right? From Breaking Bad. It is Anna Gunn from Breaking Bad.
3:33And Brian Princeton is also in Breaking Bad. Oh yeah, he's in that.
3:37He's the dentist, right? Oh, he's the best. Who's the anti-dentite?
3:40Brian, well, Jerry's the anti-dentite, allegedly. I got to tell you guys a story about that one day.
3:45We'll save that for, one day I'll tell you a story.
3:48But yeah, so these players will range from like, the reason it's top targets and sleepers is because we're going to name
3:54guys who are going to go in the third round.
3:57Not a sleeper. We're also going to name guys who go 140th overall.
4:00More of a sleeper. But it's more of like, Jackson Smith and Jigba was a guy that last year you would say completely changed your fantasy season.
4:07But he was going in like the third or fourth round.
4:11And then there are other guys who came out of nowhere last year, taken outside the top 150.
4:15That also changed your season. So we're trying to basically put all of those possibilities under one umbrella in one episode.
4:21Something, we're going to try to get through a lot of players here.
4:25So what we're going to do is we're all going to ask each other whether we're turning our key.
4:30And if all three of us turn our key on a player, they're officially like a top target of the overall show.
4:36And it's not going to be like, I'm like, come on, DK, turn your key for this guy you don't like.
4:42And you're like, all right. No, we are all going to do it.
4:45We can try to convince each other. But unless we believe it with conviction, we're not turning our keys willy-nilly here.
4:51No pressure. If all three of us immediately agree to turn the key, we're not going to talk or harp on the player.
4:57Like if all three of us are just like, yeah, we're turning our key on Dijon Stripling, the rookie receiver for the 49ers.
5:04That's it. We're like, all right, you should go get him and we'll move on.
5:08So yeah, we're going to get through a ton of guys.
5:11So if we all like him, write it down and we're going to move on.
5:15So with that said, we're going to go through and I want to start DK.
5:19We're going to start. We're going to go by position.
5:22So running back, DK, start us off. Give us a running back that you want to turn your key on as one
5:28of our top targets for the show for this year.
5:31I'm going to go with running back Chase Brown from the Bengals, who I think.
5:35And I understand why he's maybe priced where he is.
5:37He's just not as famous, not as sexy as some of the other guys just writing.
5:42Oh, you think he's priced low? I think he's priced too.
5:45Do you want to say what that price is for theoretically?
5:48No, no. I'll say this. I think he's one of my favorite mid to late second round picks.
5:53So if you are in a draft and you've got one of the top three or four picks in your draft, that
5:59means you're going to come back in and around in the second, the late part of the second round.
6:04I think he's a great late second round pick.
6:06And maybe the best second round pick you can make just based on some of the other guys that we have here
6:12with more question marks like Justin Jefferson. What's he going to be in that offense?
6:17What's the offense going to be? Look, what's going to look like?
6:20Kenneth Walker, who I do like, but I think Brown has a little higher floor.
6:24We got Drake London. God knows what's happening with that quarterback.
6:27Trey McBride, who I think is great, but he's going to regress off of what he did last year.
6:32Kyron Williams. There's a little bit of a competition there with Corum.
6:35Jeremiah Love hurt. So there's some other guys around him.
6:38Josh Jacobs, who has potential to maybe be he's hurt.
6:41And I think he has a potential to be suspended.
6:44So to me, Chase Brown has a great combination.
6:46He's tough, reliable, and he has basically no competition for what his job is.
6:50I think he has potential to score a ton of points.
6:53A ton of touchdowns is very highly used in the passing game.
6:56He's in a good offense, and the Bengals have a light schedule this year.
7:00So if you want to bet on the Bengals' offense, Chase Brown is going to be a massive part of it.
7:06He's just not famous. He doesn't have a sexy name that gets people going.
7:10So I think that's why he's falling a little bit further than he should.
7:14I think that's right. To piggyback off of that a little bit, he closed 2025 with eight straight games with Joe Burrow.
7:20Over that stretch, he was the number two running back in fantasy.
7:23So when he plays with Burrow, he is that good.
7:26He's just not famous, and he doesn't have a cool name.
7:29He's probably the first guy that you will draft that isn't famous.
7:32The 15, 16 guys ahead of him are all super hyped, cool, sexy, high college prospects, already been famous in the NFL.
7:38He's kind of the first one where it's like, oh, I don't really have a thought on Chase Brown, and he's not a household name.
7:45If Chase Brown was named, I'm just making this up, but Ashton Hampton or Marion Gentry, I bet that he'd actually be pretty high.
7:51I'm turning my key on Chase Brown. I think this is a no-brainer.
7:55I agree, DK. All right. Craig? I agree as well.
7:58I don't think he's like a screaming value, I guess I would say, but however, because he's going like mid-second round, but
8:04I do think it's possible that he finishes as like a top five running back.
8:08And I do think that would be a narrative kind of game changer to your season if you had him and you
8:14took him in like the mid-late second round. He just feels like a guy who's going to print money this year for
8:20you just based on offense that he's in, lack of competition, schedule.
8:23I think overall skill set. I mean, he's good in the run game.
8:27He's good in the passing game as well. What are you saying?
8:30Of all the stupid phrases in fantasy football, the one that I find hardest to argue with is he's going to print money for you.
8:37He's going to cost inflation. That sounds great. I love money.
8:40He's going to cost global inflation. Yeah. It's like fishing with dynamite.
8:43Yeah. It's print money. Yeah. Chase Brown. Fish in a barrel.
8:46There we go. Yeah. I think Chase, turning key.
8:49So Craig, you said turn key, but you did it on like a downtone.
8:53Turn key. Okay. Turn key. Oh, we have to do this together.
8:56All right, Craig. We'll give us someone you want to turn your key on.
9:00So I want to know. This is a guy we've not talked about at all.
9:04This is probably one of the more, this is the Super Bowl MVP, Kenneth Walker, who's now on the Chiefs, who I
9:10feel like we've barely discussed this year and he's going in the first two rounds of drafts.
9:14If you don't think about it that much, I like it.
9:17And then if I think about it a lot, I still like it.
9:21And so I'm kind of like, I don't know why we haven't talked about Chiefs.
9:25I didn't know where you're going with that. Kenneth Walker.
9:28Well, like, I think on the surface, you can just go like, wow, the Chiefs signed a star running back.
9:33The Chiefs never have a star running back. The Chiefs gave a bunch of money to a running back.
9:39This is what we've been talking every year. We're like, who can we put on the Chiefs that would be cool?
9:44Well, it happened. It's Kenneth Walker. And then you kind of dig in a little bit.
9:49You look at last year, I'm going to give you like three or four stats that sound slightly redundant, but I really
9:55want to hammer home what Kenneth Walker did last year.
9:57In the playoffs, we all remember it. He had 417 yards and four touchdowns in three games.
10:02He was a Super Bowl MVP. When he plays a certain amount of snaps, he produces.
10:07In the playoffs, he was only playing 65% of the snaps.
10:10When he plays over 60% of snaps in games, he's done that 26 times.
10:13He averages 17 and a half fantasy points a game.
10:16Last year, he only had 20 touches in a game five times, including the playoffs.
10:20Week 4, Week 17, and the three playoff games.
10:23He had more than 20 touches. In those games, he averaged 132 yards from scrimmage.
10:27And so I look now at his situation in Seattle versus now his situation in KC, and I'm like, Kenneth Walker faced
10:33one of the higher rates of heavy boxes at the running back position in the league.
10:37Very little light boxes coming out of the Seattle situation.
10:40Now he goes to Kansas City, where he's not splitting time with a guy like Zach Charbody.
10:45He is the lead guy. In the Patrick Mahomes era, Kansas City running backs have the league's best light box rate and
10:51the lowest heavy box rate in the league. So you can factor in the explosive play rate, which the Chiefs have never had at the running back position.
10:58Kenneth Walker had the third most missed tackles last year, and the Chiefs had the least missed tackles coming from the running back position.
11:05I'm kind of just like, I don't know, you may not be that into the Chiefs.
11:09You may think they're going to be mediocre. Mahomes is coming back from the ACL.
11:13Do they have any good receivers? But I'm kind of just like, should we not overthink it?
11:18And the Chiefs now have a really awesome running back, and this is still the Chiefs with Mahomes and Andy Reid.
11:24I love this. I almost put him as one of my guys, too.
11:27But I kind of wanted to veer away from it since I'm such a Kenneth Walker sort of just like Homer or whatever.
11:34But I love Kenneth Walker. I think he's an awesome running back.
11:37I also think he's going to get used in the passing game way more than people think.
11:42In the Andy Reid screen game, I think he's going to be amazing.
11:45He's really good in the open field. He creates explosive plays.
11:48He's much more competent in the passing game. And I mean competent as like a high compliment than I think people think
11:54just because he's sort of has this reputation as being an early down guy only and all that.
11:59But I think he has a chance to be like Kareem Hunt from a couple years ago where he's just like one
12:05of the highest scoring running backs in the league.
12:08He just needs to play more. And that's, I think, what he has a chance to do here.
12:13I mean, the main guys he's competing with for snaps, Amari Di Mercado, Brashard Smith, Emmitt Johnson, who's a rookie fifth rounder.
12:19I think he's going to get the lion's share that carries.
12:22Obviously, no one gets like a ton of ton of carries anymore.
12:25Hardly. But I think he's going to get a ton of work in this offense.
12:29And yeah, I really, really like this. I'm an auto turnkey on Ken Walker here.
12:33I agree with everything you guys said. I have Ken Walker ranked higher than you guys.
12:38We have him 17th overall. I have Ken Walker 14.
12:40I think you could take Ken Walker as high as 11.
12:43I know. I think I have no problem with this.
12:46So turn my key on Ken Walker. This is great because the two guys I'm looking for in drafts when I want to.
12:52If you can't get Bijan and Gibbs, these are the two guys.
12:56Chase Brown and Ken Walker I really want to get.
12:58Dude, the Chiefs were pumping out. Isaiah Pacheco was the RB 15 in 2023.
13:02You know what I mean? Now they have Ken Walker.
13:05I get it. The team's a little different now, but still.
13:08Dead last and explosive runs for Chiefs the last two years.
13:11And again, dead last and just touchdowns from outside the red zone by running back.
13:15So again, third guy in the second round running back, which I think it's important to start here.
13:20I have Derek Henry. And I just think it's ageism.
13:23Ageism is real. It exists. It's yeah. Derek Henry.
13:25I again, he had 1600 yards last year and people have him behind him.
13:29Marion Hampton and Jenty. I know he doesn't catch passes.
13:32And you know, Ashton Jenty is a good receiver, but like the Ravens are, I think the Ravens might start nine and one.
13:38The Ravens might win their first 10 games or they're going to be favored probably because they don't play a team that
13:44made the playoffs for the first two months. And then Derek Henry gets better as the season goes on.
13:49So it's also extra important that the Ravens are winning because Derek Henry is basically twice as good when the Ravens win games compared to when they lose.
13:57Exactly. And that's why I like Derek Henry. You could convince me Derek Henry should go over Jonathan Taylor this year for
14:03that reason, that if the Colts win six games, that Jonathan Taylor is going to have six good game scripts.
14:09The Ravens have a shot at having 14 good game scripts.
14:12And you know, people make fun of them for blowing leads, but they have the lead a lot.
14:17Derek Henry gets the ball. So a turnkey for me.
14:19I know I've been talking about him all year, but he hasn't lost a step and people are overrating and being 30, 31 age is different in sports.
14:27Now he hasn't lost it. That's all that matters.
14:29Hi Fitz. I just put Derek last night. I moved Derek Henry above Jonathan Taylor in my rankings for the reasons.
14:35Derek Henry last year had like 1700 total yards and 16 touchdowns.
14:38If Ashton Gentry did that, that's like the best possible scenario for Ashton Gentry this year.
14:43And Derek Henry just does that every year. He's just like eight years older.
14:47And that kind of sucks. I'm turning my key.
14:49And I think depending on your platform, you might be able to get Derek Henry in the end of the second round.
14:55So, but anyway, are you turning your key, Craig?
14:58Is that a formal? Absolutely. A formal key turn from Craig.
15:01DK? I think the only thing I'm worried about is the center position for the Ravens.
15:05I think Lamar is going to have a big bounce back.
15:08I think this offense is going to be good.
15:10But, you know, in the run game, obviously center is important and it just feels like that's a huge issue for them.
15:17That being said, love the addition of Vega Iwane, the guard out of Penn State.
15:21In the draft. And I just think Lamar being healthy, Lamar being able to like contribute in the run game a little bit more.
15:27And hold that defensive end because he, on like read option type stuff and just being able to kind of freeze guys,
15:33I think is huge for Derek Henry. So, I'm going to turn the key on this.
15:38We're three for three, guys. Well, and now we're moving out of, so I think one mini trend that I've noticed just
15:44going through this exercise is that we kind of like the second round at running back.
15:48Yeah. And so, go ahead. Well, I wanted to ask, do we want to stick in the second round at running back for a second?
15:55Yeah, sure. You have another one? Well, I wanted to ask, you guys sent me your list and then we're doing it now and I'm just looking.
16:02And none of us had Ashton Gentry or Marion Hampton.
16:05And I feel like we have them in the second round along with Ken Walker, Chase Brown and Derek Henry.
16:11But we're not actually like saying it with our chest.
16:13Well, I think the reason for that is. And so, is that like we're a little afraid?
16:18No, I don't think so. I think we have them in the early second round, but I think ADP has Ashton Gentry
16:2410th overall and a Marion Hampton 12th. That's the only difference is those guys are going late in the first round.
16:30I still like them. But in terms of like becoming a narrative of your season, the guy who's drafted 10th kind of
16:36needs to be incredible to be like a narrative game changing.
16:39He kind of needs to be like the RB1 or 2.
16:42Right. And so, that's my question for you guys is Ashton Gentry or Marion Hampton, if you were going to turn your
16:48key on one of them, which is it? Because I think for Gentry, better receiver, probably going to play more than Hampton,
16:54but not necessarily going to play as much as people want.
16:57But the Raiders are probably going to win fewer games than the Chargers.
17:00And you generally want a running back to win a winning team, generally.
17:04And then Hampton, it's like Mike McDaniel, Chargers, more talent on that offensive line, more injuries to the offensive line.
17:09Picking a Charger because they'll stay healthy is kind of stupid.
17:12Maybe a three-man backfield. If you had to pick Hampton or Gentry as a key turn, DK, which would it be?
17:18Oh, man. I think my heart is saying Hampton.
17:21Are we talking about at cost? Like, are they going at the same spot you're talking about?
17:25Like, you have the 12th pick in the draft and you can take one or the other?
17:30Yeah. Eileen Gentry. Yes. But I think at cost, I would take Hampton.
17:34I agree. But there is no at cost because there's no position where you're going to be able to, like, you're not
17:40going to be able to get both. You know what I mean?
17:43Unless you're picking both of them at the turn.
17:45You're picking one of them with, like, the 12th or 13th.
17:48Well, I don't know. If you have the 10th pick in the draft, like, you're going to have picked 10 and 14 or something like that.
17:55Like, you could absolutely get the two of them.
17:58Okay. That's fair. I guess you would say get both.
18:01Yeah, yeah, yeah. You could do a receiver and then come back around with Hampton or whatever in the second round.
18:06Yes. It's like the offensive line is massive. I hate that stat, though, because all that is just from the I'm almost positive.
18:13It's just the Giants Chargers game. You hate that because you're a Giants fan?
18:17In the league? I just think it's pretty obvious that having two good tackles, two top-tier tackles is going to be massively, massively important for Hampton.
18:24It could make a huge difference, especially for a guy like him, who I do think needs a little bit of a runway to get going.
18:31He's kind of in that Derrick Henry mold of running back where he's not super shifty in the short area, but if
18:37he gets a step or two, he's going downhill.
18:39I mean, there was a video this week of him running over a 49ers player at camp.
18:44It just gets me excited about what he could do with a couple of steps momentum.
18:48Yeah. I also think that Hampton has – would you guys say Hampton has better buzz right now than Gentry?
18:54Yes, but I also think the Chargers lost Tyler Biotis, the center, which was a huge issue for them.
18:59And also, we keep talking about Rashawn Slater and Joe Walt.
19:02Rashawn Slater hasn't practiced in a week and a half, and he's supposed to come back this weekend, but he is injured.
19:08And that – I don't know. That is one fear I have.
19:11And it is the Chargers. We're not turning our keys in them.
19:15I guess not. These two teams probably have the most significant play caller changes this season.
19:19I would say the Raiders and Chargers with Kubiak and McDaniel.
19:22I think Gentty is going to get the ball more and catch the ball more, I guess, are my two things.
19:28But I don't disagree with you, Heifetz, that the Chargers probably can just be better, and the Raiders might not be that good.
19:34But my fear is that we're afraid because we haven't seen it yet.
19:38But if we're talking about who are the players that could define the season and be the most important picks, historically, these
19:44kind of second-year high first-round pick running backs in their second year with coaching changes are like the first guys you take.
19:50Or Ashton Jensen and Marion Hampton, which is why they're going really high in the draft.
19:54That's my only fear. But we're a little afraid because we haven't seen it.
19:58That's the truth. They're still really good picks. But I think we're saying we kind of like Walker, Chase Brown, and even
20:04Derrick Henry more because we've seen it. And you can probably get them a tick later.
20:08I think what this is telling me is like I kind of want a late pick this year.
20:13Like if I have picked 9, 10, 11, the fact that I can get Derrick Henry and Gentry, Derrick Henry and Hampton,
20:19Chase Brown and Gentry is a really nice way to begin your draft.
20:23If I can't get one of the first two picks with Jameer Gibbs and B.
20:27John Robinson, then yeah, I don't mind having a later pick in the first round.
20:31I want two of the top 11 running backs, really.
20:34Yeah. With like Hampton. Yeah. My second running back is Gentry, Hampton, Chase Brown, Ken Walker.
20:38I feel incredible. All right. Let's move down the board a little bit at running back.
20:43I want to talk about DeAndre Swift, who I liked even before Kyle Monunga got hurt.
20:47Monunga is like the other running back in his backfield.
20:50He's week to week with like a knee hyperextension.
20:52Multi-week injury. So definitely significant, something to consider. But, you know, DeAndre Swift's going in like round six.
20:57He's like the RB25 coming off the board, which is pretty deep at the running back position.
21:02We have him a little bit higher than that.
21:04We have him as our 19th running back. If you look at last year, this is what I'm basically, I'm betting on
21:10Ben Johnson as like the next Sean McVay, Kyle Shanahan.
21:13Like really as the next guy to challenge the two of them as one of the elite play callers in the NFL, specifically running the ball.
21:20Last year, the Bears, it was a rocky start.
21:23Ben Johnson has a complicated offense. It took a while to get going, even with the running game.
21:28Ben Johnson, you know, I feel like a lot of these gurus, you think about them as passing game coordinators.
21:33Ben Johnson is a guru running the damn football.
21:36And you look at what the Bears did in the second half of the season.
21:40And even they had such a good second half of the season running the ball.
21:44Even their overall like rushing stats look great. Like they were they were second in rushing success rate last year behind the Rams, the Bears.
21:51Their running backs were were sixth in yards per rush and second in success rate.
21:55And DeAndre Swift, from a talent perspective, might be closer to like middle of the pack.
21:59But dude, he had 1400 yards and 10 touchdowns last year.
22:02Very quietly. He was the RB16 and points per game, which was ahead of Gentie and Kenneth Walker.
22:07And I'm basically just betting Bears are going to be good again.
22:10Bears are probably going to be even better. This is year 200 Ben Johnson.
22:14They were DeAndre Swift was first in EPA per run in 2025.
22:18He's 27 years old. Menunga hurt or not hurt.
22:20I kind of just want to bet on the Bears running game with Ben Johnson.
22:24And Swift is good enough. I'll turn my key on that.
22:27If Jameer Gibbs is great goose, then DeAndre Swift is like Vladimir Vodka.
22:31But like I do like, I mean, just the Ben Johnson of it all.
22:35But I agree. I just, I think the Bears are going to have to score a ton of points.
22:40DeAndre Swift, he's not a traditional runner, but I think this is a great one.
22:44I totally agree. Yeah, I think. Can we like define what we're turning the key on?
22:48Because I feel good about DeAndre Swift. I think he's a good value.
22:52But am I turning the key that I think he's going to be one of the most important players in fantasy?
22:58I'm not. It's relative. It doesn't. Every player we mentioned on this list, it doesn't mean they're going to finish just like a top 10.
23:04It's just you feel really good about it. It's like, if he's being taken as the RB25, could he finish as the RB9?
23:11You can't be polite about it. I think I turned the key on Swift.
23:15He was another guy I thought about putting in here.
23:17So I don't want to get like too cute.
23:20Could you be five weeks into the season and you're like, holy shit, DeAndre Swift is my favorite player on my team
23:26and is changing my season because of how good he's been?
23:29I can see it. If he catches more passes this year, which I think is in his bag, that's really where he could get unlocked in fantasy.
23:36I don't think DK, I don't know if he really feels it.
23:39I think you're, no. No, I do. You're talking yourself into it.
23:43That's not the thing. I agree. It feels like you're talking yourself into it.
23:47You guys, how about you let me make my own decisions, assholes?
23:50There's no peer pressure here. I'm turning my key on him.
23:53I told you, I almost put him down. I'm just curious.
23:56I wanted to just define what we're turning the key on.
23:59And I think he's going to be, he's going to vastly outplay where he's going in particular.
24:04It's like when we do the fantasy rewatchables and the awards at the end of the year, could he be one of
24:10the guys where we go, man, one of the biggest winners of the year?
24:13DeAndre Swift. Yeah. I just want to be a part of Ben Johnson's offense.
24:17Honestly. It was really remarkable what they did last year on the ground.
24:21Like when you look at some of the numbers, it's, they're like top five in every category running the ball last year.
24:27DK, who's a running back that you want to turn your key on?
24:30So this is a deeper sleeper type player, Jonathan Brooks of the Panthers.
24:34And I think that the analysis here is pretty simple.
24:37He's like the latest starting running back you can get in fantasy drafts.
24:40Like he might not end up being, he could end up being in a timeshare that could happen.
24:45Obviously like that's why he's going so late. We don't have a long track record.
24:49In fact, he only has like nine carries in his career, but everything you're hearing out of hit Panthers camp is they, he's looking great.
24:56They love him. Chuba Hubbard is week to week with a hammy, I believe.
25:00And that could really potentially impact longer term going into the season.
25:03Basically this year's Rico Dowdle is what I see Jonathan Brooks potential.
25:07I think the Panthers want to run the ball.
25:09They want to be balanced. They want to really be a physical team.
25:13And I think that starts with a run game.
25:15They're not going to lean on, you know, they're not going to try and ask their quarterback to throw the ball like 30, 40 times a game.
25:23Um, so to me, it's just a matter of style and where you're getting at me right now.
25:27He's the RB 40, 124th overall. Every running back that he's going around right now is either a backup or a pure
25:33change of pace guy or a, a straight up handcuff.
25:36Like hope the guy in front of him gets hurt.
25:39Jonathan Brooks could be a starter this year and he could just win that job and then hang on to it going forward.
25:45Out of curiosity, what, what, what list is that where he's 140?
25:49An ADP. Okay. I think he probably, it's probably, you don't have to take him earlier than that.
25:53He's probably like, I think he's a top hundred player anywhere.
25:57You're probably going to draft, right? Just depends on who's, depends on how the type of league, I suppose, is how sharp everyone is.
26:03But yeah, I think now, yes. I think, I think Jonathan Brooks has now become one of the premier sleepers of the fantasy season.
26:10Um, I do agree with you DK. Like I, he is a guy that late in drafts.
26:14You want to take a shot at, but I, he's no secret anymore.
26:18I guess is my point. I think it's weird because on one hand, the case makes total sense where he's an amazing
26:24prospect and the Panthers have a sneaky. Big offensive line and the Panthers going to run the ball.
26:29The question is just, he had nine carries in two years.
26:32And again, just hasn't played that much football in the last five years.
26:35And if fantasy is about volume and how much they're touching the ball, are the Panthers going to just give this guy 20 touches in a game?
26:43Or there's going to be some kind of snap count for him where him playing half the snaps would be like quite the achievement after barely playing.
26:50And the Panthers can both love him and be obsessed with him, but also like cap his, that's the thing I keep
26:56wondering about is the moment the season starts. So we're going to be like, oh yeah, why did we expect him to play that much?
27:03But yeah, if he exploded, it'd be really cool.
27:06That's my fear. But I get it to your point, DK, if it's like the 10th round, you're like, there's no higher upside player.
27:12I get that. Yeah. Like best ball. He's going like in the eighties, you know, he's going like Tony Paul around Tony
27:18Pollard, Jordan Mason, JK Dobbins, Jalen Warren, Jadarian Price.
27:21Out of those guys, I probably would take Jonathan Brooks.
27:23I mean, Rick Godaddle led the league in rushing for like a month last year, multiple 200 yard games.
27:29I do think the offense is capable of, and, and, and Canales is a guy who leans on a hot hand.
27:34Like he will give somebody 20 plus carries a game if they're playing well.
27:38It just starts to become about price. Like how high is he going to get?
27:42This is a platform thing. This is a good example.
27:45So if you're drafting on Yahoo, Jonathan Brooks is ranked 76th.
27:48But if you're drafting on sleeper, Jonathan Brooks is ranked 117th.
27:51Wow. So I think that that is the weird thing.
27:54It's like, I think if you're drafting on sleeper and you get Jonathan Brooks in like round 10, I think he's absolutely a key turn.
28:01If it's like, to your point, if it's Yahoo and it's like, you have to pick between Jonathan Brooks and, you know, some of these other guys.
28:08But even then it's like him or Brian Thomas.
28:11Like it's a high upside player. He's 20 months past ACL tear.
28:14It's not like he did it. His second one.
28:16Right. Same, same knee. Third time's the charm. 20 months past it.
28:20I'll turn my key. I know. I will too, because I agree with this.
28:23But this is lame. We're all in agreement. All right, fine.
28:26Fuck it. I won't turn my key. Fine. You're not going to do it?
28:30Just for content. What do you feel in your bones?
28:33You should do it if you feel it. I think I know it's lame to talk about the platform thing.
28:38But I'm like, if you're in sleeper, he's a key turn.
28:41But if you're on like he's 50. When you open your draft room, he's 50 spots lower on one platform than the other.
28:48If that's in a 10 team league, that's five rounds.
28:51I'm like, that context has to matter. Can we have a, can he be a caveat key turn?
28:55A platform key turn? I think he is a platform key turn.
28:59I think on sleeper, he's maybe the best person we've discussed so far.
29:02And on Yahoo, it's more like, okay, well, maybe.
29:05All right. That's fair. Okay. Next guy, Cam Scadaboo.
29:07What say you guys? Top 10 running back when he played healthy with Jackson Dart last year.
29:12Automatic key turn. Nothing to talk about. I love him.
29:15He's already playing. Like he broke his leg. He's playing.
29:17He's healthy. He's just fully playing already. He's nuts.
29:20I think this is a no, he's going to get all the goal line touches.
29:24He's going to catch the passes. The Giants signed Najee Harris.
29:27But that's because I think Tyron Tracy missed the block.
29:30I don't think Najee's going to play over Scadaboo.
29:32I think Scadaboo's the guy. He was on pace last year.
29:35He played six healthy games. He was on pace to be fourth among all.
29:39Running backs and receiving yards. He was on pace for 500 receiving yards last year.
29:43And Tyron Tracy just blew a block that almost killed Jackson Dart.
29:46I can't turn my key on Camp Scadaboo. Sorry.
29:49I just, I don't trust. I don't trust the, I don't trust him to stay healthy.
29:53I think he, the style in which he plays, it reminds me so much.
29:57Do you guys remember Thomas Rawls from back in the day?
30:00Yes. He's running back. He just a freaking maniac, but he just couldn't stay healthy because he would just try to run through everyone's face constantly.
30:07And I think that's Scadaboo. I just don't want to put, I don't want to put the fate of my team on Scadaboo's shoulders.
30:14So if he doesn't get hurt though, what do you like?
30:17Let's just say he did get hurt for a second.
30:20I still think they're going to be, I don't think the Giants are going to be any good is the problem.
30:25I think he has kind of the same problem.
30:28A lot. This is like what we've been talking about forever.
30:31Heifetz. They don't score enough touchdowns. The Giants are like last in touchdowns over the last like six or seven years.
30:37Them and the Jets. I just do not want to.
30:39You don't trust John Harbaugh with Greg Roman and.
30:42Yeah, we're talking about Daniel Jones five years ago.
30:44We've got a new situation now. I don't trust Dart.
30:47I don't trust anybody on the Giants, really. I do think the Giants have a good offensive line and could have a good offensive line.
30:54So you're not turning your key on Scadaboo. No, he's not turning his key.
30:58I'm not going to turn my key on Scadaboo.
31:00That doesn't mean I am completely avoiding him, to be clear.
31:03Like, I do think he has that upside you guys were talking about.
31:07But I just don't feel the confidence that you do that.
31:10He's going to be the guy in that offense that does all the carries and gets like the vast majority of the workload.
31:16Okay. And I just don't trust that. I'm honestly crushed.
31:19That's okay. You can tell. You can still take him.
31:22I will. I will. I'm just going to keep giving you the.
31:25You know what? Should I do once again that you will have more fantasy points this year?
31:30Cam Scott Port per game Scadaboo or Ashton Gentty.
31:32Just keep doing that every year for DK. Yes.
31:34Sure. In no universe is Scadaboo better than Gentty, by the way.
31:38I just want that to be clear. It still is.
31:40He's absolutely not. It's fine. Not even actually in the same stratosphere.
31:44The next person I want to ask you guys about for key turns is David Montgomery.
31:48Shout out Scott Barrett, who had a great article of fantasy points about his draft strategy this year.
31:53And he talked actually a lot about these last three guys.
31:56Jonathan Brooks, Cam Scadaboo, David Montgomery. David Montgomery is a guy that we truly have not discussed at all.
32:01Like, I know you said that about Ken Walker, Craig, but Montgomery, we haven't mentioned at all.
32:06He's the Lions traded David Montgomery to Houston for a bunch of picks.
32:10And I feel like Montgomery is just the lead guy on a team that's going to have an elite defense.
32:15And it's like the epitome of a boring player on a like a boring offense.
32:19But I don't know. I kind of think David Montgomery has a chance.
32:23Not quite this year's Javante Williams, but I think he has more yards and he's better in the receiving game than people think.
32:29And I kind of love David Montgomery in that, like at the end of the weird range of once all the good
32:35receivers are gone and you have to start looking at like Marvin Harrison Jr.
32:39I kind of love David Montgomery. Montgomery is the new Mixon.
32:42And that's what Scott said that on one of his shows recently, basically, that he has sources in Houston.
32:47He lived in Houston for a long time that said that said the team is going to feed him like Joe Mixon.
32:53It's like basically all the passing game work, the vast majority of the run game work.
32:57Woody Marks did not really do that much to impress last year, in my opinion.
33:02I think he was more he's more of a pass catching back.
33:05He's not a good runner. And I don't think he's the type of player that you're going to like take David Montgomery
33:11off the field to try and get him more touches.
33:14I think they signed David Montgomery to be the engine of their run game.
33:17The run game hasn't worked for years. They they drafted Keelan Rutledge in the first round to be their center.
33:23And I think they're going to make a huge focus on running the ball.
33:27So I turn my key on this tentatively just because I think, you know, the history of the Texans run game is pretty horrible.
33:33But this is a pure volume play for me.
33:36Two years ago on the Texans, Joe Mixon, that I believe like the same age that David Montgomery is now pretty close, was the RB9.
33:43He had about a thousand yards rushing, 11 touchdowns, 35 catches, 300 yards.
33:46That's kind of what we're looking at, right? Around a thousand yards, 10, 12 touchdowns, 35 catches, right?
33:51Something like that. Maybe a few more catches. Doesn't get you going.
33:54I don't know if I'm like, I think he could be a productive player that outperforms his average draft position, but I don't know if I'm like.
34:02He'll be a story of the season. David Montgomery was one of the best fantasy picks of 2026.
34:07I get that. I'd rather Scadaboo. I'd feel strongly about it.
34:10Like who could just be like a superstar in fantasy?
34:13I think Scadaboo is a way higher chance. I get that.
34:16I like, I think Montgomery is like high floor.
34:18I don't want to say low ceiling, but like more dependable than he is a potential explosion.
34:23Okay. So I don't know if I'll turn the key, although I think he's a solid pick.
34:27So no Montgomery then. Can I give you two other running backs?
34:31Unless you guys have any other running backs you want to talk about key turn?
34:35So far we've turned our keys on Chase Brown, Ken Walker, Henry, Swift.
34:38Jonathan Brooks. I thought we didn't do Brooks. We did Brooks?
34:41We did Brooks. Okay. We did a master risk, right?
34:44Right. Platform, platform key turn. Do you guys have any others?
34:47Cause I have two more that I want to ask you this about.
34:51I don't have any other running backs. I think this speaks to the overall running back strategy, which is for the most
34:57part, we call it barbell, which is like in the beginning and at the end and not so much in the middle.
35:03Yeah. The perfect lunch combo. That first bite of your favorite sub followed by ice cold Pepsi.
35:07Add a couple of friends and now that's next level.
35:10Suddenly the laughs get louder. The stories keep flowing and the food tastes better.
35:14Because Pepsi brings out more flavor, more fun, and more of the moment.
35:18Food deserves Pepsi. Grab a Pepsi Zero Sugar today.
35:20I don't think I can be your friend, Isabella said.
35:23Rebecca's stomach flipped. This is the love story of real hinge couple, Isabella and Rebecca written and read by me, Tammy Denton-Hurst.
35:29Listen to the free audio book now. The one I want to ask you about Jonah Coleman running back for the Broncos.
35:35He's a rookie. We've talked about a lot. The thinking man's Cam Scadaboo.
35:38The side under drafted. Because he doesn't have really speed.
35:41But he's the size to be a goal linebacker.
35:44The hands in blocking to be a pass catcher.
35:46And third down. And I just think Jacob Dobbins at some point will go down with an injury.
35:51And then Jonah Coleman will be a star. And I just think he's going to play.
35:55And he's dirt cheap. He might not get drafted in any league you're in.
35:59So you can take him truly right before you take a defense or a kicker.
36:03And I just think he's a perfect player to hold for the beginning of the season.
36:08Can I ethically turn my key after everything I've said about Sean Payton over the last few years?
36:13Because I love Jonah Coleman. With your last pick.
36:15I'm going to turn my key on it. Because number one, I want to turn over a new leaf here.
36:21I'm going to stop with my insane bias over Sean Payton.
36:24By the way, he's not even calling plays. At least for the first week.
36:27And I just really love Jonah Coleman. I think when you watch him in that game.
36:32I said this on the last show. It's just such a perfect encapsulation of why he's good.
36:36The tempo which he ran. The balance. Sort of the vision.
36:39You can tell he's a professional runner. I just really like the style which he runs.
36:44He breaks tackles. I think he could be really good in the passing game.
36:48And not that this really matters. But it does kind of affect me late in drafts.
36:52What Sean Payton said after the game. They took him out after like 13 plays.
36:56I've seen enough. He's like, I've seen enough. I don't need to see any more based on what he's shown me in practice.
37:03That's why we took him out at that point in the game.
37:06So I like this actually. Yeah. I'm turning my key on Jonah Coleman.
37:09I think he's a great last round pick. It's hard.
37:12It's hard not to like agree. I mean, we're so late in the drafts.
37:16And there's not. I wouldn't say there are a bunch of other people around him.
37:20Like the guys going around him are like Kenyon Sadiq.
37:23And like Chigakonkwo. Jalen Coker, I guess I like.
37:25Kamara. You know, Jalen McMillan is a solid pick.
37:28Upside it has to be Jonah Coleman. Yeah. And it's funny.
37:31We'll have to talk about RJ Harvey one day this month because he is a name that has not been out of today.
37:37It's simple. I think people want RJ Harvey to be like Alvin Kamara.
37:41And I just think he's much closer to Darren Sprouls.
37:43Sean Payton sees RJ Harvey as like a Darren Sprouls-esque player who can throw.
37:47The funny thing is every time I. Craig, you texted us the other day.
37:51Did. How many touchdowns did RJ Harvey score last year?
37:54Like 12? Yep. I can't remember any of them.
37:56Like, I know that he did that. I checked.
37:59I went and confirmed it. Sure enough, he did score 12 touchdowns.
38:02Yep. But it's like, he's kind of in that Drake London mold early, early career Drake London where I'm like, I can't remember a goddamn play he made.
38:10It's just. Yeah. I'm sure he made some good plays.
38:12But like, he had 900 yards and 12 touchdowns.
38:15Yeah. We're totally overlooking him. The. Well, it's just not as linear.
38:18It's they have different roles. Like I totally Dobbins gets hurt.
38:21Coleman's going to take Jake Dobbins. And then it's Harvey be playing the whole time.
38:25The other player I want to mention that we haven't talked about at all.
38:29And DK, you said Jonathan Brooks might be the cheapest running back in fantasy this year.
38:34I disagree. The cheapest starting running back is Chris Rodriguez.
38:36The running back for the Jaguars who had foot surgery.
38:39So Travis ETN, Travis HN left the Jaguars in free agency and it left them with LeQuint Allen Jr.
38:44is like a special teams blocking guy. It's a third down back.
38:47Passing third down back. He's hurt for training camp.
38:50And then it's Basial Tootin who's like fast as the wind.
38:53And the Chris Rodriguez, who's like a journeyman, early down guy that played for Liam Cohen in college in Kentucky.
38:58And he had foot surgery in April and everyone wants to Chris Rodriguez to just like walk into the sea.
39:04So Basial Tootin can be the coolest, sexiest player ever.
39:07I have a question for you guys. Basial Tootin is going in the 60th pick basically.
39:11He's like a top 60 player. Chris Rodriguez is outside the top 120.
39:15He's going 60 spots later. I think there's a chance that Basial Tootin is the highest drafted running back in the history
39:21of fantasy football who's slated to be the week one kick returner for his team.
39:25I can't off the dome remember, and I'm going to try to look this up this week, but I do not think
39:31there's anybody that's going to be the kick returner that's going six rounds ahead of the other running back.
39:36And I know that's not fun, but I think it's a version of the Ramondre Stevenson, Trevion Henderson thing, where I'm not
39:42saying Chris Rodriguez's ceiling is as high as Basial Tootin's ceiling, because Basial Tootin runs a 4-2-7 40-yard dash and is so explosive.
39:48But I kind of think you should take two running backs in the first three rounds, and you may be a middle
39:54guy, but your last pick, if you can't get Jonah Coleman, I think it should be Chris Rodriguez, because there's a chance
40:00you just get a starting running back in the 13th round.
40:03I like this. This is a guy with a relationship with Liam Cohen.
40:07They played—Liam Cohen coached him in college. I agree, Heifetz.
40:10Chris Rodriguez is one of those running backs where I remember him coming into the NFL, and whatever fucking advanced stat you'd
40:16sort, broken tackles, missed tackles, forced, yards after contact, it's like, why does Chris Rodriguez keep fucking showing up on all of these?
40:22You know what I mean? Like, he just is really—he's a tough, tough, tackle-breaking runner in the old-school mode where he's just
40:28going downhill, but he's like really hard to tackle.
40:31There is always a Chris Rodriguez to Basial Tootin in fantasy.
40:34Like, maybe two years ago, it was David Montgomery to Jameer Gibbs, but there is always the guy that everyone wants to
40:40get out of the fucking way, but that he will be the guy getting the carries in the red zone.
40:45He gets—yes, he gets—it's third and one. Who's getting the ball?
40:48Like, who is the old reliable? And that might be Chris Rodriguez in this offense, which might be a very good offense.
40:54But to finish my thought real quick, it's the same deal.
40:57Every stat, every positive stat you can find with Basial Tootin from last year going into this season is like, ooh, that's
41:03kind of interesting success rate in the red zone, blah, blah, blah.
41:06But fucking Chris Rodriguez is right there or ahead of him and all of them too.
41:11So it's like you have to make this decision.
41:13Are you going to, you know, kind of go for the gusto and take Basial Tootin where he's going, which is kind
41:19of expensive based on the history of what he is, or very expensive based on his history?
41:24Or do you want to just go with a really cheap guy?
41:27The only thing I will say here is he's going to have to score a lot of touchdowns probably to be fantasy
41:33relevant because he does not catch passes. He has six total catches in his career, almost 200 carries, but six catches.
41:39So that's the only difference here. Just kind of maybe it depends on the thing.
41:43But I am, I'm a hundred percent on board this because I think he's a very good runner and this is a
41:49very uncertain backfield and you might as well take the super cheap guy and just kind of hope it turns out.
41:55That's the thing. It's just the Jaguars is supposed to be a good team.
41:59So yeah, I think he's a, he's a perfect sleeper.
42:02He's like a cheaper version of Jordan Mason. Yeah.
42:04Yeah, exactly. Again, sleeper is 140th ESPN. He's like 148th.
42:07And I'm like, that's just starting running back. I'll turn my case.
42:10Yeah, I will. And again, if he sucks, you cut him, but like it's for, it just, I just think it's a mistake.
42:16Okay. Okay. Wide receivers. This one's hard. There's a lot of receivers this year, Craig.
42:20They're all hurt. The receivers were ready to turn our key on it.
42:24Again, we're trying to focus on guys that could deliver such a huge value relative to you take them that.
42:29DK's right. They are all injured. However, I'm going to talk about Emeka Abuka who I've talked about a ton this off season.
42:36So I'll be quick. He has a toe injury.
42:38We don't know if it's turf toe. He appears to be out for a little bit.
42:43If it's turf toe changes my opinion. If it's not turf toe, I feel a little bit better about it.
42:48We kind of just straight up don't know what's going on.
42:51However, if he were to play week one and he is healthy, I think he is one of the best bets to
42:57be the JSN of this year, except he's playing the Cooper cup role.
43:01Like I think him on Tampa Bay with this new offense under Zach Robinson with a healthy Baker Mayfield.
43:06He has the chance to truly be a defining character in fantasy this year.
43:10You look at what he did in the first five weeks of last year as a rookie was like all time numbers
43:16like Randy Moss and then Emeka Abuka in terms of how good he was in the first five weeks of the season.
43:22Mike Evans is gone. Yeah. Let's say you. I'm going.
43:25He's still going in like the sixth round of drafts, which I think is late.
43:29It might be toe related, but I think that's late.
43:31I'm a key turn on this. I'm a big believer.
43:34I think in this year's bucks offense because of the offensive line, your offensive line could be elite.
43:39And we've seen how that spills over into fantasy scoring so much.
43:42Like think about some of the old days with like the, the Cowboys offense where everybody's eating because the offense fine is just so fucking good.
43:50And I think they have the potential to do that if they can stay healthy.
43:54Obviously the question is, is his foot hurt? We don't really know.
43:57Like how, I guess, how hurt is it? We don't really know at this point in time.
44:02So I'm still turning the key on a Mecca book.
44:04I love him. I think he's a really good, I think he's a really, really good player and he's going to have
44:10a better role for that suits his skillset this year than he did last year.
44:14I think Baker Mayfield is going to be a lot better than he was last year.
44:19So I think we could see this team turn back into a really high scoring sort of fantasy juggernaut.
44:24And I don't think Jalen, Jalen McMillan, I believe coming off of a back injury, who knows what's going to happen?
44:30Neck injury. Neck injury. Godwin is, you know, older.
44:32I think he's going to play a role, but he's not going to be the focal point of this offense.
44:38I think a Mecca book is the focal point of this offense.
44:41Hyvitz is going to say no because of the toe, huh?
44:44No, because the only question. I don't, I disagree.
44:47The problem is, I don't know if we're going to find out for the draft.
44:51That's the only question I want to ask you guys.
44:53And that's a factor. There's a toe sprain. So it's weird because a turf toe is also kind of like a toe sprain to a ligament.
45:01And it's like a square rectangle thing where I think all turf toes are toe sprain, but not all toe sprains are turf toe.
45:07And the problem is we know he has a toe sprain and if it's the regular toe sprain turnkey and if it's
45:13turf toe, I don't think any of us would turn the key.
45:16But I also don't think we're going to know before people draft because realistically, because the season starts Wednesday, I think that
45:22you would actually be able to find out if he practice, if Mecca booka practices the Wednesday before week one, he's probably does not have turf toe.
45:30But if Mecca booka misses the Wednesday practice before week one, he probably does have turf toe.
45:34And I don't think Todd Bowles is going to tell us before.
45:38So that's the only question I want to throw out at you guys.
45:41What do you do when you're like, yeah, he might have turf toe, he might not.
45:46It's a leap of faith. The crazy thing about receiver this year is it's a huge leap of faith with so many of these guys.
45:53If anything, he got hurt already, which is good because there's time.
45:56Got that out of the way. The healthy receivers will get hurt later.
45:59I'm going to turn my key because I think a book is that good.
46:03Also, he's already hurt. So people can't get mad at us when we tout a player and then he gets hurt.
46:09I got turf toe in February and I'm still dealing with it.
46:12Oh, no. Well, then why the fuck did you turn your key?
46:16Well, because I might not. First of all, I don't have the same, you know, medical availabilities that Emeka Abuka has probably on a daily basis.
46:23I'm also not a premier athlete in the NFL and he might not have it.
46:27I'll turn my key into Abuka, but I there's the easy.
46:30I'm sure a lot of people are yelling if you like so many receivers, why would you take one of the hurt ones?
46:36Because I think this guy, I think he legitimately like if he played 17 games, I think he'd be a top 10 wide receiver.
46:43Yeah, I agree. I do agree with that. And that's the point.
46:46DK, who's a receiver you want to turn your key on this year as one of our top targets?
46:51Speaking of scary injury people, Mike Evans for the 49ers.
46:54We've obviously talked about the substation plenty. We don't have to do that more.
46:58But he's already missed time in training camp. I think I lean that this is more just like taking care of a veteran and precautionary.
47:05Let him hang out on the sideline rather than trying to push him through like a rigorous training camp.
47:10Hopefully that's what the 49ers doing here. But I still think Evans has it like he's still a very good player.
47:16And crucially, he's the number one number one option in this offense other than Christian McCaffrey.
47:20So he left. Yeah, he left Tampa Bay. I know we just talked about Tampa Bay.
47:24He's in San Francisco. It's worth right. He's a 49er now.
47:27And I just number one, the 49ers offense is going to score a lot of points.
47:32I think that's kind of a given. In fact, they could be a sneaky shootout team that has not as good of
47:38defense as we thought or as kind of like we consider their defense because of previous years, like their defense was just
47:44not good last year, largely because of injuries. But this could be a sneaky shootout team.
47:48Mike Evans to me is is he's like a T Higgins type of player.
47:52T Higgins plus where he could score a bunch of touchdowns, like basically a touchdown a game.
47:57If everything kind of falls right for me, stays healthy, stays on the field.
48:01I mean, he has over the last three seasons, the fourth amount of end zone targets in the NFL among receivers.
48:06The only guys with more Devante Adams, who is basically a goal line back at this point, CD lamb and Colin's Cortland Sutton of all people.
48:13And I believe in pretty, I believe in Shanahan.
48:16And I think he's going to score a lot of touchdowns.
48:19He might not have as high of a target rate as some of the, some of these other elite receivers, but I
48:25think he's going to really pay off in, you know, the important part of the field.
48:29This is a full key turn for me. I think unless he gets hurt in the future, I think now this is more maintenance.
48:36This is the latest you've ever been able to draft Mike Evans.
48:39You can get him in like the sixth round.
48:42How many touchdowns would he have to score this year?
48:44You'd be like shocked. Like what would 15 shock you?
48:47No. Like with 17, like maybe. I think he's still got it.
48:50Yeah. I'd probably be like surprised. Yeah. 16 would shock you.
48:53Holy shit. But even 14 doesn't really phase me.
48:56Devonta Adams at 14 last year. And that's essentially what we're banking on Mike Evans being this year.
49:01Brock Purdy is one of the best end zone throwing quarterbacks in the league.
49:05I think if he's on the field, he's going to score automatic double digit touchdowns.
49:09And also that's, it's like, you can't do like, I was going to say Devonta Adams is his floor last year.
49:15That really, his, that role is similar in that, you know, Devonta is getting open.
49:19Evans is going to just be the jump ball guy that's open even when he's covered.
49:23But he also might just have it still like downfield in a way that Devonta doesn't necessarily.
49:28So I think there might be fewer touchdowns, but more fewer as in like 10, but more yardage.
49:33I, yeah, I'm turning my key on Evans. That's fine.
49:35I think this is a no brainer because Mike Evans, there's a world you, Mike Evans is your third or fourth receiver, which is unbelievable.
49:42I've turned key. Okay. So returning key to book Evans, AJ Brown.
49:46I, for those who haven't heard me rant about this all off season, I think AJ Brown's George Pickens this year, head
49:52case on a new team, something to prove better passer, better coordinator in new England than he had in England.
49:57Not saying Drake may is so much better than Jalen hurts, but as a pure passer, absolutely.
50:02Josh McDaniel is better than what the Eagles had last year.
50:05Coordinator is motivated. I'm all in on AJ Brown this year and I won't be offended if you guys don't turn your key, but I am.
50:12I am turning my key DK. I don't know if you are, huh?
50:15I don't think I'm going to. I just think you're making a few assumptions that I'm not quite ready to get there
50:21with in terms of like what happened to him last year.
50:24Like you're making the assumption he just decided he didn't want to play.
50:28Is that an assumption? Yeah. I think there's also this realistic possibility.
50:31Is it not the giving up on routes? No, he's just not as fucking good as he used to be as the other.
50:38It's not a physical issue and you just like start jogging.
50:41Oh, I think it is a physical issue. That's the problem.
50:44There's a chance it's a physical issue. Maybe he does come back and he's just like incredible.
50:48Um, but I just don't know if I'm ready to quite get there, especially where he's going.
50:53He's going. He's like, he's a very expensive receiver.
50:55Um, and so I'm just like, I, I, I don't know if I want to like stake my season on him again
51:01after kind of what happened last year. I know it's a totally different offense.
51:05I know he's probably, he's got way more upside potential in this offense, but when AJ Brown tweeted, if you're not welcome,
51:11not listen to quietly withdraw, don't make a scene.
51:14You think his knees tweeted that? I think quietly withdraw.
51:17I think both things can be true. Also, I don't want a guy who's going to fucking give up.
51:22Like, I don't know. That's fine. I get that.
51:24That is totally fair. Like, oh, you have some fucking like hard times.
51:28Let's just give up. Like that's, that's great. You know who knows a little bit about that?
51:32Mike Vrabel. He's not giving up in hard times.
51:35You know what I mean? Neither is AJ Brown.
51:37Yeah, maybe that'll rub off on AJ Brown. Match made in heaven.
51:41I, this is, again, this is to be clear.
51:43It's not like I dislike AJ Brown this year.
51:46I'm just not quite ready to turn my key as like, this is the guy.
51:50That's the point of this exercise. I get it.
51:52And to be clear, AJ Brown does have the issues.
51:55I just think it's more about how he'll, like the Rams didn't trade for AJ Brown because he has the issues.
52:01I think that's more about giving him a fourth contract than it is like the next four years than like this year.
52:07So I get it. But I, I'm all, I love AJ Brown.
52:10I haven't had a Nico Collins. I haven't been at Drake London.
52:13It's the rule we said at the beginning of the year.
52:16Say the whole guy's team. I'm taking AJ Brown with Drake May and Josh McDaniels over Drake London with Tua Tungo Vailoa
52:22and Kevin Stefanski or Nico Collins and CJ Stroud and Nick Caley.
52:26I'm taking AJ Brown. But I get, if you don't, speaking of AJ Brown though, the other guy was Devonta Smith for the Eagles.
52:32Craig, we were talking about him and I'm curious, are you turning your key on Devonta Smith?
52:37I like Devonta Smith. I've decided that I'm in on this situation.
52:40Basically, the question is if the Eagles offense is even just above average again, Devonta Smith has to be a huge winner
52:46and want to be one of the best picks in fantasy.
52:49If you look at basically every time Devonta Smith plays without AJ Brown, he's a top 10 receiver in fantasy.
52:55The Eagles this year have the second easiest passing schedule for 2026, according to Sharp Football.
52:59I'm kind of just like, that's kind of where my mind stops.
53:02I'm like, okay, if the offense is just back to normal ish, there's no AJ Brown anymore.
53:07I don't feel threatened by any other wide receiver on the team.
53:10Don't overthink it. She'll our esteemed colleague. She'll had this great stat the other day since 2022 Devonta Smith has run 252 routes.
53:17So roughly nine games with AJ Brown off the field.
53:19So he's averaged 2.6 yards per route run on those in those games, nine games, which is 99th percentile.
53:25The only receiver is better than that last year where Puka Nakua and Jason.
53:28But do you think that continues with Jalen Hurts?
53:31Like, cause that includes a data set from when the offense was absolutely humming like three or four years ago.
53:36Sure. And so it's just more that he's a very good receiver.
53:40And in, in, and if things break right for the Eagles, that could really translate to fantasy points less than I think
53:46he's going to be the third best receiver in the NFL.
53:49You know what I mean? I just think that shows that he's really good.
53:53I don't know if I'm going to turn my key because it's the reverse.
53:56Everything makes sense about this. And again, if you, who actually has narratively the most in common with Jackson Smith and Jigba
54:02this year from last year, it's Devonta Smith where AJ Brown's traded and then Devonta Smith steps up and he's like an unquestionably talented guy.
54:09The question to me is just a ref. It's just a referendum on if you think Jalen Hurts will be good this year at the Sean Mannion offense.
54:17This like this will work. Then Devonta Smith's it.
54:19My question for you, Craig, is if the first, if we get to halftime of week one and Jalen Hurts is like three completions for 18 yards.
54:27I want to jump off a bridge. Yeah. I'll give that to my fear is like, if I'm being like, and again,
54:33I know a lot of people think I'm down on Jalen Hurts.
54:36And so if you think that I'm wrong about that, then you should take Devonta Smith, but I'm a little worried.
54:42I'm lying to myself and I'm forcing myself to believe this, but my heart, my, if I'm being honest, my heart is
54:48not in this, but my head is totally fair.
54:50I totally get it. I surprised myself betting on Jalen Hurts after what I experienced with AJ Brown last year.
54:56But I, I, I'm trying to be rational. I'm trying to not let my heart influence me and be like, look, look
55:02at what am I looking at here? This is a quarterback who I believe is good.
55:06This is a wide receiver who I know is good.
55:09And this is an offense that should be much better than the disaster with Kevin Petula last year.
55:14I'm like, and AJ Brown's gone. I'm like, don't overthink that.
55:17But also the second I let emotion creep in, I'm like, bail, run, scramble.
55:21This is a mess. Don't do it. Maybe. See, I cut, the more I think about it, the more I do think
55:27that just moving Devonta around the formation everywhere, I'm like, they'll be able to get him the ball.
55:32DK, where are you at? I'm a key turn on this.
55:35I like him. I think I've loved him ever since he was coming out of college.
55:39And I think he's just an amazing talent. And even though the Eagles like don't throw very much is that's kind of
55:45one of my worries, but I just think they're efficient.
55:48They could be efficient enough where it doesn't really matter.
55:51I mean, if you look at the Seahawks, they had the Seahawks last year had the literal lowest pass rate in the
55:57NFL and JSN did what he did. Not that I'm saying, I think Hertz can do what Darnold did necessarily from a passing point of view.
56:04But I just think focal point of the offense, really good player.
56:07I want to bet on that. I want to bet on the breakout with AJ Brown gone.
56:12I just I saw the stat this morning that Jalen Hertz.
56:15I mean, I found this stat, but Jalen Hertz from shotgun has 3000 dropbacks in his career and under center Jalen Hertz has 150 dropbacks.
56:22Also everywhere. He's just throwing interceptions left and right, I guess, in camp.
56:25But like, yeah, so I get it. Your heart's not in it.
56:28I don't. Yeah, they're featuring it on their social media.
56:31Did you see that? Oh, because the defense intercepted him and they're like just throwing.
56:35Dude, you got to protect your quarterbacks. Yeah, I think it doesn't.
56:39What is your heart's not there? Yeah. What do we do if I'm like every intellectual argument I can make is like, this is great.
56:45But my heart is like, if I had one team and I'm like, do I want to want to Smith to fall to me in the third round?
56:53I'm lying. I don't. I don't want that to happen.
56:56All right. Not a key turn. Totally fair. OK, I feel like I betrayed you.
57:00DK, another receiver turnkey nomination. I'm going with Stefan Diggs commanders.
57:03I think he's this is another bet on year after the year after type of deal with a ACL injury.
57:08Like he came off of an ACL tear last year at 32 years old.
57:12He was still one of the top receivers in the NFL in a lot of like advanced categories, targets per route run.
57:18One of them. So he had 102 targets, 85 catches over a thousand yards before touchdowns last year.
57:23And again, this is a 32 year old coming off of an ACL like now that he is held fully healthy theoretically
57:29and kind of back up to speed in an offense.
57:32I think it's going to be concentrated between two pass catchers.
57:35It's Terry McLaurin and Stefan Diggs. Basically, everybody else is going to be a very much a role player in this offense.
57:41You got Antonio Williams, the rookie who has not really done a whole lot in camp yet.
57:46I mean, I think he's flashed, but he was playing really deep into the into the first preseason game.
57:51Usually that means he's not going to be like a huge part of the offense early on.
57:56I think Traylon Burks is going to be sort of a role player.
57:59You got Chicka Conco role player. I think it's going to be Diggs and McLaurin.
58:03And if you're buying that the commanders can make a big upgrade from what they did last year, which I do think
58:09they're not going to be what they were 2024 necessarily.
58:12But I do think there'll be a lot better than they were last year.
58:16And I think there's meat on the bone there for fantasy production.
58:19I think Diggs is going to get a lot of it.
58:22There's also a world in which Diggs outscores McLaurin, who's just way more expensive.
58:26Yeah. I'm turning my key on Diggs for all those.
58:29I agree with Diggs. What about you, Craig? I don't think I can get there.
58:33Just too old or what is it like? You just don't trust the offense?
58:37Yeah. To be honest, the commander's offensive line is like falling apart.
58:40I don't know. I don't know if the vibes in Washington are great.
58:44Stefan Diggs is going to be 33 in November.
58:46I don't know. For some reason, I can't get there.
58:49There are other guys going around him, around pick 100, that I think I'd be a little bit more interested in.
58:55A couple of them will come up later in the show.
58:58But yeah, I don't know if I can fully get there with Diggs.
59:01Okay. All right. Well, that's the answer. Who are you in on?
59:04Another turnkey receiver nomination. Can we just go quickly through Luther Burden?
59:08Is the answer yes or no for you guys?
59:10What's his... Where is he getting... Where are you drafting him right now?
59:14Where is he getting drafted? I'll take him fifth overall.
59:16Like third round? Fourth round? Yeah. His ADP is like fourth round.
59:20What is he doing now? Because again, him being banged up might actually help because he has this groin thing.
59:25He's going... I mean, look. Best ball, he's going 55th now.
59:28If you look at Fantasy Pro's ADP, he's going like 43rd.
59:31So like fourth, fifth round. Fifth, sixth round. I have him as a fourth rounder.
59:35Look, I just think he has the potential to be a Monroe St.
59:39Brown, but like twitchier. And he's the definition of upside.
59:42Ben Johnson loves him. He has a groin injury.
59:44With that said, he hurt his groin like 32 days before their first game.
59:48And they said that they expect him to be ready.
59:51It almost seems like it's slightly precautionary. So I don't want to overthink that like you just hear the word injury and you're out.
59:57Like I think the Emeka Abuka toe injury is much more worrisome than the Luther Burden groin injury to me.
60:03I'm turning the key. I think there's a world in which we look back halfway through the season and we're like, man,
60:09I'm glad he got hurt in the preseason and his ADP dropped by a round or two.
60:13I think he is like... If Ibuka were healthy, I would put him in this category as well.
60:18But like week one, he has eight catches for 120 yards and a touchdown.
60:22And you're like, well, yeah. I just think there is a world in which Luther Burden...
60:27I'm pretty sure there's a strong chance Luther Burden is one of the stories of the season.
60:31Yeah, I'll turn my key on Luther Burden for that reason as well.
60:35It's not hard to picture. I also think in addition to everything we've said of the Bears offense and everything, well, the
60:41Bears are one of those teams to me that not just say they want to run the ball, but actually philosophically do
60:47want to run the ball the same way like the Eagles want to do it.
60:51But the difference to me is I think the Bears might actually be a Bengals or Cowboys team this year or closer
60:57to that because I think there's a chance the Bears defense is so bad that they are constantly throwing.
61:02And I know that kind of happened last year, but I think it might happen again because the Bears front seven is terrible.
61:09It's probably the worst of any team that might make the playoffs.
61:12And the secondary is very banged up for August 20th.
61:15And it's very thin. And I kind of don't think the Bears are going to be able to stop anyone at defense.
61:21And I think that there's going to be a lot of passing and Luther Burden will be a big part of it.
61:27So of the Bears options, I think Burden, yes.
61:29And then I think Loveland at tight end. And I think Adunze is the odd man out, right?
61:34I wanted to ask you guys about Adunze because he's now getting to the point where he's like a seventh, eighth round pick.
61:40Before Adunze got hurt last year, he was the wide receiver three overall.
61:44He had five touchdowns in four weeks and he was kind of cooking.
61:47And I can't tell if I just like them all.
61:50I might just like all of them. The question is, are we going to double down?
61:55This is really what we need to talk about.
61:57Are we turning key on the Bears as a whole?
62:00Because there's almost Swift, Burden, Adunze. Or we're going against the Madden curse.
62:03We have to just call a spade a spade here.
62:06Any other team, Madden cover, we'd be a little nervous.
62:09Suddenly we're in a Madden commercial and now we're like, this Madden team is going to be fine.
62:14Are we higher on supply? One Madden commercial and you can't shut up about the Bears.
62:18I'm half kidding, but I'm like, if the Bears have a season from hell, we're like, oh, right.
62:23Caleb's on the cover of Madden. But that's all I got.
62:26I don't really believe in a curse. I don't believe in curses.
62:29I don't know. I just I'm looking at I agree with Craig.
62:33I want to I want every piece of this.
62:35All right. We're turning key on Burden. Are you turning key on Adunze, DK?
62:39In the eighth round? Yes. OK. Are you? Wait, did you officially turn your key on Burden?
62:44Yes. OK. So now we're two out of three on Adunze.
62:47How are you feeling about that? I do, Craig, to kind of echo what you said.
62:51I'm not turning my key on Adunze because Scott Barrett has a great stat that I think Adunze, if you look at
62:57what is it, it's yards per target per outrun.
63:00Yeah, yards per. He's the least efficient receiver. He's high variance.
63:03It's the throws that Caleb has struggled the most with.
63:05The bet is that the Bears want to fucking explode.
63:08They want haymakers. And Roma Adunze is going to be the guy who might benefit the most from that if they're good at that.
63:15Like if Caleb Williams improves his game with deep crossers and the deep ball and explosive plays, it's going to be Roma
63:21Adunze is the biggest beneficiary of that. The offense ran through him early in the year last year.
63:26I just want them all. I think Loveland's the only one who's really expensive.
63:29I mean, Luther burden is pretty expensive too, but Roma Adunze is the cheapest way to get involved in this offense, I guess I would say.
63:37Chronic foot injury. It's highest variance. We're turning our key on a guy with a chronic foot injury?
63:41Well, he's not hurt right now. He's playing fine.
63:44I'm giving you a burden. I'm not giving you Adunze.
63:47My heart's not in it. All right. We turned our key on Ibuka who has a foot injury.
63:52Bitch. I mean, I'm just saying. You didn't have Roma Adunze in the ringer league down the stretch trying to win playoffs last year with his team.
63:59I love that Roma Adunze is fully practicing every day and Heifetz is like the foot injury.
64:04No, thanks. Ibuka's out for a month and he's like.
64:06With his groin. Fine. I'll pull my key on Ibuka.
64:09Is that what you want? It's up to you.
64:12I don't care. I'll still take him. This is for the listeners to know who we all endorse.
64:17Yes. Burden is the straw that stirs the drink for the offense or hope is what we're thinking.
64:22And that's why I want to take him. Yeah.
64:24Okay. Craig, I think last year you phrased it in this same show.
64:28You were basically like, this is these are the players who if you recommend them to a friend and they still don't
64:34work out, you don't feel bad about it. Yeah.
64:36Yeah. And I think that I think burden absolutely fits that because he could be.
64:40I'm happy to go down top the burden. Top eight receiver or something like that.
64:44Because I just so believe in the talent and the scheme.
64:47And it. Speaking of which, a perfect DK, one of the guys you had mentioned was Josh Downs.
64:52Yeah. Receiver for the Colts. I think it's a perfect exercise for this.
64:56And I'm curious. Are you turning your key on him?
64:59Because we haven't we haven't talked about him a lot.
65:01It's a good time to mention that the Colts just signed Keenan Allen.
65:05Yeah. Keenan Allen. Tyler Warren, the tight end, is out for at least a week with a groin injury.
65:10He's going to miss a week of practice. Yeah.
65:12It sounds like the Warren injury is not super serious from the early indications.
65:16He's just going to be. While we're at Alec Pierce, the receiver is not practicing still from an ankle injury.
65:22He had a surgery headed March. So sorry. So.
65:24A lot going on. People are going to be a little.
65:27I think people could be scared off of Josh Downs because of Keenan Allen.
65:31And I think what we saw last year where he affected the target rate for Lad McConkie and and Quentin Johnson.
65:37I think that is a valid point. But Josh Downs, the key with him is just is he going to be playing in two receiver sets?
65:44Is he going to play enough? Is the big question.
65:47And it sounds like the Colts have him in their plans as a guy who's playing on the outside and two receiver sets.
65:53He's going to be on the field way more than he was last year.
65:57The problem was last year. He was just only on the field when they had three receiver sets.
66:02He played in the slot 75 percent of the time.
66:05And I think what he's done in his career, he's shown he's a good player.
66:09He if you look at the numbers just when he was playing outside last year, he had 22 percent target per route
66:15run rate, which is a really solid number for an outside receiver, even though he's only five nine, like 175 or something like that.
66:21But he's just one of those guys that really good route runner, really tough, great hands can run after the catch.
66:27I think he's just underrated for how good he is.
66:30And you can get him really late. Obviously, he's the wide receiver 44 right now, according to ADP.
66:35So you can get him late. But I do think if he the the equation here, the calculus here is, can he play more?
66:41Will he play more? And if he does, I think he's going to go off.
66:45I don't get the Josh Downs thing. I'm going to tell you right now, I'm not turning my key.
66:51And I think he's it's nothing against you. I think he's the most popular player among fantasy analysts that I don't get what I imagine.
66:57That's how people look at me with Jaden Reed.
67:00He's like the new Elijah Moore. Yeah. You know how many you know how many times Josh Downs had 70 yards last year?
67:06He played the entire season. Sorry, 16 games. How many times he broke 70 yards?
67:10Not out of my head. Zero. OK. And I'm like, that's that's that's a low number.
67:15Yeah. Well, it's just one of those where I'm like, I love to come out and be like better than the greatest show on turf Rams.
67:22They did that. They didn't even have 70 yards in the game one time.
67:26I know. That's why I already explained it. He isn't playing enough.
67:29I know. This is the equation. Why do you think he's ranked 44th?
67:33I know. And I get it because he's talented and he's young and I get it.
67:37I just like I don't get it. I would.
67:39I don't. I will turn my key on it.
67:42I am in support of it. But it has to be this year.
67:45If it's going to happen, it has to be this year for Josh Downs.
67:49You're not doing it next year. I hate that Keenan Allen's there.
67:53He's like a bad cold for fantasy wide receivers, dude.
67:55He was on the Bears two years ago. The Chargers last year.
67:59He's just like ruined shit for fantasy upside. But no Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce is hurt.
68:03Josh Downs. I'm willing to I'm willing to pick that guy outside of the top 100.
68:08No Alec Pierce. No Michael Pittman. Sure. Yeah, I just he's just not going to be under my teams.
68:13And if he's the skeleton. He's a dollar. He's a dollar in auction leagues.
68:17Okay. Throw throw a buck on him. If he's a dollar.
68:20Sure. But he usually goes higher. I think I think I did an auction draft this weekend and he went for a dollar.
68:26I could be wrong. Well, go ahead. Make me feel like one or two dollars.
68:30It's a dollar. This one could be short. Christian Watson receiver Packers.
68:33I'm turning my key. Big yes for me. DK in or out.
68:37I am out. Oh, really? He's just not a player I'm confident in.
68:40Are you serious? I actually broke my heart. He's probably really good.
68:44I mean, it's just one of those things where I don't trust him to stay healthy.
68:48Is this out of spite because Heifetz didn't turn his key on Josh?
68:51I think it is. Not at all. Not at all.
68:54You need to be objective. Shocked. This is just like how you didn't like Kingpin.
68:58I went into this completely unbiased. Okay. And I still can't get behind the Christian Watson thing for whatever reason.
69:04In 13 games, he's played above 75% of the routes.
69:07He, or of the snaps, he is the wide receiver six overall.
69:10When the man plays, he delivers. I got to tell you, there is no player that when I do mock drafts at
69:16any platform, I am more consistently on my team than Christian Watson.
69:19Don Tavianwix is gone. Romeo Dubs is gone. It is now going to be Watson, Jaden Reed, and the second year guy,
69:25Matthew Golden, and the tight end, Tucker Craft, who's going to be on a bit of a pitch count.
69:30And it depends on your platform, too. ESPN, I think Christian Watson is like the best value on the entire platform.
69:36Christian Watson somehow is behind Alec Pierce on ESPN's rankings.
69:39And Alec Pierce hasn't even practiced yet. He's higher on other platforms.
69:42But I just, all right, DK. I mean, I think he's a good, I think he's a talented, talented player.
69:48He's nice. But he. Yeah, he's a nice guy.
69:50Just like hurt too much. I don't know. It's just one of those, he's highly volatile is what scares me off with him.
69:56All right. Let me hit you with this. Quentin Johnson, Chargers, is a massive turnkey guy for me.
70:01I think there is a small chance that he just outscores Lad McConkie on the Chargers.
70:06I think he fits very well with Mike McDaniel.
70:08He's still going outside the top 100. I think he's going to score the most touchdowns, catch the most touchdowns on the Chargers this year.
70:15He is one of my favorite late round wide receiver picks.
70:18He's getting better every year. What do we think?
70:21I'm turning my key on that just because of what you say.
70:24He's out the top 100 and I just, the Chargers, Mike McDaniel.
70:27Like Quentin Johnson, I'd rather have than Josh Downs because I think there's a much better chance Quentin Johnson ends up as a top 10 receiver.
70:34With Herbert and McDaniel than Josh Downs does with Daniel Jones.
70:37I mean, just last year alone, if you take away the injured games, Quentin Johnson's the wide receiver 19.
70:42He was 11th in red zone targets. And I think he has a little bit of stink on him because of the slow start to his career.
70:50Like Quentin Johnson is not a name that jumps off the board when you're in a draft.
70:55I keep, whenever I picture the Quentin Johnson thing, you know those scenes from Anchorman where he's like, the guy can't even
71:01talk and he did it and he got a comeback in.
71:04The guy who can't even talk said something. I just like, the guy who can't catch?
71:08That's the one you want? The receiver? No, I'm absolutely all in on this too.
71:12I think he's been beat up way more than he should be based on like his alligator arm catching style.
71:18He's, he in this offense could be the run after catch guy.
71:21You know, they're going to scheme up ways to get him the football.
71:24I think he's going to score a lot of touchdowns.
71:27I think he's an awesome sleeper. Also, I think, I think it's the guy who can't think said something.
71:32Even the guy who can't think said something. Brick.
71:35Wes Mantooth. Even the guy who can't think said something.
71:38Wes Mantooth. All time. All time name. Wes Mantooth.
71:40Mrs. Mantooth. Next one. DJ Moore, receiver for the Bills.
71:43A guy that's pretty, the rare player that's not loved in real life or in fantasy completely separately.
71:48I'm turning my key. I just think it's actually like overlapping bias.
71:51It's just really cheap for someone that's going to be the clear number one receiver on a team that the Bills are
71:57expected to be top three in points. And that's really rare to just have a number one receiver around a bunch of number four receivers.
72:04Not that's me and Khalil Shakir. But the clear focal point of the offense passing game on a team that's supposed to
72:10like be top three in points is just like you can get them in the sixth or seventh round.
72:15I did the thing six, seven. So I'm turning, I'm turning my key.
72:19I just think it's too much DJ Moore bias.
72:21It's a thumbs up from me, dog. DK? I watched three plays in the Bills preseason game and I'm all in.
72:27All right. And then he hurt his ankle. Then he got rolled up on.
72:31Dijon Stribling, rookie receiver for the Niners. He's going, it depends, outside the top 100.
72:35I think this is easy. I am buying the hype.
72:38I'm fine as a flyer, yeah. I don't want to get like, yeah.
72:41Yeah, he's late. Late-term key. I mean, he could be the number two receiver on this team.
72:46I'll turn the key. And since we're talking, if you have to type it into your app, it's D apostrophe Z-H-A-U-N, which sometimes it's Stribling with a B.
72:53Like sometimes you can't find them if you don't type it in.
72:57Last one I want to ask you about, Cyrus Allen, the receiver for the Chiefs, who again, we're talking about the last pick.
73:03There will be kickers and defenses taken before him.
73:06But if you talk about, if you had to make me pick a receiver at sleep, like it's hard to find late,
73:12late, late round receivers in the draft. I would love Jaden Higgins.
73:15There's a chance to be Cyrus Allen's real. And I basically, it's like the last pick, it's kind of getting ahead of waivers in week one.
73:22Yeah. I don't think this will happen, but if Cyrus Allen is starting for the Chiefs in week one, which I don't
73:28think is going to happen, but I could see him being better.
73:31If he plays a lot and pops in week one, that's the kind of player you want on your team already.
73:37That's not on waivers. I've seen enough from Cyrus Allen where I think it might be possible because they need juice.
73:43And so I'm, I'm actually, I'm endorsing him as like a Jonah Coleman-esque.
73:46Just have them on your team and wait two weeks into the season and see what happens.
73:51It's hard for me to be like, no, for a guy who's going outside of the top 200 right now.
73:57It has to be for, if you would do it on your teams, not just you think it makes sense for my team.
74:03Would you do that on your team? Last pick in the draft, I would, I would totally take him.
74:08But like, here's what I'll say. If you have a draft in a week and your league is like full of guys
74:14who really pay attention and he's going for like 10 bucks or he's going like the 12th round, I would probably say no to that.
74:21If he becomes like kind of a hot commodities, like $8.
74:24How many, how many, how many dollars? Seven, eight bucks or something.
74:27If people are like. No, no, he's $1. No, he's, he's the last spot on your bench.
74:32I feel like you didn't listen to anything I was just saying.
74:35I'm saying if you are in a league, look, my league, my high school league, Cyrus Allen's not going to go for a dollar.
74:42He's probably going to go for like four or five because somebody wants to get in on that and not just let
74:48like the end of the draft, you can just get them for free.
74:51Someone's going to like upbid him. The question is, would you upbid somebody for Cyrus Allen?
74:56That's the question. No. And that's, you're right. That's the right question.
74:59And no, probably not. Like it's one of those, like one, two, sure.
75:03You're right that the number is four. If it's three, if it's four, if it's five, it's six.
75:08Like, are you doing that? No, I would. It's, he's the guy that I'm hoping Cyrus Allen.
75:12We need a word for this. It's the guy that you nominate for $1 and you're just sitting there hoping that all
75:1820 seconds tick off and no one hits the button.
75:21That's what he is. See, I think he's the, but the moment somebody will upbid him, I'm like, shit.
75:26I don't think he'll go for a dollar. Depending on your league.
75:29I don't think he'll go for a dollar, but.
75:32Well, we'll see. That's the time it. So what, what, where'd we land?
75:35Is that a turnkey on? I think it's not.
75:38Last round. Okay. I think it's a $1 turnkey.
75:40Sure. So let's just, you know, put him in that category where it's like, depends.
75:45I mean, to be clear, he's not rich. Like ESPN, he's not ranked.
75:48Like when you go to the top 300. I don't really, I don't buy some of this stuff.
75:53Like, because it's like the people who are paying attention to Cyrus Allen is all over social media.
75:58If you are in a league where people are following the league, he's going to get drafted.
76:03I understand. So that's what I was. So I think it's not a turnkey.
76:06I think that's the answer. Sorry. I feel like now it sounds like I'm angry, but I'm not.
76:11No, I get it because it's a wide variety of leagues.
76:14I'm not offended. No, I'm offended by Christian Watson.
76:17That bothered me. Before the football season begins, every team is undefeated.
76:20Every fan believes this could be the year. The year their team wins the division, makes the playoffs, lifts the trophy.

76:37The Broncos are 20 to one to win the Super Bowl.
76:40I don't really understand that because the Broncos made the AFC championship game last year, should have won, but Bo Nix got
76:46injured and then kept the entire team. And now they're 20 to one.
76:50That doesn't really make any sense to me because the Broncos probably are going to have the second best defense in the AFC.
76:56See, I just how do the Broncos have the same Super Bowl odds as the Packers?
77:01That doesn't make any sense. Like the Packers would be really weird if they made the Super Bowl or at least surprising.
77:07The Broncos, it would be super normal. So the Broncos are 20 to one.
77:11It just feels mispriced. So get your football future bets in today on FanDuel.

77:40Let's do quarterback. I need to say no to Malik Willis and Kyler Murray.
77:44Let's go. Let me tell you why that's stupid.
77:47Let's go one at a time. Do you want to start with Kyler or Malik Willis?
77:51No, because to me, this is pick one. Pick one of Kyler Murray or Malik Willis.
77:56Also, I'm just kidding. Maybe I'll say yes. I don't know.
77:59Late in the draft, pick one of Kyler Murray or Malik Willis.
78:02Don't leave a draft without Kyler Murray or Malik Willis.
78:05Here's why. It's the deepest, and this is specific, by the way, to one quarterback leagues.
78:09I'm not talking about Superflex. That's a different conversation.
78:11One quarterback leagues, there is zero downside to taking either Kyler Murray or Malik Willis late in your draft.
78:17This is one of the deepest years we've had at quarterback.
78:20There's a million guys that you could feel fine about if we go one or two weeks and Kyler Murray and Malik
78:26Willis suck or one of them gets benched. You can stream quarterbacks the rest of the year, be totally fine.
78:31Jared Goff, Matt Stafford, Jordan Love, whoever you want.
78:34Tyler Shuck. You can be totally fine with those guys, but you want to chase the upside of Malik Willis and Kyler Murray because they run.
78:41Heifetz bitches about the running thing constantly. He's always bitching about it.
78:44What? No, I've seen it. He's always bitching about it.
78:47He's always trying to change the rules of the sport we love.
78:50I'm just actually trying to protect the rules, but it's fine.
78:53I'll start with Murray. Matthew Barry had some really basic but actually super compelling stats in his 100 facts column at Fantasy Life this week.
79:00Since 2020, the top four quarterbacks in fantasy points per game are Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Kyler Murray.
79:06Dating back to 2019, there's four quarterbacks with 15 plus fantasy points every single season.
79:10Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Kyler Murray.
79:12Just looking at the points scored. If Kyler's playing, he's going to be scoring points because he runs around.
79:17He scrambles a lot. This is a good offense.
79:20Kevin O'Connell, I trust him. He has Justin Jefferson.
79:22I mean, basically every other offense that Kevin O'Connell has been play calling for, every other quarterback other than J.J.
79:28McCarthy, it's been awesome. So I think there's really no downside in taking Murray, even if you think he sucks.
79:33This is fantasy we're talking about. I agree with every word you said, DK.
79:37I'm turning my key on Kyler and Malik Willis, and I'm surprised that you're not, Craig.
79:42And I'm curious why. I think it's not really true that when you're like, oh, you could just stream Tyler Shuck or Matt Stafford.
79:48I don't think that's right. Like, I think people draft two quarterbacks, even if you start one, and all those guys are going to be on the bench.
79:56And so I don't necessarily think that it's like, if Kyler doesn't work out, you can just get someone great.
80:01Don't buy that. I don't know. I'm skeptical about Kyler Murray.
80:04I think he's also creeping up. Like, 80 best ball, he's like the QB 12 right now going in drafts.
80:10That's a little high. Like... Is it? I think that's perfect.
80:13That's exactly where I have him in rankings is 12.
80:16I think you... If you're drafting Kyler Murray, you're going to have to draft another quarterback, like a Jackson Dart, to like have insurance.
80:22And you're then giving up like, I don't know, Roma Dunze is going right next to Kyler Murray.
80:27DJ Moore, Parker Washington. But a year ago on this episode, I believe you were talking about how Drake May is a great guy.
80:34And we were saying Drake May was high at 12.
80:36And we were like, fuck it, put him at nine because of the rushing.
80:40Kyler Murray, what's the difference between Kyler and Drake May?
80:43And I know that sounds crazy, but I'm like, Kyler ran for 550 yards like two years ago.
80:48I'm much less confident in Kyler Murray than Drake May, to be honest.
80:51That's fair. And again, I understand. In real life, I'd rather have Drake May.
80:55I guess my question is that Kyler and Willis, and I think this is your point, DK, they're the last quarterbacks that could have massive rushing seasons.
81:03Right? Everyone after them is like not really... It's like Jordan Love, who's quietly not a rusher.
81:07It's Matt Stafford. It's Mahomes put off an ACL, so we don't know how much he's going to run.
81:13And so I think DK's point is it doesn't matter who they are.
81:16It's just that the last guys left that could run for hundreds and hundreds of yards and half a dozen touchdowns.
81:22And everyone else that Baker Mayfield, Jared Goff, Jordan Love, Tyler Shuck is indistinguishable.
81:26And I think it's a supply-demand thing. So that's why I agree with DK.
81:30I get that they might not work, but it's like, all right, grab Jared Goff and pair him with them.
81:35Here's my problem. They're the prototypes for late-round quarterback process.
81:38Like the Malik Willis thing, I don't like having to be like, well, maybe Justin Fields could be the QB5.
81:43I don't like doing that. That's not a fun experiment to me, drafting a guy who I don't think is good.
81:49Kyler Murray, I also just have question marks about.
81:52I don't know. I think I'd rather just like get Trevor Lawrence two rounds earlier and live my life.
81:57Have you had the same lived experience as Craig where he's not buying that you could stream quarterback in a 12-team one quarterback league?
82:03It's a really good question because— Because that's not really been my experience, to be honest.
82:08I think— When we do this ringer league draft versus a single QB in a week, Tyler Shuck is not going to
82:14be on the waiver wire, I promise. Matt Stafford is not going to be on the waiver wire, I promise.
82:19No, Stafford, no. I agree with Craig in that.
82:22I do think, not just our show, but I think most fantasy analysts underrate—everybody rosters two quarterbacks.
82:26Unless you have like five benches, like most people roster a backup quarterback.
82:30It's like a psychological— That hasn't been my experience at all.
82:33You don't think Patrick Mahomes is going to get drafted this year?
82:36Of course— Yeah, maybe not Mahomes. Bill Simmons, until two years ago when we bullied him out of it, would have four,
82:42sometimes five quarterbacks in a one-quarterback league. Like, people like quarterbacks.
82:45But we have— I mean, look, we have Mahomes as our 16th-ranked quarterback or something.
82:49Like, that implies that he might not get drafted.
82:52Like, there's no way. No, I think Craig's just right on this because I'm in a bunch of redraft leagues, and I
82:58am—I think DK probably scrolling through every—like a sicko.
83:00Everybody's teams for— The quarterbacks you will be able to add is like Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, maybe Sam Darnold.
83:06Those are going to be the types of guys you can add, in my opinion.
83:10I think that's true. Having said that, I still think DK's point is valid in that the point—but Craig, I think you're right about that.
83:17But I think it makes DK's point more important because the point being, there's not a huge difference between streaming Aaron Rodgers and streaming Darnold.
83:24Like, if everyone has two quarterbacks, then you get two quarterbacks, and they should probably both be mobile.
83:29And I think that's the point is you have Trevor Lawrence and Kyler.
83:32If you have Trevor Lawrence and Malik Willis, the odds that you have like a great quarterback, it's just higher because the
83:38replacement level is like— There's not a huge difference between Jared Goff and Sam Darnold on a given week.
83:43Yeah, I'm probably more willing to draft Kyler than I would be Malik Willis, but I would still rather just have like
83:49Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence, a Dak, maybe even a round or two earlier than those guys.
83:54And then I can just draft like Tyler Shuck later rather than have to spend two kind of like mid-round picks on
84:00Jackson Dart and Kyler Murray when I could be taking guys like Quentin Johnston and Parker Washington and Roma Dunes and DJ Moore's in that range.
84:07Okay, so can I blow your mind though? What platform are you drafting on with your friends?
84:12Yahoo and Sleeper. So Yahoo and Sleeper, Willis, are within eight picks of each other.
84:16And believe it or not, Tyler Shuck is going—I mean, on Sleeper, Malik Willis.
84:20And again, I know the draft room when you open the room, Tyler Shuck's 170 and Malik Willis is 193.
84:25That's all well and good. My lived experience is like—the leagues I'm in, and again, this is not everybody, but like the
84:31people I play with are pretty up-to-date on stuff.
84:33Like just because they see Malik Willis where he is does not mean he's going to go where he is.
84:39Same with Kyler Murray. Like people understand who is hyped up and who's not.
84:43They have their own lists. I'm not going to fight you on Malik Willis.
84:47I think he's a patsy. He's like going to be the fall guy for a— This is hilarious.
84:52Are you not allowing me to not turn my key on Kyler Murray?
84:55No, well, no, it's interesting. I think when we talk it out, the people listening, I think, get to like decide where they fall on it.
85:02I don't think it's—I'm not trying to change your mind.
85:05I think it's—the daylight's important because people get to decide where you are.
85:09I think the difference is like to me and Craig, I will allow you to not turn my key on.
85:14Thank you. I'm going to let you do that.
85:17But I think the difference is the way that you're saying you don't want to spend a pick on Dart and Malik
85:23Willis or Kyler Murray is that I'm saying don't do that.
85:26I'm saying just take Kyler Murray or Malik Willis late.
85:28And then you get another guy, like you were saying, like the Roma Doones days of the world.
85:33Get one of those guys earlier in draft. Stream Kyler or Malik.
85:37And then—or sorry, not stream, but start Kyler or Malik.
85:39If they suck, you can drop them. And sure, maybe I was being overeager with Shuck, even though Shuck is like the QB 20 in ADP right now.
85:47Like go with CJ Stroud. Go with Sam Darnold.
85:49See, that makes me incredibly nervous. If I think Kyler Murray in the ninth round and then he's just not good and it's like Kyler Murray's a mess.
85:57And now I'm just—now the rest of my season I'm like crossing my fingers that Tyler Shuck works out.
86:02That sounds bad. This is the late-round quarterback life.
86:05You got to live it. I don't like it.
86:07You got to be— You're the first or last.
86:10Okay, so you figured it out. That's the answer.
86:12Craig just doesn't want to do that. No, no, no.
86:15No, no, no. I don't think—I don't know if Kyler—you know who I know is good?
86:19I think Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are good, and I feel that's dependable.
86:23And if I can take Dak Prescott instead of Kyler Murray, I'd probably just do that.
86:28Even if the ceiling's not as high, I feel more confident that Dak Prescott could be like the QB 6 most likely if he plays than Kyler Murray.
86:35I think Kyler Murray could be a disaster. I don't think Dak Prescott could be a disaster.
86:40So I'm fine with late-round quarterback. I don't need to take Josh Allen, but I'd probably rather have Dak Prescott, Brock Purdy,
86:46Trevor Lawrence, Caleb Williams, than I would Kyler. That still to me is later around quarterback.
86:50If you take Dak, would you take a backup quarterback?
86:53Yeah, sure, but I would wait. I would take Dak, who a guy I feel like stays healthy, I feel confident about
86:59his game, and then I would take whatever, Tyler Shuck or something as an insurance pick.
87:03And I'm not telling you to change your mind.
87:06The way I think of it is Dak is like a scramble in golf.
87:10Dak is kind of like your first drives on the fairway.
87:13And you're like, okay, we're going to take that ball.
87:15So the second drive, it's like free money. So then it's like Malik Willis.
87:19And you're like, yeah, I might hook this into the woods, but just in case I hit it 300.
87:25You know what I mean? That's the way I look at it.
87:28But yeah, I think the key to me is that the people listening just know how you feel about this going into your draft.
87:34That's why we talk about doing mock drafts and having tears is it's like if you're not comfortable having Kyler as your starter, then do what Craig's saying.
87:42I think that's the important point. I don't know.
87:45Just like know what you want. Dak Prescott's been a top five QB in the last three years.
87:49So I'm kind of like – and I'm confident that that offense will be good.
87:54All right. So to be clear, am I putting – so you are or not a turnkey?
87:58I can't tell for Kyler. Who do you want to turn your key on, Craig?
88:02I will respectfully pass on Kyler, although I'm not saying that it won't work out.
88:06I'm just saying I don't feel enough to turn my key and officially recommend it to somebody else.
88:11I mentioned Trevor Lawrence a bunch. I would like to highlight Trevor Lawrence.
88:15Now I feel – let's flush what just happened and try to – let's try to come into this objectively just because I'm pitching it, you know?
88:22Try to pretend this is coming from a stranger.
88:25Tell me a joke or something. Make me laugh.
88:27Then we'll get back to another. How is that?
88:30Okay. Trevor Lawrence going around QB9 in drafts. DK, can you remember how many games the Jags won last year?
88:3513 or 14? Yeah, they won 13. 13? The year before that, they won four.
88:39So Liam Cohen showed up and they went from four to 13.
88:43Yeah. I'm a big believer in year two with play callers.
88:46This is year two with Liam Cohen. Trevor Lawrence last year in the fantasy playoffs had the greatest fantasy playoffs in the history of quarterbacks.
88:53He averaged – he scored 99 points in three games in the fantasy playoffs.
88:56He was the QB6 last year straight up. But once they traded for Jacoby Myers in week 10, the Jaguars were a completely different team.
89:03They went 9-1. They were a league best plus 153 point differential.
89:06They scored the third most points in the league.
89:09And Trevor Lawrence was the QB2 after they traded for Jacoby Myers.
89:12I think they have like the deepest pass catching group in the league.
89:16I'm like Brian Thomas, Parker Washington, Jacoby Myers. Travis Hunter is their wide receiver four.
89:20Brenton Strange is a good tight end. Year two with Liam Cohen.
89:23Trevor Lawrence ran for nine touchdowns last year. You could say that is something that's going to regress.
89:28I see it as something they're willing to do and that he's capable of doing.
89:32And I'm kind of just like, fuck, man. If this guy's the ninth quarterback going off the board, I think he can win the MVP.
89:39This team could win 13, 14 games again. The offense is deep.
89:42Year two in the system. I like it. I wanted to give that stat with the nine rushing touchdowns as like a negative.
89:49And I do think there's a probable – it's probable that he will regress from that.
89:53But I will say from the designed rush point of view, Trevor Lawrence was fourth among quarterbacks in designed rushes, which is not nothing.
90:00I mean, he's just like – Liam Cohen quarterbacks usually run.
90:03Yeah. And it's not like there's like some Saquon Barkley running back that's going to take specialty carries away.
90:08It's like Trevor Lawrence is the biggest running back on the team.
90:11Lawrence had more designed rush attempts and more scrambles than Bo Nix.
90:14Trevor's an automatic turnkey for me on this. I think Trevor Lawrence is – I think in some ways my best case
90:20scenario is Trevor Lawrence falling to me as like the 11th quarterback in a draft.
90:25It's because no matter who it is, the 11th guy is going to be better than you think.
90:30I totally agree, Craig. I'm completely in on Lawrence.
90:32Craig, do you like Lawrence or Dak more? Because I think – aren't they kind of going in the same area?
90:38I like Lawrence more. I think you've got to have Lawrence higher because – I will turn my key on this.
90:44I'm going to turn my key on the confidence and being in Liam Cohen's offense.
90:48I think Trevor Lawrence, like Craig said, year two, the offense just growing and being better with more talent at receiver.
90:53Extremely – I have Lawrence as my fifth quarterback.
90:56I'm extremely high. I think I like this. Even though like we had this big argument about sort of like strategy in
91:02draft, I do really like Lawrence this year. Yeah.
91:04I mean, I love Lawrence. And to be clear, I'm not – I think we're all actually on a similar page because
91:10I think big picture what we're talking about is a great quarterback is going to go as the 10th quarterback.
91:16Like if Joe Burrow – if like top six guys are like Burrow, Hurts and up, Justin Herbert, Trevor Lawrence, Caleb Williams,
91:22Jackson Dart, Dak or Kyler, one of those will be the 11th or 12th quarterbacks available.
91:26Yeah. And that's just the way I look at Kyler.
91:29I'm like, yeah, I'll just wait for him to fall.
91:32Totally. But if Trevor Lawrence falls, I'm like, well, goddamn.
91:34I feel like we have a Caleb Williams too.
91:37My recommendation is like late-round quarterback is a good strategy.
91:40Just pick the late-round quarterback you personally like the most.
91:42Yeah. And I will say everything you said about Lawrence the second year, I do feel that way about Caleb Williams too.
91:48I'm a little afraid of recommending a quarterback in Chicago when the fantasy playoffs in December.
91:53But I just think Caleb is also like Lawrence, super mobile and just – they've been marinating in an amazing system for
91:59the offseason while everyone else is learning new systems.
92:01And I just – I think Lawrence and Caleb are like going to take a real-life leap.
92:06Yeah. I like that. On that note though, also Herbert.
92:09I would like to nominate Justin Herbert as a key turn.
92:12It's not complicated. Justin Herbert is the best quarterback who's ever played in the Kyle Shanahan, McVay-esque system that Mike McDaniel is implementing.
92:18And what is special about it and players love about it is how much it simplifies the game for everybody and allows people to play faster.
92:25And Herbert is the best ever at that. And he's the perfect mix of fast processor, arm talent.
92:30And also Herbert's way faster than people think. I'm worried about betting on the charges.
92:34A line did not melt. But I love Herbert this year.
92:37Totally agree. Full key turn. Love it. Yeah. Okay.
92:40I think Herbert and Lawrence are definitely targets in that area for me.
92:43All right. I was going to ask about Jackson Dart, but DK made his feelings known.
92:48So no Dart. The last one I want to ask him is Jalen Hurts as the sixth quarterback for a simple reason.
92:54For the past, we have talked about Jalen Hurts as the best mix of high floor, high ceiling on a weekly basis,
93:00a quarterback ever to play fantasy football. Well, he doesn't play.
93:03But for us, like basically if Josh Allen's the best quarterback since COVID season long, because he's always first or second.
93:08Hurts was basically, there was a stat. I think he had more games over 30 points than under 16.
93:14So my question is Jalen Hurts at six. Do you guys want to turn your key or not as the sixth quarterback?
93:20My brain says yes. My heart says no. It's like the Devontae Smith thing for you where I'm like, I just had such a bad time last year.
93:27But I agree. I mean, he was the QB seven last year and it was a miserable season.
93:32Turn the ball over twice in one play. So it's hard not to say I agree with you because the numbers bear it out every single year.
93:40So I guess I have to like remove my, separate my heart and my brain and go with my brain.
93:45So I guess I'll say yes. But, but I'm like slightly doing it against my will.
93:50I think I'm going to say no because I prefer waiting a couple rounds and just drafting a quarterback later.
93:55I agree DK. And I think he's like one of those guys where I agree with everything you guys are saying in
94:01terms of he's probably going to outplay his ADP like by a couple spots.
94:05I don't know if he'll be the QB one, but I think he's like guaranteed to score a bunch of rushing touchdowns
94:11and he's going to give you that floor. I know.
94:14The problem is I just think like I would rather draft another player where you're getting Jalen Hurts.
94:19I feel that way in theory makes sense. But if you look at the players around him, I keep thinking about Taco
94:25from the league who doesn't know anything and doesn't follow football that much and then wins every year in the league.
94:30And I just keep looking at Basial Tootin, who again is going to return kicks for the Jaguars, is going 10 picks
94:36before Jalen Hurts, who's like been one of the best fantasy quarterbacks ever and then had a down year.
94:42And now it's like, I don't know. I keep looking back at like if you could pick one player that the market
94:48is completely wrong on, I keep staring at Hurts.
94:50If the draft went exactly according to like the ADP that we're looking at here, like I do kind of agree with you.
94:56There's a lot of guys. So I guess here's your question.
94:59He fits for you. Not that you have to make this decision, but like Christian Watson's going a couple spots away from Jalen Hurts.
95:06Like who would you rather have on your team?
95:09So that's an example. That's a great example. If Christian Watson's still there, I'm taking Christian Watson because I'd rather have Christian Watson and wait on quarterback.
95:16Christian Watson, I will say in your defense is by far the best player in this like round.
95:21But if he's gone and it's Marvin Harrison Jr., I'm like at that point, just take Jalen Hurts.
95:26And I feel that way about Tucker Craft to tie down.
95:29I'd rather have Jalen Hurts. I want to read off some of these ADPs.
95:33Just this is based on the Yahoo, I think.
95:35It's on the Fantasy Pro. Sorry. Jane Daniels starts off the list.
95:38Harold Fannin, Ramondre, Roma Dunze, Rico Dowdle, Christian Watson, Janarian, Jalen Hurts, Hurts, Cardinal Tate, Pollard, Kraft, Parker Washington, Mononguy, Michael Wilson, Brian Thomas, Corlin Sutton, JK Dobbins.
95:46Like, yikes. Actually, I maybe do want Hurts right there.
95:49The only guys I want over him that you just said is Parker Washington.
95:53You could convince me on Jadarian Price, the running back for the Seahawks.
95:56And then I don't want the Steelers running backs.
95:59I don't want Jalen Warren or Rico Dowdle over Jalen Hurts.
96:02I'm like, you could convince me on, you know, maybe Ramondre Stevenson.
96:05But realistically, it's the receivers. Like, return on investment for all those guys?
96:09I think Hurts is probably going to be the best.
96:11It's just going to be so hard when Hurts is sitting there in, like, the seventh round.
96:16And I'm like, and I'm going to tell myself, like, this is a smart pick.
96:20You should draft Jalen Hurts. And I'm so not going to want to.
96:24And then I'm going to do it. And then they're going to suck week one.
96:28I'm going to be mad. There's a weird range where I don't like any of the players in, like, the 80s.
96:34And I just want them all to go away so that I can make picks later.
96:38And that's kind of where I want to take a quarterback.
96:41And Hurts is right around that range. Yeah, I do agree.
96:44I think I'm changing. I'm going to do a turnkey after looking at more ADP here.
96:48Is that cool? Can I do that? Sure. Of course.
96:51Whatever you want. All right. But Craig's still out, so it's okay.
96:54No, no. I didn't say that. I think Craig is there.
96:57We turned king on Hurts. Wow. I said my brain says yes.
97:01He's hot, and we turned the key on him.
97:03Fuck it. Yeah. Is he the hottest quarterback? Yeah, he's the hottest.
97:06We got to do the hot quarterback. Come on.
97:09We got to imagine. So our quarterbacks this year are Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert, and Jalen Hurts.
97:14I like that. I like that. Yeah. I don't mind it.
97:17Three of the hottest guys. All right. Tight end.
97:19Brock Bowers for the Raiders. He's a high pick.
97:21I have him right after the top 11 running backs go.
97:24So right after Chase Brown, Ken Walker, the running backs we talked about at the top of the show are gone.
97:30I like Brock Bowers ahead of the next tier of receivers.
97:33Basically, it's the 17th player because I just think he could explode at tight end in a way that makes me okay
97:39with him being really bad and embarrassing me. If you guys aren't on board, I get it.
97:44But he's the only tight end I want to spend a high pick on, if I'm being honest.
97:49I'm on board. I am too. Even though he was like one of my guys last year, he got hurt.
97:54That didn't help. That's why he's available. Yeah. I want Brock Bowers like on every team.
97:59He's not going to be cheap. No, he's not.
98:01He's a second round pick. But if you fell to the third, I'm like, oh my God.
98:06Like if you there's a world where if you get Jameer Gibbs, it's not crazy to think Brock Bowers can just fall to you.
98:12Yeah. And there's a world where you can start with Jameer Gibbs.
98:16Brock Bowers is another player. And I'm like, I would do that 100 times out of 100.
98:20Yeah. The question I have for you guys is Tyler Warren of the Colts, who I is the only Colt I'm really excited to have this year.
98:28But he just has a groin injury and is out a week and they signed Keenan Allen between when I wrote him down.
98:34And so I don't know what to do with Tyler Warren anymore because Keenan Allen, there is overlap between what Keenan Allen's
98:40going to do on the field and Warren. And I think Warren's so good.
98:44And I think Tyler Warren's closer to Colston Loveland than people think.
98:47And but I'm a little worried about him being hurt.
98:50And they signed Keenan Allen at the same two days.
98:53Fuck. Should we not turn the key on Tyler Warren then?
98:56He's so good, though. I think the thing that makes me want to say yes to the key turn is Michael Pittman's not there.
99:02Yeah. Like, I know it's Daniel Jones and the Achilles and it's like, is the offense going to be good again?
99:08And all this stuff Keenan Allen. I'm like, dude, the guy who got the most targets on the team is gone.
99:14And the other guy who got the second most targets on the team is hurt.
99:18And now it's Tyler Warren. Yeah, Alec Pierce is not practicing yet.
99:21So I feel pretty good about Tyler Warren as long as he's healthy, obviously.
99:25He has been until literally two days ago. One of my top targets in terms of I absolutely want Tyler Warren on as many teams as possible.
99:32I think the price is pretty good relative to what you can expect from him.
99:37And obviously, yeah. What happened to what happened to late round tight end?
99:40What happened to now we're recommending two of the top four tight ends?
99:44So these are. Well, no, it's barbell. It's these.
99:46If Brock Bowers falls to you or Tyler Warren falls to you, I like them.
99:50I like them more than the others. I don't love Trey McBride because I don't want to bet on the card.
99:56Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. This is not.
99:59This exercise is not if they fall to you, take them.
100:02Well, let me rephrase. Ecstatic if they fell to me.
100:04Like if Brock Bowers fell to me in the third round, I would like have to do the DK Metcalf take my shirt off.
100:11Okay, cool. Would you take them 15th overall? Because that's probably where someone else is going to take them.
100:16I haven't. Well, I haven't ranked 16th. I haven't behind the top running backs we just talked about.
100:21This conversation is like, would you slightly reach for this player?
100:24Is really what we're saying. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I mean, I think I'm higher on Bowers than any platform you're going to draft on.
100:31The way, I think the easiest way is like your top targets.
100:34Like who are you going into drafts looking to?
100:36Who are you targeting? Yeah. Yeah. Bowers. I want Bowers.
100:39I want Tyler Warren. Yeah. Those are like the two tight ends I really want.
100:43But I'm not trying to take Colson Loveland over Ibuka or Devante Smith.
100:47Totally. These guys. Yeah. You know what I mean?
100:49So like I'm not. And Sam Laporta, I was already thought was high.
100:53Now he's a hip injury. I'm not trying. I don't love Sam Laporta with the hip.
100:57I think he's very touchdown dependent. And then like the other tight ends, I don't want Harold's fan.
101:02I'm done with Kyle Pitts. He's toxic as DK, you know, and I don't want Harold's.
101:06Like, I don't really want any of these tight ends.
101:09I'm okay to wait on tight end. It's just Bowers or Warren.
101:13I don't remember what we said in previous episodes, but I'm saying it now.
101:16Tight end kind of sucks this year. I don't really want any of these guys.
101:20That's why I want Bowers and Warren. I like the top four and they're all going to be expensive.
101:26I think Trey McBride is a guy who might fall by the wayside in drafts because the vibes are so bad.
101:31If he does, that's yeah. You know what I mean?
101:34Like there's a chance that Trey McBride is like sitting there to start the fourth round just because people are like, eh, Trey McBride, Cardinals, no thanks.
101:42Cardinals. You should probably just take them. That's true.
101:44You could convince me that Trey McBride should go right there with Bowers for the same logic that Trey McBride could have
101:50a better season than Nico Collins straight up and playing tight end.
101:53Yeah, right. I'm less excited about it because the Cardinals are so goddamn bad.
101:57So are we turning our camp Tyler Warren or not?
102:00I am. Yeah. Okay. All right. So we are next up then.
102:03I want to ask George Kittle. I'm doing it.
102:06I know he's got the Achilles, but that's priced in.
102:08He's not going to go to Australia. It's just something he's talking about.
102:12He's going to, I think he will play in week two.
102:15I think Kittle will play in week two barring setback.
102:18He's not going to make the trip to Australia amid his recovery.
102:21But I think when week two on, you're going to get George Kittle and on a Niners team that with all the
102:27injuries they already have, I know it's like you're daring the substation, but I'm like, George Kittle is going to be going
102:33around to Josh Downs or Blake Quorum or Chuba Hubbard off a hamstring injury.
102:37And I'm like, everything we said about tight end, I'd rather have George Kittle and just like figure out a week one tight end and have George Kittle.
102:45I'm not going to do it. I get it.
102:47All right. Well, it's not. It's like one of those things where I feel dumb betting against George Kittle, but he tore his fucking Achilles in February.
102:54Yeah, I agree. I'm not doing it either. He's like, he's in his thirties and he's six months from an Achilles.
103:00All right. Isaiah likely for the Giants. We have to make some kind of late round tight end endorsement for St.
103:06Don't take getting. I think likely the thing that I would say about likely is if he plays more awesome pick.
103:12So maybe I will turn the key on him because, but that is a big question.
103:16I don't, I don't feel, I do think that the, in, in the way that I said earlier where Craig was like,
103:22if you end up, if, if you tell your friend or recommend to your friend, this person, and then they don't work
103:28out, you don't feel that bad about it. Because I do think the equation here with likely is if he plays more
103:34and he definitely might, he's going to go off.
103:37Um, so I think I am willing to do the likely thing, even though I think it's pretty risky.
103:42Yeah. Candidly, I don't have a tight end in this category.
103:45I didn't list a top target because I don't really feel that strongly about any of them.
103:50However, if I had to pick a guy going outside the top 10 at tight end, it would be likely.
103:55I get it. It's not a top target as much as whoever falls to you is fine.
104:00It's a top sleeper. That's really how we feel.
104:02Yeah. I get it. That's fair. I'll, I'll turn my key on him.
104:06I will turn my key too, because I, if somebody asked me which tight end outside of the top 10, would you recommend?
104:12I would recommend likely. I will say the, the beginning, the early returns on how they split up tight end usage for
104:18the Giants in their first preseason game is not very good for likely.
104:22They, we don't have to. They rotate it. Are you see the guy that we most want to fall to us?
104:27Or are you trying to take him really hard over Dallas Goddard?
104:31I feel like it doesn't matter to us, which is not the point.
104:34Yeah. I'm not reaching for, for him. All right.
104:37No, I think he's a great, I think he's a really good sleeper and that's what I'm turning the key on.
104:42Are there any other guys? I would say I would put Dalton Kincaid in almost the exact same category as likely as
104:48a talented pass catcher who just needs to play more.
104:51I think Dalton Kincaid's issue has been injuries mainly over the last couple of years.
104:55Last year, he was like battling the lingering effects of a PCL injury at a couple other injuries.
105:00Everything you heard the bills talk about with him this year is we want him to play more.
105:05We want to be on the field more. We're a better offense when he's on the field.
105:10I think Brandon Bean said something about, they score seven points more per game when he's playing or something like that.
105:16I don't know what the exact metric was, but pointing out that basically they're a better offense when he's on the field.
105:22And so the, again, the, if he plays more, I think he's going to score a lot of points.
105:27There's a, there's a strong chance he just doesn't though, because he's been so hurt over the years and because he's not much of a blocker.
105:34Um, but I think at where you're getting him a hundredth overall ish, I think it's a, it's an okay bet to make.
105:40I like it and agree with it. I don't know if I'd put it in on my official key turn list, but
105:46I was the same as you though, Craig. I was like, I don't really have like a tight end that I feel super passionately about.
105:53I agree. I mean, the only other guy is like a sleeper for me is Terrence Ferguson for the Rams that you probably don't even need to draft.
106:01I just look at him as I feel like Terrence Ferguson is the best chance of being like the number one tight
106:07end on our waivers ads after week one. And I'm like, you have him as an, but even then, if you're not
106:13a 12 team league, you don't need to roster him.
106:16It's just like a, what if he's the number three option for the Rams?
106:19Uh, but I agree. So maybe, so it's just Bowers and Warren.
106:23I'm fine with that. That represents how we feel.
106:25I agree. Do you not do it with likely?
106:28I'm going to turn him because I feel like what we're saying is we prefer he falls to us, but we're not, he's not a top target.
106:35Yeah. Okay. Uh, so the list overall we have at running back, we have chase Brown, Ken Walker, Derek Henry are our top targets.
106:42We have Deandre Swift. Is that really how we feel now that we've done the rest of these?
106:47I'm going to revoke my T turn. I feel like he's not a top target of mine.
106:51What the fuck? All right. The missiles are in the air, pal.
106:55It's not about that. It's about, it's not about that.
106:57You got to send another missile to shoot down that missile.
107:00Here's why. Here's why I'm going to make you pick.
107:03Here's why Craig on Yahoo. Okay. Cause I'm trying to be consistent here.
107:07Five guys we've talked about are back to back to back to back.
107:10Swift is back to back with a Buka, McLaurin, Luther Burden, Cam Scadaboo, Tyler Warren, and DJ Moore.
107:15We talked about all those guys. I don't want to take Deandre Swift over a Buka, Burden, Scadaboo, or Tyler Warren, or DJ Moore.
107:22I would take him behind all those guys. And therefore I have to revoke it because clearly he's not a turnkey guy for me.
107:28And therefore I have to revoke it. That's fine.
107:31I mean, what am I going to say to that?
107:33I think he's like, I think he's right there with Scadaboo to me.
107:37Like they're in the same tier. I'd rather have McLaurin, but, and it's a guy I want, but I look.
107:43I'm using your people against you. It's just, it's just a cluster of people we like.
107:47All right. He's last, he's last in the group.
107:49I'd rather have a receiver in that part. Cause if we get to running backs early, I'm, I'm hunting for receivers here.
107:55That's upsetting. That's upsetting. Okay. So Swift's off the list.
107:58So we have Brown, Walker, Henry, Chase Brown, Ken Walker, Derek Henry.
108:01Cool. We have three second rounders. All right. We like, we have, I think it's representative.
108:06And then Jonathan Brooks. What were, are we putting the asterisk that it's sleeper where he's 120th, but not necessarily Yahoo where he's 75th.
108:12Yep. Which I think is just like essentially not, not a key turn.
108:16All right. We're revoking that too. I mean, he's played nine carries in three years.
108:20I think, I think the key turns should be guys that we all really strongly feel good about.
108:25And there was definitely some hesitation. I'm strongly curious about Jonathan Brooks.
108:28Sure. I don't feel, I'm very, yeah. Scadaboo. I wish man that shot that down quick.
108:33I know. So we have Jonah Coleman and Chris Rodriguez, but it's really those, those Brown, Walker, Henry.
108:38And then, and then a hundred picks later, it's Coleman and Rodriguez, which I get it.
108:42That feels representative, which we're saying, get run, get two running backs early and then backfill it later.
108:47That's kind of what we're along the way, but the guys we like are early.
108:51Jadarian price. We didn't even talk about them. All right.
108:54That's all right. Receiver. We like the middle round guys.
108:57Receiver. The guys that we key turned are Emeka Buka, Mike Evans, Luther Burden, Quentin Johnson, DJ Moore, Deshaun Stribling.
109:02I like that list. But not AJ Brown, no Watson, no Diggs.
109:05Wait, did we say yes to Devante Smith? No.
109:08I pulled it as Devante Smith because I was like, I realized I was like lying where I'm like, my head is in it.
109:14No Smith, no Watson are the shot. If I hit draft, I'm upset.
109:18Right. So it's a Buka, it's Evans, it's Burden.
109:20And it's Quentin Johnson, it's DJ Moore, it's Stribling.
109:23Quarterbacks, we went with Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts.
109:26Yep. Solid. And tight ends, it's just Bowers and Ward.
109:28We're breaking new ground here, guys. Well, so I mean, the lesson here is you start your draft with two running backs.
109:34Yeah. You draft a bunch of receivers between rounds like three to seven.
109:38One of those rounds you dedicate to a quarterback.
109:40And yeah, receivers lose. Like it's really like we're like, get two running backs and then make sure on it.
109:46I mean, we're basically saying get one of the top four tight ends as well.
109:50It's really what we're saying. We're basically saying punt on wide receiver.
109:53We're like, you need to, we want you to.
109:56Not punt. No. I think essential to it is.
109:58Well, if you have to punt one of the categories, it's kind of receiver.
110:02Well, I don't, I guess I don't like the term punt because I think what we're saying is let's say you start running back, running back.
110:09What we're saying is you kind of need five of your next seven picks need to be wide receiver.
110:14But the other two are getting a guy like Lawrence, Herbert or Hurts or like Loveland or Warren.
110:19Or Bowers, I guess, but it's kind of what we're saying.
110:22Yes, but I think, I don't think I'd endorse doing all those things.
110:26If you go running back, running back, and then you get like Loveland Warren, I would be really hesitant if you end
110:32up, if your receivers end up being like DJ Moore and then like Josh Downs and stuff, I think that's really bad.
110:38Like, you know what I mean? Like you don't want to punt on receiver.
110:42Like I think if you go running back, like let's say you get James Cook and Derrick Henry in the first round and the second round.
110:49I don't think you necessarily, if Tyler Warren doesn't fault you, that's fine.
110:52I wouldn't. I agree. I would get, the goal for me is to get Ibuka and Mike Evans and Christian Watson.
110:58And then if DJ Moore isn't there, then like, oh, and Roma Duns.
111:02Like you want five of the top 30 receivers.
111:04I would say the thing to punt on is tight ends.
111:07Like it don't, don't, like I would much rather just go get like a Mecca Ibuka or Mike Evans or something than like reach for Tyler Warren.
111:15If those guys are there, definitely take them. But I would much rather focus on bulking up wide receiver in the middle rounds.
111:21Also, you can't get everything you want. I know.
111:23Maybe you could. You don't want to sacrifice receiver depth, although we're sacrificing receiver top end quality.
111:28And we're trying to just hope, but I think you need to make multiple bets at receiver because there's so many guys we like.
111:35And I do think you need like a bunch of guys in the middle rounds.
111:39Okay. Yeah. Do you guys want to hit a couple other things in news?
111:43What's so funny, DK? I was just thinking about just the arguments, the main arguments.
111:47It's fun. It's good stuff. We're all offended at each other for not turning the key.
111:51Also, please keep email those punishments to the Ringer Fantasy Football League.
111:54We got some good ones. Can I run by a few?
111:57I talked to Cousin Sal today, and I think we have to talk to him about the punishments.
112:02Yeah. He is kind of the punishment guru. He strongly thinks we need to up the game on the punishments.
112:08Of course he does. When people are like, I won't do that, he was like, you don't listen to them.
112:13Okay. He was like, you just listen to when they're like, I won't do that.
112:17And he's like, you want only punishments where people react that way.
112:21They just won't do them, though. But yeah, okay.
112:23That's what Sal said. And so that's what I said.
112:26And Sal was like, bring me in. Sal wants to talk to you guys.
112:30He's going to be the enforcer. Sal said he will be the enforcer and lead public shame campaigns if people refuse.
112:36Okay. So email us more punishments. And Sal's going to have us enforce them.
112:39So email more punishments to RingerFantasyFootballGmail.com. Okay. Thank you, DK.
112:42Thank you, Craig. Thank you, Cam. Thank you, Austin.
112:45Thank you, Nikhil. Thank you, Abu. Thank you, Evan, for listening.
112:48Thank you to Nuclear Submarines for this premise in Seinfeld.
112:50Thank you, Lord! Lord! I'm up, Millennial Bangers. Let's hear it.
112:53Not a pop song, not a rap song. This is from 2004.
112:57This is for the Elder Millennials. This is a rock song that came on the other day where I was out.
113:02And I was like, this song absolutely rocks. Every time it's on, I'm like, I love this song.
113:07I sing along to it. It is Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand.
113:11Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Banger, dude. I need to hear it.
113:14Throw it on. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So good. Take me out.
113:17Like a white person party anthem or bar anthem.
113:20Yeah, it's like in the Mr. Brightside kind of category for white people bangers.
113:23I Am Who I Am. It's so good. Scottish.
113:26I didn't realize Franz Ferdinand was Scottish, I don't think.
113:29It's a good song. I thought Franz Ferdinand was Austrian.
113:31Oh. Oh my God, yeah, wow. Is that what that song's called?
113:35Holy shit. I was kind of like, what is this song?
113:38And then the chorus hit. I'm like, oh my God.
113:40So good. Yeah. So if you're lonely. That's kind of a one second.
113:44Like the second this comes on, I know it.
113:47I feel like this is a song I've heard in a bunch of TV shows, but they kind of like have it
113:53really low and then they start with the chorus drops and they're kind of, yeah.
113:57Yeah. I thought that was the beginning of the song.
113:59I say you don't know. Don't you know? Yeah, dude, so good.
114:03It's a good song. Know nothing about this band.
114:05Know nothing about any other song they've ever made, but this song rocks.
114:09Yeah, that song's pretty sick. Yeah. Fuck yeah. I wanted to mix it up, you know?
114:13I like that. Should we do touch tunes? Are we doing millennial bangers or are we switching to like, is this more touch tunes?
114:20We got to get to the end of the month.
114:22We're doing millennial bangers summer, September, we can change.
114:25Okay. Touch tunes September. There you go. Rolls off the tongue.
114:28Just flows. Touch tunes fall. All right, friends. You know when you Google something and then you're like, of course that didn't work?
114:34I Googled Franz Ferdinand. Yeah. I don't know why I thought the band would come up.
114:39Yeah. You ever think about how just different the world is now because like Franz Ferdinand took a wrong turn?
114:44Is that the all-time sliding doors that the guy tried to kill them?
114:48Quite literally the all-time leading. I think it's probably one of the top ever sliding doors.
114:52Can you explain for the people who don't know?
114:54Basically, they tried to kill him and started World War I.
114:58It's a funny story, but basically this assassin tried to kill Franz Ferdinand, the Archduke, whatever.
115:02Botch job. In Sarajevo, I want to say. Yeah.
115:04And he couldn't get to him or whatever. The guy took a different route than he was expecting.
115:09So this assassin went to go just have a coffee, dejected at this random spot on a street.
115:14And then Franz Ferdinand's driver took a wrong turn, turned around, came down the street.
115:18This assassin saw him and shot him, started World War I.
115:21And like millions, hundreds, like I don't know, hundreds of millions of people, like chain reaction later being killed in both World War I and World War II.
115:29I mean, because World War II was essentially collateral from World War I.
115:33You know, like Hitler was a World War I vet and he was really upset about how Germany got the shaft in
115:39the Treaty of, I think, Versailles or whatever. And then that was why he started what he was doing.
115:44It's just like a fucking crazy sliding doors thing.
115:46I was trying to make sure. The history of the world is like, this one guy took a wrong turn.
115:52I was trying to make sure that there was no reference to like take me out.
115:56It's like kill me or something, like Franz Ferdinand singing a song called Take Me Out.
116:01But I don't believe there's any connection there. But there is a line, I'm just a shot away from you.
116:06Mm. I think that's gotta be. A little reference.
116:08You think? And history buffs, I'm sorry if I messed up the story slightly, but I think that's kind of the gist.
116:15But yeah, crazy. Franz Ferdinand, Take Me Out. There we go.
