Alvin Kamara

NegativeRole47:07

Alvin Kamara has been out-touched by Travis Etienne (10 to 2 in the first half of week one) and is being used in limited, situational roles by the Saints; the source notes that Etienne is significantly more explosive than Kamara in game film, suggesting a shift in the backfield hierarchy.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveValue44:47

Amon-Ra St. Brown is named as one of only four wide receivers the source would consider trading Parker Washington for, alongside JSN, Jamar Chase, and Puka Nacua. This elite tier designation reflects exceptional confidence in his value and production.

Insight page
PositiveValue45:42

Amon Ra is identified as one of the elite tier of receivers (alongside Jamar Chase, JSN, CeeDee Lamb, and Puka Nacua) that would command a trade for Parker Washington; he represents the highest-value receiver tier in redraft leagues.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeInjury67:03

Caleb Williams suffered a season-ending injury during Monday night's game; the injury was serious enough that he had to be walked off the field down the tunnel rather than carted off.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveUsage42:00

CeeDee Lamb looks fantastic through two games, which is causing panic among Pickens owners who fear the rest of the season will be 'the CeeDee Lamb show.' The source acknowledges Lamb's strong early performance but uses it as context for why Pickens is still a buy despite the volume concerns.

Insight page
PositiveValue45:39

CeeDee Lamb is positioned as one of only five elite receivers (alongside Jamar Chase, JSN, Amon Ra, and Puka Nacua) for whom the source would trade Parker Washington; this tier represents the highest-value receivers in redraft leagues.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveProjection45:00

Chris Olave has been incredible through two games, exceeding expectations despite the source's preseason concerns about concussions. The source identifies Olave as a potential biggest miss of the year, but in the positive sense—he's performing so well that the source fears having undervalued him in draft rankings.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout45:05

Despite preseason concerns about concussions, Olave has been incredible through early weeks; the source identifies him as a potential biggest miss of the year if he continues this trajectory, placing him among the elite tier of receivers (alongside Jamar Chase, JSN, Amon Ra, CeeDee Lamb, and Puka Nacua) that would require an elite running back or another top-5 receiver to trade away.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveValue21:03

Despite one catch for three yards over two weeks, Loveland is a buy-low candidate because his route participation is elite (around 75% of team drop-backs) and snap involvement is strong; the source argues people will panic-drop him or trade him cheaply, but his talent and offensive role suggest he'll become a focal point once the Bears stabilize at quarterback (currently dealing with Caleb Williams injury and potential Case Keenum start); the source expects this to be a "crazy" overreaction in hindsight.

Insight page
NegativeRole44:00

Colston Loveland is mentioned alongside Saquon Barkley as an example of a player whose poor recent performance is attributable to external factors (injuries, backup quarterbacks) rather than talent decline. The source uses these examples to illustrate that players with a couple of bad games can still be valuable if the underlying circumstances are temporary.

Insight page
PositiveValue70:34

Colston Loveland was acquired by Austin Gales in a trade (along with Justin Herbert) as part of a value-focused strategy; Loveland is a keeper in round 14 next year, which provides additional context for why the trade was attractive—he represents significant value at that keeper price.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

PositiveValue65:25

Devon Achane is averaging 11 PPG for the Dolphins despite the team's poor record; he's getting heavy volume and can be acquired for significantly less than his draft capital (he was not a 15th overall pick), making him a buy-low candidate.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeValue49:28

The source suggests Debo Samuel as part of a combo trade package (paired with R.J. Harvey) that could be offered to acquire Travis Etienne from a desperate team, indicating Samuel has sufficient value to be used as trade bait in a buy-low scenario.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeValue50:00

The source suggests DK Metcalf as part of a trade package (paired with Quinshawn Judkins) to acquire Travis Etienne, but notes that if giving up both Metcalf and Judkins, the source believes you could ask for someone else in the trade back, suggesting the package may be overvalued for Etienne alone.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveValue31:00

London is a buy-low candidate despite 11 points in two weeks and sideline frustration; he was overdrafted because the Falcons' first month was expected to be a disaster, but now you can acquire him at a discount; in the first 11 weeks of last season, London was a top-five receiver with the same fantasy points as Puka Nakua; Michael Penix's return (after Kirk Cousins and injuries) is a catalyst—Penix's style of "throwing fucking balls" to London plays to London's end-zone specialty; the source expects London to be a top-five-ish receiver again once the Falcons stabilize; the Thursday night game vs. Packers will likely look bad due to lack of practice time, but the 10-day gap before the next game allows for preparation.

Insight page
NegativeValue41:16

Drake London is compared unfavorably to Rasheed Rice as a rest-of-season target. The source prefers Rice despite London potentially having a higher ceiling, citing that London's value has dropped more significantly over the past two and a half weeks. The core issue is the Falcons' poor team quality and Michael Penix's injury risk; Penix will likely get hurt again and be replaced by Jack Strand, whereas Rice has Patrick Mahomes as his quarterback.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection58:29

Despite recent poor performance (third-worst QB scoring at 2.5 PPG), the source believes Drake Maye still has top-10 QB potential and will improve as the season progresses; he faced two tough defenses (Seahawks, Steelers) early and his schedule is not a gauntlet, so his current scoring is not expected to continue; he was QB2 in fantasy last year with elite efficiency and scrambling ability, though some regression from that level was always expected.

Insight page
PositiveValue58:29

The source is confident enough in Drake Maye to target him in trades; people are panicking on him and willing to give him up cheaply; the source would offer Bryce Young plus a mid-tier receiver (like Roma Dunze or Jalen Coker level) to acquire Drake Maye, suggesting he believes the market has overreacted to his slow start.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveBreakout41:36

George Pickens is identified as a buy-low candidate despite poor early-season performance. Last year he averaged over 14 points per game in half-PPR; this year he's averaged 5.5 points per game through two games. The source acknowledges that the ceiling from last year—when CeeDee Lamb was injured and Pickens received heavy volume—may not return, but still believes Pickens has significantly more potential than his first two games suggest.

Insight page
PositiveValue42:00

Pickens is a buy-low candidate despite averaging 5.7 points per game in half PPR through two games; his expected fantasy points per game is 13.2 according to Fantasy Points, indicating he's underperforming due to missed big plays (a drop in week one, defensive pass interference penalties) rather than role decline. He maintains a solid target rate over 20% and first-read target rate of 21%, still very good though not last-year levels. The source emphasizes Pickens is a really talented player in a good passing offense with Dak Prescott, and that panic sellers may be willing to move him after poor performances, making this an ideal buy window.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveValue44:47

Jamar Chase is named as one of only four wide receivers the source would consider trading Parker Washington for, alongside Amon-Ra St. Brown, JSN, and Puka Nacua. This elite tier designation reflects exceptional confidence in his value and production.

Insight page
PositiveValue45:42

Jamar Chase is identified as one of the elite tier of receivers (alongside JSN, Amon Ra, CeeDee Lamb, and Puka Nacua) that would command a trade for Parker Washington; he represents the highest-value receiver tier in redraft leagues.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeProjection10:00

Jameis Winston played poorly in Monday Night Football against the Rams, looking like noodle arm Manning with an inability to get the ball downfield. The source noted Winston had many open receivers for touchdowns but either didn't see them or bounced the ball, underthrowing instead of overthrowing. The source expressed concern that Winston might be throttled by John Harbaugh's more conservative coaching compared to Brian Daboll, and there may be something physically wrong with his arm. Despite Jameis historically being a force multiplier for fantasy points, his poor performance raises questions about his ability to support his receivers' fantasy value going forward.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeBreakout50:42

The source describes Jameson Williams as the biggest boom-bust player in fantasy football, with a pattern of producing two-point games and 30-point games (or two and 20-point games). While emotionally difficult, the source argues there is a strong mathematical case for this volatility being beneficial for winning fantasy matchups, as many fantasy contests are not close and eight points feels bad compared to the upside of boom games.

Insight page

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

PositiveValue44:47

JSN is named as one of only four wide receivers the source would consider trading Parker Washington for, alongside Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jamar Chase, and Puka Nacua. This elite tier designation reflects exceptional confidence in his value and production.

Insight page
PositiveValue45:42

JSN is positioned as one of only five elite receivers (alongside Jamar Chase, Amon Ra, CeeDee Lamb, and Puka Nacua) for whom the source would trade Parker Washington; this tier represents the highest-value receivers in redraft leagues.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeValue49:28

The source suggests Jalen Warren as part of a trade package (paired with Terry McLaurin) to acquire Travis Etienne, indicating Warren has sufficient value to be used as trade bait in a buy-low scenario.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeDepth Chart72:00

Josh Allen is part of Steven's dynasty league roster, which also includes B.J. Robinson and Jameer Gibbs; Steven used strategic tanking and savvy trades to build this competitive roster and won the league last year.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

PositiveValue65:00

Justin Herbert is at his cheapest valuation in seven years; despite uncertainty about the Chargers bouncing back, the source views him as a buy-low candidate and notes that people are willing to bench him in fantasy this week, creating an opportunity to acquire him at a discount.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeValue45:14

In a redraft league context, the source would not trade Justin Jefferson for Parker Washington, despite Washington's elite target rate; this comparison illustrates the tier separation between established elite receivers and breakout candidates.

Insight page
PositiveValue45:30

Justin Jefferson is mentioned as a player the source would not trade for Parker Washington, indicating Jefferson is valued below Parker Washington in the source's hierarchy despite his elite status.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveRole37:45

Walker has emerged as the clear number-one option for the Chiefs, "Ken-mogging" Rasheed Rice; he is now the primary goal-line back, displacing Rice from that role; the source notes that Walker is the only non-Kelce option on the Chiefs who has been consistently productive.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeValue31:00

Pitts is mentioned as a potential free or near-free acquisition in the Falcons offense alongside Drake London; the source humorously notes he is "not legally allowed to recommend Pitts" but acknowledges the discount available due to the Falcons' chaos and quarterback instability.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue22:00

Burden is a secondary buy-low target behind Loveland; while snap counts are concerning and he's competing with Kalief Raymond, his route participation is strong at around 75% of team drop-backs; the source cautions against overreacting to the Vikings game (week two), where Burden ran deeper routes and Caleb Williams ranked 33rd in depth of target; in week one, Burden had 63 yards and five catches (second on team); the source expects brighter days ahead and believes the panic is unwarranted.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeProjection67:21

Malik Nabers suffered a cramp during Monday night's game that knocked him out for a portion of the game; this injury occurrence was coincidental to a fantasy owner's joke about needing Nabers to get injured to help his comeback bid.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

NegativeProjection14:30

Matthew Stafford's performance in Monday Night Football was solid but not exceptional, with the source noting that while Devontae Adams was great, Stafford overall needs to get calibrated. The source believes the Rams will win the Super Bowl if everyone is healthy, but Stafford's individual performance was not highlighted as a standout. The source was more impressed by Aaron Donald's impact than Stafford's play.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

NegativeProjection33:00

Penix is 26 years old with 12 career starts and three ACL tears; the source's draft analysis was accurate—he would have been a top-10 to top-15 pick with a normal injury timeline, but the three ACL tears raise long-term durability concerns; he started nine games last season with nine touchdowns and three interceptions; the source believes if he had developed normally, he could have been good, but the "cold rule of the jungle" suggests long-term starter viability is questionable; however, the source endorses taking the risk on Penix staying healthy as a discount play for Drake London upside.

Insight page

Najee Harris

NegativeRole7:00

Najee Harris was inexplicably used on third-and-two in a critical goal-line situation instead of Cam Scadaboo, which the source found infuriating and unforgivable. Harris was also played in garbage time when the Giants were down 21 points, suggesting inconsistent usage patterns. The source criticizes old coaches for stubbornly adhering to outdated role designations like goal-line guy or red zone package guy instead of simply putting their best players on the field. Harris, who was on his couch a couple weeks ago, should not be getting these high-leverage opportunities over Scadaboo.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue44:47

Parker Washington is a strong hold; the source states 'I don't know if I would trade Parker Washington for anyone right now,' indicating exceptional confidence in his value. When asked if he would flip Parker Washington for George Pickens, the speaker emphatically says 'Hell no,' suggesting Washington is viewed as more valuable than even a talented buy-low like Pickens.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout45:25

Parker Washington has the second-highest target rate so far this season; the source views him as a legitimate top-12 player in redraft leagues, ranking him alongside elite receivers like Jamar Chase, JSN, Amon Ra, CeeDee Lamb, and Puka Nacua—players you would only trade away for other elite receivers or top running backs.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveRole12:00

Puka Nakua's absence from Monday Night Football had a significant impact on the Rams' offensive efficiency. The source notes that when Puka is not playing, the Giants simply let Devontae Adams crush them, and the Rams don't even need to put Adams in motion to get him against a rookie cornerback. The source questions why the Rams' offensive scheme is so dependent on Nakua's presence, suggesting his role is critical to the team's success. When Puka is playing, the Rams can get Adams a one-on-one, but without him, the Giants' defense is even more vulnerable.

Insight page
PositiveValue44:47

Puka Nacua is named as one of only four wide receivers the source would consider trading Parker Washington for, alongside Amon-Ra St. Brown, JSN, and Jamar Chase. This elite tier designation reflects exceptional confidence in his value and production.

Insight page
PositiveValue45:58

Puka Nacua is positioned as one of only five elite receivers (alongside Jamar Chase, JSN, Amon Ra, and CeeDee Lamb) for whom the source would trade Parker Washington; this tier represents the highest-value receivers in redraft leagues.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeValue50:00

The source suggests Quinshawn Judkins as part of a trade package (paired with DK Metcalf) to acquire Travis Etienne, but notes that if giving up both Judkins and Metcalf, the source believes you could ask for someone else in the trade back, suggesting the package may be overvalued for Etienne alone.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeValue37:45

Rice is a sell-low candidate despite historical production; he has six catches in two games and has been "completely Ken-mogged" by Kenneth Walker; the source notes that both games were Chiefs wins with 30+ points, yet Rice was "just like any other guy on the team"; however, the source argues that Rice's last 17 games before this season with the Chiefs included 120 catches and he's been a top-10 wide receiver every time he's been on the field; the source is willing to trade Christian Watson, Mike Evans, A.J. Brown, Breece Hall, or Kyron Williams to acquire Rice, betting on his historical role returning despite current mediocrity.

Insight page
NegativeValue38:56

The source identifies Rasheed Rice as a buy-low trade target, willing to trade Christian Watson, Mike Evans, Travis Achane, Devon Achane, or Kyron Williams for him. Despite Ken Walker's recent goal-line usage and Xavier Worthy's red zone touchdown in week one, the source believes Rice remains a great option; Rice was open on the Worthy touchdown play. Kenneth Walker's 23% target rate is viewed as unsustainable, and at 28 touches per game, the source expects the Chiefs to ease off Walker's workload as the season progresses, allowing Rice to re-inherit volume. Rice is still ramping up from injury, but the source prefers him over Drake London rest of season due to Patrick Mahomes' reliability versus Michael Penix's injury risk with the Falcons.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeValue49:28

The source suggests R.J. Harvey as part of a combo trade package (paired with Debo Samuel) that could be offered to acquire Travis Etienne from a desperate team, indicating Harvey has sufficient value to be used as trade bait in a buy-low scenario.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeValue73:20

Sam Darnold was used as an example of a terrible trade offer in a dynasty league context; Steven repeatedly offered deals like 'Sam Darnold and a second-round pick for Drake Maye' to other league members, demonstrating his aggressive trading strategy.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveValue25:06

Barkley is a buy-low candidate despite early disappointment and a stinger injury; the source argues you're buying guaranteed volume (18-20 touches per game) rather than confidence in the Eagles offense; Barkley's underlying metrics are elite—he's breaking tackles and creating yards after contact at an elite level despite a small sample; the Eagles offense is still finding its footing (75% of snaps in 11 personnel vs. 58% last year) and just lost Goddard; the source suggests packaging players like Delmarion Hampton, Cam Saquon, or Devon Achane to acquire him; the Eagles have the 7th or 8th easiest schedule rest of season.

Insight page
NegativeRole44:00

Saquon Barkley is cited as an example of a talented player whose recent underperformance (stinger injury) is temporary and not indicative of long-term decline. The source groups him with other players who have had a couple of bad games due to circumstances rather than talent erosion.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeProjection49:28

The source is bullish on Terry McLaurin's value when Jaden Daniels returns, but expresses concern that McLaurin will not have significant fantasy value with Marcus Mariota at quarterback. The source suggests McLaurin as part of a trade package (with Jalen Warren) to acquire Travis Etienne, implying reduced near-term value due to the quarterback situation.

Insight page
NegativeRole67:03

Terry McLaurin's fantasy value is heavily dependent on Jayden Daniels' health; the source believes their connection is so important that he would not play McLaurin until Daniels returns from his elbow injury; if Daniels returns this season, McLaurin could be solid, but the source notes this is a difficult way to manage the position.

Insight page

Theo Johnson

NegativeRole7:00

Theo Johnson, a tight end from Penn State behind Isaiah Likely, was confused on the play where Jackson Dart got injured. The source notes Johnson had his hands up asking what the play was, indicating the offense was discombobulated and people weren't on the same page. This suggests Johnson is not a primary target in the Giants' offense and is behind Likely on the depth chart.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveValue46:53

Travis Etienne is identified as a buy-low candidate; despite 17 carries for 70 yards in two games and early-season work-sharing with Kendrick Miller and Alvin Kamara, the source believes the Saints' significant financial investment (12-14 million dollars per year, comparable to what the Chiefs paid Ken Walker) indicates they will give Etienne the ball; he is a good enough blocker to stay on the field, and the source views him as significantly more explosive than Kamara in game film.

Insight page
PositiveValue47:58

The source notes that Travis Etienne is experiencing panic in the market due to negative narratives about losing touches, but argues he will be available at a discount despite potentially being someone's fourth-round pick. The source expects him to stabilize and perform well, though not as a first-round running back caliber player. The source suggests acquiring him via trade by targeting teams that are 0-2 and desperate for running back depth, potentially in combo deals like pairing R.J. Harvey and Debo Samuel, or Terry McLaurin and Jalen Warren.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeProjection39:30

Kelce turns 37 in two weeks; the source notes he is the only consistent non-Kenneth Walker option on the Chiefs long-term, but expresses concern about his age and durability going forward.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeProjection39:30

Worthy has not hit 25 yards in a single game so far this season; the source lists him as an ancillary option on the Chiefs with limited long-term fantasy appeal.

Insight page
NegativeRole39:48

Xavier Worthy was schemed up for a touchdown inside the five-yard line in week one, surprising the source who notes 'no one expected Xavier Worthy to catch a football.' This represents an unexpected role expansion in the red zone for Worthy, though the source views this as a one-off scheme rather than a sustainable trend.

1:00Dart who might be out for the entire season.
1:03We were doing bylaws in fantasy football. People would have potentially panic trade, target.
1:07We have Fantasy Court. We have Ringer Fantasy Football League update where someone here is in first place.
1:12Maybe multiple people here in first place. And no one here is in last.

1:47Additional taxes, fees, and terms apply. Welcome to the Ringer Fantasy Football Show.
1:51My name is Danny Heifetz. I'm joined by Danny Kelly and Craig Horlbeck and Jackson Dart might be out for the season.
1:57Football's dumb. Why do we do this to ourselves?
2:00I don't know. Heifetz, are you upset that Jackson Dart, Malik Neighbors, and Cam Scadaboo have been on the field together for
2:07only three and a half percent of the Giants' total offensive plays in the last few seasons?
2:12Three and a half percent. The number I saw was 70 snaps.
2:15Three and a half percent is even worse because now it's like 96 and a half percent.
2:20I mean, yeah, no, it sucks. We're going to go over fantasy trade candidates, buy lows, all that stuff.
2:26We'll do fantasy court. But yeah, the Giants got rocked by the Rams on Monday Night Football.
2:31I don't take that personally. The Giants weirdly could have won the game, but it doesn't matter.
2:36Jackson Dart got hurt in the first drive, and we could talk all about it.
2:40But the fact that the snip-snap emotional toll rollercoaster of, oh, I think his leg is dead, to he's fine.
2:46He's back on the field. He wanted to come back into the game, to it's an MCL sprain.
2:51Lip readers are saying 46 weeks. I hate those people.
2:54They're like, actually, it might be two to four weeks.
2:57Then it's like, JK may be out for the season.
3:00No one will tell me what it is, but it's really bad, guys.
3:04And I'm like, you know what? I don't know whether to be distraught and miserable, or I think my real takeaway from
3:10all this is I am, in retrospect, incredibly grateful for Eli Manning, who became the starting quarterback for the Giants when I
3:17was in fourth grade, and then did not miss another game until I was like a staff writer at the ringer at 24.
3:24That's wild. Whipped, whatever. Both the defensive ends get there at the same spot, right?
3:28And the tackles kind of did their job. He was in shotgun and took a seven-step drop from shotgun.
3:34He should have stepped up. The problem was, you know who was there?
3:38Freaking Aaron Donald and Kobe Turner beat both these guards one-on-one.
3:41And I love Francis Mallory. No, I hope he's great, but got absolutely rocked by Kobe Turner.
3:46Aaron Donald's bear crawling toward Jackson Dart. So he's running back.
3:49Aaron Donald's coming at him like a sea monster.
3:52Yeah. And now this, like, the season's over. And Jameis will play better going forward.
3:56Maybe the Giants scratch out a wild card spot and then, like, get rocked in the absolute best case scenario.
4:02But this whole season's about developing Jackson Dart under the John Harbaugh, you know, renovation that's taking place of this Giants team.
4:09And if Jackson Dart misses the season, it feels like just a lost year, period.
4:13Like, at the very least, it's letting the season lie fallow for John Harbaugh to set culture, I guess.
4:19But, like, the whole season's about Jackson Dart, and this sucks.
4:22Yeah. Yeah. It's really, really tough. I think you start to get into implications for whether Jackson Dart will develop into a
4:28franchise quarterback now because he's missing so much time.
4:31Not only did he, is he going to likely miss all but two games for this season, but he missed games last season.
4:38He was in the, you know, he's in the tent, I think, was like 48% of the games he appeared in.
4:44There's real questions here about durability. Not that that's fair, necessarily, because this was kind of a freak play.
4:49Yeah. You know, he just kind of got hit on both sides and the knee got bent backwards.
4:55But, I mean, it is really tough. You start to have a little bit of doubt creep in that he's actually going to turn into a franchise quarterback.
5:03It's a huge bummer because Jackson Dart, I do think, defied the odds and was, like, immediately good in the NFL, and nobody kind of expected that.
5:11I remember, what pick did Dart go in exactly?
5:14Was he, like, mid-to-day? They traded up to him with the Texans.
5:17They took him 25th, I believe. Oh, 25th. I remember the Steelers passed on him, and I was happy about that.
5:23And then the first time I watched Jackson Dart play, I was like, wow, I think this guy might be good.
5:29And then the more I saw him play, the more I believed it.
5:33And the fact that Neighbors, Scadaboo, and Dart are all good picks.
5:37Scadaboo's great. Neighbors is great. Even the twisting of the knife last night with Neighbors hurting his shoulder, and he looked like he was in extreme pain.
5:45And then he came back in the game, and he was, like, playing in the final two series of the game.
5:51We just got this shoulder injury. It's all super depressing.
5:54It reminds me a little bit of Jayden Daniels, who I'm like, when the guy's on the field, he's good.
6:00But it's just, like, how many years does have to keep passing where it's like, oh, all right, last year, let's try again next year.
6:07Before you know it, it's like, Dart and Jayden Daniels are up for second contracts, and they haven't played that much.
6:13Yeah, football's a thresher. And it sucks. Like, it's just, it's a meat grinder.
6:17It's, yeah. No, this just sucks. I don't have any silver linings.
6:21I don't have anything good to say. Like, even Jameis didn't look like Jameis Winston.
6:25Like, that's depressing. Jameis looked horrible. You're bad. Talking about the game, I don't know if it's even a moot point.
6:32Obviously, the Rams won 28-6. They blew them out.
6:34The defense sucks. It's weird, because the pass rush is awesome.
6:37But, like, the linebackers are a work in progress.
6:40The secondary's terrible. The corners are a disaster, yeah.
6:43I'm really frustrated by the defensive game plan. I don't understand how Colton Hood, a rookie cornerback I'm very excited about, ends
6:49up, like, one-on-one with Devontae Adams at the goal line when he had 12 or 11 touchdowns last year from the one-yard line.
6:56I don't get how there's no safety help in Devontae with a rookie who's in his second career game.
7:02I don't really understand anything going on in defense.
7:04I don't get why Najee Harris is playing on third and two in the most important play of the game for the Giants instead of Scadaboo.
7:12That was, to me, the most unforgivable moment of the entire game.
7:15I was absolutely flabbergasted. It seems like there's, like, no rhyme or reason when Scadaboo was in or out.
7:21The offense was discombobulated. Like, people weren't on the same page.
7:24The play that Jackson Dart got hurt. Everyone was confused.
7:27Like, they came out of the snap. Malik Nabors went to the wrong side of the field, and then didn't move over.
7:34And then Theo Johnson, who's the tight end at Penn State, behind Isaiah Likely, and he's, like, he's got his hands up.
7:40He's like, what are we doing? People didn't know the play.
7:43I don't know if that's why Jackson Dart took the seven-step drop.
7:47But, again, the irony of the play is the tackles kind of did their job.
7:51They're moving those defensive ends. He's supposed to step up in the pocket.
7:55Those guys are, like, 10 yards deep. Dart is too far back.
7:59How much of that's on Dart? How much is that it's third and 12 or whatever?
8:03He's going to buy time. How much of that's, again, Aaron Donald just going through John Runyon like it's nothing, while Kobe Turner's beating Francis Marinoa.
8:11Like, it was just kind of, like, a perfect distillation of the problem, which is the guards are good but not good enough.
8:18The game, the offense looks discombobulated. Like, why it's third and two, and you built this, like, beefy Patrick Ricard, scataboo, multi-tight end lineup with a fullback.
8:26But then third and two, you have three receivers on the field when you barely have three receivers on the team.
8:32Everything's annoying. But, you know, it just sucks to – look at me.
8:36Like, these dying gasps of me trying to talk about the game when it's like, the season's over.
8:41That's the disease of the mind. I'm still thinking about this game they lost by 22.
8:46And I'm like, the season's over. And I'm already clinging to things to think about.
8:50But I don't know. I don't know. It sucks.
8:53I'm sorry. I saw our buddy Scott Barrett. I was actually so earnest.
8:57He's also a Giants fan, Scott Barrett is. And he was like, usually I have to wait until, like, Thanksgiving to be eliminated mathematically from the playoffs.
9:05Like, maybe now this is actually just a good thing.
9:08I don't have to think about the Giants and potential, you know, playoffs or whatever.
9:12I get to just enjoy the rest of the season and watch football for football.
9:16I can, like, watch the Yankees blow it in the playoffs again.
9:20I could watch the Knicks. I'll think about all this time I'll have not watching the Giants.
9:25The annoying thing is, while I'm being delusional, I swear to God the Giants could have won that game.
9:31Like, it should have been 14. Jameis, I'm not going to sit here and pretend like Jameis Winston is not going to be Jameis.
9:38He'll always be Jameis and make dumb decisions. I kind of couldn't believe how many times there was an open receiver that he couldn't hit.
9:45Like, the ball wasn't, like, he had so many open players for touchdowns.
9:49And he either didn't see them or bounced the ball.
9:52And I'm like, man, Jameis, I want you overthrowing these guys, not underthrowing them.
9:56I just, I don't know. It was really sad to watch Jameis unable to pull Trigg.
10:01I'm like, oh my God, there's touchdowns left, right, and center.
10:04But he'll be better with more time, I hope.
10:07But, like, I don't know. I'm just sad. I'm just sad.
10:10Dude, the Rams had a stretch where they had turnovers and back-to-back plays and then a penalty right after that.
10:16Yeah. And they missed the field goal going into halftime.
10:19That's 14-3. I mean, it felt like it was 21-0.
10:22The fact that, I mean, it was a two-score game and a one-score game for decent chunks of this game.
10:27So I totally agree. Like, even if Jameis was decent, he looked like noodle arm Manning out there.
10:33Like, he just couldn't get the ball. Yeah, it was weird.
10:36He kept dirting it. It was, yeah. I agree.
10:39I mean, again, I know it sounds crazy. It was 20-6.
10:42But the Giants kind of should have been winning in the middle of the fourth quarter.
10:47Well, they were hanging. Yeah, they were hanging around long enough.
10:50And then I think the Rams at the end kind of put it away decisively.
10:54Yeah, they had a couple chances to make. Again, and I know I'm just harping on one thing.
11:00But, like, the fact that Najee was in there on that goal line series was, it actually infuriated me.
11:05I don't get it. And I'm not even the Scadaboo lover like you guys.
11:09You guys love him. I totally agree, though, that he sets a tone and the physicality.
11:14And his versatility is so much more important than what Najee brings.
11:17I mean, it's like, it just doesn't make any sense to me.
11:21And then they had him out there in garbage time when they're down, like, 21 points.
11:26Like, oh, now you're going to play him? It just drives me insane when these old coaches have these, like, oh, well, he's our goal line guy.
11:34He's our red zone package guy. It's like, no, just put your best players on the field, you idiots.
11:39That just drove me insane. Is there anyone you would want more than Cam Scadaboo to fucking grind you two yards?
11:45Like, is there anyone who wants two yards more than Cam Scadaboo?
11:49Najee, who was, like, on his couch a couple weeks ago.
11:52Like, I can't believe this. The energy is infectious because Scadaboo, when dark goes down, you need Scadaboo's energy on the team.
11:59Like, never mind. I don't know. The whole thing bothered me.
12:02I do want, I mean, again, the Giants did not deserve to win the game.
12:06The Rams played better. Devontae Adams was unbelievable. Eight catches, 195 yards, two touchdowns.
12:10Easily could have had more. I don't understand how, when Puka Naku is not playing, the Giants just let Devontae crush them.
12:17Like, Devontae got Tyler Newbin, a safety I'm very frustrated with, on a double move where I'm like, I don't understand how
12:23Devontae is getting a 60-yard catch when Puka Naku is not playing.
12:27I don't understand, again, why Devontae's one-on-one at the goal line.
12:30I get why, when Puka's playing, the Rams can get Devontae a one-on-one.
12:34I don't get when Puka's out why the Rams don't even need to put Devontae in motion to get him against a
12:41rookie cornerback who's shading inside to hide the slant.
12:43And then Devontae just does, like, a slant and goes to the pylon.
12:47I'm like, this is the easiest touchdown I've seen him have in years.
12:51I don't get it. But again, they played great.
12:53The other person just have to, you know, Jackson Dart, I don't want to belabor on because we don't know it, but he's probably, it's probably fucked.
13:01The person I want to talk about is Aaron Donald, who, I actually think it's underrated how incredible his performance was in this game.
13:08I kind of think the Dart injury has overshadowed that.
13:11I thought Aaron Donald was unbelievably impactful. And frankly, I assumed that he would have some kind of ramp-up period that didn't really exist.
13:19He played, like, you know, less than half the snaps.
13:21But when he was in the game, the Giants had to double-team him every time.
13:26And when they didn't, he just immediately won. And they had to be running around Aaron Donald or, like, the plays were
13:32designed to leave him unblocked and use the aggressiveness against him.
13:36But among other takeaways, I actually think that if Miles Garrett comes back healthy, I do think the Rams are going to win the Super Bowl.
13:43Because I couldn't believe how immediately good Aaron Donald was on a per-play basis.
13:47Yeah, I mean, he looked like himself, which is all you can really hope for.
13:52Obviously, you know, I think he had only one pressure in the game, but that doesn't kind of capture the impact that he was making.
13:59He was getting double-teamed constantly. He looked good. He looked physical and spry, and he looked like he had push.
14:05He looked like he was fresh. Yeah. And as soon as they get Miles Garrett back, oh, my God.
14:11Yeah. So this was a good reminder of the Rams still being the Rams, and they look great at times.
14:17They did kind of let the Giants hang around.
14:19But overall, they took care of business. They did their thing.
14:22At the end of the game, did you guys see that Sean McVay basically took the blame for the Australia trip?
14:29It was funny. To close his presser, he was like, sometimes you win, sometimes you learn.
14:33And sometimes you have a coach who makes idiotic travel plans.
14:37Something along those lines. He said, sometimes you have a dumbass coach who makes a scheduling plan that puts you in a bad spot.
14:44Right. And then he slaps the podium and walks off.
14:47There you go. There's your sound clip. Bye. You can have it.
14:50He took the blame, even though maybe it wasn't fully his idea or whatever.
14:54But yeah, I don't know. The Rams are fully scary again, in my mind.
14:58Obviously, week one, you're like, what the hell happened to this team?
15:02But what happened was I was texting with my buddies before the game.
15:06I'm like, and they were like, basically, the most likely scenario is the Rams kick their asses and they look like the Rams again.
15:13And I was like, yes. And they did. The person who needs to get calibrated, I think, is Stafford, who, I mean, obviously, Devontae was great.
15:20But I mean, overall, again, I just think the Rams, if everyone's healthy, they will win.
15:25I couldn't believe how good Aaron Donald was. Yeah.
15:28So football's dumb. Anything else on Monday night? Anything else in Jackson Dart?
15:32I'm not thinking of. No, now you can focus on fantasy.
15:35You don't have to worry about rooting for a team.
15:38You know what I mean? Maybe you'll get Jeremiah Smith now.
15:41Like, who knows? So we're going to do by lows for power hour.
15:45But before we do that, I do want to just mention we don't have this person, but I wonder if Malik Neighbors is now a by low.
15:53I was just going to interrupt you and say, I think Neighbors might be a by low candidate just because Jameis played terrible.
16:00But in his entire career, Jameis has been maybe the most like force multiplier in fantasy that we've seen.
16:05Yeah. Like, it's crazy that what element he brings, even though he's not necessarily going to help you win games.
16:11He is a huge, huge variable for fantasy points.
16:14We'll see what happens going forward. He might be throttled by John Harbaugh instead of Brian Dable and coaches that are on offensive or more conservative.
16:21Maybe there's something physical wrong with him. There's arm.
16:24But I agree, TK. I mean, we talked about Jerry Judy.
16:27Jerry Judy catches yards, targets, touchdowns, everything was just double.
16:30Cedric Tillman, who is out cut. And so he's not even he's on a practice squad somewhere.
16:35I don't know. Part of me is like, you have a five day window here where people will be worried about Jameis or Jameis's arm.
16:43The Giants bad vibes. Malik Neighbors had a shoulder injury.
16:45His shoulder is going to be fine. He went back in the game.
16:49And I'm like, man, Malik Neighbors. If you had told us 17 games of Neighbors or 17 games of Jameis or 17
16:56games of Jackson Dart, we would have ranked Neighbors higher if it was with Jameis.
17:00So I kind of think his value is going down as the real value is going to go up.
17:06I am worried about the health. I don't. The shoulder thing kind of freaked me out.
17:11He looked like he was in incredible pain. And then they came.
17:14He came back in. He was also like feels like he's still.
17:18I mean, he's like openly admitted. He's really not 100 percent.
17:21He's like ramping. No, he's not. There's a lot going on there.
17:24So I don't know. I don't know if I would like endorse that with my whole body.
17:29Well, yeah, but I don't think you have to give up as much as you would have because, again, he had one catch for one yard last night.
17:38Like, you know, people are probably panicking. So I think that's and that's kind of a good window into how we want
17:44to do this whole buy low thing, which is we're trying to buy low.
17:48Like, we're not saying that we're going to go through a bunch of players we think you could do with trades.
17:54We usually do this episode next week because I think it's hard to get a trade done after two weeks.
18:00And then after three, everybody's like, oh, and three or one and two wants to do it.
18:05After even two weeks, people usually want to like see their players one more time.
18:10But I don't know if the big start of this year has been more of a disaster than typical years.
18:16There's like six quarterbacks that are out for significant amounts of time.
18:19There's been a lot of like weird fantasy disasters that have already taken place.
18:23So I've already seen trades take place in my leagues.
18:26Trade requests are going around. So we wanted to push it a week earlier because there's just a lot going on.
18:32It feels like desperation is the mother invention. If you want to get trade done, you start with the people at the bottom of the standing.
18:40So oh, and two like that's just like those are the people.
18:44And then I try to try to work backwards from like who's on their team.
18:48But I think just to be clear, we're saying that these people that we're going to talk about are guys that if
18:54you could do your draft over, I think the people who have them are like, I would not take that person straight up.
19:01I regret taking that player and we're basically identifying as you might be able to get for like way less value than
19:08they were drafted even two and a half weeks ago.
19:11Yes. And this will be interesting. I don't think, yeah.
19:14We all kind of submitted our three to four favorite.
19:17Heifetz ranked them. We don't agree on all of these.
19:19Like me looking at this list, I have a couple qualms.
19:23So I'm excited to get into it. We should say, so we're doing this power hour style where every three minutes you'll hear a sound.
19:30We've been experimenting with sounds because TomTom, we can't license TomTom.
19:33So we're figuring out what to do. Last week we tried something.
19:37This week what we're going with is a long time ago when this show was not called the Ringer Fantasy Football Show.
19:43It was called the Dantasy Football Podcast. Great for SEO.
19:46Did you mean fantasy? We had an old producer at the Ringer, Evan Campbell, who made the theme song for that show.
19:53And it was like old school NFL bells mixed with like dubstep.
19:56And we loved it, but it was like a little hot, a little intense.
20:00We changed the name. We kind of changed. But now we've clipped that into a little five second nugget.
20:06And I've kind of always had a nostalgia. We've always kind of loved that song.
20:10So we're going to be doing that today and we'll see how that plays.
20:15It goes hard. So fair warning. It goes hard.
20:17We're really doing like The Bachelor for the Power Hour this year.
20:21We're going to test around. We're doing hometown visits.
20:23Yeah. Yeah. And by the end of the season, we need to find a new Power Hour song.
20:29So we're just going to take it out for a spin.
20:32You know? This is like dating your ex. Yeah.
20:35But yeah. No. It's actually a really good call, DK.
20:38Wow. Yeah. So we're going to do Power Hour style.
20:40Every three minutes you're going to hear this old intro.
20:43It goes. Man. Yeah. That was good. Yeah. It's hardcore.
20:46That gets me excited for football. It feels like we're doing an app for like monster energy.
20:51Yeah. Which we're not. Yeah. Which we're not. We're not doing that.
20:55To be clear. Yeah. We're not. We're going to go through bylaws.
20:58And again, these guys are going to suck. I'm just warning you ahead of time.
21:03And it's going to suck. Let's do it. It's scary.
21:06All right. I'm going first. Number one. Three minutes on the clock.
21:09Colston Loveland and Luther Burden. That's right. The Bears.
21:12It's been a disaster. Colston Loveland has one catch for three yards over two weeks.
21:16I would argue the Tijon, the Baygent news. It might not be Baygent because he's in concussion protocol.
21:22So we might be in Case Keenum territory. I would argue that helps your chances of getting Colston Loveland in a trade.
21:28You can wait a week if you want to get cute.
21:31They're playing the Eagles on Monday Night Football and it might be with Case Keenum.
21:36So it could be a disaster. I mean, it can't really get worse than what Colston Loveland is already doing.
21:42But I almost don't even want to like, I think it's obvious why you'd buy low on him.
21:47He's a talent. We all agree. We think he's a good player.
21:51And his involvement in the offense from like a route participation and a snap standpoint is great.
21:56So I would post him number one. And number two, Luther Burden, who there are a little bit more alarming stats about how many snaps he's playing.
22:03And Kalief Raymond and all the stuff like that.
22:06But if you look at the routes every time Kalief dropped back, Burden, Adunze, and Loveland are all around 75%.
22:12Regardless of how many actual snaps they're playing, when they're throwing the football, all three of them are usually running routes for like three-fourths of the time.
22:20What I will want to say is like, I think the Vikings game you should throw out.
22:25Not because like, I know it's like playing a good defense doesn't just mean you can throw out all the stats.
22:31But the Vikings looks like crazy. They run too high and they defend the slot really well.
22:36Those three things are like a perfect recipe for Luther Burden to not play well.
22:41Burden runs deeper routes. Caleb was 33rd last week in depth of target ahead of only Jack Strand.
22:46And it was a mess that game. And if you just look at week one, he was second on the team with 63 yards and five catches.
22:54So my entire point is like, don't overreact. I do think the Bears are, I actually think that Luther Burden and Colston
23:00Loveland, people are going to be pissed. Especially with Loveland.
23:03And I think you should try to go after them.
23:06Yeah, I think I was the most, uh, little bit cynical about this or not cynical, but like, I have a little
23:13bit of doubt in the back of my mind based on like the way that they're using him.
23:18But when you do look at, when you break it down by routes per team drop back, which is how many routes
23:24you running relative to the amount of times the team is throwing and dropping back to throw.
23:29And you're right, like Burden and Odunze are about the same.
23:33Um, and they're out there a good amount of time.
23:36And I think they're, he's just really not out there when they're running, which is totally fine.
23:41Um, and I think just this is, this is a perfect example of don't overreact to a small sample.
23:46I think the Colston Loveland stuff is probably, we're, we're going to look back on it.
23:51Like, wow, that was crazy. The first two weeks he didn't do anything.
23:55And then, you know, he became a big focal point in the offense.
23:59I think that probably will happen. It's more likely than not to happen.
24:02Um, but yeah, I think people, and also this is really helpful because people who have Loveland are probably freaking out right now.
24:09That's the best part of this is I think you can, you don't have to spend big to get Loveland.
24:15I would guess because people, one catch in three yards in two games, that's like droppable.
24:20If you're, this is a good point, TK. Like some people might just drop him for fucking Dalton Schultz or something.
24:26Exactly. How about that drop? If you could just offer like a regular run of the mill, a Mark Andrews, and then
24:32throw in like a running back or a wide receiver that might like help them, you could probably get Colston Loveland.
24:39Yeah. If you have Colston Loveland, you're probably 0-2 and freaking out.
24:42Yeah. And then you're like, I need a win.
24:45Like I can't go 0-3. I don't know. Case Keenan plays.
24:48You're not going to play Colston Loveland this week.
24:51So you're 0-2. You might not play Colston. Like if Caleb, but if you're 2-0 and you trade for Colston Loveland and
24:57in four weeks, Caleb Williams is back. Yeah. I think this is a really good call.
25:02Um, okay. Next up here. Number two. We're also, wait, we're saying Luther Burden's number two.
25:07I think Colston Loveland is an emphatic endorse because the people who have him aren't going to play him.
25:12Is Luther Burden an equally emphatic endorsement before we move on?
25:15It's not probably an equal because Colston Loveland is like an abject disaster.
25:19Yeah. Burden might be harder to give up, but I do.
25:23I, I, I feel, I still feel confident that much brighter days are ahead.
25:27Number two, then number one, a one B for Loveland and, uh, Luther Burden.
25:31Number two, buy low DK. You set Saquon Barkley running back for the Eagles.
25:35Yeah. So this one is a little hard to stomach.
25:38I know how frustrating it has been to watch the Eagles offense and he's already hurt.
25:43He had a stinger. We don't exactly know the implications for how long he'll be out yet.
25:48But if you look at the first round and basically all the high volume first round running backs, he is the only
25:54one that hasn't even remotely lived up to expectations or is basically been a failure based on where you got him.
26:00And I think I'll just put it this way.
26:03You're not buying confidence in the offense or confidence that the Eagles are going to be the best offense in the NFL or whatever.
26:10You're buying touches. He is going to get touches almost surely as long as he's on the field, he's going to get
26:16like 18 to 20 touches a game. And you can't really trade for that.
26:21Otherwise, like there are no other players right now that you could pay a relatively low price to get that are going to have 18 to 20 touches.
26:29Now, of course, it's not going to be totally cheap.
26:32But if I'm looking at like Omar and Hampton, Cam Scadaboo Plus, Devon H.
26:36And plus, I probably would be trying to make plus you mean plus a person.
26:40Plus, plus. Yeah. Yes. Sorry. It's not like a new streaming.
26:43Cam Scadaboo is a streaming service. They're in Cam Scadaboo Plus.
26:47Sorry, I meant like like packaging Omar and Hampton, Cam Scadaboo, one of these guys to go get Saquon.
26:52Because I think I think number one, Saquon still got his talent and explosiveness and elusiveness.
26:57Like if you look at all the underlying numbers, like he's breaking a lot of tackles.
27:02He's creating yards after the after contact elite level so far, even though it's a small sample.
27:07And so I don't I'm not worried he's like washed or anything like that.
27:11I think right now that the worry is and the reason people might be freaking out about Saquon is the Eagles offense
27:17is still trying to like get its footing. There are totally different looking offense than last year.
27:22They're playing 75 percent of their snaps are in like 11 personnel, which was more like 58 percent last year or something like that.
27:29And they just lost Goddard. So I think that's probably not going to change all that much.
27:34So I don't know. I think the Eagles are still trying to find their footing.
27:39And really what you're doing is you're trading for volume.
27:42And that is, I think, a really important variable here in fantasy.
27:45You cannot there's like very few running backs in the NFL.
27:49They're going to get 18 touches. I think that's fair and that's probably smart.
27:53And if the stinger is nothing and he's going to play, this is probably a smart call because I think Saquon Barkley looks fine.
28:00Like he had a 40 yard run in week one.
28:03I think he looks I don't think he's like washed by any means.
28:07It's just the Eagles offense. My fear is like you're just trading for David Montgomery, a guy who's going to get 18 carries for 48 yards every week.
28:15Right. But I think it's I'm upset because I have Saquon in my main high school week and I'm just like pissed about it.
28:22However, you're probably right. I think they get it.
28:24They have a get right game against the Bears defense this week.
28:28We'll see how that goes. And then, you know, going forward, it's not like a total gauntlet.
28:33They do play the Rams and Jags, which are tough.
28:36No, they have the Cowboys commanders giants. Depending on where you look, they have like the seventh or eighth easiest schedule rest of year for.
28:43Yeah. I think that's huge. Yeah. Hi, Vince. Do you agree with that?
28:47It's probably smart. He's thinking. It always depends whether the person regrets drafting the player.
28:52I know that's just I regret it. I'm telling you, I'm like, what I'm saying is maybe I'm just like that's the point of the exercise.
28:59It's like Craig's emotion right now is what's driving this to me is like, yeah, people might want to just get out.
29:06That's what that is what you're trying to identify is people who are like, I actually would love to sell low because I'm upset.
29:13Like you want the emotional decision Craig was just talking about.
29:16Like, like he never wanted Saquon and now he's stuck with him.
29:20And you're like, I'll fix this for you. And like, I think that's so if you find someone like that.
29:25Like, yeah, sure. Are you screw it? But all of these, I will say just just to remind you, all of these
29:32are a pretty big leap of faith. I think.
29:35Well, that's the thing. It's scary to draft for guys who are doing shitty.
29:39There is. And that's our trade for guys. Yeah.
29:41There are no players where you're like, yeah, no, they haven't been that bad, but you'll get a huge discount on them.
29:48The discount is because they're terrible or the team's really hard to watch.
29:52You know what I mean? Yeah. With that said, would you give up Brees Hall for Saquon?
29:57I don't think Brees because the, the, the jets have been good and he, Brees is so involved in the passing game.
30:03But the guys that I threw out like Hampton, I think I would like Hampton and another piece.
30:08I think I would do that because I'm terrified about the chargers like offense and their schedule.
30:13Wow. That's a guy like Scadaboo pick. I'm proud of you for saying that.
30:18Yeah. I don't think Brees, but I do think guys like Hampton Scadaboo H.
30:22I mean, people are trying to get away from a chance.
30:25So it's probably not going to happen. But, um, and then if, if you want to trade like a receiver, I don't know.
30:32I don't know how high you have to go.
30:34Like I would probably trade Devante Smith. I don't know if that's like not enough.
30:39Maybe you might have to throw in another piece with that.
30:42Um, but like look for a receiver that's had a really hot start to the season and maybe try and get Saquon out of that.
30:49I like it. DK's making calls here. I respect it.
30:52Fence sitter DK is like, fuck yeah. I'd trade Delmarion Hampton.
30:56You guys, you guys started asking me questions and I'm like, I guess I have to start answering stuff.
31:01Number three, buy low three minutes on the clock.
31:04I have Drake London receiver for the Falcons. And if you want to buy a free Kyle Pitts, tight end for the Falcons, who is maybe free.
31:12Not actually recommend. I'm not legally allowed to, uh, recommend Pitts.
31:15Do, do, do, do, do, do, do. The Penix is in.
31:18Drake London has 11 points in two weeks. He's already screaming at fans on the sideline that, uh, I'm going to fuck you up.
31:25And, uh, fans are demanding Jack Strand in two week, in week two.
31:29They're just being like, we demand Strand. We demand Strand.
31:32We demand to be taken seriously. The times are tough right now.
31:36The vibes are bad. And then the Falcons are going to go on Thursday night football.
31:40They're probably going to look terrible because Michael Penix is going to start.
31:44So it's kind of four quarterbacks in two, in three weeks, if you count to a not really playing, uh, having said that.
31:51I think Drake London was overdrafted in the beginning because we kind of knew the first month would be disaster for Atlanta.
31:57And now you could trade from way lower and just get the value for Drake London because Drake London was last season in 11 weeks.
32:05The first 11 weeks, Drake London was literally a top five receiver with the same amount of fantasy points through 11 weeks as Puka Nakua.
32:12Literally tied with Puka. And then here, Drake London hurt his knee.
32:16And then Michael Penix was hurt. And then it was Kirk Cousins.
32:19And the offense is different. So now that Michael Penix is back and his style of just throwing fucking balls, he just throws it up to Drake London.
32:27And that's Drake London's specialty, especially in the end zone.
32:30Drake London has a serious chance to just be a top five-ish receiver again.
32:34But right now the person who has them is looking at, uh, like 70 yards.
32:39And now the Falcons are going to embarrass themselves in prime time.
32:42And there's going to be this 10 day gap of being like, oh my God, Drake London was a terrible pick, but
32:49the Falcons will be practicing for those 10 days.
32:52So I actually think Drake London's a pretty good buy low.
32:55And then even if the person's like, no, I want to see the game.
32:59I think this game's going to go poorly too because there's Penix is no practice time.
33:04But then over the course of the rest of the season, I actually think every game Penix and London will play together.
33:10It'll be pretty good. The problem is, you know, can Penix stay healthy?
33:14But that's the point. It's just a huge discount because the Falcons are the worst team in the league right now.
33:20Is, is there a world in which Penix is a good quarterback?
33:24Are we, are we giving up on him already?
33:26Do you think, or you feel like, yeah, maybe he'll end up being really good.
33:31Like in real life? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, where are you on that?
33:35I guess is my question. I mean, it's funny because I think our draft analysis of Michael Penix and everyone's was pretty
33:41accurate, which is if he had no ACL tears, he would have, he deserved to be a top 10 pick probably top
33:4715, but he had two, which means his next one would be three.
33:51Yeah. And so how do we evaluate that? That's crazy.
33:54And that's honestly, it's exactly what happened, which is if he had had a normal timeline to develop, I actually think he could have been good.
34:02He is 26. He has started 12 games. Yep.
34:05And he's had three ACL tears. So unfortunately the cold rule of the jungle, like, no, I probably don't think he'll be a good NFL like long-term starter.
34:13He started nine games last season, had nine touchdowns, three picks.
34:16I will say the thing that really does make me like this call is that he, I think when he was playing
34:23London had the highest target rate in London was a top five receiver with Penix and before London kind of got banged
34:29up and everything went to shit in Atlanta, I think because you're getting a discount, I'll let this song finish.
34:35Bang. I think because you're getting the discount that Heifetz outlined, like people are just pissed and they want to get rid of them.
34:42It's worth taking the risk on Michael Penix staying healthy.
34:45That's the thing. And again, it could obviously go wrong, but I think that the Falcons are such a laughing stock.
34:51Whoever has Drake London is like, why did I take this player?
34:55And I think they're going to look bad in prime time this week, but that's going to be a result of practice.
35:01Yeah. But the thing is you don't have to flip whoever you took in the third round.
35:06It's not who you're sending away. I think that whoever's Drake London, it's probably going to panic.
35:11Would you trade Jalen Coker for London? That's a good example.
35:14I'm going to throw out like a name. Yeah.
35:17That's a good example. Yes. I think that's a perfect trade because on the surface, you're like, that's a terrible idea.
35:23Well, how long will it take Jalen, Drake London to get as many points as Coker?
35:28But if I told you two weeks ago that two weeks into the season, you could just flip Drake London for my
35:34Jalen Coker, you're like out of principle. Yes. And so I, yeah, that's a good example.
35:39I would do that. Ringer fantasy football shows brought to you by FanDuel.
35:43Thursday night football just got even better with FanDuel with early win.
35:46A fast start could be all you need to win big for Falcons versus Packers.
35:51Just bet the money line. Then if your team jumps out to a seven point lead at any point in the game, you'll win instantly.
35:58So whether your team scores in the opening drive or builds an early touchdown lead, you can be celebrating before the game's even over.
36:05Craig, you pointed out to me, Drake London's two to one to score a touchdown in this game.
36:11Yeah. He has like the fifth or sixth best odds to score a touchdown.
36:15If you look at what he's done with Michael Penix, scores a lot of touchdowns.
36:19So two to one feels even, even if you don't believe in the Falcons, Penix and Drake London have a proven connection.
36:26Do you think that's because of the 64 games so far this season, the Falcons two games are both in the bottom four for EPA, like expected points.
36:34I mean, look, they haven't been in the red zone one.
36:37So they probably need to get in there to get a touchdown.
36:41We should bet on red zone targets for Drake London.
36:44Where's that from Fandle? Is that in there? If that's in there, I would take that.
36:48But yeah, I don't mind two to one touchdown for Drake London.
36:52I think that's pretty good. Maybe Fandle will add that for us.
36:55Will the Falcons reach the red zone? Check out Fandle's early win for Falcons versus Packers in the Fandle app.

37:15This episode is brought to you by Carhartt. We spend a lot of time talking about what happens on the field.
37:21But what about everything that has to happen before anyone can play on it?
37:25The grass has to be grown. The stadium has to be built.
37:29The goalposts have to be welded. That's the work of tradespeople committed to getting every detail right.
37:34And Carhartt is proud to outfit those people. The crews making football possible.
37:38So this season, when you're watching the game, take a second to think about the people behind it.
37:43Learn more at carhartt.com slash join the trades. Next up.
37:46Craig. Rasheed Rice. Receiver for the Chiefs. Who's been completely Ken-mogged by Ken Walker so far this season.
37:51He has. And it's a very good point. Because the argument for Rasheed Rice used to be that he was an extension of the run game.
37:59And the Chiefs couldn't run the ball with Kareem Hunt and whoever was there.
38:03Pacheco or whatever. And so Rasheed Rice became the guy that was getting these easy Debo Samuel touches over the middle.
38:09And now Rasheed Rice has six catches in two games.
38:12And what's troubling is that both of those games were Chiefs wins where they scored more than 30 points.
38:18And Rasheed Rice just had six catches. And was kind of just like any other guy on the team.
38:23I'm going to buy the fact that every time in the past that Rasheed Rice has been on the field, he's a top 10 wide receiver in fantasy.
38:32He has been. His last 17 games before this year with the Chiefs, he had 120 catches.
38:37And I'm not super impressed. Or I shouldn't say impressed because I am impressed with Travis Kelsey.
38:42But I don't feel great about any other non-Kenneth Walker option on the Chiefs long term.
38:46Travis Kelsey turns 37 in two weeks. Xavier Worthy hasn't hit 25 yards yet in a game.
38:51And everybody else is ancillary. So I'm like, Rasheed Rice has been incredibly mediocre and super disappointing.
38:56If you can trade, I wrote some names down.
38:59Like, I would trade Christian Watson for him. I would trade Mike Evans for him.
39:03I would trade A-Chan, Brees Hall, Kyron Williams. Like, I am much more willing to...
39:08Oh, those are some aggressive names. I like that.
39:10I'm much more willing to... Travis A-Chan or Devon A-Chan?
39:13Either. I'm much better. But, like, I'm willing to bet that the number one guy on the Chiefs who's been good every
39:20time he's been on the field for the last three years, even though they have Ken Walker, I'm still okay with it.
39:26Are you worried at all that Ken Walker is clearly the number one option at the goal line now, not Rasheed Rice?
39:33And that Rasheed Rice is kind of getting these, like, extension of run game throws that are now just runs?
39:39And then Kelsey also kind of looks better now?
39:41Not really. That's my fear. Rasheed Rice had a red zone touchdown in week one, and they schemed up Xavier Worthy for
39:48a touchdown inside the five-yard line on Sunday. Like, that just...
39:51And Rasheed Rice was open on that play. Yeah, but no one expected Xavier Worthy to catch a football.
39:57They were shocked. That's true. I'm willing to bet on it's okay that the Chiefs have a good run game now.
40:03I think Rasheed Rice is still a great option.
40:06I like this one a lot. I almost submitted this one for myself.
40:09I do think that there is a little... It's a little bit more of a stretch than the other guys that he's going to...
40:16That's why he's lower on this list. Yeah, like, re-inherit his previous volume.
40:20Because I do think Kenneth Walker is a huge factor here.
40:23He's basically taking away a lot of the, like Craig said, extension of the run game stuff.
40:28Kenneth Walker has a 23% target rate right now.
40:31I don't really think that's going to continue all year.
40:34That's the thing, is I think at some point, they're going to want to pull back off the throttle a little bit on Kenneth Walker.
40:41He's averaging 28 touches a game. And I don't know if they want to do that all year long.
40:47They've already talked about Emmitt Johnson getting more touches.
40:50I do think... And the other variable here is Rasheed Rice is still ramping up for an injury.
40:55So I think... I think these are a lot...
40:58There's a lot of factors. There's sort of a lot of variables in the air right now.
41:03But, like, I do think as the year goes on, they're going to ease off of Kenneth Walker a little bit and
41:09then start building more in for Rice as it goes along.
41:12Gannessy, dude. What a time. Would you rather have Drake London or Rasheed Rice?
41:16Rest of the season. Rasheed Rice. The difference is the Falcons suck and Michael Penix will probably get hurt.
41:22Patrick Mahomes or Michael Penix? Yeah. Penix will probably get hurt again and you'll be back to Jack Strand.
41:28That's the issue with Drake London, whereas Rasheed Rice is Patrick Mahomes.
41:31Yeah. Even if London has a higher ceiling, I'd still probably just take Rice.
41:35I think London's value has dropped more from two and a half weeks ago.
41:39But Rasheed Rice, people are... Yeah, people are still concerned.
41:42Okay. Next up, DK. You had George Pickens, receiver for the Dallas Cowboys.
41:46Yeah, I asked you guys about this guy the other day in terms of is he a shart?
41:52Like, we're kind of worried about the beginning of the season for George Pickens.
41:56You know, last year he averaged over 14 points per game and half PPR.
42:00This year he's averaged five and a half points per game.
42:03I don't know if you can expect or even hope for the ceiling that he had last year where CeeDee Lamb was
42:09hurt and he ended up getting just a ton of volume.
42:13But I still think he's got way more potential than what we've seen in the first two games.
42:18I think you're buying low. And people that have him are probably really worried that CeeDee Lamb looks fantastic through two games.
42:24And maybe, you know, the worry is it's just going to be the CeeDee Lamb show the rest of the season.
42:31But I do think if you look under the hood a little bit, Pickens, according to Fantasy Points, Pickens is expected fantasy
42:37points per game is 13.2 points per game and a half PPR.
42:41He's only averaging 5.7. So he's basically just missed out on a few big plays.
42:45He had a big drop in week one. He's drawn a couple of defensive pass interference penalties that could have been big plays for him.
42:52He's still getting a very solid target rate, over 20% and a very solid targets.
42:57First read target rate, again, I think it's like 21% according to Fantasy Points.
43:01So his numbers are still OK. Not last year levels, but still very good.
43:05And I think he's a really, really talented player.
43:08And this is a good passing offense with the Cowboys.
43:11I trust Dak to get in the football. It's basically just gone horrible from the first two weeks.
43:16And people that are panicking on him might want to get rid of him now.
43:20I really think he's a buy. Especially because he's George Pickens.
43:24And if he has three bad games in a row, and you're Dak Prescott, you fear that this guy's just going to check out.
43:31You got to feed him. Right. You got to feed George Pickens.
43:34You got to keep him happy. You don't want the body points to turn.
43:38Yeah. I mean, I think this is... I totally agree.
43:41I mean, Pickens will probably not be as good as he was last year.
43:45He'll be certainly better than he was now. I feel like this is one where you almost need him to play poorly
43:52one more time to actually get him off someone's team.
43:55I think same with Rishi Rice. These guys are good middle tier options here because they're both good players who are young and good offenses.
44:02And they've had underwhelming two games in a row.
44:05I totally agree. If it happens three times in a row, you have a better shot.
44:10Exactly. You need the three strikes. It's like Colston Loveland and Bird and the Saquon.
44:14It's like there's injuries and backup quarterbacks or Saquon has the stinger and isn't playing well.
44:19And now we're like, all right, these are just guys that didn't have good games for a couple weeks.
44:24So I almost think you can start the conversation now and the person's like, I'm not trading him.
44:30And then they play badly again. And you're like, and they're like, okay, maybe I'll trade this guy.
44:35Panic sets in fear. He's just like incredibly talented and in the red zone.
44:39Like the Cowboys have just an offense that you want to be a part of the whole season.
44:44Yeah. DK, would you flip Parker Washington for George Pickens?
44:47Would you be like Parker Washington? Hell no. Truthfully, I don't know if I would trade Parker Washington for anyone right now.
44:54Legitimately, there's probably like four wide receivers. It's like Amonrod, JSN, Jamar Chase, and Puka.
44:58I don't know if there's anyone else. I think Olave, I think my biggest fear, just this is super aside, but like
45:05my biggest fear this year is that Olave is going to be my biggest miss by far.
45:10Because I was, I was worried about the concussions thing, but man, Olave has been incredible.
45:14Would you trade Justin Jefferson? Would you accept Justin Jefferson for Parker Washington?
45:18No. I think I would. I think I would out of principle, and then it would not work out.
45:24And then it would. Like it would go poorly.
45:26I think Parker Washington, he has the second highest target rate so far.
45:30I'm like everything that we thought could happen is happening.
45:33I'm like, I'm not jumping off this. You would.
45:36What about you would trade Parker Washington away for CeeDee Lamb?
45:39Yeah. I think that's like the level you start to like.
45:42It's literally like five guys. Yeah. So we're really saying it's Jamar Chase, JSN, Amon Ra, and CeeDee Lamb.
45:48And then what? You're saying it's in. Alave. You would actually.
45:51If I offered you right now, Justin Jefferson for Parker Washington at a redraft league, you'd just be like, no, I'm good.
45:58Dude, it actually might be five guys. It legitimately might be Amon Ra, JSN, Jamar Chase, Puka, CeeDee Lamb, and then Parker Washington.
46:04Is that right? Alave. Yeah. I think Alave's in there too.
46:08Alave. I would think about. I don't know if I'm doing that automatically.
46:11Yeah. So does that mean he's a sell high?
46:14Probably. I'm like, and one of these. So it's like, does that mean you should.
46:19That's crazy, dude. He's like. I'm just saying like, it's one of those where it's like, should you just kind of sell the, sell the peak?
46:26Yeah. I'd probably take Alave. Alave's really good. But yeah, there's also obviously the elite running backs I would trade for to send Parker.
46:33So we're saying he's the 12th player right now.
46:36Something like that. That's kind of wild. That's wild.
46:39Well, I mean, that's something. It might not be rational, but that's how I feel.
46:43Yeah. That's a good way to put it because that's really what you're going on.
46:47It's how people feel. Speaking of which, my next bylo is I have Travis Achan running back for the Saints.
46:53Ooh, that's a good one. You also think people are panicking like it won't.
46:57And this is a crucial. I'm panicking on this.
47:00This is. So Travis Achan is like 17 carries for 70 yards in two games.
47:04He split work with Kendrick Miller in week one.
47:07He was outtouched 10 to 2 by Alvin Kamara in the first half.
47:11And this is a good example of a couple just principles that I'm going to rely on.
47:16Football principles. They paid Travis Achan the same amount of money as the Chiefs paid Ken Walker.
47:2112-ish, 14-ish million dollars per year. They're going to give Travis Achan the ball.
47:25He's on the field. And the Saints, you know, they're messing around with giving Kamara touches in certain places.
47:31If you look at the game, Travis Achan is so much more juiced than Alvin Kamara.
47:35It's not even funny. He's a good enough blocker to be on the field.
47:40And I will say this. The thing about getting a trade done is we always talk about this.
47:45The blurb test. Which is when you. No one has ever made a trade in fantasy football ever.
47:50Without clicking on the guy's name and reading what it says.
47:53And in the same way that, you know, maybe certain people in the world running the country.
47:58Maybe or whatever are. Influenced by the last thing that was said to them.
48:02Wow, we're getting blurred. The truth is you need the blurb to be negative or you won't really make the trade.
48:09The person won't deal the person if the blurb says it'll be okay.
48:13If the blurb's like, it's going to be bad.
48:15And Travis Achan, like the blurb is like, I don't know, man.
48:19He's losing all these touches. You have to search so high and wide to find anything positive about Achan right now.
48:25I don't know if there's anything written about him positive.
48:28Everyone's panicking. And if you Google Travis Achan, you're like, oh, what happens?
48:32Everyone's like, oh, this is bad. And like, it's going to change.
48:35And so again, I think you get Travis Achan for really cheap.
48:39He might have been someone's fourth pick. And he will be fine.
48:42Like he will not be in a first round running back, but he'll be good.
48:47I'm straight up panicking about Achan right now. This is a great one.
48:50I would be absolutely terrified. Heifetz, who do you think you could give away to get Travis Achan?
48:56I don't know. This is why it's two weeks.
48:58The truth is you need him to be on someone whose team is 0-2 because it's hard to get a running back.
49:05And this is where it's hard to do this because I know it's not helpful unless I say a name.
49:11But the truth is, I feel like no one ever wants to give away a running back for a receiver.
49:17Like if you're like, I'll give you a receiver for this running back.
49:21No one ever wants to do that. So you almost have to figure out something.
49:25Let's throw out some names. So like. How about this?
49:28Like if you want to do a little combo meal.
49:31R.J. Harvey and Debo Samuel. Like would you give those two away to get Achan?
49:35Yeah. Yeah, I would. I think so too. I would.
49:38I think. What about like Terry McLaurin and, you know, a running back like Tootin?
49:43Jalen Warren. Terry McLaurin. Terry McLaurin. That's actually a good example.
49:46I think the short answer is yes, because Terry, while I'm actually bullish that Terry when Jaden comes back, I don't think
49:52Terry McLaurin will have a ton of value with Marcus Mariota.
49:56What about, it does really hit. What about the explosion?
49:59Why did we get rid of it? What about this?
50:01The explosion at the end is insane. DK Metcalf.
50:04Why did we get rid of that drop? DK Metcalf and Quinshawn Judkins.
50:08Ooh. I think you could ask for someone else in that trade back with Travis Achan.
50:13I think if you're giving up Judkins and Metcalf, you're like, Judkins has been.
50:17I think you could do better than that. But I mean, I think, look, I don't think Travis Achan is going to
50:23be like, the Ken Walker situation is not on the table, but I think that he will, the Saints offense is good.
50:30Tyler Shuck is good. But I just. Would you send Jameson Williams straight up for Travis Achan?
50:35I actually, well, that's a good segue. I don't know if you knew this or not, but my next player is also Jameson Williams.
50:42Oh. There we go. So. I don't know what to make of this guy.
50:46Honestly. You know, I've always had something weird about Jameson Williams where I never believe it and I never draft him.
50:52And then he has big games and I just kind of let it happen.
50:56And for some reason, I'm never interested. So he's the biggest boom bust player in fantasy right now.
51:02I think Jameson Williams, he's the player who has like two point games and 30 point games, I think as much as
51:08anyone or two and 20 point games. That is really hard emotionally, but there's a very good mathematic argument that that's better
51:14for you to win games because a weird thing of fantasy is that a lot of the matches aren't that close.
51:21And that having eight points feels better than two, but it usually doesn't matter.
51:25You actually need guys to freaking explode to win.
51:27Explosion games. It's like, it's like the real life NFL where you get an explosive play on any given drive.
51:33You're going to win. Are you going to score points at a very high rate?
51:38A little bit of Ricky Bobby. Like to just look at the ringer league this week, there was one matchup and we'll talk about the league later.
51:46There's one matchup within 10 points and there were like three that were outside 40.
51:50Like that's actually in fantasy a lot more often than not.
51:53But Jameson Williams, he has six catches for 78 yards this season.
51:57And he should have had double that literally like he had a touchdown to like the one yard line.
52:02He had a big drop last week that should have been for 60 yards.
52:07The Lions, the defense sucks. They're going to give the ball a lot.
52:10Jameson, it's going to be a roller coaster. You will start him some weeks and hate him, but he is going to
52:17be a massive part of this offense. And I, I just, the, the, they're just going to be a huge part of
52:23the offense and they're going to have to throw a ton this season because the defense is worse and already banged up.
52:30And I just think they're going to be in constant shootouts like that bills game.
52:34It does feel like Jameson Williams leads the NFL in training camp reports about how he looks different this year.
52:40Yeah. Every, every August it's like Jameson Williams showed up to camp every August.
52:44He looks, he looks electric muscle put on weight.
52:47He understands the offense so much better. Or this is maybe it's the shorts, but like last two seasons, he's basically like
52:53a thousand yards and seven touchdowns each of the last two years, which is like, he's kind of like what I think
53:00people wanted Xavier worthy to be for the chiefs.
53:03And that just never happened. But, but when you catch Jameson Williams on the right game, it is electric.
53:08When he's like on a crosser 20 yards down the field and like rounding up the sideline, there are very few players more electric than him.
53:16Can we play a game right now? I don't know if this timer is going to run it or not, but I
53:22think what, what happens is Jameson Williams is really fast and people's brains break when a receiver is really fast.
53:28So fast. Can I play a game? I just want to know if by NFL standards, you think this receiver is really fast.
53:35Really fast. Okay. Jamar Chase. Yeah. Yeah. Puka Nakua.
53:38No, no. Jackson Smith and Jigba. No. Speed's not his game.
53:41Amon Ross St. Brown. No. CD Lamb. No. Not really.
53:44Justin Jefferson. You see where I'm going with this?
53:46Justin Jefferson. No. Coming out of the draft, it was not considered.
53:50He was a 4-4 guy. What is your point?
53:53Well, I'll keep going. Chris Olave. But your point is that you.
53:56He was fast. George Pickens. Speed is overrated. And I'm saying Jameson Williams to your point, but I think he's a buy
54:03low because he has like 11 points and people are probably mad about it.
54:07And he probably needs another bad week. You can get him.
54:10But my overall point is speed is just overrated in receivers.
54:13And it's more valuable for getting everyone else the ball.
54:16But you recommend him a fast guy. I am in this scenario.
54:20Yeah. But like fast receivers don't work out. Anyway, Jameson Williams.
54:23Take it. Take it. Let me throw out one variable.
54:26And this is something that we talked about in the offseason.
54:29It has to do with Jared Goff and the way that he plays in a dome versus outside.
54:34Okay. In starting on November 15th, the Lions play one game for the rest of the regular season.
54:40And that would be week 17 against Chicago, which whose defense sucks.
54:43Yeah. They play one game outside. I am glad that you brought that up because it's like, would you trade Jameson?
54:49Would you like give away Devonta Smith for Jameson Williams?
54:52Like, of course not. No, I wouldn't. And yet in the fantasy playoffs, like week 15, week 16, week 17, the Eagles
54:59and Devonta Smith are going to face like the Seahawks, then the Texans and like the Niners.
55:04I know they're going to be in Philadelphia in December.
55:07And then, yeah, the Lions are going to be in a dome.
55:10I think if I think in big tournaments where you have to be like the best team out of a thousand or
55:17whatever, worrying about that kind of schedule thing is useful.
55:20But in like a regular 12 team league, you probably getting just got to make the playoffs.
55:25Yeah, you're getting a little cute there. But yes, I do think that does.
55:29That is a big variable because I think golf is way better inside.
55:33He's certainly way better at home. And so that will there's potential for shootout games with those games.
55:38And I think that's where Jameson can show up.
55:41So I'm on the I'm like right in the middle on the fence about this one.
55:45I don't really know what I feel about James Williams.
55:48I'm probably not personally going out and trying to acquire him, but I can see that I can see the math in it.
55:55You have to give it another week, probably. And then the point is, after three bad weeks, people think about benching the player.
56:02And then once they're benching the player, then they're like, well, I might as well trade this fucking guy.
56:07So I think maybe Jameson's one of those guys.
56:10I don't disagree with you saying we disrespected Dan Dan enough.
56:13Oh, Craig, you had Quentin Johnson receiver for the Chargers as a bylaw.
56:17This is a real this is a real bylaw.
56:20Look, this this exercise is look this exercise is kind of basically us saying we're doubling down on our takes that haven't worked out after two weeks.
56:28And I will admit Quentin Johnston is a huge miss of mine.
56:31I know the two of you liked him as well as a show.
56:35We all endorse Quentin Johnson this year. So far this year, he has three catches for 24 yards and no touchdowns in two games.
56:42And a bad drop that people probably saw as well on a great Herbert throw.
56:47He's just a full on bench player at this point.
56:50I don't I can't imagine anyone is starting him in their league.
56:53He's now probably the fifth wide receiver on your roster.
56:56And I'm just like, look, he leads the team in targets and target share.
57:00And I know that Ladd McConkie's banged up, but that might also be the point.
57:05That is a plus. Yeah. Yeah. So it's like in like you could get.
57:09Could you trade Tony Pollard for Quentin Johnson? Probably.
57:11I mean, you could probably trade a defense. You could probably trade like a backup hand, like Tank Bigsby.
57:17You could probably trade for Quentin Johnson. Oh, for sure.
57:20I don't know if I'd give up Bigsby. I think that you could.
57:24I think you could trade a defense for Quentin Johnson.
57:27He's a throw in. You could trade a middling tight end.
57:30You could trade Mark Andrews. Like a running back not doing like a Jalen Warren, a guy who gets like nine points a game.
57:37You could. I don't think you would have to give him up.
57:40I think people are going to cut Quentin Johnson.
57:43Yeah. I think this is a great call, though.
57:46In some leagues, for sure, I could see that.
57:48No other principle than this. Everyone now agrees that the Chargers suck and the Chargers season's over.
57:53Everyone has unanimously declared the Chargers season over, which is when you're like, no, they're probably going to bounce back now because
58:00everyone just has given up and sold all their stock.
58:03And it's like, yeah, Quentin Johnson's like whatever, a notch above free.
58:06It's a good call. They're playing the Bills who, you know, Goff just went nuts, put up 30 on them.
58:12Stroud and the Texans played really well against the Bills in week one.
58:16I'm not saying the Chargers are going to be great in their back or whatever, but it's like he's free.
58:22It's Justin Herbert. It's Mikey Daniel. If you want to take another shot of settle down juice, maybe, just maybe this could work out.
58:29And again, he's like literally free. Any other bylaws from you guys?
58:33I think if you're looking for a quarterback, Dan, we went, oh, we're now getting ahead on Dan, Dan.
58:38Okay. Oh, did it, did it not play? No, it hasn't.
58:41Well, we'll kill it and we're saving time. We'll add time.
58:45Now we'll start three minutes again. Super respect. Super respect.
58:48Okay. Mega respecting it. I think we got to mention at least one quarterback with the amount of quarterback injuries and things
58:54and kind of weirdness that the quarterback situation has had.
58:57Drake may for the Patriots. I feel like people are probably panicking a little bit on this guy and forget.
59:03It's easy to forget. Yeah. It's easy to forget that he was the runner up for MVP last year and he was the QB too.
59:10And also the runner up in fantasy, I believe he was second.
59:14I think the, yeah, exactly. Second, second highest scoring quarterback.
59:17A lot of that had to do with him scrambling a bunch, which he's still doing and him having incredible efficiency and accuracy downfield, which is not happening.
59:25So I do think he was always due for a little bit of regression from what we saw last year.
59:31He was extremely, extremely efficient. And I, and that kind of thing is just not going to happen every single year for most quarterbacks.
59:38But that being said, he went up against two really tough defenses in the Seahawks and the Steelers.
59:43Um, you know, and I think he's, he's going to continue to improve as the year goes on.
59:49Their schedule is not necessarily a gauntlet. I know that they have a first place schedule, but it's not the hardest schedule in the world.
59:56Um, I think people are panicking as, as, as Craig said, and think he just sucks now or thinks he has the yips or something.
60:03Dude, I don't think that's the case. If you look at fantasy totals, just points per game at quarterback dead last Cooper
60:10rush third to two and a half points a game.
60:13Yeah. Second to dead last Aaron Rogers third to dead last.
60:16Drake may that is not going to continue all year.
60:19I do not believe that that will continue. I think he's going to, you don't think he's gonna be the third worst quarterback in the NFL.
60:27Yeah, you're right. I do not think that. Thanks.
60:29That's what I'm telling you right now. I think he's, I think he still has top 10 potential.
60:34All right, but let's talk Turkey who straight up.
60:37Like if you, if you're re-ranking the quarterbacks this year, where is Drake may starting now?
60:42Um, I still think he would be in my top 10.
60:45I let me, I would have to look at the list like, and really feel that out, but yeah, top 10 and,
60:52and I think like the, the idea that I had is, is trading Bryce young for Bryce for, for, for Drake may right now.
60:59Do you think some people might take that? Well, you'd have to add, you'd have to include something.
61:04Bryce may, Bryce young plus a receiver. What is with you and plus?
61:08I feel like I've never heard this from anybody.
61:10I like it. I like it. That sounds good to me.
61:14Oh, I don't know. I thought, I thought that was the thing.
61:17Maybe I read that up. I feel like I've known you for seven, seven years just on this show.
61:23And I feel like I've never heard you say that till today.
61:26You'd probably, well, you know, something good. Like, would you, if you had Bryce, if you had Drake may, would you trade
61:33him away for Bryce young and Jamison Williams? No, no.
61:36Bryce young and Garrett Wilson. I think you have to take, I think I would probably do that.
61:41Yeah. Do that. Okay. But I do, but I'm saying, I think you should go get him is, is what makes it kind of hard here.
61:49I still have a lot of confidence in Drake may from a fantasy point of view.
61:53Um, so you would, you would give up Bryce young and Garrett Wilson to acquire Drake may.
61:58I think that's too steep. I think you can, I think you could get him for less because I think people are panicking about how bad he's been.
62:07Okay. I think you could do Bryce young plus, uh, shit.
62:10I don't know. Throw it or throw it like, like a Roma dunze or something like that.
62:15But Jamison Williams is a no one's doing that.
62:18Yes. No, I would, I would give up Jamison Williams and Bryce.
62:21Sorry if I was confusing there. I would, I would trade Bryce and.
62:25Yeah, but I'm saying, would you give up Drake may for Jamison Williams and Bryce young?
62:30No, no. So who, who would you give up Drake may for?
62:33I'm telling you to trade for Drake may. I know, but you have to think about it from both ways.
62:39I'm saying offer, offer up Bryce young plus like a receiver, uh, you know, Devante, uh, not Devante Adams.
62:45Um, like a J like a Jalen Coker level receiver.
62:48So if you, but so if you have Bryce young, sorry, if you have Drake may, you would give him up for Bryce young and Coker.
62:55No, I don't understand why you're flipping it on me because I'm saying go, I'm going to do this.
63:01I know, but I'm saying the people that are willing to give up Drake may are panicking and which I'm not doing.
63:07So I think it's kind of like a weird way that you're flipping the question, but I understand what you're saying.
63:13I'm just like, he just got used to asking, being asked questions.
63:17You're like, you're like, give it, it's like you're confusing me.
63:20He just got used to questions. I don't understand your tactics.
63:23The whole point is when you make a trade in theory, if you want to make a trade that the other person sees as advantageous for them.
63:31I know, but I'm confident of Drake may and some people are not is what I do.
63:36Do you not understand what I'm saying? I do.
63:39It's just funny to hear you be like, I would not do that.
63:43I'm like, well, okay. I mean, look, DK does have to be unreasonable.
63:47I get what he's saying. I do get it.
63:49Cause you're like, you're, you're going after the people who are panicking and you're not.
63:54So I do get it. This is funny to hear you be like, no shot.
63:58I love that. You're like, yeah, all from Roma dudes.
64:01And they're like, would you take Roma dudes? You're like, no, the bears are on their third quarterback.
64:06Of course I wouldn't do that. I like Drake may.
64:09Some people might hate him at this point. Yeah.
64:12Okay. That was great. I want to mention a few other people that might be good.
64:17Let's that. Trades. All right. The truth is fleecing people is really worth it in fantasy.
64:21It doesn't happen as much as you'd like. Yeah.
64:24Well, it's, it's, I actually think the ability to make trades with people is more valuable over like a longterm with like
64:31in your league with people for 10 or 20 years.
64:34Like you want to do business with these people for a while.
64:37It's not a liquid market. You know what I mean?
64:40It's like, yeah. The anyway, I want to mention a few other people that I don't know if we have the ability
64:47to, or the, the, the, the conviction to be like, these are definitely good by lows, but people that you could get for way cheaper than they went.
64:55And I want to just throw out the charges, as Craig said, I do think that Justin Herbert, if like, like part
65:01of me is like Justin Herbert, I don't know if the charges are going to bounce back, but he's never been cheaper.
65:08Like I, in seven years, Justin Herbert's probably never been cheaper than he is right now.
65:12People would probably give him up too. Yeah. Like, oh yeah.
65:16They're going to, Justin Herbert's not going to be played this week in fantasy.
65:20They're going to bench him. You're like, what? Just, if you still like, just want to buy the dip.
65:25Devon Achan for the Dolphins, who the Dolphins suck.
65:28He hasn't been horrible in fantasy. He's like 10 ish points, but he's at 11 points per game, which is who he's been.
65:35They're giving him the ball a ton. That's another player that like, I think you could instantly acquire for like a lot
65:41less than they initially, you know, he's not like the 15th pick.
65:45Carnal Tate. I don't know if any players values drop more like that.
65:49Do you have wherever you took Carnal Tate? There's like zero chance he'd go there now.
65:53Yeah. I don't know if I believe in it though.
65:56That's the thing. That's why he's in this separate section.
65:59I don't know if I'm like. Educated guest. It's just a smart guest to pick the fourth overall pick in the draft.
66:06Who's a wide receiver rookie who usually rookies do better in the second half of the season.
66:11He's one of those where he'll probably continue to be bad for two more months and then you can get for free in week nine.
66:18We'll all write him off. And then Carnal Tate could be like incredible from Thanksgiving on.
66:23I just want to note that like he's the Titans look so bad.
66:27And the Washington, which Terry McLaurin, Stefan Diggs, Jen Daniels is hurt.
66:30If you think Jen Daniels would come back in a reasonable amount of time, I'm like, man, Terry should have had like
66:37three more touchdowns this season, maybe four over the first two weeks than he already did.
66:41I don't even think I'd play Terry McLaurin until Jen Daniels comes back because I think their connection is so important.
66:48But if Jen does come back this season, we'll see what happens with his elbow.
66:52I'm like, man, Terry could be solid. It's like a thin it's a hard way to live.
66:57But I think that once people see Marcus Mariota play the Seahawks, whoever is Terry McLaurin is going to fucking freak out.
67:03Yeah, the Seahawks have made everybody look terrible. So it's going to be pretty ugly this week.
67:08Our very own Austin Gales just texted us saying that he traded for Justin Herbert and Colston Loveland.
67:14Yeah, I think that's smart. It's like an experiment in value.
67:17It's like you have to be really dispassionate about it or whatever the word is.
67:21It is. It's very rational. Yes. Odds are that those are good trades.
67:25What did Austin give up? I'm sure he'll text us now.
67:28One sec, he said. One sec. He's like, I don't remember.
67:32He's like, I'm too busy grinding trades. Can we talk while we're here about Austin doing trades Catan style, Settlers of Catan,
67:38which is like in Settlers of Catan, you make trades in front of everybody for resources.
67:43Austin makes trades in the group chat in front of the entire league.
67:47Yeah, I kind of like that. It's like an orgy style.
67:50It's just everyone's watching. Yeah, I know that. He just negotiates publicly.
67:53I have a couple dynasty leagues where people will.
67:56Oh, he gave up Chase Brown, Pickens, Tucker Craft and Willis.
67:59Austin's awesome. Oh, that's a lot. Oh, it's a keeper league.
68:03He says, Kostin Loveland's a keeper in round 14 next year.
68:06That makes sense. That actually. Okay. Thank you for that context.
68:09What I was going to say was real quick with the Catan thing.
68:13I have a league where on Sleeper, you can like add a nickname for players.
68:17It's like a format that you can just add a nickname for your own players.
68:22And a lot of people in my leagues will just put a price.
68:262027 second. This is dynasty leagues. So like a 2027 second, 2027 third.
68:29It's like a yard sale. And I love it because it's like, oh, I kind of want that.
68:35I think that's fair. Or you can like try and get a little bit less than that or whatever.
68:40You don't prefer. So you like that better than the app you make us use for this freaking dynasty league we're in.
68:47That's like 30 years old. Looks like the Jurassic Park computer interface that no one can log into.
68:52If it's if you want to go ahead and transfer all the rosters, go ahead.
68:56That's what you can do. If you would let me do that to Sleeper, I would do it.
69:02Okay. Done. Really? I don't want to fucking do it.
69:05You're not going to follow through on this. I'm not the only commissioner, by the way.
69:09It's not my choice completely, but sure. So it's not done.
69:13Well, I will give into that. Yes, I'm fine with it.
69:16If you do the legwork, go for it. You know, this year in our high school league, we switched over from Yahoo.
69:22To Sleeper. And I don't like it as much.
69:25Yeah. I like Yahoo more. And we have no sponsorship attachments to any of this.
69:29This is completely me. I just think Sleeper is like too chaotic.
69:33It's too colorful. It's like everything's Gen Z. Yeah.
69:36Honestly, it's like maybe my old person in me is like coming out.
69:39But like, I just think Yahoo looks more legible.
69:42And Sleeper's like all over the place. And it doesn't look like my team page that I like.
69:47Sleeper, you know those bars that have multiple floors?
69:50Sleeper's like one of those bars. And like one of the floors is like very much my speed.
69:55And the other one, I'm like, I'm too old to be up here.
69:59Yeah. Like the roof is hopping. And I'm like, I can't.
70:02Like this is like a rave. And that's how I feel going through like some of the like other buttons when I hit him by accident.
70:10This episode is brought to you by Chevrolet. Chevy drivers need a truck that shows up the same way they do.
70:16That's why Chevy Silverado is number one in manufacturer loyalty.
70:19So they can go where others won't. Make their own way there and always get it done.
70:24And as long as Chevy people keep showing up, we'll keep building trucks that do the same.

70:45Why wait? Okay. Ringer Fantasy Football League. It's going pretty well for Deacon.
70:49And I, we're in first place. We're both undefeated.
70:51And everyone else is one and one except Mallory and Bill who were in last place.
70:56That's right. We all won this week. I kind of had an elite comeback last night.
71:01Last night, Monday night. Who got you that? Devontae?
71:03I had Devontae. It was one of those. Ooh.
71:06Once a season, maybe once every two seasons, you get that night where everything goes weirdly right.
71:11And it's what keeps you coming back. It's like birdieing the 18th hole.
71:15And you're like. Yeah, exactly. It's like that. You hit one shot in golf and you're like, I have to practice.
71:21Totally. I was down 12 and I had Devontae and Sal had Malik Neighbors.
71:25And I'm like, man, Devontae's got to outscore Malik Neighbors by 12 points.
71:29I even joked with you guys, which I now feel bad about.
71:33I'm like, oh, maybe, maybe Malik Neighbors could tweak something.
71:35Maybe get a cramp. Nothing serious. Just enough to kind of knock him out for a little bit.
71:41That literally happened. Because in both you were like, Devontae can never do that.
71:45Devontae had like 25 points at halftime. I ended up beating Sal by like 15.
71:49And I'm now in love with fantasy football. I'm in love with Devontae Adams.
71:53He's back, baby. I feel fucking great. I'm in sixth place, so I can't get too excited.
71:58But Bill and Mal being 0-2 is kind of hilarious.
72:01I think it's funny that Heifetz said we're in first place.
72:05I'm in first place. He's in second place. I know.
72:08Just to be clear. Just to delineate a little bit.
72:11I've scored more points. So I'm in first place.
72:13A lot more points. Heifetz is in second. I mean, that's not how like the Ringer 107 works.
72:18We're all tied. And we just pick who's first or second.
72:22So it's up to me. Did they release the Ringer 107 update?
72:25We literally forgot to make a fifth pick. I tried to submit one before the game started.
72:30They said no. Because there's a deadline that we didn't hit.
72:33But still kind of a... We're not going to win that battle.
72:37We're just making all our picks on Friday now.
72:40Did we go 3-1 despite not having a fifth pick?
72:43We did. And once again, even though we did not make a pick, everyone in this competition is 5-5.
72:48Except Raheem's in last. And Sheila and Billy are in first.
72:51And yet, despite that, they're putting us last. It's literally...
72:54Everyone's at 5-5. And yet Bill, House, and Sal are above us in Tabundo.
72:59And then we're last. Even though we won. And then...
73:01So they're making it look like we're in sixth.
73:04When we're tied for second. Should we do four games every week?
73:08Just four games every week? And then we just save a game?
73:11Basically, we have to go 3-1 every week. Yeah.
73:14Fuck. That would be amazing. And that's like... We probably won't win.
73:17But think about everyone, if we beat anyone, helps that they'll be.
73:21I know. It was just sheer incompetence. But we still went 3-1.
73:24I will say, I'm a little disappointed in the Ringer Fantasy League group chat.
73:29Thought it'd be a little more fiery. I was trying to send some memes on Monday night.
73:34Talking about my resurrection because of Devonta Adams. I didn't give a fuck, Craig.
73:38My quarterback was freaking being... He would have been carted off if Caleb Williams hadn't ruined that.
73:43So he had to walk on his season-ending injury down the tunnel.
73:46And you want me to worry about Devonta Adams?
73:49Well, there's 10 other people in the league that aren't you.
73:52So yeah, I was hoping anybody could text me.
73:55Well, that's a good point. Yeah. I understand why you didn't.
73:58But there's a lot of other people. I just want some...
74:01I want some zest in there. You know what I mean?
74:04Yeah. Yeah. I'll try and help you, Craig. Okay.
74:07I don't know how far we're going to get.
74:10All right. I also want to say, Bill... I was going to say memes didn't work.
74:14Should I apologize to Bill? Because Bill said that...
74:17Well, Bill took Brandon Aubrey in the eighth round.
74:20And I should apologize to Bill because Brandon Aubrey was his second best player this week.
74:24And I beat Bill by 50. And if Bill had not had Brandon Aubrey, I would have beat Bill by 60.
74:31So that was probably a good pick. So the two guys who took kickers in the middle round are two of the
74:37bottom three scoring teams in the league. Yes. Okay.
74:40We'll see. It's a long season, you know? 17 games.
74:43It is indeed. 16, really. Should we do Fantasy Court?
74:46Let's do it. Definitely don't tell anyone about this thing that you're doing.
74:50I don't really want to be handcuffed. Night to me is when it's dark.
74:54Yes. Night to me is when it's dark. I'm so happy that's there.
74:57Honestly, just play it again. I'm so happy that's why I'm there.
75:01Just play the fucking thing again. Definitely don't tell anyone about this thing that you're doing.
75:06I don't really want to be handcuffed. Night to me is when it's dark.
75:10Damn, I kind of missed the definition of an object now.
75:13We got to have both. We got to put the object back and then get the night to me is when it's dark.
75:20We got to. That's pretty great. All right. This email is from Ben from Northern Virginia.
75:25Benny. Benny. All right. Fantasy Court is in session.
75:27Ben writes, breakfast today. Large glass of water. Two cups of coffee.
75:31An incrustable. And a zin. Okay. This guy is wired.
75:34Weird. Yeah. Wow. Ben writes, my friends from high school and I have been running a dynasty league since we graduated in 2019.
75:40One league member, Steven, was the first guy to realize the benefits of tanking and has turned a couple of terrible years
75:47and some very savvy trades into a team with Josh Allen, B.
75:50John Robinson, Jameer Gibbs, among others. As you can imagine, Steven won the league last year.
75:55But here's the twist. Steven just traded Jameer Gibbs for nothing.
75:58Come on. That is not an exaggeration. The trade literally reads as team A receives Jameer Gibbs.
76:03Steven receives blank. No picks. No nothing. Nothing. Literally nothing.
76:06It was just handed over. Okay. And Steven says it was not an accident.
76:10He said part of me wanted to see if people would veto an obviously bad trade and said that it was a test.
76:17Okay. So the league. Pick him off the tour.
76:20So the league has an uphold. Pick him off the tour, Doug.
76:23He's not breaking any rules. So Ben writes to the emailer, the plaintiff writes that we have this veto policy in the
76:30league where people can vote on whether the trade passes or not.
76:33And the trade did receive the necessary votes to pass.
76:36So they called his bluff. Yeah. Well, because why fucking wouldn't they?
76:40The guy won the league last year and he wants to get rid of one of his best players.
76:46I would accept it too. So Ben writes, here's the reason we voted yes.
76:50Steven is annoying as hell. Yeah. I can't. I'm gathering that already.
76:53I feel like if this guy's trying to pull off a gimmick for fun and there's a call a bluff and he
77:00won the league last year, why would I give a shit if he wants to give up Jameer Gibbs?
77:05Have at it. Exactly. So the commissioner who runs the league like an absolute dictator told the group.
77:11Yeah. Told the group that the trade would not be going through.
77:14Absolutely not be going through. Just because it had the votes, which I mean, it is a little dictator.
77:20Like, um, well, popular vote doesn't always mean you win the election.
77:23Uh, I like, he didn't even stop the count.
77:26He let the count happen. I was like, fuck that count.
77:29Oh, interesting. So the commissioner said, oh, sorry. So the commissioner and several other league members felt it was fair to strip
77:36Steven of some amount of draft capital for accepting the trade in the first place.
77:40No one soberly thought the trade should have gone through, but most league members were on board with Steven losing a second round pick as a punishment.
77:48Wait, Steven is getting Jameer Gibbs back, but losing a second round pick.
77:52That is what they want to do. And, uh, the plaintiff here, Ben writes for background.
77:56Steven essentially spammed every league member with terrible trade offers last year, sending deals like I'll give you Sam Donald in a
78:03second for Drake May in a dynasty league multiple times.
78:06That's some hype and shit. And that, that is, I feel like that type of dedication and aggression is probably why this
78:12guy's winning because one out of every 20 of those is accepted.
78:16And then he has a good team. Just wants it more.
78:19And so he says that Steven got so, it's like so bad with the text last off season that Steven was campaigning
78:26for tight end premium, which is like socialism for tight ends where they get like more points for a catch than other.
78:32All right. You don't need to edit. What is it?
78:35What is it? If not that, that's literally what it is.
78:38I liked that in premium for the record. It's a, uh, participation trophy, literally.
78:42Well, I guess figuratively. Sure. Either way. Apparently he wanted tight end premium so badly, uh, that I, I, this is the
78:49plaintiff said, I told him he could get my vote as long as he never offered me a trade ever again.
78:55Uh, anyway, so apparently this is the context. So the Jameer Gibbs trade was a counter offer sent by a fellow league
79:02member who was so annoyed at Steven's shitty trade offers that this person turned around and offered him, give me Jameer Gibbs and you get nothing.
79:09And Steven, the psycho that he is was like, I just want to, I just want to watch the world burn except.
79:16Yes. And that is what he did. He literally just, Steven was offered giving away Jameer Gibbs for nothing, accepted it, said it was not an accident.
79:24He did it on purpose and it was a test.
79:27And then the league voted on it and passed.
79:29I don't get, I can't, I can't tell you how much I dislike this Steven guy.
79:34I think they should absolutely, absolutely would just quit the league and start a new league with 11 or the 10 other people.
79:41And then DK will be your top. So Ben writes, my actual advice is to stop the league and start a new league with everyone but Steven.
79:49So, and you could even just transfer all the same rosters.
79:52Yeah. It's a sleeper. Ben writes, I land on the side.
79:55Steven should be punished. It's a fairly high buy-in league.
79:58We all take it pretty seriously. And if he wants to punish, he lost Jameer Gibbs.
80:03Well, so I, I agree. I don't see one reason why he can't do this trade.
80:08Like if he, let's be real. If this happened and he was like, oh, it was an accident.
80:13I hit the button by accident. We're like, obviously you didn't mean to do it.
80:17The fact that he's, Steven's admitting. I, yeah, I did that as a test.
80:21And then your test failed. You lost the test.
80:24I don't understand the test. What's the test? He accepted the trade.
80:28Fuck this guy. Actions have, like literally they're saying, well, it's a buy-in, high buy-in league.
80:32We all take it seriously. All right. Well then he shouldn't fucking do it.
80:36And if you guys think it's really important, you shouldn't have fucking voted for it.
80:41So no, I think this is your stupid rule.
80:43He should lose Jameer Gibbs. If Steven won this high buy-in league last year and won thousands of dollars or whatever it
80:50is, and he wants to give up Jameer Gibbs as like a, I'm bored.
80:54Fuck you test. Making a point. Let it happen.
80:57It's a bit. Let it happen. Yeah. I don't know why they're giving him back.
81:01But the guy that gets Jameer Gibbs gains a massive competitive advantage.
81:05But that guy made the request. Who cares? Like good for him.
81:08He stood up. I feel like, yeah, I feel like I'm okay.
81:12Letting that guy reap the rewards. What's nice about this to me is it doesn't set a precedent.
81:17It doesn't set a precedent because no one would do this.
81:20It's not like people are sending player A for no player offers ever.
81:24Can I throw out an idea? It's going to ruin the league in the future.
81:28This is a one-off. I have an idea. I have an idea here.
81:32And this is why we need a fantasy court because only a court can enforce this.
81:37I think everyone in this league probably is like, yeah, he shouldn't get, like Steven shouldn't get Jameer Gibbs back because he should have done that.
81:45That's why they want to punish him. You're saying he goes to waivers.
81:48Well, kind of. But basically, I think the issue with it is what Deke is saying, which is this guy just gets Jameer Gibbs.
81:56That messes the competitive balance. It's a dynasty league.
81:58You get him for his whole career. Here's what I think should happen.
82:02Jameer Gibbs should sit in fantasy escrow. He should sit.
82:05He should not be on anyone's team. Steven doesn't get him.
82:08Nobody gets him. So he's punished because he fucked around and found out.
82:12We're taking him off the board. He should not get Jameer Gibbs.
82:16Jameer Gibbs should be in fantasy escrow. Yeah, he could be on waivers, whatever.
82:20Steven can't play. I don't know the answer. But he sits there for all year.
82:24And then maybe there's something where everyone can make a, I don't know, next year they have to find a mechanism to put Jameer Gibbs up.
82:32Maybe he just goes on waivers and it's like, let the highest bidder win.
82:36And Steven can rebid all of his money to try to get him back.
82:40No, because if you bid anything last week, it's like everyone would just bid the same amount of money.
82:46So it's like, you'd have to, that would be unfair.
82:49I think. I think that you'd have to like have people basically make trade offers and then those like those picks on fire.
82:55I don't know. I don't know the right answer, but I do think you should sit out for the year.
83:01You could do like a blind, a blind bidding auctions situation for next year where like the person, the people can offer three firsts or whatever.
83:09And the highest bidding person wins or something like that.
83:12So this, this reminds me of the, that quarterback that almost came out of college and then ended up not even getting to go back to college.
83:20I'm blanking on his name. The game of the gambling issue.
83:23Yeah. Yeah. When dynasty leagues were trying to. Brendan Soresby.
83:26Yes. Yeah. People were trying to figure out like, what do we do with this fucking guy?
83:31The rookie drafts are already in the past. What does he just go on to waivers?
83:36And I think a lot of leagues I was in were just like, he's just not going to be in the player pool this year.
83:43Just wait. I think, yeah, maybe Gibbs is an escrow for this year.
83:47I like that. And Steven just loses Gibbs for an entire year.
83:50Yeah. Sure. He shouldn't get to this guy this year.
83:53No one gets Gibbs. I mean, yeah, I like that.
83:56I think that is the most fair. If I was the commissioner, I'd probably just kick Steven out.
84:02Just be like, this guy's fucking annoying. I don't want to be in a league with this guy.
84:07Well, now you're just revolting. Now you're just like, well.
84:10He won the league last year and he technically didn't break any rules.
84:14He was just in it. He was just kind of a cock.
84:17I love that DK's like, fuck this guy. I am.
84:20That's why you can't kick him out of the league.
84:23He just won whatever. That's why I'm taking my ball and starting a new league.
84:27Okay. This is a good window into all of our minds.
84:31I don't want to deal with this bullshit. Emails.
84:33Craig asked for emails about sharts because of the high rocks thing.
84:37Dangerous ask, Craig. Kind of like disastrous sharp moments.
84:40So I'm redacting everyone's name unless they said don't because I'm just like, you know, I don't know.
84:45Redacted. Our bone. Actually, you know what? No, sorry.
84:48I'm going to read this one from Max. Okay.
84:50Maxie. And Max starts with, you can use my name.
84:53I've told the story to everyone I know. Okay.
84:56He's proud of it. Max says, backstory. I've always had a bad digestive tract.
85:00Yeah. Come on. What's your email address? Rosmer. I always, Max says, I've always had a bad digestive tract.
85:05And it was normal for me to go four or five days without taking a shit.
85:10Okay. I can't imagine that, but okay. Continue. So Max says, things are better now.
85:15But back in my freshman year of college, probably the worst my digestive problems ever got because I was living in nothing but cafeteria burgers and pizza.
85:23And Max says, I realized at one point that I had not taken a shit for over two weeks.
85:28Wow. That can't be healthy. Max says, I told my friends this, that I had not shit in two weeks.
85:34And they immediately said, you have to go to a doctor.
85:37So Max says, I go to the doctor and she prescribes me prescription strength laxatives.
85:42And the doctor tells me, after I take the laxatives, you know what?
85:46Let's just clear out the day. Yeah. This is like a colonoscopy prep.
85:49Doctor is like clear your schedule. Yeah. So Max says, I go home.
85:53I take the laxatives after my last play of the class of the day in the afternoon.
85:58I'm waiting and I'm waiting. I'm waiting. Nothing. Go to bed.
86:01Wake up. Nothing happened. Well, next day I have an exam at one of my classes.
86:06Starting to feel a rumble in my stomach. I'm like, all right, well, maybe I can get through this test.
86:12It's just like the from the plot of fucking Van Wilder when the guy just takes a shit in a bucket in the middle of a test.
86:20Okay. Continue. Didn't have a bucket. So Max writes, I'm in class going through it.
86:24God. I asked the professor if I can use the bathroom.
86:28I really got to go. Professor says, if you leave the classroom, you have to turn on the test.
86:33You have to turn in the test. Max writes, so I sit back down.
86:37I continue taking my test and all the while I'm farting loud and other people are starting to notice, but I just keep going.
86:44And I'm like three quarters of the way through the test.
86:48And then it just hits me. Prescription strength laxatives.
86:50And again, he hadn't shit in two weeks. And he says, I'm trying to hold it in.
86:55And unfortunately, I begin to just straight shit myself.
86:58I regret having this as a prompt. Just straight shit.
87:01Craig asked. I'm into this. This is great. I'm just the messenger.
87:04So he says, he's just straight shitting himself during the test.
87:08Seems like uncontrollably shitting himself. And he says, I'm now wallowing in my own shit.
87:12Two weeks of shit. And he says, well, I'm already here.
87:15Might as well keep going. So he finishes the test.
87:18What? I, dude, I know. How long was that?
87:21I don't know. There's no way. Everybody, if he has two weeks of shit coming out of him, the smell, the sound,
87:27all of it would be impossible to ignore. Where's it going?
87:31Shame. Where is the shit going? Is it all over the floor around him?
87:35I need these details because this is, otherwise I'm like, bullshit.
87:38This is not true. I bet we could find our, I don't know how big our show is, but I feel like six degrees of separation.
87:46It's going to be like in a news, a news article somewhere.
87:49Someone can find someone else who was in this class.
87:52If Max commented this week, there's 25, maybe 50 other people in this college class.
87:57We could get one of those people to find this show, right?
88:00Someone knows someone. Did he like tuck his pants into his socks and like just, it's just all sitting in his pants.
88:07Well, the fuck are we talking about here? So Max says, I think, yeah.
88:11Did he have like waterproof pants? D pants? Did you guys ever see the Tim and Eric?
88:16Yes. Yes. So good. I'm just seeing her, right?
88:18The see-through pants. The D pants is like the most disgusting and hilarious fucking bit.
88:23Anyway, continue. Is that the end of it? That's it.
88:26No, he says he goes up to the professor to turn the test in at the end.
88:31No way. And the professor says that you can use the bathroom now.
88:35Thanks. And he says, I look at her and I say, I don't need to anymore.
88:39Jesus. And I just let it waft a bit in her direction.
88:43He says, which I know was a dick move, but I was 18.
88:47And he says, after two hours, I got a new set of pants.
88:50I dropped the class, never went back. I mean, you got to move cities at that point.
88:55You got to transfer. Leave the city altogether. No, you can bounce back from that.
89:00That's because it's so ridiculous. It becomes legendary. You become like an icon of the school.
89:05You know, he's more likely to be the president of his frat than he needs to translate.
89:10Oh, my God. So, OK, I have a lot of questions.
89:13I yeah. That's awesome, though. I'm having a very hard time believing.
89:16Also, like, so the teacher just said no. Right.
89:19When he asked if he could leave. He probably I will say, I think it's funny to me.
89:24Couldn't you just get up and leave, though? I love that Max did not have the wherewithal.
89:29I think he's going to fail the test because it was the beginning.
89:33I think Max not having the wherewithal to say, no, I have a doctor.
89:37Like, I have taken prescription strength rexatives. This is important.
89:40Like, it's a medical issue. This is my phone.
89:43I'm going to go to the bathroom for five minutes and I'll be right back.
89:47Yeah. Yeah. Like, if you just shut. Yeah. You know what?
89:50I'm sure there's a lot of legends do. And Max is a legend.
89:54What school is he at? Do we know that?
89:57Where did someone else go? I don't know. I was so confused about this.
90:01They would have just allowed this to happen. Two weeks of it.
90:05Like, do you know how much? That's probably like pounds of shit.
90:08Actually, though. Two weeks. What is all the other fucking people in the class doing?
90:13I love the dink is on the physics of it.
90:16Like, like physically, like space time. Where is it?
90:18All right. Okay. Ready for this? The average adult produces about 14 to 16 ounces of fecal matter every day.
90:24So over two weeks, we're talking about 12 to 14 pounds of weight.
90:28A literal bucket. There's no fucking way. So I don't.
90:31Someone, someone, please, if you were there or you know somebody.
90:34We need to find a friggin witness to this.
90:37Yeah. Shout out to Max. I don't like that.
90:39He put his name on it. Dumbfounded. Yeah. I like that.
90:43Once again, this guy's a legend. If he shit himself in front of his entire class and finished the test, of course, he doesn't care about his name.
90:51He'll tell us his name is Max like, like nothing.
90:54This guy's, this guy is a fucking hero. Please email us.
90:57If you know anyone who may have been in this class for the story, someone listening is like, oh my God, my
91:03friend told me that they were something like this.
91:06I know that. I'm sure we can. Two degrees of separation from the story.
91:10Please email us. If you have more short stories, it's gotta be like that level, Max level.
91:15Please email us. If you have, we want more weird job titles, weird jobs, weird job titles, things like the president of
91:22ice cream, president of ice cream, Matt Ryan, president of football.
91:25Send us those. And yeah, we'll still take short stories.
91:28Fantasy courts and trivia questions. We'll probably have a shit related one.
91:31Yeah. Shit. Wait. Yeah. I don't know. Some poop related one.
91:35You know, we'll have that for trivia. Thank you, DK.
91:38Thank you, Craig. Thank you, Cam. Thank you to Kill.
91:41Thank you, Austin. Thank you for listening. Thank you to Max for putting your name on that.
91:46It's incredible. I hope he aced that test. Thank you, Lord.
91:49Lord. 80s month. Yeah. Rolls on. I'm on with one of the most 80 sounding songs ever made.
91:54I'm bouncing back off of Give Me All Your Lovin', which you guys didn't give me a whole lot of lovin' on.
92:01I'm going with Take On Me by AHA. Oh my God.
92:04Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. One of the hardest karaoke songs you could ever sing.
92:08The pitch you need to hit is really impossible.
92:11So, this song is as 80s as it gets.
92:13Let me tell you something about Take On Me.
92:16Okay. Okay. There was this video game called Saints Row.
92:19And Saints Row was for kids whose parents would not buy them Grand Theft Auto.
92:23The only time in the entire game that your character said anything was if you turned to a specific radio channel, your
92:30character would sing the entire song of Take On Me by AHA.
92:33It was the only song in the entire game that your character ever did anything.
92:38And I know every word of the song because of that game.
92:41This one is very 80s. It's so 80s. The synth sounds.
92:44Is that the one that goes? Yeah. It's great.
92:47It's really good. Norwegian band. I don't know anything about AHA.
92:50Same. Did not know they were Norwegian. They were formed in Oslo in 1982.
92:54Sure. Fun name. To be honest, I don't really know any of their other songs.
92:59I think they're one of the great one-hit wonders.
93:02Yeah. I'm not aware of any of their other songs as well.
93:05I mean, the first five seconds of the song, it sounds like I'm just like I'm watching Breakfast Club or something.
93:11It just feels like that. Totally. It's a perfect 80s song.
93:15It does feel like it's a song that the sound is what plays over opening credits of an 80s movie.
93:20I'm sure it has many times. Oh, great call, Craig.
93:23Yeah. Had to get it in there. I had to get it on.
93:27It's a great one. Their Wikipedia photo is from a concert in Madrid where they're playing a palace, Palazzo Vestale Grey.
93:33I don't know what that is, but I do wonder sometimes about these random bands who like you get to live quite the life for a few years.
93:42You know what I mean? Do a private stuff.
93:44Absolutely. Spop around the world. Life of a rock star.
93:47God, be sick. All right. Goodbye, everyone. Aha. Hope is here.
93:50Hope is here. Hope is here. Call 1-877-770-7867. This episode is brought to you by Whole Foods Market.
