Although Lance wasn't listed as WR3 entering Week 1, he played in that role and the Saints clearly saw something that made him the better fit against the Lions defense. He got open in the short game, had nice run-after-the-catch moments, blocked well, and made one of the day's biggest plays by converting a massive fourth-and-long. The source suggests Lance may be the perfect WR3 option to make tough catches when needed, similar to Devaughn Vele, though the Ravens matchup will be more difficult.
