Latest update
Chris Godwin in 2024, before coming off an ankle dislocation AND suffering a fibula fracture in 2025, per @FantasyPtsData: + 0.28 targets per route run (10th/103 WRs) + 2.62 yards per route run (7th) + 26.1% target share (8th) + 82.3 receiving YPG (6th) + 19.7 PPR FP/G (2nd)
On the flip side, which WRs saw the biggest decrease in their First Read Target Share from 2024-2025? (per @FantasyPtsData) 1. Cooper Kupp: -14.1% 2. Chris Godwin: -12.9% 3. Christian Kirk: -12.2% 4. Josh Downs: -10.6% 5. Ladd McConkey: -8.7% 6. Davante Adams: -8.3% 7. AJ Brown: -7.1% 8. Brian Thomas: -6.7% 9. Courtland Sutton: -6.4% 10. Stefon Diggs: -6.4% I think several of these players can bounce-back toward their 2024 1READ numbers: Chris Godwin, Josh Downs, and Ladd McConkey
Some Bucs notes: Still going to do gap/duo concepts while implementing some more wide zone More 12 personnel Godwin/Egbuka clear top 2 and will be used on pre-snap and during-snap motion a lot Godwin fully healthy offseason
This is your Bucs O upside case: Baker Mayfield got absolutely destroyed last year with 8 different injuries as early as Week 2 OL, which is good, was ravaged by injury too Egbuka suffered a hammy (so did Evans + Godwin/McMillan/Bucky had their injuries)
Since 2024, Chris Godwin ranks 3rd in YPRR on plays with during-snap motion (3.99, behind only Puka Nacua and Nico Collins). Even playing injured + without Liam Coen in 2025, he ranked 2nd (4.02). Read through the two posts I'm quoting. Incredibly exciting stuff @FantasyPtsData
“Chris Godwin Jr. is aiming to return to form in the slot, while rookie Ted Hurst provides a true X receiver on the outside. Emeka Egbuka and Jalen McMillan can line up in various spots, giving Robinson the freedom to move them between the slot and perimeter depending on the matchup. Then there is Tez Johnson, who is another weapon capable of stretching defenses vertically and horizontally.”
