Player insights

100

A.J. Brown

PositiveValue30:00

A.J. Brown is discussed as a potential trade target for teams with strong bench depth; the source suggests trading a player like Jalen Coker for Brown if the owner knows Brown will be unavailable for six weeks but will be valuable by fantasy playoff time, making it a strategic acquisition for teams with depth.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

NegativeValue33:47

In a 10-team league without a flex position that starts three receivers, the source advised keeping Alec Pierce over Isaiah Likely despite preferring Likely as a player, because Pierce's team has poor receiver depth and cannot bench him. This illustrates a roster construction constraint rather than a talent evaluation.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

NegativeUsage6:54

Received 56% of team targets (combined with Sam Laporta) in Week 1 under new coordinator Drew Petzing, indicating concentrated target share among top three receivers (St. Brown, Laporta, Williams) who accounted for 83% of all targets.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveSleeper75:25

Williams, a rookie for Washington, had a 44% target share when on the field in week one and scored a red zone touchdown. He was one of the highest-graded receivers by PFF and had the highest average separation score of any receiver in week one according to Fantasy Points Data. He shredded in college, looked good in preseason, and when matched up against Cooper to Jean, made him look slow. The speaker considers him really underrated and one of his favorite stashes, though he didn't play much and may not have been a popular waiver wire add.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveProjection3:51

Breece Hall's Week 1 performance should inspire confidence in Devon Achane managers, suggesting Hall's production and role provide a positive comparable for Achane's outlook.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveBreakout26:36

Bucky Irving was the biggest Week 1 impact for Year Up United's; he excelled in the passing game while Kenneth Gable was uninvolved, which is the most encouraging sign for his role; he overcame a very good Bengals run defense to post a solid game, suggesting he's back and worth drafting in the fourth round or higher.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout27:34

Bucky Irving is listed among the top redraft targets for the show, indicating strong breakout potential and a player the hosts would draft higher in a redraft scenario.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveValue3:19

Caleb Douglas was among the most added players heading into Week 2, ranking fourth in waiver wire pickups, suggesting emerging opportunity and league-wide recognition of potential.

Insight page
PositiveValue3:27

Caleb Douglas was among the most added players in leagues following week one, ranking fourth behind Jaylen Vele, defense/special teams units, and Kalon Black.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper77:30

Douglas, a rookie for Miami, impressed the speaker in week one with his downfield route-running and separation. He was open on almost every single play and was getting open downfield, not just on easy short targets. The speaker ranks him alongside Antonio Williams as one of the two most impressive rookie receivers from week one.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

PositiveProjection26:16

Caleb Williams exceeded expectations in Week 1; he was projected as a top-10 quarterback challenge to be top-five, and his performance validates that he could be a top-five guy, making him a redraft priority.

Insight page
PositiveProjection27:34

Caleb Williams is being discussed as a potential number one quarterback in fantasy for the full season; the source notes it's realistic given the offensive opportunities, though Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson also look strong. Ben Johnson's involvement and the scoring record context support the upside.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeInjury4:46

Christian McCaffrey dealt with cramps during Week 1, which may have contributed to his lower carry total, though it was not the sole reason for reduced usage.

Insight page

Christian Watson

NegativeValue12:43

The source had Christian Watson and Jalen Waddle ranked very close pre-draft and would probably not trade Watson for Waddle one-for-one, though acknowledges Waddle has upside potential.

Insight page
NegativeProjection44:38

Christian Watson is ranked behind Jalen Smith and Devante Smith in a three-player start/sit decision, with Year Up United's noting Watson is ranked behind Jalen Smith in their projections.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeValue12:37

The source would trade Chuba Hubbard for Jalen Waddle 'in a heartbeat,' indicating Waddle is the preferred asset in a one-for-one swap despite Waddle's Week 1 struggles.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveProjection32:12

The source identifies Colston Loveland as part of the top-three tight end group alongside McBride and Bowers, suggesting he is positioned for elite-tier production. The context of the discussion around Isaiah Likely's potential to finish ahead of drafted tight ends implies Loveland is among the highest-ranked tight ends entering the season.

Insight page
NegativeRole48:02

Colston Loveland receives a very low Worryometer rating (0-2 out of 100 scale), indicating minimal concern about his role or performance trajectory after Week 1.

Insight page
NegativeRole48:34

Loveland has an extremely high average route depth and has not received a single screen pass in his entire career, limiting his access to easy completion-dependent points; the Bears remain a run-heavy team, but the offense is expected to score enough fantasy points that Loveland should be fine despite the volatility.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeValue28:58

DJ Moore is used as an example of a round-four wide receiver that could be traded away for a round-three running back if the owner has strong bench depth at receiver like Jalen Coker or Matthew Golden, illustrating a trade strategy to upgrade at running back.

Insight page
PositiveProjection44:24

DJ Moore is preferred in multiple start/sit decisions, including over Jalen Coker and over Luther Burden against Minnesota, indicating strong Week 2 projections.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeValue27:34

DeAndre Swift was taken in the third round by the source and is mentioned as a potential redraft candidate, though the source notes uncertainty about drafting him significantly higher. The hosts debated whether they would take Swift or Devon Achane in the current market, with split opinions.

Insight page
PositiveProjection27:41

DeAndre Swift could be added to the redraft-higher list; Year Up United's was already taking him in the third round, so the question of how much higher he would be taken is open.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveUsage2:18

Dalton Kincaid had three catches of 30+ yards in week one; only George Kittle (twice), Rob Gronkowski, and Dallas Goddart have matched this feat since 2010. Trey McBride has five such catches in his entire career. No tight end had more than five all season last year. This elite deep-ball usage suggests significant upside.

Insight page
NegativeUsage31:45

Dalton Kincaid posted a 68% route participation rate in Week 1, similar to Isaiah Likely's 67%. This is notably below the 75%+ threshold observed across the top-8 tight ends from last year, suggesting both players may have reduced offensive roles compared to historical elite tight end benchmarks.

Insight page
PositiveProjection70:44

Kincaid had 30 yards on three different catches in week one—the most ever for a tight end in a single game—and is being used as a primary read in 11 personnel (him, two tight ends, and key on Coleman). His downfield production and route-running ability in Joe Brady's creative offense suggest sustained high-volume usage and scoring potential.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeValue22:21

Had 20 carries in Week 1 but only 60 rushing yards and no touchdowns; despite 3 catches, the empty stat line makes him a sell-high candidate. Year Up United's suggests maximizing his value by trading him to a receiver-needy team for a player like Jalen Waddle, Drake London, or George Pickens while his perceived value is at its highest, as he may have been a borderline starter or flex/bench player before the game.

Insight page
NegativeProjection25:45

In a redraft scenario comparing David Montgomery, Jaylen Scadaboo, and Jamison Williams, Scadaboo was preferred over Montgomery rest of season, though the margin was close.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

PositiveProjection3:51

Devon Achane's outlook is supported by Breece Hall's Week 1 performance, suggesting Hall's production and role provide a positive comparable for Achane's potential.

Insight page
NegativeBust27:59

Devon Achane had a disappointing Week 1 with four catches for 30 yards and is flagged on the Worryometer. The source was not fond of Achane coming into the season and would still take him only with hope that he bounces back from his poor Week 1 performance.

Insight page
NegativeProjection53:21

Devon Achan downgraded from mid-round-two to late-round-two in redraft; speaker would now take Gentie ahead of him due to ankle injury concerns and disappointing Week 1 performance against the Raiders. Speaker also expresses concern about Achan's offensive line and team quality, noting the Dolphins' poor performance against a winnable matchup (Raiders) and questioning production against stronger opponents. Comparison to 2023 Breece Hall (30th-ranked offense, 13.9 PPG) illustrates the ceiling for a RB on a struggling offense; Hall had 87 targets and 76 catches for 9 TDs despite poor team performance, but Dolphins unlikely to provide similar target volume for Achan.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeProjection44:24

Debo Samuel is ranked last in a five-player start/sit decision in half-PPR format, behind DJ Moore, Cam Scadaboo, Malik Neighbors, and Judkins.

Insight page

Devin Singletary

NegativeRole22:21

Operating in a backup role and handling passing-down duties for the Steelers after Cam Scadaboo received the bulk of carries (18) in Week 1.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeUsage80:35

Metcalf had the second-most air yards in week one but did not produce results commensurate with his usage. The speaker notes that he and Jameson Williams both had really good usage but horrible results, making it unclear whether this is a sustainable trend or a potential breakout if the results improve.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveValue13:12

Drake London is a buy-low candidate; the source has not downgraded his rest-of-season outlook and notes there may be a window to acquire him while Michael Pennix remains uncleared, suggesting the Falcons' quarterback situation creates a temporary discount.

Insight page
PositiveValue22:21

Mentioned as a buy-low target after struggling in Week 1. Year Up United's suggests trading high-volume running backs like David Montgomery or Cam Scadaboo to acquire London from receiver-needy teams.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup44:07

Drake London is compared to Jamison Williams in a start/sit decision; the choice depends on the opposing quarterback situation, with London preferred if Tua is the starter.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

NegativeInjury5:12

Dylan Sampson, Cleveland running back, was placed on injured reserve heading into Week 2.

Insight page

Emmett Johnson

NegativeValue3:22

Emmitt Johnson added only 5% of rostered teams (from 44% to 49%), lower than expected despite being a notable waiver wire target; suggests more modest league-wide interest than anticipated.

Insight page
NegativeValue3:39

Emmitt Johnson was only 5% added from 44% rostered, suggesting lower league-wide pickup activity than expected despite potential week one performance.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveValue13:12

George Pickens is a buy-low candidate; the source has not downgraded his rest-of-season outlook, suggesting he remains a solid asset despite any Week 1 concerns.

Insight page
PositiveValue22:21

Mentioned as a buy-low target after struggling in Week 1. Year Up United's suggests trading high-volume running backs like David Montgomery or Cam Scadaboo to acquire Pickens from receiver-needy teams.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveBreakout27:34

Isaiah Likely is included in the redraft list, indicating the hosts view him as a player they would draft higher in a redraft given early-season performance or role emergence.

Insight page
PositiveProjection27:34

Isaiah Likely is on the redraft-higher list; he's one of six players Year Up United's would draft higher if drafting today after Week 1.

Insight page
PositiveProjection31:10

Despite a 67% route participation rate in Week 1 (below the 75%+ threshold of top-8 tight ends from last year), Likely has a strong historical track record: in nine career games with six or more targets, he averaged over 12 PPR points per game. The source projects he could finish with 8–9 touchdowns and average 4–5 catches for 60+ yards weekly, with Jackson Dart's strong Week 1 performance and an improving schedule supporting continued offensive involvement.

Insight page
NegativeUsage31:10

In Week 1, Isaiah Likely posted a 35% target-per-route-run rate and 67% route participation (snap participation in the high 40s). For context, the top-8 tight ends from last year all had route participation rates of at least 75% (except Harold Fannin at 71%), suggesting Likely's current role is below historical elite tight end benchmarks, though the source notes it's only one game.

Insight page

Jaleel McLaughlin

NegativeRole5:12

Jaleel McLaughlin was signed to Cleveland's active roster following Dylan Sampson's IR placement, positioning him for potential third-down and passing game opportunities.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveProjection27:34

Jalen Coker is on the redraft-higher list; he's one of six players Year Up United's would draft higher if drafting today after Week 1.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper28:51

Jalen Coker is highlighted as a player who can be leveraged in trades due to strong early performance; the source emphasizes that Coker and Matthew Golden are capable of being started most weeks and can function as at-worst WR3s. The source notes Coker averaged 14 PPR points per game in the final five games of last season including playoffs, suggesting sustained productivity. Coker is valuable enough to trade away only if acquiring a significantly better player, as his value is currently high.

Insight page
PositiveValue44:51

Jalen Coker is preferred over Khalil Shakir for Week 2 starts, suggesting better value or upside at the position.

Insight page

James Cook

NegativeUsage5:04

James Cook did not run a single route on third down in Week 1, even without Ty Johnson available, indicating limited third-down role and potential passing game involvement concerns.

Insight page
PositiveValue22:21

Mentioned as a buy-low candidate coming off a disappointing Week 1 game. Year Up United's suggests acquiring him by trading Cam Scadaboo or packaging him with other assets as part of a trade strategy.

Insight page
NegativeRole42:06

If James Cook receives more involvement, he could move into fourth place in the Bills receiving pecking order, displacing Khalil Shakir from that spot.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveBreakout3:58

Jamison Williams is positioned as a potential breakout candidate heading into Week 2, matching the original draft-day expectations that managers had for him.

Insight page
PositiveValue5:45

Buy-low candidate after Week 1 despite strong underlying metrics; recorded 4 catches for 45 yards on 9 targets with two costly drops that could have resulted in 60+ additional yards, plus a near-touchdown. Had 23.1% target per route run rate in Week 1, which ranks in his top tier—in his last 10 games above this threshold over two seasons, he averaged 17.6 PPR points per game. New offensive coordinator Drew Petzing's play-calling kept Williams heavily involved despite concerns about Sam Laporta's role, suggesting sustained target volume opportunity.

Insight page
PositiveProjection25:45

When asked whether to draft Jamison Williams, David Montgomery, or Jaylen Scadaboo first in a redraft, the preference was Jamison Williams (Jamo), indicating he would be drafted higher than his current ADP.

Insight page
NegativeUsage43:23

Jamison Williams had two significant drops in Week 1 that hurt Dan Goff's passing statistics and fantasy output. These were described as huge plays that negatively impacted the Lions' offensive performance.

Insight page
NegativeUsage80:35

Williams had really good usage in week one but did not produce results commensurate with that usage. The speaker notes that he and DK Metcalf both had elite usage but horrible results, making it unclear whether this is a sustainable trend or a potential breakout if the results improve. Rest-of-season ranking: 27th among receivers.

Insight page

Jaylen Smith

NegativeProjection44:38

Jalen Smith is ranked behind Devante Smith and Christian Watson in a three-player start/sit decision, indicating lower Week 2 projections.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeUsage10:10

Waddle received only three targets for two yards on one catch against the Chiefs in Week 1, with a bad drop; the limited volume came despite the Broncos chasing points and despite Waddle being a significant draft investment, though the source expects improvement against Jacksonville.

Insight page
PositiveValue11:10

Waddle is a buy-low candidate after Week 1 panic; the source suggests trading for him at a discount if you have depth at receiver and need running back help, noting that fantasy managers are frustrated and panicking, creating a window to acquire him cheaply.

Insight page
PositiveProjection11:25

The source was concerned pre-draft about Waddle's target ceiling in Denver's offense; historical data from Bo Nix's two years shows one player hovering around 120 targets with three or four others in the 90-plus range, and only twice in two years did the Broncos have two receivers over 100 targets despite throwing 600-plus passes, suggesting limited target distribution.

Insight page
PositiveValue22:21

Mentioned as a buy-low target after struggling in Week 1. Year Up United's suggests trading high-volume running backs like David Montgomery or Cam Scadaboo to acquire Waddle from receiver-needy teams.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeRole22:21

Fumbled in Week 1, which contributed to his reduced role and the emergence of Cam Scadaboo as the lead back. The fumble is a concerning sign for his continued involvement.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeProjection44:11

Josh Downs came off a disappointing Week 1 game and is being considered as an alternative to Khalil Shakir, suggesting his stock has declined after the opening week.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeInjury4:18

Josh Jacobs' legal situation involving his former girlfriend seeking to seal evidence and discovery materials could potentially affect his NFL suspension timeline; if the NFL cannot obtain video evidence, it could lead to an earlier return, though this remains speculative.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection43:37

Justin Herbert is ranked slightly behind Dan Goff in Week 2 quarterback projections, with Goff ranked approximately one spot ahead.

Insight page

Kaelon Black

PositiveValue3:16

Kalon Black was among the most added players heading into Week 2, ranking third in waiver wire pickups after Vele and team defenses, indicating emerging opportunity and league-wide interest.

Insight page
PositiveValue3:18

Kalon Black was among the most added players in leagues following week one, ranking third behind Jaylen Vele and defense/special teams units, indicating emerging fantasy relevance.

Insight page

Khalil Shakir

NegativeRole42:05

Shakir is considered third best in the Bills pecking order; he had nine PPR points in Week 1 and is not an automatic play over other receivers. His career production has been inconsistent even when he was the best receiver for the Bills, making him a questionable start over alternatives like Josh Downs, Wendell Robinson, or Jalen Coker.

Insight page

Kyle Monangai

PositiveProjection27:34

Kyle Monongai is on the redraft-higher list; he's one of six players Year Up United's would draft higher if drafting today after Week 1.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout27:34

Kyle Monongai is included in the redraft list, suggesting the hosts view him as a player they would target higher in a redraft given early-season performance or opportunity.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveBreakout72:37

McConkey posted a 54% target share when on the field in week one against the Colts, demonstrating elite volume potential. He is a high-level route runner and mover who thrived in Baltimore's creative play-action and big-personnel scheme under Declan Doyle. While the sample is small and the Colts defense is weak, McConkey's efficiency and role suggest he could finish as a wide receiver one this year if he stays healthy.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeMatchup45:08

Luther Burden is ranked behind DJ Moore against Minnesota in Week 2, with Year Up United's noting they have Burden ranked higher than Moore in their projections.

Insight page

Marquez Valdes-Scantling

NegativeRole5:58

Marquez Valdez-Scantling was signed to the Chargers' practice squad heading into Week 2, providing depth amid multiple wide receiver injuries on the roster.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveProjection27:34

Matthew Golden is on the redraft-higher list; he's one of six players Year Up United's would draft higher if drafting today after Week 1.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper28:51

Matthew Golden is positioned alongside Jalen Coker as a high-value early-season performer who can be started most weeks as a WR3 or better. The source suggests Golden's strong play makes him tradeable for upgrading at other positions, particularly running back, while maintaining confidence in his weekly floor.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

NegativeRole44:04

Michael Mayer is considered as a backup option to Sam Laporta if Bowers is unavailable, indicating he is lower in the Saints tight end pecking order.

Insight page

Najee Harris

NegativeDepth Chart22:21

Was made a healthy scratch in Week 1, opening the door for Cam Scadaboo to receive 18 carries. This unexpected benching signals a significant role change and depth chart demotion.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

NegativeInjury6:00

Rookie wide receiver out of Indiana is week-to-week with an injury heading into Week 2 matchup against Green Bay.

Insight page
NegativeInjury6:20

Omar Cooper, rookie wide receiver from Indiana, is out for Week 2 and is week-to-week with injury.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeProjection44:14

Patrick Mahomes is ranked behind Dan Goff in Week 2 quarterback projections.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeRole5:17

Quinchon Judkins did not see increased passing game opportunities in Week 1 despite Dylan Sampson's IR placement; Year Up United's is skeptical that Sampson's injury will lead to more third-down work for Judkins, especially with McLaughlin added and Raheem Sanders previously handling that role.

Insight page

Raheim Sanders

NegativeRole5:32

Raheem Sanders was used on third downs for Cleveland in Week 1, but Year Up United's views him as not a very good option for that role, suggesting limited long-term third-down usage.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeUsage3:39

Rasheed Rice's average route depth in Week 1 was notably different from his career baseline, posting the second-highest average route depth of his career; the significance of this shift is debated among analysts.

Insight page
NegativeBust62:38

Rice had one of the most concerning week ones in the NFL; he was lined up out of the slot at a career-low rate while posting a career-high average route depth, suggesting a role shift away from his typical usage. With the Chiefs' run game exceptional and new coordinator Eric Biannemi preferring receivers downfield, Rice—who is not a downfield threat—may see reduced volume. His average separation score has been the worst among wide receiver ones and twos, now the worst among wide receiver fours. The speaker is worried enough to avoid trading DJ Moore for Rice, though willing to trade lower-tier receivers like Jalen Cokers or Matthew Golden for him. Rest-of-season ranking: 25th among receivers.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

NegativeRole6:54

Drew Petzing's Week 1 play-calling did not heavily favor Laporta despite his health; target distribution showed St. Brown and Laporta combined for 56% of targets, with Jamison Williams receiving 23%. The concern heading into the season was whether Laporta would maintain target volume when healthy alongside Williams, as this pairing had not historically produced high volume for both in prior seasons.

Insight page
NegativeUsage43:29

Sam Laporta missed a touchdown opportunity in the end zone during Week 1, which hurt Dan Goff's fantasy output. Laporta is still preferred over Michael Mayer if Bowers is out again in Week 2.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

NegativeRole47:13

Tony Pollard is explicitly excluded from the 'no worrying after one week' stance, with the hosts suggesting there is reason to be worried about his situation, likely due to offensive line or team context concerns.

Insight page
NegativeProjection52:24

Tony Pollard's Week 1 performance was poor and mirrors last year's struggles; worryometer reading of 81.5/100 indicates panic-mode concern. However, speaker notes his strong performance in the final five games of last season and advises against dropping him yet; upcoming schedule includes competitive matchups at Philadelphia, Giants, Baltimore, Houston, and Indianapolis.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeUsage49:20

Etienne played significantly more snaps than Kendrick Henry but received the same number of carries; snap distribution was even until the fourth quarter and overtime, raising questions about his role clarity and workhorse status in the Jacksonville offense.

Insight page
PositiveRole49:31

Etienne's involvement in the passing game is a major positive; Kellen Moore's offenses typically don't involve running backs heavily in the passing game, so Etienne's early usage suggests Moore trusts him fully in that role, which should keep him as a significant part of the offense even if Alvin Kamara returns.

Insight page
NegativeRole49:56

Alvin Kamara's eventual return is a major concern for Etienne's role; Kamara has been excellent in the passing game throughout his career, and the Jaguars will likely run the ball better and have better opportunities once he returns, potentially reducing Etienne's touches and targets.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup50:12

Baltimore's defense will be a difficult matchup for the Jaguars' running game, especially if Baltimore gets healthier on the defensive line; this could limit Etienne's rushing opportunities in Week 2.

Insight page
NegativeProjection50:21

Etienne's concern level is higher in non-PPR formats than in half-PPR or full-PPR; if he maintains his passing game involvement, he should remain a significant part of the offense and a viable fantasy asset across all scoring formats.

Insight page
NegativeProjection50:53

The Jaguars offense is expected to score a significant number of fantasy points, which should support Etienne's value; however, he is not a true workhorse back, which likely makes him an RB2 rather than an elite RB1.

Insight page
NegativeValue51:29

Etienne was drafted as a third-round pick, but after Week 1 performance, Year Up United's would be more cautious and likely draft him in the fourth round in a redraft, suggesting his ADP was too optimistic relative to his actual role and usage.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveProjection44:48

Travis Kelce is preferred over Dallas Goedert in a tight end start/sit decision.

Insight page

Ty Johnson

NegativeInjury5:00

Ty Johnson, the Bills' third-down back, could play in Week 2 after missing or being limited in Week 1.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveBreakout72:37

Flowers posted a 60% target share when on the field in week one, the highest of any receiver in the sample. He is a high-level route runner and mover who thrived in Baltimore's creative play-action and big-personnel scheme, similar to what Jason Moore did last year. While he had a big week one last year before slowing down, his elite route-running ability and the Ravens' creative offensive design under Declan Doyle suggest he could finish as a wide receiver one this year if healthy.

2:58Pretty amazing stat, huh? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. And we're off.
3:01How you guys doing? Wonderful. Wonderful. Who do you think the most added player in our leagues is?
3:07Ooh. I guess probably. Is it Vele? Because he was only like 7% rostered?
3:12Yeah, I would say Vele. It's Vele. He's up to 46% right now.
3:16Bucks and 49ers, DSTs are next. Kalon Black after that.
3:19And Caleb Douglas after that. Not Emmitt Johnson? I thought he would be up there.
3:24Emmitt Johnson is only 5% added from 44% to 49%.
3:27Interesting. Yeah. I dropped Jonathan Brooks for Emmitt Johnson in a league where I have Ken Walker.
3:32I'm like, you know what? I'm just going to lock that backfield up.
3:36Lock it down. Not a bad move. All right.
3:39Coming up on today's show, I'm going to tell you why Rasheed Rice's average route depth was definitely different, and we'll debate
3:46if it was a concern, but very different. Second highest average route depth of his career.
3:51Why Brees Hall should inspire Devon Achan managers. Why Jamison Williams could be the breakout candidate you wanted him to be.
3:58Why Detroit could beat Buffalo, and why Buffalo could beat Detroit.
4:02And Jacob Gibbs is going to come on, and he's going to Gibbs it up.
4:06News and notes real quick, and then we'll get into buy low and sell high.
4:11We also have the Worry-O-Meter Wednesday. All right. News and notes.
4:15Now we get to a more serious note here.
4:18The former girlfriend of Josh Jacobs wants to permanently seal evidence and discovery materials, and that could make it more difficult for the NFL to obtain the video.
4:27This is not necessarily new news. It's kind of broke over the weekend, but just to reiterate here, the woman who is
4:34involved in this incident, she wants everything sealed. And if the NFL can't obtain the video, you could speculate that that could
4:41lead to an earlier return for Josh Jacobs, but it is all speculative at this point.
4:46Christian McCaffrey. This is also old news, but I don't think I ever said it.
4:50Christian McCaffrey was dealing with cramps for a little bit of the game in week one.
4:56That may have contributed a little bit to his lower carry total, but not entirely.
5:00Ty Johnson, Bill's third down back. He could play this week.
5:04Again, not a single route run for James Cook on third down, even without Ty Johnson.
5:09Detroit cornerback DJ Reed was limited with a foot injury.
5:12Cleveland running back Dylan Sampson's on IR. They signed Jaleel McLaughlin to their active roster.
5:17Heath, do you think it didn't really in week one, but do you think this will lead Dylan Sampson being on IR
5:24lead to more opportunities for Quinchon Judkins in the passing game?
5:28If you'd asked me this before week one, I would have said, yes, it will.
5:32Since it didn't in week one, I'm more skeptical now, especially since they add McLaughlin because they were playing Raheem Sanders on
5:39third downs, who I don't think is a very good option on third downs.
5:44McLaughlin has played that role before. So I would say unknown, but skeptical.
5:48Lad McConkie is, we'll call him day to day at this point.
5:52We'll wait to get an update. We'll get some practice reports and see what Lad McConkie is looking like.
5:58But the Chargers, they did sign Marquez Valdez-Scantling to their practice squad, but they had, they have like three wide receiver injuries.
6:05So that's not necessarily related to McConkie. Washington linebacker Frankie Louvu is hoping to avoid IR.
6:10Really from a fantasy standpoint, I think we're all looking forward to Washington at Dallas this week.
6:15And Green Bay gets the Jets. They're going to get the Jets without safety.
6:20Minka Fitzpatrick, he's out this week. Wide receiver Omar Cooper, rookie wide receiver out of Indiana.
6:25He is out this week for the Jets as well.
6:28He's week to week. All right, here we go with the buy lows and the sell highs.
6:34And also players that, I guess I'll call them buy highs, players that we would draft higher if we were drafting today.
6:41But Jamie, you want to start with Jamison Williams as a buy low.
6:45I'm just curious about your Jamison Williams stats. So why don't you give that first?
6:50Well, I was just doing the research for the Thursday night game, which of course features Jamison Williams.
6:55And I think a lot of people knew this before I did, but he had two horrible drops in week one and
7:02they could have led to like over 60 yards of receiving.
7:06So his stat line was four catches for 45 yards on nine targets.
7:10He almost had six catches and he was tackled like inside the one on another play.
7:15He almost had six catches for about 112 yards and a touchdown.
7:19So he almost had a big game, but it wasn't just that.
7:23He had a 23.1% target per out run rate.
7:26And obviously, you know, to even consider this, you have to overreact a little bit to a one week sample size.
7:32But he had 23.1% target per out run rate.
7:35This is Jamison Williams. That's pretty high for him.
7:38He's had 10 games where he's been higher than that and target per out run rate over the last two seasons.
7:45And in those 10 games, Jamison Williams has averaged 17.6 PPR fantasy points per game, which is awesome.
7:51So that's another way of saying, give this man targets and he will usually produce.
7:55And he should have produced in week one. He had a couple of bad drops, but he could have had a massive game.
8:03Jamie, what are you seeing from Jamo as a buy low?
8:06I really think, you know, just anytime he's going to get opportunities, he's typically going to be somebody we're going to be excited about.
8:14And so, you know, this was the first game that we saw with Drew Petsing calling plays.
8:19And it didn't necessarily heavily favor Sam Laporta. I don't think you should worry about Laporta either.
8:25But it still kept Jamison Williams very much involved.
8:28And so that was the concern is we didn't see this type of target volume for the majority of time that Sam Laporta was healthy last year.
8:36Really, anytime Sam Laporta has been healthy with Jamison Williams.
8:39So I hope it continues. And if it does, I think Jamison Williams is going to reward fantasy managers in a big way.
8:47Yeah, I think the big... I mean, it's kind of weird because if you look at the target share, almost everybody was
8:54a little bit higher than I had them projected.
8:57I think it's going to be very difficult for...
8:59And this could go for Laporta too if it stays like it was.
9:04But 56% of the targets went to St. Brown and Laporta.
9:07And then another 23% go to JMO. And it was just that Gibbs didn't run quite as many routes and nobody else was involved.
9:15Like you want to talk about a concentrated target share.
9:18The top three guys, not Jameer Gibbs. He wasn't one of the top three guys.
9:23The top three guys had like an 83% target share.
9:26Yeah. And remember that, you know, the guy I said that really benefited the most from Laporta's injury in terms of targets last year was actually Jameer Gibbs.
9:35You know, obviously you can make the case it was JMO as well.
9:39But even the two games before the injury, JMO was getting more involved.
9:43Jameer Gibbs, his targets really spiked. But he still had five catches on five targets.
9:48One target for Vakie, one for Brock Wright, one for Isaac Tesla in week one.
9:53I think the one thing, like when you look at a lot of the teams that we love across the board, we
10:00didn't get a Khalif Raymond or a Kendrick Bourne for the Lions.
10:04Like we didn't see Isaac Tesla. Okay. And you know what?
10:07As we go through these, I'll throw out some names.
10:10Would you trade this guy for that guy or whatever?
10:14But let's go to your next guy here, Jameer.
10:16Your next buy low is Jalen Waddle who had three targets, two yards on one catch at the Chiefs.
10:22And a bad drop, you know, so it's not all completely.
10:26The play calling, but you can't give this guy only three targets in a game where you're chasing points and you have a new play caller.
10:34It was just frustrating across the board to watch.
10:37And the Chiefs did a great job. You know, there was a lot of rolled coverage in Jalen Waddle's direction, you know,
10:44putting two guys on him at various times, knowing that he was probably going to get opportunities.
10:50But still, you have to create some chances for a player that you invested pretty heavily in to make some big plays.
10:57And so I think that will change against Jacksonville.
10:59I hope that will change against Jacksonville. Bo Nix was obviously a disaster.
11:04Again, Davis Webb, as we talked about yesterday, was not great in his debut.
11:08So we'll see what changes from Sean Payton's standpoint.
11:11But everybody that has Jalen Waddle right now is frustrated and panicking.
11:15And so it might be an opportunity to go get him if you have a running back or some other player that
11:22you might be able to turn Jalen Waddle into.
11:25All right. But you were concerned about Waddle going in.
11:28And this is exactly... I didn't expect this. No, I know.
11:31I was just concerned that, you know, what we saw last year, really from the two years of Bo Nix, was there
11:38was one player that kind of hovered in the 120 target range and then three or four other guys that were kind of in that 90 plus range.
11:47Only twice in the last two years do we have...
11:51I'm sorry, only twice do we have two guys over 100 targets, you know, for the Broncos, despite the fact that they threw 600 plus passes last year.
12:00So this is just an easy chance that if you see Jalen Waddle and the fantasy managers who have him or the
12:07fantasy manager league that has him, that has some questions about maybe another position and is loaded at receivers.
12:13Let's say they had Jalen Waddle and DJ Moore and Parker Washington, you know, some combination of, you know, these guys.
12:19Jalen Coker, you know, for example, Matthew Golden, you know, like they feel pretty good about the receiving core, but they don't
12:26have a good running back room and vice versa for you, you know, go try and get Jalen Waddle while he's cheap.
12:33Okay. So would you trade Chuba Hubbard for Jalen Waddle?
12:37In a heartbeat. Oh, yeah. You would. Okay. Would you trade...
12:40Hmm. Okay. Would you trade Christian Watson for Jalen Waddle?
12:43I had them ranked so close to begin with.
12:46I probably wouldn't, but you know, that's one that I think that there's hopefully some more upside for Waddle.
12:52Heath, let's get to your bylaws. Drake London and George Pickens.
12:56I think with, and both of these guys like probably seem a little bit obvious.
13:00I've not downgraded their rest of season outlook at all.
13:04So if anybody has, you want to go get those guys.
13:07I think the Drake London, maybe you have a little bit of a window just because Michael Pennix hasn't been cleared yet.
13:14They've got their starting quarterback press conference this afternoon and it's scheduled to be Cooper Rush's press conference.
13:20We're probably getting one more week of Cooper Rush.
13:23I don't know that things will be any better with week two with Cooper Rush, although the matchup's a lot easier.
13:30Um, but I fully expect as soon as they have a starting quarterback, Drake London is going to be a top eight
13:37wide receiver and there should be basically no concern other than the fact that Cooper Rush might start one more game.
13:43The face in Carolina this week. And, uh, that's Drake London, George Pickens.
13:47We talked about it on beyond the box score.
13:50I mean, just no reason not to, not to buy low on the Cowboys passing game.
13:55We saw this almost this exact same game last week.
13:59I think he had three for 30 in week one last year in 2025 and it was 12 straight weeks of at least of double digit fantasy performance.
14:08He scored 17 points in week two. It's the commanders.
14:11It's going to be awesome. If you can do.
14:14Okay. Let's go to your cell highs. Then you're selling high on Ramond Ray Stevenson coming off a game with a lot
14:21of cat, a lot of touches basically, uh, 23 touches at Seattle.
14:24He gets Pittsburgh at home this week, maybe Travion Henderson playing.
14:28So Ramond Ray Stevenson and DJ Moore. That's an interesting one.
14:31All right, go for it. So it was an 86% snap share.
14:35I believe for Ramond Ray Stevenson in week one, that won't happen anymore.
14:39The rest of the year, except for maybe if they get to the playoffs and decide they hate Travion Henderson again.
14:46Um, no. And I thought like, it was a tough matchup.
14:50Seattle is really good. So I don't want to make too much about this, but it looked a lot more like pre
14:572025 Ramond Ray Stevenson than 2025 Ramond Ray Stevenson.
15:00And I wouldn't be surprised if he's just not as explosive or good as he was last year.
15:05And that gives Henderson a little window to get more touches.
15:09They desperately, desperately need speed on this offense, especially with AJ Brown out and Henderson's about the only guy that can bring that.
15:16Okay. So Stevenson and DJ Moore will get to in a second.
15:20Let's talk about who you would prefer to Ramond Ray Stevenson.
15:23Um, yeah. What do you like? Who are some guys that maybe who would be looking to sell Stevenson for?
15:30Well, I mean, it's not generally one-to-one running back trades, but I think I had him around RB 22, um, in the
15:37draft season or 23 and, and he didn't go up any for that.
15:41I think Bucky Irving was a guy that was right in his range.
15:45I strongly prefer Bucky Irving. Bree Sol, like if you could get Ramond Ray plus something, um, for him, Jeremiah Love.
15:52Okay. Yeah. Uh, yeah. Maybe you make a package deal, get one of these really good bylaws, maybe turn Ramond Ray and
15:59something into Drake London or George Pickens, something like that.
16:02Uh, DJ Moore had five catches, a hundred yards and a touchdown, maybe slightly fluky with the touchdown, uh, eight targets at
16:09Houston in his first game as a bill. And now you're saying sell high on DJ Moore.
16:15Yeah. I just, I think that we're probably going to see a higher run split in most games than we did against the Texans.
16:22I think you can probably take the under on DJ Moore averaging 20 yards per reception.
16:27It was a awesome game for Dalton Kincaid and the touchdown and Khalil Shakir didn't go anywhere.
16:33He had six targets in this game also. So I think it's at the very least a three headed attack.
16:39They, they want to throw the ball to James cook more.
16:43It might be a four headed attack and the touchdown was fluky.
16:46It's interesting though. I mean, he gets eight targets on 29 pass attempts in his first game.
16:52He scores a touchdown against Houston Texans. He was only started in 61% of leagues, DJ Moore.
16:57So how high are we selling here? Like you got to get what a second round value for him at this point, third round.
17:05Oh no, I dig a third round value. Okay.
17:08Okay. You could probably turn DJ Moore into Colston Loveland.
17:11If you have, you know, tight end, maybe to throw in with it.
17:15I mean, I think you, I think a lot of people would sell Loveland for DJ Moore straight up based on some of the comments I've seen about.
17:24Well, I mean, that's fair, but you know, I, I, I, I, I'm very encouraged by DJ Moore.
17:30You know, I mean, look, the, the touchdown was a little fluky and, and granted Heath is right.
17:36They're going to be a little bit more balanced, but first game also with a new coach slash the guy who maybe
17:43wanted to throw the ball a little bit more last year and throw the ball in some different situations.
17:49And you saw that. So I think that's encouraging for the entire bills offense.
17:53Okay. And let's go to Jamie's sell highs. Just to recap real quick here.
17:58Jamie said, buy low on Jamison Williams and Jalen Waddle.
18:01Heath said, buy low on Drake London and George Pickens.
18:04Heath said, sell high on Ramondre Stevenson and DJ Moore.
18:07Jamie's going to tell us who he wants to sell high on, but first we're going to take a break.
18:14Jamie's got two running backs, two running backs who were in the rounds, probably four to five, four to six range by the end of draft season here.
18:23And then we'll tell you about the players who really stood out in week one and we're going to draft them higher.
18:30If we were drafting today, we're buying into their early season performance.
18:33We'll be right back with those names on fantasy football today.
18:37My companion for this summer season has been Z Biotics.

20:45I recently took a trip to Memphis for the FFT Draftathon.
20:49While we were there, we also got to experience a little bit of what makes Memphis so special, including some of the food the city is famous for.
20:58We had Memphis style barbecue with pulled pork, ribs, and all the classic sides.
21:02It was an incredible trip, especially getting to spend time with everyone involved.
21:06Enjoy some great local food and support a cause that means so much.
21:10And while I was away enjoying the trip, my place back home was just sitting empty.
21:16It got me thinking. If you're going to be away anyway, why not put that space to use?
21:21While you're traveling or taking off for a long weekend, you could list your space on Airbnb and earn some extra cash while you're gone.
21:29And when big events come to your city, like a major game, concert, festival, or convention, travelers are looking for places to stay.
21:37Listing your space on Airbnb can be a way to welcome those visitors to your city while putting your space to work
21:44and earning some extra cash that you can put toward your next trip.
21:48Your home might be worth more than you think.
21:51Find out how much at airbnb.com slash host. Welcome back, everybody.
21:54Okay. Jamie says sell high on David Montgomery who had 20 carries in week one and Cam Scadaboo who had 18 carries in week one.
22:02Jamie, why would I sell high on guys who are getting me 18 and 20 carries?
22:07Well, I mean, you're not giving them away. So these are the type of players I think you try and go get
22:14a Jalen Waddle or Drake London or George Pickens or some of these receivers that struggled if the other manager has this
22:21plethora of receivers on their team and can, you know, need and need some help at running back.
22:27This was what we hoped for David Montgomery was to find the end zone.
22:32We hoped that he was going to lead the team in carries.
22:35Clearly 60 yards rushing is not great. And we know the bills run defense is not great.
22:41So when the touchdowns are not there, and I did love the fact that he had three catches as well, but when
22:48the touchdowns are not there, you're going to have some empty stat lines.
22:52So I just think you're maximizing a player that may have been a borderline starter for you or potential flex slash bench
22:59player that you can turn into hopefully a great starting option while his value might be at the absolute highest and Scadaboo
23:06kind of the same situation like this worked out really well for him or has worked out really well for him because
23:13we didn't know what they would do with Najee and made him a healthy scratch.
23:18We didn't know what they would do with Tracy and he fumbled again.
23:22And then now it's kind of Devin Singletary in this backup role and then playing on passing downs.
23:28The fact that Scadaboo had very minimal involvement in the passing game, certainly no stats in the passing game is extremely discouraging.
23:35And so if you just look at it and say, oh, he scored against Dallas, he had 18 carries.
23:41Maybe you could turn that into a superstar again at another position or buying low on another running back with a package.
23:48So like, for example, could you turn him into, if you still believe in Devon HN, that's not a bad move to
23:55try and go make, you know, here, I'll give you Scadaboo and for Devon HN, or maybe same thing with James Cook
24:02coming off a disappointing game as well. So these are the type of running backs I think you could turn into other quality players.
24:10And in the case of Scadaboo, we know that there's the injury concern as well.
24:14So while he's healthy and playing well and getting all this work, maybe flip him for something that could be incredible.
24:21It's a good point of trying to take advantage of Omari and Hampton and Devon HN.
24:26You know, you're not unlikely to be able to sell Scadaboo straight up for Devon HN.
24:31But you might be able to for Waddle. You might be able to for who's another receiver in the range.
24:38You know, if you like Devonta Adams, you know, coming off a bad game.
24:42I don't know if I would. Let me just, just to say for Scadaboo, like one thing I liked about him, and
24:49we talked about this a couple of weeks ago, was his early season schedule.
24:54So this week could be tough, right? At the Rams.
24:57But then Tennessee, Arizona, at Washington, New Orleans. I mean, I think he's going to score some touchdowns in these games.
25:04Listen, when he's out there and knowing that the workload, if this is what we're getting, is this, you're very encouraged.
25:10Yeah. But injury concerns still have to be there for him.
25:14And what happens when they're chasing points? Yeah. Yeah.
25:17Yeah. And the zero catches is definitely something that that's a concern.
25:20Dan, Dan is hopeful that they'll get him more involved in the passing game because he was so good there.
25:27But he was on pace for 60 catches last year in his, in his games with a normal snap share.
25:33And he had zero in week one and didn't play on third down even before Tracy was removed.
25:39Okay. So David Montgomery, who do you like better, by the way, Montgomery or Scadaboo rest of season?
25:45Still Scadaboo, but it's close. Yeah. And if you guys were drafting today, would you take Jamison Williams first or who Jamison
25:52Williams, Montgomery, Scadaboo, who'd be your first pick? Jamo.
25:55Probably Scadaboo. Okay. Now let's talk about players. We would draft higher if we were drafting today.
26:00Ooh, Jamie got a long list. You got six guys here.
26:04Who's the headliner? Took all of them. Took all of them.
26:07Who's the headliner for you? For me personally, or just what I would recommend?
26:11For you. Who's the guy who made the biggest impact on you in week one?
26:16Probably Bucky. You know, I, I mean, I, you know, had expectations for Caleb Williams.
26:21He exceeded them, but I thought he was going to be a top 10 quarterback challenge to be top five guy.
26:28You know, Bucky, I was concerned about, you know, I didn't know what they were going to do with him in terms
26:35of goal line opportunities and passing down work. We don't know the goal line stuff yet, but the fact that he was
26:42so good in the passing game and Kenneth Gable was so uninvolved, that's the most encouraging thing for me.
26:48And so if, if, and, and you mentioned this, you know, just in the way that he looked like he looked awesome.
26:55And so that's, you know, something that you can say, okay, maybe he's back.
26:59And maybe the fact that the Bengals run defense, which I think we'll find to be very good as the season goes
27:06on is going to stifle a lot of running backs.
27:10He was able to overcome it and still have a very solid game.
27:14So he's probably the one that if, you know, I got to a point where I was drafting him in the fourth
27:21round after watching him like, okay, you want to take him around too?
27:25Fine. Cool. He looks awesome. You know, worth it.
27:28So the list here for Jamie is Caleb Williams, Bucky Irving, Kyle Monongai, Jalen Coker, Matthew Golden, and Isaiah Likely.
27:34Yeah. Caleb, Bucky, Monongai, Jalen Coker, Matthew Golden, Isaiah Likely.
27:37I'm sure you could throw DeAndre Swift on that list.
27:41I asked. I was taking him in the third round, so I don't know how much higher I would have taken him.
27:48Okay. I asked Jacob and Dan yesterday, who would you take right now?
27:52I guess it was Monday. DeAndre Swift or Devon Achan?
27:55And they did not have the same answer. One said Achan, one said Swift.
27:59Who would you guys take? Achan. I mean, you know me.
28:03I was not very fond of Devon Achan coming into the season.
28:07I'd probably still take Achan just with the hope that he bounces back and plays better than he did in week one.
28:14Yeah. And he had, what, four or five catches, Devon Achan?
28:17He's on the Worryometer, so we'll talk about him.
28:20He had four catches for 30 yards. Okay. So with Caleb, like, it was amazing.
28:25And obviously we know what Ben Johnson said about the scoring record and all that.
28:30What do you guys think about Caleb being the number one quarterback in fantasy this year?
28:35How realistic? More realistic for the full season than from this point forward?
28:39I think it's realistic in the sense that they'll give him the chances.
28:43You know, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson look really good, though, so it's hard to say he's going to be better than those two guys.
28:51When you have Jalen Coker and Matthew Golden, right?
28:54Let's say you have them on your roster. Do you feel like, okay, I can go make a trade.
29:00Like, I took this wide receiver in the fourth round.
29:03I can turn him into a running back because I've got Jalen Coker and or Matthew Golden, and I'm going to be
29:10able to start them most weeks and feel good about it.
29:14But I think there's two scenarios of trying to do that.
29:17You're saying, I'm sorry, to keep Coker? I'm saying, like, you keep them.
29:21I'm not saying they're going to be as good as the player you're trading, but you just feel like, all right, I stole Coker and or Matthew Golden.
29:30These guys are going to be at worst number three receiver.
29:34Like, I'm good. Perfect example. You've got DJ Moore, and he's your wide receiver.
29:38Like, you took him in round four, and so he's your wide receiver too.
29:43And you trade him for one of the round three running backs because you're going to start Coker or Golden all year.
29:50Yeah, basically. I kind of – when you were saying – I'm sorry.
29:54I was thinking you were going in a different direction.
29:57Like, I would definitely try, and if you could, Coker, Golden.
30:01I'm trying to think anybody else that fell in this range.
30:04I don't think anybody's doing Devon Vele. But, like, could you turn that into A.J.
30:09Brown? Because knowing that that manager doesn't have Brown for another six weeks, like, if you have a great roster and Coker
30:16can't crack your starting lineup, but you know by a fantasy playoff time A.J.
30:20Brown will. Would you turn Coker into – who struggled this week at wide receiver in, like, the round five-ish range?
30:27Devontae Adams. Devontae Adams. Yeah. I mean, again, like, if you're never playing Jalen Coker just because you have a loaded team
30:34and that's – you know, I may sound silly for saying this, and you know how much I love Jalen Coker.
30:41Like, he's not going to do this every week, but, you know, he averaged 14 PPR points per game in the final
30:48six games of the season, five games of the season, including the playoffs last year.
30:53And so he's going to be productive, I hope.
30:56Like, yeah, if you could turn him into something that you think is better, you absolutely should be trying to do that
31:03because this is maximizing the player's value while it's at his highest.
31:06Let me ask you guys about Isaiah Likely and his route participation.
31:10And if that bothers you at all, let me just get the stat for you.
31:15It was a lot better than his snap participation.
31:18I believe his route participation was 67%. His snap was in the 40s.
31:22Yeah, like high 40s. So I gave the stat on Beyond the Box score on Monday.
31:27If you look at the top eight tight ends per game last year, McBride, Kittle, Kraft, Bowers, Pitts, Goddard, Laporta, Harold Fannin,
31:34all of them had a route participation rate of at least 75% when they were playing, except for Fannin, who was 71%,
31:41and he was tight end eight per game. Likely was like 67%.
31:45So was Dalton Kincaid, 68%. It's only one game.
31:48But based on last year, you wouldn't have been a tight end.
31:52None of the top eight tight ends had route participation rates that low.
31:56So is this a concern? Because like likely had like a 35% target per outrun rate in week one, which obviously is not going to continue.
32:04I don't think anyway. Well, how high are we thinking Isaiah likely should rank?
32:09Honestly, okay. McBride, Bowers, and I think we probably still say Loveland is a top three tight end, right?
32:15Yep. Is it really unrealistic that Isaiah likely could finish ahead of every guy who was drafted ahead of him at tight end?
32:22Sounds more unlikely if he's going to have a 67% route share.
32:26Well, there you go. I don't think it's unrealistic at all.
32:29Right. Like that group could finish in any order.
32:32And I mean, I guess the top three. I know, you know, Dave and I kept using the same stat.
32:39Like he had a very good track record and a small sample size of when he had six targets or more of what he produced in his career.
32:48It's like nine times, you know, but he averaged over 12 PPR points per game in those nine games.
32:54So can he continue to be a focal point in the offense?
32:58And again, don't expect what he did in week one, but can he give you four for 60 on a weekly basis and then the occasional touchdown?
33:06So he finishes with eight or nine touchdowns. Like that's, I think, on the table.
33:11Five for 60, you know, whatever you think he's going to average from a, you know, yards per catch standpoint.
33:17It's just, you know, Jackson Dart looked great. The offensive line looked great.
33:21You know, they played a Dallas defense that obviously got banged up throughout the course of the game, but may have been
33:29overrated going into it based on the moves that they made.
33:32And so now you're seeing, you talked about the schedule for them.
33:36It might even be better for the passing game.
33:39And so here's this guy that we've been just waiting to see featured.
33:43And hey, he looked great. He did. So it's hard to give up.
33:47And I had actually somebody asked me this morning in a 10-team league.
33:51They don't have a flex, which I hate, and start three receivers.
33:55Should he drop Alec Pierce for Isaiah Leckley? He's the Colston Loveland manager.
33:59And I said, I probably would just keep Pierce because his depth at receiver is pretty bad.
34:05So as a player, I'd much rather have Isaiah Leckley, but he can't play him.
34:09So you've got to make some tough calls, I think, in certain situations.
34:14But I'm so excited about Isaiah Leckley after seeing what he did.
34:17We have a lot of these, but the Giants and the Chiefs might be the two biggest, like going from the Cowboys to the Rams.
34:25Yeah. Going from the Broncos to the Colts. Like they're just almost not even playing the same game.
34:31Yeah, right. Exactly. I mean, the Giants did this against the Cowboys.
34:35But I would think Isaiah Leckley is going to earn more of a route share going forward.
34:40He needs to be on the field. But I just think it was interesting that with Dalton Kincaid's big plays, which you
34:47just can't expect, and with Isaiah Leckley's 34-35% target per outrun rate, which you just can't expect, if you want to turn
34:54those guys into Colston Loveland, I mean, if 100 fantasy managers offered Isaiah Leckley for Colston Loveland, I think 25% of them would get accepted.
35:02You know, that's how fantasy managers work. So I know some of you are sitting at home going, oh, there's no way you could do that or whatever.
35:11But no, there is. I see these trades all the time.
35:15And personally, I would do it. Maybe some of you wouldn't even do it.
35:19Maybe you're worried about Loveland. Personally, I would trade either of those guys for Loveland.
35:24I assume you guys would too. You're saying you would offer likely to the Loveland manager?
35:29Straight up, yeah, to get Loveland. Yeah. I think more than 25%.
35:33Yeah, I think so too, actually. I was just saying that because I didn't want to.
35:38Especially if somebody lost in week one. Heath, the guys that you're excited about that you're ranking higher are the Chiefs backfield, Walker and Emmitt Johnson.
35:46Yeah, I think, I mean, Walker probably should have been in round one.
35:51Jamie was the highest on him. So good job on that.
35:54And Emmitt Johnson, I touted Mike Washington a lot as being kind of ignored in the handcuff range early in draft season.
36:01And Emmitt Johnson should have been right there next to him in round 10 or round 11.
36:07He looked very good also. And if Walker misses time, he's going to be somebody we rank as a must-start running back.
36:14Let's get into Wednesday night or Thursday. Let's get, I'm so confused.
36:17It's the quickest game preview in the history of game previews.
36:21Yeah, start everyone. Right. This should be great. But I think more questions with, no, I mean, there's some questions, right?
36:28Like who's you starting Jameis? Oh man, you can't hit Dave with the game of the week.
36:33I know. Well, not just that, but I need someone to do the na-na-na-na's here.
36:38I guess I'll do it myself. All right. Thursday night football.
36:41Na-na-na-na-na-na. Nah. All right. Sorry. It's Dave's thing. You can't steal it.
36:45I can do it with, I can do it instead.
36:48I don't think you guys can do it. I think he'd let me do it.
36:53Stat of the game for Detroit to Buffalo, because there aren't a lot of tough calls in this game.
36:59But Dalton Schultz had eight targets against Buffalo in week one.
37:03And remember, Buffalo was number one against tight ends last year.
37:06No tight end had more than six targets against the Bills in 2025.
37:10That's amazing. And already in one game, we have more than that.
37:14And also, I remember watching Bills tape last year, how they defended tight ends.
37:19They were obsessed with taking away short area targets, not just for tight ends, but for all positions.
37:24They gave up like the second fewest completions per game of targets of zero to five air yards.
37:30Well, that was about six per game. In week one, they gave up eight of those, which is about middle of the pack.
37:37So something to keep an eye on. I think we could still consider them a tough matchup against tight ends, but I'm not sure.
37:45It's a different coordinator, different scheme maybe. And they didn't seem as obsessed with taking away the short stuff, which is generally where the tight ends live.
37:54So Sam Laporta coming off kind of a disappointing game.
37:57Facing the Buffalo Bills. You know, I think it's a legitimate question about starting or sitting him.
38:02How do we feel about Laporta? Start him. I would start him also, but just expect the potential for another bad game.
38:09And then this is a great by-law candidate if he does.
38:13Okay. Jared Goff or Drake May? Goff. May. The Drake May rankings are very different.
38:18Heath is like fine with it. And Jamie and Dave, last I checked anyway, are sitting Drake May.
38:23Mike is dismayed. May hasn't had a great game in a while.
38:27That's true. I look forward to talking about that one here.
38:31So how about Jared Goff or Matthew Stafford against the Giants?
38:34I go back and forth with these two, but this has the highest projected total of the week, so I'll take off.
38:41I think Stafford is the other guy that I'm way higher than everybody else on, so I'll say Stafford.
38:47Okay. Jared Goff or Trevor Lawrence at the Broncos?
38:50I love Trevor Lawrence this week. I've got Goff higher.
38:53Not a lot of agreement here. All right. Start Jameer Gibbs.
38:57Start Amon Ross, St. Brown. Jamie? The funny thing about all those disagreements is Jamie and I have Jared Goff ranked in the exact same spot.
39:05That is funny. Which is where? 12 or 13.
39:08Yeah, right there. Okay. Yeah, he's 13th for you guys.
39:11He's 11th for Dave. I mean, I think he could score 35 points.
39:15This is going to be a shootout, right? Yeah.
39:18He could be amazing this week, but quarterback's deep.
39:21So wide receiver Jamison Williams here. Jamie, how do we feel about him?
39:25Is he an easy start this week? Yeah, totally.
39:28I think you go right back to him with the hope that if the Bills do what the Bills do, which is,
39:35you know, making stuff on tight ends, we get another seven-plus targets for Jameau, and I think he'll deliver.
39:41You know, hopefully it's not cutting your hair and you lose all your powers.
39:46But I'm still very excited about Jamison Williams after what I saw in week one.
39:51Okay, he's around 24th for everyone. Like, there's nobody on by, so just because a guy's not ranked in the top 15
39:58doesn't mean you shouldn't start him or whatever. And would you start?
40:01I'd start him over Drake London, for example, if Cooper Rush is the starter.
40:06Oh, hell yeah. I mean, I'd start Isaac Tesla over Drake.
40:09No. Would you start Jamison Williams or Cam Scadaboo at the Rams?
40:13I would start Jamison Williams at VPR. If you had this luxury and could think about sitting Travis Achan at the Ravens,
40:20Travis Achan, would you start Jamo or Achan? Travis Achan.
40:23Achan. I would start Achan. I'd just keep an eye on Camaro's status.
40:28That'd make me a little bit more nervous about it.
40:31Yeah. What's his name? CJ Donaldson was their third down back for the Saints.
40:35He kind of... I think he just played the Camaro snaps.
40:39I hope so. Played a lot of snaps, but he and Achan split the third down.
40:44We'll talk about him in Worryometer. Okay, Laporta. I don't know.
40:47It's funny when a lot of people have like two tight ends, but who's the best tight end in this game?
40:54I mean, one of them is Laporta. Who's the best tight end in this game?
40:59Laporta. Laporta. Okay. Laporta or Likely? Likely. Laporta. Laporta or Loveland?
41:02Loveland. Loveland. Start Josh Allen. Start James Cook. DJ Moore or Jamison Williams?
41:07DJ Moore. Oh, yeah. Is DJ Moore just a must start this week?
41:11Absolutely. Top 15 or two. This is the kind of week you want DJ Moore.
41:1654 and a half point total. In fact, Heath, it's a little risky.
41:20You want to sell high on the guy, but maybe wait a week?
41:24You could wait a week. Okay. How about that?
41:27You might get more with somebody looking at the Detroit game.
41:30That's true. Right in front of them. How about Khalil Shakir?
41:34Start or sit? Borderline starter and 3C release. Yeah.
41:37Yeah. More of a flex for me, but that's kind of the same thing.
41:41Yeah. Let's see if we have any questions from the chat.
41:45And by the way, where is... Let's see. Shakir is ranked.
41:48Shakir. What is happening here? I can't find Khalil Shakir.
41:51He's not in our top 48 consensus. I think I have a 47th.
41:55So Dave must be low on him. Man. So starting a guy like Josh Downs or Wondale Robinson or, you know, Carnell
42:02Tate, Jordan Addison over Khalil Shakir, you do that?
42:05Or you just want all the pieces of this game that you can get?
42:10I mean, I think there's pros and cons for all the guys that you mentioned.
42:15It's not like Shakir is coming off a huge game.
42:18He had nine PPR points, you know? So there's plenty of chances here.
42:22You got to consider him third best in the pecking order, right?
42:26And as Heath alluded to, you know, if we get more from James Cook, he could be fourth best.
42:32Well, didn't he have the same amount of targets as...
42:35No, no. He had a great involvement. But it's still...
42:38We know what Khalil Shakir's career has been. And that was at times when he was the best receiver for the Bills.
42:45So I just don't think it's an automatic, hey, I'm playing him over some of these other guys.
42:51And like you said, that even includes Josh Downs coming off a disappointing game.
42:55Wondell Robinson just being on a terrible team. You know, there was a lot of cases, you know, just based on writing the waiver wire column.
43:04Those guys were rostered in more leagues than Khalil Shakir.
43:07So I don't know how many people were dropping them to pick up Shakir.
43:11Okay. And Shakir... I'd start Vele over Shakir. All right.
43:15Let's read some questions from the chat. Goff or Herbert?
43:18Goff. That's contingent on McConkie for me, though. Yeah, I've got Herbert like half a point better.
43:23You know, Goff, obviously the numbers were pretty bad.
43:26Those two drops from Jamison Williams really hurt his numbers.
43:29Those were huge plays. Yeah. Missing Sam Laporta in the end zone didn't help either.
43:34Didn't help you. And you needed overtime for him to get there too.
43:38Right. Yeah. That's one of the biggest things looking at projections this week is like it wasn't just that they went to overtime.
43:46Those teams were already running a lot of plays in that game.
43:49I think the Saints ran 86. Yeah. You should probably chop all of their targets in third, like take a third off.
43:56The Saints were really bad for about two and a half quarters.
44:00And they hit a deep shot to Olave and just got jump started.
44:04Laporta or Michael Mayer if Bowers is out again?
44:07Laporta. Laporta. Jamison Williams or Drake London? You said that earlier.
44:11Who's the quarterback? Okay. If it's Rush, you go Jamo.
44:14Let's say it's Tua. London. Goff or Mahomes? Goff.
44:17Ooh, I think I have Goff like one spot ahead.
44:20DJ Moore or Jalen Coker? Moore. Moore. DJ Moore, Cam Scadaboo, Malik Neighbors, Judkins, or Debo.
44:25Wow. Okay. Moore, Scadaboo, Neighbors, Judkins, Debo, Samuel, half PPR.
44:28Who are you going with? Neighbors. Moore. Who should I sit here?
44:32Neighbors. Jamo Smith, Devante Smith, Christian Watson. Jamo. I would sit, I think I have Watson behind Jamo.
44:38Yep. Laporta or Kittle? Laporta. Kincaid or Fannin? Kincaid.
44:41Kincaid. Shakir or Sutton? Oh, wow. Shakir. I probably need to change that.
44:45To what? Shakir. Bowers or Kincaid if Bowers plays?
44:48Bowers. Bowers. DJ Moore or Luther Burden against Minnesota?
44:51Moore. I've got Burden. Tyler Shuck or Jared Goff?
44:54Goff. Goff. Okay. Okay. And Tyler Shuck this week gets Baltimore, which, yeah, I'm curious to see how the Saints do because
45:01they really struggled for a while against the Lions and the Ravens defense was great last week.
45:06Sit the DSTs and sit down and get ready for the Worryometer.
45:10That's coming up after this break on Fantasy Football today.

47:10Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Nah. All right, comment here from...
47:13I think it's great you have to do it by yourself.
47:17Comment here from Jay Gotti. That Jay Gotti? There should be no worrying after one week of football.
47:23I've been knowing this for 20 years. Learn something.
47:25Judkins is the only person you need to be concerned about.
47:29Oh, so there should be worrying after one week of football?
47:33Just Judkins. Just Judkins. Not Tony Pollard. No. I mean, bad offense.
47:36Yeah. There's reason to be worried. You know, we need Worryometer theme music, I think.
47:41We definitely need some theme music for Worryometer. So, we've got to figure it out.
47:46By the way, I've been dying to... Maybe Dan's version of Fantasy Cops?
47:50Uh, okay. No, play the real version. We want to hear you.
47:54I was just killing time. Until I found it.
47:57It's really hard. Worryometer! All right, zero to ten on the Worryometer from Sounds RS.
48:02Colston Loveland. Zero. Zero? I'll say two. Yeah, me too.
48:05No, no, okay, listen. We got this Worryometer graphic here.
48:08Thomas, either... We have to make an adjustment here.
48:11This goes up to a hundred. So, either Jamie and Heath have to give numbers between one and a hundred or zero and a hundred.
48:19Okay, I'll give one and a hundred. Multiply by ten.
48:22I would just... Yeah, well, let's do one to a hundred.
48:25Zero to a hundred now. Twenty-one. Okay. Oh, that's beautiful.
48:29It's very cool. All right, if you want to see it, it's youtube.com slash fantasyfootball today.
48:34All right, we're not worried about Loveland. We broke it down on Beyond the Box score on the Monday episode.
48:40I encourage you to listen to it. I did point out, same stuff, right?
48:45Extremely high average route depth. Still hasn't had a screen pass in his entire career.
48:49So, doesn't get those layup points. Little volatile here.
48:52They're still a run-heavy team. But come on, like, they're going to score two points.
48:57He's going to be fine. Also, Sam's running the Worryometer.
49:00So, don't steal his thunder. Okay, sorry. Sam, good job.
49:03For those of you who don't know, Sam Davis, another one of our producers, doing a great job.
49:09Matt says, Worryometer for Travis Etienne Etienne. Where are we?
49:1215. 31. Oh. All right, I think let's go right in the middle.
49:17Let's go to, like, 23. I think that's in the middle.
49:20Yeah. Good math. Thank you. Thank you. That was excellent.
49:23Bad movie. The movie 23. No one remembers, but it exists.
49:27But, yeah, good Worryometer number here. What do you make of it, Jamie?
49:31Travis Etienne played a lot more snaps than Kendry Miller, but they had the same amount of carries.
49:37And the snaps were pretty even until the fourth quarter and overtime.
49:41This was just a weird one. What do you make of it?
49:44I love the involvement in the passing game. I think it's hard to overlook that.
49:49So, the one thing that we said, and Heath was great at pointing this out in Philadelphia, that Kellen Moore just doesn't
49:56usually involve his running backs in the passing game.
49:59And we saw that. So, is it a matter of he has someone that he trusts fully in that regard?
50:05Along with that, what happens when Kamara comes back?
50:08Because that's something that he's been very good at throughout his career.
50:12So, that would be my biggest concern. They're going to run the ball better.
50:17They're going to have better opportunities. They were chasing points, I think, the entire game.
50:21I know it wasn't very much the entire game, but they were chasing points.
50:26So, let's see what happens against Baltimore. It's not going to be easy to run on them, especially if they get a
50:33little bit healthier in their defensive line. So, worried probably more so in non-PPR than half or full.
50:39But if you tell me that he's going to be this involved in the passing game to whatever split you want it
50:46to be, you know, take the plays off, take the targets off, he's still going to be a big part of this
50:53offense, and hopefully still a big part of the passing game, then I'm going to be okay with it.
50:59What's your take on it, Heath? I think Jamie pretty much said it well.
51:03It was... We think this is going to be an offense that scores quite a few fantasy points.
51:09Travis A. Shannon is the lead running back, but he's not the workhorse.
51:13And that probably makes him an RB too. But this one, I think you could almost do...
51:19Because it's one week. I felt the same way after the buy lows and the sell highs also.
51:24But it's one week. In a lot of leagues, you can't buy low on anybody.
51:29And in some leagues, you could buy low on everybody.
51:32But I almost think the worryometer needs to be like, this is how worried I am.
51:37This is how worried I will be if next week looks the same.
51:41I was taking a lot of A-chan. I thought he was a third-round pick.
51:46And I would have to say at this point, if I were doing it again, I'd probably be more cautious and make him a fourth-round pick.
51:54I just was very surprised that Kendrick Miller got as much work as he did.
51:59All right. From John Gill Fan Club, worryometer on Tony Pollard.
52:0389. 74. Oh, so that's 81 right in the middle there?
52:0681 and a half? Okay. We're in panic mode, folks, on Tony Pollard.
52:10It was bad. They're going to have to play.
52:13They're going to have to be more competitive. Philadelphia this week, probably not.
52:17At the Giants, at Baltimore, Houston, at Indianapolis. It's just some games in there where they could be more competitive.
52:24But it sucked. Not much to say about Tony Pollard.
52:27It looks like last year. But, you know, I can't help but think of the last five games where he was really good.
52:34Maybe don't drop him yet. Don't drop him yet.
52:37He said, what's he on the drop-o-meter, Tony Pollard?
52:40Two. I was going to say one. Okay. Yeah.
52:43All right. This is from I'm Doing My Part.
52:46Mostly worried about Cracklin Oat Bran. Down bad at the moment.
52:49What's our worry-ometer for Cracklin Oat Bran? For me, it's a zero because I have no interest in it.
52:55Exactly. I'm worried that people just will never eat it.
52:58I never even see it, you know? This was Dave's favorite cereal.
53:02Even he ate this. Horrible. It was like, you could tell me the worst fantasy call Dave has ever made.
53:09Yeah. And I would say it doesn't even come in the same stratosphere as saying that this is the best cereal of all time.
53:16Yeah, it's really bad. All right. Here's one. Sean Miller wants the worry-ometer for Devon Achan.
53:2126. 34. If you were drafting again today, where are you taking Devon Achan?
53:26Round two. Let's give him a 30 on the worry-ometer right in the middle, by the way.
53:31There we go. Round two for Achan? After one.
53:34So I was middle of round two. And I would have put Gentie back ahead of him after seeing the way he
53:41looked because I was concerned with the ankle injury.
53:44Late round two. Take Olave over him? Yep. I didn't think it was any more concerning for Achan than it was for Omarion Hampton.
53:52I guess the only thing that I'll say is I was worried about them being a good offense to begin with.
53:58And this was one of their likely winnable games.
54:01And so what happens when they're playing better teams?
54:04Like, it's going to get a lot worse. Yeah, it was disappointing against the Raiders.
54:09So I said earlier in the show, why is Brees Hall inspiration for Devon Achan?
54:14And the 2023 Brees Hall season is the best example of a running back on a terrible offense.
54:2030th in scoring. They averaged 13.9 points per game, the New York Jets that year.
54:24And finishing, he was number two overall in PPR, number three and half PPR.
54:29Per game, he was fifth or sixth in half in full PPR, Brees Hall.
54:33He had 76 catches. And he had, I think, Garrett Wilson was on.
54:37Garrett Wilson had 168 targets. Like, there's not going to be any of that for the Dolphins.
54:43And Brees Hall still had 87 targets and 76 catches.
54:46He scored nine touchdowns. And he just had four and a half yards per carry.
54:51He had enough production to be really good. But in week one that year, Brees Hall scored 14 and a half points.
54:58In weeks two, no, no, no. He scored 15.7.
55:01In weeks two through four, he scored a combined 14 and a half.
55:05So looking at the game log for Brees Hall, it might look like this for Devon H.
55:10There were a lot of really bad games. There were also a lot of really good games for Brees Hall.
55:17It wasn't consistent. And when you're on a terrible offense, I guess that maybe that happens more often.
55:22And I think, like, yes, the Raiders are probably one of the worst teams the Dolphins are going to play.
55:29The Raiders weren't complete pushovers against running backs last year.
55:32And I think their front might be a little better than we expected.
55:36So I'm not sure that was like a cakewalk matchup for a running back.
55:41It was just supposed to be better for usage.
55:43All right. This is for Brandon here. Worryometer on Jaden Reed.
55:4722. We didn't draft him to be a starter.
55:50I didn't expect him to be a starter. So I'm having a hard time calibrating.
55:55I guess I'll say 35. Okay. So that's 28 and a half, I think.
55:59So. Yeah. I mean, with Jaden Reed, like nothing changed.
56:02He didn't play in two receiver sets. He played 71% of his snaps in the slot.
56:07Something changed. Matthew Golden got a 30% target share.
56:10Like being that part-time player of Jaden Reed, if nobody's going to dominate targets, that could, that could work out.
56:17Okay. You could have a high target per outrun rate when you come in and produce really efficiently.
56:22But if they have two wide receivers that we want to start every week, then I think, and you've got Jaden Reed
56:29playing 60% of the snaps, then he's probably going to be dropped eventually.
56:34And Tucker Craft. Right. And Tucker Craft. Yeah. Right.
56:36They're going to have to throw a lot. Now, obviously just because Golden had 11, what do you have?
56:4313 targets? 12 targets. Doesn't mean it's going to happen again.
56:46Right. Yeah. Jaden Reed, he didn't also, doesn't have a carry.
56:50So hopefully he'll get a carry going forward. All right.
56:53A little bit worried about Jaden Reed just because Matthew Golden had such a good game.
56:58And yeah, that could, that could. Jaden Reed or Debo Samuel rest of season.
57:02Right now, Debo. I'll take digs over both. Yeah.
57:05I'll take digs over both also. Jaden Reed or Quentin Johnson rest of season?
57:10Quentin Johnson. Yeah. I'll, I'll stick with Johnson for at least one more week.
57:14All right. Speaking of which, Pete Farmer says, Justin Herbert, Worryometer.
57:18He's my QB1 and I'm terrified. I mean, to me, it's an unknown with the McConkie injury.
57:23Like you lose McConkie, it's not great. So with McConkie, 15%.
57:27Without McConkie, 25. 42. 42. No, it's just a difference of opinion.
57:30I think on Herbert, his numbers absolutely plummeted when McConkie left that game.
57:35Like about half as many yards per attempt went from about 10 to about five, something like that.
57:40It was crazy. So, all right. We'll keep an eye on that situation.
57:44And then the last, this is the most interesting one, I think, is Rasheed Rice from Wizzy.
57:50Rasheed Rice on the Worryometer. I do have a lot to say about this, but you guys go first.
57:5621. That sounds, that's in the not worried section.
57:59So I think that sounds right. And he is definitely somebody who, he may have the largest delta between what his current
58:06Worryometer is and what it will be if he's bad in week two.
58:10Okay. But I'd probably say 15. All right. That's fair.
58:13You guys are not worried about Rasheed Rice. I am a little more worried.
58:18I think people are feeling like he doesn't look like the same player.
58:22And I would have to agree. I thought he looked absolutely terrible, looked slow, and also just weird, a weird game for him.
58:29Rasheed Rice, he had an 8.1 average, 8.1 yard average route depth.
58:33He's usually around six. This was the second high, I think the second highest average route depth of his career.
58:39And he hasn't been anywhere near this since the beginning of his rookie season.
58:44He played less in the slot. He had a 25% slot rate.
58:48He's usually around 40%. I don't really know why he was used differently, but he was used differently.
58:53And he shouldn't be used more downfield. That's just not what he does.
58:58It's hard to judge him necessarily on his routes.
59:00What you want to see from Rasheed Rice is what he does after the catch.
59:05And since he only had, what do you have, two targets in this game?
59:10You couldn't really judge it. That one touchdown, I didn't think it was on him.
59:14I thought it was pathetic defense. But I know that there are some concerns out there for Rasheed Rice.
59:21And I'm with you, honestly. Because I thought he did not look like the same player.
59:26But again, kind of hard to tell because he wasn't running the same types of routes.
59:31And he didn't have the chance to do anything after the catch because he only had two targets.
59:36Last year, he played the Broncos. He had 9.8 PPR fantasy points on nine targets.
59:41Nine targets? He got two targets. Yeah, the very next.
59:44Well, I think what did the Chiefs have this year that they didn't have last year?
59:50Yes. And passion with Holmes. And that should factor into only 27 pass attempts from a Holmes.
59:55I learned that. The Broncos didn't play competitive football.
59:58And maybe the Colts won't either. But funny enough, he played the Colts the very next week after he played the Broncos last year and scored 22 points.
60:07So, this defense for the Colts doesn't look very good at all.
60:11If he's bad against the Colts, then we can start worrying.
60:14I mean, look, he had a very disjointed offseason again.
60:17He looks sluggish in camp. So, that's not encouraging.
60:20But at the same time, is he working himself back into shape?
60:24Hopefully, that'll be the case. There's definitely a buy-low window here if you still believe in Rice.
60:29So, to go back to the Coker golden type of receivers, could you turn one of those guys and maybe something else
60:36into Rice if you still believe in him? I think that's an easy trade to make at this point.
60:43So, it's a matter of just where you're at on both sides of it.
60:47If you have Rice and you still believe in him.
60:50And I know, Adam, you were excited about him this season.
60:54I was. I'm disappointed. I'm nervous. I don't really care that much about preseason.
60:58This is a guy I wish I had been able to see a little bit in the preseason.
61:04And here's Fantasy Points data. You know, they're charting all this average separation score versus target per route.
61:10So, he's ass. He's ass, yeah. So, he has a very low ass in this, which is average separation score and a
61:17very low target per route run rate. If you're looking at this graphic, if you're not looking at it, it's a scatter plot of all these wide receivers.
61:26And so, for example, Stefan Diggs was great. He had a ton of separation and a high target per route run rate.
61:33Mike Evans, Garrett Wilson, same thing. Josh Downs, if you see him on the bottom right.
61:38Josh Downs had a ton of separation, but a low target per route run rate.
61:43And you could look at that and be like, okay, that's encouraging.
61:46At least he was getting open. Rasheed Rice has the absolute worst data of all these wide receivers.
61:52He had very low separation and an extremely low target per route run rate.
61:57So, and also another guy that I think you should be concerned about.
62:01I went back and I watched every route of Chris Godwin.
62:04And he definitely looked better than he did last year.
62:07Definitely. But he also didn't look like some dynamic great receiver like he used to.
62:12I think Godwin looked good enough where he just needs to get more targets.
62:17He'll be fine. I don't think he's going to be as great as I thought he was, but that could be a weak one overreaction.
62:25But Rasheed Rice, I mean, this is a very concerning chart here.
62:29Why they used him differently? I don't know. Go ahead.
62:32Yeah, I've been looking. Well, I think they used him differently because Pat Sertan and like they didn't need to.
62:38He wasn't lined up on Sertan that much. I mean, it wasn't.
62:42But it's also a different coordinator. I mean, you know, I know it's Andy Reid still, but it's Eric Biannemi also having a say in this.
62:50And he likes his receivers to be more downfield than what we've seen in the past.
62:55And that's going to change a little bit. That shouldn't be Rasheed Rice.
63:00Like Rasheed Rice is not the guy you use downfield.
63:03It shouldn't be. But when you're talking about getting your best players on the field, and we know Worthy has some issues
63:10and Taekwon Thornton is, you know, a guy that I think everybody knows what he's doing when he's on the field.
63:16Like you got to do a little, you got to be a little bit more creative with, with Rice.
63:22And it's certainly when you get him out of there, when you're drawing two people, it's going to open up things in the run game.
63:30So this is going to be a discovery game, you know, as a Rice manager or somebody who's interested in Rice.
63:37And so the run game was exceptional. And I think that's the biggest takeaway is like, if they're going to continue to
63:44do that, yeah, it's going to be a bad year for Rice.
63:48Because he's not going to have to throw as much and they're not going to have to rely on him to be that guy.
63:56So I don't know. I'm not ready to give up on Rice yet.
64:00I think this could be a great second half of season type of player as he gets in better shape because he looks out of shape.
64:08So let me just, since I'm the worried guy, I would, I would definitely try to trade like the Jalen Cokers and
64:15Matthew Goldens of the world and something for Rice.
64:18But I don't think I would trade DJ more for Rasheed Rice.
64:22I'm worried enough. That's fair. This doesn't have the targets.
64:25It doesn't make you feel better about the targets concerned.
64:28And I've been searching and searching. Jacob probably just remembers it from his, his brain.
64:33But from what I recall, Rasheed Rice last year and even the year before his average separation score has been the worst
64:40of the wide receiver ones and maybe the worst of the wide receiver twos.
64:45Well, now it's the worst of the wide receiver fours.
64:48Jacob, what do you think of, you said you wanted to talk about Rasheed Rice's ass.
64:53I don't remember saying that. Putting words in your mouth.
64:56Did you want to talk about Rice's ass or Kayshaan Booty?
65:00Booty. Yeah, honestly. I'm sick of talking about Rice.
65:02We were role for Rice in week one. Out of the slot, a lot more than normal.
65:08Career low slot rate. He also had a career high average route depth.
65:12I don't know if y'all have talked about this enough.
65:15Yeah, I did. I got a little Jacob Gibbs, you know, advanced metrics streak in me.
65:20Let me ask you this. What level of receiver would you be trying to trade Rice for that would be realistic?
65:27Like if I had Rasheed Rice? Like would you take Jameson Williams for Rice right now?
65:32No. I just updated the rest season rankings. I have Rice at 25 and Williams at 27.
65:38I think that's the right range. Devontae Adams or Rice?
65:41I have enough concerns about Adams. I'd give Rice another go.
65:44But I guess... Evans or Rice? Evans. Oh, Rice still.
65:47Okay. So Evans has the Rice role from last year.
65:51I'm trying not to overreact, Jamie. My gut reaction is Rasheed Rice could be one of the biggest busts in fantasy.
65:57But I know that it's only one week and you can't overreact.
66:01So it's worry-o-meter. It's not drop-o-meter. It's not get rid of-o-meter.
66:05But like some guys are going to be busts.
66:08Rasheed Rice to me had one of the most concerning week ones of anyone in the NFL.
66:13So this is your new Chiefs take. Have you rescinded your old Chiefs take or are you sticking with that one?
66:20I mean, I still think their passing game is garbage.
66:23No, the take was they are going to miss the playoffs and Andy Reid's going to be forced into retirement.
66:29I'll stick with it for one more week. Okay.
66:32Jacob, dazzle us with some stats. What do you got for us?
66:36Yeah, I don't know. Maybe you've already stolen my stats.
66:39Sorry, I just got here. So I haven't caught the rest of the show yet.
66:44I do think it's interesting that Walker had four designed targets, designed her first three targets in week one.
66:50So only B. John Robinson, Ashton Gentty, Chase Brown, and Travis Etienne had more at the running back position.
66:56That was part of the reason I think some of us might have been a little bit worried about Rice is that
67:03not only is Walker just getting more backfield work in terms of carries than previous backs in this offense, but also that
67:10he could get some of the design targets and stuff like that that's gone to Rice in the red zone previously.
67:17We do see him score on a designed red zone target in this game.
67:21And then my other favorite Walker stat, there's so many.
67:24He gained positive yards on all but one carry, which is really impressive for somebody who people have criticized a lot for
67:31being consistent and taking negative runs and stuff. Um, but my favorites that is that he had, you might've already said this
67:38one, 173 yards rushing and was charted with negative six yards before contact.
67:43According to true media. Amazing. One of the worst tackling performances.
67:46Yeah. Yeah. The Broncos were embarrassing. Oh, he's so good.
67:49Um, where are you at rest of season? Like I, I think there are only a couple of guys you could definitively say you'd rather have than him.
67:58Um, I did, I did a rest of season rankings update on beyond the box score and I put four guys ahead
68:05of him, but I think you could easily just put two.
68:09Yeah. Yeah. Obviously the first two. Yeah. Gibbs B.
68:12John still Taylor for me. He's right there after that.
68:15I mean, he was, he was there for me preseason.
68:18So I think I had him seventh, you know, so I'm, um, extremely curt.
68:23I've got him sixth. Did you talk about the dog and Kade usage in terms of like blocking more?
68:29No. Okay. I think this is actually really relevant.
68:31Like this makes it a lot more believable to me that Kade might break out this year.
68:37Um, so he was on the field for 85% of the Buffalo bills plays that involved two or more tight ends in
68:44week one in healthy games last year. That rate was 65%.
68:47So 85% is a huge jump. Um, in 2025, he was on the field for only 52% of design run plays with
68:54two or more tight ends on the field. And in week one, he was out there for 13 of 15 of those plays where they're not hiding him.
69:03They're letting him be out there for the big personnel plays when they're running the ball and that allows him to be a full-time player.
69:11Um, the other thing that was relevant is they ran three tight ends on over 40% of their plays last year.
69:18The Rams led the league with a 31% rate.
69:21The next highest rate was 13%. So it was the Rams and no one else was even close.
69:27And we saw like Ben Johnson start to do some of that down the stretch 41% for Joe Brady in week one.
69:34Joe Brady also cranked up the priest, that motion, uh, motion of the snap of the football play action rate, all the
69:41cheat code stuff that we like in terms of boosting efficiency.
69:44Joe Brady has been doing that more and more every year.
69:48Um, he just doesn't really get the credit. People act like he's a Josh Allen merchant, but it's like, I don't know.
69:55He's a young guy who seems pretty smart and has now got a head coaching job and just put up a ton
70:02of points against the fricking Houston Texans. And you obviously have your downfield proceedings that with Kincaid, where he had 30, uh,
70:09yards on three different catches, which is like the most ever for a tight end.
70:14I think that that makes sense. He's out there running routes as like the primary read a lot of the time where
70:21it's like him, two tight ends and key on Coleman.
70:24Yeah. I was going to say key on Coleman, DJ Moore actually was out on the field more than Coleman in, in,
70:31uh, the 13 personnel, but Coleman ran four routes out of that formation and DJ Moore only ran one.
70:37All right. What else? Interesting. Um, I like to look at, uh, early in the season when we have like smallish sample
70:44sizes on like rookies and players like that, or in the case of lad McConkey and Zay flowers guys that got hurt.
70:51Um, but we're off to just ridiculous starts, like what their shares were when they were on the field.
70:57Um, and it was a 54% target share for lad McConkey when he was on the field, 60% for Zay flowers.
71:04Um, I was so impressed. Obviously that's not sustainable, but I was so impressed with what Baltimore's offense was doing.
71:10Um, I think Declan Doyle fricking cooked in this game and obviously it's the Colts defense.
71:15So you don't want to overreact too much. Um, but all the levers he was pulling was working.
71:21Lamar Jackson looked totally locked in, totally in control and they were getting whatever they want.
71:26And so to me, like who's this year's Jason, that looks like the clearest, the clearest like emulation of what Jason was
71:33doing in terms of succeeding with all of the play action, the big personnel stuff, a scary run game that was allowing
71:40him to just like have all this space down the field.
71:44That's what Zay flowers look like in week one.
71:47I don't want to just say that we're going to get that all year.
71:51Cause they flowers obviously had a big week one last year and then it slowed down.
71:56Um, but him and lad McConkey, man, they, they're just such good route runners.
72:01They're such good movers. And when you get them in space with a creative play designer, like we saw in week one, they were, they looked unstoppable.
72:09Um, so I'm really intrigued to see how that develops for those two going forward.
72:14Hopefully they are healthy holds on because like, I think either of them could finish as wide receiver ones this year.
72:21Yeah. Hopefully for one of them. So, uh, give me one more stat here.
72:25Um, Antonio Williams is a rookie that I really, really liked for Washington.
72:29Um, and he's one of my favorite stashes. Um, and I don't know if, I mean, obviously he had the big red zone touchdown.
72:37So maybe people are coming around on it, but he didn't play very much.
72:41So I don't think he's been like a popular waiver wire ad.
72:45Um, but he had 44% of the targets when he was on the field.
72:50Um, he was really, really productive. He was one of the highest graded receivers by PFF.
72:55Um, his average separation score, according to fantasy points data was the highest of any receiver in week one.
73:01And this is a guy who shredded in college and looked really, really good in the preseason.
73:06Um, and now he's doing it against pros against the Eagles.
73:10I mean, he was, it was only like five reps or something, but every time he was matched up against Cooper to
73:17Jean, he made him look so slow. Um, I think he's honestly like really underrated player.
73:22And if you're just looking at like the rookie receivers, him and Caleb Douglas for the dolphins are the two that impressed me the most.
73:30Caleb Douglas, this isn't a stat, but that guy was open on almost every single play.
73:35What the heck? I don't know if you've watched it.
73:38He has really good. Yeah. Yeah. So those are the two I have my eye on after week one downfield too.
73:45Not just like these easy little targets here. He was getting open downfield for sure.
73:50All right. Jacob, do you have, do you have anything on DK Metcalf?
73:54No, I need to dig into the Pittsburgh stuff more.
73:57Um, but I don't really want to like, I've watched like 12 games and they're the one that I haven't got to.
74:04I don't know. I have looks. I have something good on DK Metcalf.
74:08If you want to see it's more, more, not necessarily like a stat.
74:12What the heck is this? So DK Metcalf just like, you know, stares into your soul and Adam, sometimes when he's listening
74:19to us, he's very, you know, tuned in. Are those Adam's actual eyes?
74:24It almost looks like AI. Like we copy paste.
74:26No, no, that's, that's Adam. But if you merge the two together, it's really good.
74:31This is what you get. Oh my gosh. That is weird.
74:35That was good. DK Metcalf did have the second most air yards.
74:39Drop more like drop K Metcalf. He should have a big game.
74:42He should have a big game, but, uh, didn't.
74:45He and Jameson Williams are the two where it's like, well, the usage is really good, but the result was horrible.
74:52So like, I don't know if I'm buying that this is going to keep happening.
74:57If it does, maybe it's a breakout. I don't know.
75:00All right, Jacob. Thank you very much for coming on.
75:03Jamie. Thanks, Jacob. Thank you. Adam, stare us into space.
